- 0:00Speaker 1: All right. Ron Verb from the Kingdom of Mahoning, 506
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you till 6 tonight. News Radio 570 WKBN. None
- 0:08Speaker 1: of the pro-Iranian war callers are out mowing their lawns, swimming,
- 0:13Speaker 1: having a cookout, or doing chores around the house today.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Laugh out loud. These are going to be the first
- 0:23Speaker 1: to say the GOP had weak candidates if the GOP
- 0:26Speaker 1: loses the majority in the midterms. They also be the
- 0:30Speaker 1: first to say, oh, we'll get them next time at
- 0:32Speaker 1: the polls. It's just a shame the GOP has the
- 0:34Speaker 1: majority now and they're doing nothing. We've become stuck in
- 0:39Speaker 1: a stalemate with Iran. That's it. The legacy of the
- 0:42Speaker 1: second term. All the focus should have been put on
- 0:47Speaker 1: doing what needs done to ensure retention of the majority
- 0:50Speaker 1: in Congress. It'll be too soon to go back to
- 0:54Speaker 1: the wacko ideas of the radical Dems in a position
- 0:58Speaker 1: of majority even in just the House. I was hoping
- 1:02Speaker 1: I wouldn't be subjected to that again in my lifetime.
- 1:06Speaker 1: From my email. Interesting. Comments? 330-729-9977, by the way. Our
- 1:13Speaker 1: top secret number is always 330-729-9977. If you'd like to
- 1:19Speaker 1: get in touch with me here in the Kingdom of Mahoning,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you're on the air.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Ronald.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Ted the Conservative. Yes, Theodore?
- 1:27Speaker 2: How are you doing? So much I was just doing
- 1:30Speaker 2: my own thing, and someone said, Ron mentioned your name
- 1:33Speaker 2: on the program today in regards to the MAGA cult.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Yes, I was just reading, you know, one of these
- 1:39Speaker 1: guys was a member of the MAGA cult, because if
- 1:42Speaker 1: you say anything negative about Trump, he's just, like, outraged
- 1:45Speaker 1: by it. And I started the program out today with
- 1:48Speaker 1: Gene Jean, the liberal.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And I said, you know, no, I said, Gene, the
- 1:53Speaker 2: mean machine.
- 1:54Speaker 1: No, I said, Gene, I agree with you about taking
- 1:56Speaker 1: his name off the Kennedy Center. I agree with you
- 2:01Speaker 1: on not having whatever wrestling or fighting match on the
- 2:05Speaker 1: White House grounds. And I said some of this stuff or,
- 2:09Speaker 1: you know, the butt kissing going on at the cabinet meetings.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I agree with that.
- 2:12Speaker 2: That's the most annoying, I think, is watching those cabinet meetings.
- 2:18Speaker 2: And they talk to him like he's a dictator. They
- 2:22Speaker 2: talk to him like he's Vladimir Putin.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:24Speaker 2: That's how they treat him, you know. Yes. They have
- 2:27Speaker 2: to kiss the ring. Yes.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And I don't like it.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I thought the only person that had the ring kissed
- 2:32Speaker 2: was Ron Verb. I thought that that was the only
- 2:34Speaker 2: time the ring had been kissed was Ron Verb. Yeah.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Well, now you're really hallucinating. Yeah.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Hey, I forgot what I was going to say now.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I missed the beginning of the program, but I caught J.J. talking.
- 2:47Speaker 2: When I tuned it in because someone told me that
- 2:49Speaker 2: you mentioned my name, I said, well, let's give Ron
- 2:51Speaker 2: a call because I'm going to be away for a
- 2:53Speaker 2: couple of days.
- 2:53Speaker 1: What do you mean you're going to be away? What
- 2:56Speaker 1: are you going to the psychiatric unit?
- 2:58Speaker 2: No, no, I'm heading up to New Jersey and New
- 3:01Speaker 2: York for a couple of days.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Now, why are you going to New Jersey so much?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Is it that you are, are you like some type
- 3:07Speaker 1: of drug mule or something?
- 3:11Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't do such a thing like that.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Are you going up there knocking people off, throwing them
- 3:15Speaker 1: in the river? I mean, you know, you're always going
- 3:18Speaker 1: to Jersey.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I talked to Big Tony about you and G2, and
- 3:20Speaker 2: I told you he sent me a message back to
- 3:22Speaker 2: you guys, but I can't say it over the radio,
- 3:25Speaker 2: not what it was.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, Ted the Conservative. What do
- 3:29Speaker 1: you make of this situation that, to me, stinks to
- 3:31Speaker 1: high heaven in California? I mean, they mail everybody a ballot,
- 3:36Speaker 1: even if you're dead, I suspect. I mean, this is ridiculous.
- 3:39Speaker 2: You know what? You know, I think the laws out
- 3:42Speaker 2: there are crazy that you can mail a ballot in
- 3:44Speaker 2: up to election day. The state election system is broken
- 3:51Speaker 2: across the country. I think the federal government should step
- 3:54Speaker 2: in and make some federal laws that govern all elections.
- 3:58Speaker 2: It's goofy. It's really goofy. In Florida, they close the
- 4:03Speaker 2: polls and they have the results in three hours. In California,
- 4:06Speaker 2: they close the polls and they have a month to counsel. So,
- 4:10Speaker 2: you know, there may not be any fraud. Who knows?
- 4:13Speaker 2: You don't know. I don't know. Because it takes so long.
- 4:17Speaker 2: it gives the appearance that something shady is being done.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you this, Will. I think when
- 4:25Speaker 1: you're mailing out ballots to everybody, you don't know if
- 4:28Speaker 1: they're dead. You don't know if they've moved. You don't
- 4:31Speaker 1: know who's voting that ballot. When you get that going
- 4:35Speaker 1: on in drop boxes and you have people saying, well,
- 4:38Speaker 1: what's going on is mathematically impossible. So when Trump says,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I smell a rat here, And this girl on Meet
- 4:47Speaker 1: the Press says, Kristen Walker or whatever says, well, what
- 4:51Speaker 1: proof do you have of that? Well, I counted that
- 4:54Speaker 1: to say, what proof does she have that everything's legitimate?
- 4:57Speaker 2: I would counter and say, what proof do you have
- 5:00Speaker 2: to say that it's not?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Right.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I mean, I just.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Remember Trump's going to bed, was it 2020, going to bed,
- 5:10Speaker 2: Trump's up hundreds of thousands of votes across, what, three states.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I think it was Pennsylvania, Georgia, and one up north,
- 5:20Speaker 2: maybe Michigan.
