Latest / Inside Integration / Episode 120: CEDIA Strikes Back (with, uh, a Battle of the Bands?)
Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to the Inside Integration Podcast.
- 0:01My name is Chris. I am joined again by my partner
- 0:03Jason. What is up, everybody?
- 0:06And we've got a little bit of a follow up to last week's episode
- 0:11for, you know, the three people who listened consecutively.
- 0:14The the CDA crowd was like, oh really, listen to those.
- 0:18It's like, it's like as soon as that thing came out, like there
- 0:21was a press release like and and I guess maybe somebody listens
- 0:24to us. Probably not, but probably
- 0:27entirely coincidental since nobody listens to this.
- 0:29You think you, you think we're done?
- 0:31Watch this pal. Here's a press release
- 0:35announcing our next four, Our next 4 cities.
- 0:38The biggest news that comes out of it is that they're they're
- 0:42rotating away from Denver. So any of the Jason specifically
- 0:47brought this up last episode? As if he's clairvoyant,
- 0:51strangely. Enough.
- 0:52I'm not. I'm not.
- 0:54I did not have this information prior to the previous episode.
- 0:57I found out after I think it actually news came out the same
- 1:00day of our episode. So there's that.
- 1:02You. Might be right, you might be
- 1:04right, you know, And yeah, for legal purposes, Jason had no
- 1:06advance knowledge of this whatsoever.
- 1:08I did not. But.
- 1:10Legal or otherwise. There, yeah, there was a you
- 1:13know, they, they had an article in CE Pro that they are rotating
- 1:16away from Denver and going from this year's show in September is
- 1:21going to be in Denver and then next year's is in Vegas.
- 1:24The year after that is in Orlando.
- 1:26And then it goes back to Vegas in 2029 and then it goes to
- 1:28Dallas in 20-30. If if Dallas still exists as a
- 1:32city on the surface of the sun. What's interesting about that is
- 1:37as a follow up to our last episode is that those are the
- 1:40cities where Infocom are. So you know, CD is going to be
- 1:45in Vegas. Infocom is in Vegas every year.
- 1:48Orlando, same thing. That's an interesting situation,
- 1:52but it kind of speaks to do you. Think they're conditioning us I.
- 1:55You know, it seems convenient. Like let me tinfoil hat myself
- 1:59here. Tinfoil hat time.
- 2:01I mean, it, you know, Infocom is in, you know, it, it's sort of
- 2:06Infocom is in Orlando in January, right?
- 2:08And then it's in Vegas in June and CEDIA is either the second
- 2:14week or 4th week of, of September every single year.
- 2:17So they're, you know, they're close enough.
- 2:20I, I mean, maybe, maybe there's a conditioning going on here.
- 2:23Maybe there's, you know, maybe the, the future is that, I mean,
- 2:26I don't know what it takes to like book and secure dates and
- 2:30convention centers and that kind of thing and how easy it is to,
- 2:32to back out of those and, and whatever.
- 2:34But yeah, interesting. Right.
- 2:38Like OK. There's there's a lot of layers.
- 2:40To that, it's Orlando, it's Vegas.
- 2:42I mean, I personally, you know, again, like the Expo Center in
- 2:47Denver didn't seem like it was bursting at the seams, like they
- 2:51needed more space. You know, to kind of speak to
- 2:53your point where you said, you know, yeah, maybe the location
- 2:57fatigue is real, right? Like integrators have been going
- 3:00to Denver for five years or whatever.
- 3:02It's been OK, well, let's go somewhere new.
- 3:04I mean, why you would pick Vegas or Orlando, All right, but.
- 3:09I mean, sure man. I mean, at least they decided to
- 3:12go later in September in Orlando.
- 3:16It's not like September 1st, it's September 26th through 20.
- 3:208th I mean dead center to hurricane season, for what it's
- 3:23worth, but. Let's, I mean, come on, let's
- 3:26let's roll the dice. If we're going to roll them,
- 3:28let's, let's roll them together with everybody in the industry,
- 3:32same city. Let's not just have.
- 3:34Those are the best shows. Partially affected?
- 3:36Let's make sure that the entire industry could be at risk.
- 3:41That's how we're going to get new blood.
- 3:42We're literally going to kill the old.
- 3:44But the, it's a culling. I'm like, there's my, my first
- 3:49thought, of course, is one more time in Denver.
