- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: Good morning, friends.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_02]: and enemies and welcome into the week five recap show where we go game by game talking through everything fantasy related that just happened over the weekend we talking about routes run we talking about snap counts talking about wins losses fantasy blow up fantasy blow downs that's word uh and most importantly the injuries in the takeaways of the weekend guys we could be selling high on guys we could be buying low on and guys we just don't want to panic
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: which are most guys I think but a lot of people to talk about a lot of games to go through.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: We had two teams on by this week.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: Kansas City and uh I can't think of the other teams on by
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's fine.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: We go into week six and there are four teams on by it is Detroit, Cincinnati, Miami, and Minnesota.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: So you've got a handful of players.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: And now is when things get tight.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: Now is when you got a maneuver, the waiver wire well.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: Now is when death actually starts mattering.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_02]: Now is when like good managers separate themselves from bad managers.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: We shall dive into the recap show.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, let me make sure everything is good.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_02]: We cool the Panthers.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_02]: The Panthers.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: We'll start off as always.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: There's a night football.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_02]: Bad loss for the Cowboys.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: They were playing against backup Jalen Daniels who had a relative of a good game.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: Who's got some power.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_02]: He's got some juice in his offer.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_02]: He has like a flick of the risk type throw where like I'd imagine if you watch that in person.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_02]: There's a fly been going around my house for actually like three weeks.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_02]: I just mapped a shit out.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: I've actually smacked it probably five to nine times and it just keeps coming back to life.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: I've never killed it, but
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: it's still hanging out here.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_02]: And there are a lot of lights in this room.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: They lose to the Jalen Daniels lead.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: The big story of this game was Buckeurving has a massive bounce back after everyone kind of left him for dead.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Tucker was taking goal line last week.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: Kenny Gamewood was getting involved in the past catching work.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: And then Buckeaks blows 21 for 165 and a touchdown on the ground has another touchdown through the air.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: So good to see him back, obviously this is against the Dallas Cowboys defense, which is
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: horrendously horrendous.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: So don't want to get over our skis about it, but obviously really good to see if you're a bucky owner in good gamescripts.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: He'll be good.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: I will say Baker may feel I think there's a very good chance that we see him back next week in week six.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: Let me pull up the schedule grid real quick on the iPad Yeah, enough So we can talk more through future matchups as well.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: He is pin and a full
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: Schedule.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: Grid.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: Bing, bang, boom.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_02]: Load from me one time.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: The Buccaneers play the Colts, which is a plus plus plus matchup.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Nope.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's actually a lie.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: They play the Pittsburgh Steelers, which relatively good defense.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: They've been a tough team to really pin down.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: Whether or not, we want to be playing people against them.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, we want Baker may field back
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: you know, a boooka and really that's it.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you could start anybody else in this offense.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: On the flip side, no major takeaways for the Dallas cap boys.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: We had a big game from pickins.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: Had a down game from CD lamb.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: It was kind of in now with a quad injury.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: Apparently it is a quad bruise.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: They have 10 days to rest.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously after playing on Thursday and a football.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: They play against Green Bay Packers, which is a good matchup.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: They're playing in Green Bay, you know, we're not worried about CD.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't believe, again, Quadruze, I don't think is anything serious.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: Has 10 days of rest should be good to go for next week, so no concerns there.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_02]: Jaguars and Philly just the sloppiest sloppiest sloppiest fucking London game.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I would say ever but that's actually literally just what the London games are.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_02]: They're a brutal watch.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: They're literally fucking just brain rot football.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: But they just keep sending Jaguars back there and I believe the Jaguars are pulling back back games there.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: So they they do this every year pretty much I think it's their choice to do this actually.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: They probably get paid a lot by the NFL I don't remember what the actual perks are, but sure there's something riding where the owners like I don't give a fuck about players and whether or not they want to do it But filly to play Houston next week in London as well, and then they get their buy week after that So the Jaguars end up winning a game.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: They shouldn't have won, but we're for fantasy.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: We don't give a shit.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: We'll ship Lee
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: sorts this game scores a touchdown hurts his foot.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: He's likely going to be out multiple weeks.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_02]: They already have all their running backs out multiple weeks tank.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: Bigs B is on the IR, uh, sick one, Barclays, the hamstring strain.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: Damian Pierce is called up from the practice squad.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's elevated and they're getting 11 carries, but behind that offensive line and against the Jacksonville Jaguar's run defense, it's an impossible task.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: They're so good against the run right now.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: And
