- 1:02Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I return favorite. He
- 1:06Speaker 2: is an expert in so many things. Zach Peter. Welcome
- 1:11Speaker 2: back to Juicy Scoop, host of No Filter with Zach Peter.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Is it just Zach or is it No Filter? It's
- 1:19Speaker 2: No Filter with your full name.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Yes. Just on Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald. But on Instagram,
- 1:23Speaker 3: it's just at No Filter with Zach.
- 1:25Speaker 5: Got it.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Because it was too long. But yes, the full show
- 1:27Speaker 3: is No Filter with Zach Peter.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yes. Um, yes. So we are going to get into
- 1:30Speaker 2: a lot of things. You were, uh, you know, I had,
- 1:33Speaker 2: I had Nick on, on Thursday, we got into Blake
- 1:37Speaker 2: and Justin and he was clearly team Blake and Ryan.
- 1:41Speaker 2: And a lot of people were like, you need to
- 1:43Speaker 2: get Zach back on. And so there are some things
- 1:47Speaker 2: that have come up in the last couple of weeks.
- 1:48Speaker 2: So we're going to catch up on that, but we're
- 1:50Speaker 2: going to start the show off with some interesting housewife
- 1:53Speaker 2: breaking news since you're an expert in that as well. So, um, Tamara,
- 1:59Speaker 2: judge of Real Housewives of OC, announced via her Instagram
- 2:04Speaker 2: that she has quit Real Housewives of OC. I saw
- 2:08Speaker 2: over the weekend people in New Orleans had seen them
- 2:12Speaker 2: filming Real Housewives of OC. There was photos of Gretchen, Shannon, Gina, Emily.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Who else? I saw Heather Dubrow in the photos.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Katie was there.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Tamara, Katie.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Gina, all of them.
- 2:22Speaker 2: So all of them. There's no new people.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 2:25Speaker 2: No. And so I was like, oh, that's cool. They're
- 2:28Speaker 2: in New Orleans are filming. And then this popped up.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And then Andy just kind of was like, I can't
- 2:34Speaker 2: speak on it on his radio show. And, you know,
- 2:38Speaker 2: her best friend, one of her best friends, Teddy, is,
- 2:41Speaker 2: you know, going through incredible medical situation with her cancer.
- 2:48Speaker 2: And so it sounds like maybe that that's what she's
- 2:53Speaker 2: saying is like, what am I doing filming this show?
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Bullshitting about something when my friend is like, you know,
- 3:01Speaker 2: going through the hardest thing in her life. So what
- 3:04Speaker 2: do you think?
- 3:05Speaker 3: It's very Meredith Marks, right? when they're fighting and she's
- 3:09Speaker 3: in the hot seat and then suddenly all the women
- 3:10Speaker 3: are grilling her and she's just like the children of
- 3:12Speaker 3: the world. And she like goes to something. I think
- 3:16Speaker 3: that's what's happening here. She's probably in the hot seat.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Gretchen came back and Gretchen made no, you know, there were,
- 3:22Speaker 3: there's no speculation that Gretchen was going to come back
- 3:24Speaker 3: and put her in the hot seat. Like Gretchen was
- 3:26Speaker 3: ready for her. And she says, Tamara's been terrible for years.
- 3:29Speaker 3: And you know, it was time to hold her accountable.
- 3:30Speaker 3: So I think Tamara's probably taking the heat this season and,
- 3:33Speaker 3: And then she just had this moment of like there
- 3:35Speaker 3: are real problems in the world and other people are
- 3:37Speaker 3: dealing with things. And my friend Teddy is going through
- 3:39Speaker 3: a really serious situation. And I'm, you know, and she
- 3:42Speaker 3: doesn't want to take the heat. And I think she's
- 3:43Speaker 3: probably quitting and she's using Teddy's diagnosis and her struggle,
- 3:48Speaker 3: you know, as an out.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Okay. Well, I think a couple things can be true
- 3:54Speaker 2: at the same time. So we all remember the famous
- 3:56Speaker 2: scene when she went running on some other girl's trip.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And took off her heels and went running. And she's,
- 4:02Speaker 2: you know, athletic little girl. So she was running pretty good.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And it was, you know, you'll never see my face again.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And so this is what I think. This is just
- 4:13Speaker 2: a prediction of mine. I think if there was one
- 4:18Speaker 2: particular conversation on the show, fight, conversation, confrontation, that led
- 4:25Speaker 2: her to go, I'm out. I think... that possibly at
- 4:32Speaker 2: one point Gretchen may have brought up to Tamara how
- 4:37Speaker 2: critical Tamara was of Slade being a father to his
- 4:43Speaker 2: now deceased son, but who was critical with, I don't
- 4:48Speaker 2: know the diagnosis, but he had two sons. One was
- 4:52Speaker 2: the older one that we saw on the show with
- 4:53Speaker 2: Joe that played the guitar. And then there was a
- 4:56Speaker 2: younger one that we saw on the show back then
- 4:58Speaker 2: That time I don't think was ill. With that ex-wife,
- 5:02Speaker 2: because I think they had different moms, sometimes that ex-wife would,
- 5:07Speaker 2: I guess, communicate with some other housewives and share that
- 5:11Speaker 2: she was not feeling like she was getting the support
- 5:14Speaker 2: from Slade. When the poor boy passed, Gretchen shared a
- 5:20Speaker 2: lot of photos that they were with him. that Skylar,
- 5:25Speaker 2: their daughter, was with them and all this stuff. But
- 5:27Speaker 2: we would hear oftentimes from housewives, Tamara being one of them,
- 5:31Speaker 2: that Slade was not participatory financially or whatnot in this
- 5:36Speaker 2: child's life. So I think something might have happened where
- 5:42Speaker 2: she was saying that. And then also Tamara being in
- 5:45Speaker 2: a hot seat with that situation, but also being in
- 5:48Speaker 2: an extremely vulnerable situation that her best friend is fighting
- 5:51Speaker 2: for her life was like, Oh, my– I can't defend
- 5:56Speaker 2: that behavior.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 2: And then also be in this position. And the job
- 6:01Speaker 2: we– you and I both know the job of being
- 6:04Speaker 2: a housewife is 99% emotional warfare.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:09Speaker 2: It is– even the women that come off like Teflon women,
- 6:13Speaker 2: Ramona and stuff, when I've talked to them now that
- 6:16Speaker 2: they're out are like, I'm so happy I'm out. I'm
- 6:19Speaker 2: so like– it is such an emotional thing. Yeah. Being
- 6:23Speaker 2: that she's obviously very close to Teddy, it's not only
- 6:26Speaker 2: probably her best friend but her business partner with the podcast.
- 6:30Speaker 2: But also it's having the moments of like, I don't
- 6:34Speaker 2: need this shit. Whatever job you're doing, whether you're an
- 6:37Speaker 2: accountant and your mom is dying and someone's like, really?
- 6:40Speaker 2: You're not going to come the day after your mom,
- 6:43Speaker 2: you know, your look, whatever. And you're like– fuck you
- 6:46Speaker 2: my mom's dying I don't need this shit like whatever
- 6:48Speaker 2: it is and so I think that it was just
- 6:51Speaker 2: that kind of emotional break and I wouldn't be surprised
- 6:57Speaker 2: if she comes back.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Yeah I don't think she's actually going to she's gonna
- 7:01Speaker 3: take a she's gonna take a B and then she'll
- 7:04Speaker 3: end up filming she'll probably take a week well we
- 7:06Speaker 3: heard last this season of Beverly Hills like Kyle when
- 7:09Speaker 3: she left In the robe, she didn't film for two
- 7:12Speaker 3: weeks and then came back.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Oh, really? Okay.
- 7:14Speaker 3: So she had quit the show. And I just think
- 7:16Speaker 3: that's probably what's going on with Tamara. I agree with you.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I think Teddy's recent brain tumors are weighing heavily on her.
- 7:24Speaker 3: That is her close friend. She works with her very often.
- 7:28Speaker 3: And I think it's both things, right? Something... I think
- 7:31Speaker 3: Gretchen clearly came to the table with something.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And maybe she has some dirt that she dug up
- 7:36Speaker 3: on Tamara and who Tamara was talking to or communicating
- 7:39Speaker 3: with or something. Like, it's either something like that or
- 7:42Speaker 3: it's something about Eddie that she doesn't want out on
- 7:44Speaker 3: the show. Because those are the only times housewives get
- 7:46Speaker 3: that emotional as if it's something about the husband.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Yeah, where they feel like if this gets out there,
- 7:52Speaker 2: this could be the end of my business as I
- 7:55Speaker 2: know it or my family as I know it. Which
- 7:57Speaker 2: is why this job is emotional warfare and why it
- 8:02Speaker 2: is so much harder than anything anyone ever gives them
- 8:05Speaker 2: credit for and why she said, Tamara, mental health is
- 8:09Speaker 2: also health. And I'm doing this for my mental health.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I mean, also, I've heard that in filming, the other
- 8:16Speaker 2: cast members, a couple of the cast members were, you know,
- 8:21Speaker 2: very sympathetic to what she's going through as far as
- 8:24Speaker 2: being Teddy's, you know, very good friend. But some of
- 8:27Speaker 2: them never reached out and some of them have not given,
- 8:32Speaker 2: you know, been that like caring or it doesn't seem
- 8:35Speaker 2: like they're caring. And so that's probably, she's probably clocking that.
- 8:40Speaker 2: And then if one of those people came at her,
- 8:42Speaker 2: she was like, you didn't even fucking call me when
- 8:43Speaker 2: you knew my best friend was going through this. Like
- 8:46Speaker 2: F off.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Well, I mean, that's the game, right? Like you, I
- 8:48Speaker 3: think you have moments where you think the friendships are
- 8:50Speaker 3: deeper than they actually are. And you realize it's a
- 8:52Speaker 3: game of Survivor. We're all just here to do, we're
- 8:54Speaker 3: gladiators in the arena. And our job is to entertain
- 8:57Speaker 3: the crowd. And they want to see us, you know,
- 8:59Speaker 3: come for blood.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Great analogy.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Yeah. So I just think, but I mean, it's also
- 9:03Speaker 3: kind of, and it's hard because I really do like
- 9:04Speaker 3: Tamara on a personal level outside of the show. But
- 9:07Speaker 3: it's hard because it's like she has been one of
- 9:09Speaker 3: the ones that has put the women, you know, feet
- 9:11Speaker 3: to the fire every time there's been something that she's
- 9:14Speaker 3: had to grill them on. So it's interesting that it's
- 9:16Speaker 3: almost like her housewife's karma just collectively coming back.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I mean, she was the one that put out the
- 9:22Speaker 2: rumor that Kelly Dodd had done a train. Yeah. And
- 9:28Speaker 2: then made Vicky repeat it when they were in those
- 9:30Speaker 2: weird Marie Antoinette outfits.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:33Speaker 2: And there was no proof to it at all. And
- 9:36Speaker 2: just putting it out, oh, well, I heard this. And
- 9:40Speaker 2: if you go way back to the Gretchen and Tamara shit,
- 9:44Speaker 2: Gretchen had some ex-boyfriend that put out salacious photos of
- 9:51Speaker 2: her or something.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Tamara put that out in the universe, and that was
- 9:57Speaker 2: really where their, like, thing started.
- 10:01Speaker 3: It's hard because it's like you've had, I mean, every
- 10:05Speaker 3: housewife at some point has had their season where they're
- 10:07Speaker 3: just getting annihilated. We saw Shannon went through it last season.
- 10:11Speaker 3: They brought back Alexis Bellino. So it's really Tamara in
- 10:14Speaker 3: the same position.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Except Shannon didn't get annihilated.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Oh, no, the fans ended up turning on Tamara because
- 10:19Speaker 3: they ended up embracing Shannon.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Feeling sorry for her.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean, but.
- 10:23Speaker 2: They're filming of it. Thank God the cops never, that footage.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Never was seen. Oh, that body cam footage.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I know. Yeah, we have it of Karen Huger.
- 10:32Speaker 3: She's just walking the dog.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah, mugshot. The only housewife in history to be arrested
- 10:38Speaker 2: whose mugshot we have not seen is Shannon Bedore's, which. hey,
- 10:43Speaker 2: good attorneys can be a valuable thing.
