- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to the complete matchup guide for Ohio state USC.
- 0:05Speaker 1: We'll get into Ole miss and Auburn. We'll also finish
- 0:08Speaker 1: up with the game of the week in Florida and Georgia.
- 0:12Speaker 1: We are presented by price picks. We'll talk more about
- 0:14Speaker 1: them in a minute, but we'll start with the big
- 0:16Speaker 1: 10 in a matchup that, uh, man, sexy on paper,
- 0:20Speaker 1: but without a starting quarterback and following up a seven
- 0:24Speaker 1: point performance in a camp Randall, maybe loses some luster,
- 0:28Speaker 1: but it is incredibly important. We're either going to be
- 0:30Speaker 1: done with USC's playoff odds or Ohio States are going
- 0:33Speaker 1: to go to life support. So it's a game of
- 0:35Speaker 1: massive importance, you know, in big 10 country and, you know,
- 0:40Speaker 1: big 10 country, you know, where Kobe Bryant played his
- 0:42Speaker 1: basketball in LA.
- 0:43Speaker 2: So a big one out there in California.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, look, you know, it's, it's not super
- 0:51Speaker 3: sexy with USC coming off this Wisconsin loss, but it
- 0:56Speaker 3: is maybe the last good chance of Lincoln Riley, like
- 1:02Speaker 3: not being subject to, is he going to get fired?
- 1:05Speaker 3: Is he not going to get fired conversations every week? Right.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Like if they win this game, he's off the hot
- 1:11Speaker 3: seat and, And I think that's actually quite important news
- 1:15Speaker 3: for all of college football because of the recruiting class
- 1:18Speaker 3: that USC just signed this year. I mean, they've got,
- 1:21Speaker 3: you know, all these five-star recruits that a lot of
- 1:24Speaker 3: people wanted, good tight ends, good defensive linemen, good offensive linemen,
- 1:29Speaker 3: types of players that don't hit the portal very much. Now,
- 1:32Speaker 3: I don't know what the structure of their contracts are or,
- 1:34Speaker 3: you know, how much money they already took up front.
- 1:36Speaker 3: I know there was talk of USC front-loading some of
- 1:38Speaker 3: those contracts, so maybe they're stuck. in Los Angeles with
- 1:41Speaker 3: or without Lincoln Riley, but still like that is a
- 1:45Speaker 3: job a, because of the history of USC, obviously that
- 1:48Speaker 3: a lot of people are going to watch, but be
- 1:50Speaker 3: in this portal era, that's a job that a lot
- 1:52Speaker 3: of people are really going to watch because there is
- 1:53Speaker 3: a lot of talent on this football team, even though
- 1:56Speaker 3: they can only manage seven points at Wisconsin on the road.
- 2:00Speaker 1: What is the, what was the biggest issue on Saturday? What, what,
- 2:04Speaker 1: what has to go right against a much, well, much,
- 2:08Speaker 1: but a better defense for sure. No home and away matters,
- 2:11Speaker 1: but like, what is the fix here?
- 2:13Speaker 3: Just, I mean, yeah, I mean, it's, it's cliche, right.
- 2:17Speaker 3: But it's like, I don't know that there is a
- 2:19Speaker 3: fix at this point in the season because they're just
- 2:22Speaker 3: not physical, man. Like they're just, they're just not a
- 2:24Speaker 3: physical football team. And when, when you look at that
- 2:29Speaker 3: game against Wisconsin, I mean, it just really came down
- 2:32Speaker 3: to the fact that Wisconsin could run the ball and
- 2:36Speaker 3: control possession and, USC could not. And they got dominated
- 2:40Speaker 3: on the line of scrimmage. Maiava dropping back to pass
- 2:43Speaker 3: 50 times on the road at night in cold weather
- 2:48Speaker 3: in the Big Ten. Like, that's not a recipe. 50
- 2:51Speaker 3: attempts and 257 passing yards. Like, that's disgusting, man. That's
- 2:57Speaker 3: not even six yards a pass attempt. They had more
- 3:00Speaker 3: passing yards than they did total yards because they ran
- 3:03Speaker 3: for minus 17. I mean, it's not like they got
- 3:06Speaker 3: their butts kicked. on defense, Wisconsin had 200 total yards
- 3:10Speaker 3: in this game, but they still had more yards per
- 3:14Speaker 3: play than USC because they had three and a half
- 3:16Speaker 3: and USC had 3.2. I mean, they really got beat
- 3:19Speaker 3: up on the line of scrimmage. And on top of that,
- 3:22Speaker 3: you know, you put USC minus two in the turnover
- 3:25Speaker 3: column and that was that, but they allowed five sacks.
- 3:30Speaker 3: They had six penalties for 50 something yards. They, really
- 3:34Speaker 3: weren't that bad on third downs, but they were one
- 3:37Speaker 3: of three on fourth downs, and in the end, there
- 3:41Speaker 3: just isn't an ability for them to be efficient against
- 3:46Speaker 3: more physical football teams. They're often just kind of stuck
- 3:50Speaker 3: in this realm of like, okay, we're going to try
- 3:55Speaker 3: and hit a big play, and hopefully that big play
- 3:58Speaker 3: puts us into scoring territory to where we can go
- 4:01Speaker 3: and get a field goal or something, you know, or
- 4:04Speaker 3: it's a big enough play to score seven points with
- 4:07Speaker 3: because they bogged down so consistently. Their run game gets
- 4:11Speaker 3: stuffed so consistently. And then on top of that, they
- 4:15Speaker 3: often kind of seem to abandon the run, right? I mean,
- 4:19Speaker 3: they had 75 plays in that game against Wisconsin, and
- 4:23Speaker 3: they ran the ball with their running backs 20 times total.
- 4:27Speaker 3: So that's awesome.
- 4:31Speaker 1: What about– defensively. Now they didn't let Wisconsin go off
- 4:35Speaker 1: by any means. So I suppose that's a good thing,
- 4:38Speaker 1: but defensively, like we know they've struggled at times this year. Um,
- 4:42Speaker 1: this Ohio state team that comes in with not Julian
- 4:46Speaker 1: saying that's their starter.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Um, I it's impossible to predict, I suppose, because we just.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Haven't seen it, but how plug and play is that
- 4:58Speaker 1: offense or is it, What are your expectations for that offense?
- 5:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, my position on the Ohio State offense
- 5:10Speaker 3: for a while now has been that they're flawed in
- 5:13Speaker 3: the sense of you can't build the entire plane around
- 5:18Speaker 3: one player, and they've really tried to build the entire
- 5:20Speaker 3: plane around one player. I mean, there's games where over
- 5:25Speaker 3: 40% of their yardage and their plate run through Jeremiah Smith.
- 5:32Speaker 3: They haven't been good running the football. Ohio State has
- 5:36Speaker 3: really struggled to run the football at times this year.
- 5:39Speaker 3: You're talking about a team that 57th on rush success
- 5:44Speaker 3: rate at 45%. They have a pretty high stuff rate
- 5:50Speaker 3: at times. They just middle along. It's not that they're
- 5:57Speaker 3: terrible running the ball, but they're not a team that's
- 6:01Speaker 3: just able to, I think, lean on the run game.
- 6:04Speaker 3: They might be able to against USC, right? That's possible
- 6:07Speaker 3: because USC is just not the type of team that's
- 6:12Speaker 3: been super impactful at the line of scrimmage. I mean,
- 6:16Speaker 3: they've been really, really bad at kind of holding teams
- 6:20Speaker 3: down in that department. But in a lot of ways,
- 6:23Speaker 3: you look at how Oregon attacked USC, you look at
- 6:26Speaker 3: how some of the teams that have had success with
- 6:27Speaker 3: them offensively attacked USC. you are going to have to
- 6:30Speaker 3: throw the ball. Like, Dylan Raiola has looked really bad,
- 6:35Speaker 3: but he came into that USC game and shredded them
- 6:38Speaker 3: through the air. And so that is sort of the
- 6:40Speaker 3: intrigue in this matchup to me is you do have
- 6:43Speaker 3: a first-time starting quarterback plugging in if you're Ohio State,
- 6:47Speaker 3: and hey, like, can this kid go out here and
- 6:52Speaker 3: operate through the air in at least a certain level
- 6:55Speaker 3: of competency? Can they give him time to do that?
- 6:58Speaker 3: Because Fahey, I think, is that how you say his name, Fahey?
- 7:01Speaker 2: I don't know. I would have guessed Fahey, but I'm
- 7:05Speaker 2: not 100% sure.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Fahey, Fahey. Sorry. But either way, however you say his name.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I mean, the guy does have to be able to
- 7:13Speaker 3: go out there and keep things honest. Because I don't
- 7:16Speaker 3: think that USC's defense, their run defense, is great by
- 7:20Speaker 3: any stretch. But if you get one-dimensional against them and
- 7:25Speaker 3: just– turn this into a slog. I don't think that's
- 7:29Speaker 3: what you want to do if you're Ohio State because
- 7:30Speaker 3: you do still have a USC offense on the other
- 7:32Speaker 3: side that under the right conditions, at home, in good weather,
- 7:39Speaker 3: with a game I'm assuming they're going to rally for,
- 7:42Speaker 3: they probably do have the capability to go out and
- 7:46Speaker 3: possibly score some points and hit some explosive plays and
- 7:49Speaker 3: put Ohio State in a position where, hey, you do
- 7:52Speaker 3: have to go score 25 points to win this game.
