  Speaker 1: hope in a future. So I truly stand on his word,

  Speaker 1: So I'm gonna share the scripture with you guys for today.

  Speaker 1: The scripture for today says, let your eyes look straight ahead,

  Speaker 1: fix your gaze directly before you, give careful thought to
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: the past. For your feet and be stand fast and
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: all your ways. Do not turn to the right, not
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: turn to the left, but keep your feet from evil.
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: And that is Proverbs four twenty five and twenty seven.
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: That is going to be our lesson for today. And
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: let me give you a little backstory. I'm gonna give
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: you a little backstory on that lesson that this particular
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: chapter this Book of Proverbs. Actually I wanna give a
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: little backstory on the Book of Proverbs. So the Book
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: of Proverbs was written primarily by King Solomon. It is
• 6:02
  Speaker 1: a collection of WHI says and life lessons. In chapter four,
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: Solomon is addressing his son and sharing the importance of
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: wisdom and what it means to live a godly life.
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: In Verses twenty five and twenty seven are a father's
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: plea for his child to maintain focus and avoid distractions
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: and deliberately pursue righteousness in a world full of diversion
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: and temptation. Solomon urges us to remain steadfast and purposeful
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: in our walk with God. That is a backstory on this,
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: on this lesson, y'all, And I want to share this
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: because y'all know we were in prayer every day. So
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: on yesterday our overseer with his apostle, doctor Kimberly Thomas
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: out of Tallahassee, Florida, she oversees our prayer line and
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: she was in prayer. She shared something with us yesterday.
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: She covered us and she really shared poured into us
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: on yesterday. And what she was pouring into us was
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: totally about distractions and about not giving up, and about
• 7:09
  Speaker 1: how we speak and those words that we speak over
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: our own self because a lot of us we speak
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: sickness to ourselves. We speak a lot of stuff over ourselves.
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: Instead of speaking life, we're speaking death. So we have
• 7:24
  Speaker 1: to be mindful of those things that we are saying
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: and how we're saying stuff. So we have to be
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: mindful of that. So I'm thankful because I tell you
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: God is faithful, God is truly. He is a man
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: of his word. Because he said that that that he
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: left the comforter with us. He said he will never
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: leave us nor forsake us. So everything that we go through,
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: know that he's always with us with Sometimes we may
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: not feel his presence, we may not even even think
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: that he even hears us or sees the things that
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: we do. But he's there, he sees our And I
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: was just reminded that, y'all, this book was, this book
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: was published, and I have to keep saying it because
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: this book was published December sixth four, So this is
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: today is it's June twenty twenty five, June eleven, twenty
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: twenty five, And everything inside of this book, y'all, has
• 8:22
  Speaker 1: been lining up with every day that we are going
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: for right now, every day every day since I started
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: sharing this book, it's everything has lined up. Even on yesterday,
• 8:34
  Speaker 1: everything that came forth lined up what was in the world,
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: and even here, right here today, it goes back to
• 8:41
  Speaker 1: what was on yesterday. So I tell you, I say
• 8:45
  Speaker 1: that to say this, Know that you're on course. No
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: matter what it looked like, no matter what it feels like,
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: no matter what nobody is saying. Know that you're right
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: where you're supposed to be. I don't care if all
• 8:59
  Speaker 1: hell is breaking in your life right now. Know that
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: there's where you're supposed to be because there's something that
• 9:04
  Speaker 1: you're supposed to be getting out of it. So go
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: through it and posture yourself, poise yourself so that you
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: can go through it with grace, that you can go
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: through it with your head held high, so that He
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: can be glorified in all the things that we do.
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: We're supposed to bring him glory in everything that we do.
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: So we got to praise him through it all. We
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: got to praise him through it all. So these are
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna drop three key points that you can apply
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: this scripture, and you can go back and read the
• 9:37
  Speaker 1: whole book. Go back. I encourage you to go back
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: and read the book, but at least read the chapter
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: chapter four that we're discussing today. So when they say
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: keep your focus forward, it says, let your eyes look
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. That mean,
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: don't look to the left, don't look to the right.

