Governor McKee is reportedly dropping Joseph Shekarchi from the Supreme Court shortlist, with an announcement expected noon today. Despite a recent court victory dismissing ethics complaints over his “revolving door” move from House Speaker to judge, the Ethics Commission is appealing that ruling — and the Judicial Nominating Commission didn’t give him their full backing.
