- 1:20For me, her name is Tiffany Weaver, Tiffany Weaver and the
- 1:26what she will be talking about today is I don't look like what
- 1:31I have been through and you can look at it and she don't look
- 1:35like she been in a thing. Do you take a look at her?
- 1:38But I'ma tell you a little bit about Tiffany because she has a
- 1:41lot going on Tiffany. /. She's also known as
- 1:46one-of-a-kind. I love that.
- 1:49She is a wife to Henry. She's a mother of two, beautiful
- 1:53daughters and a daughter of the king.
- 1:57That's a a lot within itself. The daughter of the king, she is
- 2:01the owner and founder a one-of-a-kind girls
- 2:06one-of-a-kind ta LLC and sisters.
- 2:12She is a published author. Of eight, books, eight books and

- 2:24young girls in her community college students.
- 2:29And those who graduated, who attend the school that she
- 2:34graduated cum laude from. Wow, that does.
- 2:40That's awesome. She earned the spirit of Of
- 2:44service award she's a double master in business and
- 2:50healthcare administration and management.
- 2:53And lastly, that I would say about her.
- 2:56Tiffany was a u.s. veteran that served our country for eight
- 3:02years. And I just want to bring to you
- 3:05all Tiffany Weaver. I'm so excited, we never ever
- 3:10met in person. I have the Facebook group if
- 3:13you're not a father, Group women major in your marriage.
- 3:17I would love for you to go there where I post and they prove
- 3:21every every day I show up every day and that group.
- 3:24But I post things that are encouraging to people and I have
- 3:29the soup and chat from time to time and Tiffany came on one of
- 3:34my sip and chat while we just laid it, just sit and talk.
- 3:38And she told some of her story and I made about a month.
- 3:44That ago, somebody asked me about her.
- 3:47And I see she said she said, you know what you think, you don't
- 3:50have somebody going through something she said, but that
- 3:53lady that told she told me part of the story and she's begin to
- 3:59tell me her story and she was like, I'll never forget I'll
- 4:06never forget that. I would never forget that store
- 4:08so you never you never know who your story is for and I say if
- 4:14not, but one person gets up Something from these podcast,
- 4:18then I know that my job is not in vain is not in vain in there.
- 4:22So many people have stories and they sit back on their stories.
- 4:26They don't tell their stores, but your story not always for
- 4:31you. It could be for the other
- 4:32person. So don't sit back, sit back on
- 4:35your story. We're gonna sit here and we're
- 4:38going to let Tiffany just however the lordly her.
- 4:41She gonna tell her story as to how she chose that topic.
- 4:47That she don't look like what she been through.
- 4:50Tiffany tell us about yourself and what have you been through,
- 4:53and how you came up with that store and then you are pop.
- 4:58You published, eight Bulls, you are mother your Mentor.
- 5:03You you so encouraging so inspired and if you don't mind
- 5:08how old are you Tiffany? I just had a birthday.
- 5:11So I'm now 44. Wow what?
- 5:14What a blessing To be where you are at such a young age.
- 5:20That is a bit sensitive. Such a blessed, I follow you.
- 5:25I see your girls I see what they doing.
- 5:28I see how you porn into their lives which is a blessing.
- 5:32I see the other one, she ran their cooking.
- 5:34I'm like, okay, so it's just a blessing to have you.
- 5:42So Just Have Your Way. Well, again, thank you for this
- 5:48opportunity. I'm just so honored and blessed
- 5:52every single time I have the opportunity to just bring glory
- 5:54to God's name. As you just mentioned, our
- 5:57stories are important. In Revelation, reminds us of
- 5:59that because he tell us our stories, Our Testimony have
- 6:02power, he tells us, how do we overcome the Enemy by the blood
- 6:06of the lamb and the word of Our Testimony?
- 6:09So the fact that our testimonies have power is testimony in it.
- 6:13Itself, right? So just in choosing I don't look
- 6:18like what I've been through. I just think you know just like
- 6:21I shared with you in the Sip and chat when I just look back over
- 6:24my life, I am just and I'm pretty sure many of you can
- 6:27relate just elated to see you know you think about your scars
- 6:31and your trauma and your trials of your tribulation and then you
- 6:34look back and there's no evidence you don't smell like
- 6:37the residue of smoke is such a blessing.
- 6:39So when I think about me and I was just No, talking to my pops
- 6:44earlier and just always mentoring, you know, talking to
- 6:47my daughters. And I just thank God for
- 6:50allowing me. I don't have any regrets.
- 6:51I suffered a lot of trauma at a very, very young age.
- 6:56So I always say everything that you could probably go through by
- 6:59the age of nine. I probably experienced it so at
- 7:03the age of nine, my mom did go to prison, she was removed from
- 7:06my life abruptly and for taking someone else's life and, you
- 7:11know, it's just that it but I she often testifies that her
- 7:15going to prison is say, changed her life, but it's saved ours.
- 7:19So a lot of No Love, No hugs, no, nurturing, no.
- 7:26You know, the heights of abuse, lots of police.
- 7:29Lots of moving. I mean, I often testified that
- 7:36little girl. I had experienced so much evil.
- 7:38She had to die. So that I can.
- 7:40You see today could live? Because she had been exposed to
- 7:43so much verbal. Sexual mental psychological
- 7:47abuse. I just don't see, you know, and
- 7:50I thank God for it. I thank God for him.
- 7:54And then again, and maybe 2015, 2016, the book I have been
- 7:57writing since I was nine years old, he finally gave me an
- 8:01opportunity to publish that book.
- 8:03And at first, I was a little hesitant, but I was in school to
- 8:08be a healthcare administrator, and he was telling me and I had
- 8:12been meant for 14 years. I started mentoring even in
- 8:15college, you know, I started volunteer and he said, you know,
- 8:18you try to help these young people but he'll people help
- 8:22people hurt, people hurt people. So oftentimes, you think you're
- 8:26coming from a good place? You're like, oh and he showed me
- 8:29that I needed to areas. There were some areas I need to
- 8:32go back. Can healing and I mean, I
- 8:34thought it was good. I never really, I was never a
- 8:36Pity story. I didn't like to tell people
- 8:38where I've been been through. I came to Texas.
- 8:41I ran away from Oklahoma because of a lot of the bad things that
- 8:45was going on in my life. And so, a lot of my friends,
- 8:47they didn't know I was a ward of the state.
- 8:49I was homeless, but I went to school made good grades
- 8:52graduated top of my class played for it.
- 8:54To no one knew. Like, where did this girl come
- 8:57from? Where her parents?
- 8:58Do she have siblings? And then it wasn't until like
- 9:002015, 2016 I have Friends have known me for years and they're
- 9:04just learning my story. And they're like, how the heck
- 9:07did you go to school? You kept all that in?
