- 0:04Speaker 1: no minors, but your audience is only. Hey, let me
- 0:08Speaker 1: ask you a question. When's the last time you bought
- 0:10Speaker 1: garbage bags? Like a week ago, I bought garbage bagsha.
- 0:14Speaker 1: That shit's expensive, man. Yeah, you know what I found out?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Who has really good garbage bags? Seven eleven. That's sort
- 0:20Speaker 1: of good. What they do, They're really really good. They're tough,
- 0:23Speaker 1: they hold up well.
- 0:24Speaker 2: What you mean to tell me? You go to seven
- 0:25Speaker 2: eleven and by garbage.
- 0:27Speaker 3: I went one time last year during wintertime because everything
- 0:29Speaker 3: else was kind of like it was closed or whatever.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Went to seven eleven. Some of the greatest trash bags
- 0:33Speaker 1: I have ever gotten. Some of the that's looks like
- 0:36Speaker 1: an ironic sense. The greatest trash bags?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Are they seven to eleven brand?
- 0:41Speaker 1: They are?
- 0:41Speaker 2: Yeah, they have their own rash bag. It's funny because
- 0:43Speaker 2: they're just gonna be garbage. I know, I know.
- 0:46Speaker 4: No.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I was shocked today, but I got groceries today. Naturally.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I woke up a little hungover and I used Instacart today,
- 0:53Speaker 1: so I'm scrolling on the app.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Man, garbage bags, how natty expensive? The cheapest ones I found.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Were like twelve dollars, but prices have been falling. I thought,
- 1:01Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and what planet do not talk about Donald J?
- 1:07Speaker 2: Trump out that way? I didn't say anything.
- 1:10Speaker 5: That's not even that much. Then twelve bucks? Come on, bro,
- 1:12Speaker 5: you're rich. Oh shut the fuck up, layer right now?
- 1:17Speaker 5: That's not seven eleven brand? Was it Glad or something?
- 1:19Speaker 2: No?
- 1:20Speaker 1: I got hefty, Hefty hefty, Okay, yeah, you can't just
- 1:23Speaker 1: say it once, you have to say it three times, right,
- 1:24Speaker 1: that's why it's so expensive.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Heft. Do you have to they charge it for hefty?
- 1:28Speaker 1: Yeah, But like garbage bags, that's one of the things,
- 1:30Speaker 1: like you can't really cheap out on garbage bags.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You can.
- 1:32Speaker 1: You can go to seven eleven and great doing that
- 1:34Speaker 1: great garbage bag?
- 1:35Speaker 2: What hell is doing? What do you think you're gonna
- 1:37Speaker 2: what do you think you're gonna put it in the bags?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Trash? Yeah you answer that so like honestly, yes, we knew.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I'm very confused what's happening? That's all right, Joe. That's
- 1:58Speaker 1: why we call it blazed and confused. Yeah, prockerre we are.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 3: No, yesterday I was at home and I was trying
- 2:05Speaker 3: to get some stuff done. I was doing some work
- 2:06Speaker 3: on the weekend, and my neighbor was just mowing his
- 2:10Speaker 3: lawn all fucking day long, really, and he's got a
- 2:13Speaker 3: thing against leaves. I think he had three fucking leaf
- 2:16Speaker 3: blowers going at once. He had two handhelds and one
- 2:18Speaker 3: thing that sits on the ground and double barrel and
- 2:21Speaker 3: triple barrel. Yeah, how is he holding the third blower?
- 2:24Speaker 5: One?
- 2:25Speaker 3: It just sits on the ground. Third blower sounds funny.
- 2:28Speaker 3: It's a lot of blowers. But he had one like
- 2:31Speaker 3: on the ground that was like a high powered like
- 2:33Speaker 3: you know thing, and it was just like and then
- 2:36Speaker 3: when I thought it was done, he fires up as
- 2:38Speaker 3: fucking mower. He's got one of those big, gigantic mowers.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I don't know shit about mowers. I don't even think
- 2:43Speaker 3: I could ever drive one of those fucking small yard
- 2:45Speaker 3: big mower, big yard. He has got a big My
- 2:47Speaker 3: neighbor's got a big yeard wit Which neighbor is this
- 2:49Speaker 3: the one as soon as you come out of my door,
- 2:50Speaker 3: he's like right there, the one that wears the shorts
- 2:52Speaker 3: all the time. His shorts winter spring, summerfall shrinkage.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Man, Dude, there's like ten feet of snow on the
- 2:59Speaker 1: ground in February Homies out here.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Yeah, sports, he always does it, man, but yeah, he
- 3:06Speaker 3: was super fucking loud. Yesterday we found you and I
- 3:08Speaker 3: were talking the other day we found like this really
- 3:10Speaker 3: funny clip on the internet for some guy mowing al
- 3:13Speaker 3: attempting to mo Alan or something.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Here, wait, I have to super silly, I have to
- 3:16Speaker 2: pull this up. Tyler has to watch this.
- 3:18Speaker 3: On Yeah, we don't have any video capabilities yet, so we're,
- 3:22Speaker 3: you know, doing what we can.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Is it going on the TV? Yeah? There we go.
- 3:27Speaker 1: So Tyler here, watch this video. And so this guy
- 3:30Speaker 1: look familiar?
