- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest, Good Monday morning.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I looked at the date, and I feel like we
- 0:13Speaker 1: have gotten here way too fast. I'm hearing people to
- 0:17Speaker 1: you talking about saying, oh, for the last days of summer,
- 0:20Speaker 1: the last days of summer. They're using that context already
- 0:23Speaker 1: right now.
- 0:24Speaker 2: It's not last days of summer, but we're we're halfway
- 0:27Speaker 2: through summer.
- 0:28Speaker 1: No, it's it's last days of summer for you got
- 0:30Speaker 1: to go back to school in August, the beginning of August,
- 0:32Speaker 1: middle of August. It's last days of Summer's like that
- 0:36Speaker 1: kind of I don't mean to be down on it, Tony,
- 0:38Speaker 1: it was that point in time if you didn't do
- 0:39Speaker 1: it yet this summer between now and then, No, you
- 0:43Speaker 1: need to.
- 0:44Speaker 3: But what about being present in the moment.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Okay, we'll be present at the moment all day today.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Michael on the phone here, Michael says that his fiance
- 0:56Speaker 1: won't post about their engagement on her Instagram feed. Michael,
- 1:02Speaker 1: what's up, good morning, congratulations, Thank.
- 1:05Speaker 4: You, right, I appreciate it. I just taking a call. Yeah,
- 1:09Speaker 4: you have that right on the intro. I know it
- 1:11Speaker 4: sounds a little juvenile, but was hopeful for your advice
- 1:13Speaker 4: on something here. So, uh, my girlfriend might have been
- 1:17Speaker 4: dating for about three years. We got engaged a few
- 1:19Speaker 4: months ago. You know, I did it kind of big.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I had a photographer come, you know, sneak up on us,
- 1:24Speaker 4: take some pictures, and we got some great shots back.
- 1:27Speaker 4: And she kind of posts like everything she does. She's
- 1:30Speaker 4: kind of like a micro influencer in our area. Yeah,
- 1:32Speaker 4: and she posted this story, the story of the ring
- 1:34Speaker 4: where we got engaged, and we got all these great
- 1:36Speaker 4: shots back. We agree it's good, but she hasn't put
- 1:39Speaker 4: anything on our Instagram. And it's kind of like, am
- 1:42Speaker 4: I in my head to think, like you put everything
- 1:44Speaker 4: up there and then about this? I mean, am I
- 1:47Speaker 4: crazy to even ask her about this?
- 1:48Speaker 5: Oh, she hadn't win a static post?
- 1:51Speaker 4: Correct.
- 1:52Speaker 6: Yeah, It's like she posted a picture of the ring
- 1:53Speaker 6: where we got engaged. You know, we got a look
- 1:55Speaker 6: congratulations in st that are like yeah and may disappear
- 1:59Speaker 6: if or a day, and don't how people come to me.
- 2:01Speaker 6: I know, I didn't know you're engaged, et cetera. Because
- 2:03Speaker 6: I think this is kind of like her page is
- 2:05Speaker 6: the way that we kind of keep in touch with
- 2:06Speaker 6: our friends. Still we lost touch at SUN, but they
- 2:08Speaker 6: use her page as like the way to keep in
- 2:10Speaker 6: touch with us, and it's not a and I don't know,
- 2:12Speaker 6: muit crazy to think that this is a little a
- 2:15Speaker 6: little off if she posts.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Are you secure with the relationship?
- 2:19Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 2:19Speaker 4: I mean I'm secure? I think I yes, I am sure. Okay,
- 2:23Speaker 4: all right, if.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You're if you're confident in a relationship you've got with
- 2:28Speaker 1: your fiance, then maybe she wants to have something to
- 2:31Speaker 1: herself that's private. Maybe she doesn't want to put everything
- 2:34Speaker 1: up there, and this is means so much to her
- 2:36Speaker 1: that she wants to keep it between the two of you.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I wouldn't look too far into this.
- 2:41Speaker 3: No, I think it's weird.
- 2:42Speaker 1: What you would be very strange. He's saying.
- 2:46Speaker 2: She posts everything you don't post your engage. That's like
- 2:50Speaker 2: the one thing people that's like the one thing people post.
- 2:53Speaker 8: Even if maybe she's waiting, maybe she wants to do
- 2:55Speaker 8: like a perfect reel or like the right carousel of
- 2:58Speaker 8: pictures and she's just right now kind of like a
- 3:00Speaker 8: soft launch of the engagement.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I think that now I wouldn't obsessed about it. And congratulations,
- 3:05Speaker 1: enjoy the fact that you are engaged in getting married. Brother.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Thank you for calling.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Thank you. I appreciate it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I take care, Bye bye. I don't know that I
- 3:14Speaker 1: would post it.
- 3:16Speaker 5: I don't think.
- 3:17Speaker 8: I mean, and this was one hundred years ago, but
- 3:18Speaker 8: I don't think Michael posted when we got engaged.
- 3:21Speaker 5: I did on my Instagram. I don't think he did.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I know, but Michael doesn't post much.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Well, I'd be the Michael in this relationship. We have
- 3:30Speaker 1: your free gas every hour, let's start that. Next we
- 3:33Speaker 1: are rolling Kiss FM. So SNL did a sketch do
- 3:37Speaker 1: you say this with Lady Gaga about how we need
- 3:39Speaker 1: to stop saying sleigh ye and calling a song a bop?
- 3:43Speaker 1: I love calling songs bob, and I say drop like
- 3:47Speaker 1: music's dropping.
- 3:48Speaker 5: That one's hard to get rid of.
- 3:49Speaker 1: So New York Times had an article about the phrase
- 3:52Speaker 1: it's all good and how it needs to stop, and
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm with them on.
- 3:54Speaker 5: The it's all good.
- 3:56Speaker 1: You're right, So it makes me really not feel good
- 3:59Speaker 1: when you say it's.
