- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Well, thank you, Steve and Jeff Show band, for bringing us in to the show.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: And Jeff, what a great time to be back in the studio.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Weekend's over now.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Hey, do you have a do you have a good weekend?
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: My weekends are all the same because I've got my grandkids, you know.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: And there was a time when we had our grandkids where we would do cool things like go to the museum and go see plays and stuff.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Well, and when when they were too little to know what you were doing.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: No, that's great.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: You get to do all kinds of stuff.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: It's when they start paying attention that, oh, then you got to do the kids.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So now we just watch TV.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: Pretty much, yeah.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Which is, you know, and sometimes I watch it with them.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: I just watched um something on the Disney Channel.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: I was disappointed, Steve.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: I mean, they let kids watch anything.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Well, actually, the truth is I let my kids watch anything.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: But um, but yeah, I thought I found something.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, whatever.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: It's there.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: You know, don't get hung up with pronouns.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: You know, you're not you're not magging.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Don't worry about pronouns.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Okay, right.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I was disappointed.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: I thought, you know, I looked it up and rotten cucumbers or something, and you know, they said it was okay for kids, so I didn't I didn't think it was a bad idea, but it was kind of bad.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: They do have all kinds of strange things on the Disney channel now that you mention it.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: But what happened?
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: What went wrong?
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: The movie was about a murder.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: I guess this guy and his wife, who's or the wife killed him, I don't know exactly what, you know, but it was there was a murder, and I think both of them died, the husband and wife, and they left their son who was physically disabled.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: In a weird turn of events, his son gets kidnapped, and the dad is not really dead, and then he comes back, and the son's kidnappers are involved, and there's another.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Oh, this is uh Liam Neeson was in this.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I saw this.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: It was called uh Shaken.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: No, it was called uh Bacon.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: No, it was yeah, I I've seen all of those.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: This one was called Finding Nemo.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: I think oh I'm not sure.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: I think maybe the father's name was Nemo, or maybe the the kid's name was Nemo, or maybe they were watching TV at the time of the murder and they were watching Finding Nemo.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: I don't exactly know, but they're watching 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, or that's right, but it was quite an education.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: So what about you?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: That's really too bad.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Your grandchildren were subjected to that.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: But I gotta tell you, with all the media, uh, all these these you know, yes, we have a record number of channels, record number of streaming channels, but they're all being bought up by friends of you know, you know who, and they're all becoming born-again magas, you know, and that's I wonder if that's all gonna change when media becomes great again.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Well, it's probably started to get better now that Colbert is off the air, right?
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Because just bringing everybody down.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: And Barry Weiss is taking all that news out of end of CBS News and Oh, 60 Minutes.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: I mean that was uh I mean I don't know what that was.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Okay, there was yes, it's a news show, but there was way too much news.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: We really need bullshit.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: And she's really bringing the bullshit, you know, and I I did we gotta hand it to her for that.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: The only sad part is is Maury safer gonna be able to find a job?
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: That would be my big concern.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Mike Wallace, you know, he's I don't know.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's funny, you know, but you know, he's got the kid now.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Is it little Chrissy?
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, little Chrissy, yeah.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Chrissy might be able to get him a job now, you know.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: That could be is it fair that we have our eight-year-olds stay up till midnight watching shows like Convicts Unsheathed or whatever that was called?
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Finding Nemo.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: That's what it was.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Is that fair?
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: They're they're staying up late, they're watching Violent Things.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: I think you've made a really good point, and maybe I should think about that next time I let them stay up late and watch violent things.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it used to be the good old days.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Remember the king?
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: You know, he became famous.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's hard to forget, yeah.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, The Apprentice, I think was the name of it.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, wait, no, the apprentice, yeah.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: That was yeah, and and I think he was it a group, was he by himself, or did he have a panel of men that judged women and and other young men?
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, I think he was part of a few panels that judged you know, women and men, from what I have read.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, apparently uh, you know, they judged them both.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: But and did it take place on an island?
