Mallorca is set to swoop in and sign 23-year-old winger Josep Cerdà from FC Andorra for around two million euros, a deal made possible after Club Brugge’s big-money move freed up funds. Cerdà, who netted ten goals last season in Segunda División, is seen as crucial for Mallorca’s push back up the ladder. Despite a minor injury, he’s expected to return in two weeks. Andorra is already scouting replacements, including Romanian Enes Sali and a potential loan for Guille Fernández. This signing signals Mallorca’s serious intent to rebuild and compete.
