- 0:02Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:05Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture.
- 0:07Speaker 2: News twice a week.
- 0:09Speaker 1: I'm Amy Torber and coming up on today's show, Tami
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hembro debuts her new man.
- 0:15Speaker 2: And why everyone's pissed at the road event guest list.
- 0:18Speaker 1: But first, tickets to Hilary Duff's world tour officially go
- 0:22Speaker 1: on pre-sale today.
- 0:23Speaker 2: I'm so excited, but also really nervous.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I just realized that today is also two years to
- 0:28Speaker 1: the day that we saw Taylor Swift in concert for
- 0:31Speaker 1: the Eras Tour. Maybe that's a good sign. Maybe we
- 0:33Speaker 1: are going to get some good tickets. I've got PTSD
- 0:35Speaker 1: still from that waiting room. I think we spent two
- 0:38Speaker 1: full days logged in trying to get tickets.
- 0:41Speaker 2: At least we actually got tickets though. So many people didn't.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Well, the difference this time around is I've got a
- 0:45Speaker 1: toddler and you guys have got babies that we have
- 0:47Speaker 1: on this strict routine. And I'm like, okay, so the
- 0:49Speaker 1: pre-sale starts at, I think it's 1130 Adelaide time. And
- 0:52Speaker 1: then I'm like, hang on. They go down for their
- 0:54Speaker 1: nap at one. What happens if you get in and
- 0:58Speaker 1: you're busy? We need to have a plan. Well, Soph
- 1:01Speaker 1: and I have also got a work shoot on, so
- 1:03Speaker 1: that's going to make things extra difficult, but you just
- 1:05Speaker 1: have to try. Look, I'm sure it's not going to
- 1:07Speaker 1: be as popular as Taylor Swift, or am I setting
- 1:09Speaker 1: us up for a big fall? Don't jinx it. I mean,
- 1:11Speaker 1: Hilary Duff has 27.9 million followers on Instagram, and she
- 1:15Speaker 1: has created such a buzz. The marketing around Her comeback
- 1:18Speaker 1: has been incredible. And I think a big part of
- 1:20Speaker 1: the reason why so many people want to go to
- 1:22Speaker 1: her concert. There's so many different pre-sales on. I have
- 1:25Speaker 1: ordered her vinyl album from Warner Brothers in the hope
- 1:27Speaker 1: that maybe I'll be able to get some tickets. But
- 1:30Speaker 1: I heard some people saying online that you should only
- 1:32Speaker 1: be able to enter the pre-sale if your birth year
- 1:36Speaker 1: starts with.
- 1:37Speaker 2: One and a nine. And I think they're onto something. 100% agree.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Or perhaps providing proof of you going to her concert
- 1:42Speaker 1: the last time.
- 1:43Speaker 2: She was in Australia.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I think that's a true fan. It's really crazy that
- 1:46Speaker 1: it's been over 20 years since Hilary was last here
- 1:49Speaker 1: for her Australian concert. I mean, we would have had
- 1:51Speaker 1: to call up Ticket Tech or even line up. It's
- 1:54Speaker 1: amazing how much modern technology has changed.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Was I the only one that felt like it was
- 1:59Speaker 3: hard to watch that road event? You know that one
- 2:01Speaker 3: in Sydney with all the influencers? That was the most
- 2:06Speaker 3: cringiest thing I have ever seen.
- 2:09Speaker 1: In case you've been living under a rock, Hayley Bieber
- 2:11Speaker 1: has been in Sydney promoting the launch of her skincare brand, Road,
- 2:15Speaker 1: into Mecca in Australia. Late last week, the A-lister held
- 2:18Speaker 1: an influencer event to celebrate the launch, which has dominated
- 2:22Speaker 1: news feeds, but for an unexpected reason. It turns out
- 2:26Speaker 1: the influencer guest list has ruffled some feathers, particularly of
- 2:29Speaker 1: those creators who weren't invited.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Kate, can you tell us more?
- 2:32Speaker 1: Well, the content creators who didn't make the invite list
- 2:35Speaker 1: aren't happy and I can kind of see why. My
- 2:38Speaker 1: TikTok has been absolutely flooded by this event, but everything
- 2:41Speaker 1: just looks the same except it's uploaded by a different influencer.
- 2:45Speaker 1: So most of the videos start with this shot of
- 2:47Speaker 1: Hailey Bieber arriving at the event and she looks like
- 2:50Speaker 1: she'd rather be anywhere else but there. And as she
- 2:53Speaker 1: wades through this sea of white, thin, young influencers, she
- 2:57Speaker 1: does this little double wave. Have you guys seen it?
- 2:59Speaker 1: It's so funny. I didn't pick up on the vibe
- 3:01Speaker 1: that she didn't want to be there though. I think
- 3:03Speaker 1: she sort of looks a little bit shy and a
- 3:04Speaker 1: bit like timid, like.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Oh, hi everyone.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I saw some people commenting on TikTok saying, did she
- 3:09Speaker 1: just pretend to chew chewing gum?
