- 0:22A little bit of Craig.
- 0:24What's going on, guys?
- 0:25What is going on?
- 0:31I have not seen the new video yet.
- 0:34I just got out of a meeting,
- 0:36but I did see a pop-up.
- 0:37I cannot wait to watch it.
- 0:39I think we're on the same
- 0:42wavelength a little bit today.
- 0:43We'll see what happens.
- 0:47We got Howie in the house.
- 0:48We got Jody, Annie Shoup, Jar Jar, Corey,
- 0:55Eric, Vicky, Kenneth.
- 0:57Whoa, we are packing them in today.
- 1:01Packing them in.
- 1:03All right.
- 1:07What field do you work in, Scott?
- 1:08So I work for the state of
- 1:10Ohio and I work in I.T.
- 1:15right now.
- 1:16It's really just where I
- 1:17want to be to ride out my career.
- 1:20I did a lot of I was the head trainer.
- 1:23for a department with the
- 1:24state of Ohio and I taught
- 1:26people how to train, how to present.
- 1:30Um,
- 1:30that's what I did for most of my career.
- 1:33Um,
- 1:33and I also kind of ran different
- 1:35programs.
- 1:36I had like two hats,
- 1:37but now I'm just kind of riding it out,
- 1:39doing testing of systems, um,
- 1:42and just enjoying, uh,
- 1:44being a mushroom in the corner.
- 1:48So, um, so what's going on everybody?
- 1:54It's been a hectic couple of days for me.
- 1:57Um,
- 1:58when you say what you feel on the
- 2:00internet, people like to, uh,
- 2:02come back and, um, argue with you.
- 2:07And we're going to get into
- 2:08that a little bit.
- 2:10Um,
- 2:10if you have asked me to sign up for the
- 2:12fantasy football league,
- 2:13I have sent out links to everybody.
- 2:15I think if I haven't,
- 2:17I have responded to you on
- 2:19either YouTube or Instagram.
- 2:21Um,
- 2:22Make sure you get signed up.
- 2:23The draft will be tomorrow
- 2:25night at eight o'clock Eastern time.
- 2:29We'll draft teams.
- 2:29If you can't be there, you can auto draft.
- 2:32Just click the button so it
- 2:33doesn't take a lot of time
- 2:34to go through those.
- 2:37Other than that, that's all set up.
- 2:41I don't know if you guys have noticed,
- 2:43but Rogue has sent out
- 2:45their first announcement of
- 2:48an invite to the Rogue Invitational.
- 2:50That is Gracie Walton.
- 2:51That was their first announcement today.
- 2:56So they are beginning the
- 2:58invite announcements out on
- 3:03Instagram right now.
- 3:05So, wow, lots of people in today.
- 3:09So yesterday...
- 3:12I made a comment that I felt
- 3:16like the WFP was missing the storyline.
- 3:19I got a lot of heat for that,
- 3:22but so be it.
- 3:25That is what it is.
- 3:27This is what I'm going to say.
- 3:29I do research before I come on the show.
- 3:31I look and everybody's
- 3:33trying to convince me that
- 3:34they've said this storyline
- 3:35and they have not.
- 3:36They keep saying race to Copenhagen,
- 3:39race to Copenhagen.
- 3:40What the hell does race to
- 3:41Copenhagen mean?
- 3:42If you do not understand the
- 3:45season structure of what the WFP is.
- 3:48So I went to their website
- 3:51and this is their season leaderboard.
- 3:55Here it is.
- 3:55It has still not been
- 3:57updated with tour stop two.
- 4:00So here you are.
- 4:03This is still Austin
- 4:04Hatfield in the lead
- 4:05because he won tour stop one.
- 4:08And then this is their leaderboard,
- 4:10but it's just a spreadsheet.
- 4:12This is all men.
- 4:14There's no way to flip to anything.
- 4:16Oh,
- 4:16and then you scroll down to fifty and
- 4:18then the women start just
- 4:20in the middle of this spreadsheet.
