- 1:52Sean McAllister: Sean McAllister and Dana Roselli here with you.
- 1:55Sean McAllister: And we're inching closer to the 4th of July.
- 1:58Sean McAllister: Can you believe that?
- 1:59Dayna Roselli: No, I know.
- 2:00Dayna Roselli: June is just whew flown by, right?
- 2:02Sean McAllister: Man, blink of an eye and it's gone.
- 2:04Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 2:05Dayna Roselli: I'm getting ready to take a little time off to go up to uh upstate New York to see my family.
- 2:10Dayna Roselli: I'm looking forward to that.
- 2:11Dayna Roselli: A little cooler temperatures.
- 2:13Dayna Roselli: You know, it's hot there right now this week, but um I'm looking at the forecast.
- 2:18Dayna Roselli: Looks like 70s, 80s, high of 60s one day.
- 2:21Sean McAllister: We're not even getting into the 70s or 60s overnight.
- 2:24Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 2:25Dayna Roselli: We do have a couple cool days though.
- 2:27Dayna Roselli: How about that?
- 2:28Sean McAllister: I know that was exciting.
- 2:29Sean McAllister: We'll savor them when they come.
- 2:32Dayna Roselli: Um, hey, we didn't get any text messages this week.
- 2:35Dayna Roselli: So remember, you can text message us in the show notes.
- 2:39Dayna Roselli: There's a link, and let us know your thoughts.
- 2:41Dayna Roselli: Let us know if there's any ideas you have, things you want us to cover, comments on the podcast.
- 2:46Dayna Roselli: We love to hear from you.
- 2:47Dayna Roselli: Also, a big shout out to our subscribers that donate every single month.
- 2:51Dayna Roselli: I can't even tell you how much uh we appreciate you uh being a part of the podcast.
- 2:56Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 2:57Sean McAllister: Uh, let's get right into things.
- 2:59Sean McAllister: We're gonna get into all the places where you can see uh Fourth of July fireworks coming up in a little bit.
- 3:05Sean McAllister: But one of the biggest shows that we're looking forward to on Independence Day is Courtesy of the Sphere.
- 3:13Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 3:13Dayna Roselli: This is gonna be streamed live.
- 3:15Dayna Roselli: So get ready.
- 3:16Dayna Roselli: If you're listening, you are in on it too, which is awesome.
- 3:19Dayna Roselli: It's thesphere.com, and they're doing a sphere 4th of July celebration.
- 3:25Dayna Roselli: It's presented by Verizon, and it's gonna be a six-act Exosphere show that is gonna be synced to music, and they're running two showings, one at 9 30 p.m.
- 3:36Dayna Roselli: Pacific time and 11 40 p.m.
- 3:39Dayna Roselli: Pacific Standard Time.
- 3:40Dayna Roselli: Um, and you'll be able to watch it on the live stream.
- 3:43Dayna Roselli: So this will be really cool.
- 3:45Sean McAllister: Yeah, and I mean it's also very fitting that Sphere is doing this big production on 4th of July because it was one year ago on July 4th when the Exosphere made its grand debut with fireworks going off in the sky behind it.
- 4:02Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 4:02Sean McAllister: Uh, and that's really when it became an iconic part of the Las Vegas skyline that everybody is waiting to see what goes up there next.
- 4:11Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 4:12Dayna Roselli: And you know, to top it off, it's like one year, and then they're doing something else, adding something else.
- 4:17Dayna Roselli: This XO audio.
- 4:19Dayna Roselli: It's a custom audio synced to content on the exosphere, and it's gonna be audible both on site.
- 4:26Dayna Roselli: So if you're there in the lot or nearby at the sphere, you're gonna hear it right on property, and then uh also online via the live stream.
- 4:34Dayna Roselli: So this is a whole new thing.
- 4:36Dayna Roselli: We had heard a buzz about this possibly happening, and looks like it is.
- 4:40Sean McAllister: Yeah, and by the way, that live stream, they're going to be uh broadcasting all of the Fourth of July festivities, but then it's gonna be an ongoing thing too.
- 4:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 4:50Dayna Roselli: So that I love this.
- 4:51Dayna Roselli: This is great for everyone because we were just saying that we were so many people live stream the sphere on YouTube and stuff, but it's hard to find like just one standard one that's constantly going.
- 5:02Dayna Roselli: And so now they were probably like, hey, maybe we should do this.
