  Speaker 1: So we're gonna tackle John chapter six in the New

  Speaker 1: King James, and we're gonna go. Let me see, We're

  Speaker 1: gonna go through verse one through verse four, Verse one

  Speaker 1: through verse four, So follow along with me. And it
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: says after those things, Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee,

  Speaker 1: which is the Sea of Tiberius. Then a great multitude

  Speaker 1: follow him because they saw his signs which he performed

  Speaker 1: on those who were diseased Amen. They saw the power
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: that came from his life. So the crowds were drawn

  Speaker 1: to Jesus. Amen. And Jesus went up on a mountain,

  Speaker 1: and there he sat with his disciples verse four. Now

  Speaker 1: the passover a feast of the Jews was near. All right,

  Speaker 1: noticed that this miracle is significant. Now, after these scenes,

  Speaker 1: sets the stage for Jesus to reveal himself as the

  Speaker 1: true Bread of Heaven, connecting back to the Manna in

  Speaker 1: the wilderness. Now, I just want to take notes how

  Speaker 1: he reveals himself to Israel as the true Bread of heaven.

  Speaker 1: And if you remember with me, in the last chapter,
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: he revealed himself to the Samaritan woman as the water
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: of life, the water to where you will never again. Amen.

  Speaker 1: Jesus is the answer to every human need that we have.

  Speaker 1: Every problem, every dilemma, every thirst, every hunger, it points
• 9:14
  Speaker 1: back to Jesus. Now notice this. The crowd followed Jesus

  Speaker 1: not for who he was, but for what he did.

  Speaker 1: Now that's a word for us. It's easy to chase blessings,
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: but Jesus wants relationship, and every relationship is forged out
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: of a discipline, prayer, life. Before the miracles even happened,
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: Jesus withdrew with his disciples intimacy before impact. So take notice,

  Speaker 1: he would always withdraw, he would always come to a
• 10:01
  Speaker 1: place of intimacy before we saw the impact, the miracles
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: and the fruit that came from his life. Amen. All right,

  Speaker 1: let's go through five and nine. The Jesus lifted up
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: his eyes, and, seeing a great multitude coming towards him,

  Speaker 1: he said to Philip, where shall we buy bread that
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: these may eat? But he said he said it to
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: test him, for he himself knew what he would do.

  Speaker 1: The Philip answered him, two hundred dinari worth of bread

  Speaker 1: you're wondering, Lord, how am I gonna make it? But

  Speaker 1: actually got me through COVID. I was quarantined to my

  Speaker 1: song and we would have prayer meetings in the house

  Speaker 1: and things like that. And this speaks actually to my

  Speaker 1: own heart, because I had to come to a new

  Speaker 1: place of surrender, a new place of trust, look like

  Speaker 1: you lost another one. A new place where I can
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: love and submit and follow our Lord. Amen. Chapter ten,

  Speaker 1: I mean verse ten, that chapter verse ten through thirteen
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: that Jesus said, make the people sit down. Now there
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: was much grass in this place. So the men sat
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: down in the number about five thousand, and Jesus took
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: the lows, and when he had given thanks, he distributed

  Speaker 1: them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down,

  Speaker 1: and likewise of the fish as much as they wanted.

  Speaker 1: So when they were filled, he said to his disciples,

  Speaker 1: Therefore they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with

  Speaker 1: over by those who had eaten. Then those men, when

  Speaker 1: they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, this

  Speaker 1: is truly the prophet who is to come into the world.

  Speaker 1: And Jesus took the lows, and when he had given thanks,

  Speaker 1: he distributed them as much as they wanted. Now, Jesus

  Speaker 1: is always giving thanks before his miracles. Gratitude activates our faith.

  Speaker 1: God can't multiply what's in chaos. Remember that sometimes he

  Speaker 1: We have to sit down, and we have to allow

  Speaker 1: the Lord to do the work all right, Verse fourteen

  Speaker 1: through twenty one. And those men, and they had seen
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: the sign that Jesus did, said, this is truly the
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: prophet who is to come into the world. Therefore, when

  Speaker 1: Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: him by force to make him king, he departed again

  Speaker 1: to the mountain by himself alone. Hallelujah. Now, it's amazing

  Speaker 1: disciples were with him. So crowd that big, he was

  Speaker 1: some of us might ask, like, was it just the

  Speaker 1: purpose of him coming to become king? Yes, he is

  Speaker 1: king of kings, he is the Lord of lords, and

  Speaker 1: he will one day rule. But this was not God's timing.

  Speaker 1: This was man's doing. Be careful for allowing man to
• 17:42
  Speaker 1: work in your life, because what man gives man can
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: take away a man. Now, when the evening came, his
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: disciples went down to the sea, got into the boat,
• 17:56
  Speaker 1: and went over the sea towards Capernaum. And it was

  Speaker 1: already dark, and Jesus had not come to them. Then
• 18:05
  Speaker 1: the sea arose because of the great wind was blowing.

  Speaker 1: So when they had rowed about three and four miles,

  Speaker 1: they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near

  Speaker 1: to the boat, and they were afraid, but he said

  Speaker 1: to them, it is I, do not be afraid. And

  Speaker 1: they willingly received him into the boat, and immediately the

  Speaker 1: boat was at the land where they were going. Wow,

  Speaker 1: this is amazing. Now, the other Gobel gospels, Gobbles, the

  Speaker 1: Jesus just performed. But let's break it down right now

  Speaker 1: and look at it from the perspective of John. Here. Now,

  Speaker 1: I said, it was not God's timing, and for them

  Speaker 1: it was for the wrong reason. They wanted a political savior,

  Speaker 1: not a spiritual one. Now, later that night, when the

  Speaker 1: disciples faced the storm, Jesus revealed his divine nature again

  Speaker 1: by walking on the water. Now, here's what the Lord
• 19:40
  Speaker 1: showed me. Some of us just want Jesus to fix
• 19:45
  Speaker 1: the outside storm, but He's more interested in cleaning the
• 19:52
  Speaker 1: storm inside you. He wants to calm the storm that's
• 19:59
  Speaker 1: in your heart and in your mind. His words, it

  Speaker 1: is I do not be afraid, still, echoes today. When

  Speaker 1: you truly hear his voice, peace returns to your soul. Amen,
