  here. But first two games right in

  Winnipeg, really close games. Blues lose them both and early

  on that first period or so of the first game.

  I'm thinking this is this feels like a freaking dog fight,

  right. We know since they've made the

  changes with the with the the format wild card and all that,

  you get really good series early on.

  It's not like the old days or it's the one versus 8.

  I mean we see a lot of the higher seeds with the better

  teams. I should say, losing in the

  first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

  But man, you're watching those first couple games.

  You're like, this is a really evenly matched series, but The

  Jets in the end, even if the Blues were up, the game was tied

  late. It just it just seemed like the

  The Jets and that high end talent were able to get the

  final goal at the end. No, they were able to get the

  final goal at the end to win those first couple games.

  And you're wondering, OK, even though, even though these games

  are relatively close, is this going to be one of those series

  where the Blues play really tight with The Jets every single

  game and still managed to get swept or gentleman sweep,

  whatever it is? And obviously the gentleman

  sweep is still potentially on the table.

  But I, I don't know if we're going to see that the, the way

  the Blues came out in game three and they had to jump in their

  own building, Enterprise Center, Everybody was going nuts.

  I, I wish I'd of went to the game.

  I was thinking I was going to go to the game.

  But man, I do not stay up late anymore.

  Back in the day when I was working in TV, it was nothing

  for me to, to watch a game that didn't start till 850, whatever

  it is. But I'm starting to do the math.

  If I go down there, what 850 start game's going to end at

  whatever it is 1130. By the time you get home, it's

  going to be 1231, whatever it is.

  You want to have a beer afterwards.

  And I'm just like, you know what, I'm going to watch this

  game on my couch. We'll see what happens with Game

  4 on Sunday. That noon start is a little

  easier. So, but it's also, man, TV

  viewing from home these days is just almost, it's almost too

  good either way. So the Blues right back in the

  series, they always say that a series doesn't start until the

  home team loses. We have a series 2/1 and I got

  to think the Blues are going to play really well in in Game 4 as

  well. Will they win that game?

  I don't know. I at this point have a hard time

  believing that the Blues are going to get the old gentleman

  sweep in the series. I I think they're going to be
• 4:26
  able to take one of the next two games.

  Obviously the best chances is Sunday at home.

  Are they going to win the series?

  I don't know. I mean, can they win the series?

  Absolutely right. The first two games, I remember

  looking at that, there's that analytic that's basically who

  should win the game. And in the first game it was

  like 5545, right, That The Jets should have won that game, which

  which I think is fair and it's not exactly 5050.

  The Jets outplayed them in game one, especially late in that

  game. Third period, the Blues had

  nothing. But my point overall is that

  those were pretty tight games. And then yesterday, OK, you can

  look at the the stat sheet, I mean, on the scoreboard, not a

  tight game at all. That game was over pretty Dang

  quickly. Although I guess you can make

  the argument with that goal that was reviewed.

  So that was 3 zip at the time, right?

  Correct me if I'm wrong. So if that, if that goal becomes

  a goal for The Jets, you can have a momentum shift right

  there. By the way, what did you guys

  think about that goal? I I thought it was a goal.

  I understand it's like football. It's the call on the field.

  If it's if it's not 100% conclusive to overturn, you

  can't do that. That was one of those calls that

  When you saw that overhead view there, especially at the end,

  So I, I think if, if we had scientific testing, right, if we

  had like in tennis, if we had that chip in the ball, that can

  tell if, if it's a fault. I, I think that was actually a

  goal. And I mean, maybe did a, did

  It, it seemed like it did to me, But I understand why it was not

  called a goal because when it's not conclusive, when you're,

  you're looking at the, at the, the replay monitors for minutes

  and minutes and minutes seemed like, I mean, how long was 5

  minutes? Seemed like 10 minutes, probably

  more like 5, whatever it was. When you have to look over and

  over and over again, it's pretty clear that it's not conclusive.

  And despite what I think what you think, you have to go ahead

  and go with the call on the ice, which was no goal.

  I mean, hell, hell of an effort in a save either way, even if it

  was called a goal. You can see Jordan Bennington

  was tucked back there in the crease a little bit.

  So I'm excited. I have I have high hopes for the

  rest of the series. Again, I I don't know that the

  Blues are going to win the series.

  They sure as hell can you also see Jordan Bennington, even if

  you say overall over six or seven games, if if you're saying

  that especially five on five, that The Jets are just a better

  team than the Saint Louis Blues, I can understand that.

  But in the playoffs, if it's close, if the Blues can continue

  to be better on special teams, if Jordan Bennington can steal

  you a game, who knows with Connor Hellebuk, right?

  All of a sudden you give up A7 spot in that Game 3.

  And that's what's enjoyable about being a fan, riding that