- 10:46Speaker 3: But that has to be wild, because you know that
- 10:48Speaker 3: body cam footage is crazy. She's pretending she was walking Archie,
- 10:51Speaker 3: and now we know she had the bloody face. Could
- 10:53Speaker 3: you imagine somebody just walking down the street with their
- 10:55Speaker 3: dog and be like, oh, it was just my dog
- 10:57Speaker 3: had to go to the bathroom. Like, who's going to
- 10:59Speaker 3: buy that? But so, yeah, but Shannon did go through
- 11:03Speaker 3: it during filming, though. Afterwards, the audience was on Shannon's side,
- 11:06Speaker 3: but going through it, having to deal with Alexis, and
- 11:08Speaker 3: then having Tamara on her.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And handling herself well, she did. Yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 3: And she did the best that she could in that situation,
- 11:14Speaker 3: which is kind of what you sign up for. You
- 11:16Speaker 3: know that there's always going to be. And Tamara went
- 11:17Speaker 3: into the season knowing Gretchen was coming back, knowing that
- 11:20Speaker 3: the audience wanted a takedown season of Tamara. Like, she
- 11:22Speaker 3: knew all of these things going into it that, you know.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Also, I think there's a lot of harshness memories of
- 11:31Speaker 2: Gretchen's because there was this friendship bracelet moment where it
- 11:35Speaker 2: was like a pink little, like, bracelet that that tamra
- 11:40Speaker 2: gives it to her and i remember this was so
- 11:42Speaker 2: long ago and i was very friendly with tamra at
- 11:44Speaker 2: the time and we we had a show and we
- 11:50Speaker 2: needed guests because it was a guest host and i
- 11:53Speaker 2: said what about uh i get these two housewives and
- 11:57Speaker 2: at the time they were friends now you know so
- 11:59Speaker 2: i get tamra and gretchen on and it was a
- 12:01Speaker 2: great episode and it was fun and they did great
- 12:05Speaker 2: And then later on I have my book party and
- 12:08Speaker 2: I invite them both. And I find out from Heather
- 12:10Speaker 2: Dubrow that allegedly– not allegedly. It's what she told me.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Tamara was bummed that I invited Gretchen. And I go,
- 12:19Speaker 2: but they're good friends now. They did the friendship bracelet
- 12:21Speaker 2: and all this stuff. And she's like– and Tamara was like, oh, please.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I did that because the audience hated me and I
- 12:27Speaker 2: had to make up with Gretchen. And I think Gretchen
- 12:31Speaker 2: being like– a woman of God and Christian. She believed.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And I think Gretchen from 12 years back is holding
- 12:39Speaker 2: the fact that you fake pretended to be my friend. Remember,
- 12:43Speaker 2: she also at one time opened up to Gretchen and
- 12:47Speaker 2: nobody else that she had had a suicide attempt back
- 12:53Speaker 2: when she was 21. And I remember Vicky was like,
- 12:56Speaker 2: what are you doing here with Gretchen? We're best friends.
- 12:59Speaker 2: So she was doing all that stuff and making Gretchen
- 13:01Speaker 2: feel like, She was a real friend. And 10 years later,
- 13:05Speaker 2: when you realize that someone was not a real friend, yeah,
- 13:08Speaker 2: you're not going to get over it. And now you're
- 13:10Speaker 2: working with them. You're going to be like, yeah, I
- 13:13Speaker 2: got your number. And I think that some, something happened.
- 13:17Speaker 3: She should have, she, If anything, she was probably the
- 13:20Speaker 3: most prepared coming in. Oh, she had 10 years of prep.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Well, not only that, but I mean Tamra. Because when
- 13:26Speaker 3: she hit the fan with Erica, she couldn't predict that
- 13:30Speaker 3: the divorce was going to happen and that the legal
- 13:32Speaker 3: stuff was going to happen while they were filming. And
- 13:34Speaker 3: Shannon didn't really know that Alexis was going to be
- 13:36Speaker 3: so big on the cast last season. Right. She was
- 13:38Speaker 3: just kind of creeping back in.
- 13:40Speaker 2: She was banking on that everyone would hate Shannon for
- 13:42Speaker 2: the DUI. Yeah.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and so this was the one season that Tamara
- 13:46Speaker 3: should have been the most prepared armor on, ready to go.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Do you think that Tamara will still be a bridesmaid
- 13:52Speaker 2: in the Alexis John Jansen wedding? No. No, no. Do
- 13:55Speaker 2: you think she'll even attend?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Probably not. Listen, like you said with the friendship bracelet,
- 14:00Speaker 3: she's so hyper aware of the audience that she knows
- 14:04Speaker 3: that that's not a good look. And I don't think
- 14:05Speaker 3: she's genuinely that close to them anymore.
- 14:08Speaker 2: No, of course not.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Especially not after they threw John and Alexis under the
- 14:11Speaker 3: bus at the finale or right after the reunion when
- 14:13Speaker 3: they all showed up at the house and were like,
- 14:14Speaker 3: here's what John and Alexis told us at dinners last night.
- 14:17Speaker 2: They did the Fab Force 5 OC edition.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Whatever that is. Yeah. So I don't think that friendship
- 14:24Speaker 3: is holding on too strong.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Right. So we'll see. But obviously we all are thinking
- 14:30Speaker 2: about Teddy and her recovery. Mia of Real Housewives of Potomac.
- 14:36Speaker 2: We've spoken a little bit about this show in that
- 14:39Speaker 2: she was the one who was separated from her husband,
- 14:43Speaker 2: but he was still around Gordon. Her storyline was she
- 14:45Speaker 2: didn't know if one of her sons was Gordon's or not.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Turns out it was Gordon's, and the girls all called
- 14:50Speaker 2: her BS. In using her son as a fake storyline
- 14:53Speaker 2: in that she probably always knew that he was her child's,
- 14:58Speaker 2: that they were the actual dad. Otherwise, it would have
- 15:00Speaker 2: been really fucked to have put that on camera, but
- 15:02Speaker 2: it's also fucked just to have played with that. So
- 15:05Speaker 2: they called her on it on the show, and now
- 15:07Speaker 2: she said... So after much reflections, I have made the
- 15:11Speaker 2: difficult decision to step away from The Real Housewives of Potomac.
- 15:15Speaker 2: This journey has been one of incredible blah, blah, blah.
- 15:19Speaker 2: As a mother and a businesswoman, I have always prioritized
- 15:22Speaker 2: taking care of those that I love. I'm beyond grateful.
- 15:26Speaker 2: So a smart one, you know, also she should know
- 15:29Speaker 2: that there's always room to come back.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 2: And there's always room to be on the villain, the traitors.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Whatever. Yeah, if she just– if it's like, yeah, I
- 15:41Speaker 2: can't go back and film with these people because they
- 15:43Speaker 2: probably are going to start in about a month. And
- 15:45Speaker 2: she's probably just like, I can't do it.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Do you think this was her choice?
- 15:48Speaker 2: We'll never know. I think probably not. I think whenever
- 15:53Speaker 2: you walk off, they want to also make you– and
- 15:57Speaker 2: she walked off with most– she did most of the show,
- 15:59Speaker 2: but she walked off probably the– you know, with a
- 16:01Speaker 2: couple hours left of filming of the reunion. And I
- 16:04Speaker 2: think that is a big no-no. It's a big no-no
- 16:07Speaker 2: not to show up.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:08Speaker 2: And it's a big no-no to get up and leave.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:10Speaker 2: And they want to make an example so the other
- 16:14Speaker 2: women know that you just cannot do that because that's
- 16:17Speaker 2: what the show is. It's about holding you to the
- 16:20Speaker 2: fire at a reunion.
- 16:21Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like this kind of puts the
- 16:22Speaker 3: final nail in the coffin for Potomac, though. I feel
- 16:25Speaker 3: like the show really went downhill when we lost Candace
- 16:28Speaker 3: and Monique. And then now we have Karen. Karen's locked up.
- 16:31Speaker 3: She's not filming anymore. She hasn't made her official announcement,
- 16:33Speaker 3: but writing's on.
- 16:34Speaker 2: The wall there. Or they do the whole pause until
- 16:36Speaker 2: she comes out. Oh, God. Because she'll be out in
- 16:38Speaker 2: a year.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 2: She only has to do a year, and she might
- 16:40Speaker 2: get out in nine months.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Yeah, she'll Jen Shaw it.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm sure she will be lovely.
- 16:46Speaker 3: I mean, Jen Shaw is working that system. She's out
- 16:48Speaker 3: next year.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:50Speaker 3: You know what's crazy?
- 16:51Speaker 2: 100% she'll be coming back to Salt Lake.
- 16:53Speaker 3: I had a prison consultant on my podcast at the
- 16:56Speaker 3: time that she was getting ready to go to trial.
- 16:58Speaker 2: You mean like that movie, like remember, you're from the
- 17:00Speaker 2: movie with Will Ferrell. He has to go to a
- 17:02Speaker 2: white collar prison. So he hires a prison consultant. So
- 17:06Speaker 2: there's a real thing.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Yes.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And what are the tips? Cause I, yeah.
- 17:10Speaker 3: And so I asked him, so this was when she
- 17:12Speaker 3: was headed to trial and I was like, what do you,
- 17:14Speaker 3: Jen Shaw? I was like, what do you think that
- 17:17Speaker 3: she should do? Like, how do you think that she
- 17:19Speaker 3: should navigate this to like get time reduced or to
- 17:21Speaker 3: not get time? Cause at this point she was still
- 17:23Speaker 3: innocent in her head. And so He gave me this
- 17:26Speaker 3: whole list. And like, this is what she do. She
- 17:27Speaker 3: should go into like a rehab alcohol program and that'll
- 17:30Speaker 3: get a year taken off. And he gave me this whole,
- 17:33Speaker 3: you know, list of things that she should do. And
- 17:34Speaker 3: then ultimately she ended up pleading guilty. But from there,
- 17:38Speaker 3: I think she ended up hiring him. And then she
- 17:40Speaker 3: ended up doing everything that he said to do on
- 17:43Speaker 3: my podcast.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 3: So and now look at it. She's following all the tips.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Now she's getting out early. She's doing Shawmazing Abs with
- 17:50Speaker 3: Elizabeth Holmes. They had their Barbie prison pageant, and she's
- 17:55Speaker 3: making the best of it.
- 17:57Speaker 2: I know what I'm going to do when I get,
- 18:00Speaker 2: if I ever.
- 18:00Speaker 5: Locked up.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Please, dear God, no. Is I would do a little
- 18:05Speaker 2: stand-up comedy class.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Oh, that's smart.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I would teach the girls. How to get five minutes together. Wow.
- 18:12Speaker 2: And comedy is tragedy plus time. We all suffered some tragedy.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Let's hear what got you in here or your worst relationship.
- 18:21Speaker 2: And you work on five minutes and we have a
- 18:23Speaker 2: little comedy show at the end of it. And then
- 18:26Speaker 2: the guards would be nice to everybody because they're entertained. First,
- 18:30Speaker 2: I thought I would go in and learn to imitate
- 18:32Speaker 2: the guards so that the inmates would think I'm a
- 18:34Speaker 2: cool chick.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 2: But then I thought the guards will hate me for that.
- 18:38Speaker 2: You've really thought this through.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I'm concerned.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yes. Also, how good will I look with solid gray hair?
- 18:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Because I'm not going to be able to get my
- 18:47Speaker 2: Madison Reed dye job in there.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Well, I don't know. Jen Shaw was doing beauty tips,
- 18:51Speaker 3: and she was teaching the women how to read and write.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Did you read that? Oh, that's nice. She has her
- 18:55Speaker 3: little blog that she does, and so her team will
- 18:57Speaker 3: update people on Jen's diary entries. And she was teaching
- 19:01Speaker 3: the women how to read and write. And then she
- 19:03Speaker 3: was writing the screenplay about housewives in prison.
- 19:06Speaker 2: I mean, I have to say, as a woman, I
- 19:10Speaker 2: do feel like female prison, based on which prison you
- 19:13Speaker 2: go to, is like a world of difference than if
- 19:16Speaker 2: you're a guy. I just think, you know, 99% of
- 19:18Speaker 2: hardened criminals are men. So, you know, and men are
- 19:25Speaker 2: just different. So I think it would be way worse
- 19:27Speaker 2: to be a guy going to prison than a woman
- 19:30Speaker 2: in general.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:31Speaker 2: In general. So like, okay. So anyway, people still want
- 19:36Speaker 2: to see like Housewives Behind Bars.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Employers, rewarding your staff with vouchers this year? Here's the
- 19:42Speaker 1: good news. With optionscard.ie, there's no forms, no uploads, no delays.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Just choose who to reward and how much.
- 19:40Speaker 2: One reward.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Endless choice.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Skip the hassle.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Reward the easy way.
- 20:06Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:09Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:12Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 20:16Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 20:23Speaker 4: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 20:25Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:28Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 20:33Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:35Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 20:37Speaker 3: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 20:39Speaker 3: started crying.
- 20:40Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 20:45Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 20:48Speaker 5: happens next.
- 20:49Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 20:51Speaker 3: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches. You can
- 20:56Speaker 2: use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 20:57Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:12Speaker 2: Okay, let's get into the latest with Blake and Justin.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Blake Lively was wearing an odd dress. A lot of
- 21:21Speaker 2: people said it looked like a boba tea.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Yeah, the boba tea.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I saw that.
- 21:23Speaker 1: The boba tea.
- 21:24Speaker 2: It was kind of a nude brown with black balls
- 21:27Speaker 2: on it. Yeah, it's latex. It looked kind of 1950s,
- 21:30Speaker 2: almost kind of like a Minnie Mouse cartoony. And she
- 21:34Speaker 2: was at South... What is it?
- 21:36Speaker 3: South by Southwest.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yes. To premiere A Simple Favor 2. And this was
- 21:43Speaker 2: kind of an interesting photo because behind where the fans are,
- 21:48Speaker 2: she says hi to this woman. And this is coming
- 21:51Speaker 2: from who is this?
- 21:53Speaker 3: Elridge, Elsie.
- 21:53Speaker 2: OK, sorry. I want to give her props. She noticed
- 21:58Speaker 2: that if you were just watching this as a regular person,
- 22:00Speaker 2: you just think she's talking to people behind the gates
- 22:03Speaker 2: to take photos, headshots, sign something. But this woman is
- 22:06Speaker 2: actually Paul Feig's, who is the director of the movie's wife.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Yeah. Which is weird because, you know.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Why is she behind the thing acting like a fan?