- 5:05Sean McAllister: Yeah, I I'm glad that they did because it it'll it will be nice to have the official sphere live cam.
- 5:13Dayna Roselli: I know it really will.
- 5:14Dayna Roselli: And hey, FYI, next week we have a special show all about the sphere because it's the one year since the exosphere turned on.
- 5:23Dayna Roselli: We're actually doing a special episode on television, and then we'll make an audio version of that for you.
- 5:29Dayna Roselli: Um, on the well, it'll probably the podcast will probably drop on 4th of July.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: Maybe I'll send it on July 3rd, possibly.
- 5:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 5:36Dayna Roselli: But yeah, so um, you'll want to tune in for that because we'll have um all sorts of coverage for the year anniversary of the exosphere.
- 5:43Sean McAllister: And again, uh firework information still to come uh later on in the episode.
- 5:50Sean McAllister: Um, but first we went over to the debut of Terry Fader's new show over at the Strat.
- 5:59Sean McAllister: And I mean that was quite a party.
- 6:01Sean McAllister: There was a party before the show.
- 6:03Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 6:04Dayna Roselli: And I love the strat always does the parties at the top of the strat.
- 6:07Dayna Roselli: So, and it's something that like I feel like as a local, we just don't go do uh regularly.
- 6:12Dayna Roselli: You know, we go up there for a reason and we always say we need to do it more, we need to do it more, but you don't get up there a lot.
- 6:18Dayna Roselli: So for us, it's a chance for us to get up there and appreciate that view.
- 6:23Sean McAllister: Well, and it was funny when we were on our way up to the 108th floor, the observation lounge.
- 6:31Sean McAllister: Um, there was a couple in the elevator with us who were going to the top of the world restaurant.
- 6:36Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 6:37Sean McAllister: And we were all locals and we were like, Oh, what are you guys doing?
- 6:40Sean McAllister: They're like, Oh, we're going to dinner.
- 6:42Sean McAllister: And they had never been to the top of the world restaurant before.
- 6:44Dayna Roselli: No, and they were dressed to the nines.
- 6:46Sean McAllister: Dressed to the nines.
- 6:48Sean McAllister: It was an occasion.
- 6:49Sean McAllister: So, I mean, that's a place that should be also top of mind when you're looking for a good, unique restaurant with a view in Las Vegas.
- 7:00Dayna Roselli: Because you get all the views, you do, and it slowly turns too.
- 7:03Sean McAllister: It does, so you get 360 view of the entire Las Vegas Valley.
- 7:07Dayna Roselli: But anyway, yeah, Terry Fader, uh, in case you don't know, comedian, ventriloquist, uh singer.
- 7:13Dayna Roselli: We interviewed him just a couple podcasts back and told you he has a new show at the Strat.
- 7:17Dayna Roselli: It's at 5 p.m.
- 7:19Dayna Roselli: Strat has a great theater, and Terry said, I'm gonna utilize this theater, and boy, did he.
- 7:24Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 7:25Dayna Roselli: It was great, right?
- 7:26Sean McAllister: The technology that's included in the show is tremendous.
- 7:30Sean McAllister: I don't want to give away uh everything that happens, but I mean, there even before the show starts, there's a show happening on the walls around the theater, and then there's cool stuff that happens during the show.
- 7:43Sean McAllister: And Terry has totally redone his entire performance, added new songs, new characters.
- 7:51Sean McAllister: It's it was great.
- 7:52Dayna Roselli: It was.
- 7:53Dayna Roselli: You know, he won America's Got Talent, uh season two, and then his residency kicked off at the Mirage.
- 7:59Dayna Roselli: Then he was at New York, New York for a couple years.
- 8:01Dayna Roselli: Now he's at the Strat.
- 8:02Dayna Roselli: And you and I both said, I think this is his best show yet.
- 8:05Sean McAllister: It feels like it.
- 8:06Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:06Dayna Roselli: It just, I mean, it's just I mean, or it's just newer and different for us too.
- 8:10Dayna Roselli: We were sitting next to some people who had never seen him before, and they were blown away.
- 8:13Dayna Roselli: They're like, wait, he sings those songs with his like lips closed and makes the puppet and he sounds like I'm like, yes, that's all him.
- 8:20Dayna Roselli: So go see Terry Fader.
