- 0:00Speaker 1: You said, don't start this again. I'm saying for something
- 0:01Speaker 1: to start, something has to be finished. We got finished.
- 0:04Speaker 2: No, we know what's happened, like In and Out got
- 0:06Speaker 2: bodied based on what we've seen on our podcast.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Oh I was doing sharing.
- 0:10Speaker 2: You're just putting more share the closest, showing more shit
- 0:12Speaker 2: about just like oh yeah, the body's dead and here's
- 0:14Speaker 2: still Like you're sticking a couple more times just in
- 0:16Speaker 2: case it comes back.
- 0:17Speaker 1: No, I'm thinking like anytime something gets posted, it's like rolling,
- 0:20Speaker 1: that's something I believe in. That's something i'm with. It's
- 0:23Speaker 1: it's like i'm sharing. It's like, oh I'm sharing this.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It's like if daily stoics like, yeah, we all know
- 0:27Speaker 1: a way and agree on certain things. It's like, oh yeah,
- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna share this. This is good. Say oh yeah,
- 0:31Speaker 1: somebody's talking about uh, in and Out being trash or
- 0:34Speaker 1: five guys being superior, not trash, because I don't think
- 0:36Speaker 1: in and Out trashed. We're just talking about which one
- 0:39Speaker 1: is better. It's like when I see a video of
- 0:41Speaker 1: like five guys being superior, I'm like, oh yeah, this
- 0:43Speaker 1: is something I identify with.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Identify with. What a fun way?
- 0:47Speaker 2: What a fun way to start this episode, dude, episode
- 0:50Speaker 2: two thirty three, thirty four, we just jumped up?
- 0:54Speaker 3: Or am I just always off? One tree was dumb?
- 0:59Speaker 2: Great by the by the way, Yeah, very well received podcast.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Tom Sigura, dude, people are fired up.
- 1:04Speaker 1: When he tweeted, yeah you said any great voice message
- 1:08Speaker 1: by the way, I was just like, there's nothing to add.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I was thinking about doing a voice message just like
- 1:12Speaker 1: farting or something.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Yeah. But uh. I was like, yeah, dude, that's yeah.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I was blown away.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So Gura and honestly Kreischer, there's two dudes that have
- 1:21Speaker 2: done so much for this show. Yeah, and we'll continue
- 1:24Speaker 2: to ride those coat tails.
- 1:25Speaker 1: And it sounds like yo. I was like, it was.
- 1:27Speaker 1: It was a lot of fun. It was a great
- 1:29Speaker 1: time to see him throw it up on the old
- 1:31Speaker 1: bird app. I was like, oh wow, this is fucking cool.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Like Tom Sagura is like showing love to the boys
- 1:35Speaker 1: and saying like full episode with the link, Like whether
- 1:37Speaker 1: or not it's somebody doing it for me, I don't
- 1:39Speaker 1: think it matters.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but Tom would have to sit there to whoever's
- 1:42Speaker 2: running a social media and be like, hey, do you
- 1:44Speaker 2: mind giving the boy some love?
- 1:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Or maybe they showed him like, hey, Tom, your episode's
- 1:47Speaker 2: doing really well and busting with the boys, and he's
- 1:49Speaker 2: like says.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Something, yeah, you know.
- 1:51Speaker 2: But anyway, regardless, dude, something we have to talk about
- 1:53Speaker 2: each and every week and it's very important to us
- 1:55Speaker 2: is the Chevy Silverado Summer is hearing. What better way
- 1:58Speaker 2: to take advantage of all it has to offer than
- 1:59Speaker 2: with Chevy Silverado Silverado Summer. Think of all the possibilities
- 2:03Speaker 2: so from off road adventures to DIY projects and hardcore work.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Silverado has a capability and technology to make this summer
- 2:10Speaker 2: your best one ever. With nine different Silverado models to
- 2:13Speaker 2: choose from, the engines that range from a powerful Turbax
- 2:16Speaker 2: to the six point two liter V eight and the
- 2:18Speaker 2: Duramax Dasil, you can count on Chevy power and performance
- 2:22Speaker 2: to get anything done. Like many of you, we've been
- 2:24Speaker 2: hitting the road a lot lately and it seems like
- 2:26Speaker 2: everywhere we go there's an army of Silverado's and Silverado owners.
- 2:29Speaker 2: So shout out to all of you game recognized game
- 2:32Speaker 2: head over to Chevy dot com, dude, check out our
- 2:34Speaker 2: check out Silverado and all the Silverado trucks. The official
- 2:37Speaker 2: truck of busting with the boys. Before we go any
- 2:40Speaker 2: further into this podcast, we got two very special guests.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Joey Singleton and his son Sebastian have graced us with
- 2:48Speaker 2: their presence. If you see my tattoos, if you ever
- 2:50Speaker 2: appreciated my tattoos at all, at all, there's a ninety
- 2:55Speaker 2: nine percent chance Joey has done those tattoos. Let's give
- 2:57Speaker 2: around to pause. Joe right here just being on the
- 2:59Speaker 2: bus man here on the bus, his son. I see
- 3:02Speaker 2: him also working on a little bit of ink there
- 3:03Speaker 2: in the corner. That duster on the top of your lip, brother,
- 3:05Speaker 2: looks fantastic. You got the haircut from Boy Meets World
- 3:08Speaker 2: looking like dude, And that's a compliment. You've probably never
- 3:12Speaker 2: seen that show.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Huh.
- 3:13Speaker 2: That's a nineties piece, mister. Like, that's some ship right there, dog,
- 3:18Speaker 2: handsome boy. I don't know about that little flavorsaver on
- 3:21Speaker 2: the bottom, but you know, hey, life's all about choices.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Will is a big flavor saver guy. He likes a
- 3:25Speaker 2: little a little soul down there, a little soul down there. Yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 2: you need God around it all time. Yeah, yeah, I
- 3:34Speaker 2: do fucking love that. But yeah, before this podcast started,
- 3:37Speaker 2: as it kind of got into everything. You heard us
- 3:40Speaker 2: talking about five guys in and out. But the reason
- 3:42Speaker 2: why that started is I have finally found a victory
- 3:47Speaker 2: in the polls on Twitter, and that was choosing to
- 3:51Speaker 2: always be able to run a red light over having
- 3:54Speaker 2: a parking to the front park is about wherever you go.
- 3:56Speaker 3: So Jack, brother, we did it. We did it.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I'm proud of us, me too. What an opportunity, and
- 4:02Speaker 2: we'll have another opportunity to do it? Would you rather
- 4:04Speaker 2: this week? When the twisted question comes up?
- 4:06Speaker 3: Willie? What's up? Dude?
- 4:08Speaker 1: I didn't know we kept track of all the pole stuff. No,
- 4:11Speaker 1: it's you've won before, by the way, I win. Yeah,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'm sure you've won before.
- 4:15Speaker 3: That's that's a nice of you to say. But I
- 4:17Speaker 3: really don't like.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I really the whole in and out thing, like I
- 4:20Speaker 2: talked about, is really cloud of my judgment because it's
- 4:22Speaker 2: been such a beat down.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I think, Uh, your mental has been
- 4:27Speaker 1: invaded throughout this whole situation.
- 4:30Speaker 3: How do you not question yourself?
- 4:31Speaker 1: I'm just when I like I'm saying, well, my answers
- 4:34Speaker 1: or my opinion, you'll like think to yourself, Oh, you're
- 4:36Speaker 1: just saying it because you know everybody's gonna you're just
- 4:39Speaker 1: playing to everybody. I'm just thinking, like, I don't think
- 4:42Speaker 1: it's like it's not there's more of a common man
- 4:44Speaker 1: than I am. I guess not more for the common peace.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's like I knew the mistake whenever the poll went up.
- 4:49Speaker 1: When I'm thinking about it more, I was like, Oh,
- 4:51Speaker 1: people who like are in it in the cities, Like
- 4:53Speaker 1: it's that is a no brainder.
- 4:54Speaker 3: You want to run a red light the entire time?
- 4:56Speaker 1: Yeah, because like I truly feel like like I don't.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I don't like, uh like change my answer or see
- 5:04Speaker 1: it another way.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Was just wild to me because I feel like any
- 5:08Speaker 2: opportunity you have to always run a red light, no
- 5:11Speaker 2: matter what, You're gonna use that ability way more than
- 5:13Speaker 2: you are finding the parking spot. Because the only thing
- 5:16Speaker 2: that really plays into is what we did last night
- 5:17Speaker 2: at the NF concert. That parking spot would have played
- 5:20Speaker 2: a big handed there everyone. We'd have also saved five
- 5:24Speaker 2: to seven minutes getting there. So it's also like those
- 5:27Speaker 2: out weigh in the big time situations, but on a
- 5:29Speaker 2: day to day basis, if.
- 5:30Speaker 1: We're gonna run a red light. Brother, But when we
- 5:32Speaker 1: left the concert. It's like if we had that front
- 5:34Speaker 1: row spot when I took you home and there's not
- 5:37Speaker 1: really like sound really like we're in a traffic style
- 5:40Speaker 1: situation and we get to walk right out and get
- 5:42Speaker 1: in the car.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I can see this is not going to go
- 5:44Speaker 3: a whole lot further.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean at the end of the day that
- 5:47Speaker 1: we're seeing the pole, the polls in your guys's favor,
- 5:50Speaker 1: the poles in your guys's favor.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to the next battle coming up. And
- 5:53Speaker 2: we hit the twisted question. Well, how about last.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Night though, dude, Yeah, that concert, That NF concert was unreal,
- 6:00Speaker 1: was unreal.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Shout out the boy NF dude hooking us up with tickeis.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Like that was and his wife Bridget just Bridgie knocking
- 6:06Speaker 1: it out of the park like it was they being
- 6:09Speaker 1: like in Nashville. Knowing that there's a lot of like
- 6:12Speaker 1: probably family. I didn't meet her, get to know like
- 6:15Speaker 1: the majority of the crowd because there was a lot
- 6:17Speaker 1: of people. But I know, when you're doing the whole
- 6:19Speaker 1: host thing and like there's a lot of tickets going on,
- 6:21Speaker 1: Like Bridget was like crushing it the entire time.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lot going on. There's a lot of
- 6:25Speaker 3: moving parts.
- 6:25Speaker 2: She kept her composer, especially at the state that she
- 6:27Speaker 2: was in, and it was her birthday, either yesterday or
- 6:30Speaker 2: the day before the day before. There was literally a lady,
- 6:32Speaker 2: we're the twelve thirty Club and there's like probably twenty
- 6:34Speaker 2: people including me, Will and Brie. Mikey was already with
- 6:38Speaker 2: uh Nate, and we're like going down and trying to
- 6:41Speaker 2: find her way to like downstairs green room area, and
- 6:43Speaker 2: it was like it was kind of a shit show,
- 6:45Speaker 2: and Bridget kind of leading the whole thing did a
- 6:49Speaker 2: phenomenal job. There's literally a lady there with a suitcase,
- 6:51Speaker 2: Like I felt like she like she had places to be,
- 6:53Speaker 2: and you're thinking, like, yo, you could just leave that
- 6:55Speaker 2: somewhere right and come back to the twelve thirty Club
- 6:57Speaker 2: after the show, but she she was held bent on
- 7:00Speaker 2: on taking that thing and it was it was impressive.
- 7:02Speaker 2: But I was blown away by by Nate and the
- 7:04Speaker 2: way his show went droughe the cinematography, him coming out
- 7:08Speaker 2: in all white singing a couple of songs, and there's
- 7:10Speaker 2: like a minute thirty break of some cool shit playing
- 7:14Speaker 2: on the side before the search came on and he's
- 7:16Speaker 2: pulling this car on the on the screen.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Everyone's cheering because I know what's coming.
- 7:19Speaker 2: And then it comes out in the all black and
- 7:21Speaker 2: you could just tell he has to be in certain
- 7:23Speaker 2: parts of the stage based on how the song is going,
- 7:26Speaker 2: and he's literally knocking it out of the park.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Yeah knock. You could just tell, like how meticulous.
- 7:32Speaker 1: And he's just like a to the detail, runs it right,
- 7:35Speaker 1: like you see the art come to life, not only
- 7:37Speaker 1: in as music and lyrics and everything.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Else, but the entire show. Yeah, and we obviously a balloon.
- 7:41Speaker 1: The balloon's being tied to the car like his dad's
- 7:44Speaker 1: coming out like no, it was fire man, it's he's
- 7:47Speaker 1: He's super impressive because he's like found a way to
- 7:52Speaker 1: essentially like talk to the mic as if it's a
- 7:56Speaker 1: therapist and they're the only two things people in the
- 7:59Speaker 1: room at all times, at all times.
- 8:02Speaker 2: And I've only been put on an f for I
- 8:04Speaker 2: don't know three years, four years. Whenever I really met
- 8:07Speaker 2: you is when you put me on the search that album.
- 8:10Speaker 2: But you've been a fan for a long time, dude.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I'm watching when the opening of the show happened, and
- 8:14Speaker 2: it was showing the balloons and then the mansion, and
- 8:17Speaker 2: then you've been telling me all about these Easter eggs
- 8:18Speaker 2: that he kind of puts in all of his songs.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I was kind of like thinking, I wonder what's all
- 8:23Speaker 2: going on here, because you could feel people getting hype
- 8:25Speaker 2: and like, oh, there's that, and I'm like, damn, I
- 8:27Speaker 2: wish I really knew, because the dude's mind is incredible,
- 8:31Speaker 2: the way he's able to break that shit down, seeing
- 8:34Speaker 2: the way he does keep a flow the way he does,
- 8:35Speaker 2: but also articulate his feelings in such a way that
- 8:37Speaker 2: it's like, yo, like I don't know what it is,
- 8:40Speaker 2: but he has cornered the market on white athletes. Like
- 8:44Speaker 2: any white athlete you see, dude, they're like fucking nf
- 8:47Speaker 2: am I right, And you're like, yeah, is that not true? Though,
- 8:50Speaker 2: Like every dude, like any piece of trauma you've ever
- 8:52Speaker 2: had in your life, Dude, if he it's been good,
- 8:54Speaker 2: like parents, this, that self doubt, any of that stuff
- 8:58Speaker 2: you throw on an NF and you're like, this dude
- 9:01Speaker 2: knows me.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Essentially, he speaks to like the soul of like the
- 9:05Speaker 3: dark times of the down times.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It was nuts and the way to articulate on because
- 9:09Speaker 1: his albums, like all of his albums those they're like
- 9:12Speaker 1: albums that you can fully listen to from start to finish,
- 9:15Speaker 1: start to.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Finish, and the recall back and forth between not only
- 9:18Speaker 2: songs in albums, but other songs from different albums, back
- 9:20Speaker 2: and forth.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Like it's truly incredible to as.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You see like the audience and everything else, you can
- 9:26Speaker 1: just tell like how much he just he influences people,
- 9:29Speaker 1: how much he has influenced people.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yes, but I can't imagine like when the when when
- 9:35Speaker 2: Mama played, right, I'm getting emotional watching them, like holy shit,
- 9:39Speaker 2: Like I'm like kind of choking up, and I'm but
- 9:41Speaker 2: there's a point of me how it's like these people
- 9:43Speaker 2: who are sitting here have been a fan of him
- 9:44Speaker 2: for so long. There's got to be you know, wet
- 9:47Speaker 2: cheeks everywhere throughout this concert. People all got to be like,
- 9:52Speaker 2: it's wild. It is just how he just has really
- 9:55Speaker 2: just consumed people and how they're so influenced.
- 9:58Speaker 3: It's it's beautiful.
- 9:59Speaker 2: And imagine what that's like for him in public when
- 10:02Speaker 2: people recognize him being able to like because there's so
- 10:05Speaker 2: many times people have been like this guy saved my life. Yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 2: and I'm sure people are like just fiening to meet
- 10:10Speaker 2: this man, like their story right right.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I feels like like Jelly Roll has a base like
- 10:16Speaker 1: that as well, Like, yeah, there's no question was rocked
- 10:18Speaker 1: with Jelly for so long and you just have that
- 10:21Speaker 1: influence everywhere you go.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Speaking of we met Jelly's daughter. We did.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Yeah, she FaceTime Jelly Jelly sitting their headphones on playing
- 10:29Speaker 1: how we doing play.
- 10:31Speaker 3: In the game.
- 10:32Speaker 2: He was playing the game last night. But dude, yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 2: his daughters came up said, hey, what's up. One literally
- 10:36Speaker 2: came over. Want to introduce youself? Such a sweet girl. Yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 2: such a sweet person.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Man.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So all in all, great show, great concert you get
- 10:43Speaker 1: if you're a fan of NF you get a chance.
- 10:44Speaker 3: To go see him, definitely go see him. It's it's
- 10:46Speaker 3: it's everything and more.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It is a theatrical event, man, It is really really
- 10:51Speaker 2: well done. What have we got in the dockt today?
- 10:52Speaker 2: What do we want to talk about?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Dude? Massive interview coming today? Fostermorrow? He uh you said,
- 10:57Speaker 1: at Morrow or morow? Fostermorrowmorrow. I looked at my old
- 11:04Speaker 1: video from last year saying like it's Marrow. You know
- 11:06Speaker 1: how he did the whole correction thing but it is
- 11:09Speaker 1: Marrow Morow so much easier to say.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Sounds cooler too, Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's got a little
- 11:15Speaker 2: French bazazz on him being from Louisiana.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, but uh, Foster's is incredible, Like he
- 11:21Speaker 1: sat down with us, tells us, walks us through the
- 11:24Speaker 1: entirety of going on the visit to the Bengals, going
- 11:28Speaker 1: on the visit to New Orleans. How he found the
- 11:31Speaker 1: cancer like in his uh collar bone essentially just on
- 11:35Speaker 1: a routine exam. Like it's like the doctors not even
- 11:38Speaker 1: supposed to be like really just given that routinus exam,
- 11:40Speaker 1: he just felt something.
- 11:41Speaker 3: He's like, oh, what is that?
- 11:43Speaker 1: But it walks us through, step by step the entirety
- 11:45Speaker 1: of his story and his journey with a beating officially
- 11:49Speaker 1: Hodgkins lymphoma or it's fully in remission, whatever it is.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I know, if you go like five years right before
- 11:57Speaker 2: you can say like, I'm that's kind of like the
- 11:58Speaker 2: stepping stone.
- 11:59Speaker 1: But at the end of this episode he says like
- 12:01Speaker 1: he has this exam or this scan in a couple
- 12:03Speaker 1: of weeks, and I know that it was going Uh,
- 12:06Speaker 1: it was getting out there in the news, it was
- 12:08Speaker 1: in the news a couple of weeks ago because he
- 12:09Speaker 1: sent a photo of of the conversation between him and
- 12:12Speaker 1: that doctor and it's just like, hey, you're you're clear.
- 12:16Speaker 1: He wanted that good news and he got the good news.
- 12:18Speaker 1: But uh, this is an insane This is an awesome podcast.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Is an awful, awesome conversation that everybody's gonna love like
- 12:25Speaker 1: it was solid, it was good.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Do you want to hit a shout out? If you
- 12:29Speaker 3: shout out, we'd love to. Well. We did. We did
- 12:33Speaker 3: tear talk in in that episode. That's right, we did. Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, best phone gus, best iPhone games. We need to
- 12:42Speaker 1: take a trip down memory land on the iPhone games.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Let's talk about a little pet peeve. Right, let's talk
- 12:47Speaker 2: a little pet PEEVESA let's do what do we want
- 12:50Speaker 2: to do first? Boy, shout out pet pet peeve or
- 12:53Speaker 2: twisted question of the week.
- 12:55Speaker 1: We can go pet peeve. I don't do yeah negative first? Yeah, yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: let's start with the let's start with the next activity first.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I'm very ready because it happened to me today. I'm ready. Okay,
- 13:06Speaker 1: you guys don't mind. I'd like to take the mic
- 13:08Speaker 1: in this ahead.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Man, My pet peeve of the week is going to
- 13:11Speaker 3: go to the palms up.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Specifically, when you're going and you're driving and you're pulling
- 13:18Speaker 2: out of a parking spot and someone is like getting
- 13:21Speaker 2: rushing to get somewhere and they want to stop, and
- 13:24Speaker 2: then you're kind of going and then they kind of
- 13:26Speaker 2: look at you. And it's always an old white lady,
- 13:29Speaker 2: or it's always an old white lady. And this old
- 13:31Speaker 2: white lady, I was trying to take a left and
- 13:33Speaker 2: she was trying to go, and then for whatever reason,
- 13:35Speaker 2: she didn't just keep going. I was literally giving you
- 13:36Speaker 2: the right way and she hit me with this. I'm thinking,
- 13:41Speaker 2: how is that fucking productive? But I kept my composure
- 13:45Speaker 2: and I'm like, hey, I kind of gave her this,
- 13:47Speaker 2: and she's like then she fucking moved the hand over
- 13:50Speaker 2: to this hand like they're supporting each other, and then
- 13:51Speaker 2: back over like what are you doing? And I just thought, dude,
- 13:54Speaker 2: you gotta fuck him. Kept my composure, but get your
- 13:58Speaker 2: wrinkly ass down the fucking road for a second, because
- 14:02Speaker 2: I'm about to just t bone you real quick and
- 14:04Speaker 2: maybe do a hit and run. I didn't because we
- 14:06Speaker 2: kept composure. But still, Pat Peeve for the Week is
- 14:08Speaker 2: gonna have to go to the palms up situation.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Oh I love that. I do like that.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I had a little sticky situation myself last week. And
- 14:15Speaker 1: it wasn't an old white lady. It was a It
- 14:17Speaker 1: was a gentleman, older gentleman. No, somebody like our age,
- 14:21Speaker 1: somebody our age. It seemed like a young professional. He
- 14:24Speaker 1: was driving a decent little vehicle, but just one of
- 14:26Speaker 1: those dudes that you just know, like they think their
- 14:28Speaker 1: shit doesn't stink, like they can kind of fucking do whatever.
- 14:31Speaker 1: We were in the Raising Canes line and you know,
- 14:34Speaker 1: how have you been to the one off White Bridge yet?
- 14:35Speaker 1: I have not, So you'll go similar to like Chick
- 14:39Speaker 1: fil A has these lines sometimes, but you know how
- 14:41Speaker 1: they have like the double driveway, but then it goes
- 14:42Speaker 1: into one lane and then you kind of like caddy
- 14:45Speaker 1: corner and know who's in front of you, who's not
- 14:46Speaker 1: you go in. Well, this douchebagh thought it was his turn.
- 14:52Speaker 1: He was literally following the same person in his lane.
- 14:54Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there and I started to slowly pull
- 14:57Speaker 1: up like hey, we both know, like you know you're
- 14:59Speaker 1: a right, like you're not a fucking idiot.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Sure enough, he is an idiot.
- 15:03Speaker 1: He starts pulling and we both like kind of come
- 15:05Speaker 1: to a stop and he looks over he like he
- 15:07Speaker 1: just does one of these. He just like throws up
- 15:09Speaker 1: his hands like this. And so I sat there. I
- 15:12Speaker 1: rolled down my passenger window because we're close. I rolled
- 15:15Speaker 1: down my passenger window.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Oh my god. And I go, hey, buddy, I go,
- 15:19Speaker 3: do you want to go that badly?
- 15:21Speaker 1: And he was like, oh, yeah, sure, and I go
- 15:22Speaker 1: go ahead, man, and he like rolled up his window
- 15:25Speaker 1: and I'm just fucking steaming, bro. But I could have
- 15:28Speaker 1: like that was a moment where I feel like to myself, like,
- 15:31Speaker 1: I look, he wanted to get out and fucking fight
- 15:33Speaker 1: this other foker the car, And that usually never happens.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Sometimes you get a little bit of that, uh you
- 15:38Speaker 1: really real at him, like when a situation could get
- 15:40Speaker 1: real and it's like, oh am, I gonna actually roll
- 15:41Speaker 1: down my window here and fucking say something.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Usually you just like get mad in your car and
- 15:45Speaker 1: just kind of like keep it moving. But when that happened,
- 15:47Speaker 1: and because I'm literally thinking to myself, like, yo, it
- 15:50Speaker 1: is my turn to go, and when he threw up
- 15:52Speaker 1: his fucking hands looking like the douchebag that he looked
- 15:55Speaker 1: like I just rolled it down because I'm like, there's
- 15:57Speaker 1: no way in hell like he's gonna muster up and
- 15:59Speaker 1: like say anything kind of back, I'll say, hey, brother,
- 16:02Speaker 1: you want to go that badly? Go ahead, and then
- 16:04Speaker 1: he just kind of like rolls up his windsow window
- 16:07Speaker 1: and just and just goes two things.
- 16:10Speaker 2: You taking the time, like consciously you have to not
- 16:13Speaker 2: like you have to find You're not gonna do this
- 16:14Speaker 2: and find your You're gonna look away and then press
- 16:17Speaker 2: your window down.
