- 0:04Speaker 1: and Matt Flynn say.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hester and Hester.
- 0:07Speaker 1: From carrying each other to and Natty to carrying each
- 0:12Speaker 1: other on the air Control live from the Mercedes Benz
- 0:19Speaker 1: Baton Rouge Studio.
- 0:21Speaker 3: It's off the bench, all right, welcome back in our
- 0:42Speaker 3: number three of ot B here on this Monday morning.
- 0:47Speaker 4: It is moving right along.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Uh so much so that we had like winners that
- 0:52Speaker 5: we wanted to get to that we spent multiple statements.
- 0:55Speaker 5: We hadn't even gotten there yet. We've got l s
- 0:57Speaker 5: U kind of training camp to talk about as it
- 1:00Speaker 5: starts this week. We've talked a little Saints training camp.
- 1:03Speaker 5: We've got our guy Devin snow aka hold the Mayo
- 1:06Speaker 5: set to join us. Alandra, I know you had multiple
- 1:09Speaker 5: weekend winners. I have one more as well, but I
- 1:11Speaker 5: want to turn it over to you.
- 1:13Speaker 6: Yeah, so I have a couple of more.
- 1:15Speaker 2: One of the other ones that's nonsports related. We'll hit
- 1:19Speaker 2: that one real quick, Taylor, I put the video in
- 1:21Speaker 2: the doc.
- 1:22Speaker 7: Uh.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I do need audio for this one. So if y'all remember, yeah,
- 1:26Speaker 2: that one. If y'all remember a few weeks ago or
- 1:28Speaker 2: maybe a couple of weeks ago. Time doesn't exist to
- 1:30Speaker 2: me anymore. But that whole Coldplay thing happened where the CEO,
- 1:36Speaker 2: the Astronomer CEO, and the HR lady that he apparently
- 1:41Speaker 2: allegedly was having an affair with.
- 1:43Speaker 6: There, I mean, they were just they werenudling. They went viral. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 6: they're team building.
- 1:50Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:51Speaker 5: She has HR well is HR with my.
- 1:55Speaker 4: High to.
- 2:00Speaker 2: So I love a good marketing and I gotta give
- 2:03Speaker 2: a shout out to our guy Nookie.
- 2:05Speaker 6: He sent this to me over the weekend.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I love a good marketing strategy. And the Astronomer social
- 2:13Speaker 2: media team hired Gwyneth Paltrow, who is Chris Martin from
- 2:19Speaker 2: Coldplay's ex wife. There's some people on the internet I
- 2:22Speaker 2: discovered this weekend that did not know that they were together,
- 2:26Speaker 2: And I'm like, how can we forget the conscious uncoupling,
- 2:29Speaker 2: like the fact that they called it that.
- 2:31Speaker 6: How can we forget that they named their kid Apple?
- 2:34Speaker 6: But anyway, true, Gwyneth did.
- 2:37Speaker 2: A little ad for Astronomer, and I don't think she
- 2:40Speaker 2: cusses in this, but we're gonna play like a little
- 2:44Speaker 2: a little bit of it because.
- 2:44Speaker 4: If she does, we'll cut it off.
- 2:46Speaker 7: Yeah, Thank you for your interest in Astronomer. Hi, I'm
- 2:51Speaker 7: Gwyneth Paltrow. I've been hired on a very temporary basis
- 2:55Speaker 7: to speak on behalf of the three hundred plus employees
- 2:58Speaker 7: at Astronomer. Astronomer has gotten a lot of questions over
- 3:02Speaker 7: the last few days, and they wanted me to answer
- 3:04Speaker 7: the most common ones. Yes, Astronomer is the best place
- 3:10Speaker 7: to run APATCHE airflow, unifying the experience of running data
- 3:14Speaker 7: mL and AI pipelines at scale. We've been thrilled so
- 3:18Speaker 7: many people have a newfound interest in data workflow automation.
- 3:22Speaker 7: As for the other questions we've received, Yes, there is
- 3:28Speaker 7: still room available at our Beyond Analytics event in September.
- 3:32Speaker 7: We will now be returning to what we do best,
- 3:34Speaker 7: delivering game changing results for our customers. Thank you for
- 3:38Speaker 7: your interest in Astronomer.
- 3:42Speaker 6: I mean that is just genius.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I love that so much, and you know way to
- 3:47Speaker 2: take advantage of this viral moment that you had. So
- 3:52Speaker 2: I just got to give a weekend winner to the
- 3:53Speaker 2: social media team and the marketing team of Astronomer because
- 3:57Speaker 2: that is just so great.
- 3:58Speaker 6: I love that service.
- 4:00Speaker 8: Self awareness is like the only way to survive a situation. Own,
- 4:04Speaker 8: you gotta own it, lean into it.
- 4:06Speaker 9: They type up the actual question and they're like, we're
- 4:08Speaker 9: not answering any questions. We're gonna completely deflect. So open
- 4:12Speaker 9: about that. That was great.
- 4:13Speaker 2: So if you were listening on the radio, they were
- 4:14Speaker 2: putting up the questions up on the screen, and one
- 4:17Speaker 2: of the questions was what the actual f and then
- 4:20Speaker 2: she was like, yes, we do have best data workflow.
- 4:23Speaker 2: And then the other question was like, how is your
- 4:25Speaker 2: social media manager doing? And then that's when she talked
- 4:28Speaker 2: about the other thing. So, yeah, it's just so well done.
- 4:31Speaker 4: I love it well, very very well done, and I
- 4:34Speaker 4: think not how you wanted it to happen.
- 4:37Speaker 5: But none of us had heard of that company ever ever,
- 4:40Speaker 5: nor would we have ever heard of that company, and
- 4:43Speaker 5: now everybody knows that company.
- 4:45Speaker 8: Maybe they're playing chess and we're all playing checkers.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Yeah, they just are you saying that the CEO ahead
- 4:50Speaker 5: of HR kind of fell on the knife.
- 4:52Speaker 6: I love this conspiracy theory.
- 4:53Speaker 8: Maybe Hey, I know y'all are wanting to step down anyway,
- 4:57Speaker 8: so let's do this. Yeah little on the back en.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Okay, it worked?
- 5:03Speaker 9: How would worked?
- 5:04Speaker 4: It worked?
- 5:05Speaker 8: All right?
