Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Well, all these polls you see in public, all these
- 0:11Speaker 1: junk polls, these media polls, these college polls with the
- 0:14Speaker 1: worst metrics all rigged, slanted by us. Candidates don't use them.
- 0:18Speaker 1: They use the real polls that are much more sophisticated.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Here is the best pollster of all, John McLaughlin. His
- 0:25Speaker 1: website is McLaughlinOnline.com. He works for all the top candidates, presidents,
- 0:32Speaker 1: prime ministers. John McLaughlin, how are you doing?
- 0:36Speaker 3: I'm doing well.
- 0:37Speaker 2: It's 11 days to go. Lots of things, lots of
- 0:42Speaker 2: moving parts going on.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Right now and a lot of close races.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Would you agree when it comes to the House, it's
- 0:49Speaker 1: too close to call. Nobody knows what's going to happen.
- 0:53Speaker 2: There's too many seats in play. There's over 70 seats
- 0:55Speaker 2: that are being contested that are in play, whether they
- 0:58Speaker 2: say they lean Republican or Democrat or they are pure toss-ups.
- 1:02Speaker 2: There's almost 20 seats that are considered pure toss-ups. So
- 1:06Speaker 2: it's definitely in play. And so a lot of these
- 1:08Speaker 2: polls that are coming out, where like there was a
- 1:10Speaker 2: New York Times poll in the last couple of days
- 1:12Speaker 2: that had like Republicans down double digits in the generic ballot. And, uh,
- 1:17Speaker 2: Alice had them down five, but you know, that's pretty close. And,
- 1:20Speaker 2: you know, they can make up that ground and generically, uh,
- 1:24Speaker 2: as a team. But, uh, for that one, when you
- 1:27Speaker 2: go into the internals, you're finding like there's more Harris voters.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Than Trump voters.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And it doesn't, even though they did 3000 interviews, it
- 1:35Speaker 2: doesn't match up with the actual, uh, political party and
- 1:40Speaker 2: demographics of, uh, a national survey. So, uh, So they were, again,
- 1:45Speaker 2: back to under-polling Republicans and under-polling Trump voters and saying, oh.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Well, the Democrats are by double digits. Go home. Don't
- 1:52Speaker 3: bother voting. Because the Democrats know that they usually do
- 1:56Speaker 3: better in the early voting, and Republicans do better on
- 1:59Speaker 3: Election Day. So they try to discourage Republicans.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, we should point out, if you're in New
- 2:04Speaker 1: York State, early voting starts tomorrow. Tomorrow you can go vote.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Do it.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Vote for Bruce Blakeman. Vote for Trump. Hey, this candidate
- 2:13Speaker 1: for attorney general, she's brilliant. She's great in the debate.
- 2:17Speaker 1: But people don't know her. They can't even say her name.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Does she have any chance at winning?
- 2:21Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. She's coming already. So she definitely does. I mean,
- 2:26Speaker 2: you saw the poll that her campaign put out earlier
- 2:29Speaker 2: this week where she was down six points, 51 to
- 2:32Speaker 2: 45 against Letitia James. And because she's running against Letitia James,
- 2:37Speaker 2: she has a shot. But the other reason is in
- 2:39Speaker 2: the same poll. They had Bruce Blakeman trailing by only four,
- 2:43Speaker 2: 50 to 46. And it's a reputable pollster. It's not
- 2:45Speaker 2: my poll. It's on message.
- 2:47Speaker 3: I know them. They're very good pollsters.
- 2:50Speaker 2: They work for a lot of senators and governors across
- 2:52Speaker 2: the country. And because that poll said if Bruce Blakeman wins,
- 2:57Speaker 2: she's probably going to win, too. So your point about
- 3:01Speaker 2: the early voting is very important. And, uh, you know,
- 3:05Speaker 2: there's a history of polls in New York where you just,
- 3:07Speaker 2: like you see this, this Quinnipiac poll, another school that
- 3:10Speaker 2: should devote itself to football or something else, but they've
- 3:13Speaker 2: took a poll and they don't release, they released the party.