- 7:57Speaker 3: If that happens, I think it's an intriguing, it's an
- 7:59Speaker 3: intriguing situation. Yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I just, I, I, it's such an unknown without seeing it,
- 8:07Speaker 1: but then the unknown is, man, what is, what is
- 8:10Speaker 1: USC's offense?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Right?
- 8:11Speaker 1: Like again, you know, everything in this game feels like
- 8:14Speaker 1: a massive question mark that fortunately we just get to
- 8:17Speaker 1: sit back and enjoy and watch and see what happens.
- 8:21Speaker 2: But I could, I don't know that.
- 8:24Speaker 1: There's a game on the slate this week that has
- 8:28Speaker 1: a higher range of variants. Like I, I think, you know,
- 8:32Speaker 1: the other games that we're going to play, like I'm
- 8:33Speaker 1: sure we both are going to pick Ole Miss in
- 8:35Speaker 1: a minute to, to win, whether we pick Auburn to
- 8:38Speaker 1: cover or whatever, like, but you know, like, like the,
- 8:41Speaker 1: the range of what really could happen in, in, in
- 8:43Speaker 1: that game is not astronomical. Like, I don't think either
- 8:48Speaker 1: one of us think that Florida or Georgia are going
- 8:50Speaker 1: to blow each other out. I don't think there are
- 8:52Speaker 1: that many possibilities in the, Florida state Clemson game. Now
- 8:56Speaker 1: the result could go either way, but the way the game,
- 8:58Speaker 1: you know, like Miami, North Carolina, I'm trying to think of.
- 9:00Speaker 2: The other games that happen, Arizona, Texas tech.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Like there, there's a lot of games and matchups, but
- 9:06Speaker 1: the variance in this from high scoring to low scoring,
- 9:09Speaker 1: to boring, to like classic big 10, you know, I,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I don't know, man, just, I would expect that USC's
- 9:16Speaker 1: offense bounces back a little bit at home, but it
- 9:19Speaker 1: is a better opponent, you know?
- 9:21Speaker 2: And that's a big question.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Um, So we've also seen Ryan day at times in
- 9:29Speaker 3: his career at Ohio state, get kind of like sucked
- 9:33Speaker 3: into the man ball challenge, you know, like that, that
- 9:38Speaker 3: Michigan game that they lost in 2024. Great example of
- 9:43Speaker 3: this where, you know, Ohio state just decided like that. They,
- 9:49Speaker 3: they thought they could come out and be physical with
- 9:51Speaker 3: them and make a statement. And, I don't know if
- 9:54Speaker 3: that was based on film or if that was based
- 9:56Speaker 3: on a a need to show that or what, but
- 10:00Speaker 3: like they, they couldn't and they got beat and they
- 10:04Speaker 3: got upset. And, you know, I, I look at this
- 10:08Speaker 3: game a little bit and you're gonna have to put
- 10:11Speaker 3: some faith in this kid on the road and a
- 10:14Speaker 3: first career start to, to, throw the ball around and
- 10:17Speaker 3: keep them honest. And I think that they probably will
- 10:19Speaker 3: because Jeremiah is such a big part of how everything
- 10:23Speaker 3: offensively is designed for them. But you know, what happens
- 10:28Speaker 3: if he throws a pick early or things aren't going great?
- 10:32Speaker 3: Like he's Ryan day is going to have to fight
- 10:35Speaker 3: the need or the desire. I should say to like,
- 10:40Speaker 3: let this kind of snowball into a land of, of
- 10:43Speaker 3: getting too conservative and, and waking up in a four
- 10:47Speaker 3: quarter game because I'm assuming that they're not running this
- 10:52Speaker 3: kid out there and he can't just kind of operate
- 10:56Speaker 3: like basic things within the offense. It's not like they
- 10:58Speaker 3: need him to bomb it away 40 yards downfield, but
- 11:01Speaker 3: he needs to be able to hit like a delayed
- 11:03Speaker 3: crossing route off play action or, you know, just basic
- 11:08Speaker 3: stuff where he puts the ball into his players, like
- 11:12Speaker 3: Brandon Ennis and some of these guys, aside from Jeremiah,
- 11:15Speaker 3: and just lets them run in stride. And if he
- 11:17Speaker 3: can do that, he'll be fine. But if this turns
- 11:20Speaker 3: into a game where USC's like, hey, if we can
- 11:24Speaker 3: double Jeremiah, we can stop the pass, and you've got
- 11:29Speaker 3: a young first-time starter on his hands that's a little
- 11:32Speaker 3: jittery and maybe afraid to pull the trigger and push
- 11:35Speaker 3: it downfield, this could get very sketchy.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Spreading this to seven points, which I'll tell you.
- 11:45Speaker 3: That's informative. It is.
- 11:48Speaker 1: It very much, it feels trappy, but I'll tell you,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I think it's because of the unknown and because of
- 11:56Speaker 1: the variance, obviously. I mean, that's also Vegas telling you
- 11:59Speaker 1: this game was in the shoe. They like them by
- 12:01Speaker 1: two touchdowns, right?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Maybe. I don't know how much Vegas is really. factoring
- 12:08Speaker 3: in USC home crowd advantage at this point after... Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 3: I think it have... We've seen that.
- 12:14Speaker 2: It have.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I think the crowd... Do you think the crowd would
- 12:17Speaker 1: be okay? I think it'd be okay for an Ohio
- 12:19Speaker 1: State game.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Maybe. But I mean, how much of that crowd is
- 12:22Speaker 3: going to be Ohio State fans?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. It's also West Coast travel.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It's the complete opposite direction in going East Coast to
- 12:29Speaker 1: West Coast, which I think is a little easier.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Than going, you know, West to East. But the.
- 12:36Speaker 1: spread being seven, it's hard for me to think that
- 12:42Speaker 1: USC is going to put up, I'll say that in
- 12:44Speaker 1: their offense, we'll just go berserk. It's hard for me
- 12:47Speaker 1: to imagine that Ohio state will need to score an
- 12:53Speaker 1: insane amount of points. Like I would think that if
- 12:57Speaker 1: their defense plays pretty solidly and holds USC under 21,
- 13:02Speaker 1: Ohio state can certainly get there.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Can't they?
- 13:05Speaker 1: They've had two weeks with this kid to prepare him
- 13:07Speaker 1: for exactly what you just said, kind of managing things,
- 13:10Speaker 1: not being Trinidad and having to go out and win
- 13:13Speaker 1: a game.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Well, who's the best quarterback they've played? Arch? Yeah, definitely Arch.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Yeah, Hoover's probably second, right?
- 13:25Speaker 3: Hoover, we saw what happened at Michigan this week. I
- 13:29Speaker 3: don't know if he was... Equally as banged up maybe
- 13:33Speaker 3: against Ohio State, as Signetti seemed to kind of indicate
- 13:37Speaker 3: he was in his postgame interview against Michigan. But, I mean,
- 13:42Speaker 3: it's not like Indiana's past game has lit anything on
- 13:45Speaker 3: fire since they got out of cupcake season. And then
- 13:49Speaker 3: Arch and that crew, I mean, we know how inconsistent
- 13:52Speaker 3: they can be. I mean, Arch went for 23 for 37,
- 13:56Speaker 3: 195 and a touchdown. And they won that game, by
- 13:58Speaker 3: the way. Yeah. After being down by, you know. three possessions.
- 14:03Speaker 3: So I am a little, you know, I mean, you
- 14:08Speaker 3: go back to some of this, like, I do think
- 14:12Speaker 3: there's a possibility that we get out there and we
- 14:15Speaker 3: find out that this Ohio state secondary isn't very good.
- 14:21Speaker 3: And we just haven't really seen anybody that could, that
- 14:23Speaker 3: could protect it and throw it well enough to show that.
- 14:27Speaker 3: And that, that is the intriguing piece of this because I,
- 14:31Speaker 3: I do think, if you look at Jaden Maiava's home
- 14:33Speaker 3: and road splits over the last two-plus seasons, there's nobody
- 14:37Speaker 3: that likes playing at home in sort of a more
- 14:40Speaker 3: dramatic way than that guy. I kind of think this
- 14:45Speaker 3: could be, especially with the way this season is going
- 14:48Speaker 3: and the vibes and all of that, I could see
- 14:51Speaker 3: this being Lincoln Riley's last stand, man. I don't know
- 14:55Speaker 3: if he's going to be General Custer and get slaughtered
- 14:58Speaker 3: or if he's going to be a more successful Military leader.
- 15:03Speaker 3: But I kind of have a weird feeling about USC
- 15:06Speaker 3: in this game. Some of it is on faith and trust, obviously.
- 15:09Speaker 3: I mean, they just had 3.2 yards per play against Wisconsin.
- 15:13Speaker 3: But I'm going to take USC to cover the seven.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Beating Ohio State outright feels like a bridge too far
- 15:25Speaker 3: for just the fact that USC has not won a
- 15:28Speaker 3: single game against a a big time opponent since he's
- 15:32Speaker 3: been there. But I do think that this gets kind
- 15:36Speaker 3: of sweaty palm territory for Ohio state on Saturday.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I'll take Ohio state to cover the seven.