- 16:19Speaker 3: That's not one of those things.
- 16:20Speaker 2: You're like, just put it down, and you're keeping eye
- 16:21Speaker 2: contact the whole time to keep the anger, cause you
- 16:23Speaker 2: break the eyes, you can kind of gather yourself. You
- 16:25Speaker 2: looked away, kept the anger, and then put the fucking
- 16:27Speaker 2: window down, and then went back to him with the
- 16:29Speaker 2: same fucking energy. I will say that's heavy, But I
- 16:32Speaker 2: think the way you explained it to me, which you
- 16:34Speaker 2: could have been like hey fuck her, like you could
- 16:36Speaker 2: have would have been it was not like that. The
- 16:39Speaker 2: story history is written by the victors, so you were
- 16:42Speaker 2: in a situation. But the way you just explained to me, bravo,
- 16:46Speaker 2: because you probably made him feel like the douche.
- 16:48Speaker 3: That he is. Yes, that was kind of the thing.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's like he could have continued to keep going or whatever,
- 16:52Speaker 1: because I stopped and then he kind of like looked
- 16:55Speaker 1: over and threw his hands up and to me, in
- 16:57Speaker 1: my mind like as I'm playing it back, and when
- 16:59Speaker 1: he throws the hands up in and it's like a
- 17:00Speaker 1: chevy like you see somebody in truck, you're kind of
- 17:02Speaker 1: like a little bit more like let's see who's inside first, right,
- 17:04Speaker 1: And then as the window starts getting rolled down, You're
- 17:06Speaker 1: kind of like, oh shit, like cause I've been in
- 17:08Speaker 1: those situations where you're like, all right, I don't know
- 17:09Speaker 1: if I'm gonna you know what's inside there? The windows
- 17:11Speaker 1: are a little tenton, yeah, and who knows what's insidey Yeah.
- 17:15Speaker 1: But the context is like I was just going ch
- 17:17Speaker 1: I was like yo, I was like, hey, have we
- 17:19Speaker 1: haven't had the new Raisin Knes yet? Down the road,
- 17:20Speaker 1: I was like, you want me to go get somemost
- 17:22Speaker 1: kind of just like a midday like I'm gonna go
- 17:23Speaker 1: grab some yeah, midday treat. So I'm just kind of
- 17:26Speaker 1: like it's one of those things where you just like
- 17:28Speaker 1: leave the house and you're just driving down the road.
- 17:29Speaker 3: So I was in like a patient mood.
- 17:31Speaker 1: But when I saw the hands come up, I was
- 17:33Speaker 1: like all right, and it was like lean down and
- 17:37Speaker 1: I look over and he starts to like press it
- 17:39Speaker 1: down to where it comes out and go, hey, man,
- 17:40Speaker 1: you want to go that badly?
- 17:41Speaker 3: Go ahead?
- 17:42Speaker 2: And the way you did, the eyes up like he's
- 17:44Speaker 2: looking up a year, you're in a fuck. I'm assuming
- 17:46Speaker 2: he's in a car. Yeah, yeah, four door, and I
- 17:47Speaker 2: think it was white. It was a white car stuvsh
- 17:49Speaker 2: but a little bit lower. It's sitting lower. And it
- 17:51Speaker 2: was a white car, wasn't it. Yes, it was a
- 17:53Speaker 2: white car.
- 17:54Speaker 3: And I wanted the story before, but you know, it's
- 17:56Speaker 3: a white car.
- 17:58Speaker 1: And I was hoping that I got I uh, raising
- 18:01Speaker 1: canes faster so that way I could get up and
- 18:03Speaker 1: meet him and go next to him at the light.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I was hoping that, but he ended up getting getting
- 18:07Speaker 1: away and the thing too, dude. I saw him check
- 18:10Speaker 1: back a couple of times, like in the mirror. I
- 18:11Speaker 1: saw the exchange at the window, and I knew that
- 18:13Speaker 1: he's like, is your name Will? Because they got the
- 18:15Speaker 1: tickets like they're in order, and I see him switch
- 18:17Speaker 1: the ticket but I felt like I saw him looking
- 18:20Speaker 1: back in his mirror, and every time I was trying
- 18:23Speaker 1: to do like a like.
- 18:23Speaker 3: A laughing thing, like I'm like smiling, laughing, like.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Doing one of these old they waiting to look behind
- 18:29Speaker 2: him and laughing. Dude, here's the thing about lines and
- 18:33Speaker 2: those two to ones. They can seem a little bit difficult,
- 18:36Speaker 2: but common sense. If ants can do it, you can
- 18:37Speaker 2: fucking do it. They find them sling the line all
- 18:40Speaker 2: the time, right, nice and knowledge all over the place,
- 18:42Speaker 2: and all of a sudden they just merge perfectly. If
- 18:44Speaker 2: the car in front of you just went, that next
- 18:47Speaker 2: car on the left side is now gonna go, then buddy,
- 18:50Speaker 2: your turn. Yes, that's how it fucking worked. The stop
- 18:54Speaker 2: sign thing too, When you fucking meet it a stop sign,
- 18:58Speaker 2: that shit is and then.
- 18:59Speaker 1: You the whole.
- 19:03Speaker 3: And it's like, dude, are you fucking kidding me? There's rules.
- 19:07Speaker 2: We have to get a learners permit. We fucking you
- 19:09Speaker 2: gotta do the computer. I failed to test three times,
- 19:12Speaker 2: so I know most of the fucking questions. Now, if
- 19:14Speaker 2: you pull up, dude, if you fucking pull up and
- 19:18Speaker 2: the person is to your right and you get there
- 19:19Speaker 2: at the same time, the person do your right has
- 19:21Speaker 2: the right of way?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Know that take that forever? That is yes, that is
- 19:26Speaker 3: a gift. That is a gift. I don't know. Hey,
- 19:31Speaker 3: I played by straight. You see me in the streets.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Who's the rules of the road? Brother, I'm letting you know,
- 19:36Speaker 2: I'm researching. I have double checked this. If you go
- 19:39Speaker 2: at the same time. If I'm going this way and
- 19:41Speaker 2: you're going this way and we go stop stain way
- 19:45Speaker 2: stop sign and we go boom, are lower our wheels
- 19:48Speaker 2: stop at the same time, brother, you have the right away.
- 19:50Speaker 3: You have the right away, and then you go and
- 19:53Speaker 3: then I fucking go.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Now, do not be the guy that goes guy goes
- 20:00Speaker 2: to a stop sign and then you think it's a
- 20:02Speaker 2: green light, and then you try to tail tail the
- 20:04Speaker 2: guy that fucking that fucks up everything. That's a whole
- 20:07Speaker 2: different dimension, Like that's a whole twilight zone. I don't
- 20:09Speaker 2: feel like getting into right now. But there are some
- 20:12Speaker 2: times you can get see me at a stop sign,
- 20:13Speaker 2: you see me at a stop sign, you know you
- 20:15Speaker 2: better know I'm following the rules and you better.
- 20:16Speaker 3: You should too.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Just no, I think the four way stop sign is
- 20:20Speaker 1: a fun game to get involved in.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Depends on the mood because you see him swimming attle
- 20:25Speaker 3: b right now.
- 20:25Speaker 1: No, I can tell you're hot, But I feel like
- 20:27Speaker 1: anybody when you pull up to a stop sign and
- 20:29Speaker 1: you see somebody else doing it, like your awareness does
- 20:32Speaker 1: go up on trying to figure out who stops first
- 20:34Speaker 1: or not. If I feel like I'm coming to a
- 20:36Speaker 1: complete stop, I will, like, I will like come to
- 20:39Speaker 1: a full complete stop, so you see my tires stop.
- 20:41Speaker 3: If I see you're barely still.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Rolling and then you like have a slight stop right after,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna hit on the gas and I'm gonna go
- 20:47Speaker 1: you know what I mean, because I feel like nobody's
- 20:49Speaker 1: ever getting there at the exact same time. Yeah, but
- 20:51Speaker 1: somebody does a rolling stop that I know, I'm already stopped.
- 20:53Speaker 1: But if I see your tires go slightly a little
- 20:56Speaker 1: bit more and I feel like it'll rotates just like yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: it feels like like that, and I'm already no, I'm
- 21:01Speaker 1: at I just decide I'm hitting on the gas.
- 21:04Speaker 3: See, I don't see anything wrong with that.
- 21:06Speaker 1: And then as it comes out, if you kind of
- 21:07Speaker 1: do the stop, I continue to just go to see
- 21:10Speaker 1: kind of cause I feel.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Like that's an alpha dog move. I feel like you
- 21:13Speaker 3: will feel.
- 21:14Speaker 1: If somebody's pulling out faster than you are to where
- 21:16Speaker 1: you would, you would kind of stop. I don't know,
- 21:17Speaker 1: I feel like it's a fun it's a fun game
- 21:19Speaker 1: to get involved in, like okay, hey, we're all here, like,
- 21:21Speaker 1: let's let's see who can figure this out.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I don't know, that's just what I kind of ask
- 21:25Speaker 3: in my head. I do want more. Yeah, yeah, it
- 21:29Speaker 3: sounds like we're going because because right now.
- 21:31Speaker 1: We have a joint pet peep of the week, joint
- 21:32Speaker 1: pet peeve and also joint shout out, like when you
- 21:35Speaker 1: go when the two to one goes perfectly or goes well,
- 21:38Speaker 1: goes accordingly like the Ants. Yeah, then that's a shout
- 21:41Speaker 1: like the Ants, it's a shout out. You love to
- 21:43Speaker 1: see a good system get executed. I've a drip of
- 21:46Speaker 1: sweat going down my calf right now, just like if
- 21:49Speaker 1: somebody plays the four way Stop game correctly. Yeah, it's
- 21:52Speaker 1: like a shout out, you know, when somebody gives you
- 21:54Speaker 1: the if you kind of don't know and some good
- 21:55Speaker 1: Samaritans just doing this before you get a chance to
- 21:57Speaker 1: do that, you're like, okay, cool, yeah, yeah, or sometimes
- 22:00Speaker 1: you come right after them, and you're kind of waiting
- 22:02Speaker 1: on them, and they're kind.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Of just like like okay, I mean shoulders, I guess yeah, yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 2: you know what you're giving up right now?
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yes, yes, you can never get back. Yeah, you know, which.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Brings me back to the red light. But for real,
- 22:16Speaker 2: like that's that's the thing. Here's another thing that pisses
- 22:19Speaker 2: me the fuck off.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Dude.
- 22:20Speaker 1: You got three vanes coming out, do I Yeah? One
- 22:23Speaker 1: from your eye, two hair neck, yeah, two from your neck.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Hot that little boy, I don't know what he's doing,
- 22:27Speaker 2: but yeah, if there are two lanes, and it's it's
- 22:31Speaker 2: hard for me to like verbally say this, but like
- 22:34Speaker 2: two lanes on one side of the road, a little
- 22:36Speaker 2: median area like a like a media you can kind
- 22:39Speaker 2: of get past like yellow lines, and then two more lanes,
- 22:42Speaker 2: so you're that's five lanes total.
- 22:45Speaker 1: But one lane is just for like transfer in and out.
- 22:47Speaker 1: We're going too yellow where you get in to turn
- 22:49Speaker 1: like into parking lots.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Like if you're going if you're in Green Hills area, Yeah,
- 22:53Speaker 2: and you're driving towards the highway, there's gonna be two lanes.
- 22:57Speaker 2: There's gonna be a yellow strip of road for the turnoff,
- 23:00Speaker 2: so people want to turn left and right and then
- 23:01Speaker 2: there's two more lanes. This happened today also, So it's
- 23:05Speaker 2: been a tough day in the vehicle for me. This motherfucker,
- 23:08Speaker 2: this ship, dude, the church. Been a putt tough day
- 23:11Speaker 2: to remain patient in a vehicle for tailor. Yeah, yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 2: God damn, but I kept my composer the whole time.
- 23:19Speaker 2: You can lose your patience but still goes back to
- 23:20Speaker 2: a three year old terrorists. You gotta fucking have the patience,
- 23:24Speaker 2: and I did.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I didn't. No one died today, No one died to day.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Church guy guy from church Guy in a vehicle leaving
- 23:31Speaker 2: the church parking lot pulls through the two lanes into
- 23:34Speaker 2: that yellow lane. Now I'm on the far right lane,
- 23:37Speaker 2: and I gotta I gotta turn off on one month
- 23:39Speaker 2: because I'm going I'm going to do a rehab, knee rehab.
- 23:42Speaker 3: This guy goes left.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Lane season opening and then cuts me off. He's got
- 23:47Speaker 2: plenty of room, so he's already going this way and
- 23:51Speaker 2: he fucking I'm here. He goes here like I'm here,
- 23:54Speaker 2: and he's turning and then he goes bink. That's one
- 23:58Speaker 2: lane and then he binks again.
- 24:01Speaker 3: So he came from the other side of the road.
- 24:03Speaker 3: He didn't like.
- 24:03Speaker 1: He didn't like come behind you and then use the
- 24:05Speaker 1: yello lane and get around you and then come over.
- 24:07Speaker 2: And it's like he's got room, he's got room. He
- 24:09Speaker 2: goes yellow lane, other lane, so now he's officially driving
- 24:13Speaker 2: that way. Then right lane right in front of me.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I have to press the brakes. I've got to press
- 24:18Speaker 2: the brakes when I didn't need to be in that situation.
- 24:21Speaker 3: I get mad. I think this guy must really fucking
- 24:23Speaker 3: want to also turn on Woodmont. He kept going straight. Ooh,
- 24:29Speaker 3: I was.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Gonna say, you want to turn really bad? Listen, I've
- 24:31Speaker 2: been I've done that too, hey buddy. And he kind
- 24:34Speaker 2: of get my way of like, oh fuck, don't be
- 24:36Speaker 2: a killer. I hope to God we're good here. And
- 24:38Speaker 2: then you turn off on the road. He didn't turn.
- 24:41Speaker 3: He just went straight. Ah yeah, And it's like, what
- 24:44Speaker 3: are we doing? Yeah yeah, yeah, emerging And then he
- 24:48Speaker 3: just went all the way over.
- 24:50Speaker 2: See this is where it's not necessarily emerged, because he
- 24:52Speaker 2: was already in the two lanes that were going.
- 24:56Speaker 3: South north.
- 24:57Speaker 2: He was going north, and he was in the lane
- 25:00Speaker 2: to my left and I'm in the lane the farthest
- 25:03Speaker 2: lane to the right, both going the same direction, and
- 25:05Speaker 2: he cuts me off and then continues to go straight
- 25:07Speaker 2: through the light when I had to turn right through
- 25:09Speaker 2: the light, Like he could have just stayed in the plane, the.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Tayler didn't have to.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Because Taylor's thinking like, if he turns here, then that's
- 25:16Speaker 1: more of a he took a nice chance paid off.
- 25:19Speaker 3: He's maneuvering to get all the way over.
- 25:21Speaker 1: He's thinking to himself when he's coming out of the
- 25:22Speaker 1: church man, this is a fucking hard situation to be in.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna now pull out in traffic. I'm gonna use
- 25:27Speaker 1: this meeting. I'm gonna use this middle lane, and then
- 25:29Speaker 1: hopefully I'll finesse over to that right line so I
- 25:31Speaker 1: can make that right turn. That would have been high
- 25:33Speaker 1: level fucking driving. And fortunately nobody like got hurt. Taylor
- 25:38Speaker 1: saying he could have stayed in that first lane versus
- 25:42Speaker 1: getting over in front of Taylor because he was just
- 25:44Speaker 1: going straight to begin with, which I get that rage
- 25:46Speaker 1: right there, Okay, I do get that. In his spot,
- 25:50Speaker 1: It's like, once you pull out and you're trying to
- 25:51Speaker 1: use that middle lane, it's almost like, Okay, I'm gonna
- 25:53Speaker 1: decide right after these cars pull out. I'm fucking making
- 25:56Speaker 1: my decision. Then you're kind of in fight or flight
- 25:58Speaker 1: being like I'm hoping, I guess right here, please got
- 26:00Speaker 1: engine work?
- 26:01Speaker 3: Yeah? Follow me here? Yeah, yeah, I get.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I see that that pulls in front of and you
- 26:06Speaker 1: got to abruptly put on your brake and it didn't.
- 26:08Speaker 2: You not even going at speed yet. Yeah, you're not
- 26:09Speaker 2: going the speed limit at all. You're going below the
- 26:11Speaker 2: speed limit, and that ship's fucking annoying. So I'm glad
- 26:14Speaker 2: we got to work through that. Dude, thank you for
- 26:16Speaker 2: the therapy session.
- 26:18Speaker 3: WHOA right?
- 26:19Speaker 2: Should we hit an ad before we do twisted question
- 26:22Speaker 2: of the week, which I'm excited to hear what Jack
- 26:24Speaker 2: has to say.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Do we need to do our shout out no fore shoutout?
- 26:27Speaker 3: I think you just said we have a joint shout
- 26:28Speaker 3: out no for shutout with the merging of the ants. Okay,
- 26:31Speaker 3: we have another. I have another shout out in my
- 26:33Speaker 3: back pocket if we need to get do that as well.
- 26:35Speaker 1: No, I'm solid if that's what you want to do.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I mean, I didn't really actually say my pet pee,
- 26:39Speaker 1: but we can move on to a net. I know

- 27:48Speaker 3: The day is? Jackie is putting together another Would you
- 27:50Speaker 3: rather for us? So you have one? You have one? Well,
- 27:53Speaker 3: can you give me a rating? Like? If this is
- 27:55Speaker 3: a movie, what rating would this question be? Solid? Seven
- 28:02Speaker 3: and a half? That's maybe eight?
- 28:04Speaker 1: Is it?
- 28:06Speaker 4: Is it?
- 28:06Speaker 3: Pgs it? PG thirteen is a gotcha? Gotcha? I was
- 28:10Speaker 3: confused with I thought were I thought we were playing
- 28:12Speaker 3: the four point five game. I see what you were saying.
- 28:15Speaker 3: All of us on different wave likes doesn't.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Give it a rating on thinking He's gonna say, you know,
- 28:19Speaker 1: this is good, this for all audiences, like not anything
- 28:22Speaker 1: to down your throat, but also a little bit of
- 28:25Speaker 1: fun overall save.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Four point five. I would have liked that as well.
- 28:28Speaker 3: I would have accepted that answer. Yeah, okay, so would
- 28:33Speaker 3: you rather?
- 28:34Speaker 4: Would you rather be forced to listen to the same
- 28:37Speaker 4: ten songs on repeat for the rest of your life?
- 28:40Speaker 4: Or be forced to watch the same five movies on
- 28:42Speaker 4: repeat for the.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Rest of your life.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Easy, same, easy, All right, Then we won't do that.
- 28:47Speaker 2: We'll do another one hold on, you will not if
- 28:50Speaker 2: you want to. Jack kind of down, and then we
- 28:53Speaker 2: say songs or movies.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, Jack, songs or movies. Just one word.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Yeah, songs are movies. Songs are movies.
- 29:01Speaker 3: That's it. Jack counts down from fourteen.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine, big, eight, seven, six, five, four,
- 29:16Speaker 4: three two one songs.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yes, I knew you come through fucking that's an easy pick, right,
- 29:27Speaker 1: I think so.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I think that's like a poll of like ninety five
- 29:30Speaker 1: to five. If you were that you disagree, Mitch. Oh,
- 29:35Speaker 1: I'm only saving the headphones that fit him.
- 29:39Speaker 5: These ones fit. Actually, I'm saying movies just because they
- 29:43Speaker 5: take longer, and like you're not.
- 29:46Speaker 3: That's a bad reason. That is a terrible, terrible reason
- 29:50Speaker 3: you're gonna get. You're gonna get the same five movies. Dude.
- 29:52Speaker 2: For the first three months, you're solid, and that is
- 29:55Speaker 2: a long time. First three months you're solid, But after
- 29:57Speaker 2: a while it's like, hey, do you see.
- 29:59Speaker 3: That new movie? I'll himber came out. You want to
- 30:00Speaker 3: go shit, Sorry, I can't.
- 30:02Speaker 5: Hey, do you hear that new song that just came out?
- 30:03Speaker 3: Oh, I can't miss I bet it's a banker. I bet,
- 30:06Speaker 3: I bet Oppenheimer's Bank.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Never surrounded by h opinions of just music all the time.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Everybody comes in, Hey, you see this, Hey, you see that? Yo,
- 30:15Speaker 1: you gotta go watch this, You gotta go watch that.
- 30:16Speaker 1: If you're stuck to the same five movies for the
- 30:18Speaker 1: rest of your life, you're in hell.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Brother.
- 30:21Speaker 2: If you go and you pick five movies and it's
- 30:23Speaker 2: not one of those bay you can quote all the
- 30:25Speaker 2: time movies, you're missing on a big friendship demographic of
- 30:28Speaker 2: guys that just like to sit around and quote wedding crashers.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Let's say that's not in your top five. Well, you're
- 30:32Speaker 2: gonna miss out on a lot of solid, fun conversations
- 30:34Speaker 2: with the boys. It was a painting, Todd. I'm taking
- 30:36Speaker 2: it with me. You want to understand that reference, because
- 30:38Speaker 2: that's top that. It's not your top five movies, right. Songs,
- 30:43Speaker 2: it's songs, brother, it is songs, man. It's like things
- 30:45Speaker 2: are huge.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Okay, so lookey. I might only listen to ten period
- 30:50Speaker 3: So the.
- 30:50Speaker 5: Way I looked at it is like, all right, if
- 30:52Speaker 5: I had to pick five movies, you guys are looking
- 30:54Speaker 5: at it like I can watch all the movies I
- 30:57Speaker 5: want and just listen. I'll just listen to these songs whatever. Yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 5: I get in the car like they're I was thinking
- 31:02Speaker 5: about it.
- 31:03Speaker 6: Motivational videos, like there's a whole lot in a different,
- 31:06Speaker 6: different light.
- 31:07Speaker 2: But if you really want to fit in that bad
- 31:08Speaker 2: find a podcast that talks about new music and why
- 31:10Speaker 2: it's good, and then you can literally just take those
- 31:13Speaker 2: opinions and put them in your brain and spin them
- 31:15Speaker 2: out as if they are your own opinions, like no
- 31:17Speaker 2: one will ever know.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Now.
- 31:18Speaker 3: The same thing could be said for movies.
- 31:20Speaker 2: However, a cinematic performance is sitting down with your friends,
- 31:23Speaker 2: like the other night when we were banged the fuck
- 31:25Speaker 2: up and put Brave Little Toaster on. Brave Little Toaster
- 31:29Speaker 2: is not gonna be in your top five, No, right,
- 31:31Speaker 2: just not gonna be in mind either, like anything, like
- 31:34Speaker 2: you're gonna see a moment of time, right like say
- 31:37Speaker 2: the twenty was it the twenty twenty one three and
- 31:40Speaker 2: nine corn Huskers greatest three win team of all time?
- 31:42Speaker 1: Like there might be a movie made on that one
- 31:43Speaker 1: day and then you're gonna want to watch it, but
- 31:45Speaker 1: you can't cause you're only stuck to five.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Movies, documentaries to those kind of movies. Ah, he's putting
- 31:50Speaker 2: movies as.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Timeline, like how long they are.
- 31:52Speaker 1: They'll be like, that would be something that's actually made
- 31:54Speaker 1: into a movie. I got your brother, Well I can
- 31:59Speaker 1: you got that and say like there's a massive moment,
- 32:01Speaker 1: and then decades later you're like, oh, this is coming
- 32:03Speaker 1: out of this movie. You'd love to see it, but
- 32:04Speaker 1: you can't because you already get you already passed in
- 32:06Speaker 1: your list.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Mitch, did you have anything you want to say to
- 32:08Speaker 3: the group.
- 32:11Speaker 5: I'm at, Like, because when you were just talking about that, then,
- 32:16Speaker 5: like what could you live without? Like you can't, Like
- 32:20Speaker 5: you go to a bar, You're not gonna be able
- 32:22Speaker 5: to listen to any of the music that's going on.
- 32:24Speaker 5: You can't stay there, Like you go out, you can't
- 32:28Speaker 5: listen to any of the music that they're playing, Like
- 32:29Speaker 5: you can't really enjoy any of that.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Gosh, I hate this for you, bro. Now you're almost
- 32:35Speaker 1: just doing a short sighted view. You're in your fucking
- 32:37Speaker 1: twenties at the moment. No, you're just gonna plan on
- 32:40Speaker 1: going to the bar twenties your life.
- 32:42Speaker 5: No, I am in my twenties, but I'm not giving
- 32:43Speaker 5: a short side a view of it.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Not to take up for Mitch, but you guys did
- 32:49Speaker 4: start the first twenty minutes of this podcast talking about
- 32:52Speaker 4: a concert they all loved.
