- 0:03Justin Alan Hayes: Welcome to this episode of the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast.
- 0:06Justin Alan Hayes: I'm your host, founder and executive director of Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes.
- 0:12Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you for joining us on this episode, as well as our over 220 episodes in our catalog.
- 0:19Justin Alan Hayes: We couldn't do this without the love and support that you've given us.
- 0:23Justin Alan Hayes: So, whether this is your first episode or you've been with us from the beginning, thank you.
- 0:28Justin Alan Hayes: If you can go ahead and subscribe, like share, let your friends, family, loved ones know about this movement that we have, the Voices for Voices movement aiming to help 3 billion people over the course of my lifetime and beyond, what sometimes happens.
- 0:50Justin Alan Hayes: And we have really uncovered a lot of information.
- 1:00Justin Alan Hayes: And this episode is just like that of information.
- 1:04Justin Alan Hayes: And this episode is just like that.
- 1:05Justin Alan Hayes: And mental health, for sure, trauma for sure, uh, rears its ugly heads, uh, when it, when it comes to, uh, the uh, all the topics, all the shows we have, whether we, uh, you know, overtly say mental health, trauma, or whether it is an understood topic, this topic is like a sore thumb.
- 1:37Justin Alan Hayes: It really, you know, every time we kind of turn around or find a new information, it really just doesn't make sense and we're very appalled, we are concerned, worried Our families, families with children, especially those that are homeschooled, that there's just a lot of bad, a lot of bad actors out there.
- 2:06Justin Alan Hayes: Not, and you know, there's a lot of bad people, a lot of bad characters that uh are out and they're they're battling you for your children and our you know our children, and that's unacceptable.
- 2:19Justin Alan Hayes: Uh, so the, uh, the topic we're really going to delve into this episode is one around a group, a movement that was started around Christian fantasy writing Individuals, writers, authors, bouncing ideas on collaborating, and it was started around the Christian fantasy, the topic we'll call it, and what we're finding literally second by second, literally second by second, is a particular organization that they have these conventions, they have these conferences and the topics keep getting darker and darker, keep getting further and further away from God, from Jesus, you know, christian fantasy, and really, as we're going to find with our guests, really a total 180, the just disbelief of what was just uncovered.
- 3:49Justin Alan Hayes: Uncovered, so I'll leave the intro at that and joining us, say one of our house guests that we have, but it's because it's so important and we aim to help everybody and we especially aim to help children, to help parents, through navigating sometimes murky waters, and I believe that's what's going on now a little bit.
- 4:08Justin Alan Hayes: So, david Solomon, thank you again for joining us on the show.
- 4:13David Solomon: Always a blessing to be here.
- 4:14David Solomon: I'm just going to dive right into it.
- 4:18David Solomon: You know it's early morning and you know I just got hit with information and I wasn't going to do this show and I can't just stand silent and not tell the information that was just provided to me, just literally, just literally, um so, uh.
- 4:52David Solomon: So you know I'm gonna, I'm gonna give a little previously background here.
- 4:54David Solomon: Uh, for those who don't know me, my name is david solomon.
- 4:56David Solomon: I'm a human trafficking survivor and advocate for others and also, um, a writer, ghostwriter, producer and father and husband.
- 5:10David Solomon: I spoke out against a group called Realm Makers who has not taken responsibility to stand up for what is right, because within their own group are people who are messaging kids about cutting porn and sex behind parents' backs who are adults, and those kids are going to be addicted to said subject matter, chosen to look the other way, kicked me off of the group, if you will, of Christian writers not just me but several others and said well, you know, for sticking up, here's your penance and damaged my career but also others, and I wanted to dive into wolves in sheep's clothing.
- 6:06David Solomon: We're going to take it to the word, all right, so Jesus talks about wolves in sheep's clothing.
- 6:21David Solomon: For a reason Case in point Realm Makers we're going to play devil's Advocate is a Christian conference for writers, and we're going to look at the red flags on this Christian conference.
- 6:34David Solomon: So dive deep with me, okay, yeah, okay.
