- 2:32Speaker 3: It's Milly, good morning.
- 2:33Speaker 5: How are you money, Dave?
- 2:33Speaker 3: How are you big idea of wearing shorts in here?
- 2:35Speaker 3: You know you can't wear shorts around me?
- 2:37Speaker 5: Why is that not?
- 2:38Speaker 3: Because?
- 2:39Speaker 5: Oh that because yeah, well that I'm gonna.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Kill I'm not going to concentrate on anything.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Now.
- 2:44Speaker 5: You don't see them.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I saw them early when you came in.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Oh well, I know I should have actually worn long
- 2:49Speaker 5: pins today because we're going through some cool weather.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I love it. Do you like it?
- 2:53Speaker 2: Oh?
- 2:54Speaker 3: Forty eight degrees? When I left the house.
- 2:55Speaker 5: This morning, I loved It's like a dream come true.
- 2:58Speaker 5: This weekend, it's going to be ninety eight.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Y gonna say it's going to warm up substantially work
- 3:02Speaker 3: on my can. Yeah, well, there you go, there you go.
- 3:05Speaker 3: All right, So, how things going with you? I read
- 3:09Speaker 3: on your social media yesterday and your folks do a
- 3:11Speaker 3: great job on your social media.
- 3:13Speaker 5: That's a girl named well, she's not a girl, a woman,
- 3:16Speaker 5: Tiffany Grilly. She has such a gift for using the
- 3:21Speaker 5: English language. So pleased to have her part of my team.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Well, I was interested to see because she said that
- 3:27Speaker 3: there's some sort of an announcement that you're going to
- 3:29Speaker 3: be making.
- 3:30Speaker 5: I am going to make it? Is that later on
- 3:31Speaker 5: that it's not an announcement, I'm going to share something,
- 3:34Speaker 5: to share something with us. Yes, okay, but not right now.
- 3:37Speaker 3: That's what you're going to do, because you still tell
- 3:38Speaker 3: me you had something you want to do toward the
- 3:40Speaker 3: end of the segment. So you'll say that till then, yes,
- 3:42Speaker 3: of cowards the end. All right. Well, so how have
- 3:44Speaker 3: you been been busy lately?
- 3:46Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 3:47Speaker 5: We have, well, not always busy. Sometimes we're busier than others.
- 3:51Speaker 5: More and more people are beginning to realize that Shape
- 3:54Speaker 5: Shop moved from Patrick Street in twenty nineteen that we
- 3:59Speaker 5: are actually.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Takes a little time for to circulate, and that we.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Are actually on the west Side, actually at the beginning
- 4:06Speaker 5: of the West Side. We're just a block and a
- 4:09Speaker 5: half west of five Corners, and we hope more and
- 4:13Speaker 5: more people come because the exciting thing is everything we
- 4:17Speaker 5: make is fresh clean. You know, a lot of meats
- 4:20Speaker 5: that are processed and that you buy in the grocery
- 4:23Speaker 5: store have been found to have a contaminant called listeria,
- 4:29Speaker 5: which can kill you, and that is not in our
- 4:32Speaker 5: foods because nothing that we make is processed. Everything is fresh,
- 4:38Speaker 5: everything is natural, and we're not naturalists. I don't want
- 4:42Speaker 5: anybody to think that. But our food is clean. Even
- 4:45Speaker 5: our soups are made from scratch. So that's a lot
- 4:48Speaker 5: to be proud of. Especially today. We're going to start
- 4:51Speaker 5: selling our meats by the quarter pound and half pound,
- 4:55Speaker 5: so that if somebody wants to take it home and
- 4:57Speaker 5: make their own sandwich, they are or whatever they want
- 5:00Speaker 5: to do with it, make a salad or fix it up.
- 5:03Speaker 5: And our chicken, our turkey, our ham, our beef. It's
- 5:06Speaker 5: the real deal, and I'm very, very proud of that.
- 5:09Speaker 5: It's a greater expense to do that, but it's so
- 5:12Speaker 5: much safer and healthier and cleaner. And that's what I've
- 5:16Speaker 5: always been about as far as shape shop, and of
- 5:19Speaker 5: course the way that I eat and what I teach.
- 5:22Speaker 5: I teach the Mediterranean lifestyle, and it is now it's
- 5:27Speaker 5: all over the internet. Everybody's paying attention to it. And
- 5:31Speaker 5: doing Mediterranean simply means that you are honoring your body
- 5:36Speaker 5: by with by putting in good, wholesome, clean food. It's
- 5:40Speaker 5: not a big brain twister. By the way, Mediterranean eating
- 5:44Speaker 5: has been around for a very, very much.
- 5:46Speaker 3: That's what I was going to say, is because you
- 5:48Speaker 3: hear these diet fads over and over again, and you
- 5:51Speaker 3: name them. I mean, they've gone for me, and you've
- 5:54Speaker 3: been you've been through all of them. But this is
- 5:56Speaker 3: not something that suddenly somebody in the lab just came
- 5:58Speaker 3: up one day and said, you know, let's try this.
- 6:00Speaker 3: This has been you know, for you know, thousands of years.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Being a couple of weeks ago, a gentleman came to
- 6:06Speaker 5: visit me in my office at the store and he said,
- 6:09Speaker 5: you know, when he when he was growing up as
- 6:13Speaker 5: a child in Lebanon, you could just take milk and
- 6:16Speaker 5: he said, from that milk, we were able to make
- 6:19Speaker 5: five or six different cheeses, and if we kept them
- 6:22Speaker 5: in a cool, dry place, they were good forever. And
- 6:25Speaker 5: there that cheese was made without processing. Sometimes you pick
- 6:30Speaker 5: up a package of meat or something that you're going
- 6:33Speaker 5: to eat and you look at the ingredients and you
- 6:35Speaker 5: can't even pronounce the word because your mouth doesn't go
- 6:38Speaker 5: that way, nor can your brain process that word. And
- 6:42Speaker 5: yet we buy that product and we eat it, and
- 6:46Speaker 5: we are putting unknown stuff in our body.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Good rule of thumb is if you can't pronounce it,
- 6:51Speaker 3: don't eat it.
- 6:51Speaker 5: I love that, and I wish more people would adopt
- 6:54Speaker 5: that in expit.
- 6:54Speaker 3: But here's the thing, and I've talked about this in
- 6:56Speaker 3: the past. You know, you always hear all of these
- 6:58Speaker 3: stories about people say, what my you know, my grandpa
- 7:01Speaker 3: lived to be ninety five, and he did this, and
- 7:03Speaker 3: he did that and that. In many cases it's true.
- 7:06Speaker 3: But they also grew all their own stuff, and they
- 7:09Speaker 3: knew where it came from, yes, and so they had
- 7:12Speaker 3: even they didn't have a farn. Like my grandfather worked
- 7:14Speaker 3: in the coal mines all day and then he gardened
- 7:16Speaker 3: or farmed basically at night. Everything came from there.
- 7:20Speaker 5: And they canned everything.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't talk to Chris Lawrence, our outdoors guy.
- 7:25Speaker 3: He posted some pictures on social media of his canning
- 7:30Speaker 3: this past week, and he's a big canning guy. He
- 7:31Speaker 3: was cannon green beans and everything. And that stuff for
- 7:34Speaker 3: me is like comfort food.