- 4:23And if this is your idea of
- 4:26telling a story.
- 4:28OK.
- 4:30you got me this is such a
- 4:32fascinating way to tell a
- 4:33story I couldn't even find
- 4:36the women until I scrolled
- 4:37around for a while um so
- 4:42anyway that is their season
- 4:47leaderboard this is it
- 4:48right here yesterday my
- 4:52stats and info person holly is amazing
- 4:56She started working on the
- 4:57actual storyline and we
- 5:03came up with something.
- 5:08So I'm going to share that
- 5:09screen if I can here.
- 5:16Let's go with this one.
- 5:18Okay.
- 5:19So I know this is small.
- 5:21I'm going to try to blow this up.
- 5:24this is after tour stop two
- 5:26whoops let's try to drag
- 5:29this down okay so here we
- 5:31have the dark green is tour
- 5:34stop one points
- 5:36light green is tour stop two
- 5:38points together is the
- 5:40total points on the end
- 5:42here we can see that james
- 5:43sprague is in the lead
- 5:45roman krennikoff is in
- 5:46second austin hatfield is
- 5:47in third going into the
- 5:49last um going into the last
- 5:51event but where I find the
- 5:54real intrigue is is at this
- 5:56red line because if you
- 5:59finish above this red line
- 6:01you get the pro card for
- 6:03next year and the automatic salary
- 6:07If you finish below the red line,
- 6:09then you either lose your
- 6:11pro card from this year or
- 6:17you have missed out on
- 6:18trying to obtain that.
- 6:22So what I find fascinating
- 6:24and where I think the storyline is,
- 6:26is that Travis Mayer,
- 6:29with anybody with an asterisk,
- 6:31is a pro card member currently.
- 6:34So right now, Travis Mayer, Yonikoski, BKG,
- 6:38Jeff Adler sit outside the top twenty.
- 6:44And therefore,
- 6:45they could lose their pro
- 6:47card without a good
- 6:49performance in Copenhagen.
- 6:51You have people like Luka
- 6:53Djokic and Victor Hoffer
- 6:55sitting right inside the line that could
- 7:00could be losing theirs with
- 7:01a bad performance.
- 7:04Right?
- 7:05But then you look all the
- 7:06way up here and you see
- 7:07people like Colton Mertens
- 7:09firmly that didn't get a
- 7:12pro card that's sitting in
- 7:14a pro card spot.
- 7:17Enola Kai firmly in.
- 7:20That's the storyline, people.
- 7:23That's what everybody gets.
- 7:24That's what's so easy to
- 7:26understand if you just make
- 7:28a good picture and take the
- 7:29time to do it.
- 7:32Holly did this.
- 7:34It's so easy.
- 7:36Now,
- 7:36where we get a little bit confused is
- 7:38on the women's side,
- 7:39and I'm going to share that
- 7:40screen as well.
- 7:44I think this is it.
- 7:46Yeah, here we go.
- 7:49on the women's side what we
- 7:50have here is if you go out
- 7:53to um if you go out to
- 7:57competition corner
- 7:59currently uh alexis raptus
- 8:03maddie sturt and um yeah
- 8:10What's her name?
- 8:11Jamie Simmons do not have a rank at all.
- 8:15So we could not give them
- 8:16points because we don't
- 8:17know what their rank is.
- 8:19That has not been updated.
- 8:22But again, the fascinating piece with this,
- 8:25let's look at the red line first.
- 8:27You have Emily Rolfe on the
- 8:28outside looking in,
- 8:29Paige Semenza on the outside looking in,
- 8:32Alex Gazan on the outside looking in.
- 8:34Now, if we did a simulation,
- 8:38if Raptors and Sturt get some points,
- 8:40they would be on the other
- 8:42side of the red line.
- 8:44Haley Adams,
- 8:45Emma McQuaid have not even competed yet,
- 8:47so they're on the outside looking in.
- 8:49Those are five pro cards on the outside.