- 15:45Speaker 1: If, if it was seven and a half, I might
- 15:48Speaker 1: worry a little more, but since it's right at seven,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'll take that.
- 15:53Speaker 2: And green and Barrett.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Cause I, I'm not a hundred percent confident in their offense,
- 15:58Speaker 1: but maybe he comes out and, and, and looks really good,
- 16:01Speaker 1: you know, and, and it's not that big of a deal.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Maybe Jeremiah just does a Jeremiah type thing and they
- 16:06Speaker 1: don't need a good quarterback.
- 16:07Speaker 2: So we will see. All right, we'll get to this
- 16:10Speaker 2: game in a minute. So I don't want you to
- 16:11Speaker 2: provide a lot of analysis here for these.
- 16:13Speaker 1: So we're just going to kind of blow through them,
- 16:16Speaker 1: but we're going to do picks on the cocktail party,
- 16:20Speaker 1: which I will forever call it. Prize picks use the
- 16:24Speaker 1: code HMA, play $ 5, get $ 150 in lineups instantly. If
- 16:29Speaker 1: you win on the prize picks app, Jaden boss, 77.5
- 16:32Speaker 1: rushing yards, more or less.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Less.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I'm going more.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Lost and lucky 24.5 receiving yards.
- 16:43Speaker 3: More.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I'm with you on that. More gunner stocked in 1.5
- 16:48Speaker 2: passing touchdowns.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Less.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Who scores a touchdown for flow? You got to pick
- 16:54Speaker 2: one of these. Who's more likely Dallas Wilson or Vernel Brown?
- 16:57Speaker 2: The third.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Uh, VB three.
- 17:02Speaker 1: And then you got to take these, you got it.
- 17:04Speaker 2: This is it. Okay.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I'm going, I'm going VB three as well, by the way,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I'm taking the more on gunner. Um, you got to
- 17:10Speaker 1: take these as a pair. The whole idea of price
- 17:13Speaker 1: picks is you pair a couple of things together to
- 17:15Speaker 1: set a lineup, right? So Nate Frazier 0.5 touchdowns on
- 17:19Speaker 1: the day. Jaden ball 0.5 touchdowns on the day. You
- 17:23Speaker 1: either have to take them as a pair, the more
- 17:26Speaker 1: or leave it alone. I'm taking, I'll take the more.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I think they both score. I love that pairing.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I'll pair it up. I'll give you some hot dog
- 17:33Speaker 3: central subscriber only Intel. I think, I think Nate Frazier will,
- 17:37Speaker 3: will look closer to pre-injury Nate Frazier in this game.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I love the pairing on that. If you're watching this,
- 17:44Speaker 1: go make sure that you are on the prize picks app.
- 17:46Speaker 1: We appreciate them for their support. You can go check
- 17:49Speaker 1: that out. The code, again, is HMA.
- 17:53Speaker 2: We'll go to the SEC for just a few minutes.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Ole Miss and Auburn. We are presented by PrizePix. Both
- 18:01Speaker 1: teams coming off a loss. Auburn could not follow up
- 18:04Speaker 1: their Georgia victory with a victory against LSU. They fought
- 18:08Speaker 1: back early in that first half, but then LSU kind
- 18:11Speaker 1: of just had their way with them in the second half.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Ole Miss fought all the way back. to tie the
- 18:16Speaker 1: game and then just couldn't finish against Texas. Texas ran
- 18:18Speaker 1: the ball really, really well.
- 18:19Speaker 2: So that makes this interesting. Can Auburn run the ball
- 18:22Speaker 2: well against Ole Miss?
- 18:23Speaker 1: It's looking like that game against Missouri, uh, where they
- 18:27Speaker 1: did play well, well running the ball, uh, is the
- 18:29Speaker 1: anomaly because others at other times, Ole Miss is rushing defense, not,
- 18:35Speaker 1: not me.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I mean, look at what Florida did in the swamp.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Look at what.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Texas did last week for the, was that Texas best
- 18:39Speaker 1: rushing game of the year against the quality of, you know,
- 18:42Speaker 1: against the, um, yeah, I don't care what.
- 18:46Speaker 2: They did against, you know, East West, you know, Montana state. Um, but, uh,
- 18:53Speaker 2: thoughts on this one.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Uh, I mean, look, I think Auburn kind of, I
- 19:00Speaker 3: wasn't totally shocked that they returned to earth last weekend.
- 19:06Speaker 3: That seems to be the theme of the sec season
- 19:08Speaker 3: in a lot of ways. Uh, you know, I mean,
- 19:11Speaker 3: I think they're the, the seventh team in the SEC
- 19:13Speaker 3: this year to beat a top 10 team and then
- 19:15Speaker 3: lose the next weekend. So we've, we've sort of seen
- 19:18Speaker 3: that rebound effect a number of times, but you know,
- 19:24Speaker 3: I mean, Ole Miss, I look at this a little
- 19:27Speaker 3: bit and I'm like, Hey, okay. I think Auburn's DBs
- 19:31Speaker 3: are not world beaters, but they're, they're good enough to
- 19:36Speaker 3: like make you make some plays and make some good
- 19:38Speaker 3: throws downfield and If you want to live off big plays,
- 19:41Speaker 3: which it feels like Ole Miss often does, you know,
- 19:45Speaker 3: and that is the curious thing to me is with
- 19:48Speaker 3: no key on Lacey. and then sort of just the
- 19:52Speaker 3: structure of Ole Miss's offense and the way that, that
- 19:55Speaker 3: Trinidad is often kind of a guy who hunts, like
- 19:58Speaker 3: not true, you know, aired out 50 yards downfield type throws,
- 20:03Speaker 3: but like he does hunt these, these 20, 25 plus
- 20:06Speaker 3: area type attempts and, You go back and look at
- 20:10Speaker 3: how Auburn played Georgia and it was a lot of
- 20:13Speaker 3: high shells and then mixing up pressure packages and kind
- 20:16Speaker 3: of daring Georgia to live off shorter completions and that
- 20:21Speaker 3: worked because Gunner Stockton had some turnovers before they could
- 20:25Speaker 3: get in the end zone in a couple of occasions.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I would expect a similar type of game plan from
- 20:31Speaker 3: Auburn's defense in this game and I would think that
- 20:36Speaker 3: I am intrigued how Ole Miss will handle this. Like,
- 20:38Speaker 3: can they be efficient? Assuming that DJ Durkin is smart
- 20:42Speaker 3: enough to make them be efficient and doesn't like overpress
- 20:47Speaker 3: on some of the aggressive things that he likes to do.
- 20:50Speaker 3: If he can vary that up in a way that's
- 20:53Speaker 3: a little more patient, I would say, then I think
- 20:57Speaker 3: Ole Miss has a chance. I'm sorry. I think Auburn
- 20:59Speaker 3: has a chance to at least keep this like interesting
- 21:02Speaker 3: for a time.
- 21:05Speaker 2: What is the thing? Auburn's defense is where I want
- 21:09Speaker 2: to zone in. No pun intended. Zone in a little
- 21:13Speaker 2: bit more.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Ole Miss' offense took a little while to get going
- 21:20Speaker 1: on Saturday night in Austin, but then they did get
- 21:23Speaker 1: it going in the second half. The slow start there,
- 21:27Speaker 1: do you attribute that to something? Is that something that
- 21:29Speaker 1: Auburn can look to maybe replicate? Because if you can
- 21:31Speaker 1: make this a second half game, right? Then that's where,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I mean, you can't let Ole Miss do what they
- 21:37Speaker 1: did in Missouri where the game's over by halftime. And
- 21:39Speaker 1: then it's just like, all right, well, that was fun.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Things are coming. If you can make it a second
- 21:43Speaker 1: half game, which Texas did by getting out to, I mean,
- 21:47Speaker 1: you just think about that run that Ole Miss went
- 21:49Speaker 1: on somewhat, you know, assisted.
- 21:53Speaker 2: By mistakes and things like that.
- 21:55Speaker 1: But you, you look at that run that Ole Miss
- 21:58Speaker 1: went on, man, if this would have been a game
- 21:59Speaker 1: in the first half, Ole Miss does win by 14,
- 22:01Speaker 1: you know? And so, Ole Miss, at some point, Ole
- 22:05Speaker 1: Miss' offense is going to get things rolling in just
- 22:07Speaker 1: about every game. Even that Florida game, they were kind
- 22:09Speaker 1: of answering through the second and third quarters, and then
- 22:13Speaker 1: it was ugly to start and then to finish. But
- 22:16Speaker 1: Auburn's start here, to me, I'm not saying you've got
- 22:19Speaker 1: to go up 24-3 like Texas did, but if you do,
- 22:22Speaker 1: you certainly improve your odds of being competitive. But I
- 22:27Speaker 1: kind of think that this is the game where Ole
- 22:28Speaker 1: Miss got nothing analytical. Ole Miss jumps back.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Out and like, All right.
- 22:34Speaker 2: We got our SEC.
- 22:35Speaker 3: More of a Missouri.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Yeah, we got our SEC humbling last week. Not that
- 22:42Speaker 1: Auburn didn't, but Ole Miss, a little bit different category
- 22:44Speaker 1: right now for expectations.
- 22:46Speaker 2: We got our SEC humbling last week. We're going to
- 22:48Speaker 2: jump on you right away.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, the thing I struggle with a little
- 22:53Speaker 3: bit is.