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: you know, if say I'd be pretty surprised if they go on his back next week, but there is the chance that he is.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_02]: They play against the Carolina Panthers, which would be a plus matchup for whoever the running back is, you know, with Will Shipley out, they will have to once again call up another running back.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: They called up Carson Steel as well, but that was pretty much just to be like have enough players on the actual depth chart to play the game.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_02]: He got no work in this game.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: I would be surprised that they don't call up a dude who can actually get touches.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: They have jade on blue on the practice squad, so maybe they call him up, but take one.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: If he's not back this week, probably eyeing the week seven return against Dallas, which is another great matchup, but yeah, it's hard to play any of these running backs with any sort of confidence based on the backfield and everything looks.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: Outside of that divante Smith also nursing back the nursing back from the hamstring injury miss another one here Maybe he's back next week.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm overly optimistic about it other than that There's just no consistency to this passing game jail and hurts is not scoring rushing touchdown So he's become a really really really Uninspiring fantasy quarterback right now We did have the return of Dallas got her he had nine targets led the team and caught six balls for 38 yards So obviously a welcome site and with the
- 6:14[SPEAKER_02]: schedule coming up with Carolina Dallas, Washington, New York, like really, really juicy.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: So, Goddard should be good, especially if the Vontesmith misses another week.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: On the flip side, Trevor Lawrence goes 331.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: Two touchdowns adds 25 on the ground.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_02]: Base shot two and once again looks phenomenal, if Liam Cohen wasn't such a fuck ass with what he does on the goal line.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: Base shot two and legit should have like another four touchdowns on the year.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's just getting so unlucky with.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: holding penalties and bad play calls on the one and all this bullshit, but he still is someone I'd be very, very, very, very confident about going forward.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_02]: They play Houston next week again in London.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: They're staying there.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: They're usually much better on the second game as, you know, it makes sense.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_02]: You travel and you're getting adjusted to kind of life on the road there and then you're there for an extra week.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: So you start to get a little bit more comfortable there.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_02]: So the
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I wouldn't say like relatively heavy heavy favorites because she's obviously a good team, but like I think we'll see a pretty good performance out of them offensively, then they get the buy then indie, but Parker Washington obviously the story this game six for one 24 to touchdowns any time they need a big play Trevor Lawrence is just like.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: Fuck it.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: Let's chuck it up there.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: Make something happen, and he did.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_02]: Another consecutive good game from Breton Trange, 7468 on eight targets there.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: So he's becoming a staple in this offense, and then there's really no one else to talk about Brian Thomas Jr. with another zero piece continues to get more and more phased out.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, again, based on two in 22 carries 72 yards 3.3 a carry, but like when you watch him play, he just he's got a different gear to him.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: He actually looks really really good just via the eye test.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: and only two carries for Chris Rodriguez here.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_02]: Packers and the bears, the packers beat the shit out of the Chicago Bears, Tyson Beijing played terribly ends up getting benched at the end of the game.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: Case kingdom comes in, Deondry Swift has a relatively high floor game.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think he had 17 or 18 fantasy points 9 for 43 in the ground and a touchdown, but they were down trailing almost immediately so they couldn't really establish the run.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: They also were without common.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm guy in this one deal with the turf toe injury.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: So, we'll have to see if
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: If you can get back next week, because obviously a big piece of their run game, they play at Atlanta next week.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: The receiver is more of just like a shit fest miracle around there with Bayesian and Kase Keenum.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_02]: There is a lot of optimism about Caleb Williams returning next week.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he's coming back from the multi-week hamstring strain.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that it's a guarantee.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely wouldn't go that far.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: He did get a limited practice in before this game.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, I think it was a very, very long shot that he was going to be able to play in this one.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: But the fact that he did get a limited practice in it, practice in already does Bowdwell for his chances of playing next week.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: Again, don't think it's a guarantee.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: So if you have Caleb Williams in spots and you're playing on starting him,
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: I would definitely make sure you have some sort of backup plan, especially if you're in like a super flex league or something.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: If you were starting, you know, Beijing or Keenam or whatever.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, I don't even know if you can hold on.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to hold on to them, but you get the point.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think he able to 50 50 to return based on how I'm reading this situation right now.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_02]: The receiver is burdened for 47.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_02]: Rome, three for 40.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's just been pretty abysmal this year.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_02]: Rochon Johnson makes it in there.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: Five for 34.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_02]: He just kind of played second fiddle to DeAndre's Swift.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_02]: And then, Lovelin continues to disappoints.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_02]: Flipside Jordan Love was so fucking fun to watch and when the when the packers get the play against the defense that doesn't get to Jordan love in like point two seconds This offense is so fun to watch and it's so fun to have a dude like Christian Watson on your fantasy team.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: So love goes 25 for 31 367 yards two touchdowns if you watch the game I mean the touchdowns so Watson were both deep the second one was incredible catch
- 10:03[SPEAKER_02]: just like over the head of one of the bears defenders he goes six for one forty three two touchdowns Matthew goals and go six for one twenty three Tucker craps goes five for sixty four it is just like
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's so fun watching Jordan love play when he has just a little bit of time and and not a really really strong secondary is that going to be the case every game absolutely not like they're going to struggle against teams at blitz and a lot but their next three games man Dallas Detroit Carolina like this is going to be a fun offense to watch for the time being they also added a bunch of veterans over the last couple weeks of their offensive line with all the injuries
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: and stuff, Kevin Zitler, and they're not like plus plus players by any means, but I would say it's definitely looking like more of a positive than what they're offensive line had been.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_02]: Will it hold up against stronger past rushes?
- 10:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but are we getting that over the next couple of weeks?
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: Detroit's pretty good defensive line, actually, but you guys get the point.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the type of game that we want players in Dallas, Detroit, Carolina, going to be
- 11:03[SPEAKER_02]: Marshall Lloyd 10 for 31 to touch downs.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: I actually picked them as I think my sleeper pick of the week in a tick talk.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: We did If you're not following us at BDE we do like a fantasy sleeper of the week for each position and I drafted Lloyd not because I think he's fucking any good
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: but because Christopher Brooks was out so you were kind of consolidating the work between Lloyd and Caleb Johnson, even though Pierre Strong got involved here, but Martian Lloyd does get in with two touchdowns.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_02]: Is it going to be this easy every week, not in close?