- 6:39David Solomon: So there is a special guest of honor the League of Legends creator.
- 7:05David Solomon: The League of Legends is a game about killing transgenderism, feminism, homosexuality not to offend anybody, but we're just stating facts as they are presented here on both Wikipedia and other sources.
- 7:09David Solomon: Did I mention killing?
- 7:12David Solomon: So that is what this game is about.
- 7:16David Solomon: It is an RPG.
- 7:20David Solomon: It is secular.
- 7:21David Solomon: There is nothing Christian about it.
- 7:22David Solomon: There is nothing per se bad about it, other than everything I just listed.
- 7:28David Solomon: Under the sun, satan is in it as a good person, so let's talk about that.
- 7:37David Solomon: There are some questionable plots that could mirror human trafficking, so we're going to talk about that too.
- 7:45David Solomon: Okay, this person is a guest of honor, listed on the Realm Makers website that they are going to be the guest of honor, and they're one of them and they're going to be there with your kids, and this is a Christian conference that has trusted guest speakers to and I quote the website give truth and a Christian perspective to the world.
- 8:18David Solomon: On storytelling red flag one what in the world.
- 8:32Justin Alan Hayes: Does this video game creator have in at all in common with jesus christ?
- 8:33David Solomon: nothing as far as I'm concerned, the answer is nothing.
- 8:36David Solomon: Yeah, so league of legends is not even close to a Christian game.
- 8:44David Solomon: So red flag one is why is that creator going to a Christian conference?
- 8:56David Solomon: It'd be one thing if you know he was there to just check it out, but no, he's going to be speaking at a Christian conference where he's not Christian and promoting this woke agenda.
- 9:11David Solomon: And we're having him at a Christian conference.
- 9:13David Solomon: I'm sorry.
- 9:18Justin Alan Hayes: No, you're good and really just to hit on that as well, you have and we talked about this in the past you have kind of wolves in sheep clothing.
- 9:31Justin Alan Hayes: You have the bait and switch.
- 9:32Justin Alan Hayes: You have people, you have families spending thousands, hundreds of dollars to attend a conference with the understanding that it is going to be centered and all content is going to be around christian, christian fantasy.
- 9:47Justin Alan Hayes: And so these individuals, having gone to many conferences myself, if I showed up to a keynote speaker expecting a particular topic and that speaker turned out to be a 180 degree of that, that would make me very, very, very upset.
- 10:09Justin Alan Hayes: Now I've been with companies and so in that case, as far as paying for it, you know, sometimes I haven't had to pay my own money, but for this, this is hard-earned money that these families have earned, I believe, a majority in a positive sense, the money, and so they have many things that they can do with their discretionary income group.
- 10:38Justin Alan Hayes: This particular conference happening and showing up and expecting one thing and another, I would be, I'd be furious, uh, especially when you're talking about children as well.
- 10:54Justin Alan Hayes: We know, we all know how malleable their minds are and how it's like clay and uh, the you know how, how the uh frontal lobe is in of their brain isn't fully formed until their 20s, and so for this to be happening and kind of like, hey, surprise, I think that is it's not good.
- 11:19David Solomon: And so we, you know, and that's red flag, one, that's only one red flag.
- 11:27Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, that's one of the only red flags.
- 11:31David Solomon: You know Brian Davis, we all know Von Omen, who marries children as young as age eight.
- 11:43David Solomon: They're going to be there.
- 11:53David Solomon: I mean, when does it end Like?
- 11:57David Solomon: Brian Davis contacted someone a while ago saying that all I do is harass him and the people that he surrounds himself with, and that's not true.
- 12:14David Solomon: My comment to that is no, I expose people that hurt children, and you have chosen to put yourself with those people.
- 12:26David Solomon: This isn't about vendetta for what you did to me.
- 12:32David Solomon: This is about justice for what you do to them.
- 12:36David Solomon: And as an angry parent right now, I am outraged at what I am seeing.
- 12:49David Solomon: You know, people say David Solomon didn't happen and that's fine and wonderful until there's a point where that doesn't work.