- 22:56Speaker 3: So Ole Miss offensively, I do think of Trinidad as
- 23:01Speaker 3: like a... a great three point shooter, you know, where
- 23:06Speaker 3: like he might come out cold for a quarter and
- 23:09Speaker 3: a half and then he sees one go in and
- 23:12Speaker 3: all of a sudden he starts making, you know, shots
- 23:15Speaker 3: with two hands in his face and, and, and off balance. And,
- 23:19Speaker 3: you know, he's just really, really good once he gets
- 23:21Speaker 3: into that rhythm, but it can take him a time
- 23:23Speaker 3: to get into that rhythm. And even if he comes
- 23:26Speaker 3: out in that rhythm, I think there's a good chance
- 23:27Speaker 3: he probably falls out of that rhythm at some point.
- 23:29Speaker 3: My question for Ole Miss, honestly, is what is your
- 23:32Speaker 3: plan other than Trinidad drop back 15 yards behind the
- 23:38Speaker 3: line of scrimmage, evade a rusher, and hit a late
- 23:42Speaker 3: developing crossing route over the middle? Because it's a high
- 23:45Speaker 3: level of difficulty, some of the things he does offensively.
- 23:49Speaker 3: And without Lacey, what is their plan against this Auburn
- 23:54Speaker 3: defensive line? Because I do think this Auburn defensive line
- 23:57Speaker 3: has– enough ability to kind of, you know, not, not
- 24:03Speaker 3: let Ole Miss's backup running back come in and rush
- 24:07Speaker 3: it down their throats. And so I am a little
- 24:09Speaker 3: curious what this looks like for Ole Miss. And I
- 24:12Speaker 3: think that that's something they got to figure out whether
- 24:16Speaker 3: it's this game or against Georgia or anywhere else down
- 24:19Speaker 3: the line, like they have to figure out the answer
- 24:21Speaker 3: without Lacey one way or the other, because I think they've,
- 24:26Speaker 3: they've sort of asked Trinidad to, uh, to live in
- 24:30Speaker 3: a pretty special place in order to be successful against
- 24:33Speaker 3: the better defenses they've played. I'm not sure this is
- 24:35Speaker 3: one of the better defenses they've played, to be totally
- 24:38Speaker 3: transparent here. I think that Auburn's defense is okay, nothing special.
- 24:46Speaker 3: But I am a little bit interested in just, hey,
- 24:52Speaker 3: what do you got here from a scheme standpoint? Because
- 24:56Speaker 3: I do think that Auburn– we sort of saw them
- 24:59Speaker 3: get up in a road spot already once. And it's
- 25:03Speaker 3: quite possible that like, yeah, Ole Miss is coming off
- 25:05Speaker 3: a loss. They're going to be motivated, but so is Auburn.
- 25:08Speaker 3: And I think this will be interesting. Yeah.
- 25:11Speaker 1: The, the one thing that's been predictable about the SEC
- 25:15Speaker 1: circle of suck is if you win a big game
- 25:21Speaker 1: and then go play on the road the next week,
- 25:25Speaker 1: it is, it's almost a surefire loss, it feels like. Now,
- 25:28Speaker 1: Georgia kind of bucked that a little bit by losing
- 25:31Speaker 1: at home. There's been other teams that have gone on
- 25:32Speaker 1: the road and won games.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Or if you lose a big game, you come home
- 25:37Speaker 2: and win.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Well, Texas bucked that with Florida. But it does feel
- 25:41Speaker 1: like anybody that wins a big game and then has
- 25:43Speaker 1: to go on the road the next week in the
- 25:44Speaker 1: SEC loses. It feels like this is the spot, when
- 25:50Speaker 1: you're just trying to look at trends in the SEC,
- 25:53Speaker 1: It feels like this is the spot where you probably
- 25:56Speaker 1: trust Ole Miss to bounce back a little bit more.
- 25:59Speaker 1: But both these teams are in the same freaking spot, man. Like,
- 26:03Speaker 1: Auburn lost bigger, but I made an argument earlier today, Graham.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Ole Miss lost twice. They lost in the first half,
- 26:10Speaker 1: going down 24-3, and then they came all the way
- 26:12Speaker 1: back and kind of lost again.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Like, it's almost double demoralizing.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Now, you know, your best coaches, your best– people with
- 26:21Speaker 1: mindset or whatever, maybe they can spin.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Themselves or sell themselves on, like, hey, we were right there,
- 26:26Speaker 2: we were this close. I don't know, man.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Most sports fans and athletes in general are more motivated
- 26:32Speaker 1: by failure, and so my thought is, no, you kind
- 26:35Speaker 1: of lost twice, and it sucks. But who bounces back better?
- 26:40Speaker 1: I mean, I tend to like Ole Miss here.
- 26:41Speaker 2: What's our spread? Do we have that?
- 26:43Speaker 3: 13 and a half.
- 26:44Speaker 2: I don't know that I like it by that much, though.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean.
- 26:50Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Good. Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 2: I was going to say, I think I.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Like Auburn with those points being on the road. I mean,
- 26:56Speaker 1: I know that they just got kind of demolished by LSU.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I think they play a little bit better. I think
- 27:01Speaker 1: they run the ball a little bit better. And Ole
- 27:03Speaker 1: Miss has kind of shown a consistency to allow that
- 27:06Speaker 1: outside of that Missouri game. I will say credit there.
- 27:08Speaker 1: And that was at home. So again, they gave up
- 27:10Speaker 1: a lot of rushing yards to Texas on the road.
- 27:11Speaker 1: They gave up a lot of rushing yards to Florida
- 27:13Speaker 1: on the road. So maybe the home and away matters there,
- 27:16Speaker 1: but I think Auburn is going to be able to
- 27:17Speaker 1: run it at least enough to keep it close.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, like, I have great respect for Trinidad
- 27:24Speaker 3: and his ability to get hot and just do things
- 27:27Speaker 3: that are pretty much indefensible from a defensive side of
- 27:31Speaker 3: the ball. Like, there's just nothing you can do in
- 27:33Speaker 3: some cases. But I do look at this Ole Miss offense. Like,
- 27:39Speaker 3: this Ole Miss offense is not last year's Ole Miss offense, okay? Like,
- 27:43Speaker 3: they don't have five of the top 25 receiving yards
- 27:46Speaker 3: guys in the SEC offensively. they don't have weapons that
- 27:49Speaker 3: like stress you all the way across the board. They
- 27:51Speaker 3: still have weapons, but then you take Lacey out of it.
- 27:55Speaker 3: And what scares you about being in a light box
- 28:00Speaker 3: defensively is just, it's just not really as, as potent
- 28:05Speaker 3: anymore as it was. And if you look at the
- 28:07Speaker 3: metrics of this offense, you know, it's, it's been fine,
- 28:11Speaker 3: but like it's plotted along at times, it's not been
- 28:14Speaker 3: explosive passing game wise, the way that, that we expected
- 28:18Speaker 3: it to be last year. It's not been explosive rush game-wise.
- 28:21Speaker 3: And then you look at sort of some of the
- 28:23Speaker 3: success rate stuff, which, hey, if you're not explosive, you've
- 28:26Speaker 3: got to be efficient. Success rate's an efficiency metric. They're, like,
- 28:31Speaker 3: top 25, top 35, but they're not top 5, top 10.
- 28:38Speaker 3: And there's a big difference between those two things. So
- 28:42Speaker 3: I think that Auburn can– turn this a little bit
- 28:47Speaker 3: into like a, a bit of a, a slog ish
- 28:50Speaker 3: kind of game. I mean, a lot of it will
- 28:51Speaker 3: come down to turnovers and, you know, I would think
- 28:57Speaker 3: that Auburn will be more apt to turn the ball over,
- 29:00Speaker 3: but there is a side of this to me with,
- 29:05Speaker 3: I don't know what will Eccles status is the DT
- 29:08Speaker 3: for Ole Miss, but he was really good against LSU
- 29:13Speaker 3: and kind of shut their run game down and, And
- 29:16Speaker 3: then he went out of that game against Texas, and
- 29:18Speaker 3: we saw Texas really run the ball very well in
- 29:21Speaker 3: the second half of that game, particularly in the fourth
- 29:23Speaker 3: quarter of that game. So with Byron Brown and his
- 29:27Speaker 3: kind of physical ability as a runner and then his
- 29:31Speaker 3: elusiveness on top of that, and I do think Auburn
- 29:34Speaker 3: has good backs that they just kind of– like does
- 29:37Speaker 3: Alex Golish discover this week that, hey, if I go
- 29:41Speaker 3: QB run or QB kind of read option on early
- 29:45Speaker 3: downs that I can live in second and five and
- 29:48Speaker 3: third and five. And I got a shot from there
- 29:52Speaker 3: to run my little crossing routes and, and kind of
- 29:55Speaker 3: figure it out. I think that's possible. So, I'm going
- 29:59Speaker 3: to take Auburn in the points even though it's an
- 30:02Speaker 3: uncomfortable spot. I would love for this to be 14.5
- 30:05Speaker 3: instead of 13.5. I think Ole Miss wins this game.
- 30:10Speaker 3: This game has a weird feeling to me. It really does.
- 30:13Speaker 3: It does have sort of a weird spot in mind.
