- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Alright, guys, welcome back to another episode of the podcast.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: I got this download.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: I don't know why.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: This is like not the first time I've gotten a download while going P.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: But I was going pee and all of a sudden I heard do a podcast episode on PCOS.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Now I have covered PCOS in some other ones before, um, in the hormone ones, um, and I do have a PCOS dedicated one as well.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: So go back and listen to that one.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: This is going to be a little bit more in-depth.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, it's going to be juicy.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: We're gonna cover everything about PCOS and basically how to heal it so that it's gone for good, and what no one really tells you, and how they just say, oh, go on the pill, or it's something you have to deal with forever.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Hell no.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: PCOS, not only can you heal from it, like I'm fully healed.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I used to have PCOS for those of you who don't know.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Um, you don't have to manage symptoms anymore.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: We can just completely get rid of it so it's non-existent, no longer an issue in your life, which is how we want it.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: And if you don't know, the pill is not the answer.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Please go back and listen to my podcast episode on the pill and kind of the the harms and dangers and how the pill messes everything up in your system, and it's gonna cause a lot more damage than the things that it helps, and it doesn't really get to the root.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: So let's go ahead and cover PCOS.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: So I'm just gonna do a brief overview of physical symptoms in case you aren't familiar with it, but maybe you think you have it, or um, yeah, just so you know.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: So, some of the main physical symptoms, we're gonna go over physical and then I'm gonna dive into emotional in a bit.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Um, but the main physical symptoms are irregular or no periods at all, or or the occasional like heavy painful period, difficult to getting pregnant, um, excessive hair growth.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: This is usually either on your face, on your back, um, your chest, your butt, uh acne, oily skin, lower back pain, mood changes, sleeping issues, thinning hair, depression, fatigue, and of course, cysts themselves on your on your ovaries um are all kind of like signs of PCOS.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: So the most common driver, there are four types of PCOS.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: The most common thing for PCOS is that it has insulin resistance.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: So if you have not heard of my podcast episode on insulin resistance, go back and listen to that one because too much insulin basically impairs your ovulation and causes it to make testosterone instead of estradiol.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: And you might have signs of insulin resistance such as shakiness, um, frequent cravings, difficulty losing weight, all those kind of things.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: If you are insulin resistant, you need to cut sugar, you need to make sure you're exercising, you need to make sure you're getting proper nutrients, that your meals are focused around like protein, healthy fats, getting lots of fiber.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Um, if you want to know more about that, just jump into healthier you.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: It's literally how I eat, not only for PCOS or to like get rid of completely PCOS, but how to balance your hormones, um, how to eat in a way that's satisfying and nourishing, all of that jazz.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: So if you want to know how to eat specifically for PCOS, it is super simple.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: You can honestly manage so many of your symptoms and like get rid of them just by managing your insulin, which I teach in Healthier U, but you need to make sure that your cells are not insulin resistant.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: The other thing you need to do is you need to make sure you're getting enough of certain nutrients.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: So you need to make sure you're getting enough magnesia, you need to make sure you're getting enough vitamin D, and you need to make sure you are getting enough zinc.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Now, there's also post-pill PCOS.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: So honestly, doctors tend to just like diagnose you with PCOS if you haven't gotten your cycle after coming off the pill.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: However, most likely you may not even have PCOS.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: If this is you, I'm sorry that they told you that.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Um basically, we just need to get your body to produce enough glutinizing hormone and follicular stimulating hormones so that your body can start ovulating.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: So if you're a post spell, you're gonna want to work with someone, uh, someone like me, or someone who can focus on bringing back your hormone balances.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Okay, type number three, inflammation PCOS.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Now, know that in you can have multiple um forms, and most people that I see with PCOS have this in a number of different areas.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: They not only have inflammation, but they have, you know, insulin resistant, um, they have a combo of these.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: So inflammation basically disrupts hormone receptors and suppresses ovulation.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: It also stimulates your ovaries to make more androgens.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: So androgens are the things that make you break out.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: They're good for guys, but in excess, they're not so good for girls.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: And that's where the acne comes in.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Um that's also where some of the gut health issues, so much of the inflammation, um, the symptoms of PCOS come in.