- 0:01Speaker 1: Sunday in week seven, wrapping up, Welcome to the Favorites.
- 0:12Speaker 1: I'm your host, Brandon Kravitz, joined by my fellow capadres
- 0:16Speaker 1: Kendra Middleton and Stuckey. The Prime Minister is here. We
- 0:20Speaker 1: have a lot to discuss. We're gonna go We're gonna
- 0:23Speaker 1: attempt to go game by game here, We're gonna hop
- 0:25Speaker 1: off before we dip into Falcons versus Niners and Sunday
- 0:30Speaker 1: Night Football. First to recap on the two Kings and
- 0:32Speaker 1: a Queen, Parlay Brown's Money, Chargers Gross and the Titans.
- 0:40Speaker 1: What the fuck was that? Kendra? What do you have
- 0:45Speaker 1: to say for yourself?
- 0:46Speaker 2: I honestly don't feel bad because I also pushed for
- 0:49Speaker 2: the Panthers and you guys wanted to take the Vikings
- 0:54Speaker 2: over the Eagles, So I feel like my hands are
- 0:56Speaker 2: clean here.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I've hit mine.
- 0:58Speaker 2: The last couple of weeks up ends I. But here's
- 1:01Speaker 2: the thing I stood on business. I told you guys
- 1:04Speaker 2: this entire season, in the first coach to go, I
- 1:07Speaker 2: was going to have to back the team next week.
- 1:08Speaker 3: So either I was a fraud then or I'm a
- 1:11Speaker 3: fraud now. You take a pick. I saw had a
- 1:12Speaker 3: profitable day I'm happy.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Okay. The Chargers were a team that we've backed the
- 1:18Speaker 1: last couple of weeks. They let us down big time today.
- 1:23Speaker 1: This is a Jaggs podcast. They were horrendous, stucky. I
- 1:27Speaker 1: know this is one of your best bets of the day.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I can't imagine you're feeling too good as we sit
- 1:32Speaker 1: here right now.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Yeah, that Chargers tough.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It was.
- 1:37Speaker 4: The Cults were amazing. I thought I loved how they
- 1:40Speaker 4: were aggressive on fourth downs early in that game too,
- 1:42Speaker 4: really just took control the charters, offensive line injuries or killer.
- 1:47Speaker 4: I underestimated them, but I thought the Chargers defense would
- 1:49Speaker 4: perform better than that. It's clear wrong call, it was.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I also had the Jets. I also had the Vikings.
- 1:58Speaker 4: The Vikings was for uh, the way that that ended.
- 2:01Speaker 1: They should have covered that.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, look, Hurts was amazing. I mean he
- 2:06Speaker 4: was incredible the entire like just all their the long passes. A. J.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Brown was great, but he was awesome. I mean they
- 2:13Speaker 4: couldn't run the ball again, and uh, I mean some
- 2:17Speaker 4: of the third and the third and longs the fourth
- 2:19Speaker 4: down touchdown, but uh, it was, it was it was
- 2:23Speaker 4: the wrong call.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Uh.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Jets was ugly so yeah, I had Uh, I had
- 2:29Speaker 4: a bad day happens, but it was uh, it was
- 2:33Speaker 4: a rough call, I take I take full responsibility as
- 2:37Speaker 4: as always for all all of the bad calls, but
- 2:39Speaker 4: uh Chargers, Yeah give give. One of the reasons is
- 2:43Speaker 4: I thought the Colts and Daniel Jones were more likely
- 2:46Speaker 4: to make mistakes than the Chargers, and actually the opposite
- 2:50Speaker 4: turn out to be true. But the Colts did whatever
- 2:53Speaker 4: they wanted on offense the entire game, and the Chargers
- 2:58Speaker 4: had no recourse. So yeah, they were the well deserved winner.
- 3:02Speaker 1: The part of your cats, well, they were disgusting. I
- 3:06Speaker 1: mean they kicked off in these ugly highlighter yellows. I
- 3:10Speaker 1: figure they they were kind of behind the eight ball
- 3:13Speaker 1: with that. The Colts hadn't beaten anybody legit to this point,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and I think that this is the This was the
- 3:22Speaker 1: the Colts are real win. This is the one where
- 3:25Speaker 1: we have to stop with the I mean it's not
- 3:28Speaker 1: like we have to bet on the Colts every week,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but we have to at least acknowledge that this is
- 3:32Speaker 1: a real football team moving forward.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Yeah, they're a real contender in the AFC. I mean,
- 3:36Speaker 4: look that. In fairness, they also arguably should have beat
- 3:39Speaker 4: the Rams. Uh, and the Rams are clearly very good.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Earlier this year they had the you know, the drop
- 3:46Speaker 4: of the one. They had the other touchdown call back.