- 32:54Speaker 3: It was a great conswert.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Trust me, you guys wouldn't be There'll be several NF
- 32:57Speaker 1: songs on that ten song playlist.
- 32:59Speaker 3: N F is making your top ten multiple songs. There'd
- 33:02Speaker 3: be a couple F songs that make my top ten.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, I'm still on movies just to and even
- 33:07Speaker 1: right now, like my adult life. Right now, I essentially
- 33:10Speaker 1: just click on my liked songs and I just wear
- 33:13Speaker 1: them out until I'm like, oh, I should just probably
- 33:15Speaker 1: add this one. I'm like, oh, I forgot about that
- 33:16Speaker 1: song type of thing. Like to me, it's like I
- 33:18Speaker 1: can I can kind of not do without music, but
- 33:21Speaker 1: essentially do without music.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Will would have Zezy top, Maroon five would be on.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I guarantee a Maroon five song would be on there,
- 33:29Speaker 2: especially Yeah, yeah, that song you can just sing trying
- 33:34Speaker 2: to think.
- 33:34Speaker 3: What other bands. You're not a big music guy, anyway, No.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Not like that, not like no, yeah, that matter me,
- 33:41Speaker 1: like somebody else can have the aucs. And then if
- 33:43Speaker 1: it's like something I don't like, I can just you know,
- 33:45Speaker 1: make fun or chrip or whatever.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a bit I love music, I truly do,
- 33:49Speaker 2: but I'll it doesn't strain me away from singing. I'm
- 33:52Speaker 2: taking movies, watching movies over same ten I'm choosing to
- 33:58Speaker 2: do the same ten songs. I don't want to get
- 33:59Speaker 2: fucking get put in a blender here.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I think this was a very fairly simple twist. The
- 34:05Speaker 1: question that lasted, however long it lasts. If anything, we'd
- 34:08Speaker 1: like to apologize to our listeners. Right now, we can
- 34:10Speaker 1: do another one. I really enjoyed this, just one.
- 34:13Speaker 4: I'm sure you've been asked before, but would you rather
- 34:16Speaker 4: wait it for me in terms of geta or or
- 34:21Speaker 4: rate it? Four point five?
- 34:25Speaker 3: For sure?
- 34:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 34:27Speaker 3: I don't have much on that phone. I didn't like
- 34:29Speaker 3: that answer, Jack. I know y'all did question. You know why.
- 34:32Speaker 3: I know it was a question. It wasn't a lot
- 34:34Speaker 3: of detailing it.
- 34:35Speaker 4: The question, though, is one I feel like it has
- 34:36Speaker 4: been asked at all the like lunch room tables.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible? Ah?
- 34:45Speaker 3: How aask? Can you fly?
- 34:48Speaker 4: Let's say the speed of an airplane? Yeah, like you're
- 34:56Speaker 4: not going from like here to this side of the
- 34:58Speaker 4: world in a few seconds.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Not jumping, not jumping. No, but on you you can
- 35:03Speaker 3: just fly on wherever I think. Yeah, there's no gas.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Maybe you just fly as long as you want. What
- 35:08Speaker 2: are we doing with the situation of the government. Let's
- 35:13Speaker 2: just say you can fly.
- 35:14Speaker 3: You see a guy fucking rip it through the air,
- 35:15Speaker 3: you're gonna call the police.
- 35:17Speaker 5: Let's just imagine it's legal and there's no problems. You
- 35:19Speaker 5: can just fly just like there's no you can't not
- 35:21Speaker 5: going to get an accident with.
- 35:22Speaker 2: The red lights like this one is more difficult. Jack
- 35:25Speaker 2: kind of down from fifteen time out.
- 35:31Speaker 3: That's tough.
- 35:32Speaker 1: It's like, can we start leveraging our flying of ability
- 35:34Speaker 1: to be superheroes?
- 35:35Speaker 3: No question?
- 35:36Speaker 1: You know what I mean, like in the public eye.
- 35:41Speaker 1: So I'm saying, if we get to, you know, leverage.
- 35:43Speaker 3: It that way.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah, what kind of play are we talking about? We
- 35:45Speaker 2: tell me like a small excess No One, Eddy two?
- 35:47Speaker 2: Or are we talking about a fighter jet?
- 35:49Speaker 3: Yeah? Like you're flying fast, you're not just cruising. Yeah,
- 35:53Speaker 3: fighter jet and no gas than something to think about
- 35:57Speaker 3: you ready, I'm ready? Yeah, Jack from fifteen? You want fifteen?
- 36:06Speaker 7: What you want like seven and a half seven and
- 36:08Speaker 7: a half seven and a half seven six, five four
- 36:14Speaker 7: three two one fly?
- 36:22Speaker 3: Anybody say different? I didn't think so much being invisible
- 36:27Speaker 3: would be fucking cool.
- 36:28Speaker 4: I mean a lot of perks of being invisible, yeah, huge,
- 36:32Speaker 4: and flying is very convenient. Invisibility, you can really do
- 36:37Speaker 4: whatever you want, Like if you go rob a bank
- 36:40Speaker 4: today and no one will know.
- 36:42Speaker 1: But also I think that's a slippery slope, not robbing
- 36:44Speaker 1: a bank, but the minute you're able to become invisible,
- 36:47Speaker 1: sometimes you're gonna be in those situations and be like,
- 36:49Speaker 1: I wonder if I leave this room, if anybody's gonna
- 36:51Speaker 1: say anything, then you'll want to be invisible and hear
- 36:53Speaker 1: what people say. And maybe you don't want to hear
- 36:54Speaker 1: what they're gonna say. Then you open yourself up to
- 36:56Speaker 1: vulnerabilities that might lead to that bank robbery, It might
- 36:59Speaker 1: lead to all the things where you're just isolated and
- 37:02Speaker 1: you just you just fucking like hate.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Life, right, Yeah, Like I feel like you just you
- 37:09Speaker 3: go off, go on Hey.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Jackson, Yo, that's a little fucking and then you're kind
- 37:16Speaker 1: of like, oh damn Dode, these people really fuck with me.
- 37:18Speaker 1: And then I just feel like you go off on
- 37:19Speaker 1: this lone wolf mission one day to ultimately like die alone.
- 37:24Speaker 5: I feel like invisibility is kind of bad for the mentals. Yeah,
- 37:29Speaker 5: you're gonna be just thinking about what they're close to.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Like hearing the way people think about you having the
- 37:32Speaker 1: superpower to like hear what they say.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, that's a good point, very valid.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I probably take flung yeah, because I was thinking about invisible,
- 37:40Speaker 1: so like, man, it would be cool, Like it was
- 37:43Speaker 1: a harder question than the first question in my opinion.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Get anywhere, leave anywhere at any point.
- 37:47Speaker 1: But it's also like, oh, you could be invisible and
- 37:49Speaker 1: like being rooms of like hearing things that you might
- 37:52Speaker 1: not want to hear.
- 37:55Speaker 2: The fair fair point, but alien fifty one allions are
- 38:00Speaker 2: officially good.
- 38:01Speaker 3: But we officially know aliens are real. Like what else
- 38:03Speaker 3: is there to know?
- 38:05Speaker 5: All the other conspiracy theories that are out there, Bigfoot,
- 38:08Speaker 5: Denver Airport.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Nine to eleven, you said it, not me, JFK, flat Earth,
- 38:15Speaker 2: Morris people, lizard people.
- 38:18Speaker 5: I mean, you could be a part of all those
- 38:20Speaker 5: conversations as well, what are you gonna do with it?
- 38:24Speaker 3: Right, guys?
- 38:25Speaker 2: I know, and then you're just a crazy conspiracy theorist
- 38:27Speaker 2: and telling everybody, Hey, JFK was actually killed by the mafia,
- 38:31Speaker 2: until you have.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Somebody holds a camera and you literally just boom being
- 38:35Speaker 1: visible on them and then explain your contacts, and then
- 38:37Speaker 1: it's up for left up for interpretation of people being
- 38:39Speaker 1: like is that real or not? It's like, we'll come
- 38:41Speaker 1: find out Friday, ten bucks a pop. We're gonna be
- 38:43Speaker 1: selling out Nissan Stadium. You can see me going visible there.
- 38:47Speaker 1: That's a great point, brother, I mean, that's you need
- 38:49Speaker 1: to prove you're an invisible cat. Like this is what
- 38:52Speaker 1: I'm hearing. Yeah, you want You're gonna.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Be assassin in fifteen days, no question, no question. Right,
- 38:58Speaker 2: you're right, and I'll be less than that. I'm just thinking,
- 39:00Speaker 2: maybe my boy can get away a little because they'll
- 39:01Speaker 2: get invisible.
- 39:02Speaker 5: Do you want people to know that you're in you
- 39:04Speaker 5: can go in visible.
- 39:04Speaker 2: We'd sleep in visible because sometimes I get scared at night.
- 39:06Speaker 2: I'm thinking if they can't see me, you know, Like,
- 39:11Speaker 2: have you guys seen the movie Mystery Men? DoD that's
- 39:15Speaker 2: a solid movie and Stiller's in it. It's like these
- 39:18Speaker 2: like makeshift heroes and one guy as a black dude.
- 39:20Speaker 2: He's like he can only become invisible if no one's looking,
- 39:25Speaker 2: and it shit's It's a decent little.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Movie, dude.
- 39:28Speaker 2: One guy like throws throws objects and you can stick
- 39:32Speaker 2: it in anything, but he decides to use spoons instead
- 39:34Speaker 2: of knives and forks.
- 39:36Speaker 3: It's a fucking deal. It's a funny movie. That movie
- 39:39Speaker 3: gave me night verses a kid. I like that one Jack.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Does anybody go invisible? Over flying Joe? Microphone? Make sure
- 39:50Speaker 3: they put it up to your lips this time.
- 39:53Speaker 8: I feel like if I could go invisible, I wouldn't
- 39:56Speaker 8: have to care what anybody thought. I'll just have it
- 39:59Speaker 8: in this conversation you and be like I don't like this,
- 40:01Speaker 8: don't but you're still there. Yeah, but I'm not really
- 40:04Speaker 8: because you can't see me. Especially if you don't know
- 40:08Speaker 8: someone can go invisible, you'd be busy all the time.
- 40:10Speaker 3: People would be wanting to hire you all the time.
- 40:12Speaker 8: You'd be working all the time.
- 40:14Speaker 2: You're also assassinated, dude, and then people find out. Maybe
- 40:18Speaker 2: flying I think is so dope, Like if I have
- 40:19Speaker 2: no gas tank.
- 40:20Speaker 3: I'ze as.
- 40:21Speaker 8: If I can go invisible, I can operate in a
- 40:24Speaker 8: way that keeps anyone from knowing. I can go invisible.
- 40:26Speaker 8: If I can fly, I'm super visible. Let's you get
- 40:30Speaker 8: up there. Yeah, but then they just shoot me.
- 40:33Speaker 2: True, but you're as fast as a fighter jets too,
- 40:35Speaker 2: and you're fucking I don't know. Yeah, all right, we're
- 40:40Speaker 2: getting ahead and Adam and basically get into.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Yeah, get into the episode. L youman.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Before we start this episode, we're gonna talk to you
- 40:46Speaker 2: about Duke Canon. We like to talk to you about
- 40:48Speaker 2: your shower game.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Four a minute. Here's a fact.
- 40:49Speaker 2: The body worse you're using right now is weak, water
- 40:52Speaker 2: down and probably smells like a JV locker room. Simply put,
- 40:54Speaker 2: it's not getting the job done. The boys get a
- 40:57Speaker 2: shower of substance after a hard day's work, and that's
- 41:00Speaker 2: why we use thick, high viscosity body wash.
- 41:03Speaker 3: From Duke Cannon. Thicker is better.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Duke Cannons thick body wash is built to work hard
- 41:08Speaker 2: and not spew down the drain. All of our sense
- 41:10Speaker 2: are amazing, but my personal favorite is Midnight Swim. It
- 41:13Speaker 2: smells like a cannonball into a moonlit lake, not a
- 41:16Speaker 2: dip in the hot tub at a Starlit motel. Obviously,
- 41:20Speaker 2: as always be a proponent of the dry ice. Can't
- 41:23Speaker 2: get enough of this stuff, especially in the summer heat. Man,
- 41:25Speaker 2: it is getting hot, especially this weekend. Did you see
- 41:26Speaker 2: that It's like ninety eight degrees this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.
- 41:29Speaker 3: We might die. You have to try Duke Cannon.
- 41:32Speaker 2: So for a limited time, we're hooking the Boys up
- 41:33Speaker 2: with a twenty percent off your first order at Duke
- 41:36Speaker 2: Cannon dot com. Dukecannon dot com with code the Boys
- 41:40Speaker 2: twenty at twenty percent off when you use code the
- 41:42Speaker 2: Boys twenty at Duke Cannon dot com. Duke Cannon Work Harder,
- 41:46Speaker 2: Smell Better. The only company we've ever bullied into stop
- 41:49Speaker 2: using their one phrase into a new phrase.
- 41:51Speaker 3: I love that.
- 41:53Speaker 2: With that being said, Will has already broken down the
- 41:55Speaker 2: Foster Morow episode. Phenomenal.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Dude.
- 41:58Speaker 2: It's an emotional episode. It's a lot of fun. I
- 42:01Speaker 2: don't think he's done a lot of speaking on this subject.
- 42:04Speaker 2: He was gonna be really enlightening for a lot of people. Yeah,
- 42:07Speaker 2: it'll be awesome.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Yeah what that said? Did you tear up in that
- 42:09Speaker 3: one or is it just me? I teared up when
- 42:13Speaker 3: you tear it up? Dohn'et like seeing your best friends.
- 42:16Speaker 3: I know, I know it's always a tough yeah, but
- 42:18Speaker 3: in that moment I had to be strong for you.
- 42:20Speaker 4: I did.
- 42:21Speaker 3: I was so thrown off by it. I do ad
- 42:22Speaker 3: a moment ago. Are you good?
- 42:24Speaker 1: Dog?
- 42:24Speaker 3: I know?
- 42:24Speaker 1: Trust me. I was in the same kind of like headspace.
- 42:26Speaker 1: There's like this weird mix of whatever it was. It
- 42:29Speaker 1: was just happening fun intro today. Boys, I really enjoyed
- 42:32Speaker 1: the would you rathers?
- 42:33Speaker 2: I think we should keep that thing going unless somebody
- 42:35Speaker 2: in the comments wants to tell us something otherwise. With
- 42:37Speaker 2: that being said, please enjoy this episode. Big hugs, tiny kisses.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Let us know when we're uh, get it close to
- 42:50Speaker 1: your mouth. You know this works now wearing you see
- 42:56Speaker 1: the wrist.
- 42:57Speaker 3: I saw the rist. The thing is nice. You're talking
- 43:00Speaker 3: into the mic, JP, you got him? Is that good enough? Test? One? Two?
- 43:03Speaker 3: One two? Foster out a question for us. I did, uh.
- 43:09Speaker 6: Well, it was actually a question for Will, but I'll
- 43:11Speaker 6: put you both on the spot. What's the first letter
- 43:13Speaker 6: in or derves?
- 43:14Speaker 1: Hey, that's what I was gonna guess too, you're gonna
- 43:17Speaker 1: guess a Okay, hang on, you're a joke. I'm glad
- 43:20Speaker 1: you Yeah, yeah, very good, very good, very good. So
- 43:23Speaker 1: the real answer, oh, hang on uh.
- 43:29Speaker 7: Or E.
- 43:33Speaker 3: No, it's an H.
- 43:35Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure it's an H.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Or.
- 43:39Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure it's I think it's Also, it's not
- 43:42Speaker 6: one word. I'm pretty sure it's like separate words, yeah,
- 43:45Speaker 6: or or yeah, like h O R maybe D E
- 43:49Speaker 6: dash d E and then.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Or yeah something I'll tell you what jps you nervous
- 44:00Speaker 3: for a second on the night. I don't know if
- 44:01Speaker 3: it is an age items before dinner, that's uh, appetizers.
- 44:07Speaker 6: Yeah, starters, starters if you were Kapa singles, Yeah, yeah,
- 44:12Speaker 6: that one.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Starts to a day. Yeah, I wondering like that. I
- 44:15Speaker 1: can spell too rare? Well, yeah, gorgeous, it's not gonna block. Well, no,
- 44:22Speaker 1: you're perfect, you're great. Well, I got a couple of
- 44:24Speaker 1: cameras over here, now yeah, well he's got Yeah, you
- 44:26Speaker 1: got a few.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Good, it's good at.
- 44:28Speaker 1: That one standalone boy right there? Which one over over there? Yeah,
- 44:31Speaker 1: that's the way. Yeah, and then if you want to
- 44:33Speaker 1: look directly at a camera, be up on that one
- 44:35Speaker 1: right there awesome public statement.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Last time you gus did a part together. I wasn't
- 44:39Speaker 3: on it.
- 44:40Speaker 2: You were, you were bringing that up, but you brought
- 44:42Speaker 2: that up lot we first knew what was the thing
- 44:44Speaker 2: that came up that was like a controversial thing with
- 44:47Speaker 2: something about A Night's Tale.
- 44:49Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, so he asked me what the what the
- 44:51Speaker 6: top three sports movies were, and my brain shut off
- 44:56Speaker 6: for a quick second. Yeah, so I had to just
- 44:58Speaker 6: bring it back and think about something that I could
- 44:59Speaker 6: tell story about maybe just kind of like reset the
- 45:02Speaker 6: mood in the tempo.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Uh.
- 45:04Speaker 6: What I wound up doing was going with A Night's Tale,
- 45:06Speaker 6: which famously does have jousting in it.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think it has more than just jousting? Well,
- 45:12Speaker 2: you had to hand compacts. Yeah, love making. I'm sure
- 45:15Speaker 2: I haven't seen it a long time sport. Yeah, some
- 45:20Speaker 2: good love making, just some who's the guy? Who's the
- 45:23Speaker 2: guy in the movie.
- 45:25Speaker 3: He Pleasure? There's one movie he does when he's a cowboy.
- 45:28Speaker 3: There's some pretty good scenes in there. I don't know
- 45:30Speaker 3: if i've seen that tops.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's yeah three Yeah, it's romantic movies of all time. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 2: there's no question, no question. You see the passion. God,
- 45:40Speaker 2: bless those gods, those horses. I don't know if you
- 45:43Speaker 2: had to look it up for us, What sports movie
- 45:45Speaker 2: is your favorite genre? No?
- 45:46Speaker 3: I knew what it was. Sports movies your favorite genres?
- 45:50Speaker 1: Uh?
- 45:51Speaker 6: Maybe not necessary, not necessarily. I like I like action, Yeah,
- 45:55Speaker 6: I think, yeah, what's like your what's like your go
- 45:57Speaker 6: to action boy and anything with Denzel in it?
- 46:01Speaker 3: Yeah, Denzel over Will Smith as far as yo, yes
- 46:05Speaker 3: black actor?
- 46:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I mean that's the argument. Yeah, no,
- 46:09Speaker 1: that was what would you take more?
- 46:10Speaker 3: Who would you even?
- 46:11Speaker 6: I don't even know if I don't even know if
- 46:13Speaker 6: that's I don't even know if that's those two are necessarily.
- 46:15Speaker 6: I think Denzel's definitely on there. I don't know if
- 46:18Speaker 6: I don't know if Will's on there.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Really, I feel like I feel like Will's got better
- 46:22Speaker 2: range than Denzel. Really, I mean think of Denzel's kind
- 46:27Speaker 2: of okay, all right, yeah, every single movie?
- 46:30Speaker 3: Yeah, will he can do?
- 46:32Speaker 6: Are you saying that Denzel Washington plays himself and everyone
- 46:35Speaker 6: but similarly to the rock and you know guys like
- 46:39Speaker 6: that Reynolds exactly, Ryan Reynolds.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Until very recently Detective he did, uh Cell Block nine
- 46:49Speaker 2: and then there was one other movie he did.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Park or The Lost World, The Lost and Lost with
- 46:56Speaker 3: the New Right.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think that I think will Smith has
- 47:02Speaker 2: more range as far as like when you can dip
- 47:04Speaker 2: into he can dip into comedy.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Definitely gifts into comedy.
- 47:06Speaker 6: But I don't I don't know if he's dipped into comedy,
- 47:08Speaker 6: uh for necessarily uh like movies. I mean he was
- 47:15Speaker 6: obviously famous in The Fresh Prince Right.
- 47:18Speaker 3: But like a Shark Tale, it's hilarious.
- 47:20Speaker 6: Oh yes, No, shark Tail shark Tail Suicide Squad's a
- 47:23Speaker 6: bit of a com I mean, hitches.
- 47:24Speaker 3: It is a great movie. Yeah, Yeah, I can't see
- 47:27Speaker 3: Denzel doing a rom com. No, it's not a style. Man.
- 47:31Speaker 1: He's no equalizer. He fucking is the equalizer. God, he's
- 47:35Speaker 1: a great man.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Who do you prefer?
- 47:36Speaker 4: Who?
- 47:37Speaker 3: Who do you got on the list? What do I
- 47:38Speaker 3: prefer to watch? I prefer to watch Denzel.
- 47:40Speaker 2: If I'm saying who has a better maybe has more
- 47:42Speaker 2: of an arsenal as an actor, would probably go Will
- 47:44Speaker 2: Smith overde Yeah, he's had a bigger bag.
- 47:47Speaker 3: He's had a bigger bag. Benzel's got sharper tools. I mean,
- 47:50Speaker 3: look at.
- 47:51Speaker 1: These, I mean, look at these the equalizer, right, if
- 47:54Speaker 1: you did you see Flight phenomenal for.
- 47:56Speaker 6: An unbelievable movie. Obviously obviously Training Day American gang Absolutely,
- 48:01Speaker 6: I wasn't a big fan of American Gangster. I thought
- 48:04Speaker 6: there was a lot of meat left on the bone
- 48:05Speaker 6: in that movie. I don't think I was crazy about
- 48:07Speaker 6: The Book of You. I I watched it, goe. I
- 48:10Speaker 6: watched it twice, and I was like, I was just
- 48:12Speaker 6: a little I started a little confused, and I stayed
- 48:14Speaker 6: a little confused.
- 48:15Speaker 3: That's no, no, not at all.
- 48:17Speaker 6: I love Jesus, all right, will were saying before it's
- 48:22Speaker 6: confirmed in the Catholic faith that I loved Jesus.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Remember the Titans? Unbelievable? Didn't the Man? Was that one
- 48:28Speaker 3: of your top three? No?
- 48:29Speaker 6: It was not, It's it was not. I mean, could be,
- 48:32Speaker 6: should be. I didn't watch it at an early enough
- 48:34Speaker 6: age to where it had that impact on me.
- 48:37Speaker 2: See I was, I was right at that age, and
- 48:38Speaker 2: I just it was so overplayed for me that I
- 48:40Speaker 2: took it out of my top three.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Have you seen the movie Goon? I've not the most
- 48:46Speaker 3: inspirational sports movie you'll ever watch in your entire life.
- 48:48Speaker 6: I don't know if that's is that true? Are you
- 48:51Speaker 6: You're dead serious?
- 48:52Speaker 3: That's in Taylor's brain. Okay, that's fine. Love No, I
- 48:56Speaker 3: love that. I love that. I mean Doug the Thug, Glatt,
- 48:59Speaker 3: Ross the Boss Ray, I mean rock epic fight at
- 49:02Speaker 3: the Dude. That fight scene with those two at the
- 49:04Speaker 3: end of the movie is way better than any Rocky fight.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Best Rocky movie, or probably typical answer. Well, I think,
- 49:13Speaker 1: I think, uh, usually the masses aren't wrong, right, that
- 49:15Speaker 1: is the typical answer. That's like the main stream the
- 49:18Speaker 1: last answer. Man my favorite Rocky movie. It's hard to
- 49:22Speaker 1: beat the original, the story behind it all, But my
- 49:25Speaker 1: favorite to watch is three.
- 49:28Speaker 3: That's great. Warrior is a better movie than all of
- 49:31Speaker 3: the Rocky movies. Was that too?
- 49:35Speaker 4: Was that?
- 49:35Speaker 3: I mean?
- 49:36Speaker 2: I feel like, right, okay, as long as I made
- 49:39Speaker 2: you think, I didn't want to look stupid. But also,
- 49:40Speaker 2: if I'm on a Southwest fight and there's twenty twenty
- 49:42Speaker 2: minutes lifts in the flight and I can't really watch
- 49:44Speaker 2: anything else, I'll watch all the rest of the fight scenes,
- 49:47Speaker 2: all the fight scenes in the movie, and then that
- 49:49Speaker 2: last part.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Just tap Tommy, I love you God. It makes you emotionally,
- 49:54Speaker 1: and that's an insane take, is it. Yeah, I'm willing
- 49:58Speaker 1: to stand stand on that. Want a stand on that.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Everyone's different, Everyone's a lot different in this corner. No, no,
- 50:04Speaker 2: you're divided.