- 30:17Speaker 3: And we have seen Ole Miss not so much under
- 30:20Speaker 3: Pete to this point, but under Lane we often saw
- 30:23Speaker 3: this group of Ole Miss players get up for big
- 30:28Speaker 3: games and then get back down and find themselves into
- 30:32Speaker 3: some sketchy spots. So I'll be curious how they respond.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Yeah. I, I like Auburn with the points, but like
- 30:41Speaker 1: nothing would surprise me here. I, I not to totally
- 30:43Speaker 1: paid it, but yeah, I think it's like by 10, like,
- 30:46Speaker 1: I think it's almost by 10. And so does that
- 30:49Speaker 1: 10 come because it was a 17 point game and
- 30:52Speaker 1: Auburn scores late to cut a little bit more, or
- 30:54Speaker 1: is it 10 and Ole Miss scores with five minutes
- 30:57Speaker 1: to go to make it 17? And if there's a
- 31:00Speaker 1: backdoor cover one way or the other, I certainly could
- 31:03Speaker 1: see that. I think Auburn plays this relatively close. I
- 31:07Speaker 1: think they lose by 10. I like Ole Miss to
- 31:10Speaker 1: win the game, certainly.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Fair enough.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Let's finish with this one.
- 31:16Speaker 1: The world's largest indoor cocktail party presented by PrizePix. I
- 31:21Speaker 1: guess the party's still outside, but the game indoor, so
- 31:24Speaker 1: we'll see.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Party's always outside.
- 31:26Speaker 2: So In the dome this week.
- 31:32Speaker 3: It's weird. It is.
- 31:34Speaker 2: It sucks.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Let me just preface by saying I hate every athletic
- 31:37Speaker 1: director in the country equally.
- 31:38Speaker 2: All 138, 39 of them. Not personally. I don't really
- 31:42Speaker 2: know many of them personally. Just a few.
- 31:44Speaker 1: But yeah, it sucks. They're not being an opportunity for
- 31:49Speaker 1: this game to be between the hedges and then in
- 31:50Speaker 1: the swamp next year is stupid.
- 31:52Speaker 2: I live in Tampa.
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'm literally selfishly glad that it's in Tampa for me
- 31:56Speaker 1: next year because I'll go. But it is annoying to
- 31:59Speaker 1: me that this game is, is not on the campuses.
- 32:01Speaker 1: But again, you're, if you're, if you're watching this as
- 32:03Speaker 1: a fan of either of these teams, your 80 doesn't
- 32:05Speaker 1: care about you.
- 32:06Speaker 2: They care about money. And so does everyone else that
- 32:08Speaker 2: runs this sport. Graham and I care about you.
- 32:10Speaker 1: And that's why we're going to talk about the actual
- 32:12Speaker 1: game and tell TJ to shut up and stop ranting
- 32:14Speaker 1: about where the game's played.
- 32:16Speaker 2: We care about you.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Can we do the heart emoji? I'm not a girl,
- 32:20Speaker 1: so I don't, I don't really know how to do
- 32:21Speaker 1: that well. So yeah, yeah, that's it. You gotta, you know,
- 32:24Speaker 1: tailor it. Um, We were talking off air, uh, Georgia,
- 32:28Speaker 1: absolutely elite to steal from you at, uh, contact.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Yards allowed a message is metrics, baby.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Dog central.com Georgia elite on both sides of the ball, Florida,
- 32:39Speaker 1: very average, not, not bad, not good.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Just in the thirties on both.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:43Speaker 1: When you look at all the power, four teams, they're,
- 32:44Speaker 1: they're kind of middle of the road on both. So
- 32:48Speaker 1: what can Florida do? Because I don't really know that
- 32:51Speaker 1: I believe like, Oh, you just, you just play up
- 32:54Speaker 1: because it's a big opponent.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Every, I know this is a big opponent. I know
- 32:57Speaker 2: it's a rivalry every week's big in the sec.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Like, you know, like you just, this idea of like, Oh,
- 33:01Speaker 1: we'll just play better because Georgia is not going to
- 33:04Speaker 1: against Florida, like a good Florida team.
- 33:06Speaker 2: That's top 20.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Like, like Georgia is just going to be like, Oh yeah, well, yeah,
- 33:10Speaker 1: it's just Florida, you know? So I want to know
- 33:14Speaker 1: what Florida does to, to compensate for that because Georgia
- 33:19Speaker 1: is really, really good at it. And if, if, if
- 33:22Speaker 1: that's what this game comes down to, certainly I like
- 33:24Speaker 1: the dogs in this, but I do think that that's
- 33:28Speaker 1: a big question I have.
- 33:29Speaker 2: What stands out to you the most in this one?
- 33:33Speaker 3: I'm very curious about Florida's quarterback situation and what they're
- 33:37Speaker 3: going to do here with all of that. I am
- 33:41Speaker 3: not a Florida football insider, but I, I had questions
- 33:45Speaker 3: as they went into that Texas game, like it's Philo hurt,
- 33:49Speaker 3: or are we saying that he's dinged up so that,
- 33:52Speaker 3: This isn't talked about in the media and the fan
- 33:56Speaker 3: base as like a, you know, we're going to the
- 33:58Speaker 3: backup type situation. And I don't know the answer to that.
- 34:02Speaker 3: I really don't. But now Florida has put Trammell Jones
- 34:07Speaker 3: on tape, and that's a different animal if you look
- 34:10Speaker 3: at numbers. I mean, like if I see a team
- 34:14Speaker 3: that's fielding a new quarterback in the middle of a
- 34:18Speaker 3: season that nobody's ever seen play in a game before,
- 34:20Speaker 3: that's an almost automatic– take the points with that team
- 34:24Speaker 3: spot for me because it's really hard to game plan
- 34:27Speaker 3: for a guy that you've never seen before. Well, Florida's
- 34:29Speaker 3: got both these guys on tape now. On one hand,
- 34:33Speaker 3: I think from what we've seen from the Florida offensive
- 34:37Speaker 3: line at times that you need the mobility of Jones,
- 34:41Speaker 3: but on the other, I just don't know that you
- 34:44Speaker 3: traditionally see guys who are going to tear apart a
- 34:48Speaker 3: Kirby smart defense without being able to kind of like
- 34:53Speaker 3: show some savvy and poise and, and get through some
- 34:57Speaker 3: reads and all of that. And I don't know that
- 34:58Speaker 3: Philo is the best in the country at that, but
- 35:01Speaker 3: just from the small sample sizes we've seen of both,
- 35:03Speaker 3: I think he might be a little bit more apt to,
- 35:08Speaker 3: to like beat Georgia on the backside of cover two
- 35:10Speaker 3: and do some things that I think you often have
- 35:15Speaker 3: to do if you want to have success through the
- 35:16Speaker 3: air against the Kirby smart defense. Cause I think they
- 35:19Speaker 3: have to be able to stay balanced and, They can't
- 35:21Speaker 3: just put it all on ball. That's not going to
- 35:23Speaker 3: be the recipe and story. Sorry, go ahead.
- 35:25Speaker 2: No, no, you're good.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Florida getting their full complement of wide receivers back for
- 35:29Speaker 1: this game. Singleton, Wilson, and Vernell Brown. Although I believe
- 35:34Speaker 1: there's some concern around where Bailey Stockton is. He's certainly
- 35:38Speaker 1: their fourth option. But he's been productive and had some
- 35:42Speaker 1: big moments. So I don't want to minimize him. They've
- 35:45Speaker 1: got all the weapons in the world on offense. I
- 35:47Speaker 1: wonder what their offensive line looks like because it did
- 35:49Speaker 1: a freaking good job I'll say against the Texas front
- 35:53Speaker 1: that Colin Simmons played more than 75% of the game.
- 35:56Speaker 2: He went down early in the fourth quarter. So it's
- 35:58Speaker 2: not like you just got to not see him.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:02Speaker 1: And they still have talent even without him. Their offensive
- 36:04Speaker 1: line did a really good job there. Can they do
- 36:06Speaker 1: that again? The two questions that I have had for
- 36:09Speaker 1: Florida all season quarterback, I think it has a very
- 36:12Speaker 1: clear ceiling, but it's not the, like, I don't think
- 36:17Speaker 1: the quarterback play has been bad. But again, I do
- 36:21Speaker 1: think that like the, the questions that I have for them,
- 36:24Speaker 1: offensive line and secondary, can Georgia take advantage of that?
- 36:29Speaker 1: Can Georgia's pass rush? Can their defensive front continue to
- 36:32Speaker 1: limit the run? Can they get pressure on Jones or Philo?
- 36:37Speaker 1: Whoever's playing in this thing and, and can gunner rebound
- 36:40Speaker 1: from the Auburn game to take advantage of a, a
- 36:45Speaker 1: not very good secondary at times this year, they looked
- 36:48Speaker 1: better against Texas and, I'm not taking any credit away,
- 36:51Speaker 1: Florida fans, but also arches a dumpster fire at times.
- 36:54Speaker 1: So their offense is just at, at, at best inconsistent,
- 36:58Speaker 1: plenty talented. I think Georgia's offense is certainly more consistent.
- 37:01Speaker 1: So that's a big question I have for the, for
- 37:03Speaker 1: the Florida Georgia game is can the offensive line hold
- 37:07Speaker 1: up against Georgia's front? Can their secondary hold up against
- 37:12Speaker 1: gunner and this offense?