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: So you want to make sure that that is not a driving force.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: And then type number four is adrenal PCOS.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: This is, like I said, well, self-explanatory, your adrenals.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: So adrenal PCOS is not driven by insulin resistance or period ovulation, it's actually your stress response system or your HPA access.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: So if you are hella stressed out all the time and you have trauma that you haven't released, then there's probably a driver of adrenal PCOS.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: So know that you can have inflammatory adrenaline, you can have one of these, a combo, and I don't expect you to figure it out.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: That's why you have people like me, but this is so you understand that it's not a problem that's gets solved by taking birth control.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: And also know that if you got issues with your thyroid, your thyroid can affect your adrenals, your thyroid can impair ovulation, your thyroid worsens insulin resistance, and all of that.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: So you definitely need to make sure that you are really taking care of all of these different areas when we think of, you know, PCOS.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: All right, so let's go ahead and dive in.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Like I said, this is gonna be one of the episodes in our mini sewed series.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I said that in the beginning, but we are we're almost seven minutes in.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: I want to try to keep this straight and to the point so that you can really understand what is driving your PCOS and what no one is telling you so that you can actually solve it.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Have babies and feel amazing.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Okay, so let's get into the emotional stuff.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: So, ovarian cysts are related to your creative power in the world.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Your ovaries are your seat of power, creation, creativity.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: After all, when you ovulate, that is an egg, that is a birth, that is creation, that is where babies come from.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: So if you do not go through that creative process by ovulating regularly, you can pretty much ask yourself the question if you are also suppressing your creativity on a mental-emotional level.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Have you given up pursuing a career you love?
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: Are you stuck in a job you hate, a relationship you hate?
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: Uh, when's the next last time you had fun and did something creative?
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: Or are you kind of just going through the motions and maybe you're also so exhausted that you don't have the even the energy to be creative, right?
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: And so then we have the emotional stuff.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: On top of the physical, you know, your adrenals contribute to PCOS, but because your adrenals are so fucked up, then you don't have the energy to actually be creative, and then this is compounding, leading to even more PCOS.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: So you can see, you're gonna see a lot in this episode, how the physical and the emotional feed off of each other and why you need to do it all.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Alright, so PCOS is also focused on an overdeveloped sense of being personally responsible and accountable for people around you.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: So this means whether this was imposed on you or whether you took this upon yourself and you are a people pleaser, depending whether you were growing up this way, um, maybe you were an only child, maybe you were the eldest, you or you just were a people pleaser, right?
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: You just took on this responsibility.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to quickly hop on here and let you guys know that if you have not heard of Healthier You yet, it is now open and I have added a new masterclass to it, which is the Break the Cycle Emotional Eating Masterclass.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: So Healthier U is literally the foundational program.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: It is my ride or die, it is how I live my life to feel my best in my body to heal from hormones to heal, from under eating to heal, from feeling restricted and just not feeling delicious and nourished when I eat.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: This includes how to cut sugar, the formula when I'm like eating makes it super simple.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: Tells you how to go out and eat truffle fries and still feel amazing in your body, still heal your hormones and still feel great.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: So if you have not checked that out, I'm gonna leave the link for that down below because this foundation is honestly so easy.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: It's for those of you who might scroll through, you know, all of the vibey health and wellness content on Instagram and TikTok wondering how to be, you know, quote unquote fat girl.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: This is like saving you the tidbits of advice, trying to figure it out how to piece it all together and just puts it all together for you in a really easy digestible way.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Plus, I do have something special coming next month for you guys who are gonna be in it, which is going to be completely free.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, so if you're in it, you're gonna get access to that.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: So if you feel like it is a full body guest to understand how you can really take care of yourself, make healthy eating a lifestyle, balance all your hormones in a way that is like cookies and delicious and nourishing and satisfying, we break it down inside.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Um, and I will leave the link for that down below.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: And with that, let's get back into the episode.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: You basically feel like you have to run the whole show without adequate personal resources, but you could have also put yourself in this position by being a perfectionist and people pleaser and depleting yourself, so then you depleted yourself, and that energy of this contributes to PCOS, but because you're a people pleaser, your adrenals are also failing, and then that contributes to like the physical route, right?
