- 0:04Good morning, family, Good morning, welcome back to the Morning Devo.
- 0:06It's your bro Sam Lopez aka DJ Sam Rock, and we're here. I
- 0:11got some tech issues. So I was listening to the radio network and it
- 0:13was playing some kind of P Diddy and Apall song and I was like,
- 0:17hold on, time out, why is that playing on my network? I
- 0:21never heard the song before. It was cursing and I had all kinds of
- 0:23stuff on there, and I was like, I looked through my my panel.
- 0:28I was like, why is that song playing. It's not even on
- 0:32my song list or anything. I was a little glitch on their end.
- 0:38So I hope that never happens again. The song was mad Foul and viole
- 0:43and it has nothing to do with my network, so but it was playing
- 0:47full blast. So I was like, m interesting, interesting stuff, man,
- 0:53when you go live. But listen, good morning, God bless you.
- 0:56We're here. So listen, good morning, a new day, and
- 1:00we're going to be telling about the concept of love. The concept of love,
- 1:07amen, because I think what's happening, especially with the young adults and
- 1:11the younger kids and are the generation right before me. The definition of love
- 1:19is being changed by society, not by God, because God's word never changes.
- 1:26As a matter of fact, God is love, So therefore he's not
- 1:29going to change his view on love because his love, he is. The
- 1:36best definition of love is God. Amen is God. So when you get
- 1:42into that reality and that realization the concept of love for your life, Amen,
- 1:49it should change radically, and it should give you a better concept and
- 1:53a better grasp on the idea of love. Amen, because He is Love.
- 1:57So let me just get to my no here real quick. How does
- 2:01the world's idea of love differ because it's different from the love of God?
- 2:09Read that again, How does the world's idea of love differ from the love
- 2:15of God. We're going to be of all books, We're going to be
- 2:20an Exodus. Exodus, chapter number thirty four, verse number six. A
- 2:27lot of people say, listen, the Old Covenant, Bible, the Old
- 2:30Covenant, the Old Testament. God wasn't sure love. He was he was
- 2:39rude, angry, he was mad, he was sure grace It was so
- 2:45mercy really, Exodus, chapter thirty four, verse six. We got to
- 2:49see something there really fast. Because of course people will say that because they're
- 2:53just following people's opinions on God and on the Bible, but when you read
- 2:59it for yourself, you start realizing, wait, that's not true. God
- 3:01to show all kind of mercy, love, grace since the very beginning,
- 3:06since Genesis chapter three, where men disobeyed God, God was showing mercy already
- 3:13at that point. Good morning, God, bless you. Welcome to the
- 3:15morning Devot on Facebook over there, sister Juanne. Good morning God bless you
- 3:20as well. Welcome to the morning Devo. It's good to see my system,
- 3:23my friend. So that's what we're gonna be camping out. Exodus,
- 3:28chapter number thirty four, Verse six. I want to show you something.
- 3:30The concept of love very important of how you define love. Amen. And
- 3:36if you have God in your life, that means you have love in your
- 3:38life. If you have love in your life, that means you have God.
- 3:40You can't take my part. Anything that's good is from God, point
- 3:46blank period. You might be thinking, no, I'm just a good person,
- 3:49laid back or whatever that's good. But God is good. We're not
- 3:53good. He's good. And when he's dwelling in us, right, when
- 3:59he's living abiding in us, then we could do good things because he's doing
- 4:02it through us. Amen. The concept of love what does love mean according
- 4:09to the world and what's the love of God. It's a difference, Amen,
- 4:14And I think you know that already. I think you know that already.
- 4:16The love of this world is it's weird and it's off a member.
- 4:23The love of God is always on point, always available, and always and
- 4:28always relevant to what to what's going on in our lives today. Amen.
- 4:31So if you have any questions, comments, concerns, any prayer requests,
- 4:34don't hesitate to leave it on a live chat. That's what we're here for.
- 4:38Amen. And also, if you're listening from Soul Winners with a z
- 4:41dot Org, thank you so much for your patience and thank you for listening.