- 5:22Speaker 1: And remember, they stopped counting and closed places down. It
- 5:25Speaker 1: was bizarre.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:27Speaker 3: And you know what?
- 5:28Speaker 2: There was a statement made by Gavin Newsom a couple
- 5:31Speaker 2: weeks ago. And, you know, the guy says things like this,
- 5:34Speaker 2: so it makes you wonder. But he basically said that,
- 5:37Speaker 2: you know, there's no way that they'll allow these guys
- 5:39Speaker 2: to win. They have a plan in place for that.
- 5:43Speaker 2: And He said it on a podcast. He may have
- 5:45Speaker 2: been speaking in jest, you know, sarcastically. But when you
- 5:49Speaker 2: say things like that and then we see things like
- 5:51Speaker 2: this happen, yeah, which person could assume that something's not.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Legitimate or something stinks right i mean when i'm hearing.
- 6:00Speaker 2: People smoke this fire let's be honest.
- 6:02Speaker 1: When i'm hearing people say well mathematically ted that it's
- 6:06Speaker 1: that this isn't possible the the amount that's coming in
- 6:10Speaker 1: something statistically is off that piques my interest i mean
- 6:14Speaker 1: it has everything i mean you had the the woman
- 6:17Speaker 1: who's now uh again beating this uh What's the actor's name?
- 6:23Speaker 2: Pratt.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Pratt. And she was crying and conceding before that. And
- 6:28Speaker 1: now all of a sudden, oh, listen, he's out, I'm in.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Even she thought she was out. This is, I mean,
- 6:34Speaker 1: first of all, how they do their elections, Ted, is bizarre. Okay,
- 6:38Speaker 1: we're going to have almost like an open primary, and
- 6:40Speaker 1: then you vote on that, and then now we have
- 6:43Speaker 1: two Democrats running against each other. The whole system out there.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I think they do that so they can literally block
- 6:49Speaker 2: the Republicans out through fraud or maybe not fraud. I
- 6:53Speaker 2: don't know. But, you know, I haven't looked at it.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I've heard some stuff on the news today. I haven't
- 6:56Speaker 2: had a chance to look at anything. But it would
- 6:58Speaker 2: be interesting to look at vote totals. What did all
- 7:01Speaker 2: the Democrats, other Democrats, get? And then add up Pratt's
- 7:06Speaker 2: vote total on the other person. You could probably get
- 7:08Speaker 2: an idea if it's real or not.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Isn't it interesting, though, all of the things that the
- 7:13Speaker 1: Democrats said about the Trump supporters and the Trump people.
- 7:17Speaker 1: They're Nazis. He's Hitler. Nazis. All of this Nazi stuff.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And now they're defending a guy. Who's a Nazi. Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now they're defending a guy with a Nazi death camp uniform.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Symbol tattooed on his chest.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Tell me this. Oh, wise one. Oh, wise one wrong.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Yes. Yes, I'm here.
- 7:40Speaker 2: How can you get a Nazi tattoo on your chest
- 7:45Speaker 2: and not know it's a Nazi tattoo? Could you help
- 7:47Speaker 2: me understand that one?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I mean, when you look at these guys, these guys
- 7:51Speaker 1: are supporting a guy that's on these less than honorable websites.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Let me put it that way. He's cheating on his wife.
- 8:02Speaker 1: He's on these websites that are not good things. He's
- 8:07Speaker 1: got this Nazi thing on his chest. And these are
- 8:10Speaker 1: the people who were critical of Kavanaugh or Trump. And
- 8:15Speaker 1: they use this Nazi stuff all the way. And you
- 8:18Speaker 1: got to believe the women. Now these same Democrats are
- 8:21Speaker 1: making excuses for this guy and supporting him. Because victory
- 8:26Speaker 1: matters more than the standards of this guy's a bum.
- 8:30Speaker 1: This guy is really, he's reprehensible.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I heard the common sense senator, common sense Democrat senator
- 8:39Speaker 2: from Pennsylvania, who may be the only common sense Democrat.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And I'm glad you brought him up. You mean Fetterman.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Fetterman.
- 8:47Speaker 1: What did you hear him say?
- 8:48Speaker 2: Because he made some comments that these websites that this
- 8:52Speaker 2: guy was on, Very recently, like within a month, within
- 8:56Speaker 2: the last month, posting a picture of himself standing in
- 8:58Speaker 2: front of a mirror with nothing but a towel wrapped
- 9:01Speaker 2: around his waist, he implied that these are child predator-type websites.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I don't even know. I'm not familiar with all these things,
- 9:13Speaker 2: but I think he said it's called Kik. I have
- 9:15Speaker 2: no clue what Kik is. I don't know. Is that
- 9:17Speaker 2: like a Snapchat thing? I don't know what it is.
- 9:21Speaker 2: But he's posting pictures of himself wearing a towel on
- 9:24Speaker 2: these websites, talking to girls. And Fetterman says, those are
- 9:27Speaker 2: little kids that get on Kik. So he said, I
- 9:31Speaker 2: guess he challenged him to release all of his communications
- 9:36Speaker 2: via Kik and Fetterman, so he'd wear a suit to
- 9:38Speaker 2: Congress every day. If he would disclose all his communications
- 9:42Speaker 2: with girls that he spoke to on his website.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Here's how foolish the Democrat Party is. They keep saying,
- 9:50Speaker 1: we're not connecting with men. And we need, they think
- 9:54Speaker 1: this Plattner is the guy that helps them connect with men.
- 9:58Speaker 1: This is how out of time. they are. You want
- 10:01Speaker 1: to know, Ted, the best person that they have that
- 10:04Speaker 1: can connect with men would be Fetterman. Fetterman comes across
- 10:09Speaker 1: as a man, and he's the best person. I think
- 10:14Speaker 1: they have to make a connection with common people and
- 10:17Speaker 1: with men that has common sense.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I agree. Look what they're doing to them.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yes, look what they're doing to them.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Because he votes with Democrats only 98% of the time,
- 10:30Speaker 2: and he votes with Trump a few times, they're going
- 10:32Speaker 2: to primary him. They're going to try to get rid
- 10:34Speaker 2: of him. And whoever thought, when he was running originally,
- 10:38Speaker 2: that he would be the most common sense Democrat.
- 10:40Speaker 1: In Congress, I would have never dreamed it. But it's
- 10:45Speaker 1: interesting that they're attacking Fetterman at the same time they're
- 10:48Speaker 1: defending Graham Plattner.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. I remember when Pete Hegseth was going through
- 10:55Speaker 2: his appointment hearing, confirmation hearing, and liberals were up in
- 11:01Speaker 2: arms because he had a cross. I guess he got
- 11:05Speaker 2: a lot of tattoos. One of the tattoos on his
- 11:08Speaker 2: chest is a cross.
