- 0:05Speaker 1: Something that caught my attention on this story buried at
- 0:08Speaker 1: the bottom of a New York Times piece about DCUs
- 0:13Speaker 1: attorney Janine Piro a note about the fact that Washington
- 0:17Speaker 1: DC limits prosecutions of criminal offenders under the age of
- 0:22Speaker 1: twenty five. Let me say that again. They limit the
- 0:26Speaker 1: prosecution of people under the age of twenty five in Washington,
- 0:30Speaker 1: d C. I'm sorry, what who do you think is
- 0:33Speaker 1: committing the crimes the roving bands of teenage carjackers. Of
- 0:37Speaker 1: course they're under the age of twenty five, and they
- 0:40Speaker 1: limit the prosecutions there, folks, Washington d C needed an intervention,
- 0:45Speaker 1: and Donald Trump's intervention was right and justified and couldn't
- 0:49Speaker 1: come soon enough.
- 1:01Speaker 2: We're going to have a meeting. I think if everything
- 1:02Speaker 2: works out well today, we'll have a trilad and I
- 1:05Speaker 2: think there will be a reasonable chance of ending the
- 1:08Speaker 2: war when we do that.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Is this the end of the road for American support
- 1:13Speaker 3: before you, Frank, is today's meeting deal or no deal?
- 1:18Speaker 2: I can never say that. It's never the end of
- 1:20Speaker 2: the road. People are being killed and we want to
- 1:22Speaker 2: stop that, so I would not say it's the end
- 1:24Speaker 2: of the road.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I think we have a good chance of doing it.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It's been almost four years now that a lot of
- 1:31Speaker 2: people were killed last week. A lot of people last week.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I mean millions of people killed, but a lot of
- 1:36Speaker 2: people last week for whatever reason, a big number, a
- 1:39Speaker 2: lot of soldiers, both on both sides. And I know
- 1:44Speaker 2: the president, I know myself, and I believe Vladimir Putin
- 1:47Speaker 2: wants to see it ending.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Scott Jennings just exposed this liberal panelist and made her
- 1:51Speaker 5: look foolish.
- 1:52Speaker 3: It's about shrinking government, so that'll be too small to
- 1:55Speaker 3: stop Trump with whatever else is in this plan. Why
- 1:57Speaker 3: would that government?
- 1:58Speaker 6: Why would the government stop Trump need a head of
- 2:00Speaker 6: the government, and you're saying the government would be too
- 2:02Speaker 6: small to stop Trump. If Trump's the president, why would
- 2:04Speaker 6: the government the bureaucracy be actively trying to stop him?
- 2:07Speaker 4: Because they were constitution and creating an authoritarian dictatorship. That's why,
- 2:12Speaker 4: no matter who was in office, I'm going to hold
- 2:14Speaker 4: them accountable. But more importantly, I'm going to make sure
- 2:18Speaker 4: the government is working for the American people.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Both of you a managing point, which is that your
- 2:22Speaker 6: view is that Trump is shredding the constitution. I'd like
- 2:24Speaker 6: to hear more about that, but that it seems to
- 2:27Speaker 6: me that you will both believe that the unelected part
- 2:30Speaker 6: of our government, the bureaucracy, has a responsibility to resist
- 2:33Speaker 6: the political leadership.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Is that your view, that's not actually not at all.
- 2:38Speaker 4: That they are holding the constitution, the principles of the Constitution,
- 2:42Speaker 4: and at.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Time how Trump shredding the constitution.
- 2:45Speaker 4: God, he's but Trump's not making peace for politics or
- 2:49Speaker 4: for the Nobel Peace Prize, maybe just a little.
- 2:53Speaker 6: He's doing it because he wants to walk through the
- 2:55Speaker 6: pearly gates.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I want to try and get to Heaven if possible.
- 2:59Speaker 7: I'm hearing I'm not doing well.
- 3:01Speaker 2: I really hit the bottom of the totem pole.
- 3:03Speaker 7: But if I can get to heaven, this will be
- 3:06Speaker 7: one of the reasons.
- 3:09Speaker 4: We've had enough.