- 4:00Speaker 8: All good, man, that's from not make you feel good
- 4:05Speaker 8: or you just now after reading this article you're like, oh, yeah, no,
- 4:07Speaker 8: I always thought something was wrong with people that said
- 4:09Speaker 8: that and now I know, Now I know.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So here are some others that could be annoying. No worries,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I use that too much. What would you use instead
- 4:17Speaker 1: of no worries?
- 4:17Speaker 5: No worries? I don't trip.
- 4:22Speaker 1: No, that's worse.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I mean, I'm trying to think of different ways.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Another one is these are Do you find these phrases
- 4:29Speaker 1: annoying when people say it is what it is?
- 4:31Speaker 8: Oh?
- 4:32Speaker 5: Yeah, it is what it is.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I mean, there's a way to say it, like, look,
- 4:38Speaker 1: here's where we are, So it doesn't matter what was
- 4:41Speaker 1: it's where we are.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Know what's annoying for it is what it is?
- 4:43Speaker 8: Is what in the context, Like if it's something that's
- 4:45Speaker 8: like really major for that person's life and you say that,
- 4:48Speaker 8: then that's very annoying.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Well what about saying, what's the solution? But cut out
- 4:52Speaker 1: is what it is?
- 4:53Speaker 4: Like?
- 4:53Speaker 1: Do we need to find a solution with.
- 4:54Speaker 8: Fel like I'm in a post meeting with you. That's
- 4:57Speaker 8: what it sounds like, That's what it sounds like. That's
- 4:59Speaker 8: what right, So what's the solution? I don't need to
- 5:02Speaker 8: hear the history of why we got here. Just tell
- 5:04Speaker 8: me what we're doing to go forward.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Stop the pain of the history of the problem, what's
- 5:08Speaker 1: going forward to the problem. Yeah, it's like, God, I
- 5:10Speaker 1: got I got to understand. I understand, understand, but why
- 5:12Speaker 1: and what do we do now? And then I'm just
- 5:14Speaker 1: saying that's another one that people annoying. But I'm just saying.
- 5:16Speaker 8: I'm just saying, Oh, that is such a crutch for me.
- 5:19Speaker 8: I say that all the time, all.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Right, anything else that I overuse or you overuse or
- 5:23Speaker 1: we ever use.
- 5:24Speaker 2: My girlfriends actually just told me that I say, you
- 5:28Speaker 2: actually look really pretty, right now?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Why do you say actually right? And I don't say
- 5:32Speaker 1: the wedding you actually looked better?
- 5:34Speaker 2: You do say actually, And I don't mean it like
- 5:36Speaker 2: you saying the other times, but I do write it's
- 5:40Speaker 2: like a it's like a sound.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'm so surprised that it's off putting.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Yeah, So I'm trying to be more minded.
- 5:45Speaker 8: You know what I am mindful about is saying honestly,
- 5:48Speaker 8: because I would always incorporate that in my dialect. And
- 5:52Speaker 8: it's when you say honestly before something, it feels like
- 5:55Speaker 8: you're not being honest.
- 5:56Speaker 1: So I used to be clear a lot. So just
- 5:58Speaker 1: to be clear, I want to underst dance, just not
- 6:00Speaker 1: clear we all have not on my bingo card. That's
- 6:04Speaker 1: another annoying one. There's so many, so many alena Is
- 6:09Speaker 1: on the line. Let's get to this at a long beach.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So listen in. My boyfriend killed my resume, and I'm conflicted, Alena,
- 6:17Speaker 1: what happened?
- 6:18Speaker 9: Yes, hey, okay, So I was trying to get a
- 6:23Speaker 9: good job at this company and I'm there dropping off
- 6:26Speaker 9: my resume and I met this guy who was like
- 6:29Speaker 9: really cute. We hit it off. He asked for my number, okay,
- 6:33Speaker 9: and so we went out and we've been dating now
- 6:36Speaker 9: for like six months. Uh huh. I never got that job.
- 6:41Speaker 9: I got a different job, which is fine. I just
- 6:44Speaker 9: found out that he killed my reme.
- 6:48Speaker 1: He killed your resume. What do you mean, what do
- 6:50Speaker 1: you do well?
- 6:52Speaker 9: Like, apparently where he works, workers are not allowed to date.
- 6:56Speaker 9: So when I came in, he like in to me
- 7:00Speaker 9: and he just never turned in my resume.
- 7:04Speaker 8: Oh, but then asked but then asked you out, and
- 7:06Speaker 8: then you guys started dating, like we've been dating.
- 7:10Speaker 9: And last night he told me he was just laughing
- 7:12Speaker 9: about it, like it's this like funny, romantic, like meat
- 7:15Speaker 9: cute story.
- 7:16Speaker 1: No it's not. It's actually in your word sabotage. I
- 7:20Speaker 1: don't like the character trait of it.
- 7:21Speaker 5: This is game over for me.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It's a deal breaker. Yeah, I really believe it's a
- 7:27Speaker 1: deal breaker. I don't like it. If he's doing that,
- 7:30Speaker 1: it's manipulative.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Hold on, is this the man of your dreams?
- 7:38Speaker 5: No?
- 7:39Speaker 3: No, clearly, I'm not asking y'all.
- 7:43Speaker 9: Well, I don't know, I mean truly, like I really
- 7:46Speaker 9: really like him, like you know, I've been this is
- 7:51Speaker 9: six months of my life. But it's like it seems
- 7:56Speaker 9: so selfish and I needed that job. I went in
- 7:58Speaker 9: there for the job, Like, I don't know.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Do you have a job now?
- 8:05Speaker 9: I do? I do have a job.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Do you love it?
- 8:11Speaker 9: Yeah? I like it. I don't think that it would
- 8:13Speaker 9: have been quite as good as.
- 8:17Speaker 1: If she has a.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Job that she absolutely loves. She's a man that she
- 8:20Speaker 3: absolutely loves.