- 3:52So we'll play that Daft Punk song, you know, we'll get
- 3:54through that. And then 2027 is Las Vegas, NV,
- 3:58September 8th through 10. And, you know, there are a lot
- 4:03of, you know, Vegas has its ups and downs with pricing and
- 4:07reputation and all of that good stuff.
- 4:11The the amount of attrition is something that I'm interested in
- 4:18sort of measuring if there's a way to do that in Vegas, Like
- 4:21how many people can survive three days in that city, you
- 4:26know, unchecked, Unchained, you know, with, you know, the
- 4:31copious amounts of booze and elicit whatever there is to do
- 4:36provided by our own channel, let alone of the the native level of
- 4:41debauchery that lives in said in said city.
- 4:46And then you book in that with Orlando the next year after down
- 4:50on International Drive, I'm guessing?
- 4:51It I mean it would have to be right like.
- 4:53I mean, it has like well cater. Let's let's be nice and say that
- 4:59it caters to the convention crowd that may not be back for a
- 5:02year, right? I got to say this like 2028
- 5:06Orlando, FL I'm just going to go ahead and make a proclamation
- 5:09right now. We're going to do an inside
- 5:13integration, you know, secret event where if you sign up for
- 5:18it, we're going to go to places in Orlando that I know that
- 5:22don't suck are not near the Convention Center and we're
- 5:26going to have a good. Time inside Orlando and then
- 5:28we're all going back to your folks place afterwards.
- 5:31Oh well, they live in Ocala now, so that.
- 5:33Would be a weird be a weird trip.
- 5:36On horse there will be, there will be chime clocks, there will
- 5:40be shot because there will be there will be background noise
- 5:45that will make everybody go, oh, I'm back at grandma's house, so
- 5:49is this. Doily all right.
- 5:51Yeah, exactly. So if you're a past listener of
- 5:54this show, you'll know exactly what we're talking about.
- 5:58But but yeah, it's, you know, sorry not to not to derail here.
- 6:02It's sure it's interesting to say the least, you know that
- 6:05that would come out right. So you know, there's this
- 6:07acquisition news, right? And then right on the heels of
- 6:09that, it's almost like, you know, there's, you know,
- 6:12somebody felt a little bit threatened, Hey, we got to get
- 6:13something out in the in the press or whatever and we got to
- 6:15get. There's a quote in the press,
- 6:17actually, if you you just happen to mention that Jason McGraw,
- 6:20the group vice president of and show director, says our audience
- 6:24has been clear. They value variety,
- 6:26accessibility and the opportunity to experience the
- 6:29show in different regions. So that's a clear rebuke of
- 6:33we're not doing Denver again, bro.
- 6:36Yeah, never, never to be seen again.
- 6:38And you know, I, I mean, I'm old enough to remember when it used
- 6:41to rotate and it was in Indy and like everybody hated Indy, you
- 6:45know, after, after so many years, right.
- 6:47And then nothing, nothing against Indy.
- 6:49It's not a bad city. But like, you know, it, it's
- 6:51sort of the show got a little stale in Indy.
- 6:54And you know, it was in New Orleans for a little while and
- 6:56it rotated around. It was in Dallas and, you know,
- 6:59kind of bounced around, man, I, I really thought that Denver
- 7:03was, was a good, you know, it was a good spot, right?
- 7:06Like that seemed to be pretty easy to get to for the East
- 7:10Coast or the West Coast or whatever.
- 7:12You know, I I think maybe you're going to see some split
- 7:15attendance and again, you know, with, I strongly feel like
- 7:20you're going to see a lot more integrators who go to Infocom
- 7:23and maybe give it a shot right now that, you know, light a
- 7:26palooza is part of that. Like, OK, well, you know, maybe
- 7:28Denver, maybe this is going to be my last CD or maybe I'm going
- 7:31to skip the CD because I know I'm going to go to Infocom at
- 7:35the next one and see, you know, see how that goes and, and
- 7:37what's there for me? Yeah, man.
- 7:41You know, they're this is this is an adaptation, right?
- 7:43Like this is, you know, they're, they're, they're, they're
- 7:46dancing. They're they're, they're
- 7:49definitely dancing. Changing venues is interesting.
- 7:52I would have much rather see them turn around and say, you
- 7:54know what, we're going to have two full days of, you know,
- 7:58targeted education. It's still going to be in
- 8:00Denver. But these are the things that
- 8:02we're going to make different about the show and give people
- 8:04compelling reasons to go wherever.
- 8:05Because you know, it's if, if there's a compelling reason to
- 8:09go, people are going to go, whether it's in Fargo, ND or New
- 8:12Orleans or Vegas or I hope. It's not in Fargo.