- 3:10Speaker 8: We've had enough that them taking all of our rights away,
- 3:13Speaker 8: and so I've taken a stand.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Hell yes, I'm pushing back.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Overnight and Democratic Texas lawmaker spent the night on the
- 3:20Speaker 5: State House floor.
- 3:21Speaker 4: She's still there.
- 3:22Speaker 9: What State Representative Nicole Collier is doing here is protesting
- 3:26Speaker 9: this requirement that the House Democrats agreed to be an
- 3:30Speaker 9: under police escort until they returned to the chamber on
- 3:35Speaker 9: Wednesday morning. The Texas House Speaker announced this yesterday when
- 3:39Speaker 9: they had returned, saying that they would be confined and
- 3:41Speaker 9: locked into the House floor unless they signed a written agreement. Now,
- 3:46Speaker 9: the hope from the GOP is they want to make
- 3:49Speaker 9: sure that they don't have another quorum break and could
- 3:51Speaker 9: actually get to this redistricting bill. But Collier has said
- 3:54Speaker 9: that she will not comply with that request.
- 3:57Speaker 8: I refuse to sign the permission slip to be able
- 4:02Speaker 8: to leave the capital. I disagree with that authoritarian.
- 4:09Speaker 9: Pat There is little that Democrats can do in this
- 4:12Speaker 9: moment to stop Republicans from pushing through these congressional maps
- 4:16Speaker 9: that could net them up to five US House seats
- 4:20Speaker 9: in the next midterm election. They're starting to turn their
- 4:23Speaker 9: attention to making the legal arguments for why the courts
- 4:27Speaker 9: should strike down these laws once they go into effect.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Scott Jennings just obliterated Gavin Newsom on CNN. Let me summarize.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Let me summarize Gavin Newsom's speech today.
- 4:37Speaker 10: Jerry Mandering is evil. Please vote for my jerry mandering.
- 4:40Speaker 10: Of course, he failed to mention that it's already jerry mandered.
- 4:44Speaker 10: Republicans get forty percent of the vote in California, they
- 4:47Speaker 10: have seventeen percent of the congressional seats under a supposed
- 4:50Speaker 10: independent redistricting commission. So we're going to further jerrymander the jerrymandering.
- 4:56Speaker 7: By that standard.
- 4:57Speaker 10: Scott Texas is also jerry manders.
- 5:00Speaker 6: So I want to keep about Illinois here.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Here's the issue.
- 5:03Speaker 11: I think.
- 5:06Speaker 3: A regular census the legislature there jerry mander in Illinois.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Thank you very much for being here.
- 5:13Speaker 11: Thanks so much, a friend.
- 5:14Speaker 7: You're not acting at all thankful, and that's not a
- 5:17Speaker 7: nice thing. I'll be honest, that's not a nice thing,
- 5:20Speaker 7: thinks them.
- 5:21Speaker 12: Thank you. We're a muchful invitation.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Thank you very much for being here.
- 5:25Speaker 7: You don't have the cards right now with us. You
- 5:28Speaker 7: start having right now, You don't your plays. You're gambling
- 5:34Speaker 7: with the lives, and millions of people think you're gambling
- 5:37Speaker 7: with World War three.
- 5:38Speaker 3: As you listen to Russia and Ukraine, which side has
- 5:41Speaker 3: the better cards.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Well, I don't want to say that. I'm just gonna
- 5:44Speaker 2: I'm just here to be Look, this isn't my war.
- 5:46Speaker 2: This is Joe Biden's war. He's the one that had
- 5:51Speaker 2: a lot to do with this happening, and we want
- 5:53Speaker 2: to get it ended, and we wanted to end good
- 5:55Speaker 2: for everybody. We wanted to end good. The people of
- 5:58Speaker 2: Ukraine have suffered incredibly. I'm alive with the world and
- 6:01Speaker 2: I want to get this thing over with. You see
- 6:03Speaker 2: the hatred he's got for Putin. That's very tough for
- 6:06Speaker 2: me to make a deal with that kind of hate.
- 6:07Speaker 2: You've got tremendous hatred. Millions of people killed, but a
- 6:10Speaker 2: lot of people last week for whatever reason, a big number,
- 6:13Speaker 2: a lot of soldiers, both on both sides. And I
- 6:17Speaker 2: know the president, I know myself, and I believe Vladimir
- 6:21Speaker 2: Putin wants to see it ended. How did you wear
- 6:23Speaker 2: a suit?
- 6:23Speaker 3: You're the highest level in this country's.
- 6:26Speaker 7: Office and you refuse to wear a suit.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You just want to see people.
- 6:29Speaker 12: Do you own a suit?
- 6:30Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 6:30Speaker 12: Yeah, problem.
- 6:32Speaker 2: A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting
- 6:34Speaker 2: the dangy office presidents of Leskey. You look fabulous in
- 6:38Speaker 2: that suit. I said, yeah, look you look good. I
- 6:41Speaker 2: said the same thing, Yeah looks good.
- 6:43Speaker 9: I said.
- 6:43Speaker 2: The one that attacked you last time, I remember that.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I apologize to you.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Look you look wonderful.
- 6:49Speaker 12: Westernitas came out of that White House meeting, accentuating the positive. Meanwhile,
- 6:53Speaker 12: in Moscow TV bulletins, Super Scotian and trump Old newspapers,
- 7:02Speaker 12: This headline in a Moscow tabloid reads Zelensky's dead end.
- 7:06Speaker 12: Trump clashed harshly with Mouts over Ukraine at the White
- 7:09Speaker 12: House and then called Putin. That harsh clash in reality
- 7:13Speaker 12: more of a polite disagreement over whether a ceasefire should
- 7:16Speaker 12: come first in Ukraine before a peace settlement. But for
- 7:19Speaker 12: Russia it's an opportunity to undermine Transatlantic unity.
- 7:23Speaker 4: On Yevo Commander Mattierro.
- 7:31Speaker 12: Mostoutschumnados undermining Zelenski also a running theme. The Russian leader
- 7:39Speaker 12: has long come out against such negotiations, with the quote
- 7:42Speaker 12: expired and therefore illegitimate, Zelenski stated this Moscow Daily newspaper.
- 7:46Speaker 12: Expired is now a frequent term in the Russian media,
- 7:49Speaker 12: referring of course to Ukraine's deferral of elections because of
- 7:52Speaker 12: the war, and former President Dmitri Midvedev went one step
- 7:56Speaker 12: further on ex calling Zelenski the kiv clown. But of course,
- 8:00Speaker 12: look not just at what Russia says. With Trump no
- 8:03Speaker 12: longer pressuring Moscow to agree to a cease fire. Monday
- 8:06Speaker 12: night saw the largest air attack on Ukraine so far
- 8:10Speaker 12: in August.
- 8:11Speaker 13: So far, what is out there is a fair amount.
- 8:15Speaker 13: It might not be everything people want, but what has
- 8:18Speaker 13: been released so far has been largely in the trial
- 8:21Speaker 13: of Glene Maxwell and in litigation. And I just looked
- 8:25Speaker 13: back to what the Justice Department put out at the
- 8:27Speaker 13: beginning of this year. That's things that look like this.
- 8:30Speaker 13: This would be the contact book or part of the
- 8:32Speaker 13: contact book with heavy redactions. That's those black dots there,
- 8:37Speaker 13: those black boxes that would be the redactions of the
- 8:41Speaker 13: contact book that the Justice Department released earlier, the sort
- 8:45Speaker 13: of thing that already came out in trial. So again
- 8:47Speaker 13: we go back to this point, is there anything new here?
- 8:52Speaker 13: Could there be anything new released? Still Hanging over all
- 8:56Speaker 13: of this, though, is another piece of documentation around Jeffrey
- 9:00Speaker 13: Epstein and Gallaine Maxwell that didn't exist even a month ago.
- 9:05Speaker 13: That's a transcript of Ghlaine Maxwell speaking to the current
- 9:09Speaker 13: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, a top leader in the
- 9:13Speaker 13: Justice Department. She spoke to him under an immunity agreement
- 9:17Speaker 13: at a US Attorney's office while she's serving time in
- 9:19Speaker 13: prison for sex trafficking of minors. She spoke to him
- 9:23Speaker 13: at the end of July.
- 9:24Speaker 12: There's been a lot of.
- 9:25Speaker 13: Questions of whether the Justice Department will release that documentation,
- 9:29Speaker 13: and we just don't know if they will yet. Sometimes
- 9:32Speaker 13: we hear they may, they haven't, and it's not something
- 9:36Speaker 13: that the House Oversight Committee has specifically asked for.
- 9:40Speaker 4: So the Jeff.
- 9:40Speaker 13: Epstein files, the Epstein Files, it's a lot of material.
- 9:45Speaker 13: There's a lot of different ways that Congress, federal courts,
- 9:50Speaker 13: the Justice Department, and others are trying to pick at
- 9:54Speaker 13: that information to try and get it out into the
- 9:56Speaker 13: public sphere. We just don't know what will be released
- 9:59Speaker 13: yet and if it will satisfy all those people who
- 10:01Speaker 13: want more information.
- 10:03Speaker 11: New video obtained exclusively by CNN. It shows the director
- 10:07Speaker 11: of the DOJ's Weaponization Working Group, Ed Martin, posing for
- 10:11Speaker 11: photos outside of New York Attorney General Leticia James's home
- 10:14Speaker 11: last week.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Ed Martin was recently put in charge of the investigations
- 10:20Speaker 5: into New York Attorney General Leticia James. There's an investigation
- 10:23Speaker 5: looking into whether she committed mortgage fraud and also an
- 10:27Speaker 5: investigation that is looking into her civil lawsuit that was
- 10:31Speaker 5: brought against Donald Trump, his adult sons and the company.
- 10:35Speaker 5: And you can see here on this video Ed Martin
- 10:38Speaker 5: is there with a colleague from the Department of Justice.
- 10:41Speaker 5: He's outside of Letitia James's home and he does pose
- 10:45Speaker 5: for a photograph outside of that home. Now, he was
- 10:48Speaker 5: on Fox News on Sunday and he said that he
- 10:50Speaker 5: was there because he had had meetings in New York
- 10:53Speaker 5: and New Jersey and that he decided to go by
- 10:55Speaker 5: the home. He said, you have to lay eyes on it,
- 10:57Speaker 5: and also saying that you got to get a sense
- 10:59Speaker 5: of what is at state by Letitia James's attorney, Albi Lowell,
- 11:03Speaker 5: has pushed back. He wrote a letter to ed Martin
- 11:05Speaker 5: yesterday in which he highlighted this unusual visit to Letitia
- 11:10Speaker 5: james home, which they say is an intimidation tactic. He
- 11:13Speaker 5: also pointed out that soon after being appointed to be
- 11:17Speaker 5: leading this investigation, that Ed Martin called for James's resignation
- 11:21Speaker 5: and then also went on Fox News on Sunday and
- 11:23Speaker 5: said that he wanted to look into every aspect of
- 11:26Speaker 5: James's life, which some people would call a fishing expedition.
- 11:30Speaker 5: So Lowell has said that you were there any doubts
- 11:33Speaker 5: as to your political retributive mission. You erase them in
- 11:36Speaker 5: your first statements about your appointment when you stated that
- 11:39Speaker 5: your assignment is to quote stick the landing. A responsible,
- 11:42Speaker 5: incredible federal prosecutor is not a pommel horse gymnast. Now,
- 11:47Speaker 5: I've spoken with other former federal prosecutors who also say
- 11:50Speaker 5: that these moves are highly unusual and it could have
- 11:52Speaker 5: real world implications if the grand jury were to return
- 11:55Speaker 5: an indictment. This could be something that Leticia James legal
- 11:59Speaker 5: teams could use to argue to the judge that the
- 12:02Speaker 5: jury pool has been prejudiced and that this was a
- 12:04Speaker 5: selective prosecution. Of course, James has been criticized herself for
- 12:08Speaker 5: campaigning on saying that she was going to investigate Donald Trump.
- 12:12Speaker 5: She does have that court victory in the civil lawsuit
- 12:15Speaker 5: where judge has ordered Trump to pay half a billion dollars.
- 12:18Speaker 5: We reached out to the Department of Justice and they
- 12:21Speaker 5: declined to comment.