- 3:49Speaker 4: So yeah, in the AFC, if you go down the
- 3:54Speaker 4: pecking order, I mean you still win. The Bills, Ravens
- 4:00Speaker 4: and Chiefs are healthy, like they're still at the top.
- 4:02Speaker 4: But the Colts are not there. They're right there. I
- 4:07Speaker 4: think they're there next that in the next.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Year, I have them above.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I mean, the Chiefs didn't look spectacular today. I get
- 4:15Speaker 2: that they won, but the Raiders just honestly beat themselves
- 4:19Speaker 2: in that game. I would have the Colts above them,
- 4:20Speaker 2: and I would have them above the Ravens right now.
- 4:23Speaker 4: I mean, what would you want the Chiefs to do
- 4:25Speaker 4: they had they were up thirty one? Nothing again?
- 4:27Speaker 3: Oh I get it. No, I'm not. I'm not ragging
- 4:29Speaker 3: on the Chiefs at all.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I'm just saying if they played each other this weekend,
- 4:33Speaker 2: I would probably hop on the Colts or in like
- 4:35Speaker 2: a power ranking situation right now, I would probably have
- 4:38Speaker 2: the Colts above them.
- 4:40Speaker 4: But Mahomes did look great today. He was what twenty
- 4:44Speaker 4: six or thirty five? Three touchdowns? He saw the impact
- 4:46Speaker 4: of Rice who had two touchdowns too, so had.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Any time hit for me? That was nice.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yeah, the they did have a couple offensive line injuries
- 4:58Speaker 4: worth noting just to knock off a couple other injuries
- 5:04Speaker 4: just for people out there, like some key ones. Let's
- 5:08Speaker 4: see Panthers Bryce Young, he left, Jet Saw Scardner I
- 5:13Speaker 4: think I saw left, the Titans Simmons, Jeffrey Simmons left.
- 5:16Speaker 4: I mean they're defense without Jeffrey Simmons is a joke.
- 5:19Speaker 4: And the same with the Raiders defense without Max Crosby
- 5:21Speaker 4: who left. Eagles had a couple of injuries. Cam Jurgens
- 5:26Speaker 4: I think left to Dori Jackson and Jeli Saints McCoy,
- 5:30Speaker 4: Alonte Taylor left, and then the Dolphins I think down
- 5:34Speaker 4: Darren Waller. There's a couple of the ones, but those
- 5:37Speaker 4: are something to note. But the the big ones on defense,
- 5:41Speaker 4: Crosby and Simmons, like those are two guys on bad
- 5:43Speaker 4: defenses where they're like the only guy and you take
- 5:46Speaker 4: them out, it's like everything crumbles. So, uh, those are
- 5:51Speaker 4: two worth noting going forward. But the Raiders are like
- 5:56Speaker 4: there's a lot of bad teams in the NFL this year.
- 5:58Speaker 4: I can't believe how just tough of a watch they
- 6:02Speaker 4: are every single week. I didn't think it would be
- 6:04Speaker 4: this bad.
- 6:05Speaker 1: It was the most lopsided blowout that the Chiefs have
- 6:09Speaker 1: ever had against the Las Vegas Raiders. That's how all
- 6:13Speaker 1: time bad. That performance was one of the games that
- 6:15Speaker 1: just wrapped before we went live here Broncos Giants. The
- 6:20Speaker 1: Broncos beat the Giants thirty three to thirty two. The
- 6:23Speaker 1: Giants had a ten point lead and the ball with
- 6:26Speaker 1: four forty five to play, and still found a way
- 6:30Speaker 1: to lose this game.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Drafted I'm thirty three points in the fourth quarter.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Thirty three to thirteen. They were outscored in the final frame.
- 6:38Speaker 1: The Broncos got as high as sixty to one before
- 6:42Speaker 1: they wrapped up their comeback. I don't know exactly when
- 6:45Speaker 1: that happened. My guess would be that it was when
- 6:48Speaker 1: Jackson Dart dove into the end zone before the extra
- 6:52Speaker 1: point was missed. I would think that's probably because if
- 6:54Speaker 1: they if the extra point is good when we're probably
- 6:58Speaker 1: not having this discussion, but here we are.