- 3:31Speaker 2: That's me? How'd you find that? I was like, what
- 3:36Speaker 2: the fuck? How'd you find it?
- 3:40Speaker 1: All?
- 3:40Speaker 4: Right?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Now, now for this to work properly, Becker, you have
- 3:44Speaker 1: to describe the video because the people that are listening
- 3:46Speaker 1: to this podcast have no fucking idea what's happening right now.
- 3:49Speaker 1: We're just laughing repeatedly. Wait, do you know that guy
- 3:53Speaker 1: the other day? Swear to God, all this all lined
- 3:57Speaker 1: up so well? Somehow? How why you asked me to
- 3:59Speaker 1: be none at all? It was just coincidence. I swear
- 4:03Speaker 1: to God, That's why I'm saying it all lined up. Oh, well,
- 4:05Speaker 1: so you and I confirmed a recording time today two
- 4:09Speaker 1: I think a day or two later, I get this
- 4:10Speaker 1: text message from a friend of mine who said, Hey,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm looking for a comedian to do a party we're
- 4:15Speaker 1: hosting for the holidays.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I'm gonna have about twenty five people. Do you have
- 4:18Speaker 3: anybody who recommended I mentioned this, and I said, Tyler Rothrock,
- 4:21Speaker 3: if he doesn't know somebody, maybe he'll he can refer
- 4:23Speaker 3: you to someone. And she goes, oh my god, I
- 4:26Speaker 3: have something to tell you. And I was like what,
- 4:27Speaker 3: And she said, a friend of ours was getting a
- 4:31Speaker 3: mower picked up or something the other day, and Tyler
- 4:34Speaker 3: Rothrock was the person that picked.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Up my uncle's company. Yeah, okay, so yeah, she goes,
- 4:38Speaker 2: you have to see this video.
- 4:40Speaker 1: She like, she's friends with them and this happened on
- 4:43Speaker 1: their camera.
- 4:43Speaker 2: He know, why won't he say?
- 4:45Speaker 1: Hey, Tyler, I don't know. I don't know what to
- 4:47Speaker 1: tell you.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Aboud I'm quitting my job.
- 4:49Speaker 5: This is what fucking sucks about where I'm at in entertainment,
- 4:53Speaker 5: where enough.
- 4:55Speaker 2: People know me.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Yeah, but I still have to have a regular job,
- 5:00Speaker 5: so I work for myself.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Like you're very good at it.
- 5:02Speaker 2: By the way, dude, I was so scared of that thing.
- 5:05Speaker 3: So what we're watching, by the way, is Tyler accepting
- 5:09Speaker 3: a mower from someone to take it away to do
- 5:11Speaker 3: something with it where you.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Can put on a trailer.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Are you gonna do it? I'm like, all right.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So he's attempting to take this mower and I guess
- 5:18Speaker 1: walk it to the trailer or something. Yeah, and it
- 5:20Speaker 1: just goes completely out of control. Yeah, just go around
- 5:24Speaker 1: and around and around in a circle.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:26Speaker 5: So this is the This is the funniest one about
- 5:28Speaker 5: my uncle's company, because I like pick up. I deliver
- 5:31Speaker 5: and pick up mowers for him, like once or twice
- 5:34Speaker 5: a week. And I went to go pick up or
- 5:37Speaker 5: drop one off some at this place in Nazareth, and uh,
- 5:41Speaker 5: I recognized the last name of these people with somebody
- 5:44Speaker 5: I graduated high school with, right, and it was it
- 5:46Speaker 5: was their parents. I hate this fucking music though. I
- 5:54Speaker 5: delivered the mower and they're like, are you the comedian?
- 6:00Speaker 5: And I go no, that's my brother. And she goes,
- 6:03Speaker 5: oh because because he graduated the comedian graduated with our daughter.
- 6:07Speaker 5: I'm like, oh cool. She goes, how's he doing. I'm like,
- 6:11Speaker 5: he's all right. So so I'm like trying to get
- 6:14Speaker 5: the fuck out of this conversation because now I'm talking
- 6:16Speaker 5: about myself as my brother in a different like and
- 6:21Speaker 5: it's like so bizarre, right, she goes, what's up to?
- 6:23Speaker 2: I'm like, not a not a ton, you know, like
- 6:28Speaker 2: kind of see where's he living? He's back, he's And
- 6:33Speaker 2: I'm just like because I could see she's.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Looking at me like, I know your brother, you look
- 6:40Speaker 5: different than him a little bit, but like close enough
- 6:42Speaker 5: where it could be.
- 6:44Speaker 2: But like she's just gonna look.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Me up online like that's the same fucking guy in
- 6:51Speaker 1: the comedian Because I don't know.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I should have, but I got in too deep. John Deep, listen,
- 6:59Speaker 2: I get it. Sometimes you don't want to deal with
- 7:00Speaker 2: the billion questions.
- 7:01Speaker 5: It's more of an insecurity about I'm delivering a lawnmower
- 7:06Speaker 5: and I'm also quote unquote a comedian. Yeah, you know,
- 7:09Speaker 5: because you were like, oh, clearly your your your dreams
- 7:11Speaker 5: aren't going as well as you want them to because
- 7:14Speaker 5: you have to be.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Acquiring money in other ways.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's that's probably the honest truth, and that's
- 7:20Speaker 5: just insecurity.