- 50:07Speaker 3: I'll throw out a crazy bad take. And I know
- 50:11Speaker 3: it's a bad take. But you have seen all the
- 50:13Speaker 3: Creed movies.
- 50:14Speaker 7: No not.
- 50:15Speaker 3: I didn't wantch the last one, so I didn't see
- 50:17Speaker 3: the third one. I didn't see the third one.
- 50:18Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure it's in the uh in the second
- 50:21Speaker 6: one when he comes back to be Ivan Drago's son. Yeah, right,
- 50:25Speaker 6: becomes spoilers if you haven't seen it, Fuck you, I'm
- 50:30Speaker 6: getting spoiled right now.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 50:31Speaker 6: Uh, I mean, it's fucking it's obvious the whole anyway.
- 50:35Speaker 3: That's ridiculous.
- 50:35Speaker 6: As he's as he's coming back, as he's coming back
- 50:40Speaker 6: in the fight and drops Drago for the first time,
- 50:43Speaker 6: the rocky theme starts playing, and right now I'm getting
- 50:47Speaker 6: chills thinking about it. But like that, in the entirety
- 50:51Speaker 6: of the Creed series. When I heard that rocky theme
- 50:54Speaker 6: playing for Apollo Creed's son.
- 50:58Speaker 3: I was like, holy ship is unbelievable. This is great.
- 51:01Speaker 3: That was what it was to take. Though you said,
- 51:03Speaker 3: this is a terrible take.
- 51:04Speaker 6: That's my favorite moment from that line of movies. I'm
- 51:08Speaker 6: and I was from Creed, are all? It sounds like
- 51:11Speaker 6: definitely from definitely from Creed, but it's only from it
- 51:15Speaker 6: being from Rocky Okay, if we're gonna.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Do unpopular takes as a start of this show, I
- 51:20Speaker 2: am willing to stand ten toes down on this. The
- 51:23Speaker 2: Fast and the Furious series is fucking garbage and I
- 51:26Speaker 2: can't stand it. It's been bad for a long time
- 51:28Speaker 2: and I'm talking about one all the way through. Brother,
- 51:31Speaker 2: I am not a fan of those movies. I am,
- 51:34Speaker 2: and I'm willing to take the heat on that. Nope,
- 51:38Speaker 2: come on, cuh no, forget about it. Cu That ship
- 51:42Speaker 2: is garbage.
- 51:44Speaker 3: That is tough. Anything you got any anything, anything, any
- 51:47Speaker 3: bad takes you have?
- 51:48Speaker 1: I'm sure, I'm sure, but I can't think of any
- 51:50Speaker 1: right now. In this moment, it seemed like conspiracy theory. Guys,
- 51:54Speaker 1: there's no Yeah, well, I mean you know, are you?
- 51:57Speaker 3: You obviously said he didn't believe in climate change five
- 52:00Speaker 3: minutes ago?
- 52:01Speaker 6: What a great guy. He's my favorite. He's my favorite.
- 52:05Speaker 6: He's an unbelievable human being. Uh yeah, you're you're a
- 52:08Speaker 6: parent are you also a parent? You were in the
- 52:10Speaker 6: Girl that had a parent? A parent?
- 52:13Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, I'm your with the two children, beautiful.
- 52:17Speaker 3: That's a guardian, yeah, guardian. Yeah.
- 52:19Speaker 6: So, uh, I know it probably hasn't gotten to this
- 52:23Speaker 6: point yet for either of you. But you don't tell
- 52:25Speaker 6: your kids the whole truth, the absolute truth, and nothing
- 52:28Speaker 6: but the truth.
- 52:29Speaker 3: I'm sure.
- 52:30Speaker 6: I'm sure there's some stuff that you on the subject
- 52:32Speaker 6: you probably leave out at certain points. I mean, I'm
- 52:34Speaker 6: not saying like that this is a black hat and
- 52:38Speaker 6: this is a no, but like there are certain things
- 52:40Speaker 6: you probably leave to them to find out later in life.
- 52:43Speaker 3: I'm sure.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Yeah, probably more in your sage, Georgia, I mean, yeah,
- 52:46Speaker 1: you talk yet I got what I'm saying, like cus out,
- 52:48Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, That's what I'm saying.
- 52:50Speaker 6: But well, in terms of in terms of the government,
- 52:52Speaker 6: I'm sure there's I'm sure we're not being told the
- 52:55Speaker 6: absolute truth in all scenarios.
- 52:58Speaker 3: There's got to be some.
- 52:58Speaker 6: Stuff that's well, there's some secret it's obviously obviously hidden
- 53:01Speaker 6: from us common folk.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Yeah, And I love talking conspiracy theories, but I always
- 53:05Speaker 2: fall back on like I don't need to know everything
- 53:08Speaker 2: it's fun to talk about. Hey, JFK was a boy,
- 53:10Speaker 2: the c the moon landing was fake, blah blah blah.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Nine eleven was inside job. When your guys everyone's talking
- 53:15Speaker 2: about that stuff. Yeah, at the end of the day, brother, Like,
- 53:18Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't think we should know everything.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we don't need to know it all.
- 53:21Speaker 3: No, I don't need to. I don't want to know.
- 53:23Speaker 3: I just don't think it'll do a whole lot. I
- 53:24Speaker 3: don't want to know.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Like, the most wild ship that happened in the twenties
- 53:29Speaker 2: is they're like, hey, by the way, guys, aliens are real,
- 53:31Speaker 2: and everyone's like, have you seen inflation though?
- 53:33Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 53:34Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, talk about the stock market, yeah yeah, it's
- 53:36Speaker 6: just about the value of a dollar.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's nuts. But the aliens.
- 53:40Speaker 1: You saw the saw the aliens. Yeah, I saw the
- 53:42Speaker 1: fucking aliens, dude. You saw the what was it the
- 53:45Speaker 1: video in Las Vegas?
- 53:46Speaker 3: Vegas?
- 53:47Speaker 8: Right?
- 53:47Speaker 3: The police officers, dude.
- 53:50Speaker 1: I mean I wish we could there could have been
- 53:52Speaker 1: they would have gotten that backyard quick enough.
- 53:54Speaker 3: This camera cuts off at certain points.
- 53:56Speaker 6: Yeah, it's weird. That's a weird we go I'll tell
- 53:58Speaker 6: you what this moner or is is unbelievable. It's a
- 54:01Speaker 6: nice brand new I'm fucking I'm no, it's not.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, there's me that thing is brand new.
- 54:07Speaker 3: We've known about aliens though for a long time.
- 54:09Speaker 6: Yeah, no way, yeah I had. Yeah, it had to
- 54:13Speaker 6: be could have been anything else.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Yeah, man, that's a drone show. Science is based on
- 54:18Speaker 1: a true story. Of all the conspiracy theories. What's your favorite,
- 54:23Speaker 1: what's the craziest the Do you a lizard?
- 54:26Speaker 2: People?
- 54:27Speaker 3: Guy?
- 54:28Speaker 2: No, I'm not a lizard. People get the The Denver
- 54:30Speaker 2: Airport is a good one. The Denver Airport is a
- 54:33Speaker 2: terrible airport.
- 54:35Speaker 1: It's a bad talk to me, educme me on the
- 54:36Speaker 1: Denver Airport conspiracy.
- 54:39Speaker 6: So there's just such a number of world powers and
- 54:42Speaker 6: world leaders I think that have bought property in or
- 54:47Speaker 6: around that specific airport.
- 54:50Speaker 3: I'm talking like because there is nothing around there.
- 54:52Speaker 6: I'm talking about like I'm talking about like doomsday bunker shit,
- 54:56Speaker 6: like yeah, like the Queen of England, the Prime Minister's
- 55:00Speaker 6: the uh, the different presidents, and then well you have
- 55:04Speaker 6: all that stuff that's on the surface, but that's real.
- 55:06Speaker 6: People like you could know that you could look at
- 55:08Speaker 6: like the records that's that's actually happened. But there's uh,
- 55:11Speaker 6: there's murals and paintings on the walls of the airport
- 55:15Speaker 6: as you're walking through that depict like yeah, semi demonic
- 55:19Speaker 6: type things that like satanic worship type stuff. Oh yeah,
- 55:27Speaker 6: there's that weird horse in the front too that people
- 55:29Speaker 6: don't like.
- 55:29Speaker 3: Lily, you'll walk my signs.
- 55:31Speaker 2: And I'll say like, hey, yeah, don't talk about the
- 55:32Speaker 2: lizard people.
- 55:33Speaker 1: It'll just make something that says, don't talk about lizard
- 55:35Speaker 1: people or something like that. Yeah, you were in the
- 55:37Speaker 1: Denver airport in March. I think I vaguely now remember
- 55:41Speaker 1: when we were on the car ride and we were
- 55:43Speaker 1: somebody made a comment and money with me like there's
- 55:44Speaker 1: nothing out here or somebody and.
- 55:46Speaker 3: Maybe it was was it U JB. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 55:53Speaker 3: I don't really think the whole lizard people think.
- 55:55Speaker 6: There's no there's a couple of murals, not like ads.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's an actual ab. Yeah they hired that lizard.
- 56:05Speaker 6: Oh and yeah, there's people who own like squares of
- 56:09Speaker 6: squares of land around like just high high ranking people.
- 56:12Speaker 6: The highest ranking people in the world own like small
- 56:15Speaker 6: little squares, so like people have basically theorized that there
- 56:20Speaker 6: are doom state bunkers there and in the case of yeah,
- 56:24Speaker 6: that's that's one of them, knife on the on the pigeon,
- 56:30Speaker 6: which the pigeon is peace or something like not sure,
- 56:35Speaker 6: but that. I mean, that's a fucking terrifying little photo.
- 56:38Speaker 6: Just walk around with your like five year old daughter and.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Be like, no doubt that, especially when you're stuck in
- 56:43Speaker 1: the fucking brutal security lines there, like figure that ship
- 56:46Speaker 1: out exactly.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we're just trying to dollars over budget. Came as
- 56:51Speaker 3: a line.
- 56:51Speaker 6: Yeah, struggling through a fourteen hour layover because San Francisco
- 56:57Speaker 6: can't take your flight right now.
- 56:59Speaker 3: In anyway anyway, I like that. I like I would
- 57:03Speaker 3: buy some stock in that. That's no, that's a cool one.

- 58:20Speaker 3: We're all white? Yeah, well yeah, let's get the obviously.
- 58:23Speaker 6: Yeah no, we're all white. I was making sure we're
- 58:26Speaker 6: all we all have verniers. Oh yeah, minor, minor, yeah, minor,
- 58:30Speaker 6: a little less obvious than yours, and definitely yours. Yeah,
- 58:35Speaker 6: they look good though, they do know, they really look good.
- 58:37Speaker 6: Why why did you get yours done?
- 58:39Speaker 3: When? Or why when?
- 58:41Speaker 2: Uh?
- 58:42Speaker 6: Twenty eighteen? Was this aster the after the LSU debacle?
- 58:45Speaker 6: Exactly right. I can't tell that story though, for legal reasons.
- 58:48Speaker 6: So that is a clipping.
- 58:51Speaker 3: Hang on, no, hang on, no, I can't. I can't.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Regardless, you told a story about you getting in a
- 58:56Speaker 1: fight last time.
- 58:57Speaker 3: You're oh, no, that wasn't it. No, that wasn't it.
- 58:59Speaker 3: It's a different one. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Can you
- 59:01Speaker 3: have some glyph notes? You know? Basically?
- 59:05Speaker 6: Uh, you know, there was some you know, you know,
- 59:10Speaker 6: it was just there was some stuff that happened that
- 59:12Speaker 6: caused me to, you know, per se, lose some teeth.
- 59:18Speaker 6: It wasn't a fight, though it was. It was with
- 59:20Speaker 6: equipment and I had to get him, had to get
- 59:23Speaker 6: him replaced. I had a I have a nasty.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Photo of it. Nasty.
- 59:27Speaker 6: You can't talk about it was my lip was my
- 59:29Speaker 6: lip was cut in half.
- 59:30Speaker 3: I just I can't do it. Are we talking about
- 59:33Speaker 3: a weight we're talking about in the weight room.
- 59:36Speaker 6: It could have been could have been there, It would
- 59:38Speaker 6: have been on the practice field, It could have been
- 59:40Speaker 6: in a.
- 59:40Speaker 3: Rose a bar wire snapped, came back at you in
- 59:42Speaker 3: the mouth.
- 59:43Speaker 6: It could have been something I don't talk about for
- 59:45Speaker 6: legal reasons because that school's involved.
- 59:46Speaker 3: Get that beard. Was this a Fred's thing? Did you
- 59:50Speaker 3: get smacked because the wire broke?
- 59:53Speaker 4: No?
- 59:54Speaker 3: No, I don't think so.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I don't remember. I don't remember. I don't remember what happened.
- 59:58Speaker 1: I don't remember. But that was That was an interesting time.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I'll talk about it though, legal reasons.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: While we're on LSU, though, is that not the most
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: insane town of all time when it comes to college sports?
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: And you know we it's about to get crazier. We're
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: meeting up with I think we're meeting up with Todd Graves.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: I think a little later, and he's just touring the
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: country from uh he's up in Omaha right now, where
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: obviously the LSU baseball team is trying to buy for
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: a national championship.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Didn't they just lose to the wait for Us last night?
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: They did? Yeah? Three to two.
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: Controversial strike zone, cod very controversial strike zone. I've seen
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: it all on Twitter. Yeah three to two game I
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: believe scored bottom of the eighth interesting, interesting game. Yeah,
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: Todd Graves, it's an unbelievable, unbelievable time.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Why is it about to get better?
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: Because well, Todd Graves will be here, the fucking owner
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: of I'm sorry, Todd Graves is the owner of Canes
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: chicken fingers, and which he'll blows.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Out of the waters is number one in the chicken
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: fingers category.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: Canes is fucking unbelievable. Every owner of that ever since
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: I was a little kid, we do, uh, we'd tail
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: get all the l Shue games and we'd have like
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: a bunch of friends over. But we do like a
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: big like twenty five piece or fifty piece, like chicken
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: tender with I mean two little Texas toast boxes full
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: of their cane sauce.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: It was just number one, right, I'm sick raising Canes
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: chicken fingers.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: Of all the chicken fingers, of all the chicken food.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: It's not even close.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Most likely it is not even close, Like stuff caniact
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: not the slaw for an extra piece of.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Toast slat buttered on both sides, Bob oh, I did
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: not know that creak or both sides extra sauce.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Now when you when you take down the canes, you
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: funnel out the Texas toast a little bit, put the
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: piece of chicken in there, and then drizzle it up
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: like it's a hot dog.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: It's a it's a it's a good concept. I just
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I don't do it. Taylor did teach me that last
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: time we write it was nice. I me, it is nice.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: It's good anytime you can get like chicken in between
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: some bread, especially some butter bread like the Texas Bob. Yeah,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: it's gonna go down. It's gonna go down good either way.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: When you were at LSU, what was the best bar
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: your friends? Guy, Mike's Gky, Bogey's Guy.
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: Uh, it's I love this. By the way, this is tremendous.
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: I started in Bogees one PC. I was big in
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: Bogey's and I remember the first time I blacked out.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: I was I had three pictures of Vegas bombs. Yeah,
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: and I was pouring for everyone. And it wasn't after
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: like a huge game we had just like beaten Syracuse
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: and uh, we came home and it was still kind
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: of early.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: Because it was like it was fucking unmoivable.
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: We had a blast but I blacked out on Vegas
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: bombs and I wound up in like the pregame a
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: girl who hosted a pre game. I ended up in
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: her apartment, on her couch, sleeping, and I woke up
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: the next morning.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Uh, and they didn't know I was there.
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: I woke up to them screaming because I was on
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: their couch and I had no idea how I got there.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: I had no idea how I got there. Was I
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: was shocked. Are you are you an aggressive drunk? Are
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: you like do you like look for fights?
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: No?
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: No, but if they show up, I mean, I who
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: am I to stop you?
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I think there's a wasn't there a nice little story?
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: You're rookie year on the Raiders of Fighting.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: I think like after you guys were having brunch.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: It was like, uh day after a game, you guys
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: went out I think the sand the San Francisco area
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and had a brunch.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: You might have knocked the drink out of the guy
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: a gentleman's hand.
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: Nope, that's not the story. That's not that's not what
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: you're ringing mixing your mixing stories. You're mixing stories. What happened?
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Uh after?
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: I wish Alex was here.
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: I think he's Alec would oh, Alec would sell me
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: down a river in a heartbeat for a for a
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: piece of cheese. I fucking love that man. He's getting
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: married too, real soon, yes, real soon.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: Man. Anyway, we go uh fuck it was it was.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: We go after a Thursday night game.
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: We go across and Alex is gonna do his his
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: like rookie dinner, but it's gonna be a brunch with
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: all the running backs. So I get invited and I
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: had I had a friend in town, and he brought
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: his girlfriend and we were all just hanging out. Long
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: story short, I'm rushing us back to the apartment after
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: I mean an hour and a half, two hours of
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: Mimosa's with no breakfast. So I'm drunk, but I'm fine, right,
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: I'm fine. But some of the people that we have
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: with us aren't, you know, they're just not doing too
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: well and they wind up throwing up all over the
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: back seat of the Uber. No, it's a hundred dollars
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: cleanup fee. One hundred dollars cleanup fee. But I was
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: just so worried that this guy was gonna like say
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: some bad shit about me or do so I paid
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: him five hundred dollars to just kind of keep his
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: mouth shut because we got in the car.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: We got in the car, I shit, you not. And
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: he goes, oh my god, alec Ingold with the Raiders.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: It's unbelievable, and uh, typical Raiders man.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: Yeah, Well, so I got in the car and uh
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: and this guy was just he had Raiders like memorabilia,
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: he had stuff and like it was so cool. And
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: then like one of our friends threw up in his
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: uber and it was like.
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: Oh shit.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: And it was on the weekend of like a big
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: music fest. I don't know what music fest is out
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: there around October, around November October probably sounds right. But yeah,
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: he was probably gonna make a lot more money than
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: that one hundred dollars cleanup fee. Yeah, and he wasn't
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: gonna be able to.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Give ubers because there was just projectile vomit down the
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: passenger seat.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: You know, he was fired up to tell that story.
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: I hope, So, I hope he doesn't hold any hard
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: feeling he's watching I'm sorry.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: Which story? Am I sorry?
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Which story am I missing? With the knocking the drink
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: out of the dude's hand.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: So there was a There was a time we went
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: out and uh, we weren't we weren't looking for trouble,
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: but we were having fun. And uh, eventually we started
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: at a bar, walked around to a couple of different bars,
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: and uh we ended up in the same bar that
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: we were in, and those about fifteen minutes to the
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: last call, we go, Uh, there's probably like ten fifteen
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: football guys in there, right, And I'm like, okay, you know,
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: I'm I'm bored. Not many, not many single women in
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: the bar. I'm gonna just go walk up and go
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: grab us a drink. And I tell Alec, I say
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: watch this.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: I walk up.
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: I'm pushing through like the most annoying frat bros you
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: could even ever imagine. Like I'm just I'm just shoving
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: guys out of the way, just kind of making my
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: way through, almost butterflying through these guys. And eventually I'm
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: pushing my way past a guy and he goes, hey, man,
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: there's a fucking line. I'm like, no, I'm brother, I'm
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: buying what you want? What kind of drink do you what?
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: He's like, oh man, I'll take a Red Bull vodka.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: I'm like, all right, fucking freak. Anyway, I go to
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: the front of the line.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: I order.
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: One Red Bull vodka specifically for this guy.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: I go up.
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: I hand him the Red Bull vodka. He goes, man,
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: you're awesome, bro cheers, and then I fucking knock the
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: drink out of his hand as hard as I could.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: And then I look dead in his eyes, and I say,
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: do something about it, and I walk clean. I walked
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: straight over to my basically twenty one pounds of like
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: pure meaf like beef and muscle, like three old linemen,
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: a D lineman, a D N, two running backs, a
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: couple of wideouts, and alec ingold who accounts for three
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: fucking people on his own.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Yeah, he's got a fucking chin of steel.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: And uh.
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: So we just to sit there and the guy's like
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: he has no idea what he's doing. He's like trying
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: to muster the confidence to come over and say something.
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: And his bro's like, oh, you gotta go. You got
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: to defend yourself. And I was like I was, Oh
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: my god, it was so and he's like, man, you
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: know what happened. And then the bouser comes over and
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: he's like, hey, man, we have a problem. I'm like, yeah, dude,
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: this guy's saying something about me knockingna I'm not going
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: to drink out of his hand. And so the bouser
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: kicks them out and he's like, and the dudes the
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: dude's buddy. Granted, he was the tallest guy, So I'm like,
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: maybe this guy had some semblance of fighting in his background,
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: or he had he had hopefully more conus than his buddy.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: But he said, we'll be waiting outside. I said, good,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I'm a fucking curb stomp you. We'll see what happens.
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: And sure enough, five minutes past they have scattered like
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: fucking roaches when the light turns on.
- 1:08:52Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: But it was fun. That's the story he was talking about. Yeah,
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: and growing.
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: I've grown a lot since then, believe it or not.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: How many years ago is that? Believe it or not?
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: That was twenty minutes ago. That's why I was late. No,
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: that was uh, that was twenty nineteen, I believe twenty nineteen.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that's good. There's a statute of limitations there.
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, it's like that's the I didn't I didn't
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: do anything wrong.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: I bought the drink, I bought the drink.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: You could do whatever you want with that drink once
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: you bought it. And if you happen to hit privileged thinking,
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: I'm sure, I'm just trying to help you out.
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: That's what I've said. That's yeah, that's literally what I'm portraying.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: It's privy.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: And then when the bouncer comes over, we have a problem, like, yeah,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: these these guys at yeah, no, he knew, Yeah, he knew,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: he knew who we were, and he had no idea.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and he probably gotten some shit at ls like that.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: But I feel like they're not ever going to say no.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: I feel like you gotta be scrappy. You're gonna be
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: a white dude in the LSU locker room. Yeah, like
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: the Miami Hurricanes in the nineties. Yeah, like Miami Hurricanes, right. Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: When I had when we were the number two team
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: in the country and we were like eight and ozer
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: about to go play Alabama in Tuscaloosa, I was like, Oh,
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: this is college, this is fun, this is easy. And
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: our locker room was fucking crazy. Not like we're doing
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: bouncing shit off the walls, but the guys in the
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: locker room, like the talent that we had was unbelievable,
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: and these guys out like I didn't know what college was,
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: so I probably couldn't go back to recant on like
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: how these guys were leaders and like actually set a
- 1:10:20Speaker 6: fucking tone. I just thought, this is, oh, this is
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: what college is like. So I could have I'm sure
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: I could have learned a lot more from those guys
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: if I had been fucking paying attention. But I mean,
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: yeah it was and back to the bars. I started
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: in Bogies, blacked out in Bogees, and then.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: A good way to get back you did a good
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: maneuvering back to bogey Yeah.
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: That's it's all full circle, man, That's what it's all about, right.
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:41Speaker 6: Yeah, But Bogey's started and Bogue's went a couple other places.
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: I was at the house for like probably some time
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: in my sophomore year, and there was always those times
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: that I'd see like Ben Simmons just walking in and
- 1:10:53Speaker 6: just being like.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: Tall as fuck, and it was just being himself almost.
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: It was so funny. Uh.
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: We all lived in the same complex over at like
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: it was right off of campus, so we got those
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: off campus stipends. It was barely off of campus, and
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: the fifth floor of that little new facility. It wasn't done,
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: it was still being constructed. Oh my god, it was abysmal.
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: It was unbelievable, and like we as students didn't do
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: a great job of like upkeep and it was oh god,
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: it was bad. But you know, yeah, yeah, Ben Simmons
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: was in there, a few other guys were in there,
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: and I was just I was right in the middle.
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: I was just bad influence after bad influence. I was
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: having a fucking ball. Eventually I wound up making it
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: to Fred's though, who I'm sure you guys know what
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: Fred's is.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: At Hope. We did a show, a live show. There
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: was awesome.
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: Unbelievable, Yes, unbelievable.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: That right there, interacting with everybody at Fred's, you realize
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: you're just said a different You're in a different I.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Mean l s u or Louisiana in general is not
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: the United States. It's a third world country.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: Yeah, compliment, you know, in.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: A mixed I see what you're saying there, under saying,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: it's just different. It's like Quebec of Canada.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. I guess Quebec of America.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: They're literally like, oh, you should have been here last
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: week and we had a midget wrestling thing and you're like,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: you can say that in the end, we're done here.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, Yeah, it's true. No, they do do that.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: That you certainly can't say either. Yeah, but that's uh
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: oh fuck what a fun time. Fuck, what a fun time.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: And it is.