- 8:56Looking on the inside,
- 8:59you have really some people
- 9:02who have solidified some spots,
- 9:04and Halpin is saying that
- 9:06Those have been updated.
- 9:08It was not updated before I
- 9:09started work today,
- 9:10so I have not been able to
- 9:12update our spreadsheet.
- 9:13I'll get that done today.
- 9:18So with adding those points in,
- 9:21Ellen Wilkinson and Hannah
- 9:22Black move outside the red line for sure.
- 9:27But I'll have Holly update
- 9:32that if their rankings are
- 9:34updated on Competition Corner.
- 9:37So, but then you go to the top.
- 9:40Here are your top three
- 9:41going into the final event.
- 9:43Amy Kringle sits in the lead.
- 9:45That's a story.
- 9:47Lucy Campbell, Laura Horvath.
- 9:50That's a great top five to
- 9:52be talking about going into
- 9:53the final event.
- 9:57So I just find this,
- 10:00this is the fascinating storyline,
- 10:02in my opinion, and has not been told.
- 10:05All that we see are race for Copenhagen.
- 10:08Nobody knows what that means
- 10:09without this key component
- 10:11to the storyline.
- 10:13Unless you understand that
- 10:15these are the people trying
- 10:16to win it and these are the
- 10:17people trying to get a pro
- 10:18card or lose a pro card, you don't get,
- 10:22you don't understand the
- 10:24rest of the story.
- 10:25You can say race to
- 10:26Copenhagen all you want,
- 10:29but that doesn't say anything.
- 10:31And when you go out to their Instagram,
- 10:38we have the challenger
- 10:39athletes qualified for Copenhagen.
- 10:41And over here on the left, on the caption,
- 10:44it says,
- 10:45here are the challenger athletes
- 10:46moving on to the finals in
- 10:48Copenhagen to chase the pro
- 10:50card for the next season.
- 10:53Right, to chase a pro card.
- 10:54But we don't know where they stand.
- 10:56Do they have a realistic shot?
- 10:58Are they already in position to get one?
- 11:01We don't know any of those
- 11:02details by just saying, hey,
- 11:05these are the ten guys that got in.
- 11:08Hey,
- 11:09these are the eleven women that got in.
- 11:14When I watch sports all the time,
- 11:18these are the types of
- 11:20things that sports do to
- 11:22get people to talk about
- 11:23them continually throughout the season.
- 11:27And all I was saying
- 11:28yesterday was this is the key component,
- 11:31in my opinion,
- 11:33that is missing from
- 11:35explaining what your sport
- 11:36is and how you're doing the point system.
- 11:44And here, this is the evidence.
- 11:46Yesterday in my comment section,
- 11:48I had a person saying the
- 11:50point system is easy to understand.
- 11:51It's just how like Rogue
- 11:53ranks their athletes to do
- 11:55the invitations for the invitational.
- 11:57No, it's not.
- 11:59That is a qualifier.
- 12:00That is looking at a history
- 12:02of events and doing points.
- 12:05This is you earn the points
- 12:06throughout the season to
- 12:08earn a championship or to
- 12:10earn a pro card.
- 12:11It's different.
- 12:15There is so much confusion,
- 12:17even with your supporters,
- 12:20as they're demonstrating in
- 12:21my comment section,
- 12:23that they don't even know
- 12:24what the objective is of this season.
- 12:34And what is the WFP's
- 12:36response to when I say this?
- 12:39And here's where I'm going to get petty.
- 12:42Here is where I'm going to get petty.
- 12:44going to wait well before I
- 12:45get petty one more example
- 12:47I watch college football
- 12:48this season alabama gets
- 12:50upset nobody expected
- 12:52alabama to get upset what
- 12:54does get up an espn show on
- 12:56monday morning talk about
- 12:57how does this affect the
- 12:58playoff the playoff doesn't
- 13:00even start for four months
- 13:02it starts in december and
- 13:05they're talking about how a
- 13:06loss in august affects december
- 13:10Yet the WFP,
- 13:11when I talk about the storyline,
- 13:13it's too early.
