- 2:28Speaker 1: First of all, this is their freezer that is loaded
- 2:31Speaker 1: up with grass fed local beef. This is right past
- 2:35Speaker 1: the junction of fourteen and Route two. There stay on
- 2:38Speaker 1: Route two for another one hundred yards. Is it up
- 2:40Speaker 1: by the sawmill the Fontaine Well, it's it's that's the
- 2:44Speaker 1: Fontaine family. But it's not on fourteen. It's it's on
- 2:47Speaker 1: Route two right right. So isn't it right up the road?
- 2:50Speaker 2: Isn't there like a Brag's farm or something like that,
- 2:53Speaker 2: where they saw that's up on fourteen. Oh, that's where
- 2:57Speaker 2: the sawmill is.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Stay on two, got on to did you you know
- 3:01Speaker 1: a lot of just pass the junction another one hundred yards.

- 3:07Speaker 2: when you're when you're trying to save your heart, stay
- 3:09Speaker 2: away from red meat. That's the worst fucking thing you
- 3:11Speaker 2: could do, mane. Yeah, don't stay away from red meat. Regulate. Yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 2: don't eat super fatty. It's not the red meat, it's
- 3:18Speaker 2: the fat.
- 3:19Speaker 1: That's a picture of one of their burgers with their
- 3:22Speaker 1: eat that right now, I know, with their their local
- 3:25Speaker 1: grass fed beef.
- 3:26Speaker 2: And ah, that's actually what I would eat right.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Now, Tomahawk, Tomahawk steaks. They've got the sale going on tomorrow.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Uh and and cold Bruce as well. So and even
- 3:37Speaker 1: their brew is on sell.
- 3:39Speaker 2: My butcher doesn't sell beer.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but this this starts tomorrow at noon.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Oh really, the sale ahead and I'm checking it out.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I gotta check that out.
- 3:51Speaker 1: You like that, you you like that that local grass
- 3:54Speaker 1: fed beef.
- 3:55Speaker 2: So my freezer is full. I go up to I
- 3:58Speaker 2: don't want to, I'm not. I go to an their
- 4:00Speaker 2: place up up in Orange and if they paid me,
- 4:03Speaker 2: i'd mentioned their name, but they haven't paid me. So
- 4:06Speaker 2: but they're great. I'm fucking with you. My freezer is full.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I stopped buying any meat.
- 4:12Speaker 1: From the grocery.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I no longer feel bloated. M I'm no longer I
- 4:19Speaker 2: don't feel inflating because it's not really bloating, it's inflammation.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Interesting. Is that interesting?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yes? Really? Wow? It really is.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Good morning, o fella boy. Happy happy Friday?
- 4:33Speaker 2: Is it a happy Friday?
- 4:35Speaker 1: My god?
- 4:35Speaker 2: I don't think it's very high. I see a lot
- 4:36Speaker 2: of angry people online seem like happy there is.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I'm going to I'm gonna read something here and just
- 4:43Speaker 1: a little bit from a from a business owner right
- 4:45Speaker 1: here in central Vermont, and then after I'm done reading it,
- 4:48Speaker 1: i'll tell you. I'll tell you who that business is
- 4:51Speaker 1: before we get there quickly here f BG Theaters. F
- 4:56Speaker 1: GB Theaters. That would be the Capitol show place and
- 5:00Speaker 1: the paramount right here in Barry. They've got to what.
- 5:03Speaker 2: A great family, little business.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I know.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I can't. I can't say enough good things. I was
- 5:08Speaker 2: going there since I was a little tiny kid, and
- 5:11Speaker 2: that was always I mean, we live in Vermont. There's
- 5:14Speaker 2: not a lot to do, so that just having that
- 5:16Speaker 2: staple right here in Barry and Montpellier, I know, has
- 5:19Speaker 2: been huge throughout my entire life.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It's gonna be it's gonna be cold this weekend. We've
- 5:24Speaker 1: got some weather coming in Sunday night, in a Monday.
- 5:27Speaker 1: But I'm telling you, get out to the movies. Disappear
- 5:31Speaker 1: from the planet for a couple of hours and escapism,
- 5:35Speaker 1: go into a different.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Realm just for your own mental health. Get the fuck
- 5:39Speaker 2: out of your house. Yep, go to the movies. Comparing
- 5:43Speaker 2: me JD. I am actively working on myself for not
- 5:48Speaker 2: swearing as much.
- 5:49Speaker 1: It's okay, you know, hey, listen, you're you're who you are, right.
- 5:59Speaker 2: No, but it's I get it, all right. I'm gonna
- 6:04Speaker 2: save the swearing for very important things.
- 6:06Speaker 1: All right, when you get worked up. Yeah, let me
- 6:09Speaker 1: run down some of the movies that are playing Perfect Companion,
- 6:13Speaker 1: Complete Unknown, that's the Bob Dylan story, Flight Risk, Move Faster,
- 6:16Speaker 1: The Lion King, September fifth. Those are playing right now
- 6:20Speaker 1: at the Capitol and at the Paramount. Dog Man and
- 6:26Speaker 1: Valiant One. So dog Man, Lily's got to see that
- 6:30Speaker 1: loves the dog Man series. I'm gonna start out this morning.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna first of all, we should probably tell everyone
- 6:38Speaker 1: what the weather forecast is. And I should also mention
- 6:41Speaker 1: before I forget that Steve McKenzie is going to be
- 6:45Speaker 1: coming on the air with me on Monday, Monday.
- 6:48Speaker 2: He's got a lot of really good information. I understand
- 6:51Speaker 2: what I mean. It's I don't get why people don't
- 6:54Speaker 2: use you more often to get that information on you.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It's you're the biggest local podcast out there. There's I mean, Well,
- 7:01Speaker 2: he's gonna an easy way to get the word out.
- 7:03Speaker 1: He's he'll be in Monday, Monday morning, and we're gonna
- 7:06Speaker 1: be talking about JJ Newberry Building YEP, which is to
- 7:11Speaker 1: try to.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Put to I mean, because that thing has caused a
- 7:15Speaker 2: lot of emotional response for a long time, so long time.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It's good to have these people come on and explain
- 7:20Speaker 2: themselves so that people can see because not everything's a
- 7:23Speaker 2: fucking conspirat. Damn it, there there yet, I'm gonna start
- 7:27Speaker 2: a swear jar up there, you know what, matter of fact,
- 7:29Speaker 2: start a swear jar. Let's do a swear jar every
- 7:33Speaker 2: time I swear'na put money in there. But when that
- 7:35Speaker 2: thing fills up, will donate it. Yes, how about that?
- 7:37Speaker 2: I would love you know what, I'm gonna start with
- 7:39Speaker 2: ten bucks right now, and we'll just get that right
- 7:41Speaker 2: out of the way. All right, let's do it the
- 7:43Speaker 2: ten dollars square jar?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Can we do that?
- 7:46Speaker 2: A matter of fact, I'll just change with a We'll
- 7:49Speaker 2: start with a twenty dollars No. No, because I'm gonna
- 7:51Speaker 2: use it up.
- 7:52Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I'm definitely gonna use it up. Keep track, keep track.
- 7:59Speaker 2: There's my first I want to every guest has to
- 8:02Speaker 2: put into this swear jar.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Come on, it's not gonna be twenty bucks.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Oh fuck it ain't. There's three we Uh.
- 8:08Speaker 1: We also have to determine where this money is going
- 8:11Speaker 1: to go exactly.
- 8:12Speaker 2: We'll figure that out later.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Well, probably a charity of some sort, but we'll figure
- 8:16Speaker 1: it out absolutely, something local and direct. All right, cloudy,
- 8:20Speaker 1: cloudy skies today, some snow showers developing this afternoon, and
- 8:25Speaker 1: thirty eight degrees. Uh is what it's going to be.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Let's see, so drive carefully because we could get, you know,
- 8:35Speaker 1: some poor visibility.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I should probably get my winter tires on, shouldn't.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I probably should. It's almost February, by hey, but I
- 8:43Speaker 1: have four will drive. Talked about this the other day,
- 8:47Speaker 1: all the people driving around, I'll got four will drive,
- 8:50Speaker 1: four will drive, I got all seasons on. Let's see
- 8:53Speaker 1: tonight nine degrees, cloudy skies, snow showers, and Saturday looks
- 9:00Speaker 1: like thirteen tomorrow for the high only with partly sunny skies.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Thirteen for the high. That's the high. And then on
- 9:09Speaker 1: Sunday read.
- 9:10Speaker 2: What though inside of the gym at Greened City, MMA,
- 9:14Speaker 2: it's like sixty.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Keep it low because yeah, when Sophia starts paunching me
- 9:20Speaker 2: in the face, you sweat, I sweat.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Let's see cloudy on Sunday and twenty one and then
- 9:28Speaker 1: Sunday night is when we've got some snow developing. Uh.
- 9:32Speaker 1: They're saying around three inches Sunday night into Monday mornings.
- 9:36Speaker 1: So and it could be it could be more than that, Okay,
- 9:41Speaker 1: so just keep that in mind. Well, obviously we all
- 9:45Speaker 1: think about the winter tire. We all know, yeah, you
- 9:47Speaker 1: should think about the winter ties. We all know how
- 9:49Speaker 1: to watch and pay attention to the weather. We get
- 9:52Speaker 1: it on our phone. But I'm going to be paying
- 9:53Speaker 1: attention to it too, And I'll let you know if
- 9:55Speaker 1: there's anything that's all right.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I appreciate that. Uh.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Let's see how about uh, well we did weather. How
- 10:03Speaker 1: about a couple of birthdays this morning? And listen, if
- 10:07Speaker 1: you know anyone, if you I will make fun of them.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You want you to make fun of people? Come on,
- 10:13Speaker 2: it's mental health, awaren this week?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Well it's true. Linda Coocher, great great lady. Yeah, she's
- 10:20Speaker 1: on the birthday list today. Uh. Jessica Garrison, Happy birthday
- 10:26Speaker 1: to you, Adrianna Pemberton. I know some Pemberton's Angie Whitney,
- 10:34Speaker 1: Jessica Garrison. I think I mentioned her, Seth Seth Wild.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Dan Egan, Uh is that that's the skier Dan Egan, Uh,
- 10:45Speaker 1: Daniel Gordon, Carrie Blake Lee.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And it's funny how much trouble you're having pronouncing like
- 10:55Speaker 2: basic names. I'm odd snaved, it's Smith Smith. Uh. Then
- 11:04Speaker 2: you're like Cohesha, Jeane Pratt. Uh.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Tom Lampson, Happy birthday everyone, happy? Yes, good morning, Good
- 11:16Speaker 1: morning Shirley and Glenn and yeah, g is tuned in
- 11:22Speaker 1: this morning, Dona Martine. Yeah, all right, So I'm gonna
- 11:28Speaker 1: read something here in just a second. This Uh actually
- 11:36Speaker 1: you know what, let me let me just run down
- 11:37Speaker 1: a couple of Vermont headlines. There's not that much that's
- 11:41Speaker 1: going on the governor. Yep, bottom line. I mean you
- 11:48Speaker 1: can read all if you're governor.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I can't say, dude, I don't care. That guy saved
- 11:52Speaker 2: my ass this week.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You can read about this stuff more. I don't need
- 11:57Speaker 1: to read the whole story to you. But he is
- 12:00Speaker 1: trying to get thirteen million dollars in tax breaks right now.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Dude. That freeze, that freeze that they did at the
- 12:09Speaker 2: beginning of the week, I had a check waiting for
- 12:11Speaker 2: me for ten thousand. I did a bunch of work
- 12:13Speaker 2: for the Feds. It was a federal program that I did.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I did a bunch of work, it got done. I
- 12:18Speaker 2: did all my I did everything I was supposed to do,
- 12:22Speaker 2: and then they put that freeze on it and tried
- 12:24Speaker 2: to tell me, oh, sorry, I can't pay you the
- 12:27Speaker 2: ten thousand dollars right now because we want to make sure.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I was like, oh hell oh. And Governor Scott, actually
- 12:35Speaker 2: Governor Scott's office got involved because I was a local contract.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I was like, I can't not get paid the ten
- 12:41Speaker 2: thousand dollars that I've already put out there for the
- 12:43Speaker 2: federal government and so the state, and they took it
- 12:47Speaker 2: out of their own fund and paid me this week.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Wow.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I guess a lot of people
- 12:54Speaker 2: didn't understand that those grants were tied to individual payments,
- 12:58Speaker 2: even though they said they weren't. Oh my god, I
- 13:00Speaker 2: can't believe a politician lied to us. Who would have funk. Yeah,
- 13:07Speaker 2: let's see, I got it now.
