Choosing Right Dog Back Seat Cover: Hammocks vs Extenders
Alex and Emma break down standard hammocks and hard platform extenders for dogs, comparing fit, protection, and vehicle compatibility.
In this episode
Vehicle fit matters more than fabric claims when buying pet seat covers.
Standard flexible hammocks measure around 54 inches wide for sedans and midsize SUVs.
Hard-bottom extenders bridge footwells but demand strict vehicle compatibility.
Seat covers protect upholstery and manage messes, not crash-certified restraints.