- 7:35Speaker 5: You know, growing up, can it with sugar. I'm even happier.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Or put any any kind of lard into anything.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Do you want to tell the lard story?
- 7:45Speaker 5: Well, I just heard it when I arrived here at
- 7:47Speaker 5: the studio.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Let me tell you, Colonel Ron Hughes is always good
- 7:50Speaker 3: for a good story. Some ninety percent of them you
- 7:52Speaker 3: can't tell on the air.
- 7:53Speaker 5: This story comes from Colonel Ron.
- 7:56Speaker 3: But Colonel Ron stopped you and then I in the
- 7:59Speaker 3: hall and said he heard something somewhere where a guy
- 8:02Speaker 3: was talking about how lard was healthier for people. And
- 8:06Speaker 3: the reason was This guy's reasoning.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Was what because hold on to your hold onto your hats,
- 8:12Speaker 5: because the pig outside absorbs the vitamin D from the sun.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Therefore the pig is healthy, which means his lard is healthy.
- 8:23Speaker 5: And I don't think on radio I should say what
- 8:26Speaker 5: I said to Colonel Ron.
- 8:28Speaker 3: No, no, you can't because you'll get us both fired
- 8:30Speaker 3: and I'll be I'll be working.
- 8:31Speaker 5: I'm not going to say that, but not they're they're
- 8:33Speaker 5: a bigger lie. Has never been.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Told any any appearances of the food truck on a
- 8:41Speaker 3: summer story.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Tomorrow. Tomorrow we are invited to a Caldwell Garlow Insurance
- 8:47Speaker 5: over in South Charleston, and that agency is growing. I
- 8:53Speaker 5: think they were just another company joined them and I
- 8:56Speaker 5: think they have like fifty employees and they've requested our
- 9:00Speaker 5: food truck. Next week we're going to do something in
- 9:04Speaker 5: South Charleston. I think there's a sports relay for children
- 9:08Speaker 5: and we're going to be there for three days. So
- 9:10Speaker 5: I'm excited about that. Of course, you know Live on
- 9:13Speaker 5: the Levee is gone, the Stern Wheel Regatta is gone.
- 9:16Speaker 5: But we're available. If there is a group that would
- 9:19Speaker 5: like to have the Shape Shop food truck, please contact
- 9:23Speaker 5: Emily at the Shape Shop or myself. We'll be happy.
- 9:26Speaker 3: We're starting to get into the ball season now. People,
- 9:28Speaker 3: there's a lot of.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Things coming and we're excited to people love our food.
- 9:33Speaker 3: That's good. So I can tell you we had you
- 9:35Speaker 3: out at our great gas giveaway that we did last month.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Over day to the outlet, and it was it was
- 9:42Speaker 3: the hit I can tell you. I mean we had
- 9:45Speaker 3: we had some other vendors there as well, and everybody
- 9:47Speaker 3: you know, patronize them all, but man, there was there's
- 9:49Speaker 3: quite the line there. There was a gentleman, are you smoothie?
- 9:52Speaker 3: I think is what they because it was a jos
- 9:54Speaker 3: it was extremely hot that day.
- 9:55Speaker 5: There was a gentleman sitting in our lobby and I
- 9:58Speaker 5: walked out of my office and I said, good morning.
- 10:00Speaker 5: I said, has someone helped you? He said, I'm just
- 10:02Speaker 5: waiting on my strawberry banana smoothie. He says it's the
- 10:06Speaker 5: best thing he ever put in his mouth.
- 10:07Speaker 3: That's awesome. So it's talking to Billy Snyder from the
- 10:10Speaker 3: Shape shot the Dave Alan Show in five Any Live
- 10:12Speaker 3: Bright to You part by Morgan and Morgan, America's largest
- 10:14Speaker 3: injury law firm. If you're injured visit for the people
- 10:17Speaker 3: dot com. All right, let's talk about your classes that
- 10:19Speaker 3: you offer and and then a big finish because you
- 10:21Speaker 3: got something you want to tell us. Plet let's talk
- 10:23Speaker 3: to you. Let's talk about the class.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Okay, so Mediterranean and the name of my group is
- 10:28Speaker 5: fix it with foods, which makes the most amount of sense.
- 10:31Speaker 5: We want to eat everything and you'll eat better than
- 10:34Speaker 5: you've ever eaten when you live the Mediterranean lifestyle. We
- 10:38Speaker 5: meet Thursday morning and Saturday morning at nine fifteen. There
- 10:43Speaker 5: are very nominal fees involved, great information and not only
- 10:47Speaker 5: do we give information and personal instruction in how to
- 10:51Speaker 5: follow everything, but we give you health information and valuable
- 10:56Speaker 5: handouts every week, plus recipes. And I follow the same
- 11:01Speaker 5: weight Watcher model because group support is very important. There
- 11:05Speaker 5: are a lot of people say I can do it
- 11:07Speaker 5: on my own. I remember years ago when I owned
- 11:10Speaker 5: weight Watchers, a woman said to me, I'm on your program.
- 11:12Speaker 5: I said, great, what class do you go to? She said,
- 11:16Speaker 5: I don't. I just buy the dinners. And that's not
- 11:19Speaker 5: group support.
- 11:19Speaker 3: It's not you got to that. Any time that you're
- 11:21Speaker 3: wanting to do something like that, you know, whether it's
- 11:25Speaker 3: healthy eating or any anything that if you got you
- 11:28Speaker 3: got peers, You got people that are going to not
- 11:30Speaker 3: only hold you accountable, it's not that, but also people
- 11:33Speaker 3: to support you and to encourage you. And if you
- 11:35Speaker 3: do have you know, okay, slipped off the wagon a
- 11:37Speaker 3: little bit, people to kind of patch on a bank,
- 11:39Speaker 3: say it's okay. Sorry, it's not the end of the world,
- 11:41Speaker 3: you know, app just continue, all right? So what did
- 11:44Speaker 3: you want to leave us with this morning?
- 11:45Speaker 5: Okay? So I'm going to read this, okay, and I
- 11:48Speaker 5: do not know the source, but I hope you and
- 11:52Speaker 5: the listeners will enjoy it. Okay, Barely the day started,
- 11:57Speaker 5: and it's already six in the evening, barely arrived on Monday,
- 12:01Speaker 5: and it's already Friday, and the month is already over,
- 12:05Speaker 5: and the year is almost over, and already forty fifty
- 12:10Speaker 5: or sixty years of our lives have passed, and we
- 12:14Speaker 5: realize that we lost our parents, friends, and we realize
- 12:18Speaker 5: it's too late to go back. So let's try, despite everything,
- 12:23Speaker 5: to enjoy the remaining time. Let's keep looking for activities
- 12:28Speaker 5: that we like. Let's put some color in our gray.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Let's smile at the little things in life that put
- 12:34Speaker 5: balm in our hearts. And despite everything, we must continue
- 12:39Speaker 5: to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's
- 12:44Speaker 5: try to eliminate the afters. I'm doing it after, I'll
- 12:48Speaker 5: say after, I'll think about it. After. We leave everything
- 12:53Speaker 5: for later, like after is ours. Because what we don't
- 12:58Speaker 5: understand is that Afterwards, the coffee gets cold afterwards, Priorities
- 13:05Speaker 5: change afterwards, the charm is broken. Afterwards, health passes. Afterwards,
- 13:12Speaker 5: the kids grow up. Afterwards, parents get old. Afterwards, Promises
- 13:18Speaker 5: are broken. Afterwards, the day becomes the night. Afterwards, life ends.