- 13:14We're not there yet.
- 13:15BS.
- 13:18You find every reason to get
- 13:20people to talk about your final.
- 13:22Every reason.
- 13:27But all I get is excuses.
- 13:31I get excuses it's too early.
- 13:33I get excuses that I don't understand.
- 13:36I get people...
- 13:39calling me names because I
- 13:41don't know what I'm talking about.
- 13:46It's such bullshit.
- 13:49So here's where the petty comes in.
- 13:52And I'm like,
- 13:53I've bit my tongue for years.
- 13:55Every time,
- 13:57every time I talk about the WFP
- 14:01in the last few months,
- 14:03Patrick Clark feels the
- 14:04need to correct me.
- 14:07To find something I said,
- 14:08either metaphorically or to
- 14:11try to explain what their thing is,
- 14:14he has to come in and correct me.
- 14:16He has to call me names.
- 14:18He has to do all this stuff
- 14:19and bait me into an argument.
- 14:24I'm done with it.
- 14:25I'm done being baited in.
- 14:26I'm not arguing anymore.
- 14:30Yesterday I said that I
- 14:32described what the pro card
- 14:36was as the free money, as a metaphor.
- 14:40I didn't say that the
- 14:42athletes didn't work for it
- 14:43or didn't deserve it.
- 14:47In fact,
- 14:47I said the exact opposite when
- 14:48this whole thing started up.
- 14:50I said that the athletes
- 14:53deserve more opportunity
- 14:55and athletes deserve to be paid.
- 15:00And yes, I describe the pot as free money,
- 15:03as a metaphor.
- 15:06But Patrick has to jump into
- 15:07my comments and say that free money,
- 15:10that I'm disrespecting all the athletes.
- 15:14You missed the complete
- 15:15point of my monologue yesterday,
- 15:18was that the storylines
- 15:20aren't being told correctly.
- 15:29I'm not even, see, he's baiting me again.
- 15:33I never said they didn't deserve it.
- 15:35I never said they didn't do anything.
- 15:36I said they chose the first
- 15:37twenty is what I said.
- 15:40They chose the first twenty.
- 15:42And there are people that
- 15:42believe that they said that
- 15:48they picked the wrong twenty.
- 15:49There are people that
- 15:50believe they picked the wrong twenty.
- 15:53That is not saying they
- 15:54don't deserve it or they didn't earn it.
- 15:59Here's the thing.
- 16:01Here's the thing.
- 16:03The WFP would rather come
- 16:04into people's comments or
- 16:06come onto their Instagram
- 16:08and argue with them over
- 16:10stupid points about word
- 16:11usage than to look at
- 16:13themselves in the mirror
- 16:15and correct what they've done wrong.
- 16:20Since this has been going on,
- 16:22I've said two negative things publicly,
- 16:24that they promised us better...
- 16:27They promised us more
- 16:28creative content about athletes.
- 16:31And they don't tell the right storyline.
- 16:34Those are the two things.
- 16:36Yet they come to me.
- 16:38They come and argue with me,
- 16:39who has no impact whether
- 16:41they succeed or not.
- 16:45Come to me and want to argue
- 16:46with me in the comments.
- 16:51They call me crazy.
- 16:52I'm a millennial because I'm not patient.
- 16:55I need to wait for their creativity.
- 16:57I need to wait for their storylines.
- 16:59Just be patient.
- 17:01And when I say, why would I be patient?
- 17:04The Titanic's already sinking.
- 17:07Why should I be patient?
- 17:09Building a rescue raft while
- 17:11you're underwater does no good.
- 17:19It is ridiculous.
- 17:23to call me names like a millennial,
- 17:25to say that I'm acting like a victim.
- 17:28I'm not acting like a victim.
- 17:33If anybody's acting like a victim,
- 17:34it's the WFP.
- 17:36You and your hubris think
- 17:38that you're doing everything great.
- 17:40Take a look back at last weekend.