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: I don't remember.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: It was like it was like one of those, like the bachelor thing, you know, like DePlain, De Plain, boss.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, one of those, yeah.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: One of those, yeah.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Literally Fantasy Island, yeah.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: So, anyways, and I know it should have won a bunch of awards.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: I don't know how many it really won, but that was the Salad days.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: And that's how America realized that he was so competent because he could pretend to be an executive on a pretend reality show.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, what more do you need?
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Thinking about TV, I mean, should the unspeakable happen?
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: And we actually have elections in the future, and our king is retired with those elections, you know, he's gonna need something to do.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, oh well, in those rare times that he's awake.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, he does spend 90% of his waking hours asleep, so there is that.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: That'll take up a bunch of time, but those times when he's awake, 3, 3 30 in the morning, he's gonna need something to do.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: I mean, you can only cheat on golf so much, you know, the country or his wives or whoever, whatever.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: And he only has one wife to cheat on.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so how many times can you cheat on?
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Do we know of?
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: And she's that's right, and she's a movie star.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Well, that's what I hear.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: She'll be busy.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: I I've heard she has some other jobs too, but I but I digress.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, on any of those jobs.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Maybe once he's out of the White House, if he's ever out of the White House, uh he should go back to his roots, you know.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Not not I'm not talking the white roots.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Uh roots will still be orange, but uh although some uh would say that he will always go back to his white roots, if you know what I mean.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: But I hear he's gonna be heavily involved in TV and movie programming with that movie star wife that he's got now, you know.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Or she's proving that anyone can be a movie star, as long as they've got Jeff Bezos' money, they can make as many movies as they want.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: You know, maybe he'll go back to acting and take all of his cadre with him, and all these people that are infecting the administration.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: And I'm looking forward to it because you know I'm kind of retired, so I spend a lot of time watching TV and movies, and you know, and so I I you guys can become friends.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Hey, I I think so.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: It would kind of the new orange age.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Orange is the new orange, like they say, you know.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: And I saw something on I think it was in the Washington Post.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: You know the Washington Post used to be a newspaper?
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: You know, I've heard that.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: I I vaguely remember they had something to do with oh gosh, what was it called?
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: It was where a president committed like one crime.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: One crime.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Oh they were testing the waters, you know, committed one crime.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: And they had something, oh gosh, it has something to do with some like a river or something, water or something like that.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I don't remember the I heard the post had a big role in that, but boy, you'd never guess that now, would you?
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: No.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: And so I heard that maybe there's going to be a made-for-tv movie or and that there's a list of movies and TV shows that the the king is looking to get involved in, since he basically sort of owns all the networks by way of all of his friends.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: And well, um, and they posted a list.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Those he doesn't own, he'll, I'm sure they'll kow toe to him and write him a check for whatever he wants to do.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: Sure, and there's always another movie Melania has to make, and he could he could sleep and fill his diaper for two hours and they pay him you know a hundred million for that, probably.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, no, they love him.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: John Waters, the director, I think when he got started, he did Smellavision, yeah, which was right with Smell Evision, yes.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: You scratch off the like a lottery ticket thing and it's a smell.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: I think that the the king probably could do something like that.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure people could stick around to smell it.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Oh, I you know, I think he'd be a prime candidate for that.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it's time to bring that technology back, you know.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: I think so too.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: So, anyways, yeah, so I uh there's a whole bunch of stuff that's gonna be coming down the pike, and maybe we ought to go over that.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: Because I I heard there's this whole list of shows that he is considering that is that are are on offer to him because basically everybody's hitting their knees and sending the money because they oh, don't review my licensing, don't let some Brendan carried no no, he's gonna say mean things about me.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Don't do that.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so they're all sending him millions of dollars.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: So I think we should go over this list, and I think we should you know, maybe give some opinions on, oh, that one sounds good, or oh no, I'd pass on that one, I'd go with the other one, you know.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: The interesting thing about this list, I noticed these are either the exact names or very similar names of formerly successful shows, but they just were missing something.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: They had a flaw in them that they were not starring the king, of course.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Well, and let's face it, if the king was still it was involved, they'd still be running today.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: Oh, they'd still be going, yes.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: You know, they would not have been failures, as the king would say.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: You know, we would have never seen anything like it.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: Do you want me to start here?
