- 0:14Speaker 1: you guys for being late. But I have been participating
- 0:19Speaker 1: in the eighteenth the twenty one day Challenge. I was
- 0:24Speaker 1: not able to post or to create day number eighteen
- 0:29Speaker 1: because I have been in transition. But I am yet participating.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I had prepared my lesson already, So we just go
- 0:38Speaker 1: ahead and jump in, and I'm just gonna share. Y'all know,
- 0:43Speaker 1: I'm always owing. I may be a little delayed, but
- 0:47Speaker 1: one thing about God is he never denied me. He
- 0:49Speaker 1: never denied me an opportunity to share his goodness. He
- 0:53Speaker 1: never denied me an opportunity to do those things that
- 0:55Speaker 1: He has called me to. So y'all, yet I am here,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I am here. So I am going back to day eighteen.
- 1:04Speaker 1: We're on Day eighteen. Day eighteen was real time engagement.
- 1:08Speaker 1: And I want to get a shot out to Milagros Rameros,
- 1:11Speaker 1: who has constantly every day on time, on point with
- 1:16Speaker 1: her posting and participating, even in the midst of all
- 1:21Speaker 1: that she's going through and dealing with.
- 1:23Speaker 2: She is yet still posting.
- 1:25Speaker 1: She is yet being about her brand, She's yet putting
- 1:28Speaker 1: her brand out there in front of individuals. So I
- 1:31Speaker 1: want to give her a shot out on today shoutouts
- 1:36Speaker 1: rimeros for doing all that you do to bring awareness
- 1:41Speaker 1: to your brand and being consistent. I tell you, she
- 1:45Speaker 1: is truly when they say you are your brand, she
- 1:48Speaker 1: is truly a representation of her brand. She never quits
- 1:52Speaker 1: no matter what comes at her, She presses and I'm
- 1:55Speaker 1: grateful on today. So y'all, I'm gonna jump right on in.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Today's lesson is on real time engagement. Real time engagement,
- 2:05Speaker 1: So welcome today eighteen of our Visibility brand Journey. Today
- 2:10Speaker 1: we're going to turn our attention to real time engagement,
- 2:15Speaker 1: an exciting way to energize to your online community, making
- 2:19Speaker 1: your brand unforgettable today's fast paid social world. Interacting with
- 2:25Speaker 1: your audience live, whether through giveaways, polls, contests, or creates
- 2:30Speaker 1: a energy of excitement and connection that stripted post alone
- 2:37Speaker 1: can not match. Some of us, we go over and
- 2:40Speaker 1: we google, and we use these chat gpis and all
- 2:44Speaker 1: this stuff, and we post all these different posts. No,
- 2:48Speaker 1: people want to know who you are. They want to
- 2:50Speaker 1: engage with you live. They want to get to know you.
- 2:54Speaker 1: They don't want to get to know your content that
- 2:56Speaker 1: you're posting. They want the engagement we like, they would
- 3:01Speaker 1: rather be on your live panels than to see your videos.
- 3:05Speaker 1: If you be honest, be honest with yourself. Imagine the
- 3:08Speaker 1: three of an audience, what they feel when they can comment,
- 3:13Speaker 1: get when their comments get noticed in real time. So
- 3:16Speaker 1: when you're on the panels and you're being in your
- 3:19Speaker 1: live and you recognize your audience, y'all, it it does
- 3:25Speaker 1: them good when you answer their questions, when they're able
- 3:30Speaker 1: to ask questions. And then especially when you're giving away something,
- 3:35Speaker 1: who is not who don't want to give who's not
- 3:39Speaker 1: ready to receive something. This day, it's all about learning
- 3:43Speaker 1: why and how real time engagement can level up your
- 3:47Speaker 1: brand and how to harness it responsibly. Because we know
- 3:52Speaker 1: some people out here they not utilizing these social media
- 3:56Speaker 1: sites the right way. They spreading reddics and they spend hatred,
- 4:01Speaker 1: and they spreading lives, and they're doing all the stuff
- 4:04Speaker 1: instead of engaging and utilizing it to bring awareness to
- 4:08Speaker 1: their brands. So today the core lesson is why does
- 4:13Speaker 1: real time engagement matter? Three reasons why? It builds a
- 4:19Speaker 1: strong connection. Live unscripted moments create genuine buns. People want
- 4:25Speaker 1: to know that you make mistakes too. They see us
- 4:27Speaker 1: all the time we own these lives. We have a podcast.
- 4:31Speaker 1: They see how sometimes the Internet want to act up.
- 4:33Speaker 1: They see how sometimes we don't have strips. So we're
- 4:37Speaker 1: going off of each other. We're going off of each other.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Your audience feels seen in value when they can participate
- 4:45Speaker 1: instantly rather than passively consuming content.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Y'all, they don't want to read your content.
