- 0:23Speaker 4: and the person is like holding the mic down by
- 0:26Speaker 4: the belly button, and then somebody will come up to
- 0:28Speaker 4: me and be like, you.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Can't hear them. It's like, well, gee, I wonder why.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Maybe it's because the microphone is nowhere near their mouth
- 0:35Speaker 1: but halfway down their body.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Either that or they put their mouths on the microphone
- 0:40Speaker 3: and they're like making out with it.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Yeah, there's no one between.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Some people are afraid of microphone. Not everyone knows how
- 0:46Speaker 1: to use a microphone.
- 0:47Speaker 4: I rather eat it then, I rather eat it than
- 0:49Speaker 4: be too far away from it.
- 0:51Speaker 1: In more ways than one. Watch your mouth.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I'm getting a full view of your feet right now.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I could really make some money. Yeah, look at them,
- 1:00Speaker 3: they're so soft.
- 1:01Speaker 1: They look soft, your feet like they belong in someone's mouth.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Do you mean well, I have been thinking about putting
- 1:11Speaker 4: parts of my body online.
- 1:13Speaker 2: It's not a bad idea.
- 1:14Speaker 3: You can make a lot of money, and you know,
- 1:16Speaker 3: there's a lot of women who do it, but there's
- 1:18Speaker 3: not a lot of men.
- 1:20Speaker 1: So what like porn stars are feet models?
- 1:23Speaker 2: Feet models selling their feet on the line.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I don't know if I can make money doing the
- 1:26Speaker 1: feet thing.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Though they're good feet, there's not like you don't have
- 1:32Speaker 3: like dragonfur toes.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but there's no the nails need work. Look at
- 1:37Speaker 1: the nails.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Go to a pedicurist now.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But I'm not doing that either. I don't want to
- 1:41Speaker 1: you a pedicurist, Like you're like a I don't know,
- 1:43Speaker 1: one of those people that wants to be one, right,
- 1:45Speaker 1: you want to be one of those people that feet. No,
- 1:47Speaker 1: you're wrong, You're wrong.
- 1:49Speaker 4: He's saying this because I happen to enjoy videos online
- 1:53Speaker 4: and we've hit on this before on this podcast. I
- 1:55Speaker 4: happen to enjoy the reels of people with crazy toenails
- 2:00Speaker 4: getting crazy toenails fixed up.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I find it very amusing, amusing.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Have you seen Benny Blancos toenails? Do you know who
- 2:09Speaker 3: Betty Blanco is? Like the producer yeah, I've not seen
- 2:12Speaker 3: Betty blancos to He got a toenails set where it
- 2:16Speaker 3: was a carpet and like there were little fringes on
- 2:19Speaker 3: his toes.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I'm not shiitting you.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's certainly interesting. What's his name?
- 2:26Speaker 4: I just forgot what we were talking about. He married
- 2:28Speaker 4: Selena Gomez feet? He did?
- 2:29Speaker 1: He did? He's got crazy algorithm is gonna hate this
- 2:33Speaker 1: search Betty Benny Benny Blanco feet.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's new and again my my, my foot
- 2:44Speaker 4: thing really isn't a foot thing. It's a nail thing
- 2:46Speaker 4: more so than a foot thing. I'm not a foot guy.
- 2:48Speaker 4: I'm not really into you know, feet are cool, but
- 2:52Speaker 4: what what what really? What really can you do with
- 2:54Speaker 4: a foot? I mean, other than the obvious, which is questionable?
- 3:00Speaker 4: Look that up too. What can you really do?
- 3:04Speaker 1: This is episode sixty by the way, whoa wow, real
- 3:07Speaker 1: episodes sixty sixty. That's Joen Carlson's back. It ve me
- 3:12Speaker 1: to remind people who you are. It's been a while
- 3:13Speaker 1: since you've been here.
- 3:14Speaker 3: I'm Jen Carlson. I am an improviser and improviser. I'm
- 3:19Speaker 3: a local comedian.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I love it.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah, if I use the word comedian, loosely. But that's
- 3:26Speaker 2: what I am.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Also a recovering radio person.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Right, I am a recovering radio person in a.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Safe place here, safe place. Yes, yeah, Look at us,
- 3:36Speaker 1: three recovering radio people. We've all been hurt by the radio.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Let me tell you a story about being hurt by
- 3:42Speaker 1: the radio. This is good. Right.
- 3:44Speaker 4: So I recently was fired, of course, you know about
- 3:47Speaker 4: a month ago now, or so I was. I was
- 3:49Speaker 4: fired unfortunately, yes, me and thousands of other people. It sucked.
- 3:53Speaker 4: But whatever, I'm onward and upward.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:55Speaker 4: However, again, I have a good severance. I'm getting unemployment
- 3:59Speaker 4: now gigs.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's like he's reading books, he's going to the gym.
- 4:03Speaker 4: It's been very good. It's been a very good turn
- 4:06Speaker 4: of that. I don't want to say it's been a
- 4:07Speaker 4: clense for you. It's been a good cleanse exactly. However,
- 4:10Speaker 4: I get a letter in the mail the other two
- 4:11Speaker 4: days ago, I get a letter in the mail from
- 4:13Speaker 4: Pennsylvania Unemployment and it's in big bold letters. It's like
- 4:17Speaker 4: you are about to lose your unemployment benefits.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Oh what you do?
- 4:22Speaker 4: I didn't register for the PA Career Link, which I
- 4:27Speaker 4: told you you had to do.
- 4:28Speaker 1: That Okay, maybe maybe you did. I did. You have
- 4:32Speaker 1: to apply for jobs? So you have to apply for jobs.
- 4:34Speaker 4: I thought that when you go in every week, they
- 4:37Speaker 4: basically ask you every single week. I do it every Monday,
- 4:39Speaker 4: They ask you, did you get a job last week?
- 4:41Speaker 4: Did you make any money last week? How much did
- 4:43Speaker 4: you make every week? Every week you go on and
- 4:45Speaker 4: do this, and then they give you the money according
- 4:47Speaker 4: to what your answers are.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, And I didn't know that I was supposed to
- 4:51Speaker 1: do it on PA career Link things.
- 4:52Speaker 4: So today I get on and I'm like, okay, I
- 4:55Speaker 4: got to register my PA career link account. So they
- 4:58Speaker 4: just want you to upload your resume, which I did,
- 5:00Speaker 4: and then you had to answer about one hundred and
- 5:02Speaker 4: fifty k billion questions, right, I.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Think it's like six, but go ahead. So I did
- 5:06Speaker 1: all this.
- 5:07Speaker 5: I did all this, and about an hour later, after
- 5:10Speaker 5: the whole kit kaboodle, guess what I got some I
- 5:13Speaker 5: should have taken a picture of it to get the
- 5:14Speaker 5: verbage straight, because it was very funny, but it made
- 5:17Speaker 5: me feel like a flaming pile of garbage.
- 5:18Speaker 4: It said something like, uh, we haven't found any jobs
- 5:24Speaker 4: within one hundred mile radius your skill set.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that Matt your skill set right. It
- 5:31Speaker 1: gave me zero nothing. And then and then the closest
- 5:34Speaker 1: thing that I did found I should you not was
- 5:36Speaker 1: a manager position at McDonald's in New Jersey somewhere. That
- 5:40Speaker 1: was the first thing that popped up on the PA career.
- 5:42Speaker 1: It was one of the questions, like, what's one of
- 5:43Speaker 1: your favorite fast food items at one in the morning,
- 5:45Speaker 1: and it's like, oh, like a big Mac, And you're like, oh,
- 5:47Speaker 1: you're qualified for this job.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Well, the biggest pain in the ass is that you
- 5:50Speaker 4: upload your resume and then it wants you to like
- 5:53Speaker 4: reiterate your entire resume with their system, so you end
- 5:57Speaker 4: up copying and pasting every part of your resume onto
- 6:00Speaker 4: their bullshit.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 4: So that's what took me the longest, was trying to
- 6:03Speaker 4: get it like formatted correctly, only for it to tell
- 6:06Speaker 4: me that there's no jobs that match.
- 6:08Speaker 1: My skill set. It's like, I already knew that there
- 6:10Speaker 1: was no jobs that match my skill set.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I could have told you that. I can't believe I
- 6:14Speaker 4: wasted an hour in my life just to get that notice.
