- 0:23Welcome inside the Treehouse Football Podcast. This is episode number sixteen. I believe
- 0:32it is. This is episode sixteen of the Treehouse Football Podcast. Although Trey's
- 0:37face doesn't seem quite as confident as my voice does and saying it you threw
- 0:42me for a loop on that one. I was trying to think, which
- 0:48it can't be sixteen because we're only thirteen weeks in the NFL season. Aren't
- 0:52we thirteen or fourteen weeks? I don't know. We'll figure it out.
- 1:00I'm pretty sure it's sixteen. I'm just trying to remember that when I was
- 1:04filling out episode information, and I feel like the last one we did was
- 1:07fifteen. Oh you know what it is? Because we didn't have one last
- 1:11week because instead of doing a football podcast, I was working on my toilet
- 1:18cast. So we actually didn't have a fifteen. Got it? Maybe I'm
- 1:23thinking of Friday episodes. We'll figure it out. The number will be there.
- 1:26You're listening. That's all that really matters. We got a football episode
- 1:30this week because we did not get an opportunity to preview the big Cowboys Eagles
- 1:38game. But at least at least now we get to look back with good,
- 1:45happy feelings at kicking a crap out of the Eagles Cowboys by twenty on
- 1:52Sunday Night. It's the win that the Cowboys needed moving forward in this season,
- 1:57because I couldn't help but think it that if they lose that game Sunday
- 2:01Night against the Eagles, I think mentally and emotionally, they're done because they
- 2:08already got trounced by the forty nine ers, and then they went on a
- 2:12pretty good run. They lost to the Eagles in a close game, but
- 2:15they lost that because they were mostly made some boneheaded plays right in that first
- 2:20matchup, and then they won every game since that loss against the Eagles and
- 2:23did so pretty convincingly. So had they lost that game against the Eagles,
- 2:29they absolutely would have been everything that all the national TV people say about them
- 2:34and all the other fans of teams other than Cowboys say, which is really
- 2:39good at beating up bad teams, can't win against good ones. And had
- 2:44that happened on Sunday Night, they would have said, yeah, they're right,
- 2:46and they would have been. But since they won, now it opens
- 2:52the door to see can they actually make an honest to God run out of
- 2:57this and make an honest to God run at the forty nine ers. I
- 3:00mean that team, that team that played Sunday, that team can play with
- 3:06anybody. I mean that that was by far and away one of the best
- 3:09Cowboys performances I've seen, and I would it feels like a couple of years.
- 3:14I mean it was just it was complete they I mean they were just
- 3:17all over it. I mean I thought everything from coaching to execution, but
- 3:22it was all they were just like they look so good. And keeping in
- 3:25mind that's still involved like four field goals out of our new new phenom,
- 3:32even though he's on the older side of things, as you know rookies go,
- 3:38he's a twenty eight year old phenom as far as NFL kicking goes,
- 3:40like that includes four field goals out of him, most of which he would
- 3:45have made from Fort Worth. Oh yeah, that's where did we find him?
- 3:51The USFL. They're good for something. Bones Bones founded, old old
- 3:58old bones. Fossil dug him up out of the USFL. They even said
- 4:02it in the in the telecast Sunday night that Fossil had somehow seen him or
- 4:10saw a tape of him or something and saw that he was just kicking the
- 4:14lights out of the USFL and decided to bring him in. And obviously that
- 4:18kid has been lights out. He's he's I mean, there's there's nothing more
- 4:25you can say. I mean, he hasn't missed anything. It's it's hysterical
- 4:28to think that he's missed. I think it's three extra points on the season,
- 4:30but no field goals. And I don't even like, I can't think
- 4:34of a field goal that he's kicked that it has even been close. I
- 4:39mean, it seems like they're all like, I mean, I feel like
- 4:42he could take a run at seventy mm hmm, I'm with you. Like
- 4:46the one that he kicked from sixty or whatever it was, it looked like
- 4:50that could have been good from sixty five plus. Yeah. The one he
- 4:54kicked after that looked like it would have been good from about seventy. So
- 4:59yeah, So the good what news is we got we found a new kicker.