- 8:22Dayna Roselli: Um, you know, you heard our interview with him, you know he's excited about it.
- 8:25Dayna Roselli: Um, support him.
- 8:27Dayna Roselli: We we hope that you know he fills that theater and is able to do his five o'clock showtime because he's really looking forward to going to see other shows and being home in a reasonable time for once in his life.
- 8:38Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 8:39Sean McAllister: And it's not just a show for kids.
- 8:41Sean McAllister: Like you can bring the kids to it, but I think the doll the adults will appreciate the humor that's peppered throughout the show.
- 8:50Dayna Roselli: We were giggling for the whole thing.
- 8:52Dayna Roselli: It was funny.
- 8:53Sean McAllister: It was it was funny.
- 8:55Dayna Roselli: Before that, though, when you mentioned the party, uh, the mayor did give a Terry and Winston, the impersonating turtle, was there for the uh key to the city and a proclamation.
- 9:06Dayna Roselli: So that was wonderful.
- 9:06Dayna Roselli: And Terry Fader Day.
- 9:08Dayna Roselli: Um, every you know, it was just like an old school party where there were like some drinks and little things to eat, and then we we had the celebration and everyone was mingling and loved it.
- 9:18Dayna Roselli: We ran into uh so many people up there.
- 9:20Dayna Roselli: We ran into Frank Marino, who we're gonna have on the on the show sometime soon.
- 9:25Dayna Roselli: We ran into Chris Angel, yeah.
- 9:27Dayna Roselli: Great to see him out and about with the kids, and uh, and that was wonderful.
- 9:31Dayna Roselli: And you know, tons of of different people, fellow performers, I should say.
- 9:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, it it was uh it was a different group than who we normally see out at events, which was it was nice to to mingle and hear, catch up with people and um schedule podcast interviews too.
- 9:51Dayna Roselli: I know we were like, oh, we need to have you on the show, we need to have you on the show, and the drinks were strong too.
- 9:55Dayna Roselli: I had like two sips, and I was like, all right, bring me a Diet Coke.
- 9:58Dayna Roselli: I'm done.
- 10:00Dayna Roselli: I told Terry too when we went up.
- 10:02Dayna Roselli: I said, These drinks are strong.
- 10:03Dayna Roselli: And he's like, Oh, well, good thing I decided not to drink before the show.
- 10:07Dayna Roselli: But he said he never drinks before a show anyway.
- 10:09Dayna Roselli: So, but he was laughing.
- 10:11Dayna Roselli: So, anyway, great show.
- 10:12Dayna Roselli: Again, go see him at the strat.
- 10:15Sean McAllister: Well, something new that is coming to Las Vegas.
- 10:18Sean McAllister: Fans of the TV show Friends are going to absolutely love this.
- 10:22Sean McAllister: I count myself among that group of people.
- 10:26Sean McAllister: Uh, the Friends Experience will debut its West Coast flagship location coming soon to the MGM Grand.
- 10:36Sean McAllister: And this is taking over the space that um uh once occupied the CSI experience, and then later it turned into a Hunger Games experience.
- 10:46Sean McAllister: It's a big space that is now being taken over by all things friends.
- 10:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this is gonna be great.
- 10:53Dayna Roselli: I went to the one in Los Angeles.
- 10:55Dayna Roselli: Have you been to that one?
- 10:56Sean McAllister: At the Warner Brothers Studio Tour.
- 10:59Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 10:59Dayna Roselli: And so I don't know if it's the same thing, I think it's similar, and I loved it.
- 11:03Dayna Roselli: You know, you get to take your picture on the famous couch and all that.
- 11:05Dayna Roselli: And I mean, if this is gonna be the flagship location, that means this is gonna have, I think, more than you know, we've even seen in that one.
- 11:13Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 11:14Sean McAllister: So there's going to be um life-sized recreations of the sets.
- 11:20Sean McAllister: So we're expecting, of course, Central Park, where they always hang out, Monica's apartment, uh, possibly Joey and Chandler's apartment.
- 11:30Sean McAllister: Uh there's going to be some scenes that are set up because there were some iconic moments of the show took place in Las Vegas.
- 11:38Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 11:38Dayna Roselli: You'll be able to be part of Ross and Rachel's iconic Las Vegas wedding scene.
- 11:43Dayna Roselli: Bursting out into the chapel's lobby.