- 6:16Speaker 3: You know, I think your skill set is more than
- 6:19Speaker 3: radio Joel. I was telling Decker, Yeah, you are like
- 6:24Speaker 3: so good with people. I think that you have so
- 6:28Speaker 3: many skill sets that you could transfer into other things.
- 6:31Speaker 3: You just need to be more open minded. Stop being
- 6:34Speaker 3: abused by radio. They keep spanking you. And it's not
- 6:38Speaker 3: the good kind kind, it's a bad one.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You have to explain these things, Yeah, bad kind man,
- 6:46Speaker 1: you can do it. Yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 4: And so, indeed is the other thing that I'm checking
- 6:51Speaker 4: every day And no, this is this podcast is not
- 6:53Speaker 4: sponsored by indeed, it could be, though it could be. Indeed,
- 6:56Speaker 4: if you want to let us know, let us know.
- 6:59Speaker 4: If you're looking for a job, go.
- 7:00Speaker 1: To an email. Got to you, right, it's like a
- 7:03Speaker 1: set up the email. Right.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Actually, you know who I hear advertising here, there and everywhere?
- 7:06Speaker 4: Zip recruiter.
- 7:10Speaker 1: But isn't that more if you're like looking for people
- 7:12Speaker 1: and if you're looking for yeah, it helps the other side,
- 7:16Speaker 1: Zip recruiter.
- 7:16Speaker 4: You could also sponsor this podcast.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Maybe you need to find a recruiter.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Maybe you need to go that route, I think, I mean,
- 7:24Speaker 3: depending on how long this goes.
- 7:26Speaker 4: So the funny thing is that I met with my
- 7:28Speaker 4: financial advisor and he told me I was, you know,
- 7:31Speaker 4: giving him the same SOB story about my resume, which
- 7:34Speaker 4: is a great radio resume, but it's an awful everything
- 7:37Speaker 4: else resume.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And he said, dude.
- 7:39Speaker 4: You just got to like work your connections. Man, you're
- 7:41Speaker 4: a people person. You know how to network. Your networking
- 7:44Speaker 4: is going to get you your next job, not your resume.
- 7:46Speaker 4: And that hit me good. But also it's like, you
- 7:49Speaker 4: know again, I I really I have zero interest in
- 7:52Speaker 4: selling people any Like. I don't want to do sales.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I don't he pops up. I don't want to sell
- 7:58Speaker 1: people cars. I don't want to that.
- 7:59Speaker 4: I don't want you don't sling the bullshit like I
- 8:01Speaker 4: just don't, you know, And like, you're an extrovert, but
- 8:03Speaker 4: you're much more of an introvert. An introverted extrovert, Yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 4: and you're which equals chaos. Yeah, I'm an introvert that
- 8:11Speaker 4: just so happens to be extroverted and it's the only
- 8:14Speaker 4: thing that I'm a little bit good at and therefore
- 8:16Speaker 4: that's my professional career.
- 8:19Speaker 1: That's really what it boils down to. I'm an extrovert,
- 8:21Speaker 1: you're a.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I consider myself an introverted extrovert. I see towards the introvert.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Yeah, two mainly introverted people and one extroverted person and
- 8:32Speaker 1: that's episode sixty and one of which has no skills.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I have skill.
- 8:40Speaker 3: You both are very talented men, you know. And if
- 8:43Speaker 3: force comes to worse, I'm going to go back to
- 8:45Speaker 3: the feet thing.
- 8:47Speaker 1: No.
- 8:48Speaker 4: I think that I would make more money if I
- 8:49Speaker 4: went a little higher up, but I don't know.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Press the button. Press the button with your soft toe.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Let's start the show with my soft What Blazed and
- 8:59Speaker 1: Confused podcast with Becker and Joel, the trivia podcast where truth,
- 9:05Speaker 1: theory and thc glide. Let's spark your curiosity and light
- 9:11Speaker 1: up some knowledge. Got Blazed and Confused Podcast with Becker
- 9:16Speaker 1: and Joel starts now. Now. Hi, I'm Becker. That's my
- 9:21Speaker 1: good friend Joel. Jen Carlson is on the show today.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You're an improviser and it's funny. When she met Nick
- 9:27Speaker 1: uh you said you introduced yourself as a paid comedian.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I am a paid com true.
- 9:34Speaker 3: I get money to do comedy, which is the stupidest
- 9:38Speaker 3: thing I've ever had to save my life.
- 9:40Speaker 2: But it's true.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I've gotten paid several times over one hundred dollars. Communal
- 9:45Speaker 3: cumulative was pretty good. It's not bad. I'm no John mulaney.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But yeah, you know it's funny you bring that up.
- 9:53Speaker 4: I just picked up guitars today from my guitar tech
- 9:55Speaker 4: guy and he was asking me about my job on that.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And as I'm leaving, he goes, I think that you
- 10:00Speaker 1: should take comedy classes. And I said, you think I
- 10:03Speaker 1: could do comedy and he goes, dah, man, you could
- 10:05Speaker 1: do stand up. I'm like, no, no, no, I'd rather.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Try to be funny on the radio and hope that
- 10:09Speaker 4: people are laughing versus stand in front of a crowd
- 10:12Speaker 4: of people and pray.
- 10:13Speaker 1: And get down on my knees and beg them to laugh.
- 10:15Speaker 2: You know what I mean, Jen, That is terrible. When
- 10:19Speaker 2: there's bad shows.
- 10:20Speaker 1: You feel it in your soul. Yeah, it's like.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Right into you. But great shows really are an ego booster.
- 10:26Speaker 1: M hm. So your improv comedy a group is called.
- 10:31Speaker 2: My main one is Cobra.
- 10:33Speaker 3: But this weekend at music Fest, Big music Festival.
- 10:37Speaker 1: For those people listening out of the areas in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Continue, Yeah, there is a free show. It's this is
- 10:45Speaker 3: how we roll in profits based off of dungeons and dragons. Okay,
- 10:49Speaker 3: I've never gotten in d Yeah, yeah. No, I don't
- 10:52Speaker 3: play D and D either, but it is really fun.
- 10:55Speaker 3: You don't need to know anything about D and D.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I'm in the show and I don't know a lot
- 10:58Speaker 3: about D and D.
- 11:00Speaker 2: It's good for.
- 11:00Speaker 4: People that know absolutely nothing about D and D. How
- 11:03Speaker 4: would you describe it?
- 11:05Speaker 3: It's basically a bunch of mythical characters you can have,
- 11:09Speaker 3: like ELFs and trolls and goblins, and they go on
- 11:12Speaker 3: a journey to or a quest to complete something, complete
- 11:17Speaker 3: a mission. And that's basically what we do. We improvise
- 11:20Speaker 3: the whole quest. We start in battle Ham, which is Bethlehem.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Oh okay, and we you know, I think the last
- 11:28Speaker 3: show that I was in, we went and found a
- 11:31Speaker 3: giant peep monster or something nice.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So it's just a silly little thing.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Isn't Dungeons and Dragons a card game?
- 11:38Speaker 3: No, it's got little figurines and you rolled dice.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Oh.
- 11:42Speaker 4: I thought it was a card game that goes to
- 11:44Speaker 4: show how much I know. I don't get out much.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I don't think it's I don't think there's cards.
- 11:48Speaker 1: No, No, I don't know. It sounds interesting, but I
- 11:50Speaker 1: think you kind of lost him as I feel like
- 11:52Speaker 1: I looked over right when you said mythical and and
- 11:56Speaker 1: he was like, I'm gonna look at the ceiling. Yeah,
- 11:59Speaker 1: it's real fun though, that's not really fun. So what
- 12:01Speaker 1: date is it? Where is it at?
- 12:02Speaker 3: It's on August first, It's at Steel Stacks somewhere. Quote
- 12:08Speaker 3: me on that. It's after John Mulaney. I think it's
- 12:11Speaker 3: at nine pm. So it's fun. It's free, get wasted,
- 12:16Speaker 3: get a lot of bring your mug in and watch.
- 12:19Speaker 1: It's just another awesome free show that's going to be
- 12:21Speaker 1: happening there. And if you're looking for some you know, laugh,
- 12:24Speaker 1: check that out for sure.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it's silly. Bring your giggles. Yeah, it feeds me
- 12:29Speaker 3: the giggles. Do the giggles feed me?