- 37:14Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, I'm curious a little bit. Um, You
- 37:20Speaker 3: look at Florida's passing game. You just talked about all
- 37:26Speaker 3: those weapons that they have, and I'm in total agreement.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Across the board, they have the ability to stretch you.
- 37:32Speaker 3: You go back and look at that Texas game. They
- 37:34Speaker 3: ran 94 plays in that game. That's insane. Yeah, they
- 37:40Speaker 3: really controlled the ball. They had 12 drives. They averaged
- 37:45Speaker 3: starting field position on their own 34, which is great
- 37:48Speaker 3: over that many drives. And they averaged almost seven plays
- 37:51Speaker 3: a drive. So like they were able to ground it out.
- 37:55Speaker 3: They were not very explosive. They only had four explosive
- 37:58Speaker 3: plays in the football game, but situationally they were very,
- 38:02Speaker 3: very good. And their red zone success rate was 58%
- 38:07Speaker 3: versus 25% for Texas. And that was sort of the
- 38:09Speaker 3: difference in the football game. I do think Jones's legs
- 38:14Speaker 3: helped them a lot as the field shrinks for those
- 38:16Speaker 3: wide receivers. Because one thing that I'd, don't know that
- 38:21Speaker 3: we think about a lot because they do have such
- 38:23Speaker 3: talent on offense. If you look at their season and
- 38:29Speaker 3: then you look at past attempts, they've got 14 completions
- 38:35Speaker 3: all year that had 12 plus air yards on a
- 38:38Speaker 3: past attempt, which is not a lot. And so that
- 38:43Speaker 3: is the interesting piece to me. Buster has always been
- 38:48Speaker 3: good at attacking georgia and that really started obviously in
- 38:52Speaker 3: 2024 when when he had haynes king and georgia tech
- 38:54Speaker 3: and they sort of pushed georgia into that eight overtime
- 38:57Speaker 3: game that that georgia should have won honestly yeah but
- 39:03Speaker 3: that football game you go back and look at it
- 39:06Speaker 3: and what they did was they were able to protect
- 39:11Speaker 3: king at times they were able to run him at
- 39:13Speaker 3: times but they were They were able to freeze Georgia
- 39:15Speaker 3: enough with play action and protect Haynes King enough, and honestly,
- 39:20Speaker 3: his legs were part of this, just extending plays, to
- 39:24Speaker 3: allow these late crossers to develop and get Georgia's linebackers.
- 39:30Speaker 3: singled up in space against shifty guys like, like Eric Singleton,
- 39:34Speaker 3: you know? And I'm curious to see, cause that's kind
- 39:38Speaker 3: of what Auburn just did to Georgia. And I historically
- 39:44Speaker 3: have been of the opinion that if Georgia gets beat
- 39:48Speaker 3: a certain way, that that's what it is, but like,
- 39:52Speaker 3: they're not going to get beat the same way twice,
- 39:55Speaker 3: usually in a short period of time, like Kirby smart.
- 39:59Speaker 3: He's a really good coach. And one of the reasons
- 40:01Speaker 3: why is if something's broken, he usually fixes it quickly.
- 40:06Speaker 3: So I'm curious what Buster does in this game and
- 40:11Speaker 3: sort of how he attacks Georgia. Does, does he try
- 40:13Speaker 3: to force the ball downfield more? Cause we have seen
- 40:16Speaker 3: DeMello Jones, uh, be a little bit shaky for Georgia
- 40:20Speaker 3: at the boundary corner position in terms of getting his
- 40:22Speaker 3: head around. And maybe it's just a free 15 yards, but,
- 40:25Speaker 3: but it keeps your offense on the field. But yeah,
- 40:28Speaker 3: I mean, I, I just, I don't know. Yeah. I
- 40:32Speaker 3: was talking to Allie about this yesterday a little bit when,
- 40:35Speaker 3: when she and I recorded and I said to her
- 40:39Speaker 3: kind of like, well, what's, what's been the big difference
- 40:43Speaker 3: in good Florida and bad Florida, you know? I mean,
- 40:46Speaker 3: like what, what's, What's been the big difference in their
- 40:49Speaker 3: ability to play in some of these games and be
- 40:54Speaker 3: very successful offensively or very unsuccessful offensively? And it's kind
- 40:59Speaker 3: of hard to understand that a little bit, right? I mean,
- 41:04Speaker 3: I think it all comes down to their offensive line
- 41:06Speaker 3: at the end of the day and can they protect.
- 41:08Speaker 3: And for Georgia, their pass rush has been better this
- 41:13Speaker 3: year than it was last year. And it was actually
- 41:16Speaker 3: quite good against Auburn, despite the fact they lost that game.
- 41:19Speaker 3: But this feels like a game where, like, they have
- 41:22Speaker 3: to challenge their defensive line and be like, all right, look,
- 41:25Speaker 3: all you guys are former five-star and high-ranked four-star recruits,
- 41:29Speaker 3: and it's on you to go out and beat blocks
- 41:34Speaker 3: and beat the man in front of you and not
- 41:36Speaker 3: overstress our linebacking core that's filled with high-level future NFL
- 41:40Speaker 3: athletes too much to where they can't be effective anymore.
- 41:44Speaker 3: doing all the things that we ask them to do. Like,
- 41:46Speaker 3: it's your job to keep them from getting paper stretched out.
- 41:50Speaker 3: And if you can, then I think Georgia can play
- 41:53Speaker 3: on their toes and be aggressive defensively and that they
- 41:55Speaker 3: have a shot to not, like, shut Florida down by
- 41:59Speaker 3: any means, but turn Florida into a little bit more
- 42:05Speaker 3: boom or bust where, yeah, maybe they hit a 20-yard play,
- 42:09Speaker 3: but then they get two yards over the next three
- 42:12Speaker 3: plays and they punt, that kind of thing. So, uh,
- 42:15Speaker 3: that is the matchup to me really is Georgia's defensive
- 42:19Speaker 3: line versus Florida's offensive line. Cause I, you can tell
- 42:23Speaker 3: me you're down in Florida. You have a good pulse
- 42:25Speaker 3: on that program, but it feels to me like it
- 42:27Speaker 3: would be a little bit unrealistic to expect Florida's defense
- 42:31Speaker 3: to shut Georgia down in this game. Is that fair?
- 42:34Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I agree. I think I mean, Florida has
- 42:37Speaker 2: not been very happy with their defense.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I thought that they were happy with the way that
- 42:43Speaker 1: the Texas game went down, but not not incredibly happy
- 42:51Speaker 1: with a lot of the other. a lot of the
- 42:54Speaker 1: rest of the season defensively, they did plenty against Ole Miss. They,
- 43:00Speaker 1: and that was really impressive, but a lot of the
- 43:02Speaker 1: rest of the season, they, you know, Summerall has been
- 43:03Speaker 1: complaining about it. Um, the fan base has been complaining
- 43:06Speaker 1: about it. You know, the, the defense hasn't been good enough. I,
- 43:12Speaker 1: I don't want to sit here and say that I
- 43:13Speaker 1: think Georgia can just score at will because their defense
- 43:15Speaker 1: does make plays. And McCrae was really good against Texas. Um,
- 43:21Speaker 1: you know, Jaden Woods is still there. I like their linebackers.
- 43:23Speaker 1: There is talent in the secondary. It's certainly the weakest
- 43:27Speaker 1: position group of the, of the team, probably that are
- 43:29Speaker 1: offensive line, but it's certainly of the defense. And so
- 43:32Speaker 1: there are plays to be made, but yeah, I mean, yeah,
- 43:36Speaker 1: I don't know that they can consistently shut Georgia down.
- 43:38Speaker 1: I think Georgia gets, I think Georgia gets into the
- 43:41Speaker 1: thirties in this game. I don't think it's a blowout
- 43:44Speaker 1: by any means. Cause like Florida's offense can score at
- 43:46Speaker 1: times too, but I think Florida's defense is, you know,
- 43:51Speaker 1: If they can show it to me again, which I think, again,
- 43:53Speaker 1: they did it against a really inconsistent, again, at best,
- 43:57Speaker 1: Texas team. But I like Georgia's defense here. Or I
- 44:03Speaker 1: like Georgia's defense way more. Georgia's offense, sorry, way more
- 44:06Speaker 1: than I like Florida's defense.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a little bit of an interesting spot. You know,
- 44:14Speaker 3: the total in this game only being 56.5 points surprises
- 44:19Speaker 3: me a bit. That total is a little bit higher
- 44:24Speaker 3: than the total in that Ole Miss-Texas game last Saturday night.