- 8:21Speaker 1: All down the.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Road, he is carving the path for her life.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I think it's a red flag. I agree, it's a
- 8:28Speaker 1: it's a blessing that you see this red flag. Now,
- 8:30Speaker 1: Thank the stars.
- 8:32Speaker 8: Think he's going to manipulate other things down the road,
- 8:35Speaker 8: the friends you meet, the future jobs you have, right.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Well, good luck. That's I mean, everybody's got an opinion here,
- 8:42Speaker 1: Tanya has hers, We have ours and good luck with it. Elina,
- 8:44Speaker 1: thanks for reaching out.
- 8:46Speaker 7: Yes, you guys.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Got a quote of the day on the way for
- 8:51Speaker 1: you on this Monday morning. Check this out if you
- 8:56Speaker 1: haven't brushed your teeth or you're about to, They say,
- 9:01Speaker 1: using your non dominant hand permanently boosts mental clarity and creativity.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It's more challenging. It's annoying, but more challenging. It gets
- 9:12Speaker 1: does brain cells. I do it, you do do it,
- 9:14Speaker 1: you can do it, you would do it.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:17Speaker 1: This which changes the side of your brain like it
- 9:19Speaker 1: gets new brain cells to grow. Why not grow new
- 9:22Speaker 1: brain cells in the morning while you're brushing your teeth.
- 9:24Speaker 8: What is it when you can use both hands and medexterous?
- 9:28Speaker 5: That that?
- 9:30Speaker 8: I think my daughter Savellah, who's almost four, is that
- 9:34Speaker 8: she uses both hands.
- 9:35Speaker 3: She writes with her left, colors with her right.
- 9:38Speaker 1: She could be amazing.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Both hands.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Wow, that's talent because it's difficult for mekry it. Today.
- 9:45Speaker 1: We have a quote on this Monday, here we go.
- 9:49Speaker 1: We should be lifting each other up and cheering each
- 9:52Speaker 1: other on, not trying to outshine one another. The sky
- 9:57Speaker 1: would be awfully dark with just one star.
- 10:02Speaker 5: All aen.
- 10:05Speaker 1: One on two point seven Kiss FM LA is on
- 10:09Speaker 1: good morning, Hi, Kiss FM. Let's run down what's happening
- 10:14Speaker 1: right now in southern California, Siciny, what do we have?
- 10:16Speaker 10: Kiss FM headlines with siciny well in Magnitude four point
- 10:20Speaker 10: two earthquake was supported yesterday morning in the Fraser Park
- 10:24Speaker 10: area north of LA and was felt as far as
- 10:27Speaker 10: Santa Clarita, Marina, del Rey and Agora Hills.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Flooding was reported near the Boyle.
- 10:32Speaker 8: Heights warehouse fire, adding to the ongoing concerns in a
- 10:36Speaker 8: neighborhood still grappling with the aftermath of the massive industrial fire.
- 10:41Speaker 8: A stretch of northbound Suppulvita Boulevard near Lax will be
- 10:45Speaker 8: closed next weekend as crews work on roadway improvements in
- 10:48Speaker 8: the area. And Meta took down a new AI feature
- 10:52Speaker 8: for Instagram just days after it debuted and the immediate
- 10:56Speaker 8: public backlash it received.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Kiss FM. So this is interesting, Sisiny. Yes, you can
- 11:04Speaker 1: tell us a little bit about this, but I guess
- 11:05Speaker 1: the question you want to think about is if you
- 11:07Speaker 1: could have a computer, something aish or smart tell you your
- 11:12Speaker 1: life expectancy by giving it some data, would you want
- 11:16Speaker 1: to know. So first while you ponder that, what's the deal?
- 11:19Speaker 8: Okay, So this biotech company has developed an aging clock
- 11:23Speaker 8: that uses information from the cells in your cheeks to
- 11:27Speaker 8: predict your biological age. Now it's just a swab and
- 11:32Speaker 8: you can buy this kit. It's like it's called the
- 11:34Speaker 8: Tally Age test kit and you swab your cheek and
- 11:37Speaker 8: then the company claims knowing that this info will give
- 11:40Speaker 8: you control of your health. And it's all positive, positive essentially.
- 11:44Speaker 8: But would you want to know?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:48Speaker 5: You would?
- 11:48Speaker 1: No, I would yeah, because I would navigate things a
- 11:52Speaker 1: certain way, like if I knew my life expectancy, I
- 11:56Speaker 1: might quit working. Now that's an interesting take, right, like
- 12:01Speaker 1: what if what if you told me bad news if
- 12:06Speaker 1: I have fifteen years left?
- 12:07Speaker 5: But right, but like it, okay, But it doesn't do
- 12:09Speaker 5: it like that. It doesn't tell you like when you
- 12:11Speaker 5: will die or how or anything like that.
- 12:13Speaker 8: It just shows the difference between your biological age and
- 12:16Speaker 8: your chronological age, which is I guess highly I guess
- 12:19Speaker 8: that's highly associated vitality.
- 12:21Speaker 1: But I still know that too, because maybe I can
- 12:25Speaker 1: you can, well you can engineer it, navigate it to
- 12:28Speaker 1: change by diet, exercise, uh less stress.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but you already know all that, So why do
- 12:35Speaker 3: you need this thing to.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Tell I don't know that. I don't know this.
- 12:39Speaker 5: This is taking your cells and stuff like this is
- 12:41Speaker 5: it seems legit.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't know my biological michnology, I know.
- 12:45Speaker 2: But you know that you can bio hack and the
- 12:47Speaker 2: way like your diet and the things that you eat
- 12:49Speaker 2: in the way that you live your life to to
- 12:52Speaker 2: slow the aging process or whatever.
- 12:55Speaker 3: So you already know that you can do on that.