- 12:31Speaker 1: I like it? I like it? Yeah, I like it. Nice.
- 12:34Speaker 4: What did you say when I walked in? You're like,
- 12:35Speaker 4: haly ten, you're looking a little What were you saying?
- 12:38Speaker 4: I said you look a little black. I don't know
- 12:40Speaker 4: if I'm allowed to say that anymore.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I don't think I know.
- 12:44Speaker 2: And he looks like a lobster.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I more red than you are.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Red?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I put in some work.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Well your face, well maybe from this angle and this lighting,
- 12:55Speaker 3: you look red maybe it's not.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Actually, no, it's probably accurate. I didn't wear any some blockers,
- 13:00Speaker 1: sunscreen whatsoever. I'm always yelled at about it. I never
- 13:03Speaker 1: do that either.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Really, you guys need to do that. Skin cancer is dangerous.
- 13:08Speaker 1: It's not even like I'm doing I'm not doing it
- 13:12Speaker 1: because I don't feel like doing it. It's just something
- 13:14Speaker 1: I forget about. I think that sunscreen personally is a scam.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 13:18Speaker 4: You think so, Yeah, because unless you put it on
- 13:21Speaker 4: every ten minutes, it doesn't do anything.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Yeah, who's got that kind of time? Who does think
- 13:25Speaker 1: about it?
- 13:26Speaker 4: You know, you go to the beach, you go to
- 13:27Speaker 4: the pool, you put the sunscreen on, you get in
- 13:30Speaker 4: the water, the sunscreen comes off, you get out of
- 13:33Speaker 4: the water. What you're supposed to put it right back
- 13:34Speaker 4: on Again, you're.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Carrying the wrong sunscreen. There's water resistant sunscreen, and you also, Okay.
- 13:40Speaker 4: But why is in every why why does there have
- 13:42Speaker 4: to be water resistance? So every sunscreen should be water resistant.
- 13:45Speaker 4: This is why it's a scam.
- 13:47Speaker 3: I agree with you. But also there's some people who
- 13:49Speaker 3: aren't going in the water. They're just tanning on the beach, yeah,
- 13:53Speaker 3: or they're going camping in the woods.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Is it that small percentage of people they have to
- 13:58Speaker 1: tend to? Yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Other my other observation about sunscreen, what sunscreen? Nobody has
- 14:02Speaker 4: to I don't have time for the lotion anymore. I
- 14:04Speaker 4: need to spray. Yeah, oh yeah, way better.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Who wants to sit here and lather up their legs
- 14:09Speaker 1: and their arms and their face and every orifice of
- 14:11Speaker 1: their body with lotion?
- 14:14Speaker 4: You don't word, isn't it. I don't think you're supposed
- 14:16Speaker 4: to put it inside.
- 14:17Speaker 1: You're supposed to put it in anything mean inside Yeah
- 14:20Speaker 1: means yeah, stop there, or means whole.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's your own personal caps.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Orfice of your body. I didn't know that meant inside.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Don't put the sunscreen on the inside.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Don't put it inside you at all.
- 14:37Speaker 3: That sounds like you guys aren't going to get a
- 14:39Speaker 3: sunscreen endorsement with the talking what's it called some bomb?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Sun bomb?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 14:45Speaker 3: Bomb?
- 14:46Speaker 1: See that matches, all right. It's been a while since
- 14:51Speaker 1: you've been on been on our show. Trying to pivot
- 14:55Speaker 1: from that. Good look, we've added some things. We've uh,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you know, that's all. We've added some things. One of
- 15:00Speaker 1: the things we've added as the wrapid round and the
- 15:04Speaker 1: which is the official ten questions for you in sixty seconds.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And we also do a thing called random thoughts, which
- 15:09Speaker 1: is stuff we just thought about this past week. Sometimes
- 15:11Speaker 1: he has none because he doesn't think very much.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Well that's okay.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Yeah, So are you ready for ten questions in sixty seconds?
- 15:19Speaker 2: I've never been more ready in my life.
- 15:21Speaker 1: See how smart you are?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Bring it on.
- 15:24Speaker 1: The game begins in three All right, Jen, what's the
- 15:30Speaker 1: capital of Georgia?
- 15:33Speaker 2: Macon?
- 15:34Speaker 1: What? What Macon?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Yeah? I don't know.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I've never heard of that.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Atlanta?

- 16:11Speaker 1: Whatever it is, don't put sunscreen in it. What is
- 16:14Speaker 1: the most common color of human eyes?
- 16:16Speaker 2: The brown?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah? What's the nearest planet to the sun.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Venus?
- 16:22Speaker 1: No? No, what blood type? What blood type is the
- 16:26Speaker 1: universal donor? Oh? Which one?
- 16:28Speaker 2: Plus?
- 16:29Speaker 1: No?
- 16:29Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm so embarrassed.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Can you edit all that out?
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah? Sure. We don't edit this podcast ever, not once, no, never.
- 16:38Speaker 1: We're even going to keep that one thing you said earlier.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And I think, yeah, that was bad. I'm sorry, leep
- 16:43Speaker 1: that out? You think I should bleep that? What do
- 16:45Speaker 1: you think, johen a bleeper? You know you know me.
- 16:48Speaker 1: It was very innocently stated. All right, want to recap? Oh, yeah,
- 16:51Speaker 1: we'll recap this. Yeah. What's the capital of Georgia? What's
- 16:54Speaker 1: you say for Macon? Macon?
- 16:56Speaker 2: Spell that m A C O N Macon Georgia.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Never heard of it?
- 17:00Speaker 2: I have.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Apparently it's never the capital is never the biggest city
- 17:05Speaker 3: in the state, like Philadelphia is not the capital.
- 17:08Speaker 2: New York City is not the capital. So that's why
- 17:10Speaker 2: I didn't say Atlanta.
- 17:13Speaker 1: So I always naked or Bacon. So I heard Macon,
- 17:18Speaker 1: Oh making like making? What what are you making? Well
- 17:21Speaker 1: you heard it correctly, then it's just a difference. I've
- 17:23Speaker 1: never heard of making. I've never heard of making.
- 17:25Speaker 3: God, I hope it's actually a city because then I'm really.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Embarrassed making anyway, And what else did we learn that
- 17:33Speaker 1: pickle is made of cucumbers? I don't like cucumbers. Ain't
- 17:36Speaker 1: the gross? Do you like pickles? No? Because I don't
- 17:38Speaker 1: like cucumbers really ever? Not really? No, I feel like
- 17:42Speaker 1: cucumbers don't taste like anything. It's just like water.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Cucumbers are delicious.
- 17:49Speaker 1: But there's the thing you put on them. Do you
- 17:50Speaker 1: have to put something on them make it better? Yes,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you gotta put you gotta slather them up with something
- 17:54Speaker 1: that is America sauce on it, like ranch dressing or something.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I eat those things raw himself. And now hummus. That
- 18:02Speaker 1: was also one of the questions.
- 18:03Speaker 4: But hummus, hummus in the cucumbers.
- 18:06Speaker 1: You don't like that? No? No?
- 18:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:08Speaker 1: No? Do you like that?
- 18:09Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:09Speaker 1: What really? Wow? That's shocking to me. Why I don't
- 18:14Speaker 1: know you like burgers. I can't imagine you ordering hummus anywhere.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I wouldn't order it or buying it. Yeah, that would
- 18:19Speaker 1: buy it, but I guess you have. Yeah, all right,
- 18:22Speaker 1: let's move on. Where are pearls found in oysters? Do
- 18:26Speaker 1: you like oysters? No? What about you?
- 18:28Speaker 2: I hate them?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Yeah? To talk about that? You just got back from
- 18:31Speaker 1: vacation too. By the way, I did get back from vacation.
- 18:33Speaker 1: We're both vacation to people. Right now, are you relaxed?
- 18:36Speaker 3: I just had a full day of work, so no,
- 18:38Speaker 3: all the vacation left my body.
- 18:41Speaker 1: What else do we talk about? Oh yeah, chickpeas. We're
- 18:44Speaker 1: in hummus. What is meteorology the study of weather? Yeah?
- 18:48Speaker 1: What part inside the human body can regrow itself that
- 18:51Speaker 1: would in three weeks? That is the liver.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I knew it was something like that.
- 18:56Speaker 3: It was like that, or the gallbladder or something.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Yeah, the gall blood. I think it's like a throwaway. Right.