- 7:02Speaker 4: No. The best thing that happened too, I mean, first
- 7:05Speaker 4: of all, that what an incredible meltdown. The Giants allowed
- 7:11Speaker 4: thirty three points in the fourth quarter. The only time
- 7:13Speaker 4: team has ever scored more points is in two thousand
- 7:15Speaker 4: and seven, the line scored thirty four against the Bears,
- 7:18Speaker 4: and one thirty seven twenty seven I think was the
- 7:22Speaker 4: final score that so they basically came one point away
- 7:25Speaker 4: from the most points ever in the history of the
- 7:27Speaker 4: NFL in the fourth quarter, and then you lose by
- 7:31Speaker 4: one because you missed two extra points. But the best
- 7:34Speaker 4: thing that happened to the Broncos looking back is Sean
- 7:42Speaker 4: Payton running onto the field and getting that personal foul
- 7:48Speaker 4: which moved the ball another yard. And if because if
- 7:53Speaker 4: dark doesn't get in on the first like they reviewed
- 7:58Speaker 4: it and then they said that he got in. I
- 8:00Speaker 4: mean he did by like an inch. If he doesn't
- 8:02Speaker 4: get in, the clock keeps running, the Giants would have
- 8:04Speaker 4: been no. Obviously, you just have to score, but the
- 8:07Speaker 4: Giants would have been much better off. I think he
- 8:09Speaker 4: came up like three inches short and then they ran
- 8:12Speaker 4: some more clock and then insane. I have no words
- 8:18Speaker 4: for how the Giants didn't win that game of nineteen
- 8:21Speaker 4: to nothing in the fourth quarter against that Broncos offense,
- 8:25Speaker 4: and then they give up thirty three points to bow
- 8:27Speaker 4: knicks in the fourth quarter. Is that's a gut punch?
- 8:31Speaker 4: I mean, the Giants were playing so well. First of all,
- 8:33Speaker 4: that that drive that they had was amazing. I know
- 8:37Speaker 4: that there was penalties to help it, but I thought
- 8:39Speaker 4: that they were dead in the water. To get up
- 8:41Speaker 4: off the mat, take the lead again and then miss
- 8:44Speaker 4: an extra point and lose. That is that? And then
- 8:48Speaker 4: the Cardinals against the Titans are two of like the
- 8:51Speaker 4: biggest gut punch losses I can ever remember.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yeah, there have been some bad beats this season, Kendra.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Are the Giants the Aura rific even though they lost?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Between Jackson Dart and Cam Scataboo, is this the Aura
- 9:08Speaker 1: team of the year.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yes, we were talking about this before we got on
- 9:13Speaker 2: the show. I'm obsessed with Kevon Thibodeau. I love those two.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Scatabo's gonna have such a short career with how he plays,
- 9:19Speaker 2: but they're just so fun, so entertaining, so mimable. I
- 9:23Speaker 2: have to say, in an Aura off between them and
- 9:25Speaker 2: the Colts, it has to be them.
- 9:27Speaker 3: But Daniel Jones is getting out there for me. I
- 9:29Speaker 3: have to say.
- 9:30Speaker 2: It's getting pretty close, but I don't think I can
- 9:32Speaker 2: take it away. From the New York Giants.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Let's give out our goats and votes of the day.
- 9:38Speaker 1: My goat is Daniel Jones teammate Jonathan Taylor. The guy
- 9:42Speaker 1: can't be stopped. Eight touchdowns on the year, he leads
- 9:45Speaker 1: the NFL in touchdowns. He's a legit MVP candidate. Daniel
- 9:49Speaker 1: Jones has been great to me, the MVP of that team,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and one of the MVPs of the league has been
- 9:54Speaker 1: Jonathan Taylor. And my vote is Carson Wentz. I hate him.
- 9:58Speaker 1: He costs me a lot of money today, What about you?
- 10:01Speaker 3: My goat is gonna be Matt Stafford.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I just he's so old and so incredible, and I
- 10:09Speaker 2: was low key cheering for him at points today.
- 10:12Speaker 3: And my wote.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I don't know if it's BTJ or Cam Little or
- 10:17Speaker 2: Liam Cohen. I think I'm just gonna go with Liam
- 10:19Speaker 2: Cohen because some of the decision making today was insane.
- 10:22Speaker 2: They're so undisciplined. I don't know where to point any
- 10:24Speaker 2: fingers anymore. That's that's got to be it for me.
- 10:28Speaker 3: I woke up.
- 10:29Speaker 2: After being out all night last night, working for hours
- 10:32Speaker 2: and hours today before getting on a flight to watch
- 10:34Speaker 2: that game, Like, are we joking, and.
