This weekend, Palo Alto turns University Avenue into an open-air art wonderland for the 43rd Festival of the Arts — 250 artists spill creativity onto the streets with sculpture, ceramics, photography, and more. New this year: “Artistry in Action” live demos by Pacific Art League painters and calligraphers, plus 17 chalk artists on Tasso Street and a kid-friendly chalk zone.