- 19:01Speaker 4: You can get that removed if you want, you can. Yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 4: I wonder how much is way?
- 19:04Speaker 1: You got to lose some weight, like I need to
- 19:06Speaker 1: get five pounds. People get their goal bloer removed just
- 19:09Speaker 1: for their No, no, no, no, no, not at all.
- 19:12Speaker 1: They sometimes they get it removed because something is wrong
- 19:14Speaker 1: with it.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it does mess with you if you get rid
- 19:17Speaker 3: of it, but that means rid of it.
- 19:18Speaker 1: But that means you don't need it, Yeah, you don't. Interesting. Yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 1: what is the most common color of human eyes? Brown?
- 19:25Speaker 1: What is the nearest planet to the sun. You said
- 19:27Speaker 1: a couple of things, but not the correct answer, which
- 19:29Speaker 1: was mercury mercury.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I should have known that.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Blood type universal donor oh negative. Do you guys know
- 19:35Speaker 1: your blood types?
- 19:36Speaker 3: I do not.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't either. Yeah, I guess you're
- 19:38Speaker 1: supposed to, don't you. I think so. I think it's
- 19:41Speaker 1: on the health app on your phone? Is it not? Imagine?
- 19:43Speaker 1: But you're you're in a situation where you have to
- 19:45Speaker 1: like they need your information. It's like, well, I got
- 19:47Speaker 1: to open this app. Hold on, yeah, see it'll take
- 19:51Speaker 1: a while. Which health app are you using? Like the
- 19:54Speaker 1: Apple health app? You don't update your stuff? The No,
- 19:57Speaker 1: I don't you ever found dead that you can like
- 19:59Speaker 1: look up your shie.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Oh there's a thing for blood type here and I
- 20:03Speaker 4: haven't put it in.
- 20:05Speaker 1: So, No, I don't know what my blood type is.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I guess you should really know that, shouldn't you. I
- 20:09Speaker 1: have no idea. I'm a I'm a donor though a
- 20:13Speaker 1: organ door. Yeah. When when I'm done with this meat seed,
- 20:18Speaker 1: you can pass it along to side his body? Ready? Anyway?
- 20:25Speaker 1: That's that's gross and weird.
- 20:26Speaker 2: It's gross weird?
- 20:27Speaker 1: Do you wrap it around the last time you were here?
- 20:29Speaker 3: We did it before, but you did it in you did.
- 20:33Speaker 3: The first letter was the same for all.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Of Some of the guests didn't really understand what was happening.
- 20:39Speaker 1: So yeah, that.
- 20:41Speaker 2: One was easier for me.
- 20:43Speaker 3: That one.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I liked. This one I didn't because I look silly.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Now you did. That's the whole point of this. It's
- 20:48Speaker 1: a silly us. You know any of the answers either did?
- 20:52Speaker 4: I knew most of them as fit as a fiddle.
- 20:54Speaker 4: I never would have gotten that. I've never heard that.
- 20:56Speaker 2: You've never heard that before. That's a dumb saying, though.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yes, fit is fiddle. Yeah, what the hell's that even mean?
- 21:01Speaker 1: It means you're fit.
- 21:03Speaker 4: But like, when you think of fit people, why do
- 21:05Speaker 4: you think of a violin? Because I don't.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Oh is that what that is? Well, fiddle's a violin.
- 21:10Speaker 3: It's like a miniature one like one that you use
- 21:13Speaker 3: in the South at.
- 21:16Speaker 1: A little guy. Hmm. I thought a fiddle was like
- 21:19Speaker 1: a thing like a like a flute you blew into,
- 21:22Speaker 1: like a clarinet type thing.
- 21:23Speaker 2: No is it?
- 21:25Speaker 1: No? No, all right, that's wrong. No, it's into. No
- 21:30Speaker 1: it's not, it's not.
- 21:32Speaker 2: That's not what it is.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Where'd you go on vacation, Jen, I went to right cool.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Wasn't there a really funny sign you were talking about?
- 21:40Speaker 1: It was like a don't feed monkey.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Oh, there's a caution monkeys sign there where there's apparently
- 21:48Speaker 3: a lot of monkeys, But we didn't see any wild
- 21:50Speaker 3: monkeys while we were there.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Really, that's kind Did you want to I want to
- 21:52Speaker 1: see monkeys? I do too. Yeah.
- 21:54Speaker 3: We went to a preserve and we saw monkeys there,
- 21:58Speaker 3: and while we were there, the monkeys escaped the enclosure.
- 22:02Speaker 3: So like the monkey was like right above my head
- 22:05Speaker 3: and the trees, so I did get pretty close to
- 22:07Speaker 3: a wild monkey where I could have touched it if
- 22:09Speaker 3: I wanted to, But no, I didn't see anyone like
- 22:12Speaker 3: the trees. But we were also on the beach side
- 22:15Speaker 3: of Costa Rica versus.
- 22:16Speaker 2: The jungle side. Gotcha, So it was a great time.
- 22:20Speaker 1: What was your favorite thing you had to eat?
- 22:22Speaker 3: Oh boy, we went to a castle and they had
- 22:30Speaker 3: this like beef carpaccio with parmesan cheese and truffle sauce.
- 22:37Speaker 2: And it was amazing.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Beef car what carpaccio? I think it's no beef.
- 22:44Speaker 3: No, it's like very thinly sliced and it might have
- 22:47Speaker 3: been raw. It was incredible. It was so good. I
- 22:55Speaker 3: don't I don't normally like it raw either. I knew where,
- 23:01Speaker 3: I knew when I was walking.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Into I waited for it. This is gonna happen. I'm
- 23:07Speaker 1: glad that that was a universal laugh. I wasn't alone
- 23:10Speaker 1: with that one, thinking very much. That was funny.
- 23:13Speaker 3: No, I was gonna I had to walk into it. Yeah,
- 23:18Speaker 3: but this one was good. Yeah.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Great. I'm glad you had a good vacation. I think
- 23:22Speaker 1: that food is a very big part of vacations for me,
- 23:25Speaker 1: Like I always want to make sure I eat very well.
- 23:26Speaker 4: I wanted to make sure on my vacation that I
- 23:29Speaker 4: had seafood every day, and I did.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Gross had it every day.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Seafood is gross.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I I tried sushi while.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I was there because.
- 23:39Speaker 3: I know it was terrible.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 23:42Speaker 4: And you know what, people don't agree with us. They
- 23:44Speaker 4: don't The anti sushi people. As I grow older, I've
- 23:47Speaker 4: learned are very rare. We are you and far between.
- 23:51Speaker 4: But we're the weird ones. No, no, but what is
- 23:53Speaker 4: so appetizing about raw fish and seaweed?
- 23:57Speaker 1: Why does that sound good? Sorry?
- 24:00Speaker 2: Sorry, it's so gross.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I rather eat my foot me too. Those soft feet
- 24:06Speaker 1: of yours nice. Well, maybe not if they're going to
- 24:08Speaker 1: make me money. Well, anyway, I enjoyed my food. I
- 24:14Speaker 1: had great food every day and I yeah, that was
- 24:17Speaker 1: a you know what. One of my favorite highlights of
- 24:20Speaker 1: the trip eating wise was getting waffles and ice cream
- 24:23Speaker 1: on the boardwalk. I've never understood it so good, the combination.
- 24:27Speaker 4: I've never understood the combination between waffles and ice cream.
- 24:31Speaker 1: That feels too heavy to me. It feels like too much.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I couldn't eat it like a sandwich the way they
- 24:36Speaker 1: served it. I had to eat it with like a
- 24:37Speaker 1: fork at rispoon. I were supposed to eat it like
- 24:39Speaker 1: a sandwich. Yeah, it's like an ic It's like a
- 24:41Speaker 1: waffle and ice cream sandwich. Right.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen that before. I seen it on top
- 24:45Speaker 2: on top.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. How much did that cost?
- 24:47Speaker 1: Fourteen dollars? I got two of them? It was twenty
- 24:49Speaker 1: six dollars. Jesus, Okay, they were huge. I won't lie though.
- 24:53Speaker 1: They were a big like it was a Belgium waffle.
- 24:55Speaker 1: You know.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Does that include tip or was that?
- 24:57Speaker 1: No? It was on the boardwalk, just like I didn't.