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: But again, Dallas, Detroit, Carolina, still haven't heard a peep about Josh Jacobs.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: We are entering weeks six right now, just kind of surprising at this point.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, hey, hey,
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, like, I'm not excited to start March on Lloyd, but he is probably the one A in this offense right now and will likely get the goal line work if they get down there.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_02]: But with his packers offense, they just like score from so fucking far out because they have so many explosive playmakers on the outside.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: Next up, we got the Texans and the Titans.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_02]: The Mecal Rines took back over defensive play calling duties, whether that was the reason that they beat up on the Titans, or it was just because they were playing the Titans.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_02]: Tough to know, but they win 26-23.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_02]: Get the first win on the season.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: Move the Tennessee Titans to 0-5.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: See you, Shroud plays another very strong game again, Tennessee Titans, so we don't want to get over our skis here.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_02]: 261 and a touchdown.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_02]: a couple of big takeaways.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: Not much from the Tennessee side.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_02]: Can't work.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: Continue to struggle.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: This often continues to struggle.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_02]: Cardinal Tates really the only guy that, you know, you want.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think Juan de Robinson's kind of like a shaky flex.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_02]: You can throw him in if you need to.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's like in that Malik Washington mold where, you know, four for 66 for 46 or 50 will likely be.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: his game script or his game results more often than not, but like almost no ceiling for you.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: But Cornell T, yeah, this was always going to be tough match up.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_02]: Huston's obviously a much better defense than what the stats have said up to this point playing against the Texans with again, Ryan's back taking over play calling duties like was going to be an issue for this matchup.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: So we have a bunch of news with the Texans offense.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: The receivers spread the ball around in this game.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: Hutchinson 65, Nico Collins 56, Jalen Noel 41, Kishan Bootsa 38, Dalton Schultz 30.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: So it was kind of all over the place.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: We have some additions and we have some additions by subtractions happening over the next week or so for Houston.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: Again, they're playing in London next week.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: So, we'll start with the backfield.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: Dave Montgomery pulls his groin.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: They said he is weak to weak right now.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to miss some time per Demical Rines.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: Week to week.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: Usually, I would put the over under at 2.5.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_02]: So, likely going to miss 2 weeks, maybe a third week.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: We don't really know.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: He left the game and most of the Twitter doctors say that had he tried to return, then maybe this is like a very minor grade one where maybe he could miss a week.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_02]: They're a little bit more pessimistic on Dave and Montgomery.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: Woody Marx has looked better than Dave and Montgomery up to this point and he will probably assume workhorse duties.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure they're called someone up from the practice squad to split the backfield with Woody Marx, but it looks like Woody Marx is going to be a pretty solid running back to option for the next couple of weeks while Dave and Montgomery kind of heels up from that growing injury.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Houston again, they play Jacksonville, which is arguably the toughest run matchup right now for any
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: player in the NFL at this point.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: They just don't let up yards and don't let up any success on the ground.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: And then they play the New York Giants and then they have their buy.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_02]: So likely, Monk Umrey's back after that week, eight by, but you might get good two weeks out of Woody Marks.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, sure, he'll probably
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: have some trouble actually like accumulating yards and scoring fantasy points for Jacksonville.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_02]: But at the end of the day, if you're going to give someone 20 touches, like they'll they'll put you a double digit PPR points.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: And he'll get the goal line roll there, which we've seen the last few weeks.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_02]: I believe he had another score this week that got called back by a penalty or something like that.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: So we marched, yeah, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much,
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: the addition of Marvin Harris and Junior going to the Houston Texans.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: So Marvin is going to join the Houston Texans.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_02]: They traded, I believe, a second and seventh for Marvin a sixth, or it might have been Marvin a seventh for sixth in the second.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever it is, basically, Marvin and a Marvin for a second and then like a pickswap of the seventh and a sixth.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: So Marvin gets a fresh start in Houston.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: Clearly, it wasn't working there in Arizona.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'll make it simple, am I optimistic about Marv here in Houston?
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: Not really, I think he'll pretty much do like what we're getting from Xavier Hutchets and what we're getting from Kishan Bootsay.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_02]: We're like, he could definitely have good weeks and he's probably a decent option opposite Nico Collins here and I do think this passing offense is probably just going to go pretty
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: or this offense is just going to go pretty pass heavy like they can't find a lot of success on the ground.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have Dave Montgomery anymore.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: Like I think this is a game where Houston won by 23 points and CJ Straud still pass the ball 34 times to 20 running back carries.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: You have 27 carries overall, but six of them are shroud.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: You know, end of the game kneeling
- 16:16[SPEAKER_02]: Very very pass heavy they are Passing them all a lot and we'd love to see that for like an eco Collins, but there's also an offensive spreads of all around a lot, so like
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen over the last two years, they don't want to get, they also just tradeification booths.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: They don't want to get rid of all their guys.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_02]: They gave up the second round pick.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I'd imagine that they're going to use more, more, pretty heavily, pretty early on.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: And force him into the number two role and kind of see what they get out of them.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: Whether or not they move Nico into more of like an inside role or they move him around the formation more or they do that with more of.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty intrigued to see.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: right now, Marvin, you know, been playing a lot of outside in Arizona, Nico Collins is pretty much exclusive in X on the outside.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_02]: He could do anything that's really matter, but he would get some more easy open looks.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: If they were to move him around the formation a little bit more, but I don't know.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: I just look at these other guys outside of Nico and like these are all, this is like the ceiling of all these players games.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like every single game, it's like three of these guys basically just go like three for 40.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: And that's pretty much what this offense has become over the years, over the last like year or so.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm just not optimistic that Marvel is going to have games where you know does better than like three for 60.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he scores a touchdown, but like I'm not, I don't know.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not super optimistic about this move for him to be honest, at least not short term.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: Moving to the Bengals and the Dolphins 31 to 24 burlethos for touchdowns doesn't really need to do a whole lot.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_02]: Miami does score 14 in the fourth quarter to make it look a lot closer.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_02]: Then it probably should be, I think the biggest takeaways here are tomorrow chasing T against both healthy.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: T against it not have a good game.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: Two for 22 on four targets.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: However, he did play pretty much every passing down in this game.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see, uh, not going to miss, you know, multiple weeks.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_02]: They have the buy next week, so we should be fully healthy by the time they come back and play Baltimore.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so, you know, good to see for both Chase and T. Higgins, we talked about the other chase though, Chase Brown.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_02]: He loses a fumble in this game.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: And then it's just a pure split with Somaje P Ryan, Chase Brown.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's not scoring touchdowns.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, if Chase and Higgins are in the game, he doesn't see as many targets either and Somaje P Ryan.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm not going to like pretend like his, you know, his 4.9 yards per carry here is sticky.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I think people are very reactionary to like, oh, he just looks so much better in this game than Chase Brown did.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that means they're going to start giving P. Brian work over Chase Brown.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was just a game flow.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think they were up by a lot.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think Chase Brown fumbling obviously contributed to that.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: Chase Brown is shaping up to be