- 3:16Speaker 2: They only have 22% Republicans. And when you look at
- 3:19Speaker 2: the actual vote, that's more like a registered voter poll,
- 3:22Speaker 2: a 13 million registered, but a lot of registered voters
- 3:25Speaker 2: in New York don't vote. So, you know, you'll get
- 3:27Speaker 2: about 6 million like you did four years ago with
- 3:29Speaker 2: Lee Zeldin and, uh, and Hochul, and out of that
- 3:33Speaker 2: 6 million, 30% were Republicans. So Quinnipiac decides, well, 8%
- 3:38Speaker 2: of the Republicans aren't showing up. And then they released
- 3:41Speaker 2: no other demographics. You have no idea how old the
- 3:44Speaker 2: electorate is. You have no idea who's white, black, Hispanic, Asian.
- 3:49Speaker 2: You have no idea their education levels or their religion.
- 3:53Speaker 2: And a lot of these polls are infamous for under-polling
- 3:56Speaker 2: Jewish voters and Orthodox Jewish voters. So you have no
- 4:00Speaker 2: idea which of their polls are good polls or bad
- 4:02Speaker 2: polls because they're not transparent. But they get away with
- 4:04Speaker 2: it because the media says so. They like them and
- 4:07Speaker 2: they just run with it. So that poll is definitely skewed.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah, all of these fake polls from the media and the– colleges,
- 4:16Speaker 1: you know, they put Republicans at 23% of the sample,
- 4:19Speaker 1: which is ridiculous. How do they in their own head,
- 4:22Speaker 1: how do they justify doing that?
- 4:25Speaker 3: Well, the media prints it. They don't, there's a double standard.
- 4:29Speaker 3: If I put out a poll, I gotta give, I
- 4:32Speaker 3: gotta give them all.
- 4:33Speaker 2: We want to see all your demographics. We want to
- 4:35Speaker 2: see your crosshairs. We want to see this, that I
- 4:37Speaker 2: got to file a memo. If I do for Blakeman,
- 4:40Speaker 2: like when we had him down four points, I had
- 4:42Speaker 2: to put a memo into the state board of elections.
- 4:45Speaker 2: saying this is how we ask the questions, this was
- 4:46Speaker 2: the methodology, and give all sorts of key demographics.
- 4:51Speaker 3: So I comply with state law in New York. But
- 4:54Speaker 3: they don't have to do that. Because the New York.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Times and Newsday just run with it, and the TV
- 5:01Speaker 2: stations just run with it.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Because they have.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You know, they like the idea that Hochul's raised taxes
- 5:07Speaker 2: by $ 8 billion and how Mondami are going to raise
- 5:10Speaker 2: taxes by billions more after Election Day. So there's a
- 5:13Speaker 2: lot of liberal media that think that's a great thing.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And they don't mind that people are leaving New York
- 5:19Speaker 2: and the rest of us who want to stay in
- 5:21Speaker 2: New York, we don't want to pay.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I mean, Mondami and Hochul, she's campaigning with him today.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Yeah, let me ask you a question. Will they take
- 5:27Speaker 1: the footage of them together campaigning today? Could that be
- 5:30Speaker 1: used in ads upstate?
- 5:33Speaker 3: We already have it. It's already in our heads.
- 5:37Speaker 2: So, I mean, you go out on Long Island and
- 5:41Speaker 2: you go to the suburbs or the outer boroughs.
- 5:43Speaker 3: I mean, they know, homeowners know.
- 5:45Speaker 2: That Mondami wants to raise property taxes 9.5% on them.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And they know that he's asking for like a wealth tax,
- 5:53Speaker 2: a death tax. In New York State right now, you've
- 5:57Speaker 2: got to make about $ 7 million to be subject to
- 5:59Speaker 2: the death tax, the estate tax. He wants to lower,
- 6:02Speaker 2: him and the DSA want to lower it to $ 750, 000.
