Transcript
- 0:02SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
- 0:03SPEAKER_02: Florida just jumped up the AP pole.
- 0:06SPEAKER_02: Ohio State is heading to Iowa.
- 0:09SPEAKER_02: Pit Virginia Tech Friday night.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: Miami's at Clemson.
- 0:13SPEAKER_02: Florida and Alabama hit the road.
- 0:15SPEAKER_02: Buckle up, blitzers.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: This is the Mike Blitz Podcast.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Love the marching band bringing us in.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Feeling about to run out through a big paper banner that the cheerleaders are holding.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: How many times you should do that in your career, Darren?
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: In my high school football career?
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like in your legendary career, how often?
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: Your Hall of Fame career.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Every home game.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: Stonewall, yeah.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: How many sheets of butcher paper at Stonewall Jackson did you run through paper?
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Yes, several hundreds of feet of butcher paper with paint all over it.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: I think there is one famous clip of locally famous among my friend group.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Of of us on the local news.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: It's like Stonewall Jackson takes on Central Friday night, and it shows like us running through the thing.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: And there's one clip of me running at a full sprint with my arms spread wide and the paper banner is just wrapped around my face.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's awesome.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: And I'm just I'm just wearing that thing like a Superman flag.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Can't see a thing, just run it at full sprint.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Is that your fifth time doing it, or like your like 25th time doing it?
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Like were you an experienced paper runner through her at this point?
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Or this was this like a like a rookie mistake?
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Like how the known better.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Should have known better.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: Should have known.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: No excuse.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: But in the moment, you just run as fast as you can in one direction and hope for the best.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: I hope that everyone's week five is as exciting as Paper Mache running through your running through as it was later.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: My only hope is that week five can live up to that.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Week four certainly did.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: I thought week four was certainly a banger.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: This is a lighter slate to the week.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: There aren't as many headlining games.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: You know, some of them say like if you're looking for like a good week to like maybe like take the kids to go pick apples or like go do some fall stuff, this is probably the one.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: I'm not doing any of those things.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: I'm you're probably listening as if you're listening to this, you're neither are you, because this is what we do.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: We watch college football.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: But other people, normal people out there are saying, This is a good weekend.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: The casual fans, this is a good weekend for them to go do something else, but not none of us, obviously.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: I knocked that out last weekend, and so I think I have a full day on the couch with the TV and the quad box in store.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: So lucky me.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Quad box.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: It's funny, quad box has become so vital in 2026.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: My buddy River, who actually listens to the podcast sometimes, texted me a screenshot of him listen watching four football games on his quad box, his living room.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: And he was like, How in the world did I not sign up for this three years ago, four years ago?
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: And I had the exact same question for myself when I signed up two, three, four years ago.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: It's just the best.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: It's it's this if for college football viewing, there's no better thing, nothing better than the YouTube TV quad box.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: It's just as good as it gets.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: I mean, not a sponsor at all.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: Nobody's paying us for this.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: ESPN has a quad box, and you can at least move the games around, but you can't get an NBC game, you can't get a Fox game.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: It's just what ESPN has to offer.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: And with college football in 2026, with so many different conferences having T TV affiliations with like every network, you have to.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: You know, it's not like the NFL with everything is streamlined.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: Like college football is like, it's it's really is a la carte all over the place.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: So YouTube TV for my money is the best option.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: But you're right, the Hulu's got a pretty good option.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: ESPN's got some stuff, but the gold standard for my money, YouTube TV quad box nowadays every day.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: I signed up for the two-day free trial just to enjoy it last weekend.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: The next thing is now I gotta get a bigger TV because now I'm really looking at four TVs in one.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: My TV's not small.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: I think I have a 70-inch TV, but when you divide it into four TVs, it's not that big.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: So now I need like a 90 or like a hundred-inch, so I can have like four reasonable size TVs.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's only one perfectly sized TV, and that is a little bit bigger.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: It's always like whatever TV I have, this would be a little bit sweeter if it was like, I don't know, like three inches, five inches bigger.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: I know Mike's answer to this question, but Darren, how many games can you follow at one time?
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, you mean the quad box?
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: If you got a quad box, and sometimes we have the iPad on the table in front of me because there's a fifth game follower.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: Like, how many can you seriously follow at one time?
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's not a problem.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: That's not a I mean.
- 4:56SPEAKER_02: I get lost over three.
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: I can focus hardcore on three, but the fourth and fifth, I'll lose it and be like, oh my gosh, I didn't even realize Alabama was driving.
- 5:03SPEAKER_02: Mike, I know you can probably do eight.
- 5:06unknown: Yeah.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: It helps in the it helps the first half of the game because they're squeezing in so many more commercials, you know.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: They're also probably not playing hurry up.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: They're not in a rush.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: So like they're more spread out.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: But you know, a play, a game is you know, a football game is three and a half hours of coverage, but the actual gameplay is only like a hundred minutes.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: It's a it's not that much actual time, so spread out.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Because half, you know, the clock is winding.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: It's not that much time of actual football play, but you have your eyes dark.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: You know what it would be even better?
- 5:34SPEAKER_02: Is I missed ESPN Gold Line when they had their own series channel.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: Oh man, it was so good.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: And you knew it was like some of them were on a delay.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: I remember we were on our honeymoon, we were in Aruba, and I was sitting at a bar, and I'm like, what is this?
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: I love this.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: This is a red zone of college football.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: We need this in our life, but we do need this in our life.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, that would be so good.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: That would be sweet.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: All right, that's enough banter for this evening.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: Tonight's plan, we're gonna make some money, at least we're gonna try.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: We're gonna hope so.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we are hope to.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: We're gonna put together a parlay.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: We're gonna do is we're gonna kind of take a take a stroll through the week five menu, so to speak.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Cruise some games.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: We're gonna talk about the five homers.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: We picked three two or three games that we really like, we think are interesting, and then another handful of kind of maybe off-the-beaten path, lesser, less enthusiastic games that we think are worth watching for a reason or two, which we'll share with you.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: We're just gonna give you a sense of what's coming with week five.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: With that, I'll turn it over to you, Master Commander.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, captain by captain, Mr.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Francis.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Where do you want to start?
- 6:32SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna stand on my table and we're gonna start in Blacksburg, Virginia on Friday night on ESPN at 7 o'clock.
- 6:39SPEAKER_02: The number 26 Pittsburgh Panthers are coming to Blacksburg to take on the Hokies.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they are just outside of the top 25.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: Now, CBS Sports has Pitt as 25, that's why I said it, but technically they're in that 25 to 30 range.
- 6:54SPEAKER_02: Pitt's defense, guys, is ranked 15th overall.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: The Hokies are the 30th ranked defense.
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: I think we're getting into a point now where the the sample size is significant enough that you're not just playing against McNey State each week.
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: No offense, Matt.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: But Pitt's offense is 36, the Hokie's offense is 28, Pitts defense is 15, Hokie's defense is 30.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: Guys, what's gonna go on in this game?
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: Before we jump into that, I want to say a quick fun fact.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: This is the first time that there have been two 4-0 teams from a power major conference unranked.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: First time it's ever happened in college football history, according to a Virginia Tech beatwriter I follow.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Two teams, 4-0, both in major conferences, unranked.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: So, what's at stake?
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: Clearly, a ranking.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: What's gonna happen?
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: I have no idea.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: Darren, I'm let you start.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: This is your game.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: Well, one of them is gonna go 5-0.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: I'll tell you that much.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: I didn't thank you.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: I didn't see that.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: You're right.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: Good call, good call.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, Captain, oh captain, nice, nice.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: This, and that is where my certainty ends about what's gonna happen Friday night.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: What an amazing Friday night it's gonna be.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: I've got a couple special beers lined up.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: I've got like the Southern Tier Pump King, a Friday night special.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: We gotta enter Sandman.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be absolutely epic for the ages at 7 p.m.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: on a Friday.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Uh little bit of nerves, a little bit of butterflies in the stomach.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: There's an appropriate amount of nerves going on.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: That's good though, means you you really want it.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Here's what I'm looking at.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: Pitts a great team.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: And so they are are uh they are rushing for five yards a carry.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: We're rushing for slightly less, 4.4 yards a carry, which is surprising because we have had Overton just balling out, and our running game seems so good.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: I think Grunk and Meyer's taking too many sacks.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: But they are throwing for 13.6 yards per reception, which is incredible.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: And Mainson Heinschel is a really good gunslinger.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: Um, it's scary.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: They've they're bringing a lot of offense, and Lamarck said they have a pretty high-ranked defense too.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: And so Tech's spread is five and a half.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: I think that has dropped.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: I think that's down to three and a half now.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: So the line is yeah, I think the line is moving towards Pittsburgh.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: And so I'm a little nervous.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: We're still slightly favored because of the home team, but I think in this stadium with this crowd in this four-o, four and oh environment, I think the home team advantage is gonna be more than it usually is.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: On a your average noon in the Big Ten.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: Home team advantage, tech wins by one.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, who is best I can do.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: Best I can do.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: I don't Pitt hasn't played anybody good yet.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: Miami, Ohio, Syracuse, UCF, and Buck now.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: I'm not saying that beating VMI was a big thing or Boston College, but man, don't they haven't played anybody yet.
