- 0:00SPEAKER_00: You do, you look gorgeous.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Hey, welcome to The Joy Jolt.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: We're here.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: We are here.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: My name is Natalie Ledwell.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: I'm Susan Patrick.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: And today we're talking about how to reset and reconnect to yourself so that you can rejuvenate.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay, wait, those were a lot of R's.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Reconnect,
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Rejuvenate Reset Rejuvenate That's right I love it Because I have just had a couple
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: of experiences while I've been here in Australia and I had one day in particular
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: which I've got to describe to you it was just it was so magical
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: that I was teary most of the day because I woke up in
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: the morning I've been working early because you know the time difference here
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: And so I walked from Potts Point, this area in Sydney, into the main city.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: I had to do something to get some internet because my dad doesn't have internet
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: when I've been staying with my dad.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, better sort that out.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: But then I walked from there through to Darling Harbour,
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: around to Pyrmont, went to the fish markets.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: I sat there and had some beautiful,
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: you know, Sydney rock oysters, which are my favourite, which I miss.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: And just was talking to different people because they had benched communal seating.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: So I was able to talk to a few different people that were there.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: It was amazing.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: The Sun Was Shining But Then I Also Walked Back And Around Like King Street Wharf
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: And Barangaroo And There's This Whole New Area Of Parkland
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: So It's Like Walking Trails Around The Harbour Parks And Grasses And Lawns
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: And Things And It Was Just And I Was Just In Awe
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: but loving being connected to myself but being amongst people,
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: and then I kind of walked through to the rocks and then I sat down and I had
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: a little Prosecco as I'm looking at the harbour and started chatting
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: to some people next to me and then ended up at a pub where they had live music
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: and ended up meeting the lead singer of the band.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: Of course you did.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Yes, because I read something the other day
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: A woman wrote a book about how to be at this age and be single.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: And she said, there's a difference between loneliness and being alone.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: And it really was playing on my mind.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you know, I had the most spectacular day.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: I was so grateful and I was so connected to myself.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: And I think because I've been here and I've been away from my regular life,
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: it's really helped me to reset myself.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: We don't realize how important it is to give ourselves the opportunity to step away
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: from kind of what is the routine so that we can experience that reset.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: yeah you know and and and that that I think I mean
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: and you know what I'll be honest Nat I mean I know this is an audio podcast for
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: a lot of people that are listening but you look gorgeous you look really refreshed
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: and you do you look like you've been renewed it's beautiful to see you in this space
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: so I love that you've had this time to reconnect with yourself yeah
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: I have reconnected with family too which has been amazing the service
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: for mum couldn't have gone any better it was just fantastic and all
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: the family we love mum mum would have been very happy
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: because everyone was there everyone was getting along like the fireworks
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: when she was like yeah oh we love mum
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, I mean, I think that this is the conversation that we're having.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: It's one of the reasons that you and I are doing a retreat in October.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: And I love that this is so directly connected to what you're experiencing right now,
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: that giving yourself the gift of getting away and giving yourself the gift
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: to reconnect with yourself.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: so that you can recharge and reenergize and step into that thing that is our right.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: We don't.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: So I did this little post the other day about,
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: I was listening to people talk about,
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: should people be married or should they be,
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: you know, they were talking about the traditional wives and what that looks like.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And there's so much noise in the world that's telling people how they're supposed to live.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: And it's like,
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: if you do it like this and if you do it like this and if you do it like this,
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: you'll be happy.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: But I'm like, it's such a it's such a lie.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Because real joy and real happiness comes from being alone with yourself.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Everything's a variable.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: You're just around a bunch of variables.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: And thank God we have all kinds of variables around us in our life.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: But those variables are not responsible for your joy.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Those variables are not responsible for your happiness.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Those variables are just variables.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: They're out there.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: But too many people make their joy contingent on the variables that they're sitting in front of.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: or sitting around.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: And it's like, my joy isn't a variable.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: You know, it's the one denominator that's inside of me that I'm like, it's going to add up.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: We're going to do it.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: I was like, it's going to be on the positive side for me.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: Well, and I think, you know, we've said this many times that joy is a choice.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: So yes, I'm here in Australia in winter, which I would never do.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: And it's not like I'm in Orange and Bathurst Like it's cold here
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: The other morning I had to get a jug of water To pour it over the windscreen Because
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: the windscreen was iced up That's how cold it is And I haven't done winter
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: for like 20 years But even though it's sad circumstances
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: that I'm here I'm still choosing to be present And to be dropped in And to
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: appreciate all of the little moments that are happening you know um but I think
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: that you know what we call that is awareness like I'm aware
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: of everything that's happening I'm aware of what's what's going on
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: and choosing how I'm responding to it yeah full stop and don't you think that that
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: that you know what I love is that this joy jolt conversation for me is
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: the constant reminder that joy is important it's the goal
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: It's what I'm working towards.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: It's what I desire to have more of in my life.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: And when you surround yourself with people who are committed to be
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: in joyful conversations,
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: a lot of people don't know how to be in joyful conversations.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: A lot of people are really good at not being joyful.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: And that almost is the norm.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: But that sense of like,
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: I am committed to being in joyful conversations with people who are committed
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: to joy.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: Does that mean we're always joyful?