  Speaker 1: Do you want your gays straight ahead? Focus on what
• 10:02
  Speaker 1: you're supposed to do? So how can you do that?
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: Because each day they're gonna be distractions because y'all, we
• 10:08
  Speaker 1: got social media, we got fear pressure, we got worries,
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: we got temptations, we have all those things that are
• 10:14
  Speaker 1: gonna come. And now that we know that they're gonna come,
• 10:18
  Speaker 1: because we've been experiencing this throughout our life, so now
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: we know this is gonna come. So now that we
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: know this is gonna come, and now we got the word,
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: and we're activating the word, and we're in the word,
• 10:27
  Speaker 1: and we can go to the word and apply the
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: word so that we can go through it with grace.
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: These verses encourage us to keep our focus on god
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: giving goals and his calling on our life. So if
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: we stay focused on the things that he's called us to,
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: the things that he told us to do, and stay
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: focused on that, y'all, we can't go wrong. We can't
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: go wrong. That's why it says bring each day in
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: with prayer, asking God to help us stay focused on
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: his will and not to be sidetracked. We got to
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: ask him to lead God and direct us. He's left
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit, so now we got to ask the
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: whole Holy Spirit. We got to ask the Holy Spirit
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: to come in. See a lot of us don't even
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: recognize the Holy Spirit. So then we be wondering why
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: things are not going, why things are not going the
• 11:09
  Speaker 1: way that we want them to go. So we have
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: to allow the Holy Spirit to come in and allow
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit to do his job, because he has
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: a job that he's supposed to be doing. God left
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: him to be the comforter. He's supposed to comfort us.
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: He's supposed to lead God and direct us. So if
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: he's supposed to lead God and direct us, then he
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: is supposed to be in control, not us. So some
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: of us we got to allow that flesh to die.
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: We got to ask God to allow that flesh to
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: die so that spirit man can come up in us
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: and do what it's supposed to do. So I encourage
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: you today keep your focus forward. He say, be thoughtful
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: and deliver it in your choices. That's that free will y'all,
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: that's that free will. See we get that free will.
• 11:52
  Speaker 1: And when we get that free will, sometime, y'all, y'all
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: know what we do when we get the free will.
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: Sometime we don't do what we're supposed to do. We
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: make the wrong choices, and then there we are. Know
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: that we got consequences that we have to that that
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: we have to go through because of free will and
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: the choices that we choose. So be thoughtful and deliver it.

  Speaker 1: In your choices, it say, give careful thought to the
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: path of your feet. Be stabbed fast in all your ways.
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: Y'all stay focused. If he's called you to it, he
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: gonna see you through it. Those books that you're supposed
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: to be writing, get them out. That that testimony that
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: you're supposed to be sharing, share it, because y'all got
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: to understand the test it's only for a moment. It's
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: for a moment so that you can have the testimony
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: so that somebody else can come out. He said, we
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: overcome by hearing and sharing of our testimony. So if
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: you're not, if you're not sharing your testimony, how can
• 12:55
  Speaker 1: someone hear it and come out? You gotta share it,
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: So give give thout, Give thought to that path of
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: your feet, and be steadfast in your ways. Before making decisions,
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: pause consider their impact on your spiritual walk. Are your
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: habits and routines drawing you closer to God? Or is
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: it pulling you away? Is it pulling you away? Or
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: is it drawing you closer? We gotta make it a
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: practice to review our actions in our choices, aiming to
• 13:25
  Speaker 1: honor God and all that we do. Are you honoring
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: God with everything in you? Are you honoring God with
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: your mouth? Are you honoring him with the things that
• 13:36
  Speaker 1: you watch? Are you honoring Him with the things that
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: you listen to, the things that you take in? Now,
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: we gotta honor him. We are to bring him honored.
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: The things that we do should be honoring him. Can't
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: be around here cussing like a sailor and thinking that
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: you're honoring God because you're not. Can't be around here
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: getting drunk. I didn't say not to drink because it
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: and it didn't say you couldn't drink, but he said
• 14:03
  Speaker 1: don't get drunken. So around here getting you're not honoring God.
• 14:09
  Speaker 1: Anything that does not bring him up. Evaluate the things
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: that we're doing, and then we have to make a
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: conscious decision. We have to make a conscious decision to
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: do what's right. The third thing is we have to
• 14:30
  Speaker 1: avoid temptation and stay true to our path. Do not
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: turn to the left, and do not turn to the right.

