- 0:13Hello, you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the Hawkgirl Energy Podcast.
- 0:17I'm your host, Kaylee, and this is your weekly reminder that it's
- 0:20a new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day
- 0:23for you to become the Hawkgirl Energy you want to attract. Happy Tuesday,
- 0:27you guys. For you guys, it is August. Oh my god,
- 0:33guys, how we already at August fifteenth, already fifteen days into August.
- 0:38I feel like I recorded the August first episode last week, Like, oh
- 0:43my god, time it's going by so fast. But today is Saturday.
- 0:47For me, it is the gloomiest and the rainiest day. I honestly was
- 0:54like, you know what, I'm gonna take the opportunity now and record the
- 0:57episode just because what else is there to do in the rain? Honestly,
- 1:00like the sun's not shining, I'm stuck indoors, and I'm like, you
- 1:03know what, I'm gonna get some work done. I'm going to be a
- 1:06productive girl and get my shit together. So that is why we are recording
- 1:11today's episode on a Saturday. But in terms of weekend plans, I don't
- 1:18have much going on this weekend. I haven't seen the most recent episode of
- 1:23the summer I Turned Pretty, which I'm like dying to see, so I'm
- 1:26hoping I have time tonight to do so, So let me know if you
- 1:30guys love that series. I'm currently obsessed with it, Like it has been
- 1:34my favorite thing to watch, and it is kind of cheesy, but like
- 1:40they do a good job of making it cheesy, if that makes sense.
- 1:42Like the acting is not the greatest, but I still love it. I
- 1:45think the storyline is just so so cute. And what team are you guys
- 1:49on. Are you guys on Team Jeremiah or Team Conrad? I really don't
- 1:55know what side to pick. I feel like it's too difficult of a choice
- 1:59to make. But yeah, if you haven't started watching the series, guys,
- 2:02you really need to start watching it. It is so good. But
- 2:06I've been so obsessed with it, so my weekend plans, I'm hoping for
- 2:09tonight to catch up on that. Last night Zach and I on Friday we
- 2:15made a steak dinner, which was so good, and then we went to
- 2:19the vineyards. I've been wanting to do this on my summer bucket list of
- 2:23everything that I want to get done. I've shared it in an episode before.
- 2:27But there's just a few things that I want to do before the summer
- 2:30ends, and going to a winery was one of them. So we have
- 2:35this vineyard in carp called the Kin Vineyards, and it's so so beautiful.
- 2:39We went at sunset. We had a flight each and then a glass of
- 2:44our favorite wine that we had within the flight, and yeah, it was
- 2:49such a fun little date night with Zach. And then now we're here.
- 2:52It's Saturday. As I said, it's rainy, it's just going to be
- 2:54a really chill day. And tonight it's my parents wedding Ediverse Street, and
- 3:00I said to them, I'm like, listen, I know you guys probably
- 3:04want to have a little intimate dinner just you two, like I can watch
- 3:07your dogs whatever. And she's like, no, no, like we want
- 3:09you there, we want you and Zach there, we want your sister there.
- 3:12And I'm like, really, like it's your thirtieth anniversary, like don't
- 3:16you guys just want to go, like you two And she's like no,
- 3:19no, like we really want to go as a family. And I mean,
- 3:21obviously I'm not going to say no to a free dinner at Giovanni's,
- 3:23which is this really nice Italian restaurant. So I'm very excited to have some
- 3:28pasta tonight, probably more wine, so a lot of good eating and a
- 3:32few glasses of wine, which I'm not complaining about. And then for tomorrow,
- 3:37it's supposed to be a nice day tomorrow, but I do need to
- 3:39do some of my Sunday reset things. I feel like I have not been
- 3:44in my Sunday reset game this summer, and there's a reason for that.
- 3:49I feel like I used to be so strict on myself when it came to
- 3:53Sundays, saying like, Okay, I have to do this, Like I
- 3:55you know, if I don't do this reset, I'm not going to have
- 3:58a good week, basically, is what I would put in my mindset.