- 6:04Speaker 2: So if you sell your home, your kids are going
- 6:06Speaker 2: to have to pay an extra 16% on tax for
- 6:09Speaker 2: your small business or upstate farms. So upstate, they're really
- 6:14Speaker 2: upset that Hochul, you know, because the city and the
- 6:17Speaker 2: state are in deficits for billions. So upstate, they're really
- 6:20Speaker 2: upset that she just flat out, when he was doing
- 6:22Speaker 2: his child daycare, she.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Gave him a couple billion or whatever.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And she just took it out of whatever state funds
- 6:28Speaker 2: were there and just gave it to him. And after
- 6:30Speaker 2: election day, you know, she'll give him whatever he wants.
- 6:34Speaker 3: And whether it's.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Income taxes, state taxes, corporate taxes. They're going to raise it.
- 6:40Speaker 2: And then the icing on the cake will be when
- 6:42Speaker 2: he closes Rutgers Island and releases.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Thousands of prisoners.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So, you know, if you want to stop all that,
- 6:49Speaker 2: the only way to stop it is to vote for Bruce.
- 6:51Speaker 1: And you can start voting tomorrow. It's a good time
- 6:53Speaker 1: to vote on the weekend.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yes. Tomorrow and all week. All week you can go
- 6:57Speaker 3: to the early voting place.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Now, the media has every just average voter convinced that
- 7:03Speaker 1: the Republicans can't win because of the price of gas.
- 7:06Speaker 1: It's the greatest pollster. Is it really the case that
- 7:10Speaker 1: many people, most people will be voting based on the
- 7:13Speaker 1: price of gas?
- 7:15Speaker 2: Well, it doesn't help that one up, but then the
- 7:17Speaker 2: Iranians know exactly what they were doing when they tried
- 7:21Speaker 2: to shut down the Strait of Hormuz. But on the
- 7:23Speaker 2: other hand, it's less than it was when Joe Biden
- 7:26Speaker 2: was president, and.
- 7:27Speaker 3: You've got to believe President.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Trump, that when Iran suffers enough that they capitulate.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I said, yes, we'll go back down to like $ 3
- 7:37Speaker 3: a gallon or less.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Is it really the number one issue people are voting on?
- 7:42Speaker 2: No, but of course the living affordability. And when you
- 7:45Speaker 2: go back to that issue, you know, when you see
- 7:48Speaker 2: Kathy Hochul's name on the ballot, just think about the
- 7:52Speaker 2: 48 utility price increases you've paid. You're paying thousands of
- 7:55Speaker 2: dollars more in utility bills in New York State. Think
- 7:59Speaker 2: about the $ 8 billion in taxes. Think about the billions
- 8:02Speaker 2: more in taxes that are coming, income payroll increases. property
- 8:05Speaker 2: taxes will be coming when Mondami collects whatever his.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Endorsement is worth.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And so that's the affordability in New York.
- 8:13Speaker 3: That issue is, that's actually the big issue.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yeah, now in New York, listen, there's definitely some cheating.
- 8:21Speaker 1: There's definitely some illegals voting. There's definitely a little tampering
- 8:24Speaker 1: here and there. How much extra do you have to
- 8:26Speaker 1: win by to overcome that cheating in New York?
- 8:30Speaker 2: Well, I would say it needs to be more than 1%. Oh,
- 8:35Speaker 2: that's not bad.
- 8:38Speaker 3: But it's during the day.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It goes on during the day where you have to
- 8:42Speaker 2: monitor what's going on in New York City and other.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Democrat strongholds around the state. So you have to make sure.