- 11:46Dayna Roselli: You'll be able to kick back in Monica's apartment, like you said, and then they'll have the iconic fountain, which will be great, the one that's in the opening credits.
- 11:53Sean McAllister: And then remember when everybody came to visit Joey when he was shooting a movie out in the Las Vegas desert, and it got shut down.
- 12:00Sean McAllister: So he had to go and work at Caesar's Palace as Caesar.
- 12:04Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 12:04Dayna Roselli: That I forgot about that one.
- 12:06Dayna Roselli: So funny.
- 12:07Dayna Roselli: So this is gonna be great.
- 12:08Dayna Roselli: We don't know the exact opening date just yet, but we know it's coming soon.
- 12:13Sean McAllister: Well, something that has already opened is over at the Rio.
- 12:17Sean McAllister: We have done episodes in the past talking about all the renovations.
- 12:21Sean McAllister: We spoke with the the owner of Dreamscape, the company that now owns the Rio, to hear all about their vision for the property and the renovation of it.
- 12:31Sean McAllister: Um, one of the things that he talked to us about is the Luckily Tavern and Grill, which is now open just off the casino floor over there at Rio.
- 12:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I love to hear about the updates because, you know, that was one of our most popular podcasts recently.
- 12:47Dayna Roselli: People loved hearing about what's going on at the Rio and what's coming soon.
- 12:52Dayna Roselli: And this was one of the things.
- 12:53Dayna Roselli: So we wanted to update.
- 12:55Dayna Roselli: It looks really nice.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: We haven't gone over there to see it in person, but from what I saw in the photos, it looks like it's going to be a great spot.
- 13:01Sean McAllister: And then soon to come after that, they're redoing the big center bar over there at uh the Rio as well.
- 13:08Sean McAllister: So we're expecting that to be opening um probably late summer.
- 13:14Sean McAllister: That should be open.
- 13:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and that looks really nice as well.
- 13:16Sean McAllister: That looks so nice.
- 13:18Dayna Roselli: So a little update over at the Rio.
- 13:20Dayna Roselli: Hey, David Getta um has a residency coming in 2025 where he's gonna do this multi-residency with both Fountain Blues.
- 13:30Sean McAllister: So Fountain Blue, Miami, and Las Vegas.
- 13:33Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 13:33Dayna Roselli: So I thought this was kind of cool.
- 13:34Dayna Roselli: We're hearing a lot about these multi-residents.
- 13:36Dayna Roselli: I mean, this is the same, you know, brand, but I thought this was interesting.
- 13:40Dayna Roselli: And so um, you know, he's very, very popular, you know, award-winning DJ and producer.
- 13:46Dayna Roselli: Um, and this is an exclusive two-year residency here in the U.S.
- 13:50Dayna Roselli: beginning in 2025.
- 13:52Dayna Roselli: But he's gonna perform at Fountain Blue's Live Nightclub and then also Live Beach, so that's great.
- 13:58Dayna Roselli: And that'll be in addition to performances he's gonna do in Miami too.
- 14:02Sean McAllister: And David Getta, he's iconic, so it's great to have him um performing over there at Fountain Blue, too.
- 14:09Sean McAllister: Very cool.
- 14:10Sean McAllister: Hey, uh, Formula One update for you.
- 14:13Sean McAllister: Uh, they've just released uh new GA tickets, general admission tickets.
- 14:18Sean McAllister: Uh, it's a three-day pass starting at uh$1,350.
- 14:25Sean McAllister: Um, this experience is standing room only with access to unassigned bleacher seating.
- 14:32Sean McAllister: Um, as I said, it's the three-day pass, first come, first serve.
- 14:37Sean McAllister: You'll have great views as the drivers turn around.
- 14:41Sean McAllister: This is kind of uh right along the Koval straightaway.
- 14:45Sean McAllister: And I believe I saw something that that said that these same tickets last year were like 8,000 bucks.
- 14:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I think I saw that too.
- 14:53Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah, and they're 1350 now plus taxes.
- 14:56Dayna Roselli: That's a deal, right?
- 14:57Dayna Roselli: Um, that's a great spot.
- 14:59Dayna Roselli: Also, you know, they did drop some uh merch too.
- 15:02Dayna Roselli: If you're into Formula One merch, the Formula One Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix 2024 Core Collection is out.