- 24:59Speaker 1: I guess we took probably I put a dollar or
- 25:01Speaker 1: something in, but it took about five minutes. Interesting. We
- 25:04Speaker 1: were so good. I didn't get shipped on by any
- 25:06Speaker 1: seagulls this year. Pretty good.
- 25:08Speaker 2: That's a weirddible.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you didn't get pooped on by any monkeys.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I didn't get pooped on by monkey?
- 25:13Speaker 1: Did you get pooped on this weekend?
- 25:14Speaker 2: I did not get pop Did you want to?
- 25:17Speaker 1: Not? Really? Now? So Jen went on vacation of coas Rica.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Where the hell did you go?
- 25:23Speaker 3: Went?
- 25:23Speaker 1: Like? New York? I went to New York City to
- 25:25Speaker 1: see The Lost Boys on Broadway, which was phenomenal. Definitely
- 25:28Speaker 1: checked that out. I went to wild Wood for several
- 25:32Speaker 1: a couple of days, and then I went to New
- 25:35Speaker 1: Hope for a day and then came home today. Nice. Yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 1: I was kind of over the place. I got a
- 25:39Speaker 1: little bit of everything. I got big city, got the beach,
- 25:43Speaker 1: small town, and now I'm home and I get to
- 25:46Speaker 1: go back to work tomorrow. Are you going back towards
- 25:52Speaker 1: with all the skills that I don't have? But there
- 25:54Speaker 1: are there were some things on vacation that happened. We
- 25:56Speaker 1: could talk about that in random thought. You want to
- 25:58Speaker 1: hit that button? Yeah, I suppose I'll wait, he has
- 26:04Speaker 1: all this time and he's not getting any better at this.
- 26:09Speaker 2: This is your skill set, yeah, I know.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Set, heady radio people who might want to hire Joel,
- 26:17Speaker 3: don't listen right now.
- 26:19Speaker 2: This is not Joel's.
- 26:21Speaker 1: You can start listening right now, actually, please. Random thoughts.
- 26:28Speaker 1: First day of vacation at the beach part anyway, I
- 26:30Speaker 1: got vertigo while I was driving my car over a
- 26:33Speaker 1: bridge and it was horrifying. I got really, really dizzy
- 26:37Speaker 1: and my whole body went to the left while I
- 26:39Speaker 1: was driving, and my passenger did not notice, and I
- 26:43Speaker 1: tried to play it cool. It was really scary, but
- 26:45Speaker 1: in my internally I was having a panic attack and
- 26:48Speaker 1: thought I was having a heart attack. It was really
- 26:49Speaker 1: really bad. First day at the.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Beach, Oh my god, that's scary.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Up going to urgent care on the first day of
- 26:56Speaker 1: being at the beach, Oh my gosh. So, I don't know,
- 26:59Speaker 1: it's pretty out of work. I don't know how much
- 27:01Speaker 1: cost me. Probably that was pretty wacky. Do you have vertigo?
- 27:07Speaker 1: I did? Yeah, I still have it. Did you drive
- 27:10Speaker 1: the whole time? Still? No? No, no, no, no, no, no,
- 27:13Speaker 1: not the whole time. But I got better. They did
- 27:16Speaker 1: an adjustment on my head. You know. They fixed my
- 27:18Speaker 1: head a little bit and gave me some pills to
- 27:21Speaker 1: help put the dizziness in the nausea. Man, people say
- 27:23Speaker 1: the vertigo is like the worst thing ever. It's horrible
- 27:26Speaker 1: because you feel like the world has shifted on you
- 27:30Speaker 1: and you just want to fall down.
- 27:32Speaker 2: That's scary.
- 27:33Speaker 1: It's scary driving. I was driving into Cape May over
- 27:36Speaker 1: a bridge that was good enough for maybe two cars,
- 27:39Speaker 1: you know, on you know what happened. So I just
- 27:42Speaker 1: like didn't say anything. I got really quiet, and then
- 27:46Speaker 1: like I was just like focusing on like driving. I
- 27:49Speaker 1: didn't want to freak him out, Like I was like,
- 27:51Speaker 1: this is very dangerous. I just didn't want to cause
- 27:53Speaker 1: a thing. So I just focused really hard and I
- 27:55Speaker 1: parked the car. I got out, and I was like, hey,
- 27:58Speaker 1: I have to let you know something very scary happened
- 28:01Speaker 1: and it's happening right now. And he was like, what's
- 28:04Speaker 1: wrong And I was like, I have vertigo. I'm like
- 28:06Speaker 1: I feel like I'm going to fall down. And he
- 28:08Speaker 1: was like, oh no. He never he'd never heard about
- 28:10Speaker 1: it or really knew about it. So he got to
- 28:12Speaker 1: experience that on vacation some guy. That was just wobbly
- 28:16Speaker 1: the whole time.
- 28:17Speaker 2: You're a wobble man.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It was pretty sad. But now I'm better. So what
- 28:22Speaker 1: a bummer though, to start the vacation off like that.
- 28:24Speaker 1: You know, it's too much urgent care, too much weed,
- 28:27Speaker 1: not enough. No, I don't know. I don't think that's
- 28:29Speaker 1: what the urgent care doctor said. The doctor was like,
- 28:31Speaker 1: have you smoked weed since you got here? And I
- 28:33Speaker 1: was like, no, I just got here. He was like,
- 28:34Speaker 1: do that. Yeah, that's exactly what it showed.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Radio people, I think, have a higher propensity at getting.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Vertigo because of the headphones all the time. The headphone.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I've known so many radio people who've gotten vertigo.
- 28:47Speaker 3: And it's because the moisture from the headphones gets trapped
- 28:50Speaker 3: in your ear.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Drums and true, it's moisture that gets trapped in your ear.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Sometimes sometimes it can be caused by that, or it
- 28:56Speaker 1: can be caused by an infection, or it can be
- 28:59Speaker 1: caused I like whiplash, like if you whip your head
- 29:02Speaker 1: really fast. So what do you have. I don't know
- 29:06Speaker 1: how it happened. That day we were at the beach,
- 29:08Speaker 1: so I was in the water, you know, for a while.
- 29:10Speaker 1: And I maybe thought I got water in there, but
- 29:12Speaker 1: he checked my ears and he was like, no, you're fine.
- 29:13Speaker 1: It's definitely where to go. Like the moment, he had
- 29:16Speaker 1: to figure out how to trigger it to make sure
- 29:20Speaker 1: it was that, And I like fell into the wall.
- 29:22Speaker 1: It sounds funny. I fell head first into the wall.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Oh my god, Joe would have been laughing his ass
- 29:29Speaker 1: off at me if he saw that. I was just like,
- 29:30Speaker 1: h but anyway, sucky way to start vacation. But I'm
- 29:35Speaker 1: feeling much better now. Oh I'm glad you're alive. But
- 29:37Speaker 1: I do have a question about vacation also. So if
- 29:39Speaker 1: you're at the beach right and you're setting your stuff up,
- 29:41Speaker 1: you got your chairs, your beach bag, you know, all
- 29:43Speaker 1: your your towels, your blankets. How far away should you
- 29:46Speaker 1: be from other people? And should other people be blasting music?
- 29:48Speaker 1: Do you think on the beach? No, No, it's annoying.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I kept it at a reasonable volume. It depends on
- 29:55Speaker 1: the music. See, Joel wouldn't give a shit. He would
- 29:57Speaker 1: just like subwffords.
- 29:59Speaker 4: I mean, my ideal beach is not the beach with
- 30:03Speaker 4: one hundred people there.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not one hundred. It's a small amount of
- 30:07Speaker 1: people on the beach. I don't know. I like to
- 30:10Speaker 1: go into the beach too, when when nobody's there.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Gotchah.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 4: But however, I will say I never go in the
- 30:15Speaker 4: water like I'm a sitter. You go in the water.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Yeah. I spent most of my time in the water.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Really a little fish. Yeah, fish.
- 30:23Speaker 1: You like to just float around.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Wouldn't you rather swim in a pool in the ocean though, Well,
- 30:27Speaker 4: pools are kind of they can.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Be kind of gross. They can be, but most of
- 30:31Speaker 1: the time they're clean, are they? I think so? Yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 1: I don't know. A public pool at a hotel at
- 30:38Speaker 1: the beach, A bunch of kids. I think every one
- 30:41Speaker 1: of those kids is running into the bathroom. I know
- 30:43Speaker 1: I'm not. Of course, you don't.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I did that in the Coasta Rican ocean, did you.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Yeah, the ocean is different. Well, the ocean.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Everybody's doing that. I'm sorry. I will die standing on
- 30:54Speaker 4: this hill. Nobody ill mentioned. But everybody's pissing everywhere. Any
- 30:57Speaker 4: time you get in a body of water, you're peeing.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Come on the pool. Oh you're full of shit?