- 13:09Speaker 1: No word yet of any kind of immigration enforcement happening
- 13:14Speaker 1: here in Vermont. We're rounding up criminals, right We're going
- 13:20Speaker 1: to be watching what's going to be happening.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Isn't that what Ice is doing right now? They're rounding
- 13:24Speaker 2: up criminals.
- 13:25Speaker 1: We're going to be watching what happens here and from
- 13:27Speaker 1: out at our local farms and whatnot. We'll be paying
- 13:31Speaker 1: attention to the news. But as of now, no immigration
- 13:36Speaker 1: enforcement has has happened yet in the state of Vermont.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Probably don't know where the fuck it is. Did you
- 13:43Speaker 1: hear about there it is again? Another dollar in there?
- 13:45Speaker 1: Did you hear about gipmo that we're we're sending thirty
- 13:50Speaker 1: thousand illegal immigrants to Guantanamo Bay. I was talking about
- 13:55Speaker 1: this yesterday with Gee.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Are they going to rename it? Auschwitz next.
- 13:59Speaker 1: I don't know. The storage incredible, but that doesn't cost
- 14:05Speaker 1: tax payers nothing.
- 14:09Speaker 2: So my I guess I don't understand. I thought we
- 14:12Speaker 2: wanted to get criminals out of our country, and they've
- 14:16Speaker 2: deported what thirty five hundred people this week. That's a
- 14:19Speaker 2: huge number. There's eleven million illegal immigrants. Yeah, it would
- 14:24Speaker 2: take them, I think they said twenty eight years at
- 14:26Speaker 2: this pace to get them out of our country. Even
- 14:29Speaker 2: just to find them and get them out of here.
- 14:33Speaker 2: It's ninety six billion dollars in tax revenue that we
- 14:35Speaker 2: get from them people. But you know, did you know
- 14:38Speaker 2: that there's did I look this up the other day
- 14:41Speaker 2: because I was like, wow, you know, that's that's a
- 14:43Speaker 2: good idea. We shouldn't have criminals in here. So the
- 14:46Speaker 2: first place I would look for these criminals is the
- 14:49Speaker 2: thirty thousand illegal immigrants that we're housing in our federal
- 14:54Speaker 2: prison alone. Not one of them have been deported. We're
- 14:58Speaker 2: paying to house them, We're actually paying the fucking how's
- 15:01Speaker 2: it there? It is? Again? How's and feed them people?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Why weren't those the first people put on a plane
- 15:08Speaker 2: and sent back to their country? So it's not is
- 15:11Speaker 2: it really about? Is it really about criminal illegals.
- 15:15Speaker 1: You know, G had a great point yesterday. You know
- 15:18Speaker 1: he's he's basically.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Let me let me say this though I I am
- 15:23Speaker 2: a bit more biased towards them, and I admit that
- 15:28Speaker 2: I used to live with those people in Central America.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I have a different perspective of those people, right. I
- 15:34Speaker 2: don't go by what Donald Trump calls those people. I
- 15:37Speaker 2: go by what my own personal experience of living with
- 15:40Speaker 2: these people.
- 15:40Speaker 1: This is a it's it's a really really sensitive topic,
- 15:45Speaker 1: very controversial, as I think doesn't need to be. We
- 15:48Speaker 1: all know, because you know G's point yesterday is that
- 15:53Speaker 1: scumbags come in all shapes and colors and ethnicity and
- 16:03Speaker 1: right documented or undocumented.
- 16:06Speaker 2: But if they're a US citizen we have to deal
- 16:07Speaker 2: with in pieces of shit.
- 16:09Speaker 1: There are And that was his point yesterday, is that
- 16:11Speaker 1: there are so many US citizens who are pieces of shit.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I think we can find just cound on immigration.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Just because you're an illegal immigrant doesn't mean that you're
- 16:25Speaker 1: as comeback.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Nope, That's where I said. My perspective is different. God,
- 16:30Speaker 2: I've seen what these people are trying to escape from.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I've seen the people trying to escape. You think a
- 16:36Speaker 2: you think a drug dealer. Okay, when I was in
- 16:38Speaker 2: Central America, Pablo Escobar had so much fucking money. I
- 16:41Speaker 2: mean that guy was buying submarines, bringing cocaine up through
- 16:45Speaker 2: our rivers and stuff. You think they're gonna chance loading
- 16:49Speaker 2: a bunch of drugs and everything else to come through
- 16:52Speaker 2: the Dariens Pass and hope that a kilo makes it here,
- 16:57Speaker 2: when in fact they can bribe customs agents. They could
- 17:01Speaker 2: come in through ships. Louck. I mean terrorists just by
- 17:04Speaker 2: plane tickets and temporary visas. They just pull an elon
- 17:07Speaker 2: Musk they overstay their visas or Malani. We have a
- 17:13Speaker 2: those people were okay to overstay their visas. We're not
- 17:16Speaker 2: talking about them people though, right, We're only talking about
- 17:18Speaker 2: the brown people that overstay. Right, We're not really talking
- 17:22Speaker 2: about the Europeans that are overstaying. Hey, my heart's with you.
- 17:29Speaker 1: A drug bust in Bethel last night, nine people, most
- 17:36Speaker 1: of which were Vermonors and middle aged Vermonors, cocaine, fentanyl,
- 17:45Speaker 1: Four people from Connecticut I think one of was one
- 17:48Speaker 1: was from Manchester, the other three were from Hartford.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Shocker.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Lots of guns, some homemade firearms also confiscated and Bethel
- 18:00Speaker 1: last night. A grenade launcher. Okay, no, yes, they had
- 18:08Speaker 1: a grenadelach.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Was it a thirty nine millimeter or a forty milimeter?
- 18:13Speaker 2: Well that that makes a huge difference because a thirty
- 18:16Speaker 2: nine millimeter only launches smoke, bird bang stuff like that.
- 18:19Speaker 2: You have to be forty millimeter in order for it
- 18:22Speaker 2: to be an h high tide. I don't know, man,
- 18:24Speaker 2: I don't know. I think that's just kind of a
- 18:26Speaker 2: scare tactic because to get your hands on a forty
- 18:29Speaker 2: millimeter tube grenade launcher, No, it's it's not that easy,
- 18:33Speaker 2: you know.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Let's see, we have a guy named Chris Harper from Burlington,
- 18:39Speaker 1: thirty seven years old. He's been missing since November. They're
- 18:44Speaker 1: on the search for him. I think his last known
- 18:48Speaker 1: whereabouts was in the Johnson or Jeffersonville area. That's in
- 18:53Speaker 1: the news today. We had a huge snowmobill crash in
- 18:56Speaker 1: Morgan last night up in the Northeast Kingdom.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Man, I remember growing up them, so I had friends
- 19:01Speaker 2: of mine that lost. I remember specifically he was a
- 19:05Speaker 2: good friend of mine and him and his sister and
- 19:08Speaker 2: losing his father in a snow machine. Actually really Christmas
- 19:11Speaker 2: Eve Rick cat Rick Choquet from the Rick. Yeah, his
- 19:16Speaker 2: dad died on Christmas Eve when we were kids, on
- 19:18Speaker 2: his horror and he was there. He was there when
- 19:22Speaker 2: it happened. He tried to save his dad's life.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I didn't know any of that.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a horrible situation for them growing up.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Well, this guy was taken to North Country Hospital and
- 19:31Speaker 1: then immediately flown to UVM with real, real serious injuries. Obviously,
- 19:38Speaker 1: if you're flying, you got some.
- 19:41Speaker 2: It's wild because I drive a motorcycle like a fucking maniac,
- 19:46Speaker 2: but snow machines scare the shit out.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I can relate to that. Homeland Security Secretary
- 19:55Speaker 1: Christy no landed at the Northeast Kingdom International Airport two
- 20:01Speaker 1: o'clock yesterday afternoon up here to I guess discuss the
- 20:06Speaker 1: shooting of the US Customs in border agent. Yeah, that
- 20:12Speaker 1: was pretty sad, David Miland I guess you know, there's
- 20:17Speaker 1: obviously a huge investigation that's going on. And Teresa Youngbludd,
- 20:22Speaker 1: who was the female involved in that, in federal court
- 20:26Speaker 1: in Burlington yesterday for a detention hearing, held without bail
- 20:32Speaker 1: or conditions until her next court appearance on February seventh.
- 20:35Speaker 2: That's just crazy.
- 20:36Speaker 1: February seventh, that's a week from today, So we'll see
- 20:39Speaker 1: what happens. We're gonna be We're gonna be watching that.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I'm not down with the Homeland security man. I'm not
- 20:47Speaker 2: down with federal troops at all, to be honest.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Yeah, let's see. Getting a message here from g don't
- 20:54Speaker 1: forget to have Rex address yesterday's comment on him.
- 20:59Speaker 2: What did I miss? Now?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Well, let's see, Well, there were there were a few
- 21:08Speaker 1: comments about you.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Be more specific. I get comments. I get it all
- 21:14Speaker 2: the time.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Gee, uh, you're gonna have to You're gonna have to
- 21:18Speaker 1: refresh me, screenshot me, text me, drop it here in
- 21:23Speaker 1: the comments if you can, you know which, Hey, you.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Like my which comment? Yeah?
- 21:29Speaker 1: Which one? There's so many. I do like your shoes,
- 21:31Speaker 1: You like my vintage shirt?
- 21:32Speaker 2: I like that. I like it. I like it too. Man.
- 21:36Speaker 2: It reminds me of the the food lines, the breadlines
- 21:40Speaker 2: to get your government cheese. I'll never forget them days.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Good times. Good did you?