- 8:49Speaker 2: That people that are voting only vote once and they're
- 8:53Speaker 2: legit legal citizens. And it's very hard in New York
- 8:57Speaker 2: in a state.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Without voter ID. I mean, they all.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Know when you sign that electronic when you go on
- 9:04Speaker 2: a vote and there's an electronic signature, I mean, the, the,
- 9:07Speaker 2: the poor little old ladies who are doing the port
- 9:10Speaker 2: of elections work, try to make sure it's an honest election.
- 9:13Speaker 3: You can't show them ID. And then you sign that thing.
- 9:15Speaker 2: They have no idea if it's you or not, but
- 9:17Speaker 2: they just, uh, unless they're your neighbor and they know you,
- 9:20Speaker 2: but in New York city, that's fair.
- 9:22Speaker 1: So, uh, Bruce Blakeman been a great candidate. He'd be
- 9:26Speaker 1: the best governor you could find right now. Uh, what
- 9:30Speaker 1: are the odds right now? Is it pretty much deadlocked?
- 9:31Speaker 1: Would you say, which in the margin of error?
- 9:33Speaker 3: Uh, Oh, absolutely. Absolutely.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I mean, the next 11 days are critical for Bruce.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I mean, he's working really hard. He was in the
- 9:40Speaker 2: Bronx yesterday. I mean, he's just he's he's he's all
- 9:43Speaker 2: over and he's getting endorsements from Democrats. I mean, right now,
- 9:47Speaker 2: there's a lot of Democrats coming out and endorsing Bruce
- 9:51Speaker 2: because they can't they they can't afford it. I mean,
- 9:54Speaker 2: between between taxes and the crime, they don't like spending
- 9:59Speaker 2: eight billion dollars for illegal immigrants, whether it's health care
- 10:02Speaker 2: or housing or.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Food, law enforcement.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I mean, she's got her priorities all wrong. So there's
- 10:10Speaker 2: a lot of people coming out for Bruce.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Wow, that's good to hear. Well, John McLaughlin, Keep up
- 10:15Speaker 1: the good work. He's the best pollster of all. I
- 10:18Speaker 1: could say in the world because people do hire you
- 10:20Speaker 1: from all over the world. Hey, you're the Netanyahu pollster.
- 10:23Speaker 1: We only got a few seconds. His election is this
- 10:26Speaker 1: coming week. How does it look?
- 10:28Speaker 2: Very close because the Israeli electorate is always very volatile,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and they have multiple parties, so it's always very complex.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So he said to me back in 2003 when I
- 10:37Speaker 2: started working for him, he says, What do you know
- 10:40Speaker 2: about Jewish voters? I said I'm from New York.
- 10:42Speaker 3: All right.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Well, great work, John McLaughlin. Check his website, McLaughlinOnline.com. McLaughlinOnline.com.
- 10:52Speaker 1: He's got a lot of good stuff up there. McLaughlinOnline.com.
- 10:56Speaker 1: John McLaughlin, thanks for being with us.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Thank you. Vote and vote.
- 11:02Speaker 1: All right.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Vote early if you can. Thank you.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Take care. Yeah, early voting starts tomorrow in New York.
- 11:09Speaker 1: That's a good time to do it. Do it this weekend.
- 11:12Speaker 1: You can do it up until the election. You can
- 11:14Speaker 1: do it all week long. But weekend, it's easy. Go vote.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Do it tomorrow. Vote for Bruce Blakeman, obviously. And vote
- 11:21Speaker 1: for the Republican candidate for Attorney General.
- 11:23Speaker 3: She is great.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Hey, don't forget at noon, it's Buck Sexton, Clay Travis.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Three o'clock, the most listened to radio show in America,
- 11:32Speaker 1: Sean Hannity, Jesse Kelly at six. The great Jimmy Fallon.
- 11:36Speaker 1: 9 o'clock tonight. I'm here three hours now, 9 to
- 11:40Speaker 1: noon every day, 6 to 9 a.m. Curtis Sliwa and
- 11:44Speaker 1: Larry Menti on 710WOR.