- 9:10I did, I had a fight in me. I, you know, I came into the
- 9:15world, the more I learn about my story that use and, you know,
- 9:18people often say, you know, you came in a bit and to the world
- 9:20as a baby and your parents try to take you out, you know, and
- 9:24you fought. So I had a fighter Spirit to
- 9:26always fault. So I remember when my mom went
- 9:30to prison, I remember the counselor she Your black and
- 9:33white Bible and I remember the in seeing was blue and I
- 9:36remember a gold cross on it, but I also remember what she said to
- 9:40me. It was almost as if she was
- 9:41saying because of all the abuse, the trauma my mama going to
- 9:44prison. It was a great opportunity that
- 9:47I was going to become. I was going to go down that same
- 9:49path. So at nine years old, I made up
- 9:52in my mind, I wasn't going to become a victim.
- 9:55I was going to fight, but in doing, so I kind of learned how
- 9:59to cope through life, I had to keep it, keep it moving tight.
- 10:02Right Spirit, you know, I didn't cry.
- 10:04I didn't you know what are you going to cry for life?
- 10:06Doesn't have sympathy for you. Got to keep it moving.
- 10:09And one thing about publishing that first book and getting that
- 10:13healing, it took me about three years to like, go through the
- 10:17entire process. And that was really going back
- 10:19to those places where, you know, my my innocent was taken, it
- 10:24innocence was taken at two years old, you know.
- 10:26And this person was allowed to continue and what can you do?
- 10:30Two years old. Wow.
- 10:33And it continued and even felt point to where when I was about
- 10:3615 16 and I was here in Texas, as a homeless, ward of the
- 10:39state, I was diagnosed with cancer because of it and they
- 10:42told me I would never have children.
- 10:43And so when I tell you, the testimony gets continues because
- 10:46they were able to tell me because of the sexual violation
- 10:49that started so young. It was, you know, the cancer and
- 10:53I just remember praying and I just like, I was like, Lord if
- 10:56you just give me an opportunity to be to some children, what I
- 11:00never got and I remember rolling into parking, which is like the
- 11:04community hospital here and I mean, I had prepared for the
- 11:08surgery, I didn't, I was so young, I did understand the
- 11:12chemo, and what the cancer me, I just begin to pray to God.
- 11:15To say, Lord, I just want to opportunity to have children.
- 11:18And as you mentioned in my bio, I do have two beautiful
- 11:20daughters. College student, that's 22 and I
- 11:23have a 13 year old. And I tell you my I'm just I'm
- 11:27just so thankful that I experienced motherhood as it
- 11:31should be through my children, right?
- 11:32Not perfect. You know, don't know everything.
- 11:34I had my first daughter out of wedlock.
- 11:36So all those, you know, I was, I was very upset with myself
- 11:39because I was in college and I fought and I had all these
- 11:43dreams and aspirations, and I talked about that becoming a
- 11:46statistic, right? What if you don't have a baby in
- 11:49high school, then early college, and I was so mad at myself
- 11:53because I'm like, you fall so hard, you know, but it was
- 11:55always this desire to fit. Look perfect, you know, because
- 11:59life was so imperfect to. You just had this desire.
- 12:01If I do be good enough, if I just do enough, that people will
- 12:05love me and it wasn't until I wrote the book, I got the
- 12:07healing and God, I learned that God, truly loved me.
- 12:13I began in early on, in my mentorship, even when I was
- 12:16modeling, I was a model I work with celebrities.
- 12:19I have pictures of working with Chris Brown and Vivica Fox, and
- 12:22Floyd Mayweather, and Steve Harvey.
- 12:24I've had opportunities, but that wasn't the path God had for my
- 12:28life. Once I learned, I was loved.
- 12:32I began my healing process and God showed me that I was truly
- 12:36one of a kind that's kind of where, my Ministry, everything
- 12:39kind of evolved from. I remind my girls that they are
- 12:42Fully in one of one wonderfully made, they're created in God's
- 12:46likeness and His Image. They are exactly who God created
- 12:50them to be. That is my motto.
- 12:52So when I teach them, I'm one of a kind Tiffany you're one of a
- 12:55kind Janice. So I try to teach them.
- 12:58I don't care what the life throws at you, your parents,
- 13:01don't love you. Mama, do God loves you and
- 13:04wants, you understand that part? Everything kind of extends from
- 13:09there. So that became that transition
- 13:11in life for me, where R. I never imagined, I was such my
- 13:15luck, my self-esteem was so low. I could never even read a
- 13:18picture in front of the class. So now that I'm having this
- 13:20conversation with you, my beautiful sister that I have
- 13:23never met in person. I still stages I've heard from
- 13:28women of all Races all over the world.
- 13:31I just never imagined me, sharing my story, how we
- 13:35suffered so much abuse. We got into the system.
- 13:38I remember going in foster care and and nobody wanted me and
- 13:41they giving me back Mama, I remember being locked in closets
- 13:46and just a suicide attempts because the pain was so bad.
- 13:50I just wanted to stop the rape, the set the set up in high
- 13:55school the cancer. So I would tell people baby
- 13:58anything you can tell me about the time.
- 14:00I was nine year old new years old, I experienced it but God,
- 14:04so when I say and I tell you, I didn't have much of a
- 14:07relationship with my mom before I wrote the book.
- 14:10And, you know, and I tell of my quotes in the book is, sometimes
- 14:14you're going to have to forgive with no apology.
- 14:17I truly believe. If me as a person that came in
- 14:20this world, a mother who did not?
- 14:23I mean, my mother hated me. This is how I felt me and my
- 14:26mother have a great relationship.
- 14:27Now you know that book me choosing to get my healing
- 14:33without her coming to you know because what we're waiting for
- 14:37is them to get their healing right?
- 14:38Because in order for her to come and really acknowledge all the
- 14:42hurt that House and all she got a children and we all got a
- 14:45book. Wow, to try to to kind of come.
- 14:52I couldn't imagine, right? So I've learned to have
- 14:54compassion for my mother. I children by the time she was
- 14:5620, her rape her and you know her abuse and all of that to
- 15:00have compassion. Now, does it take away from my
- 15:02experience? No, does it take away from I'm
- 15:06talking about, you know, the hair ripped from my head.
- 15:09I remember one time I was locked in a closet for months and to
- 15:12this day, you know, I don't even closed doors in my house because
- 15:15I was locked in the car. Then I could just always
- 15:17remember looking under one end to eat.
- 15:19I'm hungry. You know, my hair is ripped from
- 15:22my head. I was just in and I and she let
- 15:24me out to go to a carnival and I told me that they ended up
- 15:30taking a picture of me and I ended up on the Billboards in
- 15:33Oklahoma, under the feed, the hungry children Network, they
- 15:37thought that they had seen, they probably thought I was a little
- 15:41African. They can, you know, because of
- 15:45my auntie say now we're driving. Driving down the street in
- 15:48Oklahoma and your face is plastered on the feed.
- 15:51The hungry children at work at, you know, for years people used
- 15:55to tease me and say oh that's why you were on the feed, the
- 15:58hungry children Network and you know so all those things that
- 16:02just played into you know my self-esteem and not seeing it
- 16:06seeing my words and always seeing myself at the bottom and
- 16:10more. So, like the black sheep, you
- 16:12know, I'm one of those people that realize It's not how I
- 16:16feel. It is a fact.