- 3:11Speaker 2: As soon as she.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Entered the room, she did this bit of a chew
- 3:14Speaker 1: and Other people were saying she's really nervous. Like that
- 3:17Speaker 1: is something like she's trying to mask her nerves. Okay.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It could have been a mix of nerves, but there
- 3:21Speaker 1: is a shot of her before she actually enters the venue.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And it's kind of like, oh God, do I really
- 3:26Speaker 1: have to go in? Because I don't blame her. Literally
- 3:29Speaker 1: everyone was just pointing their phones at her, recording her
- 3:32Speaker 1: every movement. The room looked very intimidating and I don't
- 3:35Speaker 1: want to shit on the people that were there because
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm sure they're lovely, but From an outside perspective, it
- 3:39Speaker 1: almost looked like you were back at high school and
- 3:42Speaker 1: it was a room full of popular people and you
- 3:44Speaker 1: were just waiting to be bullied. Well, someone said it
- 3:46Speaker 1: looked like a cook-eye staff party, which.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Made me laugh.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And I think everyone's a bit disappointed because in addition
- 3:52Speaker 1: to this shot of Hayley Bieber that was in every video,
- 3:56Speaker 1: all the other videos also featured the road bakery. So
- 3:58Speaker 1: it was like slow-mo shots of this pop-up bakery. And
- 4:01Speaker 1: there was this pile of waffles that was literally in
- 4:04Speaker 1: every real there were berries and these purple wellness shots
- 4:08Speaker 1: with road branded ice cubes. It looked very cute, but
- 4:11Speaker 1: it's like, Is that all you can come up with
- 4:14Speaker 1: for this event? Like where's the creativity? From being in
- 4:17Speaker 1: PR and being around these types of events, I think
- 4:20Speaker 1: that a lot of the influencers there would have just
- 4:22Speaker 1: been so starstruck that Hailey Bieber was in their orbit
- 4:25Speaker 1: and sort of thought, well, I've got the invite anyway.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'm not really going to go above and beyond to
- 4:30Speaker 1: create a really out there video that's really creative. I
- 4:33Speaker 1: think that would have just been like, oh, look, it's
- 4:34Speaker 1: good enough to just film whatever's here. Yeah, but it's
- 4:36Speaker 1: not really good enough. Like if you're getting an invite
- 4:39Speaker 1: to this type of event, which a lot of people
- 4:41Speaker 1: wanted to go to, you You've really got to do
- 4:43Speaker 1: better than just a slow-mo montage of stuff that happened
- 4:46Speaker 1: in it. The only video that really stood out to
- 4:48Speaker 1: me was the one Jackie Alexander uploaded. And that was
- 4:50Speaker 1: because Hailey Bieber noticed her. So she was filming when
- 4:55Speaker 1: Hailey Bieber waded through the crowd. And Hailey walks past her,
- 4:59Speaker 1: grabs onto her arm and says, I love your content. Yeah,
- 5:03Speaker 1: that one popped up for me too. And I was like,
- 5:05Speaker 1: oh my God, Jackie Alexander must have just died in
- 5:07Speaker 1: that moment. And I think the reason that Hayley said
- 5:10Speaker 1: it is probably because she does watch her videos, but
- 5:13Speaker 1: also because she probably wanted to make it look as
- 5:15Speaker 1: though she had hand selected the creators that were there,
- 5:18Speaker 1: which has turned out to actually be a bad thing
- 5:20Speaker 1: because of the lack of diversity.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Let's be honest though, she wouldn't have had anything to
- 5:24Speaker 2: do with the guest list.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I actually thought that she looked so intimidated in that
- 5:28Speaker 1: space that she almost saw a friendly face in Jackie
- 5:32Speaker 1: and was like, oh, hello. Yeah, she was searching for
- 5:35Speaker 1: a familiar face. In terms of the backlash, it actually
- 5:38Speaker 1: started before the event. So content creator Georgia Dale wasn't
- 5:42Speaker 1: happy from the get-go. So those not familiar with her,
- 5:45Speaker 1: she has over 62,000 followers on TikTok and she shares
- 5:49Speaker 1: makeup tutorials and Kmart hauls. Now, prior to the road event,
- 5:52Speaker 1: she said this.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I'm really trying not to be a hater here, but
- 5:57Speaker 4: I already know who's going to these road events because
- 5:59Speaker 4: you've gone to every other event this year and last
- 6:02Speaker 4: year and the year before.
- 6:03Speaker 2: What I'm trying to say is I'm a little bit bored.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Like, girl, I already know you're gonna go meet Hailey
- 6:07Speaker 4: Bieber and Margot Robbie and Jacob Lowry and like, I
- 6:10Speaker 4: already know who's going. It's the same people that go
- 6:13Speaker 4: to every event. And oh my God, call me a hater.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I'm like, yes, I wish I was there. I recognize
- 6:18Speaker 4: that in myself. I would love to be doing what
- 6:20Speaker 4: you're doing. As someone that views this content, I'm really bored.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Everyone looks amazing. The outfits look good. I'm going to
- 6:25Speaker 4: get a little transition moment, a little Hailey Bieber.
- 6:27Speaker 3: You look great.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Like can't wait to see the content. It's also just
- 6:29Speaker 2: a little bit predictable.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Well, we were kind of joking that these girls looked
- 6:35Speaker 1: like your high school bullies. Maybe that's what it is
- 6:38Speaker 1: as well, that we're sort of sick of these popular
- 6:40Speaker 1: type people being only being invited to the cool events.
- 6:43Speaker 1: We actually, as consumers, want to see influencers that also
- 6:46Speaker 1: represent us. And I don't really think there's much of
- 6:48Speaker 1: an excuse because the influencer industry is so vast now.
- 6:52Speaker 2: It's oversaturated.
- 6:53Speaker 1: We've got so many great smaller creators that would have
- 6:55Speaker 1: actually jumped at the chance of going and actually put
- 6:58Speaker 1: out something that their consumers would have got more out
- 7:00Speaker 1: of than just seeing a montage of a pretty event. Yeah,
- 7:03Speaker 1: it's not 2016 anymore when we've only got a couple
- 7:06Speaker 1: of big influencers. We are absolutely at saturation point. And
- 7:09Speaker 1: it seems like brand agencies are just resting on their
- 7:12Speaker 1: laurels and inviting the same people every time because maybe
- 7:14Speaker 1: they can't be bothered to come up with another invite list.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Was anyone else surprised that the Shameless Girls weren't there?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Because they have had a longstanding partnership with Mecca. I
- 7:23Speaker 1: think that they would have brought something creative to the event. Well,
- 7:27Speaker 1: talking about podcasters, Lucy Jackson from Happy Hour actually commented
- 7:31Speaker 1: on Georgia's video and she wrote, I think they should
- 7:34Speaker 1: get us to interview Hailey Bieber and ask a hard hitter.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Writer and creator Elyria Potter also added, always the same
- 7:40Speaker 1: and always zero diversity. And these two women were left
- 7:43Speaker 1: off the invite list, which I think is a bad move.
- 7:46Speaker 2: They would have added a lot to it.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Well, I kind of am sensing a bit of a
- 7:49Speaker 1: theme here. It Jade Tunchi was another influencer who was
- 7:57Speaker 1: unhappy she was left off the invite list. So despite
- 8:00Speaker 1: having 548,000 followers on Instagram and 513,000 on TikTok, she
- 8:06Speaker 1: didn't make the cut. And last year, it was quite
- 8:09Speaker 1: interesting because she opened up about how since she's become
- 8:11Speaker 1: a mother, she hasn't been invited to a lot of
- 8:14Speaker 1: these events that she previously would have. And she's also
- 8:17Speaker 1: spoken about losing a lot of brand deals. And prior
- 8:20Speaker 1: to becoming a mom, she was one of Australia's biggest
- 8:23Speaker 1: fashion influencers in She consistently worked with brands like Prada, Gucci,
- 8:27Speaker 1: Louis Vuitton. Let's take a listen to what she said.
