- 0:01Speaker 1: That's kind of fun to watch you in the monitor
- 0:03Speaker 1: with your sitting in total blackness, and then you're frantically
- 0:06Speaker 1: turning the lights on.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Right before we join each other. That's historical.
- 0:09Speaker 3: It's the weirdest thing because I just get so comfortable
- 0:12Speaker 3: I get in my vibe on the eminem on the
- 0:15Speaker 3: Eminem Extra podcast. I got so comfortable and relaxed that
- 0:19Speaker 3: I had this background behind me the podcast. When that
- 0:23Speaker 3: date right, we need our purple Polka Dotti Larry King
- 0:25Speaker 3: live background three four minutes in before I went. Don't
- 0:29Speaker 3: turn around and change that with a magic switch. So
- 0:32Speaker 3: thank you, glad you, glad you had that will to entertain.
- 0:35Speaker 1: A lit mark is better than an unlit mark. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: like lit universally true, and I am lit. I are
- 0:42Speaker 1: a lit boy that I am lit. We all ought
- 0:45Speaker 1: to be lit. We ought to be How about Michigan
- 0:49Speaker 1: and Byron York Last night on Laura Ingram said the
- 0:52Speaker 1: Democrat Party is in the process of completely falling apart
- 0:56Speaker 1: right now. They did not want to see l Side win. Uh,
- 1:00Speaker 1: but he won or is gonna win, I'm sure, and
- 1:03Speaker 1: that's a huge failure for them. Look, let me be
- 1:05Speaker 1: clear here. This is objectively good for the Republican Party.
- 1:09Speaker 2: What happened?
- 1:10Speaker 3: Hope I do, I hope I believe. I mean I
- 1:13Speaker 3: think so too, but we'll please let that be true.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Well, I mean, Mike Pompeo tweeted this morning, here's a
- 1:19Speaker 1: sentence you would have never thought you'd read five ten
- 1:22Speaker 1: years ago. A Hamas supporter is going to be the
- 1:25Speaker 1: Democrat nominee to represent Michigan in the Senate. I mean,
- 1:29Speaker 1: they're the Democrat Party is headed down mark a very
- 1:33Speaker 1: very dark road. And Americans are not dark. And we're
- 1:38Speaker 1: not We're not a bunch of Hassan pikers. We're not
- 1:41Speaker 1: a bunch of people who think we deserve what.
- 1:43Speaker 2: We went through on nine to eleven. We're not.
- 1:44Speaker 1: We don't believe that Mike Rodgers is going to beat
- 1:47Speaker 1: Abdul l said in the Michigan As confident as you
- 1:51Speaker 1: are about Paxton beating Taller Rico, I'm that confident that
- 1:55Speaker 1: Mike Rodgers is going to win pretty easily.
- 1:58Speaker 3: And with good with good Rea, And that's earth logic,
- 2:01Speaker 3: and you're right. And the only thing that is tugging
- 2:03Speaker 3: on my sleeve a little bit is the passion of
- 2:08Speaker 3: the today's Democrats younger voters. I mean the infamous James
- 2:12Speaker 3: Carville once said there's a word for people who rely
- 2:16Speaker 3: on the youth vote, lose a But that's just no
- 2:20Speaker 3: longer true. And if they're young, energetic, blue haired, college
- 2:24Speaker 3: educated DSA dorks, enough of them in Michigan, this guy
- 2:29Speaker 3: could make it a nail bier for Mike Rogers.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Well, I think.