- 22:17Speaker 3: So Blake walked right out of the car and passed
- 22:20Speaker 3: by this little, like, group of fans.
- 22:24Speaker 5: Right.
- 22:24Speaker 3: And so what I think it was is they strategically
- 22:27Speaker 3: placed people that they needed to be there so that
- 22:29Speaker 3: it could look like people wanted to take selfies and
- 22:31Speaker 3: get off.
- 22:31Speaker 2: And we're not going to ask her about Justin.
- 22:33Speaker 5: Correct.
- 22:34Speaker 3: And they wanted to do that because even Anna Kendrick,
- 22:36Speaker 3: like people try to ask her or Variety tried to
- 22:38Speaker 3: ask her about the Blake situation and that got shut
- 22:41Speaker 3: down really quickly.
- 22:42Speaker 2: I want to say really quickly what she said. The
- 22:44Speaker 2: clip I saw was she said, oh, I did ayahuasca
- 22:48Speaker 2: last year, so I don't remember anything. We saw recently
- 22:52Speaker 2: that Ariana Grande, when asked about her album, said, oh,
- 22:56Speaker 2: I went to this clinic that erased my memories, which
- 22:59Speaker 2: there is a real clinic like that. And then I,
- 23:02Speaker 2: over the weekend, finally watched Blink Twice. Did you see
- 23:06Speaker 2: Blink Twice?
- 23:06Speaker 4: No.
- 23:07Speaker 2: You can watch it on Prime for free. And Zoe
- 23:13Speaker 2: Kravitz wrote it. And it's very juicy about this billionaire
- 23:18Speaker 2: who has an island and people go on it. And
- 23:21Speaker 2: it's kind of Epstein-ish, kind of based on Me Too
- 23:24Speaker 2: and being in the industry is how she wrote the movie.
- 23:27Speaker 2: But there is a part where their memories are erased.
- 23:31Speaker 2: They can't remember stuff to tell. And so I'm like,
- 23:35Speaker 2: it's kind of weird that that was a hit movie
- 23:38Speaker 2: and now people are saying this to get out of,
- 23:41Speaker 2: I just think it's strange. But okay, so get back
- 23:44Speaker 2: to this premiere.
- 23:46Speaker 3: So, yeah, so she got off, and she's taking selfies
- 23:48Speaker 3: with everybody, and, you know, it seems like it was
- 23:51Speaker 3: all preset that she was supposed to walk by this
- 23:53Speaker 3: one little group of people. Like, one of them conveniently
- 23:56Speaker 3: happened to be a guy that works at, like, a
- 23:58Speaker 3: domestic violence awareness hotline, and he just happened to be
- 24:01Speaker 3: there taking selfies with her, and he's, like, a big
- 24:03Speaker 3: Blake fan. Is that the guy.
- 24:05Speaker 2: In the black and white jacket? So some people are
- 24:08Speaker 2: accusing him of being a hired actor, and then another
- 24:11Speaker 2: person said, hey, just so you know, like, really dedicated
- 24:15Speaker 2: fans will go to every premiere and, and you do
- 24:19Speaker 2: as this start sometimes recognize some of your most dedicated
- 24:23Speaker 2: fans at things. So the fact that she was like, Oh, hi,
- 24:26Speaker 2: isn't total BS, you know, like she really could recognize
- 24:30Speaker 2: him from previous things.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Yes.
- 24:32Speaker 3: But he was also in the venue and he would like,
- 24:34Speaker 3: she was spotted with him a few different times at
- 24:36Speaker 3: the event, which tells me that like, they just got
- 24:38Speaker 3: a group of people and they wanted to make sure
- 24:39Speaker 3: that she had support and she had people that wanted
- 24:41Speaker 3: to take photos. I mean, but putting the director's wife
- 24:44Speaker 3: out there for a selfie is really stupid because she's
- 24:46Speaker 3: going to see her backstage anyway.
- 24:48Speaker 2: They're going to be in the VIP section of the
- 24:49Speaker 2: party after. Like, that was very.
- 24:51Speaker 3: That was dumb. But so, yeah. And it's just... It's obvious.
- 24:57Speaker 3: I mean, but you know how a lot of these
- 24:58Speaker 3: things are. Like my background is in, you know, celebrity charities.
- 25:02Speaker 3: And so we would do that. We would have the
- 25:03Speaker 3: family so that the celeb would walk by and like, oh,
- 25:05Speaker 3: here's the family from the grant program. From the charity.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 3: So that we could get the photo op with the photographer.
- 25:10Speaker 3: And then they have the videographer. And surprisingly, that makes
- 25:12Speaker 3: it into our end of year campaign. Like all of
- 25:13Speaker 3: these things are also produced and like planned out that
- 25:18Speaker 3: that was not by accident.
- 25:19Speaker 2: By the way, I'm just remembering when I first met you.
- 25:26Speaker 2: And you worked for Jenny's charity, Jenny McCarthy. And we
- 25:31Speaker 2: did a comedy show in San Francisco. And I saw
- 25:39Speaker 2: the lineup. And normally, ego-wise, as a stand-up, you want
- 25:46Speaker 2: a headline. You want to go last. You know, that's
- 25:49Speaker 2: like a bigger thing.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Yeah, you close the show.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Right. So I... Saw it, and I saw a couple
- 25:56Speaker 2: comedians go, and then there is a portion about what
- 26:00Speaker 2: the charity is for, to give, to show the work
- 26:04Speaker 2: they've done.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Right.
- 26:05Speaker 2: And it's going to be a tear-jerker moment.
- 26:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Okay? Of good, happy tears, but tears. So I kept
- 26:18Speaker 2: that to myself, and I said to whoever it was,
- 26:21Speaker 2: it might have been you, I said, you know, now
- 26:25Speaker 2: Whitney had to go before me.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Whitney Cummings.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Because she had another gig in San Francisco. So I
- 26:31Speaker 2: think I said something, Josh Wolf. I said, you know,
- 26:35Speaker 2: Josh is just higher energy and a stronger stand-up than
- 26:39Speaker 2: I am.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:40Speaker 2: So he should go. Just after me, meaning after, because
- 26:46Speaker 2: I was supposed to follow the sad video.
- 26:48Speaker 3: So there's, so at these shows, so we have the comedians,
- 26:50Speaker 3: but then there's a sad video in the middle. And
- 26:52Speaker 3: then that's where you call the audience to give, donate, like, oh,
- 26:55Speaker 3: pledge your support. But it's a sad video that's like,
- 26:58Speaker 3: it brings down the tone in the room. And so
- 27:00Speaker 3: that's where we rely on the comedian to then bring
- 27:01Speaker 3: the tone back up.
- 27:02Speaker 2: And so I saw I was number three. OK, so
- 27:05Speaker 2: it was like two people, sad video, two people. And
- 27:09Speaker 2: I don't know who the final person was, but it
- 27:12Speaker 2: was like another guy. And somehow I used the and
- 27:15Speaker 2: I placated the ego. And I'm like, I think it'd
- 27:18Speaker 2: be better if it was like the two girls and
- 27:21Speaker 2: then the two guys. Because I'm like, the guys are
- 27:24Speaker 2: stronger than us, you know? And so I think it
- 27:27Speaker 2: was Whitney who had to go first because she left.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Then me, sad video. And then Josh. And so when
- 27:32Speaker 2: I said to Josh, because he was supposed to be
- 27:33Speaker 2: number two, I go, oh, they want you to be
- 27:36Speaker 2: three because you're a stronger stand-up than me. He's like, no, no.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I go, no, just, I think it'll be better that
- 27:41Speaker 2: way that I follow Whitney. And then he realized and
- 27:45Speaker 2: he was like, he did it. And he's like, oh, thanks, Heather. Like, thanks.
- 27:52Speaker 2: It still was all great. He's a professional.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Brought it back.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Made something about it. But it's one of those things. Okay,
- 27:58Speaker 2: get back to Blake. So, okay, so the movie I
- 28:02Speaker 2: am excited for because I am a fan of the movie.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah, the movie, the trailer looked good. And I did, I, like,
- 28:07Speaker 3: posted it on Instagram. And I was like, I know
- 28:10Speaker 3: we don't like her right now, but, like, the movie
- 28:12Speaker 3: actually looks good. And then people were like mad, like, oh,
- 28:14Speaker 3: now you're turning. And I was like, no, it was
- 28:16Speaker 3: just a movie. But the wife, what's interesting about the wife, Laura,
- 28:20Speaker 3: Laura Fee.
- 28:20Speaker 2: The director's wife.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Director's wife. Is she's been in the comments defending Blake. She's, like, totally, yeah,
- 28:26Speaker 3: she's totally Nick Viall.
- 28:27Speaker 2: I mean, I can't blame it if that's, you know,
- 28:29Speaker 2: you got a movie coming out and you don't want
- 28:31Speaker 2: people to hate your star. Yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Well, my point being, she, in the comments, said that, like,
- 28:36Speaker 3: Blake has already been paid, so you're not going to
- 28:38Speaker 3: be hurting her by not watching the movie. And so... Interesting.
- 28:42Speaker 3: So I was like, well, then at least I know
- 28:43Speaker 3: she's not getting royalties and I feel a little bit better. But,
- 28:46Speaker 3: you know, she... It's been the biggest Blake defender, and
- 28:49Speaker 3: even the director came out and said that the rumors
- 28:52Speaker 3: about Blake and Anna not liking each other are completely false,
- 28:55Speaker 3: which I've heard. I don't know if you've heard anything,
- 28:57Speaker 3: but I've heard the complete opposite. I heard that both
- 28:58Speaker 3: Blake and Anna Kendrick, I heard that they're both not
- 29:02Speaker 3: easy to work with, and they absolutely do not like
- 29:04Speaker 3: each other.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 29:05Speaker 3: And they are just not. And that's why you don't
- 29:07Speaker 3: see a single photo of Blake and Anna together at
- 29:09Speaker 3: this premiere.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Well, I mean, the interviews from before were like the...
- 29:13Speaker 2: like a scale of one to ten awkward at a
- 29:16Speaker 2: ten yeah like of them of her being like okay
- 29:20Speaker 2: but in watching her then get on stage and talk
- 29:23Speaker 2: like yeah she is the same person that we've seen
- 29:26Speaker 2: in the videos of she does the word salad she
- 29:30Speaker 2: tries to be funny the audio you know she is
- 29:33Speaker 2: kind of charming but she is long-winded like a Dorit
- 29:36Speaker 2: yeah like I get it and I get why if
- 29:38Speaker 2: you worked with someone like that for you know, five months,
- 29:41Speaker 2: you'd be annoyed by her. But also, in her defense,
- 29:46Speaker 2: she didn't seem that different. on a red carpet saying
- 29:50Speaker 2: hi to people. She was, hi, oh, I like this.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I mean, I think sometimes those videos were picked apart
- 29:56Speaker 2: where someone gave her a bracelet, maybe it was the
- 29:58Speaker 2: Tamra friendship bracelet, and she was like, thank you so much.
- 30:01Speaker 2: It doesn't match my outfit, but thank you. And the
- 30:03Speaker 2: people were like, why wouldn't you put it on? I'm like, okay.
- 30:06Speaker 2: There's some nitpicking. I'm like, please, you're on a red carpet.
- 30:10Speaker 2: You're being gracious enough. Yeah. But, okay, what, since we've talked,
- 30:18Speaker 2: since it's been a minute, since, what else has gone
- 30:20Speaker 2: on legal-wise just catch us up with what's happening? Is
- 30:24Speaker 2: it still looking like March 26th? Do you think it'll
- 30:26Speaker 2: happen earlier, the trial?
- 30:28Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like every week it gets worse
- 30:30Speaker 3: and worse for her, legally. Because, like, so, obviously, I
- 30:34Speaker 3: think since I was last here, they did SNL, which
- 30:36Speaker 3: obviously was a bad look. And I know Bethany came
- 30:38Speaker 3: out and she's like, this was brilliant. And I was like,
- 30:40Speaker 3: this is stupid.
- 30:41Speaker 2: They went to the SNL thing and... Ryan did that joke.
- 30:45Speaker 3: He did a joke about it, yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Which then he wrote the joke.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Yeah, he wrote the joke and then the cue card
- 30:49Speaker 3: guy came out and was like, oh yeah, I get
- 30:50Speaker 3: a different joke and he changed it at the last
- 30:51Speaker 3: minute and then SNL was like, we don't know who
- 30:53Speaker 3: this cue card guy is. He doesn't, no, they said
- 30:56Speaker 3: he doesn't work in the creative department. He wasn't in
- 30:58Speaker 3: the meetings for writing the joke. I'm like, I believe
- 31:00Speaker 3: the crew people. Like, cue card Wally is not gonna
- 31:03Speaker 3: lie about seeing.
- 31:04Speaker 2: But also now, like, do you imagine, like, you're trying
- 31:06Speaker 2: to get a job as cue card guy and they're like,
- 31:09Speaker 2: we also need to sign that you won't do any podcasts.
- 31:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Ever and talk about the, I'm sure now they're like, oh,
- 31:16Speaker 2: I guess we never had the cue card guy like
- 31:18Speaker 2: sign the NDA. We've had everybody else do it, but yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 3: But so Bethany Frankel said that it was the smartest move.
- 31:24Speaker 3: They was brilliant. And I called it from the beginning.
- 31:27Speaker 3: I was like, this is going to be used against them.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I go, maybe it's brilliant PR wise because everyone's talking
- 31:30Speaker 3: about them and everyone's talking about it's now cute, whatever.