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: It's a fucking blast like you'll have like the frat Dude,
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: the fret boy boxing in the like fact, they had
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: frat boy boxing in the spring on like a Thursday night.
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: I mean, people would come by the thousands to watch
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: these guys put on the box, put on the big mits,
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: right you get to the uh. There were a couple
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: of times where they put on like have you seen
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: those the big fucking box and gloves. Oh my god,
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: you just you just put them on and you'd let
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: like two girls fight. Yeah, And it was unbelievable. It
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: was just the most fun that anyone would have. And
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: then you'd like you'd yeah, sure, you'd cater it by
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: from fucking canes or from uh, from whoever was across
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: the street, right, and it was like, oh, they got
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: the fucking macaroni logs in the back. There's five hundred
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: macaroni logs with cups of ranch and they're like, holy shit,
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: this is gonna be unbelievable night.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Everyone knows what's going on in the town. Just nothing.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, five Zeta Mew fucking put on.
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: What a great performance these guys put on for for
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: frat boxing, it was fucking I'm.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: Gonna be versus France or internally the France.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I think it was internally. Yeah, but holy shit, it
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: wouldn't have been fun if it was not. Yeah, and
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: they have that crown champion at the end. You guys
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: get your best guy.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: We'll get our best guy, right, the one across the
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: streets saying they got the toughest one exactly how to
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: figure this out?
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: Yeah, and like the Yeah, the winners re benefits, you
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: get rewards, and then you're actually looking for some like
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: fucking thick dudes during rush.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: Oh man, what a fun time. Yeah, definitely looking for
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: a thick dude during rush during rush, like they get you.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Going the see we would are Nebraska's never integrated with
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: like the fratu. What is it called, yeah, Greek life,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Greek life like yeah, integrate with the Greek life like that,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: which does seem fun.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Michigan, Michigan Michigan's got a strong Greek life. But Michigan
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: was like they either loved the football team or they
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: hated the football team.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Like you know, you hear about a party to get
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: like in the in like the the Illuminati of Michigan. Yeah,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: like the secret Society. Yeah, but that wasn't really a fraternity.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: I guess it is, but it's not like that. Yeah,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Like Michigan has three different secret societies. It's like Order
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: of Angel Phoenix, and then there's one more.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: I forget what. You don't know where you're going. This
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: sounds bad.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: I got tapped for it one day and it was
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: like an all Like I got tapped at like nine
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: pm at night and I didn't get home till five
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: in the morning, and I had a bag over my
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: head at one point, like it was well calculated. They said, hey,
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: you're getting tapped for this society.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: You inter you're out. You have to say right now
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: if you're in. I was like, all right, I'm in.
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: And then I'm like okay, walk outside.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: They leave me and then I'm waiting there for three
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: four minutes and all of a sudden, some guy with
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: the cell phone walks by. Never see him in my life,
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: and he goes, it's for you, and I have the
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Now I have a random cell phone, and they're making
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: me go different places in the university doing specific things.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: And I end up at this one house and they
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: put a bag over my head and they put this
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: metal music on. They drive me for twenty thirty minutes.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: I have no idea what the actual time, but it
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: was a long time. And they're like forcing me to
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: answer these questions and not forcing me. They're asking me
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: these questions and I'd answered them like that wasn't good enough.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Answer it better, and I'm like trying to figure out
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: what the fuck these people want from me. And then
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: like you go through like a hell weekend. It's get
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: right in the middle of spring ball, and so I
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: would do spring ball and then like right at seven pm,
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: I'd go to wherever I had to go.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: It was all like very secret, like you couldn't tell
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: people what you were doing, Like I couldn't tell my girlfriend.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: Like it was a wild, a wild time. Yeah.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: The whole idea was like taking like the twenty five
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: most influential people, its influential students at the university and
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: putting in one room for the betterment at the university,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: and there's one hundred percent turnover every single year. There's
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: like calls and chants you have to do. There's like
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: you have your name with a jingle behind it, and
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: like how you present yourself. Like there was rules and
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: a whole bunch of stuff you had to follow and
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: you meet secretly like every Monday at ten pm during
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: the like during the school year.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: It was nuts, nuts do it? Yeah, I did the
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: whole thing. You ever told anyone about that? Like, I
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: mean I mentioned it on this pot before. I think
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: I have a whole lot.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: It was wild. Now I could. It's I would love
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: to tell a story, but this is not this podcast.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: No, No, it's fine, it's it's a It was cool though, yeah,
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: because you get to meet all these different people, people
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: you never come across, you know, like they like presidents
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: have been in it before and all that. Like there's
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: a there's a union building in the middle of campus
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: and there's a tower with like three like three floors
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: and they're small, and that used to be for the
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: secret societies and it became like a fire fire issue,
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: so they like now you have the secrets move around.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: There's tunnels in at the University of Michigan during the
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Cold War, and like no one knows about.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Was there ever any friction between you and the Secret
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Society and where you're like, I'm going to take this
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: society down?
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, there was.
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: There was.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: There was a like when when I got in, I
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: don't know, when you find out who's getting tapped, Like
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: people had an issue with me being in it because
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: of the whole thing from my freshman year that the allegations.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: You know, I mean, I've talked about it before. I
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: never get it. It's part one. Yeah, there's been a
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: lot of allocations.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but then they didn't want me in and then
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: I had to like talk to them like hey this
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: I tet to explain them the whole situation, how it
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: wasn't true, and they're like, gab, yeah, but it was cool, man,
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: that was a cool situation.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Like the whole tapping thing was wild. It was like
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: out of a movie. Yeah, it was nuts. They don't
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: have anything like that, l su huh, not that I
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: know of.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I don't know if I was that influential. They just
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: do like fighting and wrestling. They just put on events
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: with games out there. It's a fucking cool time, dude.
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: LSU was one of those schools. To me, I was like, man,
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: I would love to fucking go there.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: And it seems like they just lived their sports like
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: they're all about their sports, whether it's football, basketball, it'll yeah, no,
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: it'll fucking it'll ruin your day, having a bad having
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: a bad It'll just ruin your day, ruin your week.
- 1:18:06Speaker 6: It's all like generally predicated on all right, what are
- 1:18:11Speaker 6: we doing for our tailgate on Sunday? Like that's you
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: think about it. That's all you think about all fucking week.
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: It's yeah, it's it's sick.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: It seems it's so difficult. Is it like a difficult
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: school to get through? No love that love your honesty.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: I knew the answer, and I just wanted to hear
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: you say no.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: You can make it.
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: You can make I mean, just like just like a
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: fucking have you guys done an F forty five workout?
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: Not to give no free shout outs, but if you
- 1:18:32Speaker 6: guys got Mark Wahlberg shout out Mark Wolberg forty five?
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: No you're talking about uh no, that was the right thing,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: right the workout?
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: Yeah Mark Wahlberg, Okay, yeah, yeah. So these these workouts
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: it anyway, you don't even we don't even need to
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: be this deep, but you you get in what you
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: put in, Like if you want it to be hard,
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: I'm sure it could be hard. But I just went
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: to a wedding just this past weekend where the uh,
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: the bride made us all do an F forty five
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: workout the day before after we flew in, and I
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: told her I would never forgive her.
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: It was, oh wow, it was unbelievable.
- 1:19:06Speaker 6: Obviously I was joking and I got a lot out
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: of it, but uh, when the warm up was like
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: a few a few minutes of like high knees and burpees,
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: and I said, this is like people like. People enjoy this,
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: people like they actively sign up for this. They want
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: to dude, they like doing this. I don't know, it
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: was weird. It was different some crosspit type stuff. It
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: sounds crossfitty with the burpees, a little bit light warm
- 1:19:31Speaker 6: up and just fucking abuse yourself. Yeah, it was just
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: a light warm up of like, Okay, hey, we're gonna
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: do ten high knees and you have someone like that
- 1:19:38Speaker 6: probably shouldn't.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Yeah be showing you the road. Yeah, lean you in
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: the Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but that's just that's just
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: how it is. Your brain just reactivates to that, like
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: you're a coach, you know more than me.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: Thing yeah, And it's like and so I'm just I'm
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: sitting there and they're like, oh no, it's not bicycle.
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: It's not bicycle abs. You want those to be and
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: then you want to cross over. Just keep your knees
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: at ninety And I'm like, yes, coach, yes.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Yeah, through it, dude, yeahn we dive in stop. Are

- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Back to the episodes, and that was really good. Yeah,
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: you've had quite the off season. I sure have.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Can you walk us through the first moment you found
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: out that you had cancer?
- 1:21:12Speaker 6: Boy, Uh, it happened for me obviously in a crazy
- 1:21:19Speaker 6: way that I've that I've that I've shared with you.
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: But I was just doing a routine physical New Orleans Saints.
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: It's early in the morning. I'm just trying to get
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: all the ship out of the way just so I
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: can go out breakfast.
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: I'd just flown back in from uh Cincinnati. I did
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: a physical with them. I did some meetings, some interviews,
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: just trying to gauge, gauge what I wanted to do
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: and where I wanted to go. And a big thing
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: for me was I wanted to see the facility before
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: I made a decision, just because I spent a lot
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: of time there. So I'm going in the morning and
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: I'm going to do my physical. I got I got
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: the needle in my arm. I just given blood, I
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: peed in the cup. H all I have to do
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: is like just get touched on a little bit. I
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: shouldn't have to do any scans and I'll be good
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: to go. And all of a sudden, this this guy,
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: his name is doctor John Amos, puts his hand on me,
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: feel something weird right up here in my left clavicle
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: and going through it. I had felt something up here before,
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: but and I'd known it was a lymph node. They've
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: they've gotten bigger and they've gotten smaller from when I've
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: gotten sick. So normally, when I'd feel it or i'd
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: notice it, I'd be like, oh, I must be getting sick.
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: And going back and thinking through the times that I
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: had felt it, it should have been more obvious to
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: me that something was wrong. So when he felt it,
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: he knew something was wrong, triggering me to go do
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: a couple of scans. Sit there just kind of wait.
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: I'm talking with the with the driver. It's a guy
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: who works with the Saints. His name's Harry. He's in
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: their scouting apartment and he's, uh, we're just talking about
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: our March madness brackets, right, and so I'm like, all right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: we got we got this going on. He's like, oh man,
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: I really like so and so this year I'm like,
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: oh yeah, it's cool.
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: Basically, John Amos gets back from the radiologist that's upstairs
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: and he says, hey, call Mickey Loomis the GM. He says,
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: call Mickey, tell him breakfast is off. Consider the physical canceled, Like,
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: we have some stuff to do. And he comes in
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: and sitsts me down and he's just kind of got that, like.
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: How am I going to deliver this? I have bad news?
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: When when he felt the lymph node, what was the
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: doctor's reaction to send you into radiology?
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: He said, oh, that's interesting, Okay, that's and so he
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: felt that there and then he felt underneath to try
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: to feel the other lymph node to see if that
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: was inflamed kind of in my peck, but it was
- 1:23:47Speaker 6: it was deeper in there, so he really couldn't feel
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: it as well. And so he's kind of he's walking
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: with me and we're kind of we're going to do
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: the scans, and he's like he's walking me through symptoms, right,
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: because initially he feels that and he's like, okay, that's
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: that's an inflat that's a highly inflamed live No, that
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: should not be that big, no matter how that, no
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: matter how sick you are. No, that's just what I'm imagining.
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: He's thinking. He's not trying to trigger me to be nervous,
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: and so he's you nervous? Were you starting to think? Like,
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: h this this happened several times in my you know,
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: because the doctor he seems like he's not trying to
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: make it a big deal. He said, hey, we do
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: go to a couple of scans.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: My first set would be like, hey, what are the
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: scans about, Like trying to figure out the answer the question,
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: the reason we.
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: Were trying to figure it out as as we were going, right,
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: because it's a routine physical he's not supposed to find
- 1:24:33Speaker 6: anything right, he's he's more looking, and he's doing that
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: for me. He's not really doing that for the team. Yeah,
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: Like he's supposed to check my joints, my knees, my elbows,
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: my wrists, my neck. He's supposed to make sure I'm healthy,
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: not in the form of real like physical health.
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: It's supposed to be athletics.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: But it was the first thing he touched and from
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: there you could just kind of see he was a
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: little more frantic, not really as patient, and he really
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: just started to like kind of get things into gear.
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: From from there, I kind of felt like, yeah, there
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: was you know, there's probably something going on. Especially when
- 1:25:11Speaker 6: we started doing tests and he was a little nervous
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: about it, I'm like, Okay for me at that point,
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: I'm like, Okay, this could be really bad cancer. Probably
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: this could be this. You thought to yourself.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: That was my that was my initial thought.
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: I'm like, you know, and two probably two or three
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: weeks before that, I had felt that and said, God,
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: maybe what if that's just like a tumor in my body?
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: Like what if that's not that's not supposed to be here,
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: doesn't feel like that over here? You know, what if
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: it's uh, what if it is cancer? You know, I'll
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: probably find out on my on my free agency visits.
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: And then that comes up free agency comes up. I'm
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: stressed out, I'm not even I'm not thinking about it right.
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: And then I go through my first physical. Nothing, he
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: doesn't feel it, nothing happens, he doesn't check. And then
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: the second guy comes and I'm like, oh, yeah, I
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: did have that that's that is weird base. Anyway, he
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: comes and sits down with me, and he says, okay,
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: so let's talk about you know, Hodgkins lymphone. I'm like, okay,
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: that's that's a big word, right, And I'm just kind
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: of just kind of going through it and trying to
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: figure out, trying to figure out kind of what he's
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: what he's saying, or how, you know, how how sure
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: he is right, because obviously you wouldn't bring it up
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: to me if it wasn't a possibility. And so in
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: a weird way, the kind of pieces start to fit
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: to the puzzle and the dots start to connect a
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: little bit, and I'm like, okay, that's that's different.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: That's interesting.
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: It's like, let's go talk to the radiologist and he'll
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: explain to you everything that's going on. After about five
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: minutes of telling me about how curable and treatable Hodgkins is,
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: I'm like, okay, that's different. So let's let's go do that.
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: We talked to the radiologist. I'm still like, I'm at
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: a coin flip. It could be like a benign cyst
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: of something in my neck, or it could be cancer.
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: And so we start talking to the radiologist and he's
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: explaining to me how it's you know, that's not what
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: it's supposed to look like.
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: It's you got him here.
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: You've got a couple of different spots throughout your body
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: that are a little that kind of light up when
- 1:27:21Speaker 6: we put this when we put this fluid into you
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: into this scan. I'm like, okay, where's the burden of proof?
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: I remember asking him, and he says, what do you mean.
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: I'm like, well, do we have to prove that it
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: is or that it isn't? And I said okay, And
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: he said, well, we got to prove right now to
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: me looking and feeling, despite you not having any symptoms,
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: we have to we'd have to prove that it's not certainly.
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: And I'm like, okay, two about what percent? He goes,
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: upper nineties, ninety seven percent Hodgkins lymphoma in my brain
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: and I said ninety seven.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: That's a lot.
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: And so he said, we'd like to do a biopsy.
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: We'd like to do it as fast as we can.
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: If we let you leave this hospital right now without
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: having anything done, then like you're susceptible to not knowing anything.
- 1:28:11Speaker 6: And it's taking a lot longer for you to find out.
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: I'm like, fuck, okay, let's sure, let's do it now.
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: So they give me some lighter cane, cut me open,
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: I'm still awake, take some corese samples out. And then
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: the same guy I was talking about with the March
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: Madness bracket, Harry, he drives me back, and funny enough,
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: I'm in New Orleans. My mom is ten minutes away
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: from the hospital, and so I walk in after having
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: called my mom and telling her all the information right
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: before the biopsy, and I just break down. Obviously it's
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: you know, it's it was nothing that was in my control,
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: and it was really difficult, and I think a ton
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: of the stress from the Free Agency really just kind
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: of melted away. And I just stopped thinking about that
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: altogether and started thinking about life in a way. And
- 1:29:08Speaker 6: that was an obviously, like extremely low point. And then
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: I had to start. I had to try to tell
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: the people that were important, but also not tell enough
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: people to where all of a sudden, now it's news
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: that I haven't let out on my own right. I
- 1:29:27Speaker 6: called my agent, well, I called my dad, I called
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: my girl, I called my agent, I called my coaches.
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: I kind of told them what was going on, the
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: people that were important to me. I made a courtesy
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: call to Zach Taylor with Cincinnati because I had seen
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: him the day before, and I said, hey, thank you
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: for your consideration. I just I got medical issues going
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: on right now, and I don't want to hold you
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: guys up from being the team that you want to be.
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: I know you guys knew that I was considering going
- 1:29:58Speaker 6: with you, so I now I'm probably, I'm probably I'd
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: have no opportunity to come there and help you, to
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: which he was very gracious and said he would be
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: praying for me, which I meant a lot to me.
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: From there it was, it was actually all uphill and
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: it was all pretty good sent The tweet out got
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: a lot of positive feedback, a lot of responses. There
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: was obviously a lot of crying done and a lot
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: and a lot to be done, but right as I
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: felt I was, it was all positive. It was all
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: super positive, and like, that's how I got to be.
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: That's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna beat this. It's
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: gonna be great. You know, football is on the back burner.
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: We're just gonna We're just gonna beat cancer. That's what
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: we're gonna do. I got a call from the doctor
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: that was recommended me by doctor John Amos. His name
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: is doctor Carter Davis.
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: He is a.
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: He's the uh what is it called, the oncologist for
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: the one of the He's one of the lead on
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: colleges down in New Orleans at the Benson Medical Center,
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: the Benson Cancer Center on the fifth floor. Great dude,
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: and a yeah really and a really good doctor, he
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: calls me. As I as I feel the way of
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: the world bearing down on me from every which way,
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: just talking to people and seeing their experiences, namely, I
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: remember one guy that I was talking to It's like, yeah,
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: you know my relative of mine went through this. And
- 1:31:28Speaker 6: I'm like, well, you know, is how bad is the chemo?
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: How bad is the radiation? You know it's it's bad,
- 1:31:34Speaker 6: but you could push through it. He goes, no, man,
- 1:31:36Speaker 6: it sucks.
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: Brutal.
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: Ship Now it's like it's brutal. I'm like, okay, So
- 1:31:44Speaker 6: I'm I fucking I want to kill myself the most.
- 1:31:48Speaker 6: This is gut wrenching. But right as I feel it
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: all bearing down on me and I'm I'm as stressed
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: as I'd ever been in my life, Carter Davis gives
- 1:31:59Speaker 6: me a call and says, hey, we just got your
- 1:32:04Speaker 6: We just got your cell type back from your initial
- 1:32:07Speaker 6: biopsy of your cancer diagnosis. So this is something I learned,
- 1:32:10Speaker 6: that everyone's cancer is different because obviously there's a ton
- 1:32:14Speaker 6: of different types. Right, there's breast cancer, there's ovarian cancer,
- 1:32:17Speaker 6: there's leukemias. There's even Hodgkins as too, there's Hodgkins and
- 1:32:20Speaker 6: there's non Hodgkins hot non Hodgkins being in your bone marrow.
- 1:32:24Speaker 6: There's just so much that you that I didn't know
- 1:32:26Speaker 6: and that couldn't be learned. And from there there's different
- 1:32:30Speaker 6: cell types.
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: So I had.
- 1:32:33Speaker 6: There's ninety five to ninety seven percent of patients have
- 1:32:38Speaker 6: lymphocite predominant cell type, which means it's it's the most
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: researched form of Hodgkins lymphoma. What I wound up having
- 1:32:47Speaker 6: was non lymph or it was nodular lymphatic predominant Hodgkins lymphoma,
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: so it was less aggressive, it was slow moving, and
- 1:32:56Speaker 6: it didn't require chemo radiation or any of the other
- 1:33:00Speaker 6: life altering things that you'd have to go through. That's
- 1:33:05Speaker 6: my journeys, So my journey is different. And when he
- 1:33:07Speaker 6: told me that that was possibly what I had, tears
- 1:33:11Speaker 6: came to my eyes and I said, Oh my God,
- 1:33:13Speaker 6: like this is this is God's active hand waving over me.
- 1:33:20Speaker 6: I was shocked. I was shook. I'm still shook thinking
- 1:33:22Speaker 6: about it. It gives me chills and just it makes
- 1:33:26Speaker 6: my heart race. But there was just such an outpouring
- 1:33:30Speaker 6: of faith and belief and prayer that had been sent
- 1:33:33Speaker 6: to me. I couldn't see it any other way. And
- 1:33:38Speaker 6: I did a secondary biopsy that that you could see
- 1:33:42Speaker 6: right here where they put me under, took out a
- 1:33:44Speaker 6: ton of that, took out a ton of that lymph node,
- 1:33:49Speaker 6: and ran a bunch of tests just to make sure
- 1:33:52Speaker 6: it was what we thought it was.
- 1:33:55Speaker 3: You were they were. We thought, yeah, whatever anyway, but.
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: It was it.
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: It wound up being the wound.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: Humor in the middle of the Yeah they were who
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: we leave, they were, Yeah, but it was it was
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: n L p h L.
- 1:34:09Speaker 6: And so from there I I remember I was I
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: was watching my my little cousin's tennis match. He's a
- 1:34:16Speaker 6: tennis player down in in Baton Rouge Lsu, and I
- 1:34:20Speaker 6: got that call and it was the nurse He's like, Hey,
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: it's overwhelmingly positive news. It's n L p h L,
- 1:34:26Speaker 6: no chemo, no radiation, and you're gonna be You're going
- 1:34:31Speaker 6: to be back to what you want to do in
- 1:34:33Speaker 6: a month. We're going to schedule you a week from now.
- 1:34:35Speaker 6: You'll be back a month after that. And I said,
- 1:34:38Speaker 6: that's unbelievable. That's no way, that's honestly the greatest news
- 1:34:42Speaker 6: I might next to uh, next to an I do
- 1:34:47Speaker 6: from the person I marry and a it's a boy
- 1:34:51Speaker 6: or it's a girl and it's a healthy baby, That'll
- 1:34:55Speaker 6: probably be the best news I ever received in my life. Unbelievable.
- 1:35:00Speaker 6: So I went and Uh, I did my one, my
- 1:35:03Speaker 6: one transfusion with this this drug called retuxin mab, and
- 1:35:10Speaker 6: from there I just got I just the follow the
- 1:35:13Speaker 6: insinuing tuesdays. I did shots in the stomach of the
- 1:35:17Speaker 6: retux mab and after that I walked out of that
- 1:35:24Speaker 6: hospital and the day after I signed with the Saints.
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: Fuck that was in wild story. Yeah, how long was that?
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: Uh? When you received the the news that you had yeah,
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: that you had cancer, and then you're telling your family
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: your the waterworks is happening. How long is it as
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: you're finding out, like it's uphill from there, Like when
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: did it start to seem like, Okay, maybe it's not.
- 1:35:47Speaker 6: Maybe it's not gonna be as see as easy or
- 1:35:50Speaker 6: as hard.
- 1:35:51Speaker 3: Maybe it's not going to be as hard as I'd imagined.
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: When I got that when I got that phone call.
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: I got that phone call after my buddy aj Cole's wedding.
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: Shout out the boy a, shout out the boy ajal
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: unbelievable punter, you would know, yes, he uh, right after
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: his wedding the way. Yeah, the weight of the world
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: was bearing down on me. And then I got that
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: phone call and I said, oh my god, this is
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: this is incredible.
- 1:36:16Speaker 3: How long was that news from when you received the
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: for the bad news, it.
- 1:36:19Speaker 6: Was probably about it was probably a week and a half.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: So you're just in your head, two minds going everywhere
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: for a sports.
- 1:36:30Speaker 6: Yeah, it was it was bad. I mean, there was
- 1:36:32Speaker 6: a lot of support, it was. It was tough, and uh,
- 1:36:39Speaker 6: it's always going to be something that I do and
- 1:36:41Speaker 6: I'm going to do it graciously and humbly. But my experience,
- 1:36:47Speaker 6: I hope, I hope anyone diagnosed with cancer has my experience.
- 1:36:52Speaker 6: It it did not affect It did not affect my body.
- 1:36:55Speaker 6: My quality of life was not changed. I was obviously,
- 1:36:59Speaker 6: I was upse that I was stressed. It couldn't have
- 1:37:02Speaker 6: happened at a at a worse time, or it couldn't
- 1:37:04Speaker 6: have happened at a better time. I mean, you never know,
- 1:37:07Speaker 6: right with just how the timing works.