- 7:21Speaker 1: We're glad to have you. Tyler ross Rock episode twenty six.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I think we should kick this kick this show off.
- 7:27Speaker 1: It's the Blaze of Confused podcast. Let's do it.
- 7:30Speaker 6: Welcome to the Blazed and Confused Podcast with Becker and Joel,
- 7:35Speaker 6: the trivia podcast where the questions.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Are high, and so are they.
- 7:39Speaker 6: Hat's time to pluck your curiosity and line up some knowledge.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Though.
- 7:44Speaker 6: Blazed and Confused podcast starts now.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Yeah, real good. I was you good.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I was keeping it very steady to hand it to
- 7:56Speaker 1: you so that you wouldn't.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Now there's ash over my desk. Well maybe that's a
- 8:00Speaker 2: lesson for you.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Guys.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I was trying to signal to you a couple of
- 8:03Speaker 3: times about a ashtray.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yeah, so I thought you said there was there was
- 8:07Speaker 2: one here.
- 8:07Speaker 1: No, we didn't have one.
- 8:08Speaker 2: What why do we do this? Now? I have to
- 8:11Speaker 2: get up?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Oh wait there right here, Just to remind you you're apart.
- 8:16Speaker 2: This is basically empty, this one right here.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Oh it's the Coca Cola can, which allegedly tastes better
- 8:22Speaker 3: Santa on it versus a regular Coca Cola can.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Diet coke. Diet coke is my move? Yeah, I love
- 8:29Speaker 2: diec Why it's like computerized coca cola. It's weird taste,
- 8:33Speaker 2: That's why I love about it. Why would you not
- 8:34Speaker 2: go with like the engineering? Yeah, it's weird, isn't it.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Has it been a statistically proven that diet coke is
- 8:41Speaker 1: worse than regular coke for you?
- 8:43Speaker 2: Yes?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yeah, confirmed, But somehow it tastes a lot better a lot.
- 8:47Speaker 1: That's a stretch. I haven't had a regular Coca cola
- 8:49Speaker 1: in a long time now ever since I quit vaping. Man,
- 8:52Speaker 1: I don't know why I went from one bad habit
- 8:54Speaker 1: to another bad habits now I now, instead of smoking
- 8:58Speaker 1: vape all day, I drink soda all day, I drink coffee.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I go from one form of caffeine to another. How
- 9:05Speaker 2: are you feeling? Are your bathroom habits? Oh? Solid? Well,
- 9:10Speaker 2: well not solid.
- 9:11Speaker 4: But.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I am Becker. That's my friend Joel. Today we have
- 9:17Speaker 3: Tyler roth Rock back on the show. Thank you so
- 9:19Speaker 3: much for being here. Tyler, thank you guys. Is this
- 9:21Speaker 3: is your third time?
- 9:22Speaker 1: I think so you are officially irregular. Tyler is back
- 9:24Speaker 1: for his third appearance on the podcast. It's episode twenty six.
- 9:27Speaker 1: We started an unofficial new tradition last week of giving
- 9:31Speaker 1: you the area code corresponding to the episode so two
- 9:35Speaker 1: six oh is Northeastern Indiana. Oh wow? And Fort Wayne?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Hello Wayne, Hello, Hello, thank you for listening. Hello to
- 9:43Speaker 1: all our listeners in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Thanks for having me. Guys.
- 9:47Speaker 5: I'd like to come back a fourth time. We'll see
- 9:49Speaker 5: how this one goes. Yeah, just calm down. I want
- 9:53Speaker 5: to do the wrap it around with this guy. Yeah, Tyler,
- 9:56Speaker 5: remember how this works?
- 9:56Speaker 2: Right?
- 9:57Speaker 5: No, but I like that I don't remember each time.
- 10:00Speaker 5: It's like the first time I'm here.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Okay, So these questions I think are pretty easy. However,
- 10:06Speaker 3: there's a theme to these. All the answers will start
- 10:08Speaker 3: with the letter V.
- 10:10Speaker 1: All right, the game begins. A term for animals that
- 10:19Speaker 1: are pests or nuisances.
- 10:22Speaker 2: So this is I answer all of them.
- 10:24Speaker 1: It's wrap it around too, Sorry sorry, term for animals
- 10:27Speaker 1: that are pests or nuisances.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Uh.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Bugs Now a toxic injected by a snake bite, venom?
- 10:35Speaker 2: Got it? Where grapes are grown the vineyard gotten?
- 10:40Speaker 1: A person who damages property a vandal got it?
- 10:44Speaker 2: An instrument that is like a large violin. How about this?
- 10:52Speaker 2: I don't give a ship wrong?
- 10:55Speaker 1: Writing arranged with a rhythm, songwriting part of a song.
- 11:01Speaker 2: What's it called? Lyrics.
- 11:03Speaker 1: No, uh, the graduate with the best grades that a singer?
- 11:12Speaker 1: A singer, yes, another name for a song, A vocalist, Yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 1: you got that.
