And then we've got your other co-host, Barry. Barry, how's it going, man? Nice. Pretty good. So how's the weekend? What did y'all do? What was fun? What happened? Barry: Going good. How y'all doing? Yeah, and I know you went to Dallas. How was that? Jen: I did go to Dallas. It was a lot of driving and I thirty five traffic is makes you wanna just bang your head against a wall or in this case the dashboard because we're stuck in a car for five ever. Barry: Well yeah, y'all went to Ft. Worth. Jen: Yeah, it's like in between Fort Worth and Dallas, tiny little area called Aubrey for a baby shower, but ⁓ yeah. Yeah, that's where we were. Yeah, it was good. Shaun: I know about Aubrey. That's cool. Barry: Fun ⁓ good Shaun: Yeah. People up there can't drive. People always talk about Austin drivers, but honestly I would say that Dallas is probably worse. Barry: Dallas drivers is crazy. Dallas drivers are crazy. Yeah. They're a little low they're they're on another level. For sure. Jen: Dallas, yes, it truly, truly. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: I don't know. Dallas and Houston though, because we also recently went to Houston and that was drivers there were pretty insane too. I don't know. Yes. They be cutting everywhere. Like they do not care. Yeah. Absolutely not. Yeah. Really, it's just a scratch. We're moving on. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Barry: Yeah. Very. Yeah. Shaun: That's true. Houston drivers are aggressive. They're they're overly aggressive. Dallas drivers are just fast. Yeah. They don't care if they cut you off, if they hit you. If they hit you, they're just gonna keep going anyway, so it doesn't even matter. And then Dallas, everybody's just going 90. Yeah. Gosh. And everybody always talks about Austin traffic. Traffic is okay. Barry: Good old hit and run, huh? Jen: Yes. Barry: I mean also traffic is horrible, but at least the drivers are nice for some for the most part. Jen: Yeah. It's just awful because it's congested and it's grown so much, but the driving isn't yeah, the drivers aren't necessarily bad. It's just packed. Can of sardines. Shaun: That's true. Barry: Yes. And they don't have the infrastructure for it. Shaun: Right. Barry: No. Just a lot of ⁓ yes. All them New Yorkers and Californians coming down. Shaun: Yes. Right. Everybody always just migrates right there to Austin. So that's where it all comes from. Jen: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Well, aren't they trying to make it the new Hollywood? Isn't that like a thing? Yeah. Like yes. Yeah. Like I swear it's a thing. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Like a lot of actors and stuff are relocating to Austin. A lot of production companies are starting up in Austin. It's a thing. Barry: Yes. Yeah, they have a lot more freedom when it comes to filming in Austin. My father in law did acting for a little bit and he said it's really picking up steam. Yeah. It's true. There's not as many restrictions. Mm-hmm. Yeah. They were trying to build like some big old like studio in like south side of Austin. Like a big like land kind of like full on like recording studio area. I don't know what happened with it, but Shaun: Is that a thing? Whoa. Man. ⁓ that's cool. Jen: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I haven't heard anything recently, but I do know it was like a a thing happening. Yeah. Barry: Me neither. It's been a couple of years since I heard it. Mm-hmm. Yeah, for real. Shaun: I know that they've shot movies throughout the area. I know that there was a movie that was shot like out in I think like the Bastrop area. And then there was one I think in Hutto. Like maybe The Walking Dead or something like that part of was shot in Hutto. Yeah. I was in the two. Barry: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Walking Dead shot here in New Braunfels too. no, Fear the Walking Dead, I'm s sorry. The spin off did. They filmed a couple episodes down here in New Broncos too. Speaking of filming, this was gonna be one of my Two Truths and a Lies that me, my wife and my daughter, we got paid to act in Austin. Zero experience prior to and I've never done it again either, so it was a one kind deal. It was like a internal Jen: Mm, that would make sense. Did they? ⁓ yeah. Shaun: Right. You can get those tips, but Jen: That's super cool. Hey what was it for? Barry: Like a video training video for some company. I don't even remember it. I just remember the part the our our oldest at the time, she was like two and she had to open a box and act like she loved this little teddy bear and sh yo, she did it. We told her she did it like twenty times in a row and and then they gave her one to take home. So she sh I don't even know if she remembers it though. Yeah, it was the best money we've ever made, like six hundred dollars for like three hours. It was insane. Yeah. So we're paid actors. Jen: That's some funny. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: there we go. Jen: Aw, she got paid by a toy. That's cute. Shaun: Dang Jen: What? Maybe I just need to do a side hustle of just in the back. Yeah. Yeah. Right, just make it a segment this week in the extras. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: Need to get my I M B D updated on that one so I can start out in the real world, you know. Shaun: Got some connections. I mean, that can be something that we do as a as a group together. We can just go and be extras. Barry: I mean, bro, it's never too late to become a movie star. Never too late. Never. What about you, Shaun? How was your weekend? Shaun: Exactly. Yeah. Man. I love that. Jen: So funny. Shaun: Man, my weekend was pretty good. it it got a little bit of a late start. I was out of town at the end of the week last week, so I didn't get home until I think like eight or eight thirty or something like that. So a little bit of a late start going into the weekend, but other than that it was good. Got to get quite a bit of stuff done around the house, which was nice. Working on the yard now that it's starting to heat up a little bit and Jen: Yes. Shaun: Aces shedding like crazy. Yeah. So just trying to make sure that the yard stays in good shape. I know that sounds like such an old man thing to say, but Yeah. Yeah. My goal is to have the nicest, greenest yard on the block. If I can do that, then I feel like I'm doing my job, so See, like Barry: All that rain too. Jen: ⁓ yeah. Barry: Yo, ⁓ y'all catching up. That's adult life for real. Jen: Hashtag adulting. It's hard. Yeah. Adulting is hard. Barry: No, thank you. I could care less, bro. Give me the worst yard of the month or the worst yard of the year. I have no qualms about it. shits given, bro. Jen: Yes. I really want to, but Yeah. Shaun: I just wanna be able to shove it in their faces. Like this is my yard. Barry: No, bro. Jen: He wants people stopping at his house, ringing his doorbell saying, What did you do for your yard? 'Cause it looks Shaun: Now don't do that. Because yeah, I'm I'm gonna open the door with a lot of hostility, so please don't come to my house unannounced. Yeah. You might have something in your face if you open my door unannounced. Don't show up. Yeah. Exactly. And my dog will let me know. Barry: No. Jen: But this is Texas. Barry: Don't do that. Don't do it. Jen: Yeah. Barry: Don't do Don't do it. Jen: tell the ring doorbell while you're here, all right. ⁓ But I did stumble across something over the weekend that I want to show you guys. And I n I know that we've ⁓ picked ⁓ theme but I stumbled across this one and thought, you gotta see it. Barry: Yeah, Shaun: Okay, that was Barry: Yeah. Shaun: Okay. Jen: Shout out James makes music. Barry: I mean, shout out, bro. Do your thing. Do your thing, but I don't know if that's the next theme song for the show. Shaun: Right. What? I don't know. Dog, it's it's it's gonna be a bald man summer, dog, I'm telling you right now. For sure. Jen: Darn, so good. Mm-hmm. ⁓ Barry: I mean we are up and coming, I guess. Up and coming. Jen: I gave it a shot, but I saw and I was like, Hey, perfect timing. This is great. Barry: mean I get the theme. The theme definitely goes. I just I don't know. Jen: But best believe I'm gonna change both of y'all's names into Barry, badass likable dude. Shaun: ⁓ my god. Here we go with this again. Barry: I mean these are all facts, so I would not be objective. I would not object. All right, the real question though, did y'all wash between your toes this weekend? Jen: Ha ha ha. I did and it's so funny too. I mean I was grabbing like just full hand locking with my toes, like mm-mm. Not really. No. I don't feel any different. Barry: no. No. I didn't touch I just th I was just messing around. I didn't touch mine in any different way. Shaun: You feel better, don't you? See, man, got I don't know. You have to clean between your toes. And we need to nail down the time when we're gonna go and get pedicures because Barry, you will be going. You don't have a choice. Jen: Pedicures. Yes. And I actually do need one, so let's go. You are not gonna sit there and watch. We're gonna change your life. Barry: I'll s I'll sit there and watch. I'll sit there and watch. No. But speaking of toes, I think I broke mine on Friday, y'all. I swear to God. I should send y'all pictures. Actually, let me send it to y'all right now. Bro, I wish it was some cool story. I was just being a dumbass. That's all that was. Walking out of ⁓ Dick's sporting goods store, looking at a text, didn't see the parking block, bro. Big Shaun: Let's go. What kind of freaky stuff you doing to brick your toe? C'est pas con. Jen: ⁓ my god, what shoes were you wearing? Flip flops? Mm-mm. That was your that was your mistake right there. Barry: I mean, y'all know I stay in flip Shaun: ⁓ my god. Barry: But it was it was horrible. I felt and heard a crack. I mean I walked it off, but I went and played eighteen holes in golf right afterwards, so Shaun: just get some Vicks. You'll be fine. Yeah. ⁓ VIX, some seven up. Jen: He's fine. He's fine. Barry: Sid bro, I was good. All right, check it out. I sent y'all pictures. This was the morning after. It was bad. Shaun: I have nothing from you. Jen: Yeah, I have nothing. I have nothing. Nothing. Nothing. It has to be. Barry: It's common. Shaun: Must be because you have a Samsung Android. Barry: There go. No. I just got a head send. That's what helps. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: there it is. ⁓ my gosh, you definitely broke something. ⁓ Shaun: That's gross. I think we might be able to make some money off a Foot Finder for that though. I mean I'm gonna go ahead and download it. That way if we start it, just upload that right in there. There you go. Barry: Thing is nasty looking. Jen: Somebody's got a kink for it. Barry: It looks gross. But yeah. It's all purple today. It's all purple today. But yeah. Jen: Could be the new profile picture for a feet finder. Shaun: There is something that you can do. I don't know if you've ever thought about doing this before, but go to a doctor. Barry: Nah. For what? Shaun: They go to school and they study this really cool thing called medicine. Jen: You've got good insurance. I know you do. Barry: Okay, they do that, but what if there's nothing they're gonna do for my broken toe. They're gonna give me a splint that I could order on Amazon and they're gonna tell me to stay off of it. And I'm not gonna do either one of those things. So why would I waste the sixty dollars that it costs? Nah, bro. Nah. It's fine. What's a toe? Jen: They're gonna mm mm, and wrap around. Shaun: I mean, maybe it'll help it heal properly so that you actually have a working big toe later on in the future. Just a thought. I'm talking to you like I go to the doctor a lot. What am I talking about right now? Actually I went to the doctor a few months ago. Thank you very much. So I do. to come at me like that. Yeah. ⁓ Jen: He is true on that. What's a toe? Barry: I was gonna say, practice what you preach, bro. Practice what you preach. Jen: When's your last checkup, Shaun? Come on now. ⁓ good job. Hey he Barry: Yeah, that was how I started my weekend. 'Cause I took off Friday and I'm off to Wednesday, but that was like literally at nine. Shaun: Must be nice. ⁓ that's right. Jen: ⁓ yeah, for your anniversary. How was your anniversary? Barry: It was good. It was good. It was low key. We usually go on a trip, but bro, I can't afford no trips right now, so Shaun: Fair. Jen: Preachin'. Barry: We just ⁓ we did a little family thing. We went out for a brunch with as a family. ⁓ to this place called Breakfast Period. I say that 'cause it's if you only search breakfast, you'll get all the breakfast joints in New Braunfels. But if you put breakfast period, that's the name of the actual restaurant. It's really good. It's kinda like a ⁓ Willie style, like you walk up order and then go sit down, they bring you your food. But yeah, we love it. Jen: Tried it. Okay. Okay. Shaun: Okay. Jen: Now when you say breakfast period, are we spelling out the word period or are we saying breakfast with a punctuation? Okay, glada clarified. Okay. All right. Barry: Y no. With the punctuation. Yep. But it's good. It's good stuff. So Shaun: Mean. Is this breakfast or do they do like the sweet and savory brunch type of stuff? Barry: No, they literally only do breakfast. No. ⁓ they do brunch but they're they close at two. At two or three. So Shaun: ⁓ okay. Jen: Perfect. Shaun: Perfect. What do you mean perfect? Jen: Yeah. Barry: If y'all are out in New ⁓ hit it up. And then Old City Hall. I feel like I've talked to y'all about Old City Hall, but we went there for dinner. Just me and Becca. That's it's a little little bougie spot, but it's good. Shaun: No. I won't wake up on the weekend until like eleven. Jen: We out here trying. Right. You have to have a little bouginess for the anniversary. Just a smidgen. Barry: Yeah. I mean, eighteen years, man. Eighteen years. So gotta celebrate that. Shaun: Everything about you is bougie. Yeah. Jen: You're like a whole adult. Your relationship is an adult now. Barry: It's yeah, true that Shaun: 18 years, where does that fall statistically? Like how like how many people make it to 18 years nowadays? Jen: Wow. Eighteen years. Eighteen years. Yeah. Well, statistically not many. Barry: ⁓ I don't know, man. Sh fifty I know. The last I knew was fifty percent and and yeah. It's fifty fifty right now. of a coin, man. Whether you're gonna make it or not. But yeah, eighteen years. So that was good. Low key to low key day off today. We're gonna hit up top golf tomorrow. Shaun: Couldn't be me. So Man, it's doing all the golfing. Went to the course, now you're going to top golf. Next thing you're gonna go to the simulator next. Cause know there's a simulator pretty close by. Jen: I know. Barry: Yeah. It's a good time. Nah. There are I'm not a big fan of simulators. No nothing personal. They're just not not as fun. I'd rather do top golf than a simulator, to be honest. Jen: I love a good album. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: ⁓ I think they're so fun. Shaun: That's fair. I can't swing a golf club to save my life. Barry: It's a lot harder than people think. Shaun: Right. Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Filling the first few swings I always miss. And then by the fourth one I'm like, All right, I can do this. Shaun: It's just a bunch of awkwardness coming from my my legs and my arms trying to hit it. Barry: Yeah. I mean that's the problem, bro. It's it's a whole body movement. People think it's just your arms. Shaun: Yeah, you gotta put it all in there. Whoa, hold up. Hold up. All in the hips. Barry: Just like in Happy Gilmore, bro. It's all in the hips. All in the hips. Mm-hmm. Jen: Hey now and also Shaun: Man. Well let's talk about these NBA finals that we've got going on right now. Speaking of Central Texas. Spurs are huge around the area. Of course, like everyone is all hype about the Spurs. Episode one. I said the Knicks and six. Barry: Yeah. Bro, I mean props to you, props to the Knicks. Now, with that being said, my my prediction is still on the table. ⁓ the San Antonio's up by two right now, so still on the table. But no, props to the Knicks, man. They came in game one. They I mean, I feel like the second half they just kinda shut shut everything down and really took over that game. Surprisingly, I was really surprised by how well they handled sitting so long coming in. Jen: You did. Shaun: Technically. Yep. No, I'm telling they're clicking on all cylinders right now. Mm-hmm. Barry: They are still. Their offense I mean, their offense did not take a beat, bro. It's I mean, it's not as as efficient as it was in the you know, their run through the conference. 'Cause I think they've only what like one ⁓ four, one ⁓ five. Not say the only, but I mean they were scoring like one thirty coming into the final. So San Antonio's defense is definitely still there, but their offense is just theirs. It's falling off too. So it's they've it's been a super competitive series, so Shaun: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's that's exactly what I was gonna say. The Knicks haven't faced a defense like this in the East. Because there isn't a defense like this in the East. So they I think they're still finding that balance between playing fast and playing recklessly. Just trying to get through the defense and yeah. Barry: No, no. No, you ain't wrong. You ain't wrong on that. Mm. Yeah, I mean they love the fast break. I mean, that's where they really I mean, you get Wemby behind the ball, you're you that's your best chance. So, but like you said, you gotta you gotta tow that line of of of controlled aggression versus out of control, yep, for sure. But now game one, I actually went back and watched the like the highlights from game one and I mean Spurs had what? I mean, I feel like every game the Spurs have gone up double digits. Shaun: Yeah. Old chaos. Yeah. Which they're doing it. Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's been a game every single one of the games. No. Barry: I didn't hadn't gotten out of hand. I think that's the crazy thing too. Yeah, it's been like twelve, fourteen max. ⁓ game one. I feel like the Spurs got up. Brunson didn't ⁓ really come on to the fourth quarter for that one. But I mean you had OG, Hoopin, ⁓ What if what is his name? Shamet. Shamet, that dude's been coming Shamet, coming off the bench, dropping them three three pointers, bro. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Nope. Yeah. Hame it? Langewish name it? Yeah. Yeah, he went for double digits in game one, man. Barry: Yeah. I think he did in game two. I think he had thirteen. Shaun: Probably. I mean that's the thing though, like when you have your bench players that are coming in and they're going for double digits, they're committing on defense, they're making sure that the ball is moving and everything is flowing, it's it's hard to beat that. And that's what the Spurs are so good at doing is they're so good at playing team ball and that's always been their MO, but the Knicks are just doing it better right now. This it's just for now. Just for now. It's not over yet, like you said. Barry: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, right now. I mean I mean Yeah. Game one, I feel like I'd say the Knicks pulled away. It it it was somewhat close. I and I hate to say it too, man, that youth is definitely coming out in those end game situations for the Spurs. Wemby, ⁓ the first game it wasn't as egregious. He did dribble into a double team and dribbled off his foot and lost the ball and that kinda sealed it for them in game one. But game two, bro Shaun: ⁓ for sure. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Barry: The last two possessions he had were just atrocious, sadly. I don't know. I know we'll get to game two in a sec, but I'm just yeah. Shaun: Yeah, there's there's a video I'm gonna have to show to you. Yeah. There's a there's a video that I saw and it's it's an AI video, but it's of Victor and he's singing in this R and B voice talking about how he messed up the game at the end because he threw it off his back. It's hilarious. I have to find it and send it to you. That's true. He did own it. Yeah. Barry: He owned it at least, but yeah, let me s he owned it. I mean the first I think first first two games he's just he hasn't been what he needed to be offensively. Defensively he's still doing his thing. I mean, still altering shots, still playing that like free safety in the background, but man, yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Mm-hmm. And that's the crazy thing to think about. I mean, he put up 55 points in the first two games. In game one and two combined, he's put up 55 points, and it's not enough. Like, you need more from him, and you need more from his secondary staff. Like, if you think about people like Vassel and Champigny and Fox, ⁓ the Fox had seven points in game one, like that's absolutely atrocious. ⁓ Barry: Nope. Yeah. Fox Castle. Yeah man. Yep. They gotta step up for sure. Gotta step up. Shaun: for who he is as a player. Yeah. And that's coming from a Kentucky fan. Like, I was a Kentucky fan when he was there, man. And I don't know, but hey, Kat, he he's doing it. He's doing his thing. Barry: I mean that's a box, bro. Mm-hmm. Bro, Kat is playing like somebody he should have been a long time ago, man. This is I think who everybody thought Kat should be and he's out here doing it. I mean n game one, not so much. Game two, that dude took over. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Yeah. I feel like he's finally at a point to where he feels like he can be that person. Like he can actually take over the game. He can be the person that facilitates. he can play the point five, like he can bring the ball up. Yeah. And I think that's the way that it's gonna work for them because if you have Brunson constantly bringing the ball up and he's trying to run the offense, it's gonna take too much out of him. Barry: Yeah. He does it well. He he's a great passing big. Yeah. and that's what the Spurs have been doing, is picking him up full court, man. As soon as he gets that ball, they're up up on him. And so yeah, it's a lot harder for them to set up that offense. But I think even with Kat, it's a lot different than what the Spurs have seen on the West in the Western Conference. Cause Kat's that three point threat and they haven't really faced a big that can stretch the floor like that. So he's drawing Wemby out. Like you can't you have to respect his shot. So you can't just have Wemby post Shaun: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, do Barry: you know, down, kinda touching in and out of the the key, getting ready to to come across if if Brunson or what's his name, ⁓ Bridges or or McBride tries to take it to the hoop. They're doing that. And then he's getting out of position trying to, you know, trying to make up so much ground 'cause he is stretched so far across the floor. It's ⁓ I think that's been their biggest thing to have to adjust to. And I feel like game one, that's really what hurt ⁓ Game two, I think they did a better job. Shaun: Yeah. Yeah. Barry: ⁓ tonight it seems like they've been doing all right with it. I mean, but we'll see. It all comes down to those last five minutes usually. Shaun: It has been. And I mean, even when if you think about Victor playing on OG, like out there patrolling the perimeter too. Barry: Dude, he's been bodying him. He's been getting up into Wemby and just going at him now. Shaun: Yeah, backing down. And I I don't think that that's anything that Wemby's used to either. Because we had the privilege of watching maybe some of the best basketball of our lifetimes when we watched the Olympics a couple of years ago. And I think that that was probably the last time that Wemby has had people really go at him. It hasn't been that way since he's been in the league. So I think that the Knicks kind of being the bullies here. Barry: No. Dude, that was so good. Such good basketball. ⁓ yeah. ⁓ yeah. No. Not really. Shaun: It's it's playing well for them. Barry: Yeah, for sure. Hart doing the heart things. I mean, legit pun intended, right? Heart and soul of that team, bro. Straight up. he does. But he does I mean he lights a fire under him at the same time. Shaun: He agitates Brunson, but he does it in such a great way. Yeah. Like all of the history that they have together is crazy and the fact that Yeah. The Nova boys with Bridges too. They're just missing DiVincenzo. Got traded away and then got hurt. Barry: The Villanova boys Yep. Yeah. I feel bad for that dude. Yeah, man, I'm Achilles, man. Better watch out. Shaun: Dog, what's going on with the Achilles lately? It seems like there have been so many Achilles injuries in the past couple of seasons. I know one hurt you a lot. Barry: I mean, I haven't read up it, but I just to me, yeah, I imagine it's just the ⁓ pure amount of basketball these guys are playing coming up. Like they don't they start at such a young age, man, like ten, twelve years old, they start going all year long. They don't it's not like they just play for school anymore. These select teams are traveling probably nine, ten months out of the year going to tournaments and it's just a lot of a lot of miles on Shaun: Yeah, well they and everything. Barry: I mean, I know the younger you are, usually the better you can take it. But I mean all that it's gonna add up matter how much you rest and how much you put into yourself, like financially and mentally, physically to I mean, like ⁓ I mean, I know the figure's probably over exaggerated, but he is a freak of nature. But they say he puts almost like a million dollars and I d I don't think that's a confirmed number, but he puts a lot into himself to keep himself where he is. Shaun: He's a freak of nature, honestly. Yeah. Jen: No. ⁓ Shaun: Yeah. Barry: He's kinda probably the last of like a generation where know, it was really just school ball then AAU once in the early two thousands, AAU Select, all that stuff. It just became such such a money grab and but it's the way you get into college and to the NBA nowadays. That's where the scouts go. They really don't pay attention to the local schools or the private schools. It's all at these major sponsored, you know, AAU and Select tournaments that Shaun: He's the goat for a reason. Mm-hmm. That's the only way. Jen: Yeah. Barry: That's where everybody gets their notoriety and their their you know, their chance. Shaun: Yeah, we're really seeing that across all sports in general. I g I guess the major sports like basketball and football. We're seeing that recruiting in college doesn't really happen at the high school level anymore. Yeah. It's way ahead of time. Yeah. Barry: ⁓ no, it's a middle school, bro. These kids like they're getting prepped at that age, man. No, it's crazy. And it takes a lot of work. I think that's what these kids don't realize, man. They just don't get it. It's you don't really get to be a kid. Like if you want to be a professional athlete, you start young. Like it's it's not having fun with your friends on the weekend. You're out there putting in the work on the weekend when everybody else is having fun. So you know, yeah, doing that stuff, man. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Waking up at five a.m. doing sprints. Jen: What do y'all think that does to like access to the sport though? Because that makes me think like these select clubs and stuff, i it is. Barry: it's a high money all these all of Thousands of dollars a year, dude. It is. ⁓ no, you ain't wrong. You gotta have money. No. Either you're going into debt, riding on your kid and getting into it, and that's how you you gonna get out of it. Or you just I mean, you're doing it for the life experience. And I mean, if you got the means for the ends, good for you. But yeah, I I mean I tell my girls, you're all gonna play school sports. Like I'm not Shaun: Yeah. It's it's investments, you know. Jen: They are very pricey. Yeah. So that makes me think access for like k kids that can afford it. Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Mm. Yep. Jen: Yeah. Yeah. Barry: I don't have the funds and I don't think it's necessary. I don't know. If they and I told me and my daughter had this conversation, like she's like, I want you to like push me. And I'm like, girl, I've always told myself I'm not gonna be that dad, because it might push you to be somebody that you may not be able to be on your own, but I don't want you to ever resent me for it. And I think a lot of these professional athletes, not that they don't repair those relationships, but some of them get to that point where the parent Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: That's fair. Barry: does become resented because they were that coach more than they were the parent and I don't know, I just want to be a parent. And I'm not your friend yet. So, you know, we'll be cool when you twenty one and we can sit back and drink one together and have a good time. But till then I gotta raise you to be a good young a a young person. So it's ⁓ it's tough, man. It's tough to toe that line. It is. No, it is. It's it's hard to do it all. Jen: Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: That's what we want. That's fair. Yeah. Jen: It does kind of feel like a trade off though. Like you have to decide Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: And there's only a small, small percentage that are even gonna make it to the collegiate level. And then you think about going pro, it's even sm yeah. Barry: Bro. And they don't under like, yeah, the percentages. I feel like Kyrie said it. I don't even know. I don't want to misquote the number, but the amount of guys that have played in the NBA, I wanna say it's like in the three thousand to four thousand range. In the history of the NBA, there's only been that many people to make it to the NBA. And you think about the amount of people from what, the fifties to now that have lived on this planet, and only three thousand to four thousand of them played professional basketball. That's how good they are. Jen: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah, it's very few. History of the league. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Jen: Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: It's a brotherhood for a reason. That's and that's what a lot of people don't understand. The last person on the bench will dust the top college player. Like it doesn't matter. They will absolutely dust the top college player. Barry: For real. ⁓ they would eat anybody's lunch, bro. That's yeah. Nah. I th who was that? Like Scalabrini said that? Like you may think that I'm a bum in the NBA, but he was like, I will bust your ass if you're a regular dude. You think I'm a bum? Okay. Like, bro, their level of skill is so much higher than people think. Shaun: Yeah. It will. And there's absolutely nothing that you can do about it. Yeah. I think that that's something that it would never work. I'm just gonna say that right now. It would never work. But if they were to do like a pros versus Joes type of thing for the NBA, that would be so great. Yeah. They used to have it for football. I think if they did it for basketball, that would be great. Yeah. That would still be great. That's great TV. Barry: ⁓ bro, that would be embarrassing. I they used to have that show, you remember that? I think that was the name of it. But they were like semi professional athletes, bro. They weren't like regular average shows. They were like collegiate athletes and stuff. They weren't gonna put I wanna go out there and see how much I could do. I know, I get embarrassed. I would get embarrassed. Shaun: Nothing. Jen: Have you guys seen the they dis they just did like that flag football tournament that had like Barry: ⁓ the the professional yes, yes, yes. The NFL versus the flag football team. Mm hmm. No, the flag football team beat him. Jen: Tom Brady in it, but then also like in influencers and stuff. I mean, I didn't watch it, but that's what it reminds me of. Because even Tom Brady was like, This kid is an internet person. Like you might be somewhat good at sports, but you are nowhere near the level that I am or that the professionals are. Yeah. Shaun: That was a ton of money. Mm-hmm. Barry: But they're it's a different it's different. It's a different skill set. Like NFL compared to flag football, yo, those are two totally different types of games. Like the skill set, like the mental like it's it's all so different. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, bro, it's all feedback. Jen: Very different things. Yeah. Shaun: ⁓ one hundred percent. Jen: But Boy got his feelings real hurt about him saying that. But true. Shaun: Like couch coaches have always been out there. They're always gonna be out there, especially when we think about football or anything like that. Especially here in Texas, football is religion, basically. Saturdays and Sundays during football season, that's where everybody is. So you think about like all of the players, it's such a skill to even be able to take a hit. Barry: yeah. Shaun: And to fall the way that you need to fall to keep from getting injured every single Sunday or every single Saturday if it's college. The average person can't do that. ⁓ Jen: ⁓ ⁓ huh. Barry: Yeah. For sure. ⁓ it's all luck. I mean it's a lot of luck, like you're saying too. Getting hit, man. wrong hit, wrong one wrong step, it's all over. Basketball, football, baseball, s it don't know, it don't matter, man. It's all luck. I mean, there's a lot of work, but yeah. Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. It doesn't matter what it is. Don't even get me started on baseball. Baseball is so boring to watch, but if you were to step out there and think that you can hit a hundred mile per hour fastball, I can't even see that. Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Barry: ⁓ dude, I would no. That's no bro, no. That's that scares me. Hell no. Somebody throwing a ball at me and I'm just trying to hit it? Nah. Nah, that was never my sport, sorry. But the sheer amount of people that play baseball, like that's your odds are stacked against you there too. Even if you feel like you got some talent. There's just so many people that go play and that one's on like a world level too. I feel like NBA, yeah, we're you know, NBA's starting to expand. Like Jen: Yeah. I know. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Mm. Shaun: You blink and it's already in the catcher's gloves. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Barry: you're starting to see a lot more overseas talent, but man, when it comes to baseball, bro, everybody plays baseball everywhere. So it's a whole different amount. Yeah. All of it. But yeah. But no, it's different. I mean, NBA, man, it's it's a lot different. So it's a whole I d that's the thing I don't think people like like people here in America like ⁓ is ⁓ very important. Shaun: ⁓ yeah. South America, Central America, all over the world, Japan. A little bit closer. Barry: sport. Like we get a lot of our talent driven there versus like you think about Europe and stuff. Like a lot of their young talent, they don't play basketball. They play soccer or futbol. Like, you know, international futbol whatever you want to call it. But that's w they do they're the same kind of thing. Like they're going in at ten. They're getting recruited by these clubs at nine, ten years old and they're literally brought up through that club system playing against all the other club kids and gro and then, you know, at sixteen they're starting to look they're already getting released to the professional level. Jen: Stop on the Shaun: Yeah. I mean, even with basketball, that's where Luca came from. He was a pro at sixteen and transitioned straight over to the NBA without a problem. Barry: that's mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Same thing, man. So but I mean it's just a different, you know, it's just a different system. Here it's basketball. There it's soccer, futbol you know? That's how that's that's why we're I think that's why we don't see so many international players coming into basketball at the level that we, you know, especially like SGA or Jokic. Like, yeah, you got like five great European players, but I feel like we could have so many more if Shaun: Yeah. Soccer. Football. V football, I guess. Barry: Those talented, you know, athletes weren't doing futbol or other sports over there too. So Shaun: Yeah. I mean that's been kind of the conversation lately is is the rest of the world catching up with the NBA or catching up with basketball? Jen: Mm-hmm. For sure. Barry: I mean I think talent is talent. It's just what you develop it in. Like if you're an athlete, you can go more than likely go play anything you want to play. It's what do you have a passion for and in those countries, soccer's it. Like that's what ⁓ and they get paid just like people do here in the NBA. They get paid in those like what is named, Ronaldo and Messi. You know, they're they're making more than the dudes in the NBA are here 'cause that's how good they are. But that's what I'm saying. That's where the money is over there. It's not in the MV it's not in basketball like it is here. Shaun: That's true. Jen: For sure. Mm hmm. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Or even in driving, like if you think of what, I guess, the motor world, like that's so much money that gets just pumped into that constantly. And they they start at a very young age. Barry: Yeah, yeah. Formula one. Formula U. ⁓ dude. Mm mm. Same thing. But yeah, that's where the talent goes. You yeah, why I mean that's your ticket out of wherever you're at or where you're trying to get to. So if you're good at it, why not get developed? But I mean speaking of developing, SAs up by three. Eleven minutes. Game three. But bro, let's go back to game two, man. Did you watch game two? Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: That's true. And That's it's the fourth quarter, dude. We're not still got plenty of time left in the game. So I did. What about it? We don't start with. Barry: I thought the game was over with six minutes to go. I was like, ⁓ it's done. And then fourteen ⁓ run. But then he made Jen: Yeah. Shaun: No, not even, not at all. Yeah. Dude, I'm telling you, the Knicks are playing team ball. Barry: ⁓ they are. They are. Shaun: Which is not it's it's not what we're accustomed to seeing nowadays. Just because there's so much ISO ball that gets played. Yeah. Barry: No. No yeah, now it is a lot of ISO. No, they have their offense is definitely picked up, man. And like you say, it's coming from everywhere. It's not just it's not just Brunson and Cad. It's it's a collective and that's hard to 'cause I mean if you got four or five dudes going fifteen, twenty points, it's how do you how do you combat that if you d if you if you don't got the same thing? Shaun: Yeah. Barry: And Wemby ain't I mean, like you said, Wemby's had fifty five points, which is great. That's about what he averaged throughout the season and in the playoffs, but that's not gonna be enough. you getting four or five dudes going for almost as many. But now game two was crazy. Like it was pretty fun to watch then was really fun. Sad for Spurs fans, but it was fun watch. Bro, when he threw it to Castle's back, I was like, What , A, why are you getting rid of the ball? Nobody pressured you. Shaun: Yeah. No. I think the Yeah. Jen: So sad. Shaun: Spurse fans, man. That's what he was doing the whole first half. Like he was playing very timid. Yeah. Barry: You don't need you didn't need to drop it off. He was. But he that was and he I know he owned up, but that was one. And then I don't know if this was a coaching call, but the last play, why is he not getting the ball on the block and trying to at least get a whistle or just going in at some like you Mitchell Robertson on you? Go go at him, bro. Like make the refs swallow the whistle or get the call. I don't like a fadeaway elbow jumper. Shaun: Yeah. That's who he is though. That's that was the allure of him coming into the NBA. He's a seven footer that can take a step back. He can shoot a three. He can play inside out. Barry: I mean I get that's who you are, but I mean play the statistics, the analytics, bro. Get down on the block. You seven four. You ain't gotta jump to dunk it. You can reach over his head and put it on the ho on the rim at least. Shaun: Seven four. Yeah. I mean he's even put on some size this season compared to what he was last year. Yeah. But he's still getting he's still getting bumped around. Barry: He has. I feel like he cr probably got at least twenty pounds over last year. He's still bean pole, but yeah. I mean that's that's leverage. I mean, you get under somebody, you strong enough, you can move ⁓ Shaun: I'm gonna say something that might be a bit controversial for people. Wemby's kind of dirty. I'm gonna say something that might be a bit controversial for people. Wemby's kind of dirty. He he makes some dirty plays, man. I I saw what he did tonight. Yeah, but he he a sneaky, he's a sneaky, dirty player. Yeah. And then he started laughing about it. Yeah, I don't. He is Barry: ⁓ here we go. ⁓ here we go. Jen: Mm. Bald opinion. Mm. Bald opinion. Barry: Bald opinions. Bald opinions. Jen: ⁓ Barry: Bro, did you see you talking about tonight or what else did he do? Did you see what he did tonight to Brunson early in the game? That should have been a flagrant one. He straight up he straight up mud faced him on the back of the head, bro. Pushed his face in the mud. And he did laugh in his face too. Shaun: He's a great talent. He's a good kid. He plays for one of the best organizations in the history of the league. But he is a kid. Yeah. He's young. He does some dumb stuff sometimes, which is to be expected. Yeah. Barry: I mean, that's the crazy thing. He's twenty two, bro. He's twenty two and a great organization. He's young and mature still. He shows he's shown it a couple times. But that's the thing. That's why you go through these, bro. It's why you go through these games and these these final series. You gotta learn. Either learn on the fly or you learn from experience. So, but now game two, man, bro, it was so fun to watch. Again, I love it because I don't have a team in the race, so Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Mm. Shaun: That's true. There's only one way to learn. That's to get in there and do it. That's true. Yeah. Barry: It's amazing. There's no pressure. It's just fun. I hate watching Boston. I hate watching Boston, especially in the playoffs, bro. It's so stressful. Cause they just I don't know what happens to them. They just wanna make it stressful. I don't know why. Shaun: Boston sucks. So they're not in it. Yeah. Jen: Ha ha. Shaun: Yeah. Or there was something that happened to Boston in the playoffs a couple of years ago. They were they were playing a team. I can't remember which team it was. I can't remember which team it was. Jen: He said, Don't make him live relive it. Barry: Only reason we're talking about this is because we were saying if the Spurs go down to three, oh, could they be the one team to come back out of the hundred and sixty teams that potentially would and I said the last team to do it was my Celtics in twenty three. And they were one ankle sprain away from doing it. But they lost. They lost to your heat. They did. Jen: To come back. Shaun: And they cannot. Mm. ⁓ Jen: And they lost. Shaun: And who did they lose to? Thank you. I I just need to hear it, honestly. I just needed to hear those words come out of your mouth. I feel like my my my day is complete now. That's all I needed. Jen: й Barry: Hm. I mean, okay. Well, I would make you say something, but I'm I'll leave it alone. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: What do you want me to say? Barry: I mean, out of the Heat and the Boston, who's won the most recent finals? Shaun: well Boston is one of most recent. Yeah. I don't have a problem saying that. Boston also still sucks. That doesn't change either. ⁓ are about to lose Jaylen Brown. Because he wants to be Batman. He can't be Robin. Jen: ⁓ what? ⁓ Barry: They don't suck. They don't suck. They don't suck. Nah, bro. His they're not gonna do anything. The only thing they need to do is pick up a big man this this offseason. They'll be alright. They're not gonna trade Jaylen Brown. And unless he says he wants to trade, they're not trading him. No, I don't think so. Shaun: It's not gonna work. He's gonna force his way out. If if not this year, next year, he's gonna force his way out. Barry: If he doesn't get an extension this year, then I would start to think maybe he's gonna get traded. But Shaun: Yeah. He doesn't want to be he is he is Kyrie in what seventeen, twenty eighteen. That is who Jaylen Brown is right now. He doesn't want to he doesn't want to play Robin. Barry: Bro, he's all Boston. What do you mean? No. No. No, you crazy. No, you crazy for that. No. I mean, you might be right. And he didn't have to this year. I don't know. I think they're fine. ⁓ I'm glad he did. He deserved it. And he showed up. He showed up. He showed that he could do it. So if there anybody if there is anybody that wanted to trade for him, he proved that they should, but Shaun: He got a taste of it. Yeah. Barry: I don't think he wants to leave. I really don't. Shaun: I don't think so. And I mean if Barry: I the only thing that like I was like hesitant was when ⁓ T Mac came out and said what he said, but I don't if Jaylen had the opportunity, he said, I wanna be here for the next ten years. Like those are his words. So I'm gonna take that for what it is. Shaun: At least they Yeah. What kind of forum was that in though? Was that a public forum? ⁓ of course he's gonna say that. Barry: Yeah. w it was on Twitch or something. It was I don't remember what he said it. Like 'cause it was after Brad Stevens said, I haven't heard anything from him. If he has if he wants to talk, my door's always open. And that was that was JB's response to Brad's comments. So I don't think, ⁓ what I've read, I mean I honestly haven't really looked into it much, but I don't he's not though, 'cause if he was, he probably would be way more relevant. Shaun: I mean He's PR trained. Barry: But he wants to do his own thing, bro. He's got his own shoe deal because he doesn't want to do what Nike wants and all the g all those things. I mean, he's he can be a little reckless sometimes with his words, but I mean, bro, be an original. Be an original. He is. Smart ass dude, man. Love that man. Love that dude. Nah, I don't want him to. I hope he doesn't. I really don't. I really hope he doesn't. I I I Shaun: His sunglasses crack me up too. That's true. That's who he is. Jen: He said, Please don't go anywhere. Shaun: You have a you have a man cross. Barry: I didn't know who he was coming from Cal. Like I didn't know him when he came to the league, I won't lie, but I'm very glad that they drafted him. Like ten years later. Eleven I think now. Shaun: Yeah. A buddy of mine, like he was a big time Boston fan too. And I always used to tell him, I was like, Man, Jaylen Brown is better than Jayson Tatum. Like he just doesn't get the opportunity that Tatum gets. Like Tatum as as soon as he was on the team, yeah. He got the keys. Yeah. Barry: I mean he's a Dukey Tatum's a Dukey. Like, yo, he got Jordan, so he's got the mhm. I I just ⁓ to me it's always I I they're they are just different. I mean they're similar players on the court, but I think as people they're just very different. I don't think one's better than the other, honestly. You know, I know like people say that, but I think they contribute in a different way to the team. I think they're both super ultra talented. I think They've both continued to get better every year in the league. Neither one has taken a step backwards in at any point, I don't feel. Every time like JB got criticized for his left, what he he w I mean, this year, bro, he he made so many plays with his left, like he went out and made an intentional choice to go get better. So I just I see that in both of ⁓ and I mean, they've proven they can get there. You just gotta have the right talent around ⁓ I mean, twenty when they won it, they had amazing talent. They they fleeced. Shaun: Yeah. They had a yeah, they had a whole juggernaut of a team. Right. Yeah. Not the best, yeah. Barry: the rest of the league, bro. Yo th that was probably one of the better teams ever assembled. I'm gonna say the best, but one of the better teams ever assembled. Like offensively, statistically, they were a juggernaut bro. They just ran through people that year. And it was a down year for the rest of the NBA. I mean you can say that sure, but you play who's in front of you and they did and they beat him, you know? Shaun: That was Katie Warriors basically is who they were. Yeah. Yeah. guess Barry: ⁓ okay. Shaun: of playing who is in front of you, some big news in the NFL. Myles Garrett to the Rams. Barry: Bro, I did not see that coming at all. I didn't even know if was real. I think I might have seen it on Facebook and had to Google like, is this the real thing? Like when I saw the Luca Doncic trade, I was like, Is this a real thing? I think I texted you like at two in the morning, like, this can't be real. So, but same feeling here, bro. Myles Garrett. Shaun: I'm sorry. Jen: Ha ha. Shaun: It's crazy. It can't be. Because, first of all, that's a great comparison. Yeah. Fantastic comparison. How do you let go Luca if you're Dallas? Same thing over here with Cleveland. Your best player that you've had in God knows how long, you let him go to a Super Bowl contender, an already Super Bowl contender. Barry: Hands down. Who all already great defense. And you didn't give they didn't have to really do anything for it. I know they gave up their probably one of their better defensive linemen, but yeah. Bro, they want to win now. Myles Garrett's gonna help you win now. Especially I I gotta give my boy Shaun credit. He c he literally when we were talking about the trade, he was like, A D's about to come out of retirement to join this man. Shaun: No. Yeah, they give up a future. But that's not what they're looking for. They've got a thirty, what, thirty seven, thirty eight year old quarterback? Yeah. Yes. Barry: And not even a couple hours later there were already rumors and A D talking about it. I think he was on ⁓ was it Pat McAfee's show? Shaun: I think he is. It sounds like his wife is on board too. His wife wants him to come back. Barry: Bro, if he comes out of retirement for the Rams, that's silly. It's silly. I don't know. You still got the Hawks coming back with a lot. Shaun: Is is the NFC basically done at that point? I don't know. I I don't know don't know how you beat that defense. If if you were to have Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald both on the defense, and then you flip the ball, and got Puka on the other side, like what do you what do you do with that? And you've got a great coach who's a fantastic play caller. I don't I don't really know what you do there. Barry: It's gonna be hard to score or move the ball on him. Yeah. Yeah. Mm. Not much. Yeah. ⁓ they're gonna be they're gonna be tough out. But I don't know, man. That was that one was I did not see that one coming. I was de definitely shocked by that one. Shaun: You know. I see a Rams Chiefs Super Bowl or something. Maybe Barry: Were you already going back to the Chiefs? No. Jen: Go cheese. Go Chiefs. It's my two cents Shaun: Who I mean because only because of Taylor. the only reason you care about the Chiefs Barry: No. You got You got Patty Mahomes coming off as what did he he tore his ACL. I he ain't gonna be the same. He's I mean, I say he's getting too old. He's younger than me, but he's getting too old for that shit. Jen: ⁓ Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Yes. ⁓ Shaun: ⁓ yeah, he's gone. I don't know. I mean he may not be able to do like all of the wild twisting and backwards passes and crazy stuff like that, but the arm talent is still there. Barry: But I don't Well and they went and got Sneed. They wouldn't re signed Sneed, I saw that today. So they trying to I mean they're trying to get better. But who didn't somebody get arrested? Shaun: Yeah. I know. What was that? Someone can arrest a who? Barry: Didn't one of their players get arrested? Or was it somebody else? Shaun: Maybe. I don't know. I know a Broncos player got arrested. I'll I'll say that was crazy. Him and his girl got into a fight and he like bit her phone or something. Yeah, I don't know. I don't I don't know. I don't know who it was. Barry: Shit, who was it? Maybe that's who I'm thinking of. ⁓ that might be who I'm thinking of. Who was it? You don't know the player or you don't know what the situation? Shaun: Neither one of ⁓ honestly. I don't I just know that like I saw something like he like bit her phone or something like that, which is absolutely wild, but she accused him of cheating. He like grabbed her phone and tried to eat it or something, yeah. So I don't know. Barry: ⁓ okay. Us I don't know. Hmm. ⁓ biters. Don't be biting, bro. Bitterful. Craziness. ⁓ any other NFL moves that stood out to you? Shaun: Russell, Russ. Let him cook. He is no longer gonna be cooking. Right. Barry: Mm. Good for him, bro. I mean, I'm a Steelers fan. I didn't mind Russ being a Steeler. I thought he was a good good fit for the franchise and good for him, man. Shaun: Are you happy with A-Aron. Rod? Barry: Do my Steelers, I don't know what we're gonna do, bro. I hate talking about it. 