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: And I didn't like you know we didn't impress me by UCF.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: I I actually really I think these teams are pretty darn evenly matched.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, I might give Mason Heinschel a teeny bit of a quarterback edge, but I'm I would gladly give Virginia Tech the edge at running back.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: I like what I'm seeing out of Pitts receivers, but I love Virginia Tech's tight end, Luke Reynolds.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: You can kind of go back and forth.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Cortez Harris has been a real star of Virginia Tech.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: Five sacks on the year.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: Love to see that playing next to Copeland.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: I this is these are two teams that are good, that are pretty evenly matched, and I could easily see it going either way.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna give the nod to Franklin.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: I think this is a spot where he has elevated tech's floor that I don't think the last regime or even the regime before at would really do.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: James Franklin wins these games.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: These are games that he wins for a long time.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: He's got the talent to do it.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: We can't bet on it anyway.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: If I were gonna be bet on it, I probably would I'd probably take the under or the hokies cover, but not both.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: I was looking at coacheshotseat.com, like which coach should be fired next.
- 10:49SPEAKER_02: And Narduzzi is actually ranked 13th on that list.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: I thought I was surprised by that.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, like he's a polarizing figure.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Some people don't really like to like talk to him.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: He's not very good at the media, but like if maybe he's not so maybe that means he's not rubbing the right alumni elbows, right?
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: But he's a darn good coach.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: If they let if they let him go, Pitt has been a revolving door with talent going otherwise.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: Raheem Miles, their all-American linebacker, is currently playing for Texas.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: Jordan Addison, the superstar wide receiver, who's now a Viking, was a was it Pitt like he has seen Trojan, correct.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, with the USC, and then he's drafted by the Vikings.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: For what Pitt is able to maintain and what they're able to do with the roster retention and building, he's done a bang up job.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: I it's I would love to have Pat Marduzzi at my coach if I was a mid-major.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's something he's not like a really he's a really good coach.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: I don't I don't know why they would I think Pitt would be a shame to run him off, but you know why not?
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: Agree.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: These coaches have a little bit of bad blood.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: There was a comment war several years ago before COVID, and Penn State beat Pitt, and Narduzzi said something like, it felt like we were playing the Super Bowl to play Penn State.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: And Franklin then said something like, Yeah, it felt to us like we're just beating Akron.
- 12:00unknown: Woo!
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: And so that's a more material.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: It's like nine years ago, but still here at the Mike Blitz.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: But they're not gonna chip.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: Here at the Mike Blitz, we are we are Akron fans here.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: I will not allow any Akron you will not be smirched, the mighty zips on this podcast.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: We are huge Akron fans.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: You take that name out of your mouth.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's right.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: Can't have that.
- 12:21SPEAKER_02: Let's look at a game we can bet on.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: It's our one of our boomer teams, the Tennessee Volunteers, coming off a game where I thought they played very well against Texas.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: Auburn is coming to town.
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: 3:30, Saturday, ESPN, and the number 14 offense in the nation, the Tennessee Volunteers, and the number 16 defense, Auburn, go head-to-head in this game.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: So the line opened at minus 9.5.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: It went down to minus 7.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: Now it's minus 7.5.
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: So at least scoring a fan duel.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: So it's going back in Tennessee's way.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: Tennessee is coming off a just a horrific performance on the offensive line.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Their offensive line is not that bad.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: This is not a 10-sack offensive line bad.
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: I like Tennessee here.
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: I'm not convinced Byron Brown.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: This game is at 3.30.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: Stadium's gonna be pretty lively.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: I'm not convinced Byron Brown is gonna be able to throw the ball on this secondary.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: Lost in the sauce last week was again, Tennessee had six sacks.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: They gave up 30 yards rushing and not a lot passing.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: I've got a lot of bad things to say about Arch Manning.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: People who listen to this podcast know that now.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: He's better than Byron Brown.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: I'll give him that.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: I don't see any reason other than the fact that it's a SEC opponent with who I think is a good coach.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: Tennessee should roll here.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: I like Tennessee to cover.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm right there with you.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: And sacks are something that can be fixed in a week of practice.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: Like Fazon Brandon.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Faison Brandon can look at the tape.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: He can get with his coach.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: He can say, what do I do instead of getting sacked and us losing a hundred real yards of offense by getting sacked ten times?
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: Um, and they can fix that.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: And they're playing at home, and this seven points I think is totally doable.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: I love Tennessee minus seven.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: And I just don't think while I love Xavier Atkins, the all-American linebacker in Auburn, they just don't have a Colin Simmons disruptive pass rusher type on that defense.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: At least not right now.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: They will eventually.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: Auburn's got to do good defenses, but not in 2026.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Now I said on this podcast a week or two ago that Auburn used to be my insta under team, right?
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: Like just take that under.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: And then I let it go.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: And should I rekindle that romance?
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: Is now the time to like bet that under because we got two defenses coming in to pound on each other and under 55?
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was what is it now?
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: It opened at 55 and a half, and I love to be under at that point.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: If it's 54 and a half, which is still a pretty big number, I'd be I would I I could I could bet the under.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: I won't do both.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: We we can bet Tennessee to cover or the under, but we can't do both.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: That's just like you don't do that.
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: You cut off too much, too much of your tails on both ends.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: If you guys prefer the under, I'm down with that.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: We do we're historically better on over-unders for what's worth.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna keep saying that.
- 14:59SPEAKER_02: I I prefer the under and 54.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Let's see the under 54.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because Tennessee will score more than they scored against Texas, and they will keep Auburn scoring less points than Texas.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: So that makes sense.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Under 54.
- 15:14SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: Under 54.
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: All right, cool.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: It in.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: Alright, guys.
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: My team, the Iowa Hawkeyes.
- 15:20SPEAKER_02: We are welcoming in the Buckeyes from Columbus.
- 15:23SPEAKER_02: 3.30 on Saturday on CBS Ohio State.
- 15:27SPEAKER_02: Number one offense in the nation.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: Jeremiah Smith is a beast.
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: Iowa's defense is ranked number 10 overall.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: Iowa's favored by a lot.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: Well, hand it over to you.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: What do you guys think?
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: Iowa.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: I mean, sorry.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: Ohio State minus whatever.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: Look.
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: Michigan had two 100 yards receivers last year, last week against this Iowa defense.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: Ohio State has better receivers than anybody in the country.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: Iowa's two of their explosive plays were tip ball deflections.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: I don't know where the explosive plays are coming from.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: The special team's touchdown is great.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: It is great to get that.
- 16:01SPEAKER_01: It always gives you a shot.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: You can never expect that.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Nothing that I see that I saw last week in the Michigan game leads me to believe that Iowa can hang with this Ohio State team.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: Unfortunately, I just think it's too much.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: I think it's too many scoring, too explosive.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: I like the over, and I really like Ohio State to cover, unfortunately, this week.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think the question is I'm gonna go with the assumption that the uh the Iowa Hawkeyes, they will score 14 points.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: That is just kind of what they do, right?
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: They will score 14.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: So the question is, will Ohio State be able to score against this very good Hawkeye defense 28 points or more?
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: I say 32.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: 32.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: So over under 45 and a half.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: So if you say, so if you say I was getting 14, that means Ohio State has to score 32 or more.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: I still score.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about laying the 14 points.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: Oh, you're right.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: Laying them.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna lay them.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: Laying the 14 with Ohio State.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: That means scoring 29 points covers.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: Uh, sure does.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm talking about.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm talking about.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Can they score more than 29 or more?
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Yes, they can.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: So Ohio State minus.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Mark?
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: I'm good with that.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: I hate to I hate to do this some DeMark's mighty hawkeyes.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: I don't think he has any part of this.
- 17:21SPEAKER_02: Guys, I brought my true fandom right here behind me, the North Central College Cardinals, the number three team in the D3.
- 17:26SPEAKER_02: We're not gonna get into them tonight.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: But that's where my that's where my heart is.
- 17:30SPEAKER_02: My heart is also in Iowa.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: And therefore, I'm not gonna put money where my heart is because I can't think with my head when I think with this thing.
- 17:37SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna leave this up to you guys.
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: You know what you're talking about.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: I will follow you here begrudgingly.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: I think we're Ohio State, Ohio State to cover?
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: I don't know that I can say that, but yeah.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: Okay, let's take the cover.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: And I'd love, I'm gonna post this one on the YouTube, and I want to see if we get some Iowa fans to tell us that we're wrong.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: Come on, Iowa.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: They are surgeons.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: They've got the wind at their sails.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: They are coming, they're coming off the biggest win they've had in a long time.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: So who knows?
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: Maybe we get a maybe a Hank Brown, Kamari Moulton, and those tight ends.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: They put something together for Ohio State.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Crazier things have happened.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: Special teams become special that night.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: By the time the game's over.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: All right, let's move on to Charlottesville's the University of Virginia.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: They're packing up and going down to Tallahassee.
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: Take on Florida State.
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: Florida State's in that mid to upper 50s range of the team ranking.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: Virginia, no love at all.
- 19:10SPEAKER_02: They had some to they were 25 there for a second.
- 19:13SPEAKER_02: They dropped down.