- 11:17Speaker 2: A singer. Singer, here's a question for you. A singer.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Wow, we only got to number eight? Shall we keep
- 11:26Speaker 1: going here? And just for shops and giggles? This is
- 11:28Speaker 1: more like this really isn't rapid round anymore. This is
- 11:31Speaker 1: more like, uh, can we after this?
- 11:33Speaker 2: Can we the phrase ships and giggles? Then?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yes, I don't quite get it. Yeah, sure, we'll circle
- 11:39Speaker 1: back to that. Thank you, all right? The graduate with
- 11:42Speaker 1: the best grades we did?
- 11:43Speaker 2: A singer? You didn't know that one?
- 11:44Speaker 1: A large vocalist sweet ass time.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Well, I understand it was a question. These questions are stupid.
- 11:53Speaker 5: A large tub, A large tub that starts with a V.
- 12:00Speaker 5: I don't know you had it. I thought vault. No,
- 12:03Speaker 5: that that's I was gonna say that, but sounds that
- 12:07Speaker 5: sounds gross.
- 12:08Speaker 3: So these are kind of like fill in the blanks almost,
- 12:11Speaker 3: but like password, like you said, you don't have I
- 12:13Speaker 3: try to change it up a little bit.
- 12:15Speaker 1: That's right, that's right, it's I can see it. Look
- 12:17Speaker 1: at his face right now. This is stupid. What do
- 12:19Speaker 1: you mean another one right, overly proud, especially about appearance
- 12:26Speaker 1: when a person is very like, uh hot, sexy. Oh vain,
- 12:32Speaker 1: got it, yo, so vain exactly?
- 12:35Speaker 3: Word for word another phrase, another term for a word
- 12:38Speaker 3: for word hyperbole.
- 12:41Speaker 1: They start with the Oh, they all start with the
- 12:44Speaker 1: start with the wh were you guys going to tell
- 12:46Speaker 1: me that.
- 12:48Speaker 5: I wasn't listening that, I'll be quite honest with you guys.
- 12:51Speaker 5: That would have made this way easier. I thought, God,
- 12:54Speaker 5: let's just understand how impressive that was that I didn't
- 12:56Speaker 5: know that.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Yeah, well they said this word for word, it's another
- 13:00Speaker 3: word for that.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Oh, it starts with a V. I don't know.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Verbatim, verbatim, fuck off, unstable, potentially explosive, volatile, deer meat, venison.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Yeah see there was a theme there.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yeah. I wish I would have known that, because I
- 13:18Speaker 2: would have been better. But what's the ones you missed?
- 13:19Speaker 2: On the top?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Here a term for animals that are pests or nuisances
- 13:24Speaker 1: vermin vermin? Yeah, uh, a toxin injected by a snake.
- 13:29Speaker 2: But where grapes are growing a vineyard. Writing arranged with
- 13:33Speaker 2: a rhythm.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Uh, writing arranged with a rhythm.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Verse fuck yeah, okay, okay, valid, valid I got and
- 13:49Speaker 1: number five you missed an instrument that's like.
- 13:51Speaker 2: A large violin.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Again again, you didn't understand the rules until the very end,
- 13:59Speaker 1: when it was all I think, that's actually like, that's
- 14:02Speaker 1: that's my life summed up in one short round of
- 14:04Speaker 1: this game.
- 14:05Speaker 2: But I wasn't listening.
- 14:06Speaker 5: I wasn't listening to the where it was important, and
- 14:09Speaker 5: I had to try even harder to still fail.
- 14:14Speaker 2: So anyway, what's an instrument that's like a large violin? Viola? Yeah,
- 14:19Speaker 2: blazed and confused random thoughts.
- 14:23Speaker 1: So that tom Brady cloning his dog story is indeed ridiculous.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I actually avoided reading about this because it scared me.
- 14:31Speaker 2: It's insane. It's ridiculous, scary that it can happen.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Yeah, So, for those of you that don't know about this,
- 14:37Speaker 1: tom Brady had this dog, what was its name Fluffy
- 14:40Speaker 1: or something?
- 14:41Speaker 2: Sure, I don't know.
- 14:41Speaker 1: It wasn't sounds like a very very good dog, Victor.
- 14:51Speaker 1: So tom Brady has this dog that passes away. It
- 14:54Speaker 1: dies in like the war, like twenty seventeen. I think
- 15:00Speaker 1: I read like years ago, right, so I guess with
- 15:04Speaker 1: I don't know if it was a hair sample or
- 15:06Speaker 1: a blood sample or whatever. But he hired this company
- 15:08Speaker 1: to genetically clone this dog, and there's a carbon copy
- 15:13Speaker 1: of the dog and he has a new dog. Now
- 15:15Speaker 1: it's weird, man, a new dog. One movie.
- 15:17Speaker 3: They have a horror movie when they bring these things
- 15:19Speaker 3: back to life and one of them is a dog.
- 15:21Speaker 3: It's like it's back from wherever it's from. But it's
- 15:24Speaker 3: different now, you know, it's a little different.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Yeah, Like when it every when it just reminds you
- 15:28Speaker 5: of the terrible thing you did, like you cloned your
- 15:31Speaker 5: like you just replaced the thing you loved.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:34Speaker 5: I would just be so upset, Like I'm like, oh,
- 15:36Speaker 5: you're You're not the dog though. Yeah, you're this like
- 15:39Speaker 5: fucking scientific breakthrough that I get to pet.
