- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I I know we're we're just coming off one relationship thing, but I I have to toss this in because this is perfect.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: I I I can relate where this guy's coming from.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: F first of all, number one, the honesty that this man delivers is on point and needs to become more a common practice with relationships.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Because this time of year, the likelihood is even if you've had an incredibly busy week and straining and stressful at work, you know your woman's got plans.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, absolutely.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: And this woman really experienced it.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I think her reaction really stems from the fact that she didn't like that, even though y'all want honesty, she didn't like hearing the honesty.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: This is what happened.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: My husband just informed me that he's had a very long, hard week at work, and so he just wants to enjoy the weekend in a clean house with some delicious home cooked meals.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: Um, and I said that's great because I know that his mother's gonna love having him for a few days.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: I love that so much.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: I yes, I used to say this same thing to an old, old, old, old, old, old, old, old relationship when it would be the uh a little bit of an imbalance of things as far as that goes.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: I'm like, homie, I work just the same amount of hours as you do.
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: Probably more.
- 1:18SPEAKER_02: If not more.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: So you can also clean the bathroom and make some soup on a Sunday.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: And yeah, we're going to a pumpkin patch, okay?
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: That's what we're gonna do.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, God, that was great.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Okay, so now uh if you guys haven't heard this, this is pretty cool.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: I realize we are a show of quite a few different generations melding together.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's the cool part about this.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: From seven to seventy.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: But yes, pretty much.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Uh, but this is are you TRL generation?
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: I am.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Okay, so then this is there's gonna be a lot of people that that this will uh hit home with.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: TRL, yes, with Carson Daly, is doing a small comeback.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: The uh reunion is being produced for Roku.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: So if you got Roku, they they got a bunch of channels.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Uh with uh appearances reportedly filmed already involving people like Jojo.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Remember JoJo?
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Yes, Tule.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: You got Maya.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, uh Case of the X.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Yep, yeah.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Uh Ashanti, just here.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Nelly, just here, JC Chazi.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Woo-woo! Okay.

- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: And then other special guests, uh, and this will drop in 2027.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: I don't know if this excites you.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: I mean, it might be a one-off, you might, you know, check it out.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: I I does it excite me.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: Did you see the reaction when Nellie came on stage?
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Well, that's true.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: Everyone was excited.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Even if you, you're right, even if you just watch a little bit, it's a little bit of your like after school nostalgia.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, so I was not the TRL generation.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: I was already, I was into my career.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: I was doing, you know, uh uh living my real life at that point.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: But I do remember TRL being everything, everywhere for the longest time.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: What was yours?
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: Depending on your generation, and you guys can text this.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Were you a TRL generation?
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Were you okay?
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: In my in my case, it was cartoons, but very specific.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: It was Transformers, He-Man, and then of course this one right here.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Yo, Joe! They'll fight for freedom wherever there's trouble.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: G.I.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Joe was there.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: This was my life as a kid, and your brothers probably.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: If I was eight, that's what I was watching.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: But once I became like 13, 14, 15.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Don't judge, I probably held on to it way too long.
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: I was watching like Limp Biscuit Nookie on TRL.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: And they'd be like, for the 65th week in a row, number one.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying, I mean, I had uh I had my thing, but wait, I'll give you a couple others.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Uh, were you uh a Jerry Springer in the after school show?
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: I think mine was Jerry then TRL, and I I don't know if it's I just needed that drama.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: And I loved when he would give his final thought of the day.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, remember after all the violence, he'd try to come in and be soft.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: Yes, and what was his sign-off?
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: That's my opinion.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: What's yours?
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: No, it was like something about like Coleman.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: Uh wait, wait, wait.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: Jerry's final, hmm, hold on a second.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Uh or was it grandma's soap operas?
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, my mom.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: She was a days of our lives and general hospital person till the day she died.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: Was that oh, okay, here's what Jerry Springer would say.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Luke and Laura were still having problems on their deathbed and she watched their wedding.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: Right after school that was on?
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Three o'clock in the afternoon was GH.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: Uh Jerry Springer, every single day after his final thought, he would say, Take care of yourself and each other.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: Man, I love Jerry Springer.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: What that's the dude right there.
- 4:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right.
- 4:49SPEAKER_02: He was giving out that good advice.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: These are your choices after school, uh, back in the day when you were young.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: TRL, was it the cartoons, but the specific ones, I'm talking like those action ones, not like Looney tunes.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Um Jerry Springer, or what, or was it the soaps?
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: What what because everybody this everybody's got something.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Except for now.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Now you just scroll and you're like, you know, I don't get it.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: Well, and wait, wait, I'm gonna add one more.
- 5:13SPEAKER_02: Because don't forget about MTV VH1.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: It might have just been video video.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Uh because TRL was on MTV, but then it would go into videos all afterwards.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Or no, was TRL in the era where they were doing all the dramas at that point.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: You had uh the real life, you had uh what was that remote control show?
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: You're thinking of real world.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Real world.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: What did I say?
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: Real remote control was way before that.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Okay, remote control.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Okay, that but that was like their first what was yours?
