Speaker 1: Shechem sagnifies the continuity of God's covenant. It was through Joseph,

Speaker 1: and take my bones to the promised land. Now that

Speaker 1: strength in bearing a burden, symbolically the bones of the

Speaker 1: patriarch's rest there to show God carrying his people through generations.

Speaker 1: future assignments. Moses learned diplomacy. He also learned leadership and

Speaker 1: as Christians, we would say, oh that's compromised. Right. Let's

Speaker 1: lady excited about serving God, very young into faith, and

Speaker 1: you know, I'm trying to teach her and leader the

Speaker 1: your calling. Let somebody else do that. And so this

Speaker 1: young lady, she was struggling to come out of life

Speaker 1: of homosexuality, She was struggling to stop smoking her weed,

Speaker 1: and you know, she just these are the things that

Speaker 1: she was Guy was delivering her from. But she was

Speaker 1: determined to be like this artist. She wanted to go

Speaker 1: to the clubs. She wanted to go to the bars

Speaker 1: and do her music. And I said, well, first of all,

Speaker 1: you're not mature because you haven't gotten the victory yet

Speaker 1: in that area. This is spiritual. The enemy will eat

Speaker 1: your lunch. And see. Sometimes people thought that I was

Speaker 1: too strict with my ministry. They thought that I wanted

Speaker 1: to control the artists and restrict them from freedom. There's

Speaker 1: a difference between freedom and are you able to handle

Speaker 1: that freedom? Are you mature enough? Are you able to

Speaker 1: do that and not go to hell and not destroy yourself?

Speaker 1: And so that's the counsel that I was giving her.

Speaker 1: I was like, look, you, if you go, you're going

Speaker 1: to go back to your old life. If you go

Speaker 1: and build Pharaoh's kingdom. Right. But he knew Moses would

Speaker 1: have a heart for his people, for the Israelites, and

Speaker 1: have a heart and compassion to see them delivered as

Speaker 1: we saw. So there's a lot of factors. You can't

Speaker 1: just say because somebody's doing it, I can do it too,

Speaker 1: especially if you're not spiritually equipped and able to do so,

Speaker 1: and if God has not called you to amen. All right,

Speaker 1: I don't know where that came from. That just trigger

Speaker 1: received the best education. God was shaping a leader long

Speaker 1: before Moses understood why God was shaping his life. And

Speaker 1: uses you publicly, he trains you privately. Don't despise the

Speaker 1: season you're in. It might be God building your skill sets.

Speaker 1: or recognize you. They need to recognize the hand of