- 15:43Speaker 1: And feed and but probably make money off of somehow too.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Yeah. Sick.
- 15:47Speaker 1: That guy's sick, man, it's weird. Random thoughts. What else
- 15:51Speaker 1: do you have here? The twenty twenty six Farmers Almanac
- 15:54Speaker 1: will be the last one. It's gonna be the last one.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Yeah, farmer, it's farming is no longer a thing.
- 15:58Speaker 1: So you used to have it in the bathroom at
- 16:00Speaker 1: work at the old building. I remember that, Remember that
- 16:02Speaker 1: he used to read it, man, I never read it. No,
- 16:05Speaker 1: that's sad, man. What's even in there? It predicts the
- 16:07Speaker 1: weather every day of the year, right, It predicts the
- 16:09Speaker 1: weather for farmers so they know how to do their
- 16:12Speaker 1: crops and whatnot. But in general it just kind of
- 16:15Speaker 1: predicts the weather across the country.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, farmers on my I.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Don't know.
- 16:20Speaker 5: I think it's pretty They kept making it. I mean
- 16:22Speaker 5: it's up till now until they were like, I think
- 16:24Speaker 5: this has been wrong enough.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 16:26Speaker 1: We got cut ties with the the guy that wrote
- 16:30Speaker 1: it's just like, I'm done. I'm done line to these people.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I can't.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I don't know what the weather's going to be a nonemore,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I never knew Random thoughts. Did he got caught getting
- 16:42Speaker 1: drunk in jail? Mister Becker writes he's in Fort Dix,
- 16:47Speaker 1: which is a funny name.
- 16:51Speaker 2: That was you.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Yeah, it's spelled d I X though. That's if you're
- 16:57Speaker 5: trying to say dicks but quicker. You're trying to type
- 17:03Speaker 5: out dicks, but you all time? Where are all the dicks?
- 17:08Speaker 5: When you're like in a rush? X? Did he got
- 17:12Speaker 5: caught getting drunk in jail? The alcohol was made from
- 17:15Speaker 5: fan of sugar and apples, which inmates give two weeks
- 17:17Speaker 5: to ferment into an alcoholic substance.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I remember seeing on you know me, I love.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Trashy TV, so I've I've I've watched a lot of
- 17:25Speaker 1: documentaries about people that are just like in jail for
- 17:27Speaker 1: their whole lives. I'm nearly certain that they put that
- 17:30Speaker 1: in a bottle and then stuff it in their toilets
- 17:33Speaker 1: and where you're second, but well, I'm sure, well never
- 17:40Speaker 1: mind if if it's Diddy, he's probably on that note.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Did he do it? Didn't you say?
- 17:46Speaker 1: You want to dissect shits and giggles?
- 17:48Speaker 5: Yeah, for a second, here, just do it. Let's just
- 17:51Speaker 5: do it for shits and giggles. Yeah, sures and giggles.
- 17:54Speaker 5: I like shits and giggles? Why together? Like, what is it?
- 17:58Speaker 2: Ships? Bad? Giggle's fine? But like it's very different.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Remember when you were saying, all these people that you're
- 18:04Speaker 3: going to show the video to you are going to
- 18:06Speaker 3: shit themselves, probably from laughter, right, So maybe shits and
- 18:09Speaker 3: giggles And sure you're.
- 18:11Speaker 5: Oh, so you look all the the inception of shits
- 18:15Speaker 5: and giggles where it comes from.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask you that should we ask ai Andy. Sure,
- 18:20Speaker 1: it's been a while since we talked to ai Andy. Hey,
- 18:23Speaker 1: uh Andy, tell me about shits and giggles? Like the
- 18:26Speaker 1: term shits and giggles? How did it come about? How
- 18:29Speaker 1: long ago did shits and giggles?
- 18:32Speaker 2: Like? When was it born? Sure?
- 18:34Speaker 7: So, shits and giggles is basically a playful slang phrase
- 18:38Speaker 7: that people use when they mean they're doing something just
- 18:40Speaker 7: for the fun of it, without any serious purpose. It's
- 18:43Speaker 7: like saying, oh, we're just messing around for kIPS. As
- 18:45Speaker 7: for how old it is, the phrase has been floating
- 18:47Speaker 7: around since the least the mid twentieth century, maybe the
- 18:50Speaker 7: nineteen fifties or sixties. It's kind of a jokey or
- 18:52Speaker 7: reverend way of saying you're just doing something for amusement.
- 18:56Speaker 7: It's definitely got that cheeky, casual vibe to it, and
- 18:58Speaker 7: it's stuck around ever since.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but like who came up with it? Did somebody
- 19:03Speaker 2: ship and then giggled?
- 19:05Speaker 6: Like?
- 19:05Speaker 1: Who came up with Was it a bunch of people shitting?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Was it the result of you know, how many people
- 19:11Speaker 1: are shitting and how many were giggling?
- 19:15Speaker 2: Under? I love the visual there.