- 5:01So the kicker doesn't seem to be any sort of an issue. The
- 5:04defense, I don't know if they, you know, got the crib sheet
- 5:10from the forty nine ers on how to dismantle the Eagles, but they managed
- 5:13to do that. That was a big hurdle for them to jump and the
- 5:16offense did well. They didn't they didn't turn the ball over. They did
- 5:21everything you're supposed to do in the NFL to win a game. They were
- 5:24good on third down, they didn't turn the ball over. They were at
- 5:27home and extended their home winning streak, which sounds weird to say a home
- 5:30winning streak for the Cowboys because they really hadn't had one in this new stadium,
- 5:35they haven't had a home field advantage. I mean, you know,
- 5:39always say. One of the finest examples of Cowboys home field advantage was the
- 5:42last game they played at Texas Stadium. They got trounced by Baltimore by like
- 5:46fifty points. Yeah, it is sad, but ever since moving into that
- 5:53new stadium, Yeah, there absolutely was no sort of sense of home field
- 5:56advantage, especially when because interestingly enough, the first game in that building was
- 6:00against the forty nine Ers, and easily half the seats in that building were
- 6:04forty nine Ers fans because they all wanted to go see the stadium. Well,
- 6:09that and Dallas is just fair weather fandom, I mean for the most
- 6:15part, because especially for the Cowboys games, you got to want to go
- 6:18out there, like financially, and you know the effort. It's not like
- 6:23you can just hop on a bus and then you get dropped off at the
- 6:26front. Yeah, now that doesn't happen. You can though, you can
- 6:30do that with the Cotton Bowl where the Cowboys originally played, but I don't
- 6:34recommend it. But as you know, even as many questions if we've had
- 6:42about the Cowboys, if you're an Eagles fan, you've really got to be
- 6:46questioning everything right now because you've had back to back ass whippings. Yes by
- 6:50the by now, which you know to be the top two teams in the
- 6:54league because they started out the year it was them, and then San Francisco
- 6:58was up there with them, and now the Eagles have dropped off and now
- 7:02it's the Cowboys and the forty nine ers at the top, and the Eagles
- 7:04are now kind of reeling. They're trying to figure out what the hell they're
- 7:10gonna do and who they are, because I think the Eagles are now primed
- 7:15for a tumble, even though the remainder of their schedule is pretty soft,
- 7:20especially compared to the Cowboys. I think back to back losses to the Niners
- 7:26and the Cowboys, they are primed for a tumble, an emotional letdown,
- 7:30and basically an existential crisis in the Eagles locker room, wondering, well,
- 7:35we were good but we're not. Now why and this is going to be
- 7:40the most difficult job Nick's hearing on he's ever had to do, oh no
- 7:44doubt. And it's like, I don't know if if the forty nine ers
- 7:46figured out something and we copied it or what happened, But you know,
- 7:50two things definitely unraveled. You know, someone figured out their defense and how
- 7:55to move the ball against it. And also and I still, well,
- 8:00their line is one of the best in the NFL. But the now that
- 8:03being said, Cowboys defense is very solid, but they both seem to they
- 8:09neutralized that offensive line somewhat. They did. I mean, obviously the Eagles
- 8:13still had quite a bit of success in that game, running the ball and
- 8:16everything, but like most teams, it's difficult. The Eagles are more built
- 8:22to take a lead than they are to come from behind, kind of like
- 8:28how the Cowboys have been in recent years. If they can get out to
- 8:31a lead, they're really good at hanging on to it. But when it
- 8:35comes to you know, playing from behind and having to really, you know,
- 8:39get lots of points chunked up pretty quickly to come back. That's obviously
- 8:43where they're struggling. So it's what the Eagles. You got to get on
- 8:46top of them early, and that was that the Cowboys were able to do.