- 31:33Speaker 3: But like, this is going to be used against them legally.
- 31:35Speaker 3: And so it was brought up in court. that they're
- 31:37Speaker 3: not taking this seriously and she's doing red carpets.
- 31:40Speaker 2: You can't be now acting like, oh, isn't this funny
- 31:42Speaker 2: and ridiculous when you started it because you said you
- 31:46Speaker 2: were sexually harassed. If there was no sexual harassment to
- 31:50Speaker 2: it and this was just a lawsuit in, I think
- 31:53Speaker 2: that you did an internet smear campaign against me and
- 31:57Speaker 2: I'm going after you for that, then you At maybe
- 32:01Speaker 2: one point you can make life of the ridiculousness of it. Yeah.
- 32:04Speaker 2: But not when that is also part of your case. Right.
- 32:08Speaker 3: And it's connected to the movie, which is, you know,
- 32:10Speaker 3: about DV. Like, there's so many layers to it that
- 32:12Speaker 3: just make any sort of jokes about it inappropriate. So
- 32:15Speaker 3: it was brought up in court. Because right now what
- 32:17Speaker 3: she's trying to do, her team is fighting to— Blake's team.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Blake Lively's team is fighting to— They want a protective order,
- 32:24Speaker 3: but they want an attorney's eyes only protective order, which
- 32:26Speaker 3: means anything that gets brought up in discovery can only
- 32:29Speaker 3: be reviewed by the attorney. So they can't even share
- 32:32Speaker 3: that with like Justin, like none. And they're trying to say, oh, well,
- 32:35Speaker 3: it's because we have, you know, privileged information, like my
- 32:39Speaker 3: publicist client list that like can't get leaked. And that's
- 32:42Speaker 3: like you have a celebrity publicist and you don't want
- 32:44Speaker 3: her client list to get leaked.
- 32:44Speaker 2: And that's kind of saying like just because you have
- 32:47Speaker 2: famous friends, Taylor Swift, you They don't get special protective order. Correct.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Just like the president of the United States doesn't. So
- 32:53Speaker 2: it's like, you're not going to get it just because
- 32:55Speaker 2: you're a super famous person. If we say we want
- 32:57Speaker 2: to see the text messages between you and Taylor, you're
- 33:01Speaker 2: going to have to turn those over or we're going
- 33:03Speaker 2: to get them on our own through Mint Mobile.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Through Mint Mobile. But she's withdrawn. She's since withdrawn the subpoena.
- 33:10Speaker 3: So she's not, she doesn't want his phone records anymore.
- 33:13Speaker 3: And she's, I think.
- 33:14Speaker 2: So she's saying, I don't want your phone records, but
- 33:16Speaker 2: I don't want you to ask for mine. Correct.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Correct. That's kind of the latest. She's withdrawn those subpoenas.
- 33:20Speaker 3: So she's no longer or she may be amending it,
- 33:22Speaker 3: but she's withdrawn them because the judges basically said that
- 33:24Speaker 3: that was kind of ridiculous. But we had a hearing
- 33:26Speaker 3: last week that was not the strongest case from her side.
- 33:30Speaker 3: She has there like five attorneys representing her and then
- 33:32Speaker 3: Brian Friedman's representing everybody on the Wayfair side. But we'll
- 33:36Speaker 3: we'll have to see. The text messages from Taylor Swift
- 33:38Speaker 3: are probably going to end up coming. That's that may be.
- 33:41Speaker 3: And Bradley Cooper is probably also going to get dragged
- 33:43Speaker 3: into this, too. So there are a lot of famous
- 33:45Speaker 3: people that may get deposed or have text messages revealed.
- 33:49Speaker 3: And so I think if there's going to be a settlement,
- 33:52Speaker 3: those conversations are probably happening now so that that privileged
- 33:55Speaker 3: information doesn't get out. Because the judge doesn't seem like
- 33:58Speaker 3: he's protecting her celebrity friends.
- 33:59Speaker 2: So do you think Taylor is going to have to
- 34:01Speaker 2: be subpoenaed?
- 34:02Speaker 3: It's possible. It's not looking good. We have to wait
- 34:05Speaker 3: to hear what the judge says this week about the
- 34:07Speaker 3: protective order. But the judge didn't really seem to be
- 34:10Speaker 3: entertained by this celebrity argument. He's kind of just like,
- 34:13Speaker 3: listen— if you're going to trial, this is all going
- 34:16Speaker 3: to come out in trial anyway, whether you want to
- 34:18Speaker 3: prevent it from coming out now or next March, like
- 34:20Speaker 3: it's coming.
- 34:21Speaker 2: And so I did get a lot of comments because
- 34:24Speaker 2: Nick was very team, um, Blake and Ryan. Um, and
- 34:28Speaker 2: he was on my show on Thursday, Nick Vial. And, um,
- 34:33Speaker 2: what are your thoughts about the show about our conversation
- 34:38Speaker 2: about it?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Um, I thought you did a good job. I listen,
- 34:42Speaker 3: he's not that he doesn't, you know, think that hard
- 34:45Speaker 3: about things. But he has 15 podcast co-hosts that do
- 34:48Speaker 3: that for him. But like, he clearly has not read
- 34:50Speaker 3: these court documents as he told you. He just, it's
- 34:53Speaker 3: obvious that he is not. It's obvious that he, even
- 34:55Speaker 3: if you put, like, let's just focus on the sexual
- 34:57Speaker 3: harassment because that's like the really serious stuff. One, she's
- 35:00Speaker 3: presented zero evidence to support that. And if anything, evidence
- 35:04Speaker 3: that has come out has debunked some of her claims already.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Like the clearest one that shot her credibility was when
- 35:09Speaker 3: she said that, you know, the producers showed her porn
- 35:12Speaker 3: and his naked wife And then we find out that
- 35:15Speaker 3: it was his wife's home birth video and you don't
- 35:17Speaker 3: even see anything. She's holding the baby in her arms
- 35:19Speaker 3: and he's, you know, they have the newborn baby and
- 35:22Speaker 3: she had just given birth. So yeah, technically she's naked,
- 35:25Speaker 3: but you don't see any parts. And she described that
- 35:27Speaker 3: in her lawsuit as a pornographic image of the wife
- 35:30Speaker 3: that was shown to her, which to me is just
- 35:32Speaker 3: like ridiculous, you know? And so. or when she said
- 35:35Speaker 3: that he smelled her and said that she smelled so good.
- 35:37Speaker 3: And then we saw the raw footage and the raw
- 35:39Speaker 3: footage didn't play out that way. She's like, oh, my
- 35:42Speaker 3: spray tan smells, which you've had spray tans. They have
- 35:44Speaker 3: a very distinct smell and you're insecure about it. So
- 35:47Speaker 3: she's like, oh, my spray tan smells, sorry. And he's like, oh,
- 35:49Speaker 3: don't worry. It smells fine. Or it smells good. And
- 35:52Speaker 3: she's like, oh, that's just my body makeup. And it's
- 35:54Speaker 3: like these things that clearly show that what she's describing
- 35:58Speaker 3: and what is being shown in like footage and photos
- 36:02Speaker 3: are very objective evidence. That's not somebody's opinion. Like you
- 36:05Speaker 3: can see that and it's very clear. So when you
- 36:07Speaker 3: have a number of these things that are shooting the credibility,
- 36:09Speaker 3: it's just it's not looking good for her. So, Nick,
- 36:13Speaker 3: I wish I would love to have a conversation with Nick.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I know he would never have a conversation with me
- 36:17Speaker 3: about this. I would even do it here on Juicy
- 36:20Speaker 3: Scoop for you, Heather. Neutral territory. You could be the
- 36:22Speaker 3: Andy Cohen.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Well, I didn't really notice until Dave Neal, who like
- 36:25Speaker 2: analyzed it. was saying how, you know, cause I, I left,
- 36:30Speaker 2: I like Nick as a person.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:32Speaker 2: So I left and I liked that we were on
- 36:34Speaker 2: opposite sides and I didn't find him to, some people
- 36:39Speaker 2: felt he was like, they felt he was being disrespectful
- 36:42Speaker 2: to me or trying to manipulate my opinion. Or he's like,
- 36:45Speaker 2: what's the evidence? What's the evidence? And I kept giving
- 36:47Speaker 2: him evidence just off the top of my head. Not
- 36:49Speaker 2: like I'm a lawyer, but, um, It still didn't bother me.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I still thought it was, like, done with respect, and
- 36:56Speaker 2: I still thought it was interesting. But, I mean, the
- 36:59Speaker 2: amount of comments I got on YouTube, I have to say,
- 37:02Speaker 2: made me wonder slightly. Though I pretty much have the
- 37:05Speaker 2: same amount of people watching every episode, so I believe
- 37:08Speaker 2: they're real juicy scoopers. I'm not saying they're bots. But
- 37:11Speaker 2: if I was to think that, I would go, well,
- 37:14Speaker 2: maybe Justin's people really are. Because the only other time
- 37:18Speaker 2: I got a lot was when I had Coco Moco on.
- 37:21Speaker 2: about two months ago, and at that time she was,
- 37:24Speaker 2: I don't know where she is now with it, but
- 37:25Speaker 2: at that time she was still very team Blake. And
- 37:29Speaker 2: those are the only times I've gotten like, and not
- 37:32Speaker 2: towards me, like not mean towards me, which makes me
- 37:35Speaker 2: think I do believe they are my real listeners and
- 37:37Speaker 2: watchers that are just, were not happy with the, what
- 37:40Speaker 2: was feeling like, you know, they don't agree with his opinion,
- 37:43Speaker 2: which they have every right to comment. But that is
- 37:46Speaker 2: sort of interesting.
- 37:46Speaker 3: I was like, hmm. The thing with Nick is he,
- 37:49Speaker 3: and I'm sure he's a nice dude personally. I've never
- 37:51Speaker 3: met him. But I just think there's, he's so pompous
- 37:53Speaker 3: and arrogant when he throws down his statements. And it's like, well,
- 37:56Speaker 3: if you want the evidence, I'm like, where's your evidence
- 37:58Speaker 3: to support anything? I get it. You like Ryan Reynolds.
- 38:01Speaker 2: But his evidence was too that he got a bad vibe.
- 38:06Speaker 3: That's my point. So that's not hard evidence. He's like, oh, well,
- 38:10Speaker 3: I met Justin Baldoni one time, and he meditated in
- 38:13Speaker 3: front of us, and I just got bad juju from that.
- 38:15Speaker 3: And I'm like, well, that's hardly groundbreaking. But thank you
- 38:18Speaker 3: for that hard-hitting evidence. But so I just think with
- 38:23Speaker 3: this case specifically, because it's become so popular, and I
- 38:27Speaker 3: think people see that just... The more we really analyze this,
- 38:30Speaker 3: the more we see Justin Baldoni really seems to be
- 38:33Speaker 3: the underdog in all of this. And so I just
- 38:35Speaker 3: think people... wanting to root for him and they've become
- 38:38Speaker 3: so enraged and I think a lot of it too
- 38:40Speaker 3: is it's like there are people that understand harassment in
- 38:42Speaker 3: the workplace and they don't feel like anything that she's
- 38:45Speaker 3: described reflects that and I think it kind of like
- 38:48Speaker 3: hurts people that have experienced that.
- 38:51Speaker 2: I think it was interesting too that Nick said he's
- 38:55Speaker 2: got this billionaire he has more money to go after
- 38:58Speaker 2: this and And I'm like, but again, he didn't go
- 39:01Speaker 2: after it.
- 39:02Speaker 3: Yeah, he didn't start this.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Yeah. And, you know, and then I read like in
- 39:06Speaker 2: the end, if he was really to prevail, they would
- 39:10Speaker 2: be like broke because people analyze how much he's made
- 39:15Speaker 2: off these movies, whatever. I disagree with that. Yeah. I
- 39:18Speaker 2: think they're going to be, everyone's going to be fine
- 39:20Speaker 2: in the end. But anyway, so.
- 39:22Speaker 3: I just haven't heard one like really good critical argument
- 39:27Speaker 3: that's pro-Blake that's not just about like feelings over facts
- 39:31Speaker 3: right or like I why would she do this if
- 39:34Speaker 3: you know well she was trying to save her I
- 39:36Speaker 3: don't think she ever thought it would get this far
- 39:38Speaker 3: and then did you see the article that came out
- 39:39Speaker 3: last week about Baldoni I think it was in the
- 39:41Speaker 3: LA Times they did this whole piece on him and
- 39:44Speaker 3: only to find out the biggest the juiciest piece of
- 39:47Speaker 3: this like expose that they did on him was that
- 39:49Speaker 3: One of the former employees that used to work for
- 39:51Speaker 3: him says that his work environment was toxic positivity. Like,
- 39:55Speaker 3: that's the worst that they've dug up on this dude.
- 39:57Speaker 3: And they've been coming after him for months at this point.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I remember when I was at Chelsea lately, on the
- 40:04Speaker 2: third floor was Ross Matthews' talk show that lasted like
- 40:08Speaker 2: a year or something. And we were on the fourth floor.
- 40:10Speaker 2: And they said, people were like, do you know what's
- 40:14Speaker 2: going on on the third floor? I'm like, what? They're like,
- 40:16Speaker 2: Ross meets with his group. And it's like, everybody, we're
- 40:20Speaker 2: just going to do an emotional check-in or whatever, and
- 40:22Speaker 2: everybody has to say something positive about somebody. And it
- 40:25Speaker 2: was the complete opposite of what was going on on
- 40:28Speaker 2: the fourth floor, though we had a lot of fun.
