- 0:11Speaker 1: All right, it's one leg up on the Big Game
- 0:14Speaker 1: once again. I'm Alex Garrett on One leg Up with
- 0:17Speaker 1: Alex Garrett, and today I want to tell you, with tickpick,
- 0:22Speaker 1: if you're still about going to the game, by the way,
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Big Game, the super Bowl, you can with a
- 0:28Speaker 1: five hundred dollars savings that's right, for nearly five hundred
- 0:31Speaker 1: dollars off, you can go to the Super Bowl. Min
- 0:36Speaker 1: say that, or should I say this Big Game through tickpick.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna drop my referral link in the description below,
- 0:44Speaker 1: but yeah, tickpick, Uh, pretty cool moment. Five hundred dollars off. Sure,
- 0:49Speaker 1: the total is forty five hundred, but hell, at least
- 0:53Speaker 1: you say five hundred dollars with tickpick. If you got
- 0:55Speaker 1: the dough, why not go for Super Bowl sixty. But
- 1:01Speaker 1: I normally take you inside Radio Row in the happenings there,
- 1:05Speaker 1: and there hasn't been a lot of content until today
- 1:10Speaker 1: when I found out this guy named Henry, who continually
- 1:15Speaker 1: impersonates Chris Collinsworth on radio on his TikTok, actually had
- 1:24Speaker 1: a chance to chop it up with here's a guy
- 1:32Speaker 1: Chris Collinsworth.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Now here's a guy.
- 1:54Speaker 3: There's a guy baby.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I mean, there's that's a guy right there. Let's get
- 1:58Speaker 2: him going.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I notice you embrace the Patrick Mahomes memes elements. I'm
- 2:05Speaker 4: the forty nine Ers Bears game second last week. What
- 2:09Speaker 4: are your thoughts on creators like myself? You do the iconic.
- 2:13Speaker 4: I mean, here's a guy that's me, that's.
- 2:17Speaker 2: The man right there.
- 2:20Speaker 5: I actually really like it. I just I'm thinking, I
- 2:27Speaker 5: don't know how many thinks more things I can do
- 2:31Speaker 5: with Let's see what I'm doing this week, okay, And
- 2:38Speaker 5: everybody sends them to me, and they all are the impersonators,
- 2:42Speaker 5: and you know it's I've seen it. I laugh, I
- 2:47Speaker 5: have a good time. He doesn't bother me. I really doesn't.
- 2:51Speaker 1: There's the guy.
- 2:52Speaker 2: He's honor to meet you.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I love you, and all my impressions and stuff.
- 2:59Speaker 2: It's just because of the.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Now here's a guy, baby, I mean, that's a guy
- 3:05Speaker 5: right there.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Let's get him going.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Henry Markin, I gotta give you credit. Man, you've been
- 3:12Speaker 1: busting your tail with that collins Worth impression and Mahomes
- 3:15Speaker 1: a little bit for a long time. And now here's
- 3:19Speaker 1: a guy that just met the man who does.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Here's the guy.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Here's a guy, it's so cool.
- 3:25Speaker 2: It's so cool.
- 3:27Speaker 1: The other story that you may not know is the USO,
- 3:30Speaker 1: the group that entertains the troops. Of course Freanklindy Roosevelt
- 3:35Speaker 1: started it, but Bob Hope really launched it when he
- 3:39Speaker 1: got involved with them to bring hope and excite and
- 3:44Speaker 1: entertainment to the battlefield with the troops. And how many
- 3:48Speaker 1: legends have performed with the USO or last eighty five
- 3:52Speaker 1: years this week eighty five years for the USO. But yes,
- 3:57Speaker 1: the NFL and the USO has also partnered, and I
- 4:01Speaker 1: want to play you this exchange with from Radio Row
- 4:10Speaker 1: with Aaron Jones and of course Vin's will Fork, the
- 4:13Speaker 1: former Patriot who joined super Bowl Live on behalf of
- 4:17Speaker 1: the USO. Take a listen to this.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Drew and Bucky Brooks now joined by a couple of
- 4:46Speaker 6: studs right here. A guy who's got some of that
- 4:48Speaker 6: super Bowl jewelry to show off. Vince will Fork and
- 4:52Speaker 6: then Aaron Jones with us as well on behalf of
- 4:56Speaker 6: the USO.