- 1:37:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:37:10Speaker 6: But I didn't have a team, I didn't have a home,
- 1:37:13Speaker 6: and all of a sudden, now I have cancer. So
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: I got some I got some rough shit that I
- 1:37:18Speaker 6: was trying to deal with, and I'm like, this is terrible,
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: and shout out to the saying, shout out to Mickey Loomis,
- 1:37:23Speaker 6: shout out to the people that said from the day
- 1:37:26Speaker 6: after that they had the information. They said, we're sticking
- 1:37:29Speaker 6: by you, and you're a saint to us. No matter what,
- 1:37:32Speaker 6: no matter if you no matter if you could play tomorrow,
- 1:37:35Speaker 6: if or if you'll never play again, You'll always be
- 1:37:38Speaker 6: You'll always have a home here.
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: I said, Oh my god, yeah, is that the big
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: reason why you just had a sign with them.
- 1:37:45Speaker 6: That that, amongst others. I mean, I didn't I didn't
- 1:37:47Speaker 6: quite realize how important it was for me to be home.
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: I mean, just having to deal with everything and trying
- 1:37:54Speaker 6: to find another hospital or just another place to do
- 1:37:57Speaker 6: the blood work or another another person I would trust
- 1:38:02Speaker 6: as much as the people that were already taking care
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: of me that had been that had been difficult.
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: I'm sure there.
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: I'm sure there are plenty of wonderful doctors that at
- 1:38:09Speaker 6: the other spots I was considering. But it really dawned
- 1:38:13Speaker 6: upon me once I walked into the facility, which was
- 1:38:16Speaker 6: twelve minutes away from my mom's house, and I said, Yeah,
- 1:38:19Speaker 6: this is exactly where I needed to be right now,
- 1:38:22Speaker 6: in this very moment.
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: Seems like you handled everything gracefully. One thing you said
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: that you actually called Zach Tailor yourself was at something
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: you like. You were like, I want to make sure
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: and call this coach because the next thing I could
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: easily just say, Hey, do me a favor to your agent.
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: Call this guy and let him know that this is
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: going on.
- 1:38:41Speaker 6: It's no secret that you know they're having a lot
- 1:38:44Speaker 6: of success up in Cincinnati, and it's you could look
- 1:38:49Speaker 6: at the stats and you could look at you could
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: look at Joe, you could look at Jamar, you can
- 1:38:52Speaker 6: look at t Higgins, you could look at Joe Mix
- 1:38:54Speaker 6: and you could look at their align, their defense, their secondary,
- 1:38:58Speaker 6: their franchise safeties who they don't have anymore. But regardless,
- 1:39:03Speaker 6: you could you could see on paper and on the field,
- 1:39:06Speaker 6: on the grass why they're having so much success. Talking
- 1:39:09Speaker 6: to Zach Taylor, you could tell that all that success
- 1:39:11Speaker 6: is being managed in an extremely positive way. He just
- 1:39:15Speaker 6: it seemed like he was doing things in a really
- 1:39:17Speaker 6: positive light. It was something that I definitely was going
- 1:39:20Speaker 6: to consider down the line, but it was just it
- 1:39:24Speaker 6: was a courtesy I know that he would have extended
- 1:39:27Speaker 6: to me, and I It's just it wasn't in my
- 1:39:31Speaker 6: place to just lead someone on or just kind of
- 1:39:34Speaker 6: keep misinformation perpetuating that. Wasn't that just that's not my mo?
- 1:39:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:39:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but then well anybody who has, you know, tough information,
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: they might want to just focus on themselves and just
- 1:39:45Speaker 2: have just make their agent do it. Yeah, you reach
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: out as I could say all that. That's why I
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: asked that question, is like, you know, very personable of
- 1:39:52Speaker 2: you to go and call another head coach and say,
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: I appreciate, but here's what's going on X, Y and Z.
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: In the middle of dealing with an emotional battle that
- 1:39:59Speaker 3: you're dealing with Yeah.
- 1:40:00Speaker 6: Uh, I talked to him the day before. Honestly, Taylor,
- 1:40:05Speaker 6: it just seemed like he was a guy that I
- 1:40:07Speaker 6: wanted in my corner with a prayer, and I yeah,
- 1:40:12Speaker 6: I'd stand by that.
- 1:40:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: Yeah, when you look at everything now, going through all
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: that and being as minimal as it could have possibly been, Like, where,
- 1:40:20Speaker 2: how has your outlook changed on life before all this
- 1:40:24Speaker 2: and then after?
- 1:40:26Speaker 6: Man, I'm I'm gracious, I'm I'm grateful. I'm thankful, And
- 1:40:32Speaker 6: there's been plenty of times where I thought, you know,
- 1:40:36Speaker 6: like and a lot of the times for me, it's
- 1:40:39Speaker 6: it was the wrong way. It's the wrong way to
- 1:40:40Speaker 6: do it. But like, we just did ten OTAs. Really
- 1:40:44Speaker 6: we did nine OTAs and then three mini camp practices,
- 1:40:46Speaker 6: and I was like, there there'd been something that I
- 1:40:49Speaker 6: there had been a play that I went back. There's
- 1:40:50Speaker 6: always a play you went back, right, It's like, fuck God,
- 1:40:55Speaker 6: I mean Cam Jordan gets off the ball and like
- 1:40:58Speaker 6: I'm behind the snap count. It's a quarterback that isn't Derek,
- 1:41:01Speaker 6: which is crazy that we're back together and we could
- 1:41:02Speaker 6: talk about that, but yeah, you.
- 1:41:04Speaker 3: Know, it's the guys who's cadence.
- 1:41:06Speaker 6: I wasn't ready for and now Cam Jordan's in the
- 1:41:08Speaker 6: backfield and I'm scrambling. I look like an idiot, and
- 1:41:10Speaker 6: I'm like, God, this fucking sucks. And then I'm kicking
- 1:41:13Speaker 6: myself all day.
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: I'm down.
- 1:41:15Speaker 6: I'm like, God, I'm fucking pumping weight. I'm just all
- 1:41:17Speaker 6: I'm thinking about is just being laid off the ball,
- 1:41:19Speaker 6: and I'm like, this fucking blows. And then I'm like,
- 1:41:27Speaker 6: it could be a lot worse. Could be sitting by
- 1:41:31Speaker 6: the river there in the Benson Cancer Center just with
- 1:41:34Speaker 6: an ivy in your arm for eight hours, going through
- 1:41:38Speaker 6: going through a tuxamap, going through or something worse, going
- 1:41:40Speaker 6: through chemo or radiation. Like it's always it's always worse,
- 1:41:44Speaker 6: and everyone has their own set of problems. Anyone you
- 1:41:47Speaker 6: walk past, and anyone in this bus has their own
- 1:41:49Speaker 6: battle that they're fighting right now. But it's just it
- 1:41:52Speaker 6: gave me a lot of perspective. Yeah, fuck man, this
- 1:41:56Speaker 6: is uh. I appreciate you sharing all this stuff too.
- 1:41:59Speaker 6: I can only how hard it was to tell your parents. Yeah,
- 1:42:03Speaker 6: that was that was difficult. I'm I'm extremely close with both.
- 1:42:09Speaker 6: I'll spent a lot of time with my mom and
- 1:42:14Speaker 6: naturally she's a little Uh, she's a little skeptical. Uh
- 1:42:19Speaker 6: she didn't, she wouldn't trust medicine all that much.
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: Uh hell yeah, yeah, uh yeah, a little bit, a
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: little bit, just down at a little bit.
- 1:42:29Speaker 6: So, you know, I just I trust the experts, and
- 1:42:34Speaker 6: those guys seem to know what they were talking about.
- 1:42:36Speaker 6: They weren't blown smoke out their ass. So initially she
- 1:42:41Speaker 6: kind of she called me on the phone call right
- 1:42:43Speaker 6: after I got the news, and then I got home
- 1:42:46Speaker 6: and I just I just broke down, just hugged her
- 1:42:50Speaker 6: and broke down. So it was they were kind of
- 1:42:55Speaker 6: explaining to me that it could be this, it could
- 1:42:57Speaker 6: be this, it could be any one of those things,
- 1:43:01Speaker 6: and I'm like, yeah, like it's just it's not.
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: I just I know, I know this is what they
- 1:43:06Speaker 3: say it is. It's it's Hodgkins, and we just gotta.
- 1:43:11Speaker 6: There's a chance it couldn't be, you know, in my brain,
- 1:43:14Speaker 6: I'm like, We've beaten a lot of odds, right, you know,
- 1:43:17Speaker 6: the three of us, certainly we beat plenty of odds.
- 1:43:19Speaker 6: We've gone from you know, grammar school to high school
- 1:43:23Speaker 6: to college to the pros. We've played, we've had long careers,
- 1:43:27Speaker 6: and I'm just I'm gonna play as long as I
- 1:43:29Speaker 6: can and as long as they'll continue to have me.
- 1:43:31Speaker 6: But in my brain, I'm like, you know, I've been
- 1:43:35Speaker 6: a lot of odds. It'd be it'd be really hard
- 1:43:38Speaker 6: to beat these. I have no control over these, but
- 1:43:43Speaker 6: I remember, and I remember telling fucking shifter, I'm like,
- 1:43:46Speaker 6: we've beat a lot of odds, but we kicked a
- 1:43:47Speaker 6: lot of ass too, So whichever one we have to
- 1:43:50Speaker 6: do this time, that's just what we're gonna do.
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: A great line. Yeah, yeah, well, I mean I can't
- 1:43:56Speaker 3: imagine I have to tell your family. That's if you
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: had a similar situation happened with you, I mean, but
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: not that one. Yeah, you were was like.
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I was out in Buffalo and I
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: had I was going out for a physical and I
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: had a scan. I was doing a C spine scan
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: just because of stingers, like a stinger history, and they're like, oh, let's.
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: Just do a C spine scan, just a YadA, YadA YadA.
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: And I remember watching film with the linebacker coach and
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: they end up knocking on the door the doctor of
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: the team doc at the time, and he's like, hey,
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: can we borrow will for a minute. We got all
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: this physical stuff back. He's like, when you get down that,
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: you know, we'll get back into this cover one, cover three,
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: you know, and like.
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: Not cover one, Yeah, go ahead, yeah, and uh right,
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: I'm called for.
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: And I remember sitting in the office and they had
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: the scan up. He'said, you see what this is and
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: there's like this white mask like in my neck at
- 1:44:42Speaker 1: the bottom of my brain and he was like, uh
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: it's like, you know, I don't want to speculate.
- 1:44:50Speaker 3: He's like, but I don't know what this is.
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: I know it's a cost for concern and you know
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: we can't clear you right now, and here's what your
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: options are. And then he started talking about like, uh uh,
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: what are you talking about, like a going to their radiology,
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: ghetting the scan, get in the ink ink ye getting
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: or a CT scan right do putting the color the
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: dye in your brain so that way they could see
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: the coloring and all this stuff. He's like, but I
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: would you know, you probably don't want to be in Buffalo.
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: You probably want to be And then that's when I
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: kind of started hitting. I was like, like, do I
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: have like a tumor or something. He's like, honestly, I
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: don't know. I'm not an expert, and I don't want
- 1:45:26Speaker 1: to speculate or put anything in your head, but I
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: would advise you, uh, probably you probably want to be
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: around your family. So I'm like flying back and Washington
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: takes was taking good care of me at the time.
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: Doctor West. She's like, hey, we'll get you right when
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: you land. Take an uber over to the radiology department.
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: We'll get you an MRI. And as I'm walking up,
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: you can hear them say like, uh, you know this
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: where we could be looking at a tumor. I think
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: we're gonna have to get this removed and send it
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: into the lab. As you know, they're trying to get
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: it out so that way they can they can see
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: or not if it's benign or something that's aggressive.
- 1:45:58Speaker 3: Of course he's always here. He's here. They get off
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: the phone and he's like, oh, come in here and
- 1:46:01Speaker 3: tell me, And I was like, you know, just tell
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: me what.
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, I feel like I'm an emotional from fucking
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: his story first, and he's like, I was like, Yo,
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: just just tell me what you know I'm looking at.
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: If it's if I can't play football, and war I
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: don't care about that because he's like, hey, if we
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: get this removed, we could just put uh, like, you know,
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: titanium basically on your fucking brain on your school You'll
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: be good.
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: You'd be good for training camp. I was like, listen, man,
- 1:46:29Speaker 3: if I.
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: Got something, if I got a tumor in my brain, yeah,
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: I don't give a shit if I'm to play Oklahoma
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: Trill again anymore in training camp. And he's like, we're
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: gonna send this off to He's like because again he's
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: just a radiologist. And they're like, the neurosurgeon is gonna
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: see it tomorrow, and so everybody, you know, everybody, all
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: the team docs in Washington, we're sending it off to,
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: you know, anybody, like fucking internationally, everybody's to get their
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: eyes on the scan. I'm up all night talking with
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: my boy Trim Murphy about you know what it could be.
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: He's researching his own thing. He's fucking you don't want
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: them warm ole cats, like you want to be in
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: the Fox.
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: Old of course.
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: Yeah, And uh, you know, I basically get zero sleep
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: that night and then I wake up the neurostitch calls
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: the next day say, hey, man, I know you've been stressed.
- 1:47:11Speaker 3: All night.
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: You do not have a tumor. This is, in my opinion, benign.
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: And you've had this in your brain since you were
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: you know, since you were a kid. Because I look
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: back at your olden horizon. This is something that the
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: Redskins missed. It's like it is a hard thing to miss,
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: but it is on some of your old c spines.
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: So I'm under the impression that it's been in there
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: since as early as whenever I had my first like
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: either sting or whatever in twenty fourteen. Yeah, so yeah,
- 1:47:37Speaker 1: that was my That was my story with that, which
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: I've told a couple of times on here. But I
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: remember the hardest call being to my dad about it.
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: I don't know why I'm crying so stupid. It's all good,
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: it's just the emotional shit, man. You get the parents.
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: Stuff evolved and that always tickles something. But that was
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: the hardest call. So that's why I asked that. Of course,
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: that's that's my story. If let's please, for the love
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: of God, let's move on to something else. Uh So,
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: Denzel Washington, Yeah, I guess no range, yeah, young in
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: that one lock pistol here, Yeah, yep, no range straight ahead.
- 1:48:23Speaker 3: That's all he's got. It's a wild deal, man. It is.
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: The entire time you're telling that story, I'm like, you know,
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: when you talked about it, I go home, and then
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: that's the moment I break down.
- 1:48:32Speaker 3: I just feel it rising up in me.
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I'm thinking, thankful you're asking questions too,
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: because I'm like, fuck man, because you're obviously a friend too,
- 1:48:39Speaker 1: and I can only imagine how difficult that was just
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: because you actually were receiving bad fucking news, and I
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: can you know, I just remember that moment for myself,
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: and you're just like you almost don't know how to
- 1:48:51Speaker 1: wrap your brain around it at first first hearing it,
- 1:48:53Speaker 1: and then you're speculating until you get whatever the results are,
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: and you kind of like it didn't necessarily hit me
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: until I was actually try to get it on my
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: mouth and tell my dad because.
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: I was like, yo, don't tell mom.
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: Wasn't gonna tell my wife now, but it wasn't gonna
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: tell Charro until I knew like what results actually were.
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: But that's when I realized how, like, yo, this is,
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: this could be something real that's going on. But uh, yeah, man,
- 1:49:16Speaker 1: that's that story is wild.
- 1:49:18Speaker 6: Yeah, there's there's just just so much information. I mean
- 1:49:23Speaker 6: when I initially got it, I just kind of went
- 1:49:25Speaker 6: into that just take information for what it is and
- 1:49:31Speaker 6: try not to be emotional right now, Like just really
- 1:49:35Speaker 6: just perked up, wide eyed and just kind of like
- 1:49:39Speaker 6: just tried to pierce this guy's eyes with mine and
- 1:49:41Speaker 6: just understand what he's saying, gather as much information and
- 1:49:46Speaker 6: facts as I could, just so that I could relay
- 1:49:48Speaker 6: the information as clearly and accurately as possible.
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:49:52Speaker 6: Yeah, that's that's that's kind of the mode that I
- 1:49:55Speaker 6: went into. But as soon as all that melts away
- 1:49:59Speaker 6: and you have given all that information, then you become
- 1:50:03Speaker 6: a human being again.
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and especially when you see the reactions of others too,
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: and just of course as parts of like you know,
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: you know in a like our line of work and
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: everything else. You you try to quickly wrap your arms
- 1:50:16Speaker 1: around it to see it as like am I gonna
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: beat this motherfucker? And you see it kind of as
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: like a challenge type of thing, or like you know,
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: we're gonna then you almost I would assume if it
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: continued down that that uh, that road of it being
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: something like a tumor, it's almost it would almost be
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: harder to see anybody else around the reacting versus, of course,
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: because you're trying.
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: To explain it.
- 1:50:37Speaker 1: You know, everybody's trying to be there for you. You
- 1:50:40Speaker 1: don't know if you're probably in the mood to talk
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: at times about it. Yeah, you know, you know it's
- 1:50:44Speaker 1: on everybody's mind.
- 1:50:45Speaker 4: It is.
- 1:50:45Speaker 6: Let me just fucking address this outfit. That's no, that's
- 1:50:48Speaker 6: exactly right. So it's like, it's one thing, one thing
- 1:50:53Speaker 6: that I didn't want to do is go on like
- 1:50:56Speaker 6: a media circus. But there could have been some like
- 1:51:02Speaker 6: It's just the thing is I didn't want to like
- 1:51:04Speaker 6: popularize going on like and just doing a bunch of
- 1:51:09Speaker 6: different interviews for a bunch of different people and just
- 1:51:12Speaker 6: trying to like, I didn't want it to make it
- 1:51:14Speaker 6: seem like I was trying to build my brand through
- 1:51:17Speaker 6: my diagnosis. And I know that's like a crazy thing
- 1:51:20Speaker 6: for me to say, because obviously that's not happening. It's
- 1:51:23Speaker 6: just I already have a bit of a brand and
- 1:51:25Speaker 6: then all of a sudden, this crazy news jumps and
- 1:51:28Speaker 6: I'm a free agent, Okay, I get this information out.
- 1:51:31Speaker 6: That was just that was a fear that I had
- 1:51:32Speaker 6: had initially going in but talking to people, they've been
- 1:51:36Speaker 6: just so supportive of it. Obviously, I talk about it
- 1:51:40Speaker 6: a lot, just because it is so well known that
- 1:51:44Speaker 6: I have now gone through this, even though I don't
- 1:51:46Speaker 6: look or feel any different.
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that was a thing too when that news came out.
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: Obviously everyone that's a viral thing, like it was fucking
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: spreading like wildfire. Yeah, having you on the bus now,
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: it's almost like a part of me was like, you know,
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: I see you sign with the Saints. I'm like, man,
- 1:51:59Speaker 1: this is fucking awesome that he's you know, whatever's going
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: on with the with the story and everything else. But
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: I'm almost like, you know, like so see like cancer
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: free because you haven't done a whole a lot of
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: talking about not that you should be doing it, but
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: yeah you do have that up in the air. Is like, man,
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: he's fucking out there laying right now, Like should he
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: be out there in the they taking care of my
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: guy out there?
- 1:52:19Speaker 3: Fuck? Yeah there?
- 1:52:20Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, holy shit, I have one. I have
- 1:52:25Speaker 6: one last scan. I think I think nine days or
- 1:52:31Speaker 6: eight days from now, June twenty ninth, and that will
- 1:52:35Speaker 6: be another uh, I think that'll be another pet scan
- 1:52:37Speaker 6: where they're gonna they they shoot you with radioactive sugar basically,
- 1:52:42Speaker 6: and you go in and you you do it. The
- 1:52:44Speaker 6: sugar basically targets and I could pull up a picture
- 1:52:48Speaker 6: for you, but the sugar targets the parts of your
- 1:52:50Speaker 6: body that are consuming it. Right, So like it'll go
- 1:52:53Speaker 6: to your brain, your heart, You'll see you'll see sugar
- 1:52:56Speaker 6: in your bladder. But then the other parts that pop
- 1:53:00Speaker 6: up on the scan, those are the parts that are
- 1:53:02Speaker 6: that are eating up the sugar, and those are considered
- 1:53:04Speaker 6: to be cancerous. So for me, I had them here,
- 1:53:07Speaker 6: and I had some. I had some here, I'll have that.
- 1:53:10Speaker 6: I'll have one last scan to see how much those
- 1:53:14Speaker 6: have gone down due to the retux mab. And after that,
- 1:53:18Speaker 6: if I go on there and see like a limited
- 1:53:20Speaker 6: amount of black spots, I will in my own head
- 1:53:26Speaker 6: have rung the bell and I would have been done
- 1:53:29Speaker 6: in remission at that point.
- 1:53:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that's in nine days. That'll be in nine days.
- 1:53:33Speaker 2: Is there any anticipation for that? You feel pretty confident
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: right now? I feel good about it. Everyone everyone takes
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: to the medicine. Everyone takes to the retux mab in
- 1:53:42Speaker 2: a different way. And I've I've been quoted as calling
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: this a life sentence for myself. I might never have
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: to do it again, but the studies and statistics show
- 1:53:54Speaker 2: that I might have to go.
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: Do more of this stuff.
- 1:53:57Speaker 6: But at that point it's again, it's still not still
- 1:54:00Speaker 6: not chemo. It's a drug that I'm now familiar with
- 1:54:03Speaker 6: and my body's familiar with, so it'd be hopefully in
- 1:54:08Speaker 6: my brain.
- 1:54:09Speaker 3: This is just the way that I see it. It'd
- 1:54:10Speaker 3: be like maybe.
- 1:54:13Speaker 6: For four more treatments a month long, ten or twelve
- 1:54:17Speaker 6: or fifteen years from now right, and then maybe do
- 1:54:21Speaker 6: it more after that, and more after that, and just
- 1:54:23Speaker 6: once every once every year or or two years, going
- 1:54:28Speaker 6: in and doing a scan and making sure it's not growing.
- 1:54:31Speaker 6: But for me, it seems like the NLPHL, that diagnosis
- 1:54:35Speaker 6: of it not being aggressive or growing or really spreading
- 1:54:39Speaker 6: off all that fast, that'll always kind of be the
- 1:54:43Speaker 6: thing that I lean back on and say, okay, Like,
- 1:54:45Speaker 6: regardless of what it is, I'll be okay.
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: That's that's my thought. When you take that medicine, is
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: there a reaction to your body, like do you feel
- 1:54:51Speaker 3: a certain way?
- 1:54:52Speaker 6: They have to, so they do the trend, They do
- 1:54:54Speaker 6: the the infe or the transfusion, whatever it is. They
- 1:54:57Speaker 6: do that because anything you put in your body, especially
- 1:55:00Speaker 6: something you're not familiar with, you could be allergic to it.
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: Right, You could have a reaction.
- 1:55:06Speaker 6: And there are people there's like it was basically a
- 1:55:09Speaker 6: coin flip, about fifty to fifty of people who have
- 1:55:11Speaker 6: a reaction and some people who don't have a reaction. Now,
- 1:55:14Speaker 6: the reaction doesn't mean it's not working or that you
- 1:55:16Speaker 6: can't have it. It just means that you're introducing it
- 1:55:18Speaker 6: to your body too fast. For me, I did not
- 1:55:22Speaker 6: have that reaction.
- 1:55:23Speaker 3: So it went.
- 1:55:25Speaker 6: We did thirty minutes at fifty CC's per hour, we
- 1:55:29Speaker 6: did thirty minutes at one hundred CC's per hour, and
- 1:55:31Speaker 6: we just dripped it in until the nine hundred cc
- 1:55:34Speaker 6: bag had dripped all the way out. And I just
- 1:55:38Speaker 6: I mean, you're just sitting there, you're reading, you're reading
- 1:55:41Speaker 6: a book, or you're looking at your phone, or you're
- 1:55:43Speaker 6: watching a video, and then all of a sudden, the uh,
- 1:55:47Speaker 6: the bena drill starts. I mean, those words are swimming
- 1:55:51Speaker 6: on the page and you're like, holy fuck, this can't
- 1:55:54Speaker 6: be bena drill.
- 1:55:55Speaker 3: Right, And then all of a sudden, I'm have a
- 1:55:58Speaker 3: fun deal.
- 1:55:58Speaker 2: Yeah kind of yeah, I mean unbelievable, but you don't
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: want to you don't want say it too loud.
- 1:56:03Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, I mean I'm just I'm looking.
- 1:56:05Speaker 6: I'm just like, oh my god, this is what this is? Well,
- 1:56:08Speaker 6: I mean I had gone and I had done surgeries before,
- 1:56:10Speaker 6: but like, they'll go in and they'll bring the vials in.
- 1:56:12Speaker 6: I remember I did my A c L and I
- 1:56:14Speaker 6: did my A cl in Baton Rouge again, fucking great town.
- 1:56:18Speaker 6: And the guy comes in and he's he's explaining U
- 1:56:22Speaker 6: what he's about to put into my arm. He's like, hey,
- 1:56:24Speaker 6: this is gonna loosen you up, it's gonna relax you.
- 1:56:28Speaker 6: It's basically like a margarita. I'm like, oh fuck yeah.