- 16:18I was the black sheep, you know, and it's so sad because a lot of
- 16:22stuff happened to me and I even talked about not having identity
- 16:28and not even have a name. So, at one point, we were just
- 16:30known as her kids, right? Her oldest, her middle, her
- 16:34youngest. So it was always understood.
- 16:36They see an echo that soothes young is, right?
- 16:38Because that's the one that's in prison, that's her kid.
- 16:42And it was always Oh, you know, there's no explanation.
- 16:45It was no like hey, you should quit, do you?
- 16:47And so I just made it a point to take all of the experiences and
- 16:52be open. I finish honest with my children
- 16:56about everything that I've gone through to teach them how to
- 17:01keep pushing. Keep fighting no matter what you
- 17:03know, life throws at you, that they are one-of-a-kind.
- 17:07They are fearfully and wonderfully made.
- 17:08And always try to let them know like if I can do it.
- 17:12You do it because you hate experienced.
- 17:15So so, so so much the enemy. Had my oldest sister as
- 17:19handicapped. She got hit by a car when she
- 17:21was four and maybe like a year ago.
- 17:25She was locked up in John Hopkins, because she's had a lot
- 17:27of mental. She's basically diagnosed as
- 17:30mentally retarded and she apologized to me when she was
- 17:33locked up in John Hopkins. And I said, why are you
- 17:35apologizing? She said I'm apologizing that.
- 17:38I was physically disabled. and because of my mental, I was
- 17:42never able to help you when you were being You know, abused I
- 17:47could never. I could never help you and I was
- 17:50just, you know, that just peers my heart, that here it is, my
- 17:53sister, that was physically and mentally incapable.
- 17:56Wow. And she saying, as my little
- 17:58sister, I saw you, you know, being thumped and being kicked
- 18:02and being treated like a dog, you know, and the constant taken
- 18:06out of schools because of this is the levels of, you know,
- 18:10abuse. This is not just a whooping,
- 18:11these are aware. I was constantly taken out of
- 18:14the school. Because they would see bruises
- 18:16and they would see stuff and they would always take me out of
- 18:19the school and then I wasn't physically good enough for
- 18:23someone to want to take me. So I would watch kids be taken
- 18:26and then you know, I would never be taken.
- 18:28And you have to go back to that process of going back to your
- 18:31mother because now, no one else wanted use.
- 18:35This is still a lot of times when.
- 18:37Yeah. So when you see me, you know,
- 18:39you just have to understand. I know I understand, you know.
- 18:43I just and I try Tell people because I've had counselors tell
- 18:47me like you're not possible and you shouldn't be in your right
- 18:49mind and it's no way they call me because you have different
- 18:53levels of abuse victims. So I'm like a multi.
- 18:57I have about eight pages of Statistics that they giving me
- 19:00about myself where I was. You know, I was doing for prison
- 19:03in because I was abused. It was it was a greater
- 19:07likelihood that I was going to use my children that I was going
- 19:10to do the same things I was going to be in prison.
- 19:13I was going to be diagnosed with some talk.
- 19:15Remember, Mental illness because of all I endured and I had a
- 19:19council to me one time and she said, what do you who do you?
- 19:22Give credit to? And I say it has its God.
- 19:25Yes, nobody would know. And they kept telling because I
- 19:28never did counseling because I remember that counselor.
- 19:31And my any said you never spoke again after the.
- 19:33And I said, because I saw this white woman as a counselor
- 19:36trying to tell me this little black child, she had an
- 19:39experience anything that I ever experienced.
- 19:42They had no idea what I was going to, and then she thinks
- 19:45she had Power to tell me that statistically, I was, I had a
- 19:49greater chance of being absolutely nothing in life.
- 19:53Because of everything that was it.
- 19:55And I made up in my mind, I never spoke again.
- 19:58And then I made up in my mind, I was like I'm gonna fight, so I
- 20:01used it more. So as motivation, I went through
- 20:04a period of time where I was, I was a fighter, you know, people
- 20:10didn't even think I was gonna make it in the army.
- 20:11They say, yeah, they say you not going to make it an army,
- 20:15everybody had been. So you going, you going to be
- 20:17put out the, you know, and it's crazy because I was a leader.
- 20:20I was leader when I went into the army and I am You know, but
- 20:24it was, it was a good thing for me because I needed the
- 20:26discipline. When I had my daughter, I needed
- 20:29to, I need it. Everything that happened, and
- 20:32God allow the good, the bad, the ugly, it all played a role in
- 20:36who I am today and so I don't have any regrets.
- 20:41I don't, I try to use my experiences, my education to
- 20:45pour into young people. I've been mentoring as a
- 20:50healthcare administrator, educate them health.
- 20:52And I talked About the necessity for forgiveness and healing.
- 20:56Because what happens in the body stays in the body, you don't
- 21:00release it. And that's why a lot of us as
- 21:03African Americans are experiencing all sorts of
- 21:05diseases because we were taught things in slavery and they kept
- 21:10us in slave. I'm working on my first movie.
- 21:12Now, I have a book project called are light-skinned
- 21:14dark-skinned and I finish my movie trailer, so I'm working
- 21:18on, so everything that I have is awesome.
- 21:24I'm just taking everything and it's been motivation for me and
- 21:27you know, I have I'm not a sympathetic person.
- 21:29I don't have pity parties, lightning had pity for me, but I
- 21:33am a better person. I can put myself and I can say,
- 21:35I understand, because if that was me, I could understand.
- 21:39And then I must encourage her. What do we have to do to
- 21:42motivate you? What do you have to?
- 21:44And I try to, you know, use different things even as a life
- 21:46coach, I'm a Master Certified life coach.
- 21:49It's you know, trying to challenge because especially
- 21:51with these Millennials and the newer kids It's a different
- 21:54approach. They're dealing with all kinds
- 21:56of other things, but to kind of teach them little tricks to
- 21:59where they can use these trials and tribulations as stepping
- 22:04stones you know go to work. Go to work for them and make
- 22:08make them pay you so you can Live Your Dream instead of
- 22:11looking like I want to work for the person you know.
- 22:14So everything is been and so when I say I don't look like
- 22:17what I've been through, I know I'm a living and walking
- 22:20testimony because of things that happened.
- 22:23God allowed. I said, I am Joseph.
- 22:26I'm a little David, you know? Because you're not David, you
- 22:32know? If I always thought a job is it
- 22:34and then when God took me through Joseph, he said Joseph,
- 22:37but yeah, Joseph didn't even understand the call it.
- 22:43He'd understand the calling on his life.
- 22:45See, joke was grown and he knew God to be good, Jerusalem had to
- 22:49learn young. And so when I said, I said, oh,
- 22:53because I felt like that, I had sisters and siblings and she
- 22:56wants my sister's realize they really hate her.
- 22:58Everybody. I started getting these Body.
- 23:01So, you know, I'm just thankful that I started the healing
- 23:04process and that's something I encourage, you know, it ignited
- 23:10on the brink of my divorce. So this isn't I'm in my second
- 23:12marriage and so that first the book was given birth doing.