- 4:57Speaker 3: We appreciate both.
- 4:58Speaker 6: Of you guys for joining us. I gotta start with you, man,
- 5:02Speaker 6: no stranger to the super Bowl stage here, and what
- 5:05Speaker 6: is it like for you being back in a Super
- 5:07Speaker 6: Bowl week environment.
- 5:10Speaker 7: I mean it's you know, I've been in four of them,
- 5:12Speaker 7: one two and lost to so I know the ends
- 5:16Speaker 7: and odds of both sides of it. I tell you
- 5:18Speaker 7: it sucks being on the losing end of it. But
- 5:21Speaker 7: at the same time, I know how important it is
- 5:23Speaker 7: for the fans and the families and the players to
- 5:26Speaker 7: be able to come out here and enjoy their time
- 5:28Speaker 7: and then experience this Super Bowl experience. So I would
- 5:33Speaker 7: just say, you know, it sucking all in because it
- 5:35Speaker 7: don't come around often. I had to lushu to be
- 5:38Speaker 7: in four, but some guys sometimes guys don't.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Play in any so be able to enjoy your experience, but.
- 5:43Speaker 7: At the same time understand what it means to be
- 5:45Speaker 7: here and get the job done. So I think both
- 5:48Speaker 7: sides are experiencing that at the end of the day,
- 5:50Speaker 7: one team gonna walk away the winner. So whoever played
- 5:53Speaker 7: the best and make the most make the most of
- 5:55Speaker 7: what they do is gonna be Super Bowl champions.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Aaron, good to see you again.
- 6:01Speaker 8: You know we have our our running back rankings every year.
- 6:04Speaker 8: I had you up a little bit higher this year,
- 6:07Speaker 8: a little bit higher. We're working our way up talk
- 6:09Speaker 8: about your time in Minnesota this year and kind of
- 6:12Speaker 8: what was the struggles and a lot of the good
- 6:14Speaker 8: things you guys did as well.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Uh great to see you again.
- 6:18Speaker 9: Like you say, we always had them talks, but appreciate you.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I would say the.
- 6:24Speaker 9: Struggles is just when you're young, you got to learn
- 6:26Speaker 9: how you got to learn how to win, and that's
- 6:28Speaker 9: a process. And we went through that process and we
- 6:31Speaker 9: we got over that period. And I would say the
- 6:34Speaker 9: best part is we stuck together. We believed in each other,
- 6:37Speaker 9: and we we got it going.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Just a little too late.
- 6:40Speaker 9: We still could have had we won that Chicago game,
- 6:43Speaker 9: we would have been in the playoffs and it would
- 6:46Speaker 9: have looked a lot different. But you know, we all
- 6:49Speaker 9: came together and that was the most important part. We
- 6:51Speaker 9: set the foundation leading into next year and we know
- 6:55Speaker 9: we feel like we have all the pieces we need
- 6:57Speaker 9: and uh JJ is gonna continue to develop and we're
- 7:01Speaker 9: just going to continue to get better.
- 7:02Speaker 2: But we were one game short, and it's a lot
- 7:05Speaker 2: of ball out there left for us to play.
- 7:08Speaker 10: Yeah, there's certainly a lot of ball out there left
- 7:09Speaker 10: to play. Evince, this is for you. The Patriots are
- 7:13Speaker 10: here the back on the major stage. If you could
- 7:15Speaker 10: give them some advice in terms of learning how to
- 7:18Speaker 10: win the Super Bowl? What would you give them? What
- 7:21Speaker 10: lessons would you tell them? Like, hey, if we do this,
- 7:23Speaker 10: you have an opportunity to win. And Hoyst still on.