- 11:10Speaker 4: I guess, you know, he may have had struggles in life,
- 11:12Speaker 4: but he comes across, I guess, as a very spiritual
- 11:15Speaker 4: person now. They just thought that was deplorable. And now
- 11:18Speaker 4: they got a guy with a Lassie tattoo on his chest,
- 11:21Speaker 4: and they're okay with that.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Like, they just make, like, that, Will Connor, did you
- 11:26Speaker 2: see him over the weekend? You know, he was the biggest, um,
- 11:30Speaker 2: loudest voice when it came to all the accusations made against, uh,
- 11:36Speaker 2: Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh by those women. None of them were,
- 11:40Speaker 2: what's the word I want to use, verified. But remember
- 11:45Speaker 2: what he said, believe all women.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Believe all women.
- 11:48Speaker 4: You've got to believe the women. You've got to believe
- 11:49Speaker 4: the women. So you've got all these women that come
- 11:51Speaker 4: out against this Nazi tattoo guy.
- 11:56Speaker 2: And what does he do?
- 11:57Speaker 4: Well, he's out there campaigning with the guy over the weekend.
- 12:00Speaker 4: You know, It just goes to show you how two-faced
- 12:03Speaker 4: they are. They don't care. They never cared about Epstein's victims.
- 12:10Speaker 2: They only cared how they could use those victims to
- 12:12Speaker 2: elevate themselves, whether it was Tom Matthews or Roe Korn.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I told you Tom Matthews has been crickets on Epstein
- 12:18Speaker 2: ever since he lost his election. If he truly cared
- 12:21Speaker 2: about the victims of Epstein, he would have stood on
- 12:25Speaker 2: the floor of Congress where they have complete immunity to
- 12:28Speaker 2: say whatever they want to say as a congressman, and
- 12:30Speaker 2: he could have read the names... of the men he
- 12:33Speaker 2: claimed were on the Epstein list. But, you know, people
- 12:37Speaker 2: fall for the BS. That's all. You know, I don't
- 12:39Speaker 2: know what else to say. People fall for the BS
- 12:41Speaker 2: and that's why you get what you get.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Well, here's a, I was just reading something else. Let
- 12:47Speaker 1: me find it.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Thank you. I sent you a message.
- 12:49Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Let me
- 12:51Speaker 1: see here.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I got my, I got my bandage off today.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Oh, wait a second. I want to hear about that.
- 12:56Speaker 1: But growing numbers say America's best days are over. Listen
- 13:00Speaker 1: to this folks. Okay. Listen to this. A new poll
- 13:03Speaker 1: reveals a decline in Americans' belief that the U.S. stands
- 13:06Speaker 1: above all other countries with only a quarter now considering
- 13:10Speaker 1: its superior. There is a growing disagreement on fundamental aspects
- 13:15Speaker 1: of America's character with fewer Americans deeming a Democrat-elected government
- 13:26Speaker 1: as crucial to the nation's identity. Younger generations exhibit more
- 13:31Speaker 1: pronounced skepticism with 44% under 30 believing other countries surpass
- 13:37Speaker 1: the U.S. and only about half considering democracy a key
- 13:42Speaker 1: element of the nation's identity. A majority of U.S. adults
- 13:45Speaker 1: believe the American dream once held true but does not
- 13:50Speaker 1: anymore with significant partisan differences in this belief. Division also
- 13:56Speaker 1: emerges on the importance of diversity to America's identity with
- 14:01Speaker 1: younger Americans less inclined to prioritize a singular set of
- 14:06Speaker 1: values and sharp partisan splits on the centrality of welcoming
- 14:14Speaker 1: diverse perspectives. So, see, it's weird. I think that younger
- 14:20Speaker 1: people always thought the American dream was better for the
- 14:24Speaker 1: people before them. Somewhere along the line, people seem to think,
- 14:28Speaker 1: or the younger generation seem to think, It was easy
- 14:32Speaker 1: for my generation to buy a house and this kind
- 14:34Speaker 1: of stuff. Well, it still cost a lot of money
- 14:38Speaker 1: based on what you bought back then. I mean, it's
- 14:42Speaker 1: all subject. How much did you make? How much was
- 14:45Speaker 1: the house? How much were you borrowing? Everybody thinks a
- 14:49Speaker 1: generation before them had it easier, and that isn't the case.
- 14:54Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't say we had it any easier. I
- 14:57Speaker 2: would say that we had Maybe what we had was
- 15:00Speaker 2: more opportunities. I don't know in today's world how it's
- 15:05Speaker 2: changed so much. I just don't know. I can't relate
- 15:07Speaker 2: to the opportunities or lack thereof of young kids today.
- 15:11Speaker 2: But I think we could agree that the inflation that
- 15:14Speaker 2: Joe Biden's presidency put us through, where he increased the
- 15:17Speaker 2: cost of living in four years by about 50%. you know,
- 15:21Speaker 2: sent the country in a bad direction and made it
- 15:24Speaker 2: really hard for kids. And then you get a Federal
- 15:26Speaker 2: Reserve who raises interest rates and refuses to lower their
- 15:29Speaker 2: molested campaign time, and Joe Biden's running for office. But,
- 15:33Speaker 2: you know, that's a whole other conversation. I think you
- 15:36Speaker 2: know where I stand on interest rates. I think that's
- 15:38Speaker 2: a joke. I think if they would lower interest rates,
- 15:40Speaker 2: small business would boom better than it's doing now. There's
- 15:44Speaker 2: so many. If anyone's ever been in small business..
- 15:48Speaker 1: Stand by. Stand by. Back with Ted the Conservative. And
- 15:51Speaker 1: more calls straight ahead. We're here tonight until 6. Longstown's News, Weather,
- 15:56Speaker 1: and Talk Station, 570 WKBN. Ron Verb, News Radio, 570
- 16:00Speaker 1: WKBN with Ted the Conservative. You know what? J.J. the
- 16:04Speaker 1: Liberal sent me some photos of some of his artwork.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Are you ready for this?
- 16:08Speaker 2: How does it look? Yes, how does it look?
- 16:10Speaker 1: It's not bad. I mean, it's like... I don't know
- 16:16Speaker 1: how to describe it. It's not like you're looking at
- 16:18Speaker 1: a portrait or anything like that. It looks like you're
- 16:21Speaker 1: looking at the Earth and another planet. It looks like
- 16:26Speaker 1: a view from space. Then he's got one like that
- 16:32Speaker 1: with the bat signal.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Does that indicate he was smoking marijuana and was high?