- 40:31Speaker 2: It was a different mindset. And I'm like, oh, so
- 40:34Speaker 2: now toxic positivity can be a negative thing? Like, you
- 40:38Speaker 2: just can't win. But do you think that Taylor and
- 40:42Speaker 2: Lance– Lance, sorry. Taylor and Blake will– continue their friendship
- 40:48Speaker 2: or is it she's completely ghosting.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Her no I mean come on if one of your
- 40:52Speaker 3: friends called you a dragon and said they were the
- 40:54Speaker 3: Khaleesi like I would be if I were Taylor Swift
- 40:56Speaker 3: I would be pissed I'd be like I'm never talking
- 40:58Speaker 3: to you again back in.
- 40:59Speaker 2: The day people used to go this was like years
- 41:02Speaker 2: ago there was a Mary Tyler Moore and it was
- 41:05Speaker 2: Mary Tyler Moore had a best friend named Rhoda so
- 41:07Speaker 2: people would be like I'm the Mary and I'm the
- 41:09Speaker 2: Rhoda no You know, no, no, no, I'm the Mary,
- 41:12Speaker 2: you're the Rhoda, or I'm the Lucy, you're the Ethel. No. Like,
- 41:15Speaker 2: I'm the, and that's the way, it's the same thing, like,
- 41:18Speaker 2: wait a minute. Yeah. Like, you are not, you are not.
- 41:21Speaker 3: But it's very obvious who the Lucy is here.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not the mean girl, and we're the, yeah.
- 41:25Speaker 3: No, it's very obvious who the bigger celebrity is, and
- 41:27Speaker 3: that would be Taylor Swift. She's not a dragon. She, well,
- 41:30Speaker 3: I don't even know if I would call her Khaleesi,
- 41:31Speaker 3: because doesn't Khaleesi die?
- 41:33Speaker 2: But he, um.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Like, she doesn't make it.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Yeah. But also, it's like, Taylor, Taylor Swift. She did
- 41:39Speaker 2: that whole squad. And she has a weird relationship with girls.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:44Speaker 2: She, you know, the story I once heard about Taylor,
- 41:48Speaker 2: which I kind of loved. But, you know, she was
- 41:51Speaker 2: this girl that I think was perceived as a geek
- 41:54Speaker 2: in high school. But had this enormous talent. And because
- 41:58Speaker 2: she had confidence and talent to play instruments and her
- 42:01Speaker 2: mom was supporting that, the girls were like, who does this?
- 42:05Speaker 2: Geek thinks she is thinking she's going to be the
- 42:08Speaker 2: next singer. And they were extremely cruel. So then she
- 42:12Speaker 2: becomes a star. And the story goes, the legend goes
- 42:17Speaker 2: that at one time she invites like the whole, invites
- 42:21Speaker 2: them all to a show or something. Only to like
- 42:26Speaker 2: show them like, fuck you. Something like that. You know,
- 42:29Speaker 2: straight with I'm in the bleachers and now she's the
- 42:32Speaker 2: quarterback's girlfriend. Like or whatever he is. So I think
- 42:37Speaker 2: in collecting these popular friends, what happens to someone in
- 42:43Speaker 2: high school can affect you so much for the rest
- 42:50Speaker 2: of your life, whether you were the most popular or
- 42:53Speaker 2: maybe you were in the middle of the road but
- 42:54Speaker 2: you had one fucked up friendship thing. For me, I
- 42:58Speaker 2: have stuff from high school that haunts me to this day.
- 43:00Speaker 2: And it really shapes and you carry that forever yeah
- 43:06Speaker 2: which you know can make you a more successful person
- 43:10Speaker 2: or can really fuck you up forever so it's like
- 43:12Speaker 2: yeah i think that then she collected all these popular
- 43:14Speaker 2: my squad and this and that i think blake was
- 43:17Speaker 2: one of the cool girls that she collected that she's
- 43:19Speaker 2: easily like to.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Yeah replace bring back gg hadid yeah who cares swap
- 43:25Speaker 3: her out yeah nobody's gonna notice.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Yeah yeah i'll find some other cool chick so all
- 43:31Speaker 2: right we'll see done Meghan Markle had her show debut.
- 43:37Speaker 2: It's on Netflix. I think there's like.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Meghan Sussex.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Meghan Sussex, right. Oh, like Mindy Kaling in the show.
- 43:45Speaker 2: So it is a cooking, gardening, crafting show. It's on Netflix.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I watched two full episodes. There's like eight or something.
- 43:55Speaker 2: She announced it got a second season. However, I read
- 43:59Speaker 2: that They already filmed the second season, which they often
- 44:02Speaker 2: do in these shows to be budget friendly. And they
- 44:05Speaker 2: film it not at her house, down the street at
- 44:08Speaker 2: a similar type Montecito house, which I don't blame her
- 44:10Speaker 2: for that either. Why would you have cameras and everything
- 44:13Speaker 2: if someone's like, we can do it down the street?
- 44:16Speaker 2: But they have her barefoot. They have her sitting on
- 44:19Speaker 2: the ground sometimes. It's supposed to be this imperfect stuff.
- 44:23Speaker 2: And she's getting a lot of hate for it. About
- 44:29Speaker 2: her lack of being authentic. And I was a Meghan
- 44:34Speaker 2: Markle fan in the beginning. I didn't understand the hate.
- 44:38Speaker 2: And I was like, I felt a kingship with her.
- 44:41Speaker 2: She went to an all-girl Catholic high school in L.A.
- 44:43Speaker 2: She went to a good university, you know, grew up
- 44:47Speaker 2: in L.A. Dad was in the business. And I was
- 44:51Speaker 2: just like, God, what is this? Like when she was
- 44:54Speaker 2: getting married. Yeah. But since then, I understand the hate.
- 44:57Speaker 2: I'm going to explain what the hate is. The hate
- 45:00Speaker 2: is coming from women because they don't believe that she
- 45:05Speaker 2: deserves these opportunities now. I think she can act. I
- 45:11Speaker 2: think she can learn lines. I think she was good
- 45:13Speaker 2: on Suits. I think she could act again. I think
- 45:16Speaker 2: she was a bad podcaster. And I think people were like,
- 45:19Speaker 2: why did she get this big podcast that she dialed
- 45:22Speaker 2: in and sucked at? And there are so many other
- 45:24Speaker 2: women that do this on YouTube or do it at
- 45:27Speaker 2: home that know how to cook and do creative things.
- 45:31Speaker 2: And basically she's doing that, acting like she's authentic when
- 45:35Speaker 2: she's not. And that's what angers them is that the
- 45:39Speaker 2: show is boring and she's boring and she doesn't deserve
- 45:42Speaker 2: this opportunity. But I would say in defense of her,
- 45:47Speaker 2: Of course she's going to take this opportunity. And this
- 45:49Speaker 2: is an easy-ass show to do. This is easier than
- 45:52Speaker 2: her traveling through different countries and trying food like Bourdain.
- 45:57Speaker 2: This is easier than learning medical dialogue to be an
- 46:01Speaker 2: actress in a multi-cam thing where you have to be
- 46:03Speaker 2: there for 12 hours. You literally walk down the street.
- 46:06Speaker 2: You're in charge of your own thing. You have some
- 46:09Speaker 2: cute friends come on. It's a fucking easy job. Yeah,
- 46:13Speaker 2: it's an easy job. And they gave her 100 million
- 46:16Speaker 2: dollars and she chose an easy way to make that
- 46:17Speaker 2: 100 million. And that is what people are angry about.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:22Speaker 3: I mean, I don't I don't blame you. I also
- 46:23Speaker 3: just think. It's the way she tries to be relatable
- 46:27Speaker 3: and she's just so not relatable that to me, like,
- 46:30Speaker 3: makes me roll my eyes. I mean, I do agree
- 46:32Speaker 3: with you. Like, you know, there are people that, you know,
- 46:35Speaker 3: work really hard to build what they have. And then
- 46:36Speaker 3: there are people like Meghan Markle or Nick Viall who
- 46:39Speaker 3: kind of just capitalize off of what their agent secures them,
- 46:42Speaker 3: like a hundred million dollar Netflix deal. But her show
- 46:45Speaker 3: is so boring and out of touch when she's just like,
- 46:48Speaker 3: but what it is, it's like, like Gwyneth Paltrow, right?
- 46:50Speaker 3: She got a lot of hate. But she owns it.
- 46:52Speaker 3: She's like, I'm not like you peasants. Like, I'm a
- 46:54Speaker 3: rich bitch, and I don't.
- 46:55Speaker 2: I've never made soup out of a can in my life.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Yeah, and I have a JDAG up my hoo-ha, and
- 47:00Speaker 3: I'm gonna rock it, right? Whereas Meghan Markle's like, oh,
- 47:03Speaker 3: I'm wearing Zara pants. And then you see that she's
- 47:06Speaker 3: wearing $ 50 Zara pants with a $ 1, 500 cashmere sweater on
- 47:09Speaker 3: top of that, that I'm just like.
- 47:10Speaker 2: While you're cooking.
- 47:11Speaker 3: While you're cooking in all white nudes. Remember when she
- 47:14Speaker 3: was in the royal family, and she was just like, oh,
- 47:16Speaker 3: I only wore nude colors because I didn't want to, like...
- 47:18Speaker 3: overshadow the queen and wear purple because the queen likes
- 47:21Speaker 3: purple or whatever. So to me, it's like all of
- 47:23Speaker 3: the inconsistencies in her story and her just like, I'm
- 47:26Speaker 3: Jenny from the block. And it's like, you're not Jenny
- 47:28Speaker 3: from the block. You're Jennifer Lopez.
- 47:30Speaker 2: And Jenny's not Jenny from the block. Jennifer Lopez, she,
- 47:33Speaker 2: Hilaria Baldwin, and Blake. Yeah. They should get together and
- 47:40Speaker 2: have a boring off.
- 47:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:42Speaker 2: And see who could be more inauthentic or more, I
- 47:45Speaker 2: don't know. I want to take J-Lo out of it, honestly,
- 47:47Speaker 2: because I do think she could be more interesting. But
- 47:50Speaker 2: I think Blake, Kalaria and and Megan are very similar
- 47:56Speaker 2: in that they realize what's happening right now in media
- 48:01Speaker 2: and that's being authentic. And they're not.
- 48:03Speaker 4: No.
- 48:04Speaker 2: And so they go these other like, you know, cheating
- 48:09Speaker 2: ways to try to be authentic. Barefoot to talk about, oh,
- 48:12Speaker 2: I'm actually not going to make the pretzels. I'm going
- 48:15Speaker 2: to put it in another bag. First of all, I've
- 48:17Speaker 2: had people. I just had a girlfriend come over to
- 48:19Speaker 2: my house because I bought a new house. And she
- 48:21Speaker 2: was so sweet. And she did make a beautiful basket
- 48:23Speaker 2: for me. And she's also hosted a party for me
- 48:27Speaker 2: after one of my stand-up shows. And she does know
- 48:30Speaker 2: how to do this shit. And I don't. So I
- 48:33Speaker 2: appreciate people that like to do all that cute shit.
- 48:36Speaker 2: I don't even know where you buy bags that are
- 48:38Speaker 2: not Ziploc. I have no idea. Okay, whatever, I'm not
- 48:42Speaker 2: doing it.
- 48:43Speaker 3: I'm not buying burlap, but.
- 48:45Speaker 2: I get it and I think it's cute. And when
- 48:47Speaker 2: people have done it for me, I do truly appreciate it.
- 48:51Speaker 2: But was I bored by the shows?
- 48:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 48:53Speaker 2: But then I was like weirdly fascinated because I was like,
- 48:56Speaker 2: oh my God. So then she has a bee maker,
- 48:58Speaker 2: Brandon the Bee Man.
- 48:59Speaker 3: Oh God, the Bee Man.
- 49:00Speaker 2: And she's like, I have found bees. And then she's like,
- 49:02Speaker 2: how long does a bee live for? And they're like,
- 49:05Speaker 2: four weeks. I'm like, well, then you're not a beekeeper
- 49:07Speaker 2: because wouldn't you know?
- 49:08Speaker 3: She also won't touch the fucking bees.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Yeah. And then I'm like, first of all, watching that,
- 49:12Speaker 2: I'm like, honey should be $ 85 a jar. Like I
- 49:16Speaker 2: had no idea how fucking hard it is to make honey.
- 49:18Speaker 2: This should be a lot more expensive. A lot more expensive.
- 49:21Speaker 2: So the honey, she puts the pretzels, you know, and
- 49:23Speaker 2: then she's like, and Daniel, my kids call him Uncle Daniel. No,
- 49:27Speaker 2: they don't. No. They've never met Daniel.
- 49:28Speaker 3: They don't know him.
- 49:29Speaker 2: You're a gay makeup artist, but you're trying to act like, oh,
- 49:31Speaker 2: they call him Uncle Daniel. And I'm like, and then
- 49:33Speaker 2: she's like, and I don't know if he's gluten-free or not,
- 49:36Speaker 2: or I don't know if he has a net agile.
- 49:37Speaker 2: I thought he spent the night at your house. Well, no.
- 49:39Speaker 2: How would you not know that?
