- 0:15Speaker 1: Segment, Serial Data, and Serial Sister.
- 0:18Speaker 2: You'll be addicted and addicted fast to the number one
- 0:22Speaker 2: tabloid real life podcast. Listen in, listen up.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Woo, woo. Heather MacDonald.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Juicy Scoop.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Have a great interview with a former real housewife of
- 0:37Speaker 4: Salt Lake City. You're going to get into this and
- 0:39Speaker 4: we get into all the scoop on that. It's very
- 0:41Speaker 4: juicy and we really just cover why probably someone should
- 0:45Speaker 4: never go on Housewives. So that is, we go deep.
- 0:49Speaker 4: But first, I just have to talk about the internet
- 0:52Speaker 4: is going crazy over the interviews that Jada Pinkett Smith
- 0:56Speaker 4: has done.
- 0:57Speaker 1: The book is out today.
- 0:59Speaker 4: I tried to, I thought it was out last week
- 1:01Speaker 4: and I had a long drive, so I tried to
- 1:03Speaker 4: get the audio version for my drive, but I will
- 1:06Speaker 4: do it in the next few days.
- 1:07Speaker 1: So I definitely want to hear it in.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Her words, some of the crazy stuff apparently that she
- 1:14Speaker 4: reveals in this book called Worthy. The main bombshell that
- 1:18Speaker 4: I talked about before is that she said, Will and
- 1:20Speaker 4: I were separated for seven years. And that's why when
- 1:24Speaker 4: he went up and slapped Chris Rock, I was like,
- 1:28Speaker 4: what is going on? And now she says, I didn't
- 1:31Speaker 4: see the slap. I thought it was part of a skit.
- 1:34Speaker 4: And so when he came back, I thought it was
- 1:36Speaker 4: part of a skit. And then he starts screaming at
- 1:38Speaker 4: him about keeping my name out of his mouth. And
- 1:42Speaker 4: so it just is basically everybody's like, what is this
- 1:45Speaker 4: book called?
- 1:46Speaker 1: How to Humiliate Your Husband. Like, what is this? Because
- 1:49Speaker 1: it just does not stop.
- 1:51Speaker 4: She also goes on to say, I didn't cheat on
- 1:54Speaker 4: Will because we were separated for seven years. So therefore,
- 1:57Speaker 4: when I had the entanglement with August, this rapper August,
- 2:01Speaker 4: who I misspoke, I thought it was her stepson's friend.
- 2:04Speaker 1: It is actually her son Jaden's friend.
- 2:09Speaker 4: That was just an entanglement because we were really separated anyway.
- 2:13Speaker 4: And she said it was Will Smith that asked to
- 2:15Speaker 4: come on Red Table Talk to talk about her entanglement
- 2:19Speaker 4: with August, which everybody that watched that, men, women, everybody
- 2:24Speaker 4: thought it was the most humiliating interview for not any person,
- 2:29Speaker 4: but certainly a man, where he had to sit across
- 2:31Speaker 4: from her and she has to say, you know, you
- 2:34Speaker 4: knew Will and it happened because you're annoying. Like I
- 2:39Speaker 4: remember watching that and she went on to say that
- 2:44Speaker 4: he was throwing her a birthday party and that he
- 2:47Speaker 4: made it all about him. And the little daughter Willow
- 2:50Speaker 4: and the grandma were like, remember that Will?
- 2:53Speaker 1: And he's just like, I mean, it does not stop.
- 2:58Speaker 4: And then she goes on to say, you know, she
- 3:00Speaker 4: was in love with Tupac and that he asked her
- 3:04Speaker 4: to get married to him while he did time in Rikers.
- 3:07Speaker 4: She also has said that she kissed him and had
- 3:10Speaker 4: no chemistry. So you had no chemistry with this man,
- 3:12Speaker 4: but he also wanted to marry you. She also said
- 3:16Speaker 4: Chris Rock had asked her out. Well, because I guess
- 3:20Speaker 4: even though nobody knew they were separated, somehow Chris Rock
- 3:23Speaker 4: knew that they were separated and asked her to go
- 3:26Speaker 4: out with him. And therefore, that is why Will may
- 3:30Speaker 4: have gotten word of it and was super sensitive to
- 3:32Speaker 4: the fact that he was joking about his wife's alopecia.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Other people are questioning the fact that she had alopecia
- 3:39Speaker 4: at all because her hair is a buzz cut. It's blonde,
- 3:42Speaker 4: but every follicle seems to be filled. I'm not a
- 3:45Speaker 4: doctor of alopecia. People say that can happen.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I don't know. She also said Tupac had alopecia. So
- 3:52Speaker 1: Will Smith has now finally said something.
- 3:56Speaker 4: And I do feel badly for Will Smith because, you know,
- 3:59Speaker 4: I don't blame her for trying to write, to have
- 4:02Speaker 4: a book. And, you know, with all the awful news
- 4:04Speaker 4: going on in the world, this has gotten a lot
- 4:06Speaker 4: of press because it's really like the only celebrity news
- 4:09Speaker 4: that was even happening was all the crazy shit that
- 4:11Speaker 4: she'd said in this book that's coming out in these interviews. Will, though, finally,
- 4:16Speaker 4: after a year and a half of slapping Chris Rock,
- 4:20Speaker 4: Chris and he still have yet to talk.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Chris is like, I'm not going to talk about it.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Chris then has a fabulous....
- 4:27Speaker 4: Standup special. So it got brought up a couple of
- 4:29Speaker 4: months ago. Now it's been a year and a half.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Now it's all getting.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Brought up again.
- 4:33Speaker 4: And people are just like, my God, what kind of
- 4:39Speaker 4: narcissist is Jada that Will has been having to live
- 4:41Speaker 4: with this person? So he gives a response and he
- 4:46Speaker 4: does an interview with New York Times and he indicates
- 4:48Speaker 4: that he supports for Jada's memoir. He says, he writes,
- 4:53Speaker 4: When you've been with someone, I think this was on
- 4:55Speaker 4: his Instagram, for more than half of your life, a
- 4:58Speaker 4: sort of emotional blindness sets in and you can all
- 5:02Speaker 4: too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and
- 5:07Speaker 4: subtle beauties. So first when the quote started, I was like, oh,
- 5:11Speaker 4: he's admitting that he's basically in like an emotionally abusive
- 5:14Speaker 4: relationship where he's just had to take everything she's thrown
- 5:17Speaker 4: at him and just be like, you're right. I did
- 5:21Speaker 4: try to throw you a birthday party and you're right.
- 5:23Speaker 4: I guess I cared about that it would.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Make me look good. Like literally she said, you threw
- 5:28Speaker 1: me a birthday party and it wasn't what I wanted.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It's what you wanted. And therefore you're a dick. I mean,
- 5:33Speaker 1: she is the worst wife ever. And, and, um, so
- 5:38Speaker 1: he says it's out.
- 5:40Speaker 4: So it just seems like, you know, he, he's like
- 5:43Speaker 4: on this boat and he's just making a light of it,
- 5:46Speaker 4: but he's basically saying he totally supports her in her book.
- 5:49Speaker 4: She says, we were separated for all those years, but
- 5:52Speaker 4: we'll never get divorced. I really want, I really want
- 5:57Speaker 4: Will to file for divorce. Please file for divorce. Nobody,
- 6:00Speaker 4: even if you are never going to get divorced, but
- 6:02Speaker 4: you can date other people, nobody is going to want
- 6:04Speaker 4: to seriously date you, Will, whenever Little Jada Pinkett is
- 6:08Speaker 4: there like with her emotional hold on you. So someone
- 6:12Speaker 4: please rescue Will off that boat and take him to
- 6:16Speaker 4: Laura Wasser and get him a proper divorce from this monster.
- 6:20Speaker 4: I think everyone would agree with that. Let me see
- 6:23Speaker 4: what else she said. Oh, she also in the book says,
- 6:26Speaker 4: I guess she had a rough childhood or something. And
- 6:29Speaker 4: she talks about pulling switchblades on people. And she had
- 6:32Speaker 4: a gun held to her head when she was a
- 6:35Speaker 4: drug dealer. She was a little drug dealer. And and
- 6:39Speaker 4: then there's been a lot of jokes on the Internet.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And who did this? This is.
- 6:45Speaker 4: I don't know who did this joke, but it's basically
- 6:48Speaker 4: a photo of George Bandersky posted it. But I don't
- 6:52Speaker 4: know if he made this this photo, but it's it's
- 6:56Speaker 4: Jada as Tupac. And it's like Jada reveals she has
- 6:59Speaker 4: been Tupac this entire time. I've seen other ones that
- 7:02Speaker 4: Jada reveals she has never met Will Smith. There have
- 7:05Speaker 4: been a lot of funny things about just people being like,
- 7:10Speaker 4: who is this woman? I've always thought she was extremely arrogant.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I always thought.
- 7:14Speaker 4: that them dressing alike and coming together when he was
- 7:18Speaker 4: the one that was getting all the Oscar worthy movies.
- 7:21Speaker 4: And she really wasn't. Yet every interview he did, she
- 7:24Speaker 4: got to be next to him. She got to be
- 7:26Speaker 4: on Oprah with him. She got to talk about how
- 7:28Speaker 4: she wears the pants even. And it was cute because
- 7:31Speaker 4: he's like six, four and she's like five feet tall.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Now we know she's just a nightmare. Maybe I'll feel different.
- 7:39Speaker 1: If I read the whole book and these things are
- 7:41Speaker 1: not taken out of context, maybe I'll have a better understanding.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But you best believe I'll be reading it and giving
- 7:48Speaker 1: a book report in the next two days. Maybe not
- 7:50Speaker 1: two days. Give me a little more time. I have
- 7:51Speaker 1: a lot of things to do.
- 7:52Speaker 4: But I'm definitely going to read it or I'll listen
- 7:55Speaker 4: to it. I think I need to listen to it
- 7:56Speaker 4: so then I can imitate her voice and do it.
- 7:59Speaker 1: That's what I kind of hope to do.
- 8:01Speaker 4: All right, you guys, you're going to go to HeatherMcDonald.net
- 8:03Speaker 4: so that you can join my Patreon, see all the goods. Also,
- 8:07Speaker 4: we have all this fabulous new merch.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I love it.
- 8:10Speaker 4: But right now, let's get into a real juicy interview
- 8:13Speaker 4: with my now friend, Angie Harrington from Real.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Housewives of Salt Lake City. I have.
- 8:21Speaker 4: A gorgeous girl, but you might know her from previously
- 8:24Speaker 4: being on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Angie Harrington,
- 8:28Speaker 4: a juicy scooper.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yes, very much so. Listen in, listen up, whoop, whoop.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I even know.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And you were just saying something very nice about me,
- 8:37Speaker 1: so I'd like you to repeat it on air.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Of course. Let's repeat the flattery for sure. We were
- 8:42Speaker 2: chatting for a long time. I'm like, we should record this.
- 8:45Speaker 2: So several different Bravo podcasts have asked me to be on,
- 8:49Speaker 2: not all of them, but a lot. And I have
- 8:52Speaker 2: not done a single one. And I asked to be
- 8:54Speaker 2: on Heather MacDonald. I've been on The Pop Apologist because
- 8:58Speaker 2: they're friends of mine. But I specifically asked to be
- 9:01Speaker 2: on yours.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Well, I appreciate it because I love when someone asks
- 9:05Speaker 4: and I'm not chasing somebody.
- 9:06Speaker 1: And then I'm like, okay, they're ready to talk. This
- 9:08Speaker 1: is great. Let's get into it.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Totally.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So you were on season three of Real Housewives of
- 9:14Speaker 1: Salt Lake City. Two and three.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Two and three.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And we're going to remind people a little of that.
- 9:20Speaker 4: But first, let me just give them a general background
- 9:23Speaker 4: of your life, how you came about to agree to
- 9:27Speaker 4: be on this show.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Like, where did you grow up and everything?
- 9:30Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. So I was pregnant and I get
- 9:36Speaker 2: a phone call from my friend at the time, Lisa Barlow.
- 9:39Speaker 2: She's like, oh, my gosh, a new reality show is coming.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I mean, for as long as I've known Lisa, well,
- 9:44Speaker 2: I've known her since I was 16 years old.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Yeah, we worked in a telemarketing office together.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Not Jen Shah's though.
- 9:50Speaker 2: No, no, no. But we would, that's a great question.
- 9:55Speaker 2: We would just sit there and like make a phone
- 9:57Speaker 2: call and then talk about fashion. you know so we
- 9:59Speaker 2: immediately clicked but um she went like in my adult
- 10:04Speaker 2: life she was always involved she had her hands in
- 10:07Speaker 2: something whether it was like oh i'm gonna try to
- 10:08Speaker 2: get this reality show or she would always kind of
- 10:11Speaker 2: had her hand on the um pulse, I guess I
- 10:13Speaker 2: should say.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So she was always sort of into reality shows and
- 10:16Speaker 1: thought she'd be a good fit.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I mean, I think she's definitely, I think it's safe
- 10:19Speaker 2: to say she's definitely one of those people that loved
- 10:21Speaker 2: that spotlight. Yeah. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I think people need to own it.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I mean, first of all, listen, every, I mean, when
- 10:29Speaker 4: I was, I always knew I wanted to be like
- 10:31Speaker 4: kind of in this business. And the first reality shows
- 10:33Speaker 4: that I saw were like Studs, which is a dating show,
- 10:35Speaker 4: which they ended up approaching me at a bar and
- 10:37Speaker 4: I was on it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: It was a weird dating show.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But it was the real world and all that kind
- 10:41Speaker 1: of stuff. And I'd watch it.