- 19:14SPEAKER_02: They're barely even getting points.
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: Now UVA's defense does rank 20th overall.
- 19:18SPEAKER_02: They are on the road.
- 19:19SPEAKER_02: We were at this game last year in Charlottesville, and it was awesome.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: What's happening 3 30 on Saturday on ESPN 2?
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: So we can't bet on this, so I'm gonna kind of move quickly.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: I don't what happen what happened to Virginia in that in the West Virginia game was kind of a West Virginia specific thing.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: West Virginia is dynamic in a way.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: They can challenge you with that, with that, with that offense that Richard Rodriguez puts together.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: That Florida State cannot.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: I do not think Ashton Daniels can scamper that well.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: I think they're gonna be able to maintain the run.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: I think Virginia wins here and they probably cover.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: I'm not feeling super good about it, but I also think Florida State might be on Quitwatch.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: What do you think, Darren?
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, quit watch is the problem.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: If UVA comes in from Virginia into their house and starts beating them up a little bit, I think emotions are gonna take over and the Florida State Seminoles are gonna fall apart and collapse.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: And UVA has every ability to do that.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: It's a dangerous spot though, like minus three is the right the right spread, I think, because Florida State is just good enough, like pure talent and body size and physicality to keep this game real close and do something miraculous at the end of the game.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: So it's kind of a dangerous spot, but UVA's gonna uh UVA is gonna pull it out at the end.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: They got a better head on their shoulders, I believe.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: In theory, the stadium will have full power, electricity, so everyone's working this time.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: In theory.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: In theory, we'll see.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: What was that from, though?
- 20:45SPEAKER_02: Somebody drove into something there, right?
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: That wasn't just like that.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a student, a student drove into a transistor like a block or two away, and I guess it had like a chain effect or something.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: I don't know, no electrician.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: Couldn't tell you.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: Both teams are coming off of the Delaware Mud Hens, Blue Hens, and Central Arkansas, the boyhood home of Scotty Pippin.
- 21:03unknown: Right.
- 21:04SPEAKER_02: Chicago Bulls, 90s.
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: All right, uh, we can't bet on the other one.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: But if you can, if let's say they're let's say our blitzers are at home, they happen to be in a state outside Virginia.
- 21:13SPEAKER_02: What do you say?
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: Do you have them go for UVA?
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: I would have them take UVA to cover or under 51 point.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: I'm seeing 51 and a half is the total under.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: I like the under there as well.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: Um I just, you know, I could see if UVA does what they want to do, they're gonna want to keep Florida State's offense off the field, run the ball a ton, just get out of there as quickly as quickly as possible, keep that clock running.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: So I I can see a I can see a pretty strong commit to the run game.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: And I do I think UVA's offensive line is good enough to push Florida State's front around.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: So I think they will.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: So I think UVA's path to victory is to run the beejes out of the ball, keep the clock running, keep the offense off the field, or so under or cover be my pick.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: And make Ashton Daniels beat them with his arm, which he can't do.
- 21:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't think so either.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: I don't think so either.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: As much as I love Deuce Robinson, he's an NFL wide receiver.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: I love Deuce Robinson.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: I got a hard time seeing it.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: All right, Mike, let's go to our final homer game here.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: The uh the Tigers of LSU are they've dropped in the rankings after a huge win against AM.
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: Levitt, is he still hurt?
- 22:17SPEAKER_02: How's that leg?
- 22:18SPEAKER_02: They're bringing in McNey State, an FCS school.
- 22:22SPEAKER_02: There, I didn't even see a betting line on this one.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, there's no line on this because they don't know if they don't even know if Levit's gonna play, which is pretty standard.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: When the when they have these games against a uh P4 team against a lower G6 or FCS program, sometimes the betting line will Won't come out until later.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: It's going to be big.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: It's going to be LSU minus 48, something like that.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: I'm assuming maybe 42.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: The question is, will it be Sam Levitt or Landon Clark?
- 22:49SPEAKER_01: For this, I'm going to assume it's going to be Landon Clark.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: He's got a low-grade hamstring pull, is what happened, which he could have stayed out there on, but obviously he didn't.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: McNeese is not really any threat to beating LSU.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: I think we're going to win.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: I would obviously, I don't know what the line's going to be.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: It's going to be Landon Clark.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: Bet on if you want to.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm this is stay away from me for because of the quarterback insecurity.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: All I want to see is I want to see the depth, guys.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: With Whit Weeks out, Trade Ezreal, Tradez Green out, and Deshaun Spears are three of our star linebacker.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: We have some guys who are down with injuries, Spears, all season.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: I'm looking at who's getting those depth snaps because our season's going to get really tough here, mid-October, late November.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: So I want to see who's filling the gap.
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: But from a betting standpoint, I don't know.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: If you like Landon Clark, throw some shekels on us to cover, but I got no confidence.
- 23:38SPEAKER_02: I liked his legs.
- 23:38SPEAKER_02: He looked good in that game when he came in for Levit last week.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:43SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: Let's go to, if you didn't, if you didn't by chance listen to the Quick Six episode we had a lot of talk here about Camario and Keelon.
- 23:52SPEAKER_02: We are going to start, Bill, the number seven Alabama Crimson Tider going to Mississippi State, taking on the Bulldogs at noon on Saturday on ESPN.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: I mean, I like this.
- 24:04SPEAKER_02: I like the matchup of the Mississippi State offense, ranked number 10, Alabama defense, ranked number 13.
- 24:09SPEAKER_02: Those are nice and even.
- 24:10SPEAKER_02: Gets a little offsided on the other side.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: But what are you thinking about this one, guys?
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: I think we're going to see 58.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: 58.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: 16 and a half now.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: It's been bet up.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: It's going up.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: I say follow the steam.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: Follow the steam there.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: It started at 58 and a half.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: It's up over 60.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: So I think we're going to see a huge high-scoring game here.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: I think Camario can get it done against this Alabama defense.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: And we're just going to go skyrocket to the 90-point game here.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Over 60.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: I don't hate that at all.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: I I also would I'd bet I'd bet Alabama to cover as well.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: I think Alabama's front seven is actually going to be the difference.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: Like Mark was saying, I think it's actually going to be the difference in this game.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: I love what Camario's doing.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Mississippi State's offensive line is bad.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: There's not a good blocking unit.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: Jeff Levy's offense, they've you know they do those super wide spreads.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: They get like they spread everybody out and they get four or five, six in the in the box, give Fluff Bothwell a chance to be the punishing running back that he is.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: The problem is Alabama has athletes.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: So even if they only leave six guys in the box, those six guys are really, really good.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: And they are better than Mississippi State.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: So you could talk me into I really want to pick Mississippi State.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: I really love Camario.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: I'm not a Mississippi State fan.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: I am a Camario Taylor fan.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: I love watching him play.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: I want to pull from him here, but I just can't look away from that defense.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: So I'm with you, Darren, on the over.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: I'm also Alabama covers five and a half.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: If you want to double dip on this one, but that's up to y'all.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Bring us back down to earth here.
- 25:43SPEAKER_02: All right, so I was looking at the score against South Carolina, and I think South Carolina's got a decent defense, and the total points was 75 in that game.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: They put up when they played Minnesota.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Mississippi State put up 38 points.
- 25:56SPEAKER_02: They put up 31 against a good Missouri defense.
- 25:59SPEAKER_02: I I'm following you guys on the over.
- 26:01SPEAKER_02: Actually, I like both of them.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: But I think I'm following you on the over on this one.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: I would stay away from Alabama.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: Mississippi State and Camario might just win this game at home.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: Listen, I've faded Camario two weeks in a row now.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: Although that's not true.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: I liked him against Minnesota, but I wasn't confident.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: And I think I picked Missouri last week.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: I thought my I think I picked Missouri minus four.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: I think I got cooked on that one, or whatever that was.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: So I am I'm wrong in that regard.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: So maybe maybe we just stick to the over on that one.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: I got no problem.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: I would love to see him win.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: I would love to see Mississippi shocked again.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: The Cowbells are going to be bonkers.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: It's a great noon game for Saturday, honestly.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: All right, so we're thinking stay away and just the over?
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: I think over.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: I support that.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: I support that.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 26:46SPEAKER_02: Now, the one of the teams that made the biggest jump in the polls that I've seen so far this year.
- 26:51SPEAKER_02: Florida, all the way up to number eight, is going to Columbia, Missouri to take on the number 25 Missouri Tigers.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: 3:30 Saturday on ESPN, Florida.
- 27:01SPEAKER_02: Is it Jaden Ball?
- 27:03SPEAKER_02: I always think I want to say something else, but man, that offense has looked awesome.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: But can they keep it up, guys?
- 27:08SPEAKER_02: Can they keep it up?
- 27:09SPEAKER_02: What are your thoughts?