- 8:31Speaker 6: I want to know, okay, think about it, why more
- 8:34Speaker 6: mummies aren't being invited to the cool person.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Things, right?
- 8:40Speaker 6: Because listen, we have money to spend, okay? Because we're
- 8:46Speaker 6: not doing much and we're sitting at home and we're
- 8:49Speaker 6: on our phones and we're online shopping and we're doing.
- 8:52Speaker 1: A lot of that.
- 8:53Speaker 6: And not only that, but sometimes we want a little,
- 8:56Speaker 6: you know, treat to make ourselves feel good, right? And
- 8:59Speaker 6: also we're very, we can be very influential. I trust
- 9:03Speaker 6: lots of mothers now with their opinions. Word of mouth
- 9:05Speaker 6: is very important. And as soon as a mom says
- 9:07Speaker 6: this is good, I'm like, yes, thank you, Add to Cart.
- 9:10Speaker 6: I don't have to go looking for the thing that
- 9:12Speaker 6: you just recommended to me. So think about everyone loves
- 9:16Speaker 6: Desperate Housewives. Everyone loves Terrence Mums.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Everyone loves Terrence.
- 9:23Speaker 6: That Mormon show with the.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Mums in it.
- 9:26Speaker 1: The ironic thing is Hayley Bieber is also a mum,
- 9:29Speaker 1: which I sometimes forget. She has a son called Jack Blue. Kate,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you started that trend, yeah. Well, it's funny because Jade
- 9:36Speaker 1: actually said, look, I think I'd have more to chat
- 9:38Speaker 1: about to Hayley Bieber because we are both mums. Their
- 9:40Speaker 1: kids are a similar age. Also, Jade's 30, Hayley Bieber's 29.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It's funny because I cracked up when I saw Rani
- 9:47Speaker 1: Bransbury's video. So she was there at the event. And
- 9:51Speaker 1: she said she never thought she would talk to Hailey
- 9:53Speaker 1: Bieber about jet lag. So she was one of the
- 9:56Speaker 1: influencers who actually managed to talk to her and she
- 9:59Speaker 1: had her first positioned to record the conversation from beneath
- 10:03Speaker 1: and she shared herself being like oh so how how's
- 10:07Speaker 1: the jet lag how are you going it just seemed
- 10:09Speaker 1: like the most boring conversation. She paid herself out about it. Look,
- 10:12Speaker 1: no shade to Rani Bransby, but I didn't think that
- 10:14Speaker 1: she was a very relevant influencer anymore. I mean, the
- 10:17Speaker 1: last time I heard about her was when she was
- 10:19Speaker 1: on a US trip with Michael Finch and Shiny Grimman
- 10:22Speaker 1: and that gang back in what, 2018? Well, I think
- 10:24Speaker 1: it's because she's a part of Jackie Alexander's group of friends.
- 10:27Speaker 1: And that's what a lot of people were saying. People
- 10:30Speaker 1: were saying, well, the only way to get an invite
- 10:32Speaker 1: to these events is if you are on the brand
- 10:35Speaker 1: agency's radar in terms of you're managed by them. or
- 10:39Speaker 1: you're a part of an influencer clique. And I could
- 10:42Speaker 1: see that because it does seem like the same influencers
- 10:45Speaker 1: are getting invited to all of the same events. So
- 10:48Speaker 1: all of the people we saw at the AO, they
- 10:50Speaker 1: were at this event. They also then were at the
- 10:52Speaker 1: Wuthering Heights premiere. And I'm pretty sure we're going to
- 10:55Speaker 1: see them at the Grand Prix. I think the worst
- 10:57Speaker 1: thing for Rode and Hailey Bieber is the fact that
- 11:00Speaker 1: for years, Hailey Bieber has been battling this sort of
- 11:03Speaker 1: mean girl persona that has been created about her online.
- 11:07Speaker 2: And this sort of just feeds into it.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it was giving off that energy. And one TikToker
- 11:12Speaker 1: called CallMeSammy, she was completely over it. She said that
- 11:16Speaker 1: she found the event hard to watch. Let's take a
- 11:18Speaker 1: listen to what she particularly had a problem with.
- 11:22Speaker 3: There's like pictures of them on the makeup website and
- 11:24Speaker 3: they're all like, and they're all like doing the fake laugh.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Do the fake laugh in a photo.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So we don't know that it's fake.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So off the back of this clip going a little
- 11:39Speaker 1: bit viral on TikTok, Jackie Alexander and Sofa Dofa hit
- 11:43Speaker 1: back posting their own TikTok. So they were of course
- 11:46Speaker 1: invited to live golf over the weekend in Adelaide and
- 11:49Speaker 1: they shared a video of themselves fake laughing with the caption,
- 11:53Speaker 1: influencers fake laughing is so insufferable. These fake influencer laughing
- 11:57Speaker 1: photos and videos bring me back to 2016 when I
- 12:00Speaker 1: was working at an influencer slash event sort of agency
- 12:04Speaker 1: and all us girls working there would take all of
- 12:06Speaker 1: these photos. And I thought they were quite cringe to
- 12:09Speaker 1: look back at now, but maybe it's back in fashion.
- 12:11Speaker 7: Who knows?
- 12:11Speaker 2: They were insufferable at the time and they still are now.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Well, Jackie's video didn't land, I think, the way she
- 12:18Speaker 1: thought it would. Someone wrote, I thought the videos were
- 12:20Speaker 1: about there being a lack of diversity. And she wrote, no,
- 12:23Speaker 1: this has nothing to do with those videos. And then
- 12:25Speaker 1: the person replied, out of all the critiques, both valid
- 12:28Speaker 1: and vapid, you decided the vapid one requires airtime. To
- 12:31Speaker 1: which Jackie responded, Not true if you used your eyes
- 12:35Speaker 1: and braids. Now, I do have to point out there
- 12:37Speaker 1: was some slight diversity. There were a couple of Asian
- 12:40Speaker 1: and black creators at the event, but it was majority
- 12:44Speaker 1: white skinny influencers. I mean, you just had to look
- 12:47Speaker 1: at the vision from the event to see that, which
- 12:49Speaker 1: to point out wasn't actually the fault of the influencers
- 12:52Speaker 1: who were in attendance, because when you get invited to
- 12:54Speaker 1: something like this, It's not like you get given the
- 12:57Speaker 1: guest list. And also, I mean, with Jackie Alexander's video,
- 13:01Speaker 1: I think she was actually trying to take the piss
- 13:03Speaker 1: out of herself in that instance. Look, I'm a big
- 13:05Speaker 1: fan of Jackie Alexander. And if someone has to fly
- 13:07Speaker 1: the over 30s flag, I want it to be her. Yeah, well,
- 13:10Speaker 1: I feel like she was one of the only influencers
- 13:12Speaker 1: that created interesting content from the event. And I do agree.