- 7:25Speaker 7: Board, I think what I would tell him is exec
- 7:29Speaker 7: that all time high. Don't do anything any different than
- 7:32Speaker 7: what you've been doing. Understand your game plan, and just
- 7:35Speaker 7: execute because you know these two teams they're not going
- 7:38Speaker 7: to make a lot of mistakes. Normally Super Bowl teams
- 7:41Speaker 7: don't come in with a lot of mistakes because that's
- 7:43Speaker 7: why they got there, and that's what I would feed
- 7:46Speaker 7: to them. I'm like, listen here, hey, we're going to
- 7:48Speaker 7: have to execute that all time high. And then there's
- 7:50Speaker 7: going to be some guys that it's going to have
- 7:51Speaker 7: to step up and make some plays and it's going
- 7:53Speaker 7: to be x facted in this game. So we just
- 7:55Speaker 7: don't know who it's going to be. But when your
- 7:57Speaker 7: numbers call, you have to be able to perform and
- 8:00Speaker 7: you at that level.
- 8:00Speaker 2: If you do, you'll be fine.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Well, Aaron, you've obviously played with a number of guys
- 8:05Speaker 6: who are going to be in the Super Bowl. Here
- 8:07Speaker 6: at Sam Donald chief among them your quarterback a year
- 8:10Speaker 6: ago there in Minnesota. What did you learn about Sam
- 8:12Speaker 6: in the year that you guys spent with him, and
- 8:15Speaker 6: maybe that kind of gave you a sense of what
- 8:17Speaker 6: he was capable of in leading a team to a
- 8:19Speaker 6: moment like this.
- 8:22Speaker 9: I learned that Sam as a baller, But I learned
- 8:24Speaker 9: that probably day one, day two of being there with him,
- 8:28Speaker 9: our first time together. And I could early tell already
- 8:32Speaker 9: early on that he had kind of been wroting off
- 8:35Speaker 9: too early.
- 8:36Speaker 2: And I spoke about it.
- 8:37Speaker 9: From the time I came in that my belief in
- 8:40Speaker 9: Sam Donald and him as a comeback player of the
- 8:43Speaker 9: Year and all of those things, and I have a
- 8:46Speaker 9: lot of belief in him, and I feel like he's
- 8:48Speaker 9: just continued to prove people wrong. And you never count
- 8:52Speaker 9: somebody out. In my opinion, they're gonna if they're willing
- 8:56Speaker 9: to continue to grow, want to get better, and want
- 8:59Speaker 9: to want to learn. I said, you never count somebody
- 9:01Speaker 9: out in it. And uh, you look at the draft
- 9:04Speaker 9: class that he came in into, and he's he's beat
- 9:08Speaker 9: all of those guys to the super Bowl, but he
- 9:11Speaker 9: was also being written off before all.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Of those guys. So it's just it's.
- 9:15Speaker 9: Cool to see when you when you have time to
- 9:17Speaker 9: sit back and let let it play out and you develop.
- 9:21Speaker 9: I said, quarterbacks one of the hardest positions to play
- 9:23Speaker 9: in the in the NFL, so it's cool to see
- 9:26Speaker 9: the resurgence.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Vince.
- 9:28Speaker 8: Your former teammate Mike Rabels, a head coach of the
- 9:31Speaker 8: ning of the Patriots. Have you spoken to him and
- 9:33Speaker 8: has he given you any little tidbits on what the
- 9:36Speaker 8: game plan will be this week?
- 9:38Speaker 7: Let us please no, I haven't. I haven't spoken to Mike.
- 9:43Speaker 7: I played with Mike and I played up on the
- 9:47Speaker 7: Mike when I was in Houston and he was a
- 9:49Speaker 7: linebacker coach, so I know his mindset, trusted.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I understand he's he's he's.
- 9:56Speaker 7: In there telling these guys exactly what needs to happen
- 9:59Speaker 7: to be able to walk Super Bowl champs. And he's
- 10:01Speaker 7: not going to leave no stone on turn. I'm telling
- 10:04Speaker 7: you he's not. He's just such a great guy, great coach.