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: Mulver Missouri here.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: I got Missouri.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: I like Missouri plus four and a half.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: Listen, I know that obviously Aaron Philo, Buster Faulkner, Jaden Ball, Dallas Wilson, those receivers, they're they are lighting them up.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: They're getting all the air in the room.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: This is the letdown spot that we just saw happen.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: And I don't think for any reason that Florida is immune.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: Missouri is going to be ready.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: They're going to be excited.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: Drinkowitz is an offensive coach.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: Austin Simmons has two wide receivers that are NFL guys.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying first or second round, but guys that are going to go pro.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: And Florida's secondary is straight up leaky.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: It's not that good.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: The safeties nor the corners are that strong.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: I don't see how Florida avoids a massive letdown after that old miss win.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: Goes on the road at Missouri, who frankly is for the most who'd they play last week?
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Who did Missouri play last week?
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, they lost.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: They're back against the wall.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: They lost Mississippi State.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: Backs against the wall, wounded animal mode.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: I'm getting four and a half points over a field goal.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: I like Missouri a lot.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: So I actually like the over here, which which goes against your pick.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: I know, Mike.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: My big question is how good is Austin Simmons?
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: And I think the answer is pretty darn good.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: It is at home.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Um I'm looking at an overscore here.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: I think that Florida's offense is undeniably an absolute Corvette, and they're going to score 30 plus.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: Florida's offense.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: But can Austin Simmons at home match them score for score?
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: I think he can.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: I think so too.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: And so I don't know if we want to bet like an underdog.
- 28:49SPEAKER_03: Their voice goes extra high.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: You know what you mean.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: Are we saying the same thing here?
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: Are we are we best friends now?
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: Are we best friends now?
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: Here's what I'm gonna do.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: Let's for the parlay, let's take, I think let's let's let's let's go where we agree.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: Let's go with the over, let's play just the over 56 and a half.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: I think that's the play, unless Mark objects.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: But I'm gonna sprinkle a bit on the Missouri money line on my own.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you.
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: I was gonna say, how can you not the home dog with the team coming off a huge win with a major letdown?
- 29:19SPEAKER_02: Uh meltdown alert.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: I love I I think you're both right.
- 29:23SPEAKER_01: It's true.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: But Florida also might just be a wagon.
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, this was though they've they've played one game worth of damn, and they've absolutely blew the doors off of Ole Miss.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: So maybe they're just that good.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: And maybe and maybe they and just smack the bejece out of them and they hang and then put up another 50 burger and hit this over on their own.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: Like that, that's not outside their own possibility.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: I just don't think they're immune.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: And I think I like what Darren said a lot.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: I don't think Austin Simmons and his receivers, even his running back, even though Mod Hardy's not back yet.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: I I just think Eli Drink is an offensive guy.
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: Like playing at home, Florida's defense is not that good, especially when you get beyond the defensive line.
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: So I I mean, this is you know, I mean, there is a world where Florida scores every single possession.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah but Missouri's gonna score eight of ten of those.
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: So let's just let's I I think we do just the over six and a half, and if you're if you're feeling saucer, maybe on your do a moneyline bet on your own.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm gonna do.
- 30:17SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna do that one on my own.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: That's that's the right play.
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, stick the stick the moneyline bet for the home team Missouri Tigers on its own.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: But five and a but five and a half points, like they could easily have a great high-scoring game and Florida wins by seven, and we don't cover five.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: And it yeah, watch I mean the game could be 45 to 32.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, you know, it could be touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, Florida scores last, covers the four nice left, and then we're cooked.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: And we're cooked.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay, all right, good.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: We agree.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: Let's move on.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: The Miami Hurricanes are going to the other Death Valley to take on Dabo Sweeney's last stand and the Clemson Tigers.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: Although I do believe you think they're coming back.
- 30:54SPEAKER_02: Saturday night, 7:30 ABC.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: Guys, Clemson's offense is ranked 101.
- 31:03SPEAKER_02: It's not good.
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: It's not good at all.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: So a couple things are happening a couple things are happening here.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: The spread has come down a little bit, and the total is coming down a little bit.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: They're calling for some weather.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: 47, it was 49 and a half.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: Now it's gonna look at 47 and a half.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: There's a chance it might be a muck bowl.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: And I kind of think that's Clemson's only way for the under to hit and only way to cover is if it gets mucky and gross, which is the game Clemson wants to play.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: Clemson knows they can't outrun them, outspeed them, out talent them.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: I don't think Tate Reynolds is so bad.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: I think he might be okay long term, but he is picking a true freshman.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: Because they have to be the true freshman.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: It's grow-up time.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, I feel bad for him.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, just you know, he's gonna take his lumps this week.
- 31:54SPEAKER_01: And I I think Clemson might be okay this year.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: There might be an eight or nine game winner, it's just not gonna be today.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: My point with the spread going down to 47, I don't know how you can lay 17 points.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: Like, that's a lot of points to lay on a low total, is my is my point.
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: But like, do you really want to put any money on Clemson right now?
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: Like, watching their offense is awful.
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: It's like having knee surgery, it's terrible.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: Here's the play on the weather game.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: I say, yeah, so we're looking at rain.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: I think the first half under 24.5 points, 24 and a half in the first half, they might go three to six in the first half.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: Does that make any sense to you guys?
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yes, it yes, it does.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: I think it's the first half.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, these off Clemson's offense is horrible.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: They Miami could very well keep them to a zero or a three, and that in itself in a rain game is under 24 and a half in the first half.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Man, but there was player playing.
- 32:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, go ahead.
- 32:58SPEAKER_01: What's the latest weather?
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: I mean, have we looked at it before?
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm glad you asked.
- 33:01SPEAKER_02: Uh, Saturday night, October 3rd, in Clemson, South Carolina, expected to reach the high of 82 with a 60 to 75% chance of rain and showers.
- 33:10SPEAKER_02: Rain and showers will be heavy at times during the evening night when Clemson and Miami kick off at 7 30.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be gross.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be nasty.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: Let's be doing up the middle.
- 33:21SPEAKER_01: I'm thinking first half under, especially if the weather's real bad.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: They're not gonna because they have some time.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: They can wait out the weather.
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: Like they can probably say, like, okay, the sun is coming in the second half for now.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: Let's just kind of let's pack it in, play slow.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: I love Darren, it's a great call.
- 33:35SPEAKER_01: I think under 24 and a half in the first half under is a great play.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: But I'm still I'm fully expecting, I'm fully expecting uh Miami to win.
- 33:43SPEAKER_01: And I'm fully expecting if the weather's nice, good grief.
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: Darren Mensa and Malachi Tony might have 300 yards each.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: I don't know what to say.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: But if it's gross, I think it will be.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 33:56SPEAKER_01: Okay, good.
- 33:56SPEAKER_01: Let's get it in.
- 33:58SPEAKER_02: That's like they do with Virginia Tech.
- 34:00SPEAKER_02: Stick it in there.
- 34:00SPEAKER_02: Stick it in.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 34:02SPEAKER_02: Um, we have two coaches going in different directions.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: We have the number 24 Kentucky Wildcats.
- 34:08SPEAKER_02: I don't know why that just cleared my mind for a second.
- 34:10SPEAKER_02: And Shane Beamers, South Carolina Gamecocks, 415 Saturday on the SEC Network in Columbia, South Carolina.
- 34:20SPEAKER_02: Last I saw there's South Carolina's favorite by three and a half.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: I'm seeing down to two and a half now.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: Is it down?
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah.
- 34:28SPEAKER_01: South Carolina's on quit watch.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: We all saw what happened with Dylan Stewart, the their best player who's been suspended indefinitely.
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: Well, Norris Sellers looked bad last week.
- 34:36SPEAKER_01: He looked bad last week.
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: South Carolina is reeling.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: Kentucky was on the way up.
- 34:41SPEAKER_01: Kentucky is still riding high off that AM beatdown.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: Will Stein, the offensive line is getting better and better.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: I I want I want Kentucky to win outright.
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: And I and I think to go back to my prediction in the last show, this is Shane Beaver's last game as the South Carolina Game Cox.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: I got Kentucky winning outright and Shane Beaver getting fired, probably in the same 24-hour span.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: What do you think?
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: Dylan Stewart's suspended.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: In Depot, yeah.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: He fought with the coaches on the side.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: He's a first-round pick.
- 35:12SPEAKER_01: He's gonna be picked, he's gonna be picking the first 20 picks.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: His mind is already on the combine.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: Like in he's not in Columbia anymore.
- 35:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Dylan Stewart's out.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: And with a guy like that, the steam is going towards Kentucky, the line's coming down.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: I love Kentucky moneyline here.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we got plus one 18.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, if we're if we're talking about a an eight-leg parlay, taking three points ain't bad either.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: I'm only getting two and a half now.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: Well, we can take three.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: We can buy it.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: But moneyline, maybe another one.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: I mean, so we are if we're gonna do we can get two and a half or three and a half.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I think we I don't think I don't think taking two and a half makes any sense.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: I either think we take the money line or three and a half.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so probably moneyline.
- 35:55unknown: No.
- 35:56SPEAKER_01: Money line, I throw up there.
- 35:57SPEAKER_01: Mark, you mark you decide.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: I'm good with either.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, be conservative for us, Mark.
- 36:01SPEAKER_01: Kentucky's winning.
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: We're winning.
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, sorry, Kentucky's gonna win this game, but I'll let you all decide.
- 36:05SPEAKER_01: Do you want three and a half points or do you want the money line?
- 36:07SPEAKER_02: You just said it.
- 36:08SPEAKER_02: Kentucky's gonna win.
- 36:09SPEAKER_02: I want my money on a win.
- 36:10SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna risk that.
- 36:12SPEAKER_02: All right, good.
- 36:12SPEAKER_02: Kentucky's gonna win.
- 36:13SPEAKER_02: Dang it.
- 36:14SPEAKER_02: All right, we have the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are going to Chapel Hill to take on Bill Belichick and his girlfriend.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: Who, guys, I love it.
- 36:21SPEAKER_02: We're not hearing a lot about her.
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: I know I'm bringing it back up.
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: But uh, it's kind of nice.
- 36:26SPEAKER_02: It's kind of nice.
- 36:26SPEAKER_02: It's been quiet over there.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: It's noon on Saturday.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's gonna be quiet on the quad box because Alabama, Mississippi State's gonna have my volume.
- 36:34SPEAKER_02: But Notre Dame, dude, the number four offense in the nation, the number two defense in the nation, North Carolina's offense, 97.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: Last time I saw Notre Dame saved by 22 and a half, the Golden Domes.
- 36:48SPEAKER_02: Guys, is it do we even watch this?
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: Well, I put this on the list just because I'm curious.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: I actually don't want to.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: This is for me as a stay away game for because one the over-under is 47 and a half, and the line is 21 and a half.
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: You're already talking about a low total and a big number to cover, so I don't want to lay the points.
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: The spread is going up 21 to 21 and a half.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: What I want to see, and what I'm just curious from just a college football fan perspective, Bill Belichick has good defense.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: He plays good defense.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Can he do enough to stop Notre Dame?
- 37:17SPEAKER_01: Like, is Notre Dame a true national title contender?
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: I think this is gonna be a good chance as you're just as just a college football fan to observe CJ Carr and those guys, and with you know, the running game that doesn't have Jadarian Price or Jeremiah Love anymore, and who are still trying to find their go-to playmakers on offense.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: I think Bill Belichick's defense is a good, interesting test.
- 37:36SPEAKER_01: So I'm more interested in kind of like a the car crash over there, what's gonna happen, but I don't have any I don't have much interest in betting on this.
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: What do y'all think?
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: Okay, UNC has a good defense.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: Here's the proof.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: They went to Clemson and let Clemson score 28.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: They played in Ireland and TCU only scored 10.
- 37:56SPEAKER_02: So but it was gross and it was gross and wet.
- 38:00SPEAKER_02: Also gross and wet off the college.
- 38:01SPEAKER_02: So it's gonna be like in Clemson this week.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so do they they've only played three games?
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: The the it might be a farce.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: UNC has a good defense, might just be fool's gold.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: Uh Notre Dame has the engine to score 60.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: So I don't mind laying the points for Notre Dame.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: It seems like a really great team and a really crap team to me.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: Let me ask you this.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Let me ask you this.
- 38:26SPEAKER_01: If would you have felt that way if the lightning the lightning delay and Clemson didn't happen and North Carolina North Carolina was cruising in the North Carolina Clemson game last week.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: And it was fine cruising.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: 17 to 3.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: 17 to 3.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: I mean, North Carolina was in charge.
- 38:46SPEAKER_01: And then obviously things went sideways.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: Like I kind of think the hour and a half delay, Clemson had some bad channels to dinner, who knows what, and kind of out of his you know what.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:00SPEAKER_01: I think I still I do think I do think UNC is good to even.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: It's not necessarily because of the talent they have on the field.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: I just think Bill Belichick knows what he's doing.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: He knows where to put guys in play.
- 39:09SPEAKER_01: And I don't think Notre Dame is that explosive, at least not yet.
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: So I'm I it's gonna be Notre Dame's winning this game.
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: Probably by 10 to 15.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: I just don't think they're winning by 30.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: I think they're gonna, I think North Carolina is gonna, and they're they're playing it in Chapel Hill.
- 39:27SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're gonna be fired up, and I just think they're gonna find ways.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: They're gonna have every card they have, every trick they can pull their sleeves.
- 39:34SPEAKER_01: What version of Billy Edwards can we get?
- 39:36SPEAKER_01: I'm not expecting a lot, frankly, out of Billy Edwards and Bobby Petrino, even though I think Bobby Petrino is a good offensive coach.
- 39:41SPEAKER_01: And I love that tight end from North Carolina.
- 39:43SPEAKER_01: That guy's been dealing all year.
- 39:45SPEAKER_01: I just can't like 22 points on a non-explosive Notre Dame team on the road.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: That's too much for me.
- 39:51SPEAKER_01: Mark, what do you think?
- 39:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, UNC is coming off a bye, too.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: UNC is coming off a bye, so stay away.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Sorry, Mark, go ahead.
- 39:58SPEAKER_02: No, you're good.
- 39:59SPEAKER_02: If you're not feeling it, I'm not feeling it.
- 40:01SPEAKER_02: And uh no, over it.
- 40:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, over it.
- 40:04SPEAKER_02: All right, let's go to Texas Christian University.
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: They are hosting the BYU Cougars on 7 p.m.
- 40:12SPEAKER_02: Saturday night on ESBN.
- 40:13SPEAKER_02: Bear Bachenmeyer.
- 40:15SPEAKER_02: This is I was looking the other day.
- 40:16SPEAKER_02: There was a Bachmeyer who was a quarterback in the UFL, and I wanted to know if that was his brother.
- 40:21SPEAKER_01: I think it is.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I love their names.
- 40:23SPEAKER_02: Hank and Bear.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: Hank was at Boise for a while, way back when.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:27SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 40:28SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 40:28SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 40:29SPEAKER_02: But yeah, last time I saw the line BYU by six and a half.
- 40:32SPEAKER_02: TCU's defense is ranked 28th overall.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: BYU's defense is 21st.
- 40:37SPEAKER_02: They're close to each other.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: The BYU offense is 25, but the TCU offense is 60.
- 40:43SPEAKER_02: That is the big difference there.
- 40:45SPEAKER_02: TCU's offense, I don't think, could move the ball.
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: Guys, thoughts.
- 40:49SPEAKER_01: So I put this, I added this to the docket just because this line is weird.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: And the kind of rule of thumb when a line is weird is you lean into it.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: I thought the spread would be BYU minus 14, minus 17.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: So I'm clearly missing something.
- 41:04SPEAKER_01: So that says, like, rule of thumb is I'm supposed to take TCU plus six and a half.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: But as Mark just said, I don't want to bet on that offense, but I feel like I'm supposed to.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: What what do you think, Darren?
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, you're right.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: We got burned last week by saying the USC line is weird.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: The uh old miss is the underdog.
- 41:23SPEAKER_00: Like we got burned because somebody knew something we don't.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: And so I am so tempted to to eat that worm on a hook and say BYU minus only six and a half.
- 41:34SPEAKER_00: Are you kidding me?
- 41:37SPEAKER_00: But we are playing in TCU and somebody knows something that I don't, so stay away is fine.
- 41:43SPEAKER_00: Let's just stay away.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: Let's just stay away.
- 41:44SPEAKER_01: But I am just intellectually curious.
- 41:46SPEAKER_01: Why is this like if this game, like if BYU loses this game, it's gonna change it's gonna change the complexity of the Big 12 entirely.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: Because TCU, we kind of left for dead.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: They've lost twice now, I think, already.
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: So BYU, we think is a go ahead.
- 41:58SPEAKER_00: 2CU just went to UCF and lost a relatively close one.
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: And so they're a little bit against better.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: Against UCF's backup, but still.
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: Gosh, that's weird.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:11SPEAKER_02: Our Harvard transfer, Jaden Craig, put up 310 yards, no touchdowns, two interceptions against UC.
- 42:19SPEAKER_01: I also think Sonny Dykes is coaching for his job.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Speaking of, we were talking about hot we were talking about hot seat coaches previously.
- 42:24SPEAKER_01: He's on the list.
- 42:25SPEAKER_01: He's got to be somewhere on that list.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: Um number 19, just ahead of Bill Vemberti.
- 42:29SPEAKER_02: Behind Brett Venables at Oklahoma.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: I think he I think he's in backs against the wall survival mode.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: So like that could be tricky.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: And and like my my big knock on BYU is like, while I think their defense is good, and I love LJ Martin, and I think Bear Bachmeyer's a good game manager.
- 42:44SPEAKER_01: I don't think they're explosive.
- 42:45SPEAKER_01: And I don't think they're in a we're behind how do we score 14 points quickly?
- 42:49SPEAKER_01: And if they find themselves trapped, if they find themselves down 10 to 16 third quarter, I'm I'm worried.
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: I'm real worried.
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: So I'm I'm thinking stay away.
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: Sounds good.
- 43:01SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 43:01SPEAKER_02: Let's travel to middle America.
- 43:03SPEAKER_02: Well, Omaha's right near Lincoln, somewhere in Middle America.
- 43:07SPEAKER_02: Maryland, a team that we've watched two weeks in a row, poor play against Virginia Tech.
- 43:12SPEAKER_02: I think they just got destroyed by UCLA.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: They are going to Nebraska.
- 43:15SPEAKER_02: They are taking on the Corn Oscars, 4 p.m.