- 49:40Speaker 3: What I love about that is she's like, I'm putting
- 49:42Speaker 3: together peanut butter pretzels because Daniel's favorite snack is peanut butter.
- 49:45Speaker 3: But let me put it in a new bag and
- 49:47Speaker 3: then write peanut butter on it just in case he
- 49:49Speaker 3: has a nut allergy. And I was like, you just
- 49:51Speaker 3: said peanut butter is his favorite snack.
- 49:53Speaker 2: And then I thought there were all these hints to
- 49:56Speaker 2: combat the rumors that she treats staff horribly. Like, oh,
- 50:01Speaker 2: remember when you didn't even have an agent and you
- 50:03Speaker 2: had to find your own makeup artist and you were
- 50:05Speaker 2: so loving towards me?
- 50:06Speaker 4: Yes.
- 50:07Speaker 2: And then when she's like, Hey, guys. Oh, we're breaking
- 50:10Speaker 2: the fourth wall. Try a berry. I'm giving you, little
- 50:13Speaker 2: peasant cameraman, a berry. Also, in this article or one
- 50:17Speaker 2: of the things I read, the staff is 80 people.
- 50:19Speaker 2: 80 people on this crew to make a rainbow of fruit.
- 50:25Speaker 2: And they contacted the woman who originated the rainbow of
- 50:28Speaker 2: fruit platter. And she knows what to be smart about.
- 50:33Speaker 2: She's like, yeah, maybe it was originally my idea. Maybe
- 50:36Speaker 2: it wasn't. It's out there. Who cares? She was classy
- 50:39Speaker 2: about it, which is a smart thing to do. Because
- 50:40Speaker 2: she's probably like, I don't know. Maybe she'll bring me on.
- 50:43Speaker 2: I'm not going to fucking bash her. So there's all
- 50:46Speaker 2: of that. And then these two girlfriends come on. One
- 50:50Speaker 2: is an actress, and the other one is some other
- 50:52Speaker 2: girl who's pretty. And she's like, we've been through so much.
- 50:55Speaker 2: We've been through so much. What have you been through? Like,
- 50:57Speaker 2: give us some juice.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Not, oh, remember when we were in New Orleans and,
- 51:02Speaker 2: you know, Tamara ran out of the show? No, there
- 51:04Speaker 2: was no juice.
- 51:05Speaker 3: There's nothing.
- 51:06Speaker 2: And so she's doing that. And then they have their
- 51:08Speaker 2: tea party. With Mindy Kaling, I think they met on
- 51:14Speaker 2: her podcast. They probably have the same agent. Mindy was like,
- 51:18Speaker 2: fuck yeah, I want to go to Montecito and see this.
- 51:20Speaker 2: And then she puts this weird position where she's like,
- 51:24Speaker 2: my mom loved Taco Bell. And she's like, I don't
- 51:27Speaker 2: think people realize that Meghan Markle likes Jack in a
- 51:30Speaker 2: Box or whatever it is. And first of all, before
- 51:33Speaker 2: she corrected her on the name, you lived in L.A.,
- 51:37Speaker 2: We've all had Jack in the Box and Taco Bell.
- 51:39Speaker 2: You're 40-whatever, three years old. That's not weird. It would
- 51:44Speaker 2: be different if maybe Prince Harry said, I love Jack
- 51:48Speaker 2: in the Box. I grew up eating Jack in the
- 51:49Speaker 2: Box when I was in the— and I hid it from
- 51:53Speaker 2: the king.
- 51:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Okay, that's kind of unusual when you have, like, a
- 51:55Speaker 2: full-time chef. No. And then she's like, it's so funny
- 52:01Speaker 2: that you say Markle when my name is Sussex. And
- 52:04Speaker 2: then she's like, it's my little family at Sussex because
- 52:06Speaker 2: we all share the same name, which, by the way.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Not true.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Mindy Kaling is, you know, an out single mother. Yeah.
- 52:15Speaker 2: We don't know who the father of her kids are,
- 52:17Speaker 2: but whatever. She doesn't have a she doesn't say that
- 52:20Speaker 2: there is a present father. OK, which is great. And
- 52:24Speaker 2: her choice. I love it. But I thought that was
- 52:27Speaker 2: a little rude. Yeah. to be like, this is our
- 52:30Speaker 2: name and this is our little family. Like if I,
- 52:33Speaker 2: I would never say that to my friends who are
- 52:36Speaker 2: single moms. Something about it was like a little insensitive
- 52:40Speaker 2: of who you're talking to.
- 52:41Speaker 3: I think it's because she doesn't even really know Mindy's story.
- 52:43Speaker 3: She probably doesn't even know that there's no dad in
- 52:45Speaker 3: the picture. Like it's so, and that's when she referenced
- 52:49Speaker 3: her $ 50 Zara pants with her $ 1, 500 cashmere.
- 52:51Speaker 2: And I feel like they asked Mindy to ask that.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Like just make sure that you know that she's down
- 52:56Speaker 2: to earth.
- 52:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:57Speaker 2: And she gives us a berry sometimes. And sometimes I,
- 53:01Speaker 2: you know, I get a bite of the omelet.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Which was so stupid that that scene, how they
- 53:06Speaker 3: opened every episode, she's just like, oh, Mindy's on her way.
- 53:08Speaker 3: Let me make her a quick omelet. I hope I
- 53:11Speaker 3: have eggs. And then she opens the first thing. Oh,
- 53:13Speaker 3: thank God I have eggs. And then she.
- 53:15Speaker 2: But also you have chickens, right? Like you have the
- 53:19Speaker 2: chickens and you have the eggs. And how many eggs
- 53:21Speaker 2: it is. And yeah, just something I like to do.
- 53:23Speaker 2: And I was like, well, and nobody wants dried flowers
- 53:25Speaker 2: on everything. But then someone said that's one of her products.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Where's her products?
- 53:30Speaker 2: No, it's going to be a dried flower thing. Just
- 53:32Speaker 2: like you would sprinkle red pepper. Who's buying that?
- 53:37Speaker 3: Not me.
- 53:38Speaker 2: I think it looks like crap. I don't want dried
- 53:40Speaker 2: flowers on my food. So I was watching it. I
- 53:44Speaker 2: have a lot of guilt as being a working mom.
- 53:46Speaker 2: And I'm watching it with Peter, my husband, and I go,
- 53:48Speaker 2: I don't know, this sort of makes me sad that
- 53:52Speaker 2: I didn't make sandwiches with the crust cut and into
- 53:56Speaker 2: stars and Stuff like that. People are like, why did
- 53:59Speaker 2: you ask your two sons? I mean, neither of them
- 54:01Speaker 2: give a shit. And I'm like, oh, my God, you're
- 54:03Speaker 2: probably right. How would I? And then someone's like, you
- 54:06Speaker 2: can't do this when there's actually two kids.
- 54:08Speaker 3: Crawling on you.
- 54:10Speaker 2: You can't do all these cute things. And she's like,
- 54:14Speaker 2: I just think it's really great that– My kids get
- 54:19Speaker 2: to see their mom working. They don't get to see
- 54:22Speaker 2: you working because you go next door and do it.
- 54:25Speaker 2: And then you're back. And then so then she goes
- 54:28Speaker 2: on Drew Barrymore, which was two worlds collide. And Drew's like,
- 54:33Speaker 2: I want to talk about because whenever anybody knows you
- 54:38Speaker 2: and Harry, they say you guys are so hot for
- 54:41Speaker 2: each other. And I love that because I have not
- 54:44Speaker 2: had sex in nine years. I've not been on a
- 54:46Speaker 2: date like you always talk about. Yeah.
- 54:48Speaker 3: So then.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Megan goes, well, you know, we're both so crazy busy.
- 54:55Speaker 2: We're so crazy busy. And between getting up at 630
- 54:59Speaker 2: before my kids wake up, every mom does, and making
- 55:02Speaker 2: them breakfast, every mom does, and getting them off to school.
- 55:05Speaker 2: And then the two of us are just doing crazy
- 55:08Speaker 2: meetings and calls. But every day we meet for lunch
- 55:13Speaker 2: just to have a connect. And every day, H and
- 55:16Speaker 2: I have lunch together. And I'm like, first of all,
- 55:20Speaker 2: I hate that she calls him H. I hate it.
- 55:23Speaker 2: And so I was like, I don't know, it really
- 55:26Speaker 2: bothered me. And I'm like, I don't know if it's
- 55:29Speaker 2: because his mom named him Harry and she's gone and
- 55:34Speaker 2: nobody ever called him H and she just calls him H.
- 55:37Speaker 2: It's one thing to maybe call him H in the house,
- 55:38Speaker 2: but you're on a talk show. Why wouldn't you just
- 55:41Speaker 2: call him Harry? But I get it. They have their thing.
- 55:44Speaker 2: So I was talking to my son, Drake, who's 22.
- 55:47Speaker 2: And I was telling him why it's bothered me. And
- 55:50Speaker 2: I go, if you had a girlfriend and she just
- 55:52Speaker 2: started calling you D. No one's ever called you D.
- 55:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Would that bother you? And he goes, no. And he goes,
- 56:01Speaker 2: but if my girlfriend started calling me drakey poo, I
- 56:03Speaker 2: think that'd be weird because that's what I call it.
- 56:06Speaker 2: And I go, all right, maybe you're right. Maybe it's
- 56:08Speaker 2: not that weird. So I'm saying maybe I can, just
- 56:11Speaker 2: like Dave Neal said, I can see both sides.
- 56:13Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Maybe that's not that weird that she's named him H.
- 56:18Speaker 2: But I think it's weird. And to the point where
- 56:19Speaker 2: then Drew brings her a photo of when Drew met
- 56:26Speaker 2: Princess Diana and she's holding the stuffed animal or something,
- 56:29Speaker 2: giving it to Diana. And it's a black and white
- 56:32Speaker 2: photo and it's cute. And they're like cooking or something.
- 56:35Speaker 2: And she's like, I just want to show you. She's
- 56:36Speaker 2: so excited. Drew's like, I'm so excited to show you
- 56:39Speaker 2: this photo of me and Princess Diana. And she's like.
- 56:42Speaker 2: You could tell. She was like, oh, look at your
- 56:45Speaker 2: little face. Not, oh, look how beautiful she was. You
- 56:48Speaker 2: know what? She loved meeting all children. I know you
- 56:51Speaker 2: were a star, but she was just as lovely when
- 56:54Speaker 2: she went to villages. And I love that you have
- 56:57Speaker 2: this photo. Something like that. It was like, oh, look
- 56:59Speaker 2: how cute your little face is. Yeah, I'll have to
- 57:01Speaker 2: share that with H. And it was just like moving on.
- 57:05Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, my God. And then my
- 57:08Speaker 2: other thing in the Drew Barrymore show that drove me
- 57:09Speaker 2: crazy is she goes, you know, When I was in college,
- 57:14Speaker 2: I was a part-time nanny for two Irish Catholic families.
- 57:18Speaker 2: And one of the dads said to me, you know what, Meg,
- 57:21Speaker 2: when you meet your husband, I hope that he remembers
- 57:26Speaker 2: to date you throughout your marriage because that's what I
- 57:28Speaker 2: do with my wife. made-up story for a few reasons,
- 57:33Speaker 2: is what I'm gonna say. As an Irish Catholic person,
- 57:36Speaker 2: I like it, I don't like it that the Irish
- 57:38Speaker 2: Catholic dad was talking to his 20-year-old nanny about who
- 57:40Speaker 2: she might marry. That's fucking weird, and I don't believe
- 57:44Speaker 2: the story. And I believe it was a diss to
- 57:47Speaker 2: her own dad because she had a dad raising her
- 57:51Speaker 2: all through Immaculate Heart, doing all the sets for the plays,
- 57:55Speaker 2: paying for Northwestern, And, you know, granted, her parents weren't together,
- 58:00Speaker 2: but that's just a weird thing. And so I think
- 58:02Speaker 2: she heard the story of Date Your Wife and wanted
- 58:06Speaker 2: to put it in a context and an origin. Like,
- 58:09Speaker 2: while I was a working college student, I had other
- 58:13Speaker 2: father figures that said this to me. I don't believe
- 58:16Speaker 2: that story. And Drew was like. I don't think she
- 58:18Speaker 2: believed it either.
- 58:19Speaker 3: No, and I think there's a lot of those stories
- 58:22Speaker 3: that she gives. Well, I heard that the reason she
- 58:24Speaker 3: calls him H is because when she first started dating him,
- 58:27Speaker 3: it was something to do with his anonymity, and that
- 58:29Speaker 3: would be his secret... secret name is H so that
- 58:33Speaker 3: nobody knew he was Prince Harry.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Well, now, you know what? That kind of makes more
- 58:37Speaker 2: sense now. I'm going to give her the break on
- 58:41Speaker 2: the H thing.
- 58:41Speaker 3: No, but it's one thing to call him H privately,
- 58:43Speaker 3: but when you're publicly doing interviews, that's what's annoying. That's
- 58:46Speaker 3: what I'm saying, yeah. It's like nobody knows him as H.
- 58:48Speaker 3: He's Prince Harry, or you can call him by his
- 58:50Speaker 3: name out of respect for your husband when you're speaking
- 58:53Speaker 3: about him publicly.
- 58:54Speaker 2: And the woman who named him. Yeah. And, yes.
- 58:59Speaker 5: Yes.