- 23:18I mean that's the opening of the book I talk about when I had
- 23:21reached that point in my marriage, but I also knew, you
- 23:26know, fast forward that there were some things that I need to
- 23:30heal from because when we don't heal from those childhood hurts
- 23:33and that trauma we carry that on into our life and it's in our
- 23:38marriages and it's in our jobs and it's on our careers.
- 23:42And I'm so thankful that I got that healing because it has and
- 23:47I think you heal for the rest of your life, right?
- 23:49I think soon as you master one thing, God show you, something
- 23:52else that you can work, right? But as a mother, you know, as a
- 23:57mother and a wife, I'm so elated that I It to to realize like you
- 24:02need help and you need help in the sense that you can't keep
- 24:06pretending what you went through.
- 24:08Didn't happen. Yeah.
- 24:10Right. You know I have a sister
- 24:11battling cancer and I told her I said, I truly believe the way
- 24:15you process. Our childhood trauma is the
- 24:18reason for this because if you don't get it out, It puts poison
- 24:23in your body. That's what people to understand
- 24:25about Stress and Anxiety. There's a part of my book where
- 24:28I talk about how unprocessed emotions impact, your health.
- 24:31It's amazing to see how different emotions, you know,
- 24:34just think about one as a parent.
- 24:36You feel that heartbreak, right? Exactly.
- 24:39I do feel it like if it's a bad news or some with your kids, you
- 24:42feel it. We'll just think about it's
- 24:45impacting your heart for real when you're nervous in your
- 24:48stress. What do you feel in your
- 24:50stomach? They say all this.
- 24:52He's begins in the good think about the Stress and Anxiety.
- 24:56So now I take my education as a healthcare administrator and in
- 25:02a healthcare administrator is the person that is studied
- 25:04Health past present and future. And then I've studied health and
- 25:08its entirety you know where psychiatrist the psychology just
- 25:11did the mind, a doctor did the body, I've collectively, and it
- 25:14don't help that. I'm sold out for Jesus.
- 25:16So I got the spiritual heart. You know what I mean?
- 25:27so, every, every time I have to give glory to God's name for my
- 25:32testimony, I mean, because that's, that's it, I don't look
- 25:36like what I've been through and I know, it's because God, he
- 25:40allows some things, but to know, he was with me because there
- 25:43were times I couldn't sleep, I couldn't sleep a lot when I was
- 25:46younger because of all the abuse, all the chaos, all that,
- 25:50and I remember calling his name, just to To sleep.
- 25:53Wow so I knew you know and it's like she always made sure the
- 25:57church bus you know, it comes to your apartments, we was on the
- 25:59bus and I recognize that peace and that love and that joy that
- 26:03I felt In God's Presence, which is why in the Army, I served on,
- 26:07he wanted use going to church back then doing all of this
- 26:11trauma and that all alone. Oh yeah.
- 26:16And I even had a I just got to get from my aunt and she wrote a
- 26:20poem in there and you know, in a creative way she was you know,
- 26:24because that's one of the things, you know, I used to ask,
- 26:26why does our family not help us. Like, why would they see her
- 26:29getting the acting of food? Everybody leave.
- 26:31Okay, like we were rubrics, we were babies.
- 26:36We were innocent, and nobody, you know, but God allowed her to
- 26:43be removed from our life and then you Think about I kill
- 26:45people, like I was a pain attic, right?
- 26:48You got to think. I all I knew I didn't play with
- 26:50dolls. I don't remember coloring.
- 26:51I don't remember like a normal. I don't remember doing anything
- 26:54the child did, right? I can't reflect back on any of
- 26:57those memories. So then one day, she's just
- 27:01taken, right? It's early in the morning,
- 27:03police is in our house and it's just a big mess because they're
- 27:06coming and getting all these kids out of the house and your
- 27:08mom and coming home. And like the next day, the pain
- 27:12just stops. So now you're like everything I
- 27:17knew to be right is wrong because you're knowing this.
- 27:22That was your life. You thought it was normal to get
- 27:24kicked. Like, if you, you know, to get
- 27:26kicked across your head and it's something happened, he was
- 27:28outside on the concrete. Use get stumped right there,
- 27:30like on-site, you thought stuff like that was normal to get
- 27:34kicked or punched or just knocked out and extension cords
- 27:37with you. No bruises all surgeries because
- 27:40of all of you thought this stuff was normal and it wasn't.
- 27:43And so you know for I became that angry I went from Billy and
- 27:48Billy to the bully, you know, because now I'm reaching out for
- 27:52help. Why?
- 27:54Because we don't understand that in our black families and our
- 27:57communities, those kids are written off as bad.
- 28:01They're written off as and they're just hurting.
- 28:04You know, those kids are hurting and we were hurting, you know,
- 28:09and I commend my aunt, she was 25 years old when she took in,
- 28:12you know, all my mother's kids. To ensure that we stay together.
- 28:15So I always call her, I always talk about us is 10:51 because,
- 28:19you know, sometimes she would try to send the kid here for the
- 28:21summer or something. So but at the most we had 11
- 28:25kids in the house. Wow.
- 28:28At 25 years old. So you know, I'm trying to call
- 28:30over a long time ago and then I got Help this woman.
- 28:36But you know, II can't say of all the children.
- 28:39I'm probably, you know, the book I made the decision because I
- 28:43remember going through the divorce the first time and I
- 28:45said Lord, why so much but suffering and why so much pain.
- 28:49And in one of my now I have a problem where I tell my story
- 28:52and I say, why me? And then at one doctor, at one
- 28:55point and not in my poem, God is saying, okay, is that it?
- 28:59And, you know, and then he said why my son?
- 29:02So he was able to tell me I was chosen, I was called I was
- 29:06allowed because he knew just like the lepers somebody was
- 29:10going to come back and say thank you.
- 29:11So, every opportunity that I have to let somebody know who
- 29:15the good, the bad, the ugly God was with me, he's kept me.
- 29:21And I have to always give Glory, it's not a title, it's not an
- 29:24education is not a degree, it's not nothing.
- 29:27I have I'm nothing without him and I try to give him glory and
- 29:32everything I say and do. And so that's, that's really why
- 29:36I chose that title because I think it just sums up.
- 29:40They want a family where I come from.
- 29:43Yes, wow, what a powerful story. That really that riddle.
- 29:47Oh, you've been through a lot, I can't even imagine, you know, I
- 29:50think about my children. I think about my grandchildren,
- 29:53I have a granddaughter. That's 14.
- 29:56I can't even imagine her having that have to go.
- 30:00Through all of this, you went through all of that and you came
- 30:03out and now you're able to tell your story when you married when
- 30:08you got married again, the Time was you totally heal at that
- 30:12time. You know what I say healed, but
- 30:16I kind of feel like this. I feel like you heal for the
- 30:20rest of your life. I think for the most part I had
- 30:23got to because I remember being in that back that Wilderness
- 30:27where God was telling me there was some things he needed.