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: I think there's a it looks like TV shows.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, go ahead.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: He's he's getting involved in that.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: That's probably the low-hanging fruit for him because oh, yeah.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: Well, the apprentice that's where he revived himself.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: That's exactly right.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: That's why he is where he is, is thankful television.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: So I see three TV shows.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, these are all three, I guess four, maybe.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: Two of them are my favorites.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: It takes a thief.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: That Robert Wagner's a looker.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's a perfect one.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: I mean, I had a chance once a long time ago to go out with Robert or Bob, as he as he would call me.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: Um, he invited me out on his boat.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: And you know, I turned him down because uh yeah, I get a little seasick, but you think?
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I wouldn't go.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't go if I were you.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: But anyways, it starts.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, you're probably right.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: Uh but anyways, it takes a thief.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: And in this new version, starring the king, I think in this is probably the same theme, except I'm not sure he's stealing for good reasons in this.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: I think he's just stealing.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, yeah, he's stealing because the Supreme Court said he could.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Well, exactly right.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: They said, steal away, buddy.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: You are above the law.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: And he'll always be above the law.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter if he's still president or not.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Lifetime pass to the polo grounds, as Tony Curtis might have said.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: But I digress.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: I really digress.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: Boy, if you know that reference, you're a film fan.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: And if you know the voting reference, then yeah, you may know Christopher Walken.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: So uh the second one was Family Affair.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: This one will be fascinating.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, talk about you know, I know he's against abortion, but it's pretty close to an abortion when you get all the Trump kids together and it's it's you know, it it makes the argument harder, you know.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: It really does.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: And I hear Lindsey Graham is is plays Mr.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: French.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: And uh or French Kiss.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Mr.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: French Kiss, I guess is what he is.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's a nauseating thought.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: Lindsey Graham, French Kiss in the same sentence.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well he's and the sentence isn't I would never French kissy.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: That's not the sentence, and they're in the same sentence.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: It's like that's true.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: No, I no, I can't, I just can't.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: And then the other two are the FBI and the and uh the Justice Squad, which um I didn't know was a TV show, but the FBI, you know, those are both uh those should be good.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: I think they're comedies actually.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: So they're sitcoms, yeah.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: Like Hogan's Heroes, kind of uh the theme.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: You know, the the wacky the wacky FBI director comes in drunk and they all pretend to fight crime and then they go after somebody the king doesn't like.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's just uh hilarious.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's funny, but you know, it's kind of the same joke over and over again.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Uh what what stood out for you?
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: I saw some real stand-ups on this list.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: First one, kind of the obvious choice, talk about low-hanging fruit, they're bringing back the apprentice.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: It's coming back with a slight twist, though.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Uh, it's gonna be our king running through defense lawyer after defense lawyer, trying to find one who will lie for him 24-7 and not want to get paid.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: Now I gotta see that.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: Every week he's firing a new lawyer.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: It's so cool.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: You just you you gotta watch.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: You gotta watch.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: And then that is great.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Now there's another one.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, hopefully he can be on more than one show because so many of these are good.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: I hope it's not limited to just one.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Another one, breaking bad laws.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Each week, the show is just the king.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: Kind of like the July 4th thing, it's gonna be just him.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: And each show, each week, he does a one-hour monologue about how unfair the law has been to him.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: All he did was break it and they went after him and they convicted him.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine?
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: That's so unfair.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: It is unfair.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: I saw an interview with his son, Donald Jr., who wanted to be on that show because he heard that it was about a science teacher selling meth.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, you know, and he just he thought maybe that would be something that would be up his alley, you know, because he was the science at one point or his nose.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: I guess he was disappointed that that wasn't quite the theme.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Don Jr.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: would really be typecast for that.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: I they're probably looking spin-offs, so that that's a possibility.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Maybe not right away, but that's a possibility.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: Another great one, the East Wing.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love that show.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: I know that sounds like it's just gonna be an hour of dead air every week, right?
