False Alarm at UW-Whitewater Campus | Green Bay News
A campus-wide shelter-in-place alert sent by UW-Whitewater today caused panic — but it was a false alarm. Police and sheriff’s deputies swarmed the Whitewater campus around 11 AM, checking buildings after the alert, yet by 11:37 AM, officials confirmed no threat existed and everyone is safe. The scare hit on the first day of classes, adding an unexpected twist to the semester kickoff. Rock County campus remained unaffected. Authorities say they’ll share more details later, but for now, all is secure. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn…