- 21:48Speaker 1: And and if I've got to, of course I'm going
- 21:51Speaker 1: to read some comments here and and of course I'm
- 21:53Speaker 1: going to get into some other things. But I just
- 21:56Speaker 1: have to ask you, did you did you see Senator Schumer,
- 22:06Speaker 1: you laughed.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I want to talk about these idiots. There's a reason
- 22:11Speaker 2: why they have a twenty one approval.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Senator Schumer said that people are aroused by Trump's policies.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Aroused. You don't believe me, do you know what? Honestly, honestly,
- 22:30Speaker 2: I think he's right. I have one. Have you seen
- 22:33Speaker 2: some of the people defending him. They are absolutely aroused.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I believe they touched themselves every time he speaks.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Go to your local official, your local congressman, or your
- 22:44Speaker 3: local senator, and have them get to the president. But
- 22:47Speaker 3: the roots of democracy are deep. People are aroused. I
- 22:50Speaker 3: haven't seen people so aroused in a very very long
- 22:53Speaker 3: time in terms of going since I'm going to keep
- 23:00Speaker 3: at it, people are aroused. I haven't seen people so
- 23:03Speaker 3: aroused in a very very long time in terms of
- 23:07Speaker 3: going trying to get this done. So yes, I think
- 23:09Speaker 3: democracy will have an effect, and we are going to
- 23:12Speaker 3: keep at it.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Go to your local.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Official, your local congressman, your local center, and have them
- 23:16Speaker 3: get to the president. But the roots of democracy are
- 23:19Speaker 3: I wonder if they.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Know people are a Are you aroused not because of
- 23:25Speaker 2: his speech?
- 23:26Speaker 1: Oh my god, just Honestly.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I don't know how anybody takes any of these guys seriously.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I know, man, I know.
- 23:40Speaker 2: All right. I'm checking my phone here to see if
- 23:42Speaker 2: there's a comment here from g You know what I
- 23:46Speaker 2: saw the other day? I was up because I'm building
- 23:49Speaker 2: a house up on Richardson Road. Have you seen what
- 23:52Speaker 2: the Fectos have done up around there? Ama? The Effectos
- 23:57Speaker 2: are a great family hill. Have you been? Yeah? Jim
- 24:01Speaker 2: and Jason and Victor. And is the wife Dan Dan? Yep? Dan,
- 24:06Speaker 2: Dan's a younger one. I didn't. I worked directly with
- 24:08Speaker 2: Jason a lot, and Jim I went to school with. Yeah.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Now Jason was the youngest one. Dan's the middle one there. Yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 2: But dude, you want to talk about like real American dream,
- 24:21Speaker 2: my family business, everything about there, Their whole family is intertwined.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I like, I idolize those people as my own construction car.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I'm a first generation. They're like second generation, so I'm
- 24:32Speaker 2: first generation. I've always idolized those people. Victor has done.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So much since his seventies.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, that's just such hard. Like when everybody else,
- 24:44Speaker 2: those guys were grinding, working seven days a week, no
- 24:48Speaker 2: matter what the season, no matter what the season was.
- 24:51Speaker 2: They are living proof that hard work pays off. There's
- 24:56Speaker 2: no there's no way around.
- 24:57Speaker 1: They're out there setting homes in in snow and rain
- 25:02Speaker 1: and no matter what.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and they keep the cost down, you know, they
- 25:07Speaker 2: you can, you can get a modular home for a
- 25:11Speaker 2: lesser price so that people can afford to buy them
- 25:15Speaker 2: in their finance programs. That finance really helped their business
- 25:19Speaker 2: a ton, because you never used to be able to
- 25:21Speaker 2: get a finance on a on a manufactured home where
- 25:24Speaker 2: we used to call mobile homes. You could never get
- 25:26Speaker 2: any type of financing it. But those mobile homes are.
- 25:30Speaker 2: They're making it so people can own a home, you.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Know, and not have a huge home that they're struggling
- 25:36Speaker 1: to heat too. You know, you get something that's the
- 25:39Speaker 1: right size for what you got. I mean, if it's
- 25:41Speaker 1: just you and your wife and the dog. You know,
- 25:45Speaker 1: people are going smaller now.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I'm in construction. I've been in construction my whole life,
- 25:50Speaker 2: and I have nothing bad to say about them people.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I think there's some of the greatest people around here.
- 25:55Speaker 2: People at business owners construction guys could learn a ton
- 25:59Speaker 2: from them guys, And you know how they made their business.
- 26:02Speaker 2: That's my whole business model and family is based on them,
- 26:06Speaker 2: believe it or not, because their whole everything there there.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I don't want to say their compound, but they they
- 26:12Speaker 2: took advantage. They they they used the property that they
- 26:15Speaker 2: own to to build for their own family, Their families lived.
- 26:19Speaker 2: What a passionate about. Yeah, dude, they've kept their family together.
- 26:25Speaker 2: And by keeping their family together, they sent each one
- 26:27Speaker 2: of their kids to college to learn a certain part
- 26:30Speaker 2: of their business. Yeah, and it's boomed their business.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Brilliant.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah, dude.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Charylyn and I were just over there a couple of
- 26:39Speaker 1: saturdays ago, walking walking through some of the modular homes.
- 26:43Speaker 1: They're gorgeous.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Oh my god. Yeah, I mean I because yeah, I don't.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I just honestly do not walk through those anymore because
- 26:55Speaker 2: they can basically get anybody financed, yes, and I end up.
- 27:00Speaker 2: It's the same reason I don't walk into Wilkins anymore,
- 27:02Speaker 2: because I always end up with a brand new Hireley
- 27:04Speaker 2: every time I leave there.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, right.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I haven't been down to Wilkins at over a year
- 27:09Speaker 2: because the last time I was down there cost me
- 27:11Speaker 2: sixty grand.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Listen, I want to read something from a business owner,
- 27:17Speaker 1: a business owner right here in Barry that I saw.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I saw it yesterday and I'm like, I just got
- 27:28Speaker 1: to read this on the air. I mean, this is
- 27:32Speaker 1: this sums it up right here? Are you ready?
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yes?
- 27:39Speaker 1: And I'll tell you who it is after I read it.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It says my heart goes out to the people who
- 27:44Speaker 1: lost loved ones in the horrible plane crash. It literally
- 27:49Speaker 1: makes me sick.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I'll tell you about that.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I have also seen some friends on Facebook today that
- 27:55Speaker 1: are grieving the loss of a friend from right here
- 28:01Speaker 1: in our backyard in an unrelated incident. I'm sorry for
- 28:06Speaker 1: your loss and that you are hurting too. I genuinely
- 28:12Speaker 1: wish that we could all take a minute to realize
- 28:18Speaker 1: why we are friends here in the first place, and
- 28:22Speaker 1: recognize that life is just too short. Lastly, I understand
- 28:27Speaker 1: the last several years of our lives have been difficult,
- 28:32Speaker 1: with global pandemics, floods, losses, and chaotic politics. I have
- 28:40Speaker 1: never seen more hatred than I have in the last
- 28:45Speaker 1: in the last couple of years, and regardless of your
- 28:49Speaker 1: political position, I can wrap my head around how we
- 28:55Speaker 1: make it look like it's each other's fault. I have
- 29:00Speaker 1: said it a million times over the years. There are
- 29:04Speaker 1: no art. There are so many positive things that we
- 29:09Speaker 1: can be doing right here in our own communities, things,
- 29:17Speaker 1: things we can actually accomplish and see the results. I know,
- 29:29Speaker 1: as far as me, I can believe this is the
- 29:33Speaker 1: same I can't believe this is the same city I
- 29:37Speaker 1: grew up in. It's entirely different. A lot of great
- 29:43Speaker 1: things have happened and are happening. But it used to
- 29:47Speaker 1: be just so kind and so safe. What it's used
- 29:54Speaker 1: to be. What it's so easy to be helpful, kind
- 30:02Speaker 1: and thoughtful. It's obviously your right to say what you
- 30:08Speaker 1: want to say here, but I encourage you to recognize
- 30:13Speaker 1: most of the stuff is just not helping anyone. It's
- 30:18Speaker 1: just hurtful and it causes angst. Signed Rich mcsheffery.
- 30:32Speaker 2: I got no comment. I got no fucking comment. Okay,
- 30:36Speaker 2: I don't want to know what I really think.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Well, you've known Rich for a long time.
- 30:39Speaker 4: I have.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I'm that okay. So first of all, that Rich is
- 30:48Speaker 2: a little bit younger than I. That resonated with me. Bro.
- 30:51Speaker 2: There was a time in Berry City we weren't even
- 30:55Speaker 2: allowed to walk down fucking Berry City. There were stabbings
- 30:59Speaker 2: there used to be a little arcade right underneath Planet
- 31:01Speaker 2: Rock out there. It's now a strip club. There was
- 31:03Speaker 2: stabbings out there. There was people that got murdered at
- 31:08Speaker 2: the school. Bizarre. I mean, we have never What is
- 31:13Speaker 2: our leadership doing to bring us together. You can do
- 31:16Speaker 2: these posts and everything else, but when you have from
- 31:18Speaker 2: the top down dividing us, you can make all them
- 31:22Speaker 2: posts all you want, but it doesn't it's not resonating.
- 31:28Speaker 2: We've never been nice to each other in Berry City.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I don't know where that comes from. That has never
- 31:34Speaker 2: been Remember Richie, Remember when we used to have like
- 31:38Speaker 2: fights among schools, Remember the fights at the school. What
- 31:42Speaker 2: has changed is the drug problem, the violence problem. It's
- 31:46Speaker 2: now no longer fist to cuffs. I remember getting my
- 31:49Speaker 2: ass beat right on main Street because they had all
- 31:51Speaker 2: those people sitting on welfare wall. Remember that, Yeah, I
- 31:55Speaker 2: remember them things growing up. I don't know, man, I
- 32:02Speaker 2: don't know. I think now everybody wants to well, let's
- 32:05Speaker 2: just be peaceful, and said we have not been peaceful
- 32:08Speaker 2: for eight years to our neighbors. We haven't. We've said
- 32:13Speaker 2: the most vile things. Our leaders have said the most
- 32:17Speaker 2: vile things. It is now if you're not on their side,
- 32:21Speaker 2: you're the enemy. Where does this come? At? What point?
- 32:26Speaker 2: We can't do it? We can't do it from the
- 32:27Speaker 2: bottom up. Has nobody realized that you can say anything
- 32:33Speaker 2: you want but the bottom. We are at the bottom.
- 32:35Speaker 2: We have no power. Those people that are spending billions
- 32:38Speaker 2: of dollars to be on the television every single day
- 32:41Speaker 2: to pick on the people that lost the that lost
- 32:44Speaker 2: an election, to pick on the people that don't support them,
- 32:48Speaker 2: seventy three million people. How do you do that? You
- 32:54Speaker 2: can make every you can make all these posts, but
- 32:56Speaker 2: the reality is we don't have leaders bringing us together.
- 32:59Speaker 2: There's not one leader in our community. There's not one
- 33:03Speaker 2: leader nationally that's asking to bring us together. They're all
- 33:08Speaker 2: wanting to win the fight, and the people that are
- 33:11Speaker 2: gonna pay the price of that winning is us. Basically,
- 33:16Speaker 2: they want to shut the losers up. Shut the fuck up, loser,
- 33:20Speaker 2: it's my way. Now have we not seen this for
- 33:23Speaker 2: like a week? It's I wan too fucking bad? Wait,
- 33:28Speaker 2: what happened to the days we're knowing? What happened to that? Like, Hey,
- 33:31Speaker 2: where's the Abraham Lincoln? Where are these guys bringing people together?