- 13:04David Solomon: And we're at that point, parents, where people go.
- 13:09David Solomon: Well, you know, wait a second, and I read it on chat GBT.
- 13:17David Solomon: David said all this stuff on Voices for Voices and other places, and my family too and others.
- 13:23David Solomon: Do you know that?
- 13:32David Solomon: No one has come out and denied it?
- 13:34David Solomon: You would think there would be an official response from Scott Minder.
- 13:39David Solomon: Hey, this is harassment.
- 13:40David Solomon: Hey, this is untrue Something, something harassment.
- 13:43David Solomon: Hey, this is untrue, something there's not.
- 13:54Justin Alan Hayes: The silence speaks volumes.
- 13:59David Solomon: So for us creators, for us writers affected by this and the person doing it doesn't even deny it shows how true this really hits.
- 14:08David Solomon: What's done in the dark always comes to light.
- 14:15David Solomon: Parents be aware of that, and Realm Makers is a red flag, not just because of its guests, but if they're letting those guests in, who else are they letting in behind the scenes?
- 14:28David Solomon: Who else is going to be behind the curtain?
- 14:31David Solomon: Who else is going to be allowed to see your children and be with your children?
- 14:37David Solomon: Who else is going to talk to your children?
- 14:40David Solomon: You know, when Brian met me in 2007, I was a minor with my best friend, who also goes stroke form and was a minor, and we were given his card.
- 14:57David Solomon: That's how it starts, parents is.
- 15:00David Solomon: These writers give their card, their private emails, which is okay, you know.
- 15:05David Solomon: Send an email to an author, that's cool, but be aware of what that email represents, that email's power, that's the door, and so you know it would be one email and then it'd be two emails, and then it'd be 40 emails and then it'd be calling be two emails and it'd be 40 emails and it'd be calling, and it.
- 15:30David Solomon: You know, I was a part of a group where there was like what 40 of us selected out of the united states, out of all the tours they did, which was thousands.
- 15:36David Solomon: And uh, and we were in this little chat room.
- 15:40David Solomon: It's like a black net.
- 15:41David Solomon: And uh, we were in this little chat room, it's like a black net, and it was something.
- 15:51David Solomon: It was something.
- 15:53David Solomon: And for Scott to throw this and say this is Christian is just appalling.
- 15:57David Solomon: As a Christian parent, I'm sorry.
- 15:59David Solomon: I call complete and utter bullcrap.
- 16:03David Solomon: There's nothing Christian about League of Legends Not one thing.
- 16:10David Solomon: You're letting the devil in, literally letting the devil in, and if the creator of League of Legends is hearing me right now, then hear me right now.
- 16:22David Solomon: Do not go.
- 16:23David Solomon: Do not go.
- 16:29David Solomon: As a secular creator, I respect you.
- 16:32David Solomon: I've worked in the field.
- 16:34David Solomon: Look me up.
- 16:35David Solomon: This is not your place.
- 16:38David Solomon: You do not want to be tied to these people.
- 16:41David Solomon: This is not the moment to promote your transgender stuff to a Christian audience and try to display that in an audience that is closed minded and on your own site.
- 16:59David Solomon: I want to open minds.
- 17:01David Solomon: This is not the moment to preach to people that you think you're doing the right thing.
- 17:06David Solomon: This is not that moment.
- 17:07David Solomon: The right thing.
- 17:11David Solomon: This is not that moment.
- 17:12David Solomon: That's the wrong moment.
- 17:17David Solomon: And let me be clear I do not support your message either.
- 17:20David Solomon: But I'm not going to condemn you and I'm not going to crucify you for wanting to talk to people about it either.
- 17:30David Solomon: But this is not your moment to go to this conference and promote this and try to cause a stir and try to confuse.
- 17:49David Solomon: This is not that moment.
- 17:50David Solomon: Choose another conference, any other conference, don't choose this one.
- 17:53David Solomon: Okay, this is not that moment.
- 17:59David Solomon: These are people that are going to come, that love Jesus with all their heart, that want to serve him, that want to follow his word and not be deceived.