- 4:01And I've been really trying to take advantage of this beautiful summer weather. So
- 4:05I've been trying to balance like half of a Sunday reset, So IM not
- 4:10doing everything that I typically do, but just like half the things like maybe
- 4:14wash my bedding and you know, do grocery shopping and that's it, and
- 4:16then the other things that I never did on that Sunday I'll do on Monday.
- 4:21So if there's anything that I want to prep for the week, like
- 4:23my green juices or you know, any type of meals that I want to
- 4:27prep for the week, I would do that Monday. So I've only been
- 4:30kind of like half assing my Sunday reset, which I'm not complaining about,
- 4:34just because i feel like one of my intentions this summer was to really be
- 4:39in the outdoors and just really enjoy being outside and just soaking in every minute
- 4:46of it, just because summer is short and it's probably my favorite season,
- 4:49to be honest. So I'm hoping to get back into more of a consistent
- 4:54Sunday reset routine once we get into the fall and winter weather. But for
- 4:58now, I'm enjoy my relaxing Sunday where I'm you know, buy my parents,
- 5:02pool, tanning, and just yeah, enjoying the time there. So
- 5:08that's what I've been doing basically every Sunday is just kind of doing a half
- 5:11a Sunday Reset and then the other half of the day I'm usually at my
- 5:13parents house, spending time with them, enjoying the backyard, usually making dinner
- 5:17with them, all that. So that's kind of been my weekly Sunday.
- 5:23I'm also going to be trying something New tomorrow. I really really want to
- 5:27try overnight oats. I have never tried overnight oats except for when I was
- 5:31in Vancouver. When I was in Vancouver with Trend, we went to this
- 5:34really cute coffee shop in Vancouver called Analog, and it was probably one of
- 5:40the best coffees I've had in a long time. It was very similar to
- 5:43a coffee I had in La called Alfred's. Anyways, we went to this
- 5:46Analog place and we were like, what do we get for breakfast? We
- 5:49were like looking, they had obviously like a lot of quest songs, a
- 5:51lot of muffins, and then I saw an overnight oat like recipe and it
- 5:58was like dried cranberry. It was like very full inspired pumpkin seeds, chia
- 6:02seeds, all that, like all like really really good healthy ingredients, and
- 6:06so I bought that and it was amazing, and I'm like, why have
- 6:11I never done overnight oats. So I'm going to be filming that on TikTok
- 6:14this week and I'm going to be attempting to make my own overnight oats.
- 6:17I might do something similar with like the chia seeds and the pumpkin seeds and
- 6:20the dried cranberries. I might add like some blueberries, bananas, just a
- 6:25little bit of fruit on top, because there was no fruit in the one
- 6:27that I tried. But I think it could be really good with fresh fruit
- 6:30as well. So make sure to follow me in socials if you guys want
- 6:33me, if you guys want to see me attempt that. I'm hoping it
- 6:36tastes as good as what I had at this coffee shop. But I'm very
- 6:41excited. So that is my weekend plans. But I'm very excited to get
- 6:46into this episode. So we're talking about how to be the hottest version of
- 6:50yourself. One thing I want to highlight about this episode is that we are
- 6:55going to be talking about how to become more attractive internally, not externally.
- 6:59I don't want you guys at that. You know, it's all about the
- 7:02way you physically look. It's about how you physically feel and things that you
- 7:06can do to improve your mental health and just make you feel more confident and
- 7:13all that. I wanted to stay a quick second and say a huge thank
- 7:17you to our Den for sponsoring today's episode. If you guys haven't heard of
- 7:21them, our Den has all the best spines when it comes to clothing,
- 7:25accessories, jewelry, shoes, and so much more. So if you're in
- 7:29need of a closet upgrade, our den has everything you need this season,

- 7:38so it's the perfect time to shop for a new season. They have
- 7:41the hottest new sales all season long. Get the refresh you need and shop
- 7:46today. So we're gonna be talking about how to become the hottest version of
- 7:55yourself, how to become the most attractive version of yourself. And yeah,
- 7:59okay, So starting with tip number one, give yourself a pep talk.