- 13:24Speaker 5: And then it's often too late, So let's leave nothing
- 13:28Speaker 5: for later, because still waiting see you later, we can
- 13:32Speaker 5: lose the best moments, the best experiences, best friends, the
- 13:38Speaker 5: best family. The day is today, The moment is now.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Very well put. You have no idea where they came from.
- 13:46Speaker 5: None? Okay, Now, usually if I did know that, I
- 13:51Speaker 5: would happily share it, because you can't call something yours
- 13:56Speaker 5: if you didn't do it.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I had a quick text for you before we
- 13:59Speaker 3: let you go, So it's milk. Consider doing classes at
- 14:01Speaker 3: a later time that working people, young people or family
- 14:04Speaker 3: people could attend.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Well, if I had enough requests, of course, the answer
- 14:08Speaker 5: is yes. But you know I was doing one on Thursday,
- 14:12Speaker 5: late afternoon. But you know, sadly, and I say this
- 14:16Speaker 5: with sadness, truly, so many people are taking these injectable
- 14:20Speaker 5: weight loss drugs, and you know, as far as I know,
- 14:23Speaker 5: the stomach hasn't been moved from to your brain. And
- 14:28Speaker 5: that's just a fix.
- 14:29Speaker 3: It's not an education, and we're seeing a lot of
- 14:32Speaker 3: problems with that. Now. Millie gives the address of the
- 14:35Speaker 3: Shape Shop.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Seven six Central Avenue. It's right on the beginning of
- 14:40Speaker 5: the West side and we're easy to find.

- 14:48Speaker 5: eat heartily, and you must order the salmon salad or

- 18:36Speaker 3: c HS. We'll be doing the thing up there. We're
- 18:39Speaker 3: gonna be m scene tonight. Is there is there is
- 18:43Speaker 3: there any truth to the rumors that you and I
- 18:46Speaker 3: am seen led to the cell out tonight.
- 18:48Speaker 11: I believe so. People trying to get verification on that,
- 18:53Speaker 11: and probably has something to do with they heard that
- 18:56Speaker 11: we were going to try to fly the new helicopter.
- 18:59Speaker 3: We tried that. Once, we tried that. Once they didn't.
- 19:03Speaker 3: They didn't They didn't share in our in our humor.
- 19:05Speaker 3: But that's another story for another time. You can read
- 19:07Speaker 3: about it on the internet. I guess they just can't
- 19:09Speaker 3: find anybody else better because they're stuck with you and
- 19:11Speaker 3: I again worried.
- 19:12Speaker 11: But it's always a great event, and if you didn't
- 19:15Speaker 11: get tickets for it, we hope that you might consider
- 19:18Speaker 11: joining us next year and get them early. If you
- 19:21Speaker 11: did get your tickets, looking forward to seeing you tonight.
- 19:23Speaker 11: It's gonna be a great time.
- 19:24Speaker 3: It always is, and again this is the annual event
- 19:27Speaker 3: to raise money for the Big Green. There's so many
- 19:29Speaker 3: different parts of it. Marshall coaches are going to be there,
- 19:32Speaker 3: Marshall players, staff members of course that we're gonna band,
- 19:36Speaker 3: We're gonna have cheerleaders, we're gonna have dance team members.
- 19:40Speaker 3: And again this is a thing that everybody just comes
- 19:44Speaker 3: out for. Obviously because it's sold out. Three hundred and
- 19:46Speaker 3: fifty four hundred people are going to be there tonight.
- 19:49Speaker 3: But it's just a way you know and Marshall University
- 19:53Speaker 3: in a lot of people's eyes. You know, we play
- 19:56Speaker 3: this rivalry game all the time. You know, it's WVU,
- 19:58Speaker 3: it's Marshall and support both. I was at Inside the
- 20:01Speaker 3: Huddle with Kardia a couple of weeks ago, had a
- 20:03Speaker 3: great time raising money for the United Way. And what
- 20:06Speaker 3: I like seeing is a lot of people that are
- 20:08Speaker 3: going to be at this event tonight. We're also at
- 20:10Speaker 3: Inside the Huddle and we had it too, so you know,
- 20:13Speaker 3: you don't have to choose one or the other. They're
- 20:14Speaker 3: not actual rivals because they don't play in all of
- 20:18Speaker 3: the all of the sports. They just play in a few,
- 20:19Speaker 3: but you can you can support both.
- 20:21Speaker 11: It's nice that people and citizens kids have the opportunity
- 20:26Speaker 11: to stay in state to go to either school and
- 20:29Speaker 11: both schools. You know, if we can keep the kids here,
- 20:31Speaker 11: that's really.
- 20:32Speaker 3: The and and a lot of other schools in state,
- 20:35Speaker 3: and uh in Tech and Bridge Valley and you see,
- 20:38Speaker 3: and all the others that we have in the States
- 20:40Speaker 3: as well. Talking with Steve Animal, he and I will
- 20:42Speaker 3: be m seeing this big event tonight. So there's a
- 20:45Speaker 3: live auction. Yes, there's door prizes of all kinds. We
- 20:48Speaker 3: just have a lot of fun, all.
- 20:50Speaker 11: Sorts of good stuff, great food and of course just
- 20:53Speaker 11: you're going to run into a bunch of people, you know,
- 20:55Speaker 11: some we may owe money too.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Well. We are talking to rock and roll God over here,
- 21:01Speaker 3: so that's that's quite possibly yet.
- 21:03Speaker 11: But it is.
- 21:04Speaker 3: It's a great event. And having it up there. I
- 21:06Speaker 3: wasn't involved with it before they moved it up to
- 21:09Speaker 3: the bill No Flight School, I was. I know they
- 21:11Speaker 3: used to have it I think at Embassy in a
- 21:12Speaker 3: couple of other places, and it was always good there.
- 21:14Speaker 3: But there's something about having it up there. It is
- 21:17Speaker 3: that because they open up the doors and the weather's
- 21:19Speaker 3: going to be great, phenomenal, and it's a way to
- 21:22Speaker 3: show off what is one of the fastest growing learning
- 21:26Speaker 3: programs in higher education in the state, and that is
- 21:28Speaker 3: the aviation program at Marshall University.
- 21:30Speaker 11: Yeah, I was reading somewhere. I think they had another
- 21:32Speaker 11: sixty five plus kids apply for the program and we'll
- 21:37Speaker 11: be in it. So it's it's it's awesome, awesome opportunity.
- 21:42Speaker 11: If you've ever thought about flying, now's the time. Now's
- 21:46Speaker 11: the time for sure.
- 21:47Speaker 3: And somebody asked me yesterday they said that they had
- 21:50Speaker 3: tickets and they said, is this going to be a
- 21:52Speaker 3: serious sit down event? I said, you do realize that
- 21:55Speaker 3: Steve Animal and I are the MC's right.
- 21:57Speaker 11: Yeah, there's nothing serious about that.
- 21:59Speaker 3: But we have a good time.