- 10:43Speaker 4: And when you kind of, you either are attracted to
- 10:45Speaker 4: it as a viewer or you think I could maybe
- 10:48Speaker 4: do it.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And maybe your background is a little bit in acting
- 10:52Speaker 1: or whatever. And I see that you had a little
- 10:53Speaker 1: of that. So it's most housewives.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Are not totally plucked from obscurity. Most of them, like
- 11:01Speaker 4: Anini Leakes, you know, was always pursuing acting and stuff
- 11:04Speaker 4: or had aspirations. Or even if it was like, Teresa Giudice,
- 11:07Speaker 4: who took dance and singing as a kid, but then
- 11:10Speaker 4: didn't pursue it as an adult.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Most all of them that get chosen are extroverts and
- 11:16Speaker 1: they like the spotlight, but some of them pursued it
- 11:19Speaker 1: more traditionally and others didn't. Right.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Right. And so I was a professional dancer. I grew
- 11:25Speaker 2: up performing my whole life. I was fully identified with performing.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Like I thought I had to walk in a room
- 11:30Speaker 2: and entertain everybody for the longest time. And now I'm
- 11:33Speaker 2: just like, just be chill. But it's funny because my castmate,
- 11:36Speaker 2: Heather Gay, and I, we're both just like showgirls at heart.
- 11:39Speaker 2: We'll call each other and like break into song. We're like,
- 11:42Speaker 2: how are we going to get on Broadway? Like we've
- 11:44Speaker 2: got to figure out how to get on Broadway. And
- 11:46Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm not on the show anymore, but I'm
- 11:48Speaker 2: planning on you getting there and then I'll be your
- 11:50Speaker 2: backup girl.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So you guys are still close.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. I'm closest to her on the show. I'm
- 11:55Speaker 2: also close to Meredith, but specifically Heather. Anyway, so Lisa
- 12:00Speaker 2: calls me one day and is like, hey, there's this
- 12:03Speaker 2: reality show coming. It's about women in business. It's really classy.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I'm like, you know that's what they tell everybody, right?
- 12:09Speaker 4: Every housewife I've ever had from every franchise says that's
- 12:13Speaker 4: what it is.
- 12:13Speaker 1: It's either women with their charities or entrepreneurial women. Yes.
- 12:17Speaker 2: And so luckily from the beginning, I was pretty woke
- 12:20Speaker 2: to what was happening. But she was like, no, no,
- 12:23Speaker 2: it's really classy. It's about women in business. And I'm like,
- 12:27Speaker 2: She's like, will you please audition? I go, I have
- 12:29Speaker 2: a feeling it's going to be housewives. And no, I
- 12:33Speaker 2: won't audition. I was pregnant. Like it just wasn't the
- 12:36Speaker 2: time or the place. So then she kept calling me,
- 12:38Speaker 2: begging me. I was like, no, no, no, I don't
- 12:40Speaker 2: want to. And it was funny because she said she'll
- 12:43Speaker 2: probably kill me for saying this. And she goes, finally,
- 12:46Speaker 2: she couldn't understand. Like, why wouldn't you want to do this?
- 12:49Speaker 2: And I just said, she said something like, was it
- 12:52Speaker 2: because you haven't lost the baby weight? And I was like, no,
- 12:56Speaker 2: not everybody wants to do reality TV. They filmed their
- 13:01Speaker 2: first season. Next year comes along. She asked me again, hey,
- 13:04Speaker 2: I need friends on the show. I need allies.
- 13:05Speaker 1: And I think maybe by now you have lost the
- 13:07Speaker 1: baby weight. Just kidding.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah, well, by then I have.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Hi, Angie. It's Lisa. Listen, I love this for you.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I saw you at Whole Foods the other day. You
- 13:17Speaker 1: look like you've really slimmed down since the baby.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yes, yes. No, and well, we don't have Whole Foods.
- 13:22Speaker 2: We're not that cool. Actually, we do in Park City,
- 13:24Speaker 2: Salt Lake, not where I live. Okay. But yeah, so-
- 13:28Speaker 2: It had nothing to do with the baby weight, to
- 13:30Speaker 2: be honest. But, um, season two, she was like, just audition.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Like I need a friend on the show that my
- 13:36Speaker 2: son by that time was one. So I was like,
- 13:39Speaker 2: I'll audition. I'll never get it. They auditioned like 250
- 13:42Speaker 2: women each season. So I audition, I'm having fun with it.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And then they call me after a series of auditions.
- 13:49Speaker 2: It's a lot of auditions. Um, And there's like buzz
- 13:52Speaker 2: around the town. It's like, who's auditioning? I know this
- 13:54Speaker 2: girl's auditioning.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Does it start with like a phone call, then a Zoom,
- 13:58Speaker 4: then we come to your house, then we meet the fam?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Phone call from the casting director, which I'm friends with her.
- 14:03Speaker 2: She's such a fun personality. She knows how to pick
- 14:06Speaker 2: really fun people.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 2: So we had a phone call and we like bonded
- 14:10Speaker 2: over Aaron Carter and his girlfriend at the time because
- 14:13Speaker 2: like it was just like such a shit show, you know.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But now obviously rest in peace. It's unfortunate what happened there.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Did you know them or something?
- 14:20Speaker 2: No, we just like couldn't believe like we started talking
- 14:24Speaker 2: because I'm a big Backstreet Boys fan.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 14:26Speaker 2: And so we started talking about Aaron Carter. She's a
- 14:28Speaker 2: big boy band fan. Okay. And we just like connected
- 14:31Speaker 2: over like the drama of that like relationship unfolding on
- 14:35Speaker 2: social media. We just thought it was hilarious.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Okay.
- 14:37Speaker 2: So then I made it to the next level. I
- 14:40Speaker 2: talked all about my obsession with aliens, and I think
- 14:42Speaker 2: they love that.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I do want to talk to you about that in
- 14:45Speaker 1: a minute.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I got a lot to say about that.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:48Speaker 2: So I made it clear to them. I was like, look,
- 14:52Speaker 2: I'm not a drama girl. I don't like confrontation, but
- 14:55Speaker 2: I will always stand up for myself, and I will
- 14:57Speaker 2: always be honest and give my opinion. And they were like, yeah, yeah,
- 15:01Speaker 2: don't worry about the drama, you know, whatever. So anyway,
- 15:04Speaker 2: I get a phone call. They're like, hey. You got it.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And so did a girl named Jenny Nguyen. And so
- 15:12Speaker 2: did Sarah Jane Warner, who is my best friend and neighbor.
- 15:16Speaker 2: So I was like, now I have to do it
- 15:18Speaker 2: because I got cast and my best friend got cast.
- 15:21Speaker 2: So that's when season two started. They cast me and
- 15:25Speaker 2: they immediately sensed, from what I gather and what was
- 15:28Speaker 2: communicated to me, the producers immediately sensed that there was this...
- 15:33Speaker 2: I didn't realize this. When the new girl comes in,
- 15:35Speaker 2: there's a lot of like the other classmates. Some of
- 15:39Speaker 2: them get threatened. And so they sniffed out that like
- 15:43Speaker 2: people were getting territorial and uncomfortable. And they're like, you
- 15:47Speaker 2: know what? We love you so much. We believe in you.
- 15:49Speaker 2: We're going to give you the first cast event. Well,
- 15:51Speaker 2: apparently that's a big thing.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the kudos, right? Yeah.
- 15:56Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, cool. They like me.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Cool. And what was your cast event?
- 16:00Speaker 2: And I think they were trying to get people pissed
- 16:02Speaker 2: off at me.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Oh.
- 16:04Speaker 2: That was the LGBTQ charity, like, casino night I hosted
- 16:10Speaker 2: at my house. Do you remember, like, the pink feather dress?
- 16:12Speaker 2: And my friend gave a million dollars.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Oh, right.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Okay.
- 16:17Speaker 1: And this is because your stepchild is transgender.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Correct. So, yeah.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And so this was a few years ago.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Right. And my girlfriend is the founder of a foundation
- 16:29Speaker 2: called Encircle. And they had like really big people involved,
- 16:32Speaker 2: like Tim Cook, the Apple CEO. And then I believe
- 16:38Speaker 2: Dwayne Wade was involved, Dan Reynolds. So she had like
- 16:41Speaker 2: a really prominent foundation that was making massive waves for
- 16:45Speaker 2: the LGBTQ community. I thought, what a great way to
- 16:48Speaker 2: showcase them even further.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Right.
- 16:50Speaker 2: So I had her come in, and we did an
- 16:52Speaker 2: event for them. So we have that event, and apparently
- 16:56Speaker 2: women are fuming that I get this event.
- 16:59Speaker 1: So they came in with a toot or what?
- 17:01Speaker 2: Well, do you remember what happened?
- 17:04Speaker 1: Remind us.
- 17:05Speaker 2: If you remember what happened, and I always try to
- 17:07Speaker 2: be fair here, my caterer's called and canceled. They said, oh,
- 17:13Speaker 2: we can't do it.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Oh, that's right.
- 17:15Speaker 2: And so I immediately flags went off. I was like,
- 17:20Speaker 2: I feel like someone's involved there. And then the next day,
- 17:22Speaker 2: what wasn't shown was my girlfriend, Stephanie, who runs the
- 17:25Speaker 2: foundation called and was like, we got a phone call
- 17:29Speaker 2: and Jen Shaw's pissed. You're having this event. And she
- 17:33Speaker 2: is like pissed that we didn't do an event with her.
- 17:36Speaker 2: So it was causing problems. And I was thinking.
- 17:39Speaker 1: So who canceled the caterer?
- 17:41Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, you know who I think
- 17:44Speaker 2: canceled it.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You thought it was– Do you think it's Jen then?
- 17:47Speaker 2: I think– what I think happened was they had me
- 17:50Speaker 2: film a scene at Sarah Jane's house telling– they're like,
- 17:54Speaker 2: let Lisa know about your event. And I was like, oh, yeah,
- 17:58Speaker 2: for sure. And I let her know and I could
- 17:59Speaker 2: tell like– Maybe she wasn't upset, but I could tell
- 18:02Speaker 2: she wasn't excited as a friend should be.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:05Speaker 2: So then I told her and I told her, like
- 18:08Speaker 2: I said, I'm using these caterers. You know, you've used
- 18:11Speaker 2: them before. I'm thinking she'd be excited.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:14Speaker 2: What I think happened after that was I know a
- 18:17Speaker 2: phone call was made to my girlfriend, Sarah Jane, complaining
- 18:20Speaker 2: about the event from Lisa. And then after that, I
- 18:23Speaker 2: think my guess is she then called the caterers because
- 18:27Speaker 2: she's a territorial person. And I think she must have
- 18:30Speaker 2: called the caterers and it was like, hey, if you
- 18:33Speaker 2: don't do this event, I'll feature your restaurant. That's my
- 18:36Speaker 2: guess because that's what was said in the text message.
- 18:39Speaker 2: We can't do your event. Jen's assistant called and they're
- 18:43Speaker 2: going to feature our restaurant. So we got to do that,
- 18:45Speaker 2: which from their perspective, totally fine. Like I get it.
- 18:48Speaker 2: It's not the most professional thing, but I get it.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I'd rather have my new restaurant on a show than.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Right. How much warning did you have before you were
- 18:55Speaker 1: left without a caterer?
- 18:57Speaker 2: Five days.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Wow.
- 18:58Speaker 2: So then that was very sus to me because the
- 19:01Speaker 2: only person I had told that to was Lisa and
- 19:03Speaker 2: Sarah Jane in that scene.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Filmed.
- 19:06Speaker 2: And I trust Sarah Jane. She's my good friend. She
- 19:09Speaker 2: called me. She goes, I got a weird phone call.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Lisa wasn't so happy about this event. So then I
- 19:15Speaker 2: get that. Then the caterers fall out. And then the
- 19:17Speaker 2: next day, my friend Stephanie says, Jen Shah's up in
- 19:20Speaker 2: arms that you're working with us, but you're my dear friend.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Of course, I'm going to work with you. Well, who
- 19:25Speaker 2: do you think told Jen Shah?
- 19:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:28Speaker 2: It was either producers or Lisa. So all the puzzle
- 19:31Speaker 2: pieces together felt very valid into, and I never said
- 19:35Speaker 2: you did this. I just said, this is very strange
- 19:38Speaker 2: to me. Well, as you know, World War III erupted.
- 19:41Speaker 2: It turned into this massive issue. And I don't think
- 19:46Speaker 2: anybody was necessarily trying to sabotage the LGBTQ. community. No,
- 19:51Speaker 2: I don't think it was about that.
- 19:51Speaker 1: This is a common... thing that happens behind the scenes.
- 19:57Speaker 3: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:00Speaker 3: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:03Speaker 3: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 20:08Speaker 3: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 20:14Speaker 1: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 20:17Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:19Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:21Speaker 3: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 20:24Speaker 3: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:27Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 20:28Speaker 3: I need a home dad.
- 20:29Speaker 2: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 20:34Speaker 3: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 20:37Speaker 3: go through. It's about what happens next.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 20:42Speaker 2: every day was.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You're worth the work.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches. You can
- 20:47Speaker 2: use your voice even if it shakes.
- 20:48Speaker 3: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:02Speaker 1: Like with OC, whatever.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Right now, if you're watching OC, it's like, you know, Jen,
- 21:08Speaker 4: the new girl, Jen comes on and she's shocked that
- 21:11Speaker 4: You know, Tamara, who encouraged her to be cast in it,
- 21:14Speaker 4: she thought they were friends, really came after her the
- 21:17Speaker 4: whole season. And I think it's very obvious that Tamara
- 21:23Speaker 4: may have liked her at one point, but also wanted
- 21:26Speaker 4: to be the star of the show and also be
- 21:28Speaker 4: the A student to the producers and be like, Let
- 21:32Speaker 4: me give you the juicy scoop on the weirdness of
- 21:34Speaker 4: their relationship. Let me tell you what you're going to
- 21:37Speaker 4: ask about this. You're going to see that he had
- 21:39Speaker 4: a cheating thing. You're going to see that he sent
- 21:41Speaker 4: out a dick pic, whatever the story is. And they
- 21:44Speaker 4: were like, what? We thought we were good friends. And
- 21:48Speaker 4: she even said in an interview, or maybe her boyfriend did, said,
- 21:52Speaker 4: that she and Tamara had this great exchange in the bathroom,
- 21:55Speaker 4: and then they go out to nowhere to have dinner,
- 21:57Speaker 4: and all of a sudden, Tamara erupts on her and
- 21:59Speaker 4: throws a napkin at her, and Jen is new to
- 22:01Speaker 4: the cat, new to being filmed, and she's.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Like, why are you acting like this? I thought we
- 22:08Speaker 1: were friends. And I think what's happening now with the audience.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Is they're so sophisticated now to all of it, and
- 22:18Speaker 4: we do know that it's such a catch-22 because They
- 22:22Speaker 4: say to the people, we really want to have your friends.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Who do you have? Right.