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: Oh no, East Wing, it's one of those fix it or listed shows.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Uh and you know, they've already started the rehab, so after that bunker ballroom is built, I bet the resale value of the White House is gonna go way up.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Here's a good one too.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: It's curb your extremism.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: It's a wild farce where JD is the president and he finds a new scapegoat for his failures each week.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: His attempts to be alpha male bring hilarity to DC.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: I'm just I'm reading the review here.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: His attempts to be alpha male bring hilarity to DC.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: It's sponsored by Lazy Boy, I understand.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Oh, oh, that's which makes sense, yeah.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: And then, oh, here's a classic one, all in the family.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: Ah, like that show too.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Uh groundbreaking.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Well, this one, it's again with a twist.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: This is actually a prison comedy.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: It's kind of really more like uh Hogan's Heroes type of thing.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, except here, the king's entire crime family, all his relatives and and cohorts in crime in his administration are held in one cell in an ice detention center that's run by Antifa, if they can find any Antifa.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: So it's a fantasy show, one of those they're not real.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: So yeah, no, pretty much.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: And oh, we were joking about this earlier, but look at this.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: One of the shows, Orange is the new orange.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: Our king tries to take over the ice detention center that he's in in CSE spin-off from All in the Family.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Orange is a he tries to take over that ice detention center, and he makes a lot of very close friends.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: That might be groundbreaking too in a lot of ways.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: You know, if that was the only thing he did, I I think that upgrades television dramatically.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, absolutely.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: You know, he's he's got that orange touch.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, and then on least but not last, but last also is uh Law and Order, Executive Privilege Unit.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: Uh it's a weekly reminder.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Uh just in case, lest anyone forget, it's a weekly reminder that our king and his enablers can never break the law since they are above the law.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Thank you, John Roberts.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: That's great.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: It's sort of an uplifting show, right?
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: Because it's kind of like hashing on the edge of your seat because they're doing things that are criminal.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: You know, they're abusing people, they're targeting people, and then it turns out they can they get away with it every week.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: It's almost like every week.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: Every week, it's almost like the mod squad.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: Everybody remembers that, right?
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: You know, they go out, they do things, they always seem to be in trouble, and then they get away with it because they they can because it's John Roberts.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Well, and and you know, if people say, Well, it's the same theme, but you know, you remember that great old classic show, The Millionaire, where a guy would give a million dollars to somebody every week, and it was always the same.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: He'd give them a million dollars and they'd still be miserable.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: And so you knew what the show was gonna be.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: Before you went into it, you knew what it was gonna be, but it's still if people watched it because it was cool, it was a cool show.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: A couple that I think are interesting.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: One is Dexter.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: Now, this one was a show, to be honest with you, it was kind of too disgusting for me to watch the original version of it.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: And I'm afraid this will be that way too, especially if people start contracting diseases where the the villain Dexter, I assume, or is it Robert Kennedy plays Dexter?
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: I think Robert Kennedy's gonna play Dexter, yeah.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: That would that would make sense.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: And people end up getting like the mumps or something, and then he does treat them, right?
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: He ties them down and then he just lets them yeah, he wraps them in the plastic and in that plastic.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: You know, yeah.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: So it's more of a it's it's a limited series, I guess, because each episode takes a little while for you know the person to die.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: I think RFK Jr.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: must have read that for contagious diseases, if you wrap somebody in plastic, they can't pass the disease, they can't communicate it to anyone.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: So think of it as like a big mask.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: Any other shows you see there?
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: Uh well, and I was just thinking of uh do you remember the radio show Beat the Reaper?
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: I do, yes.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: It was kind of like that, wasn't it?
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: Where I think that was a show where they would inject somebody with a disease and they had a certain amount of time figure out what it is.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: In this case, though, I guess they do know what it is going in, but they still don't cure the person.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, no, no, they they tell you we're injecting you with this.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: He doesn't have to guess, right?