- 18:08David Solomon: And there are wolves in sheep's clothing that are going to be upright, center front in their eye and saying, hi, shake my paw and I'll lead you to the wolf pack and I'll feed on you.
- 18:22David Solomon: And that is the sad truth.
- 18:25David Solomon: They are sheep ready to be slaughtered.
- 18:27David Solomon: And you know what?
- 18:33David Solomon: I'm not afraid to say this.
- 18:34David Solomon: Shame on you, scott Minor, for letting this happen.
- 18:37David Solomon: It's one thing if you let Brian Davis, who claims to be a Christian.
- 18:45David Solomon: I struggle with that one, not just because of the trafficking that was done to me, but because of all the other victims that I've talked to.
- 18:52David Solomon: Now, man, how far have you fallen from grace?
- 19:00David Solomon: That's between you and God.
- 19:01David Solomon: But don't call this a Christian conference.
- 19:04David Solomon: Rename it.
- 19:05David Solomon: There's nothing Christian about this other than the great people that will attend that are not guests, but people that are wanting to meet the guests.
- 19:20David Solomon: Man, you know, I keep in contact with Realme's.
- 19:26David Solomon: We're good friends.
- 19:28David Solomon: We know each other's stories.
- 19:30David Solomon: You think they trust you within a 10-foot pole.
- 19:34David Solomon: No, they don't trust you.
- 19:35David Solomon: In fact, there are a lot of them that won't even come to the conference because they don't trust you within a 10-foot pole.
- 19:40David Solomon: But I love on them, I show them grace.
- 19:50David Solomon: There are some that don't believe what happened to me, but we still talk and I show them grace and compassion and love, because that's what Jesus would do Not.
- 20:05David Solomon: Oh, you called me a liar, how you?
- 20:08David Solomon: No, it's well, that's okay, you know.
- 20:11David Solomon: Here's the facts.
- 20:13David Solomon: But I don't want our friendship to be about that.
- 20:15David Solomon: I want us to come together as christians and unite and create together, and that's what it's about setting our differences.
- 20:24David Solomon: What makes us different from secular creators is that we are anointed with the word of God in our hands, in our minds, in our mouth, that we speak in our eyes, that we see in our ears that we hear and anything that comes out.
- 20:41David Solomon: Better not be secular, because when we are called to be anointed and Christian authors, we have a responsibility, dignity and honor to the gift that God has given us.
- 20:56David Solomon: To use that to lead people to him, not lead people to us.
- 21:02David Solomon: Not lead people astray.
- 21:04David Solomon: Not lead people to another path.
- 21:07David Solomon: Lead them to the one path.
- 21:09David Solomon: That is what Christian writing is about.
- 21:12David Solomon: It is about presenting our point of view to a world that doesn't know.
- 21:17David Solomon: You know, I told a missionary this once Are you on vacation?
- 21:23David Solomon: Because you're in Africa and you're saying that there's a witch doctor that came to you and he wants to know God?
- 21:31David Solomon: Are you on vacation?
- 21:36David Solomon: Well, no, I can't let the witch doctor in.
- 21:41David Solomon: Well, why?
- 21:42David Solomon: Because he serves Satan.
- 21:44David Solomon: But so did you?
- 21:45David Solomon: Oh, no, I never served Satan.
- 21:47David Solomon: Oh, so you were never a sinner?
- 21:49David Solomon: Well, yeah, we're all sinners.
- 22:06David Solomon: Oh, no, I never served Satan.
- 22:06David Solomon: Oh, so you were never a sinner?
- 22:07David Solomon: Well, yeah, we're all sinners.
- 22:08David Solomon: Oh, okay, okay.
- 22:08David Solomon: So serving Satan is not a sin?
- 22:09David Solomon: No, of course it's a sin, right?
- 22:10David Solomon: So, okay, okay.
- 22:10David Solomon: So you're better than him?
- 22:11David Solomon: Well, I'm saved, right.
- 22:12David Solomon: But you're a missionary?