- 12:56Speaker 8: So why do you what if you're someone that drinks
- 12:59Speaker 8: a lot of alcoho, Let's say, okay, like socially it
- 13:01Speaker 8: doesn't seem to be an issue.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Blah blah blah.
- 13:03Speaker 8: You take this kit and it tells you to be
- 13:04Speaker 8: based on the cells inside your body, like your body
- 13:06Speaker 8: type really should not have any alcohol ever, ever, ever
- 13:09Speaker 8: at all, you know what I mean. And so then
- 13:11Speaker 8: now you find that out at you know, thirty versus
- 13:14Speaker 8: maybe something worse coming down.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I would say that I'd rather like to retest.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Well, I'm yeah, me too.
- 13:19Speaker 3: I'd be like, I'd rather enjoy my alcohol.
- 13:24Speaker 1: But there are things stress, anxiety, exercise, vitamins, I don't
- 13:31Speaker 1: know what, die whatever. Then you can engineer your tap.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So the answers the I would like to I would
- 13:37Speaker 1: like to know that is expensive.
- 13:38Speaker 8: It's it's two hundred and fifty bucks, so it's not
- 13:40Speaker 8: like crazy crazy expensive. But yeah, I mean, if you're
- 13:42Speaker 8: gonna do something like this, go all in tally Age
- 13:47Speaker 8: test kit.
- 13:49Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 13:49Speaker 8: Tally age is all one word. T a l y
- 13:52Speaker 8: Age test kit does.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Not predict when or how you will die. That'd be great,
- 13:57Speaker 1: But just tell me how I'm.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Gonna gosh know that?
- 14:01Speaker 1: No, yeah, because then you'd be like sliding doors that
- 14:03Speaker 1: movie you could have woid.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I still have not seen. Well what if they
- 14:07Speaker 5: say a car? Then what you're never gonna get in
- 14:09Speaker 5: a car?
- 14:10Speaker 7: M h?
- 14:12Speaker 4: The bike.
- 14:15Speaker 1: All costs true? I mean it is if you were
- 14:19Speaker 1: gonna die, how would you want to go?
- 14:21Speaker 5: In my sleep?
- 14:24Speaker 1: That's it?
- 14:25Speaker 8: Just in my sleep, peacefully surrounded it, surrounded by my family.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 14:30Speaker 5: I don't I'd rather not. Well, we are gonna happen?
- 14:34Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, morbid?
- 14:37Speaker 5: How about you?
- 14:38Speaker 1: I think after eating too much and sleeping. Nancy and Montebello,
- 14:44Speaker 1: Nancy's up listening this morning. Appreciate that, Hi, Nancy Montabello
- 14:48Speaker 1: it's Ryan, Sis and Tanya. How can we help you?
- 14:51Speaker 7: Hi, I this is a situation. I have been talking
- 14:56Speaker 7: to this guy for about six months, you know, just
- 15:00Speaker 7: and bring him round my friends and there's my one friend,
- 15:03Speaker 7: it's like my really close friend, and bring him around.
- 15:08Speaker 7: He's like starstruck, like he is always like she's so beautiful.
- 15:11Speaker 7: I want to hook her up with my friend, like
- 15:15Speaker 7: my friends would love you, you know that kind of thing.
- 15:19Speaker 7: And I'm not like the jealous type, but you know,
- 15:22Speaker 7: at this point, you know, I kind of do feel
- 15:25Speaker 7: a little insecure, I guess you could say, because he's
- 15:28Speaker 7: always like she deserves the best, and she does.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but he doesn't need to be promoting it so hard, Yeah, right,
- 15:34Speaker 1: like a little too consumed with it.
- 15:38Speaker 7: Yes, that's what I'm saying. I'm like, Okay, it's a
- 15:41Speaker 7: little bit too much, you know.
- 15:42Speaker 12: What I mean, not too got this guy.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Your guy's got to have an O meter, you know,
- 15:47Speaker 1: he's got to have the meter to know like when
- 15:50Speaker 1: is supportive and when it's like, bro, quit talking about
- 15:53Speaker 1: her so much? Like are you thinking about her that much?
- 15:56Speaker 1: I heard she's the best in class? How much great?
- 16:01Speaker 7: So I've been with him for six months now, So
- 16:04Speaker 7: I feel like it's kind of that point where it's like,
- 16:06Speaker 7: you know, I need to say something, but I'm also
- 16:08Speaker 7: like nervous to say something.
- 16:09Speaker 8: You know, it just might be his personality too, like
- 16:13Speaker 8: is he naturally a flirt or so vocal?
- 16:16Speaker 1: I would watch this with this one woman specifically, okay
- 16:22Speaker 1: on it and you may need to give him a
- 16:24Speaker 1: little advice about his commenting and.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Frequently how does she say that?
- 16:29Speaker 1: I feel like, because I would say, I mean, I've heard,
- 16:31Speaker 1: I heard it.
- 16:32Speaker 7: Got it?
- 16:32Speaker 1: Like if when you guys go he's so hot that
- 16:35Speaker 1: Patrick Schwarzenegger is so hot, I'm like, guys, I got it.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I heard I heard you. The first three times, I
- 16:40Speaker 1: think I was used calling him high. But I know
- 16:44Speaker 1: when to stop. I know when to stop. Nancy, good
- 16:46Speaker 1: Luck one A two point seven kiss FM. Shall we
- 16:51Speaker 1: dear Ryan, Sisney and Tanya. It's time for Ryan's roses.
- 16:55Speaker 1: My husband sent a text to a group a group
- 16:57Speaker 1: chat that we're in with a bunch of couple of friends,
- 16:59Speaker 1: and it said, hey, he claims he meant to send
- 17:01Speaker 1: it to me, but I'm not buying it. I've done
- 17:03Speaker 1: this a million times.
- 17:04Speaker 5: Yeah, some of my phone groups.
- 17:06Speaker 1: People together, and then someone has to come around the
- 17:08Speaker 1: back door and say, you know that you sent that
- 17:09Speaker 1: to everybody and it's my bad.