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: There's moments when we're not.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: But the vast majority of time, it's seeking joy.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: It's moving towards joy.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: It's knowing that the solution is going to be anchored in
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: a joyful experience that's my commitment my commitment is my joy well I watched this
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: really interesting movie on the plane coming over called Eternity and I don't know
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: if you've seen it but the premise of the movie is that
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: you know this old guy him and his wife are kind of arguing and bickering
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: and whatever and they're at a family gathering and he chokes on a pretzel
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: and he dies oh god and he goes goes to like the way so it's all about
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: the afterlife right so he's at the the way station where he has to pick an eternity
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: so you get there and you choose which eternity you want and then you have that for
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: the rest of your you know for eternity oh all right yeah
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: But his wife has cancer,
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: so he's like, well,
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: I want to wait for my wife and then we can, you know, do the eternity together.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: So anyway,
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: she does die and she meets him at the weigh station,
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: but who is also at the weigh station is her first husband.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, my.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: And he waited 67 years for her to get there.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: An afterlife love triangle.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: But really the crux of the whole story was that
- 8:39SPEAKER_01: is, you know,
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: she had this young love with her first husband and he went off to war and was killed
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: in the war, right, in Korean War.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: But it was one of those,
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: you know, young,
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: passionate loves that,
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: they didn't have a mortgage yet,
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: they didn't have kids, it was just that, like it was a memory.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: But then she has a husband that she was with for 65 years.
- 9:01Wow.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: And they had this, and he was like the steady Eddie.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: He would always make sure that she was looked after,
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: that they had kids and they had a good life and all that kind of stuff.
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: And she had to try and choose who to have eternity with out of these two men.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: And I don't want to really give away the story.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: I think she should choose in the afterlife to be Polly.
- 9:28SPEAKER_01: Well, she nearly went off with her lesbian neighbour, but she decided not to.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: That threw a spanner in the works.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: One of the realizations that she had was that,
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: you know, love or joy or happiness is not just a one moment.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: It's not just a thing.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: It is having, experiencing that despite...
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: the stresses of life, despite the mortgages and the ups and downs and everything.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I think that's really what we're aiming for.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: But what's been helpful for me,
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: what I've loved about being here is it's my opportunity to get away
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: from actual life, like real life, and have the space and
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: To be able to remember what's important.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: Because joy is what?
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: Because joy is just opening.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: Joy is literally space.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Joy is space.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: And a lot of us don't give, and especially women, we don't give ourselves space.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: We don't give ourselves space to explore what we want to think,
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: what we want to feel,
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: where we want to go,
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: how we want to,
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: you know, it's like, it is, it literally joy is the most, it's expansion.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: and we live such intense lives where everybody's depending on us and we need to,
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: and it's like there's a routine that needs to, and it takes away our space.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: And so I think that inherently is what you're experiencing while you're
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: in Australia, right, just kind of more expansiveness, more space.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because, I mean,
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: when you think about it, I mean, the world is not going to calm down anytime soon.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: No, you've got to take space.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: You've got to take space for yourself.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: yes right you have to take you have to take space I got to take space for myself and
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: the thing is even at home because everything is like just
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: so rush rush rush like I know consciously that I want to you know have
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: a better daily practice that I want to do my meditations I want to make sure
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: that I'm exercising all those kind of things but now because I've had this time
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: to reset it's like okay
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: now i'm committed to it you know and i have the tools for it yeah
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: because you know we because there's a conversation that's up
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: for you nat like we are we are committed because this this podcast isn't just
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: about people who are on this podcast about us i'm doing this work this is happening
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: in real time yeah you know what i want for everybody who's listening
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: in this podcast right now is like i want them to know that like
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: and this is how i feel this is the way that it is integrated for a practice
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: for me i am plugging into the experience of my joy
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: intentionally as many times as I can in the day.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: And I do it in the most mundane moments of my life.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: I do it when I'm sitting in my car.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Some of my most blissful moments,
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: I had one today where I was going off,
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: I was getting a facial and I'm driving there and I just kind of put
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: on some really happy music and then I let my body see if it could plug into
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: the feeling of joy.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: And I sat there and I was like, I'm going to do it right now.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: It almost looks like an orgasm.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: It's like,
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: That's what it is.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: It's a joygasm.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: And that's available to us if you open yourself to the experience.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: And that's what you were having.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: You were having all these joygasms along the way.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: You were like, oh!