- 5:05Speaker 5: I'll go one then Elandra. I think you've got some more,
- 5:07Speaker 5: but weekend winner. So Madden twenty six came out with
- 5:12Speaker 5: their ninety nine club, right, all the players that are
- 5:15Speaker 5: ninety nine, it's very exclusive, very rare. Only seven, only
- 5:19Speaker 5: seven players this year. You've got Lane Johnson offensive lineman
- 5:24Speaker 5: for the Philadelphia Eagles, Lamar Jackson quarterback of course for
- 5:27Speaker 5: the Ravens. You've got Saquon Barkley running back for the Eagles.
- 5:31Speaker 5: You've got Josh Allen quarterback for the Bills. You've got
- 5:33Speaker 5: Miles Garrett edge rusher for the Browns. And then you've
- 5:37Speaker 5: got Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson. Sure, if there was
- 5:41Speaker 5: any doubt, who's you know, the true wide receiver.
- 5:45Speaker 4: You was, I think this puts it to rest.
- 5:47Speaker 5: It is LSU because you also have elite neighbors and
- 5:50Speaker 5: Brian Thomas Junior, amongst others.
- 5:53Speaker 4: LSU has that title.
- 5:54Speaker 5: You have only two receivers with the entire game that
- 5:57Speaker 5: are ninety nine, and they both went Tallishoe.
- 6:00Speaker 8: In Bengals history. To get jo when I was filling
- 6:05Speaker 8: in for you guys the Monday following SEC Media Day,
- 6:09Speaker 8: so last Monday, I did a little segment kind of
- 6:12Speaker 8: on this but a little bit different.
- 6:14Speaker 9: So you've seen like NFL coaches and execs have been
- 6:17Speaker 9: ranking like top ten players per position, three LSU wide
- 6:21Speaker 9: receivers in the top ten, Chase Jefferson, elite neighbors. You
- 6:25Speaker 9: could argue Brian Thomas could be there.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Too, Brian Thomas Junior one NFL dot Com Rookie Offensive
- 6:31Speaker 5: Player of the Year.
- 6:32Speaker 9: Well, and the thing was, like you hear wide receiver,
- 6:34Speaker 9: you it's always LSU House State Alabama, Ohio State had
- 6:38Speaker 9: one guy. Alabama had zero ls. You had three in
- 6:40Speaker 9: the top ten. And that's it. It's done.
- 6:43Speaker 8: I could drop this, mic, I would, well, Mom will
- 6:45Speaker 8: drop if you give it long enough.
- 6:47Speaker 4: It's true. So I hadn't gone to good Wood. See too.
- 6:51Speaker 2: My last weekend winners got to give a shout out
- 6:55Speaker 2: to the twenty twenty five Baseball Hall of Fame, and
- 6:59Speaker 2: each row shout out each Heiro, shout out C. C. Sabbathia,
- 7:02Speaker 2: Billy Wagner, Dave Parker, and Richard Allen, all well deserved.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Of course, each hero we all know was one away
- 7:10Speaker 2: from being unanimously inducted. And we were talking about this.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Mo Rivera is the only other person.
- 7:15Speaker 5: That, yeah, that writer, just like referees when they blow
- 7:20Speaker 5: a call. Yeah, you should have to get up in
- 7:21Speaker 5: front of his We need to publicly shame him.
- 7:24Speaker 2: It was like he probably just wanted to contrarian take,
- 7:27Speaker 2: you know, like one of those things, like everybody's going
- 7:30Speaker 2: to vote for each hero, so I'm not going to
- 7:31Speaker 2: vote for him, but we don't have I was gonna
- 7:34Speaker 2: play the video, but we don't have to. So each Heiro,
- 7:37Speaker 2: I want to give like a specific we can winner
- 7:39Speaker 2: to him though, because this is really funny, he acknowledged
- 7:42Speaker 2: the fact that one of them didn't vote for him,
- 7:45Speaker 2: and he was like, three thousand hits or two hundred
- 7:48Speaker 2: and sixty two hits in one season are achievements recognized
- 7:50Speaker 2: by the writers.
- 7:51Speaker 6: Well all but one of you. So love that for
- 7:54Speaker 6: each Heiro and.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Way to take a little jab at the one person
- 7:59Speaker 2: that didn't vote.
- 8:00Speaker 4: A good speech. I don't know if y'all watch it.
- 8:01Speaker 5: He's like in twenty fifteen, the Miami Marlins called me.
- 8:04Speaker 5: I gotta be honest, I'd never heard of them before
- 8:06Speaker 5: before they called me.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I think he wants to like go into stand I
- 8:10Speaker 2: mean I feel like he wants to go into stand up.
- 8:13Speaker 6: Really, it was a great speech.
- 8:14Speaker 4: It was a great speech. Yeah, that was really well done.
- 8:16Speaker 2: And I love CC Sabathia. He is one of my favorite.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Like it's no Rivera.
- 8:20Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 8:21Speaker 2: CC Sabathia is awesome, So I'm happy for him as well.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Billy Wagner from the Astros.
- 8:27Speaker 5: Yeah, even like a year with the Braves, like he
- 8:29Speaker 5: had a nice career.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 2: All of these are so well deserved, and I really
- 8:33Speaker 2: wish Idro would have been another unanimous one.
- 8:35Speaker 6: But is what it is.
- 8:37Speaker 9: We were talking about it the other day, like it's
- 8:39Speaker 9: it's been like people have been open about like we
- 8:42Speaker 9: don't think anybody deserves to be unanimous like that. That's
- 8:44Speaker 9: kind of like a thing with these with these baseball
- 8:46Speaker 9: writers and these Hall of Fame voters. I don't really
- 8:49Speaker 9: understand that because like basketball and football, you have unanimous
- 8:52Speaker 9: first bellot all the time. Yeah, like what makes you
- 8:55Speaker 9: so high and mighty? It makes baseball so special that
- 8:57Speaker 9: it's like nobody deserves to be unanimous. That shows how
- 9:01Speaker 9: good Mariano Rivera is that they actually backtracked on that
- 9:04Speaker 9: a little bit. I have one more weekend loser. Niko
- 9:10Speaker 9: Yamaliavo my favorite college quarterback to make fun of that's
- 9:14Speaker 9: my guy. So look, we know that he was getting
- 9:17Speaker 9: paid a little over two million a year, and reports
- 9:20Speaker 9: came out he told Tennessee he wanted four million a year. Well,
- 9:23Speaker 9: then a report came out that he had reached out
- 9:26Speaker 9: to Miami, Ole, Miss, Oregon, all the big time spenders,
- 9:29Speaker 9: saying hey, will you pay us this? Ultimately he makes
- 9:32Speaker 9: less money goes to UCLA. Well, he was talking to
- 9:35Speaker 9: media days and he said, my driving factor to coming
- 9:39Speaker 9: back home was my family. That's not true, because you
- 9:43Speaker 9: didn't want to go to UCLA. You reached out the
- 9:45Speaker 9: three or four other schools before that, you reached out
- 9:48Speaker 9: to Oregon, you reached out to Miami, you demanded more
- 9:51Speaker 9: money from Tennessee, all of that before going to UCLA. Like,
- 9:54Speaker 9: that's a lie. He just got up. There's like, well,
- 9:57Speaker 9: you know, I wanted to come home because of my family,
- 10:00Speaker 9: My big, big family. Guy is old Nico all of
- 10:02Speaker 9: a sudden, don't don't care about the four million a year.
- 10:05Speaker 9: I just want to be closer to the fam. That
- 10:07Speaker 9: that's a lot. Like shut up, Nico, go away, just.
- 10:10Speaker 8: Own it, right, I mean professional football players. You got
- 10:12Speaker 8: NFL guys, Yeah, we get it. You take and it's okay.
- 10:16Speaker 8: It's okay to sign somewhere for money. It's great.
- 10:19Speaker 9: You know what this reminds me of?
- 10:20Speaker 5: Yeah, like yeah, it comes with criticism.
- 10:25Speaker 4: It's fine, like it does.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Like it's like, how many times is a guy NFL,
- 10:30Speaker 5: they are NBA, MLB, n HL, whatever, ML's I give
- 10:33Speaker 5: you a shut up. He signed somewhere else, and you're like,
- 10:36Speaker 5: I hate that guy because he signed for more money.
- 10:38Speaker 5: He didn't stay loyal. That happens all the time. You
- 10:41Speaker 5: got the money, but just own it.
- 10:42Speaker 9: Michael Parsons did I mean not my compartment. He hadn't
- 10:45Speaker 9: got paid. Miles it. Miles Garrett did this when he
- 10:49Speaker 9: was saying, you know, I haven't re signed yet. I
- 10:52Speaker 9: want to go play for a contender and win a
- 10:54Speaker 9: Super Bowl. And he re signs with Cleveland, He's like, oh, oh, well,
- 10:58Speaker 9: you know, I just I still you want to hear yeah, well,
- 11:02Speaker 9: they made you the highest feedin quarterback, Like it's fine,
- 11:04Speaker 9: take the money if you want, but like, don't don't
- 11:08Speaker 9: blow smoke. Like we know what's going on. It's fine,
- 11:10Speaker 9: but and I just I didn't like it.
- 11:14Speaker 8: It's kind of like when the uh, the all the
- 11:16Speaker 8: live golfers went over and they were saying, because it's
- 11:19Speaker 8: gonna it's good for the game, gonna grow the game,
- 11:21Speaker 8: not that they can hundred million dollars. Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 9: I mean, look, if somebody paid me a hundred million dollars.
- 11:25Speaker 8: I'm going until Brooks Cap go is just like, yeah, yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 8: I did it. It's a lot of money, paid me
- 11:30Speaker 8: a lot of money. Yeah, it's fine. Respect.
- 11:34Speaker 5: Yeah, and I think that is completely fine to do that.
- 11:37Speaker 5: Just know it's gonna come with some backline. But you
- 11:41Speaker 5: did it. You said your family up.
- 11:44Speaker 8: Don't you be out there listening to this and being
- 11:46Speaker 8: all hypocritical. You do it too. Yeah, I'm talking to you.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Who you you.
- 11:56Speaker 8: That's hypocrites? Say no, you should want to win championship.
- 12:00Speaker 4: All right, let's go ahead, U c l A. Let's no.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Actually, before we take a break, I want to remind

- 14:00Speaker 1: only champions.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Can all right, welcome back here in OTV one of
- 14:19Speaker 5: four five ESPN Baton Rouge. The power I think is
- 14:22Speaker 5: fully back on in this place. They're trying to hold
- 14:25Speaker 5: the man down. They're trying to hold our guy, Devin
- 14:27Speaker 5: snow aka hold the Mayo down. I don't know how,
- 14:30Speaker 5: but I'm sure Cox somehow got into the power grid.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Even though they don't do electricity, they do internet. I'm
- 14:36Speaker 5: sure they messed it up for everybody involved. But we
- 14:38Speaker 5: got dead. They can't hold you down.
- 14:41Speaker 10: Yeah, no, what was that song? Just now? Bro? What
- 14:44Speaker 10: in the hour apostyle? Was that?
- 14:46Speaker 7: That was.
- 14:48Speaker 11: Jesus?
- 14:50Speaker 2: That's more like Twilight soundtrack that I was doing, Like
- 14:54Speaker 2: the baseball scene in Twilight.
- 14:56Speaker 6: That's a song that playing.
- 14:57Speaker 4: In the back.
- 14:58Speaker 11: Okay, it's a good movie, actually it is.
- 15:02Speaker 10: I like that not a great song, just not a
- 15:05Speaker 10: great song.
- 15:05Speaker 6: I disagree with both of you.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Davi, did you shop there?
- 15:08Speaker 5: It feels like like that was a core memory for you.
- 15:10Speaker 10: No, no, no, that was everybody from Kenna went to Aracon.
- 15:19Speaker 5: All right, So like I mean true circle here, like
- 15:21Speaker 5: you would find me in an Abercrombie or a Hollister
- 15:24Speaker 5: back in the day.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Look, it is what it is. What about you?
- 15:26Speaker 5: Where are you going to find a young Devin Snow
- 15:29Speaker 5: And he was like fifteen to seventeen.
- 15:32Speaker 4: He was looking for a fresh fit.
- 15:34Speaker 10: Okay, easy, So Abercrombie house, that's two of them. I
- 15:37Speaker 10: mean American Eagle for jeans. But also, you know, I
- 15:41Speaker 10: was a while dude, so I was in spenses as well,
- 15:44Speaker 10: and then I was also in sports Avenue because I
- 15:47Speaker 10: used to love to buy jersey.
- 15:49Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying that sports Avenue, So yeah, yeah,
- 15:55Speaker 5: what about that?
- 15:56Speaker 8: What about cologne? We've we've had this discussion. We used
- 15:58Speaker 8: to wear like cool water or Curve Yeah, Curve yeah,
- 16:03Speaker 8: I mean Eric, let's be honest.
- 16:06Speaker 10: Fis from abercro Humdi. I mean, I know it was
- 16:09Speaker 10: super popular and it was talked about a lot then,
- 16:11Speaker 10: but I don't think we talk about it enough now.