- 17:12Speaker 3: You send random text to a lot of people. You
- 17:15Speaker 3: sent a group chat to everybody and sent it to
- 17:18Speaker 3: a wrong time.
- 17:18Speaker 8: Yeah, you sent me something that you definitely meant to
- 17:21Speaker 8: send to somebody else about like real.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Estate or something.
- 17:24Speaker 3: And you're like, oh, that wasn't for you, And I
- 17:25Speaker 3: was like, oh.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Okay, delete, So Sabrina, Uh, what's so bad about hey baby?
- 17:32Speaker 1: If he meant to send it just to you, why
- 17:33Speaker 1: do you question that about your husband?
- 17:36Speaker 12: Well, because he has never called me baby in you know,
- 17:42Speaker 12: eleven years, he's never called me baby, So.
- 17:44Speaker 1: He's never used hay baby to you. And you think,
- 17:48Speaker 1: who do you think he was hey babying?
- 17:51Speaker 12: Well, well that's the problem, right, I'm not sure you
- 17:55Speaker 12: sent it to like a group chat with you know,
- 17:58Speaker 12: all these three different couples, So it's like, who you
- 18:02Speaker 12: know was he did?
- 18:04Speaker 4: I thot?
- 18:05Speaker 12: I was like laughing it off, saying, you know, oh,
- 18:09Speaker 12: you must have meant to send it to me, But
- 18:11Speaker 12: inside I was like completely freaking out because he's never
- 18:14Speaker 12: called me hey baby one And when I confronted him.
- 18:19Speaker 12: He was laughing and saying like, oh, yeah, I meant
- 18:22Speaker 12: that for.
- 18:22Speaker 6: You, and I tried to delete it.
- 18:24Speaker 12: But then if he had meant to text me hey
- 18:28Speaker 12: baby for the first time in eleven years, he didn't
- 18:31Speaker 12: text me after that, you see what I mean. So
- 18:34Speaker 12: it's like, yeah, he should have tested me after that,
- 18:36Speaker 12: but he didn't.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Your I don't know. I don't know.
- 18:43Speaker 12: Maybe yeah, I have a feeling.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It's it's how long have you been married?
- 18:50Speaker 12: Well, we've been together for eleven years. We've been married
- 18:52Speaker 12: for seven years.
- 18:53Speaker 8: I mean, a pet name that has never used on you,
- 18:56Speaker 8: and then all of a sudden in a text is
- 18:58Speaker 8: kind of skinned striking strike.
- 19:00Speaker 1: All right, let's go. We're gonna make the call to
- 19:01Speaker 1: your husband next and find out and what we can
- 19:03Speaker 1: find out Ryan's roses.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Kiss.
- 19:05Speaker 1: We're in the middle of Ryan's roses if you just
- 19:07Speaker 1: got here quickly up to speed. She's married. Her husband
- 19:10Speaker 1: sent a hey baby text to the group. He's never
- 19:13Speaker 1: called her baby, so he said he was trying to
- 19:16Speaker 1: reach out to her and made a mistake sending to
- 19:18Speaker 1: the group. She thinks he's sending it to somebody else.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It's a new pet name. Essentially right. It's a new
- 19:22Speaker 1: pet name that was introduced, and she thinks it's sus
- 19:26Speaker 1: because he's never called her that, so she believes that
- 19:28Speaker 1: he is talking to somebody else. The question is who's
- 19:31Speaker 1: hey baby meant for? And what's going on there. We're
- 19:34Speaker 1: not offering the roses and see who's top of mind
- 19:35Speaker 1: right now for Ryan's roses. Sabrina, I need you to say, Ryan,
- 19:38Speaker 1: you have my permission to call, and then your husband's.
- 19:40Speaker 12: Name, Ryan, you've my permission to call it.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Right now? We will and we're going to see who
- 19:48Speaker 1: he's thinking about. Who he's sending the roses to romantic roses,
- 19:53Speaker 1: it's somebody else. We will question him. Be very quiet
- 19:56Speaker 1: until we tell him. He's on the air. Here we
- 19:58Speaker 1: go and good luck.
- 20:11Speaker 9: Hello.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Hi, can I speak to Ethan please?
- 20:15Speaker 4: Yeah? This is Ethan.

- 20:48Speaker 5: It's a beautiful arrangement.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Oh, it is a dozen roses free.
- 20:53Speaker 5: They're free. I don't need anything from you.
- 20:56Speaker 8: We do ask like if you like them, feel free
- 20:59Speaker 8: to leave a Yelp review, were spread the word or
- 21:02Speaker 8: come back as a customer one day.
- 21:03Speaker 5: But these ones are free. They're absolutely free.
- 21:08Speaker 6: Interesting m h yeah you know what?
- 21:13Speaker 4: Sure? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that would work great.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Who would you like to send them to?
- 21:18Speaker 1: Uh?
- 21:19Speaker 6: Her name is Lauren?
- 21:20Speaker 5: Lauren?
- 21:22Speaker 3: And what would you like to put on the card?
- 21:24Speaker 8: Oh?
- 21:24Speaker 1: My god, what what.
- 21:25Speaker 5: Would you like to put on the card?
- 21:28Speaker 4: No card?
- 21:30Speaker 5: No card, no, no card?
- 21:33Speaker 1: No.
- 21:34Speaker 6: The address is six seven.
- 21:35Speaker 3: I don't need to.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Ask broadcast in the radio. Don't say your address. We've
- 21:38Speaker 1: got your wife, Sabrina on the line. Who is Lauren?
- 21:44Speaker 9: I knew it, I knew it.
- 21:50Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 21:52Speaker 5: Lauren?
- 21:55Speaker 9: Lauren is one of the it's one of the other
- 21:57Speaker 9: moms on our on our group chat.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I knew it, Lauren.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Lauren's married, bro, I don't know what you're talking.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Are you? Well, then why are you sending her red roses?
