  Speaker 1: this is one. Yeah, this is one of the uh,

  Speaker 1: opened this game at three and a half. Initially I

  Speaker 1: thought they were just taking a good number of the

  Speaker 1: three and a half, but they've been coming in on it.

  Speaker 1: a little bit. Um. I expect the wise guys to

  Speaker 1: first game. It's the Bears Packers and just so much interest,

  Speaker 1: I mean, just aside from uh, you know, seeing how

  Speaker 1: the Bears rebound from the way they ended their season

  Speaker 1: last year. Uh, there's just there's so much intrigue surrounding

  Speaker 1: this game with Aaron Rodgers in a kind of a

  Speaker 1: new offense and new head coach. Uh uh, the whole
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: dynamic between the best defensive player going against one of
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: the best offensive players. See if Khalil Mackins shut down
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers who doesn't throw any picks, And I mean,
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: there's just so much intrigue surrounding this game. Probably why

  Speaker 1: the numbers just kind of solid at that at three now.

  Speaker 1: But uh, the the sharp guys are definitely on the

  Speaker 1: Packers in this one, and the public slightly heavier on
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: the Bears. Why do you think the wise guys have

  Speaker 1: come in on the Packers. You're you're mentioning some some

  Speaker 1: narratives but what's the metrics. Well, well, I mean the

  Speaker 1: Packers really had a much better team last year than
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: their than their record indicated. There was a lot of

  Speaker 1: internal strife. I mean there's a lot going on with
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: the coaching staff and Aaron Rodgers. And you look at
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: just Aaron Rodgers performance last year. He was as good
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: as efficient as he ever was. So they just expect
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: that to continue and just kind of a uh, maybe
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: two things happen and maybe a little bit of a
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: regression with the Bears as well as kind of a

  Speaker 1: resurgent Packer team under new leadership that they figured to

  Speaker 1: be uh playing up to the potential of what the

  Speaker 1: talent on this squad really is. Alright, this next game

  Speaker 1: I am so excited about I'm not gonna allow to you.

  Speaker 1: on the board. It's the most heavily bet team of

  Speaker 1: overwhelmingly on one side, where the sharp guys are on

  Speaker 1: We've had these lines up for months and months. So

  Speaker 1: we went as low as three and a half on

  Speaker 1: this game and as high as four and a half

  Speaker 1: on the game. But all the big money came in
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: at plus four on the Jag on the Jaguars. UM

  Speaker 1: and like I said, the public just overwhelmingly on the
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: chief almost had a nine to one ratio. That's just
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: you know, you rarely see you rarely see the uh
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: the ratio that high. Uh. And some big money on
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: the Chiefs too. I'm not going to say that all
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: the big moneys on the Jaguars. There's some big money
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: on the Chiefs. It's just kind of more of our
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: big casino players, more of the recreational gamblers that like
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: to bet big on the game, the people that we
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: know to be sharp and to be expert handicappers. They're
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: definitely on the Jaguars. And this one, well, I got

  Speaker 1: another game for you, Carolina hosting the Rams Short Home Dog.

  Speaker 1: You might as call the podcast the short Home Dog Podcast,

  Speaker 1: because you know, if I get a short home Dog,

  Speaker 1: I'm taking it. So Carolina is another team plus three
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: that I am on, and uh, like the Chiefs, the

  Speaker 1: Rams getting three quarters of the action from the public. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: the second second most heavily bad team on the board
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: next to the Chiefs. Definitely the Rams. This is the

  Speaker 1: kind of game where the public walks into the sports book,

  Speaker 1: they see a great team like the Rams, and they

  Speaker 1: see them as a short favorite and they just, you know,
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: they don't really take in we talked about it so

  Speaker 1: many times before, where they don't really take in that
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: what that home field advantage means. They just see a
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: short road favorite and they figure the Rams, as good
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: as they are, should at least cover three. So the
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: average casual better is gonna is probably gonna put the
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: Rams in a parlay. Uh, and the Sharp guys ro

  Speaker 1: all over the Panthers. The betting slowed down a little
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: bit in one of the preseason games when Cam Newton
• 8:06
  Speaker 1: left in a walking boot, but he he figures could
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: be probable for for game one. There's no indication that
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: he's gonna miss this game, so uh, the action started

  Speaker 1: picking up from a lot of the Sharp guys again

  Speaker 1: on the Panthers. Recently, we've gone to plus three minus
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: one twenty. Uh might even see I might even see
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: a dip down to two and a half by game time,
• 8:26
  Speaker 1: but just all that public money on the ranch just
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: kind of keeping it keeping it at three. All right.

  Speaker 1: to seem out of order in terms of the schedule,

  Speaker 1: it puts those games at the top, and I don't

  Speaker 1: want to skip games by like going back to the

  Speaker 1: one o'clock game. So I'm just going in the order

  Speaker 1: that I'm seeing him in the app. Apologize, uh, because

  Speaker 1: I say that because the other game that I've bet
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: so far, I have to two of the games that

  Speaker 1: I bet, uh, the Chargers and the Colts. I got
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: the Colts at plus seven SCO and I know the
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: wise guys have been coming in on the Colts. Yeah, well,

  Speaker 1: you know, the reality is the Colts have a really
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: good team, and they had a good team with or
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: without Andrew Luck. And the whole thing was how much
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: how much does he mean for this line? So we
• 9:23
  Speaker 1: opened up the Charges three points favorite, and obviously when
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: Luck went out, we moved it up. We went as
• 9:29
  Speaker 1: high as minus seven, and you, along with some other
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: sharp guys that we know, have took that plus seven
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: and made us go down to six and a half. So,
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: without a doubt, this game is going to fall between
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: four and six. That just had the way the way
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: it works for us, got that huge middle where everybody
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: laid the Chargers at minus three and took the Colts
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: at plus seven. So we're not in a great spot here,
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: but there are still a lot of sharp guys that
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: feel like the Colts have a decent shot of even
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: winning the division. So even without even without Andrew Luck,

