- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:28Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:33Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma on Thursday February thirteenth, twenty
- 0:39Speaker 1: twenty five. I'm a dog owner, have been pretty much
- 0:47Speaker 1: my entire life, Trey, same for you and uh Raj.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I think that holds true for you as well, right
- 0:53Speaker 1: dog owner?
- 0:54Speaker 2: Cool?
- 0:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:57Speaker 1: Ever had issues with training the dog?
- 1:02Speaker 2: No, not really.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I say that different dogs present different challenges. Some are
- 1:09Speaker 1: a little easier than others, some are more challenging, but
- 1:13Speaker 1: that's okay. A little effort never hurt anybody. Luckily, for
- 1:19Speaker 1: us as dog owners, the Austrians have come to our
- 1:24Speaker 1: aid because if you are struggling to get your dog
- 1:29Speaker 1: to pay attention to you or do things like maybe
- 1:32Speaker 1: fetch your slippers or get the newspaper if you still
- 1:37Speaker 1: you know, get that. Austrian scientists strapped eye tracking helmets
- 1:43Speaker 1: to a bunch of dogs and they found the perfect
- 1:45Speaker 1: tactic to get them to pay attention. Both pointing and
- 1:51Speaker 1: staring at an object is the best way for dog
- 1:54Speaker 1: owners to get their pets to follow directions. That's according
- 1:57Speaker 1: to a new study that was bush yesterday, so here
- 2:01Speaker 1: it is again. According to Austrian scientists, if you want
- 2:05Speaker 1: your dog to pay attention and to do what you say,
- 2:10Speaker 1: pointing and staring at an object is the way to
- 2:12Speaker 1: do it.
- 2:14Speaker 4: There you go, hmm, interesting, I'm gonna do that with
- 2:20Speaker 4: my neighbor. It's a good point and stare at the neighborhood.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Hopefully it'll attack.
- 2:29Speaker 5: I think it'll work with women, Like if I just
- 2:31Speaker 5: point and stare at a sandwich.
- 2:36Speaker 2: A picture of a sandwich or an actual sandwich.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Well, no, they have to make that. They need to
- 2:40Speaker 5: make the sandwich.
- 2:41Speaker 1: But like a picture of women, it's like to show
- 2:43Speaker 1: it to them on the phone.
- 2:44Speaker 2: H I hear right there, Get me one of those
- 2:48Speaker 2: pots and pans.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I realized Jimmy John's is freaky fast. But you could
- 2:55Speaker 1: at least try.
- 2:58Speaker 5: What cats are women?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Oh god, you keep it up. You're not going to
- 3:05Speaker 1: be safe sleeping around either one.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Now I've got a male cat. He's okay, he.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Makes the sandwiches.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Now he just points.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Trade does it. According to the Austrian scientist and lead
- 3:27Speaker 1: author Christophe Volter of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna,
- 3:33Speaker 1: didn't even know that. Here's how shielded and in our
- 3:39Speaker 1: own bubbles we are as Americans is and especially as Texans. Right,
- 3:44Speaker 1: because when you think about a veterinary university, one of
- 3:49Speaker 1: the first ones we think of is Texas A and M. Right,
- 3:53Speaker 1: And there's some other great vet schools in our country.
- 3:56Speaker 1: You stop to think about, Oh yeah, other countries probably
- 3:59Speaker 1: have those two. It sounds pretty good to say if
- 4:01Speaker 1: you went to VET school at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, anyway,
- 4:09Speaker 1: The lead author from that place said, the owner's gaze
- 4:11Speaker 1: and gesture are useful separately, but combined they are stronger.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So point and stare at the object. That's the way
- 4:19Speaker 1: to get your dogs attention or in trace case future
- 4:26Speaker 1: romantic interests.
- 4:31Speaker 5: You're not gonna try that with Tara Dan.
- 4:33Speaker 1: No, no, no, I'm the trained one, you're the cat. Yeah. Well, uh.
- 4:45Speaker 1: For the experiment conducted. For the experiment conducted in the
- 4:51Speaker 1: university's Clever Dog Lab, each knine faced a scientist on
- 4:55Speaker 1: their knees. A bowl was placed on each side of
- 4:59Speaker 1: the scientist, only one of which contained a hidden treat.
- 5:01Speaker 1: The dogs are then presented with five different scenarios, six
- 5:04Speaker 1: times each. The scientists would point at the ball while
- 5:07Speaker 1: staring at the dog, or point and look at the
- 5:09Speaker 1: bowl at the same time, or only look at the bowl.
- 5:13Speaker 1: They even used the classic prank that many dog owners
- 5:16Speaker 1: playing their pets. They pretended to throw a ball in
- 5:18Speaker 1: the direction of the ball while really keeping it in
- 5:20Speaker 1: their hand. Recordings from the headgear worn by the dogs
- 5:23Speaker 1: showed the dogs fared best when the scientists both pointed
- 5:26Speaker 1: and stared at the bowl that contained the treat. So
- 5:30Speaker 1: there you go.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Who was on their knees?