- 22:12Speaker 1: If she's married, like a nice thing to do. No,
- 22:16Speaker 1: it's not nice thing to do. You're you're gaslighting me.
- 22:19Speaker 12: Now that drawing game. I knew you were playing a
- 22:22Speaker 12: drawing gam and you weren't looking at each other, and.
- 22:23Speaker 4: I knew, I knew it.
- 22:28Speaker 12: How could you? Oh my god, I'm calling I'm calling Eric.
- 22:33Speaker 9: I'm calling Eric right now.
- 22:39Speaker 4: It call whoever you want doing?
- 22:42Speaker 10: Nothing is?
- 22:42Speaker 4: Nothing is going on?
- 22:44Speaker 10: No?
- 22:45Speaker 1: Okay, look Ethan, this doesn't look good. Your wife thinks
- 22:48Speaker 1: you're cheating. You just said another woman's name. You sent
- 22:51Speaker 1: a hey baby text to the group. You meant to
- 22:53Speaker 1: send it to you say your wife, Sabrina. It seems
- 22:55Speaker 1: apparent you meant to send it to Lauren. Just tell
- 22:57Speaker 1: us what's going on. Let's make this easier.
- 23:01Speaker 4: You know, you come up with whatever you want, all right?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Are you talking to me or your wife?
- 23:08Speaker 12: Come up with whatever I want? Oh, I'm calling Eric
- 23:12Speaker 12: right now.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Good luck, he's gone, and make that call. Thank sorry,
- 23:19Speaker 1: thank you for she's going to wow. Well, sticky, I
- 23:27Speaker 1: mean he thinks it's a nice gesture to send a
- 23:29Speaker 1: married woman red roses, Like on air with Ryan Seacrest, Rachel.
- 23:38Speaker 4: How are you?
- 23:40Speaker 5: I'm good?
- 23:40Speaker 9: How are you?
- 23:41Speaker 5: Ryan?
- 23:41Speaker 1: We're okay, We're good. Actually looking yeah, looking alive.
- 23:44Speaker 7: Here.
- 23:44Speaker 1: So your new roommate is doing something. What's happening?
- 23:50Speaker 13: Yeah, So I recently moved in with a new roommate
- 23:53Speaker 13: and she's vegan and I am not vegan. But she's
- 23:57Speaker 13: been awkwardly making comments about my food. And the biggest
- 24:00Speaker 13: thing is she's been writing, like physically writing on my
- 24:04Speaker 13: non vegan food.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And I say, in pen, what's she writing?
- 24:09Speaker 11: I sent you a picture of what she wrote on
- 24:11Speaker 11: the milk carton.
- 24:13Speaker 13: She wrote, not your mom, not your milk.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Okay, not your mom, not your milk. I don't get it.
- 24:26Speaker 1: That must be her milk. In the back, I see
- 24:28Speaker 1: three bottles of milk, almond milk.
- 24:30Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 13: I thought it was a joke at first, but it's
- 24:34Speaker 13: actually happened a couple of times. And now can you
- 24:39Speaker 13: explain to.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Me what she means?
- 24:41Speaker 8: Because your mom is the one that buys the milk
- 24:42Speaker 8: for the house, and she's like this, I'm not your mom,
- 24:44Speaker 8: I'm not your this is not your milk.
- 24:46Speaker 3: No, it's like it's it's not that's not it. It's
- 24:49Speaker 3: like it's a cow the cat. It's not your mom.
- 24:51Speaker 3: You shouldn't be drink milk.
- 24:52Speaker 5: You should only be drinking. She's like judging.
- 24:58Speaker 1: She's judging because of that. I she writes a upside
- 25:03Speaker 1: down frowny face on it on the carton.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Yeah, oh so she graffitied your milk. Now it all
- 25:11Speaker 5: makes sense to me.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah, this girl has got to go h O T
- 25:15Speaker 2: T O g O. It's just so inappropriate. You're sharing space,
- 25:20Speaker 2: you're sharing red.
- 25:21Speaker 1: With her as a roommate.
- 25:23Speaker 5: Yeah, good question.
- 25:25Speaker 13: She the friend of one of my friends from high school,
- 25:28Speaker 13: and I haven't brought it up to my friend yet.
- 25:30Speaker 13: I'm not really sure. I don't want to call drama
- 25:33Speaker 13: because we were both looking for Really.
- 25:35Speaker 5: How about you just ask her? Please don't write all
- 25:36Speaker 5: my food.
- 25:37Speaker 1: I just don't like this uncomfortable dynamic.
- 25:40Speaker 5: I get it, but it's never gonna.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Be comfortable after this.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Yeah, please don't write.
- 25:45Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I think this is you got to find the least
- 25:49Speaker 1: path of resistance here, which maybe just to make this
- 25:52Speaker 1: this episode go away, And at the right time realized
- 25:56Speaker 1: that either you need a third in there to mix
- 25:58Speaker 1: it up, or you need to just not be with
- 25:59Speaker 1: her as a roommate, or start like.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Leaving your burgers in the fridge like unwrapped.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you could play the same game she wants.
- 26:08Speaker 3: To, like ride on your food. Then you won't give
- 26:10Speaker 3: her packaging to write on. Just put it in their road.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I just raw mean.
- 26:14Speaker 8: Yeah, this is gonna get messat. Have a conversation with her,
- 26:20Speaker 8: nip it in the bud. See where you go from there.
- 26:23Speaker 1: All right, Rachel, thanks for calling. Roommates can be totally miss,
- 26:27Speaker 1: totally a miss.
