- 0:29Speaker 8: This Friday headed into a long holiday weekend, too. It's
- 0:32Speaker 8: Mix 102.9.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 0:34Speaker 8: Dealing to Kid, Candace Lopez is here. Producer Poo is here.
- 0:37Speaker 8: Good morning, Candace.
- 0:38Speaker 1: How are you?
- 0:38Speaker 5: I'm good.
- 0:39Speaker 8: I'm good.
- 0:39Speaker 5: I'm tired, which doesn't explain anything because yesterday, I just
- 0:44Speaker 5: want you guys to know, I got home at like,
- 0:46Speaker 5: I don't know, maybe 1230. Took a three-hour nap. I
- 0:49Speaker 5: woke up.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Good Lord.
- 0:51Speaker 5: Two minutes before the bus came.
- 0:53Speaker 1: You went to bed.
- 0:54Speaker 6: I did.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Well, then I.
- 0:55Speaker 5: Took another nap at like six o'clock between like six
- 0:59Speaker 5: and seven for some reason. I went to bed at eight.
- 1:02Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:03Speaker 5: But I woke up this morning and I was like,
- 1:05Speaker 5: aren't I supposed to be like refreshed after all this sleep?
- 1:08Speaker 1: No, you got too much sleep. I don't think that's possible.
- 1:11Speaker 5: I literally don't think that's possible.
- 1:13Speaker 1: No, I swear. If I get too much sleep, if
- 1:14Speaker 1: I nap for too long, I feel worse.
- 1:16Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I was surprised that I could actually go
- 1:18Speaker 5: to sleep last night, but I did. Slept all night.
- 1:21Speaker 5: I mean, off and on, per usual. But it crossed
- 1:23Speaker 5: my mind. I was like, I think I'm like newborn.
- 1:26Speaker 5: When you have a newborn status, like tired in my life.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You are.
- 1:30Speaker 5: That or when you're about to get COVID.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Wait, what?
- 1:33Speaker 5: Last time I felt that tired.
- 1:35Speaker 4: No, I'm not.
- 1:36Speaker 5: I don't have any symptoms. I'm totally fine. I'm just exhausted.
- 1:39Speaker 1: It is going around again, though.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Is it?
- 1:41Speaker 1: I know a few people that have it right now.
- 1:43Speaker 9: Really?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yes, because yes, it's when people go back to school.
- 1:46Speaker 1: It's when the kids go.
- 1:47Speaker 8: Back to school and they bring home all this stuff
- 1:49Speaker 8: that we haven't seen all summer because they're not around
- 1:52Speaker 8: a ton of other kids. Right.
- 1:53Speaker 1: They bring home some funky stuff.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Yeah, they do. I mean, there's no symptoms in the house.
- 1:57Speaker 5: There's nothing going on. But I'm just like, is this
- 1:59Speaker 5: just perimenopause? Ladies, help me out. Are we just this tired?
- 2:04Speaker 5: Who told me.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Off the air before we went on, he thinks perimenopause
- 2:07Speaker 1: is fake.
- 2:07Speaker 8: No. No, he didn't.
- 2:09Speaker 1: He knows better than that. No, don't even play that.
- 2:12Speaker 5: No, they're just now deciding to study women's health. So thanks, guys.
- 2:16Speaker 1: No, I did.
- 2:17Speaker 8: I saw Candace's nose. That's what he said. Lisa, every
- 2:21Speaker 8: time she comes in here, I feel like she's just
- 2:23Speaker 8: making that up.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I wish.
- 2:25Speaker 1: She's just making that up. Well, I hope you don't
- 2:27Speaker 1: get sick.
- 2:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I hope not. I don't feel sick. There's nothing
- 2:30Speaker 5: going on.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I just slept a lot. I thought you'd be excited
- 2:31Speaker 1: that you got some sleep.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Well, I was, yeah, but I feel like I should
- 2:34Speaker 5: feel refreshed, and I just don't.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I was so mad. I went to sleep early, and
- 2:38Speaker 1: I forgot to put away my sweet potatoes.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Oh. Oh, no.
- 2:41Speaker 8: So I took them out of the oven, ate one,
- 2:43Speaker 8: you know, because Candace has me addicted to sweet potatoes.
- 2:46Speaker 6: Right.
- 2:47Speaker 1: And then I fell asleep and left them out.
- 2:50Speaker 5: Oh, bummer.
- 2:50Speaker 1: How long can you leave food out and still eat it?
- 2:53Speaker 1: It just depends on what kind of food. Well, it's
- 2:54Speaker 1: a potato.
- 2:55Speaker 5: I don't know. I always Google it.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Potatoes should be all right.
- 2:58Speaker 6: No.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Overnight? Oh, no. I don't. Yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 8: Yeah, you got to throw that in the trash. Because
- 3:04Speaker 8: I know people who eat stuff no matter what.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Who's one of those people? He'll eat a lot of
- 3:09Speaker 1: stuff no matter how long it's been out.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Or even if it's expired.
- 3:12Speaker 6: No.
- 3:13Speaker 8: No, you do.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Huh?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Remember that time when I tried to get some ranch?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Did you just have a stroke?
- 3:21Speaker 7: No, because I was thinking about, remember that time I
- 3:23Speaker 7: tried to get some ranch at your house? And he
- 3:25Speaker 7: had some ranch that was like a year and a
- 3:26Speaker 7: half old.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It's not even that bad.
- 3:29Speaker 8: What?
- 3:29Speaker 1: That's what he told me. A year and a half
- 3:32Speaker 1: is nothing.
- 3:32Speaker 8: Right.
- 3:34Speaker 5: I think you can eat stuff longer than you think
- 3:35Speaker 5: you can, but is it worth the risk?
- 3:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:39Speaker 5: At that time, I ate the meat, and all night
- 3:41Speaker 5: I had the trash bag next to me just in case.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah. I was fine. I got some expired stuff in
- 3:46Speaker 1: my pantry.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Oh, I'm sure I did, too.
- 3:48Speaker 1: As a single dude? Let me tell you something. It
- 3:51Speaker 1: doesn't matter.
- 3:51Speaker 5: I'm sure I do, too, and I'm not a single dude.
- 3:53Speaker 8: You come in there, and you check it out, and
- 3:55Speaker 8: you're like, how do canned goods expire?
- 3:58Speaker 1: At your own risk. How long have you had a
- 4:00Speaker 1: canned good that's expired?
- 4:02Speaker 5: Right?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Well, I had a can of beans that were expired
- 4:04Speaker 1: in 22.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Oh.
- 4:05Speaker 5: They're probably fine.
- 4:08Speaker 1: That was a good year. I think they're fine. All right,
- 4:12Speaker 1: Producer Poo, what's up with you?
- 4:13Speaker 7: Well, speaking of sleep, I didn't get none last night
- 4:16Speaker 7: because I woke up.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I thought there was a snake on me.
- 4:19Speaker 5: What?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Yeah. You know I sleep hard or whatever. And I
- 4:23Speaker 1: felt something on my neck. And then when I moved. Oh,
- 4:25Speaker 1: a snake. It moved. What are you talking about? You
- 4:28Speaker 1: think it's a snake? I got up, tearing up my
- 4:30Speaker 1: bed and everything.
- 4:31Speaker 6: Wow.
- 4:32Speaker 7: It was a bracelet that Paul, my son, had made
- 4:34Speaker 7: at church camp.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I guess it broke. And it just elongated. So I
- 4:38Speaker 1: was like, what? It elongated?
- 4:40Speaker 7: I mean, it stretched out or whatever. So I felt
- 4:44Speaker 7: it move when I moved. And I was like, I
- 4:46Speaker 7: got snakes or something in my bed.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I told him my room is in shambles right now. Oh,
- 4:50Speaker 1: come on.
- 4:50Speaker 8: It is.
- 4:51Speaker 7: Because I always make my bed every day. Every day
- 4:54Speaker 7: when I get up, I make my bed. But I
- 4:55Speaker 7: just left everything there this morning.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You did? Yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 8: See, I thought that with a spider. Like, I thought
- 5:01Speaker 8: there's been a spider. I mean, like, I felt something, like,
- 5:03Speaker 8: kind of, you know, just tickle me somewhere. And I
- 5:06Speaker 8: get up and I freak out and then I tear
- 5:08Speaker 8: my bed apart. I've went and slept on the couch before.
- 5:12Speaker 8: I hate spiders.
- 5:13Speaker 5: Yeah, Enzo thought he had one on his leg the
- 5:15Speaker 5: other day and it turned out to be an earring
- 5:16Speaker 5: that I lost, this long dangly earring. Yeah, so I
- 5:20Speaker 5: was glad he found it, but he thought it was
- 5:21Speaker 5: a spider.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Oh, good.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Yeah, it was just on the floor.
- 5:23Speaker 8: Yeah, oh, I smacked myself so hard because I'm like, well,
- 5:26Speaker 8: if I smack everywhere around me, I'll kill it eventually
- 5:29Speaker 8: if I.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Can't find it.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Sure, you'll make it run.
- 5:30Speaker 1: So I just started hitting myself everywhere.
- 5:32Speaker 8: Oh.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Yeah. How'd that work out? Now I'm bruised.
- 5:38Speaker 6: The new Mix 102.9.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Tesla's top stories on the 10s with Billy the Kid
- 5:43Speaker 3: in the morning.
- 5:44Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9. I got a.
- 5:47Speaker 8: Chance of these Usher and Chris Brown tickets coming up next.
- 5:50Speaker 1: We do it all day. Candace Lopez, what's up?
- 5:52Speaker 5: Well, Tesla officially launched its cyber cab yesterday. This was
- 5:56Speaker 5: a private event in Austin, so they didn't live stream it.
- 5:58Speaker 5: There were no reporters. There was just a short list
- 6:01Speaker 5: of Tesla content creators. But as of right now, Tesla
- 6:05Speaker 5: has 45 cybercabs registered with the Texas DMV. It's not
- 6:09Speaker 5: clear how many of these are going to go into service.
- 6:11Speaker 5: We talked about this a few weeks ago because these
- 6:13Speaker 5: are like the gold cars you see kind of around
- 6:15Speaker 5: the Love Field Airport area.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Oh, I know. I waited all day to stream it
- 6:18Speaker 1: because I want to get one. I'm getting one.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Well, they're saying they're going to be for sale, but
- 6:23Speaker 5: those details haven't been released just yet, as far as
- 6:25Speaker 5: I know.
- 6:26Speaker 1: You can buy one. I guess what's going to happen
- 6:28Speaker 1: is the average person can buy one.
- 6:29Speaker 6: Right.
- 6:30Speaker 1: For like thirty to forty thousand.
- 6:32Speaker 8: And then you can have it drive you to work
- 6:34Speaker 8: and then you have the cargo make you money.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So you're like, OK, come back at five and pick
- 6:39Speaker 1: me up. But in the meantime, go be a cab.
- 6:41Speaker 5: It's crazy. It's an amazing idea, but I'll see it.
- 6:45Speaker 5: I'll believe it when I see it is basically my
- 6:47Speaker 5: thoughts on this.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Because you can do it.
- 6:49Speaker 5: There's been a lot of Tesla promises that haven't come
- 6:51Speaker 5: through yet.
- 6:52Speaker 8: I know, but I swear I want to get one. Yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 8: I would just I mean, it's almost worth it just.
- 6:57Speaker 1: To be driven around.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Yeah, if you can handle like no steering wheel, no pedals,
- 7:01Speaker 5: no mirrors, like that whole vibe, because that freaks me out.
- 7:04Speaker 8: Yeah, there's no steering wheel in the car whatsoever.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Just a bench seat. Two people can sit in it.
- 7:08Speaker 5: There's a screen in the middle. That's about it. They
- 7:11Speaker 5: did launch a website for the service giving the rules,
- 7:13Speaker 5: and one notable rule was that children under 13 are
- 7:16Speaker 5: not allowed to ride in them. Minors 13 to 17
- 7:19Speaker 5: have to have an adult seat. But if you want
- 7:22Speaker 5: to compare these to Waymo's, Tesla has just over 250
- 7:25Speaker 5: autonomous vehicles working in six cities. Waymo has about 4,000
- 7:30Speaker 5: vehicles operating in 14 cities. I don't know.
- 7:33Speaker 8: I never hear anything bad, really, every once in a
- 7:36Speaker 8: while about Tesla, though. I don't have a Tesla.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Yeah, well, wait till we see these going, you know,
- 7:40Speaker 5: without a steering wheel.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Well, but people are driving, full self-driving anyway right now.
- 7:45Speaker 6: I guess.
- 7:46Speaker 5: I don't know how many people are doing that, but.
- 7:47Speaker 1: A lot.
- 7:48Speaker 5: Really?
- 7:49Speaker 8: Have you ever seen anybody going down the tollway? I mean,
- 7:51Speaker 8: everybody's doing something. They don't even have their hands on
- 7:53Speaker 8: the wheel.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Huh.
- 7:54Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 7:55Speaker 8: I did it, and I felt totally safe in my
- 7:57Speaker 8: friend's car. I felt totally safe.
- 7:58Speaker 5: But you were in the driver's seat.
- 7:59Speaker 8: Yeah, I'd feel safer in that than driving with poo.