- 4:52Speaker 1: They want to interact with you, So utilize the opportunity
- 4:55Speaker 1: to go live and have conversations with those that support you.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Increase visibility and reach when you host interactive elements like
- 5:05Speaker 1: live posts, giveaways, panel discussions, and you tag individuals, you
- 5:12Speaker 1: invite them, You invite new eyes to your page. You
- 5:15Speaker 1: invite people to come be a part of what I'm doing.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And then and you ask them to share? O't you
- 5:20Speaker 1: ask them to be a part. Every tag or share
- 5:23Speaker 1: helps your content to reach potential new community members and customers.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You also get instant feedback. In insight, real time engagement
- 5:33Speaker 1: is like a gold mine. You can get immediate feedback.
- 5:37Speaker 1: You don't have to wait to someone post a review.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You don't have to wait to know. You get it instantly.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You learn what your audience loves, what they care about,
- 5:48Speaker 1: what they need, and it helps you refine your brand
- 5:51Speaker 1: to better serve them. So engage live with your audience.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Three pros to real time and game builds, community and loyalty.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Live interaction sends a signal to your audence no matter,
- 6:07Speaker 1: you're not just the number.
- 6:09Speaker 2: You matter.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You're not just the number. This increased trust and keeps
- 6:14Speaker 1: followers coming back. Let you to us know that they matter,
- 6:18Speaker 1: let them know that you care. Not only that live interaction.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Live engagement drives your algorithm boost. Social platforms favor real
- 6:29Speaker 1: time engagement. You hear that social media platforms favor real
- 6:36Speaker 1: time engagements. Even though we're doing all these posts, it
- 6:39Speaker 1: favors real time engagement. People want to connect. The more
- 6:44Speaker 1: active your live posts are, the further you reach, giving
- 6:48Speaker 1: your brand at extra momentum. Just like we at y'all
- 6:52Speaker 1: those that are on TikTok, we actually to tap the screen.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Tap the screen. It helps to get it out in
- 6:56Speaker 1: the atmorithm. But it does not matter even if you
- 6:58Speaker 1: don't tap the screen. The fact that we go live,
- 7:01Speaker 1: the fact that we constantly go live, the fact that
- 7:03Speaker 1: we have consistency, the fact that we are constantly doing
- 7:06Speaker 1: things allow us to get out there too, So sometimes
- 7:09Speaker 1: it doesn't matter about the taping other screen. See a
- 7:11Speaker 1: lot of people will come into your live and they'll
- 7:14Speaker 1: just sit there there and they will watch. They will
- 7:16Speaker 1: take in and consume all of the things that you're
- 7:18Speaker 1: giving out, but they won't participate and try to help
- 7:21Speaker 1: you get out in the adminalism like it's hurting them.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It's not hurting. All they have to do is tap.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It's not taking any energy away, it's not doing anything
- 7:28Speaker 1: that's causing them to have to pay anything. I'm not
- 7:31Speaker 1: asking for gifts or anything. But the more you go live,
- 7:35Speaker 1: since y'all know that we're gonna have those supporters that
- 7:38Speaker 1: truly don't support, but they cause themselves followers and supporters,
- 7:41Speaker 1: but they're just there to see really what's going on.
