Uber stock came to our attention recently as a way to play the robotaxi and vehicle autonomy thesis. It seems intuitive that whichever robotaxi company comes out ahead, they'll likely use Uber's app for ride hailing. And we imagine Uber's relatively low margins will only be improved by adding autonomy into the mix. When 60% of a ride's fare goes to driver wages, what happens when you remove the driver?