- 8:03Speaker 6: I mean. Oh, no.
- 8:04Speaker 5: No, I'd rather drive with poo.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Who's going to fall asleep, the robot or poo?
- 8:11Speaker 5: Who's going to take over the wheel? I mean, there's
- 8:12Speaker 5: just no wheel. There's no way to control that thing.
- 8:14Speaker 5: If it gets out of control, at least you could
- 8:16Speaker 5: take over the wheel in a Waymo, right? And at
- 8:18Speaker 5: least do something. There's no pedal.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:20Speaker 5: It freaks me out.
- 8:21Speaker 1: What, are you going to hop in the driver's seat
- 8:22Speaker 1: in the Waymo?
- 8:23Speaker 5: I mean, I'd try.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Well, I'm too big for all that.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh. Guys, let's go over some of the
- 8:29Speaker 5: big high school football matchups tonight. Hard to believe it's
- 8:32Speaker 5: already Friday night again.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 8:34Speaker 5: This is going to be a big game. Eagles versus
- 8:36Speaker 5: the Eagles. We're talking DeSoto at Allen. It should be fun.
- 8:41Speaker 1: That's Alan.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I think so, too.
- 8:43Speaker 8: I think Alan's taking that one because, I don't know,
- 8:45Speaker 8: something about DeSoto's got me angry. I love DeSoto, but
- 8:49Speaker 8: they just wouldn't shake hands with that team, and they
- 8:51Speaker 8: got me upset about that.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah. Guys, Southlake Carroll Dragons at North Crowley Panthers.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Who are you taking to that one? Dragons or Panthers?
- 8:58Speaker 6: Panthers?
- 8:59Speaker 1: I think the Panthers.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:00Speaker 1: North Crowley's good. They beat Aledo. Shut them out last week.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Yeah, brutal.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Yeah, they're real good.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Okay, good to know. And then pick a winner between
- 9:08Speaker 5: Cedar Hill Longhorns at Duncanville Panthers.
- 9:11Speaker 8: I'm going to go Duncanville just because Blue went there. So,
- 9:15Speaker 8: you know, he was the starting mascot.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Backup. Oh, yeah, that's right. Never mind. He was the
- 9:20Speaker 1: backup mascot. So I think I'm going to go with them.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Okay.
- 9:22Speaker 6: All right.
- 9:22Speaker 5: We'll see what happens tonight. Good luck to all the teams.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Real quick, guys, a new study looked at more than
- 9:27Speaker 5: 1,600 drive-thru orders at 10 major fast food chains. They
- 9:32Speaker 5: basically found the places with the best and worst odds
- 9:34Speaker 5: of getting your order right. Do you want to guess
- 9:38Speaker 5: which fast food restaurant was number one on this list?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Was the worst?
- 9:41Speaker 5: Yeah, like the worst.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Who got the order wrong the most? Popeye's. Yeah, I
- 9:44Speaker 1: was just about to say.
- 9:46Speaker 8: Popeye's.
- 9:46Speaker 5: No, it's not Popeye's.
- 9:47Speaker 7: What?
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's not Popeye's.
- 9:48Speaker 9: Okay, who is it?
- 9:49Speaker 5: You want to take another guess? I'll tell you.
- 9:50Speaker 6: It is.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Taco Bell.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 5: Yeah. They're messing up orders 15% of the time. They
- 9:56Speaker 5: say That's pretty high. It is pretty high. The riskiest
- 10:00Speaker 5: move you can ask for in a drive-thru is no ice, though.
- 10:03Speaker 5: It's the single most messed up request.
- 10:05Speaker 9: Why?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Because they're just so used to just putting in ice?
- 10:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:07Speaker 5: I think so. It's just so natural. It's like cheese.
- 10:09Speaker 5: They just put cheese on everything.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 10:11Speaker 8: When you don't like cheese and you ask for no cheese,
- 10:14Speaker 8: there's a good chance you're still getting cheese.
- 10:17Speaker 6: 100%.
- 10:17Speaker 2: 100%.
- 10:18Speaker 5: I'm Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas Top Stories.
- 10:21Speaker 8: We're ready for the long holiday weekend. I'm pretty sure
- 10:24Speaker 8: college football kicks off. Well, no, it kicked off last weekend.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I think so.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But there's some big games this weekend.
- 10:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:29Speaker 8: So it's Mix 102.9, Ability Kid, Candace Lopez, Producer Poo
- 10:33Speaker 8: is here.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Let's do it right now. First caller of the day.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Who's this?
- 10:36Speaker 5: My name is Eric.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Eric, what's up? Eric, how are you?
- 10:38Speaker 4: I am doing pretty well, thank you.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Good.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Guess what? You're caller number one.
- 10:41Speaker 8: Congratulations!
- 10:43Speaker 1: Wonderful news.
- 10:44Speaker 8: Thank you very much.
- 10:45Speaker 1: There you go, Eric. I like your voice. You have
- 10:47Speaker 1: a very proper voice.
- 10:48Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 10:49Speaker 6: I get that a lot.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You do? Oh, do you really? I get the opposite.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Where are you from, Eric? I'm in Richardson.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Oh, cool.
- 10:58Speaker 8: Well, you got a $ 250 gift card to Living Spaces,
- 11:00Speaker 8: so enjoy that. Any big plans for the weekend or what?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Well, I'm waiting for the sun to come up so
- 11:04Speaker 1: I can do a little yard work without taking my
- 11:07Speaker 1: life in my hands. Yeah, no kidding.
- 11:09Speaker 5: But otherwise, that's about it for the weekend.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Good for you, Eric.
- 11:12Speaker 8: Well, don't work too hard on that yard and be
- 11:15Speaker 8: safe this weekend and enjoy it.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And thank you for listening, man.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 11:18Speaker 1: What a life. I like Eric.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:20Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying?
- 11:21Speaker 5: Great day planned.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah, good day planned.
- 11:23Speaker 8: I need him as like a voice actor when I
- 11:26Speaker 8: need to call somebody professional.
- 11:28Speaker 1: That's what I need Eric to call for me.
- 11:30Speaker 5: To be calm, yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 1: They're going to take him seriously.
- 11:32Speaker 5: For sure.
- 11:33Speaker 1: He's like, hello, good morning, how are you? I'm like,
- 11:36Speaker 1: what's up? Barely up. All right, real or fake news,
- 11:40Speaker 1: are you ready, Candace?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Yep.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Who are you ready? I'm ready.
- 11:42Speaker 8: All right, I'm going to give you three headlines. These stories,
- 11:45Speaker 8: you've got to tell me which one is the fake one.
- 11:47Speaker 8: One of them is fake. Headline number one, Wyoming woman
- 11:50Speaker 8: burns down house after she sees a snake slither under
- 11:53Speaker 8: her bed.
- 11:55Speaker 1: What? Wyoming woman burns.
- 11:58Speaker 8: Down house after she sees a snake slither under her bed.
- 12:02Speaker 1: That is headline number one. Headline number two.
- 12:05Speaker 8: Family shocked when 10-year-old daughter ordered a Mary Poppins outfit
- 12:09Speaker 8: for school, but when she opened the package, it was
- 12:13Speaker 8: a Kim Jong-un costume.
- 12:14Speaker 1: What?
- 12:16Speaker 8: Family shocked when a 10-year-old daughter ordered a Mary Poppins
- 12:20Speaker 8: outfit for school, but when she opened the package, it
- 12:22Speaker 8: was a Kim Jong-un costume.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Headline number three.
- 12:27Speaker 8: Daughter drives hundreds of miles to check on her sick dad,
- 12:30Speaker 8: but surprised when a new family was living in his home.
- 12:35Speaker 8: Daughter drives hundreds of miles to check on her sick dad,
- 12:38Speaker 8: but surprised when a new family was living in his home.
- 12:43Speaker 8: Three headlines right there. You've got to tell me which
- 12:45Speaker 8: one you think is the fake story. Candace, it's Friday.
- 12:48Speaker 8: You want to take it? You want to go first
- 12:50Speaker 8: or you want to pass it to LaPoopoo?
- 12:51Speaker 5: This is the wildest real or fake news we've had
- 12:53Speaker 5: in a while.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 12:55Speaker 5: I'm going to jump right in.
- 12:56Speaker 6: I'm going for it.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Lock me in for that second story, the Mary Poppins costume.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Okay, you think that's fake?
- 13:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 1: We can lock that in right now.
- 13:02Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 13:03Speaker 8: You are officially locked in, Candace. Producer Poo, which one
- 13:05Speaker 8: do you think is the fake story?
- 13:07Speaker 1: Lock me in for that first story. I don't think
- 13:09Speaker 1: you're going to burn down your whole house. You might panic.
- 13:11Speaker 5: Might have been you last night.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I was going to say. Yeah, I got crazy, but
- 13:15Speaker 1: I ain't burning up my apartment.
- 13:16Speaker 8: Lock me in for that story. I feel like I've
- 13:18Speaker 8: broken something trying to kill a spider.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah? Like I broke a lamp one time trying to
- 13:21Speaker 1: kill a spider. Because I was like, uh-uh. No, so
- 13:25Speaker 1: I threw a shoe at it.
- 13:26Speaker 6: Right.
- 13:27Speaker 8: Which was a stupid plan. What an awful idea. Because
- 13:29Speaker 8: then I just broke my lamp and the spider was gone.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Yeah, then they just take off.
- 13:33Speaker 8: Is there a worse feeling, though, when you go to
- 13:35Speaker 8: kill a spider and then you turn and it's gone
- 13:36Speaker 8: and you don't.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Know where it went?
- 13:39Speaker 1: Worse. Okay. Let's lock that in. You are locked in.
- 13:42Speaker 1: The winner today is.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Producer Poo! A Wyoming woman. I can't say that, by
- 13:56Speaker 1: the way.
- 13:56Speaker 9: Wyoming?
- 13:57Speaker 1: A Wyoming woman.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Wyoming woman.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Say that three times fast. Wyoming woman. Wyoming. No. Yeah, exactly.
- 14:03Speaker 8: Either way, she did not burn down her house because
- 14:05Speaker 8: of a snake. Although, that's something I would do. I
- 14:08Speaker 8: totally would do that.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I absolutely. I hate snakes. Same.
- 14:12Speaker 8: I still think, randomly, once in a while, I saw
- 14:16Speaker 8: that story about a snake coming up the toilet while
- 14:19Speaker 8: somebody was going to the restroom. Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Every once in a while, if I'm on this, you know,
- 14:22Speaker 1: I got to check.
- 14:24Speaker 5: You do?
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I check and look down there.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Never checked for a snake in the toilet.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Oh, they come up the toilet and bite you in
- 14:30Speaker 1: the butt. I saw it on the news. It had
- 14:33Speaker 1: to be real. All right, the real stories. This is
- 14:37Speaker 1: a wild story.
- 14:39Speaker 8: Daughter drives hundreds of miles to check on her sick dad,
- 14:42Speaker 8: then surprised when she gets there and there's a new
- 14:45Speaker 8: family living in the house.
- 14:46Speaker 6: What?
- 14:47Speaker 1: What? This is the most insane story.
- 14:50Speaker 8: So I guess this woman basically was going to check
- 14:53Speaker 8: on her dad. She drove hundreds of miles there. When
- 14:56Speaker 8: she gets there, she gets into the house. Her father
- 14:59Speaker 8: has passed away.
- 15:00Speaker 6: Oh.
- 15:01Speaker 4: What?
- 15:01Speaker 8: The nurse who was taking care of him had moved
- 15:04Speaker 8: in her boyfriend to this guy's house.
- 15:07Speaker 6: No. Oh.
- 15:09Speaker 1: No.
- 15:09Speaker 8: And it's a major story because somehow, some way, this
- 15:12Speaker 8: caretaker had found out a way to basically get her
- 15:16Speaker 8: house on the deed.
- 15:17Speaker 5: What?
- 15:18Speaker 1: So, yes. So when the daughter shows up, she's like,
- 15:21Speaker 1: wait a minute. What are you doing? To the point
- 15:24Speaker 1: where there was pictures of them already in the house.
- 15:27Speaker 6: No.
- 15:28Speaker 1: And the dad was nowhere to be found.
- 15:30Speaker 5: And she didn't even know. She didn't even know.
- 15:33Speaker 8: It's a whole story. I'm going to actually give me
- 15:35Speaker 8: a minute. I'll post about it on my Instagram at
- 15:37Speaker 8: Billy on the radio. So you can really get into
- 15:39Speaker 8: it if you want. But basically, she gets arrested. The
- 15:42Speaker 8: daughter gets arrested because she's so mad. She's like, you
- 15:46Speaker 8: got to do something about these squatters in my dad's house.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Right, exactly. And the police arrested her.
- 15:50Speaker 8: No. Because she was like, you got to leave. You're
- 15:54Speaker 8: not anywhere on this deed. You don't own this house.
- 15:56Speaker 1: They own it.
- 15:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It was, I mean, it's a.
- 15:59Speaker 8: Wild story I've seen in a while. So, yeah, that's
- 16:02Speaker 8: just also terrifying.
- 16:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Can you imagine? Okay, here's a weird story, though.
- 16:07Speaker 8: A family shocked when their 10-year-old daughter ordered a Mary
- 16:10Speaker 8: Poppins outfit for school, and the package shows up, and
- 16:14Speaker 8: it was a Kim Jong-un costume.