- 16:37Speaker 1: No. It's actually not bad. It's actually not bad.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah. In complete transparency, when he was talking about going
- 16:46Speaker 2: to the flea market, I thought to myself, I should
- 16:50Speaker 2: take a ride out to the flea market and meet J.J.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Yes.
- 16:53Speaker 2: And then I forgot about it.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Well, there you go.
- 16:58Speaker 2: That would be..
- 17:01Speaker 1: Can you imagine that? I would worship the picture of
- 17:04Speaker 1: Ted the conservative and J.J. the liberal in the same snapshot.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I would go buy one of his photographs, and I'd
- 17:12Speaker 2: give it to you as a gift. How's that?
- 17:15Speaker 1: Some of it's not bad. I was just looking at it.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I would hang it in the studio.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I'm very familiar. That's the area I grew up at.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I grew up in Camel. The old flea market used
- 17:30Speaker 2: to be what they called bargain port. It was the
- 17:34Speaker 2: Ace Hardware before Ace Hardware ever came into existence.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Now, what do you think of Trump walking out on
- 17:41Speaker 1: Kristen Welker on Meet the Press? I thought it was
- 17:44Speaker 1: a good thing.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I watched it, and I was laughing. I thought it
- 17:48Speaker 2: was great. I thought it was great. You know, I
- 17:51Speaker 2: think he was frustrated for a lot of reasons. They
- 17:53Speaker 2: were sitting in a barn that sounded like with some
- 17:56Speaker 2: type of a metal roofing, and it was storming hard.
- 17:59Speaker 2: And I think it was a difficult situation to begin with.
- 18:02Speaker 2: They couldn't hear. And I think after sitting there for
- 18:05Speaker 2: an hour... When she started with that crazy far-left stuff
- 18:09Speaker 2: that they do, I think he had enough. And, again,
- 18:13Speaker 2: you know, this goes to the bigger picture with Trump.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I hate when he says some of the things he says.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Last week, he attacked the girl from CNN, calling her
- 18:23Speaker 2: dumb and stupid. This week, he attacked that little girl
- 18:27Speaker 2: on Meet the Depressed. I call it Meet the Depressed,
- 18:30Speaker 2: either way. It's not Meet the Depressed. It's Meet the Depressed.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Those liberals are all depressed. They just hate the world.
- 18:35Speaker 2: They sound like a lot of your callers. A lot
- 18:37Speaker 2: of your callers seem very depressed all the time, calling
- 18:40Speaker 2: up and telling us how the world's coming to an end.
- 18:42Speaker 2: But anyways, he attacked her personally, and she said something,
- 18:47Speaker 2: I'm not crooked, and he said, well, maybe if you're
- 18:49Speaker 2: not crooked, you're done. You know, that's the thing that
- 18:52Speaker 2: bothers me the most about him. To be honest with you,
- 18:55Speaker 2: he used to really bother me.
- 18:58Speaker 1: The personal insults.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Yeah, the personal attacks. But that, you know... And it
- 19:02Speaker 2: goes back to your MAGA cult. I'll never forget when
- 19:05Speaker 2: I called him a narcissistic. I had a few choice words.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I think the big one was his narcissism. And I
- 19:11Speaker 2: remember the backlash I got from the MAGA cult who
- 19:14Speaker 2: listens to your program. My goodness. I can't remember that.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Oh, do I remember it? Yes, I do.
- 19:21Speaker 2: My goodness gracious. If you say anything negative about the guy,
- 19:26Speaker 2: they lose their marbles. They act like he is You know,
- 19:31Speaker 2: Jesus Christ, they worship him like he's a God. And
- 19:33Speaker 2: that's scary because you watch some of those cabinet meetings
- 19:36Speaker 2: and they do the same thing. They talk about him
- 19:39Speaker 2: and they treat him like he's God.
- 19:42Speaker 1: In other words, the personal insults that he hurls like
- 19:45Speaker 1: at Caitlin Collins and Kristen Welker or whatever her name is,
- 19:50Speaker 1: he can take the mic off and say, there's no
- 19:52Speaker 1: point in going on here because you're asking me what
- 19:55Speaker 1: proof do I have? What proof do you have that
- 19:57Speaker 1: it's all legitimate? I mean, when you look at the
- 20:00Speaker 1: math of what's going on out there, You have every
- 20:03Speaker 1: right to be suspicious on how long this has taken
- 20:05Speaker 1: in mailing everybody a ballot and the dramatic changes to
- 20:10Speaker 1: be suspicious of it all and to just say, oh,
- 20:14Speaker 1: I'm not suspicious at all. I mean, it's just ridiculous.
- 20:18Speaker 2: When he attacks people like that, all he does is
- 20:21Speaker 2: make himself look bad. And that's just, he'll never change.
- 20:25Speaker 2: That's who Donald Trump is. And I've just come to
- 20:28Speaker 2: learn to ignore that stuff, ignore the noise, don't let
- 20:31Speaker 2: it bother me so bad. Now I just ignore it
- 20:35Speaker 2: and I stick that, I just focus on what matters most.
- 20:38Speaker 2: He's in the White House, whether he's getting everything done
- 20:41Speaker 2: we want or not, at least the Democrats not in there.
- 20:44Speaker 2: And for four years, at least we won't see any
- 20:46Speaker 2: leftist ideology policy go through, whether he gets everything done
- 20:51Speaker 2: we want. We just have to hope that when he's done...
- 20:54Speaker 2: that we can replace him maybe with a Marco Rubio.
- 20:57Speaker 2: That would be my hope. I think Marco Rubio has
- 21:01Speaker 2: been the most..
- 21:02Speaker 1: Wait a minute. Stand by. Stand by. I'm back with
- 21:04Speaker 1: Ted Moore. News Radio 570. WKVN. With Ted the Conservative,
- 21:11Speaker 1: Ron Verp from the Kingdom of Mahoning. So Trump announced
- 21:14Speaker 1: $ 700 million supporting the coal industry. Ted's... $ 700 million in
- 21:19Speaker 1: federal funding to support the coal industry aiming to revive
- 21:23Speaker 1: a declining energy source. The funding includes $ 425 million for
- 21:27Speaker 1: upgrades to existing coal-fired power plants, which I agree with
- 21:32Speaker 1: because I've said this for the longest time. When it
- 21:34Speaker 1: comes to generating electricity, I want everybody to know the
- 21:37Speaker 1: war on coal, Hillary Clinton and Obama— regulating coal plants
- 21:43Speaker 1: out of business, insisting that they be torn down so
- 21:45Speaker 1: they couldn't be turned back on without anything to replace
- 21:49Speaker 1: the power that they generated in line. That's why we
- 21:52Speaker 1: have a high energy cost because of their stupidity. And
- 21:56Speaker 1: so Trump is saying, okay, we're going to have $ 425
- 22:00Speaker 1: million for upgrades to existing coal-fired plants in multiple states
- 22:05Speaker 1: and $ 75 million for a coal exports terminal in Oakland, California.