- 22:26Speaker 4: And then the housewife, like Elisa, doesn't feel like she
- 22:30Speaker 4: has anyone that she's super close to or no one
- 22:32Speaker 4: has her back or someone was mean to her from
- 22:34Speaker 4: this season.
- 22:34Speaker 1: So she's like, let me get Angie. Right. She'll be
- 22:38Speaker 1: my friend. But she only wants you to be her backup.
- 22:41Speaker 4: She doesn't want you to, like, rise and be liked
- 22:44Speaker 4: and be popular.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 22:46Speaker 2: And that's where all this starts to happen. And they
- 22:49Speaker 2: sniffed that out immediately and ran with that. And I
- 22:51Speaker 2: was naive, not realizing. They were like, oh, she's getting threatened.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And the thing is, to be fair to Lisa, you know,
- 22:57Speaker 2: I think she wasn't in the game long enough to realize, like, oh,
- 23:00Speaker 2: I'm going to bring someone in. And I think we
- 23:02Speaker 2: both went into this genuinely thinking we would have each
- 23:05Speaker 2: other's backs.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:06Speaker 2: But the minute, like, They were pushing this situation. It
- 23:10Speaker 2: was like she wasn't cool with it. And I think
- 23:13Speaker 2: my guess is it freaked her out. But then she
- 23:16Speaker 2: felt betrayed. I called her out. And I'm like, well,
- 23:18Speaker 2: I'm just responding to what happened to me. Like, what
- 23:21Speaker 2: do you expect me to do? Just like roll over
- 23:24Speaker 2: when people are trying to cancel my event for charity?
- 23:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:28Speaker 2: So I think that was definitely the producers being very
- 23:31Speaker 2: smart on how to... initially when I was cast, I
- 23:35Speaker 2: would talk to her on the phone and she'd be like, okay,
- 23:37Speaker 2: so you're coming on as my friend. And like, when
- 23:39Speaker 2: I pack for a trip, you're going to come over
- 23:41Speaker 2: and help me pack. And I was like, doesn't sound
- 23:45Speaker 2: like what? So I told the producers, I'm like, okay, like, look,
- 23:51Speaker 2: I was already hesitant to do this thing. I said,
- 23:53Speaker 2: if I'm just going to be someone's bitch, like, I
- 23:55Speaker 2: don't know if this is the role for me. They're like, no,
- 23:58Speaker 2: we love you. We believe in you. In fact, we're
- 24:00Speaker 2: going to give you the first And I had no
- 24:03Speaker 2: idea what was being manipulated.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:07Speaker 2: So you're absolutely.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Right on that.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I definitely think they know and they definitely put
- 24:11Speaker 4: on people. And I know that, I mean, the first
- 24:14Speaker 4: time I realized it is I was at Heather Dubrow's
- 24:17Speaker 4: groundbreaking event.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Oh, the house, yes.
- 24:20Speaker 1: The house. Our kids were so little.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Like the Western.
- 24:22Speaker 1: The Western.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yes, yes.
- 24:23Speaker 4: I mean, like Kat and my son Brandon, who are
- 24:25Speaker 4: now like seniors in high school, are like– there's a
- 24:27Speaker 4: photo of them.
- 24:28Speaker 1: They're so cute. They're so little.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 4: And we were friendly, and I was a fan of
- 24:32Speaker 4: the show. But, you know, we were all– it was
- 24:35Speaker 4: a different time. It was like 10 years ago, and
- 24:38Speaker 4: there wasn't all this chatting from millions of people weighing
- 24:43Speaker 4: in on every move and every Instagram story you do.
- 24:46Speaker 4: And so– but I remember– being there and looking off
- 24:50Speaker 4: to the corner and there was a producer being like, remember,
- 24:54Speaker 4: she said this and she did this.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Oh, 100%.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And look what time it is and she's not here yet.
- 25:00Speaker 1: So go.
- 25:02Speaker 4: And they're like filming her with her interview off to
- 25:04Speaker 4: the side. And she's like, well, I really don't understand
- 25:05Speaker 4: why Shannon Bedore's not here. Then Shannon Bedore comes.
- 25:08Speaker 1: And sometimes with that, they're like, oh, get there at
- 25:11Speaker 1: two o'clock, Shannon. Yeah. It's like, well, the party started
- 25:15Speaker 1: at 1230. But don't say that.
- 25:18Speaker 2: All that stuff is very methodically thought out and planned.
- 25:23Speaker 2: And so I think.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I think that's why some people go a little bit like,
- 25:25Speaker 1: am I... I mean, the real gaslighting is going on
- 25:30Speaker 1: behind the scenes because you're like, wait, what? No, that's
- 25:33Speaker 1: not what I meant.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Right.
- 25:35Speaker 1: No, I didn't tell her to say that. Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Well, and what people always ask me, is it scripted? No,
- 25:40Speaker 2: it's not scripted. It's highly produced.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Highly produced. Right.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 2: So then after that, it was like all of a
- 25:49Speaker 2: sudden like everyone, Jen and Lisa, two of the hardest
- 25:52Speaker 2: people to argue with on the cast.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Jen Shaw. Jen Shaw.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Yes, are coming for me aggressively. And I'm the new girl.
- 25:59Speaker 2: And like Heather couldn't have been nicer in season two.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Whitney couldn't have been nicer. Mary and I always were fine.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Meredith and I hadn't really gotten on yet. Now I
- 26:12Speaker 2: really like Meredith, but. So I just kind of felt
- 26:14Speaker 2: like I hate this drama. I just lost like one
- 26:17Speaker 2: of my dear friends. I mean, we were more.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Wait, like to death?
- 26:20Speaker 2: Lisa. Oh, sorry.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I thought you had another friend that like passed.
- 26:24Speaker 2: No.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Oh, but you felt your friendship.
- 26:26Speaker 2: RIP to who I thought you were. So yes, a death. No,
- 26:30Speaker 2: but I just like, I remember throwing this massive event.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I probably spent more money on it than I was
- 26:35Speaker 2: going to ever make that season.
- 26:37Speaker 1: What do you think you spent on it?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Which people don't. Yeah. Honestly, I had a lot of
- 26:41Speaker 2: people be gracious and do favors, but my dresses included,
- 26:45Speaker 2: I probably spent 20-something grand on that, knowing that we
- 26:50Speaker 2: were going to raise a lot of money, and we did.
- 26:51Speaker 2: It was worth it.
- 26:52Speaker 4: So the only way you get anything for free is
- 26:54Speaker 4: if you solicit a sponsor yourself.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And you say to the bakery, I'm doing a show.
- 26:59Speaker 1: It's going to be filmed from Housewives.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Would your desserts like to be featured? Which anybody would
- 27:03Speaker 4: want to do.
- 27:04Speaker 1: I mean, the advertising alone to have your liquor or anything.
- 27:08Speaker 2: But there's no guarantee.
- 27:09Speaker 4: There's no guarantee that they're going to zoom in on,
- 27:12Speaker 4: you know, the bakery sign or whatever. And so you
- 27:16Speaker 4: would just have to go, hey. But the rest of it,
- 27:19Speaker 4: they never give you any money for, right?
- 27:22Speaker 2: No, not in my experience.
- 27:24Speaker 1: No.
- 27:24Speaker 2: And my husband always says nothing's free. So I was like, OK,
- 27:28Speaker 2: maybe I'll ask for someone of a discount or, you know,
- 27:31Speaker 2: so people did help us out. And some people gave
- 27:34Speaker 2: us a little bit of a discount. I know Joanna
- 27:36Speaker 2: Buchanan gave the party gifts for free because she's a
- 27:40Speaker 2: supporter of the LGBT community. So that was amazing. But
- 27:43Speaker 2: for the most part, I paid for that whole thing
- 27:45Speaker 2: out of my pocket and then my dress. With my
- 27:47Speaker 2: dresses included, 30 gram for sure. And again, we raised.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Well, you get to keep the dress, right?
- 27:53Speaker 2: Well, yeah. Well, I rented one of them, bought one
- 27:56Speaker 2: of them.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 27:57Speaker 2: But long story short, my husband and I ended up
- 28:01Speaker 2: raising $ 3. 5 million for the LGBTQ community.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Which is awesome.
- 28:05Speaker 2: And that got the ball rolling.
- 28:06Speaker 3: So.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Well worth it. That is one of those things I'm
- 28:09Speaker 2: forever grateful to Bravo for allowing me to shed light
- 28:12Speaker 2: on that because I had so many people from the
- 28:14Speaker 2: transgender community reach out and be like, you guys are
- 28:17Speaker 2: like the parents I never had. No one's ever supported me.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Nobody talks about this on TV. And so that was
- 28:23Speaker 2: worth it. But unfortunately, after that, it just was like,
- 28:27Speaker 2: I felt like I had, in fact, producers told me,
- 28:29Speaker 2: you have a target on your back, just so you know.
- 28:31Speaker 2: For whatever reason, some of these women feel very threatened
- 28:34Speaker 2: and uncomfortable and So I just was like, I don't
- 28:37Speaker 2: like this. I don't like that I just lost this
- 28:40Speaker 2: friendship of 20 years or more, you know, with Lisa.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Even though we weren't, we're more phone friends. I would
- 28:47Speaker 2: see her in person like once every two years, but
- 28:50Speaker 2: we'd talk on the phone and I always knew she
- 28:52Speaker 2: was a little, I don't want to, for lack of
- 28:55Speaker 2: a better term, crazy in like a funny way. Now,
- 28:58Speaker 2: I don't mean that in like a hysterical way, but.
- 29:01Speaker 2: But yeah, I didn't like that energy. So I was like,
- 29:04Speaker 2: peace out. I'm out of here. Right. So I left.
- 29:06Speaker 2: So I did do season two, but just like three episodes.
- 29:09Speaker 1: So season. OK, well, this is season three. Was this
- 29:12Speaker 1: not right?
- 29:13Speaker 2: So season three, the reason I came back. OK. Heather
- 29:16Speaker 2: convinces me. She's like, I got asked to do Below Deck.
- 29:19Speaker 2: She's like, please come. You're secondary. There's no drama for us.
- 29:23Speaker 2: It's all the drama. deckhands or whatever they're called. So
- 29:27Speaker 2: I go, oh my gosh, how fun, Norway. Yeah, let's go.
- 29:29Speaker 2: So we did that. And while we were there, she
- 29:30Speaker 2: was like, please come back to season three. She's like,
- 29:35Speaker 2: you fought with the worst person to fight with. It
- 29:37Speaker 2: won't be the same. And I was like, oh, I can't.
- 29:40Speaker 2: She's like, no. And we had the most magical time
- 29:42Speaker 2: on that vacation. Heather and I became fast friends.
- 29:45Speaker 1: She's really fun.
- 29:46Speaker 2: She's so damn fun. And what people don't realize is.
- 29:49Speaker 2: She's 10 times funnier than what she seems on the show. Like,
- 29:52Speaker 2: she could be a comedian.
- 29:53Speaker 1: I hung out with her when I was in Salt Lake.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Oh, she said that. Yeah, we went out.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Well, first I went to her beauty lab the year before.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Okay, yes.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And she did give me some free Botox, which was
- 30:04Speaker 1: very nice.
- 30:05Speaker 2: She's so good at that, yes.
- 30:06Speaker 4: And then I came back, and we were staying in
- 30:10Speaker 4: Deer Valley, and I went down the hill, and we
- 30:12Speaker 4: went and went to this bar and then this, like—
- 30:16Speaker 4: concert DJ situation.
- 30:18Speaker 1: It was really fun.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:21Speaker 2: She's amazing. I adore her. We like, we just, I
- 30:25Speaker 2: always say, unfortunately I lost Lisa, but I feel like
- 30:28Speaker 2: I made a friend that like I connect with more
- 30:30Speaker 2: naturally anyway.
- 30:31Speaker 1: And so when you were connecting with Heather, And.
- 30:35Speaker 2: At this point, Jen— She's begging me to come back.
- 30:37Speaker 1: But at this point, Jen had not been convicted.
- 30:40Speaker 2: No, no.
- 30:40Speaker 4: And what was your opinion of what she did for
- 30:43Speaker 4: a living? She hadn't been arrested at that point when
- 30:46Speaker 4: you guys were on the below deck?
- 30:49Speaker 2: No, no. So I wouldn't have done it.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Do you think her business was shady at that time?
- 30:53Speaker 2: So I didn't—here's the thing. Utah's really small. Everyone kind
- 30:58Speaker 2: of is connected somehow. But I didn't know Jen Cha
- 31:01Speaker 2: that well. I just knew her husband was a football coach.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I come from a football family. My ex-husband played football.
- 31:06Speaker 2: My children play football. So I kind of knew who
- 31:08Speaker 2: her husband was, but I didn't know her at all.
- 31:11Speaker 2: So I had no skin in the game there. But
- 31:14Speaker 2: it never really made sense because the thing is I
- 31:17Speaker 2: feel like when somebody really flaunts their lifestyle– there's typically
- 31:23Speaker 2: something they're overcompensating for. In my experience. It's like when
- 31:28Speaker 2: you meet people and they immediately name drop all the
- 31:30Speaker 2: cool famous people they know. If you got it, you
- 31:34Speaker 2: don't got to talk about it. You know what I mean?
- 31:36Speaker 1: And speaking of that, when we were first introduced to her,
- 31:41Speaker 1: she really, as a viewer, rubbed me the wrong way. Oh, really?
- 31:44Speaker 1: And I'm glad that I'm on the right side of history.
- 31:46Speaker 2: You are.
- 31:47Speaker 1: About her, and I'm sorry, Mary, though she is making
- 31:50Speaker 1: this season because she's funny.
- 31:51Speaker 2: You're not a fan of her.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Well, I'm not a fan of anyone that is doing
- 31:56Speaker 4: a weird church situation.
- 31:57Speaker 1: And making money off of it.