- 30:30It's almost like the children of Israel, right?
- 30:32They came out and they thought oh we wanted to the promised
- 30:35land. He like wait a minute, we gotta
- 30:37clean you up here, right? So, depending on your levels of
- 30:45offense, that's how long, you know, that's how much cleanup
- 30:48that I got to do. And I think I did because I feel
- 30:50like, I'm like, who's like three years?
- 30:51I'm like, that I want to some stuff because guys, like and I
- 30:54need you to understand where you sit like this, you had you, and
- 30:57why you don't closed doors and why, you know, and understand.
- 31:00So now I thank God for allowing me that and I wish so many more
- 31:05women. I wish my mama, I wish her
- 31:07siblings. I wish, you know, All of my
- 31:10elderly black women and fathers would go.
- 31:13You know, realize ask God to show them themselves and allow
- 31:18him because he always works from the inside out right here on
- 31:21just dress you up here, everybody, he called, if you
- 31:24look into this word, he always did some work inside of them
- 31:29before he did or bless anything on the outside of them.
- 31:32And so, I knew that I was, you know, it's a better marriage and
- 31:39it's a very experienced and I understand a lot of things
- 31:41better. Yeah, I got my healing in
- 31:46between those and like I was saying, even with my mother, I
- 31:48couldn't I couldn't because there was, there was no
- 31:53relationship established as a child.
- 31:56I didn't have that natural intuition to like call my mom
- 31:59or, you know. So I wrote the book and like now
- 32:03I always talk to my mom every day.
- 32:05Wow. And you know, it's not because
- 32:08it's not because you know, she got her healing or she
- 32:11apologized for, are they? I made a decision to say, I
- 32:14don't want to be bound. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
- 32:18But when you start to realize, like, forgiveness is for you,
- 32:21you forgive easier. When you start to love people as
- 32:25God loves people, you'll start to see that's benefits you.
- 32:30So when I read, I couldn't stay bound because she had not gotten
- 32:35her healing. It's been, it's been a it's been
- 32:39a blessing ever since and so now I like I said, I communicate
- 32:42with her but I would love to see her get her healing, you know?
- 32:46And I tell all the time, I said the enemy has tricked us into
- 32:49feeling shame and guilt about our testimonies and what it is
- 32:53is keeping us to feed it because the word already told us.
- 32:56We can defeat the enemy with our testimony.
- 32:58But instead we be quiet, we keep it to ourselves.
- 33:03We stressed out we angry we unforgiving Harbor.
- 33:07Treat everything that goes against God's will.
- 33:10Wow. So I just I just thank him for.
- 33:14So when you see me and you see, Miss one-of-a-kind, you truly
- 33:17know, you know what it is. Yes.
- 33:23And you too, you know, that's what I teach my girls.
- 33:24I called, everybody is one-of-a-kind.
- 33:26Giant one-of-a-kind see an activity.
- 33:27It's like, do you mean we all got who all he created us?
- 33:30All different or unique, or beautiful word and that's why
- 33:34anytime I have those down moments, I always go to the
- 33:36word. Word to remind me to get that
- 33:39encouragement to get that. Reminder.
- 33:41Because, you know, and like I said, but you're beautiful.
- 33:43Why do I say? Yeah, but I've been through a
- 33:45lot. So, I have moments where I need
- 33:46to remind myself. Every man here.
- 33:57I guess I was right at 40 grand mother on my dad's side.
- 34:00She always stayed she's actually, Earl Grant.
- 34:04He was a famous singer. He's my uncle, that was her.
- 34:07There and I don't know if you know, Earl Grant was his music.
- 34:11I think because he reminds me of Nat King Cole but his his music,
- 34:15I think he's the singer on Imitation of Life.
- 34:17I think he's the theme song that says music and so like meeting
- 34:22like, when my grandmother died, I flew to La, she only had two
- 34:25sons left and I was like, my grandmother always took care of
- 34:27people. She was a traveling nurse.
- 34:29I was like, I got to go down here, make sure she gets buried,
- 34:32she had a few and so that's what I did on.
- 34:34My uncle was tired him as and then my dad is not Not mentally
- 34:38all the way there. So I said he needed somebody to
- 34:41ensure. So I went down there.
- 34:42I found her life insurance policy.
- 34:44I did the obituaries. I help them do the funeral, but
- 34:47everybody was like, you've never met your dad and your uncle and
- 34:49you're going to go down here. I said this is a faith trip.
- 34:53So it was just even amazing being where they were like,
- 34:56where did you come from? Like, we never knew.
- 34:58Sue had another baby. And, and then his girlfriend
- 35:01decided, my, but Dad's girlfriend decided that she was
- 35:04going to tell me she's like my sister a writer, you know.
- 35:07Dad wanted you to know. And then if she sent me an email
- 35:09and it said your dad found out, he was your mom was pregnant
- 35:13with you. He tried to kill you in her
- 35:14stomach. I thought, who would tell
- 35:18exactly who would tell somebody that but I'ma tell you those are
- 35:22the things and those are the time that the enemy always tries
- 35:25to take me back to that place but that's when I have to remind
- 35:29him with the words, right? I was even formed in the womb.
- 35:32God had a plan for me. Yeah, you know but it doesn't
- 35:35negate and that's why Why I tell people if it wasn't for that
- 35:39peace and that joy, and it was always something.
- 35:41When I was an Army, I was in. Good God, I was in college, I
- 35:44would live in the whole life, but I served, you know, we sung
- 35:47in the choir and we so I was always attached to church before
- 35:52I was sold out for Jesus because I knew who allowed me to go to
- 35:56sleep at night, because they say that my any said, when you got
- 35:59with me used to, I used to, I used to shake my leg and beat my
- 36:04head. So she saying that's how you put
- 36:07yourself to sleep because you was beaten so often.
- 36:11That's how you put yourself to sleep.
- 36:13I will shake my leg and beat my head.
- 36:16Wow, and it took me years to get away from beating my head to get
- 36:21to sleep because that was what I knew to be normal.
- 36:26So when I look at those statistics and I say I'm not I'm
- 36:29not diagnosed with any sort of mental, any type of mental
- 36:33illness, I have you know, sisters and brothers who have
- 36:36been diagnosed with stuff and I just thank God.
- 36:38And when I see what is the difference?
- 36:40It's only God. Wow, that is the only difference
- 36:43between what should have happened.
- 36:46What could have happened with would have happened?
- 36:48I don't know, but I thank him every day that I chose him and
- 36:52he's been keeping me every since every since.
- 36:58So, it's just in. That is, that is so so awesome.
- 37:04So awesome. Wow!
- 37:07I'm just sitting here. I just listening.
- 37:09So you met your, you Mitchell? A father for the first time when
- 37:13he was when you was how I was 40.
- 37:18You met him recently. So yes, not that long ago,
- 37:22right? So I just met him in 2019.
- 37:27Wow. Yeah and he and he, you know, he
- 37:30didn't really, he got injured in an accident and it's so it
- 37:33messed up his nervous system. But he always, you know, he just
- 37:36always say, I wanted to try to be there for you guys and I was
- 37:39not able and I don't, I don't Harbor any unforgiveness.