- 22:11Speaker 1: I support all of this stuff because you've got to
- 22:13Speaker 1: have diversity when it comes to making electricity. You cannot have–
- 22:18Speaker 1: if everything's natural gas, natural gas demand goes up. To
- 22:22Speaker 1: heat your house will cost you more. You better have hydro.
- 22:25Speaker 1: You better have natural gas. You better have coal. You
- 22:27Speaker 1: better have diversity. So I kind of like this idea.
- 22:32Speaker 2: You know, I know you've probably upset the magic cult
- 22:36Speaker 2: in the last couple weeks because you've been very critical–
- 22:39Speaker 2: of Donald Trump, and I'm sure they're very.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Upset by that.
- 22:42Speaker 2: So maybe if you think of some of the positive
- 22:44Speaker 2: things he's done, maybe you'll get back in their good graces.
- 22:47Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 22:49Speaker 1: Well, that is a positive thing, because if you don't have..
- 22:51Speaker 2: There's a lot he does, you know? I mean, we're focusing,
- 22:54Speaker 2: I shouldn't say we, I think some of your callers
- 22:57Speaker 2: have been so focused on this war, just because they
- 23:00Speaker 2: don't like it and they disagree with it, that they're
- 23:02Speaker 2: losing focus of the things that Donald Trump has done.
- 23:06Speaker 2: And there's numerous of them.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I don't think any of the folks that are critical,
- 23:09Speaker 1: the Republicans of the war, would vote for a Democrat.
- 23:13Speaker 1: They're critical of the war, but that doesn't mean they
- 23:15Speaker 1: would vote for Sherrod Brown.
- 23:16Speaker 2: You know what that seems to me to be very
- 23:17Speaker 2: honest with you? You have to remember, we've got a
- 23:19Speaker 2: lot of low-information, unintelligent voters.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Yes, low-information voters.
- 23:25Speaker 2: They might be perusing the AM radio station, cruising in
- 23:29Speaker 2: their vehicles, and they hear this guy Ron Verb, and
- 23:33Speaker 2: they hear all these people talking negative about Donald Trump.
- 23:36Speaker 2: They might say, hey, this guy, I'm listening to this guy.
- 23:38Speaker 2: He says everything Trump does is bad. I'm going to
- 23:40Speaker 2: vote for a Democrat. So we have to be careful
- 23:43Speaker 2: that we, it's okay to be critical, but we have
- 23:45Speaker 2: to always stay focused. The number one rule is we
- 23:48Speaker 2: never vote for Democrats. We do criticize our own, and
- 23:53Speaker 2: we do support Donald Trump, whether we agree with everything
- 23:56Speaker 2: he does or not. We voted for him. We agree
- 23:57Speaker 2: with him. We'd never vote for a Democrat, right? And
- 24:02Speaker 2: then rule number one, when you go on that ballot, well,
- 24:04Speaker 2: I guess you don't even know if you can call
- 24:05Speaker 2: it a ballot booth anymore. They just have tables set up.
- 24:09Speaker 2: But we never vote for Democrats, do we?
- 24:13Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Because even if they're local officials, just remember, they support
- 24:19Speaker 2: all this stuff at the national level.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Well, you are right about that. I mean, it's... I know.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Sometimes I look at people that..
- 24:28Speaker 2: I know you want to pull that Democrat lever sometimes.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Well, sometimes I think, okay... This person. And then I see, oh,
- 24:33Speaker 1: they're supporting Amy Acton or they're supporting Sherrod Brown. And
- 24:36Speaker 1: it's like, oh, for the love of God.
- 24:38Speaker 2: They support these nuts. These nuts are the goddess here.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Hey, did you see that picture I sent you?
- 24:46Speaker 1: When?
- 24:48Speaker 2: A little while ago.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Let me see. Wait a minute. How little while ago
- 24:53Speaker 1: is it?
- 24:55Speaker 2: A couple minutes, 5, 10, 15 minutes ago.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Let me see.
- 24:57Speaker 2: It would be on your phone, I believe.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Oh. Wait a minute.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Hey, is that a glass of iced tea I hear
- 25:08Speaker 2: jingling in the background?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I thought I heard that.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Yes. Boy, you are very perceptive. You are extremely perceptive
- 25:20Speaker 1: on that. Is it just any iced tea, Ted, or
- 25:22Speaker 1: is it the iced tea that..
- 25:25Speaker 2: No, it is not any iced tea. Ron does not
- 25:27Speaker 2: drink any iced tea. He will not drink the iced tea.
- 25:30Speaker 2: His wife makes them either.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Yes.
- 25:33Speaker 2: He will only drink Milo's iced tea, I believe.
- 25:36Speaker 1: That is correct. Here's the great thing about Ted the Conservative, folks,
- 25:39Speaker 1: and I did it last night. What did you do?
- 25:42Speaker 1: I was saying to my son, hey, swing me on
- 25:44Speaker 1: into Meijer. He was getting some gas, and I said,
- 25:48Speaker 1: I got to go in, and I went in. Boom,
- 25:51Speaker 1: this is in Austintown, right in the front door, directly
- 25:54Speaker 1: to the back wall. There is my Milo. one gallon
- 25:59Speaker 1: unsweet iced tea, two ingredients, filtered water, and tea. I mean,
- 26:06Speaker 1: there's nothing else like you see in a lot of,
- 26:09Speaker 1: you know, it's just the two ingredients. So I bought
- 26:11Speaker 1: two gallons and took it home. I like the taste
- 26:15Speaker 1: of it. I mean, it tastes good to me. And
- 26:17Speaker 1: my wife says, and it's what.
- 26:19Speaker 2: $ 4.
- 26:19Speaker 1: 20 a gallon.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Is it unsweetened?
- 26:24Speaker 1: Unsweetened, yeah.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Okay, that's good because all that sugar is not good
- 26:28Speaker 2: for you. Right. I'll be honest. I like to drink.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Go ahead. I'm sorry.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I was looking at the case, and I said, okay,
- 26:34Speaker 1: clearly people buy more sweet tea, but I don't want
- 26:38Speaker 1: the sugar. I also like their lemonade, but my wife says, hey,
- 26:43Speaker 1: you can't buy that because there's too much sugar in it.