- 15:13Dayna Roselli: Woo! It's a mouthful.
- 15:15Dayna Roselli: And it's officially live, so you can suit up in Vegas inspired merchandise at the race in November.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: Get it now.
- 15:22Dayna Roselli: Um gosh, that's coming.
- 15:24Sean McAllister: That's gonna be coming up here soon, too.
- 15:25Dayna Roselli: Oh gosh, soon?
- 15:27Dayna Roselli: November?
- 15:27Dayna Roselli: No.
- 15:28Dayna Roselli: I just I love summer.
- 15:29Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 15:30Dayna Roselli: I don't like the holidays.
- 15:31Dayna Roselli: I just they're too long.
- 15:33Dayna Roselli: I don't even want to think about it.
- 15:35Dayna Roselli: Just summer swimming, sitting on the patio at night, and it's warm.
- 15:40Dayna Roselli: Let's just keep in that mindset.
- 15:42Sean McAllister: All right.
- 15:42Sean McAllister: Summer vibes.
- 15:44Dayna Roselli: Santa Claus and turkeys and miserable people at the mall.
- 15:47Dayna Roselli: I mean, why do we even have it?
- 15:48Dayna Roselli: It's just, it's awful.
- 15:50Sean McAllister: So you're saying let's just do summer all year round.
- 15:54Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 15:54Sean McAllister: I'm down with that.
- 15:56Sean McAllister: Down with that.
- 15:57Dayna Roselli: Uh, something you did get a chance to do.
- 15:58Dayna Roselli: You went over to Town Square, which is one of our shopping centers.
- 16:01Dayna Roselli: It has a movie theater, and they were doing an early viewing of Celine Dion's documentary that's coming out on Amazon Prime, and you guys got tickets, went over, and were able to see it before it even comes out.
- 16:13Dayna Roselli: So tell us about it.
- 16:14Sean McAllister: Yeah, MGM Studios, that's uh MGM and uh Prime Video, Amazon, put on these screenings in cities around the country and around the world.
- 16:27Sean McAllister: Um, Celine was at uh a screening in New York City, but she began and ended the film live.
- 16:37Sean McAllister: So there was a live, you know, introduction with Celine Dion, then the film played in our theater, and then they cut back to uh the live stream from New York where Celine got back up on stage.
- 16:49Sean McAllister: Um this uh documentary, I am Celine Dion, is it left me speechless in part.
- 16:59Sean McAllister: It is just so raw.
- 17:00Sean McAllister: A look at her, not only her uh incredibly iconic career from age 15 on in the highest of highs that she has achieved, but it also very unfiltered look at the lows that she has experienced as well, especially dealing with stiff person syndrome, her diagnosis, and you know what has happened since then.
- 17:27Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 17:28Dayna Roselli: Well, and I and I know people sometimes go, well, why was a camera there for this?
- 17:32Dayna Roselli: But I mean, I think you know, she's a huge star, and I'm assuming when she does these tours and concerts and shows, it's always being filmed because you never know when you might want to put together a documentary or you know, have a part of your life re you know, collected.
- 17:45Dayna Roselli: So um it's captured.
- 17:48Dayna Roselli: This is not, you know, set up.
- 17:50Dayna Roselli: This is an episode that happens, you know, at that moment.
- 17:55Sean McAllister: And and you uh it's excruciating, to be quite honest.
- 17:59Sean McAllister: It's excruciating to watch Celine go through one of these uh episodes of a stiff person syndrome uh flare up, I guess is is what it c uh what you would call it.
- 18:14Sean McAllister: Yeah, but it is excruciating watching that.
- 18:17Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 18:17Sean McAllister: And but to see the fight, the willpower, the determination that Celine has to get back on stage.
- 18:25Sean McAllister: And I mean, really, what I got from this film is that uh performing for her fans is like uh the driving force behind her recovery.
- 18:37Sean McAllister: Yeah, of course, she wants to be there and healthy for her family and her children too, but uh I mean she seemingly is doing a lot of this for her fans who have been just uh uh begging for her to get back on stage.
- 18:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, she seems to s talk about that in every interview that she's done promoting the documentary that the fans are everything.
- 19:00Dayna Roselli: And she was asked by several reporters at the red carpet, or I guess is the at the entrance there into the documentary in New York City.
- 19:08Dayna Roselli: I also saw in a write-up um in uh BBC, I guess.