- 44:31Speaker 3: I don't know if that speaks to the high level
- 44:37Speaker 3: of variance that we've seen from Florida's offense and just
- 44:39Speaker 3: kind of not knowing exactly what you're going to get
- 44:42Speaker 3: from them, but it is a little bit intriguing to
- 44:47Speaker 3: me Even coming off that Texas win and Georgia coming
- 44:51Speaker 3: off the loss to South Carolina, you're in a spot
- 44:55Speaker 3: where UGA is favored by as much as they are
- 44:59Speaker 3: favored by. Some of the metrics for Florida, I'm just
- 45:06Speaker 3: going to list them off here. Past success rate allowed
- 45:11Speaker 3: their 6% tile in all of the FBS. 99 would
- 45:15Speaker 3: be number one. Uh, yards per drop back allowed 37th
- 45:20Speaker 3: percentile pass expected points added per play 16th percentile rush
- 45:26Speaker 3: explosive percentage allowed fourth percentile pass explosive percentage allowed 10th percentile, uh,
- 45:33Speaker 3: explosive percentage overall out first percentile. They've been okay in
- 45:40Speaker 3: the red zone, 49th percent. They've been okay with line yards,
- 45:44Speaker 3: but we just talked about some of those numbers, uh,
- 45:47Speaker 3: They don't stuff runs. Their average third down distance allowed
- 45:53Speaker 3: has been 6.3 yards. That's 121st in the FBS. The
- 45:56Speaker 3: late down success rate allowed has been 56.6%, which is
- 45:58Speaker 3: 134th in the FBS. If Georgia loses this game, it
- 46:02Speaker 3: feels like it's a failure of it's likely a failure
- 46:18Speaker 3: of Mike Bobo and Gunnar Stockton and that kind of marriage,
- 46:23Speaker 3: the run game, whatever the, the Georgia offense to capitalize
- 46:29Speaker 3: on a defense that certainly looks like it should be
- 46:33Speaker 3: had now against Texas, Florida to their credit said like,
- 46:38Speaker 3: we're not going to get beat on our heels. And
- 46:41Speaker 3: they blitzed the ever loving shit out of Arch Manning. Yeah. And,
- 46:45Speaker 3: and they, created a couple turnovers and like created some
- 46:48Speaker 3: panic and uncomfortability. I think Georgia's offensive line is better
- 46:53Speaker 3: than Texas's, but I also think Gunnar Stockton is a
- 46:55Speaker 3: better decision maker and game manager than Arch Manning in
- 46:58Speaker 3: terms of, Hey, if I see blitz, I'm not just
- 47:00Speaker 3: going to automatically chuck it 40 yards downfield and hope
- 47:03Speaker 3: that it's, there's not a safety sitting back there. So
- 47:07Speaker 3: we'll see if, you know, I think this will be
- 47:10Speaker 3: an interesting spot for Gunnar though. Like how does he
- 47:12Speaker 3: manage having a bad game against Auburn? Right. Like how
- 47:16Speaker 3: healthy is he? He had the stinger against Auburn. I
- 47:18Speaker 3: know people had questions about where he was, you know,
- 47:23Speaker 3: in that game. But I think it kind of comes
- 47:26Speaker 3: down to him. This is not to be cheesy, but
- 47:31Speaker 3: this is kind of a legacy game for any Georgia quarterback,
- 47:35Speaker 3: like the chance to go 2-0 against Florida in your
- 47:38Speaker 3: career and the chance to win a ranked-on-ranked Georgia-Florida game
- 47:44Speaker 3: for the first time since 2020, I think. that we've
- 47:47Speaker 3: seen that. So it, it's an opportunity for him to
- 47:51Speaker 3: kind of make a statement. I think that we saw
- 47:54Speaker 3: one week anomaly that was maybe due to some, some
- 47:57Speaker 3: injury type stuff. And he really is one of the
- 48:01Speaker 3: better quarterbacks in the country, the way we thought he
- 48:03Speaker 3: was that night in Tuscaloosa.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. It's a, it's a massive opportunity for
- 48:08Speaker 2: both teams.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I want to say this, I've said this on a
- 48:10Speaker 1: couple of shows, so I don't mean to be repetitive,
- 48:12Speaker 1: but everybody's talking about Texas could get in at nine
- 48:14Speaker 1: and three.
- 48:15Speaker 2: If, Florida was to win this game and, and, and,
- 48:21Speaker 2: and they only have two.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Losses, but let's say they go on the road and
- 48:23Speaker 1: lose to Kentucky who I think we, you know, as
- 48:25Speaker 1: of today, we would have Kentucky in the playoffs.
- 48:27Speaker 2: We'll see how their last month finishes up.
- 48:30Speaker 1: But if Florida is nine and three and has three
- 48:32Speaker 1: top 10 wins, including a head to head with Texas,
- 48:36Speaker 1: including an old miss team that came down to the
- 48:38Speaker 1: swamp and they just decimated and including number two, Georgia,
- 48:42Speaker 1: like Texas credit for beating number one, Ohio state. if
- 48:47Speaker 1: Florida goes to beat Georgia in, in the state of Georgia,
- 48:49Speaker 1: and I know it's neutral site, but if they go
- 48:51Speaker 1: beat them in Atlanta, I think they deserve that 9-3
- 48:56Speaker 1: and then lose to Kentucky or lose to Oklahoma, whatever.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I think they deserve that credit for being the 9-3
- 49:02Speaker 1: team to go to the playoff more than Texas does
- 49:04Speaker 1: because they've got the head-to-head. Texas still is going to
- 49:07Speaker 1: have wins against, like we just mentioned, Ohio State. They'll
- 49:11Speaker 1: have a win against LSU on the road. They'll have
- 49:13Speaker 1: a win in Neyland against Tennessee. And they'll have the
- 49:17Speaker 1: Ole Miss game, too. So I guess the question would
- 49:19Speaker 1: come down to what's more impressive for ranked. Well, I
- 49:22Speaker 1: guess Florida will have Missouri as well, but four ranked
- 49:25Speaker 1: wins or four highly ranked wins or three highly ranked
- 49:29Speaker 1: wins and a head to head. My gut would say
- 49:31Speaker 1: that Florida at nine and three, they beat Georgia, lose
- 49:34Speaker 1: to Kentucky.
- 49:35Speaker 2: They get, they should get it.
- 49:36Speaker 3: All right. Well, so spin that the other way. If
- 49:39Speaker 3: they lose this game but win out, I mean, I
- 49:42Speaker 3: still would argue that wins over Texas Ole Miss and
- 49:45Speaker 3: Kentucky are as good as any Big Ten team's resume.
- 49:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with that. I think, yeah, I don't
- 49:52Speaker 2: think that's wrong.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I just think that what would put Florida over the top,
- 49:56Speaker 1: because Florida's having a fight, and again, this shouldn't be
- 49:59Speaker 1: this way, but Florida's having a fight their way up.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Well, I guess Texas is too right now. But Florida's
- 50:06Speaker 2: having a fight their way up.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Ask beat though. That's going to be the problem when
- 50:11Speaker 3: they get into that room is not that they lost
- 50:13Speaker 3: those games, but the way they lost those games by,
- 50:16Speaker 3: you know, four touchdowns is bad.
- 50:19Speaker 1: The, if they can beat Oklahoma, I think that would
- 50:24Speaker 1: be a big help because you'd have a head to head,
- 50:27Speaker 1: another common opponent. Um, they be old miss in a
- 50:31Speaker 1: much different way than Texas beat old miss. So I
- 50:35Speaker 1: agree with you. The Florida losses are bad. The Texas losses,
- 50:40Speaker 1: I guess we would ask where the third one comes from.
- 50:43Speaker 1: What's going to be that third loss? Is it at
- 50:45Speaker 1: A & M, which is a bad loss, or is
- 50:47Speaker 1: it at LSU, which takes away one of your quality wins?
- 50:52Speaker 2: It's going to be a mess.
- 50:54Speaker 1: But the head-to-head, man, if both teams are 9-3, both
- 50:57Speaker 1: teams have four or five ranked wins, both teams beat
- 51:00Speaker 1: a top-three team, I think it's hard to not say
- 51:03Speaker 1: that that head-to-head should mean quite a bit because they're
- 51:06Speaker 1: going to be right next to each other.
- 51:08Speaker 3: Well, and remember a couple years ago, the first year
- 51:11Speaker 3: of the 12 team when there was that group of Alabama,
- 51:14Speaker 3: Ole Miss, South Carolina, all from the SEC, all at 9-3,
- 51:18Speaker 3: and none of them got in, but they were all
- 51:22Speaker 3: sitting there on the outside looking in, and there was
- 51:24Speaker 3: a whole conversation that sort of occurred amongst the committee
- 51:28Speaker 3: where they said, oh, well, head-to-head doesn't matter at this
- 51:31Speaker 3: point because we've got a big group of teams, so
- 51:33Speaker 3: we're not just comparing two teams, right, and They make
- 51:36Speaker 3: this shit up as they go. But, you know, it'll
- 51:39Speaker 3: be interesting to see, like, from a Florida perspective, it
- 51:44Speaker 3: would suck for them if they get screwed on that
- 51:46Speaker 3: Texas win because of something– some scenario like that where
- 51:49Speaker 3: it's like, oh, well, we're just comparing four, five, nine,
- 51:54Speaker 3: and three teams at this point. So, it doesn't– you know,
- 51:58Speaker 3: we're not really considering that. We're looking at the entire
- 52:00Speaker 3: body of work because, I mean, Texas would get the
- 52:03Speaker 3: nod with that Ohio State win. Unless Ohio State craters out.
- 52:07Speaker 3: which is not entirely impossible.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I also don't think that shouldn't count against Texas, though.
- 52:15Speaker 3: No, it shouldn't count against them, but it will change things.
