  Speaker 1: give God your sacrifice of praise. Jonah two and nine says,

  Speaker 1: but I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to

  Speaker 1: you what I have vowed. I will make good. I

  Speaker 1: will say salvation comes from the Lord. You know. Today's

  Speaker 1: scripture was spoken by the prophet Jonah while he was
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: inside the huge fish that God sent to spare his
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: life after he had disobeyed God's command. Can you imagine

  Speaker 1: the smell inside the fish's digestive system. Iw For eight verses,

  Speaker 1: Jonah talked about how bad his life was, how he
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: was in the depths of despair, how he didn't see
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: a way out. All that was true, but guess what,
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: it didn't change his situation. Then something here him in
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: the midst of the stink, in the midst of his despair,
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: in a situation that seemed impossible to recover from, he
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: suddenly offered up a sacrifice of praise and surrender to
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: the Lord. That act of surrender, that sacrifice of praise,
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: calls God to go to work on Jonah's behalf. The
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: big fish put Jonah back out on dry land, on
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: dry ground to fulfill his destiny. Think about that. That's
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: a miracle in itself. He could have spit him out
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: in the middle of the water, but God had already
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: saw on everything out. He knows everything. God had him
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: to put Jonah out on dry land. Listen, family, you
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: may be in a stinking situation today, something that seems
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: impossible to recover from. Now you can sit there and
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: wallow in it and describe what's wrong, what you've done wrong,
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: how you messed up, how people don't treat you right,
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: or how you're not gonna get well. But guess what

  Speaker 1: that creates an atmosphere of doubt, defeat, and negativity that
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: keeps you bound right where you are. I want to
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: encourage you to give God a sacrifice of praise right
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: in the midst of your situation. Surrender everything to him.

  Speaker 1: Trust him he can handle it. Send up faith, send
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: up hope. You're about to see the negative situation turn
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: around in your life. Father God, in the name of Jesus,

  Speaker 1: thank you that even when we make mistakes and being
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: trouble on ourselves, just like Jonah, did, you cover us
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: with your mercy. You give us second chances. Today, God,
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: we offer up a sacrifice of grateful praise to you
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: and declare that you are our Lord. God. We believe
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: you will get us to where we need to be
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: in Jesus' name. Boom on dry land, headed toward destiny. Ha.

  Speaker 1: That's your word for today. I want you to take

  Speaker 1: that apply to your every day life and you continue
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: to be encouraging and inspired. It's your early morning praise party.