- 43:18SPEAKER_02: on Saturday on Fox Sports 1.
- 43:20SPEAKER_02: Guys, the analysts are loving Nebraska right now.
- 43:23SPEAKER_02: I haven't spent much time watching them, but what are your thoughts here?
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: I want to lay them.
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: I want to lay him with the I want to lay him at home, Nebraska.
- 43:31SPEAKER_01: Maryland, another coach, quit watch.
- 43:33SPEAKER_01: This is a team that is not playing.
- 43:35SPEAKER_01: I love Jamal Rule, that freshman running back they have.
- 43:37SPEAKER_01: Anthony Calandria fits what they're doing pretty well.
- 43:40SPEAKER_01: Their offense has been pretty productive and their defense has been solid.
- 43:44SPEAKER_01: I've got, I'm not sure Nebraska's going to compete for a Big Ten championship this year.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure they're, I'm not sure they're a contender by any means, but I know Maryland isn't.
- 43:52SPEAKER_01: And I think Maryland is going into a very hostile place in Lincoln.
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: And I think they're seeing a Nebraska team that is really wants to get some wins.
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: And I think they're seeing I think it's a blood-in-the-water situation.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: I think they I think Maryland knows that their goose is about cooked.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: Their coach is about to be fired.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: I like Malik Washington.
- 44:11SPEAKER_01: That's about it.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: I want to lay them.
- 44:13SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm I'm all I'm all Huskers here.
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: But I've done that plenty of times on this show before and been terribly wrong.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: So what do you think?
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think Layham too.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: Nebraska is ready to score points.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: They are four and oh.
- 44:25SPEAKER_00: They scored 31 and 34 the last couple weeks.
- 44:29SPEAKER_00: Against good teams?
- 44:30SPEAKER_00: Against Michigan State.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: Michigan State three cupcakes, and then Michigan State, they beat 31 to 13.
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: So that's They covered 18 points there.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:42SPEAKER_01: So North Dakota is one of the better, one of the better FCS schools, but yeah, still FCS.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: Nebraska minus 14.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: Sounds great.
- 44:49SPEAKER_01: I just don't think what are you betting on if you bet on Maryland?
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, what what do you like?
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: What do you like about Maryland?
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: They've gotten they I mean, they gave up 35 to Virginia Tech.
- 44:57SPEAKER_01: They got absolutely annihilated by UCLA.
- 45:00SPEAKER_01: And UCLA is a similar team to Nebraska in a lot of ways.
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: They've got a quarterback and a running back who likes to tuck it with their legs and move the ball.
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: And you're playing again in Lincoln.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: Tell me how Mike Loxley, who's on his last leg, gonna get his team up in that stadium in Lincoln on that flight for a game here.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: I think this is just an awful, awful, awful spot for the Maryland Terpins.
- 45:23SPEAKER_01: Lock it in.
- 45:25SPEAKER_01: Lock it in.
- 45:25SPEAKER_01: Okay, we're doing Nebraska.
- 45:27SPEAKER_02: All right, so now we're gonna stay in the Big Ten, and the Michigan Wolverines are going to Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers at noon on Saturday on Fox.
- 45:37SPEAKER_02: That stout Michigan defense.
- 45:40SPEAKER_02: They looked good against Iowa.
- 45:43SPEAKER_02: I think they're just gonna destroy Minnesota.
- 45:46SPEAKER_02: What are your thoughts here, guys?
- 45:50SPEAKER_01: I think Jason Beck has figured out what Bryce Hunterwood does well.
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: And they're just gonna run the bejesus out of him.
- 45:55SPEAKER_01: That's that's that's where they've I mean he threw for 275 on ill on Iowa, which was great.
- 46:00SPEAKER_01: It was a great pass performance.
- 46:01SPEAKER_01: He also ran the ball a ton, and I think they've figured out that that's what he wants to do and what he's gonna do well.
- 46:06SPEAKER_01: At the same time, Drake Lindsay's like not a bad, not a bad quarterback.
- 46:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, Jason, did you see oh my god, what's the PJ Fleck?
- 46:14SPEAKER_01: Do you see PJ Fleck wipe the blood of his player off on his face?
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: They just went my point about my point about Minnesota.
- 46:21SPEAKER_01: Minnesota just went flew to flew to flew to Washington and got a win.
- 46:25SPEAKER_01: That's not easy to do.
- 46:26SPEAKER_01: I know Washington's bad.
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: Something's going wrong there, but that's a tough trip.
- 46:30SPEAKER_01: Um, Minnesota is plucky.
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: I think Michigan's gonna win.
- 46:35SPEAKER_01: I think they're gonna cover.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: Total's kind of low at 43 and a half.
- 46:41SPEAKER_01: And let I'm feeling I'm thinking stay away unless you guys feel strong.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: I don't have a I don't have a strong read on this one.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 46:47SPEAKER_00: I don't like the under.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: I think this under should be lower.
- 46:50SPEAKER_00: This might be your 13 to 12 game.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: Okay, I got a lot of running, and I think Minnesota is in this spot where they just had a big trip across the country, like you said, emotional win.
- 47:04SPEAKER_00: Um, everybody's talking about them a little bit, emotions are boiling a little bit.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: I think it's a classic kind of a letdown spot where they're at a pinnacle on Monday, um, but at halftime on Saturday, they're like, oh my god, what do we do?
- 47:18SPEAKER_00: What do we do?
- 47:21SPEAKER_01: 43 and a half is just a low number.
- 47:23SPEAKER_01: Go ahead.
- 47:23SPEAKER_01: Sorry, Mark.
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 47:26SPEAKER_02: I'm not feeling it.
- 47:28SPEAKER_02: I thought Michigan looked good.
- 47:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they didn't.
- 47:32SPEAKER_01: I mean, honestly, well, one, the over hit last time.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: The over was 38 and a half, and the over did hit.
- 47:36SPEAKER_01: And two, think about how many failed drives there were.
- 47:39SPEAKER_01: There was a ridiculous interception on three-yard line, the fourth and goal inches that Underwood jumped and he should have passed.
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: Like, Michigan moved the ball.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: And against a defense that I think I think Iowa's got a some soundly better defense than Minnesota does.
- 47:54SPEAKER_01: My point, I think Michigan's gonna turn those drives into points.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: Might be three, but it's still gonna be points.
- 47:59SPEAKER_01: Like 43 and a half is 11 points a quarter.
- 48:02SPEAKER_01: That is low.
- 48:03SPEAKER_01: That is low.
- 48:04SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna I I I don't I I'm thinking stay away.
- 48:08SPEAKER_02: If all right, I we stay away from this one, but I want to look back at something we talked about a couple of weeks ago.
- 48:13SPEAKER_02: And I wasn't sure if it was the quick six or I think it was punter go for it.
- 48:16SPEAKER_02: And we said that Bryce Underwood was going to be benched, and I think he's gotten a little bit better each game he's played since the Western Michigan game.
- 48:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, you're absolutely right.
- 48:27SPEAKER_01: Especially again, the Iowa game, throwing for 275, that was unheard of.
- 48:30SPEAKER_01: After well, I think people were shocked by that.
- 48:33SPEAKER_01: So he's absolutely improving.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: And and his coaching, Jason Beck, his office coordinator, they is doing things.
- 48:39SPEAKER_01: I think they figured out what he wants to do.
- 48:40SPEAKER_01: So so I think to your point, I think what you're alluding to is you're you think think Bryce Hunter was gonna take another step this week.
- 48:47SPEAKER_01: And I think I think I agree.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: I think he might I don't know if it's gonna be this week, but I'm just saying I don't think it's in a position where they're gonna look to bench him anymore.
- 48:53SPEAKER_02: I'm not sure he's gonna take off, but I look back and there's like it was a time for him to step up, and he's taken at least a half step forward.
- 49:00SPEAKER_02: Guys, for our next game, let's stay in the Big Ten.
- 49:02SPEAKER_02: We're going back to Friday night.
- 49:04SPEAKER_02: Northwestern Wildcats are opening up a brand new stadium.
- 49:08SPEAKER_02: They're welcoming in the Penn State Nidney Lions 8 p.m.
- 49:11SPEAKER_02: Friday night on Fox.
- 49:13SPEAKER_02: Penn State's coming off a disastrous loss to Wisconsin.
- 49:17SPEAKER_02: Now they're going to Northwestern, who is actually looking decent.
- 49:21SPEAKER_02: They put up a great game against Indiana.
- 49:23SPEAKER_02: What is going to happen here in your mind?
- 49:28SPEAKER_01: I can't wait to see.
- 49:29SPEAKER_01: I cannot wait to see the new stadium on television.
- 49:31SPEAKER_01: I'm excited for the new Ryan Field.
- 49:33SPEAKER_01: Might be good.
- 49:34SPEAKER_01: Might be kind of good.
- 49:36SPEAKER_01: Penn State might be kind of bad.
- 49:37SPEAKER_01: It feels like here's here's I want to bet Northwestern.
- 49:40SPEAKER_01: I want to bet Northwestern.
- 49:41SPEAKER_01: That seems like the squarest, stupidest play ever to bet Northwestern to win, right?