- 8:05Talk to yourself in the mirror. How many times have I told you guys,
- 8:07it's so so important to create that positive mindset by talking to yourself in
- 8:13the mirror in a positive way. Tell yourself you're a bad bitch. Being
- 8:16hot is not about what you look on the outside. It's about how you
- 8:18feel in the inside. Tell yourself you look hot. You need to have
- 8:22the mentality that you are confident and that you feel extremely attractive. It's all
- 8:28about that kind of mindset. So if you say it, you will feel
- 8:33it. So make sure to give yourself a pep talk if you're feeling low,
- 8:35or if you're feeling you know, not the greatest about yourself. Obviously,
- 8:41as women and some men may feel this as well. Is that you
- 8:43know, there's times where we feel like we're body shamed or we feel you
- 8:48know, ugly, Like obviously, I've had times where, you know,
- 8:52I have weeks where I'm like, I feel like the ugliest person. Ever.
- 8:56It's not good to have that negative mindset. So if you have a
- 9:00pep talk with yourself, tell yourself that you are attractive and that you are
- 9:03beautiful, you are going to feel like the hottest person in the room just
- 9:07having that positive mindset. This next one, I love dress up for yourself,
- 9:13no one else. What I love about this is that I feel like
- 9:16people always assume that women dress up for the male gaze, when that is
- 9:20not the intention at all. I dress up because I feel good, I
- 9:24feel hot, when I want to wear a cute outfit and feel put together.
- 9:30I'm merely doing it, honestly for myself. I'm not even doing it
- 9:33to look good for my fiance or other men. I'm merely doing it to
- 9:37make me feel confident and for me to feel good because I feel like I
- 9:41never really dress up and putting in the effort when you can, when you're
- 9:45going in on all that it really boost your mood, and it boosts your
- 9:48confidence, and in general, it just makes you feel good on the inside
- 9:50and on the outside. One thing that I've always said to you guys when
- 9:54it comes to having you know, times where you're in a funk or you're
- 9:58feeling low or anything like that, I always always always recommend just putting on
- 10:03a cute outfit and you know, putting a bit of makeup on, like
- 10:07it instantly boosts your mood. So if you're feeling low, or if you're
- 10:09feeling like you're in a funk or something like throwing on a cute workout set,
- 10:13putting on a bit of makeup literally makes the biggest difference, you guys.
- 10:16Know, Like for me working from home, I could easily just wear
- 10:20pajamas all day and put no makeup on and put no effort into anything throughout
- 10:24my day. But I always always always try and create that morning routine for
- 10:28myself, and one of the things that I include in my routine is always
- 10:31putting on a bit of makeup and always putting on a cute workout set because
- 10:33that's something that I'm very comfortable wearing during the day, and it immediately boosts
- 10:39my mood just doing that little step. So sometimes it's all about just dressing
- 10:43up for yourself, no one else, And as I said, it literally
- 10:46makes you feel so good in the inside and the outside. Sometimes I'm not
- 10:50even leaving the house and I'm just dressing up just because it makes me feel
- 10:52good. But if you want to dress up to go get coffee or go
- 10:56to the grocery store, anything like that, it just immediately boosts your mood
- 11:00and it makes you feel so much more confident and attractive. Okay, this
- 11:03next one I actually found through another podcast, and it really like inspired me
- 11:09because I feel like this is definitely something to help you get your spark back.
- 11:16If you're feeling like you are, you know, in a bit of
- 11:20a rut and just like don't know how to get yourself out of it,
- 11:22maybe because you're not happy with how you physically look or something like that.