- 16:13Speaker 10: I mean, I truly believe you could throw on Fis
- 16:16Speaker 10: right now, and you know it's been long enough to
- 16:19Speaker 10: where maybe people forgot to wear The first comment would
- 16:21Speaker 10: be like, Wow, what a cologne. You know what I'm saying.
- 16:24Speaker 10: But Fias was a great cologne.
- 16:26Speaker 5: Dude, timeless, Like I don't know if this is for everybody,
- 16:30Speaker 5: but like for me, Like I think it's like the
- 16:33Speaker 5: colone my dad used to wear, because like it was
- 16:35Speaker 5: like that's the first experience that I had, like trying
- 16:38Speaker 5: to smell like a grown up. It's like going in
- 16:39Speaker 5: and my dad had Calvin Klein obsession. Like if I
- 16:43Speaker 5: smell that to this day, like I immediately think of
- 16:45Speaker 5: my dad, Like did you ever have to sneak in
- 16:47Speaker 5: their dev and try to smell good in middle school?
- 16:49Speaker 4: And you had to steal your dad's Colonne?
- 16:52Speaker 10: Wasn't my dad's. I don't even know if my dad
- 16:53Speaker 10: will cologne. But I know my grandpa, you know he
- 16:56Speaker 10: loved brute. I mean they buried my grandpa with a
- 17:00Speaker 10: bottle of fruit. You know what I'm saying, No doubt.
- 17:03Speaker 10: I bet you could still smell it at the grave
- 17:05Speaker 10: right now. Some good stuff.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Huh oh, no question. Uh. Dev.
- 17:13Speaker 5: I know you've you've gone to training camp for the
- 17:15Speaker 5: New Orleans Saints. I'm headed there on Wednesday, looking forward
- 17:18Speaker 5: to getting kind of, you know, my own eyes on
- 17:21Speaker 5: the quarterback battle Spencer Ratler Tyler shuck.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Uh.
- 17:25Speaker 5: I know you were there a day they had a
- 17:27Speaker 5: training camp fight, which is a story and a tale
- 17:29Speaker 5: as old as time, like you got to have some
- 17:31Speaker 5: of those.
- 17:31Speaker 4: So how was your day at Saints Camp?
- 17:34Speaker 10: Dude? It was It was good, man. The only thing
- 17:37Speaker 10: that kind of stopped me and kind of put me
- 17:39Speaker 10: in a daze was that was the same morning that
- 17:41Speaker 10: Hulk Cogan died. So like, you just heard everybody around
- 17:44Speaker 10: you talking about that, and I don't know, I just
- 17:47Speaker 10: kind of got thrown off by that. But anyway, yeah,
- 17:49Speaker 10: I mean, not the most impressive practice offensive. I can
- 17:53Speaker 10: tell you that it looked like, dude, it looked like
- 17:56Speaker 10: they got a long way to go. That red zone
- 17:58Speaker 10: offense was who I mean, dude, you had three false
- 18:02Speaker 10: starts then the fight. I don't think any quarterback really
- 18:07Speaker 10: looked great that day, and everybody kind of looked mid,
- 18:11Speaker 10: which I think is what we're dealing with. Let's just
- 18:12Speaker 10: be honest here, let's just put it out on the plate.
- 18:15Speaker 10: Were dealing with three mid quarterbacks, dude. It's just like,
- 18:19Speaker 10: that's that's what it is, man, And hopefully one can
- 18:22Speaker 10: be a little better than mid and and get us
- 18:24Speaker 10: a few winds. But that's what it looks like right now.
- 18:27Speaker 10: I mean, Spencer Rattley had that day last week when
- 18:30Speaker 10: he went ten to ten. I'm still on the train
- 18:32Speaker 10: of Spencer Ratle is gonna wind up being the starting
- 18:35Speaker 10: quarterback for Game one. But yeah, I mean the day
- 18:40Speaker 10: that I went Jay Kna looked the best. But we've
- 18:43Speaker 10: seen this story before.
- 18:47Speaker 8: I think you're the you might be the first person
- 18:49Speaker 8: to actually say it out loud about you know, it's
- 18:52Speaker 8: not not anything positive about the quarterbacks. All we've been
- 18:54Speaker 8: here and from from folks at Camp's they had and
- 18:57Speaker 8: looking good. They've completed this many passes and I can
- 19:00Speaker 8: tell you, like red zone is like a really hard
- 19:03Speaker 8: day for the offensive. Red zone install periods usually never
- 19:07Speaker 8: looks good for the offense. You got those days sometimes
- 19:09Speaker 8: like they're depending on what the install is. But like,
- 19:12Speaker 8: but just from like an optics perspective, them throwing the ball,
- 19:16Speaker 8: how are they? I mean do they does anybody stick
- 19:19Speaker 8: out like talent wise?
- 19:21Speaker 10: I mean, if you're talking about like actually slaying the ball,
- 19:23Speaker 10: I mean, the only one that's really looks so other
- 19:26Speaker 10: than that one day from Rattle at ten to ten,
- 19:28Speaker 10: I mean, the only one that really looks solid. I
- 19:29Speaker 10: mean's Jay Kym dude and which is you know, like
- 19:33Speaker 10: I said, we've seen this before, but it's just under
- 19:35Speaker 10: the bright lights. We can't forget how Jay Cane looked
- 19:39Speaker 10: under the bright lights until he shows us something. It
- 19:43Speaker 10: would it would take a miracle, a miracle performance by
- 19:47Speaker 10: Jay Kane and Fuss to be like, okay, we'll forget
- 19:49Speaker 10: about it. You know, Tyler Shark, I'm seeing a lot
- 19:52Speaker 10: of check dams. He's a young quarterback, rookie, you know,
- 19:54Speaker 10: seeing a lot of check dams. But also at the
- 19:56Speaker 10: same time, I'm seeing a lot of throwaways from him
- 19:58Speaker 10: and rattle, a lot of Derek carthrow And you hate
- 20:01Speaker 10: to see it, you really do.
- 20:02Speaker 4: I hate to see anything related to Derek Carr.