- 16:16Speaker 1: The girl's mom complained to the retailer, saying her daughter
- 16:18Speaker 1: was absolutely gutted and horrified.
- 16:20Speaker 8: Like, what is this? I mean, obviously she's doing it
- 16:23Speaker 8: for like a book parade at school or something. Some
- 16:25Speaker 8: kind of parade they were going to do that was themed.
- 16:28Speaker 8: And the costume company, Costume Box, later explained the two
- 16:30Speaker 8: shipping labels had accidentally been switched. And they actually sent
- 16:34Speaker 8: out a new costume and everything was good. But, I mean,
- 16:37Speaker 8: what the heck is going on?
- 16:39Speaker 3: Jeez.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Who's buying a Kim Jong-un costume?
- 16:41Speaker 5: Right?
- 16:42Speaker 1: That's a more, like, what?
- 16:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Oh. If you don't know who Kim Jong-un is, he's
- 16:47Speaker 1: the dictator of North Korea. Right. Just in case Pooh
- 16:51Speaker 1: was wondering. How disappointing. Pooh was looking like, who's Kim Jong-un?
- 16:54Speaker 6: No.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Storybook parade's gone bad.
- 16:57Speaker 8: Right?
- 16:58Speaker 1: See, kids nowadays do the most.
- 17:00Speaker 9: They do.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I never remember having to buy one thing for school.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Really?
- 17:04Speaker 6: No.
- 17:05Speaker 8: I never remember buying a costume or today we're doing
- 17:07Speaker 8: 100 days.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Right, dress up like a Dalmatian or an old person.
- 17:12Speaker 8: Dress up like a historical figure.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I don't remember any. Do you?
- 17:16Speaker 5: No, I actually don't.
- 17:17Speaker 1: No, we didn't have that.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Maybe once a year, but it was like a big program.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't even remember anything. I don't remember any.
- 17:22Speaker 8: We did not do anything special whatsoever.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Aw.
- 17:26Speaker 5: That's so sad. We need to go back to elementary school.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Do we?
- 17:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 1: But we didn't know any different. I kind of liked it.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I mean, we did.
- 17:34Speaker 8: I remember doing something in school that was really weird
- 17:36Speaker 8: if you think about it now. Do you remember back
- 17:38Speaker 8: in the day doing the nuclear bomb drills?
- 17:41Speaker 5: No.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Nuclear bomb? You don't remember that? No, we had tornado drills.
- 17:46Speaker 1: That was it.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I know my parents did that, but we didn't.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Okay, first of all, I'm younger than you.
- 17:52Speaker 5: That's weird.
- 17:54Speaker 1: So I know I'm not crazy.
- 17:55Speaker 8: We would get in the hallway and we would run
- 17:58Speaker 8: just in case there was some kind of bomb.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It was a bomb drill.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Yeah, we had bomb threats.
- 18:03Speaker 8: It was during the Cold War when we thought we
- 18:06Speaker 8: might get bombed by Russia.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:08Speaker 5: No, we didn't do that.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Candace.
- 18:10Speaker 5: We didn't do that.
- 18:11Speaker 1: You're lying.
- 18:12Speaker 6: No.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I know you didn't. No, we didn't.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Fire drills.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I promise we didn't. We only had fire drills. Yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: fire drills and tornado drills down here. You didn't do
- 18:20Speaker 1: a drill.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Duck and cover. That was it.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. What's that going to protect? Duck and cover. Yeah,
- 18:25Speaker 1: that's all we had. Wow.
- 18:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 1: That's surprising, too, because Pooh was actually going to school
- 18:30Speaker 1: during World War II. Oh, yeah. Good morning. It's Billy
- 18:34Speaker 1: the Kid. Candace Lopez is here. Producer Pooh is here.
- 18:38Speaker 8: Oh, I saw this and I'm like, there's something on
- 18:40Speaker 8: this list because you know I love a good list.
- 18:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And Candice Lopez that you totally think you're the best at.
- 18:46Speaker 8: I do.
- 18:46Speaker 1: But you might not be the best at. Okay.
- 18:49Speaker 8: This thing, this whole thread, it said skills. Almost everyone
- 18:52Speaker 8: thinks they're good at until you meet someone who's actually
- 18:55Speaker 8: good at it.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Okay. You want to go over some of the stuff
- 18:58Speaker 1: on this list? Okay. Doing makeup is on the list.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 19:03Speaker 1: That was on the list is so many girls think
- 19:04Speaker 1: they're good at doing makeup.
- 19:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Oh, I'm not.
- 19:07Speaker 8: So you meet someone who's like a professional makeup artist
- 19:09Speaker 8: and you're like, yeah, maybe I'm not so good.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Photography.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Okay.
- 19:14Speaker 8: Which I suck at photography, but there's nobody worse on
- 19:18Speaker 8: the planet than taking your picture.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Oh, here we go. Than producer Pooh.
- 19:21Speaker 5: A hundred percent.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 19:24Speaker 5: A hundred percent. I mean, take the Rangers game, for example,
- 19:27Speaker 5: Ralph Barbosa was there. I took you guys picture with him.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Perfectly framed. The shots are colorful and beautiful. And like the, the, the,
- 19:35Speaker 5: you're where you need to be, you know, basically the
- 19:37Speaker 5: rule of thirds or whatever for photography.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Pooh. It's like, he's never touched an iPhone before.
- 19:42Speaker 5: My picture with Ralph, I don't have knees in the picture.
- 19:45Speaker 8: No.
- 19:46Speaker 3: No knees.
- 19:47Speaker 1: He gets you at the weirdest angle. He's the guy who.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Gets under you to take an angle.
- 19:53Speaker 5: He did squat down. And in my head, if you
- 19:55Speaker 5: could see the bubble over my head, it would be like, boom, no,
- 19:57Speaker 5: stand down.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Who squats down?
- 20:00Speaker 8: Any person who's been with a woman for more than
- 20:02Speaker 8: five minutes knows you never go under their chins.
- 20:04Speaker 6: No.
- 20:05Speaker 5: He squatted down to take the picture.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Squatted down.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Squatted down. Cut my knees off. You always go high. Yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Get the angle.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Go high.
- 20:12Speaker 8: Let's make them look slim and take multiple pictures. Pooh
- 20:15Speaker 8: will take one and be like, cool, gotcha.
- 20:17Speaker 1: No, he didn't.
- 20:19Speaker 5: I took like 10 of you guys. Move the camera around.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Boom, boom, boom, boom, snap, snap, snap. Yeah, yeah. Pooh
- 20:24Speaker 1: will take one like, all right, you know what? Gotcha.
- 20:26Speaker 1: All right, you're good. Thumbs in the picture. Gotcha. That
- 20:30Speaker 1: was brutal.
- 20:31Speaker 6: 15 chins.
- 20:34Speaker 1: You're good. Keep it moving. Here you go. It's the worst.
- 20:37Speaker 1: His lens is all greasy.
- 20:39Speaker 8: He's got the greasiest phone lens.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Like, how was the picture? It looks good. OK, cool.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Yeah. And then, you know, it's like sometimes it's big moments, too.
- 20:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:52Speaker 8: You know, and if I'm with him and I'm like,
- 20:54Speaker 8: you know, oh, this is a big picture. I want
- 20:55Speaker 8: to get this pic. And I'll look around and be like, no,
- 20:58Speaker 8: I got you.
- 20:58Speaker 1: No, I'll look.
- 21:00Speaker 8: One time I saw someone who was actually blind. And
- 21:03Speaker 8: I said, you know what? Here, can you take this?
- 21:04Speaker 6: No.
- 21:05Speaker 1: And I gave it to that person instead of Poo.
- 21:07Speaker 5: I wouldn't let you take it, but your hand's broken.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I should have just gone for it.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I'll take it with my toes and get a better angle.
- 21:12Speaker 6: What?
- 21:14Speaker 8: Things, skills that almost everyone thinks they're good at until
- 21:17Speaker 8: they meet someone who's great at it.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Acting's on the list.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Which, yeah, that makes sense. Your husband's an actor. For sure.
- 21:25Speaker 5: When you see him actually get into character and, like,
- 21:27Speaker 5: do his thing, it's like, whoa.
- 21:29Speaker 8: Yeah, like, I think I'm good. Like, I always thought,
- 21:31Speaker 8: I think I'd be a good actor. And then all
- 21:32Speaker 8: of a sudden, I, like, got to remember lines. I'm like,
- 21:34Speaker 8: I can't remember any of this.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Yeah. And I'm not good at.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Acting on top of it. Doing them at the same time, too.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Right, exactly. Okay, here's one. Driving. That's the one that.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Candace.
- 21:44Speaker 5: That's a good one.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Candace Lopez thinks she is.
- 21:46Speaker 5: I am a great driver.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Here we go. 100%.
- 21:50Speaker 5: What makes me a bad driver? I'm great.
- 21:53Speaker 1: See, it's anyone who thinks they're that good.
- 21:55Speaker 5: No, but I am.
- 21:56Speaker 8: See?
- 21:57Speaker 1: Well, prove me wrong. Prove you wrong.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:00Speaker 6: Okay.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I've been in the car with you.
- 22:04Speaker 3: That's great.
- 22:05Speaker 8: You are a good driver, but you're just speedy, and
- 22:07Speaker 8: that's debatable on whether that makes for a good driver
- 22:10Speaker 8: or not.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 22:11Speaker 8: You're very, you got a, Ledfoot Lopez, that name didn't
- 22:14Speaker 8: come from anywhere.
- 22:15Speaker 5: No, you're right, but I'm safe.
- 22:19Speaker 1: In and out.
- 22:20Speaker 5: I drive different when I'm by myself and when I
- 22:23Speaker 5: have passengers.
- 22:23Speaker 1: You're definitely better than Pooh.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 8: I'm not that bad. You're definitely a better driver than Pooh.
- 22:28Speaker 8: And I will say, I think you're probably a better
- 22:30Speaker 8: driver than me.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Okay.
- 22:31Speaker 1: But you think you're F1 status. I'm close. Lewis Hamilton. Okay.
- 22:36Speaker 5: That's right.
- 22:37Speaker 8: Here's something else that everyone thinks they're good at until
- 22:39Speaker 8: you actually do it or meet somebody that's good at
- 22:42Speaker 8: it is storytelling.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Who's the best storyteller on this show? You.
- 22:48Speaker 6: Okay.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Who's the worst? Pooh. I knew it. Who will tell you?
- 22:54Speaker 5: It's like playing charades sometimes. First word starts with a C.
- 23:00Speaker 1: It's because I'm excited. You know, I got all these
- 23:02Speaker 1: things going through my head and I want to get
- 23:04Speaker 1: it right. But yeah, I don't land the plane like
- 23:07Speaker 1: Billy says.
- 23:08Speaker 6: It's fine.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Sometimes I have to tell Pooh. I'm like, all right,
- 23:10Speaker 1: land the plane. We got to land the plane.
- 23:12Speaker 8: And then the number one thing, the number one thing
- 23:15Speaker 8: they say, the people, the skill that everyone thinks they're
- 23:18Speaker 8: good at until you meet somebody who's actually good at it.
- 23:20Speaker 1: And I think this is so true.
- 23:21Speaker 5: Fighting yeah that makes sense fighting everybody.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yeah oh guys guys are like yeah yeah bro are
- 23:29Speaker 1: you serious i would whoop him yeah.
- 23:31Speaker 8: And you're like no you wouldn't right you haven't jogged
- 23:36Speaker 8: much less be able to fight especially like be training
- 23:39Speaker 8: jiu-jitsu for a while i that you want to talk
- 23:41Speaker 8: about getting humbled yeah you'll get humbled real quick that's
- 23:44Speaker 8: why i try to say who thinks he can fight
- 23:45Speaker 8: everybody oh i'd beat him up Yeah, some people I
- 23:48Speaker 8: think I can.
- 23:48Speaker 1: And I'm like, no, Pooh. There's 15-year-old kids where I
- 23:51Speaker 1: train that would beat you up. 15-year-old? 15-year-old kids.
- 23:55Speaker 5: I mean, if you got the technique, you got it.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Who would choke you out, Pooh. Really? I know there's
- 24:00Speaker 1: a 12-year-old girl. Oh, okay. Settle down. Settle down. There's
- 24:06Speaker 1: a 12-year-old. Spoo, I swear.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:08Speaker 1: She would beat you up. I believe it.
- 24:11Speaker 8: What? Have faith.
- 24:12Speaker 5: Well, no, I just mean 12-year-old girls can fight if
- 24:15Speaker 5: they're trained.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Right, she's trained. She would beat you up. I would
- 24:18Speaker 1: put my money on her.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 24:20Speaker 1: In photography and fighting.
- 24:25Speaker 3: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 24:27Speaker 3: Kid in the Morning.
- 24:28Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 24:31Speaker 8: Usher and Chris Brown tickets coming up next. Your chance
- 24:33Speaker 8: at those and a chance to get on that VIP riser, too.
- 24:36Speaker 8: The VIP riser.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Gets wild, Candice.
- 24:38Speaker 5: I guess so.
- 24:38Speaker 1: It's a little.