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, have fun, you know.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: From a dramatic standpoint, I think they need to work on that, you know, because you know, if everybody knows what's what's going to be happening in the end.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: And then, and then if you wanted to do some spin-offs from that, you have two medical shows, you know, ER and Chicago Hope.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: And in both of those, you can take whoever is almost dead and move them on.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: You know how, like in Beverly Hillbillies, that you had characters that were also in petticoat junction.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: Crossover.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, crossover.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: Those law and order crossovers.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: Don't you think that that makes perfect sense?
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: So, you know, you see a guy, you know, he's been uh he's got the measles, and and he's gonna die, and then the show's over, and then he pops up in uh ER.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: Well, there you go.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: And he says, Hey, I feel like my skin's a little itchy.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: Do I have any blotches?
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: It's like a prequel, you know.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: It's so cool.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: It's so cool.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: You know, let's not forget talk shows because our king does love to talk, doesn't he?
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: He does.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: He knows and he knows everything about talk shows.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: What's funny, what's not.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: He doesn't like to talk to people that ask him real questions, though.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: I've noticed that.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: He tends to walk away.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: You know, but but I digress.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: Some of these talk shows are gonna be great.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, this one, this one sounds like a natural gut punch.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: That's the show with Greg Gutfeld, you know.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: He's hilarious.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, what a what a funny gentleman.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, that was that was the script.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: What a funny gentleman.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: Our king on that show would be like his Ed McMahon.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: And so every night, uh the way I understand it at the show, every night they're gonna make fun of some ethnic or otherwise abled person, and it's just to the delight of Fox Nation.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: They are just gonna go crazy over using insulting and offensive words.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: Gutfeld, is that how you pronounce his name?
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: Or uh could be.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: I don't really care, but yeah, okay.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, let's call it Gutfeld.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: Now it it seems as though, I could be wrong, it seems as though he will be the only talk show host that is acceptable to the king.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: So is he on all the channels?
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: They're working on bringing Alex Jones back, but he's a little bit of a wild card, you know?
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: A little bit.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: And I hear he hasn't always been complimentary of the king.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: He was lapping up the king's diaper, but then the whole Epstein thing kind of freaked him a little.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: So I wouldn't tune into the show just yet, you know?
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Well, if he's lapping up the King's diaper, he might pop up in ER.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: Walk by it, you might wind up there.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: But oh, there's another great talk show, The King and I.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: And this is our king, of course, is gonna host a late-night show where he's the only guest.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: He does a monologue every week, and he just kind of lists off people who he thinks are stupid, corrupt, un-American.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: There's gonna be a spin-off, actually, of the show.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: They're already planning a spin-off because they know it's gonna be successful.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: A spin off's gonna be called Donald's List, where every week he's gonna track down his former enemies and they're it's kinda like that show.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Remember the one on PBS where the Harvard professor did the genealogy thing?
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: You know, you're you're it it could be kinda like that.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: They're gonna he's gonna track him down and they're gonna do a this is your life, and this is why you're a horrible person.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Actually, I think it's gonna wind up being not only a spin-off, but a crossover show with the FBI and Justice Squad.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: It might not be as funny as uh, you know, as the cash cops and all that, but it might bring it a little more serious, you know.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: I think he's got it figured out.
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: You know, I never really stayed up late for a lot of the talk shows.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: So uh there are a couple other shows that I guess he's sort of uh bringing these shows back that from a long time ago.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: Um one of them is the Cosby show.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Um yes.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Well, as long as we're rehabilitating people, why not?
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: You know, they seem uh they seem kind of birds of a feather in some ways.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: It's uh kind of a reality show.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: I guess he's a celebrity and he's uh a bachelor and he dates a lot of different women, and you know, they actually go on the dates with him.
- 22:49SPEAKER_01: And I don't want to spill the beans, but I think he scores pretty much everyone.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: Well, and I think he he really perfects his drink mixing skills there.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: I don't know if Robert Culp is in that with him or not, but Robert Culp probably wouldn't want to be.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: No, no, because he would be in the iSpy, and i Spy is kind of a another name, a working name they were gonna use for the Cosby show because he would have like a camera that would that would film it while they were on a TV.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: It'd be kind of like i Spy.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: I Spy, yeah, yeah, it'd be cool.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, you gotta be old enough to remember iSpy, so it's a dwindling audience, but you know, yeah, I like the concept, yeah, yeah.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: Another show is Fantasy Island.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: Again, I think I'm showing my age a little bit here, but I guess the king is, but he is, you know, like like 200 years old.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: And in this one, Fantasy Island, it takes place on an island.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: I don't know what island that is.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: She's been to quite a few islands, yeah.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: Sure, absolutely.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: And Steve Bannon's in it, and Bill Gates, and there's a whole list of people that go to the island.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Royalty, uh celebrities of all kinds.