- 17:42We made a conscious effort
- 17:44Sunday night not to be so
- 17:45negative because it was
- 17:47just getting slammed all weekend.
- 17:49We were looking for positives.
- 17:51Or if there was criticism,
- 17:54what constructively could
- 17:55be done different?
- 17:57And no, you can't look in the mirror.
- 17:59You can't take any of that
- 18:01as constructive.
- 18:02You have to just start
- 18:03bitching at people and
- 18:04going into their comments
- 18:05and calling them names.
- 18:08It's utterly ridiculous.
- 18:11Wasting all of that time
- 18:13when you could be back doing better,
- 18:16coming into everybody's comments,
- 18:18acting like you know
- 18:19everything in the world.
- 18:24You don't know everything.
- 18:26You're not the smartest
- 18:27people in the world.
- 18:29Other people can have
- 18:30opinions that matter.
- 18:34And you diving into every
- 18:36freaking comment to do that.
- 18:40Patrick,
- 18:41I'm not lying about the name calling.
- 18:42You can go back to my Instagram.
- 18:44I haven't deleted a damn thing.
- 18:46All of your rants are on there.
- 18:47You called me a millennial.
- 18:49Yesterday in the YouTube comments,
- 18:51you called me that I was
- 18:52acting like the victim.
- 18:54You said,
- 18:55I don't know what I'm talking about,
- 18:57that I'm absolutely wrong.
- 19:00Go look.
- 19:00It's all there.
- 19:01I'm not going to pull it up
- 19:03because I'm not going to be that petty.
- 19:05But it's all there.
- 19:05I've left it all there.
- 19:07Unless you go delete it,
- 19:08it's all sitting out there
- 19:09for the public to read.
- 19:13Calling a fifty five year
- 19:14old man a millennial is name calling.
- 19:17You jackass.
- 19:18There, I'll call you a name.
- 19:25It's ridiculous.
- 19:29Here you are a ship sinking
- 19:33in the ocean and you got to
- 19:35come to a guy with twenty
- 19:37nine hundred subscribers
- 19:39and come at him because
- 19:41that's going to make a
- 19:42difference in your success.
- 19:50Ridiculous.
- 19:54Good God.
- 20:01All right.
- 20:01I guess that riff is over.
- 20:06I was going to talk today
- 20:07about what I thought the
- 20:09WFP could do to maybe save itself,
- 20:12but who the hell knows?
- 20:13I didn't care anymore.
- 20:15Their priorities are so out of whack,
- 20:20I don't even think they know.
- 20:31Yeah, my heart rate's up too, Corey.
- 20:38I'm just,
- 20:42their time management and trying
- 20:44to tell other people what
- 20:45they do is wrong when
- 20:48they're sitting on a
- 20:49sinking ship is just utterly ridiculous.
- 21:03Utterly ridiculous.
- 21:11In Hiller's video,
- 21:12I saw his Instagram post
- 21:15about the fact that the
- 21:20athletes are actually not
- 21:21gaining any popularity or
- 21:23any social media traction
- 21:25during the WFP tour stops
- 21:28as compared to the CrossFit Games.
- 21:30I thought that was a pretty
- 21:32eloquent way of putting things.
- 21:34Here's my thing.
- 21:36someone needs to take a hard
- 21:37look at the WFP if you ever
- 21:39want to succeed and look at
- 21:40what you can do better.
- 21:42And I think if, if the rumors are true,
- 21:44if the rumors are true and
- 21:46you're trying to go exclusive,
- 21:48I think that's the biggest
- 21:49mistake you're going to
- 21:49make because then you're
- 21:51just going to alienate yourself more.
- 21:53You're going to create a
- 21:54bigger divide and creating
- 21:56a bigger divide is going to
- 21:57just sink the ship completely.
- 22:04The only way is to make a better product,
- 22:07entice the athletes to come
- 22:08over for the right reasons.
- 22:12And that's the only way
- 22:13you're going to have a shot
- 22:14in this whole thing.