- 33:34Speaker 2: Did you know in Germany right now they're having protests
- 33:38Speaker 2: of over fifty There was one hundred thousand people yesterday
- 33:41Speaker 2: protesting for America, protesting for US around Europe. They are
- 33:47Speaker 2: fucking protesting for US, for our human rights, just for decency.
- 33:53Speaker 2: We don't have it. There's no decency. We are now empowered,
- 33:58Speaker 2: We are now empowered to do pace the shit things.
- 34:01Speaker 2: We have a president that just released fifteen hundred domestic
- 34:05Speaker 2: terrorists and then took the security away from every single
- 34:09Speaker 2: person they're hunting. And then you want to talk about decency. Wow,
- 34:15Speaker 2: that wound me out, man. I think.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I understand what you're saying.
- 34:23Speaker 2: That bothers me. I think we lost all human decency.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I think rich is at least my takeaway from it.
- 34:33Speaker 1: And again that when I saw that last night, restonated
- 34:36Speaker 1: with me.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Man.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I think his point is to take a deep breath
- 34:45Speaker 1: before you become a keyboard pirate and start spewing off
- 34:50Speaker 1: all this.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Absolutely, I've had to get away from I find myself.
- 34:53Speaker 2: I get really really And that's a lot. That's a
- 34:56Speaker 2: thing that we'll talk about later is about you know,
- 34:58Speaker 2: mental health, trauma and sit and emotional responses. And that's
- 35:02Speaker 2: the thing that's how our politics are being run right
- 35:05Speaker 2: now is through emotional response. That's it. It's not about policy,
- 35:11Speaker 2: it's not about anything. It's about getting that emotional response
- 35:13Speaker 2: to keep you fucking divided. Can you imagine if we
- 35:19Speaker 2: had a leader that said, hey, wait a minute, let's
- 35:21Speaker 2: sit down with the left and the right and come
- 35:24Speaker 2: up with a plan. I want to fill my cabinet
- 35:26Speaker 2: with both. I still don't even think that'll work. By
- 35:29Speaker 2: this point, we're down to two parties.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Becky is saying that you're obviously quite aroused right now.
- 35:39Speaker 1: G says, it's all about the politician's ego and their opinion,
- 35:44Speaker 1: not about their constituents.
- 35:48Speaker 2: How does a billionaire relate to me that's never had
- 35:51Speaker 2: to struggle? How do you come up with policy? You
- 35:56Speaker 2: now have an entire Our entire cabinet is full of
- 36:01Speaker 2: just un full of billionaires that are going to tell
- 36:07Speaker 2: me how to live my life that they've never struggled before.
- 36:11Speaker 2: What do you think about this comment from G saying
- 36:14Speaker 2: politicians are causing mental health through making people depressed and
- 36:19Speaker 2: worried in unsafe Yep, the chaos, I believe that.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Constant says.
- 36:25Speaker 2: And money. We don't have the money to fight these
- 36:30Speaker 2: people anymore. Elon Musk spent two hundred and seventeen million
- 36:37Speaker 2: dollars to get Donald Trump elected. He made two hundred
- 36:42Speaker 2: and seventeen billion the day he was elected, peddling influence
- 36:47Speaker 2: that man so that he can he can absolutely influence.
- 36:53Speaker 2: He has so much money to influence elections all over
- 36:55Speaker 2: the world. He's in Germany right now trying to influence.
- 37:00Speaker 2: It's the alt right in Germany. They're starting. They want
- 37:04Speaker 2: to prosecute him in Germany because of his influence in
- 37:07Speaker 2: the elections, and we allow it. We allow it. You
- 37:11Speaker 2: know why we allow it because it's that's our team,
- 37:15Speaker 2: that's our side. We don't care as long as it's
- 37:18Speaker 2: our side, our team. We don't care about egg prices
- 37:22Speaker 2: that are not going down right now. We don't care
- 37:24Speaker 2: about grocery prices because our team's in charge now, So
- 37:27Speaker 2: it does none of That's all the stuff that mattered
- 37:30Speaker 2: before the election. Now notice it no longer matters. It
- 37:34Speaker 2: just doesn't. Our team won, so those things are no
- 37:38Speaker 2: longer relevant. Instead, the Gulf of America is relevant, Invading
- 37:43Speaker 2: Greenland is relevant. Taking over the Panama Canal because you
- 37:46Speaker 2: owe taxes to Panama is relevant. That's gonna help. How
- 37:53Speaker 2: is any of that helping the average American? Going and
- 37:56Speaker 2: ripping kids out of schools? And instead of taking the
- 38:01Speaker 2: illegal immigrants, the thirty thousand illegal immigrants in our federal
- 38:05Speaker 2: prisons that we're paying for every day in a private prison. Oh,
- 38:10Speaker 2: I know we make money off those private prisons, don't we.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Why would we send those people back? We're making money
- 38:17Speaker 2: off of them. I don't know, man, Like I said,
- 38:23Speaker 2: and I really do. And I one admit I have
- 38:28Speaker 2: a skewed view of those people. I have a biased
- 38:31Speaker 2: view of those people because I have a certain compassion
- 38:34Speaker 2: and I have a certain humanity that I feel towards
- 38:38Speaker 2: those people, living with them and seeing what they went
- 38:40Speaker 2: through and fighting alongside of them. I just I have
- 38:44Speaker 2: a difference. So one percent, please, I am biased.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Uh And this is based on your my own personal
- 38:53Speaker 1: experience watching those people die in those kinds in the military.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, I can remember being I can where uh
- 39:01Speaker 2: El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras. I've been to Bogada, Columbia.
- 39:05Speaker 2: I've been to so many of these Southern and South
- 39:09Speaker 2: American countries. And if you ever saw the way these
- 39:13Speaker 2: people live in these mud huts. Things have gotten better
- 39:16Speaker 2: things It's been a long time. Things have gotten better
- 39:19Speaker 2: for them, but compared to what we have here. And
- 39:23Speaker 2: they are some of the hardest work in motherfuckers you've
- 39:25Speaker 2: ever met. They really are you, You and I. They
- 39:31Speaker 2: just want for their family.
- 39:32Speaker 1: We had a conversation the other day. I was suddenly
- 39:35Speaker 1: talking about all of this and you called in. We
- 39:43Speaker 1: were talking about affordable housing here and you called in
- 39:48Speaker 1: and you had some really.
- 39:52Speaker 2: So the thing is, I'm not an expert in any field,
- 39:55Speaker 2: but all I can go by is my own perspective.
- 39:57Speaker 2: That's all we all can go by is our own
- 39:59Speaker 2: perspec at inexperience.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Are you entitled to your own perspective? I'man.
- 40:04Speaker 2: I mean I'm entitled to it, of course. But I
- 40:06Speaker 2: think what lacks in conversation between people is not is
- 40:11Speaker 2: the inability to view another perspective. So you can have
- 40:17Speaker 2: an argument. I can have an argument. I can say
- 40:20Speaker 2: this is why I feel this way because of this perspective.
- 40:25Speaker 2: But also I have the ability to have empathy and
- 40:28Speaker 2: realize somebody else and just try to put myself in
- 40:31Speaker 2: somebody else's shoes. We say this all the time, but
- 40:34Speaker 2: we never do walk a mile in my shoes. We
- 40:37Speaker 2: say this, we say this to our kids, but we
- 40:39Speaker 2: ignore it as adults. Do we really ever try to
- 40:43Speaker 2: understand somebody else's perspective? Like you know what, like the
- 40:51Speaker 2: whole BLM thing back in the day, This will really
- 40:54Speaker 2: get people. But I wanted to try to understand that
- 40:59Speaker 2: sot that that side of it. Why there was so
- 41:03Speaker 2: many people that were so upset, Why what was going on?
- 41:07Speaker 2: Why people were raging in the streets over their civil rights?
- 41:13Speaker 2: I don't know. I think if more people could sit
- 41:16Speaker 2: down and just try to understand another the opposite side
- 41:20Speaker 2: of the perspective, Yeah, I think that's what really is.
- 41:25Speaker 1: I think, and I don't want to speak for Rich mccheffrey,
- 41:30Speaker 1: but I think the sentiment behind his post was that
- 41:35Speaker 1: we need to spend more time listening to each other.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we have to try to understand each other, but
- 41:41Speaker 2: that has to start at the top. And it's not
- 41:46Speaker 2: Rich can can do that post. But and you can
- 41:48Speaker 2: say that, but it's not happening. He has a limited audience.
- 41:53Speaker 2: When you have guys spending two hundred million dollars to
- 41:57Speaker 2: be on fucking TV, how do you compete with that?
- 42:01Speaker 1: I understand. I understand.
- 42:04Speaker 2: It's a basic propaganda.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Rich is also saying that it has to start at
- 42:08Speaker 1: a you say, it has to start at the stop
- 42:12Speaker 1: at the top. He's saying in the meanwhile, let's just
- 42:15Speaker 1: all just try really.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Are beyond that, dude. I don't know, man, And I
- 42:22Speaker 2: know why he's saying that, because he won. His side won,
- 42:26Speaker 2: and that's what it is. Now they want now there.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Now there's a few of them that they're like, oh,
- 42:30Speaker 2: that's all peace and love. No, you can't fucking do that.
- 42:33Speaker 2: You've been telling us for four years, just the most violent,
- 42:38Speaker 2: hateful ship.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Speaking of both sides. Yeah, and speaking of of you know,
- 42:46Speaker 1: we're trying to put out a message here of of
- 42:48Speaker 1: of positivity and most importantly connectivity, listening to each other,
- 42:54Speaker 1: being kind, yep, being respectful. And and with that said,
- 43:00Speaker 1: why you know, I would love to invite John on
- 43:06Speaker 1: the air because I don't know what this is. John
- 43:10Speaker 1: Anderson saying he just posted a comment saying, soak soak
- 43:15Speaker 1: it up. Rex Tampon Thompson, you buy ads.
- 43:23Speaker 2: He doesn't, So we'll talk. John has some serious mental issues. Uh,
- 43:29Speaker 2: something's going on with him, and I don't I really
- 43:32Speaker 2: I troll him a little bit, and I should absolutely
- 43:34Speaker 2: stop with that. That's my own five. I brought that on.
- 43:38Speaker 2: I heard a quote there not too long ago, and
- 43:41Speaker 2: it made fucking sense. Never offend a coward, be a man.
- 43:49Speaker 2: If you offend a man, most of the time they'll
- 43:52Speaker 2: stand up to you, or they'll say something. A coward
- 43:55Speaker 2: will not. A coward will not come to you face
- 43:58Speaker 2: to face. A coward will do anything to win, so
- 44:01Speaker 2: you always have to watch your back. A coward'll stab you.