- 31:58Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 31:59Speaker 4: So it's because of that. But- Her weirdness, it's fun
- 32:02Speaker 4: to imitate, and I think it was smart to bring
- 32:04Speaker 4: her back. But nobody should go to her church or
- 32:07Speaker 4: give her money. But if you want to sit back
- 32:09Speaker 4: and laugh at her oddness, go for it.
- 32:11Speaker 2: I mean, she makes the show for me.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Thank God.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Until she, like, weight-shamed Heather, and then I was like, okay, Mary.
- 32:16Speaker 1: No, she's an awful person.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Like, it's not okay.
- 32:18Speaker 1: She is not a good person. She's an awful person.
- 32:20Speaker 1: She's an odd bird.
- 32:21Speaker 2: But the best television. Because she doesn't give a shit.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Yeah, good TV. So with Jen, I... Right when I
- 32:30Speaker 1: watched that, I was like, oh, my God, all this stuff.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Something's off.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Now, we know now that half of her stuff was real,
- 32:37Speaker 1: the designer, and a lot of it was fake.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Yeah. And all these housewives are wearing, you know, Chanel
- 32:42Speaker 4: snow boots and all this stuff. You do not need
- 32:46Speaker 4: to point figures at anybody.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 32:49Speaker 1: In your finding, do they all know the WhatsApp to
- 32:52Speaker 1: call to get whatever they want made? That's on WhatsApp?
- 32:56Speaker 2: Is that where they counterfeit is on WhatsApp? That's hilarious.
- 32:59Speaker 2: I know there's a lot.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Of housewives that are like, I'll give you the WhatsApp number.
- 33:03Speaker 4: And I think a lot of them, like a lot
- 33:05Speaker 4: of women, not even famous, It's so accessible in circles.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Yes.
- 33:10Speaker 4: And to mix it. And sometimes you have a real
- 33:13Speaker 4: bag and sometimes you don't. And it's really hard to tell.
- 33:15Speaker 2: And people may not know.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Yeah. But I do think it's obnoxious.
- 33:20Speaker 4: Like the last thing I would want to wear if
- 33:21Speaker 4: I was a housewife would be whether real or fake
- 33:24Speaker 4: is an entire Fendi jumpsuit.
- 33:26Speaker 2: No, I hate that. I hate the over-logoing. It's so tacky.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of it.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Um, good question. I don't know. I can say, I'm
- 33:37Speaker 2: not going to say names, obviously. I know who has
- 33:40Speaker 2: money and who doesn't and who, who portrays a certain
- 33:43Speaker 2: lifestyle and who doesn't, who does, who portrays it and
- 33:46Speaker 2: who doesn't actually have it. It's usually those are the
- 33:48Speaker 2: speaking the loudest about how rich they are that aren't
- 33:51Speaker 2: in my experience. I know Heather, especially for being a
- 33:56Speaker 2: single mom, does really well. Beauty Lab and Laser just
- 33:59Speaker 2: opened their second place.
- 34:01Speaker 4: I'm very impressed with her, what she's done with the business,
- 34:05Speaker 4: which she already had, and then really utilizing it.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I mean, she's like a.
- 34:09Speaker 4: You know, kind of using it the way Lisa Vanderpump did.
- 34:11Speaker 4: She had it before and now she's growing it with
- 34:14Speaker 4: the show.
- 34:15Speaker 2: And it fits the branding of Bravo.
- 34:17Speaker 1: And it's authentic to her. Yeah. You know, like she
- 34:19Speaker 1: does it.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Yeah. I, Meredith and Whitney, neither one of them pretend
- 34:23Speaker 2: to be something they're not from what I've realized.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Um, the rest, I don't know. Like I just, I
- 34:31Speaker 2: just think the louder you are about money and price
- 34:34Speaker 2: tags and how big of a deal you are. It's
- 34:37Speaker 2: usually over compensation. As far as counterfeits, I don't know.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I just think it's safe to say probably half.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Probably half. Probably half of what you see on TV.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I think a Gucci baseball cap is a real telltale sign.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I used to have one of those. And I bought
- 34:57Speaker 2: it off the street in New York, and it probably
- 34:59Speaker 2: has a counterfeit. I was just like, I needed a
- 35:02Speaker 2: hat that day.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Or it's the big Gucci t-shirt. Oh, mine are real.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I have two, and they're real. I'm the dummy that
- 35:08Speaker 2: paid for them.
- 35:09Speaker 1: You are the dummy then. You are the dummy. But
- 35:13Speaker 1: whatever people like.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of counterfeiting. Or if you.
- 35:17Speaker 4: Want to go into the store and even buy something
- 35:19Speaker 4: small because you want the experience of going to the
- 35:21Speaker 4: store and having counterfeits. Like I think that can be
- 35:23Speaker 4: a fun experience and I'm not shaming it.
- 35:25Speaker 2: It's unfortunate people feel that pressure because I do think
- 35:28Speaker 2: it's wrong to counterfeit.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 35:30Speaker 4: I don't think it's wrong and I think– and I
- 35:32Speaker 4: also think it's fine if that's what you want to
- 35:34Speaker 4: spend your money on.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Like if you want to go and have only label-y stuff,
- 35:38Speaker 1: do it.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Fine.
- 35:39Speaker 1: But do it at the real stores. And if that's
- 35:41Speaker 1: your jam– Other people, it's, you know, redoing their kitchen
- 35:45Speaker 1: every 10 years. Whatever your thing is, that's your thing.
- 35:47Speaker 2: That's your thing.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:48Speaker 2: For sure.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:49Speaker 4: So with Jen Shaw, now you had a situation with
- 35:55Speaker 4: your husband.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 35:57Speaker 1: And explain.
- 35:58Speaker 2: I know.
- 35:59Speaker 1: You explain and then I'm going to ask about it.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Stupid mistake.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Stupid mistake.
- 36:01Speaker 2: So that was absolutely blown out of proportion. What people
- 36:07Speaker 2: don't realize is months and months and months and months
- 36:12Speaker 2: of people coming for you that you know are run
- 36:15Speaker 2: by your castmates, okay, on social media. And so I
- 36:19Speaker 2: was going to bed at night just like sad and
- 36:21Speaker 2: frustrated because I felt like my side of the story
- 36:23Speaker 2: wasn't out there.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And what kind of messages were coming from these unsuspecting?
- 36:27Speaker 2: Well, stuff like, for example, I got one troll that
- 36:31Speaker 2: came and said something that I had only told Lisa. Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Or like, you know, things like that where like you
- 36:36Speaker 2: can't for sure pinpoint it, but you're like, okay. And
- 36:39Speaker 2: I think everybody– people don't realize the stuff that goes
- 36:43Speaker 2: on behind the scenes is really shady.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Real.
- 36:45Speaker 2: And I think it's specifically bad in Salt Lake, quite honestly,
- 36:49Speaker 2: with that cast. And like bloggers will screenshot– if they
- 36:53Speaker 2: want to get on your good site, they'll screenshot DMs
- 36:55Speaker 2: from– Lisa or Jen or whoever saying, say this about
- 37:00Speaker 2: this person. And so everyone's playing that game, right?
- 37:04Speaker 1: I mean, it happens with me.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Constantly.
- 37:06Speaker 1: And I'm like, what the hell? I did not start
- 37:10Speaker 1: Juicy Scoop to be the real housewives of podcasting.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Oh, and I'm sure you did shit.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I don't want it. I don't like it.
- 37:17Speaker 4: I'm a comedian. I want to just cover the things
- 37:19Speaker 4: that I see on the show. And that's kind of
- 37:22Speaker 4: been the bummer for not just me but for what
- 37:25Speaker 4: I was saying. There's so many people now that were
- 37:28Speaker 4: fans that now have an Instagram, a blog, or a
- 37:33Speaker 4: TikTok podcast where they're covering it and they will– DM somebody,
- 37:38Speaker 4: usually the newest person that maybe doesn't have that many people.
- 37:41Speaker 4: And the newest.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Person's so excited to be like- And they don't know
- 37:44Speaker 1: how it works.
- 37:45Speaker 4: Yeah, they're so excited to have this person that's like,
- 37:47Speaker 4: you're the prettiest, you're the best, you're the greatest. So
- 37:49Speaker 4: they start to divulge stuff on DM. And then that
- 37:53Speaker 4: person is really a double agent. And they screen grab it,
- 37:56Speaker 4: and then they go, oh, my God, look at this
- 37:58Speaker 4: snarky thing that Angie said about you.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Of course, yeah. And that person is like, fuck her.
- 38:03Speaker 4: And then either the super fan troll or the star
- 38:09Speaker 4: has other people creating multiple accounts to come after you.
- 38:14Speaker 4: And I've had it in my own thing, and I'm like, look,
- 38:16Speaker 4: I don't think any of my enemies are necessarily buying bots.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Do I think there's some weird people– that want to
- 38:23Speaker 4: insert themselves and they create multiple accounts.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Or they're in cahoots with the person being like, look
- 38:31Speaker 1: at me, look what I did for you, mother. I
- 38:33Speaker 1: wrote these mean things. It's a very weird thing that
- 38:38Speaker 1: I want people to be aware of.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Oh, it's so bad. People have no idea.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Like cleanse yourself.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Get out of it and find something else to do
- 38:48Speaker 4: because it's not healthy.
- 38:49Speaker 2: It's not healthy. And then the thing is we had
- 38:51Speaker 2: enough evidence at that point to know that our castmates–
- 38:55Speaker 2: nobody played the social media warfare game like Lisa and
- 38:58Speaker 2: Jen did. And everybody on the cast knows that. And
- 39:01Speaker 2: Meredith and I both have so many screenshots of like
- 39:04Speaker 2: her giving– bloggers' information. Anyway, I was getting beat up
- 39:10Speaker 2: over something. I can't even remember what it was. I
- 39:12Speaker 2: was in bed crying. The fight or flight mode and
- 39:15Speaker 2: the anxiety you deal with, nobody can understand. I think
- 39:19Speaker 2: I can. Yeah, you probably can.
- 39:22Speaker 1: I think I can.
- 39:22Speaker 2: You talk about this stuff.
- 39:24Speaker 1: And it sucks.
- 39:25Speaker 2: It sucks. So I like I didn't deal with it well.
- 39:28Speaker 2: I was sobbing. And my husband's like the biggest protector ever.
- 39:31Speaker 2: He's my biggest protector. So contractually or I couldn't contractually
- 39:37Speaker 2: and he didn't want to get me in trouble. He
- 39:39Speaker 2: wanted to be like, people don't know what's going on here.
- 39:41Speaker 2: They don't know the real story. So he made one
- 39:44Speaker 2: account and wanted it to look like every other Bravo account.
- 39:47Speaker 2: So it was called Shaw Exposed because there were tons
- 39:49Speaker 2: of Jen Shaw.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Right.
- 39:50Speaker 2: So because he's like, I would have said exactly what
- 39:53Speaker 2: I said to Lisa's face. I'm not afraid of it.
- 39:56Speaker 2: I just don't want to get you in trouble. So
- 39:58Speaker 2: if you read what he said, it's not bullying at all.
- 40:01Speaker 2: It's exactly what happened. But the problem is he did
- 40:04Speaker 2: it under a fake account to protect me when really
- 40:08Speaker 2: it made it 100 times worse for me.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I was so pissed at him. I was like, you
- 40:13Speaker 2: did exactly what I said we will never– I will
- 40:17Speaker 2: never do because all my castmates do it. Right, right.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I'm not going to be that person. He's like, I
- 40:22Speaker 2: felt like I had to defend you. Trust me. I
- 40:24Speaker 2: was trying to do the right thing. But they didn't
- 40:26Speaker 2: show all the backstory. They didn't show all the screenshots
- 40:29Speaker 2: several of us had of, like, cast members doing the
- 40:32Speaker 2: exact same thing. It was just so much easier to get, like,
- 40:35Speaker 2: the husband made the fake account. So that's the story
- 40:37Speaker 2: behind it. And it was stupid. He shouldn't have done it.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I actually think one of the hardest positions for a
- 40:42Speaker 1: man to be in America is to be a real
- 40:44Speaker 1: housewife husband.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Oh. It's ridiculous.
- 40:46Speaker 1: There is nothing good. They're never going to win. Never.
- 40:49Speaker 1: There is nothing good that can come for you. Well,
- 40:52Speaker 1: in my experience— I can't even think of— I used to
- 40:54Speaker 1: think Mauricio.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Was a winner, but not anymore. You just can't come
- 40:59Speaker 2: out on top because they protect the women because they're
- 41:01Speaker 2: invested in the women. Right.
- 41:03Speaker 1: The producers and everything.
- 41:04Speaker 2: So in my experience, you know, Jen Shah— and they knew
- 41:10Speaker 2: everything that was going on was more protected than, like,
- 41:14Speaker 2: stand-up members of the community. You know what I mean? Like,
- 41:17Speaker 2: they knew the stuff she would do behind the scenes.
- 41:21Speaker 2: But they had advanced it in her, so they had
- 41:24Speaker 2: to tell her side of the story and make my
- 41:27Speaker 2: husband look like an idiot.
- 41:28Speaker 1: But until the arrest happened in the Sprinter van, did
- 41:33Speaker 1: any of you guys ever go or hear that the
- 41:38Speaker 1: biz was shade?
- 41:39Speaker 2: I think everybody– I typically did– I don't like to
- 41:43Speaker 2: talk to people about other people's finances, but I think
- 41:47Speaker 2: there was kind of this unspoken it doesn't add up.
- 41:50Speaker 2: You know, it doesn't make sense. But I just thought, OK, well,
- 41:52Speaker 2: maybe Jen's just a hustler in business and she overcompensates
- 41:57Speaker 2: by being really showy. I don't know. Or I know
- 42:01Speaker 2: she had really good friends in the jewelry business. And
- 42:03Speaker 2: I thought, well, maybe she's borrowing a lot of jewelry
- 42:05Speaker 2: for the show. People do that.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Right. Yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 2: And there's nothing wrong with that. And so I sort
- 42:10Speaker 2: of thought it was just one of those things where
- 42:11Speaker 2: she chooses to spend her money on like the outward appearance. Yeah.