- 26:45Speaker 1: But keep in mind, Ted the Conservative, I gave up
- 26:48Speaker 1: drinking pop. So I'm not drinking pop. I did the
- 26:54Speaker 1: same thing, Ronald.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I gave up all sugar basically first of the year.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I didn't drink a lot of it. I wasn't an
- 27:01Speaker 2: addict like you were with that pop you drank. But
- 27:04Speaker 2: maybe once a week I might like to have a
- 27:06Speaker 2: glass or two, maybe once or twice a week, and
- 27:09Speaker 2: I stopped it. I wanted to say, like you, I
- 27:13Speaker 2: enjoy tea when the weather is nice. Do you drink
- 27:16Speaker 2: tea in the wintertime?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yes, I drink it all the time. Are you perceptive?
- 27:20Speaker 1: This is what scares me, folks, about Deadly Conservative. You
- 27:23Speaker 1: could hear that, then.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I could hear that, buddy. I'm very observant. Whether it's
- 27:29Speaker 2: a visual or audio, I see things that the average
- 27:32Speaker 2: person doesn't hear.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Now, what did you hear exactly?
- 27:35Speaker 2: I heard ice cubes in a glass jiggling around like
- 27:40Speaker 2: you were picking it up and putting it down.
- 27:42Speaker 1: You know what it is?
- 27:44Speaker 2: I hope you're not adding some whiskey in there.
- 27:48Speaker 1: No, this is how perceptive you are. And folks, this
- 27:52Speaker 1: is eerie for me. So I have this right here, Ted.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever heard of this. It's
- 27:56Speaker 1: a Yeti.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Yes, I have this Yeti cup here, which I put
- 28:03Speaker 1: it in. And then when it is empty, I have this.
- 28:10Speaker 1: This is like a Yeti. It isn't a cup. It
- 28:14Speaker 1: has like a, you put more in it and there's
- 28:17Speaker 1: a different type.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Like a thermos.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Almost like a thermos. So occasionally I have to open this,
- 28:24Speaker 1: if you hear that. I open that, and then I
- 28:28Speaker 1: pour it in that cup over there because both of
- 28:30Speaker 1: them have ice in it, and it's nice and cold.
- 28:33Speaker 1: And I try to do it. I try to do it. Now,
- 28:35Speaker 1: keep in mind, this is all live and real, so
- 28:38Speaker 1: I try to do it as quietly as is possible. But, Ted,
- 28:42Speaker 1: the conservative, bust me.
- 28:43Speaker 2: You've been discovered. You've been disclosed.
- 28:45Speaker 1: So, Ted, the conservative.
- 28:46Speaker 5: I remember.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I mentioned Thermos. You mentioned Yeti now. I remember back
- 28:51Speaker 2: in the day when you had to pack your lunch
- 28:52Speaker 2: to go to work and Pack that thermos up and
- 28:55Speaker 2: you decide you want to put coffee in that thermos. Oh.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Drink at lunch. Remember them days? Oh. Labor days, working hard.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I just saw the picture of your leg.
- 29:05Speaker 2: How about that?
- 29:09Speaker 1: It's healing. It's healing. You got a little bit of
- 29:11Speaker 1: a scar there.
- 29:12Speaker 2: A big scar.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 2: The bandage is off.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Can you walk? Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I walk.
- 29:19Speaker 2: No problem. But now that big area, that big triangle
- 29:23Speaker 2: here on the bottom is where the hole was. They
- 29:25Speaker 2: had to cut all that skin out to come back.
- 29:28Speaker 2: But that thing, Ron, no lie to you. When it happened,
- 29:32Speaker 2: that wound was about a half inch wide.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Isn't that amazing?
- 29:35Speaker 2: Isn't that amazing medicine? I'll tell you what. They are
- 29:38Speaker 2: the most unappreciated people. in the world because you don't
- 29:41Speaker 2: appreciate them until you need them. Nurses are the greatest
- 29:46Speaker 2: gift to mankind.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Good nurses. Not all nurses are great. They're like good nurses. Yeah,
- 29:52Speaker 1: they are great. I cannot get over how observant the
- 29:55Speaker 1: conservative is, folks. It's very eerie to me.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I'll tell you another little thing.
- 30:01Speaker 1: It's very eerie, and not only is he observant, he's
- 30:04Speaker 1: almost got like a psychic ability to know exactly what
- 30:08Speaker 1: went on. This is not the first time, gang, that
- 30:10Speaker 1: Ted the Conservative has said something so psychic it's deeply
- 30:15Speaker 1: disturbing to me.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 2: So you know what else I do? Let's say you
- 30:20Speaker 2: go into a restaurant or you go in somewhere where
- 30:22Speaker 2: you're going to sit down. You know, I will always
- 30:25Speaker 2: sit facing the door. I will try to sit in
- 30:31Speaker 2: the back, furthest corner of the area, and always sit
- 30:36Speaker 2: facing the door.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Very interesting.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Very interesting. I always said, Ted, at my age.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I try to sit as close to the restroom as possible.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Okay, my friend. I enjoyed our conversation.
- 30:57Speaker 1: All right. Now, don't forget me when you're in New Jersey.
- 31:00Speaker 1: A day without Ted the Conservative is..
- 31:02Speaker 2: Well, maybe I'll give you a call. I'm going to
- 31:03Speaker 2: be up there a couple days. I may have some
- 31:05Speaker 2: time Wednesday. All right.
- 31:06Speaker 1: It's a bad day.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Big Tony says it's okay.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Oh, you got it. Thank you, Ted. All right. You're
- 31:12Speaker 1: on the air.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Mr.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Rope.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's the pride and joy of
- 31:18Speaker 1: the Fifth Avenue mansion.
- 31:20Speaker 3: I thought I was the only one that scared you
- 31:23Speaker 3: with my insight... In regards to your finally getting off
- 31:28Speaker 3: of the sweet sugar situation.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Well, you know what?
- 31:32Speaker 2: You are correct.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Evidently, there's somebody else out there, too, huh?
- 31:36Speaker 2: No.
- 31:36Speaker 1: You know what? I feel..
- 31:39Speaker 2: Well, no, I..
- 31:40Speaker 3: I feel like I've been put in second place.
- 31:43Speaker 1: No, I don't mean that, because you were the one
- 31:45Speaker 1: I first..
- 31:45Speaker 2: Oh, my goodness.
- 31:46Speaker 3: I mean, come on. I mean, Fred the Conservative, and
- 31:49Speaker 3: I'm the one that started you on your journey. On
- 31:53Speaker 3: your journey.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Well, no, you would be the second one. The first
- 31:57Speaker 1: one I happen to live with.