- 52:18Speaker 3: You and I both know it will change things. Just
- 52:23Speaker 3: there's an emotional, optical thing that happens, I think, to
- 52:28Speaker 3: the people in that room where it is a different
- 52:31Speaker 3: process for them saying, oh, well, Ohio State was... you know,
- 52:36Speaker 3: the number one team in the country when this happened
- 52:38Speaker 3: versus Ohio state is still a top five team or,
- 52:43Speaker 3: you know, a playoff team or whatever. Like those are
- 52:45Speaker 3: two different conversations. And we see that every year for
- 52:48Speaker 3: better or worse, you know?
- 52:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I, I agree.
- 52:54Speaker 1: They, but I do think that win should still count
- 52:58Speaker 1: as the number one way. I'm not big on, I
- 53:01Speaker 1: think it's a delicate balance, just big picture on is
- 53:04Speaker 1: a team that, Is a team what their rating was
- 53:07Speaker 1: when you played them or at the end of the season?
- 53:09Speaker 1: I go back and forth on that because Georgia Tech
- 53:13Speaker 1: and Boston College got credit for top 10 wins against
- 53:16Speaker 1: Florida State when they went 2-10. And I think we
- 53:19Speaker 1: can all say that that wasn't a top 10 team.
- 53:21Speaker 1: They just happened to be ranked there in the preseason.
- 53:23Speaker 1: I know Ohio State was there early in the preseason.
- 53:26Speaker 1: The one thing I changed my thinking on with that
- 53:29Speaker 1: is injuries. If an injury happens and a quarterback goes down,
- 53:34Speaker 1: that's where I'm willing to say, okay, Ohio State was
- 53:36Speaker 1: a top.
- 53:37Speaker 2: They're still power-rated as a top team.
- 53:39Speaker 3: I'd lean Texas away from that. Vegas has... I don't
- 53:46Speaker 3: think that injury adjustment has really occurred yet because we
- 53:50Speaker 3: haven't had a full game of it, but it'll be
- 53:52Speaker 3: interesting how that plays out over the long haul for sure.
- 53:57Speaker 3: I'm with you, man. I'm 100% in agreement with where
- 54:01Speaker 3: you're mindset here. I agree that there is a little
- 54:06Speaker 3: bit of a... I mean, there's so many things that
- 54:09Speaker 3: can play out at this point that I don't know
- 54:11Speaker 3: how useful it is to imagine all of the scenarios,
- 54:14Speaker 3: but I do think that the win that Texas had
- 54:20Speaker 3: against Ohio State should carry the weight that it probably
- 54:25Speaker 3: would have carried if Julian Zan didn't get hurt. Now,
- 54:29Speaker 3: I'm of the belief that Ohio State Probably loses to Indiana.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Not loses to Indiana, but I'm of the belief that
- 54:38Speaker 3: Ohio State was capable of losing another game on this
- 54:42Speaker 3: schedule with or without Julian Zinn. So if they lose
- 54:46Speaker 3: another game, I don't know that that's a huge difference
- 54:48Speaker 3: in what we would have seen. But if they bottom
- 54:50Speaker 3: out and miss the playoff or something like that after this,
- 54:53Speaker 3: then that feels like something that needs to be taken
- 54:57Speaker 3: into consideration.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Florida is a 10 and a half point dog here
- 55:02Speaker 1: back to the actual game for a moment. Um, or
- 55:05Speaker 1: the last moment, Florida is a 10 and a half
- 55:06Speaker 1: point dog. I like them to cover.
- 55:09Speaker 2: I like Georgia to win.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I like something like 31, 24, 34, 28, something like that.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Like I think Florida, I think Georgia gets into the
- 55:17Speaker 1: low thirties. I don't have as much faith in that
- 55:20Speaker 1: Florida defense. I think Florida puts up some points, but
- 55:23Speaker 1: I've got more confidence in Georgia's defense. So 34-27, 34-28, 31-28,
- 55:27Speaker 1: something in there. I think it's a 3-7 point game.
- 55:32Speaker 1: They do cover the spread, but Georgia wins.
- 55:34Speaker 3: I thought it was interesting Kirby Smart let slip. I
- 55:39Speaker 3: don't even know that he let slip. I think he
- 55:41Speaker 3: said it intentionally on Monday that they've been showing their
- 55:45Speaker 3: defense clips of Jaden Ball all season long and sort
- 55:49Speaker 3: of saying, are you practicing to... tackle the running back
- 55:53Speaker 3: that you're going to play this week? Or are you
- 55:55Speaker 3: practicing to tackle the best running backs in college football?
- 55:59Speaker 3: And he was very praiseworthy. You know, he gave a
- 56:02Speaker 3: lot of compliments to Bob. I know he thinks highly
- 56:04Speaker 3: of him. I know Georgia recruited him as a linebacker
- 56:06Speaker 3: at one point and he's a Georgia kid, but I
- 56:11Speaker 3: find that a little bit interesting and informative that that's
- 56:15Speaker 3: kind of the, been the standard or the, the idea
- 56:18Speaker 3: of the test for this Georgia defense for a little while.
- 56:22Speaker 3: They have not tackled well in the last couple weeks.
- 56:26Speaker 3: They missed, I think, 15 tackles against Auburn. That is
- 56:29Speaker 3: super uncharacteristic from a Georgia defense. They come off the
- 56:33Speaker 3: bye week. I think they'll tackle better, which I think
- 56:35Speaker 3: is what you have to do against a Buster Wagner offense.
- 56:38Speaker 3: If you can't tackle in space, you're going to be
- 56:39Speaker 3: in trouble. And I think they'll kind of get it
- 56:43Speaker 3: right in that regard. This game, to me, does feel
- 56:47Speaker 3: like there's kind of a wide range of outcomes. Like,
- 56:50Speaker 3: if Georgia's able to to win up front on the
- 56:53Speaker 3: defensive line. Like we were talking about in the beginning
- 56:55Speaker 3: of this and whip some blocks and, and get pressure
- 57:00Speaker 3: with four and do some of those things. Like this
- 57:02Speaker 3: could be a long day for Florida. If they, if
- 57:06Speaker 3: they aren't, then all of a sudden Florida stretched you out.
- 57:09Speaker 3: You've got time. You've got all these, these big toys
- 57:13Speaker 3: in space from a wide receiver standpoint. So I could
- 57:17Speaker 3: see this being a three point game. And I could
- 57:20Speaker 3: see this being a, you know, a Georgia wins kind
- 57:24Speaker 3: of comfortably type of game. So I do think Georgia
- 57:28Speaker 3: wins this football game. I'm going to pick them to
- 57:30Speaker 3: cover because I'm going to believe in Kirby Smart off
- 57:35Speaker 3: a loss until I get shown otherwise, right? But, you know,
- 57:42Speaker 3: I mean, the 10.5 and the hook right there, that's
- 57:44Speaker 3: a– you could lose by half a point very easily.
- 57:48Speaker 3: I would probably– take a little Georgia all line in
- 57:54Speaker 3: this game too, to win by like a big number.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Cause I do think that that's possible with the, the
- 58:01Speaker 3: DLL stuff we were talking about, if that breaks down
- 58:03Speaker 3: the wrong way for Florida, but yeah, the, the total
- 58:10Speaker 3: in this game makes me feel more confident about Georgia,
- 58:15Speaker 3: to be honest with you. Just, I, you know, I
- 58:17Speaker 3: think the recipe for Florida to win this game is
- 58:20Speaker 3: probably to, to turn it into a little bit of
- 58:23Speaker 3: a shootout, unless you're just going to get another three
- 58:26Speaker 3: turnovers from Georgia or something like that. And if that's
- 58:28Speaker 3: the case, well then, you know, you normally lose football
- 58:31Speaker 3: games in your minus two, minus three in the turnover column. Yeah.
- 58:34Speaker 1: I think that's, it can be impossibly is the, the equalizer.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I mean, it's why, you know, it shouts Auburn for
- 58:41Speaker 1: making the plays, but it's why Auburn won two weeks ago.
- 58:45Speaker 1: I also think like, The bye week here is really interesting.
- 58:49Speaker 1: I tell you, I agree with you. I like Kirby
- 58:51Speaker 1: coming off a loss. I really would have liked Kirby
- 58:54Speaker 1: coming off a loss if there wasn't the bye week
- 58:56Speaker 1: in between it. And I would have really hated Florida
- 58:58Speaker 1: coming off of a huge win on the road in Austin.
- 59:01Speaker 1: If you know, the bye week, I think mitigates some
- 59:05Speaker 1: of that. I don't know what percentage, 10%, 20%, 30%,
- 59:06Speaker 1: whatever the bye week mitigates a little bit of that
- 59:11Speaker 1: because you're not as high maybe if you're in Florida's shoes.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You're maybe not as low. You've had two weeks to
- 59:19Speaker 1: get over that loss to Auburn. So it maybe mitigates
- 59:23Speaker 1: a little bit of it on both sides. But the
- 59:25Speaker 1: way that both teams will have handled it is interesting.
- 59:28Speaker 1: I know you'll cover this Inside, outside, upside down, around,
- 59:31Speaker 1: all the places over on Dog Central. So make sure
- 59:34Speaker 1: that people are subscribed there or at least following it.
- 59:37Speaker 1: We referenced some metrics, but the trenches, the dogcentral.com backslash

- 59:48Speaker 1: If you charge people for that page, which it is free.
- 59:51Speaker 1: if you charge people for that page, I'd have to