- 11:28Sometimes getting a new haircut. I know that sounds crazy and it could be
- 11:31the most subtle thing, but I find it getting a haircut or getting your
- 11:35hair done makes the biggest difference. And this could be, like I said,
- 11:39just a few inches off your hair, or getting layers, or getting
- 11:41bangs, or if you want to die at a different color, if you've
- 11:46just been itching to change something about yourself. Sometimes just getting a haircut can
- 11:48really boost your mood and just boost your confidence and make you feel ten times
- 11:52hotter. Like I don't know how to explain it, but that's why I
- 11:56always think these little maintenance appointments like getting your nails done, getting your hair
- 11:58done. Like, I don't want to talk about physical things too much because
- 12:03again, this episode is more about your inner and mental health. But sometimes
- 12:07if you're feeling low and you feel like you're looking for a change or anything
- 12:11like that, sometimes it's nice to change things that you can control, like
- 12:16getting your hair cut. And if it's something that you've been thinking about for
- 12:18a while, for an example, like why not do it. It's a
- 12:20change, it's excitement, it's just something new. Okay. The next one
- 12:26is be yourself. I think this one is so important. This can also
- 12:31go with being yourself when it comes to dressing a certain way, and we're
- 12:35going to get into that because that's technically another tip that I wanted to recommend,
- 12:39But being yourself is so important. Embrace what you have and you need
- 12:43to own it. Being the best version of yourself makes you feel like the
- 12:48hottest version of yourself. It's plain and simple, Like I feel like that
- 12:50needs to be a quote somewhere, like on my laptop. It's like the
- 12:54perfect way of describing like becoming the best version of yourself. Tending to be
- 13:00someone else won't make you feel confident. Like obviously with social media there definitely
- 13:03plays a huge factor in seeing how other people look, or other people dress,
- 13:09or what other people do and all that. But we need to be
- 13:11focusing on doing what's best for yourself and being yourself and doing things that you
- 13:18enjoy verse copying someone else. Like, at the end of the day,
- 13:20you're not going to feel confident if you're trying to copy someone else's life,
- 13:24Like, that's just not going to work. You need to focus on things
- 13:28that you're good at, your strengths and doing things that make you feel like
- 13:33yourself, Like you don't want to dress like someone else and be totally like
- 13:37uncomfortable and not confident. Like, yeah, I don't need to go more
- 13:41into depth about that, but I think it's just important to embrace what you
- 13:43have and own it. Okay, this next one is really really good.
- 13:46It's body language when it comes to like feeling insecure anything like that. Typically
- 13:52people are like hunching, their arms are crossed. You can just tell based
- 13:56off their body language that they're uncomfortable or not confident or just insecure anything like
- 14:01that. The way your body is presented just shows how much confident you have
- 14:07in yourself. And I think it's so important to have a straight back,
- 14:09to put your chest out, and you know, be the hottest woman in
- 14:13the room by literally your body language. And that's all like you presenting like
- 14:18you feel confident within yourself is so visibly shown throughout your body language. Like
- 14:24it's crazy how much of a difference it can make with you being confident in
- 14:28your own skin versus not. If you want to be more attractive, you
- 14:33don't have to change the way you physically look. You can simply just change
- 14:37your body language. Like I said, straightening out your chest, keeping your
- 14:39shoulders back, it's the smallest change that can make you feel so much more
- 14:43attractive and so much more confident. This next one is the one that I
- 14:48talked about which is dressing for your body. This is so so important because
- 14:52I feel like this is definitely something that a lot of women can say they've
- 14:56been a victim too, in terms of dressing like something they're not or dressing
- 15:01like everybody else on social media, but it's not like something that they actually
- 15:05want to wear. They just think it's something that they should wear or you
- 15:09know that's going to you know, capture the male gaze and all that.
- 15:13So going back to that point where I said that you should be dressing for
- 15:16yourself, not for anybody else. You need to dress the way you feel
- 15:18comfortable and you just need to master your own style, make the most of
- 15:22what you got. I have to be honest, like I honestly love dressing
- 15:26like a boy. Like I know that sounds crazy, but I love baggy
- 15:31jeans. I love baggy T shirts, baggy sweaters, oversize everything. When
- 15:35I order any sweater, jacket or anything like that, I'm ordering a size
- 15:39extra large, Like I'm not even over exaggerating, but that's because I feel
- 15:43like I've mastered my own style by finding things that work from my body type.