- 4:45And that the podcast after this is setting, that this will turn into
- 4:47a podcast and you could share any comments there from your favorite platform, your
- 4:53podcast platform that you used to go into, whether it's Apple, Google,
- 4:56or whatever the case may be. I think Google is going to shut down
- 5:00soon. The niggas concentrate on the podcast on YouTube. I believe I read
- 5:04that right, Amen, So either way there's still gonna be around. They're
- 5:09just gonna put all the concentration on YouTube. I believe it was on their
- 5:14platform and all the others like Spotify and everything. I'm on all those platforms
- 5:19as I'm trying to reach the most amount of people that i can before my
- 5:25time's up here on this earth. Amen. So it's like a personal thing,
- 5:29but it's a public thing at the same time. But I do it
- 5:31because I love people. I love God, I love people. Right,
- 5:35So the concept of love today in the morning, DEVO, let's pray first.
- 5:40After we pray, we shut us ouf for like sixty seconds. Then
- 5:42when we come back, we'll get right into Exodus, chapter number thirty four,
- 5:46Verse number six. Father God, thank you so much. You're an
- 5:49amazing, loving, holy, righteous God. Father God, thank you for
- 5:54revealing yourself through the person of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Thank you for showing
- 5:59and feeling and demonstrating your own love. That while we were far away from
- 6:03you, Lor God, you still died for us, And that while we
- 6:08were in the darkness, you reached out and took us into your marvelous light.
- 6:12That while we were losing our minds, Low God, that you gave
- 6:15us a whisper and opportunity to hear your voice and to be drawn to you
- 6:19for good. I asked the Lord God that you would continue to guide,
- 6:23guard and protect me, guide guard and protect every single person that's listening and
- 6:27watching. I thank you, Lord God for their families, for their lives
- 6:30as well. I pray health, strength and protection to myself, my family,
- 6:33my marriage, our children, everything that we engage in. Lord God,
- 6:38let it be glorifying to you. I pray that over every single person
- 6:41as well that's listening and watching for them, their families. I pray a
- 6:45financial breakthrough over their lives. I pray forth arking angels, ministering angels,
- 6:48warring angels, to annihilate the tactics of the enemies. Give us a new
- 6:54mind, give us a new heart, Low God consistently so that way we
- 6:57can know what the love is comes from you, because you are God.
- 7:00And the concept of love that this world offers that we would know that's to
- 7:04counterfeit love, but we would know that's not the real love that you designed
- 7:09and that you defined, and that who you are is love. So therefore
- 7:12we should be trusting and the concept of love based on your word. Thank
- 7:16you, Lo God for your word, Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding and
- 7:19teaching us. And I pray to look God that every single person will get
- 7:23the concept of love correct and their heart in their mind, and we will
- 7:26walk in victory knowing that we could love because we will love first. We
- 7:30could forgive because we were forgiven first. We could show mercy because mercy was
- 7:32given on to us first. We could show grace because grace was given to
- 7:36us first through God and Jesus name. I pray it is by faith,
- 7:41Amen, and everybody who agreed that, Amen, and amen. So let's
- 7:44go for it. Let's share this out for like a minute on the other
- 7:46side of the sixty seconds, we'll get right into Exodus, chapter number thirty
- 7:49four, verse number six. You ready, I'm ready. Let's go,
- 9:26man. Amen. My system is a little glitchy this morning. That's probably
- 9:30I probably need an update for my system because everything is going real slow.