- 31:59Speaker 2: No, I'm sorry. You're right.
- 32:00Speaker 1: The first one I live with. Yeah, she's the one
- 32:03Speaker 1: who says, listen, I love, like Dr. Pepper, I love
- 32:12Speaker 1: Pepsi and Coke. And I absolutely love it. I love
- 32:16Speaker 1: the taste. I love the fizz.
- 32:18Speaker 3: You have to get away from that word and that
- 32:21Speaker 3: way of thinking, because guess what? I love chocolate, and
- 32:25Speaker 3: I love drinking beer, but you have to be..
- 32:31Speaker 5: All right.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Well, okay.
- 32:32Speaker 3: What it's going to do to your insides, anyway.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I'm just saying to you, I thoroughly enjoyed, like, having
- 32:38Speaker 1: a Dr. Pepper and his stuff. So I literally gave
- 32:41Speaker 1: it up, and you're right in talking to you and
- 32:43Speaker 1: my wife on my back. You know how much sugar
- 32:46Speaker 1: is in that and all that kind of stuff. And
- 32:49Speaker 1: so I gave it up. So I said, screw it.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I'm done with it. And that's when– and I always
- 32:55Speaker 1: drank on sweet tea. I mean, it's not a big deal.
- 32:59Speaker 1: So I drink more of that. I drink that or
- 33:01Speaker 1: I drink water. Sometimes I sneak lemonade. But the reality
- 33:06Speaker 1: is I've stopped buying it. I don't get it when
- 33:09Speaker 1: I'm out. I've given it up. But I miss it.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I'm not going to tell you that I don't miss it.
- 33:16Speaker 1: But I have the willpower. Like, I would love a
- 33:20Speaker 1: Cherry Coke. It would be very tempting. But I've given
- 33:22Speaker 1: it up and... And not even in moderation, like my
- 33:26Speaker 1: wife says, well, everything in moderation. I said, no, I'm
- 33:28Speaker 1: not going to do it.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Well, your family doctor would pin a big star on
- 33:34Speaker 3: your chest for making the right decision.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I would hope so because, you know, it was just
- 33:41Speaker 1: there's so much sugar in that and so much wasted
- 33:44Speaker 1: calories and that kind of stuff.
- 33:46Speaker 3: So your wife has been trying to tell you for
- 33:49Speaker 3: 25 years.
- 33:50Speaker 1: It's not the first time I've given it up, but
- 33:51Speaker 1: I went, I gave it up for a period of
- 33:53Speaker 1: time and I went back to it. It's very, it
- 33:55Speaker 1: can be very addicting. Pop is very enjoyable. And I
- 33:58Speaker 1: tried like those, um, uh, carbonated flavored stuff. And I,
- 34:03Speaker 1: I really don't care for it. I, I'd rather just
- 34:06Speaker 1: get totally away from it all and just drink, uh,
- 34:09Speaker 1: iced tea.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Well, uh, if you talk to any physician or doctor
- 34:14Speaker 3: or nurse or whatever, you know, you've had, When did
- 34:17Speaker 3: you start your drinking of this?
- 34:19Speaker 4: What?
- 34:20Speaker 3: Vial liquid.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Of pop?
- 34:23Speaker 2: Yeah, pop.
- 34:25Speaker 1: You know, that's a great question you ask. I wanted
- 34:27Speaker 1: to give you some history. I never, we never drank
- 34:31Speaker 1: pop as kids. It wasn't even in our household. Pop
- 34:35Speaker 1: was never an option in our house. It wasn't in
- 34:38Speaker 1: our refrigerator, period. So growing up, I never drank pop
- 34:41Speaker 1: until probably I went to college.
- 34:44Speaker 2: And..
- 34:45Speaker 1: And then you would have it when you'd go out.
- 34:48Speaker 1: But I started– so I would say when I was
- 34:52Speaker 1: in college, I would have some of it. But I became–
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'd have two or three a day and over the–
- 35:01Speaker 1: you know. lately more than, than I did in the past.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Growing up as kids that we, we always drank iced
- 35:08Speaker 1: tea and, and that kind of stuff. My mother was
- 35:10Speaker 1: never a big one on, as a matter of fact,
- 35:12Speaker 1: there wasn't a lot where I grew up. There wasn't
- 35:14Speaker 1: like a McDonald's. I remember when they opened a burger chef,
- 35:18Speaker 1: but the, but we never ate fast food. I'm my,
- 35:20Speaker 1: you know, back in the day, our mother always cooked
- 35:23Speaker 1: dinner or lunch and we, we never ate fast food
- 35:26Speaker 1: or any of that kind of stuff ever.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Well, I know. You've got to consider where you came from.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Medina, Ohio.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Yes. Well, that was back in the day, and it
- 35:37Speaker 1: was like that was just what we had, but that's
- 35:39Speaker 1: how things were done back then.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Of course, I don't recall that. I mean, what you're saying.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Oh, because you're far too young.
- 35:47Speaker 3: I'm far too young to understand anything that you're saying.
- 35:51Speaker 3: We had iced tea. My mother made the best iced tea.
- 35:54Speaker 3: non-sweetened iced tea that you could ever we that's what
- 35:57Speaker 3: we grew up on you're absolutely right there was no
- 36:00Speaker 3: coca-cola i mean it was available of course but iced
- 36:05Speaker 3: tea it was very cheap.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Right so so i i enjoy it but you're you're
- 36:12Speaker 1: right about that now i love aren't we blessed do
- 36:16Speaker 1: you love pizza.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Love it. I like it. I used to be able
- 36:21Speaker 3: to sit down and eat three, four pieces.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Guess what?
- 36:24Speaker 3: If I get through a piece and a half now,
- 36:27Speaker 3: I'm lucky. And I have it maybe once every couple weeks.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Do you go get it somewhere? I mean, we've got
- 36:34Speaker 1: great pizza in this area.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, without a doubt. There is, without a doubt.
- 36:39Speaker 3: We've gone out... But there's also a grocery store in
- 36:46Speaker 3: the area here that sells balls of dough for a buck,
- 36:52Speaker 3: 99 cents. And we made our own pizza many, many,
- 36:57Speaker 3: many times.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Can I tell you, I'm going to give you something else.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Are you ready for this?
- 37:01Speaker 2: I'm ready.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Now, this is my newly discovered secret because I'm a fan.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I'm a fan of chicken francais. I admit it to everybody, okay?
- 37:12Speaker 1: I like chicken. Do you know what chicken francais is?