- 22:14David Solomon: Well, yeah, what is your job exactly?
- 22:16David Solomon: Well, we're missionaries on a foreign field and we're telling everybody about Jesus that are sinners so they can get saved, right?
- 22:23David Solomon: So the witch doctor is excluded from that because his sin is greater than everybody else's.
- 22:31David Solomon: Or are you uncomfortable with the fact that he worships the devil?
- 22:35David Solomon: But didn't you worship the devil?
- 22:39David Solomon: Because you were enslaved by sin, and sin is what he creates.
- 22:44David Solomon: He created sin, basically.
- 22:46David Solomon: And they said, well, well, I'm afraid of him.
- 22:52David Solomon: Oh so you're a missionary and you're afraid of a witch doctor who's going to cast a spell?
- 22:58David Solomon: Yet Jesus says that he rebukes curses.
- 23:01David Solomon: Where are we today?
- 23:02David Solomon: Are you on your margarita?
- 23:06David Solomon: Did you forget your armor of God?
- 23:08David Solomon: Where are we going?
- 23:10David Solomon: Well, I don't need armor, you don't need armor.
- 23:14David Solomon: Oh, okay, okay, are you having tequila?
- 23:18David Solomon: No, I don't drink.
- 23:18David Solomon: Okay, are you on a cruise?
- 23:20David Solomon: No, of course not.
- 23:21David Solomon: Okay, well then you better get your armor on, because you're on a battlefield and you're getting attacked by the enemy and you're falling right into his depth.
- 23:31David Solomon: So, no respect.
- 23:32David Solomon: But that witch doctor is as much a sinner as the person over there is a prostitute, as the person over there is gay, as the person over there that is smoking that cigar.
- 23:42David Solomon: And for you to say that they are lesser than you is calling God a liar.
- 23:48David Solomon: That witch doctor became a pastor.
- 23:54David Solomon: Amen.
- 23:56David Solomon: I bring it real.
- 23:59David Solomon: I'm known to preach when I need to and it irks my spirit when people say they're doing God's work and blasting lies.
- 24:17David Solomon: So you know, you can't serve two devils or, excuse me, two gods the devil and Jesus.
- 24:36David Solomon: You can't do that, you cannot do that.
- 24:41David Solomon: And so for Scott Miner to have the League of Legends and Brian Davis and Don Ullman and these are known people that have controversy and we're just putting them out there that they're awesome what are we doing?
- 24:55David Solomon: What are we doing as parents?
- 25:05David Solomon: What are we doing as Christian authors?
- 25:11David Solomon: We're called to tell stories, to inspire.
- 25:15David Solomon: We're doing the opposite.
- 25:16David Solomon: You know all I see right now.
- 25:21David Solomon: I see two things going on.
- 25:24David Solomon: I see the legacy of CS Lewis going strong, and then I see people that want to copy that because they want the fame.
- 25:35David Solomon: There are those that have been called to be the next CS Lewis and there are those that have been called not to be, but they want the fame, so they envy it with jealousy.
- 25:46David Solomon: Those are the two groups I see, the wannabes and the real writers.
- 25:57David Solomon: I'm not putting myself on a pedestal, I'm not putting others on a pedestal.
- 26:02David Solomon: I've done the work.
- 26:03David Solomon: Others have done the work for inspiring writers.
- 26:08David Solomon: Go for it, do it.
- 26:09David Solomon: Do what God tells you to do, but don't become a Christian writer for the wrong reasons.
- 26:17David Solomon: Do it because of faith.
- 26:19David Solomon: Do it because you want to tell a story that changed your life and want to impact the world.
- 26:27David Solomon: Don't do it because of selfish reasons.
- 26:32David Solomon: That's what sets us apart from a secular author, is that we know good versus bad.
- 26:39David Solomon: We can say that that person has so much bad in them.
- 26:44David Solomon: But also in Christian fiction there is redemption and that's big.
- 26:52David Solomon: You know Disney has this big thing.
- 26:56David Solomon: On villains, I noticed they highlight the villains.