- 7:44Speaker 1: But those that truly truly engage, those that truly truly
- 7:48Speaker 1: participate in your lives and in your platform, they'll tap
- 7:55Speaker 1: that screen. They'll do whatever it's necessary to help get
- 7:58Speaker 1: it out. But if they don't knowing that you are
- 8:00Speaker 1: doing what you need to do to get out in
- 8:03Speaker 1: the actmorithm. Because why you're going live, you're and you're
- 8:07Speaker 1: doing it consistently. Like you'll see some of these out
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm on TikTok as well, and as I've been over
- 8:14Speaker 1: on TikTok, you'll see some of these people they go
- 8:17Speaker 1: live as if it was their normal job, and some
- 8:20Speaker 1: of them this is probably is their job. But they
- 8:22Speaker 1: better be looking for something because TikTok is shutting down
- 8:25Speaker 1: September the first, it has been confirmed. So if you
- 8:28Speaker 1: don't have another outlet, a backup plan, you better be
- 8:32Speaker 1: looking for one over the next couple of weeks because
- 8:34Speaker 1: TikTok is shutting down on September the first, and they're
- 8:39Speaker 1: gonna reopen I think in March or January of twenty
- 8:44Speaker 1: twenty six, but it will not be TikTok. It's gonna
- 8:47Speaker 1: be up on the meta. And we know who meta is.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Meta is Facebook and all those other other things that's
- 8:53Speaker 1: up on the meta, so who knows. Find you another
- 8:57Speaker 1: platform and stay consistent in the things that you're doing.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Consistency is key.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I've been telling people for months and weeks to check
- 9:06Speaker 1: out substack. Check out substack because a lot of the
- 9:10Speaker 1: things that you're doing here on TikTok you also can
- 9:13Speaker 1: do on substacks, and it's free and you can set
- 9:17Speaker 1: your own you can set up your own monetarization. If
- 9:21Speaker 1: you want to be monetized, you can set up your
- 9:23Speaker 1: own monetialization by setting up subscriptions. And you can also
- 9:27Speaker 1: have a podcast section. You have a section that you
- 9:32Speaker 1: can use as a newsletter. There's so many different things
- 9:37Speaker 1: that you can do over there, So y'all utilize these opportunities.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Utilize these opportunities. Three cons of real time engagement, technical glitches,
- 9:48Speaker 1: and unpredictable. We all know that every time we go live,
- 9:52Speaker 1: there is a possibility that there is going to be
- 9:56Speaker 1: something that is going to stop us, whether it be
- 9:59Speaker 1: the technology that we're using, connection problems, lacking your guests
- 10:04Speaker 1: may not show up. If you got to guess, it's
- 10:06Speaker 1: always something. But if we prepare ahead of time, stay
- 10:11Speaker 1: prepared in case these things happen, have backup plans. You
- 10:15Speaker 1: always should have a plan A, a plan B, and
- 10:18Speaker 1: then sometimes you got to have a plan C, especially
- 10:20Speaker 1: when you know what happens, and especially once you see
- 10:24Speaker 1: and you see what is happening as you continue to
- 10:28Speaker 1: go live. Another cun is the pressure to perform. Being
- 10:35Speaker 1: live can be a nerve wrecking experience. Some people don't
- 10:38Speaker 1: like to be live. They get nervous, they get stage frped.
- 10:42Speaker 1: But knowing that you can do this, especially for new
- 10:46Speaker 1: brands and small business owns, they don't want to make mistakes.
- 10:50Speaker 1: They feel awkward, and then there's silence. Don't worry about it,
- 10:54Speaker 1: keep pressing, keep doing it, keep showing up.
- 10:57Speaker 2: And if you got to.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Practice offline, practice offline, because practice makes perfect.
- 11:02Speaker 2: And then understand this too. The people that you.
- 11:05Speaker 1: See that you may think is doing it all perfectly
- 11:08Speaker 1: and all so well, Look, we ain't always been on
- 11:11Speaker 1: here doing this stuff the way. Look I make mistakes today,
- 11:14Speaker 1: I still make mistakes, but it don't stop me. I
- 11:18Speaker 1: go back, I listen, I try to improve each time.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I try to improve and understand risk of low participation.
- 11:27Speaker 2: It's okay because you.
- 11:29Speaker 1: See even in on tiptop, you don't see people come in.
- 11:34Speaker 1: They gonna come in, they're gonna jump off. They're gonna
- 11:35Speaker 1: come in, they're gonna jump off. They're just coming to
- 11:37Speaker 1: see what's going on. They may not stay the whole time,
- 11:40Speaker 1: and then you may have some that will come they'll
- 11:42Speaker 1: see what you're doing for a little while, they're gonna
- 11:43Speaker 1: support somebody else. They'll come back. They'll just jump in
- 11:45Speaker 1: and out, but it's okay. It's not about it's not
- 11:49Speaker 1: about the numbers. It's about you doing what you need
- 11:51Speaker 1: to do to be consistent. Once you build that consistency,
- 11:55Speaker 1: you get out there in the forore you page and
- 11:58Speaker 1: all the different algorithms things, you'll start seeing the difference.
- 12:03Speaker 1: But you have to be persistent. So how can we
- 12:07Speaker 1: apply real time engagement to your brand? This is how
- 12:11Speaker 1: you can apply real time engagement to your brand. Schedule
- 12:17Speaker 1: live sessions for many giveaways, polls and contests. Y'all regularly
- 12:24Speaker 1: keep your brand before your audience, always having something that
- 12:29Speaker 1: you can give away. Give something to your audience. It
- 12:33Speaker 1: would bring them back and then they will invite people
- 12:35Speaker 1: to come and be apart. It doesn't take a lot
- 12:38Speaker 1: to give away stuff it ahead of time to build anticipation.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Y'all want to encourage people to participate in your lives.