- 19:12Dayna Roselli: I think it was BBC, yeah, saying, you know, she she wants to do this Las Vegas residency.
- 19:16Dayna Roselli: And, you know, it could be a few shows, it could be a year, we'll see.
- 19:20Dayna Roselli: But she's determined to get back up on stage and she said, I will, I will do it.
- 19:24Dayna Roselli: And it will, yeah, it'll be in Las Vegas because she was supposed to start at Resorts World, and then when this came out, she canceled the show.
- 19:31Dayna Roselli: So just a little background there if you weren't familiar with that.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: Celine was over at the Coliseum for many years and then was going to kick off her residency at Resorts World as it opened, but that didn't happen.
- 19:43Sean McAllister: And so it's it's nice to hear directly from Celine that she is ready to be back on stage, not ready to announce a date for that yet, but that is consistent with the conversations we've had kind of behind the scenes uh here on the ground in Las Vegas with uh people familiar who have told us the show is not off the table.
- 20:08Sean McAllister: Yeah, like there is still a show, it's just a matter of when Celine will be ready to put it all together.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I know people over there were hoping for late fall, so we'll see.
- 20:20Dayna Roselli: I mean, I don't know.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: Um, you said people in the theater were emotional too, right?
- 20:24Sean McAllister: Oh, people were straight up bawling.
- 20:27Sean McAllister: Yeah, like bring tissues, or if you're watching at home, just make sure there's a tissue box nearby.
- 20:33Sean McAllister: Yeah, because it is, it's emotional.
- 20:35Sean McAllister: Yeah, and it and just to see that the juxtaposition of Celine at her absolute best uh on stage in the performances of a lifetime, and compared that to what she's been going through recently, it really is just it's jarring.
- 20:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and she lives here at Lake Las Vegas.
- 20:56Dayna Roselli: I know they f filmed from there too, some parts, or I know she's been doing a lot of the interviews there.
- 21:00Sean McAllister: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:01Sean McAllister: Most of the the film takes place here in Las Vegas, although Las Vegas isn't a huge there are moments, um as there are like flashbacks to different points in her life that take place here in Las Vegas, but it's not like a Vegas centric.
- 21:19Sean McAllister: It's about her, it's not about Las Vegas.
- 21:21Dayna Roselli: Yes, just this but it does take place here.
- 21:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's where she lives.
- 21:25Dayna Roselli: Let's do some tips now.
- 21:28Dayna Roselli: In our tips this week, we have a summer deal for you.
- 21:32Dayna Roselli: How about this?
- 21:32Dayna Roselli: $25 tickets to all the shows at Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club through August 31st.
- 21:39Sean McAllister: That's great.
- 21:40Dayna Roselli: Isn't that great?
- 21:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this is taking place right now.
- 21:43Dayna Roselli: And we thought, you know, Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club is so nice.
- 21:45Dayna Roselli: It's right there in the heart of the strip at the Link Promenade, and they have such a great lineup of comedians over there.
- 21:52Dayna Roselli: The only thing is, this does exclude performances by Lunel.
- 21:57Dayna Roselli: Well, she's the only one though.
- 21:59Sean McAllister: And it's It's been reported that there are talks to get Lunel her own late night show.
- 22:04Sean McAllister: So she is like in high demand.
- 22:06Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 22:07Dayna Roselli: She's always got lines down the, you know, down the link promenade waiting to get into her shows, but all the comedians do.
- 22:14Dayna Roselli: We we've interviewed Michael Yo, he's fabulous over there.
- 22:16Dayna Roselli: We just interviewed Josh Wolf and his son Jacob.
- 22:20Dayna Roselli: They have a show over there as well.
- 22:22Dayna Roselli: The list goes on.
- 22:22Dayna Roselli: They have great comedians, and all the shows and seats, so no matter where, are 25 bucks through August 31st.
- 22:29Dayna Roselli: What a deal.
- 22:30Sean McAllister: That is incredible.
- 22:31Sean McAllister: And like you said, top talent.
- 22:34Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 22:34Sean McAllister: If you go to Jimmy Kimmel's comedy club, you are going to laugh and you're going to have a great experience.
- 22:39Sean McAllister: And on top of that, it's a really nice venue.
- 22:43Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 22:43Dayna Roselli: And they serve food there.
- 22:45Dayna Roselli: They do.