- 15:46And it's so important to also follow influencers that may have a style that
- 15:52you like. Just show off your best features and dress up and master your
- 15:58own style. So choosing it's that you personally find suit you makes the biggest
- 16:03difference in the room and can instantly just make you feel ten time soaughder.
- 16:07So make sure you master your own style. I find for me when it
- 16:10comes to like finding inspo and all that I find Pinterest is a really really
- 16:12good one. And as I said, just finding Instagram influencers who have really
- 16:18good fashion that I feel like is very similar to my type of taste.
- 16:22I also feel like when it comes to style, it's just something that obviously
- 16:26everyone has their own opinion towards and I think it's important to be unique when
- 16:32it comes to your fashion sense. Okay, Another one is taking care of
- 16:37yourself. So mentally, when it comes to taking care of yourself, I
- 16:41personally think moving your body is the most important thing. You guys know how
- 16:45much working out to me makes me feel so good. And I think for
- 16:49the longest time, when I first started my health and wellness journey and working
- 16:53out and all that, the whole point of me working out was more so
- 16:56to fix the way I love physically and I feel like people have that intention
- 17:03where when they're working out, they're just trying to fix their physical appearance,
- 17:07when an actuality. What people don't realize how much moving your body plays such
- 17:14a big role in your mental health. I personally feel my best when I'm
- 17:18consistent with my workouts. When I have a consistent workout routine throughout the week,
- 17:22that is when I feel my best. To be honest, this week,
- 17:26because I was traveling in Vancouver last week, I haven't really been consistent
- 17:30with my workout routine because there was a bit of a time difference and getting
- 17:33back into it and all that has been a bit difficult, and to be
- 17:37honest, I haven't been feeling one hundred percent this week. I've been feeling
- 17:40like I've been getting a bit sick, and I haven't been consistent with the
- 17:42workout routine, and I just know mentally I haven't been all there. And
- 17:47I know that because my workout routine has not been consistent this week. When
- 17:51I actually work out consistently, that is when my mental health is at its
- 17:55prime. I feel my best. I feel like I look my best everything
- 18:00and my confidence anyways, I can just go like so into this, but
- 18:03it's just so important to find ways that you love to move your body,
- 18:08whether it's walking, running, spinning, workout classes, anything like that.
- 18:14Just know that you need to go in with that mindset that you're working out
- 18:18to make yourself feel good, not to make yourself look like a specific body
- 18:22type or anything like that. At the end of the day, you were
- 18:23working out to make ourselves feel good, not the way we physically look.
- 18:29And working out can also be a way to escape from all your work and
- 18:32your stress or anything like that. Like I personally find when I'm in an
- 18:34extreme stressful situation, I personally like to walk away from whatever I'm doing and
- 18:41go on a long walk. Like to me, that is the most important
- 18:45way for me to just reduce my stress or anything like that. And honestly,
- 18:48personally, right now, like I feel like there's so much going on
- 18:51in my life with work and the wedding and the engagement party, and sometimes
- 18:56it just gets extremely overwhelming with all those things happening at once. For me,
- 19:00if I'm just feeling stressed or anxious or anything like that, I just
- 19:03stop what I'm doing, walk outside for like twenty minutes. I come back
- 19:07and it's almost like a refresh, like I feel like, Okay, I'm
- 19:11ready to get back into this. My mind has you know, completely escaped
- 19:15by going on that walk and just putting on a podcast and I come back
- 19:18and I get back in the zone. Moving your body can also be a
- 19:21great way for you to help with deal with a new stress or anything like
- 19:23that. So yeah, okay, this next one is improve your conversation skills.