- 2:34Speaker 1: That he just he or he won't because he was
- 2:37Speaker 1: expected to win by double digits. He eked out a
- 2:41Speaker 1: win last night. Him winning by only a couple of
- 2:44Speaker 1: points is the best possible outcome for Mike Rogers because
- 2:49Speaker 1: you know, look, look the betting markets all had him
- 2:51Speaker 1: winning twelve to fifteen percent. He underperformed pretty badly, So
- 2:56Speaker 1: you know that's fine. He wins, And you are so right. This,
- 2:59Speaker 1: this youth movement of the left goes back to David
- 3:03Speaker 1: Hogg and I remember talking. I remember talking about this kid,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and I remember saying, take these young people seriously, don't
- 3:12Speaker 1: just dismiss them. And I have a weird kind of
- 3:17Speaker 1: an admiration for these young people who came out of
- 3:20Speaker 1: something like the Parkland shooting and decided to become complete
- 3:24Speaker 1: gun control advocates and all of that. But they but
- 3:27Speaker 1: they were organized, and they were articulate and fairly eloquent
- 3:32Speaker 1: and passionate. And we have to have a kind of
- 3:36Speaker 1: a of a healthy respect for the ability for young
- 3:40Speaker 1: people to coalesce behind a guy like Abdul l said
- 3:46Speaker 1: or taller Rico. Young people feel like, oh good, and
- 3:50Speaker 1: look you and I a couple of boomers can write
- 3:52Speaker 1: it off.
- 3:52Speaker 2: This way.
- 3:53Speaker 1: The young people are saying, finally we've got people who
- 3:55Speaker 1: are going to give us a lot of free stuff.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I mean, that's all exactly, that's all it is. It's
- 4:01Speaker 1: not ideological. They don't care about Hamas, they don't care.
- 4:04Speaker 1: They really don't care about Israel. They care about getting
- 4:07Speaker 1: free stuff. All they hear is free buses, free tuition,
- 4:11Speaker 1: Medicare for all. That's their big That's that's ourdual. Doctor
- 4:15Speaker 1: Abdul l Saied's mantra Medicare for all. Everybody's on government
- 4:19Speaker 1: healthcare because that'll work out great. Ever been to the
- 4:22Speaker 1: post office? Ever go to the VA, Yeah, you go
- 4:24Speaker 1: get health care. You you wait for your your lung
- 4:28Speaker 1: transplant for nine months. Yeah, that's gonna go great. Government
- 4:32Speaker 1: and Medicare for all. These people are but Ben Dominic
- 4:35Speaker 1: said it, and he's so right. Look, this is a
- 4:38Speaker 1: this is not These are not crazy people. They are
- 4:42Speaker 1: intentionally selling a red green ideology ideology. Look, I heard
- 4:47Speaker 1: your story about the opposition to the mosque in Texas.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Look you got people. Of course, there's no there are
- 4:55Speaker 1: peace loving Muslims. Don't don't try to convince each other
- 4:59Speaker 1: that there's only violent Muslims. But there are a lot
- 5:02Speaker 1: of violent Jihadis, loving Islamists, radical Islamists who are coming
- 5:08Speaker 1: to town, and they are fundamentally anti American. They want
- 5:12Speaker 1: to hurt this country, and they are selling that bill
- 5:15Speaker 1: of goods to a frustrated electorate who just wants to change.
- 5:20Speaker 1: They don't like the James Carville anymore of the party.
- 5:22Speaker 1: They don't want Hayley Stevens. They don't want establishment Republicans,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I mean Democrats. They want somebody who's just gonna blow
- 5:30Speaker 1: it all up. And back to my theory, you maga
- 5:33Speaker 1: people are crazy. We're gonna build, We're gonna be crazier.
- 5:36Speaker 1: And you think you got dynamite with with Trump and Maga,
- 5:40Speaker 1: we got Krypton, we got we got we got mega
- 5:43Speaker 1: tons of dynamite.
- 5:44Speaker 3: And that's what's happening. That's where we are. I think
- 5:46Speaker 3: your analysis is spot on the difference. I hope that
- 5:49Speaker 3: the difference is the maga energy that what started a
- 5:52Speaker 3: sort of tea party energy. That maga energy, the Trump
- 5:55Speaker 3: injury and energy excuse me as as Republicans and Conservatives
- 6:00Speaker 3: have dialed it up, has accrued to our benefit and
- 6:02Speaker 3: has accrued to the country's benefit. Good things have happened
- 6:05Speaker 3: as a result for the Democrats to turn up their
- 6:08Speaker 3: brand of things. It goes from sort of wealth redistribution
- 6:12Speaker 3: to outright communism. It goes from just having left of
- 6:16Speaker 3: center ideas about the culture too. There are twenty seven genders,
- 6:19Speaker 3: and I don't think that's going to work out well
- 6:21Speaker 3: for them.