- 31:01Speaker 1: No, maybe maybe when I was younger, I haven't done that.
- 31:03Speaker 1: You are so full of I don't.
- 31:04Speaker 2: You don't pretend to be in a do not, I
- 31:07Speaker 2: will get out.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Stop riding your high horse. You can't just be a
- 31:12Speaker 1: you know, a normal human being, respect well, especially at
- 31:17Speaker 1: the beach.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Like I know that they have bathrooms at the beach,
- 31:21Speaker 4: but that I take back my prior statement that I
- 31:23Speaker 4: never go in the water.
- 31:24Speaker 1: The only time I go in the water is when
- 31:26Speaker 1: I have to be.
- 31:28Speaker 6: Water.
- 31:29Speaker 1: It was waist deep? What else? Because what else are
- 31:31Speaker 1: you supposed to do?
- 31:32Speaker 3: Walk?
- 31:33Speaker 1: You know what? Ten blocks away to the bathroom and
- 31:35Speaker 1: then wait in line there.
- 31:36Speaker 3: And then the bathrooms discussing. Yeah, I'm with Joel on
- 31:41Speaker 3: this one. Joel and I we're like the same person.
- 31:44Speaker 1: We are, Yeah, we are. Yeah. Today, Well let me
- 31:47Speaker 1: ask you did you did you pay to go on
- 31:49Speaker 1: the beach? How does that work? It's free? Is it
- 31:51Speaker 1: always free? Though? You?
- 31:53Speaker 2: Beaches are paid?
- 31:53Speaker 1: I was in Wildwood, Oh, dude, wild One's the best man.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Are we doing random thoughts there? Or what? Joel? Did
- 31:59Speaker 1: you think about anything this week? What did I think
- 32:01Speaker 1: about this week?
- 32:01Speaker 3: Now?
- 32:01Speaker 4: Because I have no skills, all right, I've been reading, dude,
- 32:06Speaker 4: I've been reading. I've been going to the gym again.
- 32:07Speaker 4: I feel like I feel great, Like for the first
- 32:10Speaker 4: time in a very long time. I feel like I
- 32:11Speaker 4: finally have a good like you know, head on my shoulders,
- 32:14Speaker 4: and I'm I'm making progress there. It's only been a month, right,
- 32:17Speaker 4: I know, But dude, the reading thing, man, I am
- 32:20Speaker 4: cruising through like a book a week Forrest. So I
- 32:24Speaker 4: started with the Eric Clapton autobiography. I went read Forrest Gump.
- 32:28Speaker 4: I just finished the Elton John autobiography, which was huge.
- 32:31Speaker 4: I started that like a week ago. So now I'm
- 32:33Speaker 4: on a book number four. I think I'm gonna start
- 32:35Speaker 4: reading about people getting murdered. That's what's next, all right,
- 32:38Speaker 4: we gotta get some murder mystery, some thriller in there.
- 32:40Speaker 4: You know what I bought years ago. Jeffrey Dahmer is
- 32:43Speaker 4: Dad's biography. Well not biography, but story. It's called like
- 32:47Speaker 4: raising a serial Killer or something.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Oh okay, cool, Yeah, you like that real crime. I'm
- 32:52Speaker 1: into it like that stuff too.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, do you read?
- 32:55Speaker 1: Do you like reading?
- 32:56Speaker 3: I sure don't. I read enough emails in the day.
- 32:59Speaker 3: I don't to go home, I know, yeah, but it's
- 33:03Speaker 3: too hard. We're gonna start using that as my excuse
- 33:05Speaker 3: for not so true though. Yeah, did you ever go
- 33:08Speaker 3: through a reading phase or not?
- 33:09Speaker 1: Really?
- 33:10Speaker 3: I did, and I read books like fifty Shades of Gray,
- 33:15Speaker 3: fifty Shades Darker, and then I read like a lot
- 33:21Speaker 3: of young adult fiction, like a lot of John Green books,
- 33:25Speaker 3: books that I didn't really have to try hard to read,
- 33:28Speaker 3: you know, for if I ever had.
- 33:30Speaker 1: A reading phase, yeah, I know the answer. No, I
- 33:33Speaker 1: never had a reading face until now too. I'm waiting
- 33:35Speaker 1: for it to end. But it's very dude, it's very
- 33:37Speaker 1: very good. I'm glad you found that. Yeah, you should try.
- 33:40Speaker 3: It, man, it'll teach you so mans.
- 33:42Speaker 4: Well to a certain degree. Yes, Forrest Gump was a
- 33:45Speaker 4: tough reading. It was hard, but because again Forrest Gump
- 33:48Speaker 4: is written like he speaks, so all the words are
- 33:51Speaker 4: like misspelled.
- 33:52Speaker 1: It's very hard to Did you feel dumber? I felt
- 33:56Speaker 1: a little dumb. You should you shouldn't do that.
- 34:00Speaker 3: That was a book first, I had no idea a.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Book, very very very loosely. The movie is very loosely
- 34:07Speaker 1: based on the book. O. Look, some of the characters
- 34:10Speaker 1: are the same, but that's about it.
- 34:12Speaker 2: It's not a true story or based on a true story, I.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Think, so. No, I don't think so.
- 34:16Speaker 4: And the other thing that I saw was that the
- 34:17Speaker 4: dude that wrote Forrest Gump, there's like a follow up
- 34:20Speaker 4: to it. Oh, I have zero interest in reading the
- 34:24Speaker 4: follow up to Forest Gump. That's I'm going through a
- 34:26Speaker 4: reading phase with zero interest to continue the Forrest Gump series.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Lieutenant Dan is back. Let's get some trivia going. Question
- 34:37Speaker 1: number one got back from vacation. I'm in a good mood,
- 34:41Speaker 1: right right, I'm not. Why don't you read the you
- 34:43Speaker 1: know you're not. Why don't you read the text that
- 34:45Speaker 1: I sent you earlier? I'm in a better mood now.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I'm going to preface this by saying I already knew this,
- 34:51Speaker 1: all right. He wrote to me and said I'm feeling
- 34:56Speaker 1: very burnt out and incredibly anti social, just as a
- 34:59Speaker 1: discla and then he sent some weird face and I said,
- 35:03Speaker 1: so the usual, and he said, I suppose so. But
- 35:07Speaker 1: you're doing a great job. Yeah, this is a good episode.
- 35:09Speaker 2: So you're doing a great job pretending that I'm here.
- 35:14Speaker 4: You know what if it was if it wasn't going
- 35:16Speaker 4: to be you, then I would have tried to get
- 35:18Speaker 4: out of this.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I would have been sick or something maybe really not
- 35:21Speaker 1: probably not. No, you know me, I can't do that. Yeah,
- 35:23Speaker 1: I can't really do.
- 35:24Speaker 2: What else are you doing with your time?
- 35:26Speaker 1: Reading? Going to the gym?
- 35:27Speaker 2: That's true?
- 35:28Speaker 4: The yard, work, house things, djaying, gigs, a lot of
- 35:32Speaker 4: guitar playing, a lot of just like sitting and playing
- 35:35Speaker 4: guitar for hours and hours and hours doing stuff.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I mean, I got stuff to do.
- 35:39Speaker 4: There's always stuff to do, especially now that I own
- 35:41Speaker 4: a house, but there's always something to do.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, everywhere I walk I'm like, oh God.
- 35:45Speaker 4: I gotta do something about this. And this is broken,
- 35:47Speaker 4: and this looks weird and I hate how this looks.
- 35:49Speaker 4: And god, there's weeds everywhere.
- 35:52Speaker 2: So yeah, welcome to adulthood.
- 35:55Speaker 1: All right. Question number one an easy one. Right, what
- 35:57Speaker 1: century do you think we're in? Right now? Oh? Now,
- 36:02Speaker 1: you are a lifeline. You cannot help him and unless
- 36:04Speaker 1: he needs you to, all right?