- 13:15Speaker 1: It's the brand agencies who have planned this event and
- 13:18Speaker 1: put the invite list forward that are to blame. And
- 13:20Speaker 1: I actually think it would be beneficial to them to
- 13:22Speaker 1: actually cast their net out wider and start inviting some
- 13:25Speaker 1: smaller creators Because often those creators have more of an
- 13:29Speaker 1: influence than the bigger ones. I think this really shows
- 13:31Speaker 1: that we as consumers also need to take some responsibility
- 13:34Speaker 1: and start following more diverse influences, more smaller creators. So
- 13:38Speaker 1: they then get the opportunities when events like this come around.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I think some people will say, well, hang on, Rode
- 13:43Speaker 1: was clearly trying to target a Gen Z market. So
- 13:46Speaker 1: they did that by inviting all of these influences. But
- 13:49Speaker 1: if you've got an invite list of 200 people, why
- 13:53Speaker 1: would you just hit the same demographic with those 200 people?
- 13:56Speaker 1: Why not diversify it? And as Jade said, invite some
- 14:00Speaker 1: of the influencers who appeal to mums. They've got money.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Invite diverse people. You know, it doesn't make sense to
- 14:05Speaker 1: invite all of the same people that have the same
- 14:08Speaker 1: audience crossover.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I actually do have a Valentine.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Tammy Hembrough debuted her new band at the Sydney premiere
- 14:17Speaker 1: of Wuthering Heights on Thursday night. On the red carpet,
- 14:20Speaker 1: the new couple packed on the PDA in front of
- 14:23Speaker 1: the camera's including a bum grab. Now you've got to
- 14:26Speaker 1: give it to Tammy because she even managed to steal
- 14:28Speaker 1: the spotlight away from Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I saw this everywhere on Thursday night. It was crazy.
- 14:35Speaker 1: The Daily Telegraph picked up on it. We shared a
- 14:37Speaker 1: couple of reels that went absolutely viral. Now the new
- 14:41Speaker 1: man in question is a guy called Grayson Tomoana and
- 14:45Speaker 1: he is a 22-year-old Sydney-based model and aspiring actor. He
- 14:49Speaker 1: has a very modest social media following of only 2.8
- 14:52Speaker 1: thousand on Instagram and 1.2 thousand on TikTok, which is
- 14:57Speaker 1: minuscule in comparison to Tammy Hembrough's 16.8 million followers.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 1: We need to talk about the age gap because it
- 15:03Speaker 1: has been a hot topic online. So Tammy is set
- 15:06Speaker 1: to turn 32 in April this year, while Grayson is 22.
- 15:11Speaker 1: People did the math pretty quickly and worked out that
- 15:14Speaker 1: Grayson was 12 when Tammy's eldest son, Wolf, was born.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Do you think it was fair? that people were picking
- 15:20Speaker 1: up on the age? If it was a man, would
- 15:22Speaker 1: we have been doing the math as much? No one
- 15:24Speaker 1: seemed to care when her ex-husband, Matt Sikowski, was dating
- 15:27Speaker 1: a woman in her early 20s at all.
- 15:30Speaker 2: That was just thought of as being the norm.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Maybe I'm extra sensitive about this because my husband is,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I say four and a half, you guys say five
- 15:37Speaker 1: years younger than me. And I just think there's a
- 15:39Speaker 1: total hypocrisy when it comes to women dating younger men.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Look, it might be.
- 15:43Speaker 1: My internalised misogyny, but I was shocked at the age difference.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And I think it really came down to the fact
- 15:48Speaker 1: that Tammy has three kids. And, you know, as you said,
- 15:51Speaker 1: Wolf is 10 years old. There's only a 12 year
- 15:53Speaker 1: age gap there. I think when you look at a
- 15:55Speaker 1: 22 year old guy, you think, is he really in
- 15:58Speaker 1: this to be a stepdad to these kids? I mean,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm guessing he's just a bit of fun for the moment,
- 16:03Speaker 1: but I was shocked. I think a lot of people
- 16:05Speaker 1: were shocked. Why debut him on the red carpet if
- 16:08Speaker 1: he is a bit of fun? I think that that's
- 16:09Speaker 1: where my mind goes. For the attention. Well, I think
- 16:12Speaker 1: in terms of the age, in this situation, it comes
- 16:15Speaker 1: more down to life stages rather than the actual age.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Because I think if Tammy didn't have kids and hadn't
- 16:21Speaker 1: been married and had a couple of engagements, then people
- 16:24Speaker 1: wouldn't really care. But it's the fact that, you know,
- 16:26Speaker 1: she's put it out there that she's going to be
- 16:28Speaker 1: a lot more careful moving forward and dating someone. And
- 16:31Speaker 1: then it just seems like she's making the same mistakes
- 16:33Speaker 1: all over again.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It's so true.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Cause I think we've spoken about this before on the podcast.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Someone said someone who's 35 and single with no kids
- 16:40Speaker 1: is younger than someone who's 27 married with three children.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I think the thing with Tammy as well is that
- 16:45Speaker 1: we've all been on board of all these new relationships
- 16:47Speaker 1: and it kind of just seems like another train wreck
- 16:49Speaker 1: that's just about to happen. And you can't help but think, fuck, like,
- 16:53Speaker 1: you know, you need to be a bit more careful
- 16:55Speaker 1: when you're selecting who to date. Maybe a 22-year-old model
- 16:58Speaker 1: isn't the best option.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Well, in terms of the timeline of this relationship, Grayson
- 17:03Speaker 1: was actually asked on the red carpet about when he
- 17:06Speaker 1: started dating Tammy, and he said it had been going
- 17:08Speaker 1: on for, quote, some time. According to the trail of
- 17:13Speaker 1: breadcrumbs that the couple and their friends have dropped on
- 17:15Speaker 1: social media, it appears that they actually first met at
- 17:19Speaker 1: a Showpo event back in late November. So, It seems
- 17:22Speaker 1: likely that Grayson was a plus one of his influencer friend,
- 17:26Speaker 1: Brayden Dunbar, who ended up posting a video of him
- 17:29Speaker 1: doing shots alongside Tammy and Grayson. Now, this was the
- 17:32Speaker 1: night that Tammy shared the mystery bicep on her TikTok.