- 22:25Guaranteed money is the only
- 22:26way most of these athletes
- 22:28will sign up again,
- 22:29except for the one still holding on.
- 22:32and holding out.
- 22:33Sure.
- 22:34I agree with you.
- 22:40You just said it.
- 22:41They don't know.
- 22:41I guarantee the whole thing
- 22:42changes next year.
- 22:44With regards to the contracts,
- 22:46this is why they are
- 22:46confusing and hiding.
- 22:48Well, here's what's going to happen.
- 22:49If they do go exclusive,
- 22:51there are going to be
- 22:52people that say yes and
- 22:53people that say no.
- 22:54And when that happens,
- 22:55they're going to have to
- 22:56renegotiate who the twenty
- 22:57are that have the contracts.
- 22:59Then it's just going to
- 23:00create more confusion and
- 23:01it's going to sink the league completely.
- 23:05That's what's going to happen.
- 23:19I've heard it a couple times
- 23:20from different people.
- 23:22I heard it at the age group games.
- 23:24I've heard it a couple times.
- 23:26I've heard some of the
- 23:27athletes at the age group
- 23:29heard that they were going
- 23:30to try to add the age
- 23:33groups into the mix next year.
- 23:35Those are rumors we heard at
- 23:36the age group games.
- 23:38I have said wholeheartedly
- 23:40that those were just rumors,
- 23:42and I spoke to them as such.
- 23:56what do you think the odds
- 23:57are that the qualifications
- 23:58change from pro card
- 23:59between the end of this
- 24:01season and the start of next?
- 24:03If it does, I think that's,
- 24:04that's a nail in the coffin.
- 24:23Yeah.
- 24:31See, I would say, Denise,
- 24:32that we've had equipment
- 24:34issues in CrossFit and the WFP.
- 24:37But see,
- 24:37then I feel like I'm defending
- 24:39these people who have just come after me.
- 24:42At every event that I've been to,
- 24:44the last people that touch
- 24:45the adjustments on a
- 24:46machine are the athletes.
- 24:50If Austin put that foot
- 24:52pedal in the wrong place, that's on him.
- 24:56I don't have video to back that up.
- 24:58I don't know what was discovered in that,
- 25:01but my immediate thought
- 25:06was when I saw that it was
- 25:07just sitting on top of the
- 25:09lock is that someone
- 25:12adjusted it for their
- 25:13height and did not lock it in.
- 25:32That's the only reason I can
- 25:33imagine they aren't pushing
- 25:34the qualifying for the
- 25:35twenty twenty six pro card.
- 25:37They know something is going to change.
- 25:41Good luck to that.
- 25:48There you go back, back, kill Taylor.
- 25:51There you go.
- 25:52His equipment doesn't break
- 25:53every Saturday.
- 25:54And when you do it in your own gym,
- 25:55you're responsible for your own stuff.
- 25:59There you go.
- 25:59Don't have to worry about
- 26:00the equipment issues there.
- 26:15That's what I thought, Megan.
- 26:16I've been fair in my comments to the WFP,
- 26:19but they don't think so apparently.
- 26:30Trish, it's trash.
- 26:31I try to stay fair, but it's trash.
- 26:51uh trying to keep up with
- 26:52these comments not
- 27:02broadcasting on youtube um
- 27:05will be regarded as one of
- 27:07many bad decisions in
- 27:08post-mortem clock so here's
- 27:10what you know before
- 27:12yesterday um this was my thought on that
- 27:22I think that they're trying
- 27:24to get onto a TV streaming
- 27:28service like Red Bull TV.
- 27:30And they can't show their
- 27:33effectiveness with YouTube numbers.
- 27:35They have to show it as an independent.
- 27:38And if they could get a
- 27:39partnership like that,
- 27:40that would be a big feather in their cap.
- 27:43I would have defended that
- 27:45in some sort of way.
- 27:48I think that's what they're trying to do.
