As of Wednesday, October 29, 2025, Hurricane Melissa, the strongest storm on the planet this year,has devastated Jamaica and is approaching Cuba. The hurricane made landfall on Jamaica as a Category 5 storm before weakening to a Category 3 as it moved toward Cuba.