- 22:45Dayna Roselli: Which is rare at some comedy clubs don't serve food, just drink.
- 22:49Dayna Roselli: So you can kind of make a night of it, you know.
- 22:51Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 22:52Dayna Roselli: Also in the Vegas Near Me app, they have discounts as well for Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club.
- 22:57Dayna Roselli: So keep that in mind.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: Maybe once this deal is over and you're like, ah, I'm coming after August 31st.
- 23:02Dayna Roselli: They've got like 50% off tickets on uh in the app as well.
- 23:06Dayna Roselli: And so keep that in mind.
- 23:08Sean McAllister: All right, let's talk fireworks.
- 23:11Sean McAllister: There's gonna be a lot of them as we lead up to 4th of July.
- 23:16Sean McAllister: And we're gonna start seeing fireworks popping off across the Las Vegas Valley a little bit early as well.
- 23:23Sean McAllister: Uh July 2nd and 3rd, there's going to be fireworks at the Las Vegas ballpark following uh Las Vegas Aviators games.
- 23:31Sean McAllister: Also, there's some racing going on up at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and after the racing on July 3rd, they are going to be setting off some early Independence Day displays as well.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 23:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's quite a list, right?
- 23:48Sean McAllister: And plus, on July 4th, we have the Plaza Downtown, Red Rock Casino, Durango Casino, Green Valley Ranch Casino, the M Resort, and Caesars Palace all setting off their own displays on the 4th of July.
- 24:04Dayna Roselli: Then the Exosphere.
- 24:06Dayna Roselli: Then the Exosphere is gonna have a display as well.
- 24:10Dayna Roselli: So like 4th of July is like it's a big occasion.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: This is like kind of New Year's Eve style.
- 24:17Sean McAllister: It is New Year's Eve style.
- 24:19Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean a lot of choices for fireworks.
- 24:22Dayna Roselli: I mean, if you need to see fireworks, you could probably turn in every direction.
- 24:26Dayna Roselli: Um, I know the plaza also saying it's gonna be their biggest display yet.
- 24:29Dayna Roselli: Um, excited to have Durango on board for 4th of July this year since it's brand new.
- 24:34Dayna Roselli: So that adds another location.
- 24:36Dayna Roselli: Um, you've got Henderson, what M and Green Valley Ranch.
- 24:39Dayna Roselli: So I mean, it's it's great.
- 24:41Sean McAllister: Yeah, the M Resort saying they're going to do a 15-minute firework display.
- 24:46Sean McAllister: That's a long time.
- 24:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's really good.
- 24:48Dayna Roselli: And then if you go to the M pool at 7 45, they're having a big event there, live music, and that'll all lead up to the fireworks.
- 24:55Sean McAllister: And by the way, Las Vegas is like one of the hotspots for summer travel.
- 25:00Sean McAllister: I think we're the third most popular summer travel destination in the entire country.
- 25:06Dayna Roselli: Oh, that's great.
- 25:07Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 25:08Dayna Roselli: And we're gonna have a record Independence Day uh travel weekend, I guess I should say, because fourth of July is on a Thursday, and then the Friday and the Saturday, Sunday.
- 25:15Dayna Roselli: But yeah, um, AAA saying that this is a record year and that they forecast about a 5% increase.
- 25:23Dayna Roselli: So that's a lot of people.
- 25:24Sean McAllister: It sure is.
- 25:25Sean McAllister: And I hope all those people tune into Vegas Revealed to find out what's going on when they're here in Las Vegas for their fantastic summer vacation.
- 25:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and don't forget we do have television versions of our podcast.
- 25:39Dayna Roselli: It's not the same exact thing.
- 25:40Dayna Roselli: Some of the topics are similar and some of the interviews, but we have a TV version on our YouTube channel, and we're gonna have a special show on the one-year anniversary of the Exosphere lighting up.
- 25:52Dayna Roselli: Um, and that'll be on our YouTube, and then we'll have an audio version for you as well that'll drop 4th of July week.
- 25:57Sean McAllister: And a big thank you to our sponsors, the Vegas Near Me app.
- 26:02Sean McAllister: You can download it today from the Google Play Store or in the Apple App Store.
- 26:08Sean McAllister: Also, a big thank you to our presenting sponsor, Level Up Law.
- 26:12Sean McAllister: Give them a call, 855 Level Up.