  Speaker 1: But keep your foot from evil. Y'all. We got to
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: do good. We gotta do right by people. We can't
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: be back biers, we can't. We can't be gossip ers,
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: we can't be hell raisers. We can't do that. We
• 14:56
  Speaker 1: gotta be true to him. And how do we do that?

  Speaker 1: Because we know that life will present many opportunities to stray.

  Speaker 1: We know that we know that there's gonna be a
• 15:09
  Speaker 1: lot of opportunities that's gonna come up, that we're gonna
• 15:12
  Speaker 1: have the opportunity to stray away from God's will. But
• 15:15
  Speaker 1: where you stay true to His will, will you compromise
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: and integrity, shortcuts or negative influence. Commend your walk in
• 15:25
  Speaker 1: the past of integrity and goodness, even when it seems hard,
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: when you seem tempted, remember God always provides a way out.

  Speaker 1: And you can go over and read in First Corinthians
• 15:38
  Speaker 1: ten thirteen. He always provide a way out, y'all. I
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: want you today to remember that the journey of faith
• 15:48
  Speaker 1: is not always easy. There will always be days when distractions, doubt,
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: and discouragement try to pull you off track. But God's
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: word assures us that when you fix your gaze on
• 16:04
  Speaker 1: Him and walk in his wisdom, he will direct your
• 16:08
  Speaker 1: steps and protect your path. So keep pressing forward and fast,
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: even when you can't see what's ahead. Trust the one
• 16:18
  Speaker 1: who sees it all. Now we got to put our
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: trust in him. Your standfastness will not be in vain.
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: God is with you, guiding you and strengthen you in
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: every step of the way. So walk boldly and know
• 16:35
  Speaker 1: He honors your faithfulness. And I pray. My prayer for
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: you is that God may establish your steps, guard your heart,
• 16:46
  Speaker 1: and fill your journey with his peace and purpose. Stay focused,
• 16:51
  Speaker 1: be stab fast, and never give up because God is
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: leading us into something greater. Know that if you're tuned

  Speaker 1: in today, if you're catching it as a clip, if

  Speaker 1: you're catching it as a replay, however you're catching it,

  Speaker 1: know it was for you. Know that God has something
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: for you, something greater. You're greater. You have not seen

  Speaker 1: your greater. He has something greater for you, and it

  Speaker 1: shall come to pass. His word is not gonna return

  Speaker 1: to him. Boy, if we apply this word, it will

  Speaker 1: a manifest in our life. But we gotta apply it.

  Speaker 1: We can't just read it and think that it's gonna
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: jump off the page and jump into our life. No,

  Speaker 1: we have to apply it. We have to bring forth

  Speaker 1: those actions. The words say faith with our works is dead.

  Speaker 1: So we can't just believe that these things are gonna happen.

  Speaker 1: We got to put forth the action, the efforts to

  Speaker 1: make them come to pass. We gotta do it. We
• 17:40
  Speaker 1: gotta do the work. That's what I call it. We

  Speaker 1: got to do the work. We just can't expect something
• 17:46
  Speaker 1: to come forth. We gotta do the work. So I
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: challenge you on today to speak life. The affirmation for
• 17:53
  Speaker 1: today is my eyes are fixed on etern eternal promises,

  Speaker 1: and my past straight. My eyes are fixed on eternal promises,

  Speaker 1: and my past is straight. Keep saying that to yourself,
• 18:09
  Speaker 1: Speak that over yourself, Speak that over your life. Speak

  Speaker 1: it over your life. My eyes is fixed to eternal promises,

  Speaker 1: all those things that he said, those three hundred and
• 18:17
  Speaker 1: sixty five promises that he said that he will give us, y'all,
• 18:22
  Speaker 1: speak it over your life. If someone has ever spoken
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: a word into your life, if someone has prophesied to you,
• 18:28
  Speaker 1: if God has given you a word, y'all, y'all got
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: to keep speaking that word over your life. He said,

  Speaker 1: we have the power of life and death in our tongue,

  Speaker 1: and y'all, we got to begin to speak that. You

  Speaker 1: got to speak to that dead situation so that it

  Speaker 1: can live. You got to speak to that broke situation

  Speaker 1: so that it can be mended. Y'all. It's time to

  Speaker 1: get up and allow your gifts and your talents to

  Speaker 1: come forth. Y'all, everything you need is already in you.

  Speaker 1: Genesis two and seven says he said, that breath of