- 37:42So I just know, I still have all my respect for him because he
- 37:45was my father. And, you know, sometimes we
- 37:48hope, you know, grudges for against our parents and it's
- 37:51like well he and his right mind he made all these bad choices.
- 37:54What, what example, what would he have been in my Right, you
- 37:58know, so you just gotta it's your perspective.
- 38:01And so I'm just, I have a sister.
- 38:03We have the same dad and, you know, she's not her experiences
- 38:06at the same, you know. It's a lot of anger and a lot of
- 38:09forgiveness and a lot of. So, but I just chose to be.
- 38:13I just choose Joy. I choose peace.
- 38:15I choose happiness, and it's been a blessing for me, you
- 38:18know, I just closed on house a couple of months ago, I never
- 38:20imagined you saw very, you know, it's funny, I still like, in the
- 38:26midst of Covid and all this happening, I just never, you
- 38:29know, because when you go through so much trauma, I
- 38:32remember listening to interview with Keyshia Cole and Jeezy and
- 38:35they're actually singing a song and it's like they made it.
- 38:39And he said, where do you see yourself in 10, 20 years and he
- 38:42said alive and I think because I just wanted to be alive.
- 38:46I was fought on I fought. I never thought past you know
- 38:52much pads just being alive. Wow.
- 38:56So I never In a house or myself walking down the aisle.
- 39:00So I just I just I'm just so thankful that God saw fit to
- 39:05bless me and my family, and to allow me and my children to, you
- 39:09know, have a home. And yeah, we were paying home,
- 39:13prices to rent, right? But we expand somebody else.
- 39:17So now, it's just, it's truly troubling.
- 39:21You home out of God has blessed you.
- 39:23That's, that's so awesome. That's so awesome.
- 39:26You know, Tiffany, There is so many women.
- 39:30There are suffering in silence that have stores that went
- 39:34through things. More people are coming out now
- 39:37because a lot of people going to counseling, you know, that he's
- 39:41taboo. Where people, okay, client
- 39:43counseling, one good play with other people being in church and
- 39:48they even being in being in church, they still was broken
- 39:53and they still was hurt. They still was a shame.
- 39:56They never was delivered from Um, it because they felt that it
- 40:01was all their fault, and there's a lot of women today.
- 40:05I promise you, I get women that I do not know they eat that
- 40:10email me and I'll say, I just love being a grew.
- 40:14I love the women that's in your group.
- 40:16I love and courage words, you're saying and I've got a long ways
- 40:21but I'm not where I need to be. I never told my story because of
- 40:25Shame. And what would you say?
- 40:29That person there. Suffering in silence.
- 40:36They've gotten married. They see in that mirror because
- 40:41it was looking for love to my just love and they actually have
- 40:46a person to actually love them but they see themselves.
- 40:54Like you said, how you at the Rock yourself to sleep?
- 40:57Or you said a certain way you was always tense?
- 41:00They find themselves that way because they never was set free
- 41:07and to heaven. From this into the marriage.
- 41:11Now they bleed in on the man who never cut them.
- 41:16Yep, because of things that happened in the past.
- 41:22What would you say to the person that feel that they are shamed?
- 41:26Well, I don't want the other person to be known or I don't
- 41:29want nobody to know the other person did this.
- 41:32I want to keep quiet but you're not healed, right?
- 41:36Well, I would say for me, Even like when you list you mentioned
- 41:41being shamed and the guilt and you know, I had to look at
- 41:45myself and say how has this been working for me, right?
- 41:48How is me keeping this in? You know, I'm going to tell you
- 41:51when I wrote the book, you already know them.
- 41:54My family came for me, right? Because we have that mentality,
- 41:58and this is why I say to the young people.
- 41:59I said, you know, it's amazing. How something was invited into
- 42:03our race. But then they do the exact
- 42:05opposite, right? They made us feel shame about
- 42:07counseling but they go to counseling.
- 42:09Bigger campaign trips. They ripped our families apart.
- 42:12But they, that is the way they move, they teach their kids go
- 42:15to school, get an education, get married.
- 42:18Get to the very things that they taught us the opposite of, and
- 42:22their race is thriving and being blessed and being favored.
- 42:26If you look around, it's our race that still struggling with.
- 42:30So at some point I had to get to where I was and opening my book,
- 42:34I talk about being angry, with God, not really being angry with
- 42:37God but but in a Sense of, but why so much suffering?
- 42:41So much pain. I'm asking him all these
- 42:42questions. Then he said you're done and
- 42:44then he began to show me different things.
- 42:46So, what I would say is, I always promote healing, however,
- 42:49you have to get your healing. I was always writing, maybe you
- 42:54can't afford counseling, like, you have to find a way to ignite
- 43:00your healing process. Like, like I said, I feel like
- 43:02you can heal but because we're we were created in perfect like
- 43:08because Not going to reach perfection in this lifetime.
- 43:11So that means you're always, I tell you, I posted one day, I
- 43:14said you realize, that is the only solution.
- 43:16So, you're either the problem or part of the problem, you always
- 43:20be working on yourself, right? I'm always be working on
- 43:23yourself, but if you don't. So my thing is just from being
- 43:28that person I can say from personal experience of being in
- 43:32those very places. A shame never telling your story
- 43:37bound not free. And when I tell you, I have
- 43:41never felt so physically spiritually free to be.
- 43:46Even if you don't want to stand on a stage or put it in the
- 43:49book, you can put in a book like me, I didn't mention names, but
- 43:52hey, it's a lot. I got a big family.
- 43:55I got a lot of resistance, so if you say the old, did you say the
- 43:58middle? You say my mom, you said Mom
- 43:59that everybody understood, but God had to show me that my
- 44:04testimony was beyond me. You say it was not for me and
- 44:11that's when you start to think about what Jesus did on the
- 44:13cross, right? He could have any point said
- 44:16don't hit me another time, I'm not doing it but because he
- 44:20surrendered, I'll be decently to the Cross.
- 44:24He already paid a debt for us. He already paid a debt whatever
- 44:28you have to do because like like I said, the Forgiveness with no
- 44:32apology. Well, if you're looking for
- 44:35someone to apologize to take ownership, you have to change
- 44:38your perspective to see that was on the things that God did he
- 44:41showed me? I was loved and he changed my
- 44:43perspective from looking at a glass half empty to have full.
- 44:47So it's all about changing your mind.
- 44:48So if you want to continue to be the victim or that person owes
- 44:51me, see God paid that debt. We still trying to get people to
- 44:55pay a debt that God already paid.
- 44:57So if your mama never apologize if your daddy never apologized,
- 45:00guess who went to the cross and paid their debt.
- 45:04Why you get this forgiveness and you start to get the hit?
- 45:08And like you said, like I said, if you're financially able to do
- 45:11counseling, I encourage like I have a program in my mentor
- 45:14program called shut up and write.