- 9:33But hopefully everything's good on your end. Hopefully you can hear me and see
- 9:37me well. Amen, Oh glory God. Right, So listen, let's
- 9:41get into it. The concept of love according to right in our minds,
- 9:46and we realize how love is and who love is. Amen. I believe
- 9:50that can transform every relationship that we have. It can transform our lives personally
- 9:56and publicly. Lord and the Lord could do great thing in this concept of
- 10:03love. The world is doing a good job. I was gonna say the
- 10:07best job, and it's not the best job, a good job at trying
- 10:09to show us a different sort of love, a love that doesn't really fulfill,
- 10:13dousn't satisfy. But it's a love that gratifies the flesh for sure,
- 10:18but it doesn't satisfy the soul. That's the way it is, right,
- 10:22So that's why we could be mindful and careful of this whole thing that the
- 10:26world's calling love, which is really not love, it's lust. Right,
- 10:31the concept of love over here on the morning Devo the Book of Exodus,
- 10:37chapter number thirty four, Verse six says, and he passed in front of
- 10:41Moses, proclaiming the Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God,
- 10:50slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands,
- 10:58and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin. The same God of the Old
- 11:03Covenant is the same God of the New Covenant. Ladies and gentlemen. He's
- 11:07a god of mercy, he's a god of compassion, of grace. He's
- 11:13slow to anger, he bounds in love and faithfulness. So many people know
- 11:18that God is faithful even when we when we don't see God moving, He's
- 11:24working on our behalf. He's still working, even when we don't see it,
- 11:28we don't recognize it. He's still working. God never fails. He
- 11:33never leaves us, he never abandons us, He never puts us to shame
- 11:37and man. He took the punishment on the whole of the whole world on
- 11:41himself. I know a lot of people think that God is punishing them for
- 11:46doing whatever they say God is punishing them for. But in actuality, God
- 11:50is not punishing anyone. Right. He took the punishment of the whole entire
- 11:56world, once for all, for all generations, the past, for the
- 12:00future, for the present. Pass in front of Moses, proclaiming the Lord,
- 12:05the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding
- 12:11in love and faithfulness, maintaining love. Who maintains the love he does God
- 12:16does to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin. A lot
- 12:20of people don't like the fact that God forgives wickedness, rebellion, and sin,
- 12:26because that grace right there is uncommon right, it's unmerited favor with God.
- 12:33There's nothing I could do nothing you could do to gain access to God's
- 12:37grace and mercy. Amen. This is not about works, about what I
- 12:41have to do, what you have to do. Religion says you have to
- 12:43do things. The Gospel of Jesus says it's done. Right to tell us
- 12:48did it is finished? God has provided a way for us to go in
- 12:54to the throne room of grace. Right, beil has been torn. We
- 13:01have access right. And if you're trying to live by the commandments, trial
- 13:07you want, But the commandments are impossible to live by unless you are living
- 13:13through the Holy Spirit. With the Holy Spirit never broke any commandments. But
- 13:18the commandments were there to show us our sin right. When Jesus came,
- 13:22he said, I give you a new commandment, love based on love.
- 13:26We're basing it on love. Now, God is love. If you love
- 13:31God and you love people. Amen, you are showing and demonstrating to this
- 13:33world, to your family, to your friends that you belong to a holy,
- 13:37living, righteous God. Amen. Well, we would get it right
- 13:41all the time, of course, not who said, Not even God said
- 13:46we were going to get it right all the time. But he knows that
- 13:48he gets things right all the time. And he doesn't even boast about that.
- 13:52He's perfect in all his ways. Amen, He's perfect in all his
- 13:56ways, and we are just so. I'm so amazing, thrown back by
- 14:03God's mercy, grace and love over my life and over your life. Right,
- 14:07we could testify. Good morning, brother, Rolbert Diaz. God bless
- 14:13you, brother. It's good to see you in the morning. Devo blown
- 14:16away by concept of love. According to God's word, Let me give you
- 14:22a little a little more. Some people are in love with the concept of
- 14:28love. You think about it, right, there's communities out there. It's
- 14:33love. So they've been really infatuated or they're really yeah, in love with
- 14:41the concept of love. Back in the days, well until this very day.
- 14:48I call them girl girl movies. You see these girl movies on Lifetime
- 14:54and all these other networks, and they're so romantic. Right, Valentine's Day
- 15:03a romance story. Right, Boy meets girl, they fall passionately in love,
- 15:09they get married and live happily ever after. And you look at that,
- 15:13you be black man. Excuse me. I wish it was that easy.
- 15:18I wish you could just find someone, fall in love, get married,
- 15:24and then live happily ever after. The concept of love according to how
- 15:28Hollywood shows it. It's based on a lot of emotion, a lot of
- 15:33fantasy. Romance is good right between a man and a woman who are planning
- 15:39on getting married, because romance other than that turns into lustful action, and
- 15:45then lustful action turns into sin and sin birth's death. But of course people
- 15:50are romantic, right. I'm not a romantic per se. I try,
- 15:56you know, I've been married twenty five years, so I try to be
- 15:58romantic. But I'm like more like a person who loves right. But you
- 16:06know, I don't I black out when it comes to like being romantic.
- 16:11I guess I can, but I overthink it. I guess. On TV,
- 16:15you see it all like picture perfect, and then people start looking at
- 16:18that and say, why isn't my partner or my spouse or my boyfriend or
- 16:22my girlfriend or my fiance and my wife like that person on TV? Because
- 16:26it's not real. It's a concept of love that Hollywood gives us, right,
- 16:32and they try to convince us that that's the way love should be.