- 5:36Speaker 1: It's actually a very prudent question. I'm going to read
- 5:38Speaker 1: that sentence againthink.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Sre's face light up.
- 5:47Speaker 4: I was like, I gotta leave this one for him
- 5:49Speaker 4: because I was going to say the same thing.
- 5:52Speaker 1: All right, here's that sentence again for the experiment conducted
- 5:56Speaker 1: in the university's Clever Dog Lab. Each canine faces a
- 6:00Speaker 1: scientists on their knees. So based on that, I think
- 6:05Speaker 1: it's the scientist that's that's on their knees. If it
- 6:10Speaker 1: was the dogs, I'd be even more impressive. And the
- 6:15Speaker 1: ball of place, Yeah, there you go. Okay, so there
- 6:17Speaker 1: you go. You want your dog to pay attention to
- 6:20Speaker 1: a certain thing, point and look at it at the
- 6:22Speaker 1: same time. Congratulations. You may now move about the rest
- 6:26Speaker 1: of your life with this information and hopefully you are
- 6:30Speaker 1: now better prepared to be a dog owner. Also in
- 6:36Speaker 1: dog news, if your pets are microchipped, there is a
- 6:40Speaker 1: company that is based in Texas that has apparently gone
- 6:42Speaker 1: out of business, leaving a number of people wondering, well,
- 6:46Speaker 1: what about what about microchips and my pets? It's not
- 6:51Speaker 1: all bad, according to one of the major microchip manufacturers,
- 6:58Speaker 1: Save This Life. The company is called Save This Life.
- 7:01Speaker 1: They no longer exist due to a franchise tax involuntary
- 7:08Speaker 1: involuntary franchise tax. The business's tax status is not good
- 7:14Speaker 1: according to the Texas Controller's Office, and the registration or
- 7:17Speaker 1: certificate was in it as a result of a tax
- 7:19Speaker 1: forfeiture or administrative forfeiture by the Texas Secretary of State.
- 7:24Speaker 1: If your pets microchip starts with nine to nine to
- 7:26Speaker 1: one or nine zero zero one six ' four, then
- 7:31Speaker 1: you have one of Save This Life's microchips. But according
- 7:35Speaker 1: to one expert, you don't have to worry about it
- 7:40Speaker 1: too much because you can take that current chip and
- 7:43Speaker 1: register it with a new company using the same chip.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I would have to do that. I think both
- 7:53Speaker 4: because they're rescue dogs. I think both of mine were
- 7:57Speaker 4: from that, so I think it's an.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Yeah, well check your records if you have it, and
- 8:03Speaker 1: if not, take them to the vet, have them scan
- 8:04Speaker 1: it real quick, and I'm sure they can give you
- 8:06Speaker 1: a number for one of the other companies to call
- 8:08Speaker 1: it to register. And if you don't have your chip,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I can't talk today. If you don't have your pet microchip,
- 8:17Speaker 1: we highly recommend it here in the treehouse. I also
- 8:21Speaker 1: highly recommend it to your elder family members. We can't
- 8:26Speaker 1: all depend on the silver alerts on the text dot billboards.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I always see those of them who cares if they're lost.
- 8:37Speaker 2: They're lost.
- 8:39Speaker 1: At that I always wonder. I always wonder, are they
- 8:41Speaker 1: really lost or did they run away? Like they're doing
- 8:44Speaker 1: this on purpose, Like maybe there's a reason why they've disappeared.
- 8:47Speaker 1: They don't want to be caught.
- 8:50Speaker 2: My father had dementia.
- 8:51Speaker 4: If that would have come up, I'd been like, sounds good,
- 8:57Speaker 4: keep trucking, buddy.
- 9:01Speaker 1: It's just it's just the Bollywood version of Highway to
- 9:03Speaker 1: Heaven that needs to be remade. I can't wait for
- 9:11Speaker 1: the fight scenes and the dance numbers.

- 9:39Speaker 7: I mean only fans kind of falls into the category
- 9:41Speaker 7: of I guess porn, right, porn, yep, I guess you know,
- 9:46Speaker 7: back in the old days, I mean, we all had
- 9:48Speaker 7: playboys and magazines.
- 9:51Speaker 1: If you're just looking, I think that's more accepted these days.
- 9:55Speaker 1: But what if you're communicating with the model slash portn star.
- 10:00Speaker 7: I know Carrie wouldn't want me to do that.
- 10:02Speaker 1: That to me is the ultimate test. If you wouldn't
- 10:05Speaker 1: do it in front of your significant other, then you
- 10:07Speaker 1: probably shouldn't do.
- 10:07Speaker 5: It right now.
- 10:08Speaker 7: And I'm telling you right now, Carrie would not accept that,
- 10:11Speaker 7: So I know I can't do that kind of stuff.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You're a good man, You're a good husband who has
- 10:15Speaker 1: a good job, and that good job is putting roofs

- 10:20Speaker 1: what happens underneath that roof if their significant other catches
- 10:23Speaker 1: them chatting with porn stars on Only Fans, but.