- 22:00Speaker 11: We're seriously going to have a good time. Though, Like
- 22:02Speaker 11: I said, you're going to run into people. You know,
- 22:04Speaker 11: it's very pretty casual. A lot of people will be,
- 22:06Speaker 11: you know, coming right after work. But it was kind
- 22:09Speaker 11: of the pregame tailgate kind of mindset is what it's
- 22:14Speaker 11: always been about. So you know, come, come as you
- 22:16Speaker 11: are and it's going to be great.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Lots of great food. You don't have to dress up
- 22:20Speaker 3: or anything. Just come out in your Marshall gear and
- 22:22Speaker 3: get ready to cheer on the hurd. It's going to
- 22:23Speaker 3: be an interesting season I think for the Oh Steve Cotton,
- 22:25Speaker 3: by the way, the play by play voice of the
- 22:27Speaker 3: Thundering Herd is going to be there as well.
- 22:29Speaker 11: Love Steve Cotton. He does a great job of mediating
- 22:32Speaker 11: for us, to keep us separated.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Give us more time to head to the beer in
- 22:36Speaker 3: the dip ding.
- 22:38Speaker 11: Ding ding ding ding. You are correct, sir, But yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 11: it's it's all I've been involved with it, I think
- 22:44Speaker 11: almost ten years. I tried to hit the escape button
- 22:47Speaker 11: a couple of years ago, and then they dragged you and.
- 22:50Speaker 3: And well that was kind of it was kind of
- 22:51Speaker 3: funny the way that happened, because you said you wanted
- 22:53Speaker 3: to No, you know, I don't think to think people
- 22:56Speaker 3: realize how much how many things that Steve Animal does
- 23:00Speaker 3: out of the community in addition to the mount and
- 23:01Speaker 3: not all of it's court ordered. Some of it is
- 23:04Speaker 3: actually not court ordered. I mean, you run like five
- 23:07Speaker 3: different businesses, You're on every commission and every every everything
- 23:10Speaker 3: going on in St. Albans, which is where you call home.
- 23:13Speaker 3: And but you had kind of wanted to okay, I'm
- 23:16Speaker 3: just going to kind of back away and I'm gonna
- 23:17Speaker 3: bring Dave in and they kind of take over and
- 23:19Speaker 3: then we get on stage and it's like, no, we
- 23:22Speaker 3: got to have these two every year for some.
- 23:24Speaker 11: Reason, like wait a minute, wait, I'm holding the torch
- 23:27Speaker 11: to be passed. Here's the time. Run go go go.
- 23:30Speaker 11: But no, it's still a lot of fun today.
- 23:32Speaker 2: It is.
- 23:32Speaker 7: It is.
- 23:32Speaker 3: And if you don't have tickets, like I said, I apologize,
- 23:35Speaker 3: but well I don't apologize. It's a good thing. All
- 23:37Speaker 3: the tickets are gone.
- 23:37Speaker 11: Well we did our job. It was Yeah, tickets sold out.
- 23:41Speaker 3: And big shout out to the folks of ball Toyota
- 23:44Speaker 3: as well for being the title that so many other sponsors.
- 23:47Speaker 3: They're all available in the Marshall Quarterback Club at Charleston's
- 23:50Speaker 3: social media you can see all the other sponsors are.
- 23:52Speaker 3: I don't want to mention any because I may leave
- 23:54Speaker 3: some out and that'll get you in trouble and they
- 23:55Speaker 3: won't sponsor next year. But you know, if you can,
- 23:59Speaker 3: if you can find somebody that's got tickets, because again,
- 24:01Speaker 3: this thing is absolutely sold out. I mean there's not
- 24:05Speaker 3: a single ticket available for this thing.
- 24:06Speaker 11: And it's kind of neat to see some of the
- 24:09Speaker 11: new alumni show up at these events too, So it's
- 24:13Speaker 11: kind of just keeping keeping the flow going, if you will,
- 24:17Speaker 11: for everything that bleeds Green Gohrd.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Going to be a great night. We'll have a lot
- 24:21Speaker 3: of fun. You and I always have fun. We can
- 24:22Speaker 3: have fun at a funeral. Matter of fact, we have
- 24:23Speaker 3: had fun at funerals. There's actually documented proof we have
- 24:27Speaker 3: had fun at funerals. Doors open about six. We'll start
- 24:29Speaker 3: to show around six thirty or so. Plenty of great
- 24:31Speaker 3: food and drink. But again, we hope you got your
- 24:33Speaker 3: tickets because they are all gone. This city is going
- 24:38Speaker 3: to be Kelly Green in the whole airport area in downtown.
- 24:41Speaker 3: I mean it's the mayor is going to be there
- 24:42Speaker 3: because one of the mayor's offspring plays in the Marshall band,
- 24:46Speaker 3: I think, and so that it'll be cool to have
- 24:47Speaker 3: her there as well. Steve Cotton's going to be there,
- 24:50Speaker 3: the herd coaches, herd players, cheerleaders, band members. It's going
- 24:53Speaker 3: to be a big old party tonight up on the hill.
- 24:55Speaker 11: Yeah, and I guess I need to go home and
- 24:58Speaker 11: change out of this. I should show two.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I mean, well, it's not it's not Saturday, so I
- 25:02Speaker 3: don't know why you'd want to.
- 25:04Speaker 11: I'm going to be around people, all right, Yeah.
- 25:06Speaker 3: All right, Steve, I know you got things to do, buddy.
- 25:08Speaker 3: I will let you go. I appreciate things going well
- 25:10Speaker 3: on the mountain.
- 25:11Speaker 11: They are doing very well. I had a great morning.
- 25:14Speaker 11: I always love when I have the opportunity to give
- 25:17Speaker 11: away breakfast tutors Biscuit World, one of my main sponsors.
- 25:22Speaker 11: The guy who actually called this morning to win. It
- 25:24Speaker 11: was kind of funny. It's like, good morning the Mountains,
- 25:26Speaker 11: like what's up?
- 25:27Speaker 3: What's nineteen ninety five all over again.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:33Speaker 3: That's the thing about classic rock radio, and I've done
- 25:35Speaker 3: it at another station, and I'm also happy to help
- 25:38Speaker 3: out on the mountain as well as the audience tends
- 25:40Speaker 3: to be a little bit different.
- 25:41Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean we're more laid back and more you know,
- 25:44Speaker 11: we're here for the ride. Let's play some rock and
- 25:46Speaker 11: roll and you know, give away some free stuff and
- 25:48Speaker 11: you know, go do something fun while we still can.
- 25:51Speaker 3: And you can check the check out the legendary Steve

- 31:27Speaker 3: the governor's ongoing and additional financial issues. Updated since yesterday.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Updated in the last hour. I think that's with Brad.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Chris Steierwaltz also won the show today. Fred Albert, the
- 31:37Speaker 3: President of the American Federation of Teachers on the show
- 31:41Speaker 3: today and Northern Dave, Dave Wilson and to talk about
- 31:44Speaker 3: the ongoing homeless issues and they got some major ones
- 31:48Speaker 3: in Morgantown right now. It's been battled back and forth
- 31:50Speaker 3: Morgantown City Council. Dave has been all over the story.
- 31:53Speaker 3: He is and we can relate to those things in
- 31:54Speaker 3: Charleston too, But what's going on in Morgantown right now
- 31:57Speaker 3: makes Charleston's issues seem small. Believe me. And Dave will
- 32:01Speaker 3: talk about the hobby coming up at I think I
- 32:03Speaker 3: think he's in the first segment coming up at ten
- 32:05Speaker 3: oh six, all coming up with hobby at ten o six. Hey,
- 32:08Speaker 3: look who's here. It's Greg Thomas. Gregorrow.