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to say like the biggest fantasy bus because I'm sure it'll still have good games like this is an offense that you still want to have parts of, but it's clear that Samajya P Ryan is going to split the backfield with him.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: Whereas I thought it could be more of like an 85 15 opportunity share with Chase Brown of Samajya P Ryan, probably going to be closer to 65 or 60 40 35 kind of thing.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going out of my way to like add some Ajay Peehron to my team.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: I think you can make worse ads if something were to happen to Chase Brown, he would probably get a very, very big workload in a backfield that we want a part of, but he's just not a very good player.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_02]: He's not explosive.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_02]: He will catch some passes, but so will Chase Brown.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: So it's more like arrow down for Chase Brown than it is, like optimism for anything else.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: on the flip side, Malik Willis, another really, really poor day at the QB position does end up with a really nice Russian stat line A for 74 and a touchdown, which is good to see, because that's about all he's doing in fantasy right now.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be Gordon has been so much better than everybody had given him credit for when that waiver wire we get 18 for 88 and a touchdown.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's just been very good.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's just been a rock solid RB2 for everyone who picked them up there.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: They're not a very good team, um, but they get a pretty good schedule man.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_02]: They get their buy in weeks six after that.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: They get the jets New England stuff, then they get Detroit indie buffalo the jets Denver Chicago Green Bay like
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's uh, yeah, I mean, I'll be Gordon.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: I think I think he'll end up just finishing as like the RB 17 or 18 on the year and that's just what you got off the waiver wire.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: So 18 more carriers for him just six for jail and right.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: So thought this get end up being a split backfield does not look like that is the case.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: doesn't get it done, um, don't want to give up quite yet, but I think there's a good chance I end up dropping him in your idiot league mates, given the fact that they do have their buy coming up, so it's not like there's going to be a ton of demand on him.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_02]: On the opposite side of the buy, I could pick him back up if I want to, but I do need the roster spot, unfortunately, and it looks like he's on the chopping block.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: Next up, we got the paths versus the Raiders, the Patriots.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: Second consecutive big week, 45 to 17 Drake may monster day.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_02]: 374 and four touchdowns through the air adds 25 and a touchdown on the ground.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think the biggest fantasy takeaways still they're still spreading the ball around a ton.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_02]: Who are only a dobs day, but like Kyle Williams, eight tomorrow Douglas eight.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: Fton Chism got involved Eli Rare like.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: just the names on this list of guys who caught balls it's it's this is what the offense is when it's at its peak when it's performing a straight may taking shots sound fields being very accurate but spreading the shit out of the ball around there um no Mac Collins still calf injury AJ Brown uh
- 21:33[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that I would say the reports are super optimistic, they said he could return to practice this week.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think that definitely is far from like, oh, he's shooting up in week six.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: They play the jets, so you'd love to get him back there.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_02]: They have a rule of phenomenal five game stretch as far as he passing offense is concerned.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_02]: They have the jets, they have the Chicago Bears, they have the Miami Dolphins, they have the Green Bay Packers, and they have the Detroit Lions, and then they get their buy.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_02]: So if we can get AJ Brown back by like week seven,
- 22:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think you have a phenomenal buy spot here for AJ Brown right now.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: Trayvion Henderson injures his ankle.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: I believe it was the same ankle he was dealing with in the summer.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we have a ton of news or reports on Henderson.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: We probably will by the time like tonight, Monday and F. football or tomorrow rolls around.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: Let me just do a quick Twitter search and see if we find anything.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: Tray Vion.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: Patriots running back, trying to understand who suffered ankle injury yesterday, will get tests done to determine how much time if any he will miss per rap sheet.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: It remains that we've seen how long he's going to be out.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to have tests today to determine what is going on with his ankle and how much time he'll miss.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: But of course, if he does miss time, Remodry is even sent you.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so yeah, we just kind of got to wait on Trayvon Henderson's ankle results.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, if he is out, I mean, it is just wheels up for Remodry against the jets.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_02]: next week and again Chicago Miami Green Bay Detroit like great matchups for him.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: So despite like him underperforming this year and despite him fumbling the ball and all that kind of shit when his backfield is condensed to either him or Trayvon Henderson they typically do very very well.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: And their offensive line is looking pretty good despite actually the injury to Will Campbell.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's also dealing with his own lower body injury here and that's one we have to wait for test results on but even with him out doing little looked.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_02]: Great in this one.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, Ramanjray would be the guy Cory Kiner filled in and Got some work here 650 too, but he also lost the fumble.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: So it might just be Ramanjray for 85% of the work in some great matchups going forward On the flip side the Raiders just got nothing going on the ground.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_02]: Gentie looks like he's still like I don't know
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: disappointing, hampered.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: I think one thing that's probably important to note too with the struggles of genty is not only is he probably playing a less than 100%, but like, remember how bad this offensive line was last year.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think it can be taken for granted that, like, yes, they added a piece or two onto it, and it's majorly upgraded from where it was last year, but it's not like they're one of the best
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: blocking teams in the NFL.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so I think you need to understand that they were so bad last year that like even a minor increase is a big deal.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm looking at it right now.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: There's still 26 in run blocking grade in the NFL.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: So like, yes, they're improved.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: They're not dead last, but I still think it's still a tough task to be efficient on the ground behind this offensive line.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, unless he's out, then you can't really use Mike Washington, obviously Brock Bowers continues to eat.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_02]: This was without, this was a Patriots defense without both Christian Zales and Carlton Davis or top two cornerbacks and Brock Bowers is the dude who, like, even at tight end, was going to face the top cornerbacks.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_02]: If the opposing team has a cornerback that shadows, top-wide receivers, they're going to use him on Brock.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_02]: Like if Christian Zales suited up in this one, he would have been
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: stuck to Brockbauer's for most of the game whether or not that would have worked.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_02]: I can't tell you But eight for one cent in a touchdown Brockbauer's is so good.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: Clint Kubiack is so good We did see our first our first game play for Nando Mendoza You know, they were down 28 points in the fourth quarter, so he came in You know, played some snaps Looked whatever, you know, we haven't seen like real real real game action from him yet though