- 27:52And when people copy it and
- 27:54move it over to YouTube and
- 27:56they lose their numbers to YouTube,
- 27:58they can't justify what
- 27:59numbers they have to a streaming service.
- 28:23Scott, I remember a few months back,
- 28:24you're being so positive and pro WFP.
- 28:26I had to turn off podcast.
- 28:28You have been more than fair.
- 28:31I wanted to give them a shot.
- 28:32I thought that I wanted to
- 28:34see what a true season
- 28:36structure would look like
- 28:38in a CrossFit setting.
- 28:40Could it work?
- 28:41Because CrossFit has not
- 28:43done a good job of coming
- 28:44up with a season that makes
- 28:46sense and is consistent, I believe.
- 29:03I really, I mean, that may be it, Ryan,
- 29:06that they're trying to
- 29:07manipulate the YouTube
- 29:08numbers or the numbers.
- 29:10I truly think they're trying
- 29:11to prove to people that
- 29:12they are a viable option
- 29:14for a streaming service.
- 29:16I really think that's what's
- 29:18all behind this.
- 29:19And they probably can't say
- 29:21that because they're in
- 29:22negotiations with said
- 29:23streaming service and can't
- 29:26let that cat out of the bag.
- 29:51scott isn't even couching it
- 29:52as wfp versus crossfit I I
- 29:56just wanted to see if a
- 29:57season structure would work
- 30:00that was consistent but the
- 30:02execution has just been poor um
- 30:22Thanks Kenneth.
- 30:23No one wanted to give WFP a
- 30:24chance more than Scott in the beginning.
- 30:27I just wanted to see,
- 30:28I wanted to see if it could work.
- 30:29That's all.
- 30:41Do you think they can still save it,
- 30:42Scott?
- 30:43What could they do to change
- 30:44your current viewpoint?
- 30:50I don't know.
- 30:51I don't know if they can save it or not.
- 30:55I think if they get onto a
- 30:56streaming service that helps them,
- 30:58that's a partnership that
- 30:59CrossFit has never gotten into,
- 31:02except for they dove down
- 31:03it with DAZN a little bit
- 31:04here at the CrossFit Games.
- 31:06We don't know what that's
- 31:07going to look like in the future.
- 31:09Red Bull TV is way bigger than DAZN.
- 31:12It is a niche sport
- 31:14streaming service that
- 31:16allows you to broadcast what you do.
- 31:20That is their big hope, I'm sure,
- 31:22is getting that.
- 31:25I think they have to give up
- 31:26the affiliate aspect of it for now.
- 31:29I think they have to,
- 31:31I think they cannot go exclusivity.
- 31:34They just have to try to
- 31:35draw the people over.
- 31:37But I don't know.
- 31:39I think,
- 31:41I think the Titanic is halfway
- 31:43underwater and it would
- 31:45take a lot of bailing to get out of this.
- 31:54I think Siobhan's right.
- 31:56There's a catfish component
- 31:57that isn't sitting well with people.
- 31:59Exactly.
- 32:01You're told one thing and
- 32:02then another thing happens.
- 32:05And maybe it's because
- 32:06you're under... I don't know.
- 32:07Maybe some of it is because
- 32:09you're negotiating deals
- 32:10behind the scenes.
- 32:12You can't talk about it.
- 32:13But...
- 32:15the fact that no we're not
- 32:16competing with crossfit and
- 32:18then starting an affiliate
- 32:19thing is definitely a
- 32:21catfish one and there are
- 32:23so many more to go beyond
- 32:25that um when I first was
- 32:28supportive of the wp I just
- 32:29wanted to see a season
- 32:31structure and there wasn't
- 32:32supposed to be competition
- 32:34that all that has changed since then
- 32:56Kenneth DeLapp,
- 32:56we want to hang out in the
- 32:57chat while we watch.
- 32:58Community.
- 33:00Yeah, I get you lose that.
- 33:02I'm just saying what they're thinking.
- 33:04I'm not trying to say it's right,
- 33:05wrong or indifferent.