- 10:07Speaker 7: And one thing I love about Mike, he's a great teacher,
- 10:11Speaker 7: and I think a great coach if you can become
- 10:13Speaker 7: a great teacher, you can get the most out of
- 10:16Speaker 7: your guys. And I think Mike has done a great
- 10:18Speaker 7: job if every place he's been at coaching being a
- 10:21Speaker 7: great teacher, and now it's starting to show itself as
- 10:23Speaker 7: the new England Patriots being in the super Bowl one
- 10:26Speaker 7: win away from being a champion.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Well said this question. Lastly, here is for both of you,
- 10:32Speaker 6: obviously with us as part of the global Ambassadors for
- 10:35Speaker 6: the USO. I know, Aaron, your parents combined fifty six
- 10:39Speaker 6: years of service nearm Forces. We thank you and your
- 10:42Speaker 6: family for that service. I'd love to hear from both
- 10:45Speaker 6: of you about you know how important this organization is
- 10:47Speaker 6: to you and why you're representing them here in media row.
- 10:52Speaker 9: Definitely, I want to say thank you for that. The
- 10:55Speaker 9: military has been my upbringing. Like you said, both of
- 10:57Speaker 9: my parents serve, so it's a part of me. It's
- 11:00Speaker 9: what's instilled in me. One for the military, I don't know,
- 11:03Speaker 9: uh really where we would be at. Uh. It's taught
- 11:06Speaker 9: me structured discipline, but sacrifice as well. Coming together, Uh,
- 11:12Speaker 9: people from all different walks of life coming together, uh
- 11:15Speaker 9: for one one main common goal.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And the video of this planning right here was so cool.
- 11:20Speaker 9: I got these that was a unit from our Passo
- 11:22Speaker 9: Texas and I got the honor to Pina Soldia and
- 11:25Speaker 9: change his ring. So it's just been a full circle
- 11:28Speaker 9: for me. But just letting these troops know that we
- 11:30Speaker 9: support them, we love them, and uh we we appreciate
- 11:34Speaker 9: them and their families as well, because when one serves.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Everybody serves.
- 11:38Speaker 7: Yeah, and from and from my point, my father in
- 11:40Speaker 7: law was a Vietnam VET SOM Army running heavy in
- 11:44Speaker 7: my on my side with my wife and just being
- 11:47Speaker 7: able to show them the love and support that we
- 11:50Speaker 7: have for them, being able to go see them right
- 11:52Speaker 7: before holidays or and just have them think about just
- 11:55Speaker 7: a little normalcy, uh, just a little bit what they do.
- 12:01Speaker 2: They are the true heroes.
- 12:02Speaker 7: And I think the more we can show them the love,
- 12:05Speaker 7: respect and the support of everything that they do, all
- 12:08Speaker 7: the sacrifices and all the dedication that they make on
- 12:11Speaker 7: a daily base for our countries and for us to
- 12:14Speaker 7: be safe, I think we need to do more and
- 12:16Speaker 7: more we possibly can to give them that love and
- 12:19Speaker 7: that support because it goes along ways with these soldiers
- 12:22Speaker 7: and their family. So I love everything about the US.
- 12:25Speaker 7: So I love everything about what our military do for us.
- 12:28Speaker 2: And we couldn't do what we couldn't do what we.
- 12:31Speaker 7: Do if it wasn't for them, and thank God for
- 12:35Speaker 7: our military and nothing but love and respect and support
- 12:38Speaker 7: for those guys.
- 12:39Speaker 6: We appreciate the love that you guys are showing as
- 12:41Speaker 6: well that way, Thanks very much here Jones, Vince Wilfork
- 12:44Speaker 6: with us for Media Row here on Super Bowl Live. Guys,
- 12:47Speaker 6: thanks the.
- 12:49Speaker 9: Same way I prepare each and every.