- 17:37Speaker 1: And a lot of people wondered if the arm belonged
- 17:39Speaker 1: to the big boss at her management company because he
- 17:42Speaker 1: had been photographed with his arm around her outside the
- 17:45Speaker 1: event that night. Then it seemed like Bailey Smith took
- 17:48Speaker 1: credit for it in that Tinder ad. So everyone's like, oh,
- 17:51Speaker 1: he must have been it. However, we have had confirmation
- 17:53Speaker 1: in our DMs that the true owner of the bicep
- 17:56Speaker 1: is Grace. And in fact, he even reshared Tammy's post
- 17:59Speaker 1: at the time. These influencer events seem to really push
- 18:03Speaker 1: the two closer together because They then reunited at another
- 18:06Speaker 1: brand event in mid-January.
- 18:08Speaker 2: This time it was at Runway, the label's yacht party.
- 18:10Speaker 1: And Grayson's influencer friend Brayden documented their time on the yacht.
- 18:14Speaker 1: It's pretty wild because I was looking back at the
- 18:16Speaker 1: content Tammy shared from this event, seeing if I could
- 18:18Speaker 1: spot Grayson in it. And he actually appears for a
- 18:21Speaker 1: couple of seconds in her reel. They're actually standing next
- 18:25Speaker 1: to each other. I mean, blink and you would have
- 18:27Speaker 1: missed it. But when you watch it on slow-mo, he's
- 18:29Speaker 1: definitely there. The timing was so interesting because the day
- 18:33Speaker 1: of the premiere... An interview with Tammy on her sister
- 18:36Speaker 1: Emily's podcast dropped. So I listened to that as soon
- 18:39Speaker 1: as it came out. And in it, Tammy was speaking
- 18:42Speaker 1: about having a Valentine. And in the interview, she said
- 18:45Speaker 1: she was single and wasn't doing anything for Valentine's Day
- 18:48Speaker 1: because she was away for an event, which ended up
- 18:50Speaker 1: being Live Golf.
- 18:52Speaker 2: But in the next breath, she said this.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Well, I'm the single one.
- 18:56Speaker 2: You guys have a partner. I don't get that.
- 18:59Speaker 4: I don't have a partner to help me.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Like, guys, but speaking of Valentine's Day, I actually do
- 19:05Speaker 2: have a Valentine's Day. Oh, my God. Spill the tea.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I'm not telling anyone anything, especially you two.
- 19:11Speaker 1: What?
- 19:11Speaker 2: I think I saw his name on your phone.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Amy.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Shut your mouth right now.
- 19:17Speaker 1: When you were doing my makeup and your messages came up.
- 19:21Speaker 2: It's just, like, nothing, though. It's just my Valentine's.
- 19:24Speaker 7: But I still think that's fun to just even have
- 19:28Speaker 7: someone to, like, you know, receive some flowers from or
- 19:32Speaker 7: like a cute little card. Amy, when you saw the name,
- 19:35Speaker 7: would I know it?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Yes or no? I didn't know it. Okay. But, yeah,
- 19:40Speaker 2: I try to stay out of that stuff, which is
- 19:42Speaker 2: why I didn't say anything.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Oh, trust me, girl.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I'm not trying to involve you in anything. I'm not
- 19:46Speaker 2: telling anyone anything into my life ever again. So like us.
- 19:49Speaker 2: you're not telling us or you're not telling anyone? Literally
- 19:52Speaker 2: no one.
- 19:53Speaker 7: Not even friends?
- 19:55Speaker 5: You know what?
- 19:56Speaker 2: Pat knows, my manager. He's the only person ever that
- 20:00Speaker 2: I'm telling anything to.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I wonder if Grayson was spewing that he didn't get
- 20:04Speaker 1: an invite to live golf with Tammy.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Well, the papers are already labeling him fame hungry.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Well, I can see how they have drawn that conclusion.
- 20:11Speaker 1: In terms of this podcast interview, it was so weird
- 20:14Speaker 1: because in it, Tammy was saying, oh, I'm not going
- 20:16Speaker 1: to tell anyone anything about this relationship. And then the
- 20:19Speaker 1: day the interview drops, she's then on the red carpet
- 20:22Speaker 1: with him like, was this all a quick turnaround in
- 20:24Speaker 1: terms of saying, oh, I'm actually going to hard launch him?
- 20:28Speaker 1: What happened? And then once the article started popping up
- 20:30Speaker 1: that night about Grace, and I noticed that Emily re-shared
- 20:34Speaker 1: a clip from her podcast where Tammy said, oh, I've.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Got a Valentine. So it seemed like they were all
- 20:38Speaker 2: trying to jump on the train of the big reveal.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 1: But what doesn't make sense is in that interview, she said, oh,
- 20:43Speaker 1: I'm not going to share who it is. And then
- 20:45Speaker 1: she does. So it's like, It doesn't really make sense.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I think something's obviously happened. But even the fact that
- 20:51Speaker 1: they shared a kiss on the red carpet, like it
- 20:53Speaker 1: was all incredibly attention seeking. To me, it's clear she's
- 20:56Speaker 1: just trying to steal the attention back from Matt Sikowsky,
- 20:58Speaker 1: who's got a really good edit on I'm a Celeb.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Or potentially she's trying to distract from something else that
- 21:04Speaker 1: may be coming out about her soon. We have learned
- 21:07Speaker 1: throughout the years that this is a huge tactic of hers. Well,
- 21:10Speaker 1: talking about Matt Sikowsky, she actually threw shade at him
- 21:13Speaker 1: on the podcast episode with Emily. So When she was
- 21:16Speaker 1: asked to share her best or worst Valentine's Day story,
- 21:19Speaker 1: she said this.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Can you think of your worst? My worst was probably
- 21:25Speaker 2: last year. And that's all I'm going to say about that.
- 21:28Speaker 2: What was last year? Oh no, the year before?
- 21:31Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:32Speaker 7: Whenever I was lost in a relationship. What was that?