- 16:36You get older, gain more life experience, you start realizing that those TV
- 16:41shows and those movies, they're not all true as they perceive what happens once
- 16:48real love kicks in, because you know, you see the romance, you
- 16:53see the passionate passion and all that. But what about when we real love
- 16:56kicks in, life hits You think it's gonna be still happily ever after,
- 17:03right, even when the kids are fighting, making noise, throwing toys all
- 17:07over the house and all that, The baby diapers need to be changed and
- 17:11all that. Now you're getting into the nitty gritty and now you're starting to
- 17:15think about weight on that TV show or that movie. They didn't show this
- 17:19part, right, But you love anyway, and you might have the passion,
- 17:23you might still have romance. But what happens in real time when it
- 17:27comes to the concept of love? Good morning, Alicia, God bless you,
- 17:30good morning. It's good to see you in the morning. Devo.
- 17:37About when you come home from work or from business and the house is a
- 17:44mess, everything's thrown all over, you have no energy, get older,
- 17:51start gaining some weight and things like that. Is the romance still gonna be
- 17:56there? What do you think does the love remain even then? Because the
- 18:03love, the concept of love that the world is trying to offer us,
- 18:07is really based on situations, circumstantial love, like based on the circumstances,
- 18:15if everything's all good when you get home from work, if your wife or
- 18:18your husband is just like ready to listen to your day, and you know
- 18:23they have slippers ready for you, the kids are already in bed, the
- 18:29house is clean, or if you live in that kind of perfect situation,
- 18:33then yeah, you're gonna have a hard time thinking any type of concept of
- 18:38love other than that it's true because God's love. People have a hard time
- 18:42believing that because they live in these imaginary situations, or they may have a
- 18:48setup that's like that or similar to what the TV is doing. That takes
- 18:52I think that takes more work to do what the TV is doing in real
- 18:55time than it is to believe in a loving, holy, righteous God.
- 18:59Man. Remember the dues of religion, like I have to do this,
- 19:03that and the third to gain access or to gain the love of God.
- 19:07That's religion. The gospel message of when Moses had had to encounter with God,
- 19:14what did God do? God showed up. God was passing through.
- 19:17God was showing his love. God was showing mercy. God was the one
- 19:19who was compassionate. God was the one who's forgiving wickedness and on righteousness.
- 19:25God was doing that. So what the Moses have to do receive? The
- 19:30religion tells you you have to do this that, and the third the TV's
- 19:33telling you this is what love looks like. This is romance, this is
- 19:34this, that and the third. It's a lot of work, right,
- 19:38it's very religious, it's very like robotic. No one really lives like that.
- 19:44I hope you know that the reality hits in kids, messy home.
- 19:48You know that's too good when you get home, or the conversations are not
- 19:53there as they used to be. The romance is like not really increasing.
- 19:59What happened is that amazingly and Sally right, A lot of times love and
- 20:07a lot of marriages start to fail and fall fade away. What we're wrong.
- 20:15I think what happens is we fall in love with love, not fall
- 20:18in love with God. We fall in love with the concept of love,
- 20:22and we forget that God is love, or we don't know that God's love.
- 20:26It's a lot of people who are in these relations for a long time
- 20:30in the beginning, and especially on social media. I see it all the
- 20:34time. They show the clips of this is how it is when you first
- 20:38get married. You know, the man walks into the room, looks as
- 20:41his wife and taps her from behind and then boom, you know, you
- 20:48know, caresses lf from behind and them boom, she's ready to go.