- 26:28Speaker 8: But when you get it right, she said, writing on
- 26:31Speaker 8: her food, I was like, oh my gosh, I did
- 26:32Speaker 8: this in college. We all wrote on our food like
- 26:34Speaker 8: this is fine.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Yeah toxic. I asked you a question. It's one of
- 26:38Speaker 1: two point seven kiss FM. Would you ever try and
- 26:41Speaker 1: match make your kids or would your parents ever try
- 26:45Speaker 1: and set you up but not only set you up
- 26:47Speaker 1: with somebody that they know the parents of, but actually
- 26:52Speaker 1: do it through Is it a matchmaking app.
- 26:56Speaker 8: Like the apps like Hinge, Bumble whatever you give you
- 27:00Speaker 8: give your phone to your parent and say do you
- 27:03Speaker 8: know what you swipe for me?
- 27:04Speaker 5: You try to pick the match, so.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Hold on for So for example, I would give my
- 27:08Speaker 1: mom Tinder and she would pick the person for me,
- 27:11Speaker 1: and then she call and go, hey, I say this person,
- 27:13Speaker 1: you're gonna go yes, don't judge. You have to judge
- 27:18Speaker 1: the apbsence about the person.
- 27:19Speaker 5: Not everyone judges tender.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Why does everyone judge tinder?
- 27:23Speaker 5: Kind of like that.
- 27:23Speaker 1: By the way, I have a funny story. So I
- 27:26Speaker 1: was talking to uh Ad, my doctor about a grinder
- 27:31Speaker 1: a coffee bee, okay, and uh, I don't have his
- 27:36Speaker 1: cell phone number, and so the next day, Uh, this
- 27:41Speaker 1: weird number comes in. I don't recognize the number, and
- 27:44Speaker 1: you know, you can read the first couple of sentences
- 27:45Speaker 1: of the all I saw was Grinder, And I was like,
- 27:50Speaker 1: is this grinder trying to like solicit me?
- 27:54Speaker 5: Like, do you want to?
- 27:59Speaker 1: I forgot coffee grinder. I thought it was Grinder the
- 28:01Speaker 1: app trying to reach out turns out as my doctor
- 28:04Speaker 1: recommending a coffee grinder.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Oh that's so good.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Would you see how one could be confused? Yeah?
- 28:09Speaker 3: Which would he recommend?
- 28:10Speaker 1: By the way, I can't remember anyway? Can you explain
- 28:16Speaker 1: what parents are doing and how they're doing this?
- 28:17Speaker 8: Yeah? So It's kind of stepped from a few viral
- 28:19Speaker 8: stories that have gone all over social This twenty seven
- 28:22Speaker 8: year old named Esdi moved back home after a really
- 28:25Speaker 8: bad breakup, and her mom decided to help her get
- 28:27Speaker 8: back out there by literally taking over the dating apps
- 28:29Speaker 8: and she went full matchmaker. She even bought the hinge
- 28:33Speaker 8: plus account, which I didn't even know that you could
- 28:35Speaker 8: pay to get a better hinge. And then her daughter
- 28:39Speaker 8: was all for it, trusting her mom's opinion, really kind
- 28:42Speaker 8: of just stepping into this and starting to go on
- 28:44Speaker 8: dates that her mom was choosing for her. And then
- 28:48Speaker 8: they basically shared this. And there's more parents and there's
- 28:51Speaker 8: more stories out there of parents doing this now. And
- 28:54Speaker 8: as a mom, like, I would love nothing more in
- 28:56Speaker 8: a few years to like match my kids up.
- 28:58Speaker 5: I mean, we kind of do it now. We can't
- 29:00Speaker 5: do it now we have friends.
- 29:01Speaker 8: They were like, oh my god, they're going to marry
- 29:02Speaker 8: each other one day and then we'll be in laws.
- 29:05Speaker 1: All right, Well let's not wait, Michaela, you're closer to
- 29:07Speaker 1: your mom, you're of dating age. Let's get her in
- 29:09Speaker 1: on this, right. I've talked to her before, only she
- 29:13Speaker 1: got nothing to do.
- 29:14Speaker 5: But my mom you don't know that.
- 29:17Speaker 8: Come on, you know what, In all, my sister matched
- 29:21Speaker 8: Michael and I.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Up and sister is very different than my My sister's
- 29:25Speaker 2: very mommish, like she's eight years older than me, and
- 29:27Speaker 2: she's always like that bossy mom feeling.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Of sister, different than mom. And I'm happy that she
- 29:33Speaker 3: matched us.
- 29:34Speaker 1: My point, you're welcome, Mark, I'm gonna give you a segment.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You call my mother and ask her she wants to
- 29:39Speaker 1: do this for me? Oh, okay, I can do it today, tomorrow,
- 29:41Speaker 1: any day, schedule book her, schedule her, call money, this
- 29:45Speaker 1: idea to her and see. I want to know what
- 29:46Speaker 1: she would look for for me?
- 29:48Speaker 5: Yes, what are like the key qualities that she wants
- 29:50Speaker 5: for you?
- 29:51Speaker 1: Okay, that's got's coming up one day, I don't know,
- 29:53Speaker 1: later todayrow this week, we will get.
- 29:56Speaker 3: So we would get Connie's phone.
- 29:58Speaker 1: We understand how it works, honey, we been through all
- 30:00Speaker 1: of it. We know we got it. We don't need
- 30:02Speaker 1: to repeat it.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Well, we're gonna have to help her.
- 30:03Speaker 5: I'm sure she's got to do it.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, let's just talk to her and let's get her.
- 30:08Speaker 1: But I don't know what she'd even.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Look for exactly start there, kiss up.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Ever, Ryan Seacrest sisiting over there, and Tanya over here
- 30:17Speaker 1: and the back room back there.
- 30:19Speaker 5: Hey, lets see who we are.
- 30:22Speaker 1: It's what we do every single morning, bring it together routine.
- 30:26Speaker 1: We also get a little bit of advice every once
- 30:28Speaker 1: in a while, but can we take our own advice?
- 30:29Speaker 5: Knit so much?