- 20:05Speaker 5: Yeah, you don't want it to be in the same
- 20:08Speaker 5: area code, zip code nothing with Derek Carr. So look,
- 20:12Speaker 5: but you know the problem is, Derek Carr was a
- 20:14Speaker 5: very veteran quarterback. That's a young quarterback, and so maybe
- 20:17Speaker 5: that gets fixed there. I mean, dev I don't know
- 20:21Speaker 5: if you heard the other day, but we're breaking down
- 20:22Speaker 5: the NFC South. According to ESPN dot Com and the
- 20:26Speaker 5: rosters in the NFC South, Tampa Bay came in at twelve,
- 20:29Speaker 5: Atlanta came in at twenty six. Carolina came in at
- 20:32Speaker 5: thirty and the Saints for thirty second dead last as
- 20:35Speaker 5: far as what they had on the roster there in
- 20:38Speaker 5: New Orleans. So it gives you a couple of things,
- 20:40Speaker 5: Like on the negative side, you've got the worst roster
- 20:43Speaker 5: according to some ESPN experts, But on the other like
- 20:45Speaker 5: the NFC South kind of sucks in general, so maybe
- 20:48Speaker 5: you do have a chance of winning some games and
- 20:50Speaker 5: surprising some people.
- 20:51Speaker 10: Definitely feels like we have the worst, that's for sure.
- 20:55Speaker 10: It really does, man, And that's no disrespect to any
- 20:57Speaker 10: particular player, but it really feels like that. I mean,
- 21:00Speaker 10: especially like when you laies on the roster, Like if
- 21:03Speaker 10: you go pull it up on the internet, dude, it's like, what,
- 21:07Speaker 10: like how did we get here? You know what I'm saying.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Is that with dev Is that with the like starting
- 21:12Speaker 5: twenty two? Is that with like the totality of the
- 21:15Speaker 5: roster or is it just like because I like I'm wondering, Okay,
- 21:19Speaker 5: the first twenty two Okay, not too bad for me,
- 21:22Speaker 5: it's a depth issue with the Saints, Like after the
- 21:24Speaker 5: first twenty two, guys, I'm like, it is, guys off
- 21:27Speaker 5: the street, it feels like because they're so unproven, Like
- 21:29Speaker 5: what is it for you or.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Is it just everybody?
- 21:33Speaker 10: I mean, definitely the depth part, you could definitely see it, Dad,
- 21:36Speaker 10: But I mean it's like going to a call lot,
- 21:38Speaker 10: right and it's just like they don't have anything that
- 21:42Speaker 10: really stands out, you know what I'm saying. Like they
- 21:44Speaker 10: ain't got a rap though on the lot, you know,
- 21:46Speaker 10: but they got a bunch of Ford ranges us you know,
- 21:50Speaker 10: single cab, Like they just ain't got like a performance
- 21:54Speaker 10: vehicle on the lot. Dude, Like, I mean, let's start
- 21:58Speaker 10: with the defense. Who's your best player on defense? Right now?
- 22:01Speaker 10: It's like the same guys that we kind of been
- 22:03Speaker 10: that we've kind of been saying for a decade, dude, Like, Okay,
- 22:07Speaker 10: you got the Mario Davis. You know he's he's he's
- 22:10Speaker 10: the best player out of the linebackers. Uh, you safeties
- 22:13Speaker 10: Now you can say just I mean your DBS. Now
- 22:15Speaker 10: you can say Justin Reid is the best player you
- 22:18Speaker 10: know in the defensive backfield. And then on your d line.
- 22:21Speaker 10: I mean you're either gonna say who uh Brezee Cam
- 22:25Speaker 10: Jordan's Chase Young none of that, mo, you know, none
- 22:29Speaker 10: of that at this point like super star players. Offensively,
- 22:36Speaker 10: kamaraw Camara is our best player. Still, It's just I
- 22:41Speaker 10: don't know how we got here. I don't know how
- 22:44Speaker 10: we gotta gotta. You gotta pray that dude like Danny Stutsman,
- 22:47Speaker 10: who looks really good, you gotta pray that, you know,
- 22:49Speaker 10: he turns into like a huge impact player. Breze, He's
- 22:54Speaker 10: got to really like take that next level this year,
- 22:57Speaker 10: really be disruptive. That's what I'm excited about the pad
- 23:00Speaker 10: this week, dude, That's what I'm just ready to see.
- 23:02Speaker 10: Who's ready to be a star dude.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Yeah, Brazil's got it, certainly. Yeah, that's a good call.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Like he's got to be a three down, can't just
- 23:10Speaker 5: rush the past or He's got to be something in
- 23:11Speaker 5: the run game two you I mean you select him
- 23:13Speaker 5: in the first round, Flynn, You a deep tackle.
- 23:15Speaker 10: You got to be a three guy, a guy like
- 23:19Speaker 10: Kendre Miller. You know, like for real, bro, we really
- 23:21Speaker 10: need you to you know what I'm saying, Like we
- 23:24Speaker 10: needed to happen this year, Chris Olave. It's got to
- 23:27Speaker 10: happen this year.
- 23:28Speaker 8: Man.
- 23:28Speaker 10: You know, gotta stay healthy. I still worry about to
- 23:31Speaker 10: receive this stuff like, because you know, they they always
- 23:34Speaker 10: rave about how good Shaheed looks and and you know
- 23:37Speaker 10: all that, but it's like, all it takes is one
- 23:39Speaker 10: injury and we'll be back.
- 23:40Speaker 11: To We're back to Uber drop.
- 23:41Speaker 10: Does that receive dude.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Yeah, no doubt.
- 23:44Speaker 8: Yeah when we're I think Saints fans are exhausted about
- 23:47Speaker 8: saying the same names this time of the this time
- 23:50Speaker 8: of the year, every single year back. How did how
- 23:52Speaker 8: did you take the Honey Badger news last week coming
- 23:55Speaker 8: seemingly to you know, out of the blue, How are
- 23:59Speaker 8: we doing?
- 24:00Speaker 10: Couldn't believe it. I really couldn't, could not believe that happened,
- 24:03Speaker 10: and that just started the.
- 24:04Speaker 11: Week of like IZZI dies Honey Badger of ti is
- 24:10Speaker 11: It's just like.
- 24:11Speaker 10: Out of no way stuff, you know. I couldn't believe it, man,
- 24:15Speaker 10: because I get it, man, like as you get older,
- 24:18Speaker 10: of course you're not going to play like you were
- 24:20Speaker 10: in your twenties. But I didn't think he was done yet,
- 24:23Speaker 10: So it was really shocking.
- 24:25Speaker 8: You think it was out of the blue for everybody.
- 24:26Speaker 8: Did anybody foresee this happening?
- 24:30Speaker 10: Mickey Luna said in the press conference that they knew
- 24:32Speaker 10: about it a few days in advance.