- 12:56Speaker 1: And so there you go. That is will Fork on
- 13:00Speaker 1: having been on the same line as Mike Rabel, the
- 13:04Speaker 1: Patriots head coach, and of course him and Jones on
- 13:07Speaker 1: the USO. And by the way, I just found out
- 13:10Speaker 1: now Henry's trip to Radio Row sponsored by Wonder Fan.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So if you're a content creator, get in the ears
- 13:18Speaker 1: of all these different organizations and they can make it
- 13:20Speaker 1: happen for you, just like they made it happen for
- 13:23Speaker 1: Henry Market.
- 13:24Speaker 3: And if I.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Had the uh time and energy to do that, I
- 13:29Speaker 1: would definitely do that. Maybe next year for Super Bowl
- 13:31Speaker 1: sixty one, that would be pretty cool. Get on Radio
- 13:34Speaker 1: Row again. I was there. I can't believe I was
- 13:35Speaker 1: saying twelve years ago, just a kid, not sure what
- 13:39Speaker 1: to do, but I end up getting a few sound bites.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I'm able to play it again tomorrow to recap again.
- 13:46Speaker 1: But it is a fun time on Radio Row. You
- 13:48Speaker 1: never know who you're gonna see. We saw Kevin Costner
- 13:51Speaker 1: twelve years ago on Radio Row in twenty fourteen, and
- 13:55Speaker 1: that's really how the show started. I was able to
- 13:57Speaker 1: bring clips to you from that moment and that experience,
- 14:01Speaker 1: and damn I'd love to have it again. Maybe well
- 14:04Speaker 1: on the One Leg Up network. We'll have to see.
- 14:06Speaker 1: But stay tuned for more from Radio Row as content
- 14:10Speaker 1: keeps coming in right up until kickoff Sunday afternoon at
- 14:14Speaker 1: six thirty pm. Patriots Seahawks a rematch. Well, maybe they
- 14:20Speaker 1: will play the question we were that Seattle's head coach
- 14:23Speaker 1: was asked yesterday and vrabel idiot a question to Vaible
- 14:28Speaker 1: as well. We'll play that for you, But for now,
- 14:30Speaker 1: that is awesome that Henry got to talk to one
- 14:33Speaker 1: of the guys's been in personing for almostly two or
- 14:35Speaker 1: three years already, Chris Collins work Worth. Now there's a
- 14:38Speaker 1: guy that got to Radio Row. Now there's a guy
- 14:44Speaker 1: that at One Leg Up on Radio Row. And of
- 14:59Speaker 1: course fourteen years ago today the Giants winning their second
- 15:04Speaker 1: Super Bowl in about four years time, and of course
- 15:08Speaker 1: a mob Bradshaw securing the win with a late six
- 15:10Speaker 1: yard touchdown. Always awesome and running a mod at different events,
- 15:15Speaker 1: and I got to replay it the time I interviewed
- 15:17Speaker 1: to Mob Bradshaw on this podcast a couple of years ago. Reliships,
- 15:51Speaker 1: how do you want to do this? Do you want
- 15:52Speaker 1: to do it?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Where? Maybe? We say.
- 15:56Speaker 1: And we'll continue with Rachel next week, but let's do
- 15:58Speaker 1: a quick update with Alex Garrett for this weekend or
- 16:01Speaker 1: something like that.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Is this show for my show or your podcast?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Oh? No, it would be for your show. No, or
- 16:07Speaker 1: what do you want to do?
- 16:09Speaker 3: Yeah? We can you can put you can yeah put yeah, both,
- 16:12Speaker 3: we could do both for my show and also for
- 16:14Speaker 3: your show. You can put this on your show as well.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Oh that's right, because I'm actually doing a radio row
- 16:18Speaker 1: thing now as I talk.
- 16:19Speaker 3: So hang on, Okay, you're kind of rough. Your voice
- 16:22Speaker 3: is kind of rough. You sound bad?
- 16:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 16:27Speaker 3: Hello loo, Yeah, you sound kind of rough. Okay, Well
- 16:30Speaker 3: that's okay.
- 16:31Speaker 1: You know why I have it on. Let's see well,
- 16:37Speaker 1: let me see here. Hello look hm hm
- 16:47Speaker 3: Okay, perfect, yes, sir