- 42:16Speaker 2: So I think it didn't add up, but I didn't
- 42:20Speaker 2: realize how bad it was. So, I mean, I luckily
- 42:24Speaker 2: was never at the time super close to her. So
- 42:27Speaker 2: I didn't really have to have an opinion on it.
- 42:29Speaker 2: I think it was a much harder position for Heather
- 42:31Speaker 2: to be in because then she's just going, oh, shit,
- 42:34Speaker 2: like the person I was vouching for, you know, is
- 42:37Speaker 2: now a criminal.
- 42:39Speaker 4: When we were watching it last season and she had
- 42:41Speaker 4: the black eye and they were kind of playing along
- 42:43Speaker 4: with it, what did you think happened?
- 42:46Speaker 1: And were you talking to her about it? And I
- 42:47Speaker 1: still don't know what happened. She hid it on a cabinet? Like,
- 42:49Speaker 1: do we still even know the story?
- 42:50Speaker 2: That's like the million-dollar question. I will say Heather has
- 42:54Speaker 2: been so tight-lipped on that thing. And even I am–
- 42:58Speaker 2: I would think it's safe to say on the cast
- 43:00Speaker 2: I'm her closest friend.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:02Speaker 2: She wouldn't even tell me. And I believe, this is
- 43:05Speaker 2: all my opinion. No one's ever confirmed this. I think
- 43:08Speaker 2: she got hit. That is not a black eye from
- 43:10Speaker 2: falling down. It's like a perfect punch right in the eye.
- 43:13Speaker 2: You would think like it would hit her cheekbone or
- 43:16Speaker 2: I don't know. I think she got hit and I
- 43:17Speaker 2: think she had to protect somebody, which put her, in
- 43:21Speaker 2: my opinion, in a really shitty position because she couldn't
- 43:25Speaker 2: speak about it. And then it made her look like
- 43:29Speaker 2: she was thirsty trying to come up with a storyline.
- 43:32Speaker 2: I think she was under the pressure of protecting something
- 43:35Speaker 2: or somebody, whether it was Bravo, whether it was a
- 43:38Speaker 2: cast member. I don't know. But I definitely don't think
- 43:42Speaker 2: it was a booty call. I definitely don't. She was
- 43:44Speaker 2: very drunk that night.
- 43:46Speaker 1: What do you mean, a booty call? Some guy came
- 43:48Speaker 1: from San Diego? Well, there was a.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Theory that, like, she got on Bumble and some guy
- 43:51Speaker 2: came and hooked up with her and punched her. Oh, God,
- 43:53Speaker 2: never heard that.
- 43:53Speaker 1: And it was like, get real.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Yeah, get real. Well, at reunion, Andy asked us all,
- 43:57Speaker 2: what do you think happened?
- 43:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:59Speaker 2: And I said, and they cut out, I think they
- 44:01Speaker 2: cut out that part, but I said, I think she
- 44:03Speaker 2: was either drugged or got punched. And that was my opinion.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I think they were blackout wasted, fucking around.
- 44:11Speaker 2: For sure.
- 44:12Speaker 4: And.
- 44:14Speaker 4: And maybe they even got mad and she hit her
- 44:15Speaker 4: or whatever, but they were fine. And she passed out
- 44:20Speaker 4: and not until she woke up in the morning to
- 44:21Speaker 4: pee did she see her eye and then was like,
- 44:27Speaker 4: all right, well, I'm not going to say anything. And
- 44:30Speaker 4: then it was almost like a Vicky with the Brooks
- 44:33Speaker 4: where like, she knows the truth with Brooks with the cancer,
- 44:36Speaker 4: but now is.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Like, it's too late now. It's too late now for
- 44:40Speaker 1: me to go, you guys. Yeah. We were fucking around.
- 44:43Speaker 4: Like now, like now let me just, and maybe even
- 44:46Speaker 4: the producers were like, we kind of like this.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Like we kind of like that. We don't know.
- 44:50Speaker 2: That got played out.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Yeah. I thought she was going to like, tell it like,
- 44:55Speaker 1: in her book or use it more for herself somehow. Like,
- 44:59Speaker 1: here's my expose.
- 45:01Speaker 4: You know, go have Bethany Frankel give her 10 grand
- 45:04Speaker 4: or something and tell her story. I thought there was
- 45:06Speaker 4: going to be something that was going to be a
- 45:07Speaker 4: bigger payoff.
- 45:08Speaker 2: I mean, I'm telling you, the energy around it was,
- 45:12Speaker 2: I felt like she wanted to tell me, but she couldn't. Like,
- 45:16Speaker 2: someone got to her, made her sign something. This is
- 45:19Speaker 2: all my guess.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Yes.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Because of the energy around it. It was tangible. It
- 45:23Speaker 2: was like, I want to speak up. I feel like
- 45:25Speaker 2: I'm getting screwed over because I can't talk about it.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Right.
- 45:28Speaker 2: But I can't.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Because I don't know if it's I could get sued.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 45:34Speaker 2: The energy wasn't normal. It wasn't conducive to she partied
- 45:38Speaker 2: too much. Because I told her, I'm like, if you
- 45:39Speaker 2: party too much, who cares? We've all been there.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Right.
- 45:42Speaker 2: And you woke up with a black eye. Shit happens
- 45:44Speaker 2: when you party. It was more like frustration and secrecy.
- 45:50Speaker 1: And the other part was.
- 45:52Speaker 4: The other thing I thought could be kind of interesting
- 45:55Speaker 4: is if she made a deal with production in that
- 45:57Speaker 4: she got hurt at the Airbnb or whatever property they rented.
- 46:02Speaker 4: And therefore there could be a financial lawsuit or something
- 46:07Speaker 4: involved in her being that drunk, also being a cast member,
- 46:12Speaker 4: which is what we're hearing about now with people being
- 46:14Speaker 4: really kind of being like, are these people getting too
- 46:16Speaker 4: drunk on these shows?
- 46:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Production going home, leaving them that wasted, and then her
- 46:24Speaker 4: hitting something in the Airbnb or wherever they rented that
- 46:28Speaker 4: might have been a safety hazard that production didn't go
- 46:31Speaker 4: through and.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Do like a sweep of making sure it was like safe.
- 46:34Speaker 2: No, that's actually a great guess because I think it
- 46:39Speaker 2: felt like there was something legal involved. That's my opinion.
- 46:42Speaker 2: I have no idea. But that's what it felt like.
- 46:45Speaker 2: So you're probably not wrong there. Whether she got hit
- 46:47Speaker 2: or hurt.
- 46:48Speaker 4: I'm going to go back and I'm going to say
- 46:49Speaker 4: that's what I think it is. And I don't think
- 46:52Speaker 4: that Jen hit her.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 46:55Speaker 4: Because if Jen did hit her, she's in jail for
- 46:57Speaker 4: nine years or six years or whatever it is.
- 47:01Speaker 1: And Heather's not visiting her. Tell it.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Who cares now? It's not like that is going to
- 47:07Speaker 1: make a difference in her doing time.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Yeah, she's already paying for her time. Well, and the
- 47:12Speaker 2: thing that made me feel so bad for her as
- 47:13Speaker 2: her friend is she got so much shit for that,
- 47:16Speaker 2: for not talking about it. And you could tell she couldn't.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:20Speaker 2: And so I just felt really bad for her because
- 47:23Speaker 2: of that. So, yeah.
- 47:25Speaker 4: And then you, when she was getting her choir together,
- 47:29Speaker 4: which seems to have, you know, not had a lot
- 47:31Speaker 4: of momentum since, but she is a little busy. That's
- 47:36Speaker 4: when you and Whitney did the dance routine or whatever?
- 47:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I told you I'm like begging to perform. I'm like,
- 47:42Speaker 2: anybody want to see me perform? I used to like
- 47:45Speaker 2: when my mom's friends would come over, I'd bring out
- 47:47Speaker 2: my pointe shoes and like warm up in the kitchen.
- 47:50Speaker 2: So people would be like, oh, what are you doing?
- 47:53Speaker 2: Show us more.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Oh, nothing.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Just a ballet routine. Okay, fine.
- 47:57Speaker 4: My sister and I, depending on whoever wants to do it,
- 48:01Speaker 4: when my parents would have people over for martinis or whatever, They'd.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Be like, little girls. And then my sister and I
- 48:07Speaker 1: would come down and we'd have to sing Annie, songs
- 48:09Speaker 1: from Annie.
- 48:10Speaker 2: And you probably loved every minute of it, right?
- 48:12Speaker 1: Yeah. The sun will come out tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar. Yeah.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Look at me hitting it with you.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you have a better voice than I do. Anyway,
- 48:23Speaker 1: I got you, girl. I got you, girl. Listen, if
- 48:27Speaker 1: I hadn't pursued... I've said this before because I'm like
- 48:32Speaker 1: there's times in my life where I'm like I didn't
- 48:35Speaker 1: pursue like marrying the rich guy that you meet in
- 48:37Speaker 1: college more.
- 48:38Speaker 4: Like that just didn't occur to me.
- 48:41Speaker 1: No. And I'm like what if I had married this
- 48:44Speaker 1: rich guy that liked me and I just threw away
- 48:46Speaker 1: my aspirations of being a comedian or whatever to be
- 48:49Speaker 1: the rich lady. I would probably be on a housewife show.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Would you prefer that road though?
- 48:56Speaker 1: No, I would not have preferred it. But I'm saying
- 48:58Speaker 1: I probably– like if we were to do a movie
- 49:00Speaker 1: of my life, Sliding Doors.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:02Speaker 1: And it was like, okay, go with this guy and
- 49:05Speaker 1: like give up and just live in this beautiful house
- 49:07Speaker 1: where each door weighs a thousand pounds and like live
- 49:10Speaker 1: this life.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:11Speaker 4: But I know that person would never put up with
- 49:13Speaker 4: me going to growlings, doing standup.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Living this life. I, you know, the parents wouldn't like it, whatever.
- 49:19Speaker 4: Then I think I would have done whatever it took
- 49:23Speaker 4: to go be a housewife because I would still have
- 49:26Speaker 4: wanted that aspiration, but I just chose not to pursue it.
- 49:28Speaker 4: That's why I'm not, that's why I'm intrigued by who
- 49:31Speaker 4: they cast and why I don't think it's like, Oh,
- 49:34Speaker 4: you thirsty bitch. Because I think we're, I think anyone
- 49:36Speaker 4: with an Instagram account with more than a hundred friends
- 49:38Speaker 4: is is thirsty.
- 49:40Speaker 1: So we're all thirsty. We come from a thirsty generation.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I definitely got a healthy amount of thirst. I think
- 49:43Speaker 2: I posted a swimsuit picture the other day.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Part of it is we didn't grow up drinking a
- 49:47Speaker 1: lot of water. Think about it.
- 49:48Speaker 2: I love it.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Think about how all our kids drink so much water.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Do you ever remember drinking.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Water in school?
- 49:55Speaker 3: No.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Was water even allowed? There were drinking fountains. But now
- 49:58Speaker 2: you bring a canteen with you.
- 50:00Speaker 4: And when you're in the drinking fountain, which was disgusting,
- 50:02Speaker 4: people would be like, go, finish, have a sip.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I probably grew up in full dehydration my whole life.
- 50:08Speaker 2: I wouldn't have been surprised. I can't even remember what
- 50:12Speaker 2: you were asking me. Okay, so you would have been
- 50:13Speaker 2: the rich lady who'd done housewives. And I would have
- 50:16Speaker 2: been here to say don't do it.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Yes.
- 50:18Speaker 2: In my experience, don't do housewives.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Let's talk a little bit about. Okay, so you've worked
- 50:23Speaker 1: it out. It got exposed. Your husband admitted it.
- 50:25Speaker 2: He admitted it.
- 50:25Speaker 1: And that's the thing. It was embarrassing and whatever and
- 50:27Speaker 1: who cares.
- 50:27Speaker 2: The funny thing is it was embarrassing. He owned it.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:29Speaker 2: But the other cast members would not own and we
- 50:32Speaker 2: had proof and they would deny, deny, deny, deny and
- 50:35Speaker 2: all that got cut out.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and they were all guilty of it. Whatever.
- 50:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:37Speaker 2: It was stupid.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Okay, so then you finished season three. We're in season
- 50:42Speaker 1: four now.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Yeah, so kudos to Bravo. They actually did ask me
- 50:47Speaker 2: to come back. I'm not one of those people that's like, oh,
- 50:49Speaker 2: I chose to leave but really never got the phone call.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:52Speaker 2: And they were willing to– my son was diagnosed with autism,
- 50:57Speaker 2: my four-year-old, and they were willing to talk about that.
- 50:59Speaker 2: But in my experience, what happened with me, I didn't
- 51:02Speaker 2: think they handled my situation fairly at all. I didn't
- 51:05Speaker 2: mind that they talked about what happened with Chris. What
- 51:08Speaker 2: I minded was that they protected people who didn't deserve
- 51:10Speaker 2: protection and didn't tell a full story. So I wasn't–
- 51:15Speaker 2: I just– I thought about it. Initially, I was like–
- 51:19Speaker 2: You know, wrestling with the idea of, oh, maybe I
- 51:21Speaker 2: go back. It would be a great platform like it
- 51:22Speaker 2: was for the transgender thing to talk about autism. And
- 51:25Speaker 2: then I just kind of was like, you know, yeah, no.
- 51:29Speaker 2: It's too sacred.
- 51:31Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know why anybody would go on
- 51:34Speaker 1: it now.
- 51:35Speaker 2: I really don't. It's not what it used to be, right?
- 51:37Speaker 1: Look, I watch it and I enjoy it.
- 51:40Speaker 2: I know. I don't watch it anymore. PTSD.
- 51:44Speaker 1: So it is hard for you to watch. I can
- 51:45Speaker 1: see that.
- 51:46Speaker 4: It's like when I'm not friends with somebody anymore, I
- 51:48Speaker 4: can't follow them on Instagram. I don't want to see
- 51:51Speaker 4: it because it gives you like a pang of like
- 51:52Speaker 4: what used to be or if that person hurt you.