- 8:15I think that would be, I think you'd get a ton of people go to
- 8:19Fargo just because when else are you ever going to go to Fargo?
- 8:22You know you're. How would you get there?
- 8:24Would you take a buggy and a horse?
- 8:26Like what I think? I think Stagecoach would be the
- 8:28move, you know? Do you have to do it on the back
- 8:32of a Harley? And like you got a ride?
- 8:35There's a, there's a one, there's A1 percenter transit
- 8:41system where you have to ride on the back of a Harley.
- 8:44Some some big guy's bagger. Yeah, you're riding a.
- 8:46Bitch. Oh, you're definitely not
- 8:49driving yourself. Into the way well, you know, and
- 8:52I mean that brings up an interesting point like maybe
- 8:54just have CEDIA in Sturgis every year like that area could use
- 8:58something I don't know yeah, it just seems like we're we're less
- 9:02of a, you know, topless floppy organization than than than.
- 9:08Would yeah, we're we're less of a, you know, we're less 2 band
- 9:12aids and a cork and more of a, you know, bubble, bubble coating
- 9:18on clouds type of scenario, right?
- 9:20Like that's kind of our, it's kind of our vibe, but right.
- 9:23Trainers and yes, sweat suits, polo shirts, Yeah.
- 9:27Age inappropriate shoes on a 70 year old man, it's all good.
- 9:32It's all good. It's all good, God damn it.
- 9:35When I look at when I look at the rest of this news article
- 9:40here with the press release around this change, it's saying
- 9:43that there's a bunch of other changes that have been offered
- 9:46through feedback, which is kind of fun to look at here.
- 9:49What? And it brings me back to a
- 9:50different time. So it says here.
- 9:53Additional updates to the show's upcoming 2026 outing include a
- 9:57revamp set of educational and thought leadership.
- 9:59Programming. As well as several
- 10:01extracurricular updates that include a new installation skill
- 10:05challenge. Bringing it back.
- 10:08Battle of the Bands and will take place at opening night and
- 10:15post show festivities. So see to bring it back to the
- 10:20Ogs man. I like that.
- 10:22I like that. You know, I think that's, that's
- 10:24an interesting area. I think it's, you know, you,
- 10:29you're seeing less and less, you know, field level technicians
- 10:34who are going to take part in that sort of thing.
- 10:36So, you know, I hope it gets some good whatever.
- 10:38You're not going to see principles out there, and that's
- 10:40kind of what CD has become is. I want to see Ty Meyer loading.
- 10:45I, I don't think tie with a full head of steam, I don't think
- 10:50could be beat. I don't.
- 10:51Think I I mean, I said I'm saying that in earnest like I
- 10:54wanna save some of these guys that are are legit that can
- 10:58throw down, you know that that built these boxes really get in
- 11:04there and make it happen and show their guys how it's done.
- 11:07Super fun. I think, I think you would be
- 11:09able to pull that. But yes, that specific example
- 11:11that my money would be on that man for sure.
- 11:13Absolutely. Especially against never.
- 11:17Mind yeah anyways. But but no, I, I think that's, I
- 11:21think that's an interesting thing.
- 11:22Like I remember again, being a young tech and going to these
- 11:25things and like, you know, we, we brought, you know, the, the
- 11:28biggest animal in our crew to do that 12 channel speaker craft
- 11:32amplifier launch competition and.
- 11:35Oh, how far can you throw? It remember, I mean remember
- 11:37those days like speaker? Craft throw the Niles throw the
- 11:39ZR 1200. Whatever the heaviest whole
- 11:42house amp that they can get their hands on and get
- 11:44sponsored, that was the one that you would Chuck.
- 11:46And yeah, we had this giant bowl of a man throw this thing and
- 11:51did really well, you know? But yeah, but those are the fun
- 11:55things. And you know, if if they're if
- 11:58they're kind of carving out like that first night of of the show
- 12:01for those activities, I think that's a good thing because
- 12:04that's typically there were some things that were, were done, you
- 12:08know, during during that time period.
- 12:10But it's kind of morphed into like, OK, well, that's when you
- 12:12take vendors to dinner and that's when you do this.
- 12:14And that's when, you know, maybe you take your team out or
- 12:15whatever. If CD is carving that out and
- 12:18it's not just the award show or, or, you know, whatever else
- 12:22they're trying to do, Like I think that's a good thing.