- 10:37Speaker 1: You know it's ironic because this felt like Travis Hunter's
- 10:40Speaker 1: come out This was his coming out party, and it
- 10:44Speaker 1: was just only relevant if you bet his props or
- 10:48Speaker 1: you had him in fantasy. Because the Jags were trashed
- 10:51Speaker 1: today and the Rams you could just tell early on
- 10:54Speaker 1: they went up and down the field at ease, at will,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and the Jags defense had a hard time getting footing
- 10:59Speaker 1: on that field. Old Stafford just looks so comfortable, No Poka,
- 11:02Speaker 1: no problem. I don't know where we go, I know,
- 11:07Speaker 1: and like all these things that we track that matter,
- 11:10Speaker 1: that matter to us, it just all flew out the window.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I don't know what we do with this team, Kendrick,
- 11:17Speaker 1: because they just don't. They don't feel real. At this point.
- 11:19Speaker 1: That Chiefs Monday Night football win feels years ago. At
- 11:23Speaker 1: this point, I.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Have to say, I do feel a little vindicated and
- 11:27Speaker 2: trapping you guys into this emotionally abusive relationship.
- 11:30Speaker 3: I've been in for my entire life.
- 11:32Speaker 2: So typically Jags, for them to sink their claws in you,
- 11:37Speaker 2: only to just rip your heart out when they fall
- 11:40Speaker 2: back to reality. So fun, so entertaining for five weeks
- 11:45Speaker 2: and now here we are same old Jags.
- 11:47Speaker 3: They showed me who they are. So I'm gonna listen.
- 11:49Speaker 3: I'm over this team. It's done. They're dead to me.
- 11:53Speaker 3: I'm over it.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Well a good we don't have to bet them next week.
- 11:55Speaker 1: They're on a buye in Week eight. Stuck here.
- 11:57Speaker 4: I still think they'll be okay. I think that I
- 11:59Speaker 4: thought they were going to be like a nine win team.
- 12:01Speaker 4: I think that's still who they are. I mean today
- 12:04Speaker 4: wasn't as bad as it looked in the box score.
- 12:08Speaker 4: I mean, look, they out gained They out gained the
- 12:11Speaker 4: Rams by one hundred yards. The Rams only had four
- 12:12Speaker 4: point four yards per play. They got killed on penalties
- 12:16Speaker 4: and then fourth downs. I mean that's a lot of times.
- 12:19Speaker 4: You can look at the NFL.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Games we get in week out. Yeah, penalties.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Now you can look at NFL games and they're like
- 12:26Speaker 4: they come down to how did you do on fourth downs?
- 12:28Speaker 4: Turn turnovers? Like I had four bets today. The teams
- 12:34Speaker 4: I bet against one eleven to thirteen on fourth down.
- 12:35Speaker 4: I always tracked this and no minus eight turnovers the
- 12:38Speaker 4: teams I won bets on the Cowboys, the Browns, like
- 12:42Speaker 4: they got a bunch of turnovers and didn't have bad
- 12:46Speaker 4: fourth down variants. So yeah, they got to clean up
- 12:49Speaker 4: some of the penalties. They missed Devin Lloyd the day
- 12:51Speaker 4: they do miss Breton Strange I think in the red
- 12:53Speaker 4: zone two.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Yeah, they did those two real, real momentum swingers.
- 12:58Speaker 4: But the Rams are a good team. And the Jags lost.
- 13:01Speaker 4: They were I mean, the penalties and fourth down variance
- 13:03Speaker 4: killed them, but they didn't get like dominated statistically, as
- 13:07Speaker 4: a thirty five to seven lead would indicate or like
- 13:14Speaker 4: lead you to believe if you just looked at the
- 13:15Speaker 4: at the final score. But the Rams, I mean, the
- 13:19Speaker 4: Rams easily could be undefeated this year. I mean they
- 13:23Speaker 4: should have beat the Eagles up twenty six to seven.
- 13:26Speaker 4: You have the blocked fuel goal, and then they lost
- 13:28Speaker 4: to the Niners in overtime, and they I mean arguably
- 13:33Speaker 4: should have won that game. So yeah, the Rams are
- 13:36Speaker 4: certainly real. And the other crazy game today was the Cardinals.
- 13:41Speaker 4: I mean, I gotta give the Cardinals credit. The Cardinals
- 13:44Speaker 4: are like because they keep having all these bad things
- 13:48Speaker 4: happen to them and they keep picking themselves off the mat.
- 13:54Speaker 4: The Cardinals remind me of there was like a colts
- 13:58Speaker 4: team a couple of years ago. I mean, maybe it
- 14:02Speaker 4: was like two years they have, Jacob, I don't know,
- 14:05Speaker 4: I forget maybe they every single one of their games
- 14:08Speaker 4: like was a one possession game for the entire season.