- 10:26Speaker 7: They could I could start an only fan on top
- 10:28Speaker 7: of people's roofs and we could chat about the roof.

- 11:31Speaker 1: aware that Florida Man is going to Florida all day,
- 11:35Speaker 1: every day, and it's at such a level now where
- 11:39Speaker 1: we have to kind of pick and choose is this
- 11:43Speaker 1: is this the new standard of Florida Man story or
- 11:46Speaker 1: or are we just you know, kind of raking the
- 11:49Speaker 1: bottom of the Everglades. I think this particular story holds
- 11:54Speaker 1: up to the very proud history and tradition of Florida Man. Okay,
- 12:02Speaker 1: I would like to thank Trey once again for sharing
- 12:04Speaker 1: this story with us, because I can again only imagine
- 12:08Speaker 1: what his you know, news alerts must look like each
- 12:11Speaker 1: and every morning when he wakes up. Between Dank DeMoss
- 12:14Speaker 1: and Florida Man, I'm intrigued. So here we go, Florida
- 12:20Speaker 1: Man living up to Florida Man tradition.
- 12:24Speaker 9: Florida Man Episode twenty eight sixty happens every day. Welcome
- 12:29Speaker 9: to Florida.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Now that's a man named Matt Clardy, and he lives
- 12:34Speaker 1: in a neighborhood. And in this neighborhood, something keeps happening.
- 12:37Speaker 1: And now they're going to show a video of what
- 12:39Speaker 1: keeps happening in this Florida neighborhood. Cut to a security
- 12:44Speaker 1: camera overlooking a driveway and a mailbox, and entering screenwright
- 12:49Speaker 1: a man on a lawnmower, and the man on the
- 12:58Speaker 1: lawnmower promptly into the stone reinforced mailbox in the front yard,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and the mailbox doesn't give, so he flips on over
- 13:09Speaker 1: the handlebars of his riding lawnmower, greening and crashing into
- 13:14Speaker 1: the mailbox itself.
- 13:15Speaker 10: He's on it's it's a standing like one of those
- 13:17Speaker 10: standing lawnmowers like that. It's writing, but you're standing, not sitting.
- 13:21Speaker 5: And so then he promptly.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Stop.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Let's enjoy that again. He is so still, He really
- 13:37Speaker 1: is so still when he is approaching the mailbox. I
- 13:44Speaker 1: don't know if it's if if he's just stoic like
- 13:49Speaker 1: like he's Spartacus on a chariot going into battle, or
- 13:56Speaker 1: if he is just so drunkenly oblivious to what's in
- 14:00Speaker 1: front of him. I'm not sure. Let's watch one more
- 14:03Speaker 1: time and then we'll play the rest.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Of the story.
- 14:06Speaker 9: Here happens every day, does Welcome to Florida.
- 14:16Speaker 11: You should be arrested and thrown.
- 14:19Speaker 2: For driving while intoxicated on a lawn.
- 14:21Speaker 11: The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man
- 14:25Speaker 11: riding a lawnmower mowed down at least two mailboxes.
- 14:30Speaker 5: All Robert, You're visited it, I'll think, Oh, yes, you did.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you are.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Yeah, let's see.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I don't think the guy flipping over the lawnmower against
- 14:42Speaker 1: the mailbox is the only drunk one in this story.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I need I need you to take a deep breath ride,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and I need you to listen. Okay, listen very closely.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Okay, it on a lawnmower.
- 14:54Speaker 11: The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man
- 14:58Speaker 11: riding a lawnmower mode down at least two mailboxes off
- 15:02Speaker 11: Robin Road in San Carlos Park.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, so he's got the drainage ditch behind the mailbox
- 15:10Speaker 1: that he's just run into. And as he tries to
- 15:13Speaker 1: stand up right after he flips over his lawnmower and
- 15:17Speaker 1: into the mailbox, he's now in this drainage ditch and
- 15:20Speaker 1: he has difficulties standing straight up, so much so that
- 15:22Speaker 1: he ends up falling down in it.
- 15:25Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure that's me.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I don't know what you did last night?
- 15:32Speaker 2: Was this spring break? Ninety six?
- 15:35Speaker 1: Also when you seriously, I think something's wrong with the
- 15:38Speaker 1: reporter here, listen to her.
- 15:38Speaker 5: Voice, law, what is it? Trey? I don't know where
- 15:44Speaker 5: I what city this is out of, but clearly no
- 15:48Speaker 5: one taught them that.
- 15:51Speaker 10: You do the voice over after you slow down the video.
- 15:55Speaker 1: That's exactly what happened, because when they're showing the replay
- 15:58Speaker 1: of the security camera footage, they slow it down, so
- 16:01Speaker 1: they put the man in slow mo flopping around in
- 16:03Speaker 1: the front yard. But Trey's right, they also put the
- 16:06Speaker 1: reporter's voice over in slow mo. So this this this
- 16:12Speaker 1: might be an inception level Florida story. Okay, so here
- 16:15Speaker 1: listen this again.
- 16:17Speaker 2: He should be arrested and thrown a jail for driving long.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Now here's a slow montoxicated on a lawnmower.