- 24:39Speaker 8: VIP section where Chris Brown, he might get on you.
- 24:42Speaker 8: The usher might jump up on you, and they just
- 24:44Speaker 8: do a little dance for you.
- 24:46Speaker 1: It's crazy. It gets.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Wow, I can't wait to hear who wins this.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I've been up there a few times.
- 24:51Speaker 5: Have you?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 24:52Speaker 6: How was it?
- 24:53Speaker 1: Oh, I gave usher a lap dance.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Oh, boy.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I turned the tables. There you go. You're good for me.
- 24:59Speaker 1: All right, Candace, what is going on?
- 25:01Speaker 5: Well, a FedEx in Denton alerted the city after someone
- 25:04Speaker 5: tried to mail almost 200 turtles to China. Denton Animal
- 25:09Speaker 5: Services recovered the turtles and tortoises. That investigation is now ongoing,
- 25:14Speaker 5: but those turtles have been placed at the Dallas Zoo
- 25:16Speaker 5: while this gets sorted.
- 25:18Speaker 1: How many turtles?
- 25:19Speaker 6: Almost 200.
- 25:19Speaker 1: They're trying to mail them to China?
- 25:21Speaker 5: They tried to mail them via FedEx to China, and
- 25:24Speaker 5: FedEx figured this out, and they're like, hey, guys, this
- 25:27Speaker 5: isn't okay.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Why?
- 25:28Speaker 6: Right.
- 25:29Speaker 5: That's what they're trying to figure out.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I got so many questions.
- 25:31Speaker 5: So many questions.
- 25:33Speaker 8: Why are we mailing turtles? I know you can buy
- 25:35Speaker 8: wildlife and pets online.
- 25:37Speaker 4: You can?
- 25:38Speaker 1: And then they ship them to you.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Surely they don't come FedEx.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they do.
- 25:41Speaker 4: What?
- 25:41Speaker 1: Snakes. Whatever you want. You want a snake? FedEx one
- 25:44Speaker 1: right now. No way. Yes, you can.
- 25:46Speaker 5: Are you serious?
- 25:47Speaker 1: I'm not kidding.
- 25:47Speaker 5: What kind of packaging do you have to have?
- 25:49Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 25:50Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 25:51Speaker 8: They perforated with holes in it or something. I don't
- 25:54Speaker 8: know what they do, but they do it. People ship
- 25:56Speaker 8: wild animals and live animals all the time.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Interesting. Well, I'll keep you posted on that. Guys, I
- 26:02Speaker 5: guess it's time to talk about Halloween candy because this
- 26:05Speaker 5: candy recall is going viral. The candy was sold here
- 26:09Speaker 5: in Texas and 12 other states at TJ Maxx, Marshalls,
- 26:12Speaker 5: and HomeGoods. These chocolatey eyeballs apparently have milk in them,
- 26:17Speaker 5: but they don't state that they have milk in them,
- 26:18Speaker 5: so they're being recalled.
- 26:19Speaker 1: What are you doing buying candy at TJ Maxx?
- 26:21Speaker 5: Well, you know they have that section when you go
- 26:23Speaker 5: check out.
- 26:23Speaker 9: Oh, I know.
- 26:23Speaker 1: When you're about to get out of there.
- 26:25Speaker 5: All the like really cute, unique candy.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Cute?
- 26:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:28Speaker 1: And unique or stale?
- 26:29Speaker 5: Like chocolate candy eyeballs? That sounds so fun.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Stale and dangerous. I get the gummy bears. I don't
- 26:35Speaker 1: get anything from that section. Yeah, back in the day
- 26:37Speaker 1: I would. I'm buying my candy from Ross. What are
- 26:40Speaker 1: you talking about?
- 26:41Speaker 5: Home goods, I feel like.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Home goods is different.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Okay.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I'll buy some stuff from home goods or at home. Yeah,
- 26:47Speaker 1: at home has a candy section, too.
- 26:48Speaker 9: Do they?
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah. I'll buy candy from at home.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Okay.
- 26:51Speaker 5: No, definitely.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Come on, but get your life together if you're buying
- 26:54Speaker 1: your candy from TJ Maxx. Our Burlington coat factory.
- 26:58Speaker 5: Watch out for the chocolatey eyeballs, guys. Guys, apparently CDs
- 27:04Speaker 5: are making a big comeback this year. Experts say CDs
- 27:07Speaker 5: are back because of how inexpensive they are and how
- 27:10Speaker 5: affordable these all-in-one players are. Listen to the CD sales
- 27:15Speaker 5: have jumped 58% this year to $ 171 million in revenue.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Well, you know what, kids? You haven't experienced what we've experienced.
- 27:23Speaker 8: No.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Your favorite part of the song and the CD skips.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Or scratching a CD. So once you go through that trauma,
- 27:30Speaker 1: you're going to be like, thank God I don't got
- 27:32Speaker 1: to deal with CDs.
- 27:34Speaker 8: Or trying to go through a book of CDs that's
- 27:36Speaker 8: 100 CDs thick and you're driving.
- 27:39Speaker 6: Right.
- 27:39Speaker 1: You think texting and driving is dangerous? No.
- 27:41Speaker 8: We used to have that in a whole book of CDs,
- 27:43Speaker 8: and we'd be skimming through it while we're driving.
- 27:45Speaker 5: Yeah, do you remember when you could finally get, like,
- 27:47Speaker 5: multiple CDs, like an eight-disc player or whatever?
- 27:49Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, a 12-disc changer.
- 27:50Speaker 5: But trying to remember which CD was in which one
- 27:53Speaker 5: was the hard part.
- 27:54Speaker 8: I didn't remember, but, oh, yeah, I remember I would
- 27:56Speaker 8: have my Sony Walkman.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Remember the CD?
- 27:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:59Speaker 1: CD Walkman or whatever? Yeah.
- 28:00Speaker 8: And I would have it, and I would have to
- 28:02Speaker 8: hold it while I was riding my bike just the
- 28:04Speaker 8: right angle because it would be skipping.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Right. All the time.
- 28:08Speaker 8: And then, you know, then I'd have my headphones on.
- 28:10Speaker 8: I'm riding my bike. I'm trying to do all this stuff.
- 28:12Speaker 1: It was a mess.
- 28:13Speaker 8: And then I'd drop it. And then I'd break something.
- 28:15Speaker 8: But now you think about it. We don't really own music. Right.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Like, we don't own music. Yeah. No, you're right. Now
- 28:22Speaker 1: we just kind of, like, lease it.
- 28:23Speaker 5: You know what I am going to buy, though, is the,
- 28:25Speaker 5: I think they're releasing a Michael Jackson Thriller vinyl, like,
- 28:29Speaker 5: special edition on Halloween this year. So I'm definitely buying that.
- 28:32Speaker 6: I have.
- 28:32Speaker 8: I have my original Thriller vinyl.
- 28:34Speaker 9: Nice.
- 28:34Speaker 1: From when I was a kid.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Nice.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Wow.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I know that's worth something. I don't know, but.
- 28:38Speaker 5: You want to sell it?
- 28:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll sell it to you.
- 28:40Speaker 5: Okay, I'll take it.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I got you.
- 28:41Speaker 5: All right, I'm Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas Top Stories.
- 28:45Speaker 8: 30 Little Secrets coming up at 7.30. We'll do that next.
- 28:47Speaker 8: The Banger's on the way. It's Mix 102.9. Ability Kid,
- 28:50Speaker 8: Candace Lopez. Producer Pooh, speaking of the banger, I'm excited.
- 28:53Speaker 8: It's a long holiday weekend. We're doing something. We're doing
- 28:56Speaker 8: Billy the Kid in the morning, 730 banger replay weekend.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Sweet.
- 29:00Speaker 8: So all weekend long, you know how we do the
- 29:01Speaker 8: 730 banger. It might be a throwback. It might be
- 29:03Speaker 8: one of the biggest, you know, songs that you requested. Really,
- 29:06Speaker 8: it's all about your request. So all the requests that
- 29:08Speaker 8: we've gotten for bangers, we're going to sprinkle them in
- 29:10Speaker 8: all weekend.
- 29:11Speaker 5: That's fun.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Isn't that fun?
- 29:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:13Speaker 8: So we kick that off today at 10 o'clock, and
- 29:15Speaker 8: then we do it all the way through Monday.
- 29:17Speaker 1: So just leave it on mix. Listen on the iHeartRadio app.
- 29:19Speaker 8: Make sure you have us on your presets, but I mean,
- 29:22Speaker 8: I'm excited to listen because we get so many good
- 29:25Speaker 8: requests for the 730 banger.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Now's our chance to just party with them all Labor
- 29:29Speaker 1: Day weekend.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:30Speaker 8: I also got to say hi to Robbie, who said
- 29:32Speaker 8: we were just talking about CDs. And he said, what
- 29:35Speaker 8: about this? Remember back in the day when this was
- 29:38Speaker 8: supposed to be the next big thing and then.
- 29:39Speaker 1: It never took off. Well, I don't think it did.
- 29:42Speaker 3: What?
- 29:43Speaker 1: He said, remember Minidisc?
- 29:45Speaker 5: Oh, yes.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Oh, yes. I do.
- 29:47Speaker 5: I was so excited about those.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 29:50Speaker 8: He said Minidisc were supposed to be the next big
- 29:52Speaker 8: thing and then never really happened.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I don't think I ever bought a Minidisc.
- 29:56Speaker 5: They were so cute.
- 29:58Speaker 6: And then.
- 30:00Speaker 8: Then it reminded me of some stuff that other big
- 30:03Speaker 8: things that were supposed to take off but never did,
- 30:05Speaker 8: just totally flopped.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I got one. What about this? Remember Zima? Yeah, because
- 30:11Speaker 1: you put.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Your shock tarts in it and it makes it all fizzy.
- 30:14Speaker 8: If you don't know what Zima was, well, first of all,
- 30:17Speaker 8: you're young and you're lucky. Second of all, it was
- 30:20Speaker 8: supposed to be the next big drink. That was going
- 30:23Speaker 8: to be the drink. Everybody for a good year drank Zima.
- 30:26Speaker 8: People put Jolly Ranchers in it and What else? What
- 30:29Speaker 8: else was supposed to be big but totally flopped? Somebody
- 30:31Speaker 8: else sent me this. Crystal Pepsi.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Oh, boy.
- 30:35Speaker 8: If we're talking about throwbacks, Crystal Pepsi was that clear
- 30:38Speaker 8: Pepsi that.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Oh, it tasted.
- 30:40Speaker 5: It tasted the same.
- 30:40Speaker 1: It tasted the exact same.
- 30:42Speaker 6: Right.
- 30:43Speaker 5: They just didn't put the color and caramel coloring in
- 30:45Speaker 5: it or whatever.
- 30:45Speaker 1: But it just felt weird.
- 30:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:47Speaker 1: It was Pepsi Blue, too, for a while.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I remember that. Pepsi Blue was a big thing.
- 30:52Speaker 5: It was blue?
- 30:53Speaker 1: Yes.
- 30:53Speaker 5: I don't remember that. It must have been quick.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it was. Something else.
- 30:57Speaker 8: Someone else said the next big thing that totally flopped
- 31:00Speaker 8: was hoverboards.
- 31:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Hoverboards were everywhere.
- 31:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 8: And that was supposed to be the way that everybody
- 31:09Speaker 8: was going to get around. They were like, oh, yeah, hoverboards.
- 31:11Speaker 8: Everybody's getting hoverboards. Remember how big they were for a
- 31:13Speaker 8: little while?
- 31:14Speaker 1: Kind of.
- 31:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I never had one.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Oh, you didn't? Yeah, no. Oh, I had one.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Well, they weren't really hoverboards when you have wheels, right?
- 31:21Speaker 1: I'm actually really embarrassed to tell you how much I
- 31:23Speaker 1: spent on a hoverboard.
- 31:24Speaker 6: Oh, God.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Come on.
- 31:25Speaker 8: Shout out to my boy Whitey. He got them before
- 31:28Speaker 8: anybody else got them. He's like, if you want a hoverboard, man,
- 31:31Speaker 8: I got you. And I was like, dude, I want
- 31:33Speaker 8: one so bad. These are the future. And now you
- 31:36Speaker 8: can get it for like a hundred bucks. Let's just
- 31:39Speaker 8: say I spent over a thousand.
- 31:41Speaker 5: What a time.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Stupid. Dumb.
- 31:47Speaker 6: Get it off your chest.
- 31:49Speaker 3: It's Dirty Little Secret with Billy the Kid in the
- 31:51Speaker 3: morning on Mix 102.9.
- 31:52Speaker 5: Brought to you by Mint Dentistry.
- 31:55Speaker 1: All right, you ready?
- 31:56Speaker 8: It's time to confess. Don't forget we got Usher and
- 31:58Speaker 8: Chris Brown tickets. We're doing that all day, pretty much
- 32:01Speaker 8: all day on the 10th, so another shot at 810.
- 32:03Speaker 1: All right, Dirty Little Secret.
- 32:04Speaker 8: It's Billy the Kid. Candace Lopez is here. Producer Poo
- 32:07Speaker 8: is here. If you have a confession... get it off
- 32:09Speaker 8: your chest. I thought we were about to get stood up,
- 32:11Speaker 8: but she's on now.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Hey, you there?