- 14:13Speaker 4: But that's the Cardinals have played nothing but one possession games.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Like they easily could be five and two and they're
- 14:21Speaker 4: two and five. I mean, their losses are by four, one,
- 14:25Speaker 4: three and what else? Uh and four and four? So
- 14:30Speaker 4: is that what do they have to they how many?
- 14:32Speaker 4: What's their record right now? Mike counting one wrong? Two
- 14:35Speaker 4: and five? So there their losses are by yeah, I
- 14:38Speaker 4: think I'll combined thirteen points. Some are somewhere around there.
- 14:44Speaker 4: So like they've been in every single game and they've
- 14:48Speaker 4: just come up. They mean, they've been unlucky overall. I mean,
- 14:52Speaker 4: so we'll say they're at at the Cowboys next is
- 14:57Speaker 4: that next Monday night? The Cardinals are on a buy,
- 15:02Speaker 4: so they have a buy to regroup, which is they
- 15:03Speaker 4: need they need to get healthy. But it does seem
- 15:06Speaker 4: like the offense opera like Brissette has like a better
- 15:10Speaker 4: handle on the offense. I don't know, we'll see they
- 15:15Speaker 4: need to get healthier, but we'll see if they can
- 15:16Speaker 4: regroup out of the buy because they've certainly been right
- 15:18Speaker 4: there in every single game this year. Uh, but Michael
- 15:22Speaker 4: Parsons ends up their first career three second game. He
- 15:25Speaker 4: was he was incredible all.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Day, toe to toe with the Packers and the Colts.
- 15:29Speaker 1: It's not a bad little resume over the last two weeks.
- 15:32Speaker 1: What about you goats and votes for this weekendotes?
- 15:37Speaker 4: My vote is me. I'm a two and five, so
- 15:39Speaker 4: what will always be me when I have a losing day?
- 15:43Speaker 4: But it's Hockinson. We're not holding onto that ball fat.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I mean, it was a tough catch, but goat would
- 15:51Speaker 4: be I mean, Dak Trescott. People aren't given enough credit
- 15:57Speaker 4: for how well he's playing. A lot of people are
- 15:58Speaker 4: talking about Baker Mayfield, rightfully so, and a lot of
- 16:01Speaker 4: people are talking about Sam Darnold. But I don't know
- 16:04Speaker 4: if there's anyone playing as well as Dak Prescott. Oh,
- 16:08Speaker 4: I should have mentioned in the injuries Dad Daniels. Obviously
- 16:10Speaker 4: for Washington, we'll get We'll have to wait for an
- 16:14Speaker 4: update on what happened there. And it's also where some
- 16:18Speaker 4: of the Chiefs injuries could have been precautionary. But Prescott
- 16:21Speaker 4: is playing at an unbelievable level. I mean he's back
- 16:25Speaker 4: to like his peak. I don't even know if he's
- 16:28Speaker 4: ever played this well. He was awesome again today, clean,
- 16:34Speaker 4: and that offense is humming on all cylinders. The defense
- 16:41Speaker 4: is still bad, very bad, Like they're just gonna be
- 16:43Speaker 4: in shootouts and it's gonna come down to like a
- 16:46Speaker 4: lot of endgame stuff. But that offense, especially at home,
- 16:51Speaker 4: is a force to be reckoned with and was in
- 16:55Speaker 4: fairness today, like part of the reason they won today.
- 16:57Speaker 4: His Washington's offense was it a shell unit. I mean
- 17:01Speaker 4: they're throwing to Robbie Chosen like every other play Chris Moore.
- 17:08Speaker 4: So and yeah, so that Washington offense not in the
- 17:13Speaker 4: best shape, which definitely helped the Dallas defense. But credit
- 17:17Speaker 4: to Dak Prescox, he's playing at an MVP level.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So Sunday Night Football, we're gonna give a quick read
- 17:23Speaker 1: on that before we hop off. We've got fifteen minutes
- 17:26Speaker 1: left with you and then we have a show parlay.
- 17:29Speaker 1: But I'm setting rules for the Monday Night Football parlay.
- 17:33Speaker 1: There's two games, but we can't veto anybody's pick, so
- 17:36Speaker 1: it's just one nomination and that's what we're rolling with,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and we'll get to that to wrap the episode, I
- 17:43Speaker 1: feel like, if we're talking wotes worst of all time.