- 27:00David Solomon: They don't highlight the good people.
- 27:03David Solomon: What do you think that is?
- 27:09Justin Alan Hayes: what do you think that is?
- 27:11Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, I see it happen in my own life and I think partially it's just money, it's just a new group like they.
- 27:21Justin Alan Hayes: You know they, they, either they don't want to create new good characters.
- 27:29Justin Alan Hayes: So they just go with oh well, let's just make them bad, and then it's across the board with the defendants and all those it's justifying that these guys are the bad guys now right, that's happening in real time.
- 27:48Justin Alan Hayes: That's we're all fighting it with children and that's happening in real time yeah we're all fighting with children and like what is going on, like what.
- 28:02Justin Alan Hayes: What was wrong with the original?
- 28:05David Solomon: so it's like, as Christian creators, we're called to be different and not be the same, and it's appalling that this is going on.
- 28:24Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, there's taking advantage of people, I mean at the highest level, that's what's happened.
- 28:29Justin Alan Hayes: That's somebody taking advantage of another person for power, sex, money, all that, and that is also what they call a cult.
- 28:42Justin Alan Hayes: And so it's very interesting, as we know, that that seems to be the three key pillars of Realm and Realm Makers, and it all comes back to that it does and it's sad it sure is.
- 29:01Justin Alan Hayes: And I think, as we close this episode out, we also don't want to let off the hook the cities, the hotels, the convention centers, any of those, for allowing this type of activity to happen on their grounds.
- 29:24Justin Alan Hayes: You know we call it.
- 29:25Justin Alan Hayes: You know, if there's people that are terrorists, you know we want to freeze their funds, their money.
- 29:32Justin Alan Hayes: We want to find them and bring them to justice, and because they're obviously they're doing bad things and their money is fueling those bad things.
- 29:43Justin Alan Hayes: And so we, we know and I'm guessing a lot of the world knows, they just don't want to believe it about these characters, that we're talking about that whatever money they're making from books, from conferences, conventions, what have you one-on-one sessions, they're using it for nefarious reasons.
- 30:06Justin Alan Hayes: And so for, you know, the hotel in Chicago, the hotel in Grand Rapids, the convention center in Columbus, ohio, all over the place.
- 30:19Justin Alan Hayes: We understand that, being in business, we want to make money, right, that's how you pay the bills and that's how we survive.
- 30:28Justin Alan Hayes: Then, uh, and that's that's one way to look at things.
- 30:33Justin Alan Hayes: But knowing that there is so much negativity, uh, polarization, uh, yeah, that should be taken into account too.
- 30:44Justin Alan Hayes: What happened to morals?
- 30:45Justin Alan Hayes: What happened to ethics, if we're just going to let any anywhere to come to our conference, our convention center, our hotel, because we just want the money, we want increased sales, whatever those reasons are, that's doing the devil's work too.
- 31:06Justin Alan Hayes: We need to all think about this, not just the families, the children, authorities, law enforcement, people in power.
- 31:21Justin Alan Hayes: We have individuals like Brian Davis meeting with the governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine.
- 31:29Justin Alan Hayes: I find that absolutely appalling as a voter of the state of Ohio to have a person that has obviously trafficked our guest, david Solomon, but there's so much controversy around that and for him to have that opportunity to meet with somebody in power like the governor.
- 31:54Justin Alan Hayes: I find that appalling.
- 31:58Justin Alan Hayes: And we put out content to you, mike DeWine.
- 32:05Justin Alan Hayes: I support your reelection campaign, voted for you and to have a meeting with somebody who's not a resident of the state of Ohio, you didn't do your due diligence, your security didn't do their due diligence.
- 32:19Justin Alan Hayes: Find that very, very upsetting, and not only with these conferences, and David can speak a little bit more to this as we wrap up.
- 32:31Justin Alan Hayes: This episode is people like Brian Davis.
- 32:35Justin Alan Hayes: They are working to get their books into curriculum in different states, and so my guess is is meeting with the governor of ohio.
- 32:48Justin Alan Hayes: That's what.