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: Even driving from Sydney out to Orange, which is about a four-hour drive, I had my joy playlist.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: yeah I had that playing and then I was I was actually I missed a couple of turns
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: because it's been a while since I've been in Sydney so I actually rather than going
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: through the tunnels which would have been faster I actually went through some of
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: the city streets which I haven't driven on for ages
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: and I'm just like oh this is amazing I want to say that does
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: that word exist joygasm does anybody I don't know but we should we should run with
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: that I think we should we should you've heard it here first you came here first yeah
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: that's it
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: It's a joygasm.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: It's the energy.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: And you can just imagine.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: And we need to give ourselves the permission to have that pleasure,
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: that pleasure of joy, that pleasure of that moment of expansion.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't have to come from anything that makes sense to anybody else.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: Like that day in Sydney that you just shared with us,
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: which was a gift to hear, was still uniquely yours.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: yeah no that's like even missing missing you going through all
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: the streets I mean I could have been Nat you idiot you just added all this time
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: but I was just like no I'm here now so let's just look at how much Sydney's changed
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: since I mean it's been nearly 20 years since I lived wow wow a lot of change
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: a lot has changed and I love this city I do I love Sydney
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: so much I really do miss it
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: So I'm taking all the opportunity that I can to really just soak that in.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: And, you know,
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: I want to take this opportunity to talk a little bit about what we are organising
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: for October.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Because,
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: if anything,
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: because,
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: you and I have been talking about it for a little while and we've been,
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: trying to organise a few things,
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: but really the experience that I've had here in Australia has concreted this in
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: for me as to how important it is that we...
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: You keep talking and I'm going to show people.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: Go, go, go.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: Am I describing it to the people that are just listening?
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're describing it.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to give the background of what you're describing.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: So, I mean,
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: of course,
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: coming to Australia, even though it's winter, it is a beautiful place for me.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: So it's easy to be able to reset.
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: And this is what we want to
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: create for women and only a small amount of women.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: I think we're like 15, 16 is, you know, the amount that we want.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: But in paradise and in a place where not only is it,
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: easier to be able to reset your nervous system, reset,
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: your regulation of your emotions to really get back to center,
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: but also to connect with other women who are on a similar journey to you.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: I think is really important because there is there is a bit of
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: a loneliness epidemic happening out there and
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: the thing is I don't see anything wrong with being alone but we want
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: to help you not feel that loneliness and part of that is to have you know connection
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: with other women that are you know especially at this time
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: of life you know sometimes it's difficult sometimes to make new friends and you know
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: But what I want to say, too, about what we're creating is this is not just some other retreat.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: This is a luxury experience for women who have already done the work.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: So this is not like, let's come and sit and just do work around.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: We're not going to be hitting pillows and we're not going to be crying about our past.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: If that needs to come up, it can come up.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: But the truth is, this is really about joy.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: And enjoying yourself and enjoying yourself in a space that's giving back to you
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: and it's nurturing.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: I feel like how many women just don't ever feel nurtured.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: You know, and that's what we're creating.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: We're curating a space where we're going to nurture women and in nurturing,
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: you can enjoy yourself.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: And we're going to have a lot of fun.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: And you can take that back into your life.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: like how to yeah and I mean it's not like we do yes there'll be workshops
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: and things you know it's not like we're sitting down and talking about the basics
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: of law of attraction or anything like that will we will we after we've had a lot
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: of information and we've been able to completely change our frequency will we
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: then you know be getting excited and optimistic and and planning a
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: an amazing life yes we will definitely be doing that
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: But we also have Dr.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Diane Kazin who's a specialist for peptides with women because guys,
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: this is where it's all at.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Peptides has completely changed my life.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: And it's really important that you get the right information about peptides
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: because there's a lot of,
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: stuff out there and you want to make sure that you've got the right information,
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: you're doing the right thing.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: And this event is about mind, body, spirit.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: So we're nurturing you at the mind, which hi, Natalie, mind movies.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Body, we've got Dr. Diane Kaser.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: And then spirit, we've got me, Susan from The Joy Jolt.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: And so it really is nurturing you at those levels.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Not fixing you, not completing you,