- 49:47SPEAKER_01: Like all signs at home, new stadium.
- 49:51SPEAKER_01: Penn State just blew a most ridiculous loss to Wisconsin.
- 49:55SPEAKER_01: We all everyone's down on them.
- 49:59SPEAKER_01: Like, duh.
- 50:01SPEAKER_01: I want to bet Northwestern, but I actually think I actually think Penn State's gonna win.
- 50:05SPEAKER_01: I think Penn State's gonna win.
- 50:06SPEAKER_00: So yes, Penn State has everybody's attention for having lost.
- 50:11SPEAKER_00: But remember they were up 20 to 10 in the fourth quarter.
- 50:15SPEAKER_00: They gave that away more than they lost that game.
- 50:17SPEAKER_00: And so Penn State, Matt Campbell is actually a good team.
- 50:21SPEAKER_00: And so do we want to say Northwestern plus three at home?
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: Here's what I remember.
- 50:26SPEAKER_00: Last year, Kansas Jayhawks opened up a new stadium, and they had hype videos all week long, and it was awesome.
- 50:33SPEAKER_00: And the crowd pregame was going nuts, and Kansas blew somebody out of the water.
- 50:39SPEAKER_00: I don't know who it was, Arizona or somebody.
- 50:42SPEAKER_00: And they they were a two-point favorite and they won by 25 or something amazing because they open up the new stadium, and I have a lot of faith in that that sort of thing.
- 50:52SPEAKER_00: So Northwestern um with the same type of hype after having a pretty decent show last week against Indiana Hoosiers, they're gonna they're gonna have a lot of juice.
- 51:02SPEAKER_02: They beat Fresno State 31 to 7 to open.
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: Was that Kansas last year?
- 51:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: Fresno State.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 51:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, Chip Kelly, Aiden Childs, they're gonna have something.
- 51:15SPEAKER_01: All right, so we do you want to do you wanna do all right?
- 51:18SPEAKER_01: Fine.
- 51:18SPEAKER_01: If we're gonna you're you're talking me in back in Northwest.
- 51:20SPEAKER_01: I'll do it.
- 51:21SPEAKER_01: But can you can we can we tease it up a little bit?
- 51:23SPEAKER_01: Can you can we do Northwestern plus three and a half?
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: Can we get a field goal and a hook just in case they lose close?
- 51:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 51:30SPEAKER_02: I like that.
- 51:30SPEAKER_02: I like that.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: And lock it in.
- 51:33SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 51:34SPEAKER_00: I'm not I am not banging the drum too hard on that.
- 51:38SPEAKER_00: Should we look at the over-under at all before we move on that?
- 51:41SPEAKER_00: 48 and a half.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: What's are we thinking?
- 51:43SPEAKER_00: Points?
- 51:43SPEAKER_00: 48, 48 and a half.
- 51:45SPEAKER_00: Are we thinking points, points?
- 51:47SPEAKER_00: I like Aiden Chiles.
- 51:48SPEAKER_00: I like what they did.
- 51:49SPEAKER_00: Chip Kelly.
- 51:50SPEAKER_00: Are we thinking big points here?
- 51:52SPEAKER_00: Does Penn State have the capability to do that sort of thing?
- 51:55SPEAKER_01: I think Kobe Howard, their star receiver, still is still out, which makes me which which I don't love.
- 52:03SPEAKER_01: We all know who Robert Rocco Becht is.
- 52:04SPEAKER_01: He's a good, not great quarterback.
- 52:05SPEAKER_01: I don't think he's gonna lighten up the scoreboard, but he's not gonna hold them back.
- 52:09SPEAKER_01: I'd feel a lot better if they had Kobe Howard, though.
- 52:11SPEAKER_01: I don't know a lot about their playmakers outside of him.
- 52:14SPEAKER_00: And so that's Penn State's receiver, is that right?
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 52:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:17SPEAKER_00: Which speaks to our Northwestern plus three and a half.
- 52:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: I I think I'm I think I'm I think I'm feeling pretty good about Northwestern plus three and a half, unless you guys don't want to do it.
- 52:27SPEAKER_01: I almost want to stay away.
- 52:29SPEAKER_00: After I made my case.
- 52:30SPEAKER_00: So somebody flip a coin.
- 52:33SPEAKER_00: Mark, what do you think?
- 52:34SPEAKER_00: You decide.
- 52:35SPEAKER_02: I think we pass on the game.
- 52:36SPEAKER_02: We're too wishy-washy.
- 52:37SPEAKER_02: I want to win this week.
- 52:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:40SPEAKER_02: And unless you're both very confident.
- 52:42SPEAKER_01: We still have seven legs.
- 52:43SPEAKER_01: So we're you know, we're not exactly light on legs.
- 52:46SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 52:46SPEAKER_02: I want to win.
- 52:47SPEAKER_02: I want to win.
- 52:47SPEAKER_02: All right, let's guys, let's move over to the Pac-12.
- 52:50SPEAKER_02: Arizona Wildcats.
- 52:52SPEAKER_02: The Cincinnati Bearcats are coming to Arizona.
- 52:54SPEAKER_02: 11 p.m.
- 52:55SPEAKER_02: Saturday on Fox.
- 52:57SPEAKER_02: Offenses are equally close to each other.
- 52:59SPEAKER_02: Arizona's defense ranked 38th.
- 53:01SPEAKER_02: Cincinnati's defense, 63.
- 53:03SPEAKER_02: Last I saw Arizona was favored by seven at home.
- 53:07SPEAKER_02: What are your thoughts on this game?
- 53:10SPEAKER_01: Cincinnati is 4-0.
- 53:12SPEAKER_01: They're rushing for 275 yards a game.
- 53:16SPEAKER_01: They are just going bonkers on the ground.
- 53:20SPEAKER_01: I love me.
- 53:21SPEAKER_01: I put this, I put this on the slate for one reason.
- 53:23SPEAKER_01: I want to bet on Cincinnati plus seven and a half.
- 53:26SPEAKER_01: I get a touchdown and a hook at Arizona.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: I like Noah Fita.
- 53:30SPEAKER_01: He's very good.
- 53:31SPEAKER_01: I think he's great.
- 53:32SPEAKER_01: I don't, but I don't think Arizona has a lot of defense.
- 53:34SPEAKER_01: And this rushing attack is just crazy.
- 53:36SPEAKER_01: So I really like Cincinnati getting more than a touchdown in that spot.
- 53:42SPEAKER_01: 1030 night game be a night, be a it would be a late, late game.
- 53:46SPEAKER_01: What do y'all think?
- 53:47SPEAKER_00: This is at Arizona.
- 53:48SPEAKER_00: They're flying west.
- 53:49SPEAKER_00: This is their first away game.
- 53:51SPEAKER_00: They've played four at home.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: And so for what it's worth, the Cincinnati Bearcats have played four at home, which is probably inflating their stats nicely.
- 54:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: Well, really, I mean DC Western Carolina.
- 54:07SPEAKER_01: They beat Kansas State.
- 54:08SPEAKER_01: Kansas State down a bunch of starters.
- 54:09SPEAKER_01: They beat Kansas State.
- 54:10SPEAKER_01: Kansas they hit a bunch, and but Kansas State was down some starters near offensive line, but they beat Kansas State.
- 54:14SPEAKER_01: Kansas who I think is pretty good, Colin Klein.
- 54:17SPEAKER_01: And they in the Kansas State game, Kansas State has a better defense.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: And they have a better defense than Kansas State has a better has a better defense than I think Arizona does.
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: I think.
- 54:29SPEAKER_01: I think that's true.
- 54:29SPEAKER_02: I'd be really right against that one up.
- 54:31SPEAKER_02: I'll look back you up.
- 54:33SPEAKER_00: I could look at the over here.
- 54:34SPEAKER_00: I think we got two good offenses, and the defense is not so much.
- 54:39SPEAKER_00: So I'm thinking points.
- 54:40SPEAKER_00: It's a 54 and a half.
- 54:42SPEAKER_00: That's very doable.
- 54:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:44SPEAKER_02: Kansas State's defense ranked 37.
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, if we like who's Kansas State's defense is ranked 37.
- 54:52SPEAKER_02: Arizona's defense is ranked 38.
- 54:55SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 54:56SPEAKER_01: I told you.
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: That was I was I was right, but just by a smidge.
- 54:59SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Same defense.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Um yeah.
- 55:02SPEAKER_01: Okay, same defenses.
- 55:03SPEAKER_01: Fine.
- 55:03SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm also good with the over 55 and a half.
- 55:06SPEAKER_01: That's good.
- 55:07SPEAKER_01: I'm down for that too.
- 55:10SPEAKER_02: All right, lock it in.
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 55:12SPEAKER_02: Alright, one final game.
- 55:13SPEAKER_02: We have Baylor going to Arizona State.
- 55:15SPEAKER_02: This is also Saturday night.
- 55:16SPEAKER_02: It's a late night game.
- 55:17SPEAKER_02: 10:30 p.m.
- 55:18SPEAKER_02: on ESPN.
- 55:20SPEAKER_02: Baylor.
- 55:20SPEAKER_02: Is DJ Lagway?