- 24:35Speaker 5: It almost felt like in Flinna and I talked about this,
- 24:38Speaker 5: dev I've had this feeling. I can't really speak for Matt,
- 24:42Speaker 5: but there was one year going into year five maybe
- 24:45Speaker 5: for me, in the thought of going to training camp,
- 24:49Speaker 5: and I was just frustrated with some other things, but
- 24:51Speaker 5: like the thought of going to training camp, like I
- 24:53Speaker 5: wanted to do anything else, and I was like, I
- 24:56Speaker 5: just want to hang it up.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Am I done here?
- 24:59Speaker 5: So I I think part of it too, was like
- 25:01Speaker 5: Tyrone was probably going back and forth in his brain.
- 25:03Speaker 5: He probably got there is like, you know what, I
- 25:06Speaker 5: don't have anything else left. I need to prove like
- 25:08Speaker 5: I've played for the hometown team, I've been All Pro
- 25:10Speaker 5: three times, I won a Super Bowl. So to me,
- 25:13Speaker 5: it was like I've kind of done it all, and
- 25:16Speaker 5: I don't really want to go through training camp away
- 25:18Speaker 5: from my family again and go through another football season.
- 25:22Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, and I mean I'm sure, let's be
- 25:25Speaker 10: human about this. I mean, you look at the rostery, true,
- 25:28Speaker 10: I mean, look at the Ross. I mean, it's not
- 25:30Speaker 10: that hard of a decision really, But again, it was shocking, man,
- 25:34Speaker 10: because when we're talking about like big name players that
- 25:37Speaker 10: we had he was definitely like one of the first
- 25:40Speaker 10: ones you mentioned. And it's not like we're in position
- 25:43Speaker 10: to be fortunate enough to be able to afford to
- 25:45Speaker 10: lose players like that. Now you got who you got
- 25:49Speaker 10: this guy Blackman who he played for the Colts or
- 25:52Speaker 10: something like that. Yeah, and hopefully he's good man because
- 25:57Speaker 10: no disrespect to Howden, But you know, I'd like not
- 26:02Speaker 10: to see him starting if we can control it.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:04Speaker 5: I mean there was a time when I had some
- 26:06Speaker 5: high host for him, and he can be a he
- 26:08Speaker 5: can be at like a nice additional piece, but I
- 26:11Speaker 5: don't know that you're going to count on him to
- 26:13Speaker 5: be the.
- 26:13Speaker 10: Guy dev Yeah. Now, and then dude, again, the receiver
- 26:17Speaker 10: is man. That's what it's like. Somebody has to other
- 26:22Speaker 10: than Shaheed and Olive. Like I saw I saw some
- 26:26Speaker 10: plays from training camp with Brandon Cooks.
- 26:28Speaker 11: Dropping the ball like, bro, we you know we need.
- 26:31Speaker 10: You to catch everything mists. Yeah, dude, like we need
- 26:37Speaker 10: you to catch everything. Man. We need like one of
- 26:39Speaker 10: these guys like bub Beans. You know, I don't know
- 26:43Speaker 10: the starting five receives I saw it yesterday was Alive,
- 26:48Speaker 10: sh he Cooks, uh, Dante Pettis and what's funny, Dante Pattis.
- 27:00Speaker 10: That's insane, man, that's insane. It's insane. I mean, dude,
- 27:03Speaker 10: I was running kicks back with Dante Pettison like Madden sixteen, speaking.
- 27:10Speaker 8: Of like what when when when you're turning on I
- 27:14Speaker 8: don't know it's PS five whatever it is are we playing?
- 27:19Speaker 8: He's a proper We turned on Madden, or we turned
- 27:21Speaker 8: on the New College Game.
- 27:23Speaker 10: Well, we can't turn on Madden yet because it's not
- 27:26Speaker 10: out yet. But no, no, I'm on the College Football
- 27:29Speaker 10: I'm running the Dynasty with pitt right now and Eli
- 27:31Speaker 10: Holstein by exactly what louisiannalysts go.
- 27:34Speaker 8: Let's go. How is the New game compared to we
- 27:37Speaker 8: We had this discussion earlier today. Taylor said it wasn't
- 27:39Speaker 8: as good. He doesn't like it as much.
- 27:41Speaker 10: Well, it just needs a lot of patches, man. I
- 27:43Speaker 10: had to take a two week break from it because
- 27:46Speaker 10: I was playing Louisville and it was a it was
- 27:49Speaker 10: a big matchup. I had recruits in town, you know
- 27:52Speaker 10: all that. And you know I'm driving down the field,
- 27:56Speaker 10: down one point, driving down the field. They got like
- 27:58Speaker 10: a minute left and and my guy gets a first
- 28:01Speaker 10: down on a run and his dude, his butt and
- 28:04Speaker 10: his knee is on the ground and then he loses
- 28:07Speaker 10: the ball. They call it a fumble. Of course, you
- 28:09Speaker 10: can't challenge it, so you gotta leave it up to
- 28:11Speaker 10: the officials, Brody, officials don't review it. I lose the
- 28:14Speaker 10: game the one o'clock. I lose the game. I'm like,
- 28:17Speaker 10: and I had the picture of the guy. You know,
- 28:20Speaker 10: it's bad when you take a picture of it, you know,
- 28:24Speaker 10: and the guy who's knee and butt was on the ground.
- 28:26Speaker 10: Clear's day, dude, Like, how how we were dressing in
- 28:30Speaker 10: challenges and video games at this point. It's insane, but
- 28:33Speaker 10: we are, you know.
- 28:34Speaker 8: Take take in a picture of Dynasty mud versus nobody
- 28:38Speaker 8: versus the computer.
- 28:41Speaker 10: And then I went and tagged da bro was I was,
- 28:48Speaker 10: of course not dude. They never will, man, they never will.
- 28:51Speaker 10: But it's no, it just needs some patches. But it's
- 28:54Speaker 10: still fun. Man. I love like.
- 28:55Speaker 11: I like that better than Madden.
- 28:57Speaker 10: Madden last year was unplayable, bro from the simple fact
- 29:01Speaker 10: of when you draft guys like in the fantasy draft
- 29:03Speaker 10: and stuff like that, and they show like the picture
- 29:06Speaker 10: of them, like they tried to make like virtual representation
- 29:09Speaker 10: of them. Dude. It looked knocking like the guys at
- 29:12Speaker 10: all and they were wearing shoots from like two thousand
- 29:15Speaker 10: and four.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I remember that that.