- 25:34[SPEAKER_02]: Next up, we got the Vikings and the Saints.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_02]: The Vikings win 23 to 13, and they go to 5 and 0, sending the Saints to 1 and 4.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually surprising.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't realize they were 0 and 3 at home and 1 and 4 overall.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: I felt like they were doing better because they, like, put up a really good fight against Detroit, and then won their game in week two, and I'm like, yeah, they're like pretty good.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: They're not, they're not pretty good.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Minnesota.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_02]: So Kyler back Justin Jefferson played in this one played great six catches 79 yards touchdown.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: They were without Jordan Addison.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: They lose TJ Hawkins into a concussion very early on in this game.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: So he was a no factor as well.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, you look at the list of guys that they were throwing to haven't heard of half of these dudes.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_02]: Gavin birththal.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: Gavin birththalm you just Sean Jones Ben Jurassic like.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 26:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_02]: Aaron Jones played a hell of a fucking game here at one point.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_02]: He left with a knee injury and I was like, all right, Jordan Mason coming back after the buy next week and then Aaron Jones came back and just played lights out.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: So this dude is gotten like 5,000 touches over the last three or four games with Jordan Mason out.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_02]: Now they have their buy next week.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: I do expect Jordan Mason to return after the buy.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's going to go back to what it was before.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: Like I don't, I don't know.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_02]: And even in favor of Aaron Jones, probably, to be honest, just by how good he's looked, they clearly just trust the shit out of him.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: Now, this to me is going to be one of the bigger overreactions of the weekend where everyone's like, oh, Kyler's actually like, kind of good again.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: Like, okay.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_02]: We have a five year sample size and then one game is going to get us back on a collard Murray.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, you had a good fantasy day, 229 and a touchdown through the air.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: 10 for 51 on the ground.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: His touchdown was a heave to Justin Jefferson in triple coverage.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: And I get it, you have Justin Jefferson, and like those things will happen when you have Jefferson, but that was just as likely to be a pick or an incompletion.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: And then a stat-line look shitty.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: I still think this offense looks very clunky with columnary.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_02]: I have this, this did nothing to me to move me about how good this actual offense is.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: I heard a stat today that their EPA per play on defense is first in the NFL.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_02]: Minnesota and their EPA per play on offense is dead last in the NFL.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: Not surprising.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: And that might have been prior to week five, but that's what it was.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so yeah, I still have major concerns about Kyler Murray in this passing offense going forward.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: But good to see Justin Jefferson fully healthy back off the, um, ankle injury.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: And again, they have their buying weeks six.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_02]: So unfortunately, he's not really going to be able to take advantage of a possible addison slash Hawkinson misgame here on the flip side, Tyler Chuck.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: Well yeah and the other thing I should say like the other reason I'm like less optimistic about Kyler is because the Saints defense is fucking terrible too.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like anytime we have these anytime we have a sample size of like four games where it's like all right this guy's bad and then he's bad and then he's bad and then he's bad and then they're always a good game against the worst fucking defense in the NFL he's back like no fucking learn ball one time.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_02]: The New Orleans Saints.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: So Chuck plays probably one of the worst games in his not probably played the worst game of his NFL career.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: 96 passing yards, two interceptions.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: Brian Flores had this man in hell.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: He had this offensive line in hell, who's without one of if not their best tackle, Kevin Banks.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_02]: not going to be back anytime soon, uh, while it was out in Kamara in the backfield last week, who scored two touchdowns this week.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: It was Kendra Miller, 10 for 30 in the touchdown on the ground.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: So very difficult to figure it out right now.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: Who's going to be the guy.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: They play the Giants and then Pittsburgh, and then they get their buy after that, uh, a lot of a 4 for 46.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this is obviously what's going to happen.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: When Tyler shook throws for 96 yards.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Tyler shook, I heard he might have,
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: messed up his non-throwing hand.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like there's a possibility, he brews fractured or broke his left hand.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: So something definitely to keep an eye on.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: It is his non-throwing hand so you could probably play through that, but it would still be a bit problematic, obviously.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: But no other major takeaways I don't believe.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: Jets, Browns, a fucking slotfest, 17 to 12, the Jets end up winning this one story.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: This game, I mean, Garrel Wilson was awesome, season all some player, Braille on Allen, eight in this one, 24 for one, 16 and a touchdown on the ground here.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_02]: This one was pretty easy to see coming, given the fact that that's
- 29:51[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, the Cleveland Browns are without both of their starting interior tackles on the defensive side of the ball in Mason Graham and Mike Hall.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, the offensive line for the jets had no problem.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_02]: Just moving dudes off the line of scrimmage here.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: So, we don't have word on, on Breeze Hall yet, you know, it's always going to be a multi-week injury.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_02]: They play against the New England Patriots next week.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_02]: So, that's a tough defense.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_02]: They're in Foxboro.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_02]: So, and even tougher matchup there, uh, will be a much tougher test than what they had against the Cleveland Browns.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: D-Line this week.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 30:17[SPEAKER_02]: While great to see against Braille and Allen, I still think I would look at him more as like a low-end RB2, if Breeze Hall is out next week.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_02]: But there's a possibility that Breeze Hall does return.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: Should be noted that Kenyan Siddiqu suffered a concussion in this one.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: On the flip side of things, Casey Concepcion.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: also suffered a concussion in this one.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_02]: So more than likely, both guys will end up missing next week.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we did just see Jamar Chase end up clearing protocol in a week.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: So it's definitely possible.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: But more likely than not, most guys miss one game after a concussion here.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Watson had a pretty miserable game to go six for 40 on the ground.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_02]: So he was like okay for fantasy but this was pretty bad weather game was not expecting much through the air for either side.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately for the Browns, they can get nothing going on the ground either.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: 14 for 44 for Quinchon Judkins.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: Concerning is that he ended up injuring his like ankle foot area was seen in a walking boot after the game.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: But I beg you.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_02]: I've been saying this for like two years now, three years now, like being in a walking boot.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: does not signify any sort of level of seriousness for an injury, you just have to think of what a walking boot is.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's literally just a very, it's just like cloud for it's a pillow for your foot to be on.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_02]: So like if I have a minor ankle injury after a game or like my foot is sore or something like I'm just going to ask for a walking boot.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: Why not?
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: Why would I walk in my like fucking hard rock shoes?
- 31:42[SPEAKER_02]: Just give me a walking boot.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_02]: So like being a walking boot does not,
- 31:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it can mean that you have a serious injury, but it without a doubt does not automatically mean you have a serious injury.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_02]: Also does not mean that Juggins doesn't have a serious injury, but I'm just saying just because he was seen in a walking boot does not mean that it's automatically like let's panic he's out for a prolonged period of time.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have to see.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_02]: So, Judkins.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, couldn't really get anything going on the ground in this when he's been into fishing even in his good game last week, like wasn't very efficient on the ground.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: So, would be a big hit here.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: They have for him Sanders behind him, who would get more work.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember if I saw this correctly or not, but he might have got banged up to let me do a quick Twitter search.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they'll use like Jaleel McLaughlin, but no one here is using them.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like he got banged up, but like we don't have Yeah, I don't know.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have to wait for some news on Reheem Sanders there, but I mean listen, we're not starting any Running back in Cleveland that is in Quinshaard, Juddkins, right now with Kasek and Sepsione out Den's up Austin shitty another good game for him through 46 in the touchdown seven targets tied for the team lead Isaiah Bonne stepped in wasn't very good, but one three for 74
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously not interested in starting anyone in the passing game outside Denzel boss and if case he conception is gone and held fan in, but again, I think this was kind of expected that we're going to see a shitty shitty passing game out of both of these teams.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: They're both bad passing offences and it was a bad weather game.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: Steelers and the cults.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: The cult's offense continues to look terrible and super stagnant.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: It was cool that they got Tyler Warren going here.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_02]: 7 for 83.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_02]: He even gets a little Tush push action there on the goline.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: Was it a Tush push?