- 44:04Speaker 2: A coward will cause violence, a man won't. A righteous
- 44:08Speaker 2: person won't. So be careful when you offend a coward
- 44:12Speaker 2: because that's what it turns into. What it turns into
- 44:15Speaker 2: is stopping comments on a page so you can get
- 44:18Speaker 2: your side of it out. They're relentless with this. They don't.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Just don't offend a coward. It's not worth it that
- 44:26Speaker 2: you could lose your life offending a coward because they're
- 44:30Speaker 2: a coward. John strikes me as a person like a coward.
- 44:36Speaker 2: And I hate to say that because and I don't
- 44:38Speaker 2: even know. I don't know because I don't know the guy,
- 44:41Speaker 2: I really really don't, but he's obsessed with me, and
- 44:44Speaker 2: I get it. Whatever. It's usually the ladies. But yeah, yeah.
- 44:53Speaker 1: I don't know what that's all about.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I don't, you know, honestly, I don't. I made a
- 44:58Speaker 2: comment because.
- 44:59Speaker 1: So, I mean, we were you know, is is this?
- 45:04Speaker 1: Is this a joke that that he wants to go
- 45:06Speaker 1: hand in hand with you?
- 45:08Speaker 2: I viewed it as a joke. I don't believe he does.
- 45:12Speaker 2: I think he has some serious mental issues, got it.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I would break him in two. That's why I don't
- 45:18Speaker 2: entertain his ship. If he ever showed up, you know,
- 45:21Speaker 2: one percent, I would, I wouldn't violently hurt that little man.
- 45:26Speaker 2: I we could put gloves on and have a controlled session.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I'd like to No, no, we could put gloves on
- 45:36Speaker 2: because he's not a grappler. I'm a grappler. I grapple,
- 45:39Speaker 2: So I would go. He's supposedly a ninja or something
- 45:42Speaker 2: from what he said there. So, I mean, I don't know.
- 45:47Speaker 2: But anyway, he's a little man. I don't. So I've
- 45:50Speaker 2: had to start viewing these people the same way. Somebody
- 45:55Speaker 2: asked me this the other day. There was a big
- 45:56Speaker 2: thing and it was going on, and they said, this
- 45:59Speaker 2: man respected me, and you're a man. So if you're
- 46:02Speaker 2: gonna disrespect me, You're gonna you have to face the consequences,
- 46:05Speaker 2: which are getting beat up. My problem is there's a
- 46:11Speaker 2: lot of people I could beat up just to win
- 46:12Speaker 2: an argument. Did I really win the argument? My eye?
- 46:17Speaker 2: So I've started viewing them the same way that I
- 46:19Speaker 2: would view like my three year old toddler niece. She
- 46:22Speaker 2: could say off the wall, wild fucking things to me,
- 46:26Speaker 2: and am I gonna beat her up? Absolutely not. My
- 46:29Speaker 2: wife can say shit to me, Do I beat her up? No?
- 46:33Speaker 1: John saying you're the one starting ship with me, You're
- 46:37Speaker 1: you're the one threatening to come to my house.
- 46:39Speaker 2: I'd never threatened to go to his work to beat him.
- 46:42Speaker 2: I'd have never met the guy he wanted to do.
- 46:45Speaker 2: That was a joke, though. Yeah, he's a clown, dude,
- 46:49Speaker 2: he's been a clown. He's on there.
- 46:50Speaker 1: He's on as if you're gonna as if you're gonna
- 46:53Speaker 1: go to someone's business and beat them up.
- 46:56Speaker 2: That's not the kind of game, you know what. I fight.
- 46:58Speaker 2: I either fight in gym, I fight in the cage,
- 47:02Speaker 2: or I will or I would defend myself some little
- 47:06Speaker 2: one hundred pound clown online. Absolutely not. I view him
- 47:10Speaker 2: the same as my three year old toddler niece. He
- 47:13Speaker 2: means nothing to me. He can't do anything about it.
- 47:17Speaker 1: What if it's John and I both taking you on?
- 47:21Speaker 2: Do I have one arm tie behind my back or both?
- 47:25Speaker 2: I think both of you together don't weigh as much
- 47:28Speaker 2: as I do. I mean, but really, really, I I
- 47:33Speaker 2: don't want to entertaining that because I honestly feel he
- 47:35Speaker 2: has mental issues. And I think at this point it's
- 47:38Speaker 2: just I'm now being a douchebag by contributing to that.
- 47:44Speaker 2: At first I thought it was funny, but now I
- 47:46Speaker 2: really think he has serious mental issues because he did
- 47:49Speaker 2: a big post claiming that he's this big coder and
- 47:53Speaker 2: he knows so much about this and and so I
- 47:55Speaker 2: took that post in that picture, and I sent it
- 47:57Speaker 2: to a friend of mine, and my friend, who used
- 48:00Speaker 2: to be a real coder, got hired by the NSA
- 48:04Speaker 2: and he works for them, and he he does things
- 48:07Speaker 2: for them for computers. And he looked at that in
- 48:10Speaker 2: his exact words were John Anderson's delusional. So it was
- 48:17Speaker 2: at that point I realized he had some real mental issues.
- 48:23Speaker 2: And I just as a man, we deal with a
- 48:27Speaker 2: lot of mental issues on our own. And I have
- 48:30Speaker 2: mental issues. I have. I have issues that I deal
- 48:33Speaker 2: with myself.
- 48:34Speaker 1: But who who honestly, who doesn't? I mean, who doesn't?
- 48:40Speaker 2: And I just I don't want to talk about mental
- 48:43Speaker 2: issues and then troll a guy that has mental issues,
- 48:48Speaker 2: you know what I mean. That's that's kind of like
- 48:50Speaker 2: piece of shit right there. And I don't want to
- 48:53Speaker 2: be that piece of shit. So I'm gonna leave John alone.
- 48:56Speaker 2: If he really wants to get some rounds in, I would,
- 48:59Speaker 2: on a I would teach him how to fight if
- 49:01Speaker 2: he needed to, because he seems like a little fella
- 49:03Speaker 2: and he has a lot of mental listeners and I
- 49:05Speaker 2: imagine he he folks with a lot of people. Yeah,
- 49:08Speaker 2: so we probably I don't know, man.
- 49:12Speaker 1: I got a uh, got a midweek ripe left over
- 49:17Speaker 1: from Wednesday that's skipped by me that I would love
- 49:20Speaker 1: to hear what you have to say about this, and
- 49:23Speaker 1: and and anyone else. Got an email here says we
- 49:29Speaker 1: pay for streaming services like Roku. Why isn't it that
- 49:36Speaker 1: we are Why is it that we're already paying to
- 49:43Speaker 1: have the service? So why do we have to pay
- 49:47Speaker 1: to watch a movie? I got a thing on Netflix
- 49:54Speaker 1: that says that we're we were looking up a movie
- 50:00Speaker 1: and it says that you have to upgrade to the
- 50:05Speaker 1: the no ad streaming package on Netflix, which was six
- 50:14Speaker 1: ninety nine a month, and now it's Netflix has gone up.
- 50:17Speaker 1: That was in the news last week. But this is
- 50:23Speaker 1: a movie that was this this individual saying was has
- 50:28Speaker 1: been out for like thirty years, twenty six years, and
- 50:33Speaker 1: now they've got to pay to be able to watch
- 50:39Speaker 1: a movie that's that old. They have to upgrade their
- 50:42Speaker 1: their Netflix package to the next level.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Oh, Mike, are they bitching about capitalism? I mean, Roku's
- 50:53Speaker 2: a business. They found a way to make money up.
- 50:55Speaker 2: You don't like it, don't buy it? Yeah, I don't
- 50:56Speaker 2: know what it's like.
- 50:57Speaker 1: You want to watch a movie that's twenty five thirty
- 50:59Speaker 1: years old? Do you get to pay for it?
- 51:00Speaker 2: Now? Who's you know? What you should do? You should
- 51:05Speaker 2: contact your senator and representative and you should make them
- 51:08Speaker 2: come up with a loss so they can't do that.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Or Yeah, I don't. I don't know, man, I'm not
- 51:17Speaker 2: an expert on Roku. I just know that that's part
- 51:20Speaker 2: of capitalism. It's part about making money. Yeah, it's a business.
- 51:23Speaker 1: It's it is a business. It is a business. But
- 51:28Speaker 1: you know, my god, I mean, whatever happened in the
- 51:33Speaker 1: days where we could just go watch an old movie
- 51:35Speaker 1: that's been sitting around for a little while.
- 51:37Speaker 2: We didn't. We had to pay cable fee, we had
- 51:40Speaker 2: to buy individual stations, and then those individual stations we
- 51:44Speaker 2: had to pay pay per view. Nothing has changed, only
- 51:46Speaker 2: the name. It went from Spectrum to Roku. What has
- 51:50Speaker 2: changed Roku? Just feil And it is funny because all
- 51:56Speaker 2: they did was take the cable business model and call
- 51:59Speaker 2: it Roku. Yeah remember that, remember back in the day
- 52:03Speaker 2: when you first got cable, you got had all those stations,
- 52:07Speaker 2: and then they were like, wait a minute, we can
- 52:08Speaker 2: make more money if we take out max Abo. We
- 52:12Speaker 2: could take out all these and start selling them back
- 52:14Speaker 2: to you as packages. Ye Netflix, they all did the
- 52:17Speaker 2: same thing, same exact business model.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Amazing.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, that would be a great I mean,
- 52:23Speaker 2: is that is that?
- 52:24Speaker 1: All it is? Is just simple capitalism?
- 52:27Speaker 2: I don't know. I guess that's my perspective. That's how
- 52:30Speaker 2: I view it. How but how do you? I mean,
- 52:33Speaker 2: you can bitch about it about what can you do
- 52:35Speaker 2: about it? Now? That's until somebody else comes along with
- 52:40Speaker 2: a different program and says, hey, we'll do it cheaper
- 52:42Speaker 2: this way. Yeah, and then they'll get greedy and they'll
- 52:46Speaker 2: figure out how to break it apart and make more money.
- 52:49Speaker 1: What do you what do you think about the the
- 52:51Speaker 1: Monday after the super Bowl? Should that be a holiday?
- 52:57Speaker 2: Yes? Really? Yes?
- 53:00Speaker 1: Do you think?
- 53:01Speaker 2: I just remember being in the army and that was
- 53:03Speaker 2: the day they would wake your eye. They would tell
- 53:06Speaker 2: you you're like, you're off. We understand it's super Bowl
- 53:10Speaker 2: Sunday and Monday, you are off. They would wake our
- 53:13Speaker 2: ass up at four point thirty in the morning in
- 53:15Speaker 2: piss test. Wow. Oh, I hated that. You just had
- 53:19Speaker 2: to plan on it.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Do you think there should be a presidential executive order
- 53:26Speaker 1: stating that the Monday after the super Bowl is a holiday.
- 53:33Speaker 2: I don't believe in presidential executive orders at all. I
- 53:37Speaker 2: think they circumvent our legislative system. I think it. I
- 53:43Speaker 2: don't like the power that it gives an individual. So no, no,
- 53:50Speaker 2: I don't agree with that all right.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Forty percent, according to a new study, say that the
- 53:56Speaker 1: Monday after the super Bowl is the worst Monday of
- 54:01Speaker 1: their entire year back at work, the worst.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Why why? So you know?