- 12:49Speaker 1: So talk about your lives when you're going on somebody
- 12:52Speaker 1: else's platform.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Talk about what you're doing on your platform.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Let people know that you are an option too, that
- 12:57Speaker 1: they can come and support the things that you're doing. Flyers,
- 13:00Speaker 1: share it out, emails, newsletters, whatever you can do to
- 13:05Speaker 1: get your brand out there and to get people to
- 13:08Speaker 1: engage in your live engagement. Have clear rules, a simple
- 13:15Speaker 1: entry process like tag a friend, answer answer the question,
- 13:20Speaker 1: ask them to answer a question, Put a question up
- 13:22Speaker 1: there to.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Start the conversation.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Engage directly with your audience when you arelive. Don't get
- 13:30Speaker 1: so consumed into the live that you forget about the
- 13:34Speaker 1: reason why you arelive, and forget about those that are supporting.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Shout out names, thank them for their participation. Respond to
- 13:43Speaker 1: comments in the moment. Don't wait until you get off
- 13:46Speaker 1: the live and go back respond to them. If that
- 13:49Speaker 1: mean you got to take a break from talking about
- 13:52Speaker 1: whatever you're talking about to go and say, let me
- 13:54Speaker 1: scroll down and let me welcome everybody that's come in.
- 13:57Speaker 2: While I was talking.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Y'all. Engage engagement, letting your audience and those that support.
- 14:03Speaker 2: You know that they matter.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Wrap up, Wrap it all up with gratitude, always thinking,
- 14:11Speaker 1: always sharing the winners, Tease about your upcoming events, and
- 14:16Speaker 1: just keep your audience involved and excited. Why relevance meets
- 14:24Speaker 1: your audience in the moment. It shows your brand its
- 14:27Speaker 1: vibrant and responsive. It builds trust. Honest live interaction build authenticness.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Making people more likely to support you.
- 14:39Speaker 1: People want to know the real, genuine youth, and they
- 14:43Speaker 1: want to be able to trust you.
- 14:45Speaker 2: They want to be able to come to.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Your platform and say, I know that they're speaking the truth.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I know that they are doing what they're supposed to be.
- 14:53Speaker 1: And not only if you do this, y'all, it will
- 14:57Speaker 1: help with your growth. Each is an opportunity that you
- 15:02Speaker 1: can multiply your audience and turn casual followers into loyal fans.
- 15:08Speaker 1: We don't want just casual followers.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Just like these.
- 15:11Speaker 1: People keep coming to my page want me to buy
- 15:14Speaker 1: some some followers. I don't want to buy followers. I
- 15:17Speaker 1: want genuine followers. I want people to follow and support
- 15:20Speaker 1: the things that I do because they are in interested
- 15:24Speaker 1: and because they're engaged, and because they want to support,
- 15:27Speaker 1: not because.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I pay for a following. I pay no.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I want genuine following. I want genuine supporters because in
- 15:39Speaker 1: a world overflowing with schedule posts and static content, real
- 15:46Speaker 1: time engagement with your brand, your brand chances to be
- 15:51Speaker 1: truly unforgettable. It gives your brand an opportunity to be remembered.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It's lively, it's human, and it speaks directly to your community.
- 16:05Speaker 1: It's a little crazy, it's a little scary sometimes, but
- 16:09Speaker 1: with every poll, every question or giveaway, you open the
- 16:13Speaker 1: door for creativity, growth, and stronger relationships. Y'all take this challenge.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I want you to this week or today if you
- 16:24Speaker 1: have time, host a many live events, welcome your fathers
- 16:28Speaker 1: into conversation and watch your brand come to life. Engage, engage,
- 16:35Speaker 1: do not wait for perfection, because y'all, we're not perfect
- 16:39Speaker 1: people and there's never gonna be anything perfect about what
- 16:43Speaker 1: we're doing.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 16:44Speaker 1: We are perfectly flawged, so there's gonna be mistakes. But
- 16:48Speaker 1: guess what we learn from those mistakes.
- 16:50Speaker 2: We keep doing it. We don't quit. We just keep
- 16:53Speaker 2: doing it until we get it.
- 16:55Speaker 1: We get it down packed, we get it to our
- 16:58Speaker 1: liking because again, it will never be perfect. But start
- 17:01Speaker 1: with genuine enthusiasm and let connections lead the way. Are
- 17:09Speaker 1: you ready to go lie and make your brand shine?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Are you ready to step into real time engagement and
- 17:17Speaker 1: see what magic sparks are lying ahead?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Y'all?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Engage with your followers, Engage with those that support you. Okay,
- 17:29Speaker 1: just wanted to drop those nuggets. If y'all want to
- 17:31Speaker 1: see the full lesson your course, y'all can go over

- 18:39Speaker 1: going to be published inside of that anthology. I'm excited
- 18:42Speaker 1: about that because I've been submitting poetry to them for