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: Was it Wildcat?
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was, I think it was a Tush push.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: I can't actually remember, but I remember in scoring from the one yard line.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: So good to see him have a good game, but like everybody else was
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: booty in this game.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: Steelers, Rodgers, good statline.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: Most only wasn't him.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: Goes to 35, three touchdowns, Jalen Warren was a story of the game.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: 15 for 101 and a touchdown on the ground, a 50-yarder.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_02]: We had six for 87 and he touched down through the air.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: He brought an 80-yard crib call home very early in the game.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: And you knew it was like lights out.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_02]: One was going to go ballistic in this one because the cold Steve fences.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: so so so bad.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_02]: You can make a half continues to be one of the most inconsistent players in fantasy football.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_02]: After his big week last week he goes three for twelve this week.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_02]: It should be noted that obviously Michael Pittman Jr got sent to IR before this game.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: Now Roman Wilson messed up his finger or thumb one of his fingers and he's going to miss time.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_02]: Now they're rookie.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_02]: Day two pig, Jeremy Bernard, filled in really, really well for this one six for 80.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_02]: And apparently, Aaron Rodgers has been talking about for a while.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: So actually, think Jeremy Bernard as well as Pat Firemuth, 544, 2 touchdowns, uh, I think with all the injuries to their past catchers and Rodgers just thrown the ball a lot.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_02]: The Steelers just thrown the ball a lot, even in gamescripts were there up.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think guys like Firemuth and Jeremy Bernard are very, very much both pick up a bull, rosterable, usable infancy in good matchups.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: The Steelers play against Tampa Bay, the New Orleans, then Cleveland.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: So three definitely usable matchups for those types of guys if you're looking for some depth during your by weeks.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_02]: Now, with Rico Dowdoll,
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: He got in limited practices all week this week leading up to the game, so I thought he was going to play ends up in active in this one.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: And that leads to jail in the war and obviously going nuts, almost 200 yards, almost, you know, he had 22 touches, two touchdowns.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_02]: He's so good.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really know what to expect and Rico Dattle returns.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'd imagine in the first game back, it'll be mainly Jalen Warren, but I don't have confidence over the long run.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have confidence over the remainder of the season that it's gonna be Warren as like the featured back here.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_02]: I wish it was.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_02]: He's so good.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_02]: He's very much like,
- 35:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it feels like an Eccler situation.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like one of those just like, you know, he's undersized.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_02]: So you know, want to use him as a feature back, but every time he gets such as he's so efficient and he can be used on all three downs.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_02]: He's a good pass blocker.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_02]: He's a great pass catcher.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just let him ride, man.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_02]: I can't imagine that Rogers is not just going to bat for him in there.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: And especially with all these pass catchers down, like, just
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: He's so good.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so if I have him on my team, I feel great about it.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like, obviously, he'd love for me to go to be out fucking forever.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_02]: But he's going to come back.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to ruin things a little bit.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_02]: But I still think it's Jalen Warren show for the most part.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: Next up, Giants Commanders.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: We're not going to talk about the wacky ending.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_02]: We will just talk about fantasy related things.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_02]: James Winson ends up finishing strong.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_02]: 326 3 touchdowns.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: They tie 27 27 27.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of Giants fans were calling for him to be benched after the first half.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't blame him, but he scores 24 in the second half ends up getting into the tie there.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_02]: His arm still doesn't look great.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_02]: 54 attempts in this one.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: The Giants brand 82 plays on offense.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_02]: So in the same number of plays, which led to 20 targets from elite neighbors, 13 targets for Isaiah likely, just massive games for those two, the entire passing offense is basically just funneling through those two, and I will say like, Malik obviously got off to a slow start, which shouldn't have been unexpected for everybody, you know, just coming off the major injury, and everyone's like,
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he'll be so good by the second half.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: And then again, as soon as he actually starts slow, people are like, what's happening?
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, what's happening is exactly what you said was going to happen in the beginning of the year.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_02]: But now you can't face the music when it's actually happening.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_02]: And now he looks awesome again.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_02]: Does he look like his old self?