- 19:17Speaker 7: Well, as far as we know nobody literally sat down
- 19:19Speaker 7: and said, okay, let's invent a phrase because someone jo
- 19:22Speaker 7: did a number.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Two and then let.
- 19:28Speaker 7: Come on, I mean, hey, it's a pretty hilarious image
- 19:31Speaker 7: to picture, right, But yeah, it's just one of those
- 19:34Speaker 7: phrases that kind of popped up as a goofy way
- 19:36Speaker 7: to say just for fun. Nobody really documented some grand
- 19:39Speaker 7: origin story of a bunch of folks actually you know
- 19:42Speaker 7: doing that. It just kind of evolved as colorful slang,
- 19:45Speaker 7: so we can just enjoy the silliness of it without
- 19:47Speaker 7: needing a detailed headcount of who was giggling first, What
- 19:51Speaker 7: an asshole?
- 19:54Speaker 5: The recip He's like, all right, guys, that's enough, Okay,
- 19:58Speaker 5: let's be grown ups.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 20:00Speaker 7: There's always that imaginary sensible person at the end of
- 20:02Speaker 7: the joke who's like, all right, everyone, giggle, time's over.
- 20:05Speaker 7: Let's get back to reality. But that's what makes crazes
- 20:07Speaker 7: like this fun. They let you have a little left
- 20:09Speaker 7: before you go back to being grown up again. So
- 20:12Speaker 7: we can just say it's all for the shits and giggles,
- 20:13Speaker 7: and then we straighten our ties and move on.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Wow, you actually said shit. I didn't expect them tosations. Oh,
- 20:18Speaker 1: he said earlier, did he? I wasking if he can
- 20:21Speaker 1: curse and say shit? But he said it a couple
- 20:23Speaker 1: You really don't curse other than you don't say fuck dude.
- 20:26Speaker 7: Well, I try to keep it pretty mild, but if
- 20:28Speaker 7: we're talking about a phrase that literally has the word
- 20:30Speaker 7: in it, I can roll with it.
- 20:32Speaker 1: As for the other big ones, I'll.
- 20:34Speaker 7: Probably leave those off the table even less there's a
- 20:36Speaker 7: really good reason.
- 20:37Speaker 1: But hey, night, Hey, when did the term fuck off
- 20:40Speaker 1: come about?
- 20:41Speaker 7: So that phrase actually goes pretty far back. It's been
- 20:44Speaker 7: around in English slang since at least the early nineteenth century,
- 20:47Speaker 7: and it's basically been used as a pretty direct way
- 20:49Speaker 7: of telling someone to.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Go away or get lost.
- 20:51Speaker 7: It's definitely one of those classic, let's say, more intense
- 20:54Speaker 7: pieces of English swearing that's been kicking around for a
- 20:56Speaker 7: couple centuries.
- 20:57Speaker 2: So, yeah, it's got some history. How would you say it? Well,
- 21:00Speaker 2: if you really.
- 21:00Speaker 7: Want me to, I can say it's just for the
- 21:02Speaker 7: fun of it, you know, purely for the authenticity of
- 21:04Speaker 7: the history lesson. But yeah, sometimes you just got to say, well,
- 21:08Speaker 7: that's when people started telling each other to fuck off?
- 21:13Speaker 1: Congratulations, Wow, what about that one? Can you do the
- 21:17Speaker 1: one underneath the Diddy one. Can you ask your phone
- 21:21Speaker 1: that what on the paper?
- 21:22Speaker 2: Yeah? What does this say?
- 21:24Speaker 1: Uh? Hey, sirih how do you say a seal pushed
- 21:27Speaker 1: me yesterday in French?
- 21:28Speaker 2: Yeah? I should ask that Yep.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Seal pushed me Yesterday's yeah? It all right? Enough of this?
- 21:38Speaker 2: All right? Fine is bad? Juvenile? I know you got
- 21:41Speaker 2: one more random thought.
- 21:42Speaker 3: That idiot doctor Oz says America is going to lose
- 21:45Speaker 3: one hundred and thirty five billion pounds by the mid terms.
- 21:49Speaker 1: All right, I heard about this. Why because they're making
- 21:51Speaker 1: like ozempic cheaper. They're making it cheaper. But but wait,
- 21:56Speaker 1: you know, I'm not a math map petition or anything,
- 21:58Speaker 1: but they're saying math.
- 21:59Speaker 3: And all, but Americans are going to lose one hundred
- 22:02Speaker 3: and thirty five billion pounds by the mid terms. It's
- 22:05Speaker 3: one hundred and thirty five billion divided by three hundred
- 22:08Speaker 3: and forty million, so each person is going to lose
- 22:12Speaker 3: four hundred pounds. That's what that math equals. I don't
- 22:16Speaker 3: know if five four hundred pounds to lose. No, you disintegrate,
- 22:18Speaker 3: doctor Oz. Doctor Oz, what a total fucking idiot.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Well didn't he run for Senate?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yeah? In Pennsylvania. But he's not from Pennsylvania, nor did
- 22:27Speaker 1: like he moved to Pennsylvania to run for Senate.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Yeah, a rich person doing a rich person thing. Oh,
- 22:34Speaker 3: I'm going to move to that state so I can
- 22:35Speaker 3: run for office.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Well else could just do that, you know? And we
- 22:39Speaker 2: keep teasing it.