- 45:15That means you have times where you just frustrating your
- 45:17computer and you feel like they're not understanding me,
- 45:19right? Right.
- 45:22Why'd it out, but get it out, get it out.
- 45:26And then, you know, one thing with my book, my first book Is
- 45:30before, when I was writing, I was journaling, I was Hiring
- 45:33you? It didn't have purpose.
- 45:34It wasn't going to help anyone, right?
- 45:36So then you have to take your hurt and your child and because
- 45:39goddamn waste our pain. And now you have to find purpose
- 45:42in it and you have to say, Okay, so it but it all works for you.
- 45:46The enemy is just the enemies already been defeated, right?
- 45:50And when you learn that, we don't were in the flesh, we were
- 45:52in the spirit. So what I started looking at
- 45:56things different, so my part had to change.
- 45:58My mind, had to change, my words, had to change, they got
- 46:01to be in alignment. Wait, so when you begin to speak
- 46:05things, even with getting the house and get in paying off my
- 46:08car and everything I began to speak, I began to change I felt
- 46:11when people call I begin to change, I began to ask so
- 46:14everything. So then when I fast forward and
- 46:16said, we just got a house in the midst of a crazy where I know
- 46:18couples met, my husband hadn't been married two years and it
- 46:21was couples that have started the process and a lot of people
- 46:24that did one able to get a house Knew that we had prepared, I
- 46:28knew that my healing, I knew a lot of that was a part of the
- 46:32blessings that had. So when I had I had to look at
- 46:36all of the different. So you have to change your heart
- 46:39in your mind from the victim. And then who is it going to
- 46:43benefit? Do you want God to get Glory, or
- 46:46are you wearing about offending, your mother for finding your
- 46:48sister? Because now, you're looking at
- 46:51God is taking that in blessing, so many more people than you
- 46:56ever to my Imagine that every time you speak, that's more
- 46:59healing. You're getting, every time you
- 47:01write every opportunity, you have to get it out, you have to
- 47:11get it out. You have to find like Miss
- 47:14Janice is group, the mentoring and marriage like be and we have
- 47:18to find and create safe spaces where people feel safe to share,
- 47:23you know, safe to share. So whether it's a counselor, you
- 47:26know, I didn't have cancer because I never opened up to a
- 47:28counselor, but God is a counselor, right, right?
- 47:32He is the best healer. He's a bit and so I didn't have
- 47:35a counselor, I had Jesus. Right.
- 47:39And so I had to have that authentic experience with him
- 47:42because he was the mother and father I didn't have.
- 47:45So I just encourage, you know, get selfish about your
- 47:47blessings. Realize this healing that you
- 47:50need this forgiveness, you need to give it's for you.
- 47:54So now you can release those people.
- 47:56They live in your heart, rent-free they live in your mind
- 47:59room three a lot of don't even know the incapable so they don't
- 48:04even know. They were they may know but they
- 48:06don't got to a place where they They told they self.
- 48:09I got in. Forgave me I moved past and you
- 48:11still stuck with your walking around down.
- 48:14Wow, that's powerful. It's just that, you know, the
- 48:20the it was just a made-up mind. I had a mate of mine and I made
- 48:23of hard to say, I didn't want to continue to struggle.
- 48:26I don't want to continue down this path.
- 48:28Lord showed me me. And that's the biggest thing we
- 48:31got to stop looking. Yes, I know the things that
- 48:34happened to me and you heard my testimony, there were some awful
- 48:37things that happen to me, but then I began to ask God to show
- 48:41me me, and show me the purpose and what Hugh allowed.
- 48:45Me to go through. But when I tell you it's the
- 48:47benefits for me, I'm like that piece.
- 48:49I can go to bed, my husband so much, every time you hit the
- 48:51pillow, you go to sleep. You know when I think about the
- 48:55fact that I could sleep when I was a little sad, you couldn't
- 48:58sleep and stress and different stuff you like.
- 49:05And I'm like, thank you, Lord, that I can sleep at night.
- 49:08So I've not even in the material, take away the material
- 49:10blessings, just the peace and the joy in the That you have
- 49:16I'ma tell you who is the dr. Miles right.
- 49:18Monroe say die. Empty and I say die free.
- 49:22So use are your gifts. Make sure you don't want to take
- 49:26all your gifts to the grade but that's three.
- 49:29And how do you die free? Christ, pay the debt.
- 49:34He paid the debt that you trying to get your mama to pay.
- 49:37Yo, daddy to pay. Yo, sex offender.
- 49:39I was set up in high school. I know and right by my friend's
- 49:42brother. So I've experienced it, but you
- 49:45got to release them. Why?
- 49:46Because God paid that day. And then ask him to now he'll
- 49:51and work on you because it's for you.
- 49:54So, when I began to, I had to change.
- 49:55My whole mindset is hey, wait a minute, this healing is
- 49:58forgiveness with me. Wow, we thinking because you
- 50:03giving them power they got power over you, take your power back.
- 50:09When you speak on these things, when you forgive when you guys
- 50:13say God help me try to love and how to understand how
- 50:16compassion. And if that person walk in the
- 50:17room, I'm not even impacted like that.
- 50:20I ain't got no anger in my heart.
- 50:22I'm not going to look at him crazy.
- 50:23I'm not gonna do help me. Give me peace to wear.
- 50:25What do you say? Well, you can ask him to bless
- 50:27your enemies. Matter of fact, use me to bless
- 50:29my enemy why. Wow.
- 50:32Can you imagine? People met at this point.
- 50:40What's your excuse? Mmm, mosquitoes, when you hear
- 50:44stories like mine, when you see stuff like that, and they didn't
- 50:47have anything. No love.
- 50:50No nothing. I hear people that old when I
- 50:52was five and I'm not negating because all of that is a
- 50:55violation. Those are spiritual violations.
- 50:58Yeah. What is it on our Kelly?
- 51:02All of my heart goes out for them.
- 51:03But it's some point we are responsible and we got to be
- 51:08responsible because you waiting on them people for the rest of
- 51:11your life and they just like we said your power.
- 51:13So I encourage them to reclaim their power.
- 51:16Look at it differently. Look at it.
- 51:19Like it's for You look at as you're getting your your intent
- 51:22because God deals with matters of the heart.
- 51:23My intent is not to be to expose you to hurt you and all that,
- 51:28but it's also to give glory to God.
- 51:32Yes. Yes.
- 51:33So that's what your testimony. That's what your healing is
- 51:36doing. Its reclaim your power and
- 51:38giving God glory. It'll work out for you good,
- 51:40too. So that's what I can say cuz I
- 51:41can have honest conversations with my daughters.
- 51:44I still can't have on and conversation with some of the
- 51:47elderly women in my family because they have It got their
- 51:50healing. Well, I can smell my daughter.
- 51:52I love you, and you're beautiful but you're wrong.
- 51:56Right? Right.
- 51:57Because there's no, there's no, there's no I if I'm wrong I
- 52:01apologize to them. If there's something they
- 52:04experience I say mama mama got it wrong.
- 52:07Let's relearning, that's relearn some things?