- 17:45Speaker 1: By the way, for those that are unaware, how do
- 17:48Speaker 1: you not talk about the Miami Dolphins. And we thought
- 17:52Speaker 1: that weather was going to be this huge factor today
- 17:55Speaker 1: it seemed like it was pretty windy. The rain wasn't
- 17:58Speaker 1: as bad as four k to at least not during
- 18:01Speaker 1: the game. The Dolphins offense was awful. Two was twelve
- 18:06Speaker 1: of twenty three one hundred yards, three interceptions. D Eskridge
- 18:10Speaker 1: was their best receiver Jalen Waddle. He has completely checked
- 18:13Speaker 1: out on the season, one catch for fifteen yards. The
- 18:17Speaker 1: Dolphins converted one third down on the entire day, and
- 18:22Speaker 1: they made the Browns look like world beaters. Kendra, does
- 18:26Speaker 1: Mike McDaniel have a job come tomorrow?
- 18:31Speaker 3: I feel like no.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I looked up their schedule earlier and I can't remember
- 18:35Speaker 2: who they have on deck. But I don't really care.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I know you guys were all over this, but I
- 18:39Speaker 2: don't really care. I feel like this is the best
- 18:41Speaker 2: time in their schedule to probably fire him. Yeahs the
- 18:44Speaker 2: Cleveland Browns, it's the easiest one that you're gonna take.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Just take it and walk away. Take the gift that
- 18:49Speaker 2: God has given you. Let that man out of jail.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Let him go find a job somewhere else. Their schedule
- 18:54Speaker 2: would be Falcons, Ravens, Bills, Commanders. Your next opportunity to
- 19:00Speaker 2: fire him is going to be November thirtieth against the Saints.
- 19:02Speaker 2: You can't fire him after he gets his ass beat
- 19:05Speaker 2: by any of these other teams.
- 19:06Speaker 3: This is a bad team.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Let him take the yell and walk away like this
- 19:10Speaker 2: is your time to rub your hands, walk away clean
- 19:13Speaker 2: break you just even what what happens if he hangs
- 19:16Speaker 2: in some of these next couple of games out of
- 19:18Speaker 2: nowhere too, then you just keep delaying the inevitable.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Stuck. Where do you land on this?
- 19:24Speaker 4: It's funny if you look at that, if you look
- 19:27Speaker 4: at that box with the Browns only afterge two pointy
- 19:29Speaker 4: yards for play, they had two hundred and two yards. Uh,
- 19:33Speaker 4: they actually were out gained by Miami. Uh.
- 19:35Speaker 1: You never didn't have to do anything, I know, it
- 19:38Speaker 1: was just the bus.
- 19:41Speaker 4: No, it's just funny that the Browns scored thirty one points.
- 19:43Speaker 4: But like they their offense literally didn't have to do
- 19:46Speaker 4: much at all. I mean the two a throw when
- 19:48Speaker 4: he was getting pressured in the end zone where he
- 19:51Speaker 4: threw it literally right to a defender. Was like, you
- 19:58Speaker 4: don't even see rookies do that, And yeah, I don't
- 20:05Speaker 4: like this team is a disaster. They need they need to.
- 20:08Speaker 4: It's also managed their run so poorly by Career, Like
- 20:13Speaker 4: and he I think he's the longest standing GM. Could
- 20:18Speaker 4: that be correct? I think so in the league. Let
- 20:22Speaker 4: me see how many years it's been.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I would think the Packers GM has been around a while, so.
- 20:29Speaker 4: He's been the GM since we're not GM. Who uh, yeah,
- 20:37Speaker 4: I thought I thought Career was there for longer. I mean,
- 20:40Speaker 4: he's been there since two thousand, but I guess he
- 20:45Speaker 4: wasn't GM until twenty fifteen. But regardless, like the way
- 20:49Speaker 4: that this team is run and they haven't won a
- 20:51Speaker 4: playoff game since when you would know, I don't know
- 20:52Speaker 4: two thousand and two three.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I was actually at the last playoff game they won
- 20:58Speaker 1: and I was in high school. So that was in
- 21:01Speaker 1: two thousand against Peyton Manning and the Colts by the way,
- 21:04Speaker 1: if you ever want to do some bar trivia on that.
- 21:08Speaker 4: So, but like they're run so poorly, all.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Right, Well, Lars Smith was the star running back.
- 21:14Speaker 4: It's like December thirtieth two thousand.
- 21:17Speaker 3: You guys, yeah, I was like four years old.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Yeah, the but no, so they're so poorly run. They
- 21:29Speaker 4: just need to I don't know if then then they know.
- 21:31Speaker 1: How to do it.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Like they draft poorly their their trades. This offseason, we're
- 21:36Speaker 4: head scratching. The roster construction is so bad because if
- 21:40Speaker 4: you look at this team right now, what there's like
- 21:44Speaker 4: just look at this team on paper, what is good?