- 8:50Yeah, And I was really happy with the Cowboys because their mo is
- 8:56generally like after that first half, come out as and then play the third
- 9:01quarter kind of soft and all of a sudden, make it it's a closer
- 9:03game than it should be. They didn't do that. It was a complete
- 9:09performance. Yes, it was the It was the game that the Cowboys needed,
- 9:16and it was the worst case scenario for the Eagles. So it was
- 9:20a beautiful thing to watch as a Cowboys fan because you got to see Eagles
- 9:24fans unhappy because they were talking all sorts of trash after their five point win
- 9:31at home over the Cowboys a handful of weeks ago, despite the fact that
- 9:35they're running around thinking like they just won the Super Bowl again, even though
- 9:37it was a regular season game against the Cowboys where two touchdowns get called back
- 9:46for the Cowboys, right and the Eagles are still running around town screaming,
- 9:50ah, we're the best we're the best. It's like, man, I
- 9:52think you should go back and watch that game some more, because if the
- 9:54Cowboys hadn't done a couple of boneheaded things, this would have been a completely
- 9:58different outcome. But now it doesn't matter. Well, I think one of
- 10:03the things, you know, the Cowboys did is this game took care of
- 10:07the ball and Philly did not, and they capitalize on that. But yeah,
- 10:11I will say it is I'm sorry, go ahead, Drake. Oh.
- 10:13I was just gonna say it's interesting because I don't know. After about
- 10:18five six weeks in the season, the two teams I really thought were the
- 10:22best in the NFL were Philly and Miami, and both of them are suffering
- 10:28some kind of crisis, especially Miami lose to the Titans at home. Look,
- 10:37I'm in Miami right now, and I feel like not so much an
- 10:41expert, but I can at least speak to the mentality of people in this
- 10:43city. You have no idea, like it took twenty minutes to get gas
- 10:50earlier. There are things in the city that just don't make sense. So
- 10:54the Dolphins losing at home against the Titans actually makes sense because Miami makes no
- 11:01sense. You never know what you don't know. They might be they might
- 11:03be on a really good you know, coke binge, you know, like
- 11:07a South Beach type thing, and they throw up seventy something points, or
- 11:11they wake up the next morning and and their face down in the gutter,
- 11:16and then they lose to the Titans. I think you just actually gave Florida
- 11:22a new slogan, a new a new marketing campaign and everything, you know,
- 11:26instead of Oklahoma is okay Florida. You don't know, Yeah, the
- 11:35uh the state the state motto isn't really words. It's just a shrug.
- 11:41The guy with like a crack pipe hanging out of his mouth. It is
- 11:50Florida. Even the state bird has a mugshot. Yeah, they're in the
- 11:58trims. Visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com. You're listening to the tree
- 12:11House. Visit us online at Treehouse on air dot com. You are back
- 12:18inside the Treehouse Football Podcast. Whatever number it is, we'll figure it out,
- 12:24it doesn't really matter. Ultimately, it's the one before the Bills game.
- 12:28So we covered a little bit of the aftermath of the Cowboys Eagles.
- 12:33Cowboys obviously winning thirty three to thirteen last week against the Eagles. Now we
- 12:39look forward into just a couple of days, another late afternoon game. This
- 12:46time though, this is where the schedule really kicks it up a notch.