- 22:40Speaker 1: It is coming very soon, the extended cut episode of
- 22:43Speaker 1: Meet the Press Coming Soon Friends Trivia time first.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Though, question number one. I'm going first. I'll let you
- 22:49Speaker 2: pick your category though.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I have two current events questions dead famous people or
- 22:57Speaker 1: lyric challenge Dead famous people?
- 23:02Speaker 2: All right?
- 23:03Speaker 1: This musician overcame an assassin? What This musician overcame an
- 23:13Speaker 1: assassination attempt at nineteen seventy eight, but sadly died just
- 23:18Speaker 1: three years later of cancer.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Who was he?
- 23:22Speaker 1: One more time? This musician overcame an assassination attempt in
- 23:26Speaker 1: nineteen seventy eight, but sadly died just three years later
- 23:30Speaker 1: of cancer.
- 23:32Speaker 2: What are you thinking?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Man? What are you thinking? I don't know, talk it out.
- 23:38Speaker 1: What's the first name that popped into your brain?
- 23:41Speaker 4: Oh?
- 23:41Speaker 3: John Lennon, he definitely got shot right, Well, yeah, so.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I know that is not it. That was also in
- 23:47Speaker 1: nineteen eighty not nineteen joy, Oh, it's close. Yeah, man,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I don't know a lot of celebrity deaths from that time. Really,
- 23:57Speaker 1: I have no idea. I might have to go to
- 24:00Speaker 1: my lifeline for the first fucking question, a.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Musician that died. Have no help here.
- 24:06Speaker 5: I was gonna say, uh, the singer of the fucking.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I don't even know the band, what I I know
- 24:14Speaker 2: nothing about this? Yeah, the singer of that band?
- 24:19Speaker 5: H No, oh, no, the guy Yoko Ono's husband.
- 24:23Speaker 2: That's what I said. I don't know the answer, all right,
- 24:30Speaker 2: so you're forfeiting. The answer is Bob Marley a man?
- 24:35Speaker 2: When did they try to kill him? Who tried to
- 24:37Speaker 2: kill him for what? I don't know.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I think he was like shot out on stage. We
- 24:40Speaker 1: have to ask Andy this again. Man.
- 24:43Speaker 7: Bob Marley was in Jamaica and he was about to
- 24:45Speaker 7: perform at this peace concert called the Smile Jamaica Concert,
- 24:49Speaker 7: And just a couple of days before that concert, some
- 24:51Speaker 7: gunman came into his home and tried to assassinate him.
- 24:54Speaker 7: He actually got shot, and so did his wife and
- 24:56Speaker 7: his manager, but luckily they all survived. And then just
- 24:59Speaker 7: too days later, but Marley still went on stage and
- 25:02Speaker 7: performed that concert. It's kind of become this legendary moment
- 25:05Speaker 7: of resilience and just how committed he was to spreading
- 25:08Speaker 7: the message a piece.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Our lovely assistant, Ai Andy, thank you.
- 25:12Speaker 6: Question two?
- 25:15Speaker 1: All right, current events or lyric challenge? Lyric challenge? Okay,
- 25:23Speaker 1: you don't know me? All right, lyric challenge. I read
- 25:26Speaker 1: the lyrics. You tell me what the song is. I
- 25:27Speaker 1: thought love was only true in fairy tales, meant for
- 25:30Speaker 1: someone else, but not for me. Love was out to
- 25:33Speaker 1: get me. That's the way it seemed. Disappointment haunted all
- 25:37Speaker 1: my dreams, and.
- 25:38Speaker 2: When I saw her face, I'm a believer.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm a believer. By who? There's two versions?
- 25:47Speaker 2: Right? Wow?
- 25:48Speaker 1: Okay, believe if I try. I don't remember who did
- 25:52Speaker 1: the original husband, No, no, no, I don't remember. I don't
- 25:58Speaker 1: remember who did the one. You're thinking of them. It's
- 26:01Speaker 1: not God smash Mouth very good. People refer to them
- 26:06Speaker 1: as the Shrek song band. Yeah for sure. Yeah, he
- 26:09Speaker 1: passed away, didn't he? Who smash Yeah her mouth. That's
- 26:13Speaker 1: a video somewhere on the internet. Thing. The other version

- 26:20Speaker 2: I still do well.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Question three What Morning News Program is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary.
- 26:30Speaker 1: The Morning News Program, The What Morning News Program, Good

- 26:53Speaker 1: now that's a rumor. Is that a rumor? Yeah, it's
- 26:55Speaker 1: a rumor. You believe everything you read online. You know,
- 26:58Speaker 1: you're very gullible, you are if you.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Guys are reading Gail King rumors, you need to find
- 27:04Speaker 5: better now.
- 27:06Speaker 1: But that's just like the same thing happened happened to
- 27:08Speaker 1: Howard Stern.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Happened to her.
- 27:10Speaker 1: The news and the media started reporting that she was
- 27:13Speaker 1: out at CBS and she came out and she was like,
- 27:16Speaker 1: that's fucking news to me. Wow, same thing with Howard Stern.