- 37:36[SPEAKER_02]: No, I think if you're watching the game, he still doesn't look like the old Malik neighbors yet.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: He's definitely getting back to form.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: I still worry about this offense.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: So I still have some major like systemic concerns about
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: the giants and milk neighbors going forward uh... like it was cool to see james throw fifty four times and him go three for twenty six or three go four three twenty six and three touchdowns i just i don't know
- 38:05[SPEAKER_02]: I made the trade video like two weeks ago a three weeks ago where I was like I'd be fine buying milk neighbors.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a strong take, but like I was not on the sell side.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_02]: I would say after these last couple weeks, I would be totally fine selling milk neighbors given that their their schedule gets.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_02]: much tougher down the line.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like right now, they've been on a streak of Tennessee, Arizona, Washington.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_02]: They get the Saints, but then they're at Houston, a by week at Philadelphia.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: They still have some easy matchups for sure, and they're fantasy playoff schedules great, but leading up to it.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: You have Philadelphia.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: Again, you have Jacksonville, San Francisco, they're at Seattle, Cleveland, but then you get Detroit in Dallas in week 16 and 17.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're going to hold onto it and get them for week 16, 17, that's obviously like the gold
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: Because of the systemic risk here, if James Winston continues to play the way he did in the first half against teams that are like, this is the Washington Commander's defense.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_02]: They're so, so bad too.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: When they play tougher defenses, I don't know.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like, they're definitely not ready to start JJ McCarthy, obviously, but maybe in a month they will be.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: And that scares me a little bit.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, I think there's, I think police find a whole non-trip you want to, but like I think you have to acknowledge the risks.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_02]: If you can get him off your team for someone that's very, very high end right now, I got no problem doing that.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_02]: On the flip side, Jane Daniels returns, looks fucking awesome, 9 for 103 and 2 touchdowns on the ground.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_02]: This is why you drafted him a fantasy football, JCM finally, which Jane Daniels back has a good game 11 free to any touchdown on the ground.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_02]: The receivers, we saw a terrible chlorine playing this one, even though he was very questionable leading up to it with a hamstring strain.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_02]: And uh, Stefan Diggs was out for this one of the hamstring strains.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: So Chica Concoco kind of stepped in for for 60 didn't have a great day from Antonio Williams three for 31, but Gene Daniels only threw four hundred and ninety nine yards took five sacks in this one.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_02]: Cam Skatobos kind of in scoop spooky hours right now.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's not catching passes had a fumble late at the end of the game right now.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: They're using Naji Harris.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_02]: They're using Thiron Tracee.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_02]: They're using those guys starting drives.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_02]: They're using them inside the ten yard line.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_02]: So like Skatobos the guy, but I don't know how optimistic I am about him going forward is anything more than like, you know, like a flex play.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: They get the same.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: So it should be a better matchup than they're at Houston again, and then they get the Biden.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: They're at Philly.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_02]: So like, could be a
- 40:28[SPEAKER_02]: Next up, we got the Broncos in the Chargers, the Broncos win 23-2-17, another poor showing by pretty much every single player in this game.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: Outside of JK Dobbins finally had a good game.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_02]: But next those for a buck 23 in a touchdown.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_02]: Doesn't add much on the ground.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: Jalen Wattel has another floor game of two for 19.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: Sutton gets in the end zone, but only goes two for 18.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody else stinks, RJ Harvey.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: You know, has 10 catches the game and then goes for zero this game.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: Don't really know what to tell you.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: It was a Sean Payton apparently taken back over play calling duties didn't really seem to affect anything on the other side of the ball.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_02]: the mess for the chargers continues own five.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_02]: Herbert was awful in this game.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_02]: The chargers were awful in this game.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: The offensive line was awful in this game.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how much longer Mike McDonald has legitimately.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_02]: Um, they play at Kansas City next week.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_02]: Probably going to get their fucking asses beat.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: They have a buy.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: Then they're at the Rams the week after that.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_02]: Then they're playing against Houston.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: Then they're at Baltimore.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like I just, I don't know.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they sneak
- 41:34[SPEAKER_02]: There's a real chance they start on a nine, um, and the reality of the situation is Mike McDonald's hasn't ran a good offense in like three years, you know, everybody wants to just be like, oh, two of socks, two of socks, two of socks, yes, but like McDonald's hasn't been able to do a fucking thing since the league started playing more shell cover two high defenses.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like once they started doing that, he was unable to do anything besides check the ball off to the Devon HN in Miami.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's problems all around Herbert, clearly has like the yips, he does not trust his offensive line, he's not trust his weapons, you had mostly offensive line out for this game or Sean Slater, Joe Alt, I think Joe Alt has a good chance to return either this week or after their buy or Sean Slater's dealing with the high ankle sprain, so you know, a little bit tough to put a diagnosis on him, Latin Maconkey ended up being active for this game.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: but didn't play it all, which was what most of the reports were saying, which is weird though, because most of the time when players are active, you know, there were people saying, like, oh, it was just because they had to have a certain amount, I don't fucking know, whatever.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_02]: He was active, didn't play it all.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_02]: So he's clearly still dealing with an injury if you don't play at all.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_02]: In his absence, Charlie Colar was their leading receiver three for 37.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: The backfield continues to be an absolute fucking mess.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: We are still completely unsure if a Marine Hampton is good at football whatsoever.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_02]: He definitely looks good at football when you just look at him.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_02]: When you get him on the football field, still undecided.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, if a doll rips off a beautiful 42-yard touchdown run, he goes eight for 57 and a touchdown.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: We look at the snap counts between the three running backs in LA.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_02]: We have key in Mitchell 33% come on even all 41% no more in Hampton 32% So yeah, I mean, it's as bad as it gets for a more in Hampton right now and the schedule does not ease up at all so Yeah, I'm just not really looking forward to starting him anywhere.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have them anywhere, but like I wouldn't be starting him anywhere if I did
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: Trehara's leaves his game with a hamstring injury should also be noted, um, so now they're down to like their fifth receiver.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, maybe lad is back next week and actually plays and runs routes, but it's, yeah, it's as bad as it gets.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, also Justin Herbert suffered an ankle injury at the end of the game.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: I've heard reports that there's possibility it's a high ankle spring.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_02]: So Herbert, this was something I predicted was like when the offensive line
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: Just fell apart last year.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: He ran the ball a ton and that ended up like saving his fantasy games and that ended up happening in this one because he's just got a run for his life But if he is a high ankle sprain one you might miss time Two if he does not miss time then he's not gonna be able to run on that so Yeah, like I don't know what the line is versus the chiefs in Kansas City.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's got to be like 10 points at minimum But it's probably not big enough.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: Let me check right now
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's only eight points.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we finna lay that.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, moving on to the lines and the Cardinals, the lines may have 45 points.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: Beat the Cardinals 45 to 21 Jared Goff, 271 and 3 touchdowns.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: Jamir Gibbs and other insane day, 200 total yards, 30 touches, two more touchdowns, par for the course on pace to be one of the best fantasy players in the history of