- 19:29This is actually something I'm making my September goal, but we're starting early
- 19:33because I have really been inspired lately to start reading, which is so crazy
- 19:41because I feel like I've mentioned it here on the podcast before, but I'm
- 19:45not the biggest reader, to be honest, like, obviously not everybody loves
- 19:48to read, and that's totally okay. I have never been the biggest reader
- 19:53as a kid growing up, and I think it was just because I could
- 19:59never imagine the stories like in the book. I can never picture the story
- 20:03in my mind like some people can really just envision it in their mind and
- 20:07totally like finish a book within three days because they're so invest in the story
- 20:12right where growing up, I felt like I had such a hard time like
- 20:17envisioning the characters or even focusing on the story because I'd be distracted or overwhelmed
- 20:22or anything like that. So I never continued or tried to buy books and
- 20:27actually read, just because I felt like, I'm like, this isn't for
- 20:30me. I just kept saying, this isn't for me, and that's okay,
- 20:33and I'm not going to let this affect me. But lately I've been
- 20:37really inspired to challenge myself and buy a book and try and finish it.
- 20:42So that is something that I'm going to try. Hopefully I get one sometime
- 20:47this week if I have the time to go out and get one. But
- 20:49that is definitely something I really want to do because I really think I can
- 20:52improve my communication skills and I think it will make me feel more confident,
- 20:57you know, communicating with people and just being involved in more conversations and understanding
- 21:02what people are talking about. Just merely just educating myself. I think that
- 21:06can just boost people's competent in general, feeling like you have more knowledge and
- 21:11just more I don't know, I don't really explain it, but basically,
- 21:15I just think me getting into reading is really going to help me, you
- 21:18know, for the future, even like recording podcast episodes or nothing like that,
- 21:22Like I just want to have myself more educated, and I would really
- 21:26love to start reading books that are educational that can help me learn about you
- 21:32know what I talk about with you guys, which is just building habits that
- 21:34can help you, guys, become the better versions of yourself all that.
- 21:37So definitely something that I think is extremely attractive and hot is just being educated
- 21:45and having good communication skills. So that is something that I personally feel like
- 21:48I need to improve on, but it's definitely something that I think is going
- 21:52to help me feel more competent and just feel like the hottest person in the
- 21:56room. Okay, last way to make you feel like the hottest woman in
- 22:02the room is smiling more. It's amazing how much just a smile can make
- 22:07you feel so much more attractive. People respawn to you in such a positive
- 22:12way when they see you smile. Like think about when you're walking down the
- 22:17streets and you see another girl and she has like the biggest bitch face,
- 22:21Like you don't feel like she's approachable, Like you don't want to go near
- 22:23her. You don't want to go up to them because they don't look like
- 22:26the most approachable person in the room. So it's amazing how much a smile
- 22:30can just be responded as a positive energy. And there's actually research that I
- 22:37found that on dating apps, it has been found that smiling can get you
- 22:41more dates. So if you have a lot of smiling pictures on online dating
- 22:44apps, like there's a higher chance for a guy to be more interest in
- 22:48your profile if there's photos of you smiling verse like a serious face or anything
- 22:52like that. So there's something about, as I said, just smiling more.
- 22:56It just makes you look more attractive and makes you look more coroachable.
- 23:00It's just more professional, if that makes sense. So this is your sign
- 23:04to smile more if you haven't been, because it's going to make you feel
- 23:08so much hotter, so much more attractive, and so much more competent.
- 23:12So those are some ways to become the hottest version of yourself. I hope
- 23:18I got the point across of this episode of more being inner and less about
- 23:22how you physically look. I feel like it's important to work on a lot
- 23:26of these things within yourself verse the exterior version of yourself. Like obviously there's
- 23:30some things that you can do externally, like I said, like getting a
- 23:34haircut or anything like that, but know that it's really important to make sure
- 23:38that you've healed your mental health first before doing anything else physically, because I
- 23:45think you're going to feel hotter within more verse your exteriors. So these are
- 23:51just tips that I think can work for yourself if you feel like you haven't
- 23:55been in that mindset lately. And you guys know I'm all about positive mindset,
- 24:02remove any negativity around your environment, and I just think it's so important
- 24:07to do some of these things like give yourself a pep talk, dress up
- 24:11for yourself, be yourself, work on your body language, smile more,
- 24:17dress for your body, take care of yourself, and just improve your communication
- 24:21skills. So those are just some of the ways that I think can really
- 24:23help you become the most attractive person in the room. But thank you guys