- 1:56:31Speaker 6: It's it's like five thirty in the morning. I'm like,
- 1:56:33Speaker 6: oh fuck yeah. He goes, I was hoping you said that,
- 1:56:35Speaker 6: and so I'm not giving you like a fucking magician.
- 1:56:38Speaker 6: He had he had one viol in this hand. He
- 1:56:40Speaker 6: flipped his hand and he had a second fucking viol
- 1:56:43Speaker 6: in his head. He goes, he goes, I was hoping
- 1:56:45Speaker 6: you said that. So I brought two of them. I said,
- 1:56:47Speaker 6: oh my god.
- 1:56:50Speaker 3: Yeah. So he and so he did.
- 1:56:54Speaker 2: I remember the doctor as he's uh put in the
- 1:56:56Speaker 2: uh what anesthesia? Right as he's put as he's as
- 1:57:00Speaker 2: he's given me the as he's giving me the anesthesia,
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: and he goes, all right, just count backwards from one hundred.
- 1:57:04Speaker 3: He goes, I know what this is.
- 1:57:06Speaker 6: I'm basically drunk.
- 1:57:08Speaker 3: I go, I know what this is?
- 1:57:12Speaker 6: Yeah, and I'm fucking out like a light. The doctor
- 1:57:15Speaker 6: woke and when he woke me up, and he and
- 1:57:16Speaker 6: he came and just gave me a recap of it.
- 1:57:18Speaker 6: He's like, God, you're fucking hilarious. If you ever want
- 1:57:21Speaker 6: to grab a drink sometime, here's my card, let me know.
- 1:57:23Speaker 6: Oh you hit him by the doctor? I said, that
- 1:57:25Speaker 6: is fucking hilarious, so funny.
- 1:57:29Speaker 3: Just yeah, it was. It was a it was an
- 1:57:31Speaker 3: interesting time certainly. Man. It is a weird fight when
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: you're going against anesthesia. Oh yeah, weird deal.
- 1:57:37Speaker 6: Yeah, some people. Some people try to fight it. They're like,
- 1:57:39Speaker 6: all right, countdown from ten. You're probably not gonna hit five.
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: Yeah, ah at five, and then you just kind of
- 1:57:45Speaker 1: just like you droop out and you're just like, oh
- 1:57:47Speaker 1: you fuck that.
- 1:57:48Speaker 3: The skin.
- 1:57:49Speaker 2: I've only a surgery like like two three times. And
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: every time, like the fear is like, you know, I'm
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: just a corpse to these people.
- 1:57:57Speaker 3: What if they right? Right?
- 1:58:00Speaker 2: I remember I got my tonsils out. I have my
- 1:58:02Speaker 2: tosses out. When I was twenty one and I literally
- 1:58:04Speaker 2: asked the doctor. I was like, hey, can you get
- 1:58:06Speaker 2: like hard when you're on a anesthesia? They're like no,
- 1:58:09Speaker 2: I'm like worried about getting like wood.
- 1:58:11Speaker 3: What's that you get? Are youing this?
- 1:58:14Speaker 1: Like what's the deal? Like a dream and you wake
- 1:58:17Speaker 1: up in the morning and that sh it's like, you know,
- 1:58:19Speaker 1: it's fucking up there. Yeah it's poking.
- 1:58:20Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, and it's not much, but it's mine. But
- 1:58:23Speaker 2: also doctors rolling around.
- 1:58:27Speaker 3: The morning.
- 1:58:28Speaker 2: Yeah, anytime a doctor is a little more hey, here
- 1:58:31Speaker 2: you go, buddy. Yeah, in the appropriate situation. I had
- 1:58:34Speaker 2: a I had a g I bug Like in twenty sixteen.
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: I was like over the toil like three days straight,
- 1:58:40Speaker 2: like full body cramps, and I went into the hospital.
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: Eventually I was like, got get an IV. So I
- 1:58:45Speaker 2: like go to the hospital and they were so full.
- 1:58:47Speaker 2: That's put me in like the pediatrics area. So I
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: was like there's like toy cars and ship all around
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: by kids and legos and blocks. Doctor walks in and say, hey,
- 1:58:55Speaker 2: what's the brother. I've been sick. I've been throwing up.
- 1:58:57Speaker 2: I see an ivy maybe some like zofrain or something
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: like that. Whatever like helps is zoe frame what helps
- 1:59:02Speaker 2: with the like, uh, upset stomach, nausea? Maybe I don't
- 1:59:08Speaker 2: know what's ever met in? Yeah, yeah, I've seen something.
- 1:59:13Speaker 2: And then uh, he's like, yeah, dude, we'll get you
- 1:59:14Speaker 2: no problem, we'll get you in. And now he we'll
- 1:59:16Speaker 2: get the IV And I was like, hey, if you
- 1:59:17Speaker 2: have some of that uh that stuff that gets you
- 1:59:19Speaker 2: fucked up too, I mean, I'm not doing anything today.
- 1:59:22Speaker 3: So he's like, you're are you hurt? I was like,
- 1:59:24Speaker 3: I can be the doctor.
- 1:59:27Speaker 2: The doctor hits me, he's like, brother, I got you, leaves,
- 1:59:29Speaker 2: comes back, hits me with it, and I'm like he
- 1:59:32Speaker 2: leaves like ten minutes. It comes back and I'm like, hey, dude,
- 1:59:33Speaker 2: I don't really feel it. He gave me another one.
- 1:59:36Speaker 2: He's like, you're a big guy, we'll get you another one.
- 1:59:38Speaker 2: So he fucking fuck. He fucking cops me.
- 1:59:41Speaker 3: So you're in someone's living room. No, no, okay, yeah,
- 1:59:45Speaker 3: he hooks me up.
- 1:59:45Speaker 2: With it with another one. I can't remember what the
- 1:59:47Speaker 2: medicine was. It's like the main thing they give you
- 1:59:49Speaker 2: break a bone or something like that, but I forget
- 1:59:51Speaker 2: what it is. Anyway, he puts in the IV. I'm
- 1:59:53Speaker 2: starting to feel it a little bit. I'm feeling pretty good.
- 1:59:55Speaker 2: And now it's like the IV's done. Its time for
- 1:59:57Speaker 2: me to leave, dude, no joke. I went to stand up.
- 1:59:59Speaker 2: My leg did not fucking work. I stood up and
- 2:00:02Speaker 2: I was like, immediately so fucking high. I'm laughing like
- 2:00:06Speaker 2: my my my wife had like those little peach rings,
- 2:00:10Speaker 2: a little little candies. Yes, but let me get a
- 2:00:12Speaker 2: couple of yes, yes, I get them. I couldn't chew.
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: I started to choke a little bit. They had to
- 2:00:16Speaker 2: pull them out of my mouth. Dude, no Joe, they
- 2:00:19Speaker 2: fucking I'm like Stephen Hawking is going out of this hospital, dude,
- 2:00:22Speaker 2: as they're rolling me out of this wheelchair.
- 2:00:24Speaker 3: And it was like the best five hours. And I
- 2:00:26Speaker 3: went from hell to live in the dream.
- 2:00:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's believable. I had a my story
- 2:00:32Speaker 1: being in the hospital, you guys. That's the cool ones
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: I had ship ripped.
- 2:00:34Speaker 3: I have one.
- 2:00:35Speaker 6: I have one about that they put a nerve block.
- 2:00:38Speaker 6: I had a basically like a near a sports hernia.
- 2:00:42Speaker 6: But it was a it was a weird little injury
- 2:00:43Speaker 6: that I had back in twenty twenty one.
- 2:00:45Speaker 3: I had to go get my.
- 2:00:47Speaker 6: I had to go get some shit cleared out, like
- 2:00:50Speaker 6: on my pelvic out area, and uh, they put a
- 2:00:53Speaker 6: nerve block in me. Yeah, right, they put a nerve
- 2:00:56Speaker 6: block in me. And so I'm still like I wake
- 2:00:58Speaker 6: up from the surgery, I'm still good. They're like this guy,
- 2:01:02Speaker 6: oh my god, God bless him. He's a nineteen year old,
- 2:01:05Speaker 6: like like just nerve just just helping out at the hospital.
- 2:01:09Speaker 6: I don't know what is fucking official. He couldn't have
- 2:01:11Speaker 6: been more than nineteen years old. He's wheeling me out right.
- 2:01:14Speaker 6: He's like if my mom pulls the car around, she's
- 2:01:16Speaker 6: about to drive me back to Vegas from LA and
- 2:01:19Speaker 6: I go to I go to stand up and like,
- 2:01:21Speaker 6: I'm okay, I'm good, I'm all right, I'm fine. I'm
- 2:01:24Speaker 6: uh yeah, this is great.
- 2:01:25Speaker 3: It is fine. And so I go to get into
- 2:01:27Speaker 3: the car.
- 2:01:28Speaker 1: I go.
- 2:01:30Speaker 6: Lift my leg up right, and the nerve block had
- 2:01:35Speaker 6: shut down my right leg right, So I go and
- 2:01:38Speaker 6: I lift my left leg up to get into the car.
- 2:01:40Speaker 6: I fucking collapse on the pavement, like over my like
- 2:01:44Speaker 6: over my body, fresh out of surgery, probably ninety minutes ago,
- 2:01:48Speaker 6: I like collapse over my body. And I'm like, oh
- 2:01:51Speaker 6: my god, I just blew my fucking knee out.
- 2:01:53Speaker 3: I had.
- 2:01:54Speaker 6: There's no way the angle my knee was act just
- 2:01:56Speaker 6: now there's no way, like I mean fully bent all
- 2:01:59Speaker 6: my wait. I'm like, there's no wad and just blow
- 2:02:02Speaker 6: them everything, every capsule it in my right knee. And
- 2:02:06Speaker 6: so I get in the car and I'm freaking out,
- 2:02:08Speaker 6: like my knee like I don't know if my niece
- 2:02:10Speaker 6: thriving or not. I can't fucking feel anything. So like
- 2:02:13Speaker 6: we get two hours through the four and a half
- 2:02:15Speaker 6: hour driving, I'm like, Mom, pull the fucking car over.
- 2:02:17Speaker 4: I need to.
- 2:02:18Speaker 3: I need to.
- 2:02:19Speaker 2: I need to see I need and you see my
- 2:02:21Speaker 2: leg works. It's like I told you should have trusted
- 2:02:23Speaker 2: them doctors. It's like yeah, so yeah, I'm like I'm
- 2:02:25Speaker 2: calling the doctors. I'm like, hey, is fucking is James there?
- 2:02:29Speaker 3: Is? Was that his name? James? I said, get that
- 2:02:33Speaker 3: motherfucker on the phone. How dare you getting? No?
- 2:02:36Speaker 6: But like I told him, like this pre cancer, I'm
- 2:02:38Speaker 6: not maybe who fucking knows, And yeah, right, so new guy.
- 2:02:43Speaker 3: My mom is like, I'm not pulling I'm not pulling over.
- 2:02:46Speaker 2: You're not gonna just walk out here on the side
- 2:02:48Speaker 2: of the road in the middle of nowhere to figure
- 2:02:50Speaker 2: out whether you fucking your knee is okay.
- 2:02:53Speaker 6: Me wound up being perfectly fine. I was like, just
- 2:02:56Speaker 6: apparently I landed on the fucking like on the side
- 2:02:59Speaker 6: of the car. I was fine, but I just I
- 2:03:01Speaker 6: was again from those drugs. I was freaking out. Yeah,
- 2:03:05Speaker 6: it's good time all the time. What are the drugs
- 2:03:08Speaker 6: have you've done? Drugs are bad? Drugs are bad. Yeah, allegedly, Yeah,
- 2:03:11Speaker 6: if you trust the doctors, which in my family we
- 2:03:15Speaker 6: have a history, no history of cancer, but we do
- 2:03:17Speaker 6: have a history of mistrusting doctors.
- 2:03:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess supposedly, I guess your mom.
- 2:03:22Speaker 3: It sounds like she's a great woman. Yeah. I love
- 2:03:26Speaker 3: that the Rogan I love that lady. Yeah must yeah.
- 2:03:31Speaker 1: Jerry Cliff, right now, should we get into our tear talk?
- 2:03:36Speaker 3: I believe we should.
- 2:03:38Speaker 2: Now, you are one of the only guests to ever
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: give us to request. I appreciate it. Like, what the
- 2:03:45Speaker 2: do you talk toout? You gave three great options, blind sighted,
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: last time my brain shown, my brain shot on nights Tale,
- 2:03:52Speaker 2: a Knight's Tale.
- 2:03:53Speaker 6: It's a phenomenal movie. Manus movie, tremnous movie.
- 2:03:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and honestly, we didn't give probably the sports movie
- 2:03:58Speaker 1: tear talk the moment it deserved anyone.
- 2:04:00Speaker 6: Probably true.
- 2:04:04Speaker 3: I'm ready, which you have to bring your phones out?
- 2:04:07Speaker 3: Oh yes, I remember.
- 2:04:08Speaker 1: No, it's it's cool. I'm saying it's not school final.
- 2:04:15Speaker 1: I do gotta look at one thing. Yeah, it's fine,
- 2:04:17Speaker 1: it's fine.
- 2:04:19Speaker 3: What do you have a question? Not at the moment?
- 2:04:26Speaker 3: And stories? Bro, Jamis is Jamis is fucking awesome. I
- 2:04:33Speaker 3: love playing with I love God. That's that question you have. Okay, So.
- 2:04:40Speaker 1: All right, the last question before we get into it
- 2:04:42Speaker 1: to your talk. It's time for the twisted question of
- 2:04:44Speaker 1: the day. Keep it twisted with smooth, refreshing twisted tea,
- 2:04:48Speaker 1: the hard iced tea that's perfect for parties, a bar
- 2:04:50Speaker 1: with your buddies, or game day. Grab me twisted today, Foster.
- 2:04:58Speaker 1: One of the more twisted stories from one of your teammates,
- 2:05:01Speaker 1: specifically Jameis Winston.
- 2:05:02Speaker 3: Do you have any good Jameis Winston stories?
- 2:05:05Speaker 6: You know, he's he just kind of made made the
- 2:05:08Speaker 6: news for his uh, for his for his bowfishing antics. Uh,
- 2:05:13Speaker 6: Jamis is an is an unbelievable teammate. I I I
- 2:05:17Speaker 6: haven't even gotten to spend all that much time with him.
- 2:05:19Speaker 6: I really really am looking forward to it. My most
- 2:05:23Speaker 6: my most recent just like queue of of what Jamis
- 2:05:28Speaker 6: was for me. We got in the huddle to call, uh,
- 2:05:31Speaker 6: take a knee at the end of the game, right,
- 2:05:34Speaker 6: and we go And that's that was our situation for
- 2:05:36Speaker 6: the day. Was like the first day we're going to
- 2:05:38Speaker 6: we going to do.
- 2:05:39Speaker 3: Take a knee?
- 2:05:40Speaker 6: And mind you, I don't really know the formations all
- 2:05:42Speaker 6: that well or the play calls, but like I'm fucking studied.
- 2:05:45Speaker 6: I'm on the script. I like I know everything where
- 2:05:48Speaker 6: it's supposed to be. It's like, are you sure that play?
- 2:05:50Speaker 6: Are you sure one in thirty seven Bob here, I'm no,
- 2:05:53Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be like a naked
- 2:05:55Speaker 6: and They're like, anyway, Uh, we go, we go to
- 2:05:58Speaker 6: fucking take a knee. The best playing football, right, Hey,
- 2:06:01Speaker 6: let's call I right tight fucking or green right tight takingnee?
- 2:06:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:06:05Speaker 6: Uh, James gets in there and I fucking for the
- 2:06:10Speaker 6: life you can't tell you what he said, but it
- 2:06:12Speaker 6: was it was something like it was something like, all right, boys,
- 2:06:16Speaker 6: big dub up, let's go get this bitch on three.
- 2:06:19Speaker 3: No. So I was like, what the fuck? And so
- 2:06:22Speaker 3: I line I line up and like, all like, we've
- 2:06:25Speaker 3: just taken thee.
- 2:06:26Speaker 6: It's not a big fucking deal, right, And so I'm
- 2:06:28Speaker 6: jogging off the field and the one of my tight
- 2:06:32Speaker 6: end buddies, Lucas Crawl, comes up and he's like, what
- 2:06:34Speaker 6: the fuck did he just call? And so I was
- 2:06:38Speaker 6: I was confused. I'm still fucking confused, Jamo. I have
- 2:06:41Speaker 6: no idea what you said. Uh, it was just it
- 2:06:44Speaker 6: was so funny though, that he just takes something so
- 2:06:46Speaker 6: small and just he always interjects so much personality into
- 2:06:49Speaker 6: everything that he does. Yeah, I can't I can't wait
- 2:06:52Speaker 6: to go through a full fucking roller coaster of a
- 2:06:55Speaker 6: season with him.
- 2:06:55Speaker 3: It's gonna be awesome.
- 2:06:56Speaker 6: It just gotta be Uh, it's gotta be cool that
- 2:06:59Speaker 6: you and inn DC you're back too, It's very cool.
- 2:07:02Speaker 6: It's uh, it's an unbelievable situation. Uh, just walking around
- 2:07:09Speaker 6: and especially just knowing who DC is and his character
- 2:07:12Speaker 6: and and you've gotten a good taste of that too.
- 2:07:16Speaker 6: He's uh, he's a special guy. Yeah yeah, he's a
- 2:07:20Speaker 6: special guy. And having a familiar face in the locker room.
- 2:07:22Speaker 6: It was awesome for me, especially for the first week
- 2:07:25Speaker 6: showing up.
- 2:07:26Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, let's dive in. Boys. Are you ready? OK?
- 2:07:29Speaker 3: You're talking? Are we doing well?
- 2:07:33Speaker 1: What do we choose here? Do we choose the one
- 2:07:35Speaker 1: year wonders in sports? Are we choosing the old iPhone games?
- 2:07:38Speaker 1: I have old iPhone games on my phone. That's that's
- 2:07:40Speaker 1: that's fine. I'm ready for that.
- 2:07:41Speaker 3: I'm ready with some old games. I'm ready. You have
- 2:07:44Speaker 3: a list.
- 2:07:45Speaker 1: We interrupt this episode before we get to the tier talk.
- 2:07:47Speaker 1: Summer Fridays are a thing of the past.
- 2:07:49Speaker 3: Boys.
- 2:07:49Speaker 1: Here's how we need to start thinking. It's Friday Friday.
- 2:07:52Speaker 1: You get out of work, you grab whiskey. You get
- 2:07:54Speaker 1: out of work, you grab whiskey. We have three different
- 2:07:56Speaker 1: whiskeys here, whistle pig, piggyback on.
- 2:08:00Speaker 3: Let me see if I'm grabbing the right bottle.
- 2:08:02Speaker 1: Age six years made with one hundred percent rye bold
- 2:08:04Speaker 1: spies forward, perfect for maple old fashions. This Rye is
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: the best in the game. Whistle Pick is the most
- 2:08:11Speaker 1: credible Rye brand out there. But they've also dipped their
- 2:08:14Speaker 1: toes into some Piggyback one hunter Proof bourbon.
- 2:08:17Speaker 3: That's their tenure.
- 2:08:18Speaker 1: Show the show them the bust with the boys, the
- 2:08:21Speaker 1: busting with the boys bourbon for Tennessee boys only.
- 2:08:25Speaker 3: Honestly, it's for everybody. But we're in Tennessee right now.
- 2:08:27Speaker 1: Age six years one hunter Proof shines and sour and
- 2:08:30Speaker 1: citrus cocktails, Piggyback rise better half also with the boys.
- 2:08:36Speaker 1: Now this big dog right here, the whistle Pick tenure,
- 2:08:38Speaker 1: this the one you obviously we want you to get
- 2:08:40Speaker 1: your hands on that bus with the boys, but you
- 2:08:42Speaker 1: want that Rye. You want that best Rye in the game.
- 2:08:45Speaker 1: I'm also big for another twelve year. But their whistle
- 2:08:47Speaker 1: pig ten year Rye, the one that started whistle Pick,
- 2:08:51Speaker 1: the one that started the foundation up up in the
- 2:08:54Speaker 1: hills of Vermont, the original disruptor in the game, age
- 2:08:56Speaker 1: ten years one hunter Proof as well. Grab yourself a
- 2:08:59Speaker 1: bottle whistle big whiskey, and kiss your work day goodbye.
- 2:09:02Speaker 1: This summer ride day here is the tier talk. Oh
- 2:09:06Speaker 1: I do get an honorable mention, It's uh, it's an
- 2:09:09Speaker 1: optional Like when we had Lenny on he had a
- 2:09:11Speaker 1: Tier three, a tier two.
- 2:09:12Speaker 3: There was no Tier one. He said, no, I don't
- 2:09:14Speaker 3: got a one.
- 2:09:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I get that. No, I get I understand. Yeah,
- 2:09:17Speaker 2: what a fucking but you guys, you guys like Lentering. Yes,
- 2:09:21Speaker 2: b he's unbelievable.
- 2:09:24Speaker 6: He's a I mean, from a personality standpoint, he's fucking
- 2:09:29Speaker 6: hilarious and he always has been. But I mean, once
- 2:09:34Speaker 6: you really just kind of get to know him, he's, Oh, dude,
- 2:09:36Speaker 6: he's so fucking cool.
- 2:09:37Speaker 1: I love Leonard Bro, you know, love his accent, to
- 2:09:41Speaker 1: his personality, just everything Bro.
- 2:09:45Speaker 3: And he's uh, think dude. And from like.
- 2:09:51Speaker 6: From a very young age, he was slated to be
- 2:09:53Speaker 6: like the guy right he was gonna he was, and
- 2:09:56Speaker 6: he was gonna be it and he was getting balance
- 2:09:58Speaker 6: to the force in a in a weird way.
- 2:10:00Speaker 3: Yeah, like he was. He was supposed to be it.
- 2:10:02Speaker 6: Uh like when you played, like when you played when
- 2:10:06Speaker 6: you played Saint Og and mind you saying Ogg had
- 2:10:08Speaker 6: a bunch of good players, but when you played Saint Ogg,
- 2:10:10Speaker 6: like you were playing against Leonard Fournette and like they
- 2:10:13Speaker 6: were gonna do some crazy ship. But that motherfucker, that
- 2:10:15Speaker 6: motherfucker is gonna have a ball in it. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:10:18Speaker 6: it was cool.
- 2:10:19Speaker 3: It was a great all right, you're talking, so you
- 2:10:23Speaker 3: should go first?
- 2:10:23Speaker 5: There?
- 2:10:24Speaker 1: Does rank of the Bus have a list? Would you
- 2:10:26Speaker 1: guys like to jump in on this? Okay, freaks?
- 2:10:31Speaker 3: All right?
- 2:10:31Speaker 6: Anyway, Uh, I think I think the number one iPhone
- 2:10:37Speaker 6: game started three started three start your honorable men? Sorry
- 2:10:41Speaker 6: sorry sorry sorry sorry? All right, So my my honorable
- 2:10:44Speaker 6: mention is gonna be Jet Packed joy Ride. I don't
- 2:10:47Speaker 6: know if any of you are familiar with that, but
- 2:10:49Speaker 6: that's all. That was a fucking tremendous game. It was
- 2:10:52Speaker 6: a really good game. You guys are looking at me
- 2:10:54Speaker 6: like you like, no, I don't know of my element,
- 2:10:57Speaker 6: no idea.
- 2:10:57Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 2:10:58Speaker 6: Jet Packed joy Ride for those people who had it,
- 2:11:01Speaker 6: it was it was a fire game.
- 2:11:04Speaker 3: And uh fuck.
- 2:11:08Speaker 6: Anyway, well that that's that's the honorable mention.
- 2:11:10Speaker 3: We'll go, We'll go for me. Uh.
- 2:11:13Speaker 6: Number three going back was probably it was probably doodle
- 2:11:21Speaker 6: Jump was a tremendous game on it was for me.
- 2:11:26Speaker 6: I I just always had a lot of fun playing it. Uh,
- 2:11:28Speaker 6: doodle Jump was probably number three, and I also logged
- 2:11:35Speaker 6: a ton of hours on uh words with friends. That
- 2:11:39Speaker 6: probably that'd probably be that probably my number two. Words
- 2:11:43Speaker 6: with Friends was fucking awesome. It was a it was
- 2:11:47Speaker 6: a great game. Well no, they got fucking wordle now
- 2:11:50Speaker 6: and a bunch of other different fucking things. Anyway, Uh,
- 2:11:54Speaker 6: number one, and there's in my in my opinion, there's
- 2:11:57Speaker 6: no way there could be anything else that was number one.
- 2:12:00Speaker 6: It's gotta be. Uh, angry Birds, It's gotta be. It's
- 2:12:09Speaker 6: gotta be.
- 2:12:09Speaker 3: I understand.