- 51:55Speaker 4: So I don't blame anybody that is no longer on it,
- 51:58Speaker 4: whether they're on a pause or not. to not watch it,
- 52:01Speaker 4: not follow their friends.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Because that is the healthy choice to do.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Well, and it's not even that I watch it and
- 52:06Speaker 2: I angst for it. It's like I will watch it
- 52:10Speaker 2: and having gone through the process kind of ruined it
- 52:12Speaker 2: for me. You know what I mean? Like, it's just
- 52:14Speaker 2: kind of like, I just, I don't relate to it anymore.
- 52:17Speaker 1: When you were considering coming back, what was your husband's attitude?
- 52:24Speaker 2: Surprisingly, he was like, look, I don't see the payoff.
- 52:27Speaker 2: This has done nothing for you. But if you want
- 52:31Speaker 2: to do it, do it. I mean, if I told
- 52:32Speaker 2: my husband I wanted to run for the president of
- 52:34Speaker 2: the United States, he'd be like, OK, let's get you
- 52:37Speaker 2: a campaign manager. Let's go. What does your husband do
- 52:40Speaker 2: for a living? He's in tech.
- 52:42Speaker 3: OK.
- 52:42Speaker 2: And fortunately, he's had a lot of success. So I
- 52:46Speaker 2: do have the flexibility.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Financially.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Financially to choose.
- 52:51Speaker 1: You're not doing it for a paycheck. Right.
- 52:53Speaker 2: And so I do. I say that only because I
- 52:55Speaker 2: sympathize with the women who. need the paycheck. And quite frankly,
- 53:01Speaker 2: when you go on that show, you are risking your reputation.
- 53:03Speaker 2: You're risking potential future jobs. Some people love it. Some
- 53:07Speaker 2: people don't want to be attached to a reality TV
- 53:10Speaker 2: star or a housewife. So you risk your marriage.
- 53:14Speaker 1: And your kids.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Yeah, you risk your children. And my children were not
- 53:18Speaker 2: into it at all. Even my teenagers, they were just
- 53:21Speaker 2: like when I was wrestling with the idea. So you have.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Two kids from your previous marriage?
- 53:26Speaker 2: So I have two kids from my previous marriage and
- 53:28Speaker 2: we're still close with my ex. They are 18 and 16.
- 53:32Speaker 2: They both play football and they are so laser focused
- 53:36Speaker 2: on that, that like if the cameras were not, and look,
- 53:38Speaker 2: I was a part-time cast member, so they didn't necessarily
- 53:41Speaker 2: have to feature my children, but they wanted to and
- 53:44Speaker 2: were willing to. And like the cameras would come and
- 53:47Speaker 2: both my boys would like run upstairs and shut their doors.
- 53:51Speaker 2: They were not interested.
- 53:53Speaker 1: So I have two boys.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 53:55Speaker 1: And there were opportunities where I had just one opportunity
- 54:00Speaker 1: major that was like this company was like we want
- 54:03Speaker 1: to have you be like the next Chrisley Knows Best
- 54:05Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Oh, cute.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Well, it didn't go anywhere. But anyway, they filmed. I
- 54:09Speaker 1: didn't have to put any money. They came. We pitched it.
- 54:11Speaker 1: We did a pilot. And I was like, great.
- 54:14Speaker 4: And this is before my podcast was successful and I
- 54:16Speaker 4: was no longer on Chelsea Lately.
- 54:18Speaker 1: So I was like, okay, this could be the next thing.
- 54:23Speaker 4: And my boys were always so didn't care, you know,
- 54:26Speaker 4: if I filmed them or did something and they were
- 54:27Speaker 4: always like down for whatever.
- 54:30Speaker 1: But it wasn't a lot.
- 54:31Speaker 4: And so we did the days of shootings to get
- 54:35Speaker 4: the pilot together and then nobody wanted it or the
- 54:37Speaker 4: reel or whatever that was the sizzle reel. And not
- 54:41Speaker 4: until recently did my 20 year old tell me that
- 54:46Speaker 4: he had said in his brain if that show got
- 54:48Speaker 4: picked up he was like not going to participate.
- 54:53Speaker 2: You're like that would have been a little too late dude.
- 54:56Speaker 1: And I thought about it and I was like you
- 54:58Speaker 1: know what?
- 54:59Speaker 4: We're so close, my boys and I. And I enjoy
- 55:03Speaker 4: them so much. And they help me with this business,
- 55:05Speaker 4: both of them. And they do whatever I ask.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Them to do.
- 55:08Speaker 1: And we have so much fun.
- 55:09Speaker 4: And it's like, you probably feel this way with your boys.
- 55:12Speaker 4: Like my son surprised me this weekend to come home
- 55:15Speaker 4: and they were just going to play golf. And I'm like,
- 55:19Speaker 4: I want to just go have breakfast with you before
- 55:21Speaker 4: the golf. And I want Drake to drive my car.
- 55:23Speaker 4: I just want those 15 minutes.
- 55:25Speaker 1: And like, I try to explain it when I go,
- 55:26Speaker 1: you're my like Taylor Swift. Like you're a rock star
- 55:29Speaker 1: to me.
- 55:29Speaker 4: Like you don't understand like what it is when you're
- 55:33Speaker 4: just so excited. And to think that I could have
- 55:36Speaker 4: had that gone and had at the most vulnerable time
- 55:40Speaker 4: of his age, of growing up.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Be so resentful.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Jeopardize that for sure.
- 55:46Speaker 4: But also be in a place where he couldn't, Where
- 55:48Speaker 4: he chose not to tell me because.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Kids don't share stuff.
- 55:51Speaker 2: They don't know how to communicate.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Because their brains are not even half developed. Right.
- 55:55Speaker 4: And so then you're putting them in a position to
- 55:58Speaker 4: then be on camera and say personal stuff.
- 56:01Speaker 1: And we need to just get this shot. We've got
- 56:03Speaker 1: to do the thing, you know.
- 56:04Speaker 2: They would have hated it.
- 56:05Speaker 1: And I feel like more and more people have to
- 56:07Speaker 1: realize whether they're doing their own. I talk a lot
- 56:09Speaker 1: about it on the show. Whether they're doing their own
- 56:11Speaker 1: TikToks or whatever. That it's really... Your kids can't be
- 56:15Speaker 1: your content.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Unless they want it.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Unless they want it.
- 56:19Speaker 2: And some kids do. And some kids do.
- 56:21Speaker 1: And some kids want to. And they're little actors. They
- 56:24Speaker 1: want to be on the show.
- 56:25Speaker 4: And they want to be sassy. Like Emily's daughter on OC. Obviously,
- 56:29Speaker 4: she really likes it.
- 56:30Speaker 1: She wants to be.
- 56:31Speaker 2: She's great at it.
- 56:32Speaker 1: And actually, she wants to do it. Like, that's all good.
- 56:34Speaker 4: Right.
- 56:34Speaker 1: You know?
- 56:35Speaker 2: But.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:36Speaker 2: But I mean, I'm totally with you on that. And
- 56:39Speaker 2: that was the biggest factor in season four was just like,
- 56:43Speaker 2: my kids don't want to do it. I'm not going
- 56:46Speaker 2: to be a friend of forever. Like that probably would
- 56:48Speaker 2: have been the year I would have been a would
- 56:50Speaker 2: have been a full time housewife. At least that's what
- 56:52Speaker 2: they were communicate. That's what they wanted for me. And
- 56:55Speaker 2: so I just felt like my husband was like, I
- 56:59Speaker 2: don't think it's good, but you do what you want
- 57:01Speaker 2: to do. And then I just felt like, It's just
- 57:05Speaker 2: I did not want to compromise that relationship with my kids.
- 57:09Speaker 2: And in the sports world, it wouldn't have been a
- 57:11Speaker 2: good thing, I don't believe.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Were you a fan of The Housewives? Did you watch
- 57:16Speaker 1: other films?
- 57:16Speaker 2: I watched it, yeah.
- 57:16Speaker 1: So did you watch the old OC ones?
- 57:20Speaker 2: I started a few years in, like probably season three.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Like what are you referring to?
- 57:25Speaker 4: One of the most– Like, I've talked about this scene.
- 57:28Speaker 4: It is exactly why you did the right thing.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Okay, what is it?
- 57:32Speaker 1: Okay, so Gina Kino.
- 57:34Speaker 2: I don't know her, so I didn't watch it.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Okay, Real House F.O.C., first two seasons. She has three kids,
- 57:41Speaker 4: and one of them wants to be professional baseball, whatever.
- 57:45Speaker 4: I think he went to, like, minor leagues.
- 57:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:48Speaker 1: And she shows up with Vicki Gullison. I always say
- 57:51Speaker 1: her name wrong. Gullison? Gullison.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Vicki.
- 57:53Speaker 1: I'll just call her Vicki.
- 57:55Speaker 4: And with cameras while he's playing. And all on camera,
- 58:00Speaker 4: he is like so mad at her.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Because he's in the middle of a game? Yeah. Oh,
- 58:06Speaker 2: my kids would die.
- 58:06Speaker 4: And he goes, I want to take this baseball. He goes,
- 58:08Speaker 4: I want to take this bat and hit you in
- 58:09Speaker 4: the head with it. He says it and they keep
- 58:11Speaker 4: it in the show.
- 58:11Speaker 2: And then it makes him look like an idiot.
- 58:13Speaker 1: He looks so awful.
- 58:15Speaker 4: And I'm watching it. when my kid is like seven.
- 58:17Speaker 4: And I'm thinking he is the worst kid ever and
- 58:20Speaker 4: I better make sure my kid is never that poorly behaved.
- 58:23Speaker 1: A couple years ago, I meet her and I ask
- 58:26Speaker 1: her about it.
- 58:28Speaker 4: And she said both the boys suffered so much. And
- 58:33Speaker 4: now they're fine, all the kids are fine. But she
- 58:36Speaker 4: said he didn't know we were showing up with cameras.
- 58:39Speaker 4: And the producers convinced me and I didn't think about,
- 58:42Speaker 4: not only, sometimes your kids don't even want you at
- 58:44Speaker 4: a game.
- 58:45Speaker 1: No.
- 58:45Speaker 4: Or when I would go to see my kid play
- 58:47Speaker 4: like his little golf game whenever, it's a bummer because
- 58:50Speaker 4: you can't cheer like you can in a football game.
- 58:52Speaker 1: You have to be quiet.
- 58:52Speaker 2: No, they're already so embarrassed. I know.
- 58:54Speaker 1: I went to my son and said that he goes,
- 58:55Speaker 1: dad ruined it for me. I go, what do you mean?
- 58:57Speaker 1: He goes, I'm playing golf. And all of a sudden,
- 58:59Speaker 1: I see this, his body go behind a tree like looking.
- 59:04Speaker 2: And he goes, oh my God, creeper.
- 59:05Speaker 4: So I'm like, it's already bad enough that we just
- 59:08Speaker 4: want to watch.
- 59:09Speaker 3: Yes.
- 59:10Speaker 4: Have cameras come and then have it live on for
- 59:12Speaker 4: infamy in 150 countries on.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Peacock, on Hey You, on whatever.
- 59:19Speaker 4: And to still think like you associate him with being
- 59:23Speaker 4: like a shit of a son when it wasn't the case.
- 59:26Speaker 2: It's like, think how many times our kids say something
- 59:28Speaker 2: so shitty to us. And they act, I don't know
- 59:30Speaker 2: about you, but like they act allergic to you almost.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Like everything you say is obnoxious. And I try to tell,
- 59:36Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm a cool mom, but no matter what,
- 59:39Speaker 2: I'm still their mom, you know? So I think it's
- 59:41Speaker 2: one of those things like, God forbid they say the
- 59:44Speaker 2: wrong thing because teenagers do all the damn time. And
- 59:47Speaker 2: then they're trying to get a job in finance one
- 59:49Speaker 2: day or trying to go to an Ivy League school. Like,
- 59:52Speaker 2: I just don't want anything like that being held against them.
- 59:55Speaker 4: And then think about if they have their own, you know, Instagram.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: And everybody's like, you're an awful person. I can't believe
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: you said that. Or what about the fact that, like,
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: someone showed something of Ramona's daughter when she was, like, 10. Right.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: And it's, like, one of the first episodes. And the
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: mom goes to– is, like, getting drunk. Ramona's getting drunk
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: because she kisses her friend on the lips.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: And little Avery is like, ew, mom, you're a lesbian.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: And everyone's like, Avery is homophobic. Well, now, come on.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: She's 10.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: And this is 12, 13 years ago. That stuff sticks.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: And people spoke differently then and like.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: And now with council culture. And she's a little kid.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Like, what the hell? Like.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I mean, well, and like when your kids are young,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: sometimes they'll say something where you go, that could be
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: considered racist. But I get that you don't understand it is.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Because you're a little kid.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: You're a little kid. But then they like won't get
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: a job one day. You know, it's just not something
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: I was willing to touch or risk. Now, if people's
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: children are OK with it, fine, do it. But I know,
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: for example, like Meredith, two of her kids are OK
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: with it. One's not. He doesn't do the show, you know.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: And so I just think you have to really communicate
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: with your family. And I do feel bad for the
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: kids that you can tell hate it. And they're there
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: kind of for their mom, you know? And it's funny,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: like when I was interviewing, the casting director interviewed my
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: family and I was listening and my son's like, she's like,
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: so what do you think about your mom being on TV?