- 12:23You know, that kind of keeps the keep the party rolling a little
- 12:26bit. Well I clicked on Battle of
- 12:30Bands just because I thought that would be.
- 12:33It was a hyperlink and it actually says that they are
- 12:39opening the First night event to include a Battle of the Bands.
- 12:44So if you know Jimmy Paschke, I know you're out there.
- 12:47Listening and. I know.
- 12:49Yeah. Well, Daniel Nilson, there's a
- 12:51few guys that I can think of, Chad Russell, like there's a few
- 12:54folks that I know that either can sing or perform or dance or
- 12:58produce or do something like I'm interested to actually get get
- 13:02my eyeballs on maybe some of this Like that actually sounds
- 13:06kind of fun. They got to, they really got to
- 13:08make sure that they market that because that I remember, I
- 13:11forget if it was last year or two years ago, like they did
- 13:12some pickleball thing and there was, you know, there was some
- 13:15chatter about that, but it wasn't it wasn't really.
- 13:18Well, that was. You know, that was, that was
- 13:20John Siaka kind of doing that on his own.
- 13:22I don't think that was. Well, no, there was.
- 13:23It was a whole CD of thing and sanctioned.
- 13:26Oh, was it? Yeah.
- 13:26It was a whole deal and see, and that's that's what I'm saying
- 13:29that information that's probably.
- 13:32Positive that their marketing campaign didn't land properly.
- 13:35I thought that was John's deal. Thank you for making my point.
- 13:37And, and it may have started that way, but it absolutely was,
- 13:40was, was a thing. And like, you know, I just don't
- 13:42know anybody who really kind of did it or got into it.
- 13:44But like, that's the stuff they need to push.
- 13:47Here's your community, you know, hey, we're all part of a
- 13:49community. Let's, you know, let's watch
- 13:51this battle of bands and root for this guy or do this or
- 13:53whatever. And then, you know, the
- 13:55installation skill thing, if, if I remember correctly, it was
- 13:59like the amp toss. It was like how fast you could
- 14:01fish a wire in a wall. Like that's fun, man.
- 14:04Like that's, that's some fun stuff.
- 14:06And as long as they market it right and push it and put a
- 14:09focus on it, that should be something that's, you know, that
- 14:13should be the thing. I mean, honestly, if they were
- 14:15not that they're, you know, not that they would ever do this,
- 14:17but if they turned around and every CD of regional, it's
- 14:21probably too late to do this, honestly.
- 14:23But like every CCD of regional Expo, if they had like, you
- 14:26know, like, what is it Ninja Warrior that does this?
- 14:31Like, you know, you've got all your feeder events, you know
- 14:34what I'm saying? Like.
- 14:35American Ninja Warrior. Yeah, there's much point.
- 14:38Like an American installation warrior, you know, you could
- 14:41build this thing, but you know, there's all these regional
- 14:43events you could do, you know, you could have kind of a
- 14:47filtering thing. And like, you know, maybe the
- 14:48winner of the regional events gets a free ticket to CEDIA or
- 14:52something like that. Just to encourage, you know,
- 14:55more than just the principle of a company, you know, to, to go,
- 14:58you know, that's just my thought.
- 15:02But yeah, man, it's, it's encouraging to see stuff like
- 15:05this. I, I still think it's
- 15:08interesting, you know, that somebody had to put out a press
- 15:11release to basically say, Hey, we're not dead, You know,
- 15:14that's, that's interesting, but. Well, yeah, yeah, it's people
- 15:20will go. Sure.
- 15:21I think so. It's funny, I was just thinking
- 15:24about that installer skill challenge and it made me think
- 15:27of a show topic that we should write down for for another day
- 15:30or or pencil in for for another slot.
- 15:32But we should talk about like the first tool time you used the
- 15:37tool that like transformed your experience as an installer, like
- 15:40glow rod or like you know what you drilled through a top plate
- 15:44and then you got down to a fire break or something like that and
- 15:47drilled through that, like that feeling of accomplishment.
- 15:49I don't know, I first time I remember seeing trying to think
- 15:54of what the tool was, but like, oh, like like low rods where
- 15:59they were where you screw them together and they were pulled
- 16:01down with the with the drop chain and all of that stuff.
- 16:04I remember the first time I actually saw that executed
- 16:07properly and like what a like light bulb on moment that was he
- 16:12as somebody hadn't couldn't like visualize it without actually
- 16:15seeing it changed my life. So anyways.
- 16:18Not to pivot on that and let's not let's not steal this for for
- 16:22the next show since we're so tough to come up with topics.