- 2:12:10Speaker 1: Like, it's got a fucking movie levers angry Birds into
- 2:12:13Speaker 1: into different movies. It's got four different it's and it's
- 2:12:17Speaker 1: an unbelievable game, is right. Right from the very beginning,
- 2:12:21Speaker 1: it was an unbelievable Yeah, it is a great game.
- 2:12:23Speaker 1: I think you know, Yeah, your list of Are.
- 2:12:26Speaker 3: You aware that we all go around the room now
- 2:12:28Speaker 3: and say one word how I feel about your list?
- 2:12:30Speaker 6: No, but I'm excited for that. I'd like to do
- 2:12:32Speaker 6: a second honorable mention. I'm really I'm breaking. I had
- 2:12:37Speaker 6: one that I had, one that I had remembered that
- 2:12:39Speaker 6: I really wanted that would have replaced Words with Friends.
- 2:12:41Speaker 6: But I stand by Words with Friends. I stand by it.
- 2:12:44Speaker 6: It's a good it's a great move with Friends down
- 2:12:45Speaker 6: to honorable mention and put this boy up at three.
- 2:12:47Speaker 6: It's a great game, but fucking bro Flappy Bird was
- 2:12:51Speaker 6: so good that they had to fucking that that they
- 2:12:56Speaker 6: had to that they had to shut it down because
- 2:12:57Speaker 6: something happened outside of the realm of the flappy Bird network.
- 2:13:01Speaker 6: But they had to shut it down. That's at least
- 2:13:03Speaker 6: what I heard why they shut it down. Reason so well,
- 2:13:06Speaker 6: someone passed away for not someone might have committed suicide.
- 2:13:11Speaker 3: Oh no shit, and a flappy Bird in a related
- 2:13:14Speaker 3: to Flappybird. Wow, I don't know.
- 2:13:17Speaker 6: That was something that I heard back in back whenever
- 2:13:19Speaker 6: Flatpybird came out, and I was unaware of Oh that
- 2:13:24Speaker 6: person might have killed the other person. Yeah, not sure,
- 2:13:29Speaker 6: don't claim to know.
- 2:13:31Speaker 2: I heard this when I was young anyway, Yeah, okay,
- 2:13:36Speaker 2: so yeah, I go, I go angry birds.
- 2:13:39Speaker 6: And I can't have fucking I can't have two different
- 2:13:41Speaker 6: bird games as one and two. Now, fuck that, I'm
- 2:13:43Speaker 6: sticking with words with friends. Doodle Jump at doodle Jump
- 2:13:47Speaker 6: at three was a fucking awesome game. And I know
- 2:13:49Speaker 6: some of the games you guys are gonna say, but
- 2:13:51Speaker 6: I promise they're not that great.
- 2:13:53Speaker 3: And then you don't know some of the games like no, no,
- 2:13:56Speaker 3: I do I know, I do, I do.
- 2:13:57Speaker 6: Uh, And then honorable honorable mention was whatever the fuck
- 2:14:00Speaker 6: I said, Thank you.
- 2:14:01Speaker 2: Appreciate it, thanks, you know, and your last time you
- 2:14:07Speaker 2: were here, the list you guys had will had two
- 2:14:09Speaker 2: football movies.
- 2:14:10Speaker 3: So you can absolutely have to No, I'm good. I know.
- 2:14:13Speaker 3: I'm just giving you the out if you want it,
- 2:14:15Speaker 3: Just give it if you want it. Brother, can we
- 2:14:16Speaker 3: do the word now? Yeah?
- 2:14:17Speaker 9: Garrett gamer solid, Stephen's first word best friends. Oh wow, bird, impeccable,
- 2:14:42Speaker 9: well versed, veteran.
- 2:14:46Speaker 3: That means a lot.
- 2:14:46Speaker 6: That means a lot. That means a lot, and you
- 2:14:48Speaker 6: got the friends to you on that means a lot.
- 2:14:51Speaker 3: Then we go. Would you like to go? Yeah?
- 2:14:53Speaker 2: I mean I'll go go ahead, brother. I wasn't a
- 2:14:56Speaker 2: big iPhone game guy. I want to get that insurance
- 2:14:58Speaker 2: policy out before I go in.
- 2:15:00Speaker 3: I got the mic boys so I can.
- 2:15:05Speaker 1: Uh.
- 2:15:05Speaker 3: My Tier three is gonna go to an o G.
- 2:15:08Speaker 2: You're running away from those crazy monkeys the whole time.
- 2:15:10Speaker 2: It's gonna be Temple run around. Temple runs a good one,
- 2:15:12Speaker 2: collecting the coins, moving back and forth, your slide and
- 2:15:14Speaker 2: you're jumping and moving all the place. Get through the
- 2:15:16Speaker 2: elements Temple runs a solid fucking game. Uh My Tier
- 2:15:20Speaker 2: two is the game I still play to this day.
- 2:15:23Speaker 2: Well is it classic iPhone games?
- 2:15:26Speaker 1: It's whatever, it's whatever you want. I could almost I
- 2:15:29Speaker 1: know what you're I know what you're gonna say.
- 2:15:30Speaker 3: What am I saying?
- 2:15:30Speaker 6: I'm gonna say clash clans? No idiot, no fucking dumb fuck.
- 2:15:37Speaker 3: You are a gamer?
- 2:15:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you're a gamer. You're an absolute gamer. Maybe you
- 2:15:41Speaker 1: play Super Smash Brothers and I have you again, I'm okay.
- 2:15:48Speaker 1: I was better on I was better on uh uh,
- 2:15:52Speaker 1: I was better on Melee?
- 2:15:54Speaker 2: All right, m my Tier two is going to I'd
- 2:16:00Speaker 2: be contradictory to everything I've I've said about this sport.
- 2:16:03Speaker 3: But Ultimate Golf. It is a game you can play
- 2:16:06Speaker 3: with your friends, play against each other. You go hold
- 2:16:08Speaker 3: a hole. It's fun. There's tournaments.
- 2:16:09Speaker 6: When did that come out twenty like, when did you
- 2:16:14Speaker 6: get into it?
- 2:16:14Speaker 3: Big? Oh? A year ago? Okay, and I'm pretty I'm
- 2:16:19Speaker 3: pretty solid.
- 2:16:20Speaker 6: What did you say now that they were talking about
- 2:16:22Speaker 6: Super stick Man Golf, which is also another which is
- 2:16:24Speaker 6: another good game.
- 2:16:25Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, I never no good, that's no.
- 2:16:28Speaker 2: But I probably invested over five hundred dollars in that game,
- 2:16:30Speaker 2: getting better clubs and balls, like when I'm in, brother,
- 2:16:34Speaker 2: I'm in.
- 2:16:34Speaker 3: I get it.
- 2:16:35Speaker 2: No, I get it, I get it, And I'm gonna
- 2:16:36Speaker 2: be honest with you. Five hundreds alone number I definitely
- 2:16:38Speaker 2: was going hard. Fine, Nope, just trying to make myself
- 2:16:40Speaker 2: look a little better. Play I play FIFA Ultimate Team. Yeah,
- 2:16:44Speaker 2: I bought a pack. I bought pack since it's been
- 2:16:47Speaker 2: an ugly journey. Yeah, how much point have you put
- 2:16:50Speaker 2: into this FIFA? Not not all that much as much
- 2:16:53Speaker 2: as on your wrist, hopefully not. Yeah, oh but it's
- 2:16:58Speaker 2: maybe hopefully not. Yeah, yeah, no, I doubt it, hopefully.
- 2:17:02Speaker 1: And my Tier one is going to go to a
- 2:17:06Speaker 1: game called Smurf Village. Me and the boy Jake Ryan
- 2:17:10Speaker 1: Shadow Jake Ryan Uh.
- 2:17:12Speaker 2: We would play this game and essentially you start off
- 2:17:14Speaker 2: with a plot of land and you can build houses,
- 2:17:16Speaker 2: there's some farming. You'd be take actual time, like if
- 2:17:19Speaker 2: I wanted to play on watermelons a little legitimately take
- 2:17:22Speaker 2: twelve hours to make which get more money that way,
- 2:17:23Speaker 2: and you can obviously acquire more things, so I legit
- 2:17:26Speaker 2: would set timers on my phone like two am to
- 2:17:30Speaker 2: make sure I could harvest my watermelon and put something
- 2:17:33Speaker 2: else out there and hurry, yeah, back and forth.
- 2:17:35Speaker 3: I had.
- 2:17:36Speaker 2: I had a pretty nice fucking setup out there, very
- 2:17:38Speaker 2: well put together game. I love that game. I love
- 2:17:41Speaker 2: I should probably bring them back. Actually, that's my tear
- 2:17:43Speaker 2: top right, not listening.
- 2:17:57Speaker 3: Interesting variety, uh unique, we are best friends. Don't say
- 2:18:10Speaker 3: it like that hyphenated financially invested adolescence. I have one.
- 2:18:21Speaker 3: I have one. Uh thick ah, sure.
- 2:18:40Speaker 1: That one better than expected. My dad went better than
- 2:18:44Speaker 1: than expected from me, So I'll take you boys.
- 2:18:45Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 2:18:46Speaker 1: You guys got a license plate over there with thick
- 2:18:48Speaker 1: on it or something that says thick body washing Duke Cannon.
- 2:18:52Speaker 3: Oh nice.
- 2:18:53Speaker 6: Yeah, I was more thinking thick brain with friends though,
- 2:18:58Speaker 6: playing things with friends like that where you got no
- 2:19:01Speaker 6: I totally get that. And that's what makes it fun though, Yeah,
- 2:19:04Speaker 6: like you having the timers and you having that like
- 2:19:06Speaker 6: how how long ago was that?
- 2:19:07Speaker 3: That was twenty college twelve, twenty eleven.
- 2:19:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I having those like suppressed but kind of burned memories.
- 2:19:13Speaker 6: That's the that's the part of the fun, the old
- 2:19:16Speaker 6: and too. I feel like all those games with timing,
- 2:19:19Speaker 6: Like there's all those.
- 2:19:20Speaker 1: Games where you gotta wait for something to get hatched
- 2:19:22Speaker 1: or grown or built or whatnot. I feel like a
- 2:19:24Speaker 1: lot of that too, is in like the college years,
- 2:19:26Speaker 1: like when you're in the training room and you're just
- 2:19:28Speaker 1: bored as fuck.
- 2:19:29Speaker 3: Trying to tap in. Yeah as much pre down, You're like, fuck, now,
- 2:19:31Speaker 3: I gotta what can I do next? In the training meetings?
- 2:19:36Speaker 3: Stuff done?
- 2:19:37Speaker 6: But yeah, you're at the bar. Yeah, you're at the bar.
- 2:19:38Speaker 6: Ats three a m. You're like, holy fuck my catalogs.
- 2:19:43Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I forgot to check out my catalogs at
- 2:19:47Speaker 3: the bar, dude, I'm making sure. Yeah.
- 2:19:49Speaker 1: My favorite like time invested game like that was when
- 2:19:51Speaker 1: they came out with like Jurassic Park, like building the Little.
- 2:19:53Speaker 3: World you can I don't even know that existed. Yeah yeah,
- 2:19:56Speaker 3: but so.
- 2:19:57Speaker 1: It's hard because you just get so impatient. But anyways,
- 2:20:02Speaker 1: my honorable mention is gonna go to your one Anger Birds.
- 2:20:05Speaker 1: I feel like that's not necessarily my generation, you know
- 2:20:10Speaker 1: what I mean. I feel like that was kind of
- 2:20:11Speaker 1: a later developed. I wanted to pick a few games that,
- 2:20:14Speaker 1: like you know, some OG games, Sure you're different. Yeah,
- 2:20:18Speaker 1: my Tier three is gonna be an interesting one, and
- 2:20:20Speaker 1: I would be fascinated. I would be surprised if anybody
- 2:20:24Speaker 1: has heard of this game because it's only it was
- 2:20:27Speaker 1: only on the iPhone one and you can only jail
- 2:20:30Speaker 1: you at the back, break break your phone. You could
- 2:20:33Speaker 1: get this game and get more levels by jail breaking
- 2:20:35Speaker 1: even farther when you got on the you know the
- 2:20:37Speaker 1: websites and shit like that. Shout out to Nick Hallet
- 2:20:39Speaker 1: who always got us the newest levels. But it goes
- 2:20:42Speaker 1: to I Digger. You got to go through all these
- 2:20:45Speaker 1: levels and you're racing against creatures underground. You're trying to
- 2:20:49Speaker 1: build stuff out, you're trying to move objects. Idigger was
- 2:20:52Speaker 1: the first iPhone game we all fell in love with.
- 2:20:57Speaker 3: Shout out North.
- 2:20:58Speaker 1: County High School back at North County when we were yeah,
- 2:21:02Speaker 1: I don't know what if you're with me, yes, sir,
- 2:21:05Speaker 1: they'll be back one day.
- 2:21:08Speaker 3: Tier two is going to go to Kingdom Rush.
- 2:21:14Speaker 1: Kingdom Rush any type of tower defense game, like when
- 2:21:18Speaker 1: being in the training room and everything else. I loved
- 2:21:20Speaker 1: all the tower defense games, but Kingdom Rush was the
- 2:21:22Speaker 1: first one I fell in love with. Like building up
- 2:21:25Speaker 1: you know, all of your armory, your defense, your fucking
- 2:21:30Speaker 1: you know, your attackers, like getting getting leveling up to
- 2:21:33Speaker 1: three levels, all that stuff, all the Tower defense games.
- 2:21:35Speaker 3: I was obsessed with those and my tier one, my
- 2:21:40Speaker 3: Tier one Fun Run Fun.
- 2:21:45Speaker 1: Run back in like two thy twelve eleven thirteen era,
- 2:21:50Speaker 1: fun Run decided lineups in one of my boys' weddings
- 2:21:55Speaker 1: because he couldn't decide how he wanted to labelist John
- 2:21:57Speaker 1: Wicker shot out the boy John Wigger other one. He
- 2:22:02Speaker 1: didn't want to choose out of the four of us,
- 2:22:05Speaker 1: how he's gonna put us in the line, so we
- 2:22:06Speaker 1: all had to play fun Run. Another one the boys
- 2:22:09Speaker 1: wanted a Nebraska game jersey, so I made him play
- 2:22:12Speaker 1: fun Run to see who would get the Nebraska game jersey.
- 2:22:14Speaker 1: But fun Run in the in the locker room with friends,
- 2:22:18Speaker 1: because that was multiplayer where you had these four fucking
- 2:22:21Speaker 1: little what are they even called, like these little critters
- 2:22:24Speaker 1: bro what Yeah, like a little animals, different color and
- 2:22:27Speaker 1: you're just gruesome though.
- 2:22:28Speaker 6: A little South Park critics like yeah for the Christmas special.
- 2:22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and that one, like you know, you always wanted
- 2:22:37Speaker 1: the boys to tap in into the lobbying, like yo, hey,
- 2:22:39Speaker 1: we're all in all right, let's start this thing up,
- 2:22:41Speaker 1: and it would be fun Runs by number one man.
- 2:22:43Speaker 3: That was a that was a blast back when that
- 2:22:45Speaker 3: was out.
- 2:22:46Speaker 6: It was only like connectivity problems were the only thing
- 2:22:48Speaker 6: that really helped that game back for me.
- 2:22:51Speaker 3: I loved it. I loved I thought it was a
- 2:22:52Speaker 3: fucking blast. Yeah. Yeah, we'd play for hours.
- 2:22:55Speaker 1: There was another game too, like in training camp when
- 2:22:57Speaker 1: I would try and kill time between meetings and everything else.
- 2:23:01Speaker 1: Being one of my boys, Matt May, we'd sit in
- 2:23:03Speaker 1: like this, uh, in one of like the study hall
- 2:23:06Speaker 1: rooms where nobody could nobody could find us, and uh,
- 2:23:09Speaker 1: there's like this, uh there's this shark game where you
- 2:23:13Speaker 1: get bigger as you eat.
- 2:23:16Speaker 3: Play.
- 2:23:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:23:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and we were fucking into that game. Man.
- 2:23:19Speaker 1: That should have probably you know what, that's gonna be
- 2:23:22Speaker 1: honorable mention taking out angry birds that I gotta figure
- 2:23:27Speaker 1: out what it's called. But yeah, we played that one.
- 2:23:28Speaker 3: We love playing that too, because you start as a
- 2:23:30Speaker 3: small and a lot of hazards out there.
- 2:23:35Speaker 1: Things.
- 2:23:36Speaker 3: When you become like a makele it down, which I
- 2:23:38Speaker 3: think is like the last one.
- 2:23:39Speaker 1: When you figure out how to like swim in some
- 2:23:40Speaker 1: of them narrow lanes in your boys, how are you
- 2:23:42Speaker 1: figuring that out?
- 2:23:43Speaker 3: I'm just a little different at different.
- 2:23:46Speaker 6: You got the look you got loose thumb, I got
- 2:23:49Speaker 6: the wiggle thumb.
- 2:23:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. Yeah that's good, but uh that's
- 2:23:52Speaker 3: my tiar talk. Yeah, old head thumb. God damn it
- 2:24:07Speaker 3: boredom vintage almost I win.
- 2:24:19Speaker 6: Saved with Fun Run. Sure was absolutely was saved with
- 2:24:23Speaker 6: Fun Run. That's okay, that's okay. Did you guys play
- 2:24:27Speaker 6: no way? You guys played Madden Mobile when it first
- 2:24:29Speaker 6: came out, that came out on iOS, Madden Mobile. Yeah,
- 2:24:33Speaker 6: fucking unbelievable game.
- 2:24:35Speaker 1: That was.
- 2:24:36Speaker 6: I guess it just wasn't going you telling you it
- 2:24:38Speaker 6: was crazy fun for that one year that it came out.
- 2:24:40Speaker 3: Did you ever play the ESPN Linebacker game? You make
- 2:24:46Speaker 3: the app yourself? Was that a really? I was gonna say?
- 2:24:48Speaker 1: Is that? Like?
- 2:24:48Speaker 4: Was that?
- 2:24:49Speaker 3: Was that an ever? Dream?
- 2:24:50Speaker 1: But there was a Linebacker game and your boy, I
- 2:24:52Speaker 1: was fucking like a top fifty in the world score
- 2:24:54Speaker 1: at one point one of my Predator game. There's a
- 2:24:57Speaker 1: Predator game out too, that was kind of a one
- 2:24:59Speaker 1: hit one thing.
- 2:25:00Speaker 6: So I played a uh or my buddy back in college,
- 2:25:04Speaker 6: my old one of my old college roommates was like
- 2:25:07Speaker 6: got up to number four in like in c doublea
- 2:25:10Speaker 6: fourteen online mode. He was fucking unbelievable. Really, he was unconscious.
- 2:25:18Speaker 6: I think he I he might have played with A
- 2:25:20Speaker 6: and M. But he had like a custom playbook like
- 2:25:23Speaker 6: OU's playbook or something on that year.
- 2:25:25Speaker 3: Yeah, he was. He was unconscious.
- 2:25:27Speaker 6: And like we all bought like Xbox three sixties and
- 2:25:31Speaker 6: we all bought n CUAA fourteen and we had like
- 2:25:34Speaker 6: we had twelve guys playing a connected Dynasty mode. And
- 2:25:38Speaker 6: I'm not shoitting you. Some of my funnest times like
- 2:25:41Speaker 6: playing video games was with those guys.
- 2:25:43Speaker 3: Dude, one when my earlier years of wasthing it.
- 2:25:47Speaker 1: We had a Madden league, but Madden fifteen was my
- 2:25:50Speaker 1: was the when I was that was my best year
- 2:25:53Speaker 1: of Madden because I'd stopp playing I think after sixteen.
- 2:25:56Speaker 1: But uh, I got as high as two point three
- 2:25:58Speaker 1: percent in the oh yeah, yes, bro online. But we
- 2:26:02Speaker 1: had a league with a lot of us and those
- 2:26:04Speaker 1: were those are some of the best times. Probably the
- 2:26:07Speaker 1: the longest tenured game I played with the squad was
- 2:26:10Speaker 1: also a Rainbow six. Rainbow Yeah, yeah, Rainbow six was
- 2:26:15Speaker 1: the good old days. I tried getting the boys on
- 2:26:16Speaker 1: Rainbow six. I think, uh, I mean, you can't beat risk.
- 2:26:21Speaker 1: I think that's I mean, risky is awesome, but there's
- 2:26:23Speaker 1: something about like PUBG. Were you big on PUBG or
- 2:26:25Speaker 1: were you more?
- 2:26:26Speaker 3: Uh four, I feel like you were probably a Fortnite guy.
- 2:26:29Speaker 6: I came out, I got Fortnite, and this is gonna
- 2:26:31Speaker 6: sound what a fucking weird flex for me? Uh I
- 2:26:34Speaker 6: got Fortnite initially before the Battle Royale even was like
- 2:26:38Speaker 6: a big thing, and it was just like the campaign mode.
- 2:26:42Speaker 6: Did you know that fucking Fortnite had a campaign.
- 2:26:44Speaker 3: Mode before there?
- 2:26:46Speaker 6: Like you could get on with three of your buddies
- 2:26:48Speaker 6: and you could you literally built up your fort and
- 2:26:50Speaker 6: you defended it against zombies. It was basically like just
- 2:26:53Speaker 6: a zombie Horde defense like basically a tower defense game.
- 2:26:55Speaker 1: Yeah, those are fun. Remember Call Duty, the first zombies
- 2:26:59Speaker 1: that came out, only Calor Dudy. I played oh Bro
- 2:27:02Speaker 1: crazy crazy with the zombies right though that was not
- 2:27:06Speaker 1: around holiday season too, so Thanksgiving Christmas, like you're just
- 2:27:09Speaker 1: it was with the boys, dude, tell the girls you
- 2:27:13Speaker 1: got stuff going on.
- 2:27:14Speaker 6: I remember getting to like do you get to new
- 2:27:15Speaker 6: levels and be like, oh I got the dogs dogs?
- 2:27:18Speaker 3: Oh my god?
- 2:27:19Speaker 1: Yes, you know, all of a sudden you're getting like
- 2:27:21Speaker 1: you're getting motherfucked and you have no idea from what,
- 2:27:24Speaker 1: Like you're looking for a zombie, but all of a sudden,
- 2:27:26Speaker 1: there's a fucking demon dog. Yeah, so cool, and that's too,
- 2:27:29Speaker 1: like you would try and search like message boards to
- 2:27:31Speaker 1: figure out like what little.
- 2:27:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, a little easter lay eggs are on
- 2:27:35Speaker 2: each level, hunting down Reddit, trying to figure out what
- 2:27:38Speaker 2: the fuck is going on?
- 2:27:39Speaker 3: Yeah, doing video games. I know we've already done that,
- 2:27:43Speaker 3: but yeah, we could do video games again one day.
- 2:27:45Speaker 3: But I think it's it's fun to take this trip
- 2:27:47Speaker 3: down memory lane right here.
- 2:27:49Speaker 6: That's good, a great, it's a great. It's a great topic. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:27:52Speaker 6: you saved it, saved it with fun Run. But it's
- 2:27:55Speaker 6: good though it's like you don't see it no when
- 2:27:57Speaker 6: I swaw, Like I don't know if anybody out there
- 2:28:00Speaker 6: those of by digger, but it's the ones you don't Yeah,
- 2:28:01Speaker 6: it's the ones you don't remember, right, Like someone listening
- 2:28:04Speaker 6: might have that repressed memory, like oh my god.
- 2:28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, if there's an an og iPhone like the very
- 2:28:09Speaker 1: first generation, like Nick and I would even search on
- 2:28:12Speaker 1: the later iPhones if somebody on a message board had
- 2:28:15Speaker 1: created it somewhere else that we can get it back on. Yeah,
- 2:28:19Speaker 1: and a fucking blast. Yeah, it's good stuff. Good stuff, boys,
- 2:28:22Speaker 1: this is a good pot. Hey, thank you for fucking
- 2:28:24Speaker 1: talking about all awesome. Thanks guys. I know you haven't
- 2:28:27Speaker 1: done it much out there, so yeah, I appreciate it. Yeah, man,
- 2:28:30Speaker 1: this was a good opportunity. And you know, obviously coming
- 2:28:33Speaker 1: on and shooting the ship with you guys is it's fun.
- 2:28:36Speaker 1: I always enjoy its good officially meeting you too. Yeah, absolutely,
- 2:28:39Speaker 1: this is nice. You're a handsomer in person.
- 2:28:42Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 2:28:42Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, I appreciate that, no problem. He is a
- 2:28:44Speaker 1: handsome cat. Yeah right, great. I don't want to do
- 2:28:47Speaker 1: it now, subscribe, leave comments, that's what you do. Big hugs,
- 2:28:52Speaker 1: tiny kisses.
- 2:28:56Speaker 3: Thanks,