- 32:13Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 32:14Speaker 4: I have a dirty little secret for you.
- 32:16Speaker 1: So what is happening? Okay.
- 32:18Speaker 4: So I've been at my job for a really long time.
- 32:20Speaker 4: I'm established there. People trust me. I know everybody.
- 32:22Speaker 9: My boss trusts me. I have a really good reputation.
- 32:26Speaker 9: And about a year ago, this girl started working with
- 32:30Speaker 9: us and nobody liked her. She was one of those
- 32:32Speaker 9: like people who never came out with us, never went
- 32:34Speaker 9: to the things. And it was like, She had a
- 32:36Speaker 9: weird personality, you know, she just, the chemistry was off.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:41Speaker 9: And before people say we were bullying the new girl,
- 32:44Speaker 9: I wasn't like that.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Nobody was like that. Nobody was bullying her.
- 32:47Speaker 9: Okay.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:48Speaker 4: She was just weird.
- 32:49Speaker 8: So she didn't fit into the crew is what it
- 32:52Speaker 8: sounds like.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:54Speaker 4: She didn't talk to anybody.
- 32:55Speaker 9: Okay.
- 32:56Speaker 4: You know, like she wasn't a team player. We're all
- 32:58Speaker 4: working together. She's like, I'll do it by myself. She
- 33:00Speaker 4: only worried about herself. And I don't know.
- 33:03Speaker 9: It was just like weird because she had this attitude
- 33:05Speaker 9: and people just didn't like her. You know, like she
- 33:08Speaker 9: thought she was better than us. She was like, I'm
- 33:10Speaker 9: hotter than everyone. You don't deserve to be in my presence.
- 33:13Speaker 9: You know, that kind of.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 1: So we don't you don't like that. You don't want
- 33:17Speaker 1: that vibe.
- 33:18Speaker 5: No, no.
- 33:20Speaker 9: So not too long ago, something happened at work. Somebody
- 33:23Speaker 9: made a huge mistake. So my boss was furious.
- 33:28Speaker 4: He was venting. He didn't know who did it. I
- 33:32Speaker 4: knew because it was me and I messed up.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Oh, you're the one who messed up.
- 33:40Speaker 9: So when my boss called me and he was like,
- 33:42Speaker 9: he was like asking questions, I panicked. And I remember
- 33:45Speaker 9: I looked him dead in the eye and I was
- 33:47Speaker 9: saying something like, you've known me for years.
- 33:49Speaker 4: You can trust me and I can tell you who
- 33:51Speaker 4: did it. And then I gave her a name.
- 33:54Speaker 1: No.
- 33:58Speaker 8: You threw the newest girl under the bus?
- 34:01Speaker 9: Yes, I gave her a name because I was angry
- 34:03Speaker 9: at her and I was like, I'm just going to.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Throw it at her.
- 34:05Speaker 4: I'm just going to say it was her.
- 34:07Speaker 5: Did he believe you?
- 34:08Speaker 4: He did believe me.
- 34:08Speaker 9: And I completely threw her under the bus and he
- 34:11Speaker 9: believed me without even questioning it because I've been there
- 34:13Speaker 9: for so long.
- 34:14Speaker 4: And the next week she was fired.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Oh, dang.
- 34:18Speaker 6: No. What?
- 34:20Speaker 1: No way.
- 34:21Speaker 6: Okay.
- 34:21Speaker 8: What?
- 34:23Speaker 1: So, you have.
- 34:26Speaker 8: You basically set her up to take the fall to
- 34:29Speaker 8: your mistake. She gets fired. Now, I know you didn't
- 34:32Speaker 8: like her, but at the same time, was she a
- 34:34Speaker 8: bad worker? Because if you don't like someone, that's one thing.
- 34:36Speaker 8: You're like, okay. But if she genuinely just sucks at
- 34:39Speaker 8: her job, then you're like, now she's a liability.
- 34:41Speaker 5: She's bringing the team down.
- 34:42Speaker 1: That's different. Right. But it sounds like you just.
- 34:44Speaker 4: No, she was... Yeah, she was actually pretty good at
- 34:46Speaker 4: the job. She just... Nobody liked working with her and
- 34:49Speaker 4: had a bad attitude. I don't feel bad about it
- 34:52Speaker 4: at all.
- 34:52Speaker 3: At all?
- 34:53Speaker 1: At nothing? At all.
- 34:54Speaker 6: No remorse? Because.
- 34:56Speaker 9: Nobody liked working with her and she was a miserable
- 34:59Speaker 9: person and we were all miserable in her presence and
- 35:02Speaker 9: she clearly hated being there anyway. So I feel like
- 35:05Speaker 9: I kind of did her a favor because like. I
- 35:08Speaker 9: don't know.
- 35:08Speaker 4: This just fell into my lap.
- 35:09Speaker 9: It was the perfect equation. And I took the chance
- 35:12Speaker 9: and I, I think it was a good decision actually.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:16Speaker 8: I mean, that's one way to put it, but when
- 35:19Speaker 8: you did now do other people, do the other girls
- 35:21Speaker 8: or other people in the office know that what you did?
- 35:24Speaker 6: No.
- 35:24Speaker 5: Okay.
- 35:26Speaker 4: But when everyone found out she was fired, they were like,
- 35:28Speaker 4: thank God. And they were like, oh my gosh, it's, it's,
- 35:31Speaker 4: This is such a blessing. I'm so glad that this happened.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Okay. So you feel like you did everyone a favor. Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 4: I mean, I was agreeing with everybody and nobody knew
- 35:39Speaker 4: it was me and.
- 35:41Speaker 9: I'm the reason she's gone. And even my boss doesn't
- 35:43Speaker 9: know to this day. And I'm like, I don't know.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Like, wow.
- 35:48Speaker 4: At least I get to tell you guys.
- 35:50Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Well, I mean, you told us and. Yikes.
- 35:53Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I don't know. I get it, but I would feel
- 35:58Speaker 1: so bad in a weird way.
- 35:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd feel like I'm going to have bad karma forever.
- 36:02Speaker 8: Yeah, but then again, she feels like this is this
- 36:04Speaker 8: girl's karma.
- 36:05Speaker 1: She's a bad person, and she just got what was
- 36:07Speaker 1: coming to her.
- 36:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:09Speaker 4: I feel like, I feel like it is karma.
- 36:11Speaker 9: And I think that like, uh, I don't know, maybe
- 36:14Speaker 9: I shouldn't have blamed her for something I did, but,
- 36:16Speaker 9: but she wasn't happy there. Like I said, and nobody
- 36:19Speaker 9: wanted to.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Work with her.
- 36:20Speaker 9: And in the long run, maybe her getting fired, just
- 36:23Speaker 9: pushed her in the right direction. So she can find
- 36:25Speaker 9: her path and fit in with wherever she needs to
- 36:28Speaker 9: fit in.
- 36:29Speaker 4: But it wasn't with us.
- 36:31Speaker 1: You can't sit with us. You can't sit with us.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Mean girls. All right. You did it. At least the
- 36:38Speaker 1: office is hopefully calm now. And and you made everybody happy.
- 36:42Speaker 1: You did.
- 36:42Speaker 8: I mean, you're kind of a hero, according to the office.
- 36:45Speaker 8: It sounds like you're the unsung hero that nobody knows.
- 36:48Speaker 8: You just save the office of this awful person.
- 36:51Speaker 1: So good for you.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Well, yeah, that's what I keep telling myself.
- 36:54Speaker 1: OK, well, I'm glad you feel better getting it off
- 36:57Speaker 1: your chest.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I actually do feel better.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 37:00Speaker 1: All right. Dirty little. So that's bad vibes. I'm not
- 37:03Speaker 1: going to lie.
- 37:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 1: And even if I don't like a person, I'm just
- 37:06Speaker 1: not going to lie about him.
- 37:07Speaker 5: Right.
- 37:07Speaker 1: It just feels like it's going to come back around.
- 37:09Speaker 1: But either way.
- 37:10Speaker 6: All right.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Candice Court is coming up next. Get ready. 102.9.

- 37:41Speaker 8: justice And her little Buc-ee's blanket over there, like a
- 37:45Speaker 8: little burrito.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Here you go. This girl wrote in. She said, hey, guys,
- 37:48Speaker 1: I'm hoping you can help me out with this.
- 37:50Speaker 8: I'm getting married at the end of the month, and
- 37:52Speaker 8: I'm obviously stressed out, and my sister is now stressing
- 37:55Speaker 8: me out even more.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 37:56Speaker 8: She and her husband asked to meet up to talk
- 37:59Speaker 8: about something important, so I made time to have dinner
- 38:02Speaker 8: with them. Turns out they wanted to ask me if
- 38:05Speaker 8: they could announce their pregnancy at my wedding. I was
- 38:12Speaker 8: honestly shocked and I didn't know what to say. So
- 38:15Speaker 8: I told him I would get.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Back to them. I genuinely don't know what to do.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Saying no feels weird.
- 38:22Speaker 8: And that's what my gut tells me to do, but
- 38:24Speaker 8: I know it's going to bring the family a lot
- 38:26Speaker 8: of joy and that's what the night should be about.
- 38:29Speaker 1: But I just can't decide if this is tacky or beautiful.
- 38:33Speaker 8: As if I'm not stressed out enough, now I have
- 38:36Speaker 8: to make a decision about this?
- 38:38Speaker 1: Please help. What should I do? Okay, this is tough.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:44Speaker 8: So this girl's getting married, and now, so who asked
- 38:50Speaker 8: her to do this?
- 38:50Speaker 5: I guess her, what did she say? Her sister and
- 38:53Speaker 5: her husband?
- 38:53Speaker 1: His sister, yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 8: My sister is now stressing me out. Her and her
- 38:58Speaker 8: husband asked to meet up, and they want to announce
- 39:01Speaker 8: their pregnancy.
- 39:03Speaker 1: At her wedding. Okay.
- 39:06Speaker 8: Listen, I don't even know where to start on this, Candace,
- 39:08Speaker 8: because I feel like the etiquette to me, it seems
- 39:11Speaker 8: like this would be the equivalent to wearing white at
- 39:14Speaker 8: a wedding.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:15Speaker 5: I just don't understand why everybody wants to combine their stuff. Like,
- 39:19Speaker 5: that's your wedding. That's your day. It's your big day.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Why would we want to throw our big announcement on
- 39:24Speaker 5: top of your big day unless you guys are so
- 39:27Speaker 5: close that this makes sense and just a joyous, all-in, everything,
- 39:31Speaker 5: we're celebrating everything situation.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:34Speaker 5: But I just, I don't like it.
- 39:36Speaker 8: It's definitely not traditional, but at the same time, I
- 39:38Speaker 8: look at it like this. Now, she's thinking... I don't know.
- 39:42Speaker 8: Where is the sister coming from? I look at people's
- 39:44Speaker 8: motive behind things when they do things.
- 39:46Speaker 6: Right.
- 39:47Speaker 8: Is she just wanting to make your day better and go, hey,
- 39:50Speaker 8: everybody's in one place.
- 39:51Speaker 1: This will make it special.
- 39:53Speaker 8: Your wedding's the most special thing to me, so why
- 39:55Speaker 8: don't we combine our special things? It's never going to
- 39:57Speaker 8: be your wedding. But this is something we could do
- 40:00Speaker 8: to just make it even a little better.
- 40:01Speaker 6: Right.
- 40:02Speaker 5: Yeah, she thinks this is like a cherry on top.
- 40:04Speaker 8: I don't think she's trying to steal her thunder.
- 40:05Speaker 5: It doesn't sound like that, but I feel like this,
- 40:09Speaker 5: if you guys are close enough to where this is
- 40:10Speaker 5: the goal of the event, I think you'd immediately be like, yes,
- 40:14Speaker 5: you wouldn't have a gut feeling or gut instinct that,
- 40:16Speaker 5: you know, this isn't right for your wedding.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Is it bad that she even asked?
- 40:21Speaker 8: I think that's what it comes down to because now
- 40:22Speaker 8: she's putting her sister in a situation where if I
- 40:24Speaker 8: say no, I'm the bad guy. If I say yes,
- 40:27Speaker 8: I'm not following what I really want. And I truly
- 40:30Speaker 8: believe if you're a bride, you really have to do
- 40:33Speaker 8: what you want to do on your day.
- 40:35Speaker 5: It's your day to be selfish.
- 40:36Speaker 1: It is. You can't put me on the spot like that. Yeah.
- 40:40Speaker 8: It's your day. It's your day to say whatever I
- 40:44Speaker 8: say goes. And forget if you're the groom.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Forget you. You don't matter. I mean, whatever. You're showing up.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Guys don't care like a woman cares, I don't think,
- 40:52Speaker 1: most of the time.
- 40:53Speaker 5: Yeah, and to ask this, pop this up at a dinner.
- 40:56Speaker 5: We have something important to talk to you about. It's like, oh,
- 40:59Speaker 5: what's going on? In the middle of trying to plan
- 41:01Speaker 5: your wedding, now you've got to go to dinner with
- 41:02Speaker 5: her and her husband?
- 41:03Speaker 8: No, it's not as bad as somebody asking you if
- 41:06Speaker 8: they can propose at your wedding.