- 12:50It was already stepped up with the Eagles matchup, but now now the Cowboys
- 12:56got to go on the road to Buffalo in December take on the Bills,
- 13:01which they've had an interesting season. But the main thing to think of is
- 13:07whatever has happened earlier in the season, Now it's coming down to the end
- 13:11of the season when all the good teams are going to start to rise to
- 13:13the top, and the Bills have started to do that because they're coming off
- 13:18a big emotional win over the Chiefs. So this is a huge test for
- 13:22the Cowboys after the Eagles. So it's going to be interesting to see how
- 13:26the Cowboys can kind of keep that energy level where it needs to be coming
- 13:31off a big division rival win and making sure they maintain that intensity on the
- 13:37road in Buffalo. Yeah, and against a Buffalo team that they're like,
- 13:43I mean, the Cowboys are in the dry there, they can control their
- 13:46own destiny at this point. The Bills, yeah, they're back against the
- 13:48is against the wall to even make the playoffs. I mean Miami has a
- 13:52commanding lead of that of that division. And what the Bills are what like
- 14:00seven and six? That is correct? They are seven and six? Yeah,
- 14:03so and you know it's a team that was in the super Bowl last
- 14:05year and close to winning it and or no I'm sorry AFC championship, but
- 14:11uh yeah, they're a mess. And Josh Allen does not look as good
- 14:16this year as he did last year. It's like he's reverted back a little
- 14:20bit to some of his more reckless things. And that's what I'm looking forward
- 14:26to. I'm hoping that this matchup just looks scarier on paper than what it
- 14:30ends up being on the actual field because a lot of the thing, like
- 14:33you mentioned, Josh Allen's recklessness. If he maintains that, the Cowboys secondary
- 14:39I think is going to eat him up. Oh no doubt, you know
- 14:43even you know, you make him, you know under if they can get
- 14:46pressure on him. He is so far this year shown that he's just not
- 14:50very good. But again, I think moren't anything else. I don't think
- 14:54there's any question that the Cowboys are a better team, but it is coming
- 14:58off a big win traveling up there to God off with Buffalo and I haven't
- 15:05even looked at the weather, but my guess it's gonna be butt ass cold.
- 15:11I think that's the graphic they're gonna show on the Fox pregame. That's
- 15:16why more people watch the Fox pre game than the CBS, because on Fox
- 15:18still put butt ass cold. On the CBS still go ooh, frigid.
- 15:22That's I mean, that is their home field advantage. It's butt ass cold.
- 15:30Yeah, it's kind of like Green Bay. It's like like it's like,
- 15:35what's our home field advantage? You're miserable, that's our advantage. Yeah,
- 15:39that's I mean, who was talking to Oh, they were someone was
- 15:41talking about a friend of mine. We were talking about Kansas City like it
- 15:46was some tropical paradise to play, and they're like supposed to. Kansas City
- 15:50is not a nice place. Like their weather sucks. It's why they don't
- 15:54have a dome and never will. Same thing with Green Bay. Saying with
- 15:56the thing with Buffalo and Giant and all a lot of those teams is that's
- 16:02part of the you know, their home field advantage. It sucks to play
- 16:04there. Mm hm. And with a place like Kansas City when you're stuck
- 16:08right in the middle of the country like that, not only do you get
- 16:12all the heat of the summer, but you get all the cold of winter.
- 16:17So you Kansas City is one of those places because there is no actual
- 16:22terrain. It's it's just flat land, right, it's the planes. So
- 16:26when it's hot, it's hot, and when it's cold, it is cold.
- 16:29There is nowhere to hide and you're just in it. Yeah, and
- 16:33and the wind is just brutal. So so anyway, so Cowboys go to
- 16:37Buffalo take on the seven and six Josh Allen Bills. I am, without
- 16:47getting too far ahead, I'm confident in this game because having been a Cowboys
- 16:53fan for as long as I have and that includes all the way back in
- 16:56the eighties and the nineties, as long as I've been alive, I've seen
- 17:00the good. I've seen the bad, I've seen the ugly, and I've
- 17:03seen I've seen one of the most dangerous emotions as a Cowboys fan multiple times,
- 17:11and that is hope. And the Cowboys are very very good at giving
- 17:18us Cowboys fans hope. And because of that hope, sometimes as Cowboys fans,
- 17:22we can be a little annoying to other fan bases. Because when our
- 17:26team does something good, we're happy. We support our team in doing good
- 17:30things, but we're also in an abusive relationship with our team because they'll give
- 17:37us hope, and then they'll smack us down, but then say they still
- 17:41love us, and then we take them right back and that this the next
- 17:44season again, and then and then it start over. And so what I'm
- 17:47getting at here, in a very long winded way, is we're right back
- 17:51where we are almost every year, which is believing in the team. They
- 17:56finally got me to believe. I was. I was on the skeptical tree
- 18:00the whole way up until that went against the Eagles. I said, if
- 18:04they beat this Eagles team convincingly, then I'll believe that they're legit. Now
- 18:11that I say that, watch them face the forty nine ers in the playoffs
- 18:15and get their asses kicked. I don't know, but at least right now,
- 18:17I think they're legit. I think you described it very well in that
- 18:22it's it's just kind of an abusive relationship. And although I am kind of
- 18:26with you, I think they've changed, and I believe in them, and
- 18:33I have hope for them, and I'm behind them. I'm still gonna flinch
- 18:36a little bit if they raise their hand towards me. As am. I
- 18:44think I think we all do. Like even if you're watching the games in
- 18:47person, the whole like, at some point, everyone in their seats goes,
- 18:51oh, yeah, don't put it on me one more time. Please
- 18:56please don't say it again. Yeah, I get it a double whammy because
- 19:00Texas Longhorns are the same thing. I'm glad you brought that up because since
- 19:04we were not on last week for the Football Show, we didn't get a
- 19:08chance to talk about the college football quote unquote playoff, and once again,
- 19:17that goddamn committee, they just was it really worth it to go to the
- 19:22four team playoff for them to still just kind of pick and choose teams about
- 19:25who get in and then everyone and then no matter what you do, people
- 19:29are pissed off. So it really seems like either you just pick your top
- 19:32two teams and let them play for the title game, or you have an
- 19:36honest to goodness eight team or ten team playoff. Oh I'm just next year
- 19:41and next year it goes to twelve, you know so, and what's gonna
- 19:45happen? The debate is going to be over thirteen fourteen and fifteen who should
- 19:49have got you know, because then you get into seedings and well, yeah,
- 19:53the top two, I think I have a bye the first week.
- 19:56All the other stuff. I will say this, I everyone complained about the
- 20:03old Bowl system, when in point of fact, there really weren't that many
- 20:07years that it was really screwy. And you know, if it was,
- 20:11sometimes you had a split national championship, then you went to the BCS DCS.
- 20:15For the most part, it had a couple of rough years, but
- 20:17it wasn't that bad. Yeah, and this as the last year of the
- 20:22four team you know, it's it was the one time I will give them
- 20:26credit. There was an absolute no win situation, Mike, with the four
- 20:30teams that they put in. They knew they were going to leave out one
- 20:33team that was going to feel extremely slighted. And this year Florida State ate
- 20:38it. Well, I see everyone has jumps on Florida State because they were
- 20:45thirteen to zero. And yes, that is impressive. At the same time,
- 20:52there the committee's job is to put the four best teams into the playoffs.
- 20:56I will say this without their starting quarterback, Florida State, I do
- 20:59not believe it was one of the four best teams and they play in a
- 21:00fairly weak division. The team that I really feel like got screwed was Georgia.
- 21:06You know, they were undefeated, then they lost to Alabama in the
- 21:08SEC Championship game, and then they go from one to five. I feel
- 21:15sorrier for them than I do for Florida State. And I also also it
- 21:21bothers me greatly that Michigan is in there when chances are in a two three
- 21:26years, Michigan's entire season is gonna get wiped out because of this cheating scandal,
- 21:32and you know, so then you have a legitimate question of really should
- 21:34they be in there. I don't know. I'm happy Texas got in.
- 21:38That's where I was headed because I know that whatever the controversy is that you
- 21:42either do or don't want to step in with Michigan and whether or not they
- 21:45should be in there because of all the cheating stuff, at the end of
- 21:48the day, you, as a Longhorn alum, are just giddy that your
- 21:52team is there along with everybody else. And the good news is with with
- 21:56UT being in there, no one's really argue about whether or not UT should
- 22:00be. Everyone seems pretty unanimous that like, yep, No, they're good.
- 22:04There's no question that they should be in there. No, there's not.