- 24:00SPEAKER_01: It talks about giving them their fantasies.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: Well, it could be better, I tell you.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: You know, the the list never ends.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: There are just so many shows that a team would be really be capable of.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: You know, a couple that I like on here that they're further down the list, but these are kind of fun, though.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: I I think these would be fun.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: They're gonna a reboot of the Dukes of Hazard.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: Uh they're gonna have Tommy Tomberville.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: Uh Tommy Tumerville.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, he's gonna be in there, he's gonna play an idiotic loudmouth who lives out every negative southern stereotype.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Do you believe that?
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, we really need a show that does that, right?
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: It's much more.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: Now, do you think do you think he'll be wearing those ears?
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: Because I know he wears those fake ears.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: I don't think those are fake.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: Well, okay.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, Madlock starring our king, and he's gonna prosecute his enemies every week.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: Now, the big difference is that this show, instead of wearing a white suit like Madlock, like Andy Griffith did on the old Madlock, he's in gray and black.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: Because you know, they don't show stains as well.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: We talked about a lot of TV shows.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: Are is he looking at doing any movies?
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: Movies is really not his strength.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: I think we're all aware that that's well, now he did he did have that stunning supporting role in Home Alone 2, Lost in New York.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: Or was that Home Alone 3, nobody cares?
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: Is that true?
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Or was it Home Alone 4?
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: Let's keep milking this.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: I see movies, it looks like he's gonna start his own adult TV channel based on some of these titles.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: And you know, like a lot of adult films, they they use similar titles to real movies, Shaving Ryan's Privates.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: I bet that's good.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Pulp Friction, Honey I Blew Everybody, you know.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: Inspect for gadget.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, they these are similar to real movies, right?
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: Uh Shindler's Fist.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: And I think this one is going to be about his own experience in that realm of life.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Uh 60 seconds.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: That's probably his endurance record.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: What if the king is still king and do this job?
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: Could he could he do that, do you think?
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, he could do anything.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: Oh, I imagine, yeah.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: I know that he's busy starting new wars all the time, but I guess the only drawback is that cable's gonna be very expensive by the time he's out of office.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: And a monthly rate might be like a thousand a month, but I don't know.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: You look at some of these titles, it's gonna be worth every dollar.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: Well, Steven, I think you know this.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: The king has lost money since he's been in office.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, he doesn't take a salary.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: He loses that ten billion because he doesn't take a salary, you know.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: And I think that that he tries to spin it so that he makes a small profit, uh a trillion here, trillion there.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: He needs this as sort of like a second job.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: And this would actually be a second job where he wouldn't be breaking any laws as we know them.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Well, I don't know about that.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let's not get crazy.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, let's not get crazy here.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: I do, you know, we could we can wildly hope, but you know, Jeff, we are just about to get kicked out of eccentric Ladyland Studios, so I can't wait for this wonderful media storm quality television and movies that's just gonna come out with all his all his friends putting out these shows.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: It's just wonderful.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can't wait.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Stephen Jeff Show band, sing us on out of here.
- 27:53SPEAKER_04: Read all about our hosts at Steven Jesus.com.
- 28:01SPEAKER_04: I've been playing that kind of music, waiting for TV shows, so far auditions and rejections are all that I have got, but I learned something, and I have a plan a year from now I'll be a famous man because I'll commit crimes, I'll commit crimes.
- 28:36SPEAKER_04: That's how you get on TV crazy times.
- 28:41SPEAKER_04: Stop being a good guy and become a jerk.
- 28:47SPEAKER_04: Pretty soon I'll have to turn away.