- 41:07Speaker 6: Right.
- 41:08Speaker 1: No, that's awful. Oh, that's a flat out no.
- 41:09Speaker 5: We're not doing that.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Flat out no. That's got to be a no. Or
- 41:12Speaker 1: if they don't ask you and they just do it.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 41:14Speaker 5: Oh, that's awful.
- 41:15Speaker 1: People do it. It happens.
- 41:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I know. And it ruins friendships. It ruins families.
- 41:19Speaker 5: I've seen it happen before.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Like, I can picture you kind of saying yes on this.
- 41:23Speaker 5: I could see me saying yes to this, too, because
- 41:25Speaker 5: for me, it's like I'm not all about the attention.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Like if I would, I wouldn't have gotten married and
- 41:31Speaker 5: just eloped. You know what I mean? So it wasn't
- 41:33Speaker 5: for me. It wasn't about the big show in my day,
- 41:35Speaker 5: my dress, my everything.
- 41:36Speaker 1: But you're also the person that would say yes and
- 41:38Speaker 1: then be mad about it.
- 41:40Speaker 9: No.
- 41:41Speaker 4: Low key be like, oh, why.
- 41:43Speaker 5: Do I have to do this? Because, you know, people
- 41:45Speaker 5: pleasing tendencies. I also don't have a sister, so I
- 41:47Speaker 5: don't know what that relationship feels like.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 5: But I was pregnant, hiding my pregnancy at one of
- 41:53Speaker 5: my best friend's weddings. And all of our friend group
- 41:55Speaker 5: had no idea the whole time. They just now realized
- 41:58Speaker 5: when last weekend when I went to the birthday party. Brunch,
- 42:01Speaker 5: it was that group of friends. When one of them
- 42:03Speaker 5: got married, I knew I was pregnant and just hid
- 42:07Speaker 5: the whole time because I didn't want to see it.
- 42:09Speaker 8: That was thoughtful because you didn't even want to try
- 42:11Speaker 8: to steal any attention away from her.
- 42:12Speaker 7: Right.
- 42:13Speaker 5: I didn't live here anymore. So this was the first
- 42:15Speaker 5: time I was seeing them in a long time. So
- 42:17Speaker 5: I wasn't just going to be like, by the way,
- 42:18Speaker 5: I'm pregnant.
- 42:19Speaker 1: So you weren't showing yet. They didn't know.
- 42:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:22Speaker 1: And you just went along with it. And then afterwards
- 42:24Speaker 1: you told them.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:25Speaker 5: Like the next day, the next week.
- 42:27Speaker 1: See, that's very thoughtful.
- 42:29Speaker 5: Yeah, well, why would I want to bring this big
- 42:32Speaker 5: announcement on someone's special day?
- 42:34Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. People do this kind of stuff
- 42:35Speaker 1: all the time, and they don't care. Yeah.
- 42:37Speaker 8: So I think that's very thoughtful. You're thinking about your
- 42:39Speaker 8: friends first. All right, in this case, Candace Lopez, do
- 42:41Speaker 8: we have a verdict?
- 42:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I just wouldn't ask. Look, you're guilty of being
- 42:44Speaker 5: a baby on board, Brenda. Trying to put the sign
- 42:48Speaker 5: on your car already.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Not a baby on board, Brenda.
- 42:52Speaker 5: I guess if y'all want to tell people after we
- 42:55Speaker 5: ride off into the sunset as we're officially married and
- 42:58Speaker 5: the bubbles and the rice and all the things, then
- 43:00Speaker 5: I guess it's all right if you want to tell
- 43:02Speaker 5: people we're gone. The ceremony's over.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I can already tell she's going to say yes.
- 43:06Speaker 5: You think so?
- 43:07Speaker 1: And then be mad the whole time.
- 43:09Speaker 5: Do what you want to do.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Say no.
- 43:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 43:12Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, say no. She is guilty of being a.
- 43:14Speaker 5: A baby on board Brenda.
- 43:15Speaker 3: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 43:18Speaker 3: Kid in the Morning.
- 43:19Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Friday, kicking off Labor Day weekend.
- 43:25Speaker 8: We got Usher and Chris Brown tickets, your chance to
- 43:27Speaker 8: win those. Coming up next, we're doing it all day
- 43:29Speaker 8: on the tents. Candace, what is going on?
- 43:30Speaker 5: Well, Tesla officially launched its cyber cab yesterday at a
- 43:34Speaker 5: private event in Austin. So they didn't even live stream this.
- 43:37Speaker 5: There were no reporters, just a short list of Tesla
- 43:39Speaker 5: content creators. But as of right now, Tesla has 45
- 43:44Speaker 5: cyber cabs registered with the Texas DMV. Not clear how
- 43:48Speaker 5: many of those will go into service. They did launch
- 43:51Speaker 5: a website, though, for the robo taxi service, giving the
- 43:53Speaker 5: rules for riding in them. And one that I thought
- 43:56Speaker 5: was interesting is that children under 13 are banned from
- 43:59Speaker 5: riding in these cars. Minors 13 to 17 do have
- 44:04Speaker 5: to have an adult with them. They are allowing service animals.
- 44:08Speaker 5: But to compare this to the Waymos, Tesla has just
- 44:11Speaker 5: over 250 autonomous vehicles working in six cities. Waymo has
- 44:15Speaker 5: about 4000 vehicles in 14 cities. So if you haven't
- 44:20Speaker 5: seen these, these are the gold cars you're seeing. I've
- 44:22Speaker 5: seen them all around like Love Field area.
- 44:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:24Speaker 5: I don't know where you've seen them.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Well, I've seen them around there. We basically were test
- 44:28Speaker 1: like a test city. Yeah. So I want one.
- 44:31Speaker 5: You do?
- 44:32Speaker 8: I want one because, listen to this. How crazy would
- 44:35Speaker 8: this be? You can buy one, and they're like $ 30, 000, $ 40, 000.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 44:37Speaker 8: And then you buy one, and then you could have
- 44:40Speaker 8: it drive you around. But let's say you could have
- 44:42Speaker 8: it drive me to work. Right. It drives me to work,
- 44:44Speaker 8: and then I could tell it, okay, go make money.
- 44:47Speaker 8: And then the car will drive away and go taxi
- 44:50Speaker 8: people around. And then pick me up at whatever time,
- 44:54Speaker 8: and then it'll come back and pick you up. And
- 44:55Speaker 8: it made money while, instead of just sitting there, it
- 44:57Speaker 8: goes and it's a taxi, and you make the money.
- 45:00Speaker 5: It's the craziest idea I've ever heard that might just work,
- 45:03Speaker 5: but it also could just be another one of these
- 45:05Speaker 5: Tesla things that never happens. I don't know. I don't
- 45:08Speaker 5: know if I want to ride in a vehicle that
- 45:10Speaker 5: has no pedals, no mirrors, no steering wheel.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I do.
- 45:13Speaker 8: At this point, I hate driving so much that I
- 45:15Speaker 8: will just sit there. I will get on my laptop.
- 45:17Speaker 8: I'll do work.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I'll do anything.
- 45:18Speaker 8: I'll do whatever and just... Especially traffic around here. Oh,
- 45:22Speaker 8: it's the worst.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 5: I mean, I'll be curious to see how this plays out.
- 45:26Speaker 5: The cyber cab, though, the lightest, most range efficient vehicle
- 45:29Speaker 5: Tesla has ever produced, they're saying. So, yeah, stay tuned, guys.
- 45:33Speaker 5: Let's go over some of the big high school football
- 45:36Speaker 5: matchups tonight. We got some big games. The Eagles versus
- 45:39Speaker 5: the Eagles. So DeSoto at Allen.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I'm going to go.
- 45:43Speaker 5: You can't pick based on mascot.
- 45:44Speaker 1: No, I can't. I'm going to go with Allen.
- 45:46Speaker 6: Okay.
- 45:47Speaker 8: I just think they're so good. DeSoto lost last week,
- 45:50Speaker 8: even though they're incredible, too.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Yeah. They lost to that Florida team, and they didn't
- 45:54Speaker 1: shake hands with that team. Bad attitude, yep. I think
- 45:56Speaker 1: it might just be bad karma.
- 45:58Speaker 5: It could be for the season. I guess we'll find out.
- 46:00Speaker 5: Who do you think is going to win out of Southlake, Carroll,
- 46:03Speaker 5: the Dragons, and North Crowley Panthers?
- 46:05Speaker 1: Oh, man. North Crowley shut out Aledo last week. That
- 46:09Speaker 1: was a big game.
- 46:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 46:10Speaker 1: I'm going to go ahead, and I'm picking North Crowley.
- 46:12Speaker 6: Okay.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Even though Dez Bryant's son plays for Southlake, Does he? Yeah,
- 46:17Speaker 1: he's good, too. He's good. I mean, high school football
- 46:19Speaker 1: here is, I swear, it's better than college. Yeah. But
- 46:22Speaker 1: I'm going to go ahead and say North Crowley. Poo,
- 46:23Speaker 1: who are you picking? I'm going to go with Salt Lake.
- 46:26Speaker 6: Okay.
- 46:26Speaker 5: All right, we'll see. Guys, another big game. Cedar Hill
- 46:29Speaker 5: Longhorns at Duncanville Panthers. I know who Pooh's picking.
- 46:32Speaker 6: Who?
- 46:32Speaker 1: D-Ville, baby. Yeah, I guess I'll pick Duncanville. He went there.
- 46:35Speaker 1: He was the backup mascot.
- 46:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 46:37Speaker 1: The original Black Panther. Yeah.
- 46:39Speaker 5: Friday night lights tonight. Good luck to everyone.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Real quick, guys.
- 46:42Speaker 5: A new study looked at more than 1,600 drive-thru orders
- 46:46Speaker 5: at 10 major fast food chains. They basically found the
- 46:49Speaker 5: places with the best and worst odds of your order
- 46:53Speaker 5: getting right or wrong.
- 46:54Speaker 6: So....
- 46:55Speaker 5: Let's start with this, guys. 11% of drive-thru orders come
- 46:59Speaker 5: out wrong in general.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 47:01Speaker 5: Do you want to talk about the number one, or
- 47:03Speaker 5: do you want me to go for the list from
- 47:04Speaker 5: the bottom?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Just give me the top three.
- 47:07Speaker 5: Okay, top three. Well, number two and number three, it
- 47:09Speaker 5: was a tie. Wendy's and Dunkin' were runners-up.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Well, what about four, then?
- 47:15Speaker 5: Okay, four and five was also a tie. Burger King
- 47:17Speaker 5: and Raising Cane's.
- 47:19Speaker 1: How do you get Raising Cane's? They never mess my
- 47:21Speaker 1: order up.
- 47:22Speaker 5: Right, all they do is serve chicken tenders and fries.
- 47:26Speaker 8: Or they do forget a toast. Who was number one?
- 47:29Speaker 8: Who messes up the orders the most?
- 47:31Speaker 5: Your go-to, Taco Bell.
- 47:33Speaker 6: Oh!
- 47:34Speaker 5: Yeah, they mess up 15% of orders, according to this study.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Well, I thought it was going to be Popeyes. I
- 47:41Speaker 1: never get an order right at Popeyes.
- 47:42Speaker 5: I don't know the last time I went to Popeyes.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Well, get your life together.
- 47:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess I need to.
- 47:47Speaker 4: For sure.
- 47:48Speaker 5: All right, I'm Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas Top Stories.
- 47:50Speaker 7: 102.9.
- 47:51Speaker 6: The new Mix 102.9.
- 47:55Speaker 8: About to kick off the Wheel of Misfortune on Mix 102.9.
- 47:57Speaker 8: It's Billy the Kid, Candace Lopez, producer Pooh. I'm so
- 48:01Speaker 8: excited for the weekend. By the way, it's going to
- 48:02Speaker 8: be beautiful out all weekend, 90s and sunny, which it
- 48:06Speaker 8: could be worse.
- 48:06Speaker 1: It could be way hotter.
- 48:07Speaker 5: Yeah, it's going to be hot.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Or it could be rainy. Which one would you want?
- 48:10Speaker 5: I'd rather have rain right now.
- 48:12Speaker 1: On Labor Day weekend, Candace, of all times.
- 48:14Speaker 5: Right now, we haven't had rain in 50 days.
- 48:16Speaker 1: What a grumpy butt. Curmudgeon. What a curmudgeon. You're rubbing
- 48:21Speaker 1: off on me.
- 48:21Speaker 5: Now I'm the curmudgeon.
- 48:22Speaker 8: Either way, and it's a fun weekend, too, because we're
- 48:24Speaker 8: doing our banger weekend.
- 48:26Speaker 1: All weekend long.
- 48:27Speaker 8: So all our 730 bangers that you request that are
- 48:30Speaker 8: so good, we're just going to sprinkle them in all
- 48:32Speaker 8: weekend long.
- 48:33Speaker 1: That's fun. That is fun. I'm trying to be in
- 48:35Speaker 1: a good mood.
- 48:36Speaker 5: Okay, I'm in a good mood.
- 48:37Speaker 1: I want it to rain all weekend.
- 48:39Speaker 5: I want a nice inside cozy weekend.
- 48:41Speaker 1: No, let's do that next weekend.