- 32:11Speaker 14: No, no, no, but stacking it.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Back Greg Thomas.
- 32:14Speaker 2: No no, no.
- 32:15Speaker 3: I got confused because I had a text air a
- 32:17Speaker 3: back Greg Thomas. So hold that thought. That's fun, Tex says,
- 32:19Speaker 3: oh boy, ask Greg Thomas to tell us about the
- 32:22Speaker 3: dark money donors to West Virginia Citizens against lawsuit abuse.
- 32:25Speaker 3: He always hides the filthy money he gets. I said
- 32:28Speaker 3: this because Thomas is on the show tomorrow, and that's
- 32:31Speaker 3: just wrong.
- 32:31Speaker 14: It's a C six it's a membership organization, like a
- 32:34Speaker 14: five oh one C four.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Deal with it.
- 32:35Speaker 14: You can't see the donors. It's not a C three.
- 32:37Speaker 14: It's not a political campaign. It's a five oh one
- 32:39Speaker 14: C six.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Grow up, all right, you're you're defending Greg Thomas.
- 32:44Speaker 14: I'm defending C six's and I'm defending America.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Mostly that was me. That was me giving the salute.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Rob Cornelius is here, Hey man, how you doing.
- 32:53Speaker 14: I'm glad to be here to decide you a good
- 32:54Speaker 14: time to do it. And I know you didn't have
- 32:56Speaker 14: any vails next week, but I thought i'd be a
- 32:58Speaker 14: big good time.
- 32:59Speaker 3: I've got a veil next week. But they all have
- 33:00Speaker 3: an umbrella in them. That's my veils for next week.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Couple of things with the governor. Actually we'll just spend
- 33:07Speaker 3: the next five hours talking about the governor. Republican candidate
- 33:10Speaker 3: for Senate Jim Justice. State Democratic Party and chair Mike
- 33:15Speaker 3: Pushkin yesterday out with the statement calling for Jim Justice
- 33:18Speaker 3: to drop out of the Senate race. Your thoughts, Rob,
- 33:22Speaker 3: because you know, we all know he isn't going to
- 33:24Speaker 3: do that, and it's mainly just lip service from Pushkin,
- 33:26Speaker 3: which is not uncommon don't get me wrong. The Republicans
- 33:28Speaker 3: in many cases have done so.
- 33:30Speaker 14: I mean when we were losers, we sent out press
- 33:32Speaker 14: releases every day at the Republican Party hoping to get
- 33:35Speaker 14: someone's attention or careb through about twenty ten.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and now it's kind of the opposite.
- 33:39Speaker 14: Yeah, I mean, they're they're they're irrelevant. They're down whatever
- 33:42Speaker 14: ninety three seven or something of my House thirty one
- 33:44Speaker 14: to three in the Senate. Both are going to get worse.
- 33:46Speaker 14: Here's a big picture.
- 33:47Speaker 3: And Knawc County is now a red county.
- 33:50Speaker 14: Yeah, by plurality, And that's the thing. The Republican counties
- 33:52Speaker 14: might polarity. What forty four forty five, Now we're down
- 33:55Speaker 14: to like just eight or ten left that our I
- 33:56Speaker 14: remember being here when there it was the other way,
- 33:58Speaker 14: it was like forty eight seven or something. Look, look
- 34:01Speaker 14: for Pushkin. That's actually the smartest thing he can say.
- 34:03Speaker 4: One.
- 34:03Speaker 14: You know, he won't do it, and he shouldn't do it.
- 34:06Speaker 14: And you know, I've had differences with the governor, you know,
- 34:08Speaker 14: just minor wins over the years, as you may know.
- 34:11Speaker 14: But what yeah, I know this is new information for everyone.
- 34:13Speaker 14: But look, here's the thing. He can't leave the ballot
- 34:16Speaker 14: right now. If he leaves the ballot, according to State
- 34:19Speaker 14: Law three five nineteen and the Code. I'm not an attorney,
- 34:22Speaker 14: but it will tell you the Republicans will not be
- 34:24Speaker 14: able to replace on the ballot from last week, last
- 34:27Speaker 14: Tuesday forward unless he dies, and only then in the
- 34:31Speaker 14: final you know, you have up till the twenty five
- 34:32Speaker 14: day limits, twenty five days out from the novemb election.
- 34:34Speaker 14: So literally you're stuck with Jim justph. If you have
- 34:36Speaker 14: a Republican in the Senate seat, no matter what he
- 34:38Speaker 14: does in the next seventy six days or whatever, you
- 34:41Speaker 14: have to vote for him. And then there will be
- 34:43Speaker 14: appointments and we'll take care of what the temporary and
- 34:45Speaker 14: there'll be an election. But if you want a Republican Senator,
- 34:48Speaker 14: you must vote for Hold your nose, Jim Justice.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Period. What are your thoughts on all of the governor's
- 34:54Speaker 3: financial issues, because here's the thing, here's what I said
- 34:57Speaker 3: on yesterday's show. I don't know whether you heard it
- 34:58Speaker 3: or not, what I said on the yesterday show. When
- 35:00Speaker 3: you talk and Hoppy touch on this a little bit too.
- 35:02Speaker 3: You talk about owing carter banks, and you can talk
- 35:04Speaker 3: about Okay, it's just it's kind of like what you're
- 35:06Speaker 3: in our sports such. It's kind of like when a
- 35:08Speaker 3: Major League Baseball player signs a fifty million dollars deal.
- 35:10Speaker 3: It's like, Okay, you signed a deal. We can't relate
- 35:12Speaker 3: to that, and most people can't relate to owing that
- 35:15Speaker 3: kind of money. However, when it looks like that within
- 35:18Speaker 3: a week or two, there's a very real possibility that
- 35:20Speaker 3: employees at the Greenbrier are not going to have health insurance.
- 35:24Speaker 3: That's a very real possibility. Then you start to get
- 35:28Speaker 3: people's attention. Oh crap, I can relate to this.
- 35:30Speaker 14: Yeah, it gets pretty granular when your work either is
- 35:33Speaker 14: not paying your health care or is not sending the
- 35:36Speaker 14: FEDS some money they own for Fiker, for Social Security, Medicare,
- 35:39Speaker 14: all those things. And here's the thing, you know, I've
- 35:42Speaker 14: just recently been talking to Hoppy about this because frankly,
- 35:45Speaker 14: he wasn't interested for the last eight years. The media
- 35:48Speaker 14: in the state didn't care about this issue much for
- 35:51Speaker 14: the last eight years. All these issues were there, different numbers,
- 35:54Speaker 14: different lenders, but all very public. In twenty fifteen, sixteen,
- 35:58Speaker 14: seventeen twenty, when there were elections or you were near elections,
- 36:01Speaker 14: and nobody's taken notice of it now until.
- 36:03Speaker 3: It's a little unfair, don't you think I don't think.
- 36:05Speaker 14: They want to take it seriously? I mean, part of
- 36:06Speaker 14: what I would blame on the Republican gubernatorial campaign in
- 36:09Speaker 14: twenty sixteen Bill Cole didn't beat him about the head
- 36:11Speaker 14: with it, did not, and that was a failure on
- 36:14Speaker 14: the Republican Party's part.