- 16:24But I mean, I would tell you, you know, one of the ones for me
- 16:28that stands out is, you know, it's the the trim removal tool,
- 16:32right? Like when once, once you saw
- 16:34somebody who was really good at taking off trim so that you can
- 16:38retro a wire in a, in a baseboard, like that kind of
- 16:42changed my life. That really gave me a.
- 16:44Hole. Absolutely.
- 16:47I mean, hey, yeah, here's how to pop the trim off.
- 16:50Here's how to put it back on without anybody ever known you
- 16:51did it, and now your wire is from point A to point B.
- 16:54Call it a day, yeah. Any Let's go get a Taylor ham.
- 16:59Pork. Roll.
- 16:59Sorry, that's you. I was.
- 17:00South Jersey pork roll. Make no mistake, Sir.
- 17:07Yeah, I forgot. I forgot who I was talking to.
- 17:10Just. Terrible, but yeah, I mean it
- 17:14speaks to you know, it speaks to C DS relevancy, right?
- 17:18Like who who is CD irrelevant to right?
- 17:20Like where is the value coming from?
- 17:22Is it coming from the principals?
- 17:23Is it coming from the manufacturers?
- 17:24Like who finds CD valuable? And what ways can CDA become
- 17:29more valuable? And you know, the easy answer is
- 17:32more training, you know, more more of a focus, right?
- 17:35Flesh out your curriculum, come up with a series of web, you
- 17:39know, webinar trainings and that kind of thing that you can, you
- 17:42know, get certified and hire. You know, I think that that's
- 17:46just the low hanging fruit, right?
- 17:49Maybe, you know, it doesn't really matter what city it's in.
- 17:52It's what is this organization giving me other than a once in a
- 17:55year, you know, opportunity to see the other integrators who I
- 17:59dislike, right? Like where?
- 18:01Where is this coming from? Yeah, you have to make it
- 18:03attractive, you know, outside of just what you're going to
- 18:06experience with the vendors, I mean, or, or, you know, or shows
- 18:10or, you know, physical interactions.
- 18:12I mean, certainly the city doesn't really matter, but I
- 18:15think it does matter. You know, I think Denver has
- 18:18proven out that as great of a location as as it is and
- 18:21convenient as it is for everybody to get to.
- 18:24Yeah, just there's a, you know, the, the, you know, the baby is
- 18:27cooked or. People are.
- 18:29Tired. Yeah.
- 18:30We're just. Yeah, everybody.
- 18:33You know, that first year I remember there, everybody was
- 18:35smoking weed and it was like woo.
- 18:37I'm at the gummy place, yeah. Yeah, Oh my God, I'm so high I
- 18:41can't even go to the show. Like, OK, well that's.
- 18:43Great, that was a good filter that filters out the weak parts
- 18:46of your organization. Yeah, like, OK, you haven't
- 18:49smoked weed since 1985 when you were in college.
- 18:52And like, chill out, relax. Don't, don't, don't hurt
- 18:55yourself. We are before all else.
- 18:59We are extreme nerds. That's really, you know. 100%
- 19:04yeah. I mean, again, the stuff you
- 19:06thought you were going to you were Billy badass in 1989.
- 19:09It's a different world. You're you know, you're paranoid
- 19:11and scared of clouds in 2020 is. Fully knocked on your ass in.
- 19:16Front of the show exactly you don't you don't want to be
- 19:19walking around like that. So let's let's tighten up again.
- 19:22I I think Vegas offers some sure unique opportunities for good
- 19:32and for bad. Yeah, sure.
- 19:34Orlando, I, I don't know, I think maybe my own prejudices
- 19:40aside, I think is a is not a bad choice.
- 19:43I just don't think it's a very fun choice for extracurricular
- 19:47after hours. So if it's yeah, but there's
- 19:49nothing to do on that end of international drive.
- 19:51Trust me, I know. You know that, that show,
- 19:53though, you'll see, you know, they'll, they'll do manufacture
- 19:56events at, you know, at, at theme parks, at special spots.
- 20:00It'll be, you know, it'll be a dinner here, dinner there or
- 20:02whatever and you'll see all that stuff come out and whatever.
