An 18-year-old, Avaughn Ahmad Brown, now faces murder charges after fatally shooting another 18-year-old, Ja’Marion Rashawn Snell, on July 4th — despite already being flagged as a fugitive for prior gun and drug charges from Spring Break and a separate April shooting in Dothan. Brown had been released on bond for those earlier incidents, and his own bondsman attempted to revoke that bond just days before the murder.