- 54:09Speaker 1: And I got into this discussion yesterday with a friend.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Why can't the super Bowl be on a Saturday? Why
- 54:17Speaker 1: can't it be on a Saturday night? I don't know, seriously,
- 54:20Speaker 1: what is it is? What is it about that that
- 54:23Speaker 1: it can't be a Saturday. No, I don't hockey is
- 54:26Speaker 1: Sunday night.
- 54:27Speaker 2: I don't follow hockey. I could. I couldn't tell you that.
- 54:30Speaker 2: You'd have to get some some hockey expert in here
- 54:32Speaker 2: to tell you all about it.
- 54:34Speaker 1: So you're not going to be watching the super Bowl?
- 54:36Speaker 2: Uh? You know? I probably will all start at fall
- 54:40Speaker 2: asleep and wake up for the end of it. Okay,
- 54:43Speaker 2: that's normally what I do, same thing I used to
- 54:44Speaker 2: do for the Daytona five hundred. I've watched the first
- 54:48Speaker 2: ten laps, fall asleep and wake up for the last four.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, and that what all old people do. Amazing Ecuador. Yes,
- 55:00Speaker 1: King is serving donut burgers.
- 55:05Speaker 2: Bro, I was in al Salvade.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Have you seen the pictures of this donut burger from
- 55:11Speaker 1: Burger King? No, Oh my god, it's the most disgusting thing.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Bro. Those countries, a lot of those, a lot of
- 55:20Speaker 2: the Oh you think that's a bad thing.
- 55:23Speaker 1: I think that's a bad I.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Would totally eat that and I feel my arteries claw.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, sweet and salt at the same time. You know,
- 55:37Speaker 2: the worst part is that's probably like a five star
- 55:40Speaker 2: restaurant in those countries. I was in El Salvador. I
- 55:44Speaker 2: shit you not. We were like, oh my god, I
- 55:46Speaker 2: hadn't had pizza in almost a year, and we we
- 55:49Speaker 2: were in I was just doing some things in El
- 55:52Speaker 2: Salvador and uh we just we saw a pizza hut.
- 55:55Speaker 2: I was like, oh fuck, yeah, we're going to a
- 55:57Speaker 2: pizza And now I remember walking in there. I had
- 55:59Speaker 2: my shoe it's on, and a do rag on my head,
- 56:02Speaker 2: and everybody was all dressed up inside of this pizza
- 56:06Speaker 2: eating pizzas with knives and fork. They looked at us
- 56:09Speaker 2: like we were savages.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it was really weird to see those as like
- 56:14Speaker 2: a real restaurant.
- 56:16Speaker 1: But there's some wacked out shit going on in other
- 56:19Speaker 1: countries with US national franchises. I mean, I don't know
- 56:25Speaker 1: how in China, look what they're doing. Who would want
- 56:31Speaker 1: to put some burgers in between some glazed donuts. But
- 56:38Speaker 1: now I'm saying, yeah, I think it's the sweet and salty.
- 56:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna have big Kenny on here. Next week.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Big Kenny's giving me a shout out this morning.
- 56:50Speaker 2: He'll be because I'm gonna be at the fights with Sofia.
- 56:55Speaker 2: So Sofia's fighting next week down in New Hampshire for
- 56:58Speaker 2: a combat zone for Calvin Cator.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Okay, so she's.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Fighting down there, that'll be. That's our whole team will
- 57:03Speaker 2: be down there. Yeah, that's what we're gonna do that,
- 57:07Speaker 2: I think when they come back. Lucas is also he's
- 57:09Speaker 2: setting up so our self defense course went great. There
- 57:14Speaker 2: was so many people inside of there. Lucas ended up
- 57:17Speaker 2: getting sick. Me and Sophia taught it.
- 57:20Speaker 1: Well, everybody's got the flu now, Yeah.
- 57:22Speaker 2: It was. It was horrible there for a little bit.
- 57:24Speaker 2: But bro, you should have seen their faces when Sofia
- 57:28Speaker 2: was doing these super dynamic throws on me. I was
- 57:32Speaker 2: launched into the air so she kicked. Yeah. No, it
- 57:36Speaker 2: was great because we did that. We wanted to show
- 57:38Speaker 2: people that with training, even one hundred and thirty five
- 57:41Speaker 2: pound female can toss around at two hundred pund man.
- 57:45Speaker 2: The little old lady that was there, she was like,
- 57:47Speaker 2: how the hell did she just get you so high
- 57:49Speaker 2: in the air. That was like because she understands where
- 57:53Speaker 2: hips need debate, she understands body mechanics stuff like that.
- 57:57Speaker 2: So with such a huge response, Lucas has been like
- 58:02Speaker 2: trying to uh, thinking of things to do with his facility.
- 58:07Speaker 2: And the first thing that he's gonna do is he's
- 58:08Speaker 2: gonna do another women's only self defense, right, so watch
- 58:12Speaker 2: the page. He'll announce that because we had so many
- 58:15Speaker 2: people ask for a women's only, so he he heard
- 58:18Speaker 2: them and he's going to do that for them. They
- 58:21Speaker 2: were so excited over the over it, so that he
- 58:26Speaker 2: will be doing that. The other thing that he's trying
- 58:28Speaker 2: to do is when he has not picked the date
- 58:31Speaker 2: because he's got to get through Sophia's fight, so it'll
- 58:34Speaker 2: probably be like two weeks after Sophia. I'm assuming, I
- 58:37Speaker 2: don't know he hasn't picked the date. Just follow granted
- 58:39Speaker 2: City MM and the Facebook page so that you can
- 58:42Speaker 2: see it all right. So the other thing that he's
- 58:47Speaker 2: thinking of doing because he has such a beautiful facility
- 58:50Speaker 2: is he's been trying to hook up with the Berrytown
- 58:52Speaker 2: Police Department because we would like to do a something
- 58:57Speaker 2: that has to do with with keeping the commune unity safe,
- 59:01Speaker 2: and that is safe gun handling for kids. Wo Yeah,
- 59:06Speaker 2: because the NRA puts out a really great Eddie the
- 59:10Speaker 2: Eagle program for kids on what happens if you if
- 59:14Speaker 2: you're at somebody's house and you come across the gun.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 59:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about safety and stuff like that. So we
- 59:25Speaker 2: would love to I know Lucas would love to have
- 59:28Speaker 2: the law enforcement guys there in Berrytown to get with
- 59:32Speaker 2: him if they see this okay, so that we can
- 59:34Speaker 2: come up with a gun safety program. And we'd like
- 59:37Speaker 2: to do it on a regular basis so all the
- 59:39Speaker 2: kids are able to come in and see this, and
- 59:42Speaker 2: we'd love for the law enforcement people to teach that
- 59:45Speaker 2: part of it.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Here's the issue me, You're an issue.
- 59:55Speaker 2: I am absolutely an issue. And so this is where
- 59:59Speaker 2: the mental help thing comes in. Everybody looks at me
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: and they're like, ah, what a fucking you know. I've
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: had people that were envious of me, and that blows
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: my mind. I'm like, I don't know what you're envious
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: of me from. I mean, if you saw inside my head,
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: you would not be envious. So my as a child,
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: I was horribly abused. I was sexually assaulted, I was molested,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: I was beaten, I was physically and emotionally abused. My
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: parents at a young age decided to they needed a babysitter,
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: so they fostered a teenage boy that was molesting kids
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: and they made him my babysitter. So that's where it started,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: and then it throughout my whole life, there's always been
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: severe trauma and I never knew it was like a trauma.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: I never knew, like my father being blested by a
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: grown man and beat me up because he refused to
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: have a faggot in his house.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: So we're about to get deep here here. I am
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: thinking that we were just wrapping things up. But wow, yeah,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: so there was that throughout my life. So I have
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: been everything I've dealt with.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Has been dealing with like emotional responses. So I'd been
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: a piece of shit to the cops around here locally.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: So this is things that I have to work through.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Had nothing to do with them. It had to do
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: with my own problem with authority. It's my own problem
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: with my own childhood, my own mental issues that I had,
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: And I never realized I had mental issues, didn't know.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: I thought I was just a normal person. I didn't
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: understand that that rage where that rage came from, and
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: there's never anybody to talk to. There really is. And
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: I went to a psychiatrist when my doctor sent me
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: to a psychiatrist. And because my wife found out that
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: I think about suicide, she's like, oh fuck, I never
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: knew that. Why why would you know that? I don't.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I would never tell anyone that that's my that's me so,
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: and if I want to do it, that's that's my choice.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: I don't. There's nobody saying I have to stay on
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: this planet. So they sent me to a psychiatrist, and
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: his focus was on how many guns I had and
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: what my plan was to stay safe. I was so
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: disconnected from that motherfucker, just like any other veteran. I
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: don't want to talk to anybody now. I don't want
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: to talk to you. I don't want to talk to
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: a professional when you're hyper focused on my guns. I
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: don't care that. Leave me to fuck alone, because my
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: biggest fear is they're going to take my guns. They're
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: gonna put me in a mental institution with padded walls
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: and feed me a bunch of fucking drugs to where
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: I don't know my own mind, who, I don't know
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: who I am that's that's a real fear. That's a
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: real fear for a lot of us. But parents, you
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: don't understand what you do to a child when they're
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: developing and you abuse them, the screaming at them, the
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: beating of them, and I didn't you know, it really
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: hit me after Mama died. That was a big that
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: was a huge mental thing for me.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: And that happened. Yeah, not too long ago when m
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: A couple of years ago. No, it's been about a
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: year now, Okay, Wow, I thought it was more like two.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, okay, it's been there, so uh mental that's
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: why mental health man against guys. We have known to
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: talk to you like I'm not going to get online
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: and talk to my buddies or nobody knows how to
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: deal with this, and so we suck it up. We
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: we we sit back. I watch things on TikTok, especially
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: like THEO or something I and I. I it'll start
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: talking about being unloved. I break down, privacy in my
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: own home, I break down. I know that. Mm hmmm
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: that came off. Yeah, it's off. It's me. I know
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: that feeling as a child, I know that feeling ash
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: having your father tell you You're the root of all
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: their problems. You are you were never supposed to be here.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: You've ruined their life. So I felt that you know,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: and that I have a lot of empathy for kids.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: I I really do, especially abuse kids. I have a ton.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: I have a ton of empathy for bullies because I
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: know where they're coming from. I was a bully. I
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: get it. I got bully at home, so I brought
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: it to school. There was a time I remember driving
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: home from Milton and I walked into the woods with
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: my gun and I was leaned against a tree. I
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: didn't want to go too far. I didn't want my
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: family to find me, so I owned to the Snowbridge Road.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: I parked my truck so they could find my truck.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: And I want to you know, And I knew if
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: I did it there, they would probably send a search party.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: In a search party, my family wouldn't have to be
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: exposed to finding me. I'll try to make it through
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: this story, but this is really hard for me. I
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: was on that version. I remember asking God for a sign.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I've never told anyone this. I got a text and
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: it was four words. It was from my son. He said,
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: I love you, Dad, I put my gun away and
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: decided that wasn't the day. Wo I can't believe I
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: said that story out there. I've never told anyone that.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: So when you look at people, especially men, and you
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: think you envy them, life isn't always great, man, and
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: even some of the most successful people in the world
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: have fucked up heads, you know. So that's why I
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: don't want to fuck with John Anderson, because I've come
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: to the realization he has some real and just as men.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: I don't want to fuck with another man that's having
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: those kind of problems because I have empathy for John,
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: I really do. I know, I trill in him, and
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: you know, I'm not worried about him beating me up.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: I don't care what he says. I really don't.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: But I have a lot of.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Empathy for these people. I have empathy for men, I
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: really do. Women. Man, they they're so lucky. They're so
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: lucky to have people that talk to They're so lucky
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: to have friends. You know, when you talk to your buddies,
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: what do they tell you? Fucking rub some fucking dirt
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: in it, Man, get over it. I don't want to
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: hear your problems because it's gonna bring up my problems.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about suicide because I think
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: about suicide. We all have those same things in our
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: fucking heads. That's why we don't want to talk about
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: to other men. If women, if our wives could see
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: what was in our heads, it would fucking scare them
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: to death. I keep every bit of anxiety away from
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: my family. I keep it all inside to shield them
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: because I'm the protector of the family. That's how we
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: were raised, That's how we as men, that's how we
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: we do it. We keep it all inside. Eighty seven
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: percent of all suicides are men. The weight on our
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: shoulders is fucking insane, insane. So our wives don't know.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: This stuff has affected every part of my life, every
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: one of my relationships. You know, my kids, my family, drugs, alcohol,
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: You know, you're always trying to find a way to
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: make that shit go away, whether it's be through drugs,
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: whether it be through alcohol. And once again, parents, you
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: are such a huge influence on your children. You have
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: no clue.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: All right, don't have to be.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: I don't ever. I'm only I only showed this vulnerable
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: part of myself hoping it helps somebody else. I feel very,
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: very weak right now. I feel embarrassed right now for
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: even talking about this. And the worst part is most
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: all the men watching this know exactly the place I'm
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: coming from. We've all felt that, we all know it.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: And our wives think we're fucking crazy, that we're just
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: angry people. Nope, we're trying to survive. We're just trying
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: to survive by ourselves. We're trying to hold the weight
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: of our family. We're holding the weight of everything by ourselves.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: We don't want to open up to our wives because
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: we are the patriarch, We're the strong person. And if
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: we're not the strong ones, who the fuck's going to
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: be the strong one in our family? We have to
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: stand strong? But how do we stand strong and survive?