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be playing with you and vibrating with you and inviting you
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: and expanding with you and holding space with you and just being,
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: just opening yourself at that mind,
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: body, and spirit level in a really luxurious, beautiful space.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: So much fun.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: Well, you and I are organizing it, so it's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: It's, you know, I've been living in Mexico now.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: It's going to be 12 years July.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: It'll be July 5th is my anniversary.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: And I've threatened, I've been threatening to throw a retreat since I've moved down here.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: And this is the first time that I've really realized what I want to do is I want
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: to do something that is totally real.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: A lot of times people come down to Mexico and it's kind of like,
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: oh, we're going to go to Mexico.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: And they have this kind of experience that's, it's not curated and it's not connected to what
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: is real in Mexico.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: And so we're going to be at in a space in a family hotel owned by
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: a real Mexican family who lives in the community that we're in.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: And it's a beautiful space that they've created.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: We're going to be in one of my best
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: Best Friend's Homes Where She Raised Her Children Like This Is
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: A Real Space We're Going To Be On A Wild Beach
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: Where You Look Left You Don't See Anybody You Look Right You Don't See Anybody
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: And It's A Wild Beautiful Beach Where We're Going
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: To Be Doing Some Amazing Activities That Is Just Walking Distance From Where We Are
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Because It Is About Getting Your Feet Back Into What Is Real And Helping
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: To Realign Your Nervous System And Just Open Yourself So That You Can Exhale And
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: and you get to do this in a community of amazing women.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: So I'm excited about the experience you've had in Australia Nat and how it's kind
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: of reconfirmed how important it is what we're going to be doing in October.
- 20:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: And, you know,
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: it's like I said,
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: we want to really not it's not just the fun that we're going to have at that time.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: It's also
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: how we change who we are, how we show up, remember who we are.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: You know,
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: not the labels,
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: not the wife,
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: the mother,
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: the thing,
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: the woman that always holds everything together,
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: like remembering who you really are at the core because that's what's going
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: to help us navigate this crazy, crazy world right now.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: It's true.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: It's what's going to help us.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: And we, you know, we're going to enjoy ourselves.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: And I think that it sounds simple, but really, really, are you enjoying yourself every day?
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: Are you enjoying yourself?
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: It's a great question to ask.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Am I enjoying myself?
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: And how can I enjoy myself more?
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: Ooh, right?
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: More joygasms.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: More joygasms.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: And we know that,
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: even though things can be challenging and I've been through,
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: a challenging time,
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: I know that when I'm in that low frequency and I'm looking at the problem
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: and I'm trying to figure it out, I can't get out of that.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: But, of course,
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: once we remember and we are vibrating at a completely different frequency,
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: life gets easier.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: Things come to you faster.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, everything becomes easier.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: And I think that,
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: I forgot that Like when I was in my little dark night It was difficult for me to do
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: that and to remember that
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: Can I just say that's why this conversation and being in the joy conversation was
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: so important so this is not about not being in the dark night of the soul it's
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: about being courageous enough to still be in the conversation about joy when you're
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: in the dark night of the soul and I saw you Nat and that's one of
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: the things I'm loving about what's evolving for you is
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: that this conversation talking
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: about joy is not frivolous it is life giving it is life giving
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: And so, you know, you got to be where you are and there's stuff going on in everyone's life.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: But make sure that you keep adding that conversation of am I enjoying myself
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: and how can I enjoy myself more?
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: And when you make that conversation important, it opens up space.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Just open yourself and it will create relief where there wasn't relief before.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: And so I know we're going to be going into the deeper conversation
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: with our paid subscribers in a moment.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: We're going to talk a little bit more.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: I think we should we should we should have more fun with this idea of the joygasm.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm intrigued by this concept.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: and so we're going to talk about that but I know Nat also had something she wanted
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: to share well with our paid subscribers when we get in if you're not
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: a paid subscriber yet please help continue the joy conversation become