- 16:24Speaker 11: The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man
- 16:28Speaker 11: riding a lawnmower mowed down at least two mailboxes a
- 16:33Speaker 11: Robin Road in San Carlos Park. Deputies are working to
- 16:37Speaker 11: identify the man behind the wheel.
- 16:39Speaker 9: Egregious, absolutely disgusting, but it's so funny. I can watch
- 16:44Speaker 9: it one hundred times. I hope they hope they get him.
- 16:47Speaker 11: Friday afternoon, Michael Samulinsky's mailbox was destroyed. His neighbor had
- 16:53Speaker 11: it all on video.
- 16:54Speaker 7: She said, this is probably going to be the most
- 16:57Speaker 7: Fliridian experience you've ever experienced.
- 17:01Speaker 11: Just a few hundred feet down the road another mailbox
- 17:04Speaker 11: was hit somehow, it's still standard. Neighbors say, the man
- 17:08Speaker 11: left a steeler's hat and a pair of sunglasses behind.
- 17:12Speaker 9: You, and.
- 17:17Speaker 2: The mailbox made a stone.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it held it. It held firm, held
- 17:23Speaker 1: its ground.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Yeah he didn't. No, no, he's not.
- 17:27Speaker 1: And there's nothing firm about that guy other than his
- 17:29Speaker 1: resolve to get wherever he's going on that lawnmower. Because
- 17:32Speaker 1: after he falls into the drainage that he gets up,
- 17:35Speaker 1: gets back on the lawnmower, reverses, and then goes on
- 17:38Speaker 1: about his mailbox crashing quest. But then he leaves behind
- 17:43Speaker 1: some essential items.
- 17:45Speaker 11: Neighbors say, the man left a steeler's hat and a
- 17:48Speaker 11: pair of sunglasses behind.
- 17:50Speaker 10: You, and I hope you at least paid for these
- 17:53Speaker 10: mailboxes to be fixed.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Be a man and turn yourself in because you shouldn't be.
- 17:59Speaker 2: You shouldn't be doing.
- 17:59Speaker 11: This in San Carlos Park, Madison Adams, Golf Coast News.
- 18:06Speaker 2: It's the greatest thing I've ever seen.
- 18:09Speaker 4: The gymnast hitting the pommel horse in the chest is
- 18:14Speaker 4: now second to this man hitting a stone mailbox.
- 18:19Speaker 9: Happens every day. Welcome to Florida.

- 19:33Speaker 1: with you inside the Treehouse tray. What was the observation
- 19:36Speaker 1: you were just making about the the Florida man lawnmower,
- 19:39Speaker 1: about the Florida lawnmower man crashing into the neighborhood mailboxes.
- 19:43Speaker 5: I'm worried that Florida man is becoming self aware, which
- 19:45Speaker 5: which could present problems in the future because self aware
- 19:49Speaker 5: Florida man might not do Florida man things.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That's true, we don't want Florida man on you know.
- 19:55Speaker 10: However, good behavior, alcohol and bath salts will probably you know,
- 20:00Speaker 10: ease self awareness.
- 20:02Speaker 1: That combination will always win in the end.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, we're aware. I don't think he's aware.
- 20:09Speaker 1: The tray is right because in that story, the first
- 20:12Speaker 1: guy talks about how it's such it's a very Florida
- 20:15Speaker 1: man story. And then another neighbor that they talk to
- 20:18Speaker 1: in that news package also says it's an extreme Florida
- 20:22Speaker 1: man Florida story. So while the Florida man that is
- 20:27Speaker 1: doing these things may not be self aware, the men
- 20:32Speaker 1: of Florida in general seem to be, which is good.
- 20:34Speaker 1: It's a start. You gotta start somewhere. And speaking of
- 20:38Speaker 1: being self aware, I don't know if any of us,
- 20:41Speaker 1: or I don't know if you will ever be more
- 20:43Speaker 1: self aware or perhaps self conscious than when you're trying
- 20:48Speaker 1: to ask out a woman. It's an extremely nerve racking
- 20:52Speaker 1: thing that most men go through, but not anymore apparently,
- 20:59Speaker 1: because according to new research, and this is really eye opening,
- 21:04Speaker 1: almost fifty percent of men aged eighteen to twenty five
- 21:08Speaker 1: have never asked out a woman in person.
- 21:15Speaker 2: YEP, sounds about right.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Forty five percent of men eighteen to twenty five have
- 21:20Speaker 1: never approached a woman in person for a date. That
- 21:22Speaker 1: is mind boggling. The study was done by date psychology,
- 21:28Speaker 1: The trend is attributed to increased risk aversion among younger men,
- 21:33Speaker 1: with many fearing rejection or social consequences. Seventy four percent
- 21:39Speaker 1: of women aged twenty five and below expressed a desire
- 21:42Speaker 1: to be approached more often. So we're seeing it on
- 21:46Speaker 1: both sides. Men are afraid to ask out women in
- 21:49Speaker 1: that age group, and women in that age group want
- 21:52Speaker 1: to be asked out. So now we're just kind of
- 21:55Speaker 1: at an impasse. It's no man's land.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it's this generation. It's it's the phone.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Right, you can swipe right, you can hinge, you can tender,
- 22:06Speaker 4: you can text, grinder.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, all of that stuff.