- 6:21Speaker 1: To see Abdul l Sid's speech last night, Now it
- 6:25Speaker 1: isn't exactly I guess formally called yet NBC gave it
- 6:29Speaker 1: to him, but it's so close that a number of
- 6:31Speaker 1: the media organizations have still still not called it for him.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But in his semi victory speech last night, he said
- 6:40Speaker 1: with a big grin, and he loved this, how are
- 6:43Speaker 1: you going to beat Mike Rogers? I want to remind
- 6:46Speaker 1: them in Shalla, in Shalla and God willing in Islam
- 6:54Speaker 1: and people. He was and he had a grin on
- 6:57Speaker 1: his face, like take that America. Here I come. I'm
- 7:01Speaker 1: a guy that campaigns with a popular podcaster who thinks
- 7:06Speaker 1: that America deserved nine to eleven, that the Terrists were
- 7:09Speaker 1: the good guys. Hassan Piker, that's his buddy, and he
- 7:12Speaker 1: was there on stage with him last night.
- 7:14Speaker 3: And we made hang him around Abdulah, I'll say Ed's neck.
- 7:17Speaker 3: And they have that reputational damage accrew to Mike Rodgers
- 7:20Speaker 3: as his benefit.
- 7:22Speaker 2: So if you better believe we will.
- 7:23Speaker 1: And look, the Democrats are terrifying Chris Murphy, Bernie Sanders.
- 7:28Speaker 1: They're giving them all a pass. They don't want to
- 7:30Speaker 1: go up against them. The Bernie Sanders was asked, you
- 7:34Speaker 1: really are supporting a guy who's lifted up by Hassan Piker,
- 7:37Speaker 1: a guy who said we deserve nine to eleven. Bernie said, well,
- 7:40Speaker 1: he's a podcaster. He's got a lot of followers. And
- 7:43Speaker 1: you know, when you do three hours a day, sometimes
- 7:45Speaker 1: you make a mistake and you say goofy things.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Oh well he's right about that. However, really you do it,
- 7:53Speaker 2: you do it, I do it.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I don't think in any of my three hour bursts
- 7:56Speaker 3: of radio or any of yours that at any point
- 7:58Speaker 3: you've said, hey, America deserved nine to eleven.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Whops? What happened there?
- 8:03Speaker 1: Was? Yest's whoa, whoa, that's slip mistake.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Well, it's three hours a day. What are you gonna do?
- 8:09Speaker 2: What's gonna happen? It's terrorist are good? Whoops? That was
- 8:13Speaker 2: a three hour mistake. I mean, how did norm happen?
- 8:16Speaker 2: That slipped out? I can't believe.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I can't believe that Osama ben Laden a good guy.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Whoopside that just slipped I can't good Ke had some
- 8:26Speaker 1: good ideas. Whoa, yeah, the Hitler was a pretty good painter.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Whoop side that slipped out? Three hours? As it's gonna happen.
- 8:35Speaker 2: It's gonna happen.
- 8:36Speaker 1: It's a long day for us Mark and then you
- 8:38Speaker 1: had the podcast. On top of that, you had another
- 8:40Speaker 1: forty five minutes to an hour. Lord knows, nortally knows,
- 8:44Speaker 1: we're capable of saying today point it could go off
- 8:48Speaker 1: the rail.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Speaking of people, speaking of people who used to have
- 8:51Speaker 3: three hour talk show gig, yes sir, but who now
- 8:53Speaker 3: have a slightly different gig.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Chris Tigall is gonna be a congressman. Yes, sir, he
- 8:58Speaker 2: is man.
- 8:58Speaker 3: He I'm Mary and Missouri is in the sixth district
- 9:01Speaker 3: of Missouri, right Kansas City, that's right here, and it's
- 9:04Speaker 3: a Republican district. So he is going to win in November. Oh,
- 9:07Speaker 3: I'm so proud of our friends. So glad for.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Him, Congressman Chris Stegall.