- 52:09I talked to some things I told him they need people.
- 52:11I taught him how to suck it up and keep it moving and I'm
- 52:13trying to reverse. We do need people, you know,
- 52:17because, and I told her that not know Because that's how I
- 52:20learned how to deal in life. So I feel like you never get too
- 52:23old. I don't care how old your
- 52:24children aren't he was when you've offended your brother and
- 52:29sister he didn't say if they was 10 or if they was 15 of they was
- 52:3220. So when you offend you you go to
- 52:34them, he tell you before you bring your gift to the offer and
- 52:37Altar. And you know you got out with
- 52:38your brother sister. Why go fix it and then come
- 52:43back. So there you go.
- 52:44I'm like who would make this investment in church?
- 52:46All these years and then count. Exactly.
- 52:50So what makes down make you pay? Make it work for you, make you I
- 52:55didn't go through all this for nothing.
- 52:57Why is that? So it has been a pleasure.
- 53:02I just hope something that was said or you know, it encourages
- 53:06and inspires someone to reclaim their power in and live.
- 53:10He didn't create us the fight. He said he'll fight our battles.
- 53:13I know because I was fighting. I had to learn how to control my
- 53:16hands. I went through a period where I
- 53:20was testing it by some old hippie.
- 53:21I know, back in the day, you would fight that was the process
- 53:24of learning self control. You don't always have to respond
- 53:27to react, you know, like you used to, and he and I fought
- 53:30because I, they follow me. So, all I knew was the right.
- 53:36Say you fight, if you find who find your battles, why is that?
- 53:42So yeah. Yeah, it's so much fun.
- 53:45Even God, he's so amazing. He's so sorry.
- 53:47He's so whole he's dope, you know, he strategic, he has a
- 53:50sense of humor. I just love him so much and I'm
- 53:52thankful, you know, just to be able to have a relationship with
- 53:57him. Wow, that is awesome.
- 54:00Tiffany, I have certainly. So I feel like we just missed
- 54:04it. I feel like we just missed
- 54:06sitting across from each other sitting in my living room.
- 54:09We just been chatting and when they don't.
- 54:13These don't happen, you're going to take your Sip and chat on the
- 54:16road and your women meijin and marriage and you won't have
- 54:19conference and we going to get to, you know, we don't get to
- 54:21link up with the sisters. That's something I look forward
- 54:24to. Oh wow.
- 54:26Wow. I appreciate it.
- 54:28That's what I asked you. That's actually what I've been
- 54:31praying about because you know, I do travel agent, I retired,
- 54:34I've been retired exactly 10 years now and then I start doing
- 54:39the women major and marriage because I've always been
- 54:42passionate about mayor. I married my junior, high school
- 54:45sweetheart. And last month, we've been
- 54:48married 44 years and I just met a girl.
- 54:53Besides, I was trying to get a hold of and you were being born.
- 54:59But you know, that's encouraging to me because I'm trying to
- 55:02start a marriage group now, just kind of like in the community
- 55:04where we can, you know, have couples come together because US
- 55:07general couples, we need the mentorship, you know, we need
- 55:10more. We didn't have those examples
- 55:12going up of Saint marriages and stuff.
- 55:15So I really want that community that, you know, that Sisterhood
- 55:19that Brotherhood praying for our marriages, our spouses and our
- 55:22children. Yeah.
- 55:24And I think I feel you definitely be good for that.
- 55:28You would definitely good there. Yeah we gon crime it for you.
- 55:31We going to claim we're going to explain.
- 55:35I'm here thinking next year of some type of look.
- 55:38I've done Workshop before butter doing a like a little Retreat.
- 55:43I do not something, I'm just praying about it a little while
- 55:45being prayed with you get together something
- 55:49meet-and-greet something, you know what it is.
- 55:53It's been so awesome here in your story and your entire
- 55:58store, I As some of you store in this, here you go into a store
- 56:03and just knowing that God still has more for you.
- 56:08The best is yet to come and I admire you being young.
- 56:14I'll just imagine, I'm 62 when you get to be my age.
- 56:18What will you be doing, girl? Wow, wow, how many, how many
- 56:26people were you have impact bad? Then, wow.
- 56:31Awesome, Tiffany, I don't see you back to him.
- 56:34I don't get it twisted long as they get back to him, like, I'm
- 56:37like, okay, scared of nobody, but God.
- 56:41Yes, yes. Yes I am.
- 56:43I am so proud of you all so proud.
- 56:46When I saw your clothes on your house just just proud just
- 56:50really, really proud and how you Mentor young girls and how you
- 56:55set the standard for your girls and then you have a young girl.
- 56:59That you're raising and then I saw the other day, she was bacon
- 57:03and and I felt the joy that you feel seeing ever do that.
- 57:11It's a blessing, it's a blessing but thank you for this
- 57:14opportunity and your mentorship and your example because you
- 57:18know we need to and especially like I said with marriage.
- 57:21I'm like you, I'm in favor of marriage and I really want to
- 57:25see. So what you're doing, it's a
- 57:27blessing. And even though I did And I've
- 57:29never met you, it's just been a blessing me to you, you know,
- 57:32through social media, and being able to attend or women,
- 57:36majoring in marriage and listening to your podcast.
- 57:39It's all been a blessing. So I thank you more more than
- 57:43welcome. And ladies, my queen.

- 58:16Janice Vance at gmail.com, but the women majoring in podcast
- 58:21was was birthed from my women and major Marriage group that I
- 58:29began to grow and just begin to when I wrote my book, that was
- 58:34something that wasn't playing. But when God has something you
- 58:38to do, and you build beat and do that and then it was a park, a
- 58:42so this is just episode 15, I'm just getting started only due to
- 58:47a month so far. And I had said that, I
- 58:49eventually wanted to once a month interview, a young lady
- 58:55who want to tell her story. Spare not just Maori women,
- 58:59those that engage of those, in their seasonal waiting, or those
- 59:03women that just single to encourage them, because that's
- 59:08what the group is all about inspiring married women to
- 59:12continue to major in marriage. I've been married, 44 years and
- 59:1844 years. I am still majoring, I have not
- 59:22graduated. I have not graduated.
- 59:25I'm still learning because I'm I'm not the same person.
- 59:29I was he not the same person. He was 20 years ago, 15 years
- 59:33ago. And that's not a bad thing that
- 59:36we haven't graduated because we that give us something to work
- 59:40on the strive for and we are striving for excellent.
- 59:45Hey, maybe it's something. I'm married to be an example to
- 59:49other people because there are so many marriages out there just
- 59:53on life support and, and, and, and Bear.
- 59:57I live breathing and want to let people know.
- 1:00:00And young people who don't want to get married, they choose to
- 1:00:04shack up or not, get married, whatever.
- 1:00:07Let them know that marriage is a covenant is a blessing.
- 1:00:11So that's what that's what actually inspired me with all of
- 1:00:16this. I Pray ladies that you all have
- 1:00:18been blessed with you mean Miss Tiffany one-of-a-kind and don't