- 22:10Speaker 1: So it is act you're at you're right, it's all
- 22:12Speaker 1: those things. But in addition to those things, the larger picture,
- 22:16Speaker 1: while still related to the phone, is the backlash opportunities
- 22:20Speaker 1: for backlash. Let's say let's say a zoomer is out
- 22:26Speaker 1: and he wants to approach a fellow female zoomer at
- 22:31Speaker 1: a bar. Well, chances are he's going to stand out
- 22:35Speaker 1: because it doesn't happen anymore. So she's probably gonna have
- 22:37Speaker 1: her phone out recording the altercation that's about to occur.
- 22:41Speaker 1: And then when it goes poorly, which most of the
- 22:43Speaker 1: time it does if we're being honest, then she's gonna
- 22:47Speaker 1: post that on social media and everyone's going to see
- 22:52Speaker 1: what happened. Everyone's going to see him crash and burn,
- 22:55Speaker 1: and all he wants to do is just is just
- 22:57Speaker 1: talk to a pretty girl, and now his life is ruined.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Why can't women approach men?
- 23:04Speaker 4: Like it's saying women want to be approached, so why
- 23:07Speaker 4: don't they do the approaching.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I don't know. That's a great question, Rosh. And this
- 23:13Speaker 1: is not a brand new topic for us to tackle
- 23:15Speaker 1: here inside the Treehouse, because we talked about this just
- 23:18Speaker 1: to you know, two three weeks ago about how women
- 23:21Speaker 1: today want to be approached but men are afraid to
- 23:23Speaker 1: do it because of so many bad things that could
- 23:28Speaker 1: possibly happen. Tracy's this all the time when he's in
- 23:30Speaker 1: the bars.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I was gonna say that, you work, you see
- 23:33Speaker 4: women that want to be approached that and guys don't
- 23:35Speaker 4: do it.
- 23:37Speaker 10: Oh absolutely, I mean guys at this point are very gunshy,
- 23:44Speaker 10: especially and that's on top of the fact that just
- 23:48Speaker 10: gen Z as a whole is kind of socially awkward.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Yeah, Like, they they don't want to be social.
- 23:56Speaker 2: No, because it's just texting or social media.
- 24:00Speaker 10: Or you know, whatever they're they're they're not good at long,
- 24:07Speaker 10: long form of communication. I guess you would say, I
- 24:09Speaker 10: mean and and speaking or anything. Because everything they've done
- 24:13Speaker 10: in their whole lives has been abbreviated texting.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Uh.
- 24:18Speaker 5: They hardly ever talk on the phone.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Entertainment's been abbreviated. Have you guys ever watched you know,
- 24:24Speaker 1: kid shows in the last ten years? No, Dan, whether
- 24:28Speaker 1: it's on TV, which really most of an art anymore,
- 24:30Speaker 1: it's just, you know, it's on iPads and stuff. It's
- 24:34Speaker 1: all it's all extremely short, quick bursts, and they always
- 24:38Speaker 1: have to come with the photo sensitive disclaimer because it
- 24:41Speaker 1: might cause seizures. What did you say, Trey, I missed.
- 24:44Speaker 5: It, Dan. Uh. What you asked if we've watched kids
- 24:50Speaker 5: shows in last ten years? So I said, no, Dan,
- 24:52Speaker 5: we haven't.
- 24:52Speaker 10: And now it leads to a far bigger question, why
- 24:56Speaker 10: are you watching children's shows?
- 24:57Speaker 5: Dan, I'm not.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Clearly you are, clearly you are.
- 25:02Speaker 1: No, I'm not. I'm just it's like when you go
- 25:04Speaker 1: out these days and you see a kid with an iPad.
- 25:07Speaker 1: You I'm a generally curious person I'm curious to see
- 25:11Speaker 1: what they're watching.
- 25:12Speaker 5: Did you know what kids shows are like the last
- 25:14Speaker 5: ten years?
- 25:15Speaker 2: No?
- 25:18Speaker 4: And when I see a kid with an iPad, I
- 25:21Speaker 4: want to punch him. I don't want to watch what
- 25:22Speaker 4: he's watching.
- 25:25Speaker 1: You guys aren't curious about that at all. And Trey,
- 25:27Speaker 1: your last serious relationship, you know there were kids involved.
- 25:30Speaker 1: You never saw what they were watching.
- 25:32Speaker 5: I tried to ignore it.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Oh maybe that's part of but Nan, I was at
- 25:37Speaker 1: that point.
- 25:38Speaker 5: I was around kids and it was natural. You aren't.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Yeah, where are these kids everywhere?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Everywhere you go. I'm not gonna be You are not
- 25:51Speaker 1: going to put me in a corner like this.