- 36:15Speaker 3: The people of West Virginia though, And I've had this
- 36:17Speaker 3: argument with Pushkin, and he'll tell you I didn't support
- 36:20Speaker 3: Jim Josce's and knowing Mike, I think he probably didn't
- 36:22Speaker 3: support him when he was a Democrat. He probably did not.
- 36:25Speaker 3: But you know, these problems have been out there rob
- 36:29Speaker 3: for years whatever. Anybody that deals in the coal industry,
- 36:33Speaker 3: which I'm very close to, knows that. Anybody that does
- 36:36Speaker 3: a lot in Greenbrier County, which I have done in
- 36:38Speaker 3: various positions in my life, various jobs I've had, I've
- 36:41Speaker 3: spent a lot of time in Green Broer County, they
- 36:43Speaker 3: all know that. And now it's suddenly and maybe it's
- 36:46Speaker 3: just because it's more visible now, maybe it's out it's
- 36:51Speaker 3: out there a little bit more.
- 36:52Speaker 14: It's public and people didn't want to push it or
- 36:54Speaker 14: go to quarter or do public things back then maybe
- 36:56Speaker 14: look to make it more granular.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Here's the deal.
- 36:58Speaker 14: This is a guy who between he and his companies
- 37:01Speaker 14: and his daughter and his son or all the other
- 37:03Speaker 14: debtors here that what we can find in public record,
- 37:06Speaker 14: he is in debt one point three billion dollars with
- 37:09Speaker 14: a b thirteen hundred million dollars. My guess is probably
- 37:13Speaker 14: a couple hundred million more out there, and things that
- 37:15Speaker 14: are not entered in courts, not entered UCC filings, not public.
- 37:19Speaker 14: But this is a guy that's basically owes people a
- 37:21Speaker 14: billion and a half dollars and he can't pay anything.
- 37:25Speaker 14: And he just to look at the most recent one,
- 37:26Speaker 14: most recent clipping and got from Brad and Happy yesterday
- 37:29Speaker 14: barred thirty five million in paycheck protection pandemic loans from
- 37:34Speaker 14: Marshall Reynolds Bank. Marshall Reynolds, the guy who lives in
- 37:36Speaker 14: hunting and starts banks. His son run one of the
- 37:38Speaker 14: guys run the Gazette. Now they loaned him thirty five
- 37:41Speaker 14: million bucks. Hasn't paid a cent of it, not a
- 37:44Speaker 14: penny of interest, not a penny of principle, nothing, and
- 37:46Speaker 14: that's a guy who's been a friend. Jim Justice has
- 37:48Speaker 14: been on Marshall Reynolds bank boards for years and you
- 37:51Speaker 14: can't even pay that guy.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's uh, it's I just I don't know, and
- 37:56Speaker 3: I'm really surprised. And I know West Virginia in the
- 37:59Speaker 3: big picture things, Rob, when it comes to the nation,
- 38:02Speaker 3: everybody's focused on the presidential election. They're focused on a
- 38:04Speaker 3: couple of other races in other states. The West Virginia
- 38:07Speaker 3: race is not really out there as much close because
- 38:10Speaker 3: well and because there's not if Mansion we're running. I
- 38:13Speaker 3: think I think there would be more attention on it
- 38:15Speaker 3: because the national media loves Joe Manchin. I don't think,
- 38:18Speaker 3: but they. I mean, the Wall Street Journal has done
- 38:19Speaker 3: article after article on this. Other outlets have. It just
- 38:23Speaker 3: doesn't seem to stick. And again with Jim Justice, Rob,
- 38:25Speaker 3: you're talking about a governor but still is one of
- 38:27Speaker 3: the four or five most popular governors anywhere in the country.
- 38:30Speaker 3: He's ranked to depending on what survey you look at,
- 38:32Speaker 3: about number three or four in the country. As far
- 38:35Speaker 3: as the popular people still love him.
- 38:37Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 38:37Speaker 14: Morning Consult does that poll frequently, and he's up around sixty.
- 38:40Speaker 14: His low was back in twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen, down
- 38:43Speaker 14: in the forties, so he's rehabilitated his image since then
- 38:46Speaker 14: in the long time. Yeah, and the dog and the
- 38:47Speaker 14: dog goes, the dog goes a long way. Speaking of
- 38:50Speaker 14: dog and dogs and dog therapy, here's one sign they're
- 38:53Speaker 14: batting down the hatches. And I think hiding. You know,
- 38:56Speaker 14: his wife's been going out to all these schools and
- 38:58Speaker 14: whatever the last several weeks, doing these therapy presentations. We're
- 39:01Speaker 14: giving Doddridge County a dog. Stuff like that wasn't on
- 39:04Speaker 14: the one yesterday, and my guess is we're not going
- 39:07Speaker 14: to see her again for a whiles. I think they're
- 39:08Speaker 14: afraid of interviewer questions. I think they're afraid of uh,
- 39:12Speaker 14: you know, subpoenas and process being served on people when
- 39:14Speaker 14: they go out in public. Because she's on the hook
- 39:16Speaker 14: for a lot.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Of this stuff too. What do you think of the
- 39:19Speaker 3: way the governor's what I would call adversarial, at least
- 39:22Speaker 3: somewhat adversarial relationship with the press. It's not just us,
- 39:26Speaker 3: I mean he and Brad. You know, he's basically just
- 39:27Speaker 3: stopped taking Brad's questions and and I and I've never
- 39:32Speaker 3: agreed in my life with Phil Kabler on anything, but
- 39:35Speaker 3: I would say what Cabler said. It has called him
- 39:37Speaker 3: a couple of weeks ago, and that is maybe the
- 39:40Speaker 3: press should stop to start boycotting these and not showing up.
- 39:43Speaker 14: Well, Phil cablere stopped clocking geor it's but good for
- 39:46Speaker 14: him for saying that. And again, these press avails the
- 39:48Speaker 14: last couple of years are are fake. They're controlled, they're
- 39:51Speaker 14: over video. You can't get him in person, and I
- 39:53Speaker 14: don't think anyone's actually tried to like put a camera
- 39:54Speaker 14: in his face, you know, out another event. And that's
- 39:57Speaker 14: what's going to start happening now. Freedom cam, even from
- 39:59Speaker 14: our arm media locally is gonna have to start hitting
- 40:01Speaker 14: him and ask him questions where he's uncomfortable, whether it's
- 40:04Speaker 14: the Hardy is in you know, in Greenbrier County or what.
- 40:06Speaker 14: But people want answers, and they're gonna want a lot
- 40:09Speaker 14: of answers if the Greenbrier is sold or something in
- 40:12Speaker 14: court date Friday morning to see if they can they
- 40:15Speaker 14: can stop. I think they do stop the suit. And
- 40:16Speaker 14: the more important thing is this JP Morgan thing is
- 40:19Speaker 14: probably nue to everybody. This last round of money the
- 40:21Speaker 14: bigger deals Carter and between Carter and JP Morgan, he
- 40:25Speaker 14: owes four hundred million dollars and that's all attached to Greenbrier.
- 40:27Speaker 14: So you got to say to yourself, we sell the
- 40:28Speaker 14: Green Brier, what are we gonna get out of it?
- 40:30Speaker 14: And can be four h a million dollars?