- 36:07Speaker 4: Twenty for twenty first, twentieth, No, twenty first, twenty first,
- 36:12Speaker 4: because it ain't the twenty second? Where's my stellar English? Ain't?
- 36:17Speaker 1: Why is that not a real word? Ain't?
- 36:19Speaker 2: Ain't words that should be?
- 36:20Speaker 1: That should be? What's wrong with aint? It's still not
- 36:22Speaker 1: a word?
- 36:22Speaker 4: The words it is a word, but anytime you use
- 36:26Speaker 4: the word ain't, people are like, well you're English.
- 36:29Speaker 1: It's like, come on, I like, ain't. What if I
- 36:32Speaker 1: said it it ain't, It ain't twenty first, it ain't
- 36:34Speaker 1: twenty third.
- 36:36Speaker 4: I kind of think it's twenty first. Fuck, you got
- 36:38Speaker 4: it right, Yes.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Let's try to throw him off. I didn't think you'd
- 36:42Speaker 1: know that for some reason.
- 36:43Speaker 4: What I don't know is when it officially became the
- 36:45Speaker 4: twenty first century, Like, is that twenty eleven is the
- 36:49Speaker 4: twenty first century?
- 36:50Speaker 1: Or no?
- 36:52Speaker 2: No, isn't it two thousands?
- 36:56Speaker 1: Well that's the new millennium, isn't it.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:58Speaker 1: It throws me off too. I mean I didn't think
- 37:00Speaker 1: it was twenty eleven. I want to be clear about that.
- 37:02Speaker 1: A century. Doesn't a century mean just one hundred years?
- 37:05Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred years, So nineteen hundred to two thousand
- 37:09Speaker 4: is hundred Wait.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Wait, I'm really too tired for this.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't get it.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Let's see if you get this next one question too.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Again, it's not good for the you know, potential future
- 37:24Speaker 4: employers of mine that are maybe listening to this and
- 37:27Speaker 4: thinking I'm not hiring him.
- 37:29Speaker 1: At least they'll think you're funny. You know, hopefully christ
- 37:32Speaker 1: all right, what scientists created the theory of evolution? Oh
- 37:39Speaker 1: I might know this.
- 37:41Speaker 2: I have faith in you.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Oh I might know this. You know. I took biology
- 37:48Speaker 1: a few times? Yeah, once or twice or something like that.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Never again.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Yeah, did they ask you to take it a couple
- 37:56Speaker 1: of times?
- 37:57Speaker 4: Well, when I was in school, the standardized tests were
- 37:59Speaker 4: a thing. I don't know if that's still a thing,
- 38:01Speaker 4: but there was these tests called the Keystone tests. Yeah,
- 38:03Speaker 4: I remember that, and they used to have one in biology,
- 38:07Speaker 4: and my school like made it a graduation requirement that
- 38:11Speaker 4: you had to get like a certain score on the
- 38:14Speaker 4: state standardized test in biology. Well I never got that score,
- 38:19Speaker 4: so they put me in So they put me in
- 38:21Speaker 4: like biology remediation. Yeah, anytime the word remediation is in there,
- 38:27Speaker 4: it's never a good time.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it happened to me. They put me in remedial reading. Ooh,
- 38:33Speaker 1: and I didn't belong in there. Yeah, they figured that
- 38:35Speaker 1: out like halfway through the same Well, you have to
- 38:37Speaker 1: be a dick to me that day, by the way
- 38:39Speaker 1: they put me in there. And you look around with
- 38:40Speaker 1: who they put you with in the remedial class, and
- 38:42Speaker 1: it's like, man, I feel like I'm in jail right now,
- 38:46Speaker 1: in prison. What is this? I'm in solitary confinement right now?
- 38:50Speaker 1: What is this? What we're learning about organisms? And shit? Yeah? Anyway,
- 38:55Speaker 1: who discovered evolution? Yeah? I think it's Charles Darwin? Final answer.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I think it might be you have a lifeline Darwin?
- 39:04Speaker 1: Doesn't that sound right? Darwinisms?
- 39:06Speaker 2: I'm not allowed to say anything Charles Darwin.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I think it's Charles Darwin. Final answer, final answer? All right,
- 39:13Speaker 1: you got it right. Maybe maybe my next career will
- 39:17Speaker 1: be as a biologist. Maybe starting to sound like great
- 39:25Speaker 1: no skills that I sound like Forrest Gump. Maybe you'll
- 39:28Speaker 1: get smarter after this one. Question three? What is the
- 39:36Speaker 1: cross between a donkey and a horse called a mule?
- 39:39Speaker 5: Fuck?
- 39:40Speaker 1: God, you're smart today? Wow?
- 39:42Speaker 2: That was fast.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Question four? All right, which nineteen seventy five blockbuster became
- 39:48Speaker 1: the first movie to gross one hundred million dollars excuse
- 39:51Speaker 1: me dollars at the US box office.
- 39:53Speaker 4: I'm gonna read that again, except a little fucking slower,
- 39:56Speaker 4: maybe t cracked?
- 39:58Speaker 3: I know?
- 39:58Speaker 1: All right? Which movie was the first the fuck down?
- 40:00Speaker 1: Which movie was the first to gross one hundred million?
- 40:04Speaker 1: Dollars at the US box office.
- 40:05Speaker 4: You know, this is just like when I used to
- 40:07Speaker 4: sit and record commercials and he'd be like, slow down,
- 40:09Speaker 4: you sound too angry.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Slow down, Read it again, slow down. I was always right,
- 40:13Speaker 1: he always sounds angry. Read it again, all right, slow down?
- 40:19Speaker 1: Which you sound angry now I'm angry? All right. Which
- 40:24Speaker 1: movie was the first to gross one hundred million dollars
- 40:27Speaker 1: at the US box office? I think? And you said
- 40:30Speaker 1: nineteen seventy five? Yep, earlier. I love how when I
- 40:33Speaker 1: said read it slower, you left that detail out. I
- 40:35Speaker 1: think the movie's Jaws. Final answer, final answer. You got
- 40:40Speaker 1: them all right? Yeah, that's good. They were hard last week,
- 40:44Speaker 1: so I had redemption this week. Good. You did very
- 40:46Speaker 1: good job. All right, thank you. Did you watch Jaws? Yeah?
- 40:49Speaker 4: I like Jaws. Yeah, I might read that. That's a book.
- 40:52Speaker 4: I might read that book too.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Nice. It's a good summer read. It's the fourth of
- 40:56Speaker 1: July movie. It's a good summer read, as in, you
- 40:59Speaker 1: could on the beach and read Jaws. I don't know
- 41:01Speaker 1: if I do that. Right before you go in the ocean,
- 41:04Speaker 1: you're smoking a little yeah to go pee. Question number one,
- 41:14Speaker 1: let's see here what do I want to ask you.
- 41:15Speaker 4: I'm gonna go way back in the archives and we'll
- 41:17Speaker 4: see what kind of questions I have there, you know,
- 41:20Speaker 4: because he likes to point out that I don't prep questions.
- 41:23Speaker 4: But I don't have to prep questions because I have
- 41:26Speaker 4: folders and folders and folders of trivia questions from trivia
- 41:31Speaker 4: nights over the years.
- 41:32Speaker 2: But you don't even have the folders open.
- 41:34Speaker 4: No, I don't true, now I do. Let's go back
- 41:36Speaker 4: to twenty twenty two and see what I was like. Okay,
- 41:38Speaker 4: here we go.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Oh, let's start with music, shall we? Sure?
- 41:43Speaker 4: Name the classic rock band whose hits included Lola, you
- 41:49Speaker 4: Really Got Me?
- 41:50Speaker 1: And come Dancing? That's the I know this. I know
- 42:00Speaker 1: this too. I hate music questions on the genre I
- 42:05Speaker 1: never fucking know about to classic rock? Yeah, I really,
- 42:08Speaker 1: I really just don't know. You only worked at our
- 42:10Speaker 1: classic rock radio station shows. Definitely not that song HeLa Hello, Hello,
- 42:19Speaker 1: Oh where they drink cherry Colallola La?
- 42:25Speaker 4: Name the classic rock band whose hits included Lola, you
- 42:30Speaker 4: really Got Me?
- 42:31Speaker 1: And Come Dancing? Done? I can't remember it.
- 42:35Speaker 2: You really got me?
- 42:37Speaker 6: Now?