- 25:57Speaker 2: No, No one puts Nickelodeon in the corner.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'm an observant person. You see a bunch of kids,
- 26:06Speaker 1: you know, running around with iPads and stuff. I'm curious
- 26:08Speaker 1: what they're watching. And it's a bunch of flashy uh
- 26:11Speaker 1: you know sees you're inducing things going on.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Did you buy a white van?
- 26:16Speaker 2: Dan? What kind of Kennedy do you use? Just go
- 26:24Speaker 2: Classic Chocolate or roadblocks?

- 27:02Speaker 1: You heard Raj mention it just a little while ago,
- 27:04Speaker 1: but I'll restate it here for you. If you like
- 27:07Speaker 1: the tree House Show, then you will love us on
- 27:09Speaker 1: social media. So be sure you can give us a
- 27:11Speaker 1: follow at tree House on Air across all the major
- 27:14Speaker 1: social media platforms. That's at tree House on Air to
- 27:19Speaker 1: follow us on social media. And speaking of us, I'm Dan,
- 27:22Speaker 1: that's Trey. He's Raj. And while I'm addressing the two
- 27:26Speaker 1: of you, you both just from the last time I
- 27:29Speaker 1: was carrying over into this one today is Thursday, February thirteenth,
- 27:35Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. We were just talking earlier about one
- 27:40Speaker 1: of the traditions of Florida. Man. The good news is
- 27:44Speaker 1: other states sometimes feel left out and want to be
- 27:46Speaker 1: involved in the stupidest of stupid news stories. And that's
- 27:50Speaker 1: where East Texas would like to enter the conversation. Game
- 27:58Speaker 1: Wardens in Texas recently caught a man hunting illegally from
- 28:02Speaker 1: a porta potty. Now I'm sure what I think that's
- 28:11Speaker 1: called cruising? Did I say deer hunter or no?
- 28:21Speaker 2: He just hunting illegal?
- 28:22Speaker 1: Man. You're right, yeah, I could see how that would
- 28:25Speaker 1: be confusing. I'm gonna a deer hunter. At least that's
- 28:28Speaker 1: what he claims. A man claiming to be hunting deer
- 28:34Speaker 1: was recently apprehended by game wardens in East Texas because
- 28:39Speaker 1: he says he was hunting deer from a porta potty. Now,
- 28:46Speaker 1: it's not illegal to hunt from a porta potty. The
- 28:49Speaker 1: reason I'm saying that is because the way I read
- 28:52Speaker 1: the headline, that's the question I had. It's like, well,
- 28:55Speaker 1: you can't from a port Uh. That wasn't the issue.
- 28:59Speaker 1: The issue was that he took this porta potty and
- 29:01Speaker 1: he set it up on someone else's land without asking permission.
- 29:08Speaker 1: So that's what got him in trouble. So he got
- 29:12Speaker 1: this porta potty, set it up on someone else's property.
- 29:15Speaker 1: He also spray painted it so it would, you know,
- 29:19Speaker 1: blend into the woods. So we had like a Camo
- 29:21Speaker 1: motif spray painted onto this porta potty that he was
- 29:25Speaker 1: using as a deer blind. The thing is, though I
- 29:30Speaker 1: don't know how good of a hunter he is, but
- 29:31Speaker 1: he's very poor at trying to camouflage things. So I'm
- 29:36Speaker 1: gonna show you now the porta potty that he spray
- 29:39Speaker 1: painted to a camouflage design. You tell me if that
- 29:46Speaker 1: looks like a proper Chemo motif or if that just
- 29:50Speaker 1: looks like someone got really drunk with black, brown and
- 29:53Speaker 1: green canvas spray paint.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Was he deer hunting or is it a mo glory whole?
- 30:04Speaker 4: He was definitely looking for bucks.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Texas game board.
- 30:18Speaker 1: You really know how to ruin a good time seven
- 30:22Speaker 1: or bigger. You'd imagine what his living room looks like.
- 30:29Speaker 2: He's more of a catch and release guy.
- 30:36Speaker 4: I've never gone hunting in my life, but I if
- 30:39Speaker 4: that's camel, I think that looks okay, like, you know,
- 30:44Speaker 4: if you're trying to get truckers or don't. I don't
- 30:46Speaker 4: know what he's trying to catch, but it's very appealing.
- 30:54Speaker 4: I don't know how that works.
- 30:55Speaker 5: But here Bucky, Bucky, big strong, dear.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Well, I mean, I, oh baby, do you think he's
- 31:14Speaker 4: ever said oh, Bambie.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Right after the knock?
- 31:28Speaker 4: I think he's more of a Rudolph Blitzing kind of guy.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Answer there it is.
- 31:48Speaker 3: You're in the treehouse.

- 32:41Speaker 1: Raj Sharma. Quick question related to the previous segment talking
- 32:46Speaker 1: about the hunter in the porta potty in East Texas
- 32:51Speaker 1: in the original village people, where any of those guys
- 32:54Speaker 1: dressed as a hunter?
- 33:00Speaker 2: Uh?
- 33:01Speaker 4: Construction worker? Construction worker? Oh don't you the guy that
- 33:08Speaker 4: nobody remembers from the village people?