- 59:00Speaker 2: So I also heard in a weird interview, and don't
- 59:02Speaker 2: know if this is true, that when they were dating,
- 59:05Speaker 2: now she, said, I never even heard of the Royals, whatever.
- 59:08Speaker 2: But then college students said, oh, she had all the
- 59:11Speaker 2: books and loved the stories of Diana, which many of
- 59:14Speaker 2: us did. We all loved Diana growing up. And that
- 59:17Speaker 2: she wore her perfume on the first date, the perfume
- 59:21Speaker 2: that she would always wear.
- 59:22Speaker 3: I think I heard this too.
- 59:23Speaker 2: But then when I was reading the comments, no one
- 59:24Speaker 2: knew the perfume. So I'm like, this could be a
- 59:26Speaker 2: BS story. If we What is the perfume? Is it,
- 59:30Speaker 2: you know, Caroline Herrera? What is it? Like, I don't know.
- 59:33Speaker 2: So that's kind of interesting. And and so good for
- 59:40Speaker 2: her for getting another show. I'm thinking if they've already
- 59:43Speaker 2: filmed next season, it probably won't be a change. But
- 59:45Speaker 2: if they hadn't, I would be like, change it up, have.
- 59:50Speaker 2: someone bring in their favorite recipe and you try to
- 59:52Speaker 2: make it or whatever. But she's such a control freak
- 59:56Speaker 2: that I don't think that that would really work. And
- 59:58Speaker 2: I think that she is very, like the other thing
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: that I think is that she talks to everybody like they're,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: like she should be a preschool teacher. She talks to
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: everybody like they're a preschooler and like, okay, but you
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: know what would be better if you cut it like
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: this and dah, dah, dah. And I think she is
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: with that, like that with H. Yeah. And I think
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: with H, she gently, you know, will take his hand
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: and show him what to do. And you've seen that
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: in interviews where when she like made fun of the
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: curtsy and he was like horrified. There's things like that
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: where he's just like, I think they are in love.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I don't, you know, I think they're in love, but
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I think it's a it's. a unique relationship.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Well, he has mommy issues and she works that out
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: for him. Like she parents him and tells him what
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: to do and controls that relationship. And she loves having
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: the control and he loves being told what to do.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: Like it's so obvious that it's, you know, he lacked
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: a mother figure and she fills that role for him,
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: which is why she constantly compares herself to Diana so
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: that she reminds him, I'm just like your mom. And
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: she keeps him under that spell.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: And also that story about the Irish Catholic dads giving her,
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: you know, marriage advice. She was married before. Yeah. She
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: was married before to a whole person.
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Did she date that guy?
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: Who she was still married to when she met H.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Did they have lunch every day?
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: No.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Did they? And then, but like every story is so
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: boring when she's like, you know, what's funny is when
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: I got Suits, I, it was, I thought it was
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: filmed in Toronto. And then, so I spent some time
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: in Toronto and then it got picked up for next season.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: And then I was in Toronto again. And it was
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: so funny because I was like, am I living in
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Toronto now? There's nothing funny about that. I don't think
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: I've met a least funny person. Has she ever told
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: a remotely funny story? I think she's smart. I don't
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: think she's a mean person. I just think she's an
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: odd bird that has created false news. origin stories and
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: things like a lot of stars have, Jay Shetty and whatnot,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: and then they believe it. And I think he does
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: love her and I think he definitely doesn't want to
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: ever break up his family or anything. But I don't think,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: they're not, what are these big meetings? After this deal
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: is done, there are no other deals in the works.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: So what big thing... You remember when Harry, his Netflix ideas? Oh, no,
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: his podcast ideas?
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: Yeah, he wanted to interview, what, like, Putin and, like,
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: have these sit down.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: And say, why are you a sociopath or a psychopath
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: and I'm not? That's what I was like. You're a
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: psychopath and I'm not. Come sit down with... I just
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: saw a commercial, but I never know what is real
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: anymore if it's on, like, TikTok. Yeah.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: And.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: It's hinting that King Charles is going to have a podcast.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Have you heard this?
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: No.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: What? Why? Why not? I mean. He's going to talk
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: about Amory?
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: At home with me and Camilla.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going to be everything from, I'm sure, politics,
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: charities to housewives. I don't know.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: Sounds like the vile files.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Yes. So then the dad spoke up. And Megan's daddy said,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: I know when she's. Faking it for the camera. She's
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: trying so hard to be perfect that she tenses up
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: every time the camera's on her. I think it's weird
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: that he still is talking negative about her. I mean,
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: he knows he's never going to meet the kids.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: I mean, that's probably why. He's bitter about it.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: He's bitter, and I'm guessing he is getting a little
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: bit of money every time he talks to somebody.
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Like a five grand or something just to give a quote.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Because otherwise, why would you at this point? Because it's
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: not getting you anywhere. You're not getting your own cooking show.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: It's so interesting.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: We haven't heard from the sister.
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: Well, yeah. She had her book. But I feel like
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: it's very similar to Blake Lively. Yeah. Nobody from their
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: past is coming out with nice things to say.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Right? Yeah.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Nobody has any nice, fun stories with them. Even Mindy Kaling.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: She was promoting her new Kate Hudson show on Netflix.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: And she's just like, I'm here to talk about my
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Kate Hudson show, not about Meghan Markle.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: And so she, like, wants to be removed from the narrative.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: And it's just, it's so interesting that the only people
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: that we do have that are willing to speak out
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: about her are her own family that she's discarded, her
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: sister and her dad. And they have nothing nice to
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: say about her. Like, when was the last time you
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: heard one of Meghan, Serena Williams? Why wasn't she on
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: the Meghan show?
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: Because she was, she's friends.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: What about all the people that went to the wedding?
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: And the, and the. bridal shower, the baby shower. Remember
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: she had that shower in New York with all the celebrities?
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Yeah, where are they? And none of them showed up?
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: They're with Taylor Swift not answering the calls. And then
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: what about candle making?
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: I'm like, what.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Fourth grade field trip at the San Fernando Mission am
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: I fucking on right now? Because this is, like, something I'm, like,
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: my worst.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: And it was the wax from the bees. She's like,
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: let me recycle the bee wax.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: As someone who doesn't cook, I actually love watching, like,
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: cooking shit. Yeah. And I keep thinking, like, I'll do it.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: No.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: So this happened over the weekend. James Kennedy came out
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: and he performed for the first time in a while
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: since his arrest and dismissal of domestic violence.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: And he took a photo with the Tate brothers, who
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: are both very problematic, awful. I don't even want to
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: get into it. So he took a photo with them.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: And then what happened?
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: So he took the photo he posted. He said, that's
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: a Bitcoin, which is obviously a reference to when Raquel
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: gave him the ring back at the reunion a couple
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: of seasons ago. And then I guess there was so
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: much backlash and people are like, oh, my gosh, because,
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: you know, the Tate brothers are very controversial.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: So then he issued a statement and he's just like, oh, sorry,
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: I didn't know who they were. I just thought they
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: were like podcasters. And everyone was like, what? Like, how
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: do you not know who they are? So then one
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: of the brothers, so I guess it's Andrew and the
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: other brother is Tristan Tate.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: I kind of believe that he might not know who
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: they are. I kind of do. It's after a show.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: I don't know who they are, and I even know
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: not to take a selfie with them and post it
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: on Instagram. Yeah, I wouldn't have posted it. I know
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: enough about them.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: I understand how sometimes you have to take a photo
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: with someone, but you don't have to post or repost.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: And so he did that, and then he issued a statement.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: He's like, I did my research, and I condoned their behavior,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: like the whole PR talk. And then the Tate brother
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: came out, and he's just like, that's bullshit. He sat
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: with us and talked to us for 30 minutes. He
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: called us heroes. and he very much knew who we were.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: So for him to educate himself on who we are, Like,
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: he didn't just think we were a podcast host that
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: was a fan of Vanderpump Rules, which is what he
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: said in his statement. I just thought they were Vanderpump
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Rules fans, and I wanted to take a photo with them. Like, bullshit. Again, even,
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: I don't know any, I didn't even know that the
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: second Andrew Tate brother had a name. So the fact
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: that I know enough about them to not want to
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: take a selfie with them and post about it, because
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: that's obviously going to set the internet on fire, and
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: I'm very good at doing that already, and this is
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: one move I would not make. He knew better than this. And,
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: you know, right now he's crying to Lisa. Oh, Lisa.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: And he's like, you know, because he's so stupid.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: James, you can't be taking photos with people that are problematic.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: And you've got to ask. Don't. I mean, just do
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: your get your turntables and shut the fuck up.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: Well, especially because, like you said, the charges were dismissed
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: against him. So lucky. Yeah, and he has his gig back.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: Everybody forgot. Like, everybody was moving on at this point.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Just stop stepping in shit.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: And this is the one thing he decides to do.
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: And it's like, oh, my God.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: Speaking of which, The Valley is coming back for the
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: second season. And Jax did an interview with Alex Baskin,
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: and he talked about his addiction. So brave. Brittany went
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: on her podcast, which she used to do with him.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Now she's got control of it. And I listened to it.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Kristen Doty was with her. Also cast on The Valley.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: And it was great. She was like, there are 31
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: lies I counted that I have written down in the
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: Alex Baskin podcast, but I'm only going to mention a few.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: And basically, you know, he has partied and And then
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: come home and yelled at her and been hung over
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: and verbally abused her for years. Has not been very
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: difficult to co-parent with. And we are going to see
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: it all on The Valley. And she believes that's why
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: he wanted to jump ahead of it, which is what
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: I said. Do this interview. Let people know that he's like,
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: I have had an addiction with cocaine and alcohol on
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: and off for 20 years. I am sober now 100 days.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: And so anything you're going to see on the show,
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: just know that that's not who I am. And she's like,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: it still is who he is. As far as she
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: doesn't know, she's not talking about his sobriety, but just
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Difficulty dealing with him is still there. And I just
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: think it's great that I think this is a great show.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: And I think it is great that this is her livelihood.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: She is showing it. And I think it will be
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: very helpful for young parents to see what it's like,
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: her struggling with her, you know, being a single parent
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: with a child that needs special appointments and things like that.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: And then also dealing with an ex When your child
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: has all these extra appointments, so it's already hard enough
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: to deal with an ex when it's just, then you
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: throw in narcissism, ego, 20 years on a reality TV show,
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: recovering alcoholic, TV fame, and a toddler. Like all of
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: it and dating other people is, you know, It's going
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: to be interesting to watch for sure.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: I agree. And I think that this adds like a
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: more compelling layer to the show. Whereas last season it
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: was all we're all couples and we're just working with
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: our babies and we exchanged bottle service for baby bottles.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: But like this adds like a real layer of like
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: what it's like raising a family in the valley and
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: having an ex that you have to deal with. And
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: especially in the valley. Like, I mean, coke heads are
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: a dime a dozen. And I love how Alex Baskin
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: in the interview that he's like, yeah, I just want
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: to be. And we had no idea. I was like,
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: the viewers knew. You're telling me none of the producers
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: knew that Jack's had an issue with substance abuse?
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: Brittany said not until she called the producers, the PR
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: person and his sister and said, y'all better do something
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: about this. And so she said not until she believes
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Jack felt his career, his job was in jeopardy. Did
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: he then go back? To the rehab because he went
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: the first time and left after 17 days. Yeah. Then
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: he went back this next time, which seems to have
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: been successful, according to him. And, you know, and when
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: I said I had Lala on and she attested to
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Brittany fucking like tears in her eyes.
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: Proud of her friend and what she's been through and said,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: I can attest that, you know, Jack's isn't there and blah, blah, blah.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: And I cut a little clip of that, put it out.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: And I got the text messages, like Kristen Doty goes,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: I know I'm going to get these text messages. And
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: I go, okay, I'm taking it down, Jax, because I
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: thought in my being 20 years older than these people
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: and have many friends who have gotten divorced and many
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: friends who've had to co-parent with assholes, I was like,
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: oh shit, is this video going to spark him fighting
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: with her? And I don't want to ever cause... more
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: pain for her. But in turn, she DMed me or
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: texted me and was like, I'm so sorry that he's
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: not telling the truth and I'm fine and this isn't
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: true and dah, dah, dah. And so it's kind of
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: great that he went on the podcast so that she
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: could now, now she's like, now I'm free. Now I'm
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: free to say whatever because for all this time and
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: in the first season, he kept making it look like
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: she was a boozer.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: And she had the problem.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: That she was a boozer and him being like, you're sick.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: You're out here. Now she's like, I don't have stomach
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: issues anymore. I'm not sick because she was a bag
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: of nerves. Yeah. Because she had a home and a
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: business and their businesses being a couple. They have a
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: small child. She did love him. She is that traditional girl.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: So it really took her the moment, the strength to leave,
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: which is also something that I hate it when someone's like,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: you knew who you were marrying. Why didn't you? I'm like,
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: just shut up. Like, just watch it in support and
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: be grateful that she's sharing her journey to maybe help
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: you see something or try to fix it before it
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: gets to the point of that, you know?
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: It was good. No, I agree. And listen, one thing
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: about the Vanderpump people, I mean, I guess with now
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: exception for Ariana, which... piggybacking off the James Kennedy thing.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: I heard she unfollowed him because, you know, she does
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: everything for the audience. But so I.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: She unfollowed James?