- 48:43Speaker 5: That's fine.
- 48:44Speaker 1: We do it next weekend?
- 48:45Speaker 8: Fine.
- 48:46Speaker 1: I'm all about being a curmudgeon with you, just not
- 48:48Speaker 1: this weekend.
- 48:50Speaker 8: Okay, fair.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Are we ready to kick off the Wheel of Misfortune?
- 48:55Speaker 1: It's Billy the Kid in the Mornings.
- 49:03Speaker 8: Welcome, Junior Trebek, to the show.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Good morning, everybody.
- 49:10Speaker 1: The world famous host of Wheel of Misfortune.
- 49:13Speaker 8: The host with the most. With the fourth grade questions
- 49:16Speaker 8: that sometimes we can't get. Okay, that's just, that's what
- 49:18Speaker 8: it is.
- 49:20Speaker 1: It is.
- 49:20Speaker 2: You guys try.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Poo, you lost last week? Oh yeah, I lost. Poo
- 49:23Speaker 1: lost last week. He ate crickets. Huh?
- 49:24Speaker 5: He ate crickets.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Oh, that's right. That's right. Yeah. Crickets. Yeah. What flavor
- 49:30Speaker 1: did you get? All of them. You got sour cream
- 49:33Speaker 1: and onion. Yeah, bacon and cheese and salt and vinegar.
- 49:37Speaker 8: And then people DM'd and they said in some worlds,
- 49:39Speaker 8: in some countries, this is a delicatessen.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:42Speaker 1: And a mesquite it is as well.
- 49:44Speaker 8: They eat cicadas in Mesquite.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Crickets and salsa.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Dude, if you would have got cicadas. Whose ex
- 49:51Speaker 1: used to eat cicadas? She'd catch them midair. Okay. We
- 49:59Speaker 1: have five questions.
- 50:00Speaker 8: Whoever loses has to spin the wheel of misfortune and
- 50:03Speaker 8: chime in with your name, and you do not have
- 50:04Speaker 8: to wait until the question is finished.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Are we ready?
- 50:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Ready when you are, Junior. Here we go.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Question number one. What Tex-Mex dish gets its name from
- 50:14Speaker 2: the Spanish word for little donkey?
- 50:18Speaker 1: Billy.
- 50:18Speaker 3: What?
- 50:19Speaker 1: Go ahead, Billy. Burrito.
- 50:21Speaker 9: Correct.
- 50:22Speaker 6: Yes.
- 50:23Speaker 5: Did you say donkey?
- 50:24Speaker 2: Yes.
- 50:24Speaker 5: Oh, I thought you said dunking.
- 50:26Speaker 2: No, little donkey.
- 50:27Speaker 8: Donkey.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 50:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:29Speaker 6: Oh, man.
- 50:30Speaker 8: Okay.
- 50:30Speaker 1: How'd the gringo get that?
- 50:31Speaker 5: I thought he said little donkey.
- 50:33Speaker 1: No, he said little donkey, too, though. He said little donkey.
- 50:36Speaker 1: You two, no.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Sorry, I'll be more, I'll pronounce.
- 50:39Speaker 5: You a little better. No, that's okay.
- 50:40Speaker 8: Good job, Billy.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Just because they're losing.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Fun fact, it's because donkeys carry blankets that were rolled up.
- 50:45Speaker 2: And that's what the burritos look like.
- 50:46Speaker 1: That's exactly right.
- 50:47Speaker 6: Okay.
- 50:48Speaker 1: That's exactly right.
- 50:49Speaker 2: So there you go. A little fun fact for you.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Fun fact Friday. Fun fact Fridays are a thing. Question
- 50:56Speaker 1: number one, I'm up. Here we go.
- 51:00Speaker 2: We're going to move over to science.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Okay.
- 51:02Speaker 2: What is the name of the process by which water
- 51:05Speaker 2: changes from a liquid into a gas?
- 51:07Speaker 8: Billy.
- 51:08Speaker 2: That was definitely Billy.
- 51:09Speaker 8: Billy.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Evaporation? Correct.
- 51:12Speaker 8: Yes.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Good job.
- 51:14Speaker 5: Good job.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Yes.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Two questions correct?
- 51:17Speaker 1: Maybe I just shouldn't play anymore. Oh, calm down. I'm
- 51:21Speaker 1: just a little cocky, and I'm not. I'm not really
- 51:23Speaker 1: even that smart.
- 51:25Speaker 2: All right. Number three. I suggest you let me finish
- 51:27Speaker 2: on this one.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Because this is a finish the lyric, okay?
- 51:30Speaker 1: Okay. All right.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Finish the lyric from TLC's No Scrubs. No, I don't
- 51:36Speaker 2: want no scrub. A scrub is a guy that can't
- 51:38Speaker 2: get no love from me. What comes next?
- 51:40Speaker 6: Candace.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Candace.
- 51:42Speaker 5: Hanging out the passenger side of his best friend's ride.
- 51:44Speaker 2: That is correct.
- 51:45Speaker 8: Trying to follow me. Good job, Candace. Candace got it
- 51:49Speaker 8: fair and square. I was late on that one. I'm
- 51:52Speaker 8: disappointed in myself.
- 51:53Speaker 1: I should know. Pooh, you should know no scrubs.
- 51:55Speaker 8: You're the guy hanging out the car.
- 51:59Speaker 1: Hanging out your car. Exactly.
- 52:03Speaker 8: Two to one, I'm in the lead, but Pooh, come on.
- 52:06Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm trying.
- 52:08Speaker 2: What celebrity couple was famously nicknamed Bennifer?
- 52:11Speaker 1: Billy!
- 52:13Speaker 2: I definitely heard Billy first.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Correct.
- 52:17Speaker 6: Woo!
- 52:18Speaker 1: Okay, I'm safe. Y'all can fight it out.
- 52:21Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Question number five.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Can he tie it up?
- 52:26Speaker 2: What iconic food on a stick has been a staple
- 52:30Speaker 2: at the state?
- 52:30Speaker 1: Candace! That was Candace. Fletcher's corny dog.
- 52:33Speaker 2: That is correct.
- 52:39Speaker 1: And the loser today is... I heard you say Pooh.
- 52:43Speaker 2: I did hear you, but I heard Candace first. It
- 52:45Speaker 2: doesn't matter if I heard you.
- 52:46Speaker 8: She definitely chimed in first.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Definitely. That's right. Once again, this is becoming... I mean,
- 52:52Speaker 1: this is just becoming... It's not just becoming, because I've won. Yeah,
- 52:56Speaker 1: it's fine. But this is now two weeks in a
- 52:58Speaker 1: row where Pooh is lost. Yeah, that's fine.
- 53:00Speaker 5: He's on a bad streak.
- 53:01Speaker 8: If it's one more week in a row, we either
- 53:04Speaker 8: just rename this bit The Wheel of Pooh's Torture.
- 53:08Speaker 6: No!
- 53:08Speaker 3: No!
- 53:10Speaker 1: Or we stop doing it. No, no. We ain't stopping.
- 53:13Speaker 1: I mean, I almost feel bad, and it takes a
- 53:15Speaker 1: lot for me to feel bad for Pooh.
- 53:17Speaker 5: Anything can happen, though, after he spins.
- 53:19Speaker 8: He could spin, and it could land on past the L,
- 53:22Speaker 8: which he could take this and give the L to
- 53:24Speaker 8: someone else, and you know it's going to be me.
- 53:25Speaker 8: He's done that before. Why do I care if he
- 53:29Speaker 8: loses after that?
- 53:30Speaker 1: You know what? You're right. Why do I care?
- 53:31Speaker 8: Looking at the wheel, Pooh, what do you not want
- 53:35Speaker 8: to get?
- 53:36Speaker 1: What is your worst fear if it lands on what?
- 53:40Speaker 1: Take shots or wet sock? Take shots would not be
- 53:44Speaker 1: fun because... No.
- 53:45Speaker 5: It's 8.30.
- 53:46Speaker 1: For the rest of the show, you have to take shots.
- 53:48Speaker 1: And you know how lit I got over there at
- 53:50Speaker 1: Mi Casino. Mi Casino, yeah. Pooh's surprisingly a lightweight. Yeah,
- 53:55Speaker 1: I am. Like one Mambo Taxi and he is thrown.
- 53:59Speaker 5: It was kind of awesome, though.
- 54:00Speaker 1: It was kind of fun. That would be fun for us.
- 54:02Speaker 1: That's actually what I want it to land on.
- 54:04Speaker 5: That was lunchtime, though.
- 54:06Speaker 1: I'd want it to.
- 54:06Speaker 8: Land on that or, you know, it might be fun if...
- 54:10Speaker 8: If he had to wear floaties for the rest of
- 54:12Speaker 8: the day, it would.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Just be ridiculous.
- 54:13Speaker 5: That would, especially over his hoodie.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 54:16Speaker 8: All right, you know what? We will spin the wheel.
- 54:19Speaker 8: Coming up next, we'll also go live on Instagram.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Give us what? You want to do it like five
- 54:24Speaker 1: minutes from now?
- 54:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Five, ten minutes. Five, ten minutes.
- 54:28Speaker 8: We'll go live on Instagram at Mix1029FM. He will spin
- 54:31Speaker 8: the wheel next.
- 54:33Speaker 1: It's Billy the Kid in the Mornings. of misfortune.
- 54:40Speaker 5: On Mix 102.9.
- 54:42Speaker 8: Yes, we spun the wheel. It's Billy the Kid, Candice Lopez,
- 54:44Speaker 8: producer Pooh. We're live on Instagram right now at Mix
- 54:47Speaker 8: 102.9 FM.
- 54:49Speaker 1: So find us.
- 54:49Speaker 8: People are coming in right now because they want to
- 54:51Speaker 8: know what Candice is going to pick because unfortunately Pooh
- 54:55Speaker 8: lost and then he spins the wheel and it lands
- 54:58Speaker 8: on Candice's pick which I feel like this is so rigged.
- 55:01Speaker 1: That's amazing.
- 55:03Speaker 5: It's not rigged.
- 55:04Speaker 1: It's rigged because here's why I feel like it's rigged.
- 55:06Speaker 8: Because when Pooh, one time Pooh had to, now Pooh's
- 55:10Speaker 8: picked for Candace.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Yeah. And he picked something very light for Candace. Very easy.
- 55:14Speaker 5: It wasn't that light. It wasn't as easy as it looked.
- 55:16Speaker 1: She was struggling. It was a vibration plate. You had
- 55:18Speaker 1: to stand on the vibration plate.
- 55:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I had pelvic floor problems.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it was not good. I guess if you have
- 55:24Speaker 1: pelvic floor problems, I can't argue with that.
- 55:26Speaker 9: Right.
- 55:27Speaker 1: All right.
- 55:27Speaker 8: So you're going to pick something. And you haven't told us.
- 55:30Speaker 8: We're live on Instagram. People are suggesting they want take shots.
- 55:34Speaker 8: More crickets.
- 55:36Speaker 1: More crickets.
- 55:37Speaker 8: You could eat more crickets. There's wig out. You'd have
- 55:38Speaker 8: to wear a wig for the rest of the day.
- 55:40Speaker 8: There's wet sock. You'd have to wear one wet sock
- 55:42Speaker 8: for the rest of the day. The bottom line is, really, Amy,
- 55:46Speaker 8: was it Aaron? I think Aaron had a good question.
- 55:47Speaker 8: She said, well, what is his plans for the rest
- 55:50Speaker 8: of the day?
- 55:51Speaker 6: Right.
- 55:52Speaker 1: That matters in your decision.
- 55:53Speaker 7: Well, I have to go to the high school and
- 55:55Speaker 7: pick up my 14-year-old son, Brendan.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Okay.
- 55:58Speaker 1: That's about it. Okay.
- 56:00Speaker 8: I promised him Sonic. So that does matter. So what
- 56:04Speaker 8: are your plans tonight? Do you have a date?
- 56:06Speaker 1: No, we're just going to chill out. I got daddy duty. Okay.
- 56:10Speaker 1: So you're going out? You're going anywhere?
- 56:11Speaker 7: No, me and Brendan are probably just going to hit
- 56:13Speaker 7: up Sonic and whatever he wants to do.
- 56:15Speaker 4: Where's Paul?
- 56:15Speaker 5: That's fun.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Paul, he's going to be out of town. Okay. So,
- 56:19Speaker 1: all right. He's going to be out, but not crazy out.
- 56:21Speaker 1: He's not going to be on a date, which we
- 56:23Speaker 1: should have known that.
- 56:24Speaker 6: Oh! Oh!
- 56:28Speaker 8: So your decision, Candice Lopez, I'm excited. Everybody on Instagram,
- 56:31Speaker 8: everybody listening, he's ready for you to pick.
- 56:35Speaker 5: Who you're about to do the crisscross challenge.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Oh! I knew you were going to go easy on him.
- 56:43Speaker 5: Well, I just think he deserves, you know, to get
- 56:46Speaker 5: cut some slack this week. The Christmas last week was
- 56:48Speaker 5: kind of disgusting.
- 56:50Speaker 8: Okay, the crisscross challenge is where for the rest of
- 56:52Speaker 8: the day, he has to wear his clothes backwards like
- 56:54Speaker 8: the group crisscrossed it back in the day.