- 9:11Speaker 1: And let me tell you, I talked about him yesterday
- 9:14Speaker 1: or the day before yesterday, pointing out do you realize
- 9:17Speaker 1: what a risk it would be, what a gamble it is,
- 9:20Speaker 1: what a commitment it is to say I'm going to
- 9:22Speaker 1: leave a well paying, big media gig and I'm going
- 9:28Speaker 1: to run for office. Now, I'm going to put this
- 9:30Speaker 1: to you, mister king of talk show hosts in Texas,
- 9:34Speaker 1: mister legend, anybody ever asked you to run for office?
- 9:37Speaker 3: Oh?
- 9:37Speaker 2: All the time, thank you.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I mean over over forty years, over years, right, not
- 9:42Speaker 3: until but I mean once I was back in Texas
- 9:45Speaker 3: for about ten years.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Every once in a while, you'll get this and get sure.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And you'd be and you'd be and by the way,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and by the way, you'd be incredible. I mean, you
- 9:54Speaker 1: talk about being represented in Washington by somebody who loves
- 9:58Speaker 1: and knows Texas and is a a big hearted guy,
- 10:02Speaker 1: has a servant's heart. You would be amazing. Now, would
- 10:05Speaker 1: you ever in a million years consider it?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Not a kid? I love the private sector.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I love saying what I wish and not worrying if
- 10:12Speaker 3: I occasionally make people angry, because it's how I sleep
- 10:14Speaker 3: at night. You want to know why my heart is
- 10:18Speaker 3: always at peace because I'm not beholden to donors or
- 10:22Speaker 3: any party, establishment or anything like that.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You want to know why, Let me tell you why.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Because both of us, and I'm not saying this to
- 10:29Speaker 1: be mean, we're not kind of We don't have that
- 10:33Speaker 1: selflessness that a guy has to say. I'm going to
- 10:36Speaker 1: walk away from all of this and I'm going to
- 10:38Speaker 1: run for office to actually serve the people. I admired
- 10:41Speaker 1: Chris so much. To think about this, think about if
- 10:44Speaker 1: it didn't work out he leaves.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Mike.
- 10:47Speaker 3: We talked about this because he was up against a
- 10:49Speaker 3: young man on the like the only conservative on the
- 10:52Speaker 3: Kansas City City Council. His name escapes me, you will
- 10:55Speaker 3: I sleep back into obscurity. But it was like, could
- 11:00Speaker 3: this be a close one? Is this man? And it
- 11:02Speaker 3: was never no election is ever a guarantee. And if
- 11:05Speaker 3: that can you imagine blowing away a talk show and
- 11:07Speaker 3: then running for Congress and it doesn't work out. I mean,
- 11:09Speaker 3: I'm sure you know Chris was not gonna be eating
- 11:11Speaker 3: dog food, but that way, it was a major gamble
- 11:13Speaker 3: and he did it because he does have that heart
- 11:15Speaker 3: for service, and like you, I lift it up. I
- 11:18Speaker 3: absolutely am thrilled for him and.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Just drilled for him. Great, great, great congratulations Congressman to
- 11:23Speaker 1: be Chris de gaul And hey, you and me tackling

- 12:06Speaker 1: and I said, Phil, it's the craziest thing we're now.
- 12:10Speaker 1: We joked that the talk shows have become the second
- 12:13Speaker 1: most favorite part of our day. But I don't think
- 12:15Speaker 1: we're joking anymore. We love this thing.
- 12:18Speaker 2: We have to like this.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I like it, but I'm loving the podcast I'm having.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I didn't think I was going to enjoy it so much,
- 12:25Speaker 1: did you.
- 12:26Speaker 3: I knew it would be my bar for loving it
- 12:29Speaker 3: and enjoying it was right about here. And it has
- 12:30Speaker 3: been blasted and exploded and exceeded exponentially.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Oh it's wild and no time constraints. We just kind
- 12:38Speaker 1: of let loose. We had were unfiltered, unchanged, unplugged. Mark
- 12:42Speaker 1: goes Mark goes blue all the time. You starting curse,

- 13:13Speaker 3: be right, I mean, listen fifty years from now. I
- 13:14Speaker 3: don't know, but there we are. Check it out afterward.
- 13:18Speaker 1: None