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Or you're so burnt out that you're eating like shit, which is contributing to your insulin-resistant PCOS, and we can see how it all ties together already.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: So those with inadequate personal resources that are people pleasing come about because you at some point felt responsible, and it was when you were not mentally, emotionally, physically um developed enough to cope.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: So chances are something happened when you were little that made you be that people pleaser, lack of boundaries, taking on more than you should, or it was even thrust upon you depending on your home dynamic, if you had to take care of your younger siblings or a parent, or you felt like the parent wasn't taking care of you.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Okay, think about PCOS, we're gonna keep diving into the emotional that you have not had a chance to be born, right?
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: And so you are playing that masculine role because as we talked about, if you took on the people pleasing and the lack of boundaries, whether it was force or whether you chose, that's a very masculine role that you had to kind of embody that is not serving you.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: So you may have had to deal with mom or dad doing this, um, any kind of jealousy, anything that would have made you feeling like you are trapped.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: And when you feel trapped, many people want to escape, and you can escape from you know overeating or bad relationships, or if I people please enough, then I'll be left, right?
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: So trying to make sense of your emotions at an early age honestly is difficult.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: So the deepest you stay hidden, the the worse is going to be.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: If you can start to get curious about this, this is going to help you immensely, okay?
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: So we have the creative route that is kind of contributing, and then I also want to dive into the feminine route.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: So anything, anytime you have anything to do with hormones, you have kind of an issue in femininity.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: With PCOS, you feel more comfortable being in the masculine.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: So either dad wasn't around or dad was around, but I didn't feel fully safe.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: And I cannot tell you the amount of people actually, this happened on a one-on-one call, um, a brand new one-on-one.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: We started last week.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: By the way, if you want to become one, just message me depending on when you're listening to this episode.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: We might be able to get you in.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Um, so DM me if that's you.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: But when I did an intake, she's like, Oh yeah, parents are fine, like nothing growing up.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: As soon as someone tells me that like mom and dad were fine, like they had a great childhood.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: No, I always eye deeper and I always find like big earth-shattering things.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: Keep in mind, we're not saying this was like mom and dad were bad by any means, but we're just saying this is like the way that the younger version of you perceived things, okay?
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: So just know if you're sitting there being like, but dad was around and he loved me, that doesn't matter.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Like, I just had someone last week, this girl, telling me that, oh yeah, mom and dad loved me, and then we go to figure out that, like, yes, you know, dad would like smother with um it was always at soccer games and would give lots of gifts, but would never hug her or tell her any words, and those are her love languages, and then we had this full big trauma release, and she's bawling her eyes out, and it was like massive, right?
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: So just know it is my job to see these things, but I want to put this at the forefront so you can start to become aware.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Okay, so you are not fully comfortable in your feminine, and somewhere along the way, the your perception of the feminine has been distorted.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Whether you saw your mom um talking negatively about herself, whether you saw even in society, you know, women being talked down to if they're not a certain size, that they don't look this way, anything that made you kind of reject your feminine essence.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: And this is compounded by the idea that the feminine cannot be safe, and so it's gonna make you hide behind your masculine energy.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: Masculine energy is perfectionism, it is burnout, it is hyperbody focused or direction-focused.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: It is none of these good things if you're too much in your masculine.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: So you choose to be more masculine because it's more safe, because either you're rejecting your feminine essence, your body, your expression, but also somewhere along the way, you learned that it wasn't safe to be in your feminine because dad wasn't there in some kind of way.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: So all of this time, it's kind of like hiding underneath this distortion that has made you build this very tough exterior for protection.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: So you're really living behind all of these false layers.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: So no wonder your body is producing more male hormone.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Like if you're stuck in your masculine, no wonder you have like PCOS where your androgens are high and you've got hair on your face and you're breaking out.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: It's because you're in your masculine, right?