- 20:51It's over romantic again and the passion is there. Then it says after three
- 20:55years it's still okay. But then after five ten years they show the wife
- 20:59is like, stop touching me, go do the dishes that you know,
- 21:03it has it's funny, but it has some point there, man, Because
- 21:07if we're not willing to grow in our love for God and love for one
- 21:11another, then nothing's gonna change, and things are gonna start fading instead of
- 21:15increasing. Things are gonna start decreasing instead of increasing. When it comes to
- 21:19the concept of love. So the TV, social media and all those things,
- 21:23romantic romance books of course, you know, X rated movies and all
- 21:29that stuff, they give you us a false concept. They're give them our
- 21:33next generation a false concept of love. That's not true love. That's love
- 21:37and fantasy. That's love and love that's love that doesn't satisfy the soul and
- 21:42doesn't really do much to anything. It just gives you like a quick fix
- 21:49and an idea and a concept. So when you look at the Bible,
- 21:53you find out what love is according to God. When you look at the
- 21:56scriptures, you start seeing what love is according to God. God, and
- 22:00anyone who tells you that the God of the Old Covenant of the Old Testament
- 22:03is different from the God of the New Testament, you could show them the
- 22:06scripture that we have today. Amen. He said, Oh wow, you
- 22:08think that God is not a passionate God, or a loving God, or
- 22:12a gracious God and an old Covenant Exodus chapter thirty four, verse six.
- 22:15Check this out. He's a forgiving God, a loving God, a graceful
- 22:19God. He's all of that. Amen, Brother larr or angelot, God,
- 22:23bless you. Man falling love with God, place him first, and
- 22:26you know how to probably love your spouse or anyone for that matter. God
- 22:32is the blueprint. Amen. Great word, thank you. Yeah he is.
- 22:37Once you get that model down, the concept of love will change in
- 22:41your attitude, your mind, your relationships right, and you'll move forward in
- 22:45the real concept of love, which is God. He can't beat around the
- 22:48bush. We know that we're getting thrown all kinds of things and ideas that
- 22:53the world is doing and they're doing a good job at it. Unfortunately a
- 22:56lot of people are buying into this love is love thing. But it's not
- 23:02so. God always gets love right, we don't. But if we follow
- 23:07God, we'll start realizing that, Oh, okay, I need to tweak
- 23:11this area of my life so that way I could get this love situation down.
- 23:15A man the concept of love so real quick. I discovered that there's
- 23:21a Hebrew word called hesse that is often used to describe God's love in the
- 23:26Old Testament, and this word is used in today's verse. Is often translated
- 23:32as stepfast love, or love and faithfulness or even unfailing love. So we
- 23:37see very early in the scriptures many God, bless you. Welcome to the
- 23:45morning Devo. I think you were up here and made a comment before.
- 23:48I think I didn't see it. Thank you for coming to the morning Devo.
- 23:52Hopefully I'm calling you mini because I always mess up your names since the
- 23:56Miro God blessing. He is the lover of my soul. I am so
- 24:00thankful for his love. Yes, God's love, amazing love, a god
- 24:04bad love, right, powerful love. Right, He's passionate. God does
- 24:08romance us amen in his holy way and then his love never fails. He's
- 24:15a God who has the unfailing love, a God of love and faithfulness.
- 24:18So I get what I hope you get what I'm trying to say. The
- 24:22concept of love that this world's offering us and our children and the younger generation,
- 24:26our generation, and it's going to offer the next generation is a false
- 24:30concept of love. Amen. So go to the Word for yourself. Check
- 24:34out God's love in Genesis. Excuse me, Exodus chapter thirty four, verse
- 24:38number six. That's where we were. Read Exodus chapter thirty four, the
- 24:42whole chapter for yourself, and you make a decision and you start understanding the
- 24:47real concept of love according to the Word of God, because God is love
- 24:51right. So thank you for hanging out with me for this morning. Devo.
- 24:52God bless you all. Got to keep you all and remember always that
- 24:57God is good. Peace. Wait one more from Sister Joe. I was
- 25:02not going to ask you to pray for me this morning. My anxiety it's
- 25:07really bad. It's been like this for five days or more. I don't
- 25:11like it. Father, than the name of Jesus. Before we leave this
- 25:14place, before we leave this time, I pray against any anxiety over my
- 25:18sister Joanne. I pray peace right now to her body, physically, emotionally
- 25:22and spiritually, Peace to her mind. Anxiety have to go in the powerful
- 25:26name of Jesus. You don't belong, you can't stay. The love of
- 25:30God is on her life and in her life and working through her life.
- 25:33So anxiety we replace that with peace, the peace of God which transcends all
- 25:37understanding. I pray this by faith, knowing that God, you are able
- 25:41to help my sister were than it comes to anxiety. In Jesus name.
- 25:45Amen and Amen. God bless you as well. Sister Alicia. I'm out
- 25:51of here, am out of time, so sorry, but peace ass