- 21:48Speaker 4: Their offensive line is a train wreck, which is where
- 21:53Speaker 4: you build teams. You mentioned the Colts, and like giving
- 21:55Speaker 4: credit to Taylor and Jones, stiking deserves credit. Their offensive
- 21:59Speaker 4: line is also deserves a ton of credit for the Colts.
- 22:02Speaker 4: I they I mean, they're they're paid in the way
- 22:04Speaker 4: for Taylor, Towel's incredible, and Jones is sitting back there,
- 22:06Speaker 4: no one's touching him. To look at the go look
- 22:09Speaker 4: at the Dolphins try to block someone. Their offensive line
- 22:11Speaker 4: has been built so bad, and then go on the
- 22:13Speaker 4: defensive side of the ball, like they've assembled the worst
- 22:17Speaker 4: secondary in the league. So they like they just have
- 22:22Speaker 4: nothing going for them. So yeah, I mean, I don't
- 22:26Speaker 4: like fire and McDaniel. I don't even know what does
- 22:28Speaker 4: it do, Like I don't know.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Comp with you. They're gonna do it just because that's
- 22:32Speaker 1: what's done. But it's foolish, it doesn't accomplish anything. He's
- 22:37Speaker 1: not the problem, actually, like the rosters the problem. Yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 1: but I.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Mean he does seem like he I will say that
- 22:44Speaker 4: it seems like he's he's checked out and he said,
- 22:49Speaker 4: I know, so I'm just saying, like, maybe you need
- 22:53Speaker 4: another voice in there. I do think McDaniel would be
- 22:58Speaker 4: just such a better coordinator. Maybe then a head coach
- 23:01Speaker 4: like he yeah, maybe that's that would fit him better.
- 23:03Speaker 4: I don't know who am I to say, but it's
- 23:07Speaker 4: it's a mess. They're like, don't I don't even know
- 23:12Speaker 4: where you would start to just blow that whole thing up,
- 23:15Speaker 4: But that's what needs to happen.
- 23:17Speaker 1: The Favorites podcast has teamed up with DraftKings sportsbook, where
- 23:20Speaker 1: new customers can bet five dollars and get three hundred
- 23:23Speaker 1: dollars back in bonus bets if your bet wins. And
- 23:25Speaker 1: that's not all. DraftKings is also giving away three months
- 23:29Speaker 1: of NBA League Pass to new customers to get started.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Use the promo code Favorites. When signing up with DraftKings again,
- 23:36Speaker 1: use the promo code favorites. When signing up, bet five
- 23:38Speaker 1: dollars and get three hundred back in bonus bets. If
- 23:41Speaker 1: your bet wins plus three months of NBA League Pass,
- 23:45Speaker 1: the crown is yours. All right, let's dig into it.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Sunday Night Football. We've got the Falcons and the forty
- 23:52Speaker 1: nine Ers. Forty nine Ers favored by a point and
- 23:56Speaker 1: a half over at DraftKings. I want to be on
- 23:59Speaker 1: the Falcons tonight so bad. I think partly because it's
- 24:03Speaker 1: Sunday Night Football and I just like having something on
- 24:05Speaker 1: the game. The Falcons have been great. The problem is
- 24:08Speaker 1: is that if the just betting psychology, this is going
- 24:13Speaker 1: to be the chase my loss is pick of the week,
- 24:17Speaker 1: and that is usually disaster for recreational betters out there.
- 24:22Speaker 1: So I'm cautioning myself. I would caution those out there.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna sit and wait, and if the forty
- 24:28Speaker 1: nine Ers go up by a touchdown, I'll take the
- 24:31Speaker 1: Falcons plus the points. But otherwise I want to be
- 24:35Speaker 1: on the Falcons. I just can't get there. What about you, guys, Kendra,
- 24:37Speaker 1: where do you sit on the Sunday Night game? Quick read?
- 24:40Speaker 1: We have to make some Monday night football parlays as well.
- 24:43Speaker 2: I also want to be on the Falcons, and I
- 24:45Speaker 2: know that the forty nine ers loss last week, but
- 24:48Speaker 2: it's just so hard for me to feade mac Jones.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I feel like they play way better for him, So
- 24:53Speaker 2: probably maybe gonna get in on some Falcons something if
- 24:56Speaker 2: I feel the vibes, but probably.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Want nothing to do with this game to no, Kittle's.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Back too stucky. Have you bet into this game?