'Cause they're I don't know. Maybe him and ⁓ McCarthy were you know, the reunion might produce ⁓ I just don't know if they're gonna it's gonna be a Super Bowl level worthy. Like, I don't know. They signed like ⁓ my god, the r the Fitz is it Fitzberg? They signed their edge rusher to a long term deal. I think he got a hundred mil. Jen: Ha ha ha. Shaun: Yeah. Hm. Yeah, I was what to say. Barry: ⁓ you got TJ Watt. So and then you I mean that their defense is really what even gave them a year last year. So I don't know, man. I am a Penn State fan. They drafted Penn State's quarterback, Drew Allar. I don't know. I feel like he has a pretty strong arm, but from what I read in his mechanics, I guess they're trying to improve him. But they say McCarthy can do that kind of stuff. Like he helped A Rod early in his Shaun: See anger can stay healthy. Is he mobile? Barry: He's a pretty mobile quarterback, but he broke his ankle or something with his ankle or knee. That's what ended his season. And that's what I'm like. I don't I just don't know. I don't and again, I'm not the biggest football guy, so I don't keep up with all that. I've just tried to kind of 'cause he's the Penn State guy, I'm my biased again. I'm gonna root for him. But they gotta figure out the future of that position. Like A Rod ain't it, man. I I I mean, respect to him, he's a Hall of Famer, but Shaun: These lower leg injuries, man, are crazy. Yeah. I mean Barry: He's literally this is he's already said this is gonna be it. So forty two, I believe. Yeah. Yeah, he's no. He's a straight up pocket passer. I mean he's still got a little bit of zip on it. Yeah, he's still got a zip on it, but they just gotta figure out what the future looks like, man. and maybe hopefully it's Allar for least a year or two. Maybe you can learn some things for from A Rod. Shaun: How old is he? Forty what? Forty two? I know he's somewhere up there. I mean he can't he can't move anymore. Especially. Yeah, straight up pocket. He's still got a slinger. Yeah. He's I mean he's not Looks grim. Barry: This year, I don't know. But the and I don't know much about the dude, ⁓ Will Howard out of Ohio State. I know he was a he he was really good there, but last year he didn't do much and I don't really know what the ⁓ depth chart looks like right now. Shaun: ⁓ yeah. The NFL has to be scary though. Like, even if you a marquee player at an Ohio State or a Texas or Georgia or something like that, going into the NFL with these grown men who've been playing for years, ⁓ if they're veterans, ⁓ it's gotta be intimidating. Like you can you can say that you have all the faith in yourself that you want, but Barry: It's a big leap, man. Yeah. Jen: No, explain further. Explain for the listeners. Barry: Yeah. For sure. It's a big difference. And I'm gonna say this and it's gonna sound borderline offensive, but there's a difference between boy meat and man meat. Let's just Y'all know what I mean by that. Shaun: Whoa, pause. Pause. Hold up. Whoa. What what do you mean by that? I don't know that I do know what you mean by that. Please please clarify for yourself right now. Barry: Come on, bro. Like think okay, think think about think about these college kids like coming they don't got grown man money to be out here eating hot, you know, protein. I know they're starting to get it with the NIL, but they don't have the development that they have on the NFL level. So you think about a big like you're saying, I'm I'm agreeing with you, like a big swole ass motherfucking man versus a boy coming out of college who thinks he's a man. Shaun: Okay, I got you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Jen: A boy. I'm a real boy. Shaun: I feel like there was a different way to say it than man meat and boy meat, but I am a boy, Damn. Stop saying it, dog. Please stop saying that. Golly. I I mean even even if you take like the P5 I guess it's not power five anymore, power four. Barry: Man meat, like man meat, man meat versus boy meat, bro. man meat versus meat, bro. Shaun: a boy, Damn. ⁓ Stop saying it, dog. Please stop saying that. Golly. I I mean even ⁓ Barry: Yeah. Yeah. Jen: Please keep saying it. It's very clippable. Please keep saying it. It's very clippable. Barry: That's what I mean. Again, I prefaced it. I prefaced it. That's what I mean. Again, I prefaced it. I prefaced it. Jen: The new clip. The new clip. Shaun: If you take like the power four schools and compare them against some of the other D one schools, like it's not even fair. That's why you see some of these teams that are these juggernauts of a squad playing against other D one schools, but they don't they don't have any shot of being able to actually win the game. Just because all of the resources, the training, the weight staff, the meals and the talents, yeah. Barry: Yeah. Especially on the football side. Yeah. I mean in the in the talent level that they're getting interest from. Yeah. Like on the on the on the basketball side in college, I feel like the disparities definitely become a lot less between your smaller programs. You're seeing a lot more Cinderella stories where you know you got two, three, four teams that are making somewhat of deep runs in the a March Madness. But yeah, in college, man, it's gonna be your power four teams. Even if you're getting these, you know, your your your FBF champion. Shaun: Yeah. Yeah. Barry: Into the playoffs. A Cinderella might happen once in a blue moon there. Shaun: Yeah. That's true. And I mean we were even talking about recruiting earlier. I mean the recruiting in college football is gone. It's it's all transfer portal. Yeah. Yeah. Like if it's not NFL or NFL, if it's not NIL or transfer portal, you're not getting any top talent. Yeah. There's zero recruiting that happens on the high school level at this point. Which is crazy because if you think about being able to build a program that is sustainable for more than a year. Barry: ⁓ yeah. No, it's it's all pay for play and transfer portal. Yeah. No, you ain't got no talent. No. It's not anymore. It's you can't. Shaun: How do you do it? Like unless you have boosters that are just throwing millions upon millions of dollars out there. Barry: Well, I mean you are in a lot of these places, like U T, Ohio State, those they got big money donors there, bro. So they throwing that money in there 'cause it's th it brings in more. Shaun: Yeah. And that's why the schools, even with the expansion of the playoffs, it doesn't matter. Because you still got the same schools that are gonna be there. You've still got UT, you still got Alabama, you still got Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida, Tennessee, like all of these teams where they are throwing money. Penn State, Penn State, USC, I mean, all of those teams. of them. There's a ton of money up there at Penn State. Barry: Trying to leave all my Penn State. That's all right. I see you, bro. It's all right. Jen: Targeted. Barry: No, there there's a lot of money. And and all of ⁓ you ain't wrong. Shaun: Yeah. That's why it even with an expanded playoff, the only way that that really matters is if a team has a down day. Since it's a one and done, if a team has a bad day, something happens, the ball doesn't go in their direction, that's the only way that it makes a difference. Other than that, it's gonna be the same teams. Yeah. Any given Sunday, or I guess in this case, any given Saturday. Barry: It's still gonna be no. Mm-hmm. Yep. I mean, but that's why you play the games. That's why you play 'cause it does happen. ⁓ sir. It's one of my favorite my football movies, bro, any given Sunday. Like straight up. Bro, one of my favorites. Steamin', bro. Steamin' Willy Beamin' Shaun: the movie in forever. It is a good movie. there. ⁓ Barry: Yeah, it was of my favorite Jamie Foxx like roles. For sure. Shaun: Yeah. He's one of the most talented actors ever. Yeah. Speaking of Phenomenal job with Ray. Barry: Bro, so versatile. So versatile. Did he did Ray good, I mean Jen: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Barry: In the Jamie Foxx show, like, bruh. Shaun: That was I mean, that was okay. Fancy was bad. ⁓ of course you bring up Django. No, I was just gonna say, speaking of like really cool actors or funny actors, Scary Movie Six just dropped. Barry: What? Come on. I mean, for sure. Anyway, sorry. I interrupted you. What were you gonna say? Jen: Django? I mean come on now. Barry: I wanna check it out. I have not seen it yet. I mean, we were talking about this the other day. The I mean without the Wayans brothers, it went downhill. First two were I mean I mean, and that was my child ⁓ like late teens, early twenties, so it was it was like good fit for that those years. Good stuff. Mm Shaun: been a while since there has been a good stream movie. Yeah. Jen: ⁓ Shaun: Mm-hmm. Yeah, those are phenomenal movies. Jen: Yeah, the second one's the best one. For sure. For sure. For sure. Yeah. Barry: Mm. How many times is is the second better than the first? Jen: Not many, which is what makes it so great. That's what makes it so great. Shaun: Not often. That's that's true. That's what makes it special. Barry: That's a big statement, Jen. That's a big statement then, Jen. Shaun: Yeah. That is it it's it's tough to be a scary movie two. I mean it was a really good movie. I am excited to see six though. Yeah. it. Watch them. Just like singing around. ⁓ man. We're gonna have to make it happen. Go and see it. Jen: I stand by my statement. Barry: I mean she stands by it. I'm not gonna I know the first one, bro, was hilarious. Jen: So quotable. See? Barry: Yo. Yeah, I wanna see the new one. I really do. I really do. I wanna check it out. Yeah, we do need to go watch it and talk about it. Jen: Yeah. Did you see that he stopped by the draft house at a showing? Yeah. Yeah. At the draft house right here in San Antonio. ⁓ by yes, by North Star. Yeah. ⁓ hold on, let me look it up. Let me look it up. I think it was Marlon Yes, I swear. Shaun: I did not do that. Draft us where? Barry: ⁓ Which one? Where? No way. Who? Which one? Which Wayans? Or was it both of Shawn or Marlon? No way. That's the one I would kinda want to meet. He seems a little bit funnier. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Not I would be objected to meet any of the Wayans at all. Super talented family. Shaun: Really? He seems a little bit more relaxed than Shawn does. Yeah. Yeah, it's an incredibly talented family. Top down. Yeah. Barry: Bro, like I grew up watching them in Living Color straight up. They gave so many people an opportunity. Lots of ⁓ yeah, for sure. Yeah. Shaun: Mm-hmm. And so many of them took it and ran with it and went on to have incredible careers and do a bunch of great movies, TV shows, all kinds of different stuff. Yeah. Barry: Yeah. I mean we talk about Jamie Foxx, bro. Right there. So good. Shaun: I mean sometimes all you just need is an opportunity. Just an opportunity to do something. Yeah. Barry: It's luck, bro. It's like we talked about in sports, not getting hurt. Sometimes you need luck, man. That's bonkers, bro. Jen: Look. I'll ignore the ad, but yeah. Shaun: That's true. Barry: Dang, I wish I'd a known that. Shaun: That's crazy. Right? When was this? Jen: Yeah. Barry: I mean he probably did it without no people knowing. That was probably the awesome part about it. Dang Yeah, ⁓ 'cause then people be there expecting that. Shaun: Yeah, for sure. Yeah, you can announce something like that, it'd be crazy. Jen: For sure. Yeah, no. Mm-hmm. Shaun: Unless it was a game day. If it was a game day, then people probably wouldn't have cared as much because they're gonna be at the eighteenth season. Barry: Facts. Well, if it was Friday it was a game day, but I would I would have been I'm not a Spurs fan, so I don't know. That might have been earlier, like an actual premiere versus the like, you know, first day. Yeah, then the release. I mean it did well. What did we say? One ⁓ f one ⁓ five, a little over one of five hundred and five million? Yeah. So I mean you said what tripled? I was gonna say doubled doubled the budget first week, I think. It might have tripled it, bro. Jen: Mm. Well, I don't know. Shaun: That's true. Versus like a release. Yeah. I don't know. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: one ⁓ five point five I think. Yeah. Out of a fifty million dollar budget. Or was it fifty or thirty? Maybe it was a thirty million dollar budget. Yeah. Jen: Yeah. I think they did well. Barry: It might have tripled it. So I mean but I mean bro they put out good stuff. White chicks, cult classic. Still love Triple O G, Terry Crews and that one, bro. Shaun: Yeah. OG Triple OG. 30 million. Yeah, so they tripled it. Well, more than tripled it, honestly. If it was 30 million and they hit 105. So that's awesome. And then there's another, yeah, another big time franchise that's gonna be coming out pretty soon. A little bit of a different side of the spectrum, but Toy Story 5. Yeah. Jen: It was thirty million. Barry: Triple O G. Triple it. Speaking of triples. Good for them. Good for them, bro. That's awesome. Love it. Yeah, definitely gotta check that out. Jen: Yeah. Barry: A lot different vibe. Still good, still positive, but a lot different vibe. A little more nostalgic. Okay, I was thinking about this. This is where our age difference kinda shows. Jen: Hard shift. Hard shift. Shaun: Toy Story Five coming out. Jen: I'm so excited for Toy Story Five. Shaun: Jen, why are you so excited about Soy Story? Jen: In these kind of moments. Barry: Yeah. Toy Story was more my little brother's like he's ten years younger than me, but that was his shit growing up. Like, yo, he is a lifelong fan. Like, I'm sure he is I am a hundred percent. And not to say that I didn't watch that shit, but I am not as nearly attached as my little brother. It's like different level. I haven't even seen the fourth one. I'm that's the one with the spork, right? Shaun: I mean Yeah, you're just old, dog. Jen: You're just old. Shaun: Hmm, I swear. Jen: Who Shaun: Yeah. Jen: What? Barry. Yes, forky. Shaun: Yeah. Sporky. Sporky's hilarious, dude. Barry: Yeah, I have not seen that one. I feel like I've seen clips. Maybe. The last one I saw was the ⁓ pimp teddy bear. Jen: Trash Shaun: ⁓ gosh. That dude was ⁓ I don't even remember. That purple purple dude though. Jen: That motherfucker, I ⁓ I know Yes. I swear when he just looked at him on the ladder and Lotto. Yep. Barry: What was his name? He was he was like purple pink like ⁓ Shaun: Lots of is it lots of love? Lots of love, lots lots of yeah. Yeah, that dude, he was devious. He was a demon. Barry: Lotza Latso Lotso That was it. Yeah, no, he was crazy, bro. Gotta put in your time. Put in your time with these little infants. Jen: Mm-mm. Mm-hmm. I was ready to throw some elbows when I saw him be like, nothing. Keep climbing this ladder. Barry: I don't know, bro. I mean, do y'all I mean, are you I'm assuming y'all are like ready, like ramped for Shaun: ⁓ no. It'll it'll be a streaming movie for me for sure. Once it hits streaming it. Jen: Yes. Barry: Okay, see that's where I'm at. But a lot of a lot of movies nowadays that are that for me. I don't really it's hard for me to justify to drop a hundred dollars to watch a movie nowadays. Like Jen: No. The whole family's packing up and we're going. Opening night. Let's go. Shaun: That makes sense though. You've got you've got kids though. Jen: Yeah. That is true. We're very big we're a very big movie family though. Like we love going to see movies as a family. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: I kind of grew up going to movies, but I don't know, man. I'm not like I'm not one of those people that has to like turn down the lights and be locked in. Yo, I can watch a movie for five minutes and come back to that bitch five days later and just pick it back up, bro. It may be. But that's how I do, bro. I mean, I'm the early riser in our house, so. Shaun: That's psychotic. Yeah. Gosh. Jen: Absolutely not. Yeah. I have so many concerns for you. Barry: I sometimes will start movies like in the morning and then you know, people get up and I'm like thirty minutes in. I'll put that bitch on pause and get back to it when I get back to it, man. I don't have to go through it. Nah. I enjoy watching movies, that's the thing, but it's I don't know, I'm not it's not a big experience thing for me. Jen: Absolutely not. Y'all better quiet down and let me finish my movie. Shaun: Yeah. I gotta watch the straight through. My thing with going to the movies is it has to be a nice theater. Like that is that is one of the things that I definitely miss about Austin being able to go to IPIC because there's not one else or there's not another one anywhere else around. So I I miss iPick. But I'm gonna have to take a trip up there and go watch Scary Movie Six. Barry: Hundred. Hundred percent. Jen: ⁓ a hundred percent. Hundred percent. Barry: Mm. Jen: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Barry: Yeah. Yeah, I don't know man. I just I get that. Like and I get the whole wanting to have that, but that's just never been my thing. I don't know why. I just I'm cool coming back to it. And now in my old age I just I just read that shit. I don't even hear it, so it doesn't matter. I just I can watch that shit on silent and just read it, bro. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Hmm. If it doesn't have subtitles. ⁓ Shaun: What? ⁓ you're a s wait, you are a subtitles guy? Jen: I can't even hate on the subtitles because I am a subtitles. Yes. Same. I know. Barry: Bro, I can't understand or hear what the hell some people are saying sometimes. So I'm like, I wanna know. Shaun: That's disgusting. That is gross, no. Subs are only okay if it's anime, and I don't even really watch anime like that, but. Jen: No. I d I do yes. Same Z. Gotta have ⁓ Barry: Bro, I have it on every one of our streaming apps. Every one of ⁓ Yeah. Again. Shaun: That is disgusting. ⁓ my gosh, it's like the toes all over again. Jen: I'm telling you, I turned thirty and it all went downhill. I can't hear anything. I mean I need to I need to read it. Barry: I know my left ear is worse than my right ear. I cannot hear much. I don't say I can't hear much, but my left ear hearing is way more affected than my right ear hearing. Like when people say talk to my good side, I already got that shit going on. Like, talk, no, talk to my good side, y'all. Straight up. Or if I don't want to hear you, guess what? You're gonna get the left ear. Talk to my left. Talk to my strong ear. Right here. I can't hear you. Shaun: I'm older than you. Jen: Mm. Wow. He said no, but really. Shaun: Okay. Fox of my strong ear. Speak up, son. Jen: He's literally gonna be that old guy, like this this one. You gotta talk into this one. Barry: ⁓ and if my kids are in front of me talking, bro, Like we me and and my youngest were walking to the mailbox today and she was saying something and I was like, Girl, I cannot hear you for a damn thing. You gonna have to turn back over like stop and turn and look at me 'cause I got nothing. Jen: Yeah. I didn't catch any of that, sweetie. Shaun: Yeah. Probably from stealing your mom's car and playing the music too loud while you're cruising around the streets of Copperas Cove with your friends. Barry: I mean, yeah, well we used to I mean I have had way too many systems and yeah, I had them bitches on blast. It's a bad ⁓ no, I hundred I am that c I'm that person. I was like I ain't gonna affect my hearing. I'm gonna l listen to my my my ear my music as loud as I want to. Jen: I was just about to say it's probably from that story of the first episode. Mm-hmm. Shaun: Okay. Yeah. Jen: Okay. Barry: Not a good call. Shaun: You cannot defeat Mother Nature or Father Time. Barry: no. Father Time and Mother Nature are undefeated. They always win. They all I said this to Becca in the car the other day. She said She had never heard that. I said Father Time is undefeated. She said, What? Shaun: Undefeated. Yeah. You can't just do your own thing. Jen: The show. Shaun: What? Jen: Really? Shaun: Becca, come on. Barry: So that was like, what do you mean? What? Time is undefeated? Time always wins. You never heard any of these? No. I don't know. Jen: That's so funny. Shaun: There are two people that have given Father Time a battle. That's Tom Brady and LeBron James. Like they have given Father Time a heck of a battle. I'm just they're goats. I'm just saying. Like they have played at such a high level. Barry: My gosh, do we really gotta just start talking like this for any reason? They're they're they're top five respectively in each of their professions. Top five for sure. Yeah, I'll give you that. Jen: Nah. Shaun: Excuse me, top five? Okay. We're just gonna Barry: Top five. I won't argue that. I mean, if they're your goats, they're your goats and that's great. I I respect your goat list. Shaun: There's there's not an argument to be made. It's it's not that they're it's not that they're my goats. They are objectively the goats. Jen: Good for you. Barry: ⁓ no, they are, 'cause they're not everybody's. I I guarantee you that. So Jen: ⁓ Shaun: Well, everybody who says that they're not is just wrong, is all I can tell you. Are what are you saying? First of all, we'll we'll save Braun for a second, but who's who's the better QB than Tom? Barry: Okay. All right. Yeah, we'll we'll talk we'll talk greatest on other things. Who's a better QB? I mean, you're saying goat like he's one of the best I think he's one of the best QBs ever, for sure. Shaun: Yeah. I think you have to put ⁓ in the box of QB. Barry: I I mean I when you say goat, I just think like all all together. Shaun: I don't I don't think I think that's different in NFL. We can talk about that. ⁓ Barry: Okay. Well I can I can get that. I mean basketball's a way le a way more positionless league than the NFL for sure. So I could s I can s I can respect that. But I mean we'll talk we'll debate those on other episodes. ⁓ just a taste. Just a taste. Just know that me and Shaun do not agree on that. A lot, actually, yeah, for sure. ⁓ that's what makes this great. Cause we have different opinions, y'all. Shaun: ⁓ for sure. Yeah. Yeah. We'll talk about that later on. 