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: He's like, he sits there, he goes, honestly, I don't care.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I'm like, you're ruining this for me, son. They still
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: cast me shockingly.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Right, and that's the other thing. He was so not
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: into it.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: But also that's the other thing that, you know, you've
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: done the right thing, but what about the mom being,
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: That is like it's because of you losers I didn't
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: get picked.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Oh, totally. And then a kid later on feels guilty like, you.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Know, my mom's so sad.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: Her dream was to be a housewife and I wasn't
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: cool enough to.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Or I wasn't outgoing enough. I just don't think it
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: should ever be.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: Even when I just talked about recently because I did
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: have an agent when I was a little kid because
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: we grew up out here.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: And I talked about how.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: And it was the first time I realized that I
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: felt so badly when I'd be like dancing around at
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: home and doing impressions. And my mom would be like,
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: why can't you be like that when I drive you
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: all the way to Hollywood? Because I was such a
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: dud and I wasn't booking anything. And I remember in
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: that moment thinking, I'm really wasting my mom's time. I'm
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: really wasting my mom's time, gas and you know.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: You should go kick rocks.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: And I'm like, and no kid should be responsible for For.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: Their parents' livelihood or their happiness or anything like that.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: They have to all be on board. And just to
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: wrap this up, my son said to me when I
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: was contemplating, he just said, Mom, like even though there
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: was no drama with my children, they weren't even on
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: the show, the level of consumption that show requires and
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: how much it takes over your mind, it just brings
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: attention into the home because you're constantly frustrated. You're constantly
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: in like fight or flight mode. And I personally couldn't
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: be the parent that I could be when I wasn't
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: on the show. I just like my kids. He was like, Mom,
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: I feel like you're here, but you're always on the
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: phone or you're always frustrated. I was snappier. And so
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: even if it's not affecting your kids personally, like what
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: they say or do on the show, as a mother,
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: it was affecting my children. So that's another thing people
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: should consider. And again, maybe some of the women have
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: that balance down. I'm not saying they don't. No judgment there.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: For me, it didn't work. So.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: So you're not watching it this season.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: I'm not, but I do for Heather sometimes. Like if
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: she wants my feedback on something, I'll watch a little bit.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: I just like, I just.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: What?
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: So this new girl, she was a little bit.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Monica. She's been in my house.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Oh, well, let's talk about Monica first.
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: So, you know, Monica. Yeah.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Ish. I met her once. She came to my house
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: for a baby shower for Sarah Jane, who was cast
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: with me season two.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: She was a brunette, right?
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: No, Sarah Jane was a blonde, and she didn't even
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: get— she got cut immediately.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Why did she get cut so much?
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: So they loved her personality. She's got an amazing personality.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: She's active LDS. She was the only cast member, I believe,
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: at the time that was Mormon, because I'm no longer Mormon.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Oh, actively Mormon. Oh, and you were raised Mormon. Okay.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: I was raised Mormon, but I'm not anymore. But she
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: was active LDS and they wanted her to argue with
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Heather because she and Heather were friends. And she's like,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: I'm Christian. I'm not willing to fight about my religion.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Like that goes against everything. And they were just like,
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: you're a waste of time. I think they told her
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: she was a disappointment. Like they were brutal with her.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: So anyway, I was throwing a baby shower for her
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: and Monica came and Heather was there as well. I
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: didn't know what was going on with filming at the
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: time because I'm out of the loop. And I didn't
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: sense tension, but they weren't talking. And I was like, oh, shit,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: something must be going down here. I don't know. I'm
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: not caught up on the show. But my guess is
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: they don't get along great, but maybe they do. How
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: are they on the.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Show right now? Monica and who? Heather. Right now I
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: think they're kind of okay.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: It wasn't bad.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: She is kind of like. You know, dropping the rumors.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: The rumors via Jen.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I did hear that.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: So the rumors. What are the rumors?
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: So Meredith, I guess, you know, doesn't like this girl, Angie.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Angie Kay.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Angie Kay, the brunette.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true, I would imagine. And I honestly don't.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Know why they don't like each other. I can't remember why,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: but there's a reason.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Probably because when Angie first came on, she came on strong.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: I think what had happened, and Angie and I are fine.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: If I see her, I'll give her a hug, whatever.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: I think what had happened is Angie had auditioned several
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: times for the show. And in my experience, I think
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: when she came on season three, she was just coming
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: as like Lisa's guest, Jen's guest. She wasn't cast. And
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: so she would immediately start going for people to get
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: that camera time, in my opinion.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: I can't speak on her behalf. I think it appears
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: like that. I think it was pretty obvious.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: I think it appears obvious now.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: To be fair to her, she would say, no, I
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: was defending my friend, right? But I think she came
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: on doing everything Lisa probably didn't want to do. Come
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: for me. Come for Heather. Come for Meredith. And I
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: think that's why they have a problem. That's my guess.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Because I think in real life, show aside, they would
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: probably get along.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: So, well, then Meredith, I guess, doesn't like her for
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: those reasons. Didn't want her to come on the Palm
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Springs weekend, but Whitney brought her. And probably because the
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: producers were like, I heard about this.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Yeah. And then, you know, and then Meredith is like,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: you can leave. I saw that clip. You can leave.
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: And then she says to Lisa, she's like, do you
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: want me to talk to her and tell her all.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: The rumors about the husband? And so then Monica goes.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: I love Meredith's mannerisms so much.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: Then Monica goes, I know the rumor. And Whitney's like,
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: don't say it. Don't say it on camera. Don't say it.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Did she say it?
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: She said it.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Monica, not Meredith?
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: No, Monica says it. And Monica goes, the rumor is
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: that her.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Husband sleeps with men. And she said it harsher than that.
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: And Whitney's like, so then Whitney goes, right away we
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: have to go tell Angie.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Yeah, which is the right thing to do.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Because now it's out on camera and like whatever.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: People don't realize the minute you say it on camera,
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: it's over. Like game over. It's out there.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: But now you got to address it right.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: And you're, yeah.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: And- So then she– which I think was the ethical
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: thing to do because she could have not. And they
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: could have all talked about it. And she was like,
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: I'm going to give her a chance to nip it
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: in the bud or whatever.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: You know? So she goes and tells her and she's like, what?
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: And then Monica's like, yeah, Meredith started it.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Then she goes after Meredith to say it.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: That's interesting because I don't think Meredith would have ever
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: told Monica that. But maybe they did talk.
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: I think that it's been one of those things that
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: goes around. And I guess because she's married to a
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: male hairdresser.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Yeah. which is typically a most male hairdressers are not straight. Right.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: But she's like, we've been together 25 years or whatever,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: and we have a daughter.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: And then, you know, he goes on Watch Robbins Live.
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: He's sitting in the audience and he's like, you know,
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: I have so many gay friends. I don't like that,
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: you know, it's being thrown around like a negative thing.
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: But what's negative about it is that that would mean
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: I wasn't being faithful to my wife, regardless whether it's
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: a woman or a man.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: It's just not true. Yeah. But he was crying and everything.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: So sad.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: But I'm like, I don't know. I wonder if you're.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: Going to go on this show and you're hurt, I
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: hope that she would have already had the conversation with him.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: I would imagine. This is probably going to come up
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: because we've heard it before.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: I think everybody, if they're smart, sits down with their
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: partner and says, what's going to come out? And you
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: have to assume, and I felt like I was very
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: aware going into it, Yeah. Anything I've done will come
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: out and you have to be OK with that, you know.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: And luckily, I've got a pretty clean slate. I had
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: some like a skeleton or two from my past and
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: I was like, if it comes out, I'll address it. Now,
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: if you're somebody else who's dealing with like fraud and
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: sleeping with men. If you, again, that's fine. But if
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: you don't want that out there, why are you doing
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: the show? That's what I don't understand because I think
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: people still to this day think it won't come out.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: It won't come out.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: It won't.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: It will always come out.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: I do think, I do think though it, what sucks
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: now with the shows and it happened on New Jersey
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: too is, you know, Teresa out in New Jersey said, Oh,
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: haven't you heard.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: The rumor about, uh, What's her name? Jennifer or Jackie.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Jackie's husband, you know, gets with people at the gym,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: which could mean men or women, being that it's a gym.
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: And she just throws it out there and she's like, what?
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: It's just a rumor. I didn't say it was true.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: I'm just telling you I heard a rumor.
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: And I'm like, I think there should be, like, a lot, Bravo,
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: that it can't– the storylines cannot be driven– by rumors.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: There has to be a lot to it.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: There has to be a guy saying, if there was
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: a guy that slept with this girl, then if you're
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: gonna manipulate the situation, that's fine. But have that guy
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: be willing to talk and have him Start doing someone's
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: hair on the cast in which they're filming. And him saying,
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: it's my boyfriend.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: It's not fair.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: There should be like more to it. I agree. Than
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: just this. I agree.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: And in my very brief experience, two seasons, I will
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: say if there's typically a lot of smoke behind something
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: before they make it an actual storyline. They don't like
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: the word storyline, but you know what I'm saying. It's
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: usually because people can throw out anything and they typically
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: don't pick it up unless there's. some basis to it
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: but I'm sure it does happen all the time where
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: it is just total BS so I don't know I
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: didn't know Angie or Sean before so I had never
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: heard that but I do know people on the cast
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: had heard that quite a bit and I have no
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: idea if it's true and if it's just because he's
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: a hairdresser that could be considered homophobic but to be
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: fair yeah you're right a lot of hairdressers are gay
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: But I mean I also just think it's a rumor
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: that goes a lot with with um you know, the
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: Mormon community just because they are forced to be straight,
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: you know, or not forced, but like it's not accepted
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: to be gay and also get married young and.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: All of that.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: We get married young before we know who we are.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Yeah. And a lot of ex-Mormons have come out as
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: gay because they didn't get to explore what they really felt.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: And it's unfortunate because it's like 20 years down the
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: line and then like you have kids and a wife
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: and Now you're getting divorced, and it sucks that they
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: didn't have that moment to explore that. That's where intense
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: religious communities can be dangerous, in my opinion.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, totally.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I like Whitney. I like that she's honest about it.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: How she and her husband got together.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: She owns it. And you have to. I think they're
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: a fun couple.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Enough people knew about that story. She had to
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: just like own it the minute she got on TV.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: And I think that's the right approach. Same with Monica
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: and sleeping with the brother-in-law.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Because I had heard that and I didn't even know Monica.
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: Now, the only thing I said that I think no
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: one thinks about with Monica. She has every right to
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: make– it seems like she does need this job.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Yes. It seems like she's not rolling in it.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: She's very– But the only thing I thought about where
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: it sucks is whoever the brother-in-law is married to.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: Like maybe that was something that she forgave her husband
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: for and was like, they're getting divorced. But like you
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: and I, let's just get the fuck away from my
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: brother and his ex-wife. And you and I are going
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: to live on this mountain in Utah and raise our kids.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Someone, you know, is like, you know, your ex-sister-in-law that
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: slept with your husband four years ago.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Is talking all about it.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: And now the blogs are probably trying to figure out
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: who he is.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: And posting his picture.
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: Yeah, and finding that woman that's just like, hey, how
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: many women that her husband had an.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Affair but they chose to stay with him?
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: And you know what I mean?
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: And so it's like... It's just so.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: People don't realize, like, how irresponsible your truth can still be.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: You know? Like, I was close to Whitney.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: That's a great line.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: That's actually a really interesting line, how irresponsible your own
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: truth can be.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Because I was really close to Whitney, and we're fine now. But, like,
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: that whole jazz game thing when she and Heather were drunk,
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: and she made these claims that Heather and I were
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: accusing Lisa of. BJ's for jazz games, right?
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: For tickets to the games, right?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Not true at all. A conversation that was solicited by
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: her down the road saying, do you think this could
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: happen or has happened? And I'm just like, there are
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: certain people on the cast that become a liability because
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: they don't know how to say it or not to
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: say it.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: And that conversation, so you're talking with Heather and Whitney.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: Never the jazz games. Never happened at a jazz game.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: You're just out. Cameras are not there.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: Cameras are not there. You're just chatting as three girls.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: I invited them as my guests. And that's the things
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: I did.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: As your guests to the jazz game?
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: They were my guests on New Year's Eve. Heather and
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: I were in the front row. She was in the
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: second row. Maybe she was mad about that.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Whitney?
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: Because it was me, my husband, me, Heather, and our
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: oldest daughter.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: And then right behind us were Whitney and Justin. And
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: she kept leaning in to hear what we were saying.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: So it makes sense she would have got anything we
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: would have said wrong. Plus, I would never be talking
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: shit on the front row. People can hear you everywhere, right?
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Right, yeah.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: So later on, she called me. What she was trying
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: to say in the drunken mess was, hey, do you
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: think Lisa's ever hooked up with this guy who we
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: had pointed out at the jazz game, but not in
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: that context?
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: And he is someone who would be able to give
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: you tickets? I don't want to say who he is.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: I mean, he's never given me tickets. I barely know
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: the guy. I don't talk about the guy.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: So he's not an owner.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: He's just somebody that has access to tickets.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: No, no, but he's someone who has access to tickets, who's.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Rich, and Lisa's friends with him.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: So Whitney said, do you think anything's happened there I
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: said I don't know but I always wondered something like
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: that and that was it and that turned into blowjobs
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: for jazz tickets simply because he was there we were
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: there and his name had come up but not in
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: that context at all and so it just turned into
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: this nightmare Well, the good news.
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: Is, is that I am honest about that I'm not
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: great at a blowjob. And I, so I still think
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: that rumor will ever happen about me.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: How many blowjobs have you given outside of your, have
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: you only given a blowjob to your husband?
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Basically, I think there was maybe one other person.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Like a half?
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: I was a virgin until I was 27.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: And so, yeah. That's hilarious. So I always say, I
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: don't think I have a lot of experience. I don't
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: think I'm great.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: You're not great. I feel like there's articles out there.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I'm okay.
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: Yeah, and I think that there's probably, so I'm like,
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: And quite honestly, I have a very small mouth.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: I think girls that are better.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Have a wider jaw.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: No, because think about this. Think of vaginas. The smaller
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: the vagina, the better the sex. So let's reframe that.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Put it out there that you give a great blowjob.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Okay. Let's rewrite history. You know, stop changing the narrative. No, anyway. Yeah,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I mean, that was another thing. thing that was like.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: In that moment, I realized Whitney's a liability to me.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: And she's not going to like that I said that,
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: but that's the reality. Like, I like her well enough,
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: but I can't have her around me because... But also,
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: I just think like... It wasn't, yeah.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: People that are wealthy, that are friendly, and Lisa is a....
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: A pretty woman, but she's also on TV and stuff.
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: And I'll tell you, as someone who has a little
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: bit of fame, people sometimes want to.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Be your friend.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Of course.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: And they want to give you tickets. Yes.
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: And you don't have to blow anyone to have somebody
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: throw you a favor.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Or invite you to their house.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Or take you on a trip. I never thought for
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: a second when she had his tickets it was because
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: of a blowjob. I never thought that.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: If it was a 23-year-old girl that's all of a
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: sudden in the front row, I would say, yeah, probably
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: this chick is... Or maybe the first time, you don't
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: have to do anything. The fifth time, you got to
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: be doing something.