- 21:38Speaker 2: I'm trying to remember.
- 21:40Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Let's just, let's move on.
- 21:42Speaker 5: Amy?
- 21:43Speaker 3: Amy?
- 21:44Speaker 1: I remember seeing a photo of what Matt Zukowski got
- 21:47Speaker 1: Tammy Hembrough for Valentine's Day two years ago.
- 21:49Speaker 2: And you could just tell it's not what she wanted.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It was like a jelly cat toy chili.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And it was like their vows that were laminated.
- 21:56Speaker 2: But really, I'm guessing Tammy would have wanted a big
- 21:59Speaker 2: bunch of roses. Well, they work better on the gram,
- 22:01Speaker 2: don't they?
- 22:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but Matt Zukowski was always known for the petrol
- 22:04Speaker 1: station flower or the Woolies flower. So what was she expecting?
- 22:06Speaker 1: She knew going into it. Which is actually kind of
- 22:09Speaker 1: sweet now that you reflect on it. Sometimes it's a
- 22:11Speaker 1: bit much when you see those influencers getting those obnoxiously
- 22:14Speaker 1: large roses and you're.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Like, are these people in the real world? Like, yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 2: it's usually the people that are fighting the most.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Well, in terms of Tammy's new relationship, it hasn't taken
- 22:23Speaker 1: long for it to be rocked by cheating allegations. So
- 22:26Speaker 1: the day after the movie premiere, Grayson's ex-girlfriend's sister and
- 22:30Speaker 1: friends came out swinging on TikTok. So one friend wrote,
- 22:34Speaker 1: imagine you find out your 22-year-old boyfriend was cheating on
- 22:37Speaker 1: you with an extremely well-known influencer, a 31-year-old mum of
- 22:41Speaker 1: three kids. So you kick him out after he's lived
- 22:44Speaker 1: with you for eight months, despite him denying the allegations.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Just two days later, you're scrolling TikTok and you see
- 22:50Speaker 1: him now being hard-launched on the red carpet. That poor
- 22:53Speaker 1: girl having such a betrayal rubbed in her face so publicly.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Disgusting behaviour from the both of them. As for Grayson's
- 23:01Speaker 1: ex-girlfriend's sisters... They took it a step further. So under
- 23:05Speaker 1: a video of Tammy and Grayson at the premiere, one
- 23:08Speaker 1: sister shared a photo of what appeared to be Tammy
- 23:11Speaker 1: and Grayson cuddling in bed with the caption, he cheated
- 23:14Speaker 1: on my sister and these videos is how she found out.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Here is a photo of them not that long ago.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Now another sister added, Grayson Timoana, a man of mystery, dot, dot, dot.
- 23:26Speaker 1: The 22-year-old keeps his girlfriend off his socials and reckons
- 23:29Speaker 1: maturing is realizing connections can take you further than education
- 23:33Speaker 1: ever can. So he decides to shack up with an
- 23:36Speaker 1: influencer while still with his girlfriend, then proceeds to lie
- 23:40Speaker 1: and manipulate her into thinking she's the one in the
- 23:43Speaker 1: wrong and that he didn't tell her things because she
- 23:45Speaker 1: would overreact. Proceeds to call her the C word, and
- 23:49Speaker 1: while she's left home crying while on the phone to
- 23:52Speaker 1: me for support, only a few short days later, he's
- 23:55Speaker 1: out on the red carpet necking and touching up Tammy,
- 23:58Speaker 1: trying to gain clout. Thanks from said girlfriend's sister. In
- 24:03Speaker 1: terms of the quote that one of the sisters referenced saying,
- 24:06Speaker 1: maturing is realizing connections take you further than education can ever.
- 24:10Speaker 1: That was actually a caption on one of Grayson's recent
- 24:14Speaker 1: TikTok videos. What the fuck? I love the reaction from
- 24:17Speaker 1: the sisters. It's pretty iconic. I think that this is
- 24:19Speaker 1: something that we would do for one another if one
- 24:22Speaker 1: of us got fucked over by a guy. Grayson's actually
- 24:25Speaker 1: come out and denied the cheating allegations. So the Daily
- 24:27Speaker 1: Mail are running with it as an exclusive. He's given
- 24:30Speaker 1: them a comment which says, just to clear things up,
- 24:32Speaker 1: the narrative being shared about me online isn't accurate. I
- 24:36Speaker 1: haven't been in a relationship of any kind for over
- 24:38Speaker 1: three years. The claims circulating are simply false.
- 24:42Speaker 2: We don't believe you, Grayson. Why do we not believe you?
- 24:45Speaker 1: Which, have you seen the photos of him with the girlfriend? Like,
- 24:49Speaker 1: from Christmas Day, like, they're putting the Christmas tree up together. Like, what?
- 24:53Speaker 1: This isn't a good sign for Tammy going forward, if
- 24:56Speaker 1: he is able to just lie like that. No, and
- 24:59Speaker 1: I think that the sisters confirm what we're all thinking
- 25:01Speaker 1: about Grayson being a clout chaser. I mean, it was
- 25:03Speaker 1: clear the moment I saw that his influencer friend was
- 25:05Speaker 1: tagging him under all the videos that he appeared on
- 25:08Speaker 1: from the launch. So even Influencer Updates AU, he put
- 25:11Speaker 1: Grayson Timoana, like, I saw under the Daily Telegraph, one
- 25:15Speaker 1: of his friends tagged him and wrote, killing it, Grayson.
- 25:17Speaker 1: He hasn't even got that many more followers because I
- 25:19Speaker 1: think he was sitting at like close to 3,000.
- 25:22Speaker 2: It's only just clocked over to 3,000.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I want to know what does Emily and Amy think
- 25:26Speaker 1: about Grayson because they were very open in their views
- 25:30Speaker 1: around Matt. Maybe they need to get Grayson on their podcast. Well,
- 25:33Speaker 1: in Amy's podcast, when they were chatting to Tammy, they
- 25:35Speaker 1: did say that the name that was popping up was
- 25:37Speaker 1: one that they didn't recognise at all, referring that he's
- 25:39Speaker 1: not famous. I don't think that they'd be thrilled by
- 25:42Speaker 1: the fact that it's this 22-year-old wannabe content creator, part-time model. Yeah,
- 25:47Speaker 1: I mean, it's crystal clear he wants to increase his profile.