- 33:08It's just a different way of
- 33:09looking at things with a
- 33:11partnership with a bigger
- 33:12entity that can help
- 33:15promote and grow a sport.
- 33:18I don't think that I don't.
- 33:22It's just one way of going.
- 33:24I don't.
- 33:25And sometimes there's change,
- 33:28but you can't lie to the
- 33:30community about what you're
- 33:31doing and then expect them
- 33:34to follow along.
- 33:39I think it's bigger than not having a chat,
- 33:40Kenneth.
- 33:41I think it's what Savan said.
- 33:44You promised one thing,
- 33:46you went in another direction,
- 33:48and it seemed to be under
- 33:53the darkness of night that
- 33:54you went in the other directions.
- 33:57And so you've lost so many
- 33:59components of...
- 34:01um so many components of
- 34:04trust that then when you
- 34:06take away their way to chat
- 34:09with everybody now you've
- 34:11lost them again powerslap
- 34:25craig jones invitational youtube
- 34:41I don't disagree, though.
- 34:42They might get a European boost.
- 34:44I don't know if that's enough.
- 34:45At this point,
- 34:47I think they've lost so much trust.
- 34:49They'd almost have to bring
- 34:51in somebody else to run it
- 34:54and be the face of it to
- 34:56clear up all of that stuff.
- 35:09Clock, it can be both.
- 35:10Like as I showed with the graphic,
- 35:12that one graphic,
- 35:13you can tell both stories.
- 35:16I just don't know if there's time.
- 35:19So I'll pull that up one more time.
- 35:22With this graphic,
- 35:23I can show you that Kringle, Campbell,
- 35:26Horvath are top three for
- 35:28the season and they're
- 35:29fighting for the championship.
- 35:32And then I can go down to
- 35:33the red line and I can tell
- 35:35the story that Emily Rolfe
- 35:36is under the red line and
- 35:38will lose her pro card.
- 35:41And she's got to fight to get it back.
- 35:43Paige Semenza is way below the red line.
- 35:46She really needs to fight to get it back.
- 35:48There are storylines there,
- 35:50but none of this has been
- 35:51told before today.
- 36:06Huge events and organizations use YouTube.
- 36:09Yep.
- 36:10I think there are two ways to go about it.
- 36:14But I think that that's what
- 36:15they are banking on.
- 36:16I'm not saying that that's
- 36:17the way I would go.
- 36:18I think that is what they are banking on.
- 36:35Yeah.
- 36:40road to copenhagen is paved
- 36:41with good intentions yes
- 36:45the race to copenhagen
- 36:46though the race to
- 36:47copenhagen so anyway it's
- 37:06been a fun chat today
- 37:10fun chat I'm not getting
- 37:14baited in anymore though
- 37:15I'm telling you that um I'm
- 37:20done being baited in
- 37:23Heard it here first.
- 37:25All right.
- 37:25With that,
- 37:28I'm working on some age group
- 37:29stuff to get out.
- 37:32Got some stuff to put together.
- 37:35I'm on the road to recovery this week.
- 37:36So I'm going to try to do a
- 37:37lot of that this afternoon
- 37:39and into tomorrow.
- 37:41So hopefully get some stuff
- 37:42out and we'll be back again
- 37:44tomorrow at lunchtime.
- 37:46But right now I got another
- 37:48freaking meeting.
- 37:49So I got to get back to work
- 37:51and you knuckleheads need
- 37:52to get back to work too.
- 37:54Oh, look at that.
- 37:56Crash is five, but she's what?
- 38:01What?
- 38:01Oh my gosh.
- 38:05I quit Copenhagen.
- 38:06I can't watch or else I'll be triggered.
- 38:08Yeah.
- 38:10I used to be a school guy, man.
- 38:11So I'm good.
- 38:13As long as they don't go to Norway.
- 38:14All right.
- 38:15With that, we'll see you all tomorrow.
- 38:18Twelve fifteen.
- 38:21Bye, guys.