- 29:22Speaker 10: Yeah, you know the pants that like at the ankle, like, dude,
- 29:25Speaker 10: you could fit like, I don't know, like a few
- 29:27Speaker 10: grocery bags and.
- 29:28Speaker 8: That dude, it was jacket went halfway down your thigh.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 8: Yeah, dirty work.
- 29:34Speaker 10: Bro U.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Before we let you go, any idea of where we're
- 29:38Speaker 4: staying for RB and.
- 29:39Speaker 10: R day, were staying in the city, baby, Okay, we're
- 29:44Speaker 10: staying in the city unless something hat so way. I
- 29:47Speaker 10: don't know, I'm about to look at it right now,
- 29:48Speaker 10: but I'm pretty sure we're staying in Sick. Been hitting
- 29:50Speaker 10: some bangs though the last couple of weeks. I mean
- 29:53Speaker 10: one of them was Willy Mays and New Ones. You know.
- 29:57Speaker 10: Willy Mays is a place that's been around since the fifties,
- 30:00Speaker 10: but one of the place, the main place burned down,
- 30:03Speaker 10: so they basically made a new place downtown in the CBD.
- 30:07Speaker 10: It's right across from It's the breakfast place that just
- 30:11Speaker 10: opened back Benita's, right across from Anita's, and dude, this
- 30:15Speaker 10: place was phenomenal, bro I probably ate some of the
- 30:18Speaker 10: best like Ben. It was like a man as fast
- 30:21Speaker 10: as split. Oh God, brow.
- 30:24Speaker 4: It was so good Jesus that come with a diaper.
- 30:30Speaker 10: Yeah, you're gonna need one, brother, you gonna need one.
- 30:34Speaker 5: All right, Dev, we look forward to seeing where you
- 30:36Speaker 5: end up today. We'll always look forward to RBN R day.
- 30:39Speaker 5: Check out Dev all on social media at Snow like
- 30:42Speaker 5: John to see where he ends up. Dev, you're the man.
- 30:44Speaker 5: We appreciate it and look forward to it next week.
- 30:47Speaker 10: All right, y'all, take care. I appreciate it.
- 30:49Speaker 5: There is our guy, Devin Snow aka hold the Mayo.
- 30:52Speaker 5: All right, let's take a break more ot B when
- 30:54Speaker 5: we come.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Back here on one of four five ESPN.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Batteries off the bench.
- 31:00Speaker 5: All right, As we've been saying all summer long, it
- 31:02Speaker 5: is a great time for eight dough sekis. It's always
- 31:05Speaker 5: a great time to go for dose. But don't think
- 31:07Speaker 5: that stops here in the summertime. Oh no, sir, or
- 31:11Speaker 5: no ma'am. It is a fall beer as well. If
- 31:14Speaker 5: you're sitting there tailgating getting ready to watch the Tigers play,
- 31:17Speaker 5: do sekis. If you're sitting around feet kicked up watching
- 31:21Speaker 5: all the games starting with that brunch game out of
- 31:23Speaker 5: the big ten, do sekies. It does not matter summer, fall, winter, spring,
- 31:28Speaker 5: It's always a great time to go for dose. And
- 31:30Speaker 5: I'm going to assume that some were deleted on False
- 31:34Speaker 5: River this weekend.
- 31:35Speaker 8: Uh yeah, little lake trip. I can I tell you
- 31:39Speaker 8: it is so hot out there, so riding around on
- 31:42Speaker 8: a lake with that wind hitting your face and an
- 31:45Speaker 8: ice chest full of delicious ice cold dose sekis is
- 31:49Speaker 8: elite and there were some deleted. So if you want
- 31:52Speaker 8: to delete some this week, and like Jake say, if
- 31:54Speaker 8: you're getting ready for tailgating and are planning on deleting
- 31:57Speaker 8: some later this fall of the game, go do ski
- 32:00Speaker 8: dot com.
- 32:14Speaker 1: WEEKES two thousand and seven Champs Purple and Gold to
- 32:18Speaker 1: the core. This is off the Bench with Hester and Flynn,
- 32:22Speaker 1: Matt and Rougees go to for all things Louisiana sports.
- 32:36Speaker 11: Weekend these.
- 32:43Speaker 2: There is.
- 32:48Speaker 5: All right, welcome back OTV one oh four five ESPN
- 32:52Speaker 5: baton Route.
- 32:55Speaker 4: LS.
- 32:55Speaker 5: You're gonna be starting training camp this week and we're
- 32:58Speaker 5: all excited to kind of go across the street to
- 33:01Speaker 5: the Ponderosa.
- 33:03Speaker 4: Check it out.
- 33:03Speaker 10: Now.
- 33:04Speaker 5: There are morning practice teams, so unfortunately we can't be
- 33:08Speaker 5: there for a bulk of the practices we been go
- 33:10Speaker 5: on weekends and different things. But I'm very excited to
- 33:13Speaker 5: kind of see the demeanor of the team, like in
- 33:16Speaker 5: your spast it's been. I want to check out the roster.
- 33:18Speaker 5: I want to check out the ones and twos. I
- 33:20Speaker 5: want to check out the two deep. I want to
- 33:22Speaker 5: check out some of the freshmen, and some of that
- 33:24Speaker 5: intrigue is there. But I think knowing the roster, knowing
- 33:27Speaker 5: what you have coming back, with quarterback, with receiver, with
- 33:32Speaker 5: running back, with linebackers, so many different positions where I
- 33:36Speaker 5: think you get some really good players coming back. I
- 33:39Speaker 5: want to see the demeanor kind of the way they
- 33:44Speaker 5: carry themselves a little bit. I want to see how
- 33:46Speaker 5: spirited practices are, because you can't have step again, You've
- 33:53Speaker 5: got to hit the ground running. And so that's the
- 33:55Speaker 5: thing that I'm going to be paying attention to, like
- 33:57Speaker 5: how do you carry themselves? Who is the leader on
- 34:00Speaker 5: the defense, Like we think it's going to be Witweeks
- 34:03Speaker 5: and Harold Perkins, Jacobe and Gillery. Who else does one
- 34:08Speaker 5: of the transfers say, you know what, I don't care
- 34:10Speaker 5: that I just got here, Like I've been a dude
- 34:12Speaker 5: in college football for a while, and I'm going to
- 34:14Speaker 5: be a leader here as well.
- 34:15Speaker 4: So like those are the things.