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: The first time, you can go on the jet. Second time,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: get on your knees.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: What do you call it? A hooker light?
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Yeah, a hooker light. But I think, yeah, like that's
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: the first ticket to see if.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Let me invite you and see if I can like
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: see how much.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: You're willing to... Let's see what you're willing to do.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Do for a bag and a this and a that.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: But just.
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: A 40-year-old woman that you're friendly with and the guy's like, hey,
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: maybe your boys would like to go to this game.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Here you go. Yeah.
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: I mean, I've had people give my boys and I
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: tickets to a Laker game and I've blown nobody.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: Because probably you're a public person and they want to
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: get to know you.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: And we run in the circles and they have the tickets.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: They bought the thing. They have so many tickets.
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: Well, and if you have season tickets, you don't go
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: every night. No. Like, it's too much.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I mean, yeah. And they'll say, hey, we— you know,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: we're not going to this event.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Would you like to go? Yeah, that happens. And nobody
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: has to give a blowjob for that.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: And that's why Heather was so pissed because she's like,
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: I never said, what are you talking about? You know,
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: it was a private phone call Whitney and I had
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: had where she asked me my thoughts.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: Oh, and that was the fight where they were in
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: the lingerie. Well, aren't you glad you didn't have, did
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: you have to be in the lingerie?
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: You didn't go to that.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: No, I did not go.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: And I didn't, I.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: Definitely had sympathy for Lisa, who's like, I don't want
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: to take off my makeup and do drag makeup.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: And Meredith, I don't want to wear a wig.
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: I didn't see that.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: And Mary, I don't want to get in a costume.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I understand that... Do they push for that too, producers,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: that you have to have a theme and get in
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: weird outfits every time?
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: They just... There's always like a shtick or a let's
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: take this to the next level, a gimmick or whatever.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: And.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: I don't know that they necessarily push for that, but
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: I think they have to make it entertaining, obviously. Yeah. So, yeah.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, I thoroughly have enjoyed talking to you. Thank you.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I think you've made the right decision for your life.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I do.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: I've never regretted it.
- 1:19:28Speaker 4: And you have a bunch of things kind of going
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: on that I think are really interesting that you can
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: help people with. So let's just talk a little bit
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: about how they can follow you and what you're working
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: on with your different endeavors.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: So I've tried to take, I was an influencer before
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: this because I love fashion. So I've tried to kind
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: of take what little fame I got from the show
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: and make it work for me. And use my platform
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: for good. I've always been very philanthropic and passionate about that.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: I think it's the little Mormon girl in me that
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: was taught to serve others.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Christian service. Yeah.
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: I do my Christian service.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: I still am like, there's still that part of me.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: It's like, I'm still trying to get the brownie points
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: to heaven. So, um, I, uh, we, I just joined
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: a board called Wolverines Elevated for autistic, uh, folks that
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: want to go to college and folks, um, with Lower
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: IQs like Down syndrome kids. I didn't realize that there's
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: not a lot of programs for those kids to be
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: educated after high school.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: So we're doing a big charity event at our home
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: and we're going to raise money for that so that
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: they can get jobs that are meaningful to them. So
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: I'm really proud to do that. I'm in L.A. right now.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: I attended a baby to baby event. I attended the
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: Wags and Walks animal rescue event. So I'm trying to
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: get more involved in the charity space, which I love.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: You can find me at Angie Harrington on mostly Instagram.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: And I'm a weirdo. I talk about aliens and supernatural
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: and paranormal and all that. So you believe the aliens
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: have come.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: I mean, I've had my sister and I have both
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: had very paranormal experiences that we can't deny. So I've
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: been a believer long before it was cool. Like, My husband,
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: we would go to some of his executive dinners and
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: he'd be like, okay, so can we not talk about
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: Bigfoot tonight?
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: Okay, the Bigfoot. Do you think that was Bigfoot that
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: we just saw?
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: I think so.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Well, the interesting thing about- That's how TMZ is reporting
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: on it.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: I love it. I definitely believe in aliens and all that. Bigfoot,
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: I believe it's something. I don't know what it is.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: And what's fascinating is So my friends own Skinwalker Ranch.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: You're familiar with the show on the History Channel, Skinwalker Ranch?
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: No.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: It's like the biggest scientific studied paranormal hotspot in the world.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: And that's in Utah. And there have been sightings on
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: Skinwalker Ranch and other places where when someone sees like
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: a Bigfoot or a werewolf, there's oftentimes an orb or
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: a UFO. So the theory is it's interdimensional potentially where
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: like something's coming in, whether it's through a wormhole or
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: which I think Einstein, this is where my nerd, my
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: big nerd comes out. I think Einstein actually was the
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: first to talk about wormholes and how things come in
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: from other dimensions. And when we do see those creatures
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: that are unexplained, like cryptids, things like that, there's oftentimes
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: a UFO sighting as well, which I find so fascinating.
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: I haven't been able to figure out what it is yet.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: So the jury's out on Bigfoot for me, but I
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: definitely believe in aliens. And I kind of have the
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: hots for aliens, I'll be honest.
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: Do you think they are coming from multiple different planets
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: or they're all from the same planet?
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: I think some come in from other planets, multiple. I
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: also think some are coming in through wormholes. That's how
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: they get here so quickly. It's like you're going through
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: something that transports you here. And then I also think
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: they're interdimensional. I think some are here on the planet
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: with us, but it's different dimensions that they go through.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: That's why some clairvoyants can see things because it's the
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: The veil or whatever you want to call it is
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: thin for them. And so that's why they're seeing things.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: So I think there's multiple ways to see them.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: So do you believe in psychics and mediums?
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: I do. I think you can also be ripped off
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: by a lot of them. I think you have to
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: be really careful. But we did an alien party at
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: my house on Housewives. It was amazing. We manifested. We
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: actually got UFOs on camera and it didn't make it
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: in scenes. which is wild.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Wait, what do you mean?
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: You're saying there's footage of UFOs in Utah from your party,
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: and they just gave it to the government?
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: Where is it?
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: I don't know. That's a good conspiracy. Maybe that's what happened. No,
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: I think producers had something planned for Dana. Do you
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: remember Dana last season? Dana and I had a fight.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: I didn't include her in my event, and I didn't
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: realize she was on the cast yet because it was
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: a brand-new season. And so because they don't tell you
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: who they cast. So that didn't happen. I went up
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: to her and I was like, I'm so sorry. I
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: didn't realize you were on the cast. Like I totally
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: would have invited you. So it didn't get cut because
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: it wasn't relevant to an argument. Does that make sense?
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: So what we did was we did this theory called–
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: it's by Dr. Stephen Greer. It's called– I can't remember
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: what it's called, but it's human-initiated contact with aliens via
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: meditation theory. And they come in supposedly interdimensionally. And we
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: literally pulled out our cameras. You can ask Whitney. You
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: can ask Heather. You can ask Meredith. They were all there.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: And flying saucers were on our camera. So the producers
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: picked it up. They were there. Producers even went and
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: did this method on their own, like in Joshua Tree,
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: and sent me pictures of UFOs flying above them. But
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: it didn't make the scene. So I don't know that
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: it was a government thing or if it was a
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: credibility thing or what. Or it just didn't pertain to
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: storyline at the time.
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: So what do you feel about– we might have to
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: cut this and put this in.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: A different show.
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: But what do you feel about like The Matrix?
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: I think– I haven't watched The Matrix forever.
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: I've never even watched The Matrix, but I'm watching these
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: TikToks where people are kind of saying weird Matrix things
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: that have happened to them.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: It's like– This is where conspiracy comes in and it's tough.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: And how would you explain it?
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: Like there's different dimensions or like you have two separate,
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: like you have a whole other life going.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: In like a different dimension. There's a whole other Heather
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: doing something.
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: There's a lot of theories on that. That I don't know.
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: What I do believe is when we see things we
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: can't explain, like ghosts are always iridescent or when people
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: are seeing these orbs or these aliens or these werewolves,
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: I think it's like a TV channel. Remember the old
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: ones from the 80s? You would like turn it and
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: it would be fuzzy and then you would turn it
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: and it would get a little bit clearer. That's kind
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: of what it's like to see into other dimensions. In
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: my opinion, from what the research I've done is like
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: this world we see through such a narrow glass, you know,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: like we see things just from our perspective. But I
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: believe there's stuff all around us, you know, and that
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: would be like the tuning in. And apparently you can
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: tune in.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: But.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: There's stuff that's kept from us because people like to
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: control that information. That's the idea. Now, I don't know
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: if that's true. And it's hard to talk about this
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: stuff because I don't want to sound like a conspiracy
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: theorist because some of this is very real. And I
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: think it's really important that it gets taken seriously.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: So I saw this girl on TikTok.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: I love your TikTok.
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: And she's like a woman like, you know, around my age, whatever.
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: And she goes, all right, I'm going to tell you
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: this story. And she's like, there was this kid in
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: kindergarten named Steve Anderson or something. And his name was
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: Steve Anderson. And I went to, I left and went
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: to another school.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: Then he went to that.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: And like different, he followed her in all these different schools.
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: And they were just like, she's like, oh, that's so weird.
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: But they went from like New York to Chicago to
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: Connecticut to whatever.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: Then she's in college, like, doing Europe. And they're supposed
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: to go on this pub crawl, like, with this host.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: The host doesn't show up. They decide to do their own,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: and they go to this weird underground bar or whatever.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: And who shows up but the guy?
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: And it's like, how does this guy keep showing up
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: from all these different parts of her life? Now she's
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: in her 40s or whatever, and she's at work, and
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: her co-worker is engaged to him.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: Like, and they jumped multiple states, right?
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: And then she goes, okay, now I'm going to film
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: something without my family.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: Knowing what is going on. Okay. So she is filming
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: her husband in the morning. She's like, hey, good morning.
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: She goes, hey, when we rented that house, who owned it?
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: And he goes, the Andersons, this other house. And she goes,
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: and when we bought this house, what was the name
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: of the owner of this house?
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: And he goes, Andersons.
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: Then she goes to her son and she goes, remember
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: your imaginary friend when you were little?
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: And he goes, yeah. And she goes, what was his
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: name again? He goes, Anderson.
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: Wild.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Wild.
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: And I was just like, and so some people thought
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: there's something, maybe the Steve Anderson guy and his, and his,
- 1:28:11Speaker 4: and her parents were both in the CIA or something.
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: That was the only other thing that would make sense
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: other than this being just, Way too fucking weird of
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: a coincidence.
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: But it still doesn't make sense why he ended up
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: at that bar.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: See, I don't think there are coincidences. That's where kind
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: of my paranormal mind comes in. In my opinion, that
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: could be a pre-life where he was very much involved
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: in her life. Because we take the same people with
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: us as we reincarnate, I believe.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: Don't know for a fact. Nobody does. But we take
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: the same people with us and they come in different forms.
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: So that could have been a father figure before. That
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: could have been a child before. And they want to
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: stay in touch somehow on some level, you know, because
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: our spirit just enters new bodies as it comes and goes.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: And that happens a lot. Like there's there's children who
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: are only four years old. They can remember the house
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: they lived in, what their name was. And then parents
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: will go look. And sure enough, in the 1920s, some
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: man named Melvin, whatever, lived on this street in LA.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: And there's like, people have recordings of like little kids
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: saying stuff.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: It's wild.
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: So I do think there are no synchronicities. For example, 32,
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: 23 are two numbers that have always been significant in
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: my life. Your room is 232, which I've No surprise,
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: but like you're the only Bravo podcast I really listen to.
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: And I thought it was interesting that I asked to
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: come to your podcast and you were 232. I was like,
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: oh yeah, of course she's 232. And then Heather and I,
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: this is when I knew we were BFFs, was we
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: have the same four digit code on our phone and
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: it is those number sequences. And I was like, what
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: are the freaking odds we would have the same four
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: digit code? Like there's probably thousands of four digit codes.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: So I think weird synchronicities like that.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: I think when you make yourself aware of it.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: It does manifest more.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: It totally manifests more. I agree. And I also think
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: it can work with people who have passed. Like I
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: remember I was at like a girls weekend and I–
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: I told this story that I love about my dad
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: that he would absolutely love. So I tell the story
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: about my dad. And then I go to the spa.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: It's such a girl's story, but I go to the spa.
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: And she's like, oh, I'll take you to your locker.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: And the locker was 34.
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: And that was my dad's number for football.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: But that is what he used for every bank code, everything.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: It was always 34, 34, 34, 34, 34. And like
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: right then it's like, oh, you're number 34.
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: And I just was talking about him and it was
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: like he would have absolutely loved that story because it
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: was super interesting and super flattering to his life and
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: that he would be impressed that I remembered it. And
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: so I'm like, I literally think he was sitting watching
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: us and then was like, made that happen so that,
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: you know, oh, send her to Locker 34.
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: Well, numerology, like the more you look into numerology, it's fascinating.
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: Like how there's like a sacred geometry and sacred geometry
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: and how numerology is actually really a thing.
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: It's fascinating. So if I ever did reality TV again,
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: it would probably be in the paranormal space. Yeah. I
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: would love to like. interview because I've hosted television before.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: I would love to go interview people who have like
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: evidence of paranormal experiences. That would be cool. That's something
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: I'm kind of working on.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: Cool. I love that for you.
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: We'll see.
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: I love that for you.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: I love that for me.
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: 32, 32.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: Now I got to go change all my passwords. That's
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: not going to work anymore.
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: And mine are not 34, 34. Those were my dad
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: and he is in heaven. Thank you so much, Angie.
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: This was super fun.
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: I'm so glad we got to know each other.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: It was a pleasure to meet you.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: Thank you. The car is beautiful. Where did you end
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: up going for it? This exclusive place that Dad has
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: connections with. They have more cars for more dealerships than
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: like anywhere else. You have to put me in touch.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: What's it called? It's Dune ADL.
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: Where?
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: Dune ADL. There's an accent on the E. Do you mean... Yes,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: Lift?
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: Please. Are you going past Kimmage? Oh, Kimmage. No. Dundale Cars.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