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: the game.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_02]: Y'all that had the number one overall picture.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's got a free playoff spot basically by having junior gifts in Y'all lineup.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_02]: The portal looks great.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm on rod is not going in the end zone, but six for 69.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_02]: I guess you'll take that.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: James Williams ends up getting home twice.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_02]: So all the players that you needed to hit outside of I'm on rod ceiling scorched for you.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_02]: On the flip side, Jacobi passes the ball 47 times, 292-3 touchdowns.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: Now they move off of Marvin Harrison Jr., so he was not active in this game, and Kendrick Boren ends up as their leading receiver, 5 for 70 on eight targets.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_02]: He had the really big week one, and now he's probably going to run the second most routes among receivers.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_02]: We'll actually check that out real quick for you.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: But I think he's a decent pick up in PPR leagues.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so he only ran 61% of the route.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_02]: Salem Brooks was the other outside receiver kind of came out of nowhere, seeing what Reggie Virgil, whoever that is.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but yeah, there's spreading the ball around a lot of your Higgins, Reggie Virgil.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_02]: Michael Wilson, pretty disappointing day.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_02]: We expected him to have a blowup game against the line secondary that just lets up everything here.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and no modern hours in junior just didn't happen, unfortunately, but much brighter days ahead.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: Tray McBride gets home in garbage time, but Kendrick Bourne would be like the,
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like the Malik Washington pick up for me, that being said, this was against Detroit Lions, Arizona plays the Rams next week, then Denver asked to that.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_02]: They get Dallas in week eight, but then they're Seattle Rams, Kansas City.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: So very tough, uh, slate of games in five of the next six weeks.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: Backfield, still a mess.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_02]: Jeremiah, I love 12 for 22.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_02]: Tell us you're three, four, seven, very hard to figure out the situation right now.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: We just know that they're not a good team, and they're going to be playing against very tough defenses going forward.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_02]: So hard to look at.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: Hard to look at Jeremiah loves anything, but a low end RB2 right now with like a very very wide range of outcomes on a weekly basis.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: 49ers and the c-hawks the 49ers escape with a win here 32 to 29 they move to 5 and though Brock party continues to play wonderfully crochet McAfrey gets home in this one not saying the ceiling games that we expect from a calf or he's just been like an okay kind of bottom of the barrel rb1 this year which is kind of surprising given that he's healthy given that he's playing given that all the weapons
- 47:20[SPEAKER_02]: In San Francisco, a hurt right now, uh, speaking of Mike Evans is a fucking dog man, 7 for 113 to touch down despite playing through these rib fractures.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: George Kittle, disappointing day, 5 for 24, but two more injuries to the whiter severs, how out here in San Francisco.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: We got Dvo Samuel, hamstring injury.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: Jacob Cowling, not exactly sure what he did, I know he's hurt though too, and that matters because like they're already without most of their starting whiter severs.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so it's going to be more Mike Evans is going to be more George Kittle for any cooks gotten here for a touchdown.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_02]: So he's going to start running more routes.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's a like viable desperate pickup if you need.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_02]: They play Washington and then add Atlanta and then after their buy, they get the Raiders and then Dallas.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: So like, you know, you could do worse, I think, um, but if you have Debo, I would expect him to miss probably multiple weeks with this hamstring strain, but my
- 48:13[SPEAKER_02]: And on the flip side, we have Donald struggles again, man.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: He just not look very good.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_02]: Takes five sacks, those two picks.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: They're running backs and getting nothing going on the ground.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: Amanda Wilson with another 20 carries in this one, 61 in a touchdown, but he loses a fumble, George Lani fumbles the ball twice, loses one of them.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_02]: Judarian price, obviously, still on IR is extra, but Nate will not return from his pup stay in week six.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: So, um, yeah, I mean, not a great spot for any other running backs there.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think Emmanuel Wilson will continue to see 20 touches the game.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_02]: So he's like a fine RB2 for you until either Sharbene or Jderian Price comes back.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_02]: JSN, five or one or two in a touchdown is touchdown was insane.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_02]: He got rolled up or is ankle kind of like tweaked a little bit on one of his big plays.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_02]: And he went to the sideline, got it taped up, but from what I everything I've heard, like obviously played through afterwards, but sometimes those things swell up afterwards, luckily is a very mild inversion ankle sprain, which is something that he should be able to probably be limited throughout practice this week, but get some rehab in, um, tape it up, be...
- 49:22[SPEAKER_02]: You know, 95% of the way there to go on Thursday night will have to see if Patrick's are 10 and or Riley Moss come back for Denver because they both missed this Sunday's game.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_02]: If they're both out, wheels up again for Jackson Smith and Jigba.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_02]: No one else who could really trust in this offense, unfortunately.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_02]: And we have the heartbreak son and have football game where the Ravens took us out 30 to 23 in over time.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_02]: Tyler Huntley just gets the game done for them.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_02]: Those were two touchdowns as well as rushes for one Derek Henry 24 for a bucko 2 on the ground.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_02]: Also adds a receiving touchdown could add two rushing touchdowns.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_02]: two additional rushing touchdowns.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: It got tackled at the one yard line twice, just as Hill had some big plays in this one.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_02]: Zafelowers 8 for 53 as well as a rushing attempt of 13 yard.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: So not a huge day, but you'll take 14, 15 out of Zafelowers.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's kind of like what is projection is when Tyler Huntley is in the game here.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just a relatively slow game out of both teams, you know, they, they, they both wanted to establish around with their running backs, unsurprisingly, and just kind of win the game that way.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Pentex got hurt, hurt his ribs did not play in over time.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_02]: It was too uh, we threw the pick to end the game.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Pentex said, you know, they just started a
- 50:38[SPEAKER_02]: hurt a little bit more as the game progressed, or after he went out, he said if they got the ball first and over time, he probably would have played through it, but as he sat there colder and colder and colder and just started to hurt more.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: So what to see what the MRI results are for Michael Panics, they place Chicago at home next week, possibly with Caleb Williams returning.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_02]: So it is a good spot to have Panics there for Drake London to obviously fucking eats with him seven for one 18, 11 targets.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_01]: on just 32 attempts there.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: So monster target chair as always, B. John 17 for 86, 4 for 32 to the air.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: So just one of his, you know, more floor games, I guess you could say 15, 16 fantasy points.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_02]: PPR, much better days.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, ahead for B. John Robin, Stene, Mark Andrews, I cannot believe they still employ that man.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: He's like singlehandedly trying to lose them games.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think that is it's in terms of injuries and recaps and all that kind of stuff.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you guys for hanging out with me today.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_02]: We are just short of an hour.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: We have four teams on by next week, as I said, we have 1,000 people in here, but only 100 thumbs up.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_02]: is held at this respectful.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: So hit the button that looks like this.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: If you are in here and did not, yet do so.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to be a part of these recaps going forward, of course, subscribe to the channel, hit the notification button.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: Because we go live every Monday, recapping every game around this time, noon, 1, 2pm Eastern time.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I will see you all over the next few days for waiver wire and rankings and all that good stuff.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_02]: Love y'all.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_02]: Smoochies.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