- 55:22SPEAKER_02: How's he looked the last two weeks?
- 55:23SPEAKER_02: Baylor's not been on the ring.
- 55:25SPEAKER_01: Is he healthy?
- 55:25SPEAKER_01: Is he playing?
- 55:26SPEAKER_01: Keep going.
- 55:26SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 55:27SPEAKER_02: Is his ankle gonna be there?
- 55:28SPEAKER_02: Baylor's offense is ranked 56th overall.
- 55:31SPEAKER_02: Arizona State 80.
- 55:33SPEAKER_02: I've not been impressed with Arizona State.
- 55:34SPEAKER_02: I didn't like what they looked like in London.
- 55:37SPEAKER_02: I remember a game earlier.
- 55:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's the Texas AM game.
- 55:40SPEAKER_02: I didn't really like what I saw out of them.
- 55:41SPEAKER_02: Baylor's defense is 32nd.
- 55:43SPEAKER_02: Arizona State is 46.
- 55:45SPEAKER_02: Last I saw Arizona State favored by four.
- 55:49SPEAKER_00: Love Arizona State here.
- 55:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 55:52SPEAKER_00: They're coming off a bye.
- 55:54SPEAKER_01: Coming off a bye?
- 55:55SPEAKER_01: I'm thinking, oh, I missed that.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: And they're getting him at home.
- 55:58SPEAKER_01: Like what do we think Baylor's what do you what do we think Baylor's going to bring on the road that's going to be tough?
- 56:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 56:04SPEAKER_00: I think we've seen.
- 56:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 56:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, they slowed down.
- 56:08SPEAKER_01: Baylor had a good defense against Auburn.
- 56:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, who else is going to be able to do that?
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: That's not saying much.
- 56:13SPEAKER_02: But that was Auburn, a brand new team.
- 56:15SPEAKER_02: Everybody was new.
- 56:17SPEAKER_02: They were just getting their feet wet.
- 56:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, they LaTeX has a terrible offense.
- 56:21SPEAKER_01: Good defense, terrible offense.
- 56:23SPEAKER_01: I'm not even going to talk about beating Colorado.
- 56:24SPEAKER_01: Only scoring 23 points on Colorado, holding Colorado to 13.
- 56:29SPEAKER_01: That's not a prairie view.
- 56:30SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know that Baylor.
- 56:31SPEAKER_01: I don't think Baylor's good at anything.
- 56:33SPEAKER_01: I don't think Baylor's good at anything.
- 56:34SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm sad about that.
- 56:35SPEAKER_01: I love Dave Aranda.
- 56:36SPEAKER_01: He was a former LSC defensive coordinator in 2019 Cinderella run.
- 56:40SPEAKER_01: But I I I think he's also going to get fired.
- 56:43SPEAKER_01: I think he also might be on close up watch.
- 56:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's clearly on the list.
- 56:47SPEAKER_01: I'm all Arizona State.
- 56:48SPEAKER_01: I'm all Reed Harris.
- 56:49SPEAKER_01: I'm all Cutter Bowley.
- 56:51SPEAKER_01: I'm all Kenny Dillingham coming off a bye.
- 56:54SPEAKER_01: All signs for me point to Sun Devils doing work and just rolling.
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: Rolling Baylor.
- 56:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think the three and one record for the Baylor Bears is a farce as well.
- 57:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:05SPEAKER_00: They beat Colorado, and Colorado sucks.
- 57:08SPEAKER_00: Colorado could have won that game.
- 57:10SPEAKER_00: So yeah, Baylor's a farce.
- 57:14SPEAKER_00: Aranda's on the hot seat list.
- 57:15SPEAKER_00: People are nervous and talking about it.
- 57:17SPEAKER_00: So they're not in a good spot.
- 57:19SPEAKER_00: They're going to a team who's playing at home, coming off a bye week.
- 57:22SPEAKER_00: So go Sun Devils.
- 57:24SPEAKER_00: Alrighty.
- 57:25SPEAKER_00: How many is that though?
- 57:27SPEAKER_01: Is that eight?
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: We're at nine now.
- 57:29SPEAKER_02: I'm going to split it up into two different ones.
- 57:31SPEAKER_02: I mean, obviously I'll take the nine because when we win, it's going to be awesome.
- 57:34SPEAKER_02: But I'm probably going to split this up into like a four and a five.
- 57:37SPEAKER_00: You know, to that to that point, can I say one more thing too?
- 57:40SPEAKER_00: We just said the last game we just did was Cincinnati, Arizona.
- 57:45SPEAKER_00: Spread a spread of 55 and a half.
- 57:47SPEAKER_00: If we're going to put that in an eight legger, let's put that under sorry, over 54 and a half.
- 57:54SPEAKER_00: Because that's kind of a it's more of a key number for than 55.
- 57:58SPEAKER_00: And so I like to massage a little point if you can.
- 58:01SPEAKER_00: It's six points over 49.
- 58:03SPEAKER_01: So let me let me see if I can find that alt total points.
- 58:06SPEAKER_01: You want so we're doing instead of over 55, we're doing over 54 here.
- 58:15SPEAKER_01: Yep, I did it.
- 58:16SPEAKER_01: I put it in.
- 58:17SPEAKER_01: We're still at nine legs.
- 58:19SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 58:20SPEAKER_01: Is that all of them, Mark?
- 58:21SPEAKER_01: That's every game we were gonna go.
- 58:24SPEAKER_01: All right, here we go.
- 58:25SPEAKER_01: Auburn, Tennessee, under 54 and a half.
- 58:27SPEAKER_01: Ohio State minus 14.5.
- 58:29SPEAKER_01: Alabama, Mississippi State over 16 and a half.
- 58:32SPEAKER_01: Florida, Missouri, over 56.5.
- 58:34SPEAKER_01: Uh Miami, Miami at Clemson, first half, under 24.5.
- 58:38SPEAKER_01: Kentucky Money Line at South Carolina.
- 58:41SPEAKER_01: Nebraska minus 14.5.
- 58:42SPEAKER_01: Arizona State minus four and a half and over 54.5 in Cincinnati, Arizona.
- 58:47SPEAKER_01: Nine legs,$10.
- 58:48SPEAKER_01: Bet wins you.
- 58:51SPEAKER_01: $3,556.
- 58:55SPEAKER_02: Man, I'm gonna be spending that money at 9 30 and hate myself at 2 in the morning.
- 58:59SPEAKER_02: Bang on Saturday.
- 59:00SPEAKER_02: Can't wait.
- 59:00SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 59:01SPEAKER_02: Can't wait.
- 59:02SPEAKER_02: Um I know that's the games we wanted to go through, but there's one thing I wanted to bring up.
- 59:05SPEAKER_02: I was looking at the Wyoming North Dakota State game since we have such a huge North Dakota State following.
- 59:11SPEAKER_02: Do you know how much tickets for on StubHub are for one ticket to the North Dakota State home game in Fargo this weekend?
- 59:20SPEAKER_02: 3.30 on Saturday on the CW.
- 59:24unknown: Yeah.
- 59:25SPEAKER_01: 50 bucks.
- 59:27SPEAKER_02: $250 is the cheapest ticket to the Fargo Dome.
- 59:32SPEAKER_02: Fargo Dome holds between$18,500 and 19,000 fans.
- 59:37SPEAKER_02: They are favored by 20 and a half.
- 59:39SPEAKER_02: They're gonna destroy Wyoming.
- 59:40SPEAKER_02: They have a cool, oh, some kind of graphite trophy that they're bringing out in this game that the winning team's gonna take with them.
- 59:47SPEAKER_02: But I was so surprised at how expensive it is to go to a game at North Dakota State and go to Iowa and see Ohio State, Iowa for like$247.
- 59:56SPEAKER_02: But it was more expensive to go to North Dakota State.
- 59:59SPEAKER_02: Dang.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_01: You'd love to see it.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_01: You love to see well supported, you love to see squad local squads supporting their team.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_01: And North Dakota State fans are Fargo.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_01: They are excited.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_01: Good for them.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_01: They're going to the playoffs this year.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_01: We've already talked about it.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_01: They're already in, so I'm I'm thrilled.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_01: I'm excited for that.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_02: I got a dream of seeing a game there in the next 24 months.
- 1:00:16unknown: Yeah.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_01: Lock lock to go.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_01: We're going.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_01: The mic blitz is going Fargo.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_01: We're gonna go.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_01: We're gonna go in November when it's negative 17 degrees up there, too.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_01: Let's do it.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_02: That's definitely an 18,000 seat stadium.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_02: Every seat has got to be awesome.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_02: And you're in a dome, it's loud.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_02: It's like arena football size stadium.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, dude.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that'd be great.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_02: That'd be great.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_02: That's all I had about North Dakota State.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_02: I was oh I'm gonna go back next time.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_00: After we win the 3K this weekend, those$250 tickets are not gonna feel so bad.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: And all of that's right.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_00: We'll win.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_02: We'll take a fan who wins.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_02: All of us will get a private jet.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_01: All right, folks.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_01: That is the yeah, I think we're done.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_01: Am I right?
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_01: Got them all?
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_02: I was gonna say, if we win the parlay, we're all going to be able to do that.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_01: Okay.