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: And I wish I knew the answer because I don't.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: So the only thing that I have is I is
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: I have to look for signs to stay here. How
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: fucking can you? Well, you can't imagine it. You're a man, ladies,
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: imagine that every day is just a survival. What sign
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: are you going to look for today to not suck?
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Start a shotgun? And then the doctors the whole thing,
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Like I said that, the taking the guns away. You
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: think if I want to fucking end myself, you're taking
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: all my guns away? Is going to stop that. It's not.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: It's not, And I'm glad. I'm glad I got it
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: out there. And I'd rather me be embarrassed than have
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: another guy kill himself today ver month.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Second leading cause of death is suicide in this little,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: tiny state. Second, yeah, because.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: You feel like you're drowning. You feel like there's no out,
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: there's nothing. It's that dark place, it's that dark hole.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Look for a sign. Just look for a sign to
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: make it another day. That's all we can do. Live
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: day by day, right, take it one day at a time.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Some days are better than others. But you want me
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: to tell you what is the biggest factor. A good woman,
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: having an understanding woman, having a woman that stands behind
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: you is huge. Man. Without that, that will compound your problems.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I can most certainly relate to that. Charylyn has to
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: deal with me on a daily basis.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: My wife doesn't deal with me my wife basis for
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: days on end, thinking that our problems will go away.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: That is the absolute worst thing that you can do
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: to somebody is ignore them when they're going through that
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: shit because as it does, is compound daily, daily, and
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: the longer you ignore it, the bigger the explosion is
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: going to be. At the end, address the problem. Have
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: those conversations. If you see your husband sitting there just
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: not talking, there's shit going on, man, there really really is.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: And I don't know. That's once again that I think
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: that it goes back. It's hard once we become adults
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: to fix all that shit. Just know as a parent,
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: what you're creating when you beat your kid, when you
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: scream at your kid, you have no clue what you're
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: doing to that child. Think about it. Just take a minute.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: If you're that angry with your kid or whatever, just
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: take a second, take a deep breath, and just take
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: a second. It's overwhelming to be a parent. Don't ruin
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: your child's entire life because of an emotional response. That's
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: why I believe in older parents. Don't have kids when
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: you're seventeen, eighteen, nineteen years old. Wait until youre twenty five,
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: twenty six, twenty seven, thirty years old, when you're more
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: mature and you can handle being a parent. Because it's stressful.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: It's super stressful, and because of my own trauma as
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: a child and everything. I left a lot of that
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: burden on my wife. I was out doing drugs. I
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: was on a one percent motorcycle game. That's how I
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: deal with my shit, and I left all of that
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: of my wife. Creative resentment eight. I was a piece
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: of shit by my own choices. I'm not above that.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: My ego is gone, man, it really has. But wow,
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: soldier on right, that's what we do.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: I think. I think there's a good number of folks
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: that are watching and listening this morning that if they're
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: not thanking you with their comments, they're thanking you in
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: their their minds.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: I don't need to be thanking.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Just for being so so transparent.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: That's uh, that's come with my age. I never want
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: to be transparent with anyone there is, and I know
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: that there's plenty of people that get ticked off.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: When they watch or listen well to anything, any podcast,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: any radio station, any TV station, and locally especially One
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: of the biggest challenges I think that has come into
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: this microphone is that too many people take us too seriously.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Go ahead, grab my grab my keys. They're right over
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: there on the on the on the end of the
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: U right over there on the shelf, right there, you'll
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: you'll see yeah, right there, yeah, silver key, m.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: I think that too many people, too many listeners take
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: things too seriously and when when they listen, when they listen,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: they they don't necessarily know when when we're really just
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: having fun and just just just having a good time
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: and just goofing around and just talking real real life
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: like we would if we were hanging out at a bar. Yeah,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: do you know what I'm saying? You know we need
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: more well, I mean.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: Sitting down from both perspectives, we're.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Gonna make We're gonna make fun of each other. You
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: make fun of me all the time. Yep, fat short,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: you're bald, I'm not. You know, I've gone through puberty.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: You haven't yet, you know, things like this. But we're
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: gonna make fun of each other. We're also going to
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: make fun of of of people that are watching listening,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: and we're going to disagree, We're going to agree. We're
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: gonna that's just the way the way that we are.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I mean, the podcast is called to air it out.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: And if if you don't want to follow it, you
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: don't want to listen.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: Keeps making comments, come on in tell us your point
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: of view. If we're just fucking talking on our outcome
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: to us, right, I have no I so And that's
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: the thing is, I'm not I'm not here to beat
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: up somebody because they have a different point of view.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: You could say whatever you want to me.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Sure, yeah, yeah. Look who's just walked in mcscheffrey. Man,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: you missed it.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: Brother looked terrible.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: He looks terrible.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: Look amazing.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: You you missed it. You were in a meeting. But
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: we were talking plenty about you, Bud.
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: I know, let's tap on Rex bringing to the table today.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: We were talking about how Barry Vermont was not fucking
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: rainbows and unicorns when we were kids. It wasn't until
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: the mayor Tom Loson came in and really cleaned up
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: the city. The city was really bad back in the
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: day when I was growing up. There was nothing nice
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: about it. We weren't. We weren't together. You had the poor,
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: You had the fucking town kids that come down and
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: fight with the city kids.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I read your I read your message, your post from
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: last night on social media.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: Rich were you drunk? That's why I don't get That's
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: why I cannot drink again.
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: Kidding I.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Read that this morning.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: Just sick of it? Just sick of it?
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: What are you sick of?
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: What are you sick of?
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: Mostly mostly Rex and stuff mostly No, I'm just kidding.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: It's just like I think I caught a little bit
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: of it when I walked in. You know, I can
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: agree to disagree on stuff. Doesn't mean you don't care
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: about your brothers. I mean we went to high school together.
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: If you ever need anything, I've called him before he's
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: come over. We don't have to have the exact same
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: political alignment. I mean, how is that even possible. We
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: weren't built the same way, born and raised the same way.
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: You know, none of nothing was the same. We didn't
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: have the same influences throughout our life, like we I've
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: spent place in the military and all over the country
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: in different places, and you know, you get things from
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: from where you are and your surroundings, and you try
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: to compartmentalize them and come up with your own opinions
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: and you know, life lessons.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: It's just all very I was very very frank about
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: like my my point of view doesn't align with a
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: lot of people when it comes to Inmigracia because I
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: lived with those people. I have a different perspective of
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: those people. And my point was your post me and
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: you we could talk about this on a podcast that
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: only has you know, ten thousand people viewing or whatnot.
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: But we have leaders that have billions of dollars to
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: keep us divided. They we will never from the ground
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: up bring people together. Leaders.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: But as soon as you recognize that's impossible, then you
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: got to start, you know, trying to figure out what
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: it is you can do with with your brains and
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: with your skills and with your platforms. And it's whatever
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: you try to fix what you can around you, because
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: you're just gonna be miserable. You can't look at this stuff.
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: I don't care what side of the aisle you're on
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: or what your opinions are. When you're watching this stuff,
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: feelings get hurt and people get upset. And like I said,
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: you know, you're you're friends with with somebody on Facebook
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: for a reason. You know, obviously everyone requested me. I
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: haven't ever requested anyone, but but you're you're friends with
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: them for a reason. You accepted them, all right, And
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: it's like I I look at it now, or I'm
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: starting to look at it more after the last eight
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: years just nonsense, is you never talked at the dinner
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: table about politics and religion, right right, So why are
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: we doing it on a platform with our friends and family.
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: Because we can so now we don't have to deal
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: with the consequences right then and there, we don't have to.
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: We can say what we can say. The wildest ship
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: I did social media.
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: I did it and understand it. I just don't appreciate.
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: I think it's a it's melting melting brains, I do.
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: I just don't.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: The thing about both of you guys are busier than
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I am, and and that says something. But the fact
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: that you guys do take the time, both of you
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: to pay attention to what's what's being said in your community.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: I mean, there's plenty of social media platform keyboard pirates
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: even here close by, more so maybe even close by,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: But the fact that you guys pay attention to what's
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: what's being said. One of my knee jerk reactions last
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: night when I read your post was I'm like, here's
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: Rich mcsheffery, busy freakin' dude, but he's aware of of
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: what of what's going on, of what's being said locally here,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I'm talking main Street Barry. There is so much divisiveness.
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: I mean.
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: In my business, I'm not allowed to. You know, there's
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: a lot of things that I probably would say if
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: I know. It was always off the record, but you
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: know you can't. I can't divide. We don't discriminate, right,
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: discriminated against anyone that comes in, you want to buy
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: a hamburger and a beer. Our doors are open, that's
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: what we're there for. Right, We've never ever ever had
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: anything like that. You've never had a I've never had
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: a niche on my record, and you know, right, thirty
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: five years in this business, because that's what the hospitality
- 1:23:53Speaker 4: industry is. You know, you can't voice your opinions. I
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: say one thing that's off color, which I did on CEO.