- 25:05Speaker 4: No, I don't have anything, but I actually was gonna
- 25:07Speaker 4: look for the Falcons live. Like you said, what nine
- 25:11Speaker 4: is usually really good scripted portion under Shanahan, So like
- 25:17Speaker 4: if there's any team in the league, I think more
- 25:19Speaker 4: so than any team in the league there they have
- 25:22Speaker 4: a very high likelihood of going down and scoring on
- 25:24Speaker 4: there at least a field goal, but an opening drive touchdown.
- 25:28Speaker 4: And if that's the case, I'll get on the Falcons.
- 25:29Speaker 4: It looks like Mooney and Matthews, which is huge. You're
- 25:32Speaker 4: both active for the Falcons, so that's very big. But
- 25:38Speaker 4: I have nothing there. And yeah, to your point, on
- 25:40Speaker 4: just a quick PSA, don't yeah, don't ever chase to
- 25:45Speaker 4: chase or you know, if you're going into Monday night
- 25:48Speaker 4: game or Sunday night game. I've seen so many people
- 25:50Speaker 4: get in trouble, Like I'm talking if you're going to
- 25:52Speaker 4: a big hole, just so you have to understand that
- 25:55Speaker 4: you're gonna have bad days betting football and if you
- 25:59Speaker 4: don't like anything, especially if you don't like anything, but
- 26:02Speaker 4: never just try to get out of the hole on
- 26:04Speaker 4: one game, like I can't tell you how like random
- 26:08Speaker 4: football is and you're just say you're down a lot
- 26:11Speaker 4: of money and you want to throw it all in
- 26:13Speaker 4: a one game. You're betting on an oblong ball, like
- 26:17Speaker 4: on bad calls, fourth downs, fumbo lock like that. Don't
- 26:22Speaker 4: get yourself into double the trouble. There's always next week
- 26:25Speaker 4: it will be okay. So don't ever go that route.
- 26:29Speaker 4: I've seen way too many people getting way too much
- 26:31Speaker 4: trouble trying to do that.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Somebody clip that and play that for society. Please, that's
- 26:37Speaker 1: very important. All right, Let's go ahead and make our
- 26:39Speaker 1: Monday Night football expeditious parlay. This is not gonna be
- 26:43Speaker 1: like what we do on Thursdays. I'm thinking about coining
- 26:47Speaker 1: this the DK Monday Night Football fast pass parlay. Let's
- 26:51Speaker 1: just throw one throw all play into the mix. We
- 26:54Speaker 1: have got two games to choose from, no battles. We
- 26:57Speaker 1: just have to accept the play. Kendro will start with you.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I'm gonna go Kate Oughton for in any time.
- 27:03Speaker 2: He's the only person they've got, so it's gonna be
- 27:07Speaker 2: him or nobody they have.
- 27:09Speaker 1: This kind of messes up my leg of the parlay
- 27:12Speaker 1: because I have Test Test Johnson. The Lions have been
- 27:16Speaker 1: one of the leakiest defenses in the NFL, seventh most
- 27:19Speaker 1: yards per game given to the wide receiver position, and
- 27:21Speaker 1: they're dealing with a load of injuries still in the secondary.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Plus four hundred over on DraftKings. I'm assuming that Evans
- 27:29Speaker 1: and or Abuka will not play, so I'll throw Test Johnson.
- 27:33Speaker 1: We're gonna need two separate bucks to catch touchdown passes
- 27:37Speaker 1: from Baker, but it's doable. It's doable.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Stucky should be a higher scoring game. I'm gonna go
- 27:41Speaker 4: with aj Barner anytime. I think he's plus four hundred
- 27:45Speaker 4: at DraftKings. This is was blessed by my action or
- 27:49Speaker 4: co host Chris Raybomb. But he leads Seattle in red
- 27:53Speaker 4: zone targets, routes, touchdowns, you name it, so he'll get
- 27:59Speaker 4: some looks. So I think matchup. I like the matchup too,
- 28:03Speaker 4: so let's go with AJ Barner anytime touchdown.
- 28:07Speaker 1: All right, that does it. The Favorites is going to return.
- 28:09Speaker 1: By the way, a quick recap. We have Kate Otton touchdown,
- 28:12Speaker 1: Ted Johnson touchdown and an AJ Barner touchdown. We got
- 28:15Speaker 1: tuddies on Monday Night football. The Favorites will return on
- 28:19Speaker 1: Tuesday afternoon right here on the Action Network YouTube page
- 28:22Speaker 1: where we talk NFL Week eight. Can you believe it?
- 28:25Speaker 1: We are already into Week eight of the NFL season.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Good luck with your bets tonight, don't chase people, and