- 25:49Speaker 1: But as you said, Amy, I don't think it's going
- 25:51Speaker 1: to happen. Matt Zukowski barely got any new followers once
- 25:54Speaker 1: he started dating Tammy.
- 25:55Speaker 2: If anything, people just liked him after dating her.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Did anyone else get the ultimate ick when they
- 26:00Speaker 1: went through Grayson's Instagram? Like, I usually love following people's boyfriends, particularly.
- 26:05Speaker 2: With the job that we.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Have because I'm like, oh, maybe we'll see something interesting.
- 26:08Speaker 2: You didn't follow, did you? No, I couldn't bring.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Myself to follow him because his little photo shoots, I
- 26:13Speaker 1: was like, oh, I just don't even want to look
- 26:15Speaker 1: at this. It's clear that he's pissed off that he's
- 26:17Speaker 1: not getting any followers because Tammy didn't end up sharing
- 26:20Speaker 1: any of the photos of them from the premiere. She
- 26:23Speaker 1: just posted pictures of herself and he commented under them, fire. Ew.
- 26:27Speaker 1: The night of the Wuthering Heights premiere was actually wild
- 26:30Speaker 1: because if the photos of Grayson squeezing Tammy Hembrough's ass
- 26:34Speaker 1: on the red carpet weren't enough, panic stations reached an
- 26:38Speaker 1: all-time high when this clip of Tammy in Amy, her
- 26:41Speaker 1: sister's TikTok, resurfaced. So in a video posted three days earlier,
- 26:46Speaker 1: Tammy is heard saying this in the background. Now, when
- 26:54Speaker 1: I heard this, I personally thought Tammy said, I think
- 26:57Speaker 1: I may be pregnant. And that is what the captions
- 27:01Speaker 1: of the video said. So Amy, her sister left the
- 27:03Speaker 1: caption saying, I think I may be pregnant. You can
- 27:06Speaker 1: actually edit that. I mean, I don't know why the
- 27:07Speaker 1: whole clip wasn't edited out to begin with. I listened
- 27:10Speaker 1: so many times and I could only hear her say,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I think I may be pregnant as well. There were
- 27:15Speaker 1: a couple of comments on Amy's video saying, oh my God,
- 27:17Speaker 1: did Tammy just say that?
- 27:18Speaker 2: So there were other people who agreed with that sentiment
- 27:21Speaker 2: as well.
- 27:21Speaker 1: We ended up sharing the clip on our Instagram and
- 27:24Speaker 1: Tammy actually commented underneath it, confirming that she was talking
- 27:28Speaker 1: about her sister, Amy, and confirming that she is not pregnant.
- 27:31Speaker 2: She said, I said, Amy's pregnant.
- 27:33Speaker 7: Lol.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Then followed up with, which she's not.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I still don't get why the clip featured in the video,
- 27:38Speaker 1: even if she said she thought Amy was pregnant. Like,
- 27:39Speaker 1: surely that would be something you'd cut out. To me,
- 27:42Speaker 1: it definitely seemed like it was purposely kept in there
- 27:44Speaker 1: for engagement and as some sort of distraction technique.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I mean... This premiere just gave and gave because then
- 27:51Speaker 1: a clip of Tammy being interviewed on the red carpet
- 27:54Speaker 1: by a pedestrian also went viral. So she was asked
- 27:58Speaker 1: about her ex-husband Matt Sikowsky's appearance on I'm a Celeb.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And this is what she said. I don't watch it.
- 28:05Speaker 7: So, I mean, I've been sent a few clips and
- 28:10Speaker 7: I mean....
- 28:12Speaker 1: What clips?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Can you tell us which clips you've seen?
- 28:14Speaker 1: I mean, it has been a bit of tears that
- 28:17Speaker 1: I've seen.
- 28:18Speaker 5: And.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I cry all the time, so it's okay.
- 28:21Speaker 7: Like, I don't know.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I don't really watch him though. I don't watch any
- 28:24Speaker 1: of that.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yeah, fair enough.
- 28:27Speaker 1: For those who haven't seen the clip, Pedestrian zoomed up
- 28:29Speaker 1: on her face when she was giggling as well, which
- 28:32Speaker 1: really sort of emphasised that it.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Looked like she was poking fun at Matt.
- 28:35Speaker 1: We actually had a lot of people messaging us to
- 28:37Speaker 1: talk about Tammy's appearance in the video because there were
- 28:40Speaker 1: a lot of negative comments saying, oh, is this what
- 28:42Speaker 1: she looks like without filters on? We saw similar commentary
- 28:46Speaker 1: on the Tinder video. I do feel bad even touching
- 28:49Speaker 1: upon this because she's clearly a beautiful woman with or
- 28:53Speaker 1: without filters on. But it is really interesting when you
- 28:57Speaker 1: do see influencers appearing in content that they don't have
- 29:00Speaker 1: control over themselves. And I actually love seeing people's imperfections
- 29:06Speaker 1: and the fact that they actually look human rather than
- 29:08Speaker 1: some blurred anime character.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Look, I actually think the lighting did her dirty.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I don't think it was a true indication of what
- 29:14Speaker 1: she actually looks like because I saw Margot Robbie also
- 29:18Speaker 1: interviewed in a similar spot. And I mean, Margot Robbie
- 29:21Speaker 1: is an absolute goddess. And even the lighting was a
- 29:24Speaker 1: slightly unflattering to her. I mean, I don't think it
- 29:26Speaker 1: was the same level as poor Tammy's lighting, but yeah,
- 29:30Speaker 1: I think lighting can definitely do a lot for you.