- 22:07And you know it. They got the third seed because yeah, they
- 22:12the committee could not put Alabama before Texas and and so they you know,
- 22:18Texas got the three seed. I don't know the Pack ten or the PAC
- 22:22twelve. Is the one conference just a lot of it. Due to of
- 22:26time zones, I seldom ever watch. I've seen a little bit of Washington.
- 22:30I know they're good. I've got my fingers crossed. I was shocked
- 22:33that Texas got in. I just didn't. I thought they'd be on the
- 22:37outside looking in. So I'm thrilled and I just and as a Longhorns fan,
- 22:41I think I think you'd much rather face off against Washington than Alabama,
- 22:47especially because did you see the reaction video of Michigan's team announced that they drew
- 22:53Alabama. Oh my god, Yeah, I've seen more joy at a nurse
- 23:00sing home. Yeah, that's uh. When they announced those they that was
- 23:06funny because they were like, oh yeah, wait, wait, wait,
- 23:07we're supposed to clap. Oh god, why, I'm sorry. Based on
- 23:12that reaction right there, I'd be putting a lot of money on Alabama to
- 23:17win that game, because in that moment, Michigan doesn't even feel like they
- 23:19can beat Alabama. It's like Jesus Christ, guys, and Michigan's track record,
- 23:26didn't they I mean, they got trounced by TCU last year, so
- 23:29that'll be interesting. But and you know, I would love to see a
- 23:33Texas Alabama rematch in the National Championship. And trust me, so at Alabama
- 23:37Alabama would love nothing more than to take out than to take out Michigan and
- 23:42to get some vengeance on your Longhorns on the way to a national title.
- 23:47And I will say this, and I feel like you would agree with me.
- 23:52Having to play not only Alabama, but having to play against Nick Saban
- 23:56twice in the same year is extremely daunting, especially if you beat him the
- 24:02first time. Oh not only you beat him the first time, you gave
- 24:06him his worst home loss in his career. So yes, I I absolutely
- 24:10it. It. It scares me to no end the thought of that,
- 24:14but at least it I love the fact that if that happens, especially right
- 24:21as they're going into the SEC, that that it makes it look really good
- 24:27that you know they're they're playing another set SEC team for the National Championships.
- 24:34It kisses the agis off so bad. There it is, there's there's there's
- 24:41the cherry on top for tray. Oh yeah, no, it's it's funny
- 24:45because you know, A and M fires Jimbo and they're paying them ninety five
- 24:48million, and then they go and actually, actually, Aggie might be the
- 24:52best hire you've had since you got rid of RC slocum. It's not sexy,
- 24:56it's but good quality, fundamental coach might might actually do well. But
- 25:02it cracks me up to no end that already A and M's rallying point isn't
- 25:07new coach, isn't anything. What their rallying point now is Texas is back
- 25:12on our schedule. It's like the boogeyman that they hate now back in their
- 25:18lives. And my word mark my words. And so I think this current
- 25:26whole bull system has got about a ten year lifespan. When it so in
- 25:30about twenty thirty, they'll start, you know, conference realignment, people start
- 25:33talking about, you know, moving com A and M will be the first
- 25:37one to leave the SEC and get get away from Texas again. You think,
- 25:41so absolutely, So what you're getting at is that A and M is
- 25:45going to live out the whole careful what you wish for thing. A and
- 25:51M. You know, they blew up every A lot of this conference realignment
- 25:56started because A and M. Although every knew as well as anyone that Texas
- 26:00was getting the Longhorn Network. Now, granted, Texas handled that poorly,
- 26:06but A and M knew it, and then they waited for it, and
- 26:08then they decided, oh, we're leaving. You know, we're tired of
- 26:11big brother picking on us. We're moving to the SEC. But the thing
- 26:15about it is they've suffered the same fade in the SEC that they did in
- 26:18the Big Twelve that they did in Southwest Conference. They have one good year
- 26:22they won the first year of the Big Twelve, weren't really a factor ever
- 26:26since first year in the SEC, you have Johnny Manziel, new coach.