- 33:11Speaker 1: All right, so let's start over. So you got construction worker,
- 33:14Speaker 1: police officer, cowboy.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Native American, Native American m big buck hunter?
- 33:29Speaker 1: Found one.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Who was the fifth guy?
- 33:37Speaker 5: All right?
- 33:37Speaker 1: Construction worker police officer?
- 33:40Speaker 5: Uh, sailor Oh, the most obvious.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Hike hard?
- 33:47Speaker 1: Maybe not anyway. Uh, let's do birthdays. Today is Thursday,
- 33:54Speaker 1: February thirteenth, twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate with some birthdays today.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Prince Michael Jackson Junior is twenty eight today. That is
- 34:05Speaker 1: the son of pop legend Michael Jackson and w Rowe.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Daniel Portman from Game of Thrones is thirty three. He
- 34:15Speaker 1: played Padrick Payne. Mina Souvari turns forty six. She's Heather
- 34:20Speaker 1: in the American Pie movies, Kevin Spacey's Downfall in American Beauty.
- 34:25Speaker 1: She's the one that was in the middle of the Roses. Also,
- 34:30Speaker 1: Randy Moss retired NFL Legend and Hall of Famer. He's
- 34:34Speaker 1: forty eight today. British pop singer Robbie Williams is fifty one.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I feel like I saw a headline with Robbie Williams
- 34:43Speaker 1: recently something about how he can't even be recognized on
- 34:46Speaker 1: the street anymore. He had gone from the height of fame.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Now he's just completely obscure and people don't even recognize him.
- 34:56Speaker 4: I guess height of fame is an understand they had
- 35:00Speaker 4: when Take, the band was called Take that when they disbanded,
- 35:05Speaker 4: they in England had to have a hotline because so
- 35:09Speaker 4: many people I think there was four or five in
- 35:13Speaker 4: the first week, committed suicide Jesus, So they had to
- 35:17Speaker 4: have a hotline that you could call into and then
- 35:19Speaker 4: they would talk you off the ledge.
- 35:23Speaker 1: All because the boy band broke up mm hmm.
- 35:27Speaker 10: And he maintained a level of popularity there that I mean,
- 35:31Speaker 10: it didn't really.
- 35:33Speaker 5: Translate over here, but for years and years he was huge.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I think he's on the Voice Australia. I think
- 35:42Speaker 4: he's one of the judges. He owns a castle. He's fine, everybody.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I don't He'll be okay, he's he's he's hit.
- 35:50Speaker 1: He's hit some of the highest, uh, you know, peaks
- 35:54Speaker 1: that any human can as far as fame, notoriety, probably
- 35:58Speaker 1: you know riches as well. So some people's fame is
- 36:02Speaker 1: more fleeting than others. Most of us never never touch it, so,
- 36:05Speaker 1: you know, good on him forgetting it. And honestly, it
- 36:08Speaker 1: might be a bit of a gift because if you're
- 36:10Speaker 1: able to be that well known, that famous, that wealthy
- 36:13Speaker 1: that quickly and then it fizzles out, that might be
- 36:16Speaker 1: a blessing because then you can just kind of enjoy
- 36:18Speaker 1: if you were smart with your money. You can enjoy
- 36:21Speaker 1: the anonymity after the fact, along with the money that
- 36:25Speaker 1: you earned and hopefully saved.
- 36:28Speaker 4: And he also has the greatest story if you're on YouTube,
- 36:33Speaker 4: just pull it up with Graham Norton of a little
- 36:36Speaker 4: Morning Glory.
- 36:39Speaker 2: From a fan in his house.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Oh okay.
- 36:44Speaker 4: He woke up and there was a lady. He thought
- 36:47Speaker 4: that was the cleaning lady, and she's like, do you
- 36:52Speaker 4: are you?
- 36:53Speaker 2: Are you up?
- 36:56Speaker 4: And he was young and said yeah, and then she
- 37:00Speaker 4: proceeded to pleasure him clean.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Huh clean.
- 37:05Speaker 1: He said he thought she was the cleaning lady, and
- 37:08Speaker 1: then she cleaned him up.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 37:11Speaker 4: And he went down to one of his buddies, like
- 37:14Speaker 4: the cleaning lady is weird, and they're like, no, that's
- 37:17Speaker 4: Cheryl from the pub. So it was just it was
- 37:22Speaker 4: just a random lady that got into his house.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Well better than being murdered.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's good housekeeping.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I can't even get a mint on my pillow.
- 37:38Speaker 5: You know, you're a rock star, win.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:44Speaker 1: The poors don't get woken up in such a fashion,
- 37:47Speaker 1: at least not my strangers they end up in. So
- 38:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna laugh about so much from this show all
- 38:05Speaker 1: damn day you uh so? You said after uh so?
- 38:10Speaker 1: The the boy band Robbie Williams was in. Uh And
- 38:14Speaker 1: then people committed suicide because they were so multiple.
- 38:17Speaker 2: People, yeah, multiple multiple. I think it was girls. Multiple
- 38:21Speaker 2: girls committed suicide.