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: Like we can see this.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: So I want to go over the key.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: Um, we've run down some of them, but I want to reinforce kind of the key emotional programs that are running the show when it comes to PCOS.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: Number one, you often do not feel beautiful and do not enjoy your natural beauty body, va va voom essence.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: You do not look in the mirror and go like, mm-hmm.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: Number one.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: Number two, you struggle to live life from your deepest emotions.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: You are burying emotions that need to be dealt with, okay?
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: And by not dealing with those, you're going into your masculine, and then your masculine is not gonna ovulate because that's not what men do, right?
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Number three, um, you feel blocked when trying to connect with your feminine side.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: This is often when I ask people, what makes you feel feminine?
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: And they go, I don't know.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what?
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: This is this is a red flag.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: This is something I work a lot with people, right?
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: So this is why it's important to do the emotional work as well as the physical, which is what sets the work I do apart.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, number, what are we?
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: I think four emotions are um of the past are being held on to without really being worked on or something new being born.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: So living from your deepest emotions is different than not letting go of them because you need to live forward from your emotions um and not kind of bottle them in.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: This is we're talking about the past.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: So, as well as you're not living from the the future going forward, you're also stuck in the past and not releasing those.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Feelings are also really deeply hidden.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: This is like one number five.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: Um, and you don't even realize that you have them, like you don't even realize you're holding on to them.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Okay, all of these, this lack of safety is kind of buried in your pelvis, which is number six now.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: So think about any times this lack of safety, and lack of safety does not have to be you didn't have a roof over your head or didn't have food on the table, though it can be, it can just be like you if you were like the the girl in your group who got bullied or someone who was overweight or you had acne on your friends, like that's all not a safe feeling, right?
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Okay, you then I think we're on seven now.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Seven, you live according to false perspectives based on your wounding, which means that the perfectionism of people pleasing based on the fact that if you do it, then I'll get enough love, right?
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of like how you run your day.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: What you do or don't do, eat or don't eat, sleep or don't sleep, all that kind of runs the show.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: I forget what the next, I think we're on eight, whatever, seven, eight, whatever number we're on.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: The next emotional program is you are living according to the judgment of the outside world.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: External validation, external judgment.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: What will he say?
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: What will she say?
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: What will he think?
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: What will she think?
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: What will my parents say?
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: What will my mom say?
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: What will my friends say?
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: What if they leave me?
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: What if they reject me?
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: What if they abandon me?
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, new slash, no one can do that unless you do that to yourself.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: But if you are finding yourself looking or living for validation of the outside world, this is a program that's still running the show, and you're probably not gonna have more than one of these filter all the emotional programs.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: Okay, we kept it.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm gonna keep it to 17, 18 minutes, maybe.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: I hope this was useful to you.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: If you have any more questions about PCOS, let me know.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: But I wanted to give you kind of like the quick and dirty way to solve it, things that no one else tells you, and you can kind of see how they're all intermingled.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: So, with that being said, if you would like to finally heal your PCOS, we can definitely find a container for you.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: Depending on when you are listening to this, um, you can hop into one-on-one.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: You might be able to hop into a session with me, but definitely if you are not eating for insulin resistance right now, or you're not eating to balance your blood sugar, hop into healthier you because it is self-based.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: You just watch the videos, you do that.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: The amount of people who've had like their lives transformed just by eating this by is just you'll see.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: I will leave the link for that down below.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: You can kind of go check out everyone people are saying, tells you everything that's included, tells you how to cut sugar, tells you how to do it properly.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Um, it actually also includes how to stop emotional eating, which is something new that I've added.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't even think I announced this because I just added it today, or I told my OBM to add it today, which is the emotional eating masterclass.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: So the value of this package is going even up.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna leave that down below.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: Like I said, any questions about PCOS?
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: Let a girl know because you do not have to suffer.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: It is not a lifelong sentence, it is something we can we can heal pretty pretty easily.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: Well, the solution is easy, you just have to be the embodiment, which sometimes can be hard.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: That's why you have me, right?
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: Okay, I will see you guys in the next episode.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Bye guys.