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: I said it on CI they had this. I actually
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: thought it was a joke. I really did. I thought
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: the article was a joke. I didn't even in fairness,
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: I didn't even read it. I probably should have. It
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: was about a four hundred and ninety eight pound wrapper
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: that she was denied a lyft ride because of her size,
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: and I said, perhaps she should have called fork lift. Yeah,
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: I it's again I wasn't. I just it just that's
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: how my brain works. It's always so sential.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: It's just I'm unapologetically.
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: It's it's quick witted. And I wasn't. I wasn't doing
- 1:24:35Speaker 4: it because but she went back and or somebody commented,
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: I mean it got more likes, which yip do do?
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: That wasn't the point. I was just like, oh, this
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: is clever, and I put it on there. But because
- 1:24:44Speaker 4: of the first thing that came to my mind, I've
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: said that. But somebody came back and says, that's how
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: business owners behave these days? Do you discriminate and pick
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: on and laugh at the people that come to the
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: Cornerstone Pubing Kitchen and tagged it? And I'm like, yeah,
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: so I just deleted it. I'm like, we're losing a customer.
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: It's like, yeah, I have something against people that are overweight,
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: and I sell five dollars hamburgers and French fries on right, you.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: Know, like, wow, come on that listen. It sucks that
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: you have to and he's right though, as a business
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: owner you do have to watch. Yeah, And I have to.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: I catch myself because I have emotional responses to everything.
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: Just wait till I retire one day.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: Oh god, that's gonna be its own.
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: I'm gonna be I'm gonna be up against you with
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: my podcast. It's gonna insane.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: See, all you got to do is show him how
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: to do everything, get him a bunch of followers, and
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: then he can steal all your ship and leave.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: Perfect, What I mean you should build up more people
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: so everybody can start a podcast in town and think
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: there's something fucking special.
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like starting your own Facebook page. It's that easy.
- 1:25:55Speaker 4: I'm gonna start one that calls Barry against tampon racks.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: Yes, yes, that's a good page. Yeah.
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: If I post that on Cornerstone, we'll get like ten
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: thousand flights and again.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Wait, yes, that's so cool. You know.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Here, here's the here's the thing, guys, all three of
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: us and Rex has been taking a very deep dive
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: on mental mental health.
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: I didn't mean to come into that.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, that that's how you got.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: The three of us. Let's be honest.
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: What do we figure out.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: I think it's fair to say that we like to
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: be liked. I think most people would.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Growing up, and like I said, my trauma that is
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: like a huge thing for me to be a people pleaser.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Yeah, being a people pleaser because I could never please
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: my family, my father.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: To this day, my father doesn't talk to me. He
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: killed my mother. He doesn't he doesn't talk to me.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: He has nothing to do with me.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: When I was on Froggy for sixteen years.
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: I didn't know that did me all? Well, glad I
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: wasn't here for that part.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: And watch it, But being on Froggy, it's like every morning,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: you know, I would have to be happy, go lucky,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: no matter what was going on my life. Yes, and
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: so hard to prep with that smiling right, and I
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: had to be I just want to always on stage
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: always exactly.
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: Guys know this where you go in the public.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: I mean, guys, this more than anybody.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: Even if there was someone, even if there was someone
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: that I that I didn't particularly like, I had to
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: be friendly all the time, whether I was face to
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: face with them or no matter what I'm representing Froggy
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: one hundred point nine. Now this is liberating for me
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: because I can be myself. I know, and I think
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: we all know. You you have customers rich that maybe
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: you've lost. Same story with you here at aired out.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Absolutely absolutely. But man, it's like I'm not gonna say
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: everything that that everyone always agrees on. I'm gonna get loose.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna most of the time I'm goofing around.
- 1:28:22Speaker 4: I feel bad it like other restaurants probably think I
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: boycott him or something. I just don't go out.
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: I'm a homebody. I've got two little girls. Now, I've
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: got a twenty five year old son. You know, you're busy,
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: busy stuff.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: I feel that I'm at the gym at night and
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: I'm working during the day.
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: They still have the ladies workout up the street.
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: Do they do? Yeah?
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: Listen, this is you know. I think back to your
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: message Rich to sum up here. I think you're you're
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: just trying to I think you were just trying to
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: say and like I said earlier, you should go back
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: and watch this one.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: But how do we get leaders to how do we
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: start getting leaders that aren't looking to divide us and
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: looking to bring us together. There's nothing I haven't seen
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: anybody try to try to bring this together.
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: One thing, one thing about that that's difficult is that
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: is that even for me, people have said it before.
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: Why don't you run for you know something in and
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: blah blah blah, and it's like you do and then
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: and then you're you're opening yourself up to so many
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: different opinions and somebody's gonna pick you apart and find,
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: you know, find the worst thing they can about you
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: and make you look like shit when all your intentions.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: That's why out there, I'm like, I am a piece
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: of shit that did drugs and did all that.
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, your passionn't matter, it's what you're you want.
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: Well it should. Actually, that's that's a little unfair. Some
- 1:29:47Speaker 4: of your passion matter depending upon how bad your past was.
- 1:29:50Speaker 4: But like that kind of stuff, I mean, that's all
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: about growing up and getting old. Like I mean, I
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: I do fucking yoga now, Like what the fuck? Like
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: I never ever you know what I mean? Guys like
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: I'm getting fat and you got these kids that I
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: want to live for. So like you know, you cut
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: back on drinking and you cut back on.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: This, and now are you wearing just are you wearing
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: spend X when you're doing the yoga?
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: Uh no, I'm alone, no question, yeah no, no, no, no,
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: I'm trying to answer him like they do in all
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: the Senate hearings.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Oh so sweatpants for there's sweaty pants.
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: Yeah, they're a little bit sweaty. No, you don't sweat
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: during yoga, not the kind I do. I do like
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: old people yoga that so.
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: My wife does, sits in a chair chair for like
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: eighty year old people.
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: Can stop, you're gonna start somewhere.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: I agree.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: We all need to baby steps. We need to laugh.
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: We need to connect with our community. We need to
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: connect with our neighbors. Rex is always pushing that he's
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: got a neighbor that he doesn't agree with.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: But they they they they talk. Yeah. I just sent
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: him a message yesterday because he's got a family member
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: that's going through some tough stuff. So I saw him
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: Eddie blow. Yeah, shut up prayers, there's family member. Yeah.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: We need to to take a deep breath. We need
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: to not take each other so seriously. Also, do not
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: take this podcast seriously.
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: I don't think anybody takes us seriously.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: You know, I mean we goof around a lot. We
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: call each other names. Uh, you know, lighten up. Whatever
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: happened to us? Lightening up? I mean everything you see
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: in your on your on your phone, everything's coming down.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: The pipe in the news. It's all serious shit. This
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: and that is constant.
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: How do you think they keep us divided? Everything's a tragedy.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: So I don't believe. So a lot of people believe
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: in conspiracies and like the government creates them. I don't
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: believe that. I believe that all they have to do
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: is tag along. There's gonna be a tragedy every day.
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: There's three hundred and thirty million people. They don't need
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: to create a tragedy. There will. We'll create our own.
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: They just have to fucking take advantage of it. Right,
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: that's it.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: As long as you're as long as you're watching mainstream
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: stream news, going on Facebook and having so many different
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: opinions and all that, it's never gonna change. It's just
- 1:32:08Speaker 4: you got way too much in your head that you're trying.
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: If you've got the time and you're you're trying to
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: navigate through this ship. It's like you don't you get
- 1:32:16Speaker 4: to the point where you don't know what to believe
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: and you know you have no choice but to develop
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: your own opinion to move on.
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: It's hard. I disagree.
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: I disagree, but I don't have my master's degree in
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: political science but I'm trying to I'm trying to listen
- 1:32:27Speaker 4: to people that are doctors, lawyers and do you know,
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: and and I just think sometimes it's like I'm not
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: even smart enough to figure this shit out, So I'm
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: donate my time to cook some shit for the mainstream media.
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: Fake media. To me, that is government propaganda to get
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: you not to watch what's going on. That's all it is.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: They're regulat We all know there's news stations, and we
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: all know that they're biased, but we know that the
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: information that they're putting out you can research yourself. Of course,
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: So the difference between mainstream media versus TikTok YouTube and
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: all the other. No, but what I'm saying, but no,
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: you're absolutely right. So instead what people are doing is
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: they go and they get on a TikTok and find
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: a TikTok video and let somebody else do the research
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: for them. And then they go, well, you're watching mainstream media,
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: so you're just listening to fake news. That's why you're
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: fucked up.
- 1:33:18Speaker 4: But no one can tell me that social media. Social
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: media has not affected the just and the youth. I mean,
- 1:33:27Speaker 4: when I first whatever sixteen years ago, getting on Facebook
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: was like that was supposed to be for college kids,
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: you know, like for them to communicate and day hang
- 1:33:35Speaker 4: out my space.
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: Yeah, use to post the wildest what was your so
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: get to the choppa? It was a baby.
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: Mine was? Uh whatever that song was?
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: Let the bodies at the floor that they played with.
- 1:33:55Speaker 4: I'm surprised nobody's has anyone shipped on my Patriots hot
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: yet I was waiting for that.
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: Uh what I'm wearing a fan?
- 1:34:02Speaker 4: So I'm a fan. What I'm wearing a Red Sox
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: hot my whole life.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: I guess Vermont needs to come up with their own
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: fucking professional team, so we start rooting for them.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: Well, we got the coyotes coming.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: Absolute, they're coming to.
- 1:34:16Speaker 4: My pro Are we allowed to call them coyotes?
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: What is that offensive? How is that offensive? Well?
- 1:34:23Speaker 4: Isn't that what they call the people? The drug the
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: drug lords and coyotes, boy, the Mexican drug lords. No,
- 1:34:30Speaker 4: but isn't it I don't know, Sure it offend somebody.
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: Thank you guys, thank you rich for for popping in here.
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: I don't even know what to say to you other
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: than just a huge, huge thank you and high high
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: high respect for you being so transparent about your life.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: I didn't see that coming, but we went down a
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: road today, for damn sure, and I appreciate that you
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: you got a message out today that.
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: Brother, we very much unrehearsed, and we all know when
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: we look at each other, we all know, we all
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: know we see you. You're not alone. Just look for
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: that sign when you're ready to fucking put that shotgun
- 1:35:21Speaker 2: in your mouth. Really look for that fucking sign. There
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: will be a sign always. Well.
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: I definitely walked in on the wrong day.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: Holy yeah, no, no, no, you know it was. It
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: was great conversation.
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: And I'll go back and watch it. I'm certain that
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: if you didn't know it, I certainly didn't know it.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: But it frankly one that needed to happen, a conversation
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: that needed to be aired out, and one that honestly, so.
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: Thank you John Anderson. Thank you. You know he's the
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: reason we talked about this today.
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: I walk in not knowing what's going on. You both
- 1:36:00Speaker 4: look terrible and call him tampon wrecks in the first
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: thirty second. Dude, I'm sorry at all.
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: Don't be sorry. You didn't know. There's no reason to
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: be sorry. You didn't do anything wrong, Just look at hey.
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: Just remember if I bothered you. Look for the sign. Man,
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: look for the sign.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: Thank you boys, thank you Shad