- 38:23Speaker 1: If you know, if I've wondered this a couple of
- 38:29Speaker 1: times over the years. If you're going into a boy
- 38:32Speaker 1: if you're going into a boy band scenario like you're
- 38:36Speaker 1: what you wondered about, Dan, This is Nickelodeon.
- 38:39Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 38:40Speaker 4: Dan?
- 38:42Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying.
- 38:45Speaker 1: No. All I'm saying is if you.
- 38:48Speaker 5: Are in a room and you're surrounded by a boy band.
- 38:51Speaker 1: No, I'm just saying. If you're a If you're a
- 39:00Speaker 1: you're dancer and someone shows up trying to recruit you,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I'm glad you're having fun.
- 39:15Speaker 2: The audiences.
- 39:20Speaker 1: If you're a singer, you're a dancer, you're very talented,
- 39:23Speaker 1: and some guy shows up and says he wants you
- 39:25Speaker 1: to groom or he wants to groom or get you
- 39:28Speaker 1: to join this boy Ben, I'm just gonna stop.

- 40:15Speaker 1: Talk back to the Treehouse today at Treehouse on Air
- 40:18Speaker 1: dot com. That's Treehouseonair dot com Daniel Malley along with
- 40:22Speaker 1: Trade Trenholm and Raj Sharma, just one more piece of
- 40:27Speaker 1: business here inside the Treehouse on Thursday, February thirteenth, twenty
- 40:31Speaker 1: twenty five. We all remember the Titan submersible and the
- 40:35Speaker 1: tragedy that befelled it. As it reached a certain depth,
- 40:40Speaker 1: it imploded, killing all a board. It's been not really
- 40:48Speaker 1: a mystery because they know what happened. I think one
- 40:51Speaker 1: of the mysteries is trying to figure out who would
- 40:54Speaker 1: get on that thing. So there is a fascination to
- 40:59Speaker 1: the Tye and submersible story, and we're guilty of we
- 41:03Speaker 1: followed it. I follow it fairly closely. Anytime I see
- 41:07Speaker 1: a headline with Titan submersible, I have a tendency to
- 41:10Speaker 1: click on it, especially when I see a headline that
- 41:13Speaker 1: says the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. NOAH has released
- 41:22Speaker 1: the sounds of what they believe to be the titaned
- 41:25Speaker 1: submersible explosion. This is new just this week, so NOAH
- 41:32Speaker 1: has released the sounds that they believe are the sounds
- 41:37Speaker 1: that the Titan submersible made as it exploded. And we're
- 41:40Speaker 1: going to share that with you now inside the treehouse.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Did you guys catch it?
- 41:58Speaker 3: So?
- 41:58Speaker 2: Did they?
- 42:03Speaker 5: One more time?
- 42:05Speaker 1: Newly released audio from Noah the Audio Recorder documenting the
- 42:11Speaker 1: suspected sounds of the Titan submersible implosion of twenty twenty three.
- 42:27Speaker 2: So sad, so sad.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Look for anyone that ever thinks we are crude, rude,
- 42:44Speaker 1: mean towards any of the subjects in these news stories. Yeah,
- 42:51Speaker 1: but but if we were the subjects in any of
- 42:57Speaker 1: these news stories, I would not only expect, but I
- 42:59Speaker 1: would hope that you guys would make fun of this.
- 43:03Speaker 1: If I got into that sub and it imploded two
- 43:07Speaker 1: miles beneath the surface of the ocean, I want you
- 43:10Speaker 1: to make fun of me for it.
- 43:13Speaker 10: Okay, let's go go back to the first story of
- 43:18Speaker 10: the day.
- 43:18Speaker 5: You're talking about training dogs.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yeah, Austrian science revealed how to get dogs to pay
- 43:25Speaker 1: attention and.
- 43:26Speaker 10: They got on their knees and they pointed and stared.
- 43:29Speaker 10: Is that how how Tara has used trained for the strap?
- 43:36Speaker 2: Does she just point and stare at the poor putty
- 43:40Speaker 2: in there now you both.
- 43:46Speaker 4: And also, how can you tell the difference between that
- 43:49Speaker 4: sound and a whale fart?
- 43:50Speaker 2: I don't know how. Who gets that job? Give it
- 43:57Speaker 2: to Steve. He knows the difference.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I think that's I think that's the I think that's
- 44:02Speaker 1: a blue whale. This one, this one, sir, Yeah, that's
- 44:07Speaker 1: a tube of idiots.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Either way we ever, Yeah, if we ever start a band,
- 44:16Speaker 4: it's gonna be called tube of idiots.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Uh, apropos of nothing. I had this thought earlier today.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Have you guys ever been so hard that you couldn't
- 44:29Speaker 1: look back at it?
- 44:35Speaker 2: Just me? I need the question again?
- 44:39Speaker 1: All right, hang on, have you ever been so hard
- 44:45Speaker 1: that you can't look back?
- 44:48Speaker 2: H I'm usually not the one in the front.
- 44:55Speaker 5: Thank you.