- 20:04But like it, you know, like I was saying in our last episode,
- 20:08I don't know, you know, I, I think that ship maybe has
- 20:11sailed, right. Like you're going to get
- 20:13manufacturers that are, you know, they're seeing the Infocom
- 20:18and light a Palooza news and they're thinking like, you know
- 20:21what, we could just kind of maybe we just attract more Rezis
- 20:25to Infocom and. Save on our budget and now it's
- 20:28only in one city. Like I don't know, but that's
- 20:32you know, that that's my fear is that nobody wants to see CD and
- 20:36die. You know that Really.
- 20:37Is like our. That's our organization, right?
- 20:40Like we came up through this thing.
- 20:42But man, got to do, got to do something here.
- 20:45Got to do better, you know? And yeah, cities, Cities is a
- 20:49good start, right? Different, different place,
- 20:53although, man. Dallas, come on.
- 20:55Jeez. Yeah, come on, man.
- 20:59You know, obviously you can't go to Nashville because you know,
- 21:02it's not a Bachelorette party, but, you know, maybe.
- 21:05There's and it's a possible place, it's an impossible place
- 21:08to fly to extra. All of the great things that
- 21:10Nashville is. There's no direct flights there
- 21:13from a lot of places in the country, which is shocking to
- 21:16me. But it's not that big of a city.
- 21:18I mean there's less than 600,000 people that live there.
- 21:20Right, that's correct. And.
- 21:23Half of them are Californians. Right.
- 21:28I get. I just, I mean, I don't know, I
- 21:31just think about how great Denver is from the standpoint of
- 21:34you can fart and walk around and go see your buddies walking down
- 21:39the street, you know, because it's generally pretty nice
- 21:42there. You know, in September, sure,
- 21:43it's reasonable. Orlando's going to be oppressive
- 21:48at the end of at the end of September.
- 21:51Oppressive. Can I get a lot of people
- 21:53experiencing humidity for the first time?
- 21:55I feel. Yes, and you know, I mean, I, I
- 21:59for sure if, if that's what that trip's going to look like, I'm
- 22:02going to be stretching that out for some, for some beach time at
- 22:06the end of it. Maybe maybe we do like a, you
- 22:09know, inside integration beach getaway.
- 22:11Like come and hang out. Here's a negotiated rate and
- 22:15we'll we'll do hot dogs and we'll look for sand dollars on
- 22:19the beach. Just like a like a tailgate.
- 22:21Is it? Is it gonna be like when?
- 22:23When the washed up bands start doing cruises and that's their.
- 22:27That sounds like a great idea we'll get.
- 22:28Matthews Cruise, right? Yeah, we'll.
- 22:30Get Thanks for action. We'll get Scott, Ian to come
- 22:33and. What's this for again?
- 22:36Yeah. Yeah, that's exactly right.
- 22:39Yeah, We'll get a bunch of, you know, we'll get our three
- 22:42friends. We'll get, actually, we'll just
- 22:43get Johnny and Witt to come and hang out with.
- 22:45Us and we'll. Yeah, we'll have a good time.
- 22:47The the best, just literally the best two people just really, you
- 22:51know, I, I've, I've, I'm converted for sure yeah.
- 22:56But yeah, you know it, it'll no matter what, it'll be
- 22:59interesting and no matter what it'll, we'll, we'll talk about
- 23:02it for sure because. Well, we've got time to plan our
- 23:05outing, so we've got two years plus to to figure this out.
- 23:08You know, we don't do that. It's going to be like the week
- 23:10before we're going to be trying to pull something.
- 23:11Together the. Last moment like, just like our
- 23:14show, it's gonna. Be don't confront me with facts.
- 23:19Don't give me an honest assessment of of our time
- 23:22together. Until we don't do that, my ego
- 23:26can't take it. I mean, that would be great.
- 23:28And you know, maybe a Vixio, maybe a Vixio will buy us.
- 23:32You know, you need you need a mouthpiece.
- 23:33Let's let's go right. Like you need a couple of idiots
- 23:36to yell into the Internet for your for your Trade
- 23:39Organization. State media is all the rage
- 23:41right now. You can totally.
- 23:43Totally. Get us in here.
- 23:44But any who I think that's I think that's a good one.
- 23:48But yeah, that's, I thought it was real interesting that that
- 23:50news broke like right after and you know.
- 23:54Like, wow, let's let's let's look at this.
- 23:56And like literally as we're hanging up from the previous
- 23:59episode, I'm like, oh shit. Well, I guess that answers that
- 24:01we should we should talk about this.
- 24:03Absolutely. It's good to have a topic going
- 24:05into it instead of just flailing.
- 24:08But yeah, I mean, that's what we do here.
- 24:09So if if you want to reach out, if you're a representative of