- 32:49Justin Alan Hayes: That's what his goal is.
- 32:50Justin Alan Hayes: To say, hey, look, uh and david knows the the states are already kind of bought into it, and so that's another area.
- 32:59Justin Alan Hayes: Parents, you know that you're going to be getting things from all angles.
- 33:02Justin Alan Hayes: So you're going to come to a conference, think you're getting one thing, but you get another.
- 33:06Justin Alan Hayes: Then you're going to send your kids, either just if they're going to school or if they're homeschool.
- 33:11Justin Alan Hayes: What's going to be on that curriculum?
- 33:13Justin Alan Hayes: Oh, novels by Brian Davis, novels by Von Ullman and these folks.
- 33:19Justin Alan Hayes: So maybe in the last couple minutes you can talk a little bit about that, david.
- 33:24David Solomon: Yeah, so you know.
- 33:25David Solomon: Yeah, so you know Brian wants to.
- 33:31David Solomon: In fact, some of his work is actually in homeschool curriculums, required reading, so you know it goes to show you that's what he's about.
- 33:47David Solomon: He's about trying to get his books out there, uh, to be required to read, and it's pushing a, uh, a philosophy that isn't necessarily a good one.
- 34:05David Solomon: You know his series raising dragons is the one required to read.
- 34:09David Solomon: I actually pointed it out.
- 34:11David Solomon: It's in Florida and Texas, but Ohio, I think, is on his you know itinerary to do it.
- 34:19David Solomon: I know Virginia already has it, but it's very interesting.
- 34:26David Solomon: You know, his book is about another savior other than Jesus, and this is modern day and it's kind of weird and his whole premise is dragons are needing a savior because Jesus didn't die for the dragons and that's kind of fascinating.
- 35:18David Solomon: Until a human dies for the dragons, that is part dragon, hmm, it's.
- 35:35David Solomon: It's kind of twisting theology, even though it's fantasy.
- 35:48David Solomon: So, even though it's fantasy.
- 35:50David Solomon: So for that to be required reading is just, shall we say, moving in the wrong direction of where we should be at and of where we should be at.
- 36:14David Solomon: Brian Davis comes up as one of the number one Christian books to read, and that's concerning too.
- 36:23David Solomon: He has a graphic novel coming out Again.
- 36:28David Solomon: The other person that trafficked me is the one that did the art, james Artville.
- 36:35David Solomon: And aside from all the trafficking that went on with me, just read the graphic novel for yourself, parents, and tell me that that is biblical.
- 36:49David Solomon: Like you know, it's fantasy and that's great and wonderful, but there's something very dark when you twist the Bible like that, like I'm a speculative writer, several projects in the works with studios, and you know we have a little fun, right, but I don't go as far as to say I'm going to have another Jesus.
- 37:31David Solomon: That's kind of where I don't want to go there.
- 37:39David Solomon: So in Tears of a Dragon, brian goes there.
- 37:43David Solomon: In fact, that's what the entire book is about.
- 37:47David Solomon: In fact, that's what the entire book is about.
- 37:49David Solomon: And he also is not shy to shove it in your face that once you become a Christian you become sinless, so you don't sin anymore.
- 37:58David Solomon: And he's not shy to preach that message and he'll make you feel bad until you become sinless.
- 38:04David Solomon: In book 2, candlestone, billy, who is 14 years old, slits someone's throat Think about what I just told you and it's treated as horrible.
- 38:20David Solomon: He makes the kid feel so bad that he forces him to get saved.
- 38:28Justin Alan Hayes: We got like 10 seconds.
- 38:30David Solomon: All right.
- 38:30David Solomon: So Candlestone read that parents.
- 38:35Justin Alan Hayes: David, thank you so much for your powerful, transparent insight for these topics, and parents and people in power and law enforcement, you know, do the right thing.
- 38:52Justin Alan Hayes: We know what that is morally, ethically, and we're we're trying to help people.
- 38:59Justin Alan Hayes: That's where, where it all comes from.
- 39:01Justin Alan Hayes: So until our next episode, please.