'Cause you Yeah, you're just wrong. Jen: We'll discuss this later. Shaun: ⁓ we don't agree on a lot of stuff. A whole lot. Yes. We can we can disagree respectfully. Yes. ⁓ love is a strong word. You know, you know how I feel about saying love. You know how I feel about saying love. Barry: And we still love each other. Jen: There you go. There you go. Barry: No you love me. You know you love me. You know you love me, bro. I mean, it is what it is, why not say it bro? I appreciate that. I would agree. Right back at you. Jen: ⁓ you love him. You better cut it out. Barry: if it is what it is, why not say it bro? I appreciate that. I would agree. back at you. Shaun: You're the homie dog. You're you're my homeboy. You're the homie dog. You're you're my homeboy. Jen: So much love in the room, guys. So much love in the room, guys. Barry: That's why he was jealous of me talking about Ray last week. That's why he was jealous of me talking about Ray last week. Shaun: Dog, that's just garbage is what that is. Your best friend just saying your best friend is God, that's a stab in the heart. Jen: Yeah, he said who this Hobie. Barry: No, that's my best fri that that legit is probably my best friend. I it's hard to say. I don't know. Like and my other boy my other boy Rich, ⁓ he live he moved in St. Louis. Me and him used to ride or die in high school, but we used to never be apart. Jen: Fire. Yeah. Shaun: So you got best friends and you got rider dies. It's cool. Guess I'm just chopped liver. Yeah. Then you can't talk about anything either. Jen: Mm. Mm-hmm. I just see you like, yeah, like slowly. Shaun, yikes. Barry: No, it's not, bro. We all ha it's just a different chapter in life. You're my ride or die right now. I spend more time with you than most other people. Outside of work and this for sure. We we have we have bro dates. I don't have many of those. It's been a minute. It has been a minute, see? Shaun: Okay, I'll accept that. I'll accept that. I'll take I'll take what I can get. Dude, we haven't had a broad date a while, actually. In a minute. Yeah. Jen: Current hotspot. I'm still salty that I've never been to one. But whatever. Barry: I mean Shaun: I mean, you're n not technically a bro, so Barry: You're a s you're a very cool person, Jen. Don't ever let anybody tell you anything different. But now now can now Kenny could come. Jen: Whatever. Whatever. Shaun: Your husband's welcome. I mean he can definitely come and join. ⁓ never mind. Apparently he can't. But that's crazy. Jen: He's not allowed to go up I can't. No, I'm just kidding. You can take ⁓ on a bro date. Shaun: Whatever. Man. Well, you mean what? We will see. Dog fur I mean, it's looking like the Spurs are gonna pull this one out. It's I I'm just saying it's getting pretty late. It's I will take the fall for this one because I have not been actually watching the game. Barry: I don't know. I mean, we'll see. We'll see. ⁓ I mean don't don't jinx nothing fool, just ⁓ okay, no, no, no, you're right, you're right. Okay. I told you my my prediction is still possible. Jen: A Yeah. There's still fifty nine seconds left. Shaun: Possible not likely. Barry: This was an important game for the Knicks. I feel like more pressure was on the Knicks to win this game than the Spurs. Game three. Yeah. I do. Shaun: ⁓ wow, why? Jen: For sure, yeah. Yeah. Barry: 'Cause I feel like the Spurs know they should have won game two. So they know they can beat ⁓ And I feel like they came out and dude, the way they started, are you can they win like for two and then like eight for eight or nine for nine and just like set the tone for themselves. So I feel like they can't they've play and the Wemby's played a lot more free this game for what I've seen. I haven't watched it like hardcore. I'll go back and watch the w ⁓ replay. And yo, think about the pr mm. ⁓ Shaun: Yeah. Jen: I also like the expectation was there for the Knicks to win. Like everybody is expecting them to win this. Like, ⁓ you're back in New York. Yeah. Yeah. For sure they're gonna sweep. Like the pressure was there. Shaun: Yeah, that's California. Yeah. Barry: All the money, all them tickets, bro, all the home crowd and you know your boy G DJ T was in the crowd and he got booed up in there. But I mean, I think he might be well yo, what if he jinxed him by going to tonight's game? I'm gonna I I mean, I hate to say I'm gonna laugh at Knicks fans, but I would probably laugh at Knicks fans if that happened. Yeah, all the outdoor viewing parties, that kinda was the whole thing that's really like giving them their mojo. And now you got your boy out here. Shaun: DJ T. He probably did, honestly. Because they had to cancel all of Well they had to cancel all of the parties and stuff. Like all of the watch parties. Yeah. Yeah. Barry: Mm. Anyways, well that's a whole nother subject. But yeah, it does look like they're gonna hold on for one to get what is it, one one twelve, one thirteen? They got a little lead. Yeah, yeah, it's probably gonna be a wrap for it's gonna be a two one series, so now we got a series. I like it. Shaun: Messing up the vibes. That is No, it's over. Yeah. Jen: Is it? Shaun: Yeah, there's only twelve seconds left, so it's over. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: It is a series. I mean, Knicks in Six still gonna be likely. Yeah. Well either way we're for sure getting a game five at this point, so ⁓ Barry: I mean, we're both there in six games, so it'll be interesting to see how we get there. Which one we get to. That's the good thing, bro. Saturday night, we got a game. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yes. We're gonna have to figure out a way to watch it too. I don't know how it's gonna work out but we're gonna have to figure that out. Barry: Yeah. I mean I'm I'm using the free YouTube T V joint right now. Got my three weeks, I'm about but I tried to go like pre cancel it and they said you're gonna lose any like anything you have. I was like, damn, y'all are ruthless. Like y'all gonna really make me come back on day twenty one and get rid of this bitch. So horrible. So horrible. Those bitches, bro. Shaun: ⁓ yeah, that's true. Yeah, you'll lose it ahead of time. Yeah. Even me as a paid subscriber, if I were to cancel it, you lose it at that day. Yeah. They want their money, man. I gotta get that money. Barry: Yeah, they do. ⁓ dude, eighty three dollars a month is absurd. Jen: Mm-hmm. They're gonna get it. Shaun: is, but I mean ⁓ Barry: 83 a month. I thought it was for the year. I was like, I might let it lapse. And then I was like, ⁓ no, it's eighty-three dollars a month. Shaun: So many different things. Yeah. That's that's expensive. But e either way you look at it, like if you want to be able to watch it, like they're all expensive. It doesn't matter what you use. Yeah. Barry: I just you cut the core, bro, and they followed you. I was gonna say. Yeah. I'm either gonna pay for that, I'm gonna pay for ESPN. Like that's what was this I was like, I'm lucky I found this. Jen: Well comes the price to eye. Yeah, they are. Shaun: Man. Well dude, I've got some questions for you. I got Jen: Hmm. Barry: Lucky I found this. ⁓ Or are we talking about feet again, Shaun? Okay. All right. Shaun: We're not talking about feet this time. But I do have a right. I do have a tet I mean, test is kind of harsh. I guess quiz. I have a quiz for you. Yeah, it's a quiz. It's a it's a fun quiz. But are you or are you not a fan of the office? Dog. I mean they're down two. There's only nine seconds left. That is a lot of time. Jen: It always comes back around. Barry: I hate tests. Please don't make it a test. Okay. I can do a quiz. All right. Yo, Knicks just hit a three, bro. They're down two. Sorry to interrupt you. Nine seconds. That's a lot of time in basketball. Anyway, sorry. Go ahead. Jen: I haven't. Shaun: We'll see. We'll see how it happens, but it's it's over. I'm not really thinking that they're gonna come back. But are you or are you not a fan of the office? Okay. I've got a quiz. We are. I am. Barry: Yes. We all are, I feel. Are you? What gonna say? I feel like we all are. Okay, what kind of quiz is this though? Is this like a general knowledge of the show quiz? Okay. All right. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: That's why I have a quiz for you. So, general knowledge of the office. I've got five questions. Each question has a bonus question that goes along with it. So, cannot Google. Actually, I should I should have you hold your hands up so I can make sure that you're not Googling. you ain't cheating, you ain't trying to. ⁓ man. It must be a timeout because there's still nine seconds left. Barry: Okay. I can't Google ⁓ I'm assuming. Okay. I mean you know me, bro, I like to win. Hold on. I'm gonna take a screenshot. No, I'm joking. Yeah, there are. I got it on my other monitor, I'll tell you what happened. Shaun: But right, all right. So I have this quiz. These hmm, my god. I have this quiz for you. Five questions. Each question has a bonus question. So it is worth a total of 10 points. Not multiple choice. You just have to know it. You just have to know it. Alright. So Jen: Mm. Barry: Multiple choice or just I gotta know it? Damn. All right. Cool. Damn, I love multiple choice. I usually get those for this shit. Okay, I'm gonna do my best. Are we doing it individually or are we doing it to me and Jen doing it together? You you got the answers, I'm assuming. Okay. So me and Jen are doing it. Jen: That's hard. Shaun: ⁓ I've got the answers. You all can do it I mean, you don't have to have the same answers. You can have your own independent answers. That's fine. Barry: No, hundred percent. No, we'll do it. We don't gotta talk ⁓ through. I'm gonna say mine, she'll say hers. Shaun: Okay. So let me drop this down. Got berry. And we got Jen. Question number one.