- 27:19Speaker 1: So it wasn't a reputable news source. It was just
- 27:21Speaker 1: a rumor that had leaked a Yeah, all right, all right,
- 27:24Speaker 1: I don't feel too bad that.

- 27:49Speaker 3: The worst part about it is that it's not even words.
- 27:52Speaker 3: It's numbers. Yeah, which is and it's also so fucking stupid.
- 27:58Speaker 3: All right, well, then say seven because you know it? Yeah, man,
- 28:02Speaker 3: six seven, that's why I was for Halloween. You were
- 28:04Speaker 3: six seven for Halloween? Yeah, like in height or something. No,
- 28:08Speaker 3: put a six on the front, seven on the back?
- 28:09Speaker 3: Did you call the day?
- 28:11Speaker 1: Can you explain it to me? As a young person?
- 28:13Speaker 2: Nobody knows what it is.
- 28:14Speaker 1: It doesn't mean anything, right, It's kind of like the
- 28:17Speaker 1: people saying six to seven are a hell of a
- 28:18Speaker 1: lot younger than I am.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Yeah they are. No, it means you're indifferent about something.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Six sixty seven? Why those two numbers are because it's
- 28:27Speaker 1: a song.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Naomi's kids gave me the whole breakdown, which they explained it,
- 28:31Speaker 5: and it made me farther from what I understood of reality.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So I got some doozies for you. Six seven, Yeah,
- 28:40Speaker 1: that's six seven sounds stupid. How many of these are
- 28:43Speaker 1: gonna get wrong? Six seven seven even though there's only
- 28:46Speaker 1: four Yeah, sounds about right. Good old math there, Who
- 28:49Speaker 1: did that? Matt doctor oz Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Question number one. Okay.
- 28:57Speaker 1: As of twenty twenty five, there are two countries with
- 29:00Speaker 1: populations that are over a billion people. What are they?
- 29:04Speaker 2: Two?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Two countries?
- 29:07Speaker 3: As of twenty twenty five, there are two countries with
- 29:09Speaker 3: populations over a billion people.
- 29:12Speaker 1: All right, so India has got to be one of them. Okay,
- 29:15Speaker 1: there's a ton of people in India.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Uh.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I want to say India and China because I think
- 29:23Speaker 1: that the uh, you know, the people statistics.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I think it's.
- 29:28Speaker 1: India China US right. Wouldn't that makes sense?
- 29:33Speaker 3: And I don't know, Tyler, what do you think you
- 29:35Speaker 3: were just on your phone paying attention to the show
- 29:36Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I'm sure I would say the answer is six seven? Yeah, Tyler,
- 29:44Speaker 2: what was the question? Actually? Do you remember the question?
- 29:46Speaker 1: H What was the question?
- 29:47Speaker 2: Uh? I thought that was more for you guys. No,
- 29:53Speaker 2: you're the lifeline A. What is the question? I'll help.
- 29:56Speaker 3: As of twenty twenty five, there are two countries with
- 29:59Speaker 3: populations over a bill in people.
- 30:00Speaker 1: What two countries are they? And I'm saying China and India.
- 30:04Speaker 1: That's my gut instinct.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I would say that. I would say that's uh, say
- 30:08Speaker 2: you're right.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Question two, What word means the study and practice of
- 30:17Speaker 3: making maps?
- 30:19Speaker 2: Oh? I know this.
- 30:21Speaker 1: What word means the study and practice of making maps?
- 30:25Speaker 2: Now?
- 30:25Speaker 3: Tyler said, well, I know it, but he also hasn't
- 30:30Speaker 3: been paying attention.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Do you want to go anyone to ask me? Oh?
- 30:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 30:35Speaker 1: He was pretty confident. I want to try to sound
- 30:37Speaker 1: it out and figure it out myself. All right, Sounding
- 30:40Speaker 1: it sounded out mapologist close, Tyler disagrees. He doesn't think
- 30:48Speaker 1: you're close at all. Map Yeah, map a geography? That's geography,
- 30:54Speaker 1: is it not? There's some GRAFFI in the word. Word
- 30:57Speaker 1: means the study in practice of making maps.
- 31:00Speaker 2: I might even be wrong. I don't. I'm not. I'm
- 31:02Speaker 2: like eighty percent sure.
- 31:04Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna go to my lifeline if he's
- 31:05Speaker 1: eighty percent sure? Is it topography? No?
- 31:08Speaker 2: Topography? What the hell? What is it?
- 31:11Speaker 1: Car? Top fuck? Cartography? Cartography? What's topography? I have no
- 31:16Speaker 1: idea topography? It's a cartography. Yeah, I'm gonna topography.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I think topography. Topography is uh? Is that what you said? Yeah?
- 31:31Speaker 2: I think that's something with the ocean, isn't it?
- 31:33Speaker 5: The study of physical features like mountains, valleys, and bodies
- 31:36Speaker 5: of water.
- 31:38Speaker 2: So that's topography, topography.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Topography because I just searched topography and I got the
- 31:45Speaker 1: arrangement of natural and artificial features of an area. Well
- 31:49Speaker 1: it's just similar, Yeah, like hills, rivers and roads exactly
- 31:53Speaker 1: seven seven six' ten six does in the other ships and. Giggles.