- 34:16Speaker 5: It's not even necessarily the roster because I think we
- 34:19Speaker 5: all have a really good idea for the most part
- 34:21Speaker 5: what this roster looks like. And of course I could
- 34:23Speaker 5: say offensive line, I could say defensive tackle, but really
- 34:26Speaker 5: I want to see how they're carrying themselves.
- 34:28Speaker 8: Yeah, I think they've They've have not been bashful about
- 34:34Speaker 8: talking about how confident they are in this team. I mean,
- 34:36Speaker 8: Garrett Esmayers said it and multiple people have said it
- 34:39Speaker 8: about they believe that this is the most talented team
- 34:42Speaker 8: from top to bottom on both sides of the ball,
- 34:45Speaker 8: that they've been a part of, either in a long
- 34:48Speaker 8: time or their entire time at LSU. So I think
- 34:52Speaker 8: that they're probably going to carry themselves out. I think
- 34:54Speaker 8: we know what to expect from it because they have
- 34:56Speaker 8: good top leadership at the big positions. What I'd like
- 34:58Speaker 8: to see is their leadership within each position group. The
- 35:03Speaker 8: great teams have that where there's a leader that everybody
- 35:07Speaker 8: kind of looks to for guidance within each position group
- 35:10Speaker 8: offensive line, receivers, running backs, DB's defensive line, and we
- 35:14Speaker 8: had that in our experience and our teams that we
- 35:16Speaker 8: were on is like each room had a leader. So
- 35:20Speaker 8: there's never a point in time where any player spends
- 35:23Speaker 8: a portion of the day where they're not looking up
- 35:26Speaker 8: to somebody or looking for somebody with guidance that has
- 35:29Speaker 8: the team first mentality that has the same messaging to everybody.
- 35:33Speaker 8: You can have a leader in a room that's not
- 35:36Speaker 8: the guy it should be right and is not the
- 35:39Speaker 8: most positive create the most positive environment like a leader.
- 35:42Speaker 8: Like when we say leader doesn't always have to be positive.
- 35:45Speaker 8: It can be led the wrong direction. So do they
- 35:48Speaker 8: have all the guys at the same aiming point, We're
- 35:52Speaker 8: gonna have the hierarchy of the leadership and doing it
- 35:55Speaker 8: the right way up with everything pointed and all indications
- 35:59Speaker 8: point to this is gonna be a you know, you'd
- 36:03Speaker 8: like to say a quietly confident team, but I think
- 36:06Speaker 8: they're going to be an outspoken, confident team. But they're
- 36:08Speaker 8: not going to tell any lies like this is truly
- 36:10Speaker 8: how they feel. I think they are a very confident
- 36:13Speaker 8: team rightfully so with what they're bringing in, But I
- 36:16Speaker 8: think a lot of it stems from we got to
- 36:19Speaker 8: we've filled in a lot of those position those holes
- 36:22Speaker 8: that we might have been missing a season ago. We
- 36:26Speaker 8: believe that we brought into people to fill in those gaps,
- 36:29Speaker 8: filling those voids from a just a talent standpoint, and
- 36:33Speaker 8: they have good reason to be confident because they're bringing
- 36:36Speaker 8: back all the positions. But what I really want to
- 36:38Speaker 8: watch is the O line versus D line drills and
- 36:42Speaker 8: one on ones, half line pass protection, half line run blocking,
- 36:46Speaker 8: and how they are going to be teaching, training and
- 36:51Speaker 8: executing the running game in practice. Like what are the
- 36:56Speaker 8: coaching points because the coaching points last year. I'm not
- 37:00Speaker 8: gonna say the coach of points last year, but what
- 37:02Speaker 8: we did last year didn't work from a running game standpoint, right, Yeah.
- 37:05Speaker 4: No, no it did not. I mean it is what
- 37:07Speaker 4: it is.
- 37:08Speaker 8: But of course, like that half line, I love half
- 37:10Speaker 8: line pass protection. It's way better drilled than one on one.
- 37:13Speaker 8: One on one is great because you got to work
- 37:14Speaker 8: in there to say it's great for your tackle, it's
- 37:17Speaker 8: not realistic. Half line, when you take the center guard
- 37:20Speaker 8: tackle and you work versus two defensive linemen, it's the
- 37:24Speaker 8: best because that chemistry working shoulder to shoulder with your
- 37:29Speaker 8: guide next to you, learning how to pass off te
- 37:33Speaker 8: stunts ET stunts and what we're talking about there is
- 37:36Speaker 8: an ET stunt. Whatever letter comes first is the person
- 37:40Speaker 8: that will angle, and then the next guy goes over
- 37:43Speaker 8: the top. So if we say ET, the end comes
- 37:47Speaker 8: in and the tackle goes around. If we say TE,
- 37:50Speaker 8: the tackle goes out and comes in. So like working
- 37:53Speaker 8: on those stunts, learning how to pass off. So if
- 37:56Speaker 8: I start, if I think I'm going to set to
- 37:58Speaker 8: the tackle, he runs out me for two steps and
- 38:01Speaker 8: then he loops over. I got to engage, then I
- 38:04Speaker 8: got to pass off with my tackle. And that's all
- 38:06Speaker 8: a chemistry thing. Yeah, So that half line is so important.
- 38:09Speaker 4: So that's i mean one of the drills that I'm
- 38:10Speaker 4: looking for in half line. I mean you can go
- 38:13Speaker 4: and go.
- 38:13Speaker 5: You know, we did it with the line too, Like
- 38:15Speaker 5: we'd be backs in protection and you know the tackle
- 38:18Speaker 5: in the end they go down down and here comes
- 38:21Speaker 5: the linebacker around, so like how, well, like what do
- 38:23Speaker 5: your rules tell you? Like, how are you going to
- 38:25Speaker 5: do that? And that was more of a realistic drill
- 38:27Speaker 5: than just going one on one. It's like, hey, linebacker,
- 38:30Speaker 5: if you went that far inside, there's like seven people
- 38:33Speaker 5: you'd run into before you got to the quarterback, So no,
- 38:37Speaker 5: I'm with you right there. Uh, there's there's some intrigue
- 38:40Speaker 5: though for me and how they go about their business.
- 38:44Speaker 5: Who emerges like organically as maybe a voice of the
- 38:47Speaker 5: team as well.
- 38:48Speaker 4: So all right, we'll take.
- 38:49Speaker 5: Our last break of the show, wrap it up on
- 38:51Speaker 5: this Monday morning edition of OTV when we come back
- 38:54Speaker 5: one O four five ESPN Batterers.

- 38:59Speaker 4: little bit of go.