  Speaker 1: So I think there definitely is some value there at
• 10:04
  Speaker 1: the plus seven if you were able to get it,
• 10:06
  Speaker 1: and even at six and a half, there's probably some
• 10:08
  Speaker 1: value on the Colts. You've got uh possibly no, no,
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: Melvin Gordon's he's uh doubtful for this game. They've they've
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: got some other key injuries. Uh, So I do think
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: that there's value on the Colts. We're gonna come into
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: uh what I liked. You know, August has got Amen corner,
• 10:30
  Speaker 1: uh Scooch, You've got the corner of TV corner. And
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: what I mean by that is you've got Baltimore is
• 10:37
  Speaker 1: a seven point favorite over Miami and the game following that,
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: uh has another potential despite how popular their team is.

  Speaker 1: But first Baltimore as seven point favorites on the road
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: against the Dolphins. Oh my god, this has Jesus, I'm
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: gonna have to bet the Dolphins in this game. Just
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: on principle, well, well, I mean, obviously we saw the

  Speaker 1: big move. We were as low as Baltimore minus three
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: and a half minus four. We went up to seven
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: when Miami started unloading guys Laramie Tunsel and Kenny Stills
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: and and you know, aside from the talent that they're
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: losing for this game, it's also just you know, the
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: mental aspect of having your team approaching game one as
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: you're unloading some of your you know, all pro players. So, uh,
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: just another angle to consider in this game. Baltimore trying
• 11:32
  Speaker 1: to get that defense back up to where it was
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: a few years ago, to relying on Lamar Jackson at
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: at quarterback. Um, I think this is a little bit
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: more interesting than just the corner game. I think there's
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: a lot going on this one. There's a lot of
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: people paying attention to this one, especially with the big
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: the big line swings. Yeah, I agree. I think I
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: actually might have to take a little bit of a flyer,
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: not like a full unit, like half a unit on Miami.

  Speaker 1: The unit on he plays pretty well against against the Ravens,

  Speaker 1: and and I think you gotta look look at that

  Speaker 1: factor too. He feels comfortable playing against this his defense.

• 12:12
  Speaker 1: game of the year in South Florida when there's seven

  Speaker 1: point underdogs. I have just convinced myself to go to

  Speaker 1: four units on this game. Wow, that's pretty strong. I'm kidding.

  Speaker 1: What do I do about the Browns? The Browns is

  Speaker 1: five point favorites at home against Tennessee. Have we reached

  Speaker 1: Pete Browns? Are the Browns overvalued? Is this the right number?

  Speaker 1: willing to go in this one. Uh. The ticket account

  Speaker 1: is definitely high on on on the Browns. Everybody's hyped

  Speaker 1: up on the Browns. Not a lot of reason to

  Speaker 1: get excited on about the Titans. So it's either browns

  Speaker 1: or passed on the game. I'm gonna pass. I don't

  Speaker 1: blame it is. They're gonna be fun to watch, but

  Speaker 1: I also think it's gonna be fun to watch. Kind

  Speaker 1: of that. Um, those expectations fall week by week. Do

  Speaker 1: or at least I'm still heavily considering Minnesota as a

  Speaker 1: four point favorite at home against Atlanta sixty percent of

  Speaker 1: the action coming in and the Falcons. You know, I

  Speaker 1: I like I call him the Atlanta fraud kins. Uh.

  Speaker 1: You know, I'm not a fan. I think the Vikings

  Speaker 1: are tremendously undervalued. Right now. This feels like a spot

  Speaker 1: to the Scooch. This really does. I opened the Minnesota

  Speaker 1: lot of money on Falcons. I was trying to put

  Speaker 1: myself in a position where we actually needed the Vikings.

  Speaker 1: I'm not getting any falcon money. I could definitely see

  Speaker 1: this line moving up by game time. I'm not seeing

  Speaker 1: the sharp guys taking the falcons here. So being that

  Speaker 1: the public is all over Minnesota, will be really quick

  Speaker 1: to move this one. Yeah, I think I think that

  Speaker 1: not too much interest in this game at all. Yeah. Like,

  Speaker 1: the only other game, and we'll get to it, is

  Speaker 1: Arizona Detroit. That might be the only other game that

  Speaker 1: has fewer bets than this game. I'm looking in the

  Speaker 1: action right now, But there's interest in that one, and

  Speaker 1: at least from our in our books. I mean, people
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: want to see Arizona are excited about this offense. They're not.

  Speaker 1: They don't they don't have a whole lot of expectations
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: on them. They think they'll win more than five games.

  Speaker 1: But but I think people just like to see a

  Speaker 1: rookie quarterback coming in and seeing what he could do,

  Speaker 1: kind of like what Baker Mayfield did, and so so

  Speaker 1: I think there's a little excitement around Arizona and then
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: going up against uh, you know, uh, a guy like Stafford.

  Speaker 1: They just want to they want to see that dynamic.

  Speaker 1: There's definitely more interest in this game than there is
• 15:59
  Speaker 1: on the Hills Jets. Yes, you're right, and the stats

  Speaker 1: bear that out right now in the Action Network gap. Uh,

  Speaker 1: the games with the least volume are Jets, Bills, Niners, Bucks,

  Speaker 1: and then Arizona Detroit. But let's before we get to