- 42:38Speaker 1: It's not that they got it. Didn't go to you
- 42:41Speaker 1: for a lifelive.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Oh no, I have no idea what the answer is.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Don't dance. I know all the songs. I cannot think
- 42:46Speaker 1: of the name right now, girl, you really got me?
- 42:49Speaker 2: Now you really got this.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It's not gonna come to me, oh said, correct answer
- 42:57Speaker 1: is the King the Kids? Yeah, kikes was the last
- 43:02Speaker 1: time I listened to them a long time ago. I
- 43:05Speaker 1: don't think of that music and never listened to it.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Share I like the music questions I tend to Are
- 43:10Speaker 1: they all music questions? Want to be No? No, no,
- 43:13Speaker 1: let's go do something else. Okay, all right, question two?
- 43:19Speaker 4: Al right, people for the next question here, people who
- 43:22Speaker 4: wrote the state farm jingle like a good neighbor State
- 43:26Speaker 4: Farm is there?
- 43:28Speaker 1: It sung?
- 43:29Speaker 4: It was a song. It was a whole campaign, I
- 43:31Speaker 4: believe in the seventies who wrote that this is music too.
- 43:35Speaker 4: But more so, people, what did you do to him
- 43:37Speaker 4: to get these questions?
- 43:38Speaker 1: They're hard, They're so messed up. You got you think
- 43:42Speaker 1: that's hard? Yeah? I know. See this is the problem.
- 43:44Speaker 1: All right, So this is a problem.
- 43:46Speaker 4: I have folders and folders and folders of trivia questions.
- 43:49Speaker 4: This is from August of twenty twenty two and the
- 43:51Speaker 4: question was worded. He's set to play the PPL Center
- 43:54Speaker 4: in Allentown next Friday night. And he's also the dude
- 43:57Speaker 4: that wrote the state farm jingle like a neighbor state farmer?
- 44:01Speaker 1: Is there? Was it Rod Stewart or something? I don't
- 44:04Speaker 1: know Rod Stewart. I have no idea. I have no idea. No,
- 44:09Speaker 1: it's Arry Man alone. I didn't know that too. Yeah,
- 44:13Speaker 1: it just doesn't he knows all these afterwards. Yeah, but
- 44:16Speaker 1: like stuff I don't think about. It's not I don't
- 44:18Speaker 1: have it here and are ready to go.
- 44:19Speaker 4: Barry Maniloe and we when we said Lola earlier, you
- 44:22Speaker 4: were singing her name was Lola. That's Copacabana by Barry Manilo.
- 44:28Speaker 4: I did that intentionally. Very good, very good. He does
- 44:32Speaker 4: have skills. You question three pop culture? What was the
- 44:41Speaker 4: name of Hello Kitty's twin sister?
- 44:44Speaker 1: What is that? Forty two years old? I have zero children.
- 44:50Speaker 1: You're forty two years old. That means you're forty two
- 44:53Speaker 1: years ago. Hello Kitty was a thing. Really, I think
- 44:55Speaker 1: so I remember that at all, more so than when
- 44:58Speaker 1: I was a kid. I can't even go to jen
- 44:59Speaker 1: with all these facial expressions. You never watched hello, Kitty. No,
- 45:04Speaker 1: it was a show. I didn't know.
- 45:07Speaker 2: I didn't know that either.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Really we're Maybe it wasn't a showy two you're who
- 45:12Speaker 1: knows you're twenty five. Maybe maybe it.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Was just her twin sister, like I don't know the
- 45:19Speaker 4: the plush toy twin sister.
- 45:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I have no idea.

- 48:35Speaker 3: the flavor goes away too fast, and then it's not
- 48:39Speaker 3: as great.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but for a healthier snack, it tastes a little
- 48:44Speaker 1: too healthy for me. It is. He is right, though,

- 49:44Speaker 4: it's gonna taste.
- 49:44Speaker 1: I agree we can. While we're munching on that, Jen
- 49:47Speaker 1: can talk about the show that's coming up and what
- 49:49Speaker 1: else Cobra has going on as an improvised comedian that's paid.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Yeah.

- 50:10Speaker 6: and D people out there, there's so many. We learned
- 50:13Speaker 6: a lot today today. We learned on the podcast that
- 50:15Speaker 6: is not a card game. It involves dice and goblins
- 50:19Speaker 6: and fucking spooky shit.
- 50:20Speaker 2: And yeah, yeah it's fun.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Some campaigns, like real D and D games can last
- 50:25Speaker 3: for years and years and years.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Geez, I'm usually checked out after like an hour.
- 50:29Speaker 3: Yeah. No, these people are die hard and honestly, like
- 50:32Speaker 3: if I had the attention span, I think it would
- 50:34Speaker 3: be really fun to do.
- 50:35Speaker 1: So it is a game, right, it is a game.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's yeah, you're going on a quest to solve
- 50:42Speaker 3: solve something or find something or battle someone.
- 50:47Speaker 2: So it's very very fun.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's this episode drops on Thursday. So that's
- 50:52Speaker 1: coming up on Saturday.

- 51:13Speaker 3: They're all over the place. You like your snack, It's
- 51:15Speaker 3: it's very good. I'm trying not to chew it right
- 51:17Speaker 3: now because I'm right next to the microphone.
- 51:19Speaker 1: And that's the best part. People tune in for this
- 51:21Speaker 1: part for the chew chewing and yeah, ASMR if it
- 51:24Speaker 1: all exactly pretty good Harvest snaps, mango chili lime check
- 51:29Speaker 1: those out videos.
- 51:31Speaker 4: Maybe that's what I could do, but you're too loud.
- 51:34Speaker 4: That's the whole idea of ASMR though. You just like,
- 51:37Speaker 4: you know, rub your body all over the microphone. Is
- 51:40Speaker 4: that not what you do?
- 51:41Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 51:41Speaker 1: You like tap yay.
- 51:44Speaker 4: How would you describe ASMR to people that don't know
- 51:47Speaker 4: what ASMR is?
- 51:48Speaker 1: Like audio stimulation?
- 51:51Speaker 4: Yeah, there are videos like hours long on YouTube ASMR
- 51:56Speaker 4: videos of like people typing or you know, a woman
- 51:59Speaker 4: with create nails going like on the microphone.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Yeah, what's listening to?
- 52:05Speaker 3: People get aroused by that kind of I know, it
- 52:08Speaker 3: like goes right into their core and they're like, oh,
- 52:10Speaker 3: you know what, I.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Totally forgot about this.
- 52:13Speaker 4: It's so funny that you earlier that you brought up
- 52:16Speaker 4: the foot thing because a month ago when I lost
- 52:19Speaker 4: my job. I did indeed get this DM on Instagram
- 52:24Speaker 4: from this page that was called lvy foot Finder, Oh
- 52:28Speaker 4: my god, which is a real page. Weird, and uh,
- 52:32Speaker 4: whoever this person was was like, so sorry to hear
- 52:34Speaker 4: about your job. I'm sure you'll find something better, but
- 52:38Speaker 4: if not, you can always sell feet picks. And I
- 52:42Speaker 4: totally forgot about this, and so I liked the message,
- 52:45Speaker 4: and then I went back and was like, yeah, definitely,
- 52:48Speaker 4: and but then the next message was like, we got
- 52:51Speaker 4: to arrange a photo shoot.
- 52:52Speaker 1: It's like, now, dude, I'm not rolling. I'm not going
- 52:54Speaker 1: anywhere for you to take pictures of my If you
- 52:56Speaker 1: want to, like pay me money for me to snap
- 52:58Speaker 1: pictures on my feet for you to have that, that's fine,
- 53:00Speaker 1: but I'm not going anywhere to professional photo shoot of
- 53:04Speaker 1: my toes. Now we're getting a little carried.
- 53:06Speaker 3: I think whoever is running this page should keep reaching
- 53:09Speaker 3: out to you and keep the pressure on.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Don't have your face in them, you know, otherwise people are.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Gonna know that they'll never know, they'll never know that

- 53:27Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 53:28Speaker 3: Look at that, you're a straight up monkey man.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Using the word stretches. Kind of where I think where
- 53:33Speaker 1: we should end this.
- 53:35Speaker 4: This little piggy went to the market. This little piggy
- 53:39Speaker 4: made me money. That's right, this little piggy paid on mortgage.