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: Because she just wanted to be associated with the team.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Right, and James was a big cheerleader for her.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Yeah. But still, yeah. All of these cast members, I
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: think because they lived their 20s, or I guess they
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: were 30, but they lived their 30s so openly and
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: when they had nothing, that that's all they know how
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: to do is live their life in front of the
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: cameras in that way, that it just, like, watching the
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: Brittany and Jacksonville this season is going to be really interesting.
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: And I don't think they hold anything back.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: No, I mean, I agree. And then what was funny
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: is someone sent me that someone in some of these sites,
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: which I said, don't believe everything's on the internet. Put
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: me as a cast member in the Valley. Because her
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: thirst bucket, I guess, went to too many Vanderpump value shows.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: Were you not at Ocean's Party over the weekend?
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: No, I was not at Ocean's Party.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: Were you invited to Ocean's Party over the weekend?
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: No, I was not. I talked to Lala about it
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: because I go, oh, you know, I've been to Ocean's Party.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: And she goes, you know, this next one is just
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: going to be like, I go, don't even worry about it.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: I had a very busy weekend. I'm moving into this
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: new house. And it's been taking so long to figure
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: out TVs and stuff. And then what popped into my
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: mind was when I interviewed Caitlyn Jenner. And when Caitlyn
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: and Kris broke up before she came out as Caitlyn,
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: she was very complimentary to Kris Jenner. And she said,
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: when we decided that, I found this place. And within
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: 24 hours, Kris had her team come. Every TV worked,
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: every remote worked. It was all furnished. There was food
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: in the fridge. And I'm like, God, I want Kris
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: Jenner as an ex-wife. I was like, could I have
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: a Kris Jenner just come move me in? I talked
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: about their scene from Bredy Broderick. There was a scene
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: in that movie where She moves in all in one
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: day and the husband comes home and she's like, we're
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: all moved in and there's a pot roast. I'm like, oh,
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: my God, push that. But no, I did not. So, OK,
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. What are you thinking about
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: this season?
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: It's fine. It's had moments. It's I don't know. I mean,
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: it's the only house. I feel like they've all been
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: pretty bad lately, but this it's fine. We have a
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: lot of Sutton this season that I don't really need.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: We have a lot of Sutton. This is the lineup
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: for the reunion. So it's Kyle and Dorit, which I
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: think is good.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: And then Sutton and Bose. I guess Bose needs to
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: be next to Dorit. Then Garcelle and Erica. I love Erica.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: I think she's coming off great, but she doesn't have
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: much of her own drama, so that's fine. Jennifer Tilly
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: and Kathy.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: You're right, it's kind of boring. You know, even, so
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: do you think that Lisa, what about when Lisa Run
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: is like, people say it's like the fucking Titanic. I
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: was like, no, it's not. And then I was like, mm.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: I think Housewives overall is like the Titanic and Beverly
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: Hills is like the part of the Titanic that hasn't
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: gone under yet.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: They're holding on.
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: They're holding on to the top. They haven't hit the
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: water yet. But it is like the Titanic. The ship
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: is sinking. I don't know, as much as I love Bravo,
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: I don't know how much longevity they have. How long
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: is Andy Cohen going to be able to carry this
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: on his back?
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Well, okay, speaking of which, here's a little rumor I
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: heard last week. And then you and I hear rumors.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: And we've done this a few times where I'm like...
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: Have you heard about this? And you're like, I don't know.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Is it this? Yes, it is. Can we talk? So
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: I heard a rumor, not a lot of details to
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: this rumor, that come April, there is going to be
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: some announcement that Andy will be stepping down. I don't
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: know if that means immediately in April or like in
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: the next year, there'll be a transition. And we're just
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: letting you people know. I don't know if that means
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: he'll only do the reunion but not watch what happens
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: live or if it'll just mean I'm just doing the
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: radio show and I'm leaving all this behind and I'm
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: going to do a talk show in the morning. I
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: don't know. But I would say this. If it's because
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: he thinks there's greener grass doing a brand new show,
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: I'm going to say Andy. Do not leave. And bravo, Peacock,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: don't let him go because nobody wants him replaced. Nobody
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: wants to see some young buck girl or guy replace
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: him on Watch Robbins Live. And I would say if
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: the idea is, oh, but his kids are growing older,
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: he wants to spend more time with them. I disagree
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: as a working mom doing a weekly show and I
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: was not the host, so I did not have the
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: freedom you have. It is not a hard job. And
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: you could tape it earlier in the day. And you
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: could tape it four shows in two days or whatever
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: it is.
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: Kind of like what he does now, no?
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Yes. You could do all that. And then you could
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: change the times if you want. You could do it
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: at noon. It wouldn't fucking matter. And it doesn't matter
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: that it's called live. It doesn't have to be live.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: It never is live. And that's what I would say.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: And the only reason I would think that this is
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: going to happen is, A, he didn't think it through.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: So maybe he can change his mind. Or there's some...
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: thing that between him and the powers that be have
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: agreed to this because there is some disgruntled somebody that
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: has been shushed in return of him leaving which these
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: are just my thoughts based on a very light rumor
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: that i have heard yeah.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: And I heard the same. We had heard it when
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: we had talked.
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: Last week.
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: Yeah, last week. And, I mean, my understanding was the
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: announcement is coming in April. But we don't know what.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: And all I got was he's stepping down. But I
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: didn't get follow-up details as to what stepping down.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: And it could be 100% rumor lie that someone started. Like,
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: there's not a lot to it.
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: I will say, it does. The person that I heard
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: it from, I don't believe would make this observation. but
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: maybe the information they got was.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: Wasn't totally true either.
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: So, but I mean, maybe it's going to be like,
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: this is the final season of watch what happens live.
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: Cause like, or maybe, I mean, it could even be like,
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: maybe they're going to move watch what happens live to
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: Peacock and like try to reinvent it. You know, the
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: same way Chelsea left E to go to Netflix. Like,
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: do some sort of, I don't know.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: I also heard there's big announcements as far as in
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: April being some new shows and some goodbye. Like, you know,
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: like I've heard there's a spinoff for Teresa.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: Like with her family.
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: And I've, you know, is that true? Is, you know,
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: there's a, they, people have said, Oh, I've noticed a
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: lot of different housewives have been coming to LA for meetings.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: So is there another version of ultimate girls trip, maybe
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: a whole new formula that they're trying to do? Or
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: is there going to be another episode of their love
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Island with four single housewives? That's supposed to be coming out.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: I don't know, like more like one-off shows where they
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: utilize all of them.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: Smart to utilize their legacy talent as they try to
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: figure out what new shows they really want to build
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: up like the Valley. Um, I hope they don't do another.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: Remember when they did that talk show with Brandi Glanville
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: and like who was on it? Giselle Bryant was on it.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: It wasn't Brandi. It was Kate Chastain.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Oh, Brandi wanted to be on it. It was Hannah
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: and Kate Chastain.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: Yeah. And it was a COVID thing and it was
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: just kind of a disaster, but it was cheap. But
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: also watch what happens live. in my opinion, is not
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: an expensive show. No. What makes an expensive show is
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: having a real live audience of like 180 people. They
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: don't have that, so that keeps the cost down. It's
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: not a ton of producers. Oftentimes, they don't have to
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: pay for someone to fly out. They've got a lot
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: of people in New York to fill it. They have
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: all these big stars that want to come on now
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: that didn't want to come on five years ago.
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: Like....
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think the show, even if the show
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: dipped a little, they're not going to, why would get
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: rid of the show?
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: There's no reason to get rid of the show.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Unless he really is burnt on it, which I would say,
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: get unburnt.
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Get unburnt, Andy. Don't make a mistake of someone I
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: know that made a mistake and left a very easy
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: show thinking that it would be, that it would just
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: keep on coming. Like, you could also have guest hosts. Yeah.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: You could have guest hosts for a couple weeks while
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: you leave. That's fun. Just don't give up that anchor
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: because you could do this till you're 75.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: It's easy. I mean, look at Dick Clark did, you know,
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: New Year's Rockin' Eve until he rocked it to the
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: grave that like Andy can totally do that.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: I mean, God, I mean, you've only had me on
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: your show twice in 15 years and I'm still trying
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: to save your ass. I don't know why I don't
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: get more respect in the Bravo world, but clearly I don't. Anyway,
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: that's what I think. Are they gay or not? It's
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: a lifelong question. Kyle and Morgan. And will we ever
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: find out? I have given my opinion about 8,000 times,
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: and it has occasionally changed. What is yours?
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: Have you heard anything? I've heard that they are together.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: I've never heard anything definitive.
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: Well, yeah.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: Oh, no, actually I have heard that they are.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: Yeah. I've heard that they are together.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: But I mean.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: I don't know. Like, I don't understand the point of
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: keeping it secret. Like, the only reason people are interested
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: is because we don't have an answer. And that's the
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: only reason they're still interested.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: For a storyline, hence why they're not getting divorced and
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: hence why nothing definitive has happened because it's not necessary.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: I could also see them playing it up for their daughters.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: Like they don't want their kids to know that they
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: fool around and aren't, you know.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: Good point.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: Loyal to each other. And that's why they have these
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: moments with the daughters and it feels real because it
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: probably is real and they have to keep up the
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: facade for the kids. Yeah. Like they don't want Portia
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: to be like, yeah, my mom's now a lesbian and
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: my dad bangs 19 year old TikTokers. You know, like,
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: it's embarrassing to them. But I would understand why they
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: would keep that guy's up. Because even Kathy was kind of,
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: in this week's episode of the show, she's like, we've
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: heard the rumors for a long time. Like, she was
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: really dragging Mauricio.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Well, she fucking hates him.
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: She hates him.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: Because when he was selling, you know, leisure suits or whatever,
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: and Kyle left her Arabian Prince husband. Yeah. And was
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: single and met him at the Gate Nightclub. And they
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: were living in a two-bedroom apartment with little Farrah and
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: the new baby. And she's like, why don't you guys
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: get your real estate license? And he worked for Hilton
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: and Highland. And I'm sure they handed him listings just
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: like we see the tiny twins give to the little
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Barbie girls. And then, you know, but then the opportunity
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: came because of Housewives. Yeah. And they said, do you
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: want to be the face of this agency? A lot
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: of people think that he owns the agency.
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: He is the CEO and the face of it. Yeah.
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: And maybe he has a stake in some of the franchises.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: But it's a franchise.
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: Like McDonald's.
- 1:23:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: You know? And so they can pop up offices. I could,
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: you know, if I had my broker's license, I could
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: open an agency.
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: Like, it's so... I think it still is a sore
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: spot for Kathy, but, and also her knowing that he
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: wasn't that great of a husband. And I think it's
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: pretty clear that Rick has been a very loyal husband.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: There's never been one fucking story about them. So it's like, Or.
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: Did they just have enough money to pay him off?
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: Like she said, because she's like, Mauricio's not in a
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: position to pay anybody off.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: I think, yeah.
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: Like, how big are those settlements?
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: I think Kathy and Rick really are that couple that
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: just have their understanding and their life at the Cheesecake Factory. Yeah.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: And he thinks she is a hoot. Yeah. I remember
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: the first time I met him, he's like, my wife, Kathy,
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: she does impressions. And, you know, you got to see
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: her like he like they're good. And now we don't
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: seem like because he's she probably knows I don't want
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: him being picked apart. He's an older man now and
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: he's been such like a delight.
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: Like we don't need I don't need to I don't
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: need to expose him. It's not going to you want me.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: You can have me. You know, talk about potatoes and
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: screw up. Like, that fashion show thing was so fake.
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: Like, you know, but it's funny, though, because she was like,
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: I know she thought in her head, wouldn't it be
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: funny if I said, why don't you have Dorit, your
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: arc enemy, go try to emcee the thing? And it
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: was weird. I don't know that she meant to walk
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: out right before the show, but she obviously went to
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: go fluster and.
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: Piss off Sutton.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Which, you know, Sutton did something to her that week
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: that she decided she was going to get her feathers
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: all in a ruffle.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: Or she's just like, if I'm going to show up,
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: I'm going to be featured.
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: So whatever it is, I'm going to say hunky dory.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: I'm going to say a weird thing. But if I'm
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: going to get my makeup person over here and I'm
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: going to film. It's going to be a worth it moment.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: And that's what's great about her.
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: I mean, Dorit called it out and Erica called it out.
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: They're just like, she's not dumb. Like she's smart and
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: she knows what she's doing. And I agree. I mean,
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: I do think that when the fashion show started, like
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: she really was kind of caught off guard that I
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: don't think she was expecting the show to start as quickly.
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: But her ruffling Sutton's feathers, walking up through the middle,
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: like you could walk around the back. Like she strutted
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: right through that. Like she knew exactly what she was
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: doing there.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: Yeah, like she's like, why are you identifying as like
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: an elderly dementia patient when you're not? Like, I don't
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: get it, but whatever. You look good.
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: People love it.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: This has been, what do we think they're really getting divorced,
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: Dorit and PK? What do you think's happening?
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: I think he's over her.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: I don't think she wants anything to do with her anymore. 100%,
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: it's done.
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think that's why Kyle and him are
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: probably so close is they realize she has changed since
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: the show started and she's a completely different person. And
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: she's probably blowing things up with his drinking. Like that's
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: an example of what you don't do. Like with Britney's
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: doing where she kept Jax's stuff concealed until finally she
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: let him do it and then she blasted it all.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: That's one way to go. DeRee, I just, I don't know.
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they're done too. I love always having
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: you on. Thank you for being such a delight as always.