- 29:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:32Speaker 1: It was interesting because as we mentioned, Tammy Hembrough was
- 29:35Speaker 1: in Adelaide at Live Golf and my wedding photographer, and
- 29:39Speaker 1: also the photographer who did our, the mum's group photo shoot,
- 29:43Speaker 1: shout out to Megan Cole. She's incredible. She was shooting
- 29:46Speaker 1: at the event and she took a couple of photos
- 29:48Speaker 1: of Tammy that Tammy ended up resharing and she looked
- 29:51Speaker 1: exactly like she does on her Instagram. So And they
- 29:55Speaker 1: obviously weren't edited to the max either. I think we
- 29:57Speaker 1: need to talk about what Tammy said about Matt because
- 29:59Speaker 1: the backlash was very swift to this video. People came
- 30:03Speaker 1: out swinging in support of Matt and criticized Tammy for
- 30:06Speaker 1: mocking him. It was interesting because the general consensus was
- 30:10Speaker 1: that Tammy should not have mocked her ex-husband for being
- 30:14Speaker 1: vulnerable and showing his emotions on TV. However, fellow influencer
- 30:17Speaker 1: Steph Clare-Smith came into bat for Tammy. So she wrote, Well,
- 30:21Speaker 1: maybe she's giggling out of nerves because who would like
- 30:23Speaker 1: to be asked about their ex like that on a
- 30:25Speaker 1: red carpet? It's uncomfortable. I'd probably giggle too. Look, I
- 30:29Speaker 1: understand that sentiment. I'm surprised that they got away with
- 30:31Speaker 1: asking that question. In saying that though, I think that
- 30:36Speaker 1: Tammy has probably been so used to speaking about Matt's
- 30:39Speaker 1: appearance with her friends and they've all had a bit
- 30:41Speaker 1: of a laugh about, you know, he's become a bit
- 30:43Speaker 1: of a viral meme for crying when he was doing
- 30:46Speaker 1: that heights challenge. that she was so used to just
- 30:48Speaker 1: getting a different response. I don't think she realizes how
- 30:51Speaker 1: good that show has been for Matt and the sort
- 30:54Speaker 1: of turnaround we've seen of his public persona.
- 30:56Speaker 2: People love him. There were so many.
- 30:58Speaker 1: People saying, this is so incredibly unfair. Matt seems like
- 31:01Speaker 1: an absolute sweetheart. How dare you mock him? I was
- 31:04Speaker 1: pretty proud of Matt because the day after the premiere,
- 31:07Speaker 1: he posted a thinly veiled response to Tammy. So In
- 31:11Speaker 1: a video posted to his Instagram story, he referenced the
- 31:14Speaker 1: very sad stat that two and a half thousand men
- 31:16Speaker 1: every year in Australia commit suicide. He then said this.
- 31:22Speaker 5: One of the big ones is that men who show
- 31:24Speaker 5: vulnerability and emotions are criticized and belittled and made fun of.
- 31:31Speaker 5: And there is no safe environment to do that. And
- 31:34Speaker 5: I think that a man who cries and shows emotions
- 31:38Speaker 5: and vulnerability is it is a superpower and it shouldn't
- 31:42Speaker 5: be belittled or made fun of. It should be lifted
- 31:46Speaker 5: up and men should be encouraged to do that. And
- 31:49Speaker 5: I think if we are, there won't be as many
- 31:53Speaker 5: men wanting to commit suicide or feeling like they should.
- 31:56Speaker 5: There would be people around them and they'd be happy
- 31:58Speaker 5: to do that. So I feel like in today, in 2026,
- 32:01Speaker 5: there is no place to make fun of someone doing that.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Matt was incredibly articulate in this video. I was really
- 32:08Speaker 1: impressed with the way that he was able to convey
- 32:10Speaker 1: the message. And I think it impressed a lot of
- 32:13Speaker 1: other people as well. It's quite interesting because on Friday night,
- 32:16Speaker 1: we shared Tammy's interview with Matt's response. And interestingly, Tammy's
- 32:21Speaker 1: ex-fiancé and the father of her youngest daughter, Posey, liked
- 32:25Speaker 1: our post. And this prompted a listener to write, Matt
- 32:28Speaker 1: Poole liked this too, speaks volumes. To which Matt replied,
- 32:32Speaker 1: I'll clear that up. There's nothing funny about men's mental health. Now,
- 32:36Speaker 1: another person replied, whenever there's an opportunity to bash your
- 32:39Speaker 1: daughter's mother, you never miss it, as if you're waiting
- 32:42Speaker 1: for it. Now, he ended up responding to that as well, saying,
- 32:45Speaker 1: so you're defending someone who mocks a man for vulnerability
- 32:48Speaker 1: and emotions. You think that men's mental health is a joke,
- 32:51Speaker 1: speaks volumes for your character. This just adds even more.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Fuel to the fire that things are bad between Matt
- 32:57Speaker 2: and Tammy.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Oh, definitely. And I don't think Annalise, Matt Paul's fiance,
- 33:00Speaker 1: would have been too impressed either because over the weekend,
- 33:04Speaker 1: she was single parenting not only her own son, Parker,
- 33:08Speaker 1: who I think is around six to eight months old,
- 33:10Speaker 1: but also her stepdaughter, Posey, Tammy Hembrough's daughter, while Matt
- 33:14Speaker 1: was commentating at an event. So she had two kids
- 33:18Speaker 1: the whole weekend while Tammy was at Live Golf. No
- 33:21Speaker 1: shade to Tammy. Of course, she can go to influencer events,
- 33:24Speaker 1: but obviously when tensions are high, you're not going to
- 33:26Speaker 1: be that impressed that you're looking after two children while
- 33:30Speaker 1: the other parent is off having an amazing time. I've
- 33:33Speaker 1: recently started following Annalise and I really like her, I
- 33:36Speaker 1: think because our sons are a similar age and She
- 33:39Speaker 1: is really posting the realities of what it's like to
- 33:42Speaker 1: have a young child. And she's recently got a sleep
- 33:44Speaker 1: consultant in because they've been absolutely struggling with his sleep.
- 33:47Speaker 1: And I just think what an absolute legend looking after
- 33:50Speaker 1: her own son and also her stepdaughter in such a
- 33:52Speaker 1: beautiful way. But yeah, it does seem it is sad
- 33:55Speaker 1: that tensions seem to be high between the two families. Well,
- 33:57Speaker 1: that is where we're going to leave things today. But
- 33:59Speaker 1: if you want to hear more content from us, we
- 34:01Speaker 1: drop a bonus episode of Outspoken every week on a Thursday.
- 34:05Speaker 1: It's called Outspoken Plus, and to subscribe, it's just $ 5. 99
- 34:08Speaker 1: a month. You get four extra episodes a month. I
- 34:12Speaker 1: think that is a great deal.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Oh, definitely.
- 34:14Speaker 1: And if you subscribe now, you've got a whole back
- 34:16Speaker 1: catalogue of, I think, three or four years of episodes
- 34:18Speaker 1: to look back on. Yeah, I think there's almost 200
- 34:20Speaker 1: episodes that you can binge on. Yeah, so definitely go
- 34:23Speaker 1: and check that out. Now, this episode was recorded on
- 34:25Speaker 1: the traditional land of the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains.