- 30:32Speaker 1: I will say, since I've officiated a wedding, my business
- 30:36Speaker 1: has gone up. People have been asking me if I
- 30:37Speaker 1: would officiate their wedding. Of course, I've got some offers.
- 30:44Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say, people are like
- 30:46Speaker 2: hitting on you more like it up your game.
- 30:49Speaker 1: No, not yet, Now that takes time. Tanya, Yeah, I
- 30:54Speaker 1: have to repost all that stuff about fourteen or any traction.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, because I feel like it. You were just are
- 31:00Speaker 2: so tender and sweet. I feel like prospects could see
- 31:03Speaker 2: that and be like Hender Ronny.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll see. Sophia. Let's get to your issue here.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Thanks for listening to as a long beach. So you
- 31:11Speaker 1: need our advice. Your sister's boyfriend is about to propose,
- 31:15Speaker 1: and you know about the proposal, yes, okay, and you
- 31:20Speaker 1: don't like it for her, I don't.
- 31:23Speaker 11: So they've been dating for about a year and a half.
- 31:26Speaker 11: And she knows the proposal is coming because he put
- 31:30Speaker 11: it on his calendar, so she sat on the calendar,
- 31:33Speaker 11: so she knows that the proposal is coming. It's funny
- 31:39Speaker 11: is to take her to the beach and just get
- 31:42Speaker 11: down on one knee and propose. But me and my
- 31:46Speaker 11: little sister, we spoke to her best friend and be
- 31:49Speaker 11: all agreed that she needs more than that, because my
- 31:54Speaker 11: sister is very like she looks. I mean, for my
- 31:56Speaker 11: baby shower, she spent alone, like a thousand dollars on flowers.
- 32:01Speaker 11: Obviously she I know she needs. She likes that stuff,
- 32:04Speaker 11: you know.
- 32:07Speaker 1: So I don't think she's just going to be happy
- 32:09Speaker 1: about the simplicity of a beautiful beach proposal at sunset.
- 32:15Speaker 11: Oh that's another thing. He's not doing it at sunset.
- 32:18Speaker 11: He's going to do it at five pm.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Oh it's a little too hot still.
- 32:22Speaker 11: Yeah, And the pictures, I think what's going to be
- 32:25Speaker 11: like too.
- 32:26Speaker 7: It shadows.
- 32:28Speaker 1: What do you think he should do? And are you
- 32:30Speaker 1: going to direct the proposal or don't you got to step.
- 32:33Speaker 5: In and help?
- 32:34Speaker 11: Yeah, I think he should just do flowers like roses
- 32:38Speaker 11: on the sand. I don't know if you guys have
- 32:40Speaker 11: seen that set up, right. It's very simple. It's just
- 32:43Speaker 11: a line of roses on the sand and like four candles,
- 32:46Speaker 11: and it looks beautiful on pictures. And then I think
- 32:51Speaker 11: for sure he needs to decorate the house or something like.
- 32:54Speaker 4: So after the proposal, have you.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Gone him with any of these notes?
- 33:00Speaker 11: Yeah, he said that she doesn't want any of that because,
- 33:03Speaker 11: according to him, he's asked, do you want this? Lame ish?
- 33:09Speaker 11: And she said no, But I mean, who wouldn't if
- 33:12Speaker 11: you're asking like that.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Look, I've got no experience with proposing, So Sisney Tanya,
- 33:18Speaker 1: should she get involved and give the detailed direction.
- 33:21Speaker 8: I think if you can help in a way, he's
- 33:23Speaker 8: gonna need help because someone's.
- 33:24Speaker 5: Gonna have to go set up something right, And yeah, and.
- 33:28Speaker 8: If you want he wants pictures taken, who knows, right,
- 33:30Speaker 8: So I think like, instead of being so your idea sucks,
- 33:34Speaker 8: do what I want to do, be more like, let
- 33:36Speaker 8: me help you so that I can take some of
- 33:38Speaker 8: the pressure because this is such an important day and
- 33:40Speaker 8: you're going to be kind of nervous and kind of
- 33:42Speaker 8: like put him up on a pedestal a little bit,
- 33:44Speaker 8: you know, and then you can kind of still do
- 33:46Speaker 8: what you want to do that your sister.
- 33:48Speaker 5: You know your sister's gonna like.
- 33:49Speaker 1: The good news is we have time. We have time
- 33:53Speaker 1: to fix it. And just what just the tone and
- 33:56Speaker 1: style of Siciny's advice is perfect. Good luck, okay, Sophia,
- 34:02Speaker 1: and congratulations. By the way, I am ordained. I know
- 34:09Speaker 1: that have you seen the pictures?
- 34:15Speaker 3: You want him to cry?
- 34:16Speaker 13: You cry?
- 34:17Speaker 1: I will sit at the rehearsal dinner next to a
- 34:19Speaker 1: couple and I will cry. You can see the photos.
- 34:22Speaker 11: Okay, sounds a plan. I will call and book you.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Thank you, Sophia. I appreciate you understanding. My calendar is very,
- 34:28Speaker 1: very booked, so I will have to schedule. Take care
- 34:31Speaker 1: of Sophia, and good luck with this rest of your sister.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Appreciate you. I cannot unsee Uncle Cookie naked in the
- 34:38Speaker 1: cold plunge from your wedding. Uncle Cookie was naked in
- 34:42Speaker 1: the cold plunge. No one gets naked in a cold plunge.
- 34:45Speaker 2: A lot of other guests were telling us about that
- 34:48Speaker 2: as well, that were there.
- 34:50Speaker 1: He was the only naked person on the island. You
- 34:54Speaker 1: do not want him to live this life like that.
- 34:56Speaker 1: It's fine, trust.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Me, be free exactly.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Not that no cold plums did not help. That's it
- 35:05Speaker 1: for us today, Kiss FM. We're back tomorrow with some
- 35:10Speaker 1: more action, including a second date update. Thanks guys, have
- 35:14Speaker 1: a good one. It's Kiss FM.