- 40:31Speaker 3: Hoppy in today's commentary, Hoppy kerchable and he's posted on
- 40:34Speaker 3: our website wv metronews dot com. He's calling for the
- 40:37Speaker 3: governor to sell.
- 40:37Speaker 11: The Green Briers.
- 40:38Speaker 14: It's not up to Jim to sell the Greenbrier. Everyone
- 40:40Speaker 14: has leans against it. It's up to Carter Bank in
- 40:42Speaker 14: JP Morgan to figure it out and make the first sale.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Forda money he was seen. That's such a hero. When
- 40:46Speaker 3: he came in as the West Virginia guy. You know
- 40:49Speaker 3: that saved the Green Roar.
- 40:50Speaker 14: Basically he bought a loser in that. If you go
- 40:52Speaker 14: to the Greenbrier bankruptcy filings before he bought it or
- 40:54Speaker 14: acquired it's CSX lost ninety one million dollars in the
- 40:58Speaker 14: five years preceding eighteen million dollars. You're running it, I'm
- 41:01Speaker 14: not sure a business genius. I'm not sure Donald Trump
- 41:05Speaker 14: could run the Greenbriar, Mad, did you have to go there?
- 41:07Speaker 3: I know you just hate that.
- 41:08Speaker 11: I do, I do.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Tex says, how could someone get a security clarence with
- 41:13Speaker 3: a one point three billion dollars in debt? Are we
- 41:15Speaker 3: going to have a useless senator from the start?
- 41:17Speaker 14: I mean, I can't imagine he spends much time in
- 41:19Speaker 14: DC period. His health won't allow it.
- 41:20Speaker 3: I don't think. I don't think he's going to be
- 41:21Speaker 3: there at all. Tex says, Rob thinks Jim is the
- 41:24Speaker 3: best person for Senate. Even with Jim's debts and an
- 41:26Speaker 3: ability to get security clearance, Rob will still vote for
- 41:29Speaker 3: Jim Justice.
- 41:30Speaker 14: I'm not going to. But I'm suggesting to the voters here,
- 41:32Speaker 14: if you want a Republican member of the US Senate.
- 41:35Speaker 3: You have so vote for the letter, not the guys.
- 41:37Speaker 14: I understand that if he is out, he will be
- 41:40Speaker 14: replaced by Republicans, you know, trust and love, all right.
- 41:43Speaker 3: So, I mean, look, he's running in this race against
- 41:46Speaker 3: Glenn Elliott.
- 41:47Speaker 14: You be running against anybody, mayor mayor of Wheeling.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Is very nice, seems like he's been on this show.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Seems like a very very no chance in hell of winning.
- 41:55Speaker 14: Yeah, he's out doing a lot of performative doors in
- 41:56Speaker 14: front of TV cameras. I'll go to your town. The
- 41:58Speaker 14: TV reporter at comes out and sees you for fifteen
- 42:00Speaker 14: minutes and sees you a couple of doors and then leave.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Looks like those effort Texas Dave when Jim Justice ran
- 42:05Speaker 3: for Governor's the Democrat Danny Jones when he had the
- 42:07Speaker 3: radio programs bringing it up, but nobody wanted to talk
- 42:10Speaker 3: about it. And now it's a big issue. Somebody brought
- 42:13Speaker 3: that up to me earlier about Danny's talking about the uh.
- 42:16Speaker 14: He shared a lot of time on it. He had
- 42:17Speaker 14: me on a lot, which has probably drove some of that.
- 42:20Speaker 14: And he and I hearn in lunch today we can
- 42:21Speaker 14: conference on that.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Okay. Now, so where does what do you and Danny
- 42:23Speaker 3: go to lunch?
- 42:24Speaker 14: I may want to go, uh west Side. He's really
- 42:26Speaker 14: been into the smokehouse the last six months.
- 42:28Speaker 3: I have another appearance I have to make today, sir,
- 42:31Speaker 3: So you and.

- 45:35Speaker 3: five zero zero. Right, Rob Cornelius is here. What else
- 45:38Speaker 3: are you watching? In West Virginia politics. It's going to
- 45:40Speaker 3: be a kind of a woe home election as far
- 45:42Speaker 3: as the general goes in November.
- 45:44Speaker 14: Yeah, I mean really boring. There's really not a whole
- 45:46Speaker 14: lot of influx. Your question would be like these seats
- 45:48Speaker 14: on the very edge in the State House and State Senate, ginde,
- 45:51Speaker 14: the Republicans get to ninety one, ninety three, ninety five
- 45:53Speaker 14: in the House out of one hundred and and the Senate. Now,
- 45:56Speaker 14: obviously the news has been different than Chandler swape thing
- 45:58Speaker 14: out of outa mingo that came its goot resolved in
- 46:00Speaker 14: the last last few days or last week, but the
- 46:03Speaker 14: numbers weren't there to flip that, so that'd still be
- 46:05Speaker 14: a Republican Democrats nominated guy from the largest county from Mercer.
- 46:09Speaker 14: Now that swopes out so logically that'll make closer than
- 46:12Speaker 14: it needs to be.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Yeah, he was a I think the Chamber of Commerce
- 46:15Speaker 3: director down there.
- 46:15Speaker 14: After, right, someone who looks like you know, they like
- 46:18Speaker 14: America and you might work for a bank or something.
- 46:20Speaker 14: Someone who looks normal as opposed to like, you know, blue.
- 46:23Speaker 11: Hair or something.
- 46:24Speaker 3: I mean, you know you got a probably blue hair.
- 46:26Speaker 14: I mean it works for some people. You got the
- 46:28Speaker 14: right skin for it.
- 46:29Speaker 3: I got you, I got you. Uh so uh A
- 46:32Speaker 3: look a bit locally? Do you keep up a look?
- 46:34Speaker 3: Because I know you're all over the place as far
- 46:36Speaker 3: as your travels go and your and your other things
- 46:38Speaker 3: that you do in your in your life. But it's
- 46:40Speaker 3: county commission race in Kanawa County. I think could be
- 46:43Speaker 3: very interesting between Walters and Tenant. I really do.
- 46:46Speaker 14: I think it could be. I think I was even before,
- 46:50Speaker 14: even with Carper's nonsense, I was surprised how well natally
- 46:53Speaker 14: get as people remember her, more more more fondly than
- 46:56Speaker 14: I than I thought. But again we've gone top this.
- 47:00Speaker 14: What is what pulls the whole thing? If you're down ballot,
- 47:02Speaker 14: you're basically going to be a victim or a recipient
- 47:05Speaker 14: of whatever goes on the top. So if if Trump
- 47:07Speaker 14: and Justice are pulling a huge number here, it obviously
- 47:10Speaker 14: excwots the Republican and the Republican plorality. Now, Kanaha County,
- 47:12Speaker 14: this is not the same Kanala County. I don't know
- 47:14Speaker 14: where D's honestly hold on outside of you know, downtown Wheeling,
- 47:17Speaker 14: downtown Morgantown, downtown Huntington.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right about that. But Dave Allan showing five
- 47:21Speaker 3: Any Live brought to you part by Husband's Pizza this
- 47:23Speaker 3: month that your favorite Husband's get a large jten Nitch
- 47:25Speaker 3: Pepperoni pizza and an eight inch chocolate chip cookie for
- 47:28Speaker 3: twenty three ninety nine, been watching any of the DNC it.