- 37:13Speaker 3: I make one of the best anyway.
- 37:15Speaker 1: All right, so I like chicken francais. So on Saturday,
- 37:23Speaker 1: that's the special at Anton's Kitchen in Boardman. I think
- 37:27Speaker 1: it's like $ 13 or $ 14, I think, something like that.
- 37:29Speaker 1: So $ 13, $ 14, $ 15, somewhere in that, like about $ 14.
- 37:39Speaker 1: And they make a great chicken francais with a nice,
- 37:43Speaker 1: you know how the juice is thicker. And it is
- 37:48Speaker 1: just a total joy on Saturday. I always go down
- 37:52Speaker 1: and get it to go. And it's really good. I mean,
- 37:57Speaker 1: it's chicken francais, Antone's Kitchen. I go to the one
- 38:00Speaker 1: in Boardman, and it's really good. I enjoy it. How
- 38:03Speaker 1: about that?
- 38:04Speaker 3: Oh, that's fantastic. I can make it for you for
- 38:08Speaker 3: about four and a half bucks.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Well, I don't care. I mean, it's, yeah, I like good,
- 38:13Speaker 1: a good chicken, Francais, cannot have a watery.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Mix with it. I'll take this, I'll be gravy.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Yes. I mean, it's just, I thoroughly enjoy the chicken.
- 38:29Speaker 1: So that's a, I've had that a couple Saturdays in
- 38:31Speaker 1: a row, and I'm looking forward to the next Saturday.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Tonight we're going to have a chicken sandwich with all-gratin potatoes,
- 38:39Speaker 3: but I'm not making any of it. Do you do
- 38:42Speaker 3: any shopping at Sam's Club?
- 38:45Speaker 1: My wife does, yes.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Well, they're starting to make it a lot easier to
- 38:51Speaker 3: have for dinner at night because I found these chicken sandwiches.
- 38:56Speaker 3: It's over where they sell all the chickens, you know,
- 39:00Speaker 3: the 498 chicken over in that area.
- 39:03Speaker 1: And did you ever buy?
- 39:04Speaker 3: Chicken sandwiches, five to a package. And I just love it.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Do they make it?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Do they make it or is it in a box?
- 39:19Speaker 1: Hang on a second. Hang on a second. It's Fifth
- 39:21Speaker 1: Avenue with tips for me. I'll be right back. Stay tuned.
- 39:25Speaker 1: now news radio 570 wkbn so what is so incidentally
- 39:30Speaker 1: you're talking about sam's club they got they got one
- 39:32Speaker 1: of the best uh chickens that you can buy that's
- 39:36Speaker 1: cooked there right in the dome and that kind of
- 39:38Speaker 1: stuff that they got a good spiced chicken would you agree.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty good.
- 39:44Speaker 3: It's pretty good. Yeah, the one at 498 for the chicken.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so where are these sandwiches? Are they pre-made in
- 39:50Speaker 1: a box?
- 39:50Speaker 3: They're in that same area. There's rows of rocks, I mean,
- 39:54Speaker 3: rows of frozen stuff right before you get to where
- 39:59Speaker 3: they sell those chickens. And this refrigerated area there that
- 40:04Speaker 3: has this other stuff in it is right there. You
- 40:06Speaker 3: can't miss it. They also make a chicken buffalo wrap. Oh,
- 40:15Speaker 3: my goodness.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Fantastic.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yeah, they have some good stuff that you can get
- 40:21Speaker 1: at Sam's Club.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Just look through the rack there. They have these Mexican...
- 40:28Speaker 3: whatever they call them. There's like three big ones to
- 40:31Speaker 3: a package. There's a lot of cheese, and they're made
- 40:33Speaker 3: out of tortillas and this and that and everything. They've
- 40:37Speaker 3: got everything there. It's just so fantastic.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Isn't that something? Sometimes it's great to have the convenience, though.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, without a doubt.
- 40:47Speaker 1: We don't make the..
- 40:52Speaker 3: Every night. We don't make a thing out of making
- 40:55Speaker 3: dinner every night. Trust me. That's been long gone. Long gone.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but occasionally you've got to go get stuff out.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Occasionally, yes. Occasionally.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Yeah, and sometimes it's just the convenience and easier because
- 41:10Speaker 1: you're busy and that kind of stuff.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Right. Exactly.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 41:15Speaker 1: So that's why I say, oh, this is really good.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I mean, that's... I mean, I'm telling you, you've got
- 41:21Speaker 1: to try that. Chicken Francaise is really good. At least
- 41:23Speaker 1: I enjoy it, I mean, from my standpoint on it.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I'm sure it is. You know, that's the name of
- 41:30Speaker 1: that tuna. Other than that..
- 41:33Speaker 3: Well, I..
- 41:36Speaker 2: Ted..
- 41:36Speaker 3: What is it? Ted the Conservative.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Yes, Ted the Conservative.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Ted the Conservative.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Well..
- 41:44Speaker 3: I'm just going to say his name, Ted the Conservative,
- 41:48Speaker 3: but Use what word? The Republican Party, they're conservatives, correct?
- 41:56Speaker 3: Get the conservative, you're all conservative.
- 42:13Speaker 1: I was just reading this email, you know, because I
- 42:15Speaker 1: buy my iced tea, Milo's iced tea, for $ 4. 20 for
- 42:17Speaker 1: the gallon, pre-made, filtered water and everything from my Meijer store.
- 42:22Speaker 1: They say, I suggest making sun tea, four tea bags
- 42:24Speaker 1: and a quart of water. No, I don't want to
- 42:26Speaker 1: do that. I enjoy the tea that I'm buying. A
- 42:30Speaker 1: gallon of it for $ 4, it lasts me for quite
- 42:32Speaker 1: some time, you know what I mean? And it's just,
- 42:35Speaker 1: it's all made. It's right there. It's a convenience of it.
- 42:38Speaker 3: But there's people out there that like to save money.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Well, I think that's inexpensive. You get a gallon. You
- 42:46Speaker 1: don't drink a gallon in a day. It's all made.
- 42:48Speaker 1: It's in a plastic jug. It's tea and water, and
- 42:52Speaker 1: it doesn't have any of the other ingredients you get
- 42:54Speaker 1: out of pre-made tea from other places.
- 42:56Speaker 3: It just doesn't have any of the sugar additives.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Right, or any of the other crap that they put in.
- 43:02Speaker 1: All right, I'm out of time for today. Fifth Avenue,
- 43:05Speaker 1: thank you.
- 43:05Speaker 3: You got me. I want so much to say about
- 43:07Speaker 3: Kenton Conservancy.