- 56:56Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 56:57Speaker 9: Okay.
- 56:57Speaker 1: So he's wearing jeans and a hoodie. Oh, see, you
- 57:00Speaker 1: went easy. I'm telling you right now. Hold on. Just
- 57:02Speaker 1: remember this.
- 57:03Speaker 8: If this were to be me, and I'm telling you now,
- 57:06Speaker 8: if Candace or Pooh picked, oh, for my punishment, you'd
- 57:09Speaker 8: have me do something stupid.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you'd have to take shots if it was me. Yeah, probably.
- 57:15Speaker 1: So you'd go hard on me. Both of you would
- 57:16Speaker 1: go hard on me.
- 57:17Speaker 6: Maybe.
- 57:18Speaker 5: You don't know that.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Candace would be like, oh, you know what, Billy? Go
- 57:21Speaker 1: play in traffic. Blindfolded. See you later. All right. So
- 57:27Speaker 1: it is the crisscross challenge.
- 57:29Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Why don't we do this? We're live on Instagram. If
- 57:31Speaker 1: you want to just go on the hallway.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Let me go do your thing.
- 57:36Speaker 1: All right.
- 57:36Speaker 8: So go change. And we got Texas top stories coming
- 57:40Speaker 8: up next. Candace, you went so light on him.
- 57:42Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 57:43Speaker 1: It's cute.
- 57:43Speaker 5: It's going to be fun.
- 57:44Speaker 1: You think so?
- 57:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 57:45Speaker 1: We'll find out next.
- 57:47Speaker 5: Mix 102.9 is counting down.
- 57:51Speaker 3: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 57:54Speaker 3: Kid in the Morning.
- 57:55Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 57:57Speaker 1: We are the best listeners.
- 57:59Speaker 8: We were just on Instagram Live, and it's always so
- 58:01Speaker 8: much fun, and they're so cool. Everybody's so nice, and
- 58:03Speaker 8: we were getting new ideas on Instagram for the Wheel
- 58:05Speaker 8: of Misfortune. Because we just got off way too easy.
- 58:08Speaker 1: I think Pooh got off way too easy by doing crisscross.
- 58:10Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 58:11Speaker 8: Wearing his clothes backwards for the rest of the day.
- 58:12Speaker 8: Next week, we're putting two new things on the Wheel
- 58:14Speaker 8: of Misfortune that are going to be nuclear bad.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Crazy bad.
- 58:18Speaker 5: We'll worry about that next week.
- 58:19Speaker 1: We're going nuclear. Nuclear? It's going to be bad next week.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Candace Lopez, what is going on?
- 58:25Speaker 4: All right.
- 58:25Speaker 5: Well, a FedEx in Denton alerted the city after someone
- 58:28Speaker 5: tried to mail almost 200 turtles to China. Denton Animal
- 58:32Speaker 5: Services recovered the turtles and tortoises. The investigation is now
- 58:37Speaker 5: going on. But these turtles have been placed at the
- 58:39Speaker 5: Dallas Zoo while they figure this out.
- 58:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:42Speaker 5: Who's mailing them?
- 58:43Speaker 6: Why?
- 58:43Speaker 8: I don't know why someone's mailing 200. Remember the girl
- 58:46Speaker 8: was smuggling turtles in her bra?
- 58:47Speaker 1: Oh, that's right. What is up with turtles right now?
- 58:50Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 58:51Speaker 5: She was going to hand deliver them, though.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Do they not have turtles in China?
- 58:54Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 58:55Speaker 1: I feel like they would.
- 58:56Speaker 5: Are they more valuable?
- 58:57Speaker 1: I don't know, but everyone's smuggling turtles.
- 58:58Speaker 8: I've seen turtles all the time on the side of
- 59:00Speaker 8: the road.
- 59:00Speaker 1: We could just get turtles anywhere.
- 59:02Speaker 9: Right.
- 59:03Speaker 1: You don't need to smuggle turtles.
- 59:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know, but I guess you can see
- 59:06Speaker 5: them at the Dallas Zoo for a little while if
- 59:07Speaker 5: you want.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Okay, cool.
- 59:09Speaker 5: Yeah, odd things. happening in Denton today.
- 59:11Speaker 8: Really, though?
- 59:12Speaker 5: Guys, Halloween candy is going viral right now because of
- 59:15Speaker 5: a recall. So this candy was sold here in Texas
- 59:18Speaker 5: and 12 other states at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods.
- 59:22Speaker 5: So these are the chocolatey eyeballs. I don't know if
- 59:26Speaker 5: you've ever seen these at HomeGoods, but I guess they
- 59:28Speaker 5: have milk in them, but the packaging doesn't state that
- 59:30Speaker 5: they have milk, so it's an allergen issue.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 59:33Speaker 5: Yeah, they're like milk chocolate eyeballs.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 59:36Speaker 5: Yeah, so you don't want them.
- 59:37Speaker 8: Well, you know, I question your decision-making if you're buying
- 59:40Speaker 8: candy at TJ Maxx anyway.
- 59:41Speaker 5: I mean, every once in a while they have some
- 59:44Speaker 5: unique stuff.
- 59:45Speaker 8: I'm not mad at the Maxx, and I'm not mad
- 59:47Speaker 8: at Ross and Marshalls, but I don't get food from there.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Right. You know, I might get a half-off polo. Or
- 59:53Speaker 1: some shoes.
- 59:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, their snack selection is pretty good, though.
- 59:57Speaker 5: At HomeGoods.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Oh, HomeGoods.
- 59:58Speaker 5: When you're leaving, right there, waiting.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: HomeGoods is different. At Home is different. At Home got
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: some good snacks. Real good snacks. All right, calm down, Pooh.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: Good to know.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: Guys, apparently CDs are making a big comeback this year.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: Experts say CDs are back because of how inexpensive they
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: are and how affordable these all-in-one players are. But I
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: guess people are getting into listening to full albums again,
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: the way we've been into vinyls.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Listen, kids, I'm going to tell you right now, CDs suck.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: They're the worst. Vinyl's cool. I like vinyl. Even cassettes.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: CDs were the worst to me because they skipped.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: Yeah, but cassettes, you had to rewind and fast forward.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: What kids have the patience for cassette rewinding?
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: Well, we had to then, but that also forced you
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: to listen to a whole album.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: You would actually listen to it and get to know
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: it and enjoy it, and now you just skip around. CDs,
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: you couldn't even ride your bike or jog or do
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: anything because it was always skipping. Yeah.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Cassettes were on break, but I take my cassette through war.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: They're saying those CD sales jumped 58% this year to
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: $ 171 million in revenue. Well, I know artists are happy.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Because that's the only one who's going to make,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: artists used to make real good money.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Yeah, they did.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: But new artists are probably like, I guess I need
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: to put it out on a CD.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Put it out on a CD.
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: Weird.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Then where are you going to play it?
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, find a CD player. You're going to
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: have to.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: Get in Pooh's 89 car to get the CD player.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Yeah, my car got it. Yeah. Perfect. I don't think
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: my car has a CD player.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: No, mine doesn't. I don't think. No, it doesn't.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: He's actually still got a cassette player. Jeez, Pooh. It's
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a dual CD cassette. Dang.
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: All right, you're fancy. Ballin'. All right, I'm Candace Lopez.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: Those are your Texas Top Stories. It's Dirty Little Secret
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: with Billy the Kid in the Morning on Mix 102.9.
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: Brought to you by Mint Dentistry.
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: That's right, Dirty Little Secret. Also, Usher and Chris Brown tickets.
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: We've got them all day, so I want to make
- 1:01:49Speaker 8: sure you listen and win. Another shot at like 10-10,
- 1:01:53Speaker 8: but we do it on the 10s pretty much every
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: hour all day. And a chance to get on that
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: VIP riser with them, too. And some things go down
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: on that riser.
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: Oh, man.
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: I think it sounds so sketch.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: I mean, it's not sketch.
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: It's just you get up close and personal. There's a
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: chance you can get up close and personal with Chris
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: Brown or Usher.
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: Oh, cool.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: It's caused divorces. It's caused breakups. It's caused pregnancies.
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Stop. Yes, it has. All right.
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: Dirty Little Secret is on. Confess if you got some.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: 833-787-1029. Hey.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: Good morning. I have a dirty little secret for you.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: So what is happening?
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: Okay. So I've been at my job for a really
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: long time. I'm established there. People trust me. I know everybody.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: My boss trusts me. I have a really good reputation.
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: And about a year ago, this girl started working with
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: us and nobody liked her. She was one of those
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: like people who never came out with us, never went
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: to the things. And it was like, She had a
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: weird personality, you know, she just, the chemistry was off.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: And before people say we were bullying the new girl,
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: I wasn't like that.
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: Nobody was like that. Nobody was bullying her. Okay.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: She was just weird.
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: So she didn't fit into the crew is what it
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: sounds like.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: She didn't talk to anybody.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: You know, like she wasn't a team player. We're all
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: working together. She's like, I'll do it by myself. She
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: only worried about herself. And I don't know.
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: It was just like weird because she had this attitude
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: and people just didn't like her. You know, like she
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: thought she was better than us. She was like, I'm
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: hotter than everyone. You don't deserve to be in my presence.
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: You know, that kind of.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: So we don't you don't like that. You don't want
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: that vibe.
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: No, no.
- 1:03:29Speaker 9: So not too long ago, something happened at work. Somebody
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: made a huge mistake.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: So my boss was furious. He was venting. He didn't
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: know who did it. I knew because it was me
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: and I messed up.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Oh, you're the one who messed up.
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: So when my boss called me and he was like,
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: he was like asking questions, I panicked.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: And I remember I looked him dead in the eye
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: and I was saying something like, you've known me for years.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: You can trust me and I can tell you who
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: did it. And then I gave her a name.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: No.
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: You threw the newest girl under the bus?
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: Yes, I gave her a name because I was angry
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: at her and I was like, I'm just going to
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: throw it at her.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: I'm just going to say it was her.
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: Did he believe you?
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: He did believe me.
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: And I completely threw her under the bus and he
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: believed me without even questioning it because I've been there
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: for so long.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: And the next week she was fired.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Oh, dang.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: No.
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: What?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: No way. Okay.
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: So, you have....
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: You basically set her up to take the fall to
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: your mistake. She gets fired. Now, I know you didn't
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: like her, but at the same time, was she a
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: bad worker? Because if you don't like someone, that's one thing.
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: You're like, okay. But if she genuinely just sucks at
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: her job, then you're like, now she's a liability.
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: She's bringing the team down.
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: That's different.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Right. But it sounds like you just.
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: No, she was... Yeah, she was actually pretty good at
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: the job. She just... Nobody liked working with her and
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: had a bad attitude. I don't feel bad about it
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: at all.
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: At all?
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: At nothing? At all.
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: No remorse?
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: Because.
- 1:05:05Speaker 9: Nobody liked working with her and she was a miserable
- 1:05:09Speaker 9: person and we were all miserable in her presence.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: And she clearly hated being there anyway. So I feel
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: like I kind of did her a favor because like,
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: I don't know, this just fell into my lap.
- 1:05:19Speaker 9: It was the perfect equation and I took the chance
- 1:05:22Speaker 9: and I think it was a good decision actually.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Okay. I mean, that's one way to.
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: But when you did now do other people, do the
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: other girls or other people in the office know that
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: what you did?
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: No.
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: But when everyone found out she was fired, they were like,
- 1:05:37Speaker 9: thank God. And they were like, Oh my gosh, it's, it's,
- 1:05:40Speaker 9: this is such a blessing.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: I'm so glad that this happened.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Okay. So you feel like you did everyone a favor.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: I'm yeah.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: I mean, I was agreeing with everybody and nobody knew
- 1:05:49Speaker 9: it was me and I'm the reason she's gone.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: And even my boss doesn't know to this day. And
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: I'm like, I don't know.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Like, Wow.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: At least I get to tell you guys.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I mean, you told us. Yikes. I don't know.
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: I get it, but I would feel so.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Bad in a weird way.
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd feel like I'm going to have bad karma forever.
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: Yeah, but then again, she feels like this is this
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: girl's karma. She's a bad person, and she just got
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: what was coming to her.
- 1:06:18Speaker 9: Yeah. Yeah, I feel like it is karma, and I
- 1:06:21Speaker 9: think that, like, I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't have
- 1:06:24Speaker 9: blamed her for something I did, but she wasn't.
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: Happy there, like I said. And nobody wanted to.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: Work with her.
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: And in the long run, maybe her getting fired just
- 1:06:32Speaker 9: pushed her in the right direction so she can find
- 1:06:35Speaker 9: her path and fit in with wherever she needs to
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: fit in.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: But it wasn't with us.
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: It's possible. You can't sit with us. No mean girls, Matthew.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: All right. Well, you did it.
- 1:06:47Speaker 8: At least the office is hopefully calm now. and you
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: made everybody happy. I mean, you're kind of a hero,
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: according to The Office. It sounds like you're the unsung
- 1:06:56Speaker 8: hero that nobody knows. You just saved The Office of
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: this awful person, so good for you.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: Well, yeah, that's what I keep telling myself.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Okay, well, I'm glad you feel better getting it off
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: your chest.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I actually do feel better.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: Thank you, guys.