- 47:31Speaker 14: Though, uh the first night, a little bit last night
- 47:33Speaker 14: and I watched with the sound down on Fox while
- 47:35Speaker 14: I had baseball up on the other Look, it's it's
- 47:38Speaker 14: not it's it's for the It's for the people who
- 47:40Speaker 14: watch like all nine hours of wrestling every week, the
- 47:42Speaker 14: ones that are super super duper into it. If you're
- 47:45Speaker 14: just you know, just a casual, you're.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Not gonna be talking about my producer Jeff Pettick.
- 47:48Speaker 14: I would do the same thing too, because again, all
- 47:50Speaker 14: I watch is reruns of wrestling from nine eighty seven. Ay,
- 47:53Speaker 14: maybe some UWF I don't know. But here's the here's
- 47:57Speaker 14: the deal with with with all that, What's the one
- 47:59Speaker 14: moment that came out last night that anybody remembers who
- 48:01Speaker 14: thinks it's important. What's the one tweet you saw this morning,
- 48:04Speaker 14: the one news hit you saw maybe Obama calling Trump terrible?
- 48:07Speaker 14: But I mean, did you see anything interesting? Did anyone
- 48:09Speaker 14: really anything really draws it draw you to it?
- 48:11Speaker 3: I thought no, And and uh, I think I watched.
- 48:14Speaker 3: I watched so far a lot more of the Republican
- 48:17Speaker 3: National Convention than I did the demmer. But I will
- 48:18Speaker 3: say one of the more bizarre things that I've seen
- 48:22Speaker 3: is the role call of states. Last night. They had
- 48:24Speaker 3: a DJ uh that was, you know, playing the music.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Of course he wasn't really playing the music, but it
- 48:30Speaker 3: was all stage, but anyway, he was up there, and
- 48:32Speaker 3: they playing a different song for every state that came out,
- 48:37Speaker 3: And I'm just sitting and thinking, Okay, what are they
- 48:39Speaker 3: going to do when they get to I mean, with
- 48:40Speaker 3: all due respect, what they going to do when they
- 48:41Speaker 3: get to Nebraska. I mean, is there a song about
- 48:44Speaker 3: other than the Bruce Springsteen album Nebraska? Is there anything
- 48:47Speaker 3: and that that's a deeper cut.
- 48:48Speaker 14: Maybe Runs of the fast food chain in Nebraska has
- 48:51Speaker 14: has has a song I'm not aware of.
- 48:53Speaker 3: It just seemed to be bizarre. Now, of course, you
- 48:55Speaker 3: know what West Virginia. You know it's country Roads. I
- 48:56Speaker 3: mean you know that that that's that's it.
- 48:58Speaker 14: That's too easy, That's that's Bob Denver's greatest.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Hit, John Denver. It's all the same, it's all the same. Well, anyway,
- 49:05Speaker 3: I watched it. I'm seeing on TV now that there's
- 49:08Speaker 3: a possibility RFK Jr.
- 49:10Speaker 14: Is going to drop it endors. Yeah, that was just
- 49:12Speaker 14: some of the alternative conservative media was big into that
- 49:14Speaker 14: yesterday and Alex Jones in the Gang and I think
- 49:18Speaker 14: that if that goes that way, that's great. Basically, you're
- 49:20Speaker 14: congealing all your independence and non Democrats out there between elon,
- 49:26Speaker 14: RFK Junior and obviously Big Don Tex.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Says Jim is too unhealthy to be in DC regularly.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Jim is to in debt to get a security clients.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Jim is going to be a useless senator. From day one.
- 49:35Speaker 3: But vote Republican to have a Republican, because that's what
- 49:38Speaker 3: a good stooge does. I thought Republicans were about the
- 49:41Speaker 3: best person for the job. No they're not. Neither are
- 49:44Speaker 3: Democrats about the best person for the job.
- 49:46Speaker 14: I'm about winning, and I love winning, and we try
- 49:48Speaker 14: to do a lot of winning here. So get in
- 49:50Speaker 14: your mind and then getting the mind of your representatives
- 49:52Speaker 14: and your new governor and all that. Who you'd like
- 49:54Speaker 14: to be the next senator as whenever you're in the
- 49:56Speaker 14: business of hiring your athletics director, have a list of
- 49:58Speaker 14: your next five coaches. Everybody's getting their head. Have a
- 50:01Speaker 14: list and we'll reconvene on this soon enough.

- 50:17Speaker 3: you don't know can hurt you. One of the things
- 50:18Speaker 3: about Trump I thought was very interesting is you know,
- 50:21Speaker 3: look his base, Rob is going to vote for him.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Nothing I mean, short of killing a kitten on national television,
- 50:28Speaker 3: and they don't care. They're still going to vote for
- 50:30Speaker 3: him because it's a cult. I'm talking about the people
- 50:32Speaker 3: I don't care. I'll call it what it is. It's
- 50:33Speaker 3: cult that people. I'm not talking about people that are
- 50:36Speaker 3: voting for Trump. I'm talking about people that look in
- 50:39Speaker 3: their eyes, they're not all there, not the average voters
- 50:43Speaker 3: for Trump. I'm talking about the people that just live
- 50:45Speaker 3: for Donald Trump. That's what I'm talking about, two different people.
- 50:48Speaker 3: He's got them in the bag already. As you would expect,
- 50:51Speaker 3: Trump has to have independent voters and in some cases undecided. Okay,
- 50:56Speaker 3: he's doing absolutely nothing, in my opinion, to try to
- 50:59Speaker 3: court them. All he's doing at these things. He was
- 51:01Speaker 3: doing good for a while, but as I was talking
- 51:03Speaker 3: to a buddy of ours yesterday who said Trump is
- 51:05Speaker 3: going to be Trump, and then he kind of went
- 51:06Speaker 3: off the deep end. Now he's talking abou Kamala Harris's appearance.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Now he's talking about all these other things that don't
- 51:12Speaker 3: mean anything to anybody other than it makes him feel good,
- 51:16Speaker 3: energizes his basement. Doesn't do a single thing to try
- 51:19Speaker 3: to get these independence in let US polls from ABC
- 51:21Speaker 3: in Washington Post say that Kamala Harris is beating Trump
- 51:25Speaker 3: an Independence by eleven percentage points.
- 51:27Speaker 14: Go to the gambling markets. Trump just we went back
- 51:30Speaker 14: up as a favorite last night minus one fifteen, minus
- 51:32Speaker 14: one twenty. That means he's the favorite. He was minus
- 51:34Speaker 14: two hundred right.
- 51:35Speaker 3: After he got shot.
- 51:37Speaker 14: Big picture for Trump, what's the number one issue for
- 51:39Speaker 14: independence and alleged undecided? Is there earned any It's its
- 51:42Speaker 14: jobs and economy. Just get back on that. You're fine,
- 51:45Speaker 14: I mean, but he's not going to do that. Yes
- 51:47Speaker 14: he will, No, he won't. He won't do We're seventy
- 51:50Speaker 14: we're seventy six days now. This is a this all
- 51:51Speaker 14: irrelevant fluff. What we're doing. Wait until the end of
- 51:54Speaker 14: the week, DNC. Make sure they're locked down. They're stuck
- 51:56Speaker 14: with her doing roll out the video where she's like
- 51:58Speaker 14: that church with Obama where they said America, we're gonna
- 52:02Speaker 14: crush her. All right, she's done. Okay, she's the worst