- 26:30They no tape on them, They beat Alabama, they don't really do anything.
- 26:34They ended up I think, playing in the Cotton Bowl, but it
- 26:37was still that's the season, you know, and Manziel won the Heisman and
- 26:40they were back. And since then they just they've been aggie and it cost
- 26:48them ninety five million. Yeah, yaggy, it's got to make you feel
- 26:52good when when the Texas Xes give you a call or they send you your
- 26:56annual letter for your contribution back to back to the school, and you're thinking,
- 27:02you're just glad that you're not writing this to Jimbo Fisher, like so
- 27:04many Aggie alums are, Oh, this is a They really didn't publicize this,
- 27:11but at that last game, after they had fired Jimbo, the alumni
- 27:17associate the whatever they call their twelfth Man I think it's actually the twelfth Man
- 27:22Foundation, which is they're basically athletic booster alumni club handed the ADA check for
- 27:26one hundred and sixty one million. So basically they just said hey, and
- 27:30they do they have it. Only my only school has more money in A
- 27:33and M right now is Texas both a lot of oil money. But you
- 27:40know, basically saying yeah, we're paying for ninety four and you know,
- 27:44here's you know, an advance or your next screw up. That really does
- 27:48seem like an Aggie thing. We're already planning for our next failure. Yeah,
- 27:52that's you know what like I said from you know, they FRANCIONI whatever,
- 27:59the someone to this one. You know, they they've gone out and
- 28:03hired these big name coaches that if you go back and look at their their
- 28:07track record, they had one good year and they the coaches capitalize on it.
- 28:11And in point of fact, they really weren't very good coaches, and
- 28:15they've pissed away a whole bunch of money. That's what getting the guy from
- 28:18Duke. It's actually probably it's not sexy, but it's a good hire.
- 28:22I think it's smart because what they what they were bringing in before was sort
- 28:26of the equivalent of a house flipper, and what they need is someone long
- 28:32term to actually, you know, build something from the ground up, as
- 28:34opposed to coming in and just changing out, you know, the fixtures.
- 28:37Well they're there. They were all honestly, the the nerd dating the really
- 28:41hot girl. She's going to leave you sooner or later, you know,
- 28:45and she looks good, but it's not good. And that's that. They've
- 28:48now gone out and they've you know, if Aggie is you know, a
- 28:52middle aged frumpy guy, they went out and just kind of got a middle
- 28:53aged frumpy woman and they make they might make a nice couple. At least
- 28:59no one's going to look at him go what are you doing with him?
- 29:02Yeah, at least now it makes sense now Now they can actually you know,
- 29:06hop in their RV travel around all the national parks together, and it
- 29:08all makes sense, and they'll probably have a nice, long, happy relationship
- 29:14because of it. Now it's A and M. They'll still still find a
- 29:18way A and M. A and M, you know, is the fifty
- 29:21year old guy who still thinks he's you know, twenty two and hot,
- 29:26although he never was. So you're saying that A and M is still going
- 29:29to end up like cousin Eddie with the toilet outside. Uh huh, screaming
- 29:33at Texas the shitter's full. We need to make that little graphic with a
- 29:53different team logos on the Christmas Vacation movie. Oh yeah, little videos where
- 30:00you put like the A and M single but Eddie and the Texas. Yeah,
- 30:03yeah, the Texas is Clark inside and the Todd who comes out to
- 30:07go running when he smells what Eddie's doing. That's probably I don't know,
- 30:11Baylor or TCU or somebody, And it actually would be fitting because you know,
- 30:15then Texas, you know, plugging in the Christmas lights, you know,
- 30:18and going completely over the top and frying themselves. That would be very
- 30:22apropos as well, I love it, all right. I know what I'm
- 30:26doing this weekend, all right. Thanks for hanging out with us in the
- 30:27treehouse for the football podcast coming up next tomorrow. Hoped in for the Friday
- 30:33episode. Always fun to do that. We will see you next time right
