Habakkuk 3:7-8 | Was the Lord Displeased with the Rivers?
Right in the middle of describing the most overwhelming thing he has ever been shown, Habakkuk stops and asks a question. Mountains are coming apart, nations are trembling, and he breaks off to ask God something about the water.
Notice the order. He is looking at tents, Cushan and Midian, actual dwellings where actual people slept, and they are shaking. Then the rivers. Was the Lord displeased with the rivers